- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Please help me welcome Rossi and Manka to the show.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited to have her here today.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: She is just, man, we just honestly, I think we really have only talked for like what a month?
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: When we met in Minnesota.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: We got to meet in person.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: We're both part of Few, which is Fellowship of Extraordinary Women.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: And I'm in the Twin Cities chapter.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: She's in the Milwaukee chapter.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: And I just want to give a thank you to Kimberly Joy, who who launched this.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: And that's how we're sitting here together today.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: So before we get into where you've been, what you're doing, and where you're going, could you just share a little bit about you to the audience?
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I uh recently there was like a shift change of how I introduced myself.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: So when I was sitting with producer Jen, she was like, Tell me about yourself, but don't tell me about all your accolades and all what you do and all these things.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: And she's like, What can you come up with?
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: And so I had this little cup that I wish I would have brought it, but it's so funny because it said raising boys, and so I brought the little cup and I showed it to the camera and I said, Hi, I'm Rossi, and I'm raising boys.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Can you picture it?
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: I love it, and I'm like, Yeah, I'm a mom of five boys, and there is never a dull moment in my house, and I like to tell people besides being an author, a speaker, a trainer, a coach, an ex-engineering and construction inspector, I am a mom raising these boys, and my mom's ministry is my first ministry, so it's it's a beautiful thing.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Though the word of God says, you know, children are heritage from the Lord.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: And I mean, I've really warred for these kids, I've really went to battle for these kids because at the end of the day, they're God's kids, and He blessed me to be their mama.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: So that's who I am.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: Well, I love this Jen who had you to like come up with a new way of introducing yourself.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: I think for some, I think it can be really hard as well, because I think our our natural position when asked that question, I always love to see where people are gonna go.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because a lot of times, you know, we go to what we do, right?
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: We go to like what we do, not who we be.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: So you you are a mama, but who do you be?
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: Who are you?
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: Like, who is the deepest recess of Rossi?
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Like, who did God create you to be?
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: We talked a little bit about this before we started.
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: And if you guys are on YouTube, you can see.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: I'm just gonna like kind of clue you into what happened earlier, but the Lord had me to wear this shirt.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: It says, You've got a line inside of those lungs, so get up and praise the Lord.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: And it's from the song Gratitude by Brandon Lake, and I felt like this was for her today.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: So tell us, like, who do you be?
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and that is so prophetic, really, because over the weekend I was at the few women's leadership course, and she had us sit quietly and listen to God and ask him, What is my identity?
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: And so as I sat there, the Lord just poured into my heart, and I said, Lord, who am I to you?
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: And he said, You are my mighty warrior.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: And when we all talked about this identity that God gave us, everyone was like, Oh, yeah, that's totally you, Rossi.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Like, as soon as your feet hit the ground in the morning, like you are ready.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: You are ready to fight the battles, you are ready to war on behalf of your community, your children, your family.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Like I get like I'm this bold lion, just like Jesus is, but yet gentle as a dove.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: So, like I hate the enemy, but I see the people and love people like Jesus loved them with this compassion, with this empathy, that he wept for people, and then seeing Jesus as this bold leader that is casting out demons, right?
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: That is talking back to the Pharisees, that's standing up for righteousness.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Like that's who God created me to be.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: And for such a long time, I did not like that identity because I portrayed myself as being this woman that had to be quiet, that that always had to just shut my mouth.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: Because in my family, there's many women in our family line, and we all have bold mouths.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: So I saw it as more as a curse than as a blessing.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: But what I didn't realize is that there's a time to speak and there's a time to be silent, right?
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: There's a time to stand your ground, but there's a time to be silent and let the Lord fight those battles.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: And there, even with our gifts, we have to have the graces, that grace to say, this is how I'm gonna pour my gift into the world.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: And so I feel like God has just been preparing me for that and really just sharpening my sword and just and and just strengthen strengthening me in those tools and abilities that he's given me.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: And yeah, and that is that is who I am, and I love it.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: And a part of me was always a fighter, but I fought for the wrong cause.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: I used to be involved with gangs, and so whenever I was like fierce for battle, or whenever like now, like being that strong force, I kind of was like kind of like shrunk in shame because you know, that identity from my past when I used my gift for you know, violence, for anger, for rage, for being a part of the gang, it sort of made me shrink.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: But no, God has forgiven me of my past, yeah, and I know who I am in Christ, and those are the gifts that God gave me to use for the right reasons and to fight for righteousness.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: So good.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I want to capture one thing and then we're gonna capture another thing.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: We're gonna go back a moment.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: So the next time somebody asks you, who are you?
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: Like, tell us more about you.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: You get to say, I'm Rossi, and I am a mighty warrior.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: Yes, for God's kingdom, amen, hallelujah.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: And I'm raising raising voice and I'm raising boys.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: We need to be a warrior to raise boys, exactly, exactly raise boys too.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: Yes, just not as many.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I want to I want to go back a little bit to Rossi of the past who warrior.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, you've always been a warrior, yes.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's in your DNA, right?
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: So how did you like how did you get involved in gangs and what did that look like for you growing up?
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: Like, were you in the church?
- 8:14SPEAKER_01: Were you a believer?
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: Like, what did that look like for you?
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: You go down that road if you're open to sharing with us.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: And I will say it's also in my book, Unshakable, A Woman in Christ.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: Yes, it's it's literally the name of the book again if somebody would they didn't hear it.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: Unshakable, a woman in Christ by Rossi Manka.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: And it really it is my it is really my memoir of like the good, the bad, the ugly, the saving grace, the redemption story, um, the the abuse I face, the sexual molestation I face, the little girl that was looking for love in all the wrong places, that was rejected by a daddy that had these daddy wounds, that was trying to find love in men, and and being a yes girl to all the wrong things through gangs, through promiscuous living, through just wanting to be loved.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: So I found myself in these relationships that was not real love, and how I came out out of came out out of it all and just let daddy just keep wiping the tears and creating this stronger person that could say no to those things, but yes to God.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: And I just watched him heal me and helped me through my career, through my schooling, through my identity, through my assignments, and not just he like recovering from all of that, but going back, healing from those painful parts of my past, and then being able to say, like, now I gotta help somebody else, right?
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: Yes, so it could be a ripple effect, and that's why I wrote my my book.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: So, like, even if you're successful, you might still have all these wounds that daddy just still needs to heal you from.
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: So that's that's the book.
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: I want to ask a question about that.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, when did first of all, like when did you come out of this lifestyle and get reoriented?
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, it wasn't like like just like a a quick change.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: It it was through my 20s.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: I want to say like the reckless, reckless living was probably my early 20s.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: And then I remember about 23 years old, 24 years old, I decided, okay, it's enough.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: I really need to like find a job.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: And at the time I had one child, and I'm like, yeah, I need to get my life together because I'm raising this son of mine, and we're basically living from place to place, and I just really need to get my act together.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: And so I I prayed to God.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: It was a simple prayer, like, please, Lord, please, Lord, help me.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: And those are those tiny little prayers, right?
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: That I remember back when I was still living in the world, like, but God still heard those, you know, he still honored those.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: And he really like, like, I'm telling you, like, I was faithful to put in that application at a temp agency.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: I found a job, then I found childcare, then I found a home.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: Like, God really like lined those things up for me as this mother that was just still like back and forth.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: And when I saw that, I just was so grateful and thankful to God.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: And I might not have been living the way I should have 100%, but that's okay.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: God was gonna work on me, and that could take years, decades, right?
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: And even even now, I'm still not in that that place, right, of perfection because we'll never be there until we go to heaven, but God still works, and so you know, uh in my 20s, as I was growing in my 20s, my late 20s, instead of taking one step forward and two steps back, I was taking multiple steps forward and just one step back until I would say, yeah, until I would say I was like in my late 20s, early 30s is when I really like decided, okay, I'm gonna live for for Jesus.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: You know, God called me in a dream.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: That's another story where he told me in his audible voice, get to work.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: When I heard that, I said, I knew I knew what that meant.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: What did that mean?
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: That meant you're gonna share your life testimony as a testimony of what I did for you in all that darkness, bring it to light and help so many other people who need healing and restoration in God that to just need to be loved and say, Yeah, I know you did all that, but if I cleaned up Rossi, I could clean you up too.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: If I did it for somebody else, I can do it for you.
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: That's so good.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: And I think like I've I've talked to to people about this before.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Like, you have a choice, right?
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: So you get rescued from the pit and you can go back.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: I call it being a pit puller.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: Like you come out and you can either keep going forward or yeah, you can turn around and you can start rescuing people from that pit.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: So, what did that look like for you to?
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, there's a bee.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: I haven't seen a bee lately.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: They're notorious right now.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: When I see bees.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: So when you came out of the pit, in essence, he's like, get to work, right?
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: Get to work.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: What did that look like?
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: And did you like did he give you a blueprint of what that looked like?
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: Did you have next steps?
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: Because I love how you said like three steps forward and one step back, and even like three steps forward, you're like one step back to turn around and bring people with you, almost, right?
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: He well, I would say uh if we could back up a little bit, he pulled me out of the pit quite a bit.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: I remember one specific scenario where I was doing so good in life.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: I was like already on this road to recovery, and there's a chapter in my book called Meeting Lucifer, and that was the deceitful relationship that I should have never failed.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: All the red flags were there.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: And maybe God wants me to bring up this story because maybe there's somebody listening on the call that's ignoring all the red flags, and God's got you in a place where he's moving you forward.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: But if you choose not to listen to those red flags, right, even if even if your faith is small or if you have, you know, big faith, wherever you're at in your walk with God, those people can come into our lives so deceitful with lies, just like Lucifer.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: And if we choose to ignore those red flags, then it really does bring us three steps back.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: And that's what it did for my life.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: And but God is still good, right?
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: And he still used that, right?
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: So he still used it for my good.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: And I still got out of that.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: I had did I should I've gone through that?
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: No, but God still used it, God still used it for his purpose, he still used it for another testimony and another story, and so so getting out of that pit, I mean, unfortunately, I had to go through the consequences because where there's sin, there's still consequences.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: But he just kept, you know, getting me out of the pit until I like snapped out of it.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: And I eventually did.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: And like I said, when I finally was on this crusade to get to work, right?
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: I knew instantly, okay, I gotta change my friends, my circle.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: That was a uh like a must.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: Like, I I think I chuckled and told God, okay, God, if you want me to get to work and do what I'm called to do, then then you need to change my friends.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: I'm like, because the ones I have, I love them dearly, but that's not gonna help me move through this season and eat that community.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: So I went to a K-Love concert because I'm like, ah, I just need that worship, that fire in me.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: So I experienced a concert.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: Um, I believe it was the Toby Mack concert that was in March.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: And then while I was on K-Love, I found the fellowship of extraordinary women.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: There was the Lioness Roar Conference.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: Stop it.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Yes, and you got the lion on your sweater.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: It was called the Lioness Roar Conference.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: That was gonna be, I believe it was September, and so I was just so excited.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: I just I couldn't wait to fast forward and get there.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: But you know, I was I was like, okay, I could be patient, I can wait, but in the meantime, I can saturate myself with the community of believers, which was at church, and I went to like a discipleship class, so I was like finding all of these faith-based things that I could do.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: And then once I went to this conference, that was it, like game over.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Um God, you have my surrender.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: He healed me from daddy wounds and restored my daddy too, like even the years after that, our our relationship, and there was just like gosh, God redeemed so much, and it was so beautiful.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: And now I've written three books.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: And how long ago was this conference?
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: This conference, it's it's about it was about five years ago.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: So five years ago, yep.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: So 2021, I believe it was right after COVID.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: Okay, so this get to work was when like 2020.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: I believe it what was the same, so yeah, like 2020, 2021-ish.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: I was about 30 years old.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: Okay, okay.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: So I'm just capturing the time here because wow, he's done like a very accelerate.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: Accelerated, expedient.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: Well, and that's funny because the philosophy on few is to be awaken, activated, accelerated.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: I don't know that I knew that, like right at this moment.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: Awaken, activated, accelerate.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: God wants to awaken you, he wants to activate you, and he wants to accelerate you.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: Amen.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: Well, I've been with few since for like two years.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: Or maybe even last year, since Heidi launched it.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: I think it was just last year.
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: So you have this, you have this acceleration that happens to you in that in that time, in that moment, the conference, being around those people.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: I know for for many who have had a pretty rapid transformation.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: There's have you had moments where even still you know, we're we're we're in process, right?
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: And I would love for you to just share kind of maybe some of the things that you've walked through still since having this awakening, the acceleration since 2021.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: You have three books, like since then.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: So what has happened to you since then?
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: Well, tell us, like, yeah, Warrior has been awakened.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: It is, yeah.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: It's like the David in me was awakened, and it it truly has.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: Like, God moved me from place to place and built my character.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: Like throughout all these years, God really, really was building my character, finding the fears in me and putting me in places where I can face those fears.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: He's also refined me through wilderness seasons.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: And I feel like through all of that, well, I know that it was all preparation.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: And then throughout those years, I wrote these books.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: So I wrote Unshakable was like the beginning, right?
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: It was like from my childhood up until I was activated, and it showed how in the book it talks about how I left my corporate job and and how I surrendered and just kind of allowed God to move me from place to place, like the Israelites.
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: And then we had experienced like I would say a chain of deaths in our in our close family.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: And I just was like, you know, people need hope that it doesn't end at death.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: There's redemption after death, there's redemption while we're still alive, there's redemption in faith, there's redemption in obedience, there's redemption in forgiveness, and that's where I wrote this uh ministry book called A Father's Redemption.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: And it's about all the ways God redeems us and restores us.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: Chapter seven is specifically about death.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: And so for anybody that has questions or is experienced somebody that passed away, chapter seven is written by my aunt who is a street evangelist and has gone through people dear to her that passed away in different types of scenarios.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: And so it's it's a beautiful story in chapter seven, but it's powerful because it speaks to faith, it speaks about biblical biblical characters who you can articulate to now to modern day and how you can fight modern day spiritual warfare through some of these patriotic pay what's the word patriarchs, patriarchs stories, yep, stories like Esther, for example, like Abraham, like it's just powerful.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: And then there's prayers at the end to come against and renounce generational strongholds and sin patterns and things like that.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: So it's it's it's powerful.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: Okay, so good.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: So kind of curious because this has been an accelerated, you know, journey for you.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: Um how did you come to learn about?
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: Like generational strongholds and patterns and all the things because I feel like maybe we can go here for a moment because I got saved from addiction when I was 25, and we didn't talk about that kind of stuff.
- 22:49SPEAKER_01: They didn't no we didn't learn about this kind of stuff until probably I would say about seven, eight years ago.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: And I'm 48.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: Wow, wow.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: It was like when I was 40.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: It was like coming out of the wilderness.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: So tell me, like, how did you come to learn about it?
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: Like, how did you come to maybe get free of some of these strongholds in your own family?
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: Would you mind?
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: Because I feel like some people just don't even know that this is a thing.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: Right, right.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: And and you know, uh as I wrote my memoir, I I realized the patterns.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: I saw the patterns in my family, and one of them is alcoholism, one of them is addiction.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: So you you you start to see these patterns, and you can renounce these things, you can break the generational pattern for these things, but it really also has to do with you saying no to those things, right?
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: Like when the temptation comes, because what did Satan do when Jesus was in the wilderness?
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: He tempted him, right?
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: He's the temperature, offered, offered, yep, and then Jesus didn't submit, and it says that the devil left him for an opportune time, until an opportune time.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: So he the Satan leaves, but he'll come back, right?
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: And so the way Satan operates, he's been operating in this world for thousands, thousands of years.
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: There's nothing new under the sun, like Ecclesiastic 3 says, and the tempter is very he's a trickster, right?
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: Trickery, and he knows how to manipulate things, but no temptation is nothing too hard that you can come out of.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: And so he knows the temptations that the family lineage struggles through.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: So the moment we can realize that, renounce those things and make a stand to say, nope, I'm not gonna be my family line's not gonna be plagued by this anymore, we have to take healthy steps and actions to prevent those things, to say, yep, the enemy, the enemy likes to, you know, come and tempt us this way.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: But if our family is aware of those things, so awareness and not hiding things in the closet like our ancestors did, but being aware, like you know, alcoholism is a thing in our family line.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: People don't know self-control.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: So if you don't know self-control, you can't enjoy a glass of wine or a beer without it getting out of hand, then you probably don't want to even touch that because it is something that our family has dealt with and struggled with.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: So that's the gist of it.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: And I came to awareness through this is through a discipleship class at our church.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: And in that discipleship class, they gave us these prayers, which I actually included it in the at the back of a father's redemption.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: There's three strong prayers that you can pray to renounce those things, and you can like command all those spirits operating and blah, blah, blah.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: You can sever it in the spirit and renounce all ungodly thought and patterns.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: And then the moment you do that, I believe and I know that God can really work in your life and and and really help you through those things.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Because when we make agreements with the devil, when we make agreements with the altars, you might not know willingly that you're doing that, but as soon as you say, if as soon as you have an agreement like I'll never, and then you can fill in the blanks, you're agreeing with the enemy.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: If it's not, if it's not life, then it's darkness and it's death, right?
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: You know, the the word says that life and death are in the power of the tongue, so speak life, so it's either black or white, it's one of the two.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: So this is just a good reminder that yes, let's renounce and and come against any agreements that we have made, yeah, unknowingly or knowingly, and then God can really move into our lives, or he might say, Okay, now can you forgive this person?
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: Or now let's work on this.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: So and it's it seems like it, at least for me, it's come in layers, like yes, it is now we're now we've gotten through this part, now it's the next part.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: And sometimes I'm like, Are there more?
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: Like I thought we were done.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: I don't think we'll ever be done because we live in the world, yeah.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: We live, we live in the world, and one of the things that God showed me that I was that you know, I was making an idol before him was complaining.
- 27:22SPEAKER_00: There was a certain situation that I was complaining all the time, and then it God is saying, you know, are you gonna keep complaining about that?
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: Or are you gonna put me first and trust that you know I got this and put it into my hands and then let it go?
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: Or so it's like, okay, am I loving the complaint?
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: So there's just things that we do that we don't realize that, and it's okay.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: God is gonna, God is a forgiving and merciful God, but He wants us to live, He He wants us to live in Him, He wants us to have peace in our day, joy in our day, He wants us to live abundantly, and you know, putting some of those things at the forefront can really we can really idolize.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: That's the scary part.
- 28:06SPEAKER_01: So yeah, but again, I love what you just said because I think it leads us into what I see in you as one who carries peace, who carries joy.
- 28:19SPEAKER_01: After I heard the depth of your story that you've walked through recently, and just like literally, like you're unshakable.
- 28:28SPEAKER_01: And I know you have moments because we all have moments, and especially as mamas, you've walked through some really challenging times recently.
- 28:38SPEAKER_01: And I know you wanted to share this journey with our audience today, Hope Unlocked, because I do believe your journey is something that is gonna bring hope to so many.
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: So tell us more of what you've been walking through with one of your little men, yeah, warriors.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: So, as I mentioned before, I have five boys, and the last pregnancy uh were twins, twin, it was a twin pregnancy, and the whole pregnancy itself was very complicated, and we were actually trying for a little girl, and I really thought, you know, this was it.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: This pregnancy is gonna be my fourth and done, and I'm gonna have this little girl, and that's it.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: But I remember being in the kitchen and I was praying, like me and my husband planted the seed, and I was playing praying for this little girl, but then at the end of the prayer, you know, I was in tears, and I think I always knew, and I said, you know, but not my will be done, but yours be done, Lord.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: And the months went by, went to my appointment, found out they were twins, and then found out that they were identical twins, so they're either boy, boy, girl, girl.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh yeah, they're not girls.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: I was like, I just knew I, you know, I had three boys, and then they're saying identical twins.
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: I was like, yeah, no, I don't even know what I would do with two girls because I'm such a boy mom.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: And and then sure enough, we found out that they were boys, and but God had already prepared me in advance, he had gave me a dream even before I knew the gender.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: And in the dream, I was in this place holding a little boy, and I had like uncovered him because he had had like hoodie on, and I had it was like covering his eyes, and I like uncovered him, and it was this little boy, and he was he was very petite looking, and then I remember looking around and I see a stroller, and I realize the other babies in the stroller, so I go by the stroller, look into the stroller, and I see this baby super chunky, super happy, joyful, looking at me and got so joyful when he saw me.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: And then so I am with that baby, and then I'm holding this baby, and they're both just happy babies.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: One was skinnier though, petite, and the other one was a little bit more chunky.
- 31:13SPEAKER_00: So when I woke up that day, I told my husband, I said, The babies are boys.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: I said, and one's gonna be skinny and the other one's gonna be chunky.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: And he was like, Oh yeah, he was like, he was like, Yeah, tell me about the little girl then, and I started laughing.
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: I was like, Oh my gosh.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: And so then I was like, watch, you'll see.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: So then we found out that they were boys, and I was like, Yep, that you know, God had already shown me in a dream.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but then the pregnancy really turned for the worst, and I was actually pregnant with mono dye twins, so that means that I had one placenta but two sacks, and I ended up needing to go to Minnesota for a surgery to separate the twins and the placenta, they had conjoining veins and arteries, and so where Joshua was pumping blood to Mauricio, Mauricio was not pumping blood back, so Joshua was actually called the donor and Mauricio was the recipient.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: In some cases with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, they share equally and nicely.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: But in some cases, one starves, the other gets too much.
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: And so this is what had happened.
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: And I remember thinking, like, no, God, you know, I have the power to fight this, speak life, and rebuke this, and everything's gonna be fine.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: They're gonna share nicely, we're gonna get through this, and blah, blah, blah.
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: That's great.
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: You know, I had all the faith, the unshakable faith.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: I came out of all this darkness, all this stuff, you know, and I'm like, you know, we got this, it's gonna be good.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: You know, we're gonna come back and it's all gonna be good.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: And no, it was not.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: It the things had progressed.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: It was like the harder I was like hitting the ground praying, the harder the church was praying, the harder everything we were doing, and we just seen this progress.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, God, what is going on?
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: Now I have to have a surgery, and I had emergency epidectomy three weeks before the laparoscopic surgery in Minnesota.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: So I was already on bed rest.
- 33:27SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, that was the second surgery, and I'm like, my mind was just blown, yeah, and I wasn't I wasn't like angry at God, I could not be angry at God for what God had brought me out of in my other years, and I have witnessed times where he's literally saved my life.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: I wasn't angry at God, but I was questioning a lot of things, right?
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: And which like I think you we we it's natural, right?
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: It is, yeah, very natural.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: And but you know, I I went through this surgery before the surgery.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: Me and my husband sought the Lord, and I asked God, I am not gonna move out of this bed, I am not gonna proceed with anything until you give me a word.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: I I needed, I need I just needed him to speak to me, whether it was in an audible voice, whether it was through prayer, whether it was through the word of God.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: I I just needed to get clarity of what's gonna happen.
- 34:29SPEAKER_00: Because in that situation, they were saying you could lose one of them or you could lose both.
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: If I proceeded with the surgery, I could lose both, or I could lose one of them.
- 34:41SPEAKER_00: If I don't go through the surgery, I would probably have the guarantee that I would actually come out of the pregnancy with one.
- 34:47SPEAKER_00: So would I be willing to go through this?
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, as a parent, what would you do?
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: I it it it right, it's paralyzing.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: Lord, like you he's really the only answer to give you the next step, right?
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, and then it's coming out of it saying if one if if both do pass, was I being selfish?
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: You know, it's like all these things that was going through my mind.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: And so we were praying, my husband, we prayed, we cried, and then we like sort of laid down, he fell asleep, and I remember just laying there, and God said, Get out of paper and write.
- 35:31SPEAKER_00: So I'm holding the paper.
- 35:33SPEAKER_00: He said, Go to Matthew 18.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: I go to Matthew 8, I believe it's 1819, something like that.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: And I wrote down the verse and it said, And neither is it my father's will that any of these little ones should perish.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: And I said, I was like, Okay, game over.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: I woke up my husband, God's gonna make that up.
- 35:54SPEAKER_01: You cannot make that up.
- 35:55SPEAKER_00: I go, Oh my gosh, Lord, this is your promise.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: It is not your will that any of these little ones should perish.
- 36:02SPEAKER_00: Now I use it for all my five children because I believe that's the promise for all five of them.
- 36:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I'm like, okay, let's go through this surgery.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: I'm like, God's got this, it's not his will.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: He said these, that means plural, we're not losing them.
- 36:18SPEAKER_00: That's my promise.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: And I went through the rest of the pregnancy holding on to that promise.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: Even when I got admitted to the hospital for 27 weeks, five days pregnant, had them C-section at 32 weeks.
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: And then a week later, Joshua ended up getting necrotizing and colitis.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: He had a disease of the stomach bowel where they removed a lot of his bowel, a lot of his digestive system.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: He went through five surgeries, he went through a final surgery this July 16th.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: He had an ostomy bag.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: They said he was gonna be on IV nutrition.
- 36:54SPEAKER_00: He had a stroke while he was in my stomach.
- 36:57SPEAKER_00: They said his brain was deformed.
- 36:59SPEAKER_00: He was gonna, you know, these are all things that they're seeing in the natural.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: So I'm not mad at that.
- 37:04SPEAKER_00: You're a doctor, you're just telling me what's what's right, what you're seeing.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: But I had doctors praying.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: I found faithful nurses that were praying.
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: We were praying.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: Our stay, our year stay for the first five months, he was in the NICU.
- 37:19SPEAKER_00: The other one was two months in the NICU in two separate hospitals, and then we were in and out of the hospital for for like that this this whole year.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: We got out August 3rd.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: It was like home, but then back recording like September 21st.
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: So yeah, like how long have you been like in hospital?
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so the babies were born September 29th.
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: Their birthdays are literally three days from now.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: I know, I know, and I'm like, oh my gosh, god, and I'm seeing him do the finished work, I'm seeing him like restoring my children, my babies, like the redemption in it all is beautiful.
- 37:59SPEAKER_00: And I could have said, Nope, but I said, Not my will be done, but your will be done.
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: And if you remember when Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane and he cried and he asked God if you could take this cup away from me, but nevertheless, not my will be done, your will be done.
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: He he drank that cup, and so I'm like, if Jesus drank out of that cup, I could drink out of that cup too.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: Yes, and that hospital state turned into a hospital ministry.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: I prayed.
- 38:30SPEAKER_01: I was gonna just ask you, could you go there, please?
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: Tell us more.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it turned into a hospital ministry.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: We I prayed for so many NICU babies.
- 38:40SPEAKER_00: One NICU baby almost died right in front of us.
- 38:43SPEAKER_00: Me and my husband were so paralyzed, but I said, Let's pray.
- 38:47SPEAKER_00: We held our hands and prayed for that child.
- 38:50SPEAKER_00: Like the things we saw, the trauma we experienced, like God got us through.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: Like, that's the title.
- 38:58SPEAKER_00: God got this, God's got this.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: Like this, yeah.
- 39:03SPEAKER_01: That's this is gonna be the title of this podcast.
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, God's got this.
- 39:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: That's the title of the of really the testimony.
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: Like, even when it looks so ugly, so dark, so just paralyzing, just step out in faith, worship him.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: Can you worship him through it?
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: Because the moment Joshua got to children's hospital and they told us that it looked severe and that they think it's the scenario where they'll go in, there won't be nothing alive in there, they'll have to close him up and me hold my little baby until he passes.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: Like, talk about crying and weeping.
- 39:45SPEAKER_00: We had to choose were we gonna believe that, or were we gonna go into the other room and worship God that He we are gonna find whole healed and healthy tissue?
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: Kept praying for that.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and when the doctors came back and told us it's way better than what we thought, we found some some healthy tissue in there.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: Joshua has a chance to live.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: I'm like, praise God, as he said, he gave me that promise, and neither is it my father's will that any of these little ones should perish.
- 40:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, can I ask you a question?
- 40:19SPEAKER_01: Because you know, we we've you mentioned earlier, like speaking life, you know, there's power in our words, and you know, just even in my own history with the medical system at times, and I am thankful for the medical system, we need them, but we do have found that there are a a lot of times that they are speaking death over these.
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: So, how did you being who you are as a mighty warrior?
- 40:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, how did you you know, when you're hearing these things and God's giving you something that's you know opposite of what you're hearing?
- 40:57SPEAKER_01: You know, obviously the testimony of them seeing the prayers come to light and life happening.
- 41:06SPEAKER_01: Did you ever did you ever feel like like did you ever say anything?
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: Like, please don't talk like this to people anymore?
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: Like, I just want to know.
- 41:14SPEAKER_01: Would you I'm so glad you brought that up?
- 41:16SPEAKER_01: People do this because yeah, somebody else might be facing similar or yeah, tell us how you walked this out.
- 41:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay, so after the surgery from Joshua, the doctors, okay, they, you know, his his life was saved, and but they came back and they would say, Oh, your son is really sick, you know, he's doing okay, he's really sick.
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: And I kept hearing that they would come into the room because when when when you're at the hospital, it's not just one doctor, you got like your attending physicians, you got your fellows, you got you got all these different doctors coming in.
- 41:58SPEAKER_00: So in one given day, I might see like 10, 15 people.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: Well, one of the uh, you know, one of the the words they kept saying was, oh, your son is really sick.
- 42:09SPEAKER_00: And I just every time they said that, I just got like this knife stabbing experience.
- 42:17SPEAKER_00: Like I would like, oh, like I could just feel it in my heart.
- 42:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: And at one point, I had to come to terms with myself.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: Am I gonna say something or am I just gonna keep like again, shrink back and and just allow them to come into this room and say this, that, and the other?
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: So one of the doctors came in, super nice, doctor.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, she's kind in itself, but she said that word again.
- 42:43SPEAKER_00: And I said, Can I can I request something?
- 42:46SPEAKER_00: And you can definitely put it in my chart and let everybody become aware of that.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: She goes, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: I say, can you stop using the term that's he that he's really sick?
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: I said, Can you actually use the term, you know, as he's healing and recovering?
- 43:02SPEAKER_00: I said, Because there's power in those words.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: No, he's healing and recovering.
- 43:07SPEAKER_00: No, he's resting, healing and recovering.
- 43:09SPEAKER_00: Yes, he's ill.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, even that word is a little bit better.
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's ill, but he's resting and recovering.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: So see how that changes and saying, Oh, he's really, really sick.
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: Like I don't want to give life to that.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's not, it's not, and and they did, you know, they, you know, they were they were very, that's the one thing I will say about about the hospital, is that at that particular hospital, they were very respectful with with my decisions, and they said, okay, we can honor that.
- 43:42SPEAKER_00: And they did.
- 43:42SPEAKER_00: There was one time there was a nurse practitioner that I I knew, I knew she was a little snotty, she did not agree with with that.
- 43:52SPEAKER_00: But so after a while, she didn't use those terms, but I noticed once or twice she did, and I just had to rebuke it.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: I was like, you know what?
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna let this get me upset about it.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: When she would go, I said, nope, Lord, I cleaned the atmosphere.
- 44:05SPEAKER_00: Da da da da da da.
- 44:07SPEAKER_00: So fast forward, you know, we're now five months out.
- 44:11SPEAKER_00: Joshua is doing great, he's gaining weight.
- 44:15SPEAKER_00: Mama was there on his side, being an advocate for him, working with the doctors, working with them.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: We got to a point where the doctors are like, okay, make sure mama knows, make sure mom is okay with that diagnosis, make sure mom not the diagnosis, but make sure mom is okay with like the steps forward or the medical.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: We're gonna administr.
- 44:36SPEAKER_00: And they always involved me.
- 44:37SPEAKER_00: They were like, nope, mama has to know, mama has to be okay with it.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: Because in Joshua's care, there were times where I could not be there.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: And the nurses were helpful and did what they could, but they would make decisions and they would, we would, we would go like five steps backwards.
- 44:55SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, no, no.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: And so I think as parents with with you know, if you have a child or a loved one that's in the hospital setting, make sure you understand, be an advocate, speak life.
- 45:09SPEAKER_00: And if you don't know, find somebody that can help you understand what's going on medically.
- 45:15SPEAKER_00: It's so important for us to partner, right?
- 45:20SPEAKER_00: Well, five months later, Joshua is graduating from the NICU, and now he's going to the GI Tower.
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: And that was like his way of we graduated from this step, we're gonna move to a different floor in the hospital, and then we're like gonna be out the door.
- 45:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:38SPEAKER_00: So the the week that we were preparing to move out of the NICU, I believe it was the day before.
- 45:45SPEAKER_00: I was in the hallway.
- 45:47SPEAKER_00: Excuse me.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: I just need water.
- 45:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, water is good.
- 45:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was leaving the NICU, the doors opened, and I'm walking out, and I I hear somebody crying behind me.
- 46:02SPEAKER_00: But now I'm like, okay, I got I have so many hours in the day, you know.
- 46:07SPEAKER_00: Then the other babies at home, I'm like, I gotta go.
- 46:10SPEAKER_00: But I keep hearing this lady kind of trail behind me crying because we're kind of both following the same path.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: And I say, No, I say, God, I gotta turn around and do something.
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: So I turn around and I go, Do you need a hug?
- 46:24SPEAKER_00: And this is this, there's this older woman crying, Hispanic background, and she's just in tears.
- 46:33SPEAKER_00: And and she goes, Yeah, you can give me a hug.
- 46:35SPEAKER_00: So I give her a hug.
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: And she's saying this in Spanish.
- 46:38SPEAKER_00: My Spanish is okay.
- 46:39SPEAKER_00: So, you know, I'm trying to just kind of follow along as she's speaking.
- 46:43SPEAKER_00: And I I'm telling her, I say, can you kind of tell me what's going on?
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: And she's like, see, see.
- 46:51SPEAKER_00: And she's telling me, like in Spanish, she goes, My daughter, my daughter, her baby is here in the NICU, and the baby has surgery, and and but the kidneys are f the organs are failing, and they're saying the baby's not gonna live to pull the core, to pull the plug.
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: And then um, she goes, but the baby's a twin and the other twin already passed away.
- 47:14SPEAKER_00: And so I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 47:16SPEAKER_00: So then I'm hugging her and I'm like, well, let's just pray.
- 47:19SPEAKER_00: And then I say, but do you, and then I stop and I go, Well, do you know the the specific issue?
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: And she says, The inch, I could hear her saying the intestines, the intestines, the intestines were were infected, the infection in the stomach, is stomach infection, and I go, right away, I knew what she was dealing with, what the baby girl was dealing with, and I'm like, no.
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: I said, you know what?
- 47:43SPEAKER_00: We're gonna, I said, what my son went through five months ago is the same thing this little girl is going through right now.
- 47:52SPEAKER_00: I said, No, I said, You're gonna go back in there, you're gonna speak life in that room, you're gonna tell them not to speak death, you're gonna continue to speak life, and you're gonna pray and you're gonna take authority, you're gonna go in there, and you're just you're gonna continue.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: And she there was just this boldness that overcame her, overpowered her, and she said, Okay, okay, she wiped away the tears, she went back in there, and I just I went about my day, and I was this like a part of me thought, okay, Lord, like I gave her hope, but if she passes, you know, I pray that that they would get through this time, and I and I said, But Lord, I gotta know.
- 48:38SPEAKER_00: I said, because you know, we can if if we can speak life, right?
- 48:44SPEAKER_00: We can go into the atmosphere of life, but sometimes we know people pass.
- 48:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and so when I got into my car, I was praying and praying and praying.
- 48:53SPEAKER_00: I called my aunt, called my sister.
- 48:55SPEAKER_00: We all started praying, and then I felt the Holy Spirit say she's gonna live, and I said, Oh, thank you, God.
- 49:03SPEAKER_00: I said, Lord, thank you.
- 49:05SPEAKER_00: Yes, the next day I went into that NICU.
- 49:08SPEAKER_00: I walked in slowly, I looked at the board because all the names are there.
- 49:12SPEAKER_00: I could see Josh because I usually would go in and see Joshua's last name and look at all his vitals.
- 49:17SPEAKER_00: So I saw I was looking at all the vitals, I looked for the room number, and she was still there.
- 49:24SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Oh my gosh, Lord, you are so good.
- 49:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and she lived, yeah.
- 49:29SPEAKER_00: And and now and then I pray for her.
- 49:31SPEAKER_00: I never never saw the lady again, never saw the baby, but I believe God's word, and she's a survivor, and they live through it.
- 49:41SPEAKER_00: And wow, yeah.
- 49:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, and you literally were walking forward and turned around, yeah.
- 49:49SPEAKER_01: Like what we were talking about earlier.
- 49:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 49:52SPEAKER_01: You guys all have an um an opportunity to do that in your life, like take what Rossi has said today with like I I want to take away, like especially the speaking life because in our world right now, yeah, there's not a lot of people doing that, honestly.
- 50:11SPEAKER_01: No, so what are you like what would you say to somebody who maybe feels like their lioness or a lion roarer has been silenced?
- 50:23SPEAKER_01: How would you unleash them today?
- 50:28SPEAKER_00: How would I unleash them today?
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: I would uh read the story of David and Goliath.
- 50:35SPEAKER_00: I I know that it's probably so cliche, but I know that we have our big Goliath, but we also have those little Goliaths.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: And if you let those little Goliaths continue to get the victory in our lives, and the little Goliath could just be those voices, right?
- 50:58SPEAKER_00: Then will we really slay that big Goliath?
- 51:01SPEAKER_00: So it's like being activated to like look at the bigger picture, and God has given you this.
- 51:10SPEAKER_00: Uh He's giving me this verse, you know, He has given us all the power, all the authority, all the dominion to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the powers of darkness.
- 51:23SPEAKER_00: So go ahead and trample on those snakes and scorpions and slay that big Goliath.
- 51:29SPEAKER_00: We all have the power, we all have the call to do it.
- 51:32SPEAKER_00: We all have the call to make disciples, right?
- 51:36SPEAKER_00: To disciple and to make other disciples.
- 51:39SPEAKER_00: And so if you don't believe me, it's in it's the last chapter of Matthew, Mark, Luke, it's all in there.
- 51:47SPEAKER_00: You you have it, you have the call, the authority, and the power, but that's also saying, okay, we're not gonna go in ignorance either and in pride, right?
- 51:56SPEAKER_00: We're gonna be wise.
- 51:58SPEAKER_00: So the verse, there's also a verse that says to be um, what is it, wise as serpents, right?
- 52:04SPEAKER_00: But innocent as doves, as doves, yeah, or yeah, and so it's like be wise, be discerning, right?
- 52:11SPEAKER_00: Get into God's word, know the power, right?
- 52:14SPEAKER_00: We just entered into the Hebrew calendar year 5787, and some scholars perceive that as the sword, yeah.
- 52:23SPEAKER_01: And so the sword is the word of God, yes, use the word of God to trample and overcome all the powers of the enemy, yes, and word is literally within the word sword, so yeah, oh yes, it's in there, yeah, exactly.
- 52:40SPEAKER_00: And this is the decade of pay, which is the mouth, so yeah, speak time to start roaring, and therefore speak, yep, speak what I what God has put in you.
- 52:51SPEAKER_00: It's there, it just needs to come out.
- 52:53SPEAKER_00: It does, it really needs to come out, and it's it's there.
- 52:57SPEAKER_00: God wants you to stand for righteousness, right?
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: In this lost and hurting world.
- 53:03SPEAKER_00: Who can you be right now?
- 53:04SPEAKER_00: What can you ask God?
- 53:06SPEAKER_00: So, and that that's what brings me to this.
- 53:09SPEAKER_00: It's like I have I created this little guide, and it's six questions to ask God when you don't know what you're doing in the now.
- 53:16SPEAKER_00: And it's asking God and really learning and growing and finding out what is that action, that one action step he's calling you to do, and what's that one truth he says about you?
- 53:29SPEAKER_00: And and you can find that on my website, rosymanka.com.

- 54:00SPEAKER_01: You mentioned the first two books.
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: What's the third book's name?
- 54:04SPEAKER_00: This one is called The Power of Yes, and it is a anthology of 19 other authors and our yes testimony of when we say yes, this is what happened.
- 54:16SPEAKER_00: And so mine's is called deliverance through obedience.
- 54:20SPEAKER_00: So, as I kept giving God my yes, he kept delivering me from these things.
- 54:25SPEAKER_00: So it's the yes story.

- 55:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I have a couple of verses that I believe God put in my heart to share.
- 55:11SPEAKER_00: And it says in Psalms 42, 1 through 2, God is our refuge in strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
- 55:18SPEAKER_00: Therefore we will not fear.
- 55:20SPEAKER_00: And then Isaiah 40, 31 is one of my favorite verses, and it's but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not be faint.
- 55:35SPEAKER_00: Isaiah 59 19.
- 55:36SPEAKER_00: When the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: Vengeance is mine, says the Lord.
- 55:46SPEAKER_00: Isaiah 41, 10.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: So do not fear, for I am with you.
- 55:50SPEAKER_00: Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
- 55:52SPEAKER_00: I will strengthen you and help you.
- 55:54SPEAKER_00: I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
- 55:57SPEAKER_00: The victory is his.
- 55:59SPEAKER_00: God's got this.
- 56:00SPEAKER_01: God's got this.
- 56:01SPEAKER_01: Amen.
- 56:02SPEAKER_01: So good.
- 56:03SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.

- 56:18SPEAKER_01: It's may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
