- 0:15Speaker 1: I love Daria Albinger. She's a dear, dear person, a
- 0:18Speaker 1: lovely friend. But I love how like we're up. Oh no,
- 0:21Speaker 1: we're down. But that's the market. That's the way the
- 0:24Speaker 1: market goes. Seven ten War the Voice of New York.
- 0:28Speaker 1: It's Ken Rosatto in for Mark on your Friday. Great
- 0:31Speaker 1: to have you here. I used to be on Channel
- 0:33Speaker 1: seven for twenty years. For those of you who say
- 0:35Speaker 1: I know that name, Why do I know this Versato cat? Yeah,
- 0:39Speaker 1: I was on Channel seven for twenty years, did the
- 0:41Speaker 1: morning and the noon show. And I was on Channel
- 0:44Speaker 1: five before that, Channel fifty five before that.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I was all over the place. It was like, you know,
- 0:51Speaker 2: it was like air.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Everywhere you look you found a Ken Rosatto. These days,
- 0:54Speaker 1: I'm on on New Jersey o n NJ dot com.
- 0:57Speaker 1: You could stream it anywhere doing talk news opinion. We
- 1:02Speaker 1: do that on a streaming TV channel in New Jersey.
- 1:05Speaker 1: We'd love you to check it out sometime ONNJ dot com. Well,
- 1:08Speaker 1: are you still following everything going on in Iran? Knows
- 1:13Speaker 1: we haven't talked about it for a few days. President
- 1:15Speaker 1: Trump says that he's launched an economic D Day campaign
- 1:19Speaker 1: against Iran, announcing crushing economic operations to force Tehran back
- 1:24Speaker 1: to negotiations. Well, he threatened any countries that comes to
- 1:28Speaker 1: their aid with massive financial retaliation. The announcement, though, causes
- 1:32Speaker 1: spike in oil prices, even though we're supposed to cause
- 1:35Speaker 1: loyal prices to come down. Here's Treasury Secretary Scott Bessont
- 1:39Speaker 1: who talked about it. Here.
- 1:40Speaker 3: We've got a spike in oil prices today that I
- 1:44Speaker 3: don't really understand. You know, our announcement is for economics action,
- 1:50Speaker 3: and I think that the economic action will mean that
- 1:53Speaker 3: oil prices will come down sooner.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I think a lot of people, I don't know how
- 1:57Speaker 1: you feel about this, but I think a lot of
- 1:59Speaker 1: people have had it up to here. You know, it's
- 2:01Speaker 1: been months now. Initially we thought, oh, we're gonna go
- 2:05Speaker 1: in one day clean it all out.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Bump.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Remember when we took out the nuclear stuff. Everybody thought, wow,
- 2:12Speaker 1: forty plus years of Iranian nonsense, forty five, forty six
- 2:17Speaker 1: years of Iranian nonsense from the Ayatola and everything else,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and we finally took them out. This is great done.
- 2:24Speaker 1: The stock market saled, oil prices started to come down.
- 2:28Speaker 1: It was like ding dong, the witch is dead. We're
- 2:30Speaker 1: all happy. And we find out a little while later
- 2:34Speaker 1: there's still nuclear dust. We have to clean it.
- 2:37Speaker 2: But don't worry about it. It'll take forever for.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Them to find it. Let alone us.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Don't worry.
- 2:42Speaker 1: There's nothing of fear. It's fine. We've knocked out all
- 2:45Speaker 1: of their military. Then suddenly the drones started attacking the
- 2:49Speaker 1: neighboring country.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Nah, I don't worry about it. Just a few drones
- 2:52Speaker 2: left over. We got it.
- 2:54Speaker 1: It's all good. Then all of a sudden they started
- 2:56Speaker 1: attacking the military basis, I.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Don't worry about it. One left over drunk.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Listen, I love me my President Trump. I do our
- 3:05Speaker 1: big supporter, I acknowledge it, big supporter of President Trump.
- 3:09Speaker 1: But I'm with I'm now in that camp where a
- 3:13Speaker 1: lot of people are saying, did we have to do this?
- 3:15Speaker 1: At the time, we did? And you could say yeah,
- 3:17Speaker 1: because of the nukes they were about to come about.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Were they are you of the same camp where you're thinking,
- 3:24Speaker 1: maybe we should have just waited till the midterms, win
- 3:27Speaker 1: the winter in midterms, and then go after Iran. If
- 3:30Speaker 1: you're going to do that at all, and if you
- 3:34Speaker 1: go in, you better go in knowing that you're going
- 3:36Speaker 1: to come right out. You better go in knowing that
- 3:40Speaker 1: you're going to strategically and surgically take care of what
- 3:43Speaker 1: you have to take care of, get it done, and
- 3:46Speaker 1: get out. I don't think anybody on the left or
- 3:50Speaker 1: the right signed up for something that just keeps going
- 3:54Speaker 1: and going. Oh, wait a minute, Ken, Now I'm talking
- 3:57Speaker 1: like the right wing. Wait a minute, Ken, are two
- 4:00Speaker 1: lasted years? Vietnam War lasted decades? What are you talking about?
- 4:04Speaker 2: Ken? This is only a couple of months.
- 4:05Speaker 1: You're right, but it was also a different time. Today,
- 4:09Speaker 1: we're doing things more with drones, we're doing things more
- 4:13Speaker 1: distant electronically, big aircraft carriers that we didn't do so
- 4:18Speaker 1: much with previous wars. So the expectation is we have
- 4:22Speaker 1: more intelligence, we should be able to go in, take
- 4:25Speaker 1: care of things, come out. The question is what's going
- 4:28Speaker 1: on in Iran? Is Iran working quietly with Russia or China?
- 4:34Speaker 1: Is that why this is still lingering, and if so,
- 4:37Speaker 1: what do we have to do to stop it? Did
- 4:39Speaker 1: we underestimate participation by these other countries. I think a
- 4:43Speaker 1: lot of people probably thought, especially in the intelligence community,
- 4:47Speaker 1: Russia's probably broke now, and they probably are. You know,
- 4:50Speaker 1: Russia at this point has spent so much money on
- 4:53Speaker 1: its war against Ukraine, and the US and Europe has
- 4:57Speaker 1: been backing Ukraine. So should we be shocked if Russia
- 5:01Speaker 1: is backing Iran. I'm amazed by members of our own
- 5:06Speaker 1: elective parties on the right, the Republicans, Conservatives, libertarians, who
- 5:12Speaker 1: would be stunned at the idea of Russia stepping in
- 5:16Speaker 1: to help Iran when the US and Europe has ostensibly
- 5:20Speaker 1: been helping Ukraine. You know, I should say Iran, yes,
- 5:24Speaker 1: because we've been helping Ukraine against Russia all this time.
- 5:27Speaker 1: So of course Russia's pissed off at US. Of course
- 5:30Speaker 1: they'll do something clandestine to help Iran. Why wouldn't they.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And China, China wants to be in charge, They want
- 5:37Speaker 1: to be the I'm trying to use a term that
- 5:41Speaker 1: isn't dirty on the air, the HSIC, the head you
- 5:45Speaker 1: know what, in charge, head in charge. I can't say
- 5:48Speaker 1: the word, I just say that, and you know what
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'm saying. They want to be in charge of everything,
- 5:52Speaker 1: They want to be the big dogs. And so what
- 5:55Speaker 1: better way then to make sure that this becomes a
- 5:57Speaker 1: war that takes us into oblivion, that gets a Democrat
- 6:01Speaker 1: Democrat Congress elected, that maybe impeaches the president who has
- 6:05Speaker 1: done so much to hurt the Chinese economy. What better
- 6:09Speaker 1: way than to do this to quietly back Iran, to
- 6:13Speaker 1: embarrass President Trump. So of course these other countries are helping,
- 6:17Speaker 1: but that's something we should have known, and maybe we did,
- 6:21Speaker 1: but we underestimated them. At this point, what do we
- 6:24Speaker 1: do about it? And how long are we going to
- 6:26Speaker 1: be stuck in this? And will it make us lose
- 6:29Speaker 1: the midterms? We lose the midterms. Look, it's all going
- 6:32Speaker 1: to be non stomp impeachment all the time. That's all
- 6:36Speaker 1: they gonna hear. Impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment. It's going to
- 6:40Speaker 1: be two years of get Trump out, big man, orange man,
- 6:44Speaker 1: bad get him out of office. So is this what
- 6:46Speaker 1: we want to deal with? I don't know. I think
- 6:48Speaker 1: that's even worse than the whole Iran quandary. But we
- 6:52Speaker 1: need to finish Iran either you know what, or get
- 6:54Speaker 1: off the pot, mister president, get this done and this
- 6:58Speaker 1: whole big economic thing. You know what, before making the announcement,
- 7:03Speaker 1: just do it. How do you feel, Just do it.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Don't make the announcement, just do it. Don't photograph, or
- 7:12Speaker 1: I should say a megaphone to the universe, this is
- 7:16Speaker 1: our plan.
- 7:16Speaker 2: We're going to just do it.
- 7:19Speaker 1: If you want to economically cut them off, call all
- 7:22Speaker 1: the countries quietly and do it. But stop making the announcement,
- 7:26Speaker 1: because every time we make an announcement, it's sort of
- 7:29Speaker 1: like it blows up in our faces. And it's starting
- 7:31Speaker 1: to get to a point where where we're crying wolf.
- 7:34Speaker 1: It's the sky is falling every single day, and I
- 7:37Speaker 1: think people are just tired of it. Let me know
- 7:40Speaker 1: how you feel about it. Eight hundred three to two
- 7:42Speaker 1: one zero seven ten, eight hundred three to two one
- 7:45Speaker 1: zero seven ten. It's certainly impacting the polls, and I
- 7:48Speaker 1: sure as that hope it doesn't cost us the midterms,
- 7:50Speaker 1: because there was a point it was looking like we
- 7:52Speaker 1: were going to squeak by that this was not going
- 7:54Speaker 1: to be a midterm election. When the president and the
- 7:57Speaker 1: power of the party in power was going to lose.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It looked like we had a chance on the Republican
- 8:02Speaker 1: side of keeping both houses, albeit a small chance, but
- 8:06Speaker 1: there was a chance of keeping both houses until the
- 8:09Speaker 1: whole arm thing just blew up in our faces. So
- 8:12Speaker 1: now we have to figure it out, but we'd better
- 8:15Speaker 1: figure it out fast. Eight hundred three to two one
- 8:18Speaker 1: zero seven ten. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 8:22Speaker 1: seven ten. So what do you think about the Dallas
- 8:24Speaker 1: Fort Worth International Airport thing that happened last week? Did
- 8:27Speaker 1: you hear about this Dallas Fort Worth International Airport? And
- 8:32Speaker 1: on the Dallas area, they've had a huge influx of
- 8:35Speaker 1: Muslims the whole Central Texas area wherever there's been wide
- 8:39Speaker 1: open space, all right, you've had Muslims coming in. And look,
- 8:46Speaker 1: Muslim Americans, God bless you. Religious group. I used to
- 8:48Speaker 1: be a priest years ago. I'm religious. I applaud anyone
- 8:52Speaker 1: who's religious until you get to a point where you
- 8:54Speaker 1: impose your values on everybody else around you. And by
- 8:57Speaker 1: the way, I feel the same way with Catholic group,
- 9:00Speaker 1: Protestant groups, anyone live and not live in America. All right,
- 9:04Speaker 1: when you come here, you should become part of this
- 9:07Speaker 1: fabric and this society. So you want to practice your faith,
- 9:11Speaker 1: God bless you, Yes you should. You want to take
- 9:14Speaker 1: over six thousand acres of land and make it exclusively
- 9:19Speaker 1: something for Muslims and have the call to prayer echoed
- 9:23Speaker 1: in the skies for people to hear thousands of miles around.
- 9:26Speaker 1: When this is, let's just face it, it was founded
- 9:30Speaker 1: by Christians with a Christian ideal. All right, now, you
- 9:33Speaker 1: say ken separation of church and state, you cannot remove
- 9:37Speaker 1: the reality of the fact that this was a Yes,
- 9:41Speaker 1: you could say Judeo Christian because by virtue of the
- 9:43Speaker 1: word Christian, Christian is Judeo Christian because Christianity was set
- 9:47Speaker 1: up on the basis of Judaism. For those who don't
- 9:50Speaker 1: know that, go back and go back to Catholic school.
- 9:52Speaker 1: All my like Italian American Catholic friends who know nothing
- 9:55Speaker 1: about their faith because they didn't pay attention growing up,
- 9:58Speaker 1: go back and read you couldn't be Christian and if
- 10:00Speaker 1: you didn't have Judaism, you couldn't be Catholic. If you
- 10:02Speaker 1: weren't Christian, you got to figure it out. Figure it out.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Do the thinking. Please. It drives me nuts when people say, oh,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I'm a cathlic I don't know, but them Jews. Yeah,
- 10:12Speaker 1: you couldn't be Catholic if there wasn't Jews. If there
- 10:14Speaker 1: weren't Jews, it's part of the religion. Okay, figure it out.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry to sound if it sounds condescending. I don't
- 10:20Speaker 1: mean to, but it just I'm so fed up at
- 10:22Speaker 1: this point for people who don't realize that we come
- 10:24Speaker 1: out of Judaism that it's like, how do you not
- 10:26Speaker 1: know this? At this point, Judaism is the mother religion
- 10:28Speaker 1: of even Islam ostensibly, but when you look at folks
- 10:36Speaker 1: coming over whenever you have groups of people coming over
- 10:39Speaker 1: en Moss, instead of integrating, instead of becoming part of
- 10:43Speaker 1: the fabric, what ends up happening is they kind of
- 10:45Speaker 1: create a bubble and isolated bubble, and they try to
- 10:49Speaker 1: change the area around them to be them as opposed
- 10:53Speaker 1: to them integrating into society around them.
- 10:56Speaker 2: And this is the.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Case when you have all the Muslims coming into Central Texas,
- 11:00Speaker 1: all living in the same area, all going to their
- 11:04Speaker 1: giant mosque that they're building. Now they're building an Islamic
- 11:07Speaker 1: center in Central Texas. It's going to be one of
- 11:08Speaker 1: the biggest in the country, and what ends up happening
- 11:11Speaker 1: is then they run for elective office and it becomes
- 11:14Speaker 1: an all Islamic state within a state. Did the same
- 11:17Speaker 1: thing in Dearborn, Michigan. They're doing the same thing in
- 11:21Speaker 1: parts of northern New Jersey where you go into parts
- 11:24Speaker 1: of like Passaic and Patterson, in the areas where you say, okay,
- 11:27Speaker 1: are we still in the United States. That doesn't mean
- 11:30Speaker 1: we don't love you and don't welcome Muslim America. I
- 11:33Speaker 1: have lots of friends. I have a friend who's in
- 11:34Speaker 1: his mom We have lots of friends who are Muslim.
- 11:37Speaker 1: God bless you, and I love you. I don't care.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I'm not anti Islam at all. I am anti converting
- 11:44Speaker 1: the world. You will do you and let me do me,
- 11:49Speaker 1: and we love and respect each other for our differences.
- 11:52Speaker 1: But when you get to a point where you say,
- 11:54Speaker 1: you know, Ken, we need to talk and if you
- 11:57Speaker 1: don't want to do it our way, then we got
- 11:59Speaker 1: a problem. Eh, that's when you cross the line.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Can we don't do that? Yeah, go back over the
- 12:05Speaker 2: last fifteen hundred years.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Yeah you kind of do. Yeah, you kind of do.
- 12:08Speaker 1: It's happened in every country. I mean, look, what's happening
- 12:10Speaker 1: right now in say you to Spain, this is what
- 12:12Speaker 1: you've done, and people saying, ken, that was just one
- 12:15Speaker 1: case of a bunch of migrants trying to get into
- 12:18Speaker 1: a place to live a better life. Really, really, they're
- 12:21Speaker 1: surrounded by twenty Muslim countries, and yet you had eighty
- 12:26Speaker 1: thousand young military age men, not women, not children, just
- 12:31Speaker 1: twenty something year old military age men all invading little
- 12:35Speaker 1: city state that has for fifteen hundred years been part
- 12:39Speaker 1: of Spain. And you're all Muslim and they're a tiny
- 12:44Speaker 1: group of By the way, Muslims and Christians who live
- 12:48Speaker 1: in say there are plenty of Muslims there. They do
- 12:50Speaker 1: live and let live. It's fine.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Just like in Israel.
- 12:54Speaker 1: You have hundreds of thousands of Arabs who live in Israel,
- 12:58Speaker 1: who are you know, on their esse it and they're
- 13:01Speaker 1: allowed to live in a live they can live. It's
- 13:03Speaker 1: when the Arabs come in from the outside and say no,
- 13:05Speaker 1: now we will conquer you and you have to do
- 13:07Speaker 1: it our way, and we're taking over Jerusalem. That's when
- 13:10Speaker 1: you have a problem. And the same thing in Sayouta,
- 13:14Speaker 1: when you have eighty thousand people suddenly come in and say, oh,
- 13:17Speaker 1: we're going to take over. Well, that's when Spain has
- 13:19Speaker 1: to send in the military and say no. And by
- 13:21Speaker 1: the way, Morocco has done this to Spanish territories that
- 13:26Speaker 1: they've had for a thousand years. In northern Africa, it's
- 13:30Speaker 1: been part of Spain, and one after another you've had
- 13:34Speaker 1: little city states within that have fallen to Morocco. Morocco
- 13:38Speaker 1: decides one day to call out the military and take over,
- 13:42Speaker 1: and guess what, within a couple of months it's theirs.
- 13:45Speaker 1: And Spain has just clapped their hands and said, okay,
- 13:47Speaker 1: that's another one. We just lost to Morocco because they
- 13:50Speaker 1: don't want to repeat of what happened fifteen hundred years
- 13:53Speaker 1: ago and a thousand years ago. For those that don't
- 13:56Speaker 1: know their geographical history, Spain, Portugal, parts of southern Italy,
- 14:02Speaker 1: you know in Sicily and Naples. You know, you Cciaiani
- 14:06Speaker 1: and Napolitani. You know that you were all at one
- 14:09Speaker 1: point controlled by Spain, and prior to that you were,
- 14:13Speaker 1: oh actually at the time you were controlled by Morocco,
- 14:16Speaker 1: and most of the people there, your ancestors were Muslims.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I don't know if you know that, not me, Risotto,
- 14:22Speaker 1: watch your mouth, yeah, yeah, that's that's a fact that
- 14:25Speaker 1: that all of southern Italy and Spain and Portugal and
- 14:29Speaker 1: even parts of southern France were actually all controlled by
- 14:33Speaker 1: the Moors as they were called the Moroccans. The Moors.
- 14:36Speaker 1: They were all Islamic, and there were the battles and
- 14:40Speaker 1: the crusades, and we fought and we got got it
- 14:43Speaker 1: back and made a Christian again. But that at one
- 14:45Speaker 1: point was all Muslim. And it looks like it's going
- 14:49Speaker 1: right back the way it was. The pendulum is swinging
- 14:52Speaker 1: right back. Because whenever there is a void something and
- 14:57Speaker 1: someone will fill that void, what happens through history and
- 15:01Speaker 1: right now the void is Christianity going away. It's religion
- 15:06Speaker 1: because Christians, Eh, they're not interested anymore. They got liberal
- 15:11Speaker 1: and they decided we don't need to go to church.
- 15:13Speaker 1: And eh, I'm spiritual, not religious. I'm spiritual. I just
- 15:18Speaker 1: think we all do good and we believe in God
- 15:20Speaker 1: and we'll just be fine. The problem is other people
- 15:23Speaker 1: don't think that liberally about it. You have serious, hardcore
- 15:28Speaker 1: conservative religious people, whether they be Islamic or even certain
- 15:32Speaker 1: hardcore Christian groups, Orthodox severe or I'm talking about you know,
- 15:37Speaker 1: and boy, this sounds pejorative. I don't mean it this way,
- 15:41Speaker 1: but you have some significant Orthodox Judaism who it's all
- 15:48Speaker 1: about taking over an area and converting everybody. You know,
- 15:50Speaker 1: Jews don't convert. They don't usually it's usually what you're
- 15:53Speaker 1: born into. But in the case of Islam, and like
- 15:56Speaker 1: in case of I know friends who are Mormon, friends
- 15:59Speaker 1: who are Jehovahs.
- 16:00Speaker 2: It's about getting everybody else to be part of your group.
- 16:03Speaker 1: It's evangelizing. And they'll say, but it's biblical can to evangelize. Yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 1: But in modern America we don't push like that. That's
- 16:11Speaker 1: not the way it works here. Maybe in other places
- 16:13Speaker 1: it does. But the point is because of the vacuum
- 16:17Speaker 1: in religion in Europe right now, you see Europe literally
- 16:21Speaker 1: falling before our eyes and turning back into a Muslim state.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Both for right now it's people moving in from Muslim countries,
- 16:31Speaker 1: but eventually it'll be people being converted sort of by force.
- 16:34Speaker 1: It'll be the popular thing to be Muslim. If you
- 16:38Speaker 1: want to be in business in certain Spanish cities, you
- 16:41Speaker 1: better be Muslim, or else you're not gonna You're not
- 16:44Speaker 1: gonna be on the board of this and the board
- 16:45Speaker 1: of that. That's sort of what's gonna happen little by little,
- 16:48Speaker 1: and you'll have people initially I'm just Muslim because that's
- 16:51Speaker 1: how we get along, and I go to mosque every
- 16:53Speaker 1: now and then to be seen and blah blah blah.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Before you know it, it's going to be generation after
- 16:57Speaker 1: generation and you will see Europe convert again. This is
- 17:00Speaker 1: what is happening before our eyes. And it all stems
- 17:03Speaker 1: with I'm really not religious. I'm just I'm spiritual. I'm living,
- 17:08Speaker 1: Let live. We don't really belong to a faith. That's
- 17:11Speaker 1: where it starts. Now. Am I saying that the only
- 17:13Speaker 1: solution is we all have to become diehard whatever picture
- 17:16Speaker 1: Christian religion maybe, or pickure Jewish your section of Judaism maybe.
- 17:25Speaker 1: But what I am saying is, at the very least,
- 17:27Speaker 1: if you're going to not be religious, just beware that
- 17:30Speaker 1: somebody else will be. Seven ten WR The Voice of
- 17:34Speaker 1: New York. It's Ken Risotto win for Mark on a Friday.
