HOST A: Dave, a homeowner is sweating through August, the house never feels right, and a salesman tells him the fix is a bigger air conditioner. More tons, more power, problem solved. That is logical, isn't it? HOST B: It is logical and it is wrong, and it is probably the single most expensive mistake I see sold in this business. A bigger air conditioner does not cool a house better. In Oklahoma it usually cools it worse.
