- 0:02Speaker 1: They have sent us a picture of some of the
- 0:04Speaker 1: stuff that he's got in the store. That Jaws posters
- 0:07Speaker 1: pretty tempting. All right, we got a trailer here for you.

- 0:32Speaker 1: episode seven season I got all right, But we have
- 0:35Speaker 1: a trailer here. Huge, huge cast. It's just a new back.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Of course, we're getting a sequel to an episode. It
- 0:45Speaker 1: usually doesn't happen. Usually they're all standalone. We're getting a
- 0:49Speaker 1: sequel to the uh, the spaceship one, the USS Callister.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Oh, that's a I've watched very few of these, but
- 0:57Speaker 3: that one's really was that the one with Jesse Clemons, Yes,
- 1:00Speaker 3: that was really good.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So you're getting a sequel to that one.
- 1:04Speaker 3: You're the color Receiver.
- 1:07Speaker 1: But this is a huge cast. I have to be
- 1:09Speaker 1: very careful here because the Federal Communications Commission is convinced
- 1:12Speaker 1: that you're all nine years old. And there are words
- 1:15Speaker 1: that you hear every day that I can't play on
- 1:18Speaker 1: the radio. But yeah, it's a huge cast. Aquafina Peter Capaldi,
- 1:22Speaker 1: who looks really greasy, Emma Corn, Paul Giamatti is in here,
- 1:29Speaker 1: Rashida Jones, Billy Magnuson not just one, but two, Kristin
- 1:34Speaker 1: malatates you double up on your Crystal Maliis, Chris O'Dowd
- 1:39Speaker 1: Its Ray, Tracy Ells, Ross, Jimmy Simpson, Harriet Walker, and
- 1:43Speaker 1: Will Poulter.
- 1:44Speaker 3: Jesse Plemons does not say did he die at the
- 1:48Speaker 3: end of that episode. Maybe we haven't anyway, I don't remember.
- 1:52Speaker 3: But yeah, so if you want to go and watch it.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Arrives April tenth on Netflix, season seven of Black Mirror.
- 2:01Speaker 3: It looks like it's back to it's you know, creepy self,
- 2:08Speaker 3: you know. All right, let's see, now this happened over
- 2:13Speaker 3: the weekend.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Well, of course we had that Looney Tunes movie open
- 2:19Speaker 1: The Day the Earth Blew Up. Now, Warner Brothers didn't
- 2:23Speaker 1: distribute that, even though they own Looney Tunes, they didn't
- 2:26Speaker 1: distribute it. They sold it off to somebody else to
- 2:29Speaker 1: distribute it. Parent company, Warner Brothers, their value of animation
- 2:36Speaker 1: is in rapid descent. The company that has decided the
- 2:40Speaker 1: same weekend that the Looney Tunes big screen The Day
- 2:43Speaker 1: the Earth Blew Up, Hey this'd be a good time
- 2:46Speaker 1: to pull all of our Looney Tunes, Classic Looney Tunes
- 2:49Speaker 1: off of Max. These sides did not talk at all
- 2:54Speaker 1: about David Zaslov, the head of Warner Brothers. It's like,
- 3:00Speaker 1: here's an obvious right decision to make, I'll do the opposite.
- 3:05Speaker 1: And when I read about this, I immediately went to
- 3:08Speaker 1: my Max and checked. And here's what. Here's the Looney
- 3:12Speaker 1: Tunes that you get when you search Looney Tunes on Max.
- 3:16Speaker 1: You get the Sylvester and Tweedy Mysteries, parts of the
- 3:22Speaker 1: New Looney Tunes, just parts of not all the seasons,
- 3:26Speaker 1: just parts of them, and Tiny Toons University, all of
- 3:30Speaker 1: I had the classic ones set in a rotation because
- 3:33Speaker 1: sometimes Sue and I'll just you know, let's watch cartoon
- 3:36Speaker 1: before we go to bed.
- 3:37Speaker 2: That is a palate cleanser for the day.
- 3:39Speaker 1: It is, and they're just gone.
- 3:44Speaker 2: This would be the time to get people hooked on
- 3:45Speaker 2: them exactly.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That's Warner Brothers has such contempt for their ip when
- 3:50Speaker 1: it comes to this kind of stuff. Now you got
- 3:52Speaker 1: to remember this is the company that at the end
- 3:54Speaker 1: of September twenty twenty four, they would be shuddering their
- 3:59Speaker 1: Boomerang website completely, which was filled with cartoons, and then
- 4:04Speaker 1: they scrubbed Cartoon Network's website of years of history and
- 4:08Speaker 1: replaced it with a landing page directing people to subscribe
- 4:11Speaker 1: to Max, cutting off generations of flash games as well
- 4:16Speaker 1: as free online access to a host of episodes from
- 4:20Speaker 1: the shows. But the move is the latest in an
- 4:23Speaker 1: oddball relationship Warner Brothers has had with Looney Tunes. I mean,
- 4:26Speaker 1: let's not forget the Coyote versus Acme thing. They produced
- 4:30Speaker 1: an entire film Coyote Versus Sacked Me, and then decided
- 4:36Speaker 1: we're not going to release it was a live action,
- 4:38Speaker 1: it was live action and animated, and they just decided
- 4:42Speaker 1: not to release it. Same with Batgirl. They finished a
- 4:45Speaker 1: Batgirl movie, they just decided we're not going to release it.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Very confusing business decision.
- 4:52Speaker 1: If I were if I, you know, were a stockholder
- 4:55Speaker 1: or a board member warned, I'd be getting rid of
- 4:57Speaker 1: David's aslov. I mean, that's all there is to it,
- 5:00Speaker 1: because apparently in the reviews for the Day the Earth
- 5:02Speaker 1: blew Up, this movie that's out there are great. Nobody's
- 5:05Speaker 1: seeing it because they're not aware that it's out there.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I hadn't heard about it. The first time I heard
- 5:09Speaker 2: about it is when Shawn talked about Fariday. I haven't
- 5:12Speaker 2: seen one ad for it or anything.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Yeah, all the reviews I've seen or it's like, hey,
- 5:16Speaker 1: it's good. In a recent interview, Joe Russo, one of
- 5:20Speaker 1: the Russo brothers, talking about Avengers Doom's day, talking about
- 5:27Speaker 1: you know, because everyone is like, well, you know, yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 1: Robert Downey Junior played iron Man and now he's coming
- 5:31Speaker 1: back to play Doctor Doom. How does this work? Yeah, well,
- 5:35Speaker 1: here's what he had to say. So I'm not going
- 5:37Speaker 1: to get into it. We can't explain that as it's
- 5:42Speaker 1: part of the story. But there's nobody else in the
- 5:45Speaker 1: world who could play this character the way he's about to.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Somehow iron Man's death has something to do with Doctor
- 5:53Speaker 1: Doom's appearance.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Because this is I don't know anything about any of this,
- 5:59Speaker 2: but that has been confusing to me from so maybe
- 6:02Speaker 2: this will make sense.
- 6:04Speaker 1: It's got Yeah, they said they've got it figured out okay,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and they're real happy with the way that it's going.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So we'll see. I trust them, understand, I mss show
- 6:13Speaker 1: me what you got kind of person. Let's see they're
- 6:16Speaker 1: gonna make a new Starship Troopers movie. Okay, not the
- 6:21Speaker 1: Paul Verhoven ones. This is a completely different thing altogether.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Neil Blomcamp, who did District nine. Yeah, I love that movie.
- 6:29Speaker 1: He uh, you know, we I wanted a sequel to that,
- 6:32Speaker 1: but instead we're getting we're getting other things. He says
- 6:35Speaker 1: he wants to do a Starship Troopers movie more close
- 6:39Speaker 1: to the source material, the book, which is just as
- 6:43Speaker 1: fascist as the other one. So you know, if you're
- 6:47Speaker 1: if you're hungry for fascism, I'm sure that.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Maybe he wants to make it more fashion, maybe extra fash,
- 6:53Speaker 3: extra
- 6:56Speaker 1: That's on its way, alright,
