- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey guys, welcome back to Wisecracks. Bill Krakenberger at home today.
- 0:05Speaker 1: There was a lot of things going on down at Circa.
- 0:08Speaker 1: We couldn't film too early. We had some scheduling problems
- 0:13Speaker 1: earlier and then we were going to film three o'clock
- 0:15Speaker 1: down there, but the playoffs are on. It would be
- 0:17Speaker 1: too loud. And boy, baseball playoffs, man. I love baseball playoffs.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I really do.
- 0:23Speaker 1: It's one of the best times of the year for
- 0:25Speaker 1: sports betting right now. Baseball playoffs, football games. Of course,
- 0:31Speaker 1: we have hockey now. I have friends coming to town.
- 0:33Speaker 1: What a week next week. A buddy of mine is coming,
- 0:36Speaker 1: and he said, I'm going to come in town next
- 0:38Speaker 1: week on Wednesday, and if you want to go to
- 0:41Speaker 1: a Thursday night hockey game and then a Saturday night
- 0:45Speaker 1: hockey game and then Sunday football. And it's just tough to,
- 0:52Speaker 1: to go to Saturday night and then Sunday night.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I do a Sunday morning Fox sports radio show.
- 0:58Speaker 1: And it's tough to get up at five in the
- 1:00Speaker 1: morning after being out late and then go to a
- 1:03Speaker 1: football game.
- 1:04Speaker 2: And it's nice.
- 1:04Speaker 1: So Raiders game, I'll tell you the Raiders, man, I
- 1:08Speaker 1: have one of the coaches that live a couple doors
- 1:11Speaker 1: down here.
- 1:12Speaker 2: And he told.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Me, like during the summer, but like everyone, like every
- 1:17Speaker 1: trainer of a, of a horse tells you, Oh, my
- 1:20Speaker 1: horse is good looking good.
- 1:21Speaker 2: He's working out.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I want to know the bad horses. Am I, I'm
- 1:25Speaker 1: not pushing my horse today. That's what I want to know, uh,
- 1:28Speaker 1: to eliminate them from the race. Um, so of course
- 1:31Speaker 1: he said, you know, we're, we're, because I think we're
- 1:33Speaker 1: going to have a really good team this year. I
- 1:34Speaker 1: think we're going to be much more successful than people think.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Of course, I don't act on it at all. Raiders
- 1:40Speaker 1: start out three, you know, and could have beat Kansas
- 1:42Speaker 1: city last week. Um, So I'll tell you, that Bills game,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I think they're playing the Bills. I just may go
- 1:51Speaker 1: to that game next Sunday because I think they can
- 1:53Speaker 1: beat the Bills.
- 1:54Speaker 2: You know, it's amazing.
- 1:55Speaker 1: People had the Bills on top of their chart as
- 1:58Speaker 1: the best team in football only a week before they lost.
- 2:03Speaker 2: To the Patriots this weekend.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It's amazing what can happen.
- 2:06Speaker 2: From week to week.
- 2:09Speaker 1: You know, they have him as a top team. Now,
- 2:13Speaker 1: someone I really respect in the business doesn't even have
- 2:15Speaker 1: him in the top four. He's got the Bills fifth.
- 2:17Speaker 1: He had him first last week. That shows you the
- 2:20Speaker 1: parity in the league. I was talking about this on
- 2:22Speaker 1: some of my other platforms earlier in the week. It's
- 2:24Speaker 1: amazing how week to week with the great equalizer, the spread,
- 2:33Speaker 1: these games are within one series or another of covering
- 2:36Speaker 1: and stuff.
- 2:37Speaker 2: You talk about the... hundreds of millions.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I mean, there could be a billion dollar worldwide swing
- 2:45Speaker 1: of a game, especially if it's a marquee names. Now
- 2:49Speaker 1: I know the dolphins and Minnesota wasn't marquee names, but by, by,
- 2:54Speaker 1: by him sliding down at the end of the game
- 2:56Speaker 1: where all the people in the sports book said, Oh
- 2:57Speaker 1: my God, what's he doing? I can't believe this is
- 3:00Speaker 1: a fix. Well, no, it's not, not a fix. It
- 3:03Speaker 1: was actually the right move to make to end the game.
- 3:05Speaker 2: The only way you lose the game is if you score.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Of course, it's a 1-100% of a chance, but that's
- 3:13Speaker 1: the only way you have a chance to lose the game.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You automatically win the game just sliding down the one-yard line,
- 3:18Speaker 1: game over. But just think the swing there. I talked
- 3:22Speaker 1: about that earlier in the week. I can go down
- 3:25Speaker 1: the chart from last Thursday's Pittsburgh-Cleveland game and go down
- 3:30Speaker 1: the chart at every game. You could see just one
- 3:33Speaker 1: score either way would flip that. That's why it's so
- 3:36Speaker 1: tough betting NFL sides. I tell you guys all the time,
- 3:39Speaker 1: NFL side is very difficult. I stick with my props.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I stick with some first-half stuff, some correlation stuff. You
- 3:46Speaker 1: can't even bet teeters anymore because... There's no word about teasers.
- 3:49Speaker 1: You have to lay a dollar and a quarter. I mean,
- 3:53Speaker 1: I did a show with Kelly in Vegas earlier in
- 3:54Speaker 1: the week. She has a place that's a dollar 10.
- 3:56Speaker 1: That's very good. Six point teasers, dollar 10. You don't
- 4:00Speaker 1: have to know anything, nothing. You don't have to know
- 4:03Speaker 1: a single player's name on a team. You don't have
- 4:06Speaker 1: to know literally the color of the uniform, nothing. All
- 4:10Speaker 1: you have to know is you're laying a dollar 10
- 4:12Speaker 1: on a six point teaser and you could do what's called, well,
- 4:16Speaker 1: Trust me, before Stanford Wong came out with the term
- 4:19Speaker 1: Wong teasers, I was playing Wong teasers in the 90s.
- 4:22Speaker 1: So that's taking your teams that are like seven and
- 4:25Speaker 1: a half and teasing them down through the seven and
- 4:28Speaker 1: the three. And let me tell you, you only want
- 4:31Speaker 1: to do home teams. If you have that situation, maybe
- 4:34Speaker 1: with your guy or something where you're laying $ 1. 10, it's
- 4:37Speaker 1: home teams. It's not road teams. Home teams, and it's those,
- 4:42Speaker 1: even like the plus one and a half, taking it
- 4:44Speaker 1: up to seven and a half, as long as that
- 4:46Speaker 1: team's the home team, that's what you want to do.
- 4:48Speaker 2: You want to take it through the key numbers.
- 4:49Speaker 1: But then again, just remember, these teasers aren't as profitable
- 4:56Speaker 1: as they once were, even with the 110, because of
- 4:59Speaker 1: the rules in football that have changed, especially since I
- 5:02Speaker 1: was playing these advantage teasers 30 years ago. the extra point, 10,
- 5:08Speaker 1: 10 yards back further, uh, analytics teams go for two.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Now more often a team's down 14, they get a
- 5:15Speaker 1: touchdown and, uh, you know, late in the game, it's
- 5:18Speaker 1: supposed to go for two. That's, that's the analytics long-term
- 5:22Speaker 1: proven method. There is to go for the two right
- 5:24Speaker 1: then and there.
- 5:25Speaker 2: So I think the jets did it a couple of weeks, shocked.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Everyone that Aaron Glenn was actually that smart to do
- 5:29Speaker 1: something like that. Um, You know, if I rate teams too,
- 5:32Speaker 1: people were asking me, oh, it was Kelly in Vegas.
- 5:34Speaker 1: She said, oh, Bill, who do you think is going
- 5:36Speaker 1: to win a Super Bowl? I don't care. It's week
- 5:39Speaker 1: to week. Do I have a favorite to win? Maybe
- 5:43Speaker 1: the Rams are the best team. I don't know. I
- 5:45Speaker 1: really don't have a favorite team to win the Super Bowl.
- 5:48Speaker 1: My stuff is mostly props week to week. Now, I
- 5:50Speaker 1: do bet futures over underseason wins. As a matter of fact,
- 5:55Speaker 1: to be blunt, I wasn't planning on doing this, but
- 5:58Speaker 1: I actually bet a couple futures today. Now, when I
- 6:02Speaker 1: say futures, I bet over under on you could bet
- 6:06Speaker 1: regular season wins still now as.
- 6:09Speaker 2: The weeks go on.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Some of the sports books like BetMGM, Caesars, I believe Fandle, DraftKings,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and I'm sure some places back. I almost said back home.
- 6:19Speaker 1: East Coast will always be back home to me. I
- 6:22Speaker 1: think they have these regular season wins. So I bet
- 6:26Speaker 1: the Falcons over 7.5 minus $ 1.
- 6:30Speaker 2: 45. I bet the.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Ravens under 11.5 plus $ 1.
- 6:34Speaker 2: 10.
- 6:35Speaker 1: And I bet the Bears over 9.5 minus $ 1.
- 6:38Speaker 2: 45.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Bears have a tough schedule, though. They have a tough schedule,
- 6:41Speaker 1: but I still think they're going to win 10 games.
- 6:43Speaker 1: So that's the three that I bet. I just bet them.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I bet the Falcons in person this morning. I bet
- 6:50Speaker 1: the Ravens and Bears... on an app last night. So
- 6:54Speaker 1: that's just some things that just spontaneously telling you guys.
- 6:58Speaker 2: But as far as the team.
- 6:59Speaker 1: To win the Super Bowl, you know, if you bet
- 7:00Speaker 1: into these one-way markets, like team to win the Super
- 7:04Speaker 1: Bowl plus 20 to one, the real odds should be
- 7:07Speaker 1: 30 to one. So you're playing with like 50%. You're
- 7:10Speaker 1: playing with like, I'll just, I'll be kind of fair.
- 7:14Speaker 2: You're playing with a 30% house edge.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Compared to just betting the team over under, you know,
- 7:19Speaker 1: where you're playing with less than 10% house edge. Actually,
- 7:22Speaker 1: I'm playing with an edge because I see some different markets.
- 7:27Speaker 1: And I'm playing with an edge because this comes from
- 7:29Speaker 1: an analytics-driven. I'm not betting every single one of them.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I'm only betting the ones that me and my.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Guys come up with to play.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So the betting to those one-way markets, real tough, guys.
- 7:42Speaker 1: If you want to have some fun for a peanut,
- 7:44Speaker 1: like I tell you, I know you're going.
- 7:45Speaker 2: To bet those big giant parlays anyway. I get it.
- 7:49Speaker 1: You want to bet $ 100 on a game. You want
- 7:51Speaker 1: to bet $ 5 on a six-teamer. Go ahead, eight-teamer, ten-teamer.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. It's a waste of money. But
- 7:59Speaker 1: I know long-term it's a waste of money, but I
- 8:01Speaker 1: get it.
- 8:02Speaker 2: It's fun.
- 8:03Speaker 1: It's fun. I used to play those little parlay cards.
- 8:05Speaker 1: You used to rip them off and rip off the
- 8:08Speaker 1: bottom perforated ledge and hand it in to your guy.
- 8:12Speaker 1: And that was a fun thing to do. That's how
- 8:14Speaker 1: I first started probably gambling. was betting those parlay cards
- 8:18Speaker 1: when I was in my single digit age, because our
- 8:21Speaker 1: parents didn't know any better. Hey, pick one for a dollar,
- 8:23Speaker 1: a dollar to win 10 bucks. And same thing going
- 8:26Speaker 1: to like the racetrack. And like, it's funny, I went
- 8:30Speaker 1: to breakfast this morning with someone that actually, I put
- 8:32Speaker 1: a note in my phone. So it's going, oh yeah,
- 8:34Speaker 1: here it is. Be careful, it's funny. When you get
- 8:38Speaker 1: a little bit older and you start putting notes on
- 8:42Speaker 1: your phone, what to talk about certain things, So the
- 8:46Speaker 1: note I put here was be careful taking friends or
- 8:49Speaker 1: family to gambling establishments or gambling vacation destinations. Yes. So
- 8:55Speaker 1: just like he said, someone in his family did that.
- 9:00Speaker 1: That's what my dad and my uncle, you know, my
- 9:02Speaker 1: mother's family corrupted my father. They brought him to racetracks
- 9:07Speaker 1: and stuff. He really never really gambled until he met
- 9:09Speaker 1: my mom's family. But my dad did tell me that
- 9:14Speaker 1: when he was in the Navy, they did have.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Some gambling on the ships. They did.
- 9:18Speaker 1: So there was some gambling maybe before, but nothing like
- 9:22Speaker 1: when he met the Italians from the Bronx.
- 9:25Speaker 2: No other way to say it. So what I'm saying,
- 9:29Speaker 2: be careful.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Like I went to Monmouth Park when I was a
- 9:32Speaker 1: kid And I was betting those little parlay cards in
- 9:36Speaker 1: the weekend for a dollar to win 10.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Monmouth Park, two bucks on an exact debt. That's what happened.
- 9:42Speaker 1: You know, you guys do the same thing. I know
- 9:44Speaker 1: yous do. You remember your first score. My first score
- 9:48Speaker 1: was Miss Self and Tinsley's Dream. That's the two horses.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Exact debt, Monmouth. I don't know how I even come
- 9:54Speaker 1: up with it. And I paid 400 bucks. You know,
- 9:58Speaker 1: I'm whatever, 10, 12 years. old. And that's all I
- 10:02Speaker 1: had to do. I get a taste of that.
- 10:04Speaker 2: It was all over. I think I gave my dad $ 200.
- 10:07Speaker 1: I kept $ 200. And that's a lot of money. This
- 10:10Speaker 1: is back in the 80s, early 80s. This might have
- 10:13Speaker 1: been like 79, actually, the more I think about it.
- 10:17Speaker 1: So I found myself going to racetracks at a young
- 10:21Speaker 1: age on my own, taking buses and stuff, saying, oh,
- 10:25Speaker 1: this is easy.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I was a little degen.
- 10:27Speaker 1: So be careful taking people away on vacation that don't
- 10:30Speaker 1: gamble and get a little bit of that gambling bug.
- 10:33Speaker 1: That's what I'm basically saying. Guys, I have a couple
- 10:37Speaker 1: different subjects that I want to talk about. I'm going
- 10:39Speaker 1: to bring on Randy, too, to talk about some subjects, too.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Let me just get into my....
- 10:45Speaker 2: I was going to do WagerWire. We'll do WagerWire with Randy.
- 10:49Speaker 1: You know, we have some situations here in town that
- 10:54Speaker 1: are just amazing. This first one I want to get
- 10:57Speaker 1: into is... Well, it's not really in town. This was
- 11:00Speaker 1: a gaming summit with Michael Jordan.
- 11:04Speaker 2: That's right.
- 11:05Speaker 1: The Michael Jordan, the basketball Hall of Fame, best player
- 11:07Speaker 1: in basketball ever.
- 11:09Speaker 2: That's the debate, right? But that's what... I'm an old
- 11:12Speaker 2: school guy. He's the best player ever.
- 11:14Speaker 1: So... This was a gaming summit in Lisbon over the weekend.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Let me tell you, the people that were on this panel,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I'm pretty shocked. There's Michael Jordan. If you guys remember,
- 11:25Speaker 1: Michael Jordan was a gambler. But you could see the
- 11:28Speaker 1: people on the panel there, Jason Robbins, DraftKings CEO, one
- 11:33Speaker 1: of the founders, Michael Jordan. And there's also the founder
- 11:37Speaker 1: of SportsRadar, Karsten Karl.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I hope I'm saying your name right, buddy.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And then there's a broadcast and sports journalism company.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Kirstie Gallagher.
- 11:47Speaker 1: So this, this was a interesting, I find it interesting
- 11:50Speaker 1: that Michael Jordan would talk at one of these kind
- 11:54Speaker 1: of seminars.
- 11:55Speaker 2: He's a gambler.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You understand he's gambled millions and millions of dollars on
- 11:58Speaker 1: the golf course. And, you know, I think he actually
- 12:00Speaker 1: even admits to it now. So this gaming summit in Portugal,
- 12:04Speaker 1: I find this very interesting because of course, Michael Jordan
- 12:08Speaker 1: is saying, I'm going to read, I'm going to quote
- 12:10Speaker 1: him here. And Michael said, as a player, I never
- 12:14Speaker 1: were focused on anything people said only on playing that
- 12:19Speaker 1: day and winning. I was never focused on betting also.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Of course, we know that.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Michael Jordan's never been involved in betting scandals when he
- 12:27Speaker 1: was a player. But I thought it was pretty interesting
- 12:31Speaker 1: that he said fans want to be part of the outcome. However,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I never paid attention to anyone just to try to
- 12:36Speaker 1: win the game. Well, what else would Michael Jordan say? Obviously,
- 12:40Speaker 1: he's only going to say that. And he said, today's
- 12:43Speaker 1: players have more to worry about than just the game.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Jordan did acknowledge that today's athletes operate in a fundamentally
- 12:49Speaker 1: different environment. When he played, he said the equation was
- 12:52Speaker 1: comparatively uncomplicated. Either win the game.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Or you don't.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Today, you have to build a brand. You have to
- 13:00Speaker 1: worry about what numbers are in terms of the financial
- 13:04Speaker 1: rewards you're going to get at the end of your contract.
- 13:07Speaker 2: That's interesting. Jordan said.
- 13:10Speaker 1: He argued that those additional considerations can potentially pull away
- 13:15Speaker 1: attention from the team, the team sport.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Definitely.
- 13:18Speaker 1: There's more individualized worry about themselves than everything.
- 13:24Speaker 2: We see that everywhere.
- 13:25Speaker 1: But we've seen that even back then a little bit.
- 13:28Speaker 1: You know, Barry Sanders was great. He used to just
- 13:30Speaker 1: take the ball when he got a touchdown, just hand
- 13:32Speaker 1: it right to the referee.
- 13:33Speaker 2: What a what a class guy. You know, there was
- 13:37Speaker 2: Walter Payton.
- 13:38Speaker 1: These are the two some of the two of the
- 13:40Speaker 1: best running backs of all time, if not the best.
- 13:43Speaker 1: It just it is different. You know, Jordan says, I'm
- 13:46Speaker 1: glad I was born at a time that I was born.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Although he insisted his own approach would probably have remained unchanged.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I'm very true to the game. So I don't think
- 13:54Speaker 1: I would have changed my perspective about the game. Robbins
- 13:57Speaker 1: pushed back the CEO of draft Kings, who throws everyone
- 14:00Speaker 1: out with a pulse.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Um, He said, he.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Pushed back saying, bettors can yell at the players and
- 14:08Speaker 1: said the company works with leagues and teams to identify
- 14:11Speaker 1: problematic customers, potentially warning or banning them. But he argued
- 14:14Speaker 1: that intense scrutiny of athletes long predates legalized sports betting.
- 14:19Speaker 2: You know, I believe Jason there.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's horrible that people are yelling at the
- 14:25Speaker 1: players and for their individual props and stuff. They should
- 14:28Speaker 1: be banned from the arenas and maybe even the sports
- 14:32Speaker 1: betting sites. So um, people were yelling more at Michael
- 14:35Speaker 1: because they didn't like what he was doing, uh, before
- 14:38Speaker 1: they were betting on it. Robin says, um, maybe if
- 14:41Speaker 1: they were fans of the opposite team. So he was prepared.
- 14:45Speaker 1: It doesn't take the amazing Crespin to come up with
- 14:48Speaker 1: these lines though.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Uh, you know, this is a.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Guy that let's not ever forget what Jason Robin said.
- 14:53Speaker 1: We don't want players that win. And this is to
- 14:57Speaker 1: my point of Jason, let's just let, Just stay far
- 15:01Speaker 1: away from the media. Take your billion dollars and run.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Don't talk because you're going to only cost the company money.
- 15:07Speaker 1: It's a public company. It's a publicly traded company. It
- 15:11Speaker 1: won't be any time in the near future that DraftKings
- 15:14Speaker 1: will be sponsoring anything I do. But thank God, I
- 15:16Speaker 1: don't have to worry about that either. Where a lot
- 15:19Speaker 1: of people that host shows, oh my God, be careful.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Don't ever say anything about companies.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. That'll be the time I do that. Uh,
- 15:27Speaker 2: you know what we're going to do?
- 15:28Speaker 1: Let's, I have a bunch of subjects that I think
- 15:30Speaker 1: Randy will be interested to talk about.
- 15:32Speaker 2: So let's bring on Randy.
- 15:34Speaker 1: All right, Randy, I brought you back on. I was
- 15:36Speaker 1: going to, I was going to bring about, I had
- 15:37Speaker 1: about four or five subjects to talk about before you
- 15:39Speaker 1: came on, but I said, you know what? I think,
- 15:42Speaker 1: I think, uh, you're good for this one. I think you're, Oh,
- 15:45Speaker 1: you got your grandissimo hat. Something tells me you survived
- 15:48Speaker 1: this week. Who do we have?
- 15:50Speaker 2: I forget. Minnesota.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Last week we had Minnesota.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Yep.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:55Speaker 3: My shirt for Matt Donovan. He's starting to maybe come
- 15:59Speaker 3: out of the coma a little bit. Oh, good. I
- 16:02Speaker 3: was going to maybe share a link to if people
- 16:04Speaker 3: wanted to help. They've raised $ 110, 000 for him so far.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Oh, nice, nice, nice. What is it, Randy? Do you
- 16:11Speaker 2: have it?
- 16:12Speaker 3: They're doing a GoFundMe. I can put the link on
- 16:14Speaker 3: my Twitter at RR39.
- 16:17Speaker 1: RR39.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I've already given quite a bit, but of course
- 16:20Speaker 3: it would be nice if other people wanted to help
- 16:22Speaker 3: maybe a little bit.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Sure, I'll do that. I'll do that myself.
- 16:26Speaker 3: I went three and one in the picks. It's too bad.
- 16:28Speaker 3: You know, I gave out a, gave out a football.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I gave out a NCA over. So unfortunately I gave
- 16:35Speaker 3: out that saints is only a loser.
- 16:37Speaker 1: I had, wait, there's saints again.
- 16:38Speaker 2: The saints again, we're a loss.
- 16:40Speaker 1: What the hell?
- 16:41Speaker 2: They look so good. The first week.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:43Speaker 3: We're not using them this week.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Okay, good, good.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So I got a couple of subjects to go over
- 16:49Speaker 1: what you hear. And yeah, so the first one would be,
- 16:54Speaker 1: Hold on a minute. I just want to give out
- 16:57Speaker 1: something here because something didn't look right on this.
- 17:00Speaker 2: This was my WagerWire segment.
- 17:02Speaker 1: It's just because the Chiefs look so good, but I
- 17:04Speaker 1: guess the Chiefs are a bigger favorite.
- 17:06Speaker 2: That's why this is not worth it.
- 17:08Speaker 1: So this guy bet $ 30 to win $ 3, 800, two-team parlay, 126-1.
- 17:10Speaker 2: And the first leg hit a 6.5-1 favorite. I'm sorry, 6.5-1 dog,
- 17:12Speaker 2: but he hit it, so he's not.
- 17:22Speaker 1: So now he hit the first one and he had
- 17:23Speaker 1: a draw in Norway versus England. The second leg, which
- 17:27Speaker 1: he needs to win the parlay, is Kansas City Chiefs
- 17:29Speaker 1: to win the Super Bowl. And I guess there's so
- 17:32Speaker 1: much of a favorite now because they're 4-0. Because I
- 17:37Speaker 1: thought this was only $ 348 bet value. I'm saying, wait,
- 17:43Speaker 1: that's got to be worth more than that. But he
- 17:44Speaker 1: only bet $ 30. So he's already getting 10X, a little
- 17:47Speaker 1: over 10X, $ 318 profits. A little over 10X is his
- 17:53Speaker 1: original stake. Now, should he bet the 348? Now, it's
- 17:57Speaker 1: worth 348 to win 3825. Well, that's just the answer.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Can you get 13 to 1? I haven't looked, guys.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I haven't looked.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I've seen, according to the WagerWire email, they got 10.
- 18:09Speaker 1: There's 10 to 1 out there. So if it's 10
- 18:12Speaker 1: to 1, maybe he should.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Take a piece right now.
- 18:16Speaker 1: But according to WagerWire bet value of 348, In other words,
- 18:21Speaker 1: 10 to 1, 348 times 10 to 1 would be 3480.
- 18:22Speaker 2: It's worth 37 to win 37.95. So it's pretty close
- 18:23Speaker 2: right now. It's real simple.
- 18:24Speaker 1: If the odds to win the Super Bowl... are greater
- 18:36Speaker 1: than 13 or 13 and one are better than no,
- 18:39Speaker 1: this is worth.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Nothing to me. I can just bet them on my own.
- 18:42Speaker 1: However, uh, if it's 10 to one, maybe this is
- 18:45Speaker 1: worth a little bit, take a little piece or even
- 18:47Speaker 1: buy it because instead of, uh, you know, you're actually getting, um,
- 18:51Speaker 1: you're actually getting 11 to one here.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Let's just round it up. We're 11 to one.
- 18:55Speaker 1: So if it's not that that's, that's the answer when
- 18:57Speaker 1: it comes down to, One leg left in a parlay.
- 19:01Speaker 1: This is a pretty simple one to do the math on. So, guys, WagerWire.com,
- 19:05Speaker 1: the WagerWire app. I wanted to talk to you about that. But, Randy,
- 19:08Speaker 1: I have some other subjects to talk to you about.
- 19:12Speaker 3: I believe the Chiefs were 18-1, I think, preseason.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Let me just look on BetMGM right now just to see.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I had them up recently. So let me just look
- 19:23Speaker 1: at NFL futures, and we'll see what they are on here.
- 19:28Speaker 1: All right.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Chiefs.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Wow. Maybe the Chiefs are, all right, they're 11-1. So
- 19:34Speaker 1: that shows me, if they're 11-1 there without me shopping,
- 19:38Speaker 1: I could probably get 12-1 or maybe even 13-1 in
- 19:41Speaker 1: a rogue place.
- 19:42Speaker 2: But they're a marquee team, so I don't know about that.
- 19:45Speaker 1: So again, they're right on spot, spot on for money.
- 19:49Speaker 1: If you could search for a little bit more uh
- 19:52Speaker 1: betting some better odds maybe you can get some better
- 19:55Speaker 1: odds here randy i want to talk about some subjects
- 19:57Speaker 1: here with you okay this this subject bothers the f
- 20:01Speaker 1: out of me you know did you see the show
- 20:04Speaker 1: girls beating up the tourist did you see that video
- 20:07Speaker 1: this week Yeah.
- 20:08Speaker 3: They didn't get tipped enough or something, probably.
- 20:10Speaker 2: They didn't get tipped enough. Yeah, exactly right.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Boy, they are really pester. If you walk the Strip
- 20:16Speaker 3: or even downtown now, just try to avoid them girls.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Feathers fly, it says here. They had the showgirls.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Thing, and they felt they didn't get tipped enough. Or
- 20:28Speaker 1: they might have got sniffed even. I don't know what
- 20:31Speaker 1: actually happened because it's not out there yet. The girls
- 20:33Speaker 1: have to go to court December 3rd. These two girls,
- 20:37Speaker 1: the one girl, oh, boy, she looks like a tough one.
- 20:40Speaker 1: She looks like if me or you had a wig
- 20:42Speaker 1: on and some feathers, I don't think we.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Could take her. She looks tough. So, yeah, she looks really.
- 20:48Speaker 2: But anyway, boy, they beat down.
- 20:50Speaker 1: The guy was blood everywhere. They were beating the girl up.
- 20:53Speaker 1: And then there was like blood all over. You know,
- 20:55Speaker 1: when you get hit in certain areas, you bleed a
- 20:57Speaker 1: lot more. It looks a lot worse than it is.
- 20:59Speaker 1: But this was a bad look for Las Vegas, and
- 21:02Speaker 1: it was on TMZ. So I'm not trying to spread
- 21:04Speaker 1: the bad news, but it was on TMZ. So, yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 1: I didn't like what I seen here.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I didn't like that. As you can see here, I mean,
- 21:14Speaker 2: look at that. It's just awful. That's pretty bad, isn't it?
- 21:19Speaker 3: Looks like it's right out in front of Planet Hollywood.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Yeah, look, beating up the girl.
- 21:22Speaker 1: The guy comes over, and he's bloody his face.
- 21:24Speaker 3: There he comes. There she comes with the other.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Man.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Like I tell people, just avoid them, avoid them, gals,
- 21:33Speaker 3: even if you have too many drinks. Trust me, they
- 21:36Speaker 3: don't look as good as when they get closer to you.
- 21:40Speaker 3: They're not attractive, and they're always trying to hustle you
- 21:44Speaker 3: for a 20 or two too much probably.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It's just part of the reasons why.
- 21:48Speaker 1: You just have to watch your head. Like Gil says,
- 21:52Speaker 1: my buddy Gil Alexander, you have to keep your head
- 21:55Speaker 1: on a swivel in Vegas. But this is not even
- 21:58Speaker 1: head on a swivel. This wasn't a crime until they
- 22:02Speaker 1: asked to take a photo with them. Now, I don't
- 22:06Speaker 1: know the rule. I think it's tipping only. They can't charge.
- 22:11Speaker 1: But they do have to get a license to have
- 22:14Speaker 1: that on the strip. It's funny, I seen a Minnie
- 22:18Speaker 1: Mouse with the head off smoking the other day.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Mickey or Minnie. I think it was Minnie, though. She
- 22:24Speaker 2: had pink.
- 22:26Speaker 1: And I was just like, wow, look at that. They
- 22:27Speaker 1: just take the head off and they start smoking. You know, like,
- 22:32Speaker 1: I don't know. I guess they're doing nothing wrong.
- 22:35Speaker 3: You don't.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Know who's under those costumes.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Yeah, the best one is that gorilla at downtown. Have
- 22:45Speaker 3: you ever seen that dancing gorilla?
- 22:47Speaker 2: Oh, a giant gorilla.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Yeah. He's the best one.
- 22:50Speaker 3: He's really entertaining.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fun to do a video with him or something. Yeah, yeah.
- 22:57Speaker 2: It's fun, and you got to give him some money.
- 22:58Speaker 1: But the problem with these girls sometimes, you give them
- 23:01Speaker 1: five bucks, it's not enough.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Five bucks each.
- 23:03Speaker 1: You're using your camera, you're taking two minutes out of
- 23:06Speaker 1: your time, and five bucks is, or ten bucks, ten bucks.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I guess ten's the right number. Ten bucks is not enough.
- 23:12Speaker 1: They want 20 and they'll say something to you, even
- 23:14Speaker 1: though it's actually, that's when it crosses the line of
- 23:17Speaker 1: being legal and illegal is when they say, that's not enough.
- 23:21Speaker 2: It's $ 20, you know? So.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Downtown, there's actually a little booth that they must have
- 23:26Speaker 3: to pay to do it. Cause they're in the circles downtown.
- 23:29Speaker 2: The circles.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Right. They have circles. You have to stay with, stay
- 23:33Speaker 1: within your circle.
- 23:35Speaker 3: And there's a little booth that right by the downtown
- 23:38Speaker 3: grand I seen with, they must have to pay a commission.
- 23:41Speaker 3: a little bit of money to do it.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Right, right, right, right. This was interesting.
- 23:47Speaker 1: So this is Blue Chip Casino cameras catch a woman
- 23:51Speaker 1: trying to cash an already paid out sports bet. Now,
- 23:56Speaker 1: the story with this is the original bettor had already
- 23:59Speaker 1: received the $ 1, 393 paid through Blue Chips Gaming lost ticket procedure.
- 24:04Speaker 1: He lost the ticket, which, Randy, I've done that. I
- 24:08Speaker 1: lost a ticket at the M one time. Oh, you have. Yeah.
- 24:11Speaker 1: So if we're losing tickets, what shot, you know, I'm
- 24:14Speaker 1: just saying, I've lost a ticket, but right away I
- 24:16Speaker 1: take pictures of my, I take photos of my tickets
- 24:18Speaker 1: that I'm having long-term or whatever it may be. That's
- 24:21Speaker 1: why you give your player card. Some people get mad
- 24:23Speaker 1: when they ask for a player card for the ticket.
- 24:26Speaker 1: darn it, it protects the players sometimes.
- 24:28Speaker 2: You know what I mean? So it actually protects the
- 24:31Speaker 2: players is what it does because in case you lose
- 24:34Speaker 2: your ticket or whatever.
- 24:34Speaker 1: I know, of course, they want your number so they
- 24:37Speaker 1: can identify you in case you're betting something sharp.
- 24:40Speaker 2: But it also has– go ahead.
- 24:42Speaker 3: I got a better story. Mine was at the Hilton,
- 24:44Speaker 3: now the Westgate. And young ticket writer Matt Medcalf helped
- 24:50Speaker 3: me recover my ticket and get paid. No, no good friend.
- 24:56Speaker 3: And of course she used to run the circus sports.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:00Speaker 1: He, he, uh, so he actually helped you. He actually
- 25:03Speaker 1: helped you get the ticket. I'm just want to look
- 25:04Speaker 1: at the odds here real quick. Uh, I may lose
- 25:07Speaker 1: you for a second.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Yep.
- 25:09Speaker 1: All right, but I want to check out the odds
- 25:10Speaker 1: because we're going to go over some games, so I
- 25:12Speaker 1: want to pull up the odds. You can still hear me, though.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Metcalf out of the business now, right, Randy? He's out
- 25:17Speaker 1: of the business?
- 25:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I haven't heard from him in a while. I
- 25:20Speaker 3: should ask Benson what he's up to. Benson would know,
- 25:23Speaker 3: and he's probably out there maybe firing somewhere. You never
- 25:26Speaker 3: know about him.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Well, he was a better, too, so I guess he
- 25:30Speaker 2: was a better also.
- 25:32Speaker 1: You know, last night, one of our mutual friends sent
- 25:36Speaker 1: me a text saying, saying he had a hard time
- 25:39Speaker 1: trying to make a sports bet.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I guess you know about this, right? At Boomers. And
- 25:45Speaker 2: he was real mad.
- 25:46Speaker 1: He said they canceled the bet on him.
- 25:48Speaker 2: And it was a widely available number. I guess it
- 25:52Speaker 2: was plus three and a half. Did he tell you
- 25:54Speaker 2: anything about that?
- 25:55Speaker 3: No, I didn't hear about that. But from my experience
- 25:59Speaker 3: at Boomers, if you're betting during the day and Nick's
- 26:01Speaker 3: still working, the bets get approved a little easier. Yeah.
- 26:05Speaker 3: You're not betting and you're betting a different hours. It's,
- 26:08Speaker 3: it's tough to get them approved. Cause usually Nick takes,
- 26:11Speaker 3: Nick will take the bigger bets and always usually approve them.
- 26:15Speaker 3: You know, he knows. I think maybe I get maybe
- 26:18Speaker 3: an extra dime or something sometimes.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Um, but yeah, so, so he got real mad though,
- 26:24Speaker 1: because they, they, they, um, here, I'll just show you,
- 26:27Speaker 1: I'll just show you what I just figured you knew.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Cause it's, it's actually your friend. Um, and it's like, yeah.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Yeah, look at this.
- 26:38Speaker 1: So Boomers, he tried to get 1,100 plus three and
- 26:41Speaker 1: a half, or his friend did, and they re-offered $ 40.
- 26:42Speaker 1: $ 40 to win 44 on a widely... It's a 105 line,
- 26:44Speaker 1: but the traders re-offered him $ 44. You know, some people.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Commented me to me and said something to me on
- 27:05Speaker 1: when I said, have these, these people that are the
- 27:08Speaker 1: people that are working in the sports books and have
- 27:09Speaker 1: the balls to do what I'm trying to say is
- 27:12Speaker 1: I'm not making fun of anyone in the casino, but
- 27:14Speaker 1: it's just so hard to make money. Randy, you see
- 27:16Speaker 1: what happened to me at resorts world. They cheated me
- 27:19Speaker 1: last week. You've seen that yourself. I just had trouble
- 27:22Speaker 1: with a sports book in town. A couple of days later,
- 27:24Speaker 1: I'm not going to mention the book. I'm working to
- 27:27Speaker 1: get myself back in, but, They said, Bill, you're beating
- 27:31Speaker 1: us to numbers, and we don't want... Basically, let me
- 27:35Speaker 1: put it in layman's terms. We don't want anybody that
- 27:38Speaker 1: beats us to numbers. We actually like you, but we
- 27:41Speaker 1: just don't want anyone that beats us to numbers. It
- 27:43Speaker 1: just gets harder and harder. I have to beg sportsbooks...
- 27:50Speaker 1: to post my money lay 11 to 10 and you
- 27:53Speaker 1: hope i drop dead next week so i don't have
- 27:55Speaker 1: to cash the money out of the account and you
- 27:56Speaker 1: get to keep it that's let's just call when it
- 27:59Speaker 1: is what it is uh so it it it's aggravating
- 28:03Speaker 1: man and to see like dave sent me this and
- 28:05Speaker 1: said you know this happened over there it just it.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Bothers me now already we know joe.
- 28:11Speaker 1: Asher when he was the ceo william hill he didn't
- 28:14Speaker 1: he was throwing people out left and right anyone with
- 28:16Speaker 1: a pulse so I didn't know boomers was doing that
- 28:19Speaker 1: or reducing people to nothing.
- 28:20Speaker 2: And listen, Nick's doing the right thing.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Nick, I get it. Just take their money. Nick, just
- 28:26Speaker 1: take that six figures a year.
- 28:27Speaker 2: He's paying you. Don't even bother with us guys complaining.
- 28:30Speaker 3: I get it.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Just make the money. However you can make it. I
- 28:33Speaker 2: get it. I get it.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:34Speaker 3: I used to set up downtown when it was William Hill,
- 28:36Speaker 3: you know, they'd had about five, six sports books and
- 28:39Speaker 3: they wouldn't prove 500, $ 500 bets. You could just bet
- 28:42Speaker 3: and walk away.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 28:43Speaker 3: So I'd get a good number on something and, you know,
- 28:46Speaker 3: buddy would text me that's watching the screen and, you know,
- 28:49Speaker 3: get 500 down at five, six places. You got a
- 28:52Speaker 3: three K bet. So it worked out pretty good.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Randy.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I remember this has been going on forever.
- 28:56Speaker 3: That's a good exercise.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 1: It's much more prevalent now though. But I remember years ago,
- 29:01Speaker 1: I went over to the Fremont, the Fremont. I was
- 29:04Speaker 1: at the golden nugget watching the super bowl and the
- 29:06Speaker 1: Fremont had a seven flat on the super bowl. It
- 29:09Speaker 1: was like six and a half minus 15, six and
- 29:11Speaker 1: a half everywhere. They had a seven. So I, I
- 29:15Speaker 1: run over there to bet. Well, not physically run, but
- 29:18Speaker 1: it's right across the street. So I go over there,
- 29:20Speaker 1: and I want to get that seven. I'm moving fast, though,
- 29:23Speaker 1: and I want to get that seven. It's a great line.
- 29:26Speaker 1: There's no other sevens. I go over there, and I
- 29:29Speaker 1: go to bet the seven, and I said, I'd like
- 29:32Speaker 1: to get 11,000 to win 10 plus seven. The guy's like, yeah,
- 29:37Speaker 1: we're not accepting bets on that side of the game.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Right now and the super bowl what.
- 29:45Speaker 1: What do you mean goes yeah they don't want no
- 29:47Speaker 1: bets on the dog just a favor that happened on
- 29:49Speaker 1: the super bowl if we have a bible and i
- 29:52Speaker 1: know i have a bible in this room i take
- 29:53Speaker 1: the bible out put my hand on the bible i
- 29:55Speaker 1: really would that's exactly what happened you imagine a sports
- 29:58Speaker 1: book putting up a seven and saying you can only
- 30:01Speaker 1: bet the favorite.
- 30:02Speaker 2: They're known to do that, though. A lot of the
- 30:04Speaker 2: casinos are known to do that.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Not so much on straight games. That's the only time
- 30:09Speaker 1: I've ever seen that happen, actually. It was on the
- 30:11Speaker 1: Super Bowl. but they're known to do that in the
- 30:14Speaker 1: parlay cards. You ever see the parlay cards? They're minus
- 30:17Speaker 1: six and a half, and you go to bet the
- 30:19Speaker 1: six and a half. I'm sorry. We can only take
- 30:22Speaker 1: the other side. I can do that any given weekend.
- 30:24Speaker 1: I can make a video about that and show how
- 30:26Speaker 1: Stations does that, how Coast does that. Boy, you can
- 30:29Speaker 1: only bet that side. Now, a couple books now, I've
- 30:33Speaker 1: got to give my guests a little bit. They take
- 30:35Speaker 1: the whole game off the board, but it's funny when
- 30:38Speaker 1: they say, yeah, we don't want that side.
- 30:39Speaker 3: We don't want the other side. Especially on the parlay cards.
- 30:43Speaker 3: They don't like nut peddlers coming in and just taking
- 30:45Speaker 3: all the, uh, of course, uh, Fezzik made a good living. Everybody,
- 30:50Speaker 3: Steve Fennec over the years doing that.
- 30:53Speaker 2: I've done good on them too.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:55Speaker 3: I've done some of that as well.
- 30:59Speaker 1: We actually did good on parlay cards over the years.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I've actually done very well. Um, Delaware racetrack, walk me
- 31:06Speaker 1: to the door. I remember going down the escalator with
- 31:09Speaker 1: security and I had tickets to cash. They said, they
- 31:11Speaker 1: don't want you in here today. You have to come
- 31:13Speaker 1: back to catch the ticket. I mean, wow, they threw
- 31:16Speaker 1: me out at Delaware racetrack for betting parlay cards. But anyway,
- 31:20Speaker 1: I thought it was an interesting story about this woman
- 31:22Speaker 1: was trying to cash a ticket that was already cashed,
- 31:25Speaker 1: but she actually was arrested for it.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I find that pretty interesting. So it was a stolen ticket.
- 31:32Speaker 1: So anyway, It's amazing that they charged her with a
- 31:36Speaker 1: level six felony, which is cheating at gaming and misdemeanor
- 31:40Speaker 1: possession of paraphernalia. Oh, yeah. Well, she looks like she
- 31:43Speaker 1: might have some paraphernalia. I mean, look, she looks real serious. But, yeah.
- 31:50Speaker 1: So the Indiana Gaming Commission was alerted to her attempt
- 31:53Speaker 1: to redeem the $ 1, 393 ticket. And the ticket belonged to
- 31:58Speaker 1: another man who reported it missing and received the winnings
- 32:01Speaker 1: through the sportsbook's lost ticket procedure. And I thought that
- 32:04Speaker 1: was pretty interesting that they arrested her.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I didn't know they arrested people. Maybe they know more about... Yeah,
- 32:10Speaker 2: they actually arrested her.
- 32:12Speaker 1: So speaking of lost ticket things, you want to know, Randy,
- 32:16Speaker 1: my wife wants to see Metallica, which I didn't want
- 32:18Speaker 1: to see.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Of course, you know me. You know me. I really
- 32:22Speaker 2: don't have a desire to see that.
- 32:23Speaker 1: They're great.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Go, Kelly. No, I get it.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I heard the show was unbelievable, too. I heard it
- 32:29Speaker 1: was unbelievable.
- 32:30Speaker 2: So now.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I buy two tickets on a section, and I had
- 32:37Speaker 1: real good seats. You know, I've been staking it out.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Real good seats right on, like, the first section up
- 32:45Speaker 1: in the front so I can look over the people
- 32:47Speaker 1: screaming and yelling, and I don't have to worry about
- 32:50Speaker 1: people standing in front of me.
- 32:51Speaker 2: So I really searched that out. I paid a lot
- 32:53Speaker 2: of money.
- 32:53Speaker 1: So I paid a lot of money for them, but
- 32:55Speaker 1: I got a good deal compared to the rest. And
- 32:57Speaker 1: I bought them last week after the Saturday show.
- 33:01Speaker 2: I bought them.
- 33:02Speaker 1: And I get an email today saying, I'm sorry, there
- 33:07Speaker 1: was an issue delivering your tickets. Replacement options are available.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I'm like, what?
- 33:13Speaker 3: StubHub?
- 33:14Speaker 2: What did you do to me? What do you mean replacement?
- 33:16Speaker 2: I don't buy tickets through StubHub.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I didn't really get there. They're a third-party provider. People
- 33:23Speaker 1: sell their tickets on there. So now, which really aggravates me,
- 33:28Speaker 1: these are the same exact seats are back up for sale,
- 33:33Speaker 1: 500 bucks more each. So if you see there, Section 101,
- 33:36Speaker 1: front of the row, aisle seats for $ 1, 234.
- 33:41Speaker 2: I paid about, they're $ 1, 234 each. I paid $ 750 each.
- 33:44Speaker 1: So they're back up on StubHub. What I'm trying to
- 33:47Speaker 1: say is, what a scam StubHub is. I got to say,
- 33:51Speaker 1: I got to blame them. I'm going through StubHub. Fan protection.
- 33:54Speaker 1: So they try to put you in different seats that
- 33:56Speaker 1: are comparable. Every one of them were much worse.
- 33:59Speaker 2: They wanted to give me comparable seats in the 400 section,
- 34:03Speaker 2: by the way. I just couldn't believe it.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Here, look at your fan protection guarantee. They tried to
- 34:10Speaker 1: give you some other seats, 407, 403, 101 or 108 seats.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Limited or obstructed views, row 24 and 34.
- 34:19Speaker 2: I had row one. I mean, what balls?
- 34:23Speaker 1: This company is no good. And by the way, there's
- 34:26Speaker 1: an 800 number. There's a local number. It goes to
- 34:29Speaker 1: a voicemail, and you get disconnected. There's nothing they do.
- 34:33Speaker 1: What a scam stuff. I never had no experience with this.
- 34:36Speaker 1: So I just, you know, their fan protection guarantee. That's
- 34:39Speaker 1: just kind of funny. So they did give me the money.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Back, but.
- 34:44Speaker 1: No, I'm sorry. It says 7 to 10 days to
- 34:47Speaker 1: get your money back. 7 to 10 business days. I'm
- 34:50Speaker 1: more pissed off that those tickets are back up again.
- 34:54Speaker 1: You can see the front row. They're back up for
- 34:57Speaker 1: 500 and some more. The same exact seats. How can
- 35:00Speaker 1: that be legal? It's definitely unethical. But StubHub, you guys
- 35:05Speaker 1: are rats.
- 35:06Speaker 3: I mean, you really are.
- 35:06Speaker 1: So now I have to get some seats. She doesn't
- 35:11Speaker 1: even know. I hope I didn't say it too loud.
- 35:16Speaker 1: She doesn't even know. Let's go back to having scalpers.
- 35:20Speaker 3: It always worked out better.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:23Speaker 1: I don't know why. I wasn't even planning to bring
- 35:25Speaker 1: that up on the show. I don't know how it
- 35:27Speaker 1: got brought up. Anyway, yeah, it's just something that's real bad.
- 35:30Speaker 1: A couple things. Oh, it started out with the tickets.
- 35:33Speaker 2: I know. Oh, this is a great subject. I love
- 35:35Speaker 2: this article. Who wrote this? Corey Levitan. I always love
- 35:38Speaker 2: his articles on casino.org.
- 35:40Speaker 1: So Corey Levitan wrote an article about Bugsy Siegel. Did
- 35:44Speaker 1: he introduce the mob to Vegas just like the movie
- 35:47Speaker 1: Bugsy says? Absolutely not. But I kind of knew that.
- 35:51Speaker 1: They were gambling 30 years before Bugsy got here. And
- 35:54Speaker 1: I mean, what they did was pretty interesting, though. The
- 35:58Speaker 1: mob was already here, actually, by the way.
- 36:00Speaker 2: They were here at the El Cortez. They were downtown.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Bugsy first came to town in 1940, a full five
- 36:07Speaker 1: and a half years before the Flamingo was thought about,
- 36:09Speaker 1: to invest in a northern club downtown for a piece
- 36:12Speaker 1: of the RaceWire market. So five years later, he and
- 36:15Speaker 1: his partner, Moe Sedway, launched their own RaceWire. called Transamerica,
- 36:19Speaker 1: through which they ran horse betting at the Frontier, the
- 36:22Speaker 1: Las Vegas Club.
- 36:23Speaker 2: The El Cortez, and other Las Vegas casinos.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Now, the race wire with that, Doug, was to keep
- 36:29Speaker 1: the illegal bookies and casinos in Nevada, which had just
- 36:32Speaker 1: legalized the off-track betting.
- 36:34Speaker 2: So they were already here making money.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Siegel and Segway then moved into other types of gambling,
- 36:40Speaker 1: took over the entire floor at the El Cortez. So
- 36:43Speaker 1: they were at the El Cortez first, running the entire
- 36:46Speaker 1: place for their East Coast boss, Meyer Lansky.
- 36:50Speaker 3: I was just going to say that the brains behind
- 36:52Speaker 3: Bugsy Siegel was Meyer Lansky.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Before the 1946 takeover of the Flamingo.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Unfortunately, Castro caused all that trouble in Cuba. That would
- 37:04Speaker 3: have been probably the nicest gambling destination in the world.
- 37:08Speaker 2: It was back then.
- 37:10Speaker 3: We could have done real well there in our lifetimes
- 37:13Speaker 3: had Castro not stepped up and taken that all away
- 37:16Speaker 3: from him. So then he was looking for another adventure,
- 37:19Speaker 3: which was Las Vegas.
- 37:21Speaker 2: You know, it says in this article, and I did not,
- 37:23Speaker 2: I've never heard this.
- 37:24Speaker 1: The first casino, 1910, I thought it was, where do
- 37:28Speaker 1: you stay downtown?
- 37:29Speaker 3: Golden Gate.
- 37:31Speaker 1: I thought it was Derek's place. This is saying the
- 37:34Speaker 1: first gambling joint was actually Ma and Pa Morris at
- 37:39Speaker 1: the Red Rooster.
- 37:40Speaker 2: And there they are in front of the Red Rooster.
- 37:43Speaker 2: I never heard of the Red Rooster. Randy, you were
- 37:45Speaker 2: around back then, weren't you?
- 37:47Speaker 3: I maybe saw some old video about the Red Rooster.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Somehow that's coming to my brain.
- 37:51Speaker 1: The Red Rooster became the first casino on Las Vegas.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sorry. The Las Vegas Strip. So they were
- 37:58Speaker 2: on their first casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
- 38:01Speaker 1: And they lost their license due to serving alcohol in
- 38:04Speaker 1: the casino.
- 38:05Speaker 2: I'm sure there was more to it than that.
- 38:07Speaker 1: But yeah, 1931, the Red Rooster became the first licensed
- 38:11Speaker 1: casino on the Strip.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Of course, we know Derek's place.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Was the first licensed casino down there, the Golden Gate.
- 38:19Speaker 1: They had, I think their ownership was from like San Francisco.
- 38:21Speaker 1: They had a partnership of many people. But this is
- 38:25Speaker 1: just a really cool article on, I never heard of
- 38:29Speaker 1: the Red Rooster. I've never seen photos of that. This
- 38:32Speaker 1: great article on, and Bugsy, this was not, that wasn't
- 38:36Speaker 1: their first casino, in other words.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Them are all casinos for the people from the workers
- 38:41Speaker 3: from Hoover Dam because you couldn't gamble in Boulder City.
- 38:45Speaker 3: And then on their days off, they needed somewhere to go.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Didn't they have going to the dam?
- 38:52Speaker 2: Wasn't that Railroad Pass?
- 38:54Speaker 1: Was it Railroad Pass?
- 38:55Speaker 3: I don't know if that was there then.
- 38:57Speaker 2: No, I thought it was a Hoover Dam Railroad Pass.
- 39:00Speaker 1: I could be wrong.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Some casinos are there now. There's a couple of them,
- 39:03Speaker 3: Railroad Pass. And then there's that one right by the dam, too.
- 39:07Speaker 1: How about that place? They have nine, six jacks or better.
- 39:09Speaker 1: So I go in there to give them a play.
- 39:11Speaker 1: They never even mailed me anything. And I put a
- 39:13Speaker 1: lot of money.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Through the machine. What's going on there?
- 39:17Speaker 1: Money laundering? I put a lot of money through the machine.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I never got anything. I even went in there again.
- 39:23Speaker 1: They said, yeah, I have nothing on your account. What's
- 39:27Speaker 1: going on there? Isn't it called the Boulder Creek Casino?
- 39:30Speaker 1: The Boulder Dam Casino or.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Something like that? Yeah, something like that.
- 39:33Speaker 2: What the frig?
- 39:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Randy, I've never been here.
- 39:37Speaker 2: How about this?
- 39:38Speaker 1: Another article on casino.org by Devin O'Connor. Want a casino job?
- 39:42Speaker 2: A new resort offering.
- 39:45Speaker 1: $ 2, 500 sign-on bonuses to be dealers. $ 2, 000 for the dealers, $ 2, 500
- 39:49Speaker 1: for the floor people. Cedar Crossing Casino in Cedar.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Rapids, Iowa. Let me ask you a question, Randy.
- 39:57Speaker 1: This is pretty close to Chicago.
- 40:01Speaker 2: I didn't even realize they had gambling there, but isn't
- 40:04Speaker 2: that cool? Look at that.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Yeah, Iowa has a lot of nice casinos. So, yeah,
- 40:08Speaker 3: I'm not surprised.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I'm surprised they're offering them kind of bonuses. They really are.
- 40:14Speaker 2: They're looking for the best.
- 40:15Speaker 1: The casino manager, Kim Pang, said the property mostly needs
- 40:19Speaker 1: dealers and floor supervisors. They're attracting experienced, top-level dealers and
- 40:24Speaker 1: floor supervisors.
- 40:26Speaker 2: So that's pretty cool.
- 40:27Speaker 3: There's a college there, too. University of Northern Iowa is there.
- 40:30Speaker 3: They're an FCS football team. Wonderful. They'll just bury all
- 40:34Speaker 3: the kids.
- 40:35Speaker 1: But that's another article I've seen up there. And the
- 40:41Speaker 1: last one I'm going to go over with you. You
- 40:43Speaker 1: know what? I had a couple other subject matter to
- 40:46Speaker 1: go over with you, though.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:48Speaker 1: I sent you that Las Vegas locally tweet. And that
- 40:53Speaker 1: was interesting. So now Treasure Island has hired this company. Now,
- 41:00Speaker 1: to be real blunt, I don't know about it enough to,
- 41:04Speaker 1: I'm not going to be mad at Treasure Island or
- 41:06Speaker 1: anything because I don't know, I'm going to read you
- 41:08Speaker 1: guys a tweet. Treasure Island just expanded its deal with
- 41:12Speaker 1: a company that uses AI to catch gamblers who win
- 41:15Speaker 1: too much. The Las Vegas firm OPTX was recently in
- 41:20Speaker 1: the news for helping another casino identify a slot player
- 41:25Speaker 1: who pocketed almost $ 2. 4 million in cash.
- 41:28Speaker 2: At a statistically implausible win rate. Oh, my God.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Randy, why do I root for a guy? Why do
- 41:33Speaker 1: I got to be the guy that roots for guys
- 41:34Speaker 1: like that?
- 41:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Yeah, me too.
- 41:36Speaker 2: These casinos do so much cheating. I like the root
- 41:39Speaker 2: of it.
- 41:40Speaker 1: So, anyways, OPTX says it has found $ 17 million in
- 41:44Speaker 1: winnings across several Las Vegas casinos. Those players also got
- 41:49Speaker 1: $ 5 million in free play. TI first brought in the
- 41:53Speaker 1: company in May to run the analytics on the slots.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Four months later, after using OPTX for its host marketing
- 42:00Speaker 1: and table games. So, now I look at that and
- 42:04Speaker 1: I say to myself, well.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Sure, this company is happy, and I really shouldn't pick
- 42:11Speaker 1: on the company.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 42:12Speaker 1: This is just a hypothesis. I'm sure they're telling them maybe...
- 42:18Speaker 1: just what they want to hear. Even if they're totally wrong,
- 42:22Speaker 1: it's got to be huge contracts. Randy, what's your take
- 42:26Speaker 1: on this? Hey, OPTX, what about the people that lose.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Their entire life savings and money?
- 42:34Speaker 1: You're going to tell them about that to try to
- 42:36Speaker 1: have some responsible gambling?
- 42:38Speaker 2: Give me a break. Go ahead, Randy.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Absolutely. These slot machines have a 6% to 10% hold.
- 42:44Speaker 3: If they can't figure out not to give gamblers enough
- 42:48Speaker 3: money to make so that they can make money on that,
- 42:53Speaker 3: it's on their own. Look in the mirror and improve
- 42:57Speaker 3: yourself here. If you can't win when you're giving out
- 43:01Speaker 3: a 6% to 10% hold in your favor, if you
- 43:04Speaker 3: can screw that up somehow, which they did with that promotion,
- 43:07Speaker 3: they already screwed up some of their hold for the year.
- 43:11Speaker 3: But if you can't improve enough, like Steve Wynn always said,
- 43:15Speaker 3: That's on us. If we can't protect our own games,
- 43:19Speaker 3: we deserve to lose in the casino. And, of course,
- 43:21Speaker 3: he never lost.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:24Speaker 1: I mean, I seen this and I said, oh, my God,
- 43:27Speaker 1: what is going on? More importantly.
- 43:30Speaker 3: And that was my old casino boss, by the way, Steve.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Let's get to the picks. People loving your
- 43:39Speaker 1: picks on the show, Randy. Listen, you always have a well-intentioned,
- 43:47Speaker 1: good foundation, winning gambler. Been thrown out of more casinos
- 43:51Speaker 1: than me, probably. So let's hear what you got this week.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 43:55Speaker 3: All right. Just got three. No college yet. Of course,
- 43:59Speaker 3: I'll tweet out college like I did last week.
- 44:02Speaker 2: I had a nice time.
- 44:03Speaker 3: On a Friday night game, so I tweeted that out,
- 44:06Speaker 3: so that worked out well. Unfortunately, we had the one loser.
- 44:10Speaker 3: I was going to have Corey put out the broom pitcher,
- 44:15Speaker 3: but no broom pitcher as far as this goes, but
- 44:18Speaker 3: hopefully we can get the broom out this week.
- 44:20Speaker 2: All right.
- 44:21Speaker 3: You know, I'm going to say be careful with these
- 44:23Speaker 3: road favorites this week. I didn't put them on my card,
- 44:26Speaker 3: but be careful with the Cincinnati at Miami and the
- 44:29Speaker 3: Houston 0-4 versus Miami. 0-4 Tennessee on the road here.
- 44:36Speaker 3: I'm too ugly dogs to make my card, but I
- 44:39Speaker 3: may bet them later as well. So I could also
- 44:43Speaker 3: tweet them out. But here's the three I got. And
- 44:45Speaker 3: the first one, I got the Pittsburgh Steelers at home
- 44:49Speaker 3: laying two and a half. I laid a one and
- 44:51Speaker 3: a half, but I still think it's good to use
- 44:53Speaker 3: a two and a half. For some reason, the Colts
- 44:56Speaker 3: are playing this week after playing in London, early morning
- 45:01Speaker 3: game in London. Teams can take a bye there and
- 45:05Speaker 3: they didn't take the bye. So Pittsburgh comes off a
- 45:08Speaker 3: Thursday game with way more rest and against a team
- 45:12Speaker 3: that has to travel back from England. So that's already
- 45:15Speaker 3: a big advantage right there. And that's been a big
- 45:18Speaker 3: win rate throughout the years. So that's been a good one.
- 45:22Speaker 3: And so I'm going to take the Pittsburgh Steelers. They
- 45:25Speaker 3: beat Indianapolis in this spot last year, 27 to 20.
- 45:28Speaker 3: So they have confidence against this team. So I'm even
- 45:32Speaker 3: willing to lay the two and a half here with
- 45:34Speaker 3: the pitchers.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Fandle has minus two and a half, minus 0.5. Circa
- 45:38Speaker 1: minus two and a half, minus 1.10. So there you go.
- 45:41Speaker 3: All right, second game. We'll go to another team that
- 45:47Speaker 3: played in England and didn't use their starting quarterback, but
- 45:51Speaker 3: he's supposed to be back this week. But again, they're
- 45:54Speaker 3: playing again after a London game, which Ari said in
- 45:58Speaker 3: the last game, is not a good issue to do that.
- 46:02Speaker 3: You can take a buy here. The NFL allows you
- 46:04Speaker 3: to take a buy after this travel spot. They did not.
- 46:07Speaker 3: So they're going to play their rival Giants here. And
- 46:11Speaker 3: the Giants are getting three and a half. Of course,
- 46:14Speaker 3: we don't know the quarterback status yet for Daniels. So
- 46:17Speaker 3: we might get that Greek kid, the third stringer. I'm
- 46:19Speaker 3: not going to try to pronounce his name. You guys
- 46:22Speaker 3: can put in the comments.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Kyle Flackish. There you go.
- 46:29Speaker 3: But the main issue here is Washington's defense. I'm sure
- 46:34Speaker 3: they got lucky with some turnovers against Seattle a couple
- 46:36Speaker 3: weeks ago. This defense is really bad. And I'm going
- 46:40Speaker 3: to take, even though I, you know, it's Jameis Winston.
- 46:43Speaker 3: He kind of keeps both teams in the game with
- 46:45Speaker 3: the way he plays sometimes.
- 46:46Speaker 2: He does.
- 46:47Speaker 3: But I'm going to take him in this situation because
- 46:51Speaker 3: I don't think Washington will get those turnovers. This will
- 46:53Speaker 3: be a close game, which I think even the Giants
- 46:55Speaker 3: can win. So, yeah. Plus three and a half seems
- 46:58Speaker 3: like a pretty good value.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Plus three and a half, right at circa. Plus three
- 47:02Speaker 2: and a half. Yeah, that's a great line, three and
- 47:06Speaker 2: a half.
- 47:06Speaker 1: All right, good. Nice dog there. What else you got?
- 47:10Speaker 3: All right, we're going to go to Monday Night Football,
- 47:12Speaker 3: even though it hasn't been real good to us yet
- 47:15Speaker 3: this season. We're going to take the L.A. Rams here.
- 47:18Speaker 3: I laid a two and a half juiced before moved
- 47:21Speaker 3: to three. It's okay at three, you know, just three–
- 47:24Speaker 3: I think there's a 305 or three even out there.
- 47:26Speaker 1: You can, you can, she's minus two and a half
- 47:28Speaker 1: minus 20. Okay.
- 47:29Speaker 3: You guys have calcium.
- 47:31Speaker 1: And you know, I noticed sometimes on Cal sheet, someone
- 47:34Speaker 1: showed me it last week. Someone came in and my
- 47:35Speaker 1: buddy came in from Florida. Cause I don't even have
- 47:37Speaker 1: the cow. I think Cal sheet geo fences here. I
- 47:40Speaker 1: don't think I can even look at their lines. but
- 47:42Speaker 1: he showed me how the minus, like, let's say this situation,
- 47:46Speaker 1: minus two and a half, minus 20, he went to
- 47:47Speaker 1: put in $ 500. There's only 200 available.
- 47:50Speaker 2: I was shocked. I couldn't believe.
- 47:53Speaker 1: So in other words, it's showing you like on my
- 47:55Speaker 1: odds logic screen, it shows you the best line, Cal sheet,
- 47:58Speaker 1: minus three and a half, minus 20. But maybe that's
- 48:00Speaker 1: not for, you know, someone that's betting $ 500, but if
- 48:02Speaker 1: you're betting 200, it's there. So I was shocked such
- 48:06Speaker 1: low volume on these big, these big sites that like, like, like, uh,
- 48:11Speaker 1: like Cal she or forecast or wherever, maybe whatever the, um,
- 48:15Speaker 1: the marketplaces are.
- 48:17Speaker 2: I was just, I thought there'd be a lot more volume,
- 48:19Speaker 2: maybe because it was.
- 48:19Speaker 3: Earlier in the week.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:20Speaker 3: And it's all liquidity. You got to see what's liquid available.
- 48:26Speaker 3: I've been trying to use some of these Cal she's
- 48:28Speaker 3: and I don't mind this other one. No big, they're
- 48:31Speaker 3: pretty good.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Is it legal where you are over in the border?
- 48:34Speaker 3: Cal she works in Arizona, but Arizona, but not, but
- 48:38Speaker 3: not no big.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 48:39Speaker 3: Cal she does work. Paulie marker was a pain to
- 48:42Speaker 3: even get, try to get it set up, but in
- 48:44Speaker 3: this handicap here, and I'm, you know, of course, cracking
- 48:48Speaker 3: are always top down guys. We're always looking for the
- 48:50Speaker 3: best line, but you know, a lot of my analyze
- 48:54Speaker 3: of games is of course, bottom up where I'm trying
- 48:56Speaker 3: to find hidden edges. And I think this game is
- 48:59Speaker 3: going to be a shootout game, but I'm going to
- 49:01Speaker 3: take the better defense here with this Rams team. And
- 49:05Speaker 3: they're supposed to get the big defensive lineman Donald back
- 49:08Speaker 3: for this game. Uh, Also, they had a nice comeback
- 49:12Speaker 3: win versus the Eagles. What a turnaround season for this
- 49:15Speaker 3: Eagles team a week ago. Wow. Over half there. team
- 49:20Speaker 3: is injured, and they're 7.5, 8-point underdogs in London as
- 49:25Speaker 3: well against a team that's really good. Otherwise, I would
- 49:28Speaker 3: have probably used Jacksonville and Survivor this week. But another
- 49:32Speaker 3: thing I see in this game is Josh Allen isn't
- 49:34Speaker 3: running the football, and people are saying that he's having
- 49:37Speaker 3: troubles with his knee. He's going through some problems there.
- 49:41Speaker 3: So if he's one-dimensional against this good Rams defense, they
- 49:46Speaker 3: could have trouble keeping up on scoring. So I think
- 49:49Speaker 3: the Rams, you know, finally come out and break out,
- 49:52Speaker 3: have a big game. They haven't had, like, an even
- 49:54Speaker 3: close to B-plus game or B-average game for them. I
- 49:58Speaker 3: think they do on Monday night here under the lights
- 50:00Speaker 3: and take care of what I think is an overrated
- 50:03Speaker 3: Bills team that has very, very many defensive holes that
- 50:07Speaker 3: got exploited versus the Patriots last week.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Yeah, Lane Johnson retiring was big news. One of the
- 50:15Speaker 1: best players there, of course.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. And that was big news yesterday.
- 50:19Speaker 1: I actually bet the Eagles not to make the playoffs
- 50:23Speaker 1: under 9.5. I'm sorry. Over under season wins is 9.5.
- 50:27Speaker 1: I chose to go to not make the playoff.
- 50:29Speaker 3: What did you get, 150 on that?
- 50:32Speaker 1: 105. I think 105.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Oh, geez.
- 50:34Speaker 2: I did it as soon as it came up.
- 50:38Speaker 1: I made a bet as soon as it came up
- 50:40Speaker 1: not to make the playoffs. It might have been 110.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Possibly it was 110. I still see it at 140
- 50:48Speaker 1: or 130 or 125 I thought I'd seen this morning.
- 50:51Speaker 2: Maybe I'm wrong.
- 50:52Speaker 1: I could be wrong. Philadelphia here. Not to make the playoffs.
- 50:58Speaker 3: There it is.
- 50:58Speaker 1: 105.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Got pretty lucky to make that bet.
- 51:03Speaker 3: And you can also look to bet against them next
- 51:05Speaker 3: week because they've For some reason, they're playing again next week.
- 51:09Speaker 3: They're playing right away again next week against a game
- 51:12Speaker 3: Carolina team that has a bye this week. So Carolina
- 51:16Speaker 3: gets double rest against this banged-up Eagle game, and they
- 51:20Speaker 3: got Philly as a favorite coming up next week.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Right, right, right.
- 51:25Speaker 1: When we get news like that, guys, too, if you
- 51:28Speaker 1: ever get news or you get one of Schefter's notifications,
- 51:31Speaker 1: If you can jump on something like that, the sportsbooks
- 51:34Speaker 1: automatically look at, oh, my.
- 51:35Speaker 2: God, next week's game.
- 51:37Speaker 1: They don't think about those kind of futures. So if
- 51:40Speaker 1: you can get that, you should overbet it because you
- 51:42Speaker 1: know you're going to have a chance to buy it back. Now,
- 51:43Speaker 1: I put in a big bet. It didn't take it.
- 51:45Speaker 1: It took about a third of what I asked for.
- 51:48Speaker 1: And I'll just keep that bet. But I'm not a
- 51:50Speaker 1: buyback guy. But there's a time. that you know information
- 51:55Speaker 1: like that will be so good that you could buy back,
- 51:58Speaker 1: and the other side will be the right side. So
- 52:00Speaker 1: both sides will be the right side. So I don't
- 52:03Speaker 1: ever bet anything, usually with the intention to scalp or middle.
- 52:06Speaker 1: But that situation with an alert like that, such a
- 52:10Speaker 1: big thing, like a quarterback going down in practice or something,
- 52:13Speaker 1: a marquee player, Johnson being one of the best guys
- 52:15Speaker 1: on the team, that's big information.
- 52:18Speaker 2: That's big news.
- 52:18Speaker 1: So I think that's some interesting stuff, though.
- 52:21Speaker 2: Randy, now where are you going to be this weekend?
- 52:24Speaker 3: Well, I got some friends coming for North Dakota State
- 52:27Speaker 3: plays UNLV. So they're flying actually in here Friday night
- 52:31Speaker 3: to Laughlin on the Harris jet. And then they're going
- 52:34Speaker 3: to the game. I'm not going to go to the game,
- 52:37Speaker 3: but I'm going to, you know, go see them Friday
- 52:39Speaker 3: night and enjoy seeing them. And then maybe a little
- 52:42Speaker 3: bit after the game, because the game's only at four
- 52:44Speaker 3: o'clock and that kind of conflicts a little bit with
- 52:47Speaker 3: us putting in our contest and everything.
- 52:49Speaker 1: How many guys are left in Grandissimo?
- 52:53Speaker 3: We're down to 24. There's none eliminated last week. Everybody survived. 24.
- 52:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 52:59Speaker 1: 24. And we don't want to give any information out
- 53:01Speaker 1: right now, but I'm sure you've narrowed it down to
- 53:04Speaker 1: like three or four teams. I would say probably two.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Unfortunately, I don't have Jacksonville. That might have been the selection.
- 53:11Speaker 1: Okay. Okay.
- 53:12Speaker 2: All right, so maybe you've got to do a little.
- 53:14Speaker 1: No, you're not doing no gambling what you have left.
- 53:16Speaker 1: I've looked already. But how about Survivor? You have a
- 53:20Speaker 1: few left in there too?
- 53:21Speaker 3: I got two left on the regular Survivor. And then
- 53:25Speaker 3: last week I had one 5-0 in the millions. I
- 53:27Speaker 3: would have had all 5-0s, but, of course, the Saints
- 53:31Speaker 3: let us down.
- 53:31Speaker 2: What did you wind up?
- 53:32Speaker 1: Did you have any 16-4s like Fezzik?
- 53:36Speaker 3: I saw it. 16-4.
- 53:38Speaker 1: How can that– I didn't know that gets paid. 16
- 53:41Speaker 1: and 4 got paid?
- 53:42Speaker 3: Some quarters were running good. Yeah, the best I got
- 53:46Speaker 3: is 14. I'm not far behind, 14 and 6.
- 53:48Speaker 2: 14 and 6. Me too. Me too.
- 53:50Speaker 1: All right, Randy, we'll see you next week on Wise Tracks.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Thank you for liking, subscribing. Appreciate you guys, and thanks, Randy,
- 53:56Speaker 1: for coming on.
- 53:57Speaker 3: All right. Good luck.
