Global Aid Giant UNRWA Rocked by Claims of Terror Infiltration · The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson

Speaker 1: So I've always felt that the UN has tremendous potential.
• 0:04
Speaker 1: It's not living up to that potential right now. It
• 0:07
Speaker 1: really is, and hasn't for a long time. It has.
• 0:10
Speaker 1: They are great hopes for it, but it's not being
• 0:14
Speaker 1: well run, to be honest, and they're not doing the job.
• 0:17
Speaker 1: A lot of these conflicts that we're working on should
• 0:20
Speaker 1: be settled, or at least we should have some help
• 0:22
Speaker 1: in settling them. We never seem to get help. That
• 0:24
Speaker 1: should be the primary purpose of the UN in nine nations.
• 0:28
Speaker 2: If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
• 0:31
  Speaker 2: Ben ferguson.
• 0:31
Speaker 3: Good Monday morning, nice to have you with us on
• 0:33
Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got a massive
• 0:36
Speaker 3: breaking news story for you. Your tax dollars are apparently going
• 0:41
Speaker 3: to terrorists in UNRUP who are directly tied to Hamas
• 0:45
Speaker 3: and even involved in the October seventh attax. So how
• 0:50
Speaker 3: do we stop having our tax hours go to UNRUP
• 0:52
Speaker 3: and can the present move to declare their terrorist organization.
• 0:57
Speaker 3: That's exactly what may happen, and we have all the
• 0:59
Speaker 3: detail than else for you. But before we get to that,
• 1:02
Speaker 3: I want to take a moment and ask you to
• 1:04
Speaker 3: help the people in Israel with my friends at the
• 1:07
Speaker 3: IFCJ working right now on the ground for all those
• 1:11
Speaker 3: in need. When you hear about Israel in the news,
• 1:13
Speaker 3: it's easy to think of headlines politics, or another conflict
• 1:18
Speaker 3: far away, But for families in Israel and Jews around
• 1:21
Speaker 3: the world, this is incredibly personal. Anti Semitic attacks in
• 1:26
Speaker 3: the Holy Land and across the globe are happening right now.
• 1:30
Speaker 3: Elderly Holocaust survivors who are endured so much already again
• 1:35
Speaker 3: fear for their lives. Jewish families are praying for the
• 1:39
Speaker 3: freedom to worship in safety, and in moments like these,
• 1:43
Speaker 3: your voice matters because your voice can remind them that
• 1:47
Speaker 3: they're not alone. The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
• 1:51
Speaker 3: inviting you to leave a personal prayer or message of
• 1:55
Speaker 3: encouragement that will be delivered directly to someone in Israel
• 2:00
Speaker 3: who needs hope right now, not filtered through the media,
• 2:04
Speaker 3: not lost online, but personally delivered a simple prayer, a
• 2:09
Speaker 3: few heartfelt words they can lift the spirit of someone
• 2:12
Speaker 3: facing fear, uncertainty, and isolation. This is more than support.
• 2:17
Speaker 3: This is standing with Israel when it matters the most.
• 2:21
Speaker 3: Go to PREYIFCJ dot org. That's prey pr ay IFCJ
• 2:29
Speaker 3: dot org, and you can submit your prayer today. That's
• 2:33
Speaker 3: prey if CJ dot org. It's the forty seven Morning
• 2:38
Speaker 3: Update and it starts right now.
• 2:40
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 2:42
Speaker 3: There is a US probe of the embattled UN Gaza
• 2:46
Speaker 3: Relief Agency. It has now expanded to more than one thousand,
• 2:50
Speaker 3: five hundred staffers that have suspected ties directly to terrorist
• 2:55
Speaker 3: organizations like a moss. It is known as UNRA and
• 2:59
Speaker 3: it could soon be labeled a foreign terrorist organization. But
• 3:03
Speaker 3: your tax dollurs have actually been going there. There is
• 3:06
Speaker 3: momentum now growing for un OR to lose its diplomatic
• 3:09
Speaker 3: community as well, which would expose it to lawsuits from
• 3:13
Speaker 3: October seven survivors and victims' families. Now the media is
• 3:19
Speaker 3: not covering this. Thank goodness to Free beacon Is, and
• 3:22
Speaker 3: that's why we're going to use this show, and I
• 3:25
Speaker 3: hope you will take this show and share it everywhere
• 3:28
Speaker 3: you can on social media because what I'm about to
• 3:31
Speaker 3: tell you should enrage all of you. Now. The federal
• 3:33
Speaker 3: investigation is into the staff at the United Nations Relief
• 3:37
Speaker 3: and Work Agency. It is the UN Gods, a relief
• 3:40
Speaker 3: organization that's been closely linked now directly to Hamas. They
• 3:44
Speaker 3: say it will soon encompass more than one thousand, five
• 3:47
Speaker 3: hundred unrelinked individuals suspected of direct terror ties. Now, this
• 3:53
Speaker 3: is an unprecedented dragnet reported here for the first time
• 3:57
Speaker 3: by the for Washing Free Beacon. Where all the other
• 3:59
Speaker 3: media outlets and why are they not covering this is
• 4:01
Speaker 3: the question you should be asking, because all they did
• 4:04
Speaker 3: was ask basic questions and they expose now what has
• 4:07
Speaker 3: been described as a humanitarian aid group, that's not what
• 4:11
Speaker 3: they were at all, brimming with hamas operative, so actual
• 4:15
Speaker 3: terrorists within UNRUP. And then it's generating momentum because of
• 4:19
Speaker 3: this report in Congress and the Trump administration for not
• 4:23
Speaker 3: only harsher sanctions on the umbattled a group, but then
• 4:26
Speaker 3: maybe even designating them a terrorists organization. Quote. The punitive
• 4:30
Speaker 3: measures up for consideration include stripping UNRA of its diplomatic
• 4:34
Speaker 3: community under US law, which would open it up to
• 4:37
Speaker 3: legal action from terror victims, and fully designate the eight
• 4:42
Speaker 3: organizations a foreign terrorist organization because they're not doing eight
• 4:44
Speaker 3: at all. They're filled with terrorists. They are literally a
• 4:46
Speaker 3: terrorist organization. Now that's coming according with not one, not two,
• 4:49
Speaker 3: but three Trump administration officials and other sources tracking the
• 4:53
Speaker 3: matter in Congress. Now again, why is this the first
• 4:56
Speaker 3: that you and I are hearing about? This is the
• 4:58
Speaker 3: question we should all be asking now. These discussions have
• 5:02
Speaker 3: apparently accelerated since The Free Beacon reported in April that
• 5:06
Speaker 3: UNDER and other un agencies are stonewalling a federal probe
• 5:11
Speaker 3: into their ties directly to HAMAS. The US Agency for
• 5:14
Speaker 3: International Development Inspector General's Office, a law enforcement agency separate
• 5:19
Speaker 3: from the largely defunct USAID, has spent months independently unearthing
• 5:25
Speaker 3: evidence that countless UNRA employees actually participated. Listen carefully to
• 5:32
Speaker 3: this in the Hamas October seventh tear attacks. So these
• 5:36
Speaker 3: UNRA employees were the terrorists in the October seventh tear attack.
• 5:41
Speaker 3: They say the probe will soon expand to more than
• 5:43
Speaker 3: one hundred and one thousand, five hundred suspected militants with
• 5:47
Speaker 3: direct UNRUN ties. Now, UNRA an official organ of the
• 5:52
Speaker 3: notoriously anti Israel United Nations. Your tax dollars goes there,
• 5:56
Speaker 3: Your tax dollars goes to. UNRA is the only a
• 5:58
Speaker 3: group with a large operation quote unquote in Gaza. Well,
• 6:02
Speaker 3: apparently it's just funneling money to terrorists. With as many
• 6:05
Speaker 3: as thirteen thousand, they say, godzen employees and a large
• 6:09
Speaker 3: distribution network. Man that seems to work perfect for terrorist organization. Now,
• 6:14
Speaker 3: you and officials have insisted, of course, and lied for years,
• 6:17
Speaker 3: that's the only viable option for getting aid relief to
• 6:21
Speaker 3: the Gazens who are in need. Israel and its supporters
• 6:24
Speaker 3: of long claim that UNRA is fully infiltrated by Hamas.
• 6:28
Speaker 3: Now we see the evidence of that and has cemented
• 6:30
Speaker 3: the terror group's control also over a distribution and much
• 6:34
Speaker 3: of that aid is actually sold off and they make
• 6:36
Speaker 3: money off of it, which is even more shocking. Now
• 6:38
Speaker 3: Usaid Inspector General is currently working with a state department
• 6:42
Speaker 3: in the latter's effort to build a blacklist that will
• 6:44
Speaker 3: ensure terror linked under employees cannot circulate to other aid
• 6:49
Speaker 3: organizations within the United Nations systems. Because again, this is
• 6:52
Speaker 3: the this is the United Nations. It's been infiltrated by
• 6:56
Speaker 3: terrorists organizations, and your dollars are going to them. The
• 7:00
Speaker 3: Inspector General has already confirmed that one under school principle,
• 7:05
Speaker 3: So it's a school principle participated in the October seventh
• 7:09
Speaker 3: attacks as a member of Hamas's East Battalion and has
• 7:13
Speaker 3: flagged multiple others for the State Department as well. Quote
• 7:17
Speaker 3: the USAID Inspector General's cases coming in droves are corroborating
• 7:21
Speaker 3: the obvious parent subsidy relationship between UNRA and Hamas and Gaza.
• 7:27
Speaker 3: A senior State Department official familiar with the investigation told
• 7:31
Speaker 3: the Free Beacon, saying if UNRA was not a un organization,
• 7:34
Speaker 3: it would be undeniably facing terrorist sanctions based on what
• 7:39
Speaker 3: USAID ig has uncovered now. This ongoing Usaid Inspector General investigation,
• 7:46
Speaker 3: sources said, would logically not only lead to labeling UNRE
• 7:49
Speaker 3: as a foreign terrorist group, but they say that the
• 7:51
Speaker 3: probe quote confirms that if it walks like a foreign
• 7:54
Speaker 3: terrorist organization, and it talks like a foreign terrorist organization
• 7:58
Speaker 3: and employees foreign teens, terrist organization personnel, then a case
• 8:03
Speaker 3: actually exists that it should be a foreign terrorist organization.
• 8:07
Speaker 3: A second US official also confirming that the Trump administration
• 8:11
Speaker 3: has to consider a whole of world approach to UNRA
• 8:14
Speaker 3: that includes further executive action and policies that would strip
• 8:18
Speaker 3: the AID group's diplomatic immunity, says, if UNRA could be
• 8:23
Speaker 3: sued in the American courts, the agency could very well
• 8:26
Speaker 3: collapse under the strain of defending itself from an October
• 8:30
Speaker 3: seventh related complaint alone, because there's a torrent of them.
• 8:35
Speaker 3: If this many people were involved in that terrorist attack quote,
• 8:38
Speaker 3: there's a lot here we can do, said the official,
• 8:42
Speaker 3: a lot we could do. There has to be consequences
• 8:44
Speaker 3: for UNRA for its conduct and the run up and
• 8:47
Speaker 3: the role in October seventh and continuing all the way
• 8:50
Speaker 3: to today with its ongoing refusal to adhere to legitimate
• 8:54
Speaker 3: and pressing American inquiries, and the Trump administration stripped virtually
• 8:58
Speaker 3: all remaining US funding in February, citing its established links
• 9:03
Speaker 3: to HAMAS. The agency, however, still enjoys that diplomatic community,
• 9:07
Speaker 3: and they can access some funds from the larger un
• 9:09
Speaker 3: budget which your tax dollars go to, and they facilitate
• 9:12
Speaker 3: hamas's continue control over a distribution in Gaza, and without immunities,
• 9:17
Speaker 3: the source explained, there is a potential exposure for a
• 9:20
Speaker 3: foreign terist organization designation and then the massive lawsuits which
• 9:24
Speaker 3: would then be for the courts to adjudicate now. Additionally,
• 9:28
Speaker 3: they say the unrefunding remains a line item in the
• 9:32
Speaker 3: UN budget and there's still American tax payer dollers going
• 9:35
Speaker 3: towards that, and that's unacceptable. A third US official confirmed
• 9:39
Speaker 3: the appetite for such action has been building since it
• 9:43
Speaker 3: became abundantly clear that under an other UN organizations, because
• 9:48
Speaker 3: again is not the only one, We're not cooperating with
• 9:51
Speaker 3: the USAID Inspector General's probe wine because they don't want
• 9:55
Speaker 3: you to know that they're actually terrorists and that your
• 9:57
Speaker 3: tax dollars are going to fund a terrorist organization and
• 10:02
Speaker 3: even tears attacks like October seventh.
• 10:04
  Speaker 2: Now.
• 10:04
Speaker 3: The USAID Inspector General also sent a letter to six
• 10:09
Speaker 3: separate UN agencies and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
• 10:14
Speaker 3: Yeah you heard me say, the Red Cross in December,
• 10:17
Speaker 3: asking them to name all employees who worked on US
• 10:20
Speaker 3: government funded awards and provide their contact information and data
• 10:24
Speaker 3: and place of birth. The office also asked the agencies
• 10:27
Speaker 3: to detail their interactions with Hamas, among other requests. None,
• 10:33
Speaker 3: I'm gonna say it again, none of the responding UN
• 10:35
Speaker 3: recipients provided the request of information pertaining to their personnel.
• 10:41
Speaker 3: The Inspector General exposing that last month quote. Given its
• 10:45
Speaker 3: history with hamas, NRA does not have the luxury of
• 10:49
Speaker 3: not cooperating with an investigation and thinking there might be
• 10:52
Speaker 3: not be consequences, said the US official. We will respond
• 10:56
Speaker 3: accordingly now. Elements of all these discussions have also spilled
• 11:00
Speaker 3: into public view in the recent days, as lawmakers call
• 11:03
Speaker 3: for UNRA to be fully dismantled. Senator Tom Cotton, a
• 11:07
Speaker 3: Republican from Arkansas, now has twenty four of his colleagues
• 11:12
Speaker 3: citing the Usaid Inspector General's ongoing work, and they are
• 11:15
Speaker 3: now urging the Trump administration to take decisive action to
• 11:19
Speaker 3: fully dismantled under and eliminate it from the UN budget.
• 11:22
Speaker 3: Mike Lawler, a Republican from New York, and ninety other
• 11:25
Speaker 3: lawmakers in the House issued a similar call. On Friday.
• 11:28
Speaker 3: Cotton told The Free Beacon that unre hiss terrorist ties
• 11:31
Speaker 3: are clear, and the UN's attempt to hide those ties
• 11:34
Speaker 3: from the US government is deeply concerning. It's a long
• 11:37
Speaker 3: past time to completely dismantle the organization. Senator Ted Cruz
• 11:41
Speaker 3: and Bill Haggerty, Republican from Tennessee, very influential members and
• 11:45
Speaker 3: Senate Formulations Committee, both told the Free beacon that it's
• 11:49
Speaker 3: time to move beyond merely freezing unresfunding, particularly as the
• 11:54
Speaker 3: USAID Inspector General continues to unearth evidence of Hamas' complicity.
• 11:59
Speaker 3: Either they come clear or I expect growing momentum for
• 12:02
Speaker 3: designating them for the support they give to terrorists, Crew said.
• 12:06
Speaker 3: Haggarty called it appalling that other UN agencies today are
• 12:09
Speaker 3: still stonewalling the Trump administration's ongoing investigations, adding that if
• 12:14
Speaker 3: UN agencies refuse to show basic transparency and then accountability,
• 12:19
Speaker 3: then the Executive branch and Congress must respond. Richard Goldberg,
• 12:23
Speaker 3: who served in both Trump administrations, currently a senior advisor
• 12:26
Speaker 3: with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies think tanks, that
• 12:30
Speaker 3: authorities already exist to impose terrorism sanctions on UNDRA if
• 12:35
Speaker 3: the President so chooses. The Justice Department's position right now
• 12:38
Speaker 3: is that UNDRA does not enjoy privilege or immunity. Goldberg
• 12:42
Speaker 3: said that means nothing stops the Treasury Department from imposing
• 12:46
Speaker 3: terrorism sanctions on UNRA to force its closure. Some people
• 12:51
Speaker 3: might be afraid of breaking eggs at the UN while
• 12:53
Speaker 3: the Gods Aboard of Peace is still young, but I
• 12:56
Speaker 3: guarantee under its survival will be the death of the
• 13:00
Speaker 3: or to piece the second Donald Trump leaves office. By
• 13:03
Speaker 3: the way, I couldn't agree more. Let me say a
• 13:05
Speaker 3: couple of things here in closing. One, God blessed the
• 13:08
Speaker 3: Washington Free Beacon for doing this work, because it's incredible
• 13:11
Speaker 3: what they just expose. Number two, this is why I
• 13:14
Speaker 3: do this show, to give you this type of information.
• 13:17
Speaker 3: And then I hope what you will do is take
• 13:20
Speaker 3: this exact information and share a podcast anywhere you can
• 13:24
Speaker 3: on social media. You can also text a link to
• 13:26
Speaker 3: the podcast anybody in your phone contact list so that
• 13:29
Speaker 3: they can hear what I just gave you. There needs
• 13:33
Speaker 3: to be insane amounts of pressure from US as Americans
• 13:37
Speaker 3: on Congress right now, telling Congress right now, hey guys,
• 13:42
Speaker 3: we're not going to send you any more money if
• 13:45
Speaker 3: you're gonna give it to terrorists organizations. By the way,
• 13:48
Speaker 3: that's not crazy, that's common sense. Common sense says exactly that.
• 13:53
Speaker 3: Common sense says, you don't send money to terrorists. Okay,
• 13:58
Speaker 3: I'm gonna say that one more time. You don't send
• 14:02
Speaker 3: money American tax dollars to terrorists. That's what you don't do.
• 14:07
Speaker 3: And I think all of this should be angry. We
• 14:09
Speaker 3: should be frustrated. We should be demanding accountability in a
• 14:14
Speaker 3: way that we have not seen so far.
