- 0:04Speaker 1: All right here she is Pauline Hansen.
- 0:06Speaker 2: So a lot of polls that have been out Brooklyn,
- 0:08Speaker 2: and she's now the preferred prime minister.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Yes, finally overtook Anthony Albanzi as Australia's preferred prime minister,
- 0:16Speaker 3: which is just incredible the journey that Pauline's had.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Yeah, a lot of people congratulating her on that.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she's joining us live on air on Kiss
- 0:24Speaker 2: right now. Pauline, good morning, and look it has been
- 0:27Speaker 2: thirty years that you've been around, you're now in this position.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Do you feel vindicated?
- 0:34Speaker 5: Heah, good morning guys. Lovely to be on your show.
- 0:36Speaker 5: Thanks for having me on. Do I feel vindicated? Well,
- 0:40Speaker 5: thirty years since I was elected to parliament nineteen ninety six,
- 0:43Speaker 5: but I was out of politics for eighteen of those
- 0:46Speaker 5: years and out of my party for thirteen of those years.
- 0:49Speaker 5: So anyway, coming back really in two thy sixteen elected
- 0:53Speaker 5: to Game to the Senate, it's been a lot of work.
- 0:56Speaker 5: I've got to rebuild the party. I've got people like
- 0:59Speaker 5: to parliament. I've stood my ground on these issues that
- 1:02Speaker 5: I were talking about that I was talking about in
- 1:05Speaker 5: nineteen ninety six, so I haven't backed away from my principles.
- 1:08Speaker 5: My value is what I want to do for the country,
- 1:10Speaker 5: and I think the country now has caught up with me.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Any just on that, Is there anything over the thirty
- 1:15Speaker 2: years that you regret saying or standing for? Over your time,
- 1:20Speaker 2: have you adjusted your view on anything?
- 1:23Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:23Speaker 5: Look, I haven't really, because I tell you what you can't.
- 1:27Speaker 5: You can't hold regrets in your life because you've got
- 1:30Speaker 5: to move forward. You can't change what's happened in the past.
- 1:32Speaker 5: You've got to realize if you've made any mistakes, and
- 1:35Speaker 5: you learn from that. And I think that's what I've
- 1:37Speaker 5: done over the years. I've learned and I've grown. As
- 1:40Speaker 5: you get older, you get to more knowledge, understanding wisdom,
- 1:44Speaker 5: and you know, it's been a wonderful experience for me.
- 1:49Speaker 5: I've gone from this woman who owned my fish and
- 1:51Speaker 5: chip shops straight into the federal state. You know, it's
- 1:55Speaker 5: just thrown on to the other spotlight. And I really
- 2:00Speaker 5: I was hopeless of talking to put my point across
- 2:03Speaker 5: and to deal with the media and the questions said
- 2:06Speaker 5: was throwing at me. So this all has changed over
- 2:09Speaker 5: the years.
- 2:10Speaker 2: But people do your pullinge like with the speaking were
- 2:14Speaker 2: you when you first came in National Spotlight straight away. Right,
- 2:18Speaker 2: So did you get some media training or how have
- 2:20Speaker 2: you become more confident with speaking over the time?
- 2:22Speaker 5: Then No, I didn't. It's just with anything, any job
- 2:25Speaker 5: that you have. I'm sure that the first time, correct,
- 2:28Speaker 5: I'm sure the first time you went before your mic
- 2:31Speaker 5: that your niece for shaking. That was me when I
- 2:34Speaker 5: did my maiden speech. God, I was scared of anything.
- 2:37Speaker 5: My knees for shaping. I did you have to push through?
- 2:40Speaker 6: I did my first day on weekday breaking about two
- 2:43Speaker 6: weeks ago, and my heart was beating so.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Fast I thought I was going to have a heart attack.
- 2:46Speaker 6: On Yeah, and now I feel super comfortable, So I
- 2:50Speaker 6: do get it. Hey, Pauline, if you were, let's say
- 2:53Speaker 6: hypothetically you were running the country right now and it's
- 2:56Speaker 6: day one, what are you doing in your new role
- 2:59Speaker 6: as Prime minister?
- 3:02Speaker 5: I think first first thing to get this country back
- 3:04Speaker 5: in the water is cut the migration. That we have
- 3:07Speaker 5: cut it back to bet one hundred and thirty thousand
- 3:09Speaker 5: a year. Now, that's even higher than what Hawk had
- 3:14Speaker 5: it about eighty nine thousand, and how it had it
- 3:16Speaker 5: at one hundred and twelve thousand a year. So we've
- 3:19Speaker 5: surpassed our numbers in the country already, which we were
- 3:24Speaker 5: supposed to reach by twenty fifty or so. We're already
- 3:26Speaker 5: past that. So you've got to cut migration back because
- 3:29Speaker 5: that is affecting the housing supply that we have. We're
- 3:32Speaker 5: bringing too many people in three hundred and seventy five
- 3:35Speaker 5: a day on average. One day it was eighteen hundred.
- 3:39Speaker 5: But that's only on average.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Pull lead.
- 3:41Speaker 3: So sorry, interrupted if the migrants that are here at
- 3:44Speaker 3: the moment, because since COVID, migration numbers did jump way
- 3:48Speaker 3: up to account for no one coming here during COVID,
- 3:51Speaker 3: so there's a lot more. Are you comfortable with the
- 3:54Speaker 3: people who are here? Or would you do a Donald
- 3:57Speaker 3: Trump and try to, you know, get people out.
- 4:01Speaker 5: You know, the migrants that have given permanent residency, they're
- 4:05Speaker 5: here to stay. They are given the right to stay
- 4:07Speaker 5: here in the country. What you're talking about is see
- 4:10Speaker 5: the people that are legally in the country, though they
- 4:13Speaker 5: ever say their visas. Those people you've been giving you know,
- 4:19Speaker 5: you've been told you are no longer in this shouldn't
- 4:22Speaker 5: be here in the country. Those people have to be
- 4:24Speaker 5: processed and they must be supported down the country. So
- 4:28Speaker 5: we do have a lot of people there here, over
- 4:30Speaker 5: one hundred thousand, one hundred and seven thousand that are
- 4:33Speaker 5: in the country illegally.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Okay, So you know people have accused you over the
- 4:36Speaker 2: years of being racist, but you're not saying certain people
- 4:40Speaker 2: can't come here to Australia. You just want to cut
- 4:43Speaker 2: the overall intake. You're not going to pick on the
- 4:46Speaker 2: race of people or anything.
- 4:48Speaker 5: It's not about picking a certain race of people, people
- 4:51Speaker 5: that are not compatible for our culture or way of life.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Now I'll turn up front people from from radical Islamic
- 4:57Speaker 5: countries or you know, we're going to wear the birk. Sorry,
- 5:00Speaker 5: I don't want them in the country that's not compatible
- 5:03Speaker 5: with our cultural way of life from those countries. No,
- 5:08Speaker 5: I don't know. Understand there's difference. You have people from
- 5:12Speaker 5: Muslim countries as you have with Asia and Indoneers in
- 5:15Speaker 5: these countries I'm talking radical Islamic Middle Eastern countries. There's
- 5:20Speaker 5: a hell of a.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Difference which countries the radical You've got.
- 5:26Speaker 5: To assess the people from where you where they're coming from.
- 5:29Speaker 5: That will be assessed by the departments at that time.
- 5:32Speaker 5: But you don't bring people that are not compatible. Do
- 5:35Speaker 5: you want people in this country who are you know
- 5:38Speaker 5: who have no regard for women to treat them the
- 5:42Speaker 5: way that they do, you know, even gays that you
- 5:45Speaker 5: know they can't send gays. Do we want the hate
- 5:48Speaker 5: preachers on our streets preaching the hate?
- 5:51Speaker 3: No?
- 5:51Speaker 5: I don't, are.
- 5:53Speaker 4: You because I know you are against gay marriage at
- 5:56Speaker 4: one point?
- 5:57Speaker 5: Yeah, but there's a difference, you know. I don't get
- 6:00Speaker 5: against gay marriage confused with a person who's gay. Everyone
- 6:04Speaker 5: has a right to live their life and happiness and
- 6:08Speaker 5: peace right. What they do is their business. It's got
- 6:11Speaker 5: nothing to.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Do with me.
- 6:12Speaker 5: Do I believe in the gay marriage? I like most
- 6:15Speaker 5: other people? Well a lot, No, not most, but a
- 6:19Speaker 5: lot of people, you know, don't agree with gay marriage.
- 6:22Speaker 5: I even know people that are close to me who
- 6:24Speaker 5: are gays who don't believe in gay marriage as well.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Yeah, my mum was not against was it against me
- 6:31Speaker 3: being gay to start with?
- 6:33Speaker 4: You know, it was a whole thing. She eventually came around. Pauline.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I mean, I am now married to a man and
- 6:38Speaker 3: we've had gay marriage for ten years or something.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Would you you're not going to take that away, of course, I'm.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Not going to take it away from what would I
- 6:46Speaker 5: that's a lot of rubbish to actually even talk about that.
- 6:49Speaker 5: You know, it's not my job to tell you how
- 6:52Speaker 5: to live your life, what you do. The people made
- 6:55Speaker 5: their choice. The people made the decision, so.
- 6:59Speaker 4: They're not happy with the hearing you say that on that.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Pauline, what about your life?
- 7:03Speaker 5: You are my staff? That a gay, so correct it
- 7:07Speaker 5: and we have a fantastic, you know, work relationship with
- 7:11Speaker 5: them and fantastic We're.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Going to take calls.
- 7:15Speaker 2: So if you want to ask Pauline Hanson anything thirteen
- 7:18Speaker 2: one oh sixty five, what about your love life though
- 7:20Speaker 2: you're seeing anyone, there is.
- 7:23Speaker 5: No I'm too busy with my work trying to pull
- 7:25Speaker 5: this country back together Australia.
- 7:28Speaker 1: But you'd never say never you're open to getting married again?
- 7:31Speaker 5: No, thank you?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Yeah, she's done that twice.
- 7:35Speaker 2: We're going straight to Joe. What's your question for Pauline?
- 7:40Speaker 5: Wonderful job. I was just wondering, I'm a Melbourne girl.
- 7:44Speaker 5: How are you going to deal with youth justice and
- 7:47Speaker 5: climb in Melbourne?
- 7:48Speaker 1: It's quite out of control, isn't it.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Yeah, well that's what I'm hearing. I think you're terrible
- 7:54Speaker 5: mess down there and that's where you state government. This
- 7:57Speaker 5: is a state government, is not a federal I am
- 7:58Speaker 5: a federal Member of Parlam, but we do want to
- 8:00Speaker 5: get members elected to Estate Parliament. The police force needs
- 8:04Speaker 5: to be increased and you need to look at the
- 8:06Speaker 5: sentences handed by the judges. But with a lot of
- 8:08Speaker 5: these kids have problems and they need that assistance to
- 8:12Speaker 5: help as well. So what we've got in Queensenance called
- 8:16Speaker 5: the hard YAKA. This is where troubled kids or kids
- 8:20Speaker 5: who actually have been involved in crime go to this.
- 8:23Speaker 5: It's like a military boot camp. They've had a ninety
- 8:26Speaker 5: seven percent success rate with it, and that's where I
- 8:29Speaker 5: think kids need to go and do something like this
- 8:31Speaker 5: rather than be putting detention centers, which is not working.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yeah right, so I've seen those like TV shows, but
- 8:37Speaker 2: they put like troubled youth into a boot camp kind
- 8:40Speaker 2: of thing.
- 8:41Speaker 1: It working really hard.
- 8:42Speaker 2: It's that kind of thing, pulline, Yeah it is.
- 8:45Speaker 5: It works. It works them hard, but teaches them self
- 8:47Speaker 5: respect and self discipline as well. So it's not working
- 8:50Speaker 5: what we are doing. And your gangs that are down there,
- 8:53Speaker 5: see there's no control, no one has any authority. Police
- 8:57Speaker 5: are sick and tired doing their job railling up and
- 8:59Speaker 5: taking me. They get slept on the rest, by the
- 9:02Speaker 5: by the judges, and nothing happens. There has been more authority,
- 9:06Speaker 5: and I'd like to be dealt with in the educational system,
- 9:09Speaker 5: teaching and discipline, in the classrooms and following life. They've
- 9:13Speaker 5: got to have self respect for themselves before they'll actually
- 9:16Speaker 5: have self respect for anyone else.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Should we bring back the cane?
- 9:22Speaker 5: Well, I'll tell you what. When I went to school,
- 9:25Speaker 5: my brother's got the cane. I never did. And if
- 9:27Speaker 5: you talk to the older generation, they all say, well,
- 9:30Speaker 5: it never hurt us. That's taught us to be in
- 9:32Speaker 5: fear and disferent. But what they do with us as girls,
- 9:36Speaker 5: if we actually did pay up in classroom tonight, that
- 9:39Speaker 5: we had to stand outside the classroom, and if the
- 9:42Speaker 5: principle came past and saw you send you in real trouble,
- 9:45Speaker 5: all we had to stay in lunchtime and in detention.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So I don't even know if they do different ways.
- 9:52Speaker 5: No, they don't.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Ye won't even have detention.
- 9:55Speaker 1: It's mental.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Amanda's on your question for Pauline Hanson, go for an Amanda.
- 10:00Speaker 5: Hi, how are you hi? Ho? Hell? Amanda? Oh Hi?
- 10:05Speaker 7: So I was just wondering you kind of contradicted yourself
- 10:08Speaker 7: before with what you were saying about migrants coming to
- 10:11Speaker 7: this country.
- 10:13Speaker 4: So you don't want.
- 10:15Speaker 7: To let Islamic migrants into the country.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Why is that?
- 10:21Speaker 5: Well, I think the problem that we have now is
- 10:23Speaker 5: we've got terrorist attacks that have happened in Australia. Five
- 10:26Speaker 5: lives have been lost us or so what happened on
- 10:29Speaker 5: Die Beach. Radical Islam is getting it sold in Australia.
- 10:33Speaker 5: You've got eighteen thousand people under Asia watch List and
- 10:39Speaker 5: those really radical ones about two hundred and twenty. So
- 10:42Speaker 5: this is not the country that I want and we
- 10:45Speaker 5: cannot just on the streets.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Yeah, Amanda, Yeah, you've got a question.
- 10:49Speaker 5: Go on, I have a question.
- 10:51Speaker 7: So earlier you were saying that you agree with people
- 10:56Speaker 7: choosing their own lifestyles and whatnot, you know, referring to gays,
- 11:00Speaker 7: You're happy for them to choose the way they want
- 11:02Speaker 7: to live their life.
- 11:03Speaker 4: You are against the.
- 11:04Speaker 7: Burker, but isn't that the person's choice if they want
- 11:06Speaker 7: to wear the burker, does that make them radical Islamics
- 11:09Speaker 7: if they were a.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Build No, it's not a lot of these Islamic countries
- 11:13Speaker 5: as well, A vanned the burker twenty four countries around
- 11:15Speaker 5: the world because people don't assimilate into that society, so
- 11:19Speaker 5: it restricts people. Why should people be allowed to wear
- 11:23Speaker 5: a burker into a bank or any other government building,
- 11:25Speaker 5: but if you were a helmet, you can't, So it's
- 11:29Speaker 5: defining people by what they were. In Australia, the burker. No,
- 11:34Speaker 5: I'm sorry, I'd banned the burker and it's not a
- 11:37Speaker 5: simulation into a country people to interact with other people.
- 11:41Speaker 5: It's not a culture. So look at other countries where
- 11:44Speaker 5: they've had Islamic countries and they've banned the burker and
- 11:48Speaker 5: it's worked far better for their countries.
- 11:50Speaker 1: What about a balloch plava? Can I wear that?
- 11:54Speaker 5: Well, it's full social covering, full social covering, so of
- 12:00Speaker 5: course you're not going to get around with it. And
- 12:02Speaker 5: even these gutless wonders throughout their protesting, what do they
- 12:05Speaker 5: do cover up their faces? They haven't society up the standard,
- 12:08Speaker 5: correct the mask, all the rest that they haven't got
- 12:10Speaker 5: the guts to actually go out there and stand up
- 12:12Speaker 5: for what they believe in. They hide their faces and
- 12:15Speaker 5: they go out there and protest. And all of these
- 12:16Speaker 5: are paid protests in half the time, they wouldn't have
- 12:19Speaker 5: a bloody clue what they're protesting about.
- 12:22Speaker 2: All right, one more question here the owner you're on with,
- 12:25Speaker 2: Pauline Handsome.
- 12:26Speaker 5: Go for it, Hi, Pauline. My question is about the NDIS.
- 12:31Speaker 5: My son is twelve years old, Level one autism and
- 12:35Speaker 5: he's currently on the NDIS, just because I just want
- 12:40Speaker 5: to know where you stand on that, right fear. My
- 12:47Speaker 5: fear is that he's going to get kicked off the
- 12:49Speaker 5: NDS because he's only they see him as a level one.
- 12:54Speaker 1: YEP.
- 12:55Speaker 5: In NDIS, it's actually gone completely out of proportion. It
- 12:59Speaker 5: was supposed to only be for about four hundred thousand people.
- 13:02Speaker 5: It's now approaching eight hundred thousand, a cost of fifty
- 13:04Speaker 5: two billion a year, and if we keep going the
- 13:06Speaker 5: way of going, it's going to be over one hundred
- 13:08Speaker 5: billion a year by twenty thirty two. It is unsustainable.
- 13:11Speaker 5: It will fall over collapse. So it's supposed to be
- 13:14Speaker 5: for people with severe disabilities NDAs. The people like your
- 13:18Speaker 5: son is not going to lose out. They're moving them
- 13:21Speaker 5: across to thriving kids. The ones that are on it now,
- 13:24Speaker 5: like your son is not going to lose that. They will,
- 13:27Speaker 5: but anyone comes on to NDIS will go to thriving kids,
- 13:30Speaker 5: so you will should have that care and attention. The
- 13:33Speaker 5: states have forgone their responsibilities to people who with their
- 13:37Speaker 5: children with issues like this. We haven't dropped the ball
- 13:40Speaker 5: on this. So unless we turn it around, I'm telling you,
- 13:43Speaker 5: no one will get the services. And it's not children
- 13:46Speaker 5: or people who need care and attention. It's the scammers,
- 13:50Speaker 5: the ruts, the people ripping off the system. And there
- 13:53Speaker 5: was a couple that caught for ninety million dollars scamming.
- 13:56Speaker 5: I blame the governments for this. They knew going on,
- 13:59Speaker 5: yea one couple. They did nothing about it. They knew
- 14:03Speaker 5: this was going on. So the government's both the coalition
- 14:06Speaker 5: and the labor Buddy and I worked with Bill shortened
- 14:09Speaker 5: try and rain in the scam sporting that's going on.
- 14:12Speaker 5: It can be changed, we can make a difference, but
- 14:15Speaker 5: we've got to make sure we go ahead and do it.
- 14:17Speaker 5: I don't want to kick people who need the healthcare
- 14:20Speaker 5: and that assistance, but by god, get these SAMs. This
- 14:24Speaker 5: one field collecting one hundred and ninety five dollars now
- 14:27Speaker 5: and it's been in the private sector. Don't only get
- 14:30Speaker 5: paid between eighteen and one hundred and twenty dollars out.
- 14:32Speaker 5: It's out of control.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Right there we go. I hope I answered that. You
- 14:35Speaker 1: going to Polleen Hanson. Thank you. We'll have to get
- 14:38Speaker 1: your back on cass. You've got two years to go
- 14:39Speaker 1: and let's see if you can. Finally, it's a long yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 5: Thanks guys, all.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Star, appreciate your time.
- 14:47Speaker 2: All right, there you go, your question answered, but hands
- 14:50Speaker 2: and now tomorrow Million Dollar Pop Quiz got a chance
- 14:53Speaker 2: at seven and eight you can puck off to Vancouver,
- 14:56Speaker 2: sending you off campus with flights, accommodation and spending money.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Plus you can party.
- 15:00Speaker 2: At all the real TV show locations.
- 15:03Speaker 3: So John Edward, the psychic medium is in the country
- 15:07Speaker 3: right now.
- 15:08Speaker 4: He is coming in here live.
- 15:10Speaker 3: In the studio.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Normally he's on zoom that he's going to be in
- 15:12Speaker 4: the building. So so excited to get ready.
- 15:15Speaker 2: And we've got your State of Origin game two tickets
- 15:19Speaker 2: for tomorrow night's game, so a big one.
