• 0:37
  Thought
• 0:37
  I
• 0:38
  would
• 0:38
  start
• 0:38
  today
• 0:38
  with
• 0:38
  a
• 0:38
  listener
• 0:39
  question.
• 0:39
  And
• 0:40
  this
• 0:40
  one
• 0:40
  really
• 0:40
  tugged
• 0:41
  at
• 0:41
  my
• 0:41
  emotions
• 0:41
  this
• 0:41
  morning.
• 0:42
  It
• 0:43
  says
• 0:43
  this
• 0:43
  as
• 0:43
  Ralph,
• 0:44
  my
• 0:44
  savings
• 0:45
  never
• 0:45
  feel
• 0:45
  like
• 0:45
  enough.
• 0:46
  How
• 0:47
  do
• 0:47
  I
• 0:47
  stop
• 0:47
  worrying
• 0:48
  and
• 0:48
  trust
• 0:48
  God's
• 0:49
  provision?
• 0:50
  And
• 0:50
  you
• 0:50
  know,
• 0:51
  when
• 0:51
  I
• 0:51
  got
• 0:51
  that
• 0:51
  question,
• 0:52
  I
• 0:53
  put
• 0:53
  myself
• 0:53
  in
• 0:53
  that
• 0:54
  same
• 0:54
  position
• 0:54
  because
• 0:54
  I've
• 0:55
  been
• 0:55
  there,
• 0:56
  there
• 0:56
  have
• 0:56
  been
• 0:56
  times
• 0:56
  in
• 0:57
  my
• 0:57
  life
• 0:57
  when
• 0:57
  trying
• 0:57
  to
• 0:58
  save
• 0:58
  money
• 0:58
  just
• 0:58
  felt
• 0:58
  like
• 0:59
  I
• 0:59
  wasn't
• 0:59
  getting
• 1:00
  anywhere.
• 1:01
  And
• 1:01
  you
• 1:01
  live
• 1:02
  in
• 1:02
  this
• 1:02
  constant
• 1:03
  state
• 1:03
  of
• 1:03
  worry.
• 1:04
  You
• 1:04
  live
• 1:04
  in
• 1:04
  this
• 1:05
  constant
• 1:05
  state
• 1:05
  of
• 1:05
  anxiety.
• 1:06
  What
• 1:06
  if
• 1:06
  the
• 1:06
  car
• 1:06
  breaks
• 1:06
  down?
• 1:07
  What
• 1:07
  if
• 1:08
  one
• 1:08
  of
• 1:08
  the
• 1:08
  children
• 1:08
  need
• 1:09
  a
• 1:09
  medical
• 1:09
  issue
• 1:10
  or
• 1:10
  something
• 1:10
  like
• 1:10
  that?
• 1:10
  Or
• 1:10
  I
• 1:11
  got
• 1:11
  to
• 1:11
  go
• 1:11
  to
• 1:11
  the
• 1:11
  dentist.
• 1:12
  Dentists
• 1:13
  are
• 1:13
  expensive.
• 1:14
  And
• 1:14
  you
• 1:15
  have
• 1:15
  this
• 1:15
  true
• 1:16
  fear
• 1:16
  of
• 1:16
  the
• 1:16
  future.
• 1:16
  And
• 1:17
  listen,
• 1:17
  I
• 1:17
  get
• 1:17
  it,
• 1:18
  but
• 1:19
  I
• 1:19
  love
• 1:19
  what
• 1:19
  you
• 1:19
  ended
• 1:20
  your
• 1:20
  question
• 1:20
  with.
• 1:21
  And
• 1:21
  trust
• 1:22
  in
• 1:22
  God's
• 1:22
  provision
• 1:23
  because
• 1:23
  that's
• 1:23
  really
• 1:23
  the
• 1:24
  key
• 1:24
  to
• 1:24
  all
• 1:24
  of
• 1:24
  this.
• 1:24
  And
• 1:25
  we
• 1:25
  did
• 1:25
  some
• 1:25
  research
• 1:26
  talking
• 1:26
  about
• 1:27
  savings
• 1:27
  and
• 1:27
  Pew
• 1:28
  research
• 1:28
  shows
• 1:28
  that.
• 1:29
  And
• 1:29
  when
• 1:29
  I
• 1:29
  saw
• 1:30
  this,
• 1:31
  it
• 1:31
  kind
• 1:31
  of
• 1:31
  broke
• 1:31
  my
• 1:31
  heart
• 1:32
  because
• 1:32
  56%
• 1:33
  of
• 1:33
  Americans,
• 1:34
  56%
• 1:36
  have
• 1:36
  less
• 1:37
  than
• 1:37
  $1,000
• 1:38
  in
• 1:38
  savings.
• 1:40
  And
• 1:40
  I
• 1:40
  thought
• 1:40
  to
• 1:40
  myself,
• 1:41
  that's
• 1:42
  more
• 1:42
  than
• 1:42
  half
• 1:43
  have
• 1:43
  less
• 1:44
  than
• 1:44
  $1,000
• 1:45
  in
• 1:45
  saving.
• 1:46
  And
• 1:46
  I
• 1:46
  thought
• 1:46
  to
• 1:46
  myself,
• 1:47
  you
• 1:47
  know,
• 1:47
  savings
• 1:47
  isn't
• 1:47
  about
• 1:48
  security.
• 1:49
  A
• 1:49
  lot
• 1:49
  of
• 1:49
  people
• 1:49
  think,
• 1:50
  well,
• 1:50
  if
• 1:50
  I've
• 1:50
  got
• 1:50
  a
• 1:51
  savings
• 1:51
  account,
• 1:51
  I'm
• 1:52
  secure.
• 1:52
  It's
• 1:52
  not
• 1:53
  about
• 1:53
  that,
• 1:54
  it's
• 1:54
  about
• 1:54
  stewardship.
• 1:55
  Because
• 1:55
  the
• 1:55
  true
• 1:56
  piece
• 1:56
  of
• 1:57
  all
• 1:57
  of
• 1:57
  this
• 1:58
  comes
• 1:58
  from
• 1:58
  trusting
• 1:59
  God.
• 1:59
  So
• 1:59
  let's
• 1:59
  talk
• 1:59
  about
• 2:00
  some
• 2:00
  saving
• 2:00
  ideas
• 2:01
  on
• 2:01
  the
• 2:01
  show
• 2:01
  today
• 2:02
  to
• 2:02
  help
• 2:02
  you
• 2:02
  stop
• 2:02
  the
• 2:02
  worry
• 2:03
  and
• 2:03
  really
• 2:04
  live
• 2:04
  in
• 2:04
  that
• 2:04
  provision
• 2:05
  and
• 2:05
  that
• 2:05
  trust
• 2:06
  in
• 2:06
  your
• 2:06
  deep
• 2:07
  faith.
• 2:09
  This
• 2:09
  is
• 2:09
  Financially
• 2:10
  Confident
• 2:10
  Christian,
• 2:11
  your
• 2:11
  daily
• 2:12
  dose
• 2:12
  of
• 2:12
  gospel
• 2:13
  grounded
• 2:13
  insight
• 2:13
  and
• 2:14
  faith
• 2:14
  driven
• 2:14
  tips
• 2:15
  to
• 2:15
  help
• 2:15
  you
• 2:16
  break
• 2:16
  the
• 2:16
  cycle
• 2:16
  of
• 2:16
  financial
• 2:17
  shame
• 2:17
  with
• 2:17
  confidence.
• 2:21
  Hello
• 2:21
  and
• 2:21
  welcome
• 2:21
  to
• 2:22
  the
• 2:22
  show.
• 2:22
  I'm
• 2:22
  Ralph.
• 2:23
  My
• 2:23
  goal
• 2:23
  every
• 2:24
  day
• 2:24
  is
• 2:24
  to
• 2:24
  help
• 2:24
  you
• 2:24
  break
• 2:24
  that
• 2:25
  cycle
• 2:25
  of
• 2:25
  financial
• 2:25
  shame
• 2:26
  and
• 2:26
  do
• 2:26
  it
• 2:26
  with
• 2:26
  confidence.
• 2:27
  And
• 2:27
  today
• 2:28
  we're
• 2:28
  talking
• 2:28
  about
• 2:28
  savings.
• 2:29
  And
• 2:30
  I
• 2:30
  have
• 2:30
  worked
• 2:30
  with
• 2:30
  clients
• 2:31
  now
• 2:31
  for
• 2:31
  going
• 2:31
  on
• 2:31
  30
• 2:32
  years
• 2:33
  and
• 2:33
  I've
• 2:33
  seen
• 2:34
  how
• 2:34
  that
• 2:34
  is
• 2:34
  such
• 2:34
  a
• 2:35
  fearful,
• 2:35
  anxiety
• 2:36
  ridden
• 2:37
  feel,
• 2:37
  like
• 2:37
  it's
• 2:37
  overwhelmed
• 2:38
  to
• 2:38
  some
• 2:38
  people.
• 2:39
  But
• 2:39
  I've
• 2:40
  also
• 2:40
  seen
• 2:40
  how
• 2:41
  having
• 2:41
  that
• 2:41
  faith
• 2:43
  and
• 2:43
  having
• 2:43
  that
• 2:43
  determination
• 2:44
  and
• 2:44
  really
• 2:44
  living
• 2:45
  in
• 2:45
  God's
• 2:45
  will
• 2:45
  has
• 2:46
  brought
• 2:46
  people
• 2:46
  through
• 2:47
  times
• 2:47
  of
• 2:47
  really
• 2:48
  deep
• 2:48
  trouble.
• 2:49
  Because
• 2:49
  the
• 2:49
  truth
• 2:50
  is
• 2:50
  peace
• 2:51
  comes
• 2:51
  from
• 2:51
  planning
• 2:52
  and
• 2:52
  not
• 2:52
  panic.
• 2:52
  I
• 2:53
  never
• 2:53
  forget
• 2:53
  a
• 2:53
  woman
• 2:53
  told
• 2:53
  me
• 2:54
  once,
• 2:54
  she
• 2:54
  said,
• 2:54
  ralph,
• 2:55
  I'll
• 2:55
  never
• 2:55
  be
• 2:55
  a
• 2:55
  good
• 2:55
  saver.
• 2:56
  It's
• 2:56
  so
• 2:56
  many,
• 2:57
  it's
• 2:57
  so
• 2:57
  interesting
• 2:57
  how
• 2:58
  many
• 2:58
  people
• 2:58
  say
• 2:58
  that
• 2:58
  to
• 2:58
  me.
• 2:59
  You
• 2:59
  know,
• 2:59
  you'll
• 2:59
  run
• 2:59
  into
• 2:59
  people
• 3:00
  and
• 3:00
  they'll
• 3:00
  say,
• 3:00
  Ralph,
• 3:00
  when
• 3:01
  it
• 3:01
  comes
• 3:01
  to
• 3:01
  money,
• 3:01
  I'm
• 3:02
  not
• 3:02
  good
• 3:02
  with
• 3:02
  money.
• 3:03
  But
• 3:04
  here's
• 3:04
  the
• 3:04
  thing.
• 3:04
  This
• 3:05
  particular
• 3:05
  woman
• 3:05
  had
• 3:05
  built
• 3:06
  a
• 3:06
  600
• 3:07
  emergency
• 3:07
  fund.
• 3:07
  I
• 3:08
  compare
• 3:08
  that
• 3:08
  to
• 3:09
  the
• 3:09
  research
• 3:09
  today.
• 3:10
  Less
• 3:11
  than
• 3:11
  56%
• 3:12
  even
• 3:12
  have
• 3:12
  a
• 3:12
  thousand
• 3:13
  dollars.
• 3:13
  Well,
• 3:13
  she
• 3:13
  had
• 3:13
  built
• 3:13
  a
• 3:14
  $600
• 3:14
  emergency
• 3:15
  fund
• 3:16
  that
• 3:16
  was
• 3:16
  enough
• 3:16
  to
• 3:16
  fix
• 3:16
  her
• 3:17
  car
• 3:17
  when
• 3:17
  it
• 3:17
  broke
• 3:17
  down.
• 3:17
  That's
• 3:18
  enough.
• 3:18
  If
• 3:18
  you
• 3:19
  got
• 3:19
  to
• 3:19
  go
• 3:19
  to
• 3:19
  the
• 3:19
  dentist
• 3:20
  and
• 3:20
  have
• 3:20
  a
• 3:20
  root
• 3:20
  canal
• 3:20
  done
• 3:21
  or
• 3:21
  something
• 3:21
  like
• 3:21
  that,
• 3:23
  that
• 3:23
  fund
• 3:23
  wasn't
• 3:24
  failure.
• 3:25
  That
• 3:25
  was
• 3:25
  really
• 3:26
  being
• 3:26
  successful,
• 3:27
  and
• 3:27
  it
• 3:27
  was
• 3:27
  freedom.
• 3:28
  And
• 3:28
  I
• 3:28
  love
• 3:28
  what
• 3:29
  Rachel
• 3:29
  Cruz
• 3:29
  said.
• 3:29
  She's
• 3:30
  part
• 3:30
  of
• 3:30
  the
• 3:31
  Dave
• 3:31
  Ramsey
• 3:32
  Group,
• 3:32
  and
• 3:32
  she
• 3:32
  said
• 3:32
  savings
• 3:33
  money
• 3:33
  isn't
• 3:34
  about
• 3:34
  hoarding.
• 3:35
  It's
• 3:35
  about
• 3:35
  creating
• 3:36
  margin
• 3:36
  for
• 3:36
  peace.
• 3:37
  And
• 3:37
  that's
• 3:37
  really
• 3:37
  what
• 3:37
  we're
• 3:37
  talking
• 3:37
  about
• 3:38
  today,
• 3:38
  is
• 3:38
  how
• 3:39
  do
• 3:39
  we
• 3:39
  create
• 3:39
  that
• 3:39
  margin
• 3:40
  for
• 3:40
  peace?
• 3:40
  So
• 3:40
  let's
• 3:40
  get
• 3:41
  back
• 3:41
  to
• 3:41
  our
• 3:41
  question.
• 3:41
  And.
• 3:42
  And
• 3:42
  that's
• 3:42
  how
• 3:42
  do
• 3:42
  I
• 3:43
  stop
• 3:43
  worrying
• 3:43
  and
• 3:44
  trust
• 3:44
  God's
• 3:44
  provision?
• 3:45
  I've
• 3:45
  got
• 3:45
  four
• 3:45
  ways
• 3:46
  to
• 3:46
  help
• 3:46
  you
• 3:47
  break
• 3:47
  that
• 3:47
  cycle
• 3:48
  of
• 3:48
  fear
• 3:48
  and
• 3:49
  really
• 3:49
  live
• 3:49
  in
• 3:49
  confidence.
• 3:49
  Number
• 3:50
  one
• 3:50
  thing,
• 3:51
  build
• 3:51
  that
• 3:51
  emergency
• 3:52
  fund.
• 3:52
  If
• 3:52
  you
• 3:52
  listen
• 3:53
  to
• 3:53
  the
• 3:53
  show,
• 3:53
  you
• 3:53
  know,
• 3:53
  Ralph's
• 3:54
  always
• 3:54
  harping
• 3:54
  about
• 3:54
  this
• 3:55
  emergency
• 3:55
  fund.
• 3:56
  It's
• 3:56
  a
• 3:57
  small
• 3:57
  cushion,
• 3:57
  but
• 3:57
  listen,
• 3:58
  it's
• 3:58
  a
• 3:58
  big
• 3:58
  calm.
• 3:59
  I
• 3:59
  know
• 4:00
  times
• 4:00

• 4:00
  my
• 4:00
  life
• 4:01
  when
• 4:01
  something's
• 4:01
  come
• 4:02
  up,
• 4:02
  the
• 4:02
  washing
• 4:02
  machine
• 4:03
  broke
• 4:03
  down,
• 4:04
  something's
• 4:04
  not
• 4:05
  working.
• 4:05
  I
• 4:05
  got
• 4:05
  to
• 4:05
  go
• 4:06
  to
• 4:06
  the
• 4:06
  doctor.
• 4:06
  One
• 4:06
  of
• 4:06
  the
• 4:07
  kids
• 4:07
  need
• 4:07
  something
• 4:07
  for
• 4:08
  school.
• 4:08
  If
• 4:08
  you've
• 4:09
  got
• 4:09
  that
• 4:09
  small
• 4:09
  cushion,
• 4:10
  I'm
• 4:10
  not
• 4:10
  talking
• 4:10
  about
• 4:11
  thousands
• 4:11
  of
• 4:11
  dollars.
• 4:12
  Your
• 4:13
  emergency
• 4:13
  fund
• 4:13
  could
• 4:13
  be
• 4:14
  simply
• 4:14
  50
• 4:14
  bucks
• 4:15
  or
• 4:15
  100
• 4:16
  bucks.
• 4:17
  It
• 4:17
  gives
• 4:17
  you
• 4:17
  peace.
• 4:18
  It's
• 4:18
  not
• 4:18
  about
• 4:18
  perfection.
• 4:19
  If
• 4:19
  you
• 4:20
  think
• 4:20
  you're
• 4:20
  going
• 4:20
  to
• 4:20
  live
• 4:20
  in
• 4:21
  perfection
• 4:21
  when
• 4:22
  it
• 4:22
  comes
• 4:22
  to
• 4:22
  your
• 4:22
  finances,
• 4:23
  I'm
• 4:23
  going
• 4:23
  to
• 4:23
  tell
• 4:23
  you
• 4:24
  a
• 4:24
  little
• 4:24
  secret.
• 4:25
  You're
• 4:25
  not
• 4:25
  going
• 4:25
  to
• 4:25
  get
• 4:25
  there,
• 4:26
  but
• 4:26
  $100
• 4:28
  can
• 4:28
  be
• 4:28
  a
• 4:28
  confident
• 4:29
  seed.
• 4:29
  And
• 4:29
  listen,
• 4:29
  you
• 4:29
  don't
• 4:30
  have
• 4:30
  to
• 4:30
  get
• 4:30
  to
• 4:30
  it
• 4:30
  overnight.
• 4:31
  Put
• 4:31
  aside
• 4:31
  $10
• 4:32
  a
• 4:32
  week.
• 4:33
  Just
• 4:33
  start
• 4:33
  to
• 4:33
  prepare
• 4:34
  for
• 4:34
  that.
• 4:34
  That
• 4:34
  way,
• 4:34
  when
• 4:35
  you
• 4:35
  are
• 4:35
  faced
• 4:35
  with
• 4:36
  that
• 4:36
  situation,
• 4:37
  you
• 4:37
  don't
• 4:37
  have
• 4:37
  to
• 4:38
  panic,
• 4:39
  because
• 4:39
  that
• 4:39
  faith
• 4:40
  that
• 4:40
  you
• 4:40
  have
• 4:41
  builds
• 4:41
  that
• 4:41
  margin.
• 4:42
  So
• 4:42
  that's
• 4:42
  the
• 4:42
  first
• 4:42
  thing.
• 4:42
  Build
• 4:43
  that
• 4:43
  emergency
• 4:43
  fund.
• 4:44
  Second
• 4:44
  thing,
• 4:45
  you
• 4:46
  got
• 4:46
  to
• 4:46
  start
• 4:46
  thinking
• 4:46
  about
• 4:46
  retirement.
• 4:48
  The
• 4:49
  younger
• 4:49
  you
• 4:49
  are,
• 4:49
  the
• 4:50
  better
• 4:50
  it
• 4:50
  is
• 4:50
  to
• 4:51
  start
• 4:51
  doing
• 4:51
  this.
• 4:51
  Think
• 4:52
  about
• 4:52
  it
• 4:52
  like
• 4:52
  this.
• 4:52
  If
• 4:52
  you're
• 4:52
  going
• 4:52
  to
• 4:52
  plant
• 4:53
  a
• 4:53
  garden,
• 4:54
  you
• 4:54
  got
• 4:54
  to
• 4:54
  plant
• 4:55
  that
• 4:55
  garden
• 4:55
  early
• 4:55
  in
• 4:56
  the
• 4:56
  season.
• 4:56
  You
• 4:57
  want
• 4:57
  to
• 4:57
  make
• 4:57
  sure
• 4:57
  that
• 4:57
  the
• 4:58
  soil
• 4:58
  is
• 4:58
  ready.
• 4:58
  You
• 4:58
  put
• 4:59
  those
• 4:59
  seeds
• 4:59
  deep
• 4:59
  down
• 5:00
  because
• 5:00
  it
• 5:00
  has
• 5:00
  to
• 5:00
  have
• 5:01
  time
• 5:01
  to
• 5:01
  germinate
• 5:03
  well.
• 5:03
  Your
• 5:03
  retirement
• 5:03
  works
• 5:04
  the
• 5:04
  same
• 5:04
  way.
• 5:04
  You've
• 5:05
  got
• 5:05
  to
• 5:05
  steadily
• 5:05
  be
• 5:06
  putting
• 5:06
  those
• 5:06
  Seeds
• 5:06
  in.
• 5:06
  Because
• 5:07
  if
• 5:07
  you
• 5:07
  want
• 5:07
  to
• 5:07
  build
• 5:07
  lasting
• 5:08
  fruit,
• 5:09
  you
• 5:09
  got
• 5:09
  to
• 5:09
  put
• 5:09
  those
• 5:10
  seeds
• 5:10
  in.
• 5:10
  Because
• 5:10
  time,
• 5:11
  it's
• 5:11
  all
• 5:11
  about
• 5:11
  timing.
• 5:12
  We've
• 5:12
  talked
• 5:12
  about
• 5:12
  that
• 5:12
  on
• 5:13
  our
• 5:13
  show.
• 5:13
  When
• 5:13
  we
• 5:13
  did
• 5:13
  this
• 5:14
  whole
• 5:14
  month
• 5:14
  of
• 5:14
  investment,
• 5:15
  we
• 5:15
  talked
• 5:15
  all
• 5:15
  about
• 5:15
  timing.
• 5:16
  And
• 5:16
  the
• 5:17
  harvest
• 5:17
  comes
• 5:17
  slow.
• 5:18
  So
• 5:19
  don't
• 5:19
  delay
• 5:19
  the
• 5:19
  planning
• 5:20
  because
• 5:20
  it's
• 5:20
  all
• 5:20
  about
• 5:21
  building
• 5:21
  a
• 5:22
  legacy.
• 5:22
  It's
• 5:22
  not
• 5:22
  about
• 5:22
  living
• 5:23
  in
• 5:23
  luxury.
• 5:24
  So
• 5:24
  number
• 5:24
  two,
• 5:24
  retirement.
• 5:25
  Number
• 5:25
  three,
• 5:25
  thing.
• 5:26
  This
• 5:26
  is
• 5:27
  one
• 5:27
  of
• 5:27
  the
• 5:27
  things
• 5:27
  I
• 5:27
  think
• 5:27
  is
• 5:28
  a
• 5:28
  make
• 5:28
  or
• 5:28
  break
• 5:29
  thing.
• 5:29
  And
• 5:29
  it's
• 5:30
  goal
• 5:30
  setting.
• 5:31
  So
• 5:31
  many
• 5:31
  people
• 5:32
  that
• 5:32
  I
• 5:32
  run
• 5:32
  into
• 5:32
  just
• 5:33
  don't
• 5:33
  take
• 5:33
  the
• 5:33
  time
• 5:33
  to
• 5:34
  set
• 5:34
  goals.
• 5:35
  Well,
• 5:35
  if
• 5:35
  you
• 5:35
  don't
• 5:35
  have
• 5:35
  any
• 5:35
  goals,
• 5:36
  what's
• 5:36
  your
• 5:36
  purpose?
• 5:37
  That
• 5:38
  purpose
• 5:38
  fuels
• 5:39
  your
• 5:39
  saving.
• 5:40
  And
• 5:40
  when
• 5:40
  you
• 5:40
  have
• 5:40
  a
• 5:41
  vision,
• 5:41
  think
• 5:41
  about
• 5:42
  goals
• 5:42
  like
• 5:42
  this.
• 5:43
  Goals
• 5:43
  are
• 5:43
  a
• 5:44
  vision.
• 5:45
  Those
• 5:45
  visions
• 5:46
  give
• 5:46
  you
• 5:46
  meaning.
• 5:47
  And
• 5:47
  every
• 5:48
  single
• 5:48
  dollar.
• 5:48
  And
• 5:48
  listen,
• 5:49
  it
• 5:49
  could
• 5:49
  be
• 5:49
  a
• 5:49
  dollar.
• 5:49
  You
• 5:50
  could
• 5:50
  save
• 5:50
  a
• 5:50
  dollar
• 5:51
  a
• 5:51
  day.
• 5:51
  But
• 5:52
  if
• 5:52
  you've
• 5:52
  got
• 5:52
  that
• 5:52
  vision
• 5:53
  that
• 5:53
  I
• 5:53
  want
• 5:53
  to
• 5:53
  build
• 5:54
  up
• 5:54
  this
• 5:54
  nest
• 5:54
  egg,
• 5:54
  I
• 5:55
  want
• 5:55
  to
• 5:55
  build
• 5:55
  up
• 5:56
  this
• 5:56
  emergency
• 5:57
  fund.
• 5:57
  That's
• 5:58
  direction.
• 5:59
  And
• 6:00
  then
• 6:00
  you
• 6:00
  start
• 6:00
  to
• 6:00
  save
• 6:01
  because
• 6:01
  it's
• 6:01
  a
• 6:01
  serving
• 6:01
  thing.
• 6:02
  We
• 6:02
  talked
• 6:02
  about
• 6:02
  this
• 6:02
  being
• 6:02
  a
• 6:03
  stewardship
• 6:03
  thing.
• 6:04
  And
• 6:04
  you
• 6:04
  have
• 6:05
  such
• 6:05
  joy
• 6:05
  when
• 6:05
  you're
• 6:06
  living
• 6:06
  in
• 6:06
  your
• 6:06
  purpose.
• 6:08
  And
• 6:08
  number
• 6:08
  four,
• 6:09
  thing.
• 6:10
  And
• 6:10
  we've
• 6:10
  got
• 6:10
  to
• 6:10
  embrace
• 6:11
  this.
• 6:11
  A
• 6:11
  lot
• 6:11
  of
• 6:11
  people
• 6:12
  don't
• 6:12
  get
• 6:12
  this,
• 6:12
  but
• 6:13
  celebrate
• 6:13
  these
• 6:14
  things
• 6:15
  because
• 6:15
  when
• 6:15
  you
• 6:15
  celebrate
• 6:16
  things,
• 6:16
  when
• 6:16
  you
• 6:16
  live
• 6:16
  in
• 6:16
  gratitude,
• 6:17
  it's
• 6:17
  so.
• 6:18
  It's
• 6:18
  so
• 6:18
  hard
• 6:18
  to
• 6:18
  be
• 6:19
  down
• 6:19
  on
• 6:19
  yourself
• 6:19
  when
• 6:20
  you
• 6:20
  live
• 6:20
  in
• 6:20
  gratitude.
• 6:22
  When
• 6:22
  you
• 6:22
  see
• 6:22
  God's
• 6:23
  hand
• 6:23
  every
• 6:24
  day
• 6:24
  in
• 6:25
  your
• 6:25
  personal
• 6:25
  financial
• 6:26
  life.
• 6:27
  Praise
• 6:27
  that
• 6:28
  progress,
• 6:28
  man.
• 6:28
  Maybe
• 6:29
  you
• 6:29
  didn't
• 6:29
  save
• 6:29
  anything
• 6:30
  today,
• 6:30
  but
• 6:30
  maybe
• 6:30
  the
• 6:31
  other
• 6:31
  side
• 6:31
  of
• 6:31
  the
• 6:31
  thing
• 6:31
  is
• 6:31
  you
• 6:31
  didn't
• 6:32
  spend
• 6:32
  anything
• 6:32
  today
• 6:32
  either.
• 6:33
  That's
• 6:34
  a
• 6:34
  win.
• 6:35
  Because
• 6:35
  those
• 6:35
  wins
• 6:36
  are
• 6:36
  truly
• 6:37
  worship
• 6:37
  moments.
• 6:38
  And
• 6:38
  that
• 6:38
  provision
• 6:39
  that
• 6:39
  God
• 6:39
  gives
• 6:39
  us
• 6:40
  every
• 6:40
  single
• 6:40
  day,
• 6:41
  he
• 6:41
  deserves
• 6:42
  thanks
• 6:42
  for
• 6:42
  that.
• 6:42
  And
• 6:43
  how
• 6:43
  many
• 6:43
  times
• 6:43
  do
• 6:43
  we
• 6:43
  take
• 6:44
  that
• 6:44
  for
• 6:44
  granted?
• 6:45
  So
• 6:45
  live
• 6:46
  in
• 6:46
  that
• 6:46
  gratitude.
• 6:46
  So
• 6:47
  again,
• 6:47
  my
• 6:47
  top
• 6:47
  four
• 6:47
  things
• 6:48
  today,
• 6:48
  build
• 6:48
  that
• 6:48
  emergency
• 6:49
  fund.
• 6:49
  It
• 6:49
  doesn't
• 6:49
  have
• 6:50
  to
• 6:50
  be
• 6:50
  a
• 6:50
  big
• 6:50
  number.
• 6:51
  I
• 6:51
  would
• 6:51
  love
• 6:51
  for
• 6:51
  it
• 6:52
  to
• 6:52
  be
• 6:52
  three,
• 6:52
  four,
• 6:53
  five
• 6:53
  months
• 6:53
  of
• 6:53
  income.
• 6:54
  That
• 6:54
  would
• 6:54
  be
• 6:54
  fantastic.
• 6:55
  That's
• 6:55
  a
• 6:55
  visionary
• 6:55
  goal
• 6:56
  to
• 6:56
  get
• 6:56
  there.
• 6:57
  But
• 6:58
  start
• 6:58
  with
• 6:58
  50
• 6:58
  bucks.
• 6:59
  Start
• 6:59
  with
• 6:59
  $100.
• 7:00
  Don't
• 7:01
  forget
• 7:01
  to
• 7:01
  look
• 7:01
  at
• 7:01
  that
• 7:01
  retirement
• 7:02
  planning.
• 7:02
  The
• 7:03
  earlier
• 7:03
  you
• 7:03
  start,
• 7:04
  the
• 7:04
  more
• 7:04
  margin
• 7:05
  you
• 7:05
  give
• 7:05
  yourself.
• 7:05
  Set
• 7:05
  those
• 7:06
  goals.
• 7:07
  But
• 7:07
  don't
• 7:07
  forget,
• 7:08
  it's
• 7:08
  time
• 7:08
  to
• 7:09
  celebrate
• 7:09
  as
• 7:09
  well.
• 7:09
  Which
• 7:10
  leads
• 7:10
  us
• 7:10
  to
• 7:10
  our
• 7:10
  Bible
• 7:10
  verse
• 7:11
  today.
• 7:11
  It
• 7:12
  comes
• 7:12
  to
• 7:12
  us
• 7:12
  from
• 7:12
  the
• 7:12
  book

  of

  Philippians,
• 7:13
  chapter
• 7:13
  4,
• 7:14
  verse
• 7:14
  19.
• 7:14
  It
• 7:14
  says,
• 7:15
  My
• 7:15
  God
• 7:15
  will
• 7:15
  meet
• 7:16
  all
• 7:16
  of
• 7:16
  your
• 7:16
  needs,
• 7:17
  man.
• 7:18
  That's
• 7:18
  a
• 7:18
  That's
• 7:18
  a
• 7:19
  promise,
• 7:19
  isn't
• 7:19
  it?
• 7:20
  God
• 7:20
  will
• 7:21
  meet
• 7:21
  all
• 7:21
  of
• 7:21
  your
• 7:21
  needs.
• 7:23
  God's
• 7:23
  already
• 7:23
  provided
• 7:24
  you
• 7:24
  provision.
• 7:24
  Now
• 7:24
  he
• 7:24
  doesn't
• 7:24
  provide
• 7:25
  you
• 7:25
  comfort.
• 7:26
  You
• 7:26
  know,
• 7:26
  that's
• 7:26
  a
• 7:26
  lot
• 7:26
  of
• 7:26
  people
• 7:27
  getting
• 7:27
  hung
• 7:27
  up
• 7:27
  on
• 7:27
  that.
• 7:28
  It's
• 7:28
  not
• 7:28
  about
• 7:29
  comfort,
• 7:29
  it's
• 7:29
  about
• 7:30
  provision.
• 7:30
  But
• 7:30
  it
• 7:30
  says,
• 7:30
  my
• 7:31
  God
• 7:31
  will
• 7:31
  meet
• 7:31
  all
• 7:31
  of
• 7:31
  your
• 7:32
  needs.
• 7:33
  And
• 7:33
  it
• 7:33
  goes
• 7:33
  on
• 7:33
  to
• 7:33
  say,
• 7:34
  in
• 7:34
  his
• 7:34
  richness,
• 7:34
  in
• 7:34
  the
• 7:35
  name
• 7:35
  of
• 7:35
  Christ
• 7:35
  Jesus,
• 7:35
  which
• 7:36
  is
• 7:36
  just
• 7:36
  the
• 7:36
  other
• 7:36
  side
• 7:37
  of
• 7:37
  that.
• 7:38
  Well,
• 7:38
  how
• 7:38
  about
• 7:38
  we
• 7:39
  pray
• 7:39
  right
• 7:39
  now?
• 7:39
  Because
• 7:39
  I
• 7:39
  think
• 7:39
  we
• 7:40
  got
• 7:40
  to
• 7:40
  thank
• 7:40
  God
• 7:40
  for
• 7:40
  these
• 7:41
  things.
• 7:41
  Lord,
• 7:41
  we
• 7:41
  come
• 7:41
  to
• 7:42
  you
• 7:42
  right
• 7:42
  now
• 7:42
  and
• 7:42
  we
• 7:42
  just
• 7:43
  thank
• 7:43
  you
• 7:43
  so
• 7:43
  much
• 7:44
  for
• 7:44
  the
• 7:44
  daily
• 7:44
  provision
• 7:45
  that
• 7:45
  so
• 7:45
  many
• 7:45
  of
• 7:45
  us
• 7:46
  take
• 7:46
  for
• 7:46
  granted.
• 7:47
  Lord,
• 7:48
  we
• 7:48
  know
• 7:48
  that
• 7:48
  you've
• 7:48
  given
• 7:48
  us
• 7:49
  everything
• 7:49
  we
• 7:49
  need.
• 7:50
  And
• 7:51
  we
• 7:51
  just
• 7:51
  ask
• 7:51
  you
• 7:51
  right
• 7:52
  now
• 7:52
  for
• 7:52
  the
• 7:52
  discipline
• 7:52
  to
• 7:53
  stay
• 7:53
  consistent
• 7:53
  for
• 7:53
  that
• 7:54
  day
• 7:54
  in
• 7:54
  and
• 7:54
  day
• 7:54
  out.
• 7:55
  Help
• 7:55
  us
• 7:55
  to
• 7:55
  build
• 7:55
  a
• 7:56
  vision
• 7:56
  of
• 7:56
  what
• 7:56
  you
• 7:57
  want
• 7:57
  for
• 7:57
  us,
• 7:57
  Lord,
• 7:58
  and
• 7:58
  help
• 7:59
  us
• 7:59
  to
• 7:59
  finally
• 8:00
  find
• 8:00
  peace
• 8:01
  over
• 8:01
  that
• 8:02
  anxiety
• 8:02
  and
• 8:02
  fear,
• 8:03
  knowing
• 8:03
  that
• 8:03
  you've
• 8:04
  got
• 8:04
  this,
• 8:04
  Lord,
• 8:04
  as
• 8:04
  your
• 8:05
  word
• 8:05
  says,
• 8:05
  my
• 8:06
  God
• 8:06
  will
• 8:06
  meet
• 8:06
  all
• 8:06
  of
• 8:06
  your
• 8:07
  needs.
• 8:07
  We
• 8:07
  know
• 8:07
  you're
• 8:07
  going
• 8:07
  to
• 8:07
  meet
• 8:07
  all
• 8:08
  of
• 8:08
  our
• 8:08
  needs,
• 8:08
  Lord.
• 8:08
  We
• 8:08
  just
• 8:09
  place
• 8:09
  this
• 8:09
  all
• 8:09
  at
• 8:10
  the
• 8:10
  feet
• 8:10
  of
• 8:10
  the
• 8:10
  cross
• 8:11
  in
• 8:11
  the
• 8:12
  name
• 8:12
  of
• 8:12
  Jesus.
• 8:13
  Amen.
• 8:14
  Okay,
• 8:15
  you
• 8:15
  ready
• 8:15
  for
• 8:15
  your
• 8:15
  one
• 8:15
  action
• 8:15
  item
• 8:16
  today?
• 8:17
  Here's
• 8:17
  what
• 8:17
  I
• 8:17
  want
• 8:17
  you
• 8:17
  to
• 8:18
  do.
• 8:18
  I
• 8:18
  want
• 8:18
  you
• 8:18
  to
• 8:19
  just
• 8:19
  sit
• 8:19
  down
• 8:19
  and
• 8:20
  write
• 8:20
  one
• 8:20
  clear
• 8:21
  goal
• 8:21
  for
• 8:22
  savings
• 8:22
  for
• 8:22
  next
• 8:22
  year.
• 8:23
  Just
• 8:23
  something
• 8:24
  simple.
• 8:25
  Make
• 8:25
  it
• 8:25
  a
• 8:25
  goal
• 8:25
  you
• 8:26
  can
• 8:26
  attain.
• 8:26
  Make
• 8:27
  it
• 8:27
  something
• 8:27
  you
• 8:27
  can
• 8:27
  get
• 8:27
  to.
• 8:28
  Maybe
• 8:28
  for
• 8:28
  you,
• 8:28
  it's
• 8:29
  that
• 8:29
  hundred
• 8:29
  dollar
• 8:29
  emergency
• 8:30
  fund.
• 8:30
  Maybe
• 8:31
  for
• 8:31
  you,
• 8:31
  it's
• 8:31
  $500
• 8:32
  put
• 8:33
  into
• 8:33
  a
• 8:33
  certificate
• 8:34
  of
• 8:34
  deposit
• 8:34
  or
• 8:34
  whatever
• 8:34
  that
• 8:34
  looks
• 8:35
  like
• 8:35
  for
• 8:35
  you.
• 8:36
  Set
• 8:36
  that
• 8:36
  one
• 8:37
  goal
• 8:37
  and
• 8:38
  put
• 8:38
  your
• 8:38
  vision
• 8:38
  there
• 8:39
  and
• 8:39
  say,
• 8:39
  okay,
• 8:39
  how
• 8:39
  am
• 8:39
  I
• 8:39
  going
• 8:40
  to
• 8:40
  get
• 8:40
  to
• 8:40
  this
• 8:40
  goal
• 8:41
  and
• 8:41
  then
• 8:41
  start
• 8:41
  taking
• 8:41
  those
• 8:42
  steps?
• 8:42
  But
• 8:42
  here's
• 8:42
  the
• 8:42
  thing
• 8:42
  I
• 8:43
  want
• 8:43
  to
• 8:43
  tell
• 8:43
  you.
• 8:44
  Pray
• 8:44
  about
• 8:44
  that
• 8:44
  goal.
• 8:45
  Pray
• 8:45
  every
• 8:45
  day
• 8:45
  about
• 8:45
  it.
• 8:46
  When
• 8:46
  you
• 8:46
  get
• 8:46
  up
• 8:46
  in
• 8:46
  the
• 8:46
  morning,
• 8:47
  pray
• 8:47
  about
• 8:47
  it
• 8:48
  at
• 8:48
  lunchtime,
• 8:49
  pray
• 8:49
  about
• 8:49
  it
• 8:49
  at
• 8:49
  night.
• 8:50
  Pray
• 8:50
  about
• 8:50
  it
• 8:50
  again.
• 8:51
  Because
• 8:51
  listen,
• 8:51
  God
• 8:52
  hears
• 8:52
  you.
• 8:53
  If
• 8:54
  you
• 8:54
  don't
• 8:54
  hear
• 8:54
  anything
• 8:54
  else
• 8:55
  I
• 8:55
  say
• 8:55
  today.
• 8:55
  God
• 8:56
  wants
• 8:56
  you
• 8:56
  to
• 8:56
  be
• 8:57
  successful.
• 8:57
  God
• 8:58
  wants
• 8:58
  you
• 8:58
  to
• 8:58
  be
• 8:59
  that
• 8:59
  steward
• 9:00
  of
• 9:00
  the
• 9:00
  resources
• 9:01
  he's
• 9:01
  given
• 9:01
  you.
• 9:02
  So
• 9:02
  just
• 9:02
  lean
• 9:02
  on
• 9:03
  him
• 9:03
  and
• 9:03
  do
• 9:03
  that.
• 9:04
  And
• 9:04
  while
• 9:04
  I'm
• 9:05
  talking
• 9:05
  about
• 9:05
  that,
• 9:05
  if
• 9:05
  this
• 9:05
  message
• 9:06
  spoke
• 9:06
  to
• 9:06
  you
• 9:06
  today,
• 9:07
  you
• 9:07
  don't
• 9:07
  have
• 9:07
  to
• 9:08
  walk
• 9:08
  alone
• 9:08
  in
• 9:08
  this
• 9:08
  journey.
• 9:09
  We
• 9:10
  just
• 9:10
  recently
• 9:10
  created
• 9:11
  a
• 9:11
  group.
• 9:11
  It's
• 9:11
  called
• 9:11
  the
• 9:12
  Financially
• 9:12
  Confident
• 9:12
  Christian
• 9:13
  Community.
• 9:14
  It's
• 9:14
  a
• 9:14
  great
• 9:14
  place
• 9:14
  where
• 9:15
  we
• 9:15
  can
• 9:15
  learn
• 9:15
  together,
• 9:16
  we
• 9:16
  can
• 9:16
  grow
• 9:16
  together,
• 9:17
  we
• 9:17
  can
• 9:17
  save
• 9:18
  in
• 9:18
  faith
• 9:18
  and
• 9:19
  we
• 9:19
  can
• 9:19
  live
• 9:19
  in
• 9:20
  faith.
• 9:20
  Not
• 9:20
  fear.
• 9:21
  And
• 9:21
  that's
• 9:21
  so
• 9:21
  important.
• 9:22
  It's
• 9:22
  a
• 9:22
  great
• 9:22
  place
• 9:23
  to
• 9:23
  find
• 9:23
  encouragement.
• 9:24
  I'm
• 9:24
  going
• 9:24
  to
• 9:24
  put
• 9:24
  practical
• 9:25
  tools
• 9:25
  out
• 9:26
  there.
• 9:26
  But
• 9:26
  here's
• 9:27
  the
• 9:27
  biggest
• 9:27
  part
• 9:27
  of
• 9:27
  it.
• 9:27
  It's
• 9:28
  really
• 9:28
  a
• 9:28
  community
• 9:29
  of
• 9:29
  people
• 9:29
  to
• 9:29
  pray
• 9:30
  with
• 9:30
  you
• 9:30
  when
• 9:31
  you're
• 9:31
  struggling.
• 9:32
  Maybe
• 9:32
  when
• 9:32
  you
• 9:32
  have
• 9:33
  something
• 9:33
  to
• 9:33
  celebrate,
• 9:33
  I
• 9:34
  would
• 9:34
  really
• 9:34
  encourage
• 9:34
  you
• 9:34
  to
• 9:35
  go
• 9:35
  check
• 9:35
  it
• 9:35
  out.
• 9:35
  You
• 9:35
  can
• 9:36
  go
• 9:36
  to
• 9:36
  it.
• 9:36
  It's
• 9:36
  absolutely
• 9:36
  free.
• 9:37
  Won't
• 9:37
  cost
• 9:37
  you
• 9:37
  a
• 9:37
  dime.
• 9:38
  You
• 9:38
  go
• 9:38
  to
• 9:39
  financiallyconfidentchristian.com/join.
• 9:42
  I'll
• 9:42
  give
• 9:42
  it
• 9:42
  to
• 9:42
  you
• 9:42
  one
• 9:42
  more
• 9:42
  time
• 9:42
  and
• 9:43
  it'll
• 9:43
  be
• 9:43
  in
• 9:43
  the
• 9:43
  show
• 9:43
  notes.
• 9:44
  But
• 9:44
  it's
• 9:44
  financiallyconfidentchristian.com/join.
• 9:47
  It's
• 9:47
  super
• 9:48
  simple
• 9:48
  to
• 9:48
  join.
• 9:48
  Just
• 9:48
  put
• 9:48
  in
• 9:49
  your
• 9:49
  name
• 9:49
  and
• 9:49
  email
• 9:49
  address
• 9:50
  and
• 9:50
  then
• 9:50
  you're
• 9:50
  a
• 9:50
  member
• 9:51
  of
• 9:51
  the
• 9:51
  community.
• 9:51
  Now
• 9:51
  there
• 9:51
  is
• 9:52
  an
• 9:52
  opportunity
• 9:52
  if
• 9:52
  you
• 9:53
  want
• 9:53
  to
• 9:53
  help
• 9:53
  support
• 9:53
  the
• 9:53
  show
• 9:54
  so
• 9:54
  we
• 9:54
  can
• 9:54
  reach
• 9:54
  more
• 9:54
  people.
• 9:55
  But
• 9:55
  again,
• 9:56
  please
• 9:56
  go
• 9:57
  do
• 9:57
  that.
• 9:57
  It's
• 9:58
  at
• 9:59
  financiallyconfidentchristian.com/join.
• 10:01
  And
• 10:02
  as
• 10:02
  we
• 10:02
  close
• 10:02
  today,
• 10:04
  remember
• 10:04
  this
• 10:05
  stewardship
• 10:05
  can
• 10:05
  replace
• 10:06
  stress.
• 10:07
  And
• 10:07
  when
• 10:07
  you
• 10:08
  manage
• 10:08
  with
• 10:08
  faith,
• 10:08
  not
• 10:08
  worried
• 10:09
  so
• 10:09
  much.
• 10:10
  God
• 10:10
  multiplies
• 10:11
  what
• 10:11
  you
• 10:11
  have.
• 10:12
  And
• 10:12
  I'm
• 10:12
  gonna
• 10:13
  tell
• 10:13
  you
• 10:13
  right
• 10:13
  now,
• 10:14
  you're
• 10:14
  further
• 10:14
  along

  trust
• 10:20
  me,
• 10:20

• 10:21
  is
• 10:21

• 10:22
  So
• 10:23
  go
• 10:23
  out
• 10:23
  there
• 10:23
  today
• 10:23
  and

• 10:24
  financially
• 10:25
  confident
• 10:25

• 10:25
  I
• 10:26

• 10:26
  you
• 10:26
  can
• 10:26
