- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:20Very important website.
- 0:21I want to get out to you right now before we even introduce today's guest.
- 0:24And that is thembeforeus.com, thembeforeus.com.
- 0:32Friends, family and Christ, thank you so much for tuning into World View Matters for sharing
- 0:35the podcast.
- 0:36Our guest today is Katie Faust, founder and president of them before us.
- 0:41It's a global movement, defending children's right to their mother and father.
- 0:47She publishes, speaks and testifies widely on why marriage and family are matters of
- 0:53justice for children.
- 0:56Katie helped design the teen edition of Canavax, which studies sex, marriage and relationships
- 1:01from a natural law perspective.
- 1:04She detailed the philosophy of World View transmission in her book, Raising Conservative
- 1:09Kids in a Woke City.
- 1:12And she and her husband are raising their four children in Seattle.
- 1:15That's the Woke City, one of too many in the country.
- 1:17And her brand new book, which we're going to focus on today, is called Pro Child Politics.
- 1:24Pro Child Politics, and it was published just last month, so it is hot off the presses.
- 1:30Katie Faust, welcome to World View Matters.
- 1:31Hey, it's great to be with you.
- 1:33I've been enjoying listening to your episodes and your guests and very much appreciate you
- 1:37bringing the Christian world view into all different areas of culture, especially in
- 1:41this election season.
- 1:42Oh, my goodness.
- 1:43And Katie, as we talked briefly before we got on the podcast, it has been a battle.
- 1:49And it's a spiritual battle at its core.
- 1:51But even the battle in America with apathy and elections, people not understanding the
- 1:55God given right, we have that most countries around the world don't have that we can actually
- 2:02have a say in who represents us and what happens from the federal level, all the way down
- 2:07to the local level.
- 2:08So we're going to talk about that when we get to your book, Pro Child Politics.
- 2:12But I want to just go over to your website them before us.com.
- 2:16What's your story, Katie?
- 2:18How did you get involved with this and what happened in your life that maybe led you to
- 2:25found them before us?
- 2:27Go ahead.
- 2:28Yeah.
- 2:29Well, I was just a stay at home mom with four kids.
- 2:31My husband has been the pastor of our church here in Seattle for 14 years and just recently
- 2:36has transitioned to becoming a full-time Navy chaplain.
- 2:39So I was just buried in ministry and mom work and friendships and community building and
- 2:44praying and Bible reading and all of that until until the world came for the kids.
- 2:50And that's when I snapped because I'm pretty agreeable on that truth teller grace giver
- 2:54spectrum that all Christians fall on somewhere.
- 2:57I'm a grace giver.
- 2:58I don't like to lose my friends.
- 2:59I didn't want to get into the most contentious cultural topics that we are facing today except
- 3:05when you victimize children, I get angry.
- 3:07And unfortunately, there is very few ways that our culture is not victimizing children today.
- 3:13So I saw that the most acutely in the marriage and family debate around gay marriage.
- 3:18And then I very quickly realized that children are being victimized in every area of family
- 3:23not just the redefinition of marriage, but also reproductive technologies.
- 3:28How we think and talk about divorce, the rise of cohabitation, the pushing, the normalizing
- 3:32of polygamy and polyamory.
- 3:34And then it went beyond that, you know, now we're seeing children victimized not just
- 3:39in their life from abortion, but we're seeing them victimized in their lives via things
- 3:43like big fertility and IVF.
- 3:45It's victimizing children's innocence, their mind through radical innocence, violating
- 3:50sex ed curriculum and pornographic library books and drag queen story hour.
- 3:54It's victimizing their bodies by pushing so-called transgender treatments on gender-confused
- 3:59children that harms them for life in ways that we've really never seen in our species
- 4:06really since the pagan days.
- 4:08And so that is what pushed me to get into this space.
- 4:11It's somebody needs to formally advocate on behalf of children.
- 4:14So if I do my job well, David, that is what you're going to hear today.
- 4:18It is going to be an accurate representation of the rights, well-being and interests of
- 4:22children in every area that we discuss.
- 4:25Praise God.
- 4:26Thank you so much for getting off the bench and into the game, Katie.
- 4:29And thank you for the work that your voice, it's important because so many Christians
- 4:34are either apathetic, they're not paying attention.
- 4:36Oh, if it doesn't concern my child, because maybe they've been out of school and they've
- 4:40graduated, but they're not obviously concerned about their neighbor's children then, because
- 4:44of what's happening at the government schools, K through 12 universities.
- 4:47But let's go back to the sentence under about us on them before us.com.
- 4:53And I'm thinking, okay, back up and try to look at this from our grandparents perspective
- 4:57or our great grandparents.
- 4:59Them before us protects every child's right to their mother and father by educating
- 5:05lawmakers, media influencers and concerned citizens about the harm children's suffer when
- 5:11those rights are violated.
- 5:13So let's stop right there.
- 5:14One of those rights obviously is the transgender push, confusing them about who they are.
- 5:20They're not made in the image of God because there is no God, right?
- 5:22That's according to the left and the Marxists and those who want to get young children.
- 5:27And confuse them and maybe get them into the transgender lifestyle.
- 5:30So speak to that for a moment, because we're at a very dangerous time in history where
- 5:36there's so much propaganda and lies out there that are not being refuted.
- 5:41And that's probably one of the things that you're trying to do that I'm trying to do.
- 5:44But go ahead and speak to that for a moment, Katie.
- 5:46Well, simply, what we are doing at them before us is putting them the children before us,
- 5:51the adults.
- 5:52Most of our work has focused on marriage and family issues.
- 5:54But the reality is on all of the supposed culture war topics, they're actually not about
- 5:59the culture necessarily and they're certainly not primarily political issues.
- 6:04All of these can boil down to child protection.
- 6:06Are you protecting kids or are you victimizing them?
- 6:09And so that is the lens through which we look at all of these major issues, whether we're
- 6:13talking about the election year, whether talking about conversations around our dining room
- 6:17table, whether we're talking about, you know, posting on X, we think that all of these
- 6:22issues come down to, are you going to advance justice on behalf of the least of these?
- 6:27Are you going to victimize them because some adult wants something?
- 6:31And we think that that is a wholly unbiblical argument.
- 6:35We look at, you know, most of our work is from the perspective of natural law, social
- 6:40science.
- 6:41We catalog the stories of children, especially who have been impacted by family breakdown
- 6:44and mother or father loss, but this is a fundamentally Christian mission.
- 6:50Why is that?
- 6:51Because in our biblical corpus, what we see is the God of the universe, the very strongest
- 6:58of all coming down and sacrificing himself for the weakest among us.
- 7:02And then he tells us to go and do likewise.
- 7:04You will not find one biblical exhortation anywhere in the older New Testament telling you
- 7:08that the week should sacrifice for the strong.
- 7:11It is always the other way around.
- 7:13It is always the strong who sacrificed for the week.
- 7:16But in all of these cultural topics, we are doing the exact opposite.
- 7:19We are forcing children to sacrifice for adults and very often they are harmed for life
- 7:23as a result.
- 7:25Preach it.
- 7:26Thank you.
- 7:27I told you we've got a time, man.
- 7:29I told you anything.
- 7:30I won't bore you.
- 7:31Hey, usually I warn people at the top of the podcast, fast in your seat belts.
- 7:35But since this is your first time with us, Katie, I'm getting to know you and just praise
- 7:39God for your passion over at your website before we get to your book, Pro Child Politics.
- 7:45Then before us.com, you've got resources for churches, companies, fast facts.
- 7:50Tell us about the resources for churches because talk about an institution that has unfortunately
- 7:55not been engaged and not spoken out against the evils and the attacks on children.
- 8:01So tell us about the resources for churches.
- 8:03Well, the main focus of that is to take the core of our work, looking at every marriage
- 8:08and family issue through the lens of child protection.
- 8:11And that is the one resource we have that takes our natural law, social science, statistics,
- 8:16the stories and testimonies of children who have experienced mother and father loss and
- 8:19family breakdown and layers biblical truth throughout the entire thing.
- 8:23And what you are going to have when you walk away from this is seeing through these seven
- 8:27part videos that we, you know, furnish you with like leader guides and participant guides
- 8:33when you are going to walk away from this.
- 8:35You know what you're going to say about God's design for sex and marriage?
- 8:38You're not necessarily primarily going to say, oh, this is an object lesson of his relationship
- 8:43to the church.
- 8:44You're not first going to say, oh, this is a sacred institution.
- 8:47You are going to say God's design for sex and marriage is plan A for child protection.
- 8:53And should you Christian waiver, compromise, slide or simply prefer silence above speaking
- 9:00up on behalf of children in these critical areas?
- 9:03Just be very honest about what you're doing.
- 9:05You're preferring social acceptance over child protection.
- 9:08And people, participants, Christians specifically will walk away from doing this curriculum feeling
- 9:14so confident and joyous at God's design for the family because you will never get child
- 9:22thriving without it.
- 9:24It is plan A for advancing the well-being of children and every little jot or title that
- 9:30we choose to carve off, whether it's because we fail to be unclear or simply social cowardice.
- 9:37We're simply making kids pay the price for our unwillingness to speak clearly and boldly
- 9:41about what God has made and what he has ordained in relation to the family.
- 9:46So what we hope is that we will bring incredible clarity and confidence for people who are
- 9:51battling not just with God made Adam and Eve and he made them to get married.
- 9:56But how do I respond to the lesbians next door who are raising the seven-year-old sperm donor
- 10:00kid?
- 10:01What about my own marriage that is struggling?
- 10:03How do I deal with people that are dealing with infertility and considering using a surrogate?
- 10:08The answer to all of those questions are, put kids first.
- 10:12That's your first to duty.
- 10:13It is not necessarily to empathize with the adults who are struggling, which they very often
- 10:17are.
- 10:18Your job as the Christian is to ensure that you are advancing justice and protection for the
- 10:24least of these.
- 10:25It is and always has been a manifestation of our pure and undefiled religion before God.
- 10:32It just looks a little different than it did in the first century, but make no mistake.
- 10:36That is especially in areas of policy, the number one concern for every believer.
- 10:44Before we get to your book, I wanted to ask you about this current administration, the
- 10:49Harris Biden.
- 10:50I mean, the Biden Harris, where is Biden anyway?
- 10:53The current administration, who we know exactly where they stand on issues, all these important
- 10:59issues, life in the womb, but children, and there, I think, one of the only groups that
- 11:07supports these surgeries for minors, these transgender surgeries, for minors paid for by the
- 11:12U.S. taxpayer, but everyone else, the average American, I think it's well over 60-some percent.
- 11:18I think you might know the numbers better than me, are opposed to these hormones and
- 11:24these surgeries on children, except for this administration.
- 11:29When it comes to voting in the election coming up, at least from that standpoint, we know
- 11:34where they stand.
- 11:35Speak to that for a moment, please.
- 11:36Well, I think that when you're looking at the cultural issues, and we can spend some
- 11:41time talking about the economic issues, the immigration issues, the national security
- 11:44issues, because we do address those in pro-child politics.
- 11:46But when you look at, I would say, the four primary ways that children's rights and
- 11:52well-being are being victimized, life, family, mind, and body, I think the GOP has unfortunately
- 11:59lost some ground on protecting their life, and it's a shame, it's a crying shame, and
- 12:04we should hold them accountable.
- 12:06I think that they have slid in terms of children's right to their mother and father, but in terms
- 12:10of protecting children's mind, understanding that a lot of children are being victimized
- 12:14through being forced to go to schools, that a, are not necessarily elevating their genuine
- 12:19education, and instead are pursuing indoctrination, oftentimes innocence violating indoctrination,
- 12:25there is a clear choice between the two parties.
- 12:27In terms of victimizing children's bodies related to supposed transgender treatments that do
- 12:32not turn a boy into a girl, they turn a healthy boy into a lifelong consumer of pharmaceuticals
- 12:38and cosmetic surgeons.
- 12:40That's what they do.
- 12:41They turn a healthy child into a patient, a medical patient.
- 12:44In terms of that, we see a very clear divide between the GOP and the current administration.
- 12:49Unfortunately, when you look at children's life, family, mind, and body, the GOP has some
- 12:54work to do.
- 12:55Yes.
- 12:56When you look at children's life, family, mind, and body, what you see is the Democrats
- 13:00and the current administration specifically are the arc enemies of children.
- 13:05Yep.
- 13:06Exactly.
- 13:07Anti-biblical worldview, they are not against, they are against the God, male, and female,
- 13:13marriage, family, children.
- 13:16So let's see, we should take a break in a minute, but I want to give you an opportunity.
- 13:20I'm thinking you and your husband, one flesh, I can't imagine there being a lot of churches
- 13:25that are not woke in your area in Seattle.
- 13:29What's the name of your church, your husband's church, or God's church that your husband
- 13:32is pastoring?
- 13:33Yeah.
- 13:34She shared that for our audience and the website.
- 13:36Yeah, the church that we still attend, even though he's no longer the pastor, he is
- 13:40now out to see quite a bit serving as a full-time Navy chaplain, which is amazing, and I'm
- 13:45so grateful, and God is using him in a busy ways.
- 13:49We attend Grace Church in Seattle, in West Seattle area, and the new pastor that's taken over
- 13:54is a dear friend, and the church is absolutely thriving under his leadership when we're so
- 13:58grateful.
- 13:59Grace Church in Seattle, and by the way, boy, do we need some godly, bold leaders as chaplains
- 14:05in a messed up military?
- 14:07And I interview a lot of former veterans, and it's just amazing what's going on there,
- 14:12but that's for a whole other time.
- 14:14When we come back after our brief pause, we're going to talk with Katie about her book,
- 14:17Pro Child Politics.
- 14:19That's next.
- 14:20Today's show is brought to you by Harbinger's Daily, world news, biblically understood.
- 14:26Stay informed at harbingersdaily.com.
- 14:38Friends, because of you, our Rumble channel is growing praise God, where we're censored
- 14:44other places or shadow bands.
- 14:45Thank you guys so much for following us on Rumble, and also you can download the free app
- 14:51on your iPhone Freedom Project Media, Rumble iPhone.
- 14:56Katie Faust is our guest today, them before us.com.
- 15:01And the book, Pro Child Politics, it's brand new, why every cultural, economic, and national
- 15:09issue is a matter of justice for children.
- 15:12So Katie, you, according to the description here over on Amazon, you mobilized a collection
- 15:18of experts who apply their children before adults approach to the areas, their areas
- 15:25of expertise.
- 15:26I see praise God for Abby Johnson, Dr. Abby Johnson, she's on there talking about the issue
- 15:32of life.
- 15:33Just tell us about how this came to be, and I'm glad this is getting out before the election.
- 15:37Go ahead.
- 15:38Well, we have a little formula here at them before us, and it is put kids first.
- 15:44If you put kids first in matters of marriage and family, you get two things.
- 15:48Number one, you get child thriving.
- 15:50Number two, you get national thriving.
- 15:53When you put kids first, what you get is individual child protection.
- 15:57And then you also get good policy decisions.
- 15:59There is something about elevating the rights and well-being of the least of these, especially
- 16:04of the next generation that tends to lead to the right personal decisions and the right
- 16:08policy outcomes.
- 16:10So we do that on all matters of marriage and family at them before us.
- 16:15But I've long hypothesized, because, and I actually see that in the social space as well,
- 16:19when you're looking at the social issues, in terms of like social conservatism, you
- 16:24see that as well.
- 16:25When you put children's rights to an intact unmedicalized body at the forefront, you get
- 16:30the right personal decisions in terms of a child who's questioning their gender.
- 16:33But also, you ban trans-gender surgeries, state-actor, state-actor, state-actor, state.
- 16:39So we have wondered if you can actually do this on all major political issues.
- 16:44Maybe the other two legs of the conservative stool, not just the social conservatives,
- 16:48but the economic conservatives and the national security conservatives.
- 16:51And the crazy thing is, when you put them before us, you again get great policy as Molly
- 16:57Hemingway wrote, and the blurb at the beginning, is a funny thing happens when you elevate
- 17:01children before adults and all of these issues.
- 17:03You get conservatism, but not cold, faceless conservative.
- 17:07You get pure, pure distilled conservatism with the face of a child on it.
- 17:12And that's exactly what we've got here.
- 17:15So I conscripted these 19 subject matter experts on topics ranging from the environment to
- 17:21energy, to immigration, to ESG, DEI, education, pornography, masculinity, femininity.
- 17:27And I mean, these guys are top of the line, you know, Ken Harrison, the president of
- 17:32Promise Keepers, Rotor Masculinity Chapter, and Pichi Keenan, you know, of domestic extremist
- 17:38fame, Robert Femininity Chapter, and the head of the only conservative environmental
- 17:43organization, Chris Barnard wrote our environment chapter.
- 17:46I mean, like, it's just a star-studded cast, but I told them all, I need you to follow
- 17:51a specific formula.
- 17:52I want you to begin with the real-life story of a child who was harmed because we believed
- 17:57progressive lies.
- 17:59And then I want you to outline those progressive lies and then make the connection.
- 18:03How are kids damaged, destroyed, or victimized when we believe those lies?
- 18:08Then tell me the truth.
- 18:09The truth about education or immigration or pornography, then tell me what would happen
- 18:13if we believe those truths and how kids would be protected.
- 18:17And then show me who has done it.
- 18:19Don't just give me philosophy.
- 18:20I want you to tell me which governor or state or municipality has applied these truths
- 18:25and show me how children have been protected as a result.
- 18:28So it functions as absolutely an understanding of why every issue is ultimately connected
- 18:34to child well-being.
- 18:36But it also is a bit of a primer for those of us who maybe don't know a whole lot about
- 18:39energy policy or haven't thought a lot about policing to be like, actually, all of these
- 18:44things really do come down to, is it going to be me, am I going to put myself first or
- 18:48is it going to be kids?
- 18:49Are we going to prioritize them?
- 18:51Guys, you can get this right now at Amazon Pro-Child Politics.
- 18:57And I really encourage you to get a hold of this and maybe even share it.
- 19:02Katie, I want to jump to the ESGDI.
- 19:05I wrote a book earlier this year called The Assault on the Image of God.
- 19:10And one of the chapters was the Marxist cult of DEI.
- 19:15This is something that I think caught a lot of people off guard with regards to the education
- 19:20system and even corporations and this is just spread.
- 19:26Share with us a little bit what Justin Danhoff wrote about ESGDI and how from the perspective
- 19:32of putting children first.
- 19:36Well, you know, both in terms of the corporate world and in terms of entire governments
- 19:40and in terms of media and the media expression.
- 19:43What we see is ESG is actually the rot at the bottom of so many of the other symptoms
- 19:49that we are seeing in our world that are forcing things to crumble.
- 19:53He talks about how corporations like Disney on, you know, the shoulders of DEI initiatives
- 19:59are pushing some of the most child innocence, violating content, you know, overhauling
- 20:05their own, their concept of the social fabric through a lot of these ESGDI programming.
- 20:11He begins with the story of a child in Sri Lanka who used to be middle class, but because
- 20:17Sri Lanka has adopted the ESGDI mandate and has a perfect score.
- 20:23They have plunged their country into poverty and chaos.
- 20:28And he talks very clearly about how this shift in the corporate world away from shareholders
- 20:33to stakeholders has actually been a very powerful force to restitch the social fabric in a
- 20:39way that is distinctly much more Marxist than it is pro human and pro child.
- 20:45So I think that it's an incredible chapter because Justin's a great writer.
- 20:49He's also, you know, was there when Strive was founded and that's Vivek Ramaswamy's
- 20:54organization.
- 20:55He knows what he's talking about.
- 20:57And I just appreciate, you know, at the truth, at the very end where he's talking about
- 21:00the truth, he's like, kids do need ESG, but it's not environment of social governance.
- 21:05It's genuine equality.
- 21:07It is the security of being known and loved by their mother and father and is the governance
- 21:12of their parents.
- 21:14That's really the ESG that kids need.
- 21:16Well, it's interesting what you just described from the biblical worldview, taking care
- 21:21of the children, raising them up in that vein, what you just described.
- 21:24It's like this kind of probably is the thread through all of these, right, from what how
- 21:29God ordained it, the family to protect children.
- 21:34And every one of these, is there any other one you would like to share because we're down
- 21:38to about five minutes or so?
- 21:40What's one of your favorite or maybe one of the chapters that someone contributed that
- 21:43you said, wow, maybe you, it floored you.
- 21:47Go ahead.
- 21:48I'm going to narrow down, but I will tell you the one that I learned the most that I think
- 21:51also intersects with what is at the top of the list in terms of mindset pre-election
- 21:56is the immigration chapter.
- 21:58Laura Rees wrote the chapter on immigration.
- 22:00She has been doing immigration policy for close to 30 years.
- 22:02She works at the Heritage Foundation.
- 22:04I just did a panel at the heritage on this and she's just brilliant.
- 22:07And she makes it very clear that our current immigration policy, the policy of the Biden
- 22:13Harris administration has very, very far from being good for immigrants has actually victimized
- 22:19not just American children who live in this country now whose resources are being directed
- 22:24away from their critical first services or their educational budgets or whatever and
- 22:29towards unverified undocumented immigrants.
- 22:32It's not just bad for American kids.
- 22:34Our current immigration policy is horrible for immigrant kids.
- 22:38The kind of policies around the unaccompanied minor program has allowed for the victimization
- 22:44of hundreds of thousands of children just in the last couple months, it's come out that
- 22:48we have lost.
- 22:49Health and humans have lost 30,000 to who knows, 300,000 unaccompanied minors because honestly
- 22:57this current administration didn't want to have photo ops of the kids in cages.
- 23:01So instead, what they did is they handed the children to traffickers.
- 23:05Those 300,000 children that they don't know where they are, very likely are in underground
- 23:09brothels and sweatshops here in this country.
- 23:13It is absolute victimization of children in the current immigration policy and the truth
- 23:17is that we can look at almost all of these topics from debt to national security to policing
- 23:23to race and we see the lies that are coming like a fire hose, not just through our politicians
- 23:30but through media and through a lot of the main institutions that have been captured
- 23:34by progressivism, the lies harm kids, sometimes it takes their lives, sometimes it starves
- 23:40them of their families, sometimes it robs them of their innocence, a lot of times it just
- 23:44steals their resources and doesn't allow them the same opportunity that we have been able
- 23:49to have.
- 23:50It's an injustice and Christians especially have to stand against it.
- 23:54One thing that on the book page, it says these subjects addressed share one commonality
- 24:00when we believe lies children are victimized and that's a key point that you're getting
- 24:05across today and thank you because there's not a lot of focus when you talk about elections
- 24:12and when you talk about everything that's going politics, all these different topics,
- 24:15not a lot of focus is on the children and how it affects the children.
- 24:19Katie, we've got just about three minutes left, just whatever is on your heart to share
- 24:22to try to wake up, our audience for the most part are biblical Christians, they believe
- 24:28the whole council of God, Bible believing Christians, the world view issue is huge and
- 24:33we're seeing that play out.
- 24:34So speak to them for a moment, just to encourage them to maybe get off the bench and into
- 24:38the game.
- 24:39Well, I imagine a lot of your listeners are absolutely in the game and I'm so grateful.
- 24:45I, you know, we live in Seattle and so we are in a place that has been sifted, sifted
- 24:49in ways that maybe some of the other parts of the country have not.
- 24:52So I see a lot of courageous Christians, but what they need is they need better information.
- 24:56I see people that want to honor the Lord.
- 24:58I see people that love the word of God, but we right now are in a place in human history
- 25:04that really is unlike any other place that we've been as especially relates to children.
- 25:09We are seeing the death of Christendom, the death of so-called cultural Christianity.
- 25:15And do you know what happens when we no longer see Christ's principles, even if it's not
- 25:19the personal relationship, the principles of Christ ruling and reigning in this country?
- 25:23Kids are victimized.
- 25:25Do you understand that that is absolutely the no-go zone for Christians?
- 25:30And so I think a lot of what we need is to be very clear about what child defense looks
- 25:35like in our modern day and age.
- 25:37It absolutely looks like caring for the least of these in our own personal lives, but it
- 25:42also looks like being a voice for them on behalf of the political, on the policy scale.
- 25:48It's not just what's happening in the culture.
- 25:50It's what's happening in the courtroom.
- 25:51And you, Christian, obviously, will empathize with friends that are struggling in these areas,
- 25:57but no amount of adult longing, loss, suffering, struggle, justifies victimizing kids.
- 26:02You primarily have got to be an advocate for the least of these.
- 26:06And when we fail to do so, we're in millstone around our neck territory, people.
- 26:11So this is a non-negotiable for Christians.
- 26:14We at them for us strive to help you know exactly what to say and how to say, especially
- 26:19in matters of marriage and family, pro-child politics is going to help you look at political
- 26:22issues through the lens of putting kids first, but Christians, this is the battle.
- 26:27And the amazing thing is when you secure justice for the least of these, you get social justice
- 26:33as well.
- 26:34When you protect individual children, you will protect the nation.
- 26:38When we, the adults, do hard things on behalf of children, which is what is required, we
- 26:44are going to get everything that we are longing for in terms of national thriving.
- 26:50When we do the hard things, meaning sacrificing for the children, everything else seems to
- 26:57fall into place.
- 26:58And national thriving is my goodness.
- 27:00We need so much help in this country, but that's a good focus.
- 27:04I think that's great.
- 27:05And you're on to something Katie Faust.
- 27:07And I want to direct people to them before us.com and the book again, pro-child politics.
