After two centuries of history, the iconic Buxton Inn is roaring back to life—with a major renovation, a September 23rd grand reopening, and even Governor Mike DeWine cutting the ribbon. Bought by New England Development Co. in April, the property is being transformed with new stairs, restored fountains, a revamped courtyard for dining, and upgraded event spaces. Once a stagecoach stop and home to presidents and writers, the inn survived a 2022 fire and now offers 25 rooms across five houses.
