- 0:13Speaker 3: Powered by Seahawks dot Com.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Matt pumpfake's looking at the goal line. He throws it
- 0:17Speaker 1: into the m zone. Touchdown, Say Hawks, it's Michael.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Bumpers with a diving catching the end zone on ten
- 0:24Speaker 2: yard touchdown reception for Bumpers, and the kid out of

- 0:44Speaker 4: They're on figure things out. Playoffs are still at reach,
- 0:48Speaker 4: but it's gonna take a lot against these Eagles. Bump

- 0:58Speaker 4: be positive, figure out away the Seahawks are gonna get
- 1:01Speaker 4: this done. We got it, we got it figured out,
- 1:04Speaker 4: we got the formula, so yeah, we do. We're just
- 1:06Speaker 4: give you a nice little tease for the next half hours,
- 1:08Speaker 4: so you're gonna hear everything you need to know about
- 1:10Speaker 4: how the Seahawks can get this done in the weaknesses
- 1:12Speaker 4: within the Eagles defense. So stay tuned. It's gonna be
- 1:16Speaker 4: a real fun show. But let's waste no more time.
- 1:18Speaker 4: What's on tap?
- 1:22Speaker 1: What's on tap? Eagles ten and three second place in
- 1:27Speaker 1: the NFC East.
- 1:28Speaker 4: They're tied with Dallas, but Dallas wins a tiebreaker because
- 1:32Speaker 4: of a couple different things.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I know they're one to one, but there's.
- 1:34Speaker 4: A separate tiebreaker, so they're technically in second place. This year,
- 1:38Speaker 4: they have wins over the Patriots, Vikings, Bucks, Commanders, Rams, Dolphins,
- 1:43Speaker 4: Commanders again, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Bills. They have lost to
- 1:48Speaker 4: the Jets, forty nine, Ers, and Cowboys. And here's the
- 1:52Speaker 4: thing about them, they while they have a great record,
- 1:55Speaker 4: they went to Super Bowl, did all those things, Bob,
- 1:57Speaker 4: They've kind of got.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Smacked the last two weeks. Yeah, it's been a it's
- 2:01Speaker 5: been a different story for these guys. Now you still
- 2:03Speaker 5: respect him, right because they're ten and three. They got
- 2:06Speaker 5: some weapons. But the other day last weekend, it was
- 2:10Speaker 5: it was a highly anticipated rematch. Right in Week nine,
- 2:14Speaker 5: the Eagles took down the Cowboys twenty eight to twenty three,
- 2:17Speaker 5: thrilling fashion and with the red zone stop for the Eagles.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Everybody's hyped up. But it was a little different this
- 2:23Speaker 5: time around. The Cowboys controlled the game from start to finish.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Cowboys jumped up to a twenty four to six league
- 2:28Speaker 5: The only touchdown score by the Eagles came from a
- 2:30Speaker 5: fumble recovery by Jalen Carter. Familiar name at this point
- 2:34Speaker 5: of the season. I still like where the spoon over
- 2:36Speaker 5: Jalen Carter, but it was interesting seeing him make a
- 2:40Speaker 5: big play there.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Yeah, we're gonna talk about Jayleen Carter a little bit
- 2:43Speaker 4: just throughout the week, I'm sure, just because of all
- 2:45Speaker 4: the everyone kind of want Jail Carter to.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Be a Seawk.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Obviously, Devin with thespoon has gone above and beyond, and
- 2:51Speaker 4: that is not a conversation at all. Nobody and hear
- 2:53Speaker 4: we want to say that is suggesting that at all,
- 2:55Speaker 4: because we know good Witherspoon is, but Carter is a
- 2:58Speaker 4: guy that a lot of people from Seattle spent a
- 2:59Speaker 4: lot of time. I'm looking up, so it'll be interesting
- 3:02Speaker 4: to watch him. I'm with you, Bump.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I hope that he still can get Rookie of the Year.
- 3:07Speaker 4: But you know it's a it's an East Coast by
- 3:09Speaker 4: his thing, right, guy plays in Philly, plays for the Eagles.
- 3:11Speaker 4: I don't know it's gonna be hard, but uh, the
- 3:14Speaker 4: rest of that game, Bump, it was close, Well it
- 3:18Speaker 4: wasn't close, excuse me. Uh, it was close in total
- 3:21Speaker 4: yards and stuff like that, But the biggest difference is turnovers.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Eagles turn the ball for three times, Cowboys just once.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Dak two seventy one two touchdown, Ceedee Lamb seventy one
- 3:30Speaker 4: yards a touchdown, and then Jalen Hurts he was okay
- 3:34Speaker 4: eighteen twenty seven, one hundred and ninety seven yards, no touchdowns,
- 3:37Speaker 4: no interceptions, but did fumble once. So, Bump, I don't know,
- 3:42Speaker 4: when you look at that game, does that give you
- 3:43Speaker 4: confidence for the Seahawks.
- 3:45Speaker 6: Yeah, I do.
- 3:46Speaker 5: I look at that game, and you see that the
- 3:49Speaker 5: Eagles aren't firing all cylinders right now. Now, they still
- 3:52Speaker 5: hold a lot of potential, right You still see Jalen
- 3:55Speaker 5: and A J. We're gonna talk about those guys. But
- 3:58Speaker 5: after looking at the last two weeks, you played two
- 4:00Speaker 5: common opponents, right, they played the Niners and the Cowboys,
- 4:02Speaker 5: and the Hawks played the Niners and the Cowboys, and
- 4:05Speaker 5: they played the Cowboys tough, and they played the Niners
- 4:07Speaker 5: tougher than what the numbers tell you. There are times
- 4:09Speaker 5: where these guys could have taken over. But no, man,
- 4:12Speaker 5: I'm excited about this. Let's get into some numbers in
- 4:15Speaker 5: this matchup, though they head to head. I'll talk about
- 4:17Speaker 5: the offense.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Right.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Offensively, the Eagles are ring number eighth overall, their eighth.
- 4:21Speaker 5: When it comes to running the ball, they average one
- 4:23Speaker 5: hundred and twenty four yards in the ground. They're thirteenth
- 4:25Speaker 5: when it comes to passing the ball, they average two
- 4:27Speaker 5: hundred and thirty four yards in the ground, and they're
- 4:29Speaker 5: six when it comes to points per game, they're averaging
- 4:32Speaker 5: about twenty six per game. Now on the Hawks side,
- 4:34Speaker 5: the twentieth overall, twenty eighth rushing, fifteenth passing, and seventeenth
- 4:39Speaker 5: when it comes to points. Once again, it's not a
- 4:41Speaker 5: surprise you look at the offensive numbers and the team
- 4:44Speaker 5: they're playing.
- 4:45Speaker 6: This week has the advantage.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Yeah, they look good on offense.
- 4:49Speaker 4: You know all the weapons that were about to get
- 4:51Speaker 4: into and man up there. They're very talented. They want
- 4:54Speaker 4: to see bowth for reasons. Santorini's guys boys playing well.
- 4:57Speaker 4: But then you look at this defense, Bo, You look
- 5:01Speaker 4: at this defense and it makes me feel good.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Not because the Seahawks.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Are twenty eighth in the NFL, or because they're twenty
- 5:06Speaker 4: third in run defense, or twenty fifth against the pass,
- 5:08Speaker 4: or twenty seven the points allowed.
- 5:10Speaker 6: It's about the Eagles.
- 5:11Speaker 4: If you're looking for a way to find something to
- 5:14Speaker 4: be positive about, this is what I'm talking about. This
- 5:16Speaker 4: is one of those moments to pay attention the Eagles.
- 5:19Speaker 4: They're ten or three on the season, went to Super
- 5:20Speaker 4: last year. They're a great team total defense. This year
- 5:23Speaker 4: they're twenty seconds, nothing to write home about. Give up
- 5:25Speaker 4: three hundred and fifty three yards per game. They're six
- 5:27Speaker 4: against the run, which is pretty damn good. But we'll
- 5:29Speaker 4: get into that later as there might be a little
- 5:32Speaker 4: creaking that pass defense are twenty eighth. They're giving up
- 5:35Speaker 4: almost two hundred and sixt yards per game and points allowed.
- 5:37Speaker 4: They are also twenty eighth giving up twenty four points
- 5:40Speaker 4: per game. So I look at those numbers and I go,
- 5:43Speaker 4: that's not the San Francisco forty nine ers. That's not
- 5:46Speaker 4: the Dallas Cowboys. That's not the Baltimore Ravens, that's not
- 5:49Speaker 4: the Cleveland Browns. Those aren't teams that this Seahawks team
- 5:52Speaker 4: has been facing week after a week after a week
- 5:54Speaker 4: after a week. And I'm not saying the Eagles are bad.
- 5:56Speaker 4: They got a lot of talent on that side of
- 5:58Speaker 4: the ball. But if you're looking for a play sixploit
- 6:00Speaker 4: them and a place where I really do feel like
- 6:02Speaker 4: the Seahawks, if they do what they're supposed to, you
- 6:03Speaker 4: can have an advantage.
- 6:04Speaker 1: It's against that defense.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I look at the defense and I go, look
- 6:08Speaker 5: there's some holes over there. Man.
- 6:09Speaker 6: They're not great.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Against the pass, They're pretty good against the run, right
- 6:13Speaker 5: number six.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Overall, they give up a lot of points.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Twenty eighth overall when it comes to points, the Hawks
- 6:19Speaker 5: are twenty seven. So I look at the way this
- 6:21Speaker 5: offense has been performing with two different quarterbacks. We look
- 6:23Speaker 5: at Drew lock In the work that he did last
- 6:25Speaker 5: week against the Niners. Pretty good job there. You look
- 6:27Speaker 5: at Gino the week before against the Cowboys, he did
- 6:31Speaker 5: his thing.
- 6:31Speaker 6: So we're expecting to see Gino.
- 6:33Speaker 5: I throw that out there, But if you don't see Gino,
- 6:36Speaker 5: Drew Lock has shown that he can do enough against
- 6:39Speaker 5: a good defense last week to keep a team in
- 6:42Speaker 5: the game. So I would be optimistic if he were
- 6:44Speaker 5: the start of going into this week.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Yeah, no question. I think I totally agree with one
- 6:48Speaker 4: hundred percent. This team can exploit some matchups. What does
- 6:51Speaker 4: matter who's playing quarterback. And the last thing I'll say
- 6:53Speaker 4: about the head the head is the Eagles are minus
- 6:55Speaker 4: four Seahawks or plus one and comes to turnover differential.
- 6:59Speaker 4: So the Eagles again you think for me, I think
- 7:01Speaker 4: of a super team. I think they would be so
- 7:03Speaker 4: much farther than that. They're tied for twenty first in
- 7:05Speaker 4: turnover defrenial, So another thing to keep your eye out on.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Another thing we should talk.
- 7:10Speaker 4: About is the history between these two ball clubs, which
- 7:13Speaker 4: had really favored the Seahawks the last couple of years.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Let's know the history, No, your history, Seahawks League all
- 7:20Speaker 4: time series eleven to seven during the regular season and
- 7:23Speaker 4: one to zero in the postseason. But the Seahawks have
- 7:26Speaker 4: won the last seven games including the playoffs. So I
- 7:29Speaker 4: like that last time these two teams linked up, it
- 7:31Speaker 4: was during the twenty twenty COVID season, Seahawks beating the
- 7:34Speaker 4: Eagles twenty three to seventeen, and the game really wasn't
- 7:37Speaker 4: as close to the final score. The Seahawks never trailed
- 7:39Speaker 4: in that game. They jumped out to a fourteen tonh
- 7:41Speaker 4: in league. Then they were up twenty three nine only
- 7:43Speaker 4: in the fourth quarter Eagles man just scored garbage time
- 7:46Speaker 4: touchdown and make it twenty three to seventeen. But the
- 7:48Speaker 4: game wasn't that close. And I remember DK Steele on
- 7:51Speaker 4: the show. He had ten receptions one hundred and seventy
- 7:53Speaker 4: seven yards and now it's his career high in yardage.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Also the third most receptions he's had in his career.
- 7:58Speaker 4: And I remember that game. I remember we were doing
- 8:00Speaker 4: the postgame show and we talked about it because I
- 8:02Speaker 4: feel like he had a couple of drops in that game.
- 8:04Speaker 4: He could have gone for two fifty or something insane,
- 8:08Speaker 4: but he bawled out. Chris Carson a decent day metcalf
- 8:12Speaker 4: against the Eagles. In the history, he's got two games.
- 8:14Speaker 4: He played three games against the Eagles and two of
- 8:16Speaker 4: those he's gone well over one hundred yards. So let
- 8:18Speaker 4: seeing that our guy kJ Wright had a nice day
- 8:20Speaker 4: of five tackles, one sack, two TfL's, one pass defended,
- 8:24Speaker 4: and one QB hit. And then the Hawks really got
- 8:27Speaker 4: after Carson wentz. This is kind of the beginning of
- 8:29Speaker 4: the end for Carson in Philly. He went twenty five
- 8:31Speaker 4: or forty five, two fifteen, two touchdowns, one I in
- 8:34Speaker 4: t and sacked six times. So Seahawks are hoping to
- 8:37Speaker 4: keep the good times rolling against the Eagles this Monday night.
- 8:41Speaker 4: But let's check in with the rest of the division.
- 8:43Speaker 4: What's the word?
- 8:46Speaker 5: What side.
- 8:49Speaker 6: The Seahawks or the NFC West champs?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Again, what's the word in the West? On Hawk talk?
- 8:57Speaker 5: All right, let's take a look at the NFC West.
- 9:00Speaker 5: So far, the San Francisco forty nine ers lead the charge.
- 9:03Speaker 5: There are at ten to three. The Rams have been
- 9:05Speaker 5: playing some good ball as of late. We'll talk about that.
- 9:07Speaker 5: They are six and seven. New York Seattle Seahawks are
- 9:10Speaker 5: six and seven, and at the bottom we got the
- 9:12Speaker 5: Cardinals at three and ten. But let's focus on the
- 9:14Speaker 5: Rams for a little bit. Man, The best thing that
- 9:16Speaker 5: happened for the Seahowks. Last weekend was the game between
- 9:19Speaker 5: the Rams and the Ravens. We need the Rams to
- 9:23Speaker 5: lose as many games as possible because they hold the
- 9:25Speaker 5: tiebreaker when it comes to getting into the playoffs, So
- 9:28Speaker 5: it's going to be a tight race, all right.
- 9:30Speaker 6: It was a while back and forth game.
- 9:32Speaker 5: We saw the Rams kick a game tying field go
- 9:34Speaker 5: at the end of regulation, making to score thirty one
- 9:36Speaker 5: to thirty one, and they forced overtime. In overtime, the
- 9:39Speaker 5: Rams forced the Ravens to punt on the opening possessions.
- 9:42Speaker 5: The Ravens would then return the favor by forcing the
- 9:46Speaker 5: Rams to punt. But on the pump return, we saw
- 9:48Speaker 5: something we don't see very much in the NFL anymore.
- 9:51Speaker 5: We had missed the Wallace take the punt back seventy
- 9:53Speaker 5: six shards for the game winning touchdown. Wallace became the
- 9:56Speaker 5: fourth player in NFL history to score touchdown on a
- 9:59Speaker 5: punt return. And oh t was a Deshaun Jackson against
- 10:03Speaker 5: the Giants punt was that?
- 10:04Speaker 6: Was that?
- 10:04Speaker 3: Just?
- 10:05Speaker 4: I think that sealed the game. Now, I think that
- 10:07Speaker 4: was the end of the fourth quarter. I think it
- 10:08Speaker 4: was like twenty second stuff in the game. Yeah, when
- 10:10Speaker 4: I think a game winning returns.
- 10:12Speaker 5: That's where my mind goes to one of the gings
- 10:14Speaker 5: to do it, Toshaun Jackson. It was not the game
- 10:18Speaker 5: we expected. We thought the Ravens were gonna get her done.
- 10:20Speaker 5: You saw what they did to the Seattle Seahawks, right,
- 10:22Speaker 5: but uh Lamar Jackson was twenty four or forty three
- 10:25Speaker 5: for three hundred and sixteen yards and three touchdowns one interception.
- 10:29Speaker 5: He also had seventy yards on eleven carries. You got
- 10:32Speaker 5: obj Isaiah Likely and Jay Flowers each caught touchdowns. But
- 10:35Speaker 5: the Rams you had Matthew Stafford, who does what he does.
- 10:37Speaker 5: He was twenty three or forty one for two hundred
- 10:39Speaker 5: and ninety four yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. And
- 10:42Speaker 5: the young running back from Notre Dame over there, Cabrin Williams,
- 10:45Speaker 5: had one hundred and fourteen yards on twenty five carries.
- 10:47Speaker 5: Cooper Cup led all receivers with one hundred and fifteen
- 10:49Speaker 5: yards and eight receptions and one touchdowns. Of the Rams
- 10:53Speaker 5: in the season with the Commanders, Saints, Giants, Niners, I
- 10:58Speaker 5: see at least one loss in there. If I can
- 11:00Speaker 5: pick another one, I can lean towards the Commanders because
- 11:04Speaker 5: you never know what Sam Howell, and then you got
- 11:06Speaker 5: Tommy Davito over there for the.
- 11:08Speaker 6: Shaking things up.
- 11:09Speaker 5: So Nas, I might see three You might call me crazy,
- 11:12Speaker 5: but I see three losses over there.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Possibly they're losing to the forty nine ers, even if
- 11:16Speaker 4: the Niners rest players at the end of the year.
- 11:18Speaker 4: But with the Niners, Cowboys, Eagles all fighting for that
- 11:21Speaker 4: one seed, I don't think they'll have the opportunity to
- 11:23Speaker 4: do that.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:24Speaker 4: The Commanders, like you said, you never know. We've we've
- 11:26Speaker 4: played that team. They can they can come up and
- 11:28Speaker 4: get you if they want to play good football. The
- 11:30Speaker 4: Saints you never know either. They came there up and down.
- 11:33Speaker 4: And the Giants to Vito, Man, you just helped us
- 11:35Speaker 4: out beating the Packers. I mean, he's out there, they're
- 11:39Speaker 4: handing out cutlets. You know, he's living at his mom's house.
- 11:41Speaker 4: His agent looks like he's out of a movie or something.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Some real New York stuff right there. But no, I
- 11:46Speaker 4: feel good about it. And here's the thing, se Yawk fans,
- 11:48Speaker 4: we gotta be scoreboard watching from here on out, So
- 11:52Speaker 4: we're rooting against just so we're all clear, everybody essentially
- 11:55Speaker 4: rooting against everyone in the NFC. But we're rooting against
- 11:57Speaker 4: the Vikings, We're rooting against the Rams, We're rooting against
- 12:01Speaker 4: everyone in the NFC South. So just be scoreboard watching.
- 12:04Speaker 4: We'll keep you, you know, we'll keep you in check
- 12:05Speaker 4: on everything you need to know about that. But that's
- 12:08Speaker 4: the word in the West. Let's flip it back to
- 12:10Speaker 4: the team Seahawks are playing, these Philadelphia Eagles.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Man up, man up on Hawk Talk.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Bump.
- 12:25Speaker 4: I'll let you get into Jalen Hurts here in a second,
- 12:27Speaker 4: but I wanted to share some interesting things that I
- 12:29Speaker 4: found about this Eagles team.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I've been grinding the numbers.
- 12:33Speaker 4: I've been in the lab trying to find any advantage
- 12:35Speaker 4: I think the Seahawks fans could have beyond the naked
- 12:38Speaker 4: eye that we've seen the last.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Couple of weeks.
- 12:40Speaker 4: So here's a couple of things that sit out to me.
- 12:42Speaker 4: First Off, there's only five teams with the winning records
- 12:45Speaker 4: in the NFC. That's why it's way like anyway. So
- 12:49Speaker 4: of those five teams, you got San Fran, Dallas, Detroit, Minnesota,
- 12:53Speaker 4: and Philly. Of those teams, Philly has the worst point differential.
- 12:58Speaker 4: You got San Fran one hundred plus one, seventy five
- 13:01Speaker 4: Dallas plus one, eighty eight Detroit plus twenty six, Minnesota
- 13:04Speaker 4: plus twenty four Philly only plus twenty one.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Okay, well what does that mean.
- 13:09Speaker 4: What that means is they got the sixth best scoring
- 13:11Speaker 4: offense but the twenty eighth best scoring defense at twenty
- 13:15Speaker 4: four points per game.
- 13:15Speaker 1: That means they play close games.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Of their ten wins, only three of them, but it's
- 13:21Speaker 4: been decided by more than a score. So that tells
- 13:24Speaker 4: you they're not just out here blowing people out. They
- 13:27Speaker 4: play close games. And even they've had trouble with the Commanders,
- 13:30Speaker 4: they've had trouble with teams that other people would perceive
- 13:33Speaker 4: is not very good. They've also trailed at halftime in
- 13:36Speaker 4: the last six games. And this is what really shocked me, Bump.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I had to check this about four or five times
- 13:41Speaker 4: because I thought I was crazy. Philly is the worst
- 13:44Speaker 4: in the NFL on third down. Opponents are converting forty
- 13:48Speaker 4: eight percent of the time.
- 13:51Speaker 1: That's here.
- 13:52Speaker 4: I mean at that point, I don't have lost rewards.
- 13:56Speaker 4: I mean the Seahawks have struggled on third down, and
- 13:57Speaker 4: the Seahawks are better than that. And then also when
- 13:59Speaker 4: you get in the red zone, against the Eagles, you
- 14:02Speaker 4: are scoring seventy percent of the times. Not just scoring,
- 14:05Speaker 4: you're scoring touchdowns seventy percent of the time. That's the
- 14:08Speaker 4: third worst in the NFL. So that's what I'm talking about,
- 14:11Speaker 4: Seahawk fans. If you're looking for something to hang your
- 14:14Speaker 4: hat on, it's some of those numbers. I just dropped
- 14:15Speaker 4: there because I truly think these are some of the
- 14:17Speaker 4: ways the Seahawks can get this done.
- 14:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:21Speaker 5: I saw all these stats, and I go, are we
- 14:24Speaker 5: just being brainwashed by the media? Is the media making
- 14:27Speaker 5: us believe that Philly is better than what they are now?
- 14:31Speaker 6: Ten and three? Respect But there's some holes in.
- 14:34Speaker 1: The game, man.
- 14:35Speaker 5: But let's talk about a guy who doesn't really have
- 14:37Speaker 5: holes in his game because all he does is win.
- 14:39Speaker 6: It's Jalen Hurst. That's the first matchup.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Now, this guy, when the Eagles have him in the
- 14:45Speaker 5: regular season in their lineup, they are twenty four and four,
- 14:48Speaker 5: all right, he has a winning percentage of zero point
- 14:50Speaker 5: seventy four to four. That's about seventy four percent.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Man.
- 14:54Speaker 5: He is up thirty two and eleven since twenty twenty one.
- 14:57Speaker 5: He's that's the best amongst qbs in that spam twenty
- 15:01Speaker 5: twenty two was a great year for the Eagles and
- 15:04Speaker 5: really this guy Jalen Hurts. He finished second in MVP voting,
- 15:07Speaker 5: third in Offensive Player of the Year voting. He was
- 15:09Speaker 5: a Pro Bowler in a two time All Pro QB
- 15:13Speaker 5: not to mention, help lead the Eagles to the Super Bowl,
- 15:15Speaker 5: they lost a close one to the Chief Stone.
- 15:17Speaker 6: He's continued to play well this year.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Right He's two hundred and eighty six for four to
- 15:22Speaker 5: thirty thirty one hundred and ninety two yards. His completion
- 15:25Speaker 5: percentage is sixty six point five yes, nineteen touchdowns, ten interceptions,
- 15:29Speaker 5: and we all know he can carry the rock one
- 15:31Speaker 5: hundred and twenty six carries for four hundred and sixty
- 15:34Speaker 5: yards and twelve touchdowns. Jalen is a special type of player,
- 15:41Speaker 5: and he's even a better leader. There's not too many
- 15:43Speaker 5: guys where I hear them talk, I kind of lock
- 15:45Speaker 5: in and be like, I'm hanging off of everything he's saying.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Jalen kind of has that presence man amongst all the
- 15:51Speaker 5: other other quarterbacks in the league. He's twelfth and completion
- 15:53Speaker 5: percent is tenth and yards twelfeen yards per game, ninth
- 15:56Speaker 5: in QB rating. Ninth in QBR and tied for second
- 16:00Speaker 5: in rushing touchdowns Jalen. He's also second in NFL with
- 16:03Speaker 5: thirty one total chutsounds, only trailing Josh Allen. I feel
- 16:07Speaker 5: like this is like the new quarterback mans. If you
- 16:09Speaker 5: ain't mobile, you're gonna stand a chance in this league.
- 16:12Speaker 5: Even Sam Howell is mobile, even Tommy DeVito is mobile.
- 16:17Speaker 5: There's not too many guys who are just gonna stand it.
- 16:19Speaker 5: Even Justin Herbert is mobile. But when it comes to
- 16:24Speaker 5: really getting done, he might be the best of the
- 16:26Speaker 5: game right now.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Him and Lamar, Yeah, I mean I wasn't sure. I've
- 16:31Speaker 4: always liked Jalen Hurts. I like Jaaling Hurts Alabama, how
- 16:34Speaker 4: he handled everything with Tua Tony Bailoa. I liked him
- 16:37Speaker 4: at Oklahoma. I liked him when the Eagles took a
- 16:39Speaker 4: shot on him. And everyone's kind of like, I don't
- 16:40Speaker 4: know if this guy's got it. I think they went
- 16:43Speaker 4: to the Wildcard playoffs and lost to Tom Brady that
- 16:45Speaker 4: first year, and then he's figured it out since then.
- 16:47Speaker 4: So I've always been rooting for him and he shows up.
- 16:49Speaker 4: I mean, he does it on the field, and the
- 16:52Speaker 4: numbers don't lie you know what I mean. It's another
- 16:54Speaker 4: year where he's gonna be in the MVP vote. He's
- 16:56Speaker 4: gonna be right up in that conversation, and it'll be
- 16:59Speaker 4: really decided the last couple weeks how we respond the
- 17:00Speaker 4: next couple of games. So wish him the best of luck.
- 17:03Speaker 4: Not this weekend, not this Monday night. I'll tell you
- 17:05Speaker 4: that this week I root for him, and I I
- 17:09Speaker 4: hope the Seahawks can figure it out defensively because they
- 17:11Speaker 4: struggled as of late. Gave up five hundred and twenty
- 17:13Speaker 4: seven yards to the forty nine ers, which is the
- 17:15Speaker 4: most yards allowed since Week twelve last year against the Raiders.
- 17:18Speaker 1: The Hawks are.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Won and for this season in games where they allowed
- 17:21Speaker 4: more than four hundred yards twenty eighth and total defense
- 17:24Speaker 4: twenty fifth against the pass. So Seahawks are gonna have
- 17:27Speaker 4: their work cutout form Jaalen Hurts is a great quarterback,
- 17:30Speaker 4: but you know, if they stay fundamental and do things
- 17:33Speaker 4: that they know they can do, I think they can
- 17:34Speaker 4: slow him down. Looking at our quarterbacks, Gino Smith Drew
- 17:38Speaker 4: Locke taking on this Eagles defense. We know Gino missed
- 17:41Speaker 4: last week. He's been the starter, you know, for a
- 17:44Speaker 4: year and some change. Gino didn't miss a snap at
- 17:47Speaker 4: all last season, which just is something that we were
- 17:50Speaker 4: kind of spoiled by, even with Russ here, all those
- 17:52Speaker 4: years of guys not getting hurt, and it's hard to
- 17:55Speaker 4: be that durable the NFL.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Things happened.
- 17:57Speaker 4: He tweaked his me at some point this year, he
- 17:59Speaker 4: got hit on the l and then finally with the groin,
- 18:01Speaker 4: he just wasn't.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Able to do it.
- 18:03Speaker 4: And I keep hearing stuff. Sorry, I just slight tangent here.
- 18:07Speaker 4: I've been hearing all week stuff, all these conspiracy theories.
- 18:11Speaker 4: What are you talking about? Geno Smith heard his groin,
- 18:14Speaker 4: that's why he didn't play. It just I've heard some
- 18:18Speaker 4: really bad takes. Bump, I'm sorry, man. Anyway, Gino hurd
- 18:22Speaker 4: his groin. There's no conspiracy theory. He heard his groin.
- 18:24Speaker 4: He's busting his you know what, to get back and
- 18:26Speaker 4: play this week. But that's why he didn't play against
- 18:29Speaker 4: the forty nine ers Drew Locke. He played, He did
- 18:32Speaker 4: some good things, did some bad things. You know, it's
- 18:34Speaker 4: a really tough task to play against a team like that.
- 18:37Speaker 4: You know, he got a couple of gays of practice,
- 18:39Speaker 4: getting number one reps, but that's a hard team to
- 18:41Speaker 4: get thrown into. He was twenty two of thirty one
- 18:44Speaker 4: two sixty nine two touchdowns, also through two interceptions with
- 18:47Speaker 4: sack four times. We know Gino Smith can do, we
- 18:50Speaker 4: know where he's at. His numbers are slightly down from
- 18:52Speaker 4: twenty twenty two, but you know he's We've seen what
- 18:56Speaker 4: he can do. He's really disappointed to see this injury
- 18:58Speaker 4: pop up, especially how Gino played against the Cowboys. So
- 19:01Speaker 4: assuming Gino can get a you know, an extra day
- 19:03Speaker 4: to rest, I'm really hoping he's back in the lineup.
- 19:06Speaker 4: And like we alluded to earlier, it's great because the
- 19:09Speaker 4: Seahawks aren't facing an elite defense.
- 19:11Speaker 1: They're facing a defense that is below average.
- 19:13Speaker 4: If you took the Eagles off their name, you would
- 19:15Speaker 4: say bad things about this defense, but it is what
- 19:18Speaker 4: it is. Twenty second total defense, twenty eighth against the
- 19:21Speaker 4: past six against a run, twenty eighth in points allowed,
- 19:23Speaker 4: twelve with sack.
- 19:24Speaker 1: So I'm really rooting for Gino.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Obviously, I think the Seahawks can win with either quarterback,
- 19:27Speaker 4: but I have a good feeling that Gino is going
- 19:29Speaker 4: to be back, and if he is back, you know,
- 19:31Speaker 4: he can really attack this Eagles defense.
- 19:34Speaker 6: Yeah, looking forward to Gino. Hope he's ready to go.
- 19:37Speaker 5: A matchup that I think deserves more respect than its
- 19:41Speaker 5: probably gonna get is DeAndre Swift against the Seahawks front seven.
- 19:45Speaker 5: My man is his first year with the Eagles, and
- 19:48Speaker 5: he's balling.
- 19:49Speaker 6: He's from the area and went to high school. I'm
- 19:51Speaker 6: in the area.
- 19:51Speaker 5: Back in twenty sixteen, he's forty yards away from setting
- 19:53Speaker 5: a career high with yards from scrimmage. Now he's already
- 19:57Speaker 5: got a career high in rushing eight hundred.
- 19:58Speaker 6: And eighty two.
- 19:59Speaker 5: The previous high I was six hundred and seventeen back
- 20:01Speaker 5: in twenty twenty one. He is a player that is
- 20:07Speaker 5: explosive and violent with his shifts, like there's some running
- 20:11Speaker 5: backsho are smooth.
- 20:11Speaker 6: With the way that he runs, He's got a little
- 20:13Speaker 6: bit at in him.
- 20:14Speaker 5: But when he puts his foot in the ground and
- 20:16Speaker 5: he makes that slight move, man, it's violent and it's
- 20:19Speaker 5: fun to watch.
- 20:19Speaker 6: Honestly, I just don't want it to be fun.
- 20:21Speaker 5: This week, he's one of only six NFL running backs
- 20:24Speaker 5: to produce eight hundred and seventy five plus scrimmage yards
- 20:26Speaker 5: and seven plus touchdowns in each of his last three seasons.
- 20:30Speaker 5: I'm talking about Nick Chubb did it, Zekiel Elliott did it,
- 20:33Speaker 5: Derek Henry has done it, Josh Jacobs, Aaron Jones, all greats.
- 20:36Speaker 6: Right.
- 20:37Speaker 5: Like I mentioned this season eight hundred and twenty two yards,
- 20:39Speaker 5: four touchdowns, but he also has thirty six receptions for
- 20:41Speaker 5: two hundred and eight yards in one touchdown. The last
- 20:45Speaker 5: three games, the Seahawks have allowed an average of one
- 20:47Speaker 5: hundred and fifty nine yards per game on the ground.
- 20:50Speaker 5: It doesn't help that two of the last three of
- 20:51Speaker 5: the games came against the forty nine ers. Best running
- 20:54Speaker 5: back in the game statistically is on that team, and
- 20:56Speaker 5: he's on the league's third rushing offense.
- 20:59Speaker 6: So yes, they're giving up a bunch of yards.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Yes you're going up again, Swift, but the last three
- 21:05Speaker 5: games can kind of those numbers are skewed a little bit.
- 21:07Speaker 5: I'm not saying that DeAndre Swift isn't capable of going
- 21:10Speaker 5: off and half of the day.
- 21:11Speaker 6: I'm just saying he ain't Christian McCaffrey.
- 21:13Speaker 5: Yes, he's special, he's having a career year, but he
- 21:16Speaker 5: can be contained for a game or two.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Yeah, he's uh. We knew he was good in Detroit
- 21:21Speaker 4: for sure, but he was always kind of splitting carries.
- 21:24Speaker 4: He was never really the guy in Detroit. So it's
- 21:26Speaker 4: interesting to see him get those kind of carries. And
- 21:29Speaker 4: he's on a team with a quarterback that runs the
- 21:31Speaker 4: ball a ton, so that's even more carries you know
- 21:34Speaker 4: he's not getting, but so interesting to see what he
- 21:36Speaker 4: can do. He's obviously playing really good football. Now when
- 21:39Speaker 4: you flip it over to the receiver corps man doesn't
- 21:43Speaker 4: get any easier for the Seahawks. You were just messing
- 21:45Speaker 4: around with Deebo and Ayuk and the guys that they
- 21:47Speaker 4: got over there. Now you got aj Brown and DeVonta Smith.
- 21:51Speaker 4: They're really good. AJ Brown, former teammate of DK Metcalf
- 21:54Speaker 4: over there at Old Miss, picked up Bright left off
- 21:56Speaker 4: last year twenty twenty two, he said career highs and
- 22:00Speaker 4: yards and touchdowns, and he's right back on pace be
- 22:03Speaker 4: doing that again last year. He's second team All Pro
- 22:05Speaker 4: and a Pro Bowler for the second time. This season,
- 22:08Speaker 4: he's got one thousand, two hundred and fifty eight receiving yards,
- 22:10Speaker 4: which is second in the NFL, only behind Tyreek Hill,
- 22:13Speaker 4: who's having an unbelievable season. He's also fifth in the
- 22:16Speaker 4: league when it comes to receptions, only player in Eagles
- 22:19Speaker 4: history to have twelve hundred yards in back to back seasons,
- 22:22Speaker 4: which is saying a lot a lot of guys who
- 22:23Speaker 4: played there, including the guys like too and whatnot. So
- 22:26Speaker 4: on the year, he's having a good season. Now next
- 22:29Speaker 4: to him, he got Davonta Smith, the former Heisman Trophy
- 22:32Speaker 4: winner from twenty twenty one tenth overall pick. He was
- 22:35Speaker 4: the first receiver to win the Heisman since Desmond Howard
- 22:37Speaker 4: in nineteen ninety one when he won it. He's six foot,
- 22:41Speaker 4: one hundred and seventy five pounds. Yeah right, I don't
- 22:44Speaker 4: believe that for a minute, but that's what the roster says.
- 22:47Speaker 4: So that's what I've read to y'all. But he's been
- 22:50Speaker 4: nothing but productive too, three thousand yards in just forty
- 22:53Speaker 4: seven games in his career, ninety three yards shive his
- 22:56Speaker 4: second straight one thousand yard season dating back to Week eight.
- 22:59Speaker 4: He rakes eighth in the NFL with a team leading
- 23:01Speaker 4: five hundred and twenty four yards in four touchdowns. So
- 23:03Speaker 4: on the air, nine hundred and seven yards six touchdowns
- 23:06Speaker 4: on sixty nine receptions.
- 23:08Speaker 1: So we'll see. I'm really hoping Devin Withers, who was back.
- 23:11Speaker 4: It seems like throughout the week that's what we're hearing
- 23:13Speaker 4: that he's gonna be a lot closer to playing. He's
- 23:15Speaker 4: third in the NFL with sixteen passes defended, only one
- 23:18Speaker 4: game where he doesn't have one of those. Like I said,
- 23:20Speaker 4: I'll be bounce back from a hit pointer because the
- 23:22Speaker 4: Seahawks really need him, and I feel like it changed
- 23:24Speaker 4: when he was not in the ballgame. So between him,
- 23:27Speaker 4: Trey Brown, Rik Willing, they're gonna have their hands full
- 23:29Speaker 4: and they got to keep guys in front of them
- 23:31Speaker 4: playing it.
- 23:31Speaker 6: Simple fundamental defense is what I'm looking for.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Let's talk about our receivers though, but you got DK,
- 23:37Speaker 5: Tyler Lockin and JSN against this secondary man. This should
- 23:42Speaker 5: be in the seahawks favor, honestly, especially when you see
- 23:45Speaker 5: what DK's done the last five games. In the last
- 23:47Speaker 5: five games, he's got twenty three receptions four hundred and
- 23:50Speaker 5: ten yards in five touchdown touchdowns. He's also caught a
- 23:53Speaker 5: touchdown in three of the last four games. The last
- 23:57Speaker 5: time DK lined up against Eagles, we remember that ten
- 24:00Speaker 5: receptions one hundred and seventy seven yards. That's his career
- 24:03Speaker 5: high in the third most receptions he's had in his career.
- 24:06Speaker 5: Met has gone over one hundred yards two of the
- 24:08Speaker 5: last three games, so he's in a nice little groove
- 24:10Speaker 5: right now. He's thirty six yards to become the third
- 24:12Speaker 5: player in NFL history to reach fifty receptions, nine hundred
- 24:14Speaker 5: yards and five touchdowns in each of his first five seasons.
- 24:19Speaker 6: Who were talking about Randy Moss and AJ Green. That's nuts.
- 24:23Speaker 5: He also needs one hundred and thirty six ytards for
- 24:25Speaker 5: back to back a thousand yard seasons and almost guaranteed
- 24:28Speaker 5: he's going to get that on the year fifty one receptions,
- 24:30Speaker 5: eight hundred and sixty four yards and seven touchdowns.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Tyler Lockett's come off a good game.
- 24:35Speaker 5: He was the most consistent receiver we had last game,
- 24:37Speaker 5: six receptions for eighty nine yards, including two big third
- 24:41Speaker 5: down conversions the only third down conversions to Hogs had
- 24:44Speaker 5: last game. You know, it's count on Tyler Lockett. He's
- 24:48Speaker 5: on the verge of history too, man, and he doesn't
- 24:50Speaker 5: have to do anything crazy to accomplish that. He needs
- 24:52Speaker 5: two receptions to become the second player in franchise history
- 24:55Speaker 5: and ninety fourth player in NFL history.
- 24:57Speaker 6: To reach six hundred career receptions.
- 24:59Speaker 5: He needs one touchdown the pass Kurt Warner on fourth
- 25:01Speaker 5: place on Seattle's all touchdown list with sixty three, and
- 25:04Speaker 5: he needs one one hundred yard game to tye Daryl
- 25:06Speaker 5: Jackson for second place for the most one hundred yard
- 25:09Speaker 5: games in Seattle history with nineteen. On the year, he's
- 25:12Speaker 5: got sixty five receptions, seven hundred and eleven yards and
- 25:15Speaker 5: four touchdowns. Defending DK and Tyler, you got Darius Slay
- 25:20Speaker 5: who's a baller, and James Bradberry, who we used to
- 25:22Speaker 5: go up against I believe when he was with the Giants.
- 25:26Speaker 6: Slays in his eleventh season, but don't sleep on them.
- 25:29Speaker 5: He's been named the Pro Bowl five times and was
- 25:32Speaker 5: First team All Pro in twenty seventeen. He's got fourteen
- 25:36Speaker 5: passes defended two interceptions in one TfL. Brad Berry on
- 25:40Speaker 5: the other side, he's in his eighth NFL season and
- 25:44Speaker 5: second with Philly, made the Pro Bowl in twenty twenty.
- 25:46Speaker 5: His stats this year eleven passes defended, one interception. Now,
- 25:50Speaker 5: you got those two guys on the back end and
- 25:53Speaker 5: their ballers, but as a team, they're not very good
- 25:56Speaker 5: when it comes to defending the past, So I expect
- 25:58Speaker 5: these guys to have a day Tyler DK JSM ride
- 26:04Speaker 5: the wave of last week and improve on it. Man,
- 26:06Speaker 5: because we saw DK be explosive, we saw Tarlock could
- 26:10Speaker 5: be consistent, and we saw JSN get more involved in
- 26:13Speaker 5: this offense with how they're using them. So I like
- 26:15Speaker 5: where they are when it comes to using their weapons
- 26:18Speaker 5: on the outside.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Yeah, you said it. This is the match of the
- 26:21Speaker 1: Seahawks win.
- 26:22Speaker 4: I wholeheartedly believe that they're playing well at something they
- 26:25Speaker 4: could exploit and yeah, we got to see it happen.
- 26:28Speaker 1: It's make plays, make plays on Monday night.
- 26:31Speaker 4: Now, another matchup we want to camp pass up here
- 26:34Speaker 4: is the Eagles front seven taken on Seahawks running backs.
- 26:36Speaker 1: That's Ken Walker and Zach Sharbonnay.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Now, this is this is an interesting facet of the
- 26:42Speaker 4: game right now because I remember earlier we talked about
- 26:44Speaker 4: the Eagles. They don't have the greatest defensive numbers, but
- 26:47Speaker 4: they stop the run. They're six in the NFL in
- 26:49Speaker 4: that category, in line with just ninety four yards per game.
- 26:52Speaker 4: But when you dive a little deeper into those numbers,
- 26:54Speaker 4: they've really struggled as of late in the last four games,
- 26:57Speaker 4: they've allowed six hundred and twenty five yards rushing. That's
- 27:00Speaker 4: good for one hundred and fifty six yards per game. Okay,
- 27:04Speaker 4: they give one hundred and sixty eight to Kansas City,
- 27:06Speaker 4: one seventy three to Buffalo, one forty six to San Francisco,
- 27:09Speaker 4: one thirty eight to Dallas. So are those good teams, bump, Yes,
- 27:13Speaker 4: they are. But Kansas City, that's not what they do.
- 27:18Speaker 4: They're not known for running the football.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Nope.
- 27:21Speaker 4: Buffalo there, they have decent numbers because their quarterback does well,
- 27:25Speaker 4: but that's not what they do.
- 27:26Speaker 1: San Francisco, yeah, we get it.
- 27:27Speaker 4: We've seen that, been there, we got you on that.
- 27:31Speaker 1: We feel you on that. And then Dallas too.
- 27:34Speaker 4: I mean so, all I'm saying is, again, they stop
- 27:37Speaker 4: the run well, but where they're playing right now as
- 27:39Speaker 4: of today, they aren't stopping the run very well. And
- 27:41Speaker 4: the other weird thing too, is they haven't had one
- 27:43Speaker 4: they haven't allowed one person to go over one hundred
- 27:45Speaker 4: yards yet, so they're getting hurt by committee in these games.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Josh Allen, I mentioned Buffalo, he ran for eighty one
- 27:51Speaker 4: yards against them a couple of weeks ago, and I go, okay,
- 27:53Speaker 4: he had a fifty yard er for sure, you know
- 27:55Speaker 4: what I mean, or something like that, and I go No,
- 27:57Speaker 4: his longest carry was nineteen yards nine for eighty one yards.
- 28:01Speaker 4: So there's something there, there's something to be had. So hey,
- 28:03Speaker 4: I'm hoping Gino's growing is Gucci because there's something that
- 28:06Speaker 4: you can exploit there.
- 28:07Speaker 1: But so they're not.
- 28:09Speaker 4: They're not playing well in the run game as of late,
- 28:13Speaker 4: which makes me come to the Seahawks. The Seahawks haven't
- 28:17Speaker 4: really run the ball well most of this year and
- 28:19Speaker 4: haven't had one hundred yard rushers since the Commanders and
- 28:22Speaker 4: bomb Botles lay it out straight, this is what it is.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Seahawks run for one hundred yard as a team, they're
- 28:28Speaker 4: five and oh. When they don't, they're one in seven.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Interesting when you hear those numbers, what comes to mind? Man,
- 28:35Speaker 4: they're five and oh in the rest of one hundred yards,
- 28:36Speaker 4: not one hundred and fifty, not one hundred and eighty
- 28:38Speaker 4: to one hundred yards, and they're one and seven when
- 28:40Speaker 4: they don't.
- 28:42Speaker 5: I hear that number, it tells me that one Geno
- 28:45Speaker 5: is one of the best in the game. It comes
- 28:46Speaker 5: to play action. Yep, he is the most accurate when
- 28:49Speaker 5: he can fake the football to the running backs and
- 28:53Speaker 5: let it go. Also, what that does is those linebackers
- 28:56Speaker 5: bite up when you are running the full ball. Effectively,
- 28:58Speaker 5: they respect the run. They bite up lanes open on
- 29:00Speaker 5: the back end. So what that means to me is
- 29:03Speaker 5: that you are gonna have to challenge this team. I
- 29:07Speaker 5: know they are good against the run. They are actually
- 29:11Speaker 5: number six against the rum, allowing ninety four.
- 29:14Speaker 6: Yards per game.
- 29:15Speaker 5: All right, get them six six sixty ten yards over
- 29:17Speaker 5: their average and you get to go. So I think
- 29:20Speaker 5: that there's another nugget. That's right. They're not good in
- 29:23Speaker 5: the red zone. Their third down defensive suspect, their point
- 29:27Speaker 5: differential is bad. And all the Hawks have to do
- 29:30Speaker 5: is rush for one hundred yards by the being balla boom,
- 29:33Speaker 5: big ups the time of de Vito and we got this.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Hey, perfect transition.
- 29:37Speaker 4: Let's tell Mark win this game, patter victory.
- 29:41Speaker 2: After forty five waits for the snat, Michael Vickton puts
- 29:45Speaker 2: it down.
- 29:45Speaker 1: That kick is away. If that kick is.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Good, good, say off when it's good.
- 29:51Speaker 1: It's a path to victory on Hawk Talk.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Well, I'm just started getting you guys right of how
- 29:55Speaker 4: the gonna win this game? This is game four or
- 29:58Speaker 4: four of this gonglet for the Seahawks, and the Seahawks
- 30:00Speaker 4: are essentially in playoff mode right now. I think it
- 30:02Speaker 4: starts Monday night. If they lose on Monday, they are
- 30:05Speaker 4: not eliminated for the playoffs. So I want to make
- 30:06Speaker 4: that very clear. But things just get really hard because
- 30:10Speaker 4: number one, this is an NFC game. The Seahawks only
- 30:12Speaker 4: have two games against the NFC the rest of the way.
- 30:14Speaker 4: So the second tiebreaker, after I had to head a
- 30:17Speaker 4: lot of time, it's conference records. So that's another thing
- 30:19Speaker 4: that's gonna really hurt the Seahawks if they drop this one.
- 30:22Speaker 4: So essentially, the Seahawks and really put themselves in a
- 30:24Speaker 4: great position with a win on Monday Night against the
- 30:28Speaker 4: Eagles in the NFC jump out to you know, even
- 30:31Speaker 4: up your record and now you have a real chance.
- 30:34Speaker 1: But then the Seahawks need to play with urgency.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Man.
- 30:36Speaker 1: They need to play like this is a playoff game.
- 30:38Speaker 4: They need to play like there's nothing else they can
- 30:40Speaker 4: do and there is no tomorrow. And I think they
- 30:42Speaker 4: can at Lumenfield under the lights, it's gonna be a
- 30:44Speaker 4: great show.
- 30:45Speaker 1: But they got to play with that desperation. You feel
- 30:48Speaker 1: me bump.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Yeah they got They gotta come out hot, ready to go.
- 30:52Speaker 5: Use the prime time lights to get you going. Like
- 30:55Speaker 5: I mentioned is rush for one hundred yards. You take
- 30:58Speaker 5: advantage of this passing defense that's twenty eighth in the league.
- 31:01Speaker 6: I'm talking about Philly. You'd be good on third downs.
- 31:04Speaker 5: There are some common things when it comes to playing
- 31:06Speaker 5: some good football, and those are always going to be
- 31:08Speaker 5: out there the stats that is mentioned, and then on defense,
- 31:11Speaker 5: just gets some stops and avoid the big play as
- 31:14Speaker 5: much as possible. San Francisco had three hundred and sixty
- 31:18Speaker 5: five yards on ten plays last week. Ten plays, three
- 31:22Speaker 5: hundred and sixty five yards.
- 31:23Speaker 6: You do the math.
- 31:24Speaker 5: It's pretty easy. I just don't feel like doing it.
- 31:26Speaker 5: Don't allow the big play, yeah, no question about it.
- 31:30Speaker 5: I mean that's too much. It's too much. And the
- 31:32Speaker 5: Seagalk team is better than that. I know they're better
- 31:34Speaker 5: than that.
- 31:34Speaker 4: I think they're gonna get a chance to show it
- 31:36Speaker 4: under the lights with their backs against the wall. And
- 31:39Speaker 4: if you want to win this game, don't get in
- 31:41Speaker 4: third one. That's not just message. Just let's just take
- 31:44Speaker 4: that off the table. I don't need to see no
- 31:46Speaker 4: brotherly shove. Whatever they want to be calling it. Don't
- 31:49Speaker 4: need to see it, but that this Seahawk team has
- 31:52Speaker 4: everything in front of them, everything to play for. Pete
- 31:54Speaker 4: Carroll teams responding these situations, and I feel very good
- 31:57Speaker 4: about Monday night.

- 32:16Speaker 4: lead with the fact that the Seahawks have a chance
- 32:18Speaker 4: and they're gonna exploit that Eagles defense. We will talk
- 32:20Speaker 4: to you next week, hopefully about the Seahawks win. This
- 32:22Speaker 4: has been Hawk Talk.
