- 0:08Speaker 1: Scalable advice, sugar spice, It's time.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hello, Hello, welcome to the not I'm your Hebstrom shooter.
- 0:17Speaker 2: And this Wednesday, which means our friend Donny Meachum joins us. Hey, Donnie,
- 0:22Speaker 2: are you there?
- 0:23Speaker 3: Hello?
- 0:24Speaker 1: And lower Low it is Wednesday.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Other than Ryan Seacrest, the two hardest working men in
- 0:29Speaker 4: Hollywood right here, Me and.
- 0:33Speaker 2: We do like to work. Hey, that's big news breaking
- 0:36Speaker 2: at the top of the show. Ryan Seacrest is officially
- 0:39Speaker 2: replacing Pat say Jack on Wheel of Fortune. We told
- 0:43Speaker 2: you this first. If I remember a couple of weeks
- 0:45Speaker 2: ago when it was announced that Phap was leaving, I
- 0:47Speaker 2: was the first to say, it's either Ryan Seacrest or
- 0:50Speaker 2: Sherry Shepherd. Now Sherry has her own syndicated show here
- 0:53Speaker 2: in New York. They were not moving back to LA
- 0:55Speaker 2: I think Ryan had got this actually for quite a while,
- 0:59Speaker 2: and he kept it a secret. I think Kelly Ripper's like,
- 1:01Speaker 2: did you have this when you quit my show?
- 1:04Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:05Speaker 4: You know, Kelly is like sweedy, you could have just
- 1:07Speaker 4: whispered it to me on the way out, like your way.
- 1:10Speaker 4: I'll be like, watch will the Fortune next year? I'll
- 1:12Speaker 4: be there bye, Like just whispering.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Because it was awfully curious that he quit the Kelly Show,
- 1:17Speaker 2: and everyone's like, why did he quit that show? He
- 1:19Speaker 2: already had this lined up, didn't It's all ABC, he
- 1:22Speaker 2: already had it lined up. I think Ryan's a safe choice.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I like Ryan's seacrest. It doesn't excite me like a
- 1:29Speaker 2: Sherry Shepherd or Wendy Williams would like that would be
- 1:32Speaker 2: a show that I would watch every day because it'd
- 1:34Speaker 2: be so sloppy. Ryan's going to be safe, the train
- 1:38Speaker 2: will run on time. I don't think it will be
- 1:40Speaker 2: terribly inspired. I don't think there'll be many changes. But
- 1:43Speaker 2: then again, why throw the baby out with the bathwater.
- 1:46Speaker 2: It's a huge show. It syndicates really well, lots of
- 1:50Speaker 2: people watch it. I think they're sort of not trying
- 1:53Speaker 2: to change it. They're going to just maybe adapt it
- 1:56Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 1:56Speaker 4: What do you think, Yeah, they're just going to it little,
- 1:59Speaker 4: don't fix what's not broken. Like it's it's doing fine.
- 2:02Speaker 4: The ratings are still fair. It makes a ton of money.
- 2:06Speaker 4: But the other thing is Ryan secret is also not cheap.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I'm sure he's making up there to probably what Pets
- 2:11Speaker 4: a Jack was making.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I mean it's a lot of money.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I think more Radar Onliney's reporting he's going to
- 2:16Speaker 2: be now the highest paced paid person on television. He's
- 2:20Speaker 2: gonna be making I think twelve million from Idol and
- 2:23Speaker 2: they're saying up to twenty eight million from Real Fortune.
- 2:28Speaker 2: That's a lot of money.
- 2:29Speaker 4: He also needs to take a nap, like he has.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Their morning radio show, The Man is always same morning.
- 2:35Speaker 2: On iHeartRadio, so be careful. It'd be a bit careful.
- 2:38Speaker 2: They don't if you're listening. Ryan, I love and I
- 2:41Speaker 2: think it's an excellent choice. I couldn't think of a
- 2:44Speaker 2: person better than you. I think it's a safe choice.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I like Ryan. I liked him with La. I'm not
- 2:50Speaker 2: the biggest Wheel of Fortune fan. I do like the
- 2:53Speaker 2: Jeopardy before it, But I watch all those entertainment, those
- 2:56Speaker 2: gossipy shows in the evening around seven to eight. I
- 2:59Speaker 2: like my entertainment Tonight, my Access Hollywood. I'm extra extra
- 3:03Speaker 2: I watch those shows. Do you watch television at all, Donnie.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Yes, Yes, I definitely watch. I Sometimes I'll have Will
- 3:09Speaker 4: Fortune and Jeopardy on in the background.
- 3:11Speaker 1: You know, it's like a little background noise.
- 3:12Speaker 4: It's there, and then I'll casually look over and go
- 3:15Speaker 4: I'll scream out the wrong word for the puzzle, and
- 3:17Speaker 4: then I'll go back to do it.
- 3:18Speaker 1: What I'm doing.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Bruce is very good at Jeopardix. It's a smart pants
- 3:22Speaker 2: but whenever he gets one wrong, I always look up
- 3:24Speaker 2: and say, oh, how embarrassed? Happy, how embarrassing? After he
- 3:29Speaker 2: gets ten right, He's very very smart. Now what's gonna
- 3:33Speaker 2: happen to Varna Vanna White? What's gonna happen? Is Ryan
- 3:36Speaker 2: going to keep her? Is she gonna feel she looks
- 3:38Speaker 2: like his mother? Or should we not be ages? Or
- 3:40Speaker 2: is he going to want to bring in his own person?
- 3:42Speaker 2: Who wants to? In twenty twenty three, I think it's
- 3:45Speaker 2: a really bad visual of the man being the host
- 3:48Speaker 2: and the woman literally being the dressing on the set.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Flip in the letters. I don't know if that role
- 3:53Speaker 2: should be there at all anymore. It feels a bit
- 3:56Speaker 2: a bit sexist.
- 3:57Speaker 1: What do you think, oh Ryan, if you're listening her
- 3:59Speaker 1: lover at alpha time, flip my wrists?
- 4:05Speaker 2: FLI, oh yeah, risk of your look where your pride costume?
- 4:12Speaker 2: Your thong on the wheel of the fortune? Well, that
- 4:15Speaker 2: would make it very modern. I don't think they're trying
- 4:17Speaker 2: to modernize it. So a lot of shows Dancing with
- 4:19Speaker 2: the Stars made this mistake. They tried to really change
- 4:22Speaker 2: the show and the ratings went down the toilet. People
- 4:25Speaker 2: want these shows as they are, and I think Ryan
- 4:28Speaker 2: will definitely do that. Okay, what time is it, my friends?
- 4:31Speaker 2: It is time. We've been in the show, I think
- 4:34Speaker 2: already for or five minutes, and I forgot to say
- 4:36Speaker 2: that at the top. Oh, it's a sloppy day, okay,
- 4:39Speaker 2: tea time. Megan Markle and Harry are been ripped apart
- 4:42Speaker 2: by Hollywood power players. So I think the tigers turned
- 4:46Speaker 2: in Hollywood on the Sussexes. Earlier this month, the couple
- 4:49Speaker 2: and Spotify announced that they were ending their relationship their partnership,
- 4:54Speaker 2: meaning the twelve episodes of her podcast are going to
- 4:58Speaker 2: be it no more now. They reported got twenty million
- 5:02Speaker 2: for this. But what is shocking is a Spotify executive
- 5:06Speaker 2: let's name him Bill Simmons, publicly denounced them, calling them
- 5:10Speaker 2: effin grifters. Ooh.
- 5:13Speaker 4: So.
- 5:14Speaker 2: He has made it no secret of his distainant for
- 5:17Speaker 2: the Royals, and he even described being associated his company
- 5:21Speaker 2: being associated with Prince Harry as embarrassing, asking quote, what
- 5:28Speaker 2: does he bring to the table. He just whinds and
- 5:31Speaker 2: keeps doing interviews. Who gives her you know what? Who
- 5:35Speaker 2: cares about your life? You weren't even the favorite son.
- 5:39Speaker 2: That's harsh, isn't it. Well. Now, United Talent Agency, that's
- 5:43Speaker 2: a big Hollywood agency, like a William Morris. The CEO,
- 5:47Speaker 2: let's name him, Jeremy Zimmer is saying that Megan Marker
- 5:52Speaker 2: was not really a great audio talent. She was not
- 5:55Speaker 2: really good at podcasts. And then he went on to
- 5:57Speaker 2: say or necessarily any kind kind of talent. Just because
- 6:02Speaker 2: you're famous doesn't make you great at something. Oh, donnie naw.
- 6:08Speaker 2: What's shocking to me is not that people are saying this,
- 6:12Speaker 2: because we know people have been saying this for a
- 6:14Speaker 2: very long time, saying that on the record. This is
- 6:17Speaker 2: not a source, This is not a producer close to Spotify.
- 6:22Speaker 2: This is somebody on the record. This is not an
- 6:26Speaker 2: unnamed agent in Hollywood or insider in tinsel Town. This
- 6:32Speaker 2: is the CEO of United Talent say this on the record.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I'm shocked, Yeah, I'm shocked.
- 6:39Speaker 4: This is like literally, this is the top and this
- 6:40Speaker 4: is the Spotify CEO saying this is just like some
- 6:45Speaker 4: guy in the bathroom who's like, oh, Harry Magett off Off.
- 6:48Speaker 1: It's the CEO.
- 6:49Speaker 4: So you know, it's like he's worked with them, He's
- 6:52Speaker 4: dealt with them, yes, talk to them. So this is
- 6:54Speaker 4: first hand knowledge of exactly who they are. I am
- 6:58Speaker 4: worried because I was really rooting for Megan. I think
- 7:01Speaker 4: lam their time in Hollywood might be done because who's
- 7:05Speaker 4: going to pay the amount of money they're going to
- 7:07Speaker 4: want and need to afford their lifestyle now that these
- 7:10Speaker 4: other major companies have come out and said.
- 7:12Speaker 2: No, no, no silly money. When these numbers were thrown
- 7:16Speaker 2: around a couple of years ago, me and you talked
- 7:18Speaker 2: about it, Donnie. We had a drink and we were saying,
- 7:20Speaker 2: it's craziness. We do a podcast, the daily podcast. One
- 7:22Speaker 2: of us does one only does one a week, Lazy
- 7:25Speaker 2: boone for you, But we do do a show together
- 7:28Speaker 2: every everyone's it's a lot of work. I know it
- 7:30Speaker 2: doesn't seem like a lot of work because we're so
- 7:32Speaker 2: fabulous at it. But I know also too, we weren't
- 7:34Speaker 2: getting paid twenty million dollars. I often don't want a
- 7:38Speaker 2: big pay checks. I don't want to work that hard.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Meghan and Harry would have done much better if they
- 7:42Speaker 2: took a much lower like a fifty grand, just something
- 7:46Speaker 2: much lower. I know it's not going to even pay
- 7:48Speaker 2: any of their bills because they live so high, but
- 7:50Speaker 2: they got too much money. When somebody offers you too
- 7:53Speaker 2: much money, think twice before saying yes, because they don't
- 7:57Speaker 2: give you that money, they want something in return, and
- 8:00Speaker 2: that's called work. And so for twenty million dollars, not
- 8:02Speaker 2: only there's nothing possibly well, at least I could do
- 8:05Speaker 2: for twenty million. You've got some secret skills we're not
- 8:07Speaker 2: going to talk about on the show, but there is
- 8:09Speaker 2: hardly anything any of us could do for that sort
- 8:12Speaker 2: of money. And now, once you fail, and those sort
- 8:16Speaker 2: of numbers have been in the press have become a reality,
- 8:19Speaker 2: no other business really wants to be associated with you
- 8:22Speaker 2: because they know you still want a lot of money,
- 8:25Speaker 2: but you don't deliver the goods. I think they're in
- 8:26Speaker 2: a very difficult position.
- 8:28Speaker 1: It's very difficult. We say this all the time.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Look, everybody thinks it's easy to get up there and
- 8:33Speaker 4: host a radio show. It's easy to host a talk show.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Talent. It takes an actual gift.
- 8:38Speaker 4: And all these famous people they go out there, they
- 8:40Speaker 4: start these podcasts, they start all this stuff, and then
- 8:43Speaker 4: they realize, oh, I'm not that good actually, and then
- 8:46Speaker 4: people listen and they go, oh, they're not that good,
- 8:48Speaker 4: and it's a yes, it's not like patting us on
- 8:51Speaker 4: the back.
- 8:51Speaker 1: But it takes a different kind of talent these type
- 8:55Speaker 1: of shows.
- 8:56Speaker 2: And I'm not saying she couldn't discover this talent or
- 8:58Speaker 2: develop it. She just hadn't. We always say it all
- 9:00Speaker 2: the time on the show, do the work, do the work.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Before I got this, iHeart podcast, I did a daily
- 9:06Speaker 2: show at a small independent radio station, Dereka Remain, and
- 9:10Speaker 2: I met Donnie there and I did the work every day.
- 9:12Speaker 2: And Donnie, I'll give you credit. You taught me how
- 9:14Speaker 2: to do this. You're an amazing producer. You'd worked at
- 9:17Speaker 2: different channels including Serious ExM. You taught me, Derek and
- 9:21Speaker 2: Remain taught me. I didn't make hardly any money, but
- 9:23Speaker 2: I did it to go to the University of Podcasting,
- 9:26Speaker 2: the University of Radio, and I did it every day
- 9:29Speaker 2: for a year and I got good at it, not
- 9:31Speaker 2: because I'm talented, but because I did the work. The
- 9:34Speaker 2: more you do it, the better you get. I think
- 9:36Speaker 2: Meghan would have been better off starting the small little
- 9:40Speaker 2: channel and independent podcasting learned her skills that the difficulty
- 9:44Speaker 2: is she's so famous. There's nothing she could just do
- 9:46Speaker 2: off the radar. Everything she does is going to be
- 9:48Speaker 2: judged and it's a difficult position for her. But this
- 9:51Speaker 2: brings us to our pole question of the day. Hollywood
- 9:53Speaker 2: power players have ripped Meghan and Harry apart as the
- 9:58Speaker 2: tide turned on these two. Is this just a moment
- 10:01Speaker 2: or has the tie turn go bout on our Twitter
- 10:04Speaker 2: page at naughty nice well about facebook page? No, it
- 10:07Speaker 2: goes him and be sure it's check back tomorrow to
- 10:10Speaker 2: hear your results. Donny, what scandalous story are you working on?
- 10:15Speaker 4: Oh? Andy Coeen Oh, he was thanking his fans for
- 10:19Speaker 4: support after a nipple video from New York City Pride
- 10:23Speaker 4: went viral so all over the internet. Oliver Twitter, there's
- 10:27Speaker 4: a video of Andy Cohen and he's just playing with
- 10:30Speaker 4: the man's nipples New York City prad and somebody was
- 10:35Speaker 4: like saying a lot of things about him. They were
- 10:37Speaker 4: people talking on Twitter. Well, he tweeted back at a guy.
- 10:40Speaker 4: He said, thank you. After the man says we stand
- 10:44Speaker 4: with you and encourage you. To live life to the fullest.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Oh no, what it's pride, rubber nipple.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Rab a nipple. I think the thing that people are
- 10:53Speaker 2: upset about is that Andy was in a gay club
- 10:55Speaker 2: and this was a really undercover type shady camera. Someone
- 10:59Speaker 2: didn't go over to him and said, Oh Andy, can
- 11:01Speaker 2: I take a picture? Or can I can I tak
- 11:03Speaker 2: to a selfie? This is somebody who sort of hid
- 11:06Speaker 2: a camera. It looks under their coat, their shirt and
- 11:08Speaker 2: his video and Andy in quite an intimate moment with
- 11:11Speaker 2: a young gentleman.
- 11:12Speaker 1: It looks like you just met.
- 11:13Speaker 2: So go out there, enjoy your life, live your life.
- 11:16Speaker 2: But if you're as famous as Andy Cohen and you're
- 11:18Speaker 2: gonna twiddle someone's nipple in a bar, the chances of
- 11:24Speaker 2: it being recorded I'm pretty high, now, Donnie. If I
- 11:27Speaker 2: had a secret camera on you in the bar, I
- 11:32Speaker 2: might see you put your hand on someone's knee. I
- 11:34Speaker 2: might even see a little kiss. But I don't know
- 11:37Speaker 2: if your nipples are out in the bar.
- 11:39Speaker 1: No, that's not really quite my thing. No, see, and
- 11:44Speaker 1: I just I'm there.
- 11:45Speaker 4: I'm just drinking a little fireball, a little rumming coke.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Nipples are staying in somebody else's nipples. But if you
- 11:53Speaker 4: want to do it, more power to you.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I think so here. I recently went to a gay
- 11:58Speaker 2: bar with Wendy Williams. It was a quiet night. We
- 12:01Speaker 2: met at Fresco's for dinner, and then she wanted to
- 12:03Speaker 2: go and get a drink. We went there and somebody
- 12:05Speaker 2: secretly recorded Wendy. Because I saw the video on a
- 12:08Speaker 2: bit of a scandalous site, and she wasn't doing anything bad,
- 12:11Speaker 2: she was sitting there. I'm not saying Andy was doing
- 12:13Speaker 2: anything bad either. Enjoy your life, but I did feel
- 12:16Speaker 2: a little, a little invaded for Wendy. There weren't even
- 12:19Speaker 2: video on me. They were video and Wendy and had
- 12:21Speaker 2: to come over, and lots of people did and said, oh, Wendy,
- 12:24Speaker 2: we love you. Can we take a picture. She was
- 12:25Speaker 2: like yes, yes, she was in a great mood. But
- 12:27Speaker 2: this one person sort of creeped around the corner with
- 12:30Speaker 2: their camera sort of hidden under their shirt and video too.
- 12:34Speaker 2: For thirty seconds. I didn't see it happen, and then
- 12:37Speaker 2: the next day I saw the video online and I
- 12:39Speaker 2: was like, oh, that doesn't feel right. Again. It's a
- 12:42Speaker 2: public place, it's not illegal to do. But it did
- 12:45Speaker 2: make me feel a little bit for her, but we
- 12:47Speaker 2: support you here. Andy. Whatever your kinks are, keep doing them,
- 12:51Speaker 2: my friend. Enjoy your life. Oh you know, Bethid is
- 12:55Speaker 2: going to be jealous. Now we had pinching nipples in bars.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Be a tension bag. Okay, moving along. Somebody threw a
- 13:03Speaker 2: bag of ashes at Pink during a concert. So Pink
- 13:08Speaker 2: paused her performance during a recent concert to address a
- 13:11Speaker 2: fan her through her bag containing her mother's ashes on stage. Well,
- 13:17Speaker 2: the singer took it in her stride, although she appeared
- 13:20Speaker 2: to be a little confused by what was going on.
- 13:23Speaker 2: She said, is that your mom? And she said, I
- 13:25Speaker 2: don't know how I feel about this, and then she
- 13:27Speaker 2: walked with the bag to the front of the stage
- 13:31Speaker 2: and set it down before continuing with her show. Now,
- 13:35Speaker 2: there's been quite a bit of naughty activity at concerts recently.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Can you remember someone threw a chicken nugget at Harry
- 13:42Speaker 2: Styles in New York and recently a Ribricksa she got
- 13:48Speaker 2: hit in the face by a phone. She got a
- 13:49Speaker 2: big black eye. I think I'd rather a chicken nugget
- 13:53Speaker 2: thrown at me than the ashes of your mother, though
- 13:56Speaker 2: it seems very undignified and How did.
- 13:59Speaker 3: They get this curity? Where did you put those at?
- 14:01Speaker 3: Where was your mother before the show's? Really you had
- 14:05Speaker 3: them downs because your bag, they check your bag, you
- 14:10Speaker 3: battery substance. They might think it's you know.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Oh, that's right. She must have snooked them in just
- 14:17Speaker 2: she was a big fan of pinks, and so I'm
- 14:19Speaker 2: going to throw them at pink during the show. I
- 14:23Speaker 2: tell you, that's too much A pig kept on going.
- 14:27Speaker 2: What am I going to do to get out on
- 14:29Speaker 2: stage immediately with a mop? That's not right? And then
- 14:33Speaker 2: what do we do with the mop? Do you have
- 14:34Speaker 2: to bury it? I don't know about this, Donny. When
- 14:37Speaker 2: you pass, and you know, I'm going to have to
- 14:39Speaker 2: deal with it because you're all alone in the world. Still,
- 14:42Speaker 2: I know it's terribly sad. It's terribly sad. Where do
- 14:46Speaker 2: you want me to deposit.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Your ash Kelly Clarkson.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Perform I would say Madonna, but hopefully, I mean she's
- 14:56Speaker 2: a little bit older.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Than menmagine a little.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I was throw my ashes at Liza Madelli. Oh that
- 15:03Speaker 2: means I'm gone in the next Well, it's too much
- 15:06Speaker 2: to think about, isn't it? Okay? We will remember that,
- 15:08Speaker 2: Kelly Clarkson. If you're listening, Alolo, get security ready for
- 15:12Speaker 2: the ashes. Okay, we're gonna take a quick break and
- 15:14Speaker 2: we will be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty.
- 15:17Speaker 2: But I'm I'm sure to the dear friend Donate Leecham, Hey, Donnie,
- 15:21Speaker 2: let's get to the polls. Yesterday he talked about Darn Lemon,
- 15:25Speaker 2: claiming that's in it and fired him for refusing to
- 15:27Speaker 2: put on quote liars and bigots on the air. Is
- 15:30Speaker 2: he right? Let's have a look. Oh, only ten of
- 15:34Speaker 2: you say he is right. That is not why dog
- 15:36Speaker 2: got fired. Let's be clear here. Now, DNA has spoken
- 15:40Speaker 2: at He's been very very forceful about his views on
- 15:43Speaker 2: certain people and why they should not be on TV.
- 15:45Speaker 2: But that isn't the reason he got fired. He fought
- 15:48Speaker 2: with his co hosts. He also too said women would
- 15:51Speaker 2: pass their prime lots of other stuff here, I'm with
- 15:55Speaker 2: the majority. Where are you, Donnie?
- 15:57Speaker 1: That is not why he got for it. I would.
- 15:59Speaker 4: I think he believes that it's like it makes it
- 16:02Speaker 4: feel better, and don if that makes you feel better, sweety,
- 16:05Speaker 4: believe it.
- 16:06Speaker 1: It's just not believe it.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Believe it. Yeah, I believe A friend of mine recently
- 16:10Speaker 2: got fired and she told me it was because she
- 16:13Speaker 2: had too bigger personality. Oh what I wanted to remind her,
- 16:16Speaker 2: it's a couple of weeks ago at the party, you
