- Catie Fitzgerald: Welcome back to From 9 to Mom. Danielle: where we discuss balancing the nine to five hustle with the beautiful chaos that we call motherhood. Charleston for the weekend because there is a marathon that a lot of my friends are participating in for like the fifth year in a row. Me and one other girl are going as a spectator because we both know that I'm not running a marathon. But the whole thing is social. Again, it's a weekend, a girl's trip away. They're calling it miles and mimosas. You run for a morning, then you go have a good time. And it's another one of those things where it's a lot of effort. Catie Fitzgerald: And today we want to talk about our new hobbies that every millennial seems to have. I don't really know how anyone is having time for these things still, but there's been a lot of like new of things of like what ⁓ millennials have as their hobbies. And I don't, we need to decipher where we fit in. You This episode of From Nine to Mom is brought to you by Local Social Club. Local Social Club is a kids' snapback hat brand started by two New England moms who couldn't find hats for their toddler boys that felt like their style. Everything felt too childish or gimmicky. Out of that frustration, they started designing snapback hats inspired by their husbands' favorite hats, just scaled down for kids. From there, Local Social Club was born Danielle: Yeah, and I think we've talked about hobbies in the past, but now there's a very clear cut trend happening where people are going into categories of hobby. And the second that you attach yourself to either category, I feel like you're getting fed all of this information and everything on your feed is whatever camp that you fall into. And I'm going to be honest, I've tried in the last 30 days, I have tried multiple. to put in, but again, it's an hour a day or so where you're just alone in the fresh air or the gym, listening to your music, no kids, I mean, doesn't sound awful. Catie Fitzgerald: I agree, but running that long is definitely torturous. Like I've told myself after the amount of running I've had to do, I run for time anymore or for distance. I like to do some walking and some inclines and that's where I'll be. Danielle: of these millennial, not even just mom, millennial hobbies. And I have noticed a distinct difference in who's attending these hobbies and why, but also the fact that they are all commitments that really gotta be ready for. Yeah, I walk miles for mimosas. I'm not running. I was never like a big runner. We've talked about this before. Catie Fitzgerald: Yes. a classic New England feel and thoughtful details like soft interior linings, adjustable snaps, ⁓ signature roping, these snapbacks are made for kids' everyday lives. No. I already, I've already proven myself I can do that. I don't need to do it again. Danielle: not proving yourself again, Era. I proved to myself that I can't do that. ⁓ had runner's knee after like training couch to 5K for two weeks for the turkey trap back in the day. I used to run three miles, but like it was never for speed or distance. It was just to stay fit. Now ⁓ don't run any miles. So I will be drinking mimosas. I will participate in the mimosas. ⁓ Catie Fitzgerald: You Yeah, and I feel like, and I just thought of another one while we started talking already, because I see the ones on Instagram that like are, you know, going through and all are required to be out of the house for the most part. And I'm like, how does anyone have energy to leave their home to go do this? And I just thought of another one. But I have to write them down. Like millennial hobby, because I feel like there. Use the FNTM to get 20 % off your first order. That sounds, the drinking hobby? Like where's that category? ⁓ Danielle: That's the thing we're trying to connect. I feel like every hobby we're going to talk about today has an aspect of socialization. another millennial hobby or another category? Okay, so let's, yeah, go ahead. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah, it's just like something that brings everyone together. But I think we should go to like the at-home, like you were saying, kind of like a cozy at-home hobby because I feel like this is a little, ⁓ this is like not about the getting together, but sourdough. We don't have like, there's like categories, like, it's the thing is the category, right? Like we... Danielle: Yeah, I feel like there's this like, there's like the cozy category. But also I don't know that actually works. Yeah Catie Fitzgerald: Okay, you wanna like categorize them like that. Like our categories. Nobody like, nobody put out official like statements of this, but I feel like there's a lot of them that go into the wellness category. Danielle: to the sourdough, and we've talked about this like in terms of like crunchy mom, stuff like that, but sourdough is spreading like wildfire and it's not just for crunchy people, it's for everybody. And it's. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. Yeah. I don't even think for most people it's about like health benefits of sourdough. It's like this is my my new life is to provide Bradford with my family. Danielle: Yeah, so let's start like with some wellness and wellness is mental and physical. But when we say wellness right now, I think we're talking like active. So number one is pickleball. I'm sorry. This is it's been the craze, but it is exploding. is one of the hobbies I have tried in the last 30 days. And is it The lore is intense and some aspects not that Catie Fitzgerald: active. Danielle: I feel like it's going back to like the compound days. Like we're aging in reverse in terms of like decades. Like we're gonna go back to the homestead. Let's make sourdough. Like let's provide. And it just makes me laugh because I'm telling you, sourdough, my friend sourdough bread, the cookies, they are top notch. And I don't know if it's cause they are made with love or whatever, but it is not a hobby. It is a cult. Like it's a cult. Catie Fitzgerald: Okay. how it was useful. I so. Danielle: athletic and I kind of get it but I'll tell you why after what are your thoughts on Catie Fitzgerald: It's a really, I mean, it's a multiple day time a day commitment, as far as I know. And I feel like it started from COVID because we were all home and you know, it was fine. And it goes with like the next one that I had to have like, I think some of it stems from COVID of like looking for things to do at home. But yeah, I feel like that that group has just gotten bigger. And it's like, not necessarily to connect with people. It's more of like, Yeah, I think it's good because most anyone can play, but it is far up there with how millennials are tearing their ACLs. ⁓ So ⁓ quite dangerous, I'd say. ⁓ a handful of people that I know that have gotten injured playing pickleball. Yeah, because you go too hard. And I think someone like me that's very competitive in sport, I don't know that I could handle it. I think I'd tear my ACL. Danielle: means happy to do. think that is accurate. That's hilarious. Catie Fitzgerald: I'm gonna keep researching all these other people's videos and like get the tips and tricks to make the next thing. So it keeps me going. Danielle: I think that you would. So I'm going to tell you what my experience was with pickleball and then everything I know. So I have some hardcore pickleballers in my life. One is in Rochester on Monday nights. She goes to pickleball with her league and then they go out drinking after it's competitive. They like to win that kind of stuff. have friends in Chicago who play with their husband. It's like a, a team sport. If you're about the pickleballers that are in like the 65 and over club, you know, It was another thing to keep alive. Like you have to keep the starter alive. Like it's another child. It's like, it's a human being. So it's not a human being, but it is a living being, creature, whatever. And I think one of those things, like you said, it's something like that is not necessarily social, but at the same time, sourdough lovers or sourdough people connect ⁓ a very unique, special way. They share starter, they share tips and tricks, like you said, on the internet. Catie Fitzgerald: Great. Great. living creature. bacteria. Danielle: that are even pickleballing, but again, injury. The crew I went with is one of my best friends here in Charlotte. I went to a ⁓ called, and it's gonna be a huge plug, this place, I was so scared to go to pickleball. You remember me telling you how scared I was to go to this event, because I haven't exercised really hard-core since Daisy was born. I was afraid I was gonna injure myself, embarrass myself. I did embarrass myself, I did not injure myself. But I walked into this place, it is, It's that cozy girl vibe and that leads us into one that is blazing needlepoint, needlepoint. Catie Fitzgerald: I haven't seen this. This has not hit my For You page. Danielle: I think probably just the age difference maybe. I don't know, like my friends, am starting to see more and more groups pop up and more and more of my friends that are doing needle point specifically, but crocheting like that kind of vibe, but it's like the crafty girl era. I want to do something creative that I can use and needle point is something you can do while you sit ⁓ watch your Netflix show or listen to Taylor Swift, whatever it may be. ⁓ The coolest establishment. I would play pickleball every day if I could go here. You walk in, there's like a restaurant smoothie bar. There's a real bar. They're playing all the good, like all the best music. Like it's a total vibe when you walk in. It's like boho chic. You, the second I walked in that place, I was like, ⁓ hell yeah. Like I want, I'm in. Before I even picked up. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. You are. Great. Danielle: It's a creative outlet for people, but it's definitely a thing. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah, I feel like I don't have the patience for it. I can't, I ⁓ I get it. You know, it's ⁓ another thing. Another one that is like at home that I think stems from COVID was like being your own at home barista and making coffee. ⁓ hard. We are in that one hard. But not in the terms of that I got like a real espresso maker. Like I have an espresso at home and it makes good I'm in. I'm gonna go buy a racket from the gift shop. Danielle: Yeah, I mean. Yeah, like the gum going. I want all the merch. Then they had awesome merch. Kind of like Topgolf. They have like emojis and games that you can play and tables. They made a cooler when we got there of drinks and apps were getting served. The music's playing. We're hitting. We're dinking around. It's called thinking. But this is the thing. Whoever came up with pickleball was clearly on something. First of all, it's adult badminton. Sometimes I feel like it reminds I loved badminton as a kid, but it's more intense, obviously. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. Danielle: You definitely fell into that. You did that. Yeah, but you were making some fancy stuff, getting the syrups, making the vit- Catie Fitzgerald: Good luck, guys. We tried the, I had to try the pumpkin spice because I felt bad. And I feel like now from some of our episodes, I've been starting to feel bad about how much sugar I intake on the daily. And I'm like, okay, what are the healthier options? And it is making your own syrup. So I think I could get into that. I think anything with food, like, I think Ryan could get into sourdough. We just have one, he would, he cooks it, I don't touch. Yes. Danielle: But then you have pickle ball, you're dinking around. like they start and they're like, let's dink around. And you're literally hitting ball dinking. And then the scoring thing is like one, two, three, three, three, four. And you got to figure that out who's serving. suck, but I loved every minute of it. And I, but then if you take me to a pickle ball court, say at like the local park, I don't think so. I don't know yet. Yeah, ride the sourdough clean of your household. Catie Fitzgerald: most any of the cooking in this house, but we do have a good recipe for like one day focaccia bread. And that's what we make, but we don't make any other breads anymore. But yeah, the coffee. experience. not as interesting. Yeah, I feel like there's an extreme uptick of tournaments going on, ⁓ especially like for charity. I see a lot around here where it's like, join the pickleball thing, you know, and do that. So I think that's it. And it actually reminds me and I don't it's not a mom trend, but it's like a trend for millennials is like the golf simulator, which has been around for a long time. I Danielle: So he does a lot of like I found that that is his like one of his hobbies is like you said looking up the videos learning what other people are doing making it himself and then the joy of feeding it to others and others enjoying it the social aspect I guess of that Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. Yeah, I think that's that's definitely where Ryan falls in. He follows so many food people and are like back and forth on TikTok or Instagram is all food related for the most part. But I think like the one you're going to laugh because then there's like other at home ones that have to do with your home. And one is birdwatching, which again, didn't know that this was a thing. No. But I think like Topgolf has really like brought it to the next level and where now there's private ones and small businesses opening. Well, right. Danielle: You know I can't park in my garage because I have the simulator after every, the electricity doesn't work anymore outside of the simulation. or you didn't, this is like the classic sign that you are becoming. This is the 40. This is where you're missing it. It's there are no binoculars because now we have technology. Now they have the bird houses that connect to your phone. is an app. You don't need binoculars. They visit the bird house. It records anytime somebody comes. And actually we were trying to mess with people by doing like facial recognition, like going and setting off their bird alarms. Catie Fitzgerald: Because yeah, it's all directed to that. But like that is all that's I think comparable to pickleball because it's like you could just go golf, but it's like, well, we need just a nightly like nighttime thing. You can't go golfing at night. like. Social, yeah. You turn 40 and you get binoculars to watch birds. Danielle: It's a true social hobby. think like pickleball is one of those ones like active. So you feel good. You're moving your body, but it's got a very social aspect to it. There are rules, but there's not too many. Like you serve out of the kitchen, like whatever it is, you know, but it's, it can be as competitive as you want it to be or as non-competitive as you want it. And then there's also an app that might, these are seven year olds that they have that they were listening to that I'm like, ⁓ that's kind of cool. And then I didn't download it because I thought about what I just said. It takes the sounds of the birds and tells you what birds you have in your yard. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. none, which is great. Well, I think so that goes into the next wellness one, which is, ⁓ think it all goes together. Marathon training, running in general, and weighted vests are like Wow. You know, technology making these, you know, time things just come back to life. makes it a little better. Danielle: You know, cool, like bird watching is a thing. And I think that it. ⁓ yeah. Catie Fitzgerald: But I bet like back in the day, it was something to like have the book and like have to look up and like do that. Now it's like you could probably hold your phone out and be like, what bird is that? And get the whole background. There's no like way. Yeah. Danielle: The way to best our big time right now. Catie Fitzgerald: I feel like I have enough weight that if I put a vest on, like, why do I need, like, am I trying to cause more back issues? I don't get it. Danielle: legitimately, you could throw it in your Google search and it tells you like my grandmother was 40 when I was born and I remember she had the book, the binoculars, all the different types of feed and she'd like, look, we've got a seasonal woodpecker, like whatever, you know, whatever it was. And she like looked at the book and show it to me. It was like, cool. But now I'm like, that's cool. Like, you know that. I I live in a warm area where there's people walking all day past my window. I can see people right now walking by, right? And this weighted vest, I feel like is for the mom who's used to carrying their kid that they no longer have to carry anymore. And they need the extra weight to feel like they're working hard enough. Men do it too, but think about it. You're carrying like a 30 pound toddler around, all of a sudden they can walk. They don't need you to carry them anymore. You're like, I got this, let's throw them in. Catie Fitzgerald: the whole thing. you It's lit. Okay. Yeah, like I could get behind that. think if I had, ⁓ I've seen people that have had the birdhouses that like you suctioned to your window on the outside so you can see into it, not technology based. I think if I attracted more birds to my home that my cat would go nuts, like jiving into the window. I'm sorry, but if you are mom using this, like you are under a C cup. Like you have boobs, you don't need this. Danielle: Yeah, that would not be good for you or anybody who has a cat owner that likes to look outside. And on the realm of this, this is not in the list, but these are hobbies that I know people have the raising the moss, like raising like, like the Luna moss and stuff like that. And doing that and turning those into crafts. And then also ⁓ micro farming. Like that's a huge fact. And gardening, micro farming, as a, as a hobby. Maybe we should test it out for the big titty committee. Catie Fitzgerald: Like first of all, how is this fitting around my boobs close? I'm gonna need like an XXL. And I already have enough back pain, why am I putting that on? Somebody please educate us on that. Danielle: Yeah, already have been like eight stores for us. Catie Fitzgerald: I don't even know what that is. Danielle: to get stronger. Now guys, we're Navy SEALs, but this is a huge trend. Catie Fitzgerald: Interesting. I was gonna say gardening's on my list. Yeah, having, I think indoor and outdoor gardening as far as like, ⁓ know, like plants inside, just all the greenery is very trendy. ⁓ outside like doing that, which I think I'll get into again this year. It's been a few years since I've done like plants at my house. And don't remember if you know this, like growing up, I worked at a nursery every summer. Yeah. Danielle: You did tell me that. I feel like we've talked about it. If you had a green thumb and I have a bajillion plants in my house and I try really hard, it doesn't always work. And every year I have this dream that I'm going to bloom hydrangeas and peonies and dahlias and make my own bouquets. Cause that's a hobby I have. I love making my own bouquets. But I want to grow my own flowers to do so. And I've failed for three years in a row. So if anybody's Catie Fitzgerald: That's it. You need to like pick a spot in the back corner of your yard and do like the wildflower mix. Danielle: Yeah, that's like kind of what we did, but I just didn't, you know. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. You have to, yeah, it's hard because a lot of it is, it requires a lot of, a lot of work depending on where you live to the amount of watering and like, I forget sometimes. And then like the kids want to do it. I want to do like a little veggie garden, but I have a lot of critters here. So that makes it hard. We usually, my mom did this whole thing of strawberries for the boys and rabbits here get them really good. Danielle: I think you should try it. It's good in the stars around the stars. Yeah. Every year, it's, we do, my mom does the garden in my backyard and grubs come and get whatever or kill it. So it's a little sad, but that's definitely a seasonal hobby. ⁓ feel like we need to shift to, because my life is filled with it right now. The, ⁓ see, Bunko, like the game era ⁓ my life right now in the last, Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. That's a seasonal one, yes, unless you do some indoor things, yeah. Games. Gaming, yeah. Danielle: week and a half has been mahjong, mahjong, mahjong. Every week. Catie Fitzgerald: It's everywhere. Buy a board, get the stuff, get the app. Everyone's doing it. Danielle: And it's not a cheap copy. The pretty boards are $450. Catie Fitzgerald: I couldn't believe what I saw when I looked at this. I'm like, what is this even? ⁓ Danielle: It's chaotic moms trying to like, like to like plan and strategize, right? That's what our whole life is. And Mahjong is all, and we got to get the girl who did the, we've all paid $60 for a two hour lesson on Mahjong, okay? But you needed it. Like, I don't know. And it's because it's like, we got to drink wine and have apps and talk and learn, but it's just a game of strategy. It's like our lives as working moms. You're literally just placing the pieces. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. So, yeah. Danielle: something falls apart, the plan you had isn't working, you're not getting what you need, so you have to readjust. It's a great strategy game for people who are already in their chaotic planning, making it work era, but it is expensive. It is hard. And it's definitely like I now have, I went from having, no, I don't have it my phone yet. I gotta look at the title, make sure I don't mess it up. Catie Fitzgerald: Hilarious. We have it on your phone. Danielle: I would remember like mom chats that were like my chats right now, no joke, miles and mimosas is one of the chats. going back to that. And the other one is like just Mahjong. It's got a pink circle with a Mahjong tile. And there are a total of eight people in the Mahjong chat that were now planning bi-weekly Mahjong sessions. Catie Fitzgerald: nights. It is funny though, like I am thinking of all of these things. And yes, it's like a way to get together with everyone and do and like socialize and have a common task for it. But yeah, it's like every single like, I feel like you're a lot like this, where you could definitely go fit in any of them. Right. But I feel like a lot of people don't have that type of personality where you're just like, I could never do that. So it's funny to like talk about all of these or the people that are invested in one of these. I hope we didn't offend you, but yeah. Danielle: Yes. No, they're all awesome for different reasons. And for me, like trying all of truthfully, like you said, I would like to do and then like all of that. Catie Fitzgerald: What's going to be like your, like where do you see yourself fitted into these millennial hobbies? Like, do you feel like you're going to get into one? Danielle: I think this is a very good question because we didn't even bring up like book club. There's so many other like random millennial hobbies, but I think it all comes down to this. And then I'll tell you what I think I fit in. All of these hobbies, the majority outside of the more domestic ones are, and they're not even, I don't want to call them domestic, but you know what I'm trying to say? Like in the home, of these hobbies I feel like are an excuse to gather. Catie Fitzgerald: I know. Raiding. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Danielle: around like you said a common goal or a common theme and you don't want to just go and say, hey, we're going to go drink. Me and the girls are going to go drink. You want to say you're doing something. You want to say you're learning or you're all day. You want to cover. They're all covers. Oh, I'm going to run a marathon and drink mimosas. I'm going to go to sunset Pilates. Catie Fitzgerald: I know. You need to have a cover. There needs to be a cover. in a drink. Danielle: and have an IPA after. I'm going to go to Mahjong every other week and drink wine with my friends and learn strategy. So I feel that for me, some of the at home ones, I don't care as much about the activity. It's about having good conversation and being social. ⁓ for me right now, I like I'm ⁓ dipping toe in the water in a lot of the millennial mom hobbies that I didn't have. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. Gotta try it. Danielle: capacity for before trying to find what suits me best. What about you? Catie Fitzgerald: So I don't know if I can say I'm gonna commit to something, but I will tell you probably what I'll never do. ⁓ I don't think I'll get into Mahjong. I am not, I hate games. have always hated games. Like if I'm at a party or something, ⁓ won't catch me playing a game. Danielle: Yeah, tell me what you want. I don't like to lose. So I got yelled at a few times at my dog for that reason. Like I love games, but if I'm losing, I don't want to. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. You're in it. And I feel like it's not even that for me. It's just like when I'm relaxing with people, I don't want to think. I don't want to, I don't like, I don't like any of them. Like the fact that my kids want to play games is torturous for me. Like you want to play Candyland again? Danielle: So much, my John. You're like, no, no. Well, Kingdomland doesn't require any strategy, Katie. Catie Fitzgerald: No, but like it's just the fact like I don't I just don't like it. It doesn't make my brain tick. ⁓ No, no, no. ⁓ You won't catch me doing marathons. Danielle: So you are not gonna fall into the game girl era, period. Okay? Fair. Catie Fitzgerald: ⁓ or with a weighted vest. And if I am in a weighted vest, somebody sedate me. ⁓ my God. It'll be like after I get a mommy makeover and then I have to wear one because I'm so off balance that have to do it. ⁓ be when I have to wear one. ⁓ I'm going to keep my coffee stuff going. I enjoy it. Me and Ryan like getting new cups and like things. ⁓ Danielle: can't wait until you are in one of us and I'm judging you for saying you would never, never say never. then you have to. That's what it is. Get Catie Fitzgerald: for that. think I'm gonna do, I think gardening is gonna be my seasonal flavor of millennium. Danielle: Yeah, that's a good flavor. It's a good seasonal flavor if you figure it out. It's fun to do. It's good right now with the age kids you have to because it's your hobby, but everybody can be outside together participating. I think that's important. ⁓ Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. Yes. And I want to like grow some veggies in here, but I got to figure out how to keep the critters away. I'm looking for more input besides like pesticides and like having everything. Yeah. ⁓ I gotta get, I wish, Danielle: Yeah, because then you don't want to put stuff. Yeah, fair, fair. Catie Fitzgerald: The best way to say this, I wish Ryan could build, and he could build me, it's more of the constraints of life, like build the planter boxes. Danielle: Jordan built us a nice one. He could come build you one in the summer with Ryan, you know, bring the supplies. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah, Brian could figure it out, but it's just more of like, you know, that's not his thing. Like I'm not gonna, he wouldn't ask me to build them. You know what I mean? Like, I don't know. Danielle: Yeah, I think he could do it. should do it. That's a hobby. Okay, this is a hobby we did not talk about that I wish I could do, DIY. I wish. I can't stop watching videos, I am not. Catie Fitzgerald: ⁓ DIY. ⁓ my gosh, I need to. Danielle: Physical labor and I are not always right? But I have these dreams and aspirations and I just don't want to ask what you're saying right now. I just don't want to ask her to do it. I want to do it myself. Catie Fitzgerald: I think that's like part of it. It's like, like, I know you don't like doing it. Why am I going to ask you? I asked, I told his project currently is the area I'm sitting in right now. Like we're going to try to finish part of the basement. And, um, I feel bad asking. He's working all day. He does like, I get it. Like you don't want to come home and do more manual labor, but I also don't want to pay somebody to come do it. Danielle: The big thing, yeah. Yes, and you have a vision in your head. know exactly what you want. want to be able to, the ladies out there who are making it happen and doing all these things, am so envious that is, of all the things that is, I wish I could get a saw out, put my goggles on, cut the wood, lay it down straight, not get annoyed with myself, not get... Catie Fitzgerald: Yes. So envious. That's a cool trait to have. I would fuck everything up and then I get so fresher and like, leave it. It's fine. Good enough. Good enough. Danielle: Done. It's over. I can't even. So that's one that I really think is the coolest and the most flexing, right? I do this all myself. at what I've done. Also an expensive hobby is, and I did not line those up for myself. My mom did that for me, is K-pop. I mean, that's kind of a hobby I have right now. Catie Fitzgerald: Yeah. Yeah. That's an expensive hobby though. I, so my sister didn't realize K-pop was. I think she's just a ⁓ younger. Her kids are a little younger. So like it didn't fall into that, but she's got her son listening to Soda Pop constantly. go, you know that that's K-pop. She's like, you're kidding. And he's obsessed with it. I don't think she just, I think she just knew it was like this kid's thing and like. Danielle: you Yeah. Where'd she think he came from? She is an inch away from the Felix effect and her whole life is gonna be over. She's like, she is minutes away from being destroyed. And this hobby has nothing to do with age. It's like 10 year olds think we're all cringe that are older and then like 70 year olds who it doesn't matter. Like it runs the whole gamut. So that is a hobby that I'm into right now. If you're curious, I will tell you I am. Catie Fitzgerald: I we are. Like I'm in now. Danielle: But it doesn't require much of me at all except for enjoyment. Yeah. Well, that was all like birthday gifts. Like look at those eyes just staring into your soul. gives me hope for the future. yeah, there's just so many different millennial mom hobbies, but they're so different than the hobbies that we used to have. And were all in rec leagues, softball, kickball, broom ball. I ⁓ know. Catie Fitzgerald: the purchase of merch in your shrine when I do. Yeah. the crev. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Kickball was the thing pre-COVID, like early twenties, you were at kickball two times a week. Yeah. Yeah. I was complaining, playing competitive soccer still. Like now nobody. Yeah. Yeah. It's, um.
