- 0:01Federal judge has released a suicide note purportedly written
- 0:06by Jeffrey Epstein that was sealed for years as part of the
- 0:12criminal case of his cellmate. Quote.
- 0:14They investigated me for month. I think it probably should be
- 0:18months. Found nothing.
- 0:20All caps exclamation points. The note begins, adding that the
- 0:23result was charges going back many years.
- 0:26It is a treat to be able to choose one's time to say
- 0:29goodbye, the note continued. What you want me to do, bust out
- 0:34crying? The note reads.
- 0:36No fun in all caps. It concludes with those words
- 0:40underlined. Not worth it.
- 0:42Mr. Epstein. Cellmate.
- 0:44Cellmate. Excuse me, Nicholas Tartaglione.
- 0:47They say that right? Danny Bibbity.
- 0:50Bobbity. Tarte de Leone.
- 0:52Yeah, that's much better. Tarte, Leone.
- 0:55Use your hand when you do it, your hand up like you're saying,
- 0:58manja and you find. A thrown some some parsley on
- 1:00something. Tarte, Leone.
- 1:02Wow, that's actually quite good. Bravo Sir.
- 1:04I must tell you that is much better than I can do.
- 1:06So Nick said he was discovered said he discovered the note on
- 1:10July of 2019, after Mr. Epstein was found unresponsive with a
- 1:14strip of cloth wrapped around his neck.
- 1:17Mr. Epstein survived that incident, but he was found dead
- 1:20weeks later at the age of 66 in the now shuttered Metropolitan
- 1:24Correction Center in lower Manhattan.
- 1:27The note was made public on Wednesday by Judge Kenneth M
- 1:30Karis of federal District Court in White Plains, NY, who oversaw
- 1:35the cellmates case. The judge acted after The New
- 1:38York Times petitioned the court last Thursday to unseal the
- 1:42document and published an article in which Mr. Say it
- 1:47again Danny Tarte Leone Tarte Leone Tarte Leone Pizza and
- 1:53Pasta described the note and how it came into his possession.
- 1:58The Times has not authenticated its note, which was placed on
- 2:02the court docket Wednesday evening.
- 2:03The note repeats a saying, Bust out crying, that Mister Epstein
- 2:07wrote in emails. It included another phrase, no
- 2:11fun, that Mister Epstein also used in emails, as well as in a
- 2:14separate note found in his jail cell at the time of his death.
- 2:17The document unsealed on Wednesday remained hidden from
- 2:21public view even as the Justice Department released millions of
- 2:24pages of documents related to Mr. Epstein in a move required
- 2:28by a new law. I wonder, by the way, if I'm
- 2:31ever the subject of a criminal probe, will there be millions of
- 2:35documents about me, Millions of documents about Jason Taylor or
- 2:39Danny Martinetti or Mr. Teglo, we're all in.
- 2:43But you said you're in the Epstein files anyway.
- 2:46Yes, that's. True A Jason Taylor's in there
- 2:48as well. There must be a Jason Taylor
- 2:50somewhere in there, right? Did I?
- 2:52Did I do that? Did I?
- 2:53Did I look you up? Did I find one?
- 2:55Did I find I? Don't think you found Jason.
- 2:56I think you found me, but you were definitely in.
- 2:58I did not. Find you, Did I?
- 2:59How could possibly there be a Danny Martinetti?
- 3:02That how I mean, me, it was actually me, right?
- 3:05But like, you know, there's no other Danny Martinetti out
- 3:07there, is there? Bippity.
- 3:08Boppity. A lot of Martinetti's in Boston.
- 3:11Why? Yeah, why?
- 3:12It's it's an Irish town that's not an Italian town.
- 3:15What's what's well is there? Why is there so many?
- 3:17They. They Italian North End.
- 3:18Yeah, they have a they have a well, I mean, Danny went last
- 3:21year to the Italian. What was your culture
- 3:24Appreciation Day? Yeah, the Italian festival.
- 3:26Well. That's here, that's in Portland.
- 3:28There's definitely an an Italian group in Portland.
- 3:30No, but I'm talking about the Boston Red Sox having Italian.
- 3:33Oh, the Boston Red Sox. Yeah, I'm actually going to that
- 3:34next month. They have an Italian night.
- 3:36Yeah, do. They serve spaghetti.
- 3:38Or actually, they give you some nice jersey.
- 3:41And then the last one I had was Italia, and it had like the Red
- 3:44Sox logo on the back. This year, I think they've given
- 3:46you a scarf, another jersey as well.
- 3:48A scarf. But yeah, the North End of
- 3:50Boston, yeah, is known for that. All those restaurants and that.
- 3:52Yeah, I suppose you're right. Obviously Irish.
- 3:54We all know that. Right.
- 3:56That that's the most obvious thing ever, but it's that's
- 3:58fairpoint. It's fairpoint.
- 3:59There's there's little pockets of immigrant groups and pretty
- 4:02much every American so. I just came to mind, just visual
- 4:05of, you know, Danny saying use your arm when you're going to
- 4:08talk Italian, right? You just said that.
- 4:09Yeah, well, when they made all these Godfather movies that they
- 4:12all say to each other, use your arms and do that before you
- 4:15start talking. Well, yeah, what's if you want
- 4:17to, if you want to impersonate Marlon Brando from The
- 4:21Godfather, like, what do you do? Right?
- 4:22You obviously talk like you have marbles in your mouth, but you
- 4:25also, I don't know. I don't know.
- 4:26I do this right. I'll put my hand on my chin.
- 4:29I'll do. One of these, you're going to go
- 4:31look at this. That's not bad.
- 4:32I'll do a favor on this, the day of my daughter's wedding.
- 4:35It's good, you know. You know, it's, it's you got to
- 4:37do some movement of the hands. It's good.
- 4:39You got to you got to you got to have some motion.
- 4:41That is an Italian thing and that's also a French thing, by
- 4:43the way, the talking with hands thing.
- 4:44That's a very That is a very easy tell.
- 4:47But that's a Trump thing too. American.
- 4:49That's a Trump thing too. But oh, each side like that.
- 4:52He does do a lot of hand waving, Yeah.
- 4:55And he, you know, but you know what he does though, he does
- 4:56like hand gestures, like the a OK sign, like, you know what
- 5:00he'll do? He'll like, he'll kind of like
- 5:01almost close his eyes or he'll he'll squint a little bit and
- 5:05he'll raise his hands while doing a a hand gesture on each.
- 5:09Like everyone agrees, we're going to bomb Iran.
- 5:12It's going to be the best. You know he's he's doing.
- 5:14This that's. Going to be the best.
- 5:17Everyone agrees they're going back to the Stone Age.
- 5:19Best ever. Best ever reopening the Strait
- 5:21of Hormuz. No, we're not.
- 5:22Just kidding. Yeah.
- 5:24All right. Well, anyway, now that I've done
- 5:26my Italian depression, now there's apparently a suicide
- 5:28note released to the public. And I'm sure that won't spark
- 5:30any conspiracy theories related to Mr. Epstein.
- 5:33I'm sure the fact that this just emerged 7 years later and is so
- 5:40odd and weird, I'm sure that won't.
- 5:42That's not going to do anything, right?
