The story of Uzzah in the Bible is one that is both pathetic and instructive. It is pathetic as Uzzah died when a little caution and carefulness would have kept him from such a fate, and instructive as it is a lesson to everyone, especially believers in Christ, not to take God's instructions and commands for granted. This is the message of today's Daily Devotional which emphasises the need for all to always abide by God's directions and instructions and not become presumptuous or disregard God's commands.
