Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: It's Wayne d in studio with two of the WWE's
- 0:03Speaker 1: finest and I mean talent, So reel it in.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's too early to the hottest and it's too easy.
- 0:09Speaker 1: To get my res on the George h hanging out
- 0:13Speaker 1: with Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jacks and let me say the
- 0:15Speaker 1: w W Women's Champion Nia Jacks and miss money in
- 0:19Speaker 1: the bank.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Tiffany Stratton.
- 0:21Speaker 1: I got to ask as you walk in with the
- 0:23Speaker 1: briefcase and the gorgeous championship, is that the bad thing
- 0:27Speaker 1: of winning all of a sudden you have new carry ons?
- 0:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 0:34Speaker 4: Yeah, Like getting through security is always quite a task.
- 0:37Speaker 4: It's always a bet. We're like, are they going to
- 0:39Speaker 4: pull our man.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Always turn and bet money. Yeah, bet you five dollars
- 0:42Speaker 3: he pulls it.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Well so because people don't understand, do you physically there's
- 0:48Speaker 1: multiple championships right of yours?
- 0:50Speaker 2: Maybe there's like a TV version then.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Like do you literally you the show's over and it
- 0:55Speaker 1: goes in your luggage and it goes home.
- 0:57Speaker 2: This comes with me everywhere.
- 0:58Speaker 4: I don't have multiple oh is I mean they have
- 1:02Speaker 4: some just in case because there was an issue when
- 1:04Speaker 4: I think Ronda Rowsey left it on a plane one time,
- 1:07Speaker 4: and they're not cheap, so they always make sure just
- 1:11Speaker 4: in case somebody happens to lose it or leave it somewhere.
- 1:13Speaker 4: But this comes everywhere with me.
- 1:16Speaker 1: It's funny. We did years and years ago. We had
- 1:19Speaker 1: road Warrior Animal on with us and they had him
- 1:23Speaker 1: and Hawk both lost their tag titles and then found
- 1:26Speaker 1: them like years after they left the company.
- 1:28Speaker 2: So he just had it. He's like, oh, look I
- 1:30Speaker 2: got a souvenir. I'm like, dude about outed him to TMZ.
- 1:36Speaker 1: What your Your partnership feels natural and super not forced.
- 1:43Speaker 2: So I want to start with Naya. What is that like?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Because you I feel like you have the ability to
- 1:49Speaker 1: bridge to whatever the next generation of Ladies is because
- 1:52Speaker 1: there was you know, there was there was the trist
- 1:57Speaker 1: Stratus you know era, and then it kind of moved
- 2:00Speaker 1: into your current era where it became the Ladies became
- 2:04Speaker 1: dominant performers once again, less divas yeah, and more featured.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:09Speaker 1: And it feels like you are the champion that could help,
- 2:12Speaker 1: you know, bring in whoever's next.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, I've been saying that we are like this
- 2:17Speaker 4: is the best roster we've ever had. We are the
- 2:20Speaker 4: pinnacle of the women's like wrestling. And you know, we
- 2:24Speaker 4: have this young little lightning in a bottle, Tiffany Stratton,
- 2:27Speaker 4: and she encompasses everything. She's got the looks, she's got
- 2:30Speaker 4: the brain, she's got the athleticism, and that's kind of
- 2:33Speaker 4: the caliber we have right now in WWE. And I
- 2:36Speaker 4: think because she is so young and she's getting it
- 2:38Speaker 4: so well that it's an easy, uh partnership with me
- 2:41Speaker 4: and her because I have the knowledge of like, you know,
- 2:45Speaker 4: old school ways and how to be respectful and certain
- 2:48Speaker 4: like ways to deal with things, and she's learning as
- 2:51Speaker 4: she goes, and so it's easy for me to be
- 2:53Speaker 4: there to help her out because you know, she's I
- 2:56Speaker 4: call her the franchise. You know, she's the next ten
- 2:58Speaker 4: years of wrestling and she gets it. So it's it's
- 3:02Speaker 4: really cool to see the franchise.
- 3:04Speaker 2: That's a pretty bad ass moniker, I'll.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Be honest, the franchise. Maybe she used that as my
- 3:08Speaker 3: little sloge.
- 3:10Speaker 2: It feels like a T shirt. Yeah, but I'm gonna say,
- 3:12Speaker 2: I'm gonna edit this out.
- 3:13Speaker 1: You should and then when it comes out, we'll clip it.
- 3:20Speaker 2: You have, Tiffany.
- 3:22Speaker 1: It feels like there's so much trust and belief in
- 3:24Speaker 1: you within the company That doesn't happen to young superstars
- 3:28Speaker 1: and young wrestlers. But it feels like I don't want
- 3:30Speaker 1: to say they're throwing at you, because then it entails
- 3:32Speaker 1: you don't deserve it. But it feels like there's a
- 3:34Speaker 1: lot of they're investing a lot in your bank pun
- 3:37Speaker 1: intended right now, what does that mean for you to
- 3:39Speaker 1: walk in the door and immediately have people.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Back in you.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, I've only been doing this for like
- 3:45Speaker 3: two and a half three years now, and you know,
- 3:47Speaker 3: I just got called up and kind of wasn't really
- 3:50Speaker 3: expecting to be kind of skyrocketed to you know, like
- 3:54Speaker 3: have been like being so over with the crowd and
- 3:57Speaker 3: then you know, money in the bank and stuff like that.
- 3:59Speaker 3: So it's definitely very reassuring, just because I do like
- 4:03Speaker 3: I have a problem with putting too much pressure on
- 4:05Speaker 3: myself and sometimes like when I underdeliver, I'm really hard
- 4:09Speaker 3: on myself. But like lately I've been kind of you know,
- 4:12Speaker 3: reassured with everything in the crowd and the in the
- 4:14Speaker 3: briefcase and stuff like that. So I feel like I'm
- 4:17Speaker 3: a lot more confident now, especially now versus you know
- 4:21Speaker 3: back of my nixt days and I definitely feel like
- 4:23Speaker 3: I am ready for whatever gets thrown at me.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Outside of your in ring performance.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You have this ability and and I don't know if
- 4:31Speaker 1: it's something that's taught through learning promos, but it's it's
- 4:35Speaker 1: the stone cold effect where you can walk in which
- 4:38Speaker 1: sounds big, but let me explain where you can walk
- 4:40Speaker 1: in the ring and you can be like, I'm hearing
- 4:43Speaker 1: this town full of idiots and you'll get a huge
- 4:45Speaker 1: pop in the word idiots. Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Is that something that just happened for you or or
- 4:52Speaker 1: is it something that you worked on?
- 4:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I feel like it kind of just happened.
- 4:58Speaker 3: I wouldn't say, like, you know, I'm practicing at home
- 5:00Speaker 3: calling people idiots and stuff, but yeah, I don't know.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Maybe it's just who I am. It's what Tiffy Time's
- 5:08Speaker 3: all about. People just love to be called idiots.
- 5:12Speaker 4: I mean, I just think Tiffy Time is such a
- 5:16Speaker 4: cool breath of fresh air to our division, and I
- 5:18Speaker 4: think it's what the audience has been wanting from us,
- 5:21Speaker 4: Like she brought in such a different era of being
- 5:23Speaker 4: like I am the hottest, the cutest, I'm a Barbie doll,
- 5:27Speaker 4: but I'm also a really good athlete. I can go hard.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I know that she was thrown a challenge. When she
- 5:31Speaker 4: first got called up. There was a double taping where
- 5:34Speaker 4: she had two singles matches in the same night and
- 5:36Speaker 4: a backstage and this is literally right after she got
- 5:39Speaker 4: called up, and she over delivered. And so I think
- 5:42Speaker 4: when the crowd started seeing that she was she's putting
- 5:45Speaker 4: in the work and that she's actually delivering in these
- 5:47Speaker 4: crazy matches, that they were there behind her. And so
- 5:50Speaker 4: she does have that effect, that stone cold effect where
- 5:53Speaker 4: they love to hate her but still love her.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it's still people will hate you, but like your
- 5:58Speaker 1: t shirts are still going to sell up.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Yeah, oh before halfway through the show.
- 6:01Speaker 4: Which, by the way, you can buy this briefcase on merch.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I know.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Can I tell you somebody I heard an interview recently
- 6:06Speaker 1: where someone's like, oh, they should sell that, and I'm like,
- 6:09Speaker 1: did you hear that?
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, I'm like, way to know the product.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Yeah, so I actually knew that because my son liked
- 6:17Speaker 1: the Damien Priest. When he does, so, my daughter who's
- 6:20Speaker 1: thirteen's like, oh, maybe if they're selling that, you know tonight,
- 6:23Speaker 1: I can I'm like.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot of his allowance.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I feel like you've also ushered in it. Maybe it's
- 6:31Speaker 1: different creative, different leadership. It used to be the female superstars,
- 6:37Speaker 1: you can be beautiful and go out and do beautiful
- 6:40Speaker 1: stuff and if you're a badass.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Well then just go Rex Shop.
- 6:44Speaker 1: But now I feel like we're in an era where
- 6:45Speaker 1: you can do both and I want obviously you've been
- 6:48Speaker 1: with the company longer. Does that feel accurate?
- 6:50Speaker 4: Yes, I mean I know that when I was previously booked,
- 6:54Speaker 4: it was more of like the slow lumbering giant sort
- 6:58Speaker 4: of bookie for me when I was wrestling, And so
- 7:01Speaker 4: I don't think the you know, the audience was really
- 7:04Speaker 4: getting behind it, because I think they love where it's
- 7:06Speaker 4: going now to where we all the women are athletes,
- 7:09Speaker 4: Like you can't sit here and pinpoint like every single
- 7:11Speaker 4: girl all the way down to NXC. We have top
- 7:13Speaker 4: tier athletes and they're all beautiful. So like we deliver both.
- 7:17Speaker 4: You know, it's the beauty and the beast effect for
- 7:19Speaker 4: all of us. And so I think the crowd is
- 7:22Speaker 4: it's what they've been wanting and we're delivering right now.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Plus you know, we have the tutelage of Triple H
- 7:27Speaker 4: who's really pushing us, the women to the next level.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I love that and it has to feel good as
- 7:32Speaker 1: well that you're we'll call it the second chapter of
- 7:35Speaker 1: your career. It feels like you. I don't want to
- 7:38Speaker 1: say you weren't having fun, but it feels like you're.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Every time you walk out your it's your face almost
- 7:43Speaker 1: says finally right.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Because it feel that way a little bit.
- 7:47Speaker 4: It feels really good, you know. And the time away
- 7:49Speaker 4: was good because it helped reset myself. But I'm coming
- 7:51Speaker 4: in here for with a different like motivation, a different passion,
- 7:55Speaker 4: and I'm actually having just so much fun, you know,
- 7:58Speaker 4: with my backstage girls, with my Tiffy on the road.
- 8:01Speaker 4: I'm appreciating everything a lot more.
- 8:03Speaker 1: It does feel, and I pay attention to y'all on
- 8:06Speaker 1: social media. It does feel very like Sorority Big Sister,
- 8:10Speaker 1: like she's she's your what do they call him?
- 8:12Speaker 3: Like?
- 8:15Speaker 1: SmackDown is at Bridgestone tonight, not a ton of tickets
- 8:17Speaker 1: left heading into what's going to be an amazing pl
- 8:20Speaker 1: in Atlanta, and it's like that these cards don't slow down,
- 8:24Speaker 1: and so you wait for a TV like, oh, this
- 8:26Speaker 1: will be as a fan, Oh, this will be like
- 8:28Speaker 1: a filler show because they got to figure. Yeah, there's
- 8:30Speaker 1: none of that anymore. It's bananas.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Uh.
- 8:34Speaker 1: So as you also perform, I want to ask, what
- 8:37Speaker 1: are some exciting things for you as a fan because
- 8:39Speaker 1: you get to watch the show as well.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, I mean I love the live in Rha
- 8:44Speaker 3: and Dom story. I think that is so fun. I
- 8:46Speaker 3: think that's like I just love sitting back and watching
- 8:50Speaker 3: that story. Like I think Raw's very interesting for me.
- 8:54Speaker 4: I watched some really cool deep stories, and I think,
- 8:58Speaker 4: you know, we focus on what we do and so
- 8:59Speaker 4: we're not to focus on what everybody else is. So
- 9:01Speaker 4: when we get to sit back and watch, like obviously
- 9:04Speaker 4: I'm invested in the Bloodline, so I don't know every
- 9:06Speaker 4: anything that's going on with them, and I enjoy watching
- 9:08Speaker 4: like what they're going to bring the table. I love
- 9:11Speaker 4: watching solos like progression in his character and his roles.
- 9:14Speaker 4: It's yeah, even other women. Like tonight you get to
- 9:17Speaker 4: see Mitchen and Chelsea Green in a dumpster match, Like
- 9:21Speaker 4: that's something that we're actually looking forward to.
- 9:22Speaker 2: You know, we don't know.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Exactly what's going to happen, but like we sorry, we
- 9:27Speaker 4: become fans as.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Well, and she says it's not okay, but the fans say,
- 9:30Speaker 1: you can cash in on.
- 9:32Speaker 3: What the.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Who got her that custom briefcase?
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but if she cashes in, you can keep the briefcase.
- 9:41Speaker 4: No, I'm the chamber now, it's my time, my time,
- 9:46Speaker 4: it's my time, it's our time.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Tag titles, Uh, that's our next.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Actually, where we've been eyeing Bianca and Jat.
- 9:54Speaker 2: You know we want all the gold.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Why not, got a crown, already, got a title, got
- 9:59Speaker 1: the brief I'm just.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Saying, locked and loaded with gold.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Thank you for coming to hang I appreciate you. Thank
- 10:05Speaker 2: you so much. That was a lot of fun.
