- 1:37Speaker 1: let's go the Goodes gut. It's a story you need
- 1:41Speaker 1: to hear to believe. Then grab your popcorn because there
- 1:46Speaker 1: is so much more. I will on Tony Katz today
- 1:52Speaker 1: dig into this story about Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania,
- 1:57Speaker 1: because as we discussed some of the maddening comments of
- 2:00Speaker 1: Kamala Harris, the former Vice President, regarding Joe Biden in
- 2:07Speaker 1: this book that she wrote called one hundred and seven Days,
- 2:09Speaker 1: and she's thrown people under the bus. It's really ugly.
- 2:12Speaker 1: It is I don't know if she understands, which is
- 2:15Speaker 1: not surprising, the level of horrible that she looks in vindictive.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Why didn't you discuss these problems with Joe Biden before
- 2:25Speaker 1: you would have picked Pete Booter Judges, you're running mate.
- 2:27Speaker 1: But he was just too gay. I mean she didn't
- 2:30Speaker 1: call him too gay, but that's what you said. He
- 2:32Speaker 1: was gay, and America couldn't accept that. Holy cow, I
- 2:36Speaker 1: don't like Pete Butter Judge at all. He doesn't deserve that.
- 2:41Speaker 2: That is an awful thing.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I mean, it's the same conversation as not picking Shapiro.
- 2:46Speaker 1: He wasn't too ambitious. We know why she puts in
- 2:50Speaker 1: the book too ambitious, good lord, and Shapiro has taking
- 2:54Speaker 1: her to task. And there's a really bigger story in here,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and I'll get to that, but there is no bigger
- 2:59Speaker 1: story then Erica Kirk, the wife of the late Charlie Kirk,
- 3:09Speaker 1: and how she presented herself at this memorial service. The
- 3:22Speaker 1: accolades are real and deserved, and so part of what
- 3:30Speaker 1: she said right here, listen.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Father, forgive them for they not know what they do.
- 3:40Speaker 3: That man, that young man.
- 3:47Speaker 1: She proceeds does Erica Kirk with absolute grace and absolute
- 3:56Speaker 1: dignity in a way that is kind of hard to
- 4:04Speaker 1: you really should see it. She does what those who follow,
- 4:13Speaker 1: those who are our believers are taught to forgive you
- 4:22Speaker 1: and I may not even understand how that is possible.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Others may not even believe that she could do it,
- 4:31Speaker 1: But she did.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I forgive him.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Seventy thousand people on their feet, seventy thousand people, the
- 5:05Speaker 4: fair majority of its fears in theirs.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I forgive him because it was what Christ did.
- 5:25Speaker 2: And is what Charlie would do.
- 5:29Speaker 3: The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we
- 5:34Speaker 3: know from the Gospel is love and always love, love
- 5:39Speaker 3: for our enemies, and love for those who persecute us.
- 5:48Speaker 3: The world needs Turning Point USA. It needs a group
- 5:52Speaker 3: that will point young people away from the path of
- 5:56Speaker 3: misery and sin. It needs some that will lead people
- 6:00Speaker 3: away from hell in this world and in the next.
- 6:05Speaker 3: That needs young people pointed in the direction of truth
- 6:08Speaker 3: and beauty. And so I promise you today every part
- 6:14Speaker 3: of our work will become greater. I am tremendously honored
- 6:21Speaker 3: to be the new CEO of Turning Point USA.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I do not take that lightly. Charlie and I were
- 6:46Speaker 2: united in purpose.
- 6:48Speaker 3: His passion was my passion, and now his mission is
- 6:51Speaker 3: my mission.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Say what you will about Turning Point USA, Say what
- 6:57Speaker 1: you will about Charlie. The mass majority, the vast majority
- 7:04Speaker 1: of what has been said is horrific. From those people
- 7:09Speaker 1: who disagree, that couldn't just disagree, It's been a real
- 7:13Speaker 1: showing a level of ugliness. But make no mistake, and
- 7:19Speaker 1: I now engage this part of it politically. The left
- 7:24Speaker 1: has absolutely no counter for any of this. There's not
- 7:29Speaker 1: a single person in Indiana, no leftist member the Indiana
- 7:32Speaker 1: Democratic Party, no progressive that has a counter to this.
- 7:36Speaker 1: They've got squawkings on Twitter and that is all. Jasmine
- 7:42Speaker 1: Crockett and representative of Kasi Cortes have no answer for
- 7:45Speaker 1: this except for you to send your kids to indoctrination
- 7:49Speaker 1: factories and pay for them to be taught to hate you.
- 7:52Speaker 1: That is it. That is it. This from Erica Kirk,
- 8:05Speaker 1: in its tone, in its temperament, in its honesty, in
- 8:09Speaker 1: its clearly taken by the audience sincerity is just is
- 8:19Speaker 1: just remarkable. And it seems that she's going to put
- 8:26Speaker 1: her energy and her angers, if you will, into this
- 8:32Speaker 1: and into this work election days November third, twenty twenty sixth,
- 8:41Speaker 1: and I will bet you any amount of money right
- 8:43Speaker 1: now we might see some pretty fascinating turnout
