- 0:08Speaker 1: Sc advice for sugar Spice. It's time from Hello, Welcome
- 0:16Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nice. I'm your host, Ram Shooter,
- 0:18Speaker 1: and is Monday. We have a ton of gossip to
- 0:21Speaker 1: get to. But first of all, our friend Garrett is
- 0:23Speaker 1: off on vacation for the next two weeks. Garrett, I
- 0:26Speaker 1: know you're listening. Hello, Allow allo have a wonderful vacation.
- 0:29Speaker 1: We can't wait for you to return. In the meantime,
- 0:32Speaker 1: let's jump into the show Naughties. What time is it?
- 0:35Speaker 1: My friends? It is tea time, lots and lots of gossip,
- 0:40Speaker 1: a big story at the top of the show. So
- 0:43Speaker 1: Taylor Swift, arguably the biggest star in the world at
- 0:45Speaker 1: the moment, turned down Meghan Markle's personal invite to appear
- 0:51Speaker 1: on her podcast. So Taylor turned down the chance to
- 0:56Speaker 1: appear on Meghan Markles spotyfy points despite the fact that
- 1:01Speaker 1: the Duchess of Sussex personally personally invited her, reports The
- 1:07Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal. So the claim came as part of
- 1:12Speaker 1: a wildly reported feature about her and Prince Harry's attempts
- 1:18Speaker 1: to break into Hollywood after stepping back from royal life.
- 1:22Speaker 1: The Wall Street Journal interviewed lots and lots of people
- 1:27Speaker 1: about Harry and Megan really did this deep die of
- 1:30Speaker 1: a real, really deep feature into the couple and asked
- 1:35Speaker 1: what will happen next. Now the podcast has been canceled
- 1:41Speaker 1: after they reportedly signed a deal worth twenty million dollars.
- 1:48Speaker 1: The Wall Street Journal are saying that they just didn't
- 1:52Speaker 1: deliver enough content. They didn't get enough listeners. I know
- 1:56Speaker 1: I do a daily podcast. I didn't get twenty million dollars,
- 2:01Speaker 1: but I do. Okay, I love doing it, but some days,
- 2:05Speaker 1: some days, it's a lot of work to do this
- 2:07Speaker 1: every single day, and to do a quality show, which
- 2:10Speaker 1: we do, thank you, Noughty is full of the latest dish.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It takes a lot of preparation. I've done radio shows,
- 2:17Speaker 1: lots of them where I'm shocked at how the host
- 2:20Speaker 1: just turns up and wings it. I can't do that.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I'm just not talented enough to do that. I have
- 2:25Speaker 1: to really prepare. I find that true in everything I
- 2:29Speaker 1: do in life. I really do prepare. My husband Bruce's
- 2:32Speaker 1: auditioning at the moment for his new musical Harmony, and
- 2:36Speaker 1: Bruce knows the people that prepare for the auditions and
- 2:40Speaker 1: those that don't. Very few people can just wing it now.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Meghan also did not turn out enough content for twenty
- 2:48Speaker 1: million dollars. They want hours and hours and hours and
- 2:52Speaker 1: hours of programming and she just didn't do this. However,
- 2:57Speaker 1: when she started the podcast, and this is all the
- 3:00Speaker 1: case when you start something, when you're brand newing it,
- 3:03Speaker 1: that's when you typically put in the most ethics. So
- 3:06Speaker 1: when she started it, she sat down with all the
- 3:08Speaker 1: big wigs at Spotify and came up with a list,
- 3:11Speaker 1: a list of all the people she wanted to interview,
- 3:14Speaker 1: and most of the people on the list were superstars.
- 3:16Speaker 1: And she's Megan Markle. She thought she could get the
- 3:19Speaker 1: biggest stars in the world. So Meghan decided she was
- 3:22Speaker 1: going to write everybody a personal letter, including Taylor Swift
- 3:27Speaker 1: to come on her podcast. However, Swift declined through her
- 3:32Speaker 1: pr rep. In the end, she did get some high
- 3:36Speaker 1: profile names. She got Mariah Carrey, she got Paris Hilton,
- 3:39Speaker 1: she got Serena Williams. She's friends with Serena. Paris is
- 3:43Speaker 1: an easy get to get that isn't so hard. Mariah
- 3:46Speaker 1: Carey is a big star. She also got Andy Cohen
- 3:48Speaker 1: from Bravo. Once again, great people, but certainly not Taylor
- 3:52Speaker 1: Swift and where was her best friend's Oprah? And where
- 3:55Speaker 1: were her friends George and aml Clooney. These were people
- 3:59Speaker 1: that she invited to her wedding. Do you think she
- 4:01Speaker 1: sent them notes to personal requests and got rejected? So
- 4:07Speaker 1: Spotify has put out a statement saying that they have
- 4:09Speaker 1: announced and mutually agreed to part ways on the podcast
- 4:15Speaker 1: It's not coming back. Since then, too, there have been
- 4:18Speaker 1: big layoffs at Spotify. I think two hundred people lost
- 4:21Speaker 1: their jobs. People are very angry with all the money
- 4:24Speaker 1: they gave to the sussexes and now they're firing people
- 4:28Speaker 1: who are much less a year. Why do you think
- 4:32Speaker 1: about all this? Let me just add two that this
- 4:36Speaker 1: news about Taylor Swift comes only a few days after
- 4:40Speaker 1: the company's head of podcast innovation he called the couple
- 4:46Speaker 1: quote grifters. Grifters. Ooh, they want the money, but they
- 4:52Speaker 1: don't want to do the work. Now, Harry's had a difficult,
- 4:58Speaker 1: unusual life where he has lived in the lap of
- 5:01Speaker 1: luxury without really having to do any work. The work
- 5:05Speaker 1: that he's done, and he has, he's worked in the military.
- 5:08Speaker 1: He certainly has a best selling book out there. That
- 5:11Speaker 1: work would give him a nice income, a nice lifestyle,
- 5:16Speaker 1: but certainly not the lifestyle of a prince in a palace.
- 5:19Speaker 1: So Harry's life has always been bigger than the job
- 5:22Speaker 1: he has had. Meghan's worked hard. Meghan worked hard as
- 5:25Speaker 1: an actress. She was on deal or no deal. She
- 5:27Speaker 1: really hustled to pay her bills. She didn't inherit any money.
- 5:31Speaker 1: She was worth a couple of million when she met Harry,
- 5:33Speaker 1: so at a young age. To be worth so much
- 5:35Speaker 1: and working so hard, she has a really good work ethic,
- 5:38Speaker 1: which is why I'm surprised that it didn't show in
- 5:41Speaker 1: the podcast. It's a big commitment. When somebody pays you
- 5:45Speaker 1: a lot of money, they want a lot of work
- 5:47Speaker 1: they do. I think about this sometimes when I'm offered
- 5:50Speaker 1: a raise or a new job. I always think, oh,
- 5:52Speaker 1: it sounds lovely to have all this extra money, but
- 5:55Speaker 1: what do you want in return? And they often want
- 5:57Speaker 1: me to work longer hours, work my weekends. I'm a
- 6:00Speaker 1: place in my life where I'm not sure I want
- 6:03Speaker 1: to do it. I earn enough money to have a
- 6:05Speaker 1: lovely life, but I don't need any more. Do I
- 6:08Speaker 1: need a new pair of shoes? Do I need to
- 6:11Speaker 1: give up my weekends and work like a like a man.
- 6:14Speaker 1: We know I don't do it, So Meghan, be careful here.
- 6:17Speaker 1: You're going to get a lot of offers because of
- 6:19Speaker 1: who you married. You are now one of the most
- 6:22Speaker 1: famous people in the world. But for all that money,
- 6:26Speaker 1: they want something in return. It's never a free ride,
- 6:30Speaker 1: which brings us to our whole question of the day.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I want to know what you think noughties. Taylor Swift
- 6:36Speaker 1: turned down Megan Markle's personal invite to appear on her
- 6:40Speaker 1: podcast Are you Team Taylor or are you Team Meghan?
- 6:47Speaker 1: It was a personal invite. I try to respond to
- 6:50Speaker 1: every email I do. I try to respond to every
- 6:54Speaker 1: text I do. Get a lot of dms. I'm not
- 6:57Speaker 1: so good at responding to them for me, but if
- 7:01Speaker 1: somebody sent me a personal note, a personal note, I
- 7:05Speaker 1: definitely would respond. Now let's be clear here, Taylor did respond,
- 7:09Speaker 1: she just didn't give Meghan the response that she wanted.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Oh go vote on our Trider page at naughtin Ice
- 7:18Speaker 1: Rabba at Facebook Peede, which is Nady gossip and is
- 7:21Speaker 1: sure to check back to morrow to hear your results.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Moving along this divorce between Kevin Costner, it's getting really,
- 7:30Speaker 1: really ugly, and now his wife is claiming that Kevin
- 7:34Speaker 1: told the children about the divorce on a zoom call ouch.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Kevin Costner's divorce from his second wife, Christine, is getting
- 7:45Speaker 1: messier by the minute. According to new court documents. Kevin's
- 7:50Speaker 1: a strange wife says he's worth about four hundred million dollars.
- 7:57Speaker 1: You've got that right, four hundred million dollars. So she
- 8:01Speaker 1: is fighting the terms of her two thousand and four
- 8:05Speaker 1: prem agreement, which has already given her one million dollars
- 8:10Speaker 1: payout since the split. So since the split, she's already
- 8:15Speaker 1: got one million dollars. She's seeking over two hundred and
- 8:19Speaker 1: forty eight thousand a month in child support from Kevin,
- 8:23Speaker 1: just to start with lots of other stuff there. But
- 8:26Speaker 1: the most shocking thing in the new court documents to
- 8:30Speaker 1: me is that she claims that Kevin disregarded her input
- 8:36Speaker 1: by breaking the news of the divorce to their three
- 8:39Speaker 1: children without her. She wasn't there without her during a
- 8:44Speaker 1: ten minute zoom call. Christine, who filed four divorce on
- 8:49Speaker 1: May first after eighteen years of marriage eighteen years, listed
- 8:53Speaker 1: the separation date as April eleventh, and she said in
- 8:58Speaker 1: a declaration filed on June sixteenth, that she was concerned
- 9:04Speaker 1: that her children would find out about the divorce before
- 9:08Speaker 1: they could actually tell them. It was very important to
- 9:11Speaker 1: Christine to tell the children in person, and she claims
- 9:15Speaker 1: that she told Kevin this and shared articles with him
- 9:19Speaker 1: about the importance to talking to children as a united front.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Both parents together should sit down talk to the kids.
- 9:27Speaker 1: This is the best thing to do when you want
- 9:29Speaker 1: to explain what's going on. However, she claims that Kevin
- 9:33Speaker 1: disregarded her proposal to do what she felt was right
- 9:38Speaker 1: based on research, and instead told the children privately without
- 9:44Speaker 1: her present. She adds that he was in a hotel
- 9:46Speaker 1: room in Vegas and he just blurted out to the
- 9:49Speaker 1: three kids. They are sixteen, fourteen, and little Grace is
- 9:54Speaker 1: just thirteen. He said they were getting divorced during a
- 9:57Speaker 1: ten minute zoom call without her presence. Still said that
- 10:00Speaker 1: she's confused about his motivation for doing this, especially as
- 10:04Speaker 1: he planned to be home five days later. He couldn't
- 10:08Speaker 1: have waited five days, and if he really is worth
- 10:10Speaker 1: four hundred million dollars as she claims, he could have
- 10:14Speaker 1: easily got a plane from Vegas home. He was only
- 10:18Speaker 1: in Vegas. What do you think about this. This is
- 10:21Speaker 1: going to get really, really ugly. We're going to get
- 10:23Speaker 1: all the details. But I'm with Christine here. They should
- 10:26Speaker 1: have told them together, at least done it in person. Now,
- 10:29Speaker 1: if the news was going to break, they're big stars,
- 10:31Speaker 1: or Kevin's a big star. If the news is going
- 10:33Speaker 1: to break, I get it. You want to get to
- 10:35Speaker 1: the kids before the media does. But I don't think
- 10:37Speaker 1: that was the case here. They kept this under wraps
- 10:41Speaker 1: for actually quite a while. It took a while for
- 10:44Speaker 1: reporters like me and everybody else to break this story.
- 10:47Speaker 1: And so I think he did have time. I know
- 10:49Speaker 1: he had time. He had five days and then he
- 10:51Speaker 1: was coming home from Vegas. It could have waited. Sometimes
- 10:55Speaker 1: when you get divorced, you get a bit spiteful, don't you.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You want to lash out, got at the children. You
- 11:01Speaker 1: don't hurt, Christine. The only people you hurt are the kids. Okay,
- 11:08Speaker 1: moving along, Talking about kids, Jennifer Lopez is revealing that
- 11:11Speaker 1: her twins Max and Emmy have started challenging her choices.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Jennifer's used to get in her own way, except at home,
- 11:20Speaker 1: so she recently shed light on what it's like raising
- 11:25Speaker 1: her fifteen year old twins, especially now they have curious
- 11:30Speaker 1: minds of their own. Jlo told Vogue Mexico. Quote, you
- 11:35Speaker 1: always adore your children. There is an acceptance they have
- 11:39Speaker 1: of you. And then as they get older, they start
- 11:43Speaker 1: to wonder, why are we doing this? Why is mom
- 11:50Speaker 1: doing this? Do I have to do it at all?
- 11:53Speaker 1: As she puts it, they start to challenge you. Ah,
- 11:56Speaker 1: I don't have children. My sister does, and they're about
- 11:59Speaker 1: that age fifteen sixteen, and they do challenge Christine, my sister,
- 12:04Speaker 1: and it drives her nuts. However, Jennifer does share that
- 12:08Speaker 1: she does understand this. She understands they're going through a phase.
- 12:12Speaker 1: She said, you'd probably remember when you were a teenager
- 12:14Speaker 1: and you gave your mom a hard time. I did. Oh, Mom, Dad,
- 12:17Speaker 1: if you're listening, I'm so sorry. I was a pain
- 12:19Speaker 1: in the bottom, And she said, but they really are
- 12:21Speaker 1: good kids, and she really wants them to know the
- 12:25Speaker 1: answers to questions, so she's actually quite happy that they
- 12:28Speaker 1: are asking all this stuff. She adds that growing up
- 12:31Speaker 1: in the public eye has not been easy for her twins,
- 12:35Speaker 1: and it's something that she really really regrets. It paints
- 12:39Speaker 1: her and she said quote. I think being the child
- 12:42Speaker 1: of a famous parent is something many people just can't understand.
- 12:47Speaker 1: And I feel for my kids because they did not
- 12:50Speaker 1: choose this. She continued that they have just started letting
- 12:55Speaker 1: her know how people treat them and when they walk
- 12:58Speaker 1: in a room, what people say or think about them,
- 13:01Speaker 1: and they don't ever see them for who they are,
- 13:03Speaker 1: but for rather who their parents are, and being judged
- 13:07Speaker 1: by people all the time. It's just heartbreaking, says Jayla.
- 13:11Speaker 1: She said that this is the lens though, through which
- 13:13Speaker 1: they live, and it's hard, but she tries, really, really
- 13:17Speaker 1: deeply to understand it. She's a great mom. Whatever you
- 13:20Speaker 1: say with Jennifer Loppe's I love her. I used to
- 13:22Speaker 1: work for her. I love her. She is a great mom. Okay.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Talking about moms, Avera Singer Ramona Singer from the Real Housewives,
- 13:33Speaker 1: she is trashing the other kids on brav calling them
- 13:36Speaker 1: names about the way they look and also claiming that
- 13:39Speaker 1: the kids ride their parents' coat tails. So Ramona's daughter,
- 13:43Speaker 1: Averysinger is starting to come across just about as tone
- 13:46Speaker 1: death as her mother. After labeling the kids of other
- 13:50Speaker 1: Real Housewives as not really pulling their fair weight. So
- 13:55Speaker 1: on a new podcast. The twenty eight year old said
- 13:59Speaker 1: that she is her own path in the world, but
- 14:03Speaker 1: other people are not. Quote, there are many Bravo kids
- 14:07Speaker 1: that ride their mom's coattails, and they are like, wanna
- 14:11Speaker 1: be Kylie Jenna All Duck fads. Oh. I hate it
- 14:15Speaker 1: when people talk about the way other people look. And
- 14:19Speaker 1: she added that she has total disdain for the show
- 14:21Speaker 1: and the entire franchise and she's never ever watched it.
- 14:24Speaker 1: She's a quote, I don't watch Bravo period. I've never
- 14:28Speaker 1: seen a lot of the shows. I'm now starting a
- 14:31Speaker 1: company and did most of that myself. She added that
- 14:34Speaker 1: she lost a job in finance and she hasn't been
- 14:36Speaker 1: able to get another one. She blames that on the
- 14:38Speaker 1: reality show, and so she seems like a really angry,
- 14:42Speaker 1: angry young person who are really really angry about her
- 14:46Speaker 1: mom's success, her mom's fame. I get it, Ramona Singer
- 14:49Speaker 1: cannot be easy as a mummy. You know, I've met
- 14:52Speaker 1: most of the housewives. People think Bethany Frnkle is my
- 14:55Speaker 1: least favorite housewife because we just don't get along personally.
- 14:58Speaker 1: There's been a lot of beef between Bethany and my
- 15:01Speaker 1: good self over the years, but that's not true. Ramona
- 15:03Speaker 1: Singer is my least favorite housewife. She really is the
- 15:06Speaker 1: rudiest housewife I've ever ever met, so being her daughter
- 15:09Speaker 1: cannot be easy. However, lashing out on other people, Oh,
- 15:13Speaker 1: it's never a good look, is it. Calling other people
- 15:16Speaker 1: fat doesn't make you thin, Calling other people duckfaces doesn't
- 15:20Speaker 1: make you and a raving beauty. Don't do it. Don't
- 15:24Speaker 1: lash out at other people. The only person that looks
- 15:27Speaker 1: like a fool is you. Hey, We're going to take
- 15:30Speaker 1: a quick break and we will be right back. Welcome
- 15:34Speaker 1: back to the Nordy by Night Show. IM your host,
- 15:36Speaker 1: Rob Shooter, Hay Naughties. Let's get to the polls. Thank you.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I love it when you sing along. So on our
- 15:43Speaker 1: last show, we talked about Harry and Megan are planning
- 15:47Speaker 1: to give up their titles, their sussex titles and instead
- 15:51Speaker 1: use Princess di Anna's Maden name Spencer as their surname.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Do you like the sound of Harry and Megan Spencer.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Let's have a look. Seventy five percent said yes, you
- 16:05Speaker 1: like it. I do too. Don't forget to vote Ontoday's
- 16:09Speaker 1: pol Taylor Swift, Meghan Markle. Hey, go vote on our
- 16:14Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty Nice rom or a Facebook page
- 16:17Speaker 1: which is naughty go z him. I'm sure to check
- 16:20Speaker 1: back tomar Rauer to hear your results. And now it's
- 16:24Speaker 1: time for an nicest of the day. Taylor Swift is
- 16:28Speaker 1: asking her fans to not cyber bully her ex John Mayer.
- 16:34Speaker 1: So during a performance. During a performance, Taylor said that
- 16:38Speaker 1: she didn't want her fans and she didn't want her
- 16:40Speaker 1: fans to go after John's so she sang Dear John,
- 16:44Speaker 1: a song she's not performed in a really really long
- 16:47Speaker 1: time eleven years, and she put it as her a
- 16:50Speaker 1: surprise song during her show. She has a couple of
- 16:53Speaker 1: songs that are surprises. They change every single night. The
- 16:56Speaker 1: fans love it. When I saw her, was really exciting
- 16:58Speaker 1: to see what she was going to sing. She reached
- 17:00Speaker 1: back into the archives and pulled out Dear John. It's
- 17:03Speaker 1: a nearly seven minute ballad and it is believed to
- 17:06Speaker 1: be about John Mayer, and it tells the story about
- 17:09Speaker 1: a teenager's girl's a relationship with an older older man.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Their age difference was twelve years. So she said, I'm
- 17:16Speaker 1: now thirty three years old and I don't care about
- 17:18Speaker 1: what happened to me when I was nineteen. I'm not
- 17:21Speaker 1: putting out an album so that you guys need to
- 17:24Speaker 1: defend me on the internet against somebody who might think
- 17:27Speaker 1: that I have written a song about them fourteen billion
- 17:33Speaker 1: years ago. So she's telling her fancy, she's just fine.
- 17:36Speaker 1: She doesn't care about things that happened when she was nineteen.
- 17:39Speaker 1: She's thirty three years old. She's on the top of
- 17:42Speaker 1: the world, so she does not want any cyber bullying here. Taylor,
- 17:47Speaker 1: You're our nicest of the day, and naughty is the day. Naughty, naughty,
- 17:50Speaker 1: really sad news of London. The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson,
- 17:54Speaker 1: has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Cancer is and naughty
- 17:58Speaker 1: is the gain of the day. The Duchess of York
- 18:01Speaker 1: has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her spokesperson has confirmed.
- 18:05Speaker 1: The Duchess, who is sixty three, was given the news
- 18:09Speaker 1: at a recent routine man a grand Screaming and has
- 18:12Speaker 1: undergone successful surgery. So after spending several days in hospital,
- 18:17Speaker 1: the Duchess has been discharged and is recovering at the
- 18:21Speaker 1: Royal Lodge in Windsor, the home that she shares with
- 18:24Speaker 1: the controversial Duke of York. The Duchess was treated at
- 18:29Speaker 1: the private King Edward Hospital in central London. This is
- 18:33Speaker 1: where the Queen has been. Lots of royals have been
- 18:36Speaker 1: to this hospital for decades. It really is the Royal Hospital,
- 18:39Speaker 1: one of the great hospitals in London. A spokesperson added
- 18:43Speaker 1: that the Duchess wanted to express her immense gratitude to
- 18:48Speaker 1: all the medical staff who have supported her in recent days.
- 18:52Speaker 1: The day before she was admitted to hospital, Sarah Ferguson
- 18:55Speaker 1: did talk about her diagnosis on her new podcast today.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I listened to it this morning, really beautiful comments and
- 19:04Speaker 1: that the takeaway is please get tested, please get screened,
- 19:09Speaker 1: even if you don't think there's a problem. Sarah did
- 19:11Speaker 1: not think there was a problem at all, but she
- 19:14Speaker 1: did go and get screened because her sister was bugging
- 19:17Speaker 1: her to do it, so that's why she did it,
- 19:19Speaker 1: and this now has detected something that she could deal
- 19:22Speaker 1: with immediately. We should point out too that Sarah has
- 19:25Speaker 1: worked with Teenage Cancer Trust for more than three decades.
- 19:29Speaker 1: In fact, when her daughters turned eighteen, she took them
- 19:32Speaker 1: to the Teenage Cancer Trust units to teach them how
- 19:36Speaker 1: to give back now. Sarah said, this is a moment
- 19:40Speaker 1: for her to give back to herself, and she's actually
