- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. Over the past couple of months, there has
- 0:07been a lawsuit brewing behind the scenes between journalists Kadi
- 0:11Fang and the Department of Justice. Well, on Thursday, the
- 0:15DOJ was supposed to turn over files according to an
- 0:18order from a judge. Well, I know this is going
- 0:22to be the most shocking news of the day, but
- 0:25the DOJ is not in compliance once again, and they're
- 0:29refusing to turn over these documents and they're now asking
- 0:33for a delay of sixty days because they haven't had
- 0:37long enough. Meanwhile, these imbeciles have had over four decades,
- 0:41but sure not enough time to get our story straight.
- 0:46Todd Blanche is managing an ongoing cover up and he
- 0:50needs to be held accountable. Congress needs to do their
- 0:54job and make sure that Todd Blanche is never the
- 0:59Attorney General. Now he might be the sitting Attorney General,
- 1:03but he should never be confirmed. And anybody that votes
- 1:07to confirm him is basically giving the stamp of approval
- 1:11to the DOJ and their handling of what happened with Epstein.
- 1:15So if that's what these Congressmen and senators want to do, cool,
- 1:19go for it. But I hope that everybody remembers that
- 1:22when it comes time to vote, because really, that's the
- 1:25only power we have. All these incumbents that are in office,
- 1:29that are making all these terrible decisions, the only thing
- 1:32they fear is losing their seat. So we should make
- 1:35that a reality. Every person who's made light of this,
- 1:38every person who's called it a hoax, every person who's
- 1:41tried to ignore it, every last one of those people
- 1:44should be voted out. Unfortunately, we know that's not going
- 1:48to happen, and that's because nobody wants to hold their
- 1:51quote unquote favorite politicians accountable. It's always the other team,
- 1:55the other side. Well what about no, not what about
- 2:01let's talk about right now. Let's talk about who's in
- 2:04charge right now. Let's talk about who's making the decisions
- 2:07right now. Just like four years ago, I was saying
- 2:11the same shit about Merrick Garland and Uncle Junior Soprano Biden,
- 2:16And if you recall, I was telling you that he
- 2:18had cognitive decline years ago, and I was taking pushback
- 2:22for it. What are you defending Donald Trump? And then
- 2:24the next email, why are you talking about Joe Biden?
- 2:28He isn't in mental decline. He's perfectly healthy, making great decisions. Meanwhile,
- 2:34Uncle Pudding Brain was literally zombified. That has nothing to
- 2:39do with left or right. It has to do with
- 2:41the fact that the leader of the country, the leader
- 2:42of the free world, doesn't even know what time it is.
- 2:46That was a pretty big problem. And then, of course
- 2:49Merrick Garland, another person that I criticized on a regular
- 2:53basis for not going after Jeffrey Epstein's empire. But that's
- 2:56in the past. That's all happened previously. What's happening now
- 3:01is what I'm concerned with, and that's the cover up
- 3:04that's being led by Todd Blanche. So today we have
- 3:07an article from ABC News and the headline the DOJ
- 3:11declines to turn over additional Epstein files, says redactions were appropriate.
- 3:16This article was authored by Peter Charlembeau and James Hill.
- 3:20Don't you think that if there was nothing there to hide,
- 3:23they just turn them all over and get this behind them.
- 3:27What are they so scared of? What are they so
- 3:29worried about? The Department of Justice on Thursday declined to
- 3:33turn over additional information from the Epstein files as ordered
- 3:37by a judge, arguing that the materials include sensitive victim
- 3:40information or were appropriately redacted as required by law. Well,
- 3:46that's not up to you at this point. Nobody believes you,
- 3:49nobody trusts you, and I'm still wondering why nobody is
- 3:52calling for a special counsel. I guess everybody's too worried
- 3:55about their salacious engagement. Oh no, or he's waning. Interest
- 4:01is falling off. I better talk about the most wild
- 4:04shit I possibly can. Who gives a shit if there's
- 4:06any truth to it? Yet? The story's living right here
- 4:10in this decision being made by the DOJ. And don't
- 4:13you find it disturbing that the DOJ can just ignore
- 4:15a court order like this and do whatever they want.
- 4:19I guarantee you that you wouldn't be given the same
- 4:21kind of leeway hours ahead of the deadline to turn
- 4:26over the material or explain why they were properly withheld.
- 4:30Associate US Attorney General Stanley Woodward asked the judge to
- 4:34delay the deadline by sixty days or disregard it entirely
- 4:39by accepting the DOJ's reasons for withholding the material. And
- 4:43this is how our circular system works. I'm sure the
- 4:46judge is going to give them what they want, because
- 4:48that's how it always works. For whatever reason, the court
- 4:51still wants to give these people over the DOJ the
- 4:54benefit of the doubt when they've been in non compliance
- 4:58of this law from the very beginning. Although the government
- 5:02strongly disagrees with the court's ruling that the Epstein Files
- 5:05Transparency Act is enforceable by private parties through the Administrative
- 5:10Procedure Act, the government welcomes this opportunity to resolve any
- 5:14confusion regarding the records at issue in this case. Woodward wrote, Oh, well,
- 5:20in that case, the government can't wait to explain themselves,
- 5:24So do it. What are you waiting for? Why don't
- 5:27you just explain yourself right now? Why don't you just
- 5:30come clean, turn over all the files you have and
- 5:33explain why things were adacted. That might be a good idea,
- 5:39or you can just continue with your bullshit and keep
- 5:41digging that hole deeper. According to Woodward, some emails in question,
- 5:46which had their senders and recipients concealed, were redacted to
- 5:50protect the names of victims. Oh now they care about that, huh.
- 5:53All of a sudden, they care about protecting the names
- 5:56of victims. Meanwhile, back in reality. For one of the emails,
- 6:01Woodward claimed that some of the information was withheld because
- 6:05many communications written by victims without context can appear disturbing
- 6:09on their face. Well, that's not up to you to decide.
- 6:14The American people should have a look at it. We
- 6:18should be able to take a look at all the
- 6:20information in its entirety as the law demands. But instead
- 6:25they're a cherry picking, they're gatekeeping. Woodward also claimed that
- 6:29the redactions to a draft two thousand and seven indictment
- 6:32from the Southern District of Florida were present in the
- 6:35original file obtained by the Department of Justice, and that
- 6:38they have been unable to locate an unredacted version of
- 6:42this specific photocopy. They refuse to put that out. That
- 6:46was the original indictment that they were going to hit
- 6:48Epstein with, and then they pulled back and went with
- 6:51the state prosecution, and all of that was controlled by
- 6:56Main Justice, And that's why they don't want this to
- 6:59come out. One of the biggest things they're hiding the
- 7:02fact that the United States government, the Department of Justice,
- 7:05knowingly and in coordination with Jeffrey Epstein and his people
- 7:11decided that they were going to kick this down to
- 7:12state so that Epstein can continue to do whatever he
- 7:15was doing for the federal government. It's really not that
- 7:18difficult once you start putting the pieces together. Regarding the
- 7:23interview notes from a woman who made it unsubstantiated assault
- 7:26claims about President Donald Trump, Woodward claim that the material
- 7:30were deemed duplicative of the typewritten reports memorializing the interviews.
- 7:35So release it. What's the big deal If it's duplicative,
- 7:38that should be very simple. All right, Look, I told
- 7:41you that this was duplicative. Here it is. Take a
- 7:44look at it. But no, we're going to keep it hidden.
- 7:47You don't deserve to see that. Who cares what the
- 7:50law says? Don't you know that? I'm Todd Blanche. Their
- 7:53handwritten nature further complicates their redaction process and increases the
- 7:57risk of inadvertent disclosure of victim personal identifiable information, including
- 8:03because of technical limitations on the department's ability to run
- 8:07meaningful quality control checks for victim PII across handwritten materials.
- 8:12He wrote, It's always an excuse, it's always something, and
- 8:16that something is never good for the American people. Oh,
- 8:21they have no problem talking about other folks, right, but
- 8:23this case, forget it. The last thing they want to
- 8:27do is let anyone know the truth. Woodward also pushed
- 8:31back on the U. S. District Judge em Mitt Sullivan's
- 8:34conclusion that the Department of Justice effectively conceded that they
- 8:38violated the law pass by Congress to force the release
- 8:40of the Epstein files. Well, they did, and they're doing
- 8:45it brazenly. They do not care. Are you paying attention yet?
- 8:51While you're fighting with your cousin, Steve, these motherfuckers are
- 8:54Robin You blind but cool, keep arguing about dumb shit. Indeed,
- 9:00the Department has not knowingly violated, nor has it ever
- 9:04acknowledged violating, the AFTA, as it continues working to comply
- 9:08with statutory requirements. He wrote, Well, Todd Blanche said he did,
- 9:13So what do you even mean, mister Woodward. In his
- 9:18order last week, Sullivan rejected the DJ's argument against releasing
- 9:22the material and concluded that the Public Integrity Project, a
- 9:25public interest law firm, demonstrated that independent journalist Katie Fang
- 9:30was harmed by the material that was being withheld. Well,
- 9:34we all are. Katie Fang's just taking the forefront here
- 9:39she's the vanguard. But we're all harmed by this shit,
- 9:43every single one of us. And it's amazing how many
- 9:45people still don't understand that until we deal with this issue,
- 9:48none of the other issues matter. I mean, how are
- 9:51you going to sit there and be confident that things
- 9:53are fine, things are great, when these saying people are
- 9:56still at the sticks, still running the show. The DOJ
- 10:02began releasing thousands of pages of documents related to Ebstein
- 10:05late last year, following the release of the Epstein Files
- 10:08Transparency Act. However, the Department faced criticism from some lawmakers,
- 10:14who questioned whether the Department violated the Act by withholding
- 10:17some material and missing the deadline to release the files.
- 10:21Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche has stated repeatedly that the
- 10:25DOJ has complied with the law. Well since Todd Blanche
- 10:29told us, though, we should all just believe him. Hell
- 10:32of a guy that Todd Blanche never steered us wrong,
- 10:36never told us anything that was incorrect, and he's never
- 10:39given us any reason to not believe him right. I mean,
- 10:42could it be any more absurd the narrative that they're
- 10:45trying to run the gaslighting, they're trying to engage in
- 10:48and the fact that some people are still buying it.
- 10:51It might be some of the most absurd shit I've
- 10:53ever seen. Then again, we're only three days into the months,
- 10:58so like usual, we'll keep following along and when we
- 11:01have something else to add, we'll get it added to
- 11:04the catalog. All the information that goes with this episode
- 11:07can be found in the description box.
