- 3:32Speaker 1: this worship. Look, I'm gonna try. I want to complain
- 3:38Speaker 1: so much about this show and why we are on
- 3:41Speaker 1: episode fourteen when they are just was this episode fifteen? Yes,
- 3:46Speaker 1: this was episode fifteen. Why we are on episode fifteen?
- 3:50Speaker 1: Just regurgitating the same Christine and Cody wedding story, the
- 3:57Speaker 1: same picture of Janelle in that bed blue dress, the
- 4:01Speaker 1: same shit, over and over and over again. These producers
- 4:06Speaker 1: have the audacity, uh huh bea.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Dressed well and then next week in the preview, Christine
- 4:12Speaker 2: and David are gonna get married in two days. That
- 4:14Speaker 2: shit is from the wedding special.
- 4:16Speaker 1: We already saw.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I literally seen it.
- 4:19Speaker 1: It's like this movie with Will Smith and they're like
- 4:22Speaker 1: science fiction people and men in black. Yeah, and they
- 4:25Speaker 1: wave that thing in front of your face so you forget.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It's like the producers are waving that in front of
- 4:30Speaker 1: our face. Yeah, so that we forget that we already
- 4:33Speaker 1: fucking saw this, bitch.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yes, we already saw it. We've seen so much of
- 4:37Speaker 2: this already, but we still watch every week. So they're like, yeah, what,
- 4:41Speaker 2: all these people must love it, so let's keep doing
- 4:43Speaker 2: the same bullshit.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I know, we're just we're perpetuating the problem. Yeah, unapologetically. Sorry,
- 4:48Speaker 1: by the way, I'm not sorry, well I mean sorry,
- 4:50Speaker 1: not sorry, yeah, exactly, but it just makes me mad,
- 4:53Speaker 1: and I know that I constantly say these things. I
- 4:57Speaker 1: just cannot help myself.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I mean, it's just so much. With the wedding special
- 5:00Speaker 2: next week, I swear it's gonna be the same.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I think they're gonna take us through the wedding.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I think they are.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I think they're going to take us through the wedding
- 5:07Speaker 1: in a normal episode, probably spread it over two or
- 5:10Speaker 1: three episodes, totally, as if we haven't seen it all.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe that's part of the season. Is those two
- 5:14Speaker 2: wedding specials.
- 5:15Speaker 1: What is the definition of insanity again? It's doing the
- 5:18Speaker 1: same thing over and over and over again and expecting
- 5:23Speaker 1: a different result. I suppose we are insane? Are we
- 5:26Speaker 1: keep watching this shit? Yeah?
- 5:27Speaker 2: But they also have to have enough content for season twenty,
- 5:30Speaker 2: so all of the stuff that's happened this year will
- 5:31Speaker 2: probably be in season twenty.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Okay, anyway, that's my primary gripe. Let's get into it
- 5:39Speaker 1: all right.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Well, we start off strong with the haunted B and
- 5:43Speaker 2: B and Mary yeah, and her weird friends. I wrote
- 5:46Speaker 2: their names down, Lisa and Amber Yeah. I guess Lisa
- 5:50Speaker 2: used to be her babysitter or something, and Amber hers
- 5:53Speaker 2: is her daughter. And again they're just talking shit about Cody.
- 5:56Speaker 2: They start off with dismembering, dismembering disassembling the little metal
- 6:02Speaker 2: sign that they had.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah, apparently Mary got a metal sign for her mom,
- 6:06Speaker 1: and she put all of like the I guess distance
- 6:10Speaker 1: away from the various members of her family so she
- 6:13Speaker 1: would know which way to go to get to her family,
- 6:15Speaker 1: which was really sweet, very cute. And one of those
- 6:18Speaker 1: things was three hundred miles to Cody and Mary and flagstaffs.
- 6:23Speaker 1: And so they want to dismantle that, ye, throw it away,
- 6:26Speaker 1: and they do.
- 6:26Speaker 2: They take it off the sign, and then they break
- 6:29Speaker 2: it in half, and then they start talking shit and
- 6:31Speaker 2: they kind of get into the legal divorce that happened
- 6:34Speaker 2: between Mary and Cody, which I thought was kind of
- 6:36Speaker 2: juicy because I think Mary said something to the effect
- 6:41Speaker 2: of like, oh, well, I've kind of already been going
- 6:43Speaker 2: through like a really long divorce ever since my first one,
- 6:48Speaker 2: Like the legal divorce. I think she said it was
- 6:50Speaker 2: a last week or the week before. I'm the only
- 6:54Speaker 2: person I know that has been married once but divorced twice, right, Yikes.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I found this to be certainly interesting because we're
- 7:03Speaker 1: finally getting a Mary who is calling consistently calling out
- 7:08Speaker 1: the things that we've known this entire time. And I
- 7:11Speaker 1: love how she's putting Cody on blast, like, yeah, we
- 7:15Speaker 1: signed the papers. He was around for maybe a month.
- 7:19Speaker 1: He was present, although not sexually present, because she continues
- 7:22Speaker 1: to tell us episode to episode that they haven't had
- 7:25Speaker 1: sex in years, So but he's hanging around, he's showing up.
- 7:29Speaker 1: They're probably spending time. He says. He took her to
- 7:32Speaker 1: dinner the night that she signed those divorce papers. Probably
- 7:35Speaker 1: made love. I probably Mary knows. Mary would have remembered
- 7:40Speaker 1: if you banged her, because it had been years up
- 7:42Speaker 1: until that point, so you didn't bang her, so you're
- 7:45Speaker 1: lying again. And then after thirty days he couldn't maintain
- 7:48Speaker 1: the facade and just went away forever.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah, and she said, like six months after the legal divorce,
- 7:54Speaker 2: their relationship is like completely nonexistent at that point. So
- 7:57Speaker 2: maybe he was coming around like spraad or like once
- 8:00Speaker 2: a month or whatever to maintain something, but then he
- 8:03Speaker 2: was like over it. But I also thought it was
- 8:05Speaker 2: weird because Mary's talking about this legal divorce and she's like, well,
- 8:08Speaker 2: it was really emotional for me because you know, I
- 8:11Speaker 2: was really sad about this. We weren't in like the
- 8:13Speaker 2: best place in our marriage, and I didn't feel emotionally supported,
- 8:17Speaker 2: but at the same time, me and Cody were talking
- 8:19Speaker 2: about the legal divorce for several years prior to that.
- 8:23Speaker 2: I'm like, huh, and then we just like gloss over it.
- 8:25Speaker 2: We don't even like elaborate. I'm like, what do you
- 8:27Speaker 2: mean you were talking about the legal divorce, because the
- 8:30Speaker 2: way it was filmed and portrayed in the show was
- 8:34Speaker 2: that this whole point of this was to have Cody
- 8:37Speaker 2: adopt Robin's kids and everything. So why were you guys
- 8:40Speaker 2: talking about it for you?
- 8:41Speaker 1: Well, they were doing that because, as Christine says in
- 8:45Speaker 1: some sort of a talking head, I think during this
- 8:47Speaker 1: whole thing, she says, yeah, Robin was actually mentioning it
- 8:51Speaker 1: like when she first came into the family, like that
- 8:53Speaker 1: it is customary for husbands to divorce their legal wives
- 8:58Speaker 1: in order to marry the second and her third or
- 9:00Speaker 1: fourth wife in order to adopt those kids. These are
- 9:03Speaker 1: little hints that she had actually been dropping four years.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And then Robin, of course, we get the talking head
- 9:09Speaker 1: of her saying, ab absolutely not. I mean, that wouldn't
- 9:11Speaker 1: have even occurred to me. I don't even know of
- 9:14Speaker 1: any polygamist families with second wives that had adopted kids. Lies.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, lies. She even said something to the effect of, like,
- 9:23Speaker 2: I've never wanted to be legally married to Cody. I
- 9:26Speaker 2: was actually perfectly content with my spiritual marriage because I
- 9:29Speaker 2: was so traumatized from my first marriage that I didn't
- 9:32Speaker 2: want a legal marriage, like, okay, but then you had
- 9:35Speaker 2: a big old wedding for.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Shut the fuck up. She's just such a terrible liar.
- 9:41Speaker 1: It's really it's not just that she's lying. She's so
- 9:46Speaker 1: offensive about it because in doing so, you're literally negating
- 9:50Speaker 1: Mary's experience. And I think behind the scenes, Mary had
- 9:54Speaker 1: been hounded by Cody, who was Robin's proxy, to get
- 9:59Speaker 1: that legal divorce. I don't think Mary wanted to do that.
- 10:01Speaker 1: I think they could all conceive of a world where Brianna,
- 10:05Speaker 1: Dayton and Aurora were still very much Cody's children without
- 10:09Speaker 1: having the adoption go through, like you could still get
- 10:13Speaker 1: all the benefits, you would still be considered part of
- 10:16Speaker 1: the family. But no, that wasn't good enough. Robin wanted
- 10:19Speaker 1: the adoption to go through, and in doing so, through
- 10:22Speaker 1: away David Jessup and all of his rights and turned
- 10:25Speaker 1: definitely alienated, turned those kids against their biological father. Sure,
- 10:30Speaker 1: Robin nobody believes you, and it's just so fucking offensive.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Because at the time that this happened, Janelle had a
- 10:37Speaker 1: problem with it. I don't know if Christine had a
- 10:39Speaker 1: problem with it or not. Mary does say something interesting
- 10:44Speaker 1: that she didn't get support from other members in the
- 10:47Speaker 1: family yeah, at the time, and that there was just
- 10:50Speaker 1: some people who weren't approving it.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Sounded like, yeah, she said she felt pressure to feel
- 10:55Speaker 2: a certain way about the divorce from like Cody specifically
- 10:58Speaker 2: because he was not a at all. But she's like
- 11:01Speaker 2: literally crying as she's signing away, you know, their divorce
- 11:04Speaker 2: or liver and her life essentially. But she said she
- 11:07Speaker 2: also felt pressure from other members of the family to
- 11:10Speaker 2: kind of like get over it because Mary and Janelle,
- 11:13Speaker 2: I think she's alluding to them, they didn't have a
- 11:16Speaker 2: legal marriage. They were just like Christie fine or sorry. Yeah,
- 11:20Speaker 2: Christine and Janelle, they didn't have a legal marriage, so
- 11:22Speaker 2: like just get over it, like you still have the
- 11:24Speaker 2: spiritual marriage, Like this is what our faith is all
- 11:26Speaker 2: about anyway, So like that's probably what Mary was.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it was probably more Christine, honestly, because
- 11:33Speaker 1: Christine didn't give a fuck about Mary and it was
- 11:37Speaker 1: Janelle that was the most concerned that the culture of
- 11:39Speaker 1: the family was going to change with the shifting of
- 11:42Speaker 1: the legal wife.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:43Speaker 1: But I was just wondering to myself as I was
- 11:45Speaker 1: watching this thoroughly boring episode, like, what would have happened
- 11:49Speaker 1: if Mary said, no, right, I am not willing to
- 11:52Speaker 1: divorce you in order to have you adopt these kids?
- 11:54Speaker 1: Absolutely not, and then Cody compelled the divorce, and then
- 11:59Speaker 1: she could have said, Okay, well, we've been married for
- 12:01Speaker 1: twenty five years and now we live in a cul
- 12:03Speaker 1: de sac and you have ownership in all four homes,
- 12:06Speaker 1: and we have this money in the LLC. I'm your
- 12:08Speaker 1: legal wife. I get half Ooh shit. What would have
- 12:12Speaker 1: happened if she actually exercised her right, says the legal wife.
- 12:16Speaker 1: But in order for Cody to walk away at Cody
- 12:19Speaker 1: and Robin to walk away with everything that they have now,
- 12:23Speaker 1: they needed to bamboozle Mary. So Mary was a moron
- 12:26Speaker 1: and a mark yep, And she brought it on herself
- 12:28Speaker 1: and she should have been smarter. And I know she
- 12:30Speaker 1: was a victim in it, But at the same time,
- 12:34Speaker 1: how much of a victim were you that man melted
- 12:36Speaker 1: down your ring that man hasn't put his penis in
- 12:39Speaker 1: your virgime for many, many years. He doesn't come to
- 12:42Speaker 1: your house, even though you have five bedrooms in the
- 12:45Speaker 1: cul de sac. He doesn't want even one of those bedrooms.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Bit the writing is on the wall, m h. And
- 12:51Speaker 1: so you have to take responsibility for that for sure.
- 12:54Speaker 2: But I mean Christine even talked about it. She's like,
- 12:56Speaker 2: I don't even think Mary ever thought about the divorce
- 12:59Speaker 2: like a plant by Robin or like that there was
- 13:02Speaker 2: an ulterior motive on Cody's part or anything like Christine.
- 13:06Speaker 2: I think said Mary. It was all Mary's ideas. Like
- 13:09Speaker 2: Mary is kind of an easily coerced person. It seems
- 13:12Speaker 2: like I feel like Robin totally latched onto her from
- 13:16Speaker 2: the get go. She's like, Yeah, we're gonna be BFFs.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna manipulate the fuck out of you into doing
- 13:21Speaker 2: everything that I can't, everything I want, so that it'll
- 13:25Speaker 2: work out. Because it wouldn't never ever worked that way
- 13:27Speaker 2: with Christine, it would never have worked that way with Janelle.
- 13:30Speaker 2: They're too strong headed and not saying like Mary isn't strong.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Her strong Yeah, but I think Mary was so in
- 13:37Speaker 1: love And I also think that Mary was faithful to
- 13:40Speaker 1: her religion, yes, and so she was sidling up to
- 13:43Speaker 1: the power in the family. So she was sidling up
- 13:46Speaker 1: to Robin. She was wanting to believe that Robin was
- 13:50Speaker 1: her real friend. But then of course Flagstaff happens and
- 13:54Speaker 1: COVID happens. Yeah, and she sees that Robin doesn't actually
- 13:58Speaker 1: care about her at all, And it's really sad.
- 14:00Speaker 2: It is very same.
- 14:01Speaker 1: But I mean, I feel like, I mean, how did
- 14:04Speaker 1: she not know that when it was happening. How do
- 14:06Speaker 1: you not see that when it's happening. And then there's
- 14:09Speaker 1: all the rumors around the fact that Robin actually played
- 14:13Speaker 1: a part in the catfish, Like Robin knew that Mary
- 14:17Speaker 1: was being catfished by a woman and she had her
- 14:21Speaker 1: friend was a Kendra. I think her friend's name was Kendra.
- 14:25Speaker 1: This is all Reddit lower. I'm not saying this is factual,
- 14:27Speaker 1: but this I think I believe. I think Robin and
- 14:30Speaker 1: Cody knew that Mary was messing around with somebody who
- 14:34Speaker 1: was catfishing her, and I think they wanted to use
- 14:38Speaker 1: that somehow leverage that against Mary going forward. And so
- 14:43Speaker 1: once Mary's found out and she wants to stay in
- 14:45Speaker 1: the family, and now she's continuing to pour money into
- 14:47Speaker 1: the family because she feels such shame and such guilt.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I feel that Robin did have a part in it,
- 14:54Speaker 1: do you, I.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Mean totally yeah, I could totally see that. And I
- 14:58Speaker 2: mean on Robin and Cody's part with Mary, I feel
- 15:01Speaker 2: like it's so abusive because I think all they did
- 15:03Speaker 2: was just manipulate the fuck out of her, like dismiss
- 15:06Speaker 2: all of her feelings. Like with the whole legal divorce,
- 15:08Speaker 2: you see all these flashbacks of Mary crying as she's
- 15:11Speaker 2: signing the paperwork and everything, and how like distraught she was,
- 15:14Speaker 2: and in her talking head now she's like, yeah, looking back,
- 15:17Speaker 2: like I was really struggling with where we were in
- 15:19Speaker 2: our marriage because we were really not in a good place,
- 15:22Speaker 2: like we were intimate, we weren't together really, and then
- 15:25Speaker 2: we're getting this legal divorce but then having to like
- 15:27Speaker 2: reconcile that with like, no, we still have our spiritual
- 15:30Speaker 2: marriage blah blah blah, Like Cody and Robin were in
- 15:32Speaker 2: her ear being like no, no, no, it's fine, Like
- 15:35Speaker 2: don't even worry, stop crying, like we're totally cool, Like
- 15:39Speaker 2: just telling her a lie after lie after lie after lie,
- 15:43Speaker 2: and when you are told that enough, like you start
- 15:46Speaker 2: believing it because what else are you gonna do? Like
- 15:48Speaker 2: you're stuck in this family. Then you have the catfishing
- 15:51Speaker 2: eight months later, and Mary talks about that this episode.
- 15:54Speaker 2: She's like, yeah, I mean that didn't even start until
- 15:56Speaker 2: after the legal divorce, when our marriage was completely non existent.
- 16:01Speaker 2: And then Cody and his talking head in the next episode,
- 16:05Speaker 2: he's gonna be like, well, I was deeply offended.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Why you know, Okay, were you.
- 16:09Speaker 2: That's where it's like it's abusive to me because I'm like,
- 16:12Speaker 2: if if Cody and Robin really did have a part
- 16:14Speaker 2: in this whole catfishing thing, and then you want to
- 16:16Speaker 2: cry about being offended after you already legally divorced. Mary
- 16:20Speaker 2: melted down, her ringed it all.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Only showed up for thirty days after the legal divorce
- 16:25Speaker 1: and then pieced out became invisible.
- 16:28Speaker 2: They're so evil.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Yeah, they're evil. They're just they're they're bad people, and
- 16:32Speaker 1: they definitely played the long con and they definitely profited
- 16:37Speaker 1: it from it. Yeah, though, it's just it cannot be sustainable,
- 16:41Speaker 1: which is why to me, the whole Christine lawsuit is
- 16:45Speaker 1: so so interesting because I think it was just designated
- 16:49Speaker 1: recently within the last couple of weeks as a serious
- 16:51Speaker 1: custody issue. I think that's probably a common legal designation.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I don't know, but I think Christine will absolutely get
- 17:01Speaker 1: into those books and see what the hell he was
- 17:03Speaker 1: doing with the LLC and how he was enriching himself
- 17:07Speaker 1: because she has a claim to that money. Well, maybe
- 17:11Speaker 1: she doesn't have a claim that can succeed for her
- 17:15Speaker 1: portion of that money, but she can find out precisely
- 17:18Speaker 1: what it was and then she can get an accurate
- 17:20Speaker 1: child support settlement. But is there a world where those
- 17:24Speaker 1: documents can then be made public and or she can
- 17:27Speaker 1: release them. I don't know. I just want to see
- 17:30Speaker 1: I want to see the books, which is why this
- 17:31Speaker 1: is such an interesting lawsuit. And then again we have
- 17:35Speaker 1: Mary and Janelle talking about a project that they're involved
- 17:39Speaker 1: in together currently and both of them foreshadowing their willingness
- 17:44Speaker 1: to get a lawyer. Janelle at this point I think
- 17:46Speaker 1: already has Yeah, so was there some sort of a
- 17:49Speaker 1: settlement negotiation? Are we going to talk about that? These assholes?
- 17:54Speaker 1: I cannot walk away? No, the two point one million
- 17:57Speaker 1: dollar home trust, all of Robin's kids with cars. Remember
- 18:02Speaker 1: when Cody was talking about how he has to pay
- 18:04Speaker 1: for everybody's Yes, he's just talking about them. Yes, he
- 18:06Speaker 1: didn't pay for Garrison's car. Garrison bought his own vehicle
- 18:10Speaker 1: and was really proud of it. He didn't pay for
- 18:12Speaker 1: Gabes or any of Christine's kids cars. He didn't even
- 18:16Speaker 1: pay for Isabelle's. I'm going crazy. I know he didn't
- 18:18Speaker 1: even pay for Isabelle's surgery. No, he's talking about his
- 18:20Speaker 1: own family and enriching himself. It's all in his name
- 18:23Speaker 1: and Robin's as well. I hate them.
- 18:25Speaker 2: It's so gross.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I hate them.
- 18:26Speaker 2: And maybe that's why Cody says like he was never
- 18:29Speaker 2: in love with any of the OG three, because maybe
- 18:31Speaker 2: the day he met Robin was the day in his
- 18:33Speaker 2: mind he's like, oh, I'm fucking done yeah with this family.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Because I've said this before on the podcast, like Cody's
- 18:38Speaker 2: got this like total divorced dad energy, Like once you
- 18:42Speaker 2: leave your family and your wives and your kids and everything,
- 18:45Speaker 2: you're just fucking over it. And like sometimes people can
- 18:48Speaker 2: co parent really well. Sometimes divorce situations work really well,
- 18:52Speaker 2: but a lot of the times the dads just fucking
- 18:54Speaker 2: go and remarry and then they have their new family,
- 18:57Speaker 2: and I just forget about the kids, forget about the
- 19:00Speaker 2: og kid.
- 19:01Speaker 1: It's like, it's crazy old to me. That happened to me. Yeah,
- 19:04Speaker 1: happened to your wife, yep.
- 19:05Speaker 2: And I was shocked it happened to me too.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I thought I married somebody who was such a good person, yes,
- 19:11Speaker 1: so responsible, would never be a dad like that. And
- 19:15Speaker 1: then here we are, here we are I'm just like Jesus.
- 19:18Speaker 1: But the fact of the matter is is he wasn't
- 19:20Speaker 1: divorced from Christine Mary Rginelle. Yeah, and he was already
- 19:25Speaker 1: over it. He was already estranging himself from all of
- 19:28Speaker 1: these people.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Yeah, probably because he I'm giving him so much grace here,
- 19:32Speaker 2: but I'm not trying to like advocate for him. But
- 19:34Speaker 2: like maybe he just was kind of still entrenched in
- 19:37Speaker 2: his faith and he was trying to deal with like fuck,
- 19:39Speaker 2: like I just meant the love of my life, but
- 19:41Speaker 2: I still have this polygamous family, Like I still have
- 19:43Speaker 2: to keep this up. And he tried, but then he failed,
- 19:47Speaker 2: like miserably. He even says that in this episode, he's like, yeah,
- 19:49Speaker 2: I've made a lot of mistakes and I pushed polygamy
- 19:52Speaker 2: so hard, and my fundy beliefs and everything, and then
- 19:55Speaker 2: I failed miserably. So he admits it, yeah, but not
- 19:58Speaker 2: really going into any of this specific like that.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Doesn't take away his responsibility to his minor children. At
- 20:04Speaker 1: the time we had Savannah who was under the age
- 20:07Speaker 1: of eighteen, we have truly, Yeah, and he doesn't give
- 20:10Speaker 1: a shit about them. So he just walked away from babies. Yeah,
- 20:15Speaker 1: I mean I understand maybe not being in love with
- 20:17Speaker 1: the women anymore, but walking away from your babies. I mean,
- 20:21Speaker 1: I don't understand walking away from your adult children and
- 20:23Speaker 1: not talking to them and talking shit about them to
- 20:27Speaker 1: them and also on national television. But like walking away
- 20:29Speaker 1: from your babies, walking away from Savannah, I mean, the
- 20:33Speaker 1: sweetest little, cherubic, beautiful young lady who just wants to
- 20:37Speaker 1: be in your life. Yeah, I mean walking away from Isabelle.
- 20:41Speaker 1: I understand she was an adult, but like when she
- 20:44Speaker 1: was getting her surgery, I don't I think she was
- 20:46Speaker 1: still a seventeen I think she was still a minor
- 20:49Speaker 1: and he didn't give a fuck. He's man as a
- 20:53Speaker 1: terrible person, and the way that they're trying to now
- 20:56Speaker 1: frame it as it was Mary who is the one
- 20:59Speaker 1: who just out of the Blue one day, blind sided,
- 21:02Speaker 1: up challenged. Robin was blind sided by her suggesting that
- 21:07Speaker 1: she divorced Cody so that he can adopt those kids.
- 21:10Speaker 1: That's a fucking lie.
- 21:13Speaker 2: They're so manipulative, man like anything to change the narrative
- 21:18Speaker 2: to suit them, and they're stupid corrupt agenda. I was
- 21:22Speaker 2: gonna say something so mean, but yes, agenda.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:26Speaker 2: And then Mary also kind of talks about the the
- 21:29Speaker 2: B and B, and she talked about how when she
- 21:31Speaker 2: bought the BMB, everybody in the family thought that that
- 21:34Speaker 2: was her escape plan. She's like, no, it never was.
- 21:37Speaker 2: It was just for money, which I'm just like, maybe
- 21:40Speaker 2: it was a little bit of an escape plan. I mean,
- 21:42Speaker 2: I'm good, you have a whole house now you live
- 21:44Speaker 2: there and you're having this housewarming party and stuff, so like, yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 2: it kind of was your escape plan. But Mary references
- 21:50Speaker 2: the legal divorce as Cody and Robin's escape plan, which
- 21:53Speaker 2: I thought was kind of interesting and true, very true.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Yeah, because if Cody actually committed him solved to Mary
- 22:01Speaker 1: and their spiritual union after the divorce, she would not
- 22:03Speaker 1: have left, Are you kidding me? I mean, for real,
- 22:06Speaker 1: it probably wouldn't have even needed to be a sexual relationship.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Just as long as he showed up, there was companionability.
- 22:13Speaker 1: He was a lot, yeah, yes, and he was present
- 22:15Speaker 1: and he understood what she was interested in. I think
- 22:17Speaker 1: she would have stayed forever, oh for sure. But he
- 22:19Speaker 1: couldn't do it, didn't want to do it.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah, And that's what's so weird to me, is like
- 22:23Speaker 2: she's talked about this whole legal divorce and like seeing
- 22:25Speaker 2: all of these signs and stuff, and I'm like, it
- 22:26Speaker 2: was there. And if you and Cody were talking about
- 22:29Speaker 2: the legal divorce together for years, like you had to
- 22:33Speaker 2: have known this was his whole motive, Like it wasn't
- 22:37Speaker 2: just about the kids, Like he was over you.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Even if you didn't know, No, you most certainly suspected.
- 22:43Speaker 1: And then we have the scene again with these two
- 22:45Speaker 1: random friends who are like, yeah, when this happened, I
- 22:48Speaker 1: absolutely worried about you. So you know, the friends were
- 22:50Speaker 1: also talking to Mary, and Mary was also sharing with
- 22:53Speaker 1: her friends at the time that this was going on.
- 22:55Speaker 1: You've got that chick Brandy in Las Vegas who's like, yeah,
- 22:58Speaker 1: I saw him favoring Robin. All of the friends saw it,
- 23:01Speaker 1: which means Mary also saw it. Yeah, which means they
- 23:04Speaker 1: were all talking about it. So Mary, this didn't like
- 23:06Speaker 1: come out of the blue for you. I get that
- 23:08Speaker 1: you were hopeful. I get that you probably regarded this
- 23:12Speaker 1: as some sort of an offering to Cody and to
- 23:15Speaker 1: the relationships, so maybe that would make it better, but
- 23:18Speaker 1: it didn't. And then eight months later you're catfished, and
- 23:21Speaker 1: everybody wants to go crazy about you being catfished, especially me,
- 23:25Speaker 1: because I just love that shit so much. But like,
- 23:27Speaker 1: I don't blame her at all. I wish Sam was real.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I wish he was a handsome man. I wish he
- 23:32Speaker 1: did steal her away from this fucking family.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Oh my god, it would have been so great.
- 23:36Speaker 1: That would have been great.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I can't wait to watch the catfishing episodes when we
- 23:41Speaker 2: do the rewinds, because I have to see, like, what
- 23:44Speaker 2: what was she been boozled by? Like the ninety fiance
- 23:47Speaker 2: people being like, yeah, this is like totally a real person.
- 23:49Speaker 2: We'd never skyped before, never seen each other, Like what
- 23:51Speaker 2: were you banboozled by?
- 23:54Speaker 1: They were talking on the phone, but this was woman,
- 23:57Speaker 1: this woman, I forget what her name was, and when
- 23:59Speaker 1: we get there, get there, but this woman was able
- 24:02Speaker 1: to sound like a dude I mean, I don't know.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I don't know how you do that. This woman actually
- 24:08Speaker 1: went to Disneyland with Mary as the best friend of
- 24:13Speaker 1: the person Mary thought she was in a relationship with Sam.
- 24:17Speaker 1: So Sam says, yeah, like, I can't go to Disneyland,
- 24:20Speaker 1: but my friend, whatever her name is, she can meet
- 24:22Speaker 1: you there. Maybe you can meet her and see what
- 24:24Speaker 1: that's like. And so the chick who's catfishing her actually
- 24:27Speaker 1: goes to Disneyland with Mary, and Mary Mary has no
- 24:30Speaker 1: idea that it's actually I did the woman. Yeah. So,
- 24:34Speaker 1: but all of this is found on the internet. Do
- 24:36Speaker 1: you think this is discussed on the Sister Wives program? No,
- 24:40Speaker 1: which it is not. So it's not like you're going
- 24:42Speaker 1: to find all of this out on the show. We're
- 24:44Speaker 1: going to have to go back into the archives and
- 24:47Speaker 1: to dig through the Kashik wreccoon records to find out
- 24:51Speaker 1: what happened. But it is wild. Wow. But I don't
- 24:53Speaker 1: blame her.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I mean no, I don't either.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I don't blame her. I don't either.
- 24:57Speaker 2: I want to cheat on his ass so much, dude,
- 24:59Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Kids, any takers get me out of his golf sack, please.
- 25:05Speaker 2: I wouldn't have stayed either though, No, that's me. And
- 25:08Speaker 2: then we have the very riveting segments of Robin and
- 25:12Speaker 2: her dour children.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Your vampire children, vampire children. They ascend out of their coffins, okay,
- 25:20Speaker 1: and they go out into the sunlight. I don't know
- 25:21Speaker 1: what sort of protective shields they have in order to
- 25:24Speaker 1: do that, and they walk very sombrely.
- 25:27Speaker 2: To the church, to this inter denominational a non denominational man.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I only to call it inter denominational because like Elim,
- 25:34Speaker 1: you could be welcome as long as you tithe. Yeah,
- 25:37Speaker 1: if you're tithing ten percent, you are welcome. You could
- 25:40Speaker 1: be Islamic, you could be atheist, you could be a
- 25:42Speaker 1: straight up Satan worshiper. Give us if you bring money,
- 25:46Speaker 1: and they sit down for the most awkward Jesus job
- 25:49Speaker 1: interview I've ever seen. What is this?
- 25:52Speaker 2: I don't know. And it's just a platform for Robin
- 25:54Speaker 2: to talk about how they were playing missed family and
- 25:57Speaker 2: are you gonna accept us? So I would make sure
- 25:59Speaker 2: you'll accept us even though we're not living. Pulling me
- 26:01Speaker 2: right now, yeah, even though we're totally monogamous.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and my husband doesn't want to, although she tells
- 26:07Speaker 1: us in her talking head. I would be open to it.
- 26:09Speaker 1: If I could get a guarantee yet, like a one
- 26:12Speaker 1: hundred percent guarantee and everything would be fantastic for me,
- 26:17Speaker 1: I'd be open to it.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 1: So, like that's not how life works, right. You realize
- 26:21Speaker 1: when even the best of marriages have issues, like you
- 26:24Speaker 1: gotta work through shit. There's gonna be problems, and if
- 26:27Speaker 1: you're going to bring another woman in, there's just gonna
- 26:29Speaker 1: be inherent, innate issues you're gonna have to overcome no
- 26:32Speaker 1: matter what. So all of this is just lip service
- 26:35Speaker 1: from a fucking dumb ass, cantalope headed goblin to make
- 26:39Speaker 1: us believe she's interested in the lifestyle. She's not. She's
- 26:42Speaker 1: interested in the money, yeah, and that's what she wants.
- 26:44Speaker 1: But she does cry though she also needs to film content,
- 26:48Speaker 1: yeah show because all of her lifestyle hinges on being
- 26:53Speaker 1: able to have this content. And it's so fucking boring.
- 26:55Speaker 2: It is so boring. And if I have to hear
- 26:58Speaker 2: her cry about her fake identity as a plugamist and
- 27:00Speaker 2: we have to see those fucking photos of her in
- 27:02Speaker 2: those prairie outfits one more time, I'm gonna freak out
- 27:06Speaker 2: because it's like so stupid and such a lie, and.
- 27:09Speaker 1: It's never her breakdancing. No, answered it right here. I
- 27:11Speaker 1: just that's all I want to see. Like, if we're
- 27:12Speaker 1: going to see past footage of Robin, yes, make it
- 27:16Speaker 1: be breakdancing that.
- 27:17Speaker 2: I mean she's got the moves she does.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I mean you cannot deny at one time. Oh magnet,
- 27:24Speaker 1: no wonder Cody was in the time. I'm working it
- 27:26Speaker 1: with the magical hips. Yeah. I hated this scene. I
- 27:31Speaker 1: hated these weird ass non denominational pastor and wife. She
- 27:35Speaker 1: got her done for this, and she got her makeup
- 27:38Speaker 1: done and he's your typical like middle age get frosted tips,
- 27:43Speaker 1: just feeling himself past her.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Yeah, totally gay frosted tips.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Girl. They're so excited to be on television because they're
- 27:52Speaker 1: hoping that this is an avenue towards more.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Yeah, they're like, I want five hundred dollars please, thank you. Right,
- 27:58Speaker 2: that's what they get from TLC.
- 27:59Speaker 1: But kids, scars, why do you need Robin there to
- 28:02Speaker 1: interview a pastor? First of all, no, what he does that?
- 28:04Speaker 1: You just go to a service for real, You sit
- 28:06Speaker 1: through it and you ask yourself, did I like that?
- 28:09Speaker 1: And it's the answer is no, you don't go back
- 28:11Speaker 1: and you try something else exactly. But why are we
- 28:13Speaker 1: sitting down with these people and having a Jesus conversation?
- 28:16Speaker 2: I don't know. It made no sense. And then we
- 28:18Speaker 2: have them going to church the next day, but we
- 28:20Speaker 2: don't get to see them at church, and we don't
- 28:22Speaker 2: even know for sure if it's that church. No, it
- 28:24Speaker 2: could be a different church. Or they probably went to Starbucks.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and came back home and then had that conversation
- 28:30Speaker 1: with Cody. Yeah. And the expansive deck, beautiful deck with
- 28:34Speaker 1: that view, beautiful view. I mean that none of the
- 28:37Speaker 1: other family gets to enjoy, even though this home was
- 28:39Speaker 1: purchased for the entire family.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Uh huh o correct.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so they have a conversation, cries. Can we talk
- 28:49Speaker 1: about that? Yeah? Iyah. This is the evidence of the
- 28:55Speaker 1: emotional fucking entrainment that Robin has put these girls through. Now,
- 29:00Speaker 1: it's one thing to grow up and be like your mom.
- 29:03Speaker 1: I get it, we all are, and maybe they share sensitivities.
- 29:06Speaker 1: But that Aurora would cry on camera about that was
- 29:13Speaker 1: wild to.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Me, and in the same way that Robin cries too.
- 29:16Speaker 2: It was so scripted, and she's like crying about how
- 29:19Speaker 2: it was such a beautiful spiritual experience at this interdimensional
- 29:23Speaker 2: church that they went to. And Cody's like, oh, feel
- 29:26Speaker 2: so like, uh what does what did he even say?
- 29:29Speaker 2: He's just like, I just feel so great that my
- 29:31Speaker 2: kids feel so open to cry in front of me
- 29:34Speaker 2: and be vulnerable in front of me. It makes me
- 29:36Speaker 2: feel like a good dad or something like that.
- 29:38Speaker 1: And then he segues into and I feel bad about
- 29:41Speaker 1: the fact that I wasn't able to share these types
- 29:43Speaker 1: of conversations with my other children. But the fact of
- 29:47Speaker 1: the matter is is I only saw them one every
- 29:51Speaker 1: six days, and so it was only for a night,
- 29:53Speaker 1: and we couldn't really have these types of conversations versus
- 29:57Speaker 1: I'm here every single day and I know these kids,
- 30:00Speaker 1: and I'm like, yeah, well that's the issue. The issue
- 30:03Speaker 1: is that you never spent this kind of quality time
- 30:05Speaker 1: with your other children.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Yep.
- 30:07Speaker 1: And the reason you're enjoying this is because all of
- 30:10Speaker 1: these other kids are missing out and don't have a
- 30:12Speaker 1: dad anymore. So enjoy it, I guess while fucking Aurora
- 30:15Speaker 1: cries yeah, and Brianna sits there with her muppet frown
- 30:19Speaker 1: just like her bad.
- 30:21Speaker 2: It's so bad. It made me really angry because Cody's
- 30:24Speaker 2: talking about this, reflecting on how polygamy was probably harmful
- 30:28Speaker 2: to the relationships with his kids because he couldn't be
- 30:32Speaker 2: there all the time, and I'm here every day, and
- 30:34Speaker 2: so I get to have this beautiful experience with these kids.
- 30:36Speaker 2: I'm like, Man, if you were my dad, I would
- 30:38Speaker 2: have disowned you, like you would be no contact. I
- 30:41Speaker 2: would never see you, talk to you ever again, because
- 30:45Speaker 2: obviously you don't give a fuck no about any of us.
- 30:49Speaker 2: You only care about Robin's kids because you're there all
- 30:52Speaker 2: the time. You wouldn't even come over and hang out
- 30:55Speaker 2: with my mom and bang her once a week so
- 30:57Speaker 2: that way you could see us Like that was too
- 30:59Speaker 2: much for you, I guess.
- 31:01Speaker 1: And this taps into the primal rage that I have
- 31:05Speaker 1: about how deep this indoctrination went, not just with the adults,
- 31:10Speaker 1: but the indoctrination that they put these kids through. And
- 31:14Speaker 1: Cody in this moment has the epiphany and the clarity
- 31:17Speaker 1: to understand, oh, I was misguided, and he can tell,
- 31:20Speaker 1: and he also seems to exhibit a little bit of
- 31:23Speaker 1: regret for having put his kids through that as well.
- 31:26Speaker 1: But like, in knowing now what you have done to
- 31:29Speaker 1: these kids. The next thing to do after you have
- 31:32Speaker 1: your moment of clarity about how this was all fucked
- 31:35Speaker 1: up is to make amends and to take actions to
- 31:38Speaker 1: make it okay for them, and to have various deep
- 31:41Speaker 1: conversations with a variety of your children and talk to
- 31:44Speaker 1: them about your process, how you fucking deconstructed your religion
- 31:48Speaker 1: and help them to do the same. But no, now,
- 31:51Speaker 1: Cody just gets the benefit of his monogamous life. He
- 31:54Speaker 1: has the benefit of no longer necessarily being a believer,
- 31:57Speaker 1: and he feels so much liberation and freedom from that.
- 32:00Speaker 1: But his kids are left out to continue to struggle
- 32:03Speaker 1: without the guidance of the parent who have made that journey.
- 32:06Speaker 1: That pisses me off.
- 32:07Speaker 2: It's so bullshit much. It's aggravating as fuck, dude, just
- 32:12Speaker 2: to watch them. And I also watch them, and I'm like,
- 32:16Speaker 2: how happy can you guys all be? Really? I I
- 32:19Speaker 2: don't think, well, I think Cody's happy. I think Cody
- 32:23Speaker 2: is like delusionally happy. He's like, Yeah, I've got it,
- 32:25Speaker 2: I've got it made. I've got this beautiful has I've
- 32:27Speaker 2: got a beautiful, shy, pretty wife. I've got these kids
- 32:29Speaker 2: that love me and adore me and respect me, but
- 32:32Speaker 2: I feel like Robin and the rest of the kids
- 32:34Speaker 2: are just like I.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Think Robin is probably too self aware. I think she's
- 32:41Speaker 1: self aware enough to know that she can't appear too
- 32:43Speaker 1: happy on camera, and so she's very careful to seem unhappy, unsure, uncertain.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I wish I had my rocking chairs with my sister wives.
- 32:53Speaker 1: She says these things so that we believe that she's
- 32:56Speaker 1: not happy with the situation when the cameras are down, though, bitch,
- 32:59Speaker 1: I think she's very happy. But it begs the question,
- 33:03Speaker 1: why aren't the girls happy? And also, where's Dayton? Where's Dayton?
- 33:07Speaker 1: Where is I don't think he's happy.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I don't know if they're
- 33:11Speaker 2: that happy.
- 33:12Speaker 1: I don't think the kids are happy.
- 33:14Speaker 2: I don't know if Robin is either. I mean, how
- 33:16Speaker 2: can you be realistically happy Robin is super happy?
- 33:20Speaker 1: I don't know Cody's all she cares about his money.
- 33:23Speaker 1: All she cares about is security. All she cares about
- 33:25Speaker 1: his wealth. All she cares about is winning.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Well.
- 33:27Speaker 1: But if she's happy, if she's self aware.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Enough, though, she has to know, oh, all of our
- 33:32Speaker 2: income is gone now, like all of these wives are gone,
- 33:36Speaker 2: because in the previews, she's asking Cody again, are you
- 33:39Speaker 2: sure you and Chanelle are done? For sure? Like she
- 33:41Speaker 2: said it with her words that you guys are done
- 33:43Speaker 2: and she's never coming back. And Cody's like, yeah, who cares?
- 33:46Speaker 2: Will you accept me as a monogamous Like if Robin
- 33:48Speaker 2: only cares about money, and if she's self aware enough
- 33:51Speaker 2: about that, she knows that her husband hasn't worked in forever.
- 33:53Speaker 2: She's got no fucking job because she made that terrible
- 33:56Speaker 2: jewelry store that never came off or never popped off,
- 34:00Speaker 2: and then she has no money from the wives.
- 34:02Speaker 1: That's why she wants Janelle to stay. Yeah, I'm saying
- 34:04Speaker 1: it's not because she wants her vision of the wrap
- 34:08Speaker 1: around port in the rocking chairs. It's because Janelle could
- 34:10Speaker 1: contribute to the finances. And that's why she doesn't want
- 34:13Speaker 1: Cody to give up. It's not because of the polygamous dream.
- 34:16Speaker 1: It's because of the money dream, because that's what motivates her.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's why I'm like, I don't think you're
- 34:20Speaker 2: gonna be happy because now you have this two point
- 34:22Speaker 2: one million dollar house, how are you going to afford it?
- 34:24Speaker 1: Well, if they continue to be platformed by TLC on
- 34:29Speaker 1: Sister Wives, they will be able to continue to afford it.
- 34:31Speaker 2: I guess I don't know.
- 34:33Speaker 1: I would be so fucking worried. I'm not willing to
- 34:35Speaker 1: leave this Barnaby Jones nineteen seventies fucking house because it's affordable,
- 34:41Speaker 1: because I can do what the fuck I want and
- 34:43Speaker 1: I can live my life in a way that's very comfortable.
- 34:45Speaker 1: But if I leverage this house, got a big ass
- 34:48Speaker 1: fucking house, and I couldn't afford it, or I I
- 34:50Speaker 1: only had this much like flexibility, I would be terrified.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Yeah the time. So I don't know how she's not
- 34:59Speaker 1: terrified because this is it's all going to go away
- 35:00Speaker 1: within five years, oh for sure.
- 35:02Speaker 2: And I'm like, if Sister Wives ends and you guys
- 35:05Speaker 2: are in these lawsuits, like have fun, bitch, the smart
- 35:09Speaker 2: thing for her to do would be to divorce Cody
- 35:12Speaker 2: now and get money.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Yeah, because these aren't the only lawsuits that could happen. Now,
- 35:18Speaker 1: keep in mind, anybody can sue you for anything. Doesn't
- 35:21Speaker 1: mean they have a case, it doesn't mean they're going
- 35:24Speaker 1: to prevail, but they could sue you for anything. Sure,
- 35:26Speaker 1: And so Janelle and Mary could take Cody to court
- 35:30Speaker 1: for their fair share of the property, and the LLC.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Who knows what that would be about. I do believe
- 35:36Speaker 1: I think they probably already settled. But I can perceive
- 35:40Speaker 1: a world where the kids at some point say, you
- 35:43Speaker 1: know what, you exploited us over twenty years on your
- 35:47Speaker 1: show and we didn't get anything from you, and so
- 35:49Speaker 1: now we are going to individually sue you so we
- 35:53Speaker 1: can get some money for that. I can see. Why
- 35:55Speaker 1: isn't Maddie doing that right fucking now? Why isn't Hunter
- 35:58Speaker 1: doing that?
- 35:59Speaker 2: I don't know. Maddie's got her podcast where she talks
- 36:02Speaker 2: about it.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I don't care, you know. I mean, she'd have to,
- 36:05Speaker 1: she'd have to sue Janelle too. Maybe she'd have to
- 36:07Speaker 1: sue all of the adults, and so she doesn't want
- 36:09Speaker 1: to do that necessarily. But I feel like there's some
- 36:13Speaker 1: liability there for these adults, and I feel like there's
- 36:16Speaker 1: I don't know how many kids they have. All those
- 36:17Speaker 1: kids could.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Sue they should.
- 36:19Speaker 1: That would be so fucking god, Oh my god.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Okay, and then we end the episode with the most
- 36:29Speaker 2: boring segments ever. I'm sorry, but it's Christina David. It's
- 36:33Speaker 2: the well we do have a.
- 36:35Speaker 1: House swarming party for Mary. And the only reason I
- 36:37Speaker 1: want to talk about that is because of that house.
- 36:41Speaker 1: And I know I call it the Haunted B and B,
- 36:42Speaker 1: and it's for obvious reasons. It is just really, I
- 36:45Speaker 1: just to me, Mary seems to have good taste now,
- 36:52Speaker 1: not in her clothing because she obviously shills for Lula Roe,
- 36:56Speaker 1: but like she liked her big house in flagstyles. You
- 37:00Speaker 1: needed that pantry, bitch, and that wet bar and that
- 37:03Speaker 1: fifth bedroom, and she seemed to understand like tasteful appointments
- 37:09Speaker 1: in the home and money, like she she got it
- 37:12Speaker 1: so for her to now be in this home, which
- 37:15Speaker 1: I get the ancestral significance, I guess, but like, I mean,
- 37:20Speaker 1: it's ugly. As that kitchen, you were so so but
- 37:25Speaker 1: I could not.
- 37:26Speaker 2: You are such a boy. I lived with that fucking
- 37:30Speaker 2: kitchen in this house, yeah, like a year and then
- 37:32Speaker 2: you Yeah, I couldn't take it.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I was itchy. I was itchy the entire time. I
- 37:37Speaker 1: don't know how Mary is not itchy in that kitchen
- 37:39Speaker 1: or with that wallpaper.
- 37:41Speaker 2: I don't know, like how would she Shanna Taurus.
- 37:43Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm so judging, but I'm just parent contrast
- 37:47Speaker 1: her flag Staff home, which was clean, yeah, very open,
- 37:53Speaker 1: but I mean no, it's not not at just it's cluttered.
- 37:56Speaker 1: It's got weird design elements. I would get the fuck
- 38:01Speaker 1: out of that. I mean, and you want to stay
- 38:04Speaker 1: in keeping an alignment with the architecture of the home,
- 38:08Speaker 1: but I will gut the fuck out of that and
- 38:10Speaker 1: put a modern kitchen. And if you're as wealthy as
- 38:12Speaker 1: Mary is, right now true, if you're in the process
- 38:14Speaker 1: of worthying up, true, well, then worthy up your abode.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Well maybe she is. I mean she's only been there
- 38:20Speaker 2: five months.
- 38:21Speaker 1: No, I'm jeedgie, I get it. I'm sorry, come for me.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but I just I would have I would struggle.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I'd be on the struggle bus there.
- 38:29Speaker 2: You can't do that. You call this house Barbibie Jones.
- 38:31Speaker 2: And it's a very nice house.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Well, but that's because we did a lot into in
- 38:35Speaker 1: the it's not done yet. But then when you go outside,
- 38:39Speaker 1: I think this this week and then last week we
- 38:42Speaker 1: saw a glimpse of the neighboring. There's like horterhouses and
- 38:46Speaker 1: like chain link fences, some sort like rusted out, blown
- 38:50Speaker 1: out vehicles.
- 38:51Speaker 2: There's a horderhouse right next to it, right over there,
- 38:54Speaker 2: and mechanic.
- 38:57Speaker 1: I mean, I'm a total middle class person, don't get wrong,
- 39:00Speaker 1: but I'm just wondering how Mary feels about that. I mean,
- 39:03Speaker 1: why isn't she in Salt Lake City? Why isn't she
- 39:06Speaker 1: in some tripped out house like Christine has?
- 39:09Speaker 2: Probably because she's saving them coins to sue the fuck
- 39:11Speaker 2: out of Coat.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I hear myself. I apologize so fucking classes,
- 39:16Speaker 1: but I just it just it just struck me. That
- 39:19Speaker 1: kitchen with ooh those cabinets.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Yeah, old people house for sure.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Yikes. Yeah, with some random refrigerator in some corner because
- 39:28Speaker 1: there's nowhere else to put it. I just couldn't do it.
- 39:30Speaker 2: I'm like, who cooks at the B and B? Does
- 39:33Speaker 2: Mary cook?
- 39:34Speaker 1: I don't think it's a functioning BnB anymore? Right? What? Yeah,
- 39:38Speaker 1: it's the point of a B B. I think it
- 39:41Speaker 1: was for a time, But then I think she's in
- 39:43Speaker 1: the process of making it her own. I don't know.
- 39:45Speaker 1: I'm just guessing that she hasn't announced this, but I'm
- 39:48Speaker 1: thinking she wants to stay there and live there. Why
- 39:50Speaker 1: would you Jesus crackers.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Oh my god, go live in Colorado or something? With
- 39:55Speaker 2: Leon or something.
- 39:56Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't get it.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Oh, speaking of that, Mary was on like a TikTok
- 40:00Speaker 2: or something recently, and she did kind of talk about
- 40:02Speaker 2: like Leon and her relationships with the family and stuff
- 40:06Speaker 2: like Mary's relationships with the family. She said, Leon doesn't
- 40:09Speaker 2: want to be on camera or even talked about, so
- 40:11Speaker 2: that's why they're not mentioned at all. But she does
- 40:13Speaker 2: have a good relationship with them, and she does talk
- 40:16Speaker 2: to them all the time. And then Mary also is
- 40:20Speaker 2: like in a better place with Christine and Janelle, and
- 40:23Speaker 2: specifically Janelle she's gotten a lot closer to after the divorce. Yeah,
- 40:28Speaker 2: she didn't elaborate on it.
- 40:29Speaker 1: It's probably because the lawsuit. Yeahs got to be because
- 40:31Speaker 1: of the legal stuff.
- 40:32Speaker 2: But apparently they talk a lot more often. I love that.
- 40:36Speaker 2: So all the OG three are like pretty good with
- 40:38Speaker 2: each other. Now.
- 40:39Speaker 1: That makes me feel really great.
- 40:40Speaker 2: I know, isn't that great?
- 40:41Speaker 1: That is really great. And I'm glad that her relationship
- 40:44Speaker 1: with Leon is good me too. That makes me happy.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Anyway, that was the only part of the Haunted B
- 40:49Speaker 1: and B. I just wanted to shit all over it
- 40:52Speaker 1: and just reveal myself to be an asshole, and I apologize,
- 40:55Speaker 1: but I'm not sorry. And then we have, of course,
- 40:58Speaker 1: David and Christine at the weirdest wedding shower in some
- 41:02Speaker 1: like rended room. You don't even have high tops, there's
- 41:05Speaker 1: no tables. You just have these fucked up chairs along
- 41:07Speaker 1: the wall. It is the most low class, lame wedding
- 41:11Speaker 1: shower I've ever seen in my life.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Cringe as fuck. They do some stupid couple's game where
- 41:16Speaker 2: everybody has to guess things about them, like I give
- 41:19Speaker 2: a fuck. Oh, and also Christine tried on her dress
- 41:22Speaker 2: and it's still very loose on her. I don't know
- 41:24Speaker 2: why they didn't tailor it into her waist.
- 41:26Speaker 1: That's what she wants. She wants to wear a bag.
- 41:29Speaker 1: She wants to wear the jeweled bag.
- 41:32Speaker 2: You've got a custom made dress and your sleeves are
- 41:35Speaker 2: falling off and the waist is not singched in.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Bro, I have no idea. I cannot even comment. I
- 41:40Speaker 1: don't know why you can't see what is in the mirror,
- 41:43Speaker 1: I mean, and see the fact that this needs to
- 41:45Speaker 1: be tailored a little bit more nipped in, Like what
- 41:47Speaker 1: are we doing? I don't I don't know.
- 41:50Speaker 2: She's very beautiful, like I would have been she gets
- 41:52Speaker 2: sinched in. Sure, it's fine, but.
- 41:54Speaker 1: If she likes it, we love it. Sure, of course
- 41:57Speaker 1: we have Michelti, who isabel calls bossy, always bossy.
- 42:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I can see that.
- 42:02Speaker 1: And you would think it would be Aspen because she
- 42:05Speaker 1: was the eldest and she was the one that was
- 42:07Speaker 1: most parentified out of all of Christine's kids. But no,
- 42:11Speaker 1: it's Mackeltie. And so she's of course running the wedding shower,
- 42:14Speaker 1: which means she's running that mouth. Yeah, she does look beautiful.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Sure she's lost a lot of that baby. Wait, she's
- 42:20Speaker 1: in a cute little little row outfit or what. But
- 42:22Speaker 1: you know who looks queen's status is Aspen.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:26Speaker 1: She kind of has darkened her blonde hair, so it's
- 42:29Speaker 1: kind of like like a reddish brown and blonde, and
- 42:33Speaker 1: it's so long, and I don't think it's extensions. She's
- 42:37Speaker 1: just so pretty, and so is Isabelle. Steve made some
- 42:41Speaker 1: gorgeous girl.
- 42:42Speaker 2: She did for sure? What what?
- 42:50Speaker 1: What?
- 42:50Speaker 2: Nothing?
- 42:51Speaker 1: Okay, we're stopping right there.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Well we can do it uncensored.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Okay, let's star it anyway. Okay, so we are back
- 42:58Speaker 1: to the general pod. If you want to hear all
- 43:01Speaker 1: of our uncensored bits. You've gotta go to the Patriot.
- 43:05Speaker 1: You gotta go to patreon dot com, slash reality TV
- 43:08Speaker 1: cringe us where the party's at. That's where the extra
- 43:11Speaker 1: content is as well.
- 43:13Speaker 2: So that party was it was a whack as fuck.
- 43:17Speaker 2: And then we have a whole conversation about luggage rags
- 43:20Speaker 2: that I totally zoned out for.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Yeah, well I was present for that because I take
- 43:23Speaker 1: this very seriously. Apparently, when Cody and any of his wives,
- 43:29Speaker 1: although we can't say Robin for sure, Betty doesn't do
- 43:32Speaker 1: this with the other three, when they would go on
- 43:36Speaker 1: trips or to hotels and they would get into their room,
- 43:40Speaker 1: he would put his luggage on the luggage rack, of course,
- 43:44Speaker 1: and so the women with their suitcases would have to
- 43:46Speaker 1: put their suitcases on the floor or on the bed
- 43:49Speaker 1: and just rummaged through them that way. But Cody always
- 43:51Speaker 1: got the wreck. And so when Christine got with David
- 43:55Speaker 1: and their first trist overnight holiday is a holiday, their
- 44:02Speaker 1: first twist at a hotel, he put her suitcase on
- 44:06Speaker 1: the rat.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Wow, what a gentleman.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Well, and then Christine was so twitter painted bitch, yeah,
- 44:12Speaker 1: that she called Janelle immediately and said, listen to this.
- 44:15Speaker 1: He put my suitcase on the rack. Can you believe
- 44:19Speaker 1: sent her a picture and Janelle and Christine had a
- 44:22Speaker 1: good old laugh about that. That's great, but this does
- 44:25Speaker 1: further illustrate what a narcissist, arrogant piece of shit Cody
- 44:29Speaker 1: Brown has always been.
- 44:31Speaker 2: Yep, and Cody does have his talking head. I was
- 44:33Speaker 2: present for this where he said, you know, oh, when
- 44:36Speaker 2: you get divorced, it's like every little thing that you
- 44:38Speaker 2: look back in your life becomes like a point of contention.
- 44:40Speaker 2: So the luggage racks, it's just another petty thing to
- 44:43Speaker 2: be angry about, right, And then he has a little
- 44:45Speaker 2: smile and his stupid dumb face.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Yeah, oh god, somebody made a post on Reddit. I
- 44:50Speaker 1: told you this was going to be longer than thirty minutes,
- 44:52Speaker 1: and we're going to have to do a second video
- 44:53Speaker 1: for this every time. But I did see a post
- 44:56Speaker 1: on Reddit where somebody took a picture of Cody his
- 45:00Speaker 1: smile in this episode with his teeth. His teeth are
- 45:04Speaker 1: all yellow.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Yeah, they're very yellow.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Ye. I noticed that kind of gray, kind of like
- 45:11Speaker 1: from a booze booze or drug use or something like that.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Booze.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Somebody wondered if he was wearing those invisiline trays. I
- 45:17Speaker 1: don't think that's it, because his voice would sound different.
- 45:21Speaker 1: But something's happening with his dental hygiene or something.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Well, he's getting older and he's drinking, and he's a
- 45:27Speaker 2: miserable sack of shit.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's a celebrity. And as a celebrity, aren't
- 45:31Speaker 1: you supposed to get veneers? Aren't you supposed to? I mean, yeah,
- 45:36Speaker 1: well yes, they have a two whatnot imagine? And like
- 45:39Speaker 1: if you're so meticulous about your Shirley Temple curly cue hair,
- 45:44Speaker 1: well yeah, like, why wouldn't you be checking out your girl?
- 45:47Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you be using a lease? Go the dentist
- 45:49Speaker 1: and get some trays for some bleach.
- 45:51Speaker 2: No, for real, I mean get some crass whitening strips.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Like it's cheap as fuck, Like what are you doing?
- 45:55Speaker 1: His teeth look jacked up.
- 45:57Speaker 2: His teeth are as yellow as his hair.
- 45:59Speaker 1: I mean, his teeth are kind druggy looking. To me,
- 46:01Speaker 1: I'm a specific relative. Yeah, and I know I didn't.
- 46:06Speaker 1: I didn't clock this.
- 46:07Speaker 2: It was clocked.
- 46:08Speaker 1: You had to clock this.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Pill addiction, yeah, pill.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Addiction and their teeth are just getting yellower and even gray.
- 46:16Speaker 2: That's from like forgetting to brush your teeth really yeah,
- 46:19Speaker 2: but alcohol really flugs up your teeth, and that from
- 46:23Speaker 2: my family stuff.
- 46:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 46:25Speaker 2: And he's probably not brushing his teeth either. He's probably
- 46:27Speaker 2: got bad breath halitosis.
- 46:29Speaker 1: I don't think so brushing. Do you think he smokes
- 46:34Speaker 1: if he was smoking or something looking cigarettes, eye dark
- 46:37Speaker 1: crack I wish or hair, black tar, heroine, No, it's
- 46:42Speaker 1: probably not in his life more. Yeah, I guess. But anyway,
- 46:46Speaker 1: it was just something that they were that they were
- 46:48Speaker 1: talking about on Reddit and I looked, and so I
- 46:50Speaker 1: looked for it and I saw it.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I saw those yellow gray teeth, very yellow.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Not a good look, Coady.
- 46:57Speaker 2: His hair is also looking really really yellow lately, and
- 47:00Speaker 2: I'm like, what are you doing. You could do like
- 47:03Speaker 2: a natural blonde color and you would look shave it,
- 47:06Speaker 2: but or just shave it, shave it. It's just weird
- 47:09Speaker 2: to me, like why are you dyeing the top hair
- 47:10Speaker 2: but then you're leaving your beard doc gray. It looks bad.
- 47:14Speaker 1: I don't know, he's ugly. I mean, look at Robin.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Look at him. They're doing the best that they can
- 47:19Speaker 1: with what they have, the raw materials, and it ain't
- 47:21Speaker 1: working for me.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Maybe he's taking some of Robin's ambient maybe maybe it's
- 47:25Speaker 2: maybe they're showing up in his girl.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Yeah wild anyway, So.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Then we end the episode. We have a preview. We're
- 47:33Speaker 2: gonna see Christine get married again. What again, She's getting
- 47:36Speaker 2: married in two days?
- 47:37Speaker 1: Did you know that too?
- 47:39Speaker 2: You know, I think to a guy named David.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Okay.
- 47:41Speaker 2: And then we have Mary telling her friend Jen that
- 47:46Speaker 2: Cody thought that Jen has always been a terrible, awful
- 47:50Speaker 2: friend to her for the last twenty years.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Oh my god, I totally missed that.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Really, Yeah, that's what he said. What Mary said to Jenny. Wow.
