- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, It's Lala Kent. Welcome to untraditionally, Lala, Hello, gorgeous,
- 0:08Speaker 1: it is Laala Kent. Welcome back to untraditionally Lala Hi
- 0:12Speaker 1: t te oh, hey, hey, hey, oh what a fucking week.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Can I just tell you be honest? Is this our
- 0:23Speaker 1: mom forever? Do you think I.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Try not to think that far in advance.
- 0:27Speaker 1: How would that be?
- 0:29Speaker 2: I just am today because if I do think that way,
- 0:34Speaker 2: like it scares me, Like it really does scare me.
- 0:37Speaker 1: It does.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot. I hope it's not my mom forever.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Her hip is good though, it's just now trying to
- 0:43Speaker 2: get everything else in order. Yeah, and we're coming. We're
- 0:47Speaker 2: not even a month out of the hip, so like
- 0:49Speaker 2: that's the other thing, like three months they were saying
- 0:51Speaker 2: it takes, but I would like her to start doing
- 0:55Speaker 2: upper body movement.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Yeah, she came, so my mom. As you guys know,
- 1:01Speaker 1: how her hip replaced, which we've heard is like a
- 1:05Speaker 1: life altering surgery in the best way. But since then,
- 1:11Speaker 1: you know, she has sleep apnea, so she she has
- 1:15Speaker 1: to have like the masks.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Let me I want to ask fellow our fellow pods,
- 1:22Speaker 2: if you or somebody has sleep apnea. Yeah, our mother
- 1:26Speaker 2: keeps taking her mask off in the middle of the night,
- 1:29Speaker 2: and she says she's like claustrophobic little things. So my
- 1:33Speaker 2: question is, do you guys have any tips, tips or
- 1:37Speaker 2: tricks of keeping it on or making it so you
- 1:41Speaker 2: can sleep or whatnot, because that I think would be
- 1:44Speaker 2: the best thing for mom is to try to keep
- 1:46Speaker 2: that mask on all Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 1: And she's talking about like her heart racing and she
- 1:50Speaker 1: feels like she wants to crawl out of her own skin,
- 1:51Speaker 1: and I'm like, well, that's anxiety. So they put her
- 1:53Speaker 1: on anxiety mends, which I think are having the opposite
- 1:56Speaker 1: effect on her and like actually making the anxiety worse.
- 2:00Speaker 1: She also has lost so much weight that it makes
- 2:02Speaker 1: me nervous. She's not looking like my mother. She's not
- 2:08Speaker 1: like skin and bone.
- 2:09Speaker 2: No, she's just not Mom. Yeah. I like my mom
- 2:14Speaker 2: with some meat on her. I like giving her a
- 2:15Speaker 2: big old bear hug and.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's just not there. So I'm trying not
- 2:20Speaker 1: to think about it either. But when she came up
- 2:21Speaker 1: last night rummaging through the medicine cabinet because she's like,
- 2:24Speaker 1: I just can't sleep, and I feel like I want
- 2:25Speaker 1: to crawl out of my own skin. I laid down
- 2:28Speaker 1: and had a moment of like the decline with Dad
- 2:32Speaker 1: and how quickly that happened.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Well, And I did point that out to her because
- 2:37Speaker 2: like I was around, I saw Dad every day, you know,
- 2:41Speaker 2: I like I was like, and that's where it is
- 2:43Speaker 2: right now. It is like, I need to get you
- 2:47Speaker 2: a bit of help because what I am witnessing I
- 2:49Speaker 2: have witnessed, and what I witnessed with him, it took him. Yeah,
- 2:54Speaker 2: So I do not want that for Mom. And like
- 2:56Speaker 2: the other thing is that she hates to do is exercising.
- 2:59Speaker 2: But the one thing that I have found that I
- 3:02Speaker 2: do is going on runs, little band workouts. And if
- 3:06Speaker 2: I don't do that, I can tell my sleep is off,
- 3:08Speaker 2: my body is not. It's restless.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:11Speaker 2: So I'm hoping that Mom can feel good enough to
- 3:14Speaker 2: maybe get her body moving inactive to the point where
- 3:17Speaker 2: she goes to sleep her body and mind are both tired. Yeah,
- 3:22Speaker 2: because right now I just think it's her mind and
- 3:24Speaker 2: not her body and that's where she's and.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I think we have to get some nutrients. Yeah, I mean,
- 3:31Speaker 1: she eats like she's a toddler. She's like I I
- 3:34Speaker 1: just want the bread. I don't want to eat I
- 3:37Speaker 1: don't really like that kind of fruit.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I don't want to not.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Get the veggies. I just want rice. I'm like, we
- 3:42Speaker 1: have to have something.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Last night she law is like, I'm going to make
- 3:47Speaker 2: you meatballs, and she goes just one, just one meatball.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It's like, well, maybe that's why you're not challenging. You
- 3:55Speaker 2: have to eat it well.
- 3:56Speaker 1: And I remember going through like hard times in my
- 3:59Speaker 1: life and at night I would wake up and I
- 4:02Speaker 1: would have so I was so anxious that my stomach
- 4:05Speaker 1: was eating itself and I wanted to crawl out of
- 4:06Speaker 1: my own body. And it's like, oh, I have like
- 4:08Speaker 1: zero nutrition in my body. So last night I was
- 4:11Speaker 1: spiraling in my mind and I had to actively be like, Lauren,
- 4:15Speaker 1: you cannot go to a grocery store right now because
- 4:17Speaker 1: it's four in the fucking morning, and you'll deal with
- 4:20Speaker 1: it tomorrow. Stop thinking about this and go to sleep.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Because I just kept looping, looping. She gotta have veggies,
- 4:28Speaker 1: she gotta have veggies. I gotta wake her up right now.
- 4:29Speaker 1: We gotta ge veggies in her. We gotta get vegies
- 4:31Speaker 1: in her. I was like, fucking tweaking out. So this morning,
- 4:34Speaker 1: I wake up and I check on her to make
- 4:36Speaker 1: sure she's not fucking dead, because I was tweaking about
- 4:39Speaker 1: that too, And I ordered her a smoothie from Creation
- 4:44Speaker 1: on Postmates, and it was a bit It had a
- 4:47Speaker 1: banana in it, and I was like, I don't even
- 4:48Speaker 1: give a fuck. I'm not taking the banana out. She's
- 4:50Speaker 1: gonna have to fucking suck it up.
- 4:53Speaker 2: My mother has lied to us her whole.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Life about being allergic to bananas. She's not allergic, she
- 4:57Speaker 1: just doesn't like them, along with every other thing that
- 4:59Speaker 1: you could possibly imagine. I keep the banana in, I
- 5:03Speaker 1: add spinach. I go to check out. The large smoothie
- 5:06Speaker 1: cost me just for I was like.
- 5:14Speaker 2: My mother's health.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So I clicked I double clack, double click clack, be
- 5:19Speaker 1: side buttons, put it on the amex.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Put it on credit because that's what we'll need, and
- 5:27Speaker 2: drinking drinky.
- 5:27Speaker 1: She she went. Now she's taking a bath, and I'm
- 5:31Speaker 1: just feeling a little tapped out because there's a lot
- 5:33Speaker 1: of humans that need taking taken care of at this house. Anyway,
- 5:36Speaker 1: moving on, last week, you guys, I went to New
- 5:40Speaker 1: York City for those of you who know me know
- 5:43Speaker 1: that that city gives me so much anxiety. Once I'm there,
- 5:48Speaker 1: like I'm a little bit fine, finer than the thought
- 5:50Speaker 1: of going, but also just the thought of like getting
- 5:53Speaker 1: on a plane to travel there. And I'm very particular.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I'm like, put me on a morning flight so that
- 5:59Speaker 1: I land in the evening. I can go grab something
- 6:02Speaker 1: to eat, and then I can go into the room
- 6:03Speaker 1: and get a good night's sleep. I'm adamant, no fucking
- 6:07Speaker 1: red eyes. So flight information comes in. I get to
- 6:10Speaker 1: the airport, it's seven thirty. My flight doesn't even leave
- 6:13Speaker 1: until ten. Don't know why I needed to be there
- 6:17Speaker 1: with that early, but just to make my s say
- 6:20Speaker 1: you never you never know what la. So I go
- 6:24Speaker 1: to the lounge for Delta, and she like looks at
- 6:26Speaker 1: my car and she's like, oh, you qualify for the
- 6:29Speaker 1: better lounge. And I was like, bet, I like that better.
- 6:33Speaker 2: You are better than me, Because if she would have
- 6:34Speaker 2: been like, there's a better lounge for you, I'd be like, well,
- 6:37Speaker 2: I'm here, so have a good shit.
- 6:38Speaker 1: It's just down the way.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I'll walk you.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I was like, great, perfect a handler more walking now and.
- 6:44Speaker 1: It's closer to your gate.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I was done.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I'm at the better lounge closer to the gate, and
- 6:49Speaker 1: you're walking me there. So I get to this better
- 6:52Speaker 1: lounge and I'm kicking it. Text comes through and it's
- 6:55Speaker 1: like fifty five minute delay and I'm like fifty five minutes,
- 6:58Speaker 1: all right, whatever, that's nothing. So I go have a
- 7:00Speaker 1: second breakfast at this lounge and then I get hit
- 7:04Speaker 1: with the second text and they say that now the
- 7:07Speaker 1: flight is delayed four hours, fifty five minutes or three
- 7:10Speaker 1: hours and fit something along those lines. So I'm like,
- 7:13Speaker 1: well that's a blur. So around two o'clock I head
- 7:17Speaker 1: down to ten eleven, twelve one two. That's making sure there.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Two o'clock I head down for my boarding time. I'm
- 7:26Speaker 1: in line. All of the sudden they close the door.
- 7:30Speaker 1: We're all hit with the text that the flight has
- 7:32Speaker 1: now been fully canceled. I was like, I go to
- 7:37Speaker 1: the gate person and I was like, what do we
- 7:39Speaker 1: do about our bags? And he literally gets on his
- 7:42Speaker 1: intercom because there's a line, and he's like, I cannot
- 7:44Speaker 1: help you with this flight.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I know nothing. Was my kind of guy.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Too, but also just like direct me towards the bags
- 7:54Speaker 1: and he was like, you need to go to baggage claim.
- 7:55Speaker 1: So I'm like hauling ass to baggage claim. I was like, hey,
- 7:59Speaker 1: my bag was on this flight. Here's a little ticket.
- 8:02Speaker 1: She scans it. She goes, oh, this is on the
- 8:04Speaker 1: cancel flight. We have all of you on a flight
- 8:06Speaker 1: tomorrow morning. And everyone that's there trying to get their
- 8:09Speaker 1: backs are like, wait, we have a full day tomorrow.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I've got all these meetings. I was like, yeah, we
- 8:13Speaker 1: all have to work all day tomorrow, so we're going
- 8:15Speaker 1: to be at our bag.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that's exactly we got this flight to get there
- 8:18Speaker 3: by tomorrow.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yes, so getting there tomorrow not gonna work.
- 8:23Speaker 1: It'll not work. So she was like, oh, so then
- 8:27Speaker 1: what are you gonna do. I go, well, now I
- 8:28Speaker 1: have to book a flight through a different airline because
- 8:31Speaker 1: you guys don't have anything that's flying out by the
- 8:35Speaker 1: time I need to get into New York. And she
- 8:36Speaker 1: was like, okay, let me make a phone call. Makes
- 8:38Speaker 1: a phone call. She's like, all right, they have your
- 8:41Speaker 1: bag and it will be off the plane from anywhere
- 8:45Speaker 1: between like thirty minutes, but it could take like five hours.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I'm like, that is the largest chunk of time I've
- 8:52Speaker 1: ever heard.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Thirty minutes It's like, first of all, it's going from
- 8:54Speaker 4: the plane to the tarmac, are you just taking it?
- 8:57Speaker 2: Get around?
- 8:58Speaker 1: Whenever they could get around to it, I guess get.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Around to it. You'd think they'd want the I call Easton.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Because I cannot walk to the uber section of Lax.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm gonna need someone to pick me up
- 9:09Speaker 1: where I'm.
- 9:09Speaker 2: At and I just had gotten down with Lisa's hip appointment.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Soldier, You're the fucking best. You're the fucking best, Easton. Okay,
- 9:17Speaker 1: I'm sorry for everything I said here yesterday.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Did you better be? I like how I stood ground?
- 9:22Speaker 1: I didn't know. I didn't I needed you to. I
- 9:24Speaker 1: just spoke about anger. That podcast comes out with Amber soon. No,
- 9:29Speaker 1: I didn't like it. Actually, I needed you to disengage
- 9:31Speaker 1: so that I could meet you.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Well, you have you heightened it?
- 9:36Speaker 4: I met the wola from vander pump On said level.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I didn't like it at all. Anyway, not the point,
- 9:44Speaker 1: let's not rehash. I just want to say sorry that
- 9:47Speaker 1: I did that yesterday.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I apologize as well.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Anyway, Easton comes picks me up, and right as he's like, hey,
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm super close, my bag comes out. My bag comes out.
- 9:58Speaker 1: It is like, oh my calls me.
- 10:00Speaker 2: He goes, Oh my god, my back just got here.
- 10:02Speaker 1: So exactly it's here.
- 10:04Speaker 2: You would have thought that the plane was actually going
- 10:05Speaker 2: to take off. She was like, actually the plane. That's
- 10:07Speaker 2: how excited.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Because it's the little things in life.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Less out of control.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I was like, at least my bag is with me.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Could you imagine?
- 10:17Speaker 2: No, I've done?
- 10:18Speaker 1: Are you trying to figure that shit out?
- 10:22Speaker 2: No? There's been times where I would have been in.
- 10:23Speaker 1: New York and my bag would have been at JFK
- 10:26Speaker 1: the next day too late.
- 10:28Speaker 2: What would I have done?
- 10:29Speaker 1: What would I have done? My whole face was in
- 10:31Speaker 1: there anyway. Oh no, I got my bag and that
- 10:35Speaker 1: then my flight was at eleven PM. I had to
- 10:38Speaker 1: take the Red Eye. I landed at like, got to
- 10:41Speaker 1: the airport or the hotel at like nine thirty, hit
- 10:45Speaker 1: the ground fucking running by the time I got back.
- 10:49Speaker 1: You guys La. When I would fly from Utah to La,
- 10:52Speaker 1: I used to tweak out because I'm like, this is
- 10:55Speaker 1: the most chaotic city I've ever been in. I got
- 10:57Speaker 1: to get back to Utah. Now when I land in
- 10:59Speaker 1: LA from New York or any other place, I'm like,
- 11:03Speaker 1: and as much as like we talk about how this
- 11:06Speaker 1: city it can be like overwhelming and it's like a
- 11:09Speaker 1: rat race. It's home, and I was so happy to
- 11:12Speaker 1: land back here and just like feel normal and get
- 11:17Speaker 1: a good night's sleep and see my kids. And I've
- 11:20Speaker 1: been having such bad mom guilt. But anyway, the whole reason,
- 11:26Speaker 1: so that was the plane trip. I totally forgot the
- 11:28Speaker 1: whole reason I went to. The trip was fucking exhausting.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I forgot the whole reason why I even went out there.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I went out to do watch Robins Live, and I
- 11:38Speaker 1: was the last time I did watch What Happens. I
- 11:40Speaker 1: was two months postpartum and I did it with Durrey Kemsley.
- 11:44Speaker 1: And I was actually there promoting the Travis Kelcey show
- 11:48Speaker 1: that I had done while very pregnant. And so Andy
- 11:52Speaker 1: comes in and he's like, I feel like I have
- 11:53Speaker 1: not seen you for so long, and I told him
- 11:55Speaker 1: I was like, I haven't been here since. I mean,
- 11:57Speaker 1: my child's going to be two and like handful of
- 11:59Speaker 1: myne Anyway, he was wonderful. I was told that I
- 12:04Speaker 1: was supposed to do watch What Happens with Kesha. That
- 12:07Speaker 1: was very excited. I want to tell you guys. This
- 12:10Speaker 1: interaction the only interaction I've ever had with Kesha. It's
- 12:13Speaker 1: me Brittany, Me, Brittany and Janet and we're leaving Jet
- 12:18Speaker 1: Sweet X, headed back to LA from super Bowl. Kesha
- 12:23Speaker 1: comes off the plane. We're waiting to get on our plane.
- 12:28Speaker 1: She has her glasses on tonight time. She's fucking cool
- 12:30Speaker 1: like that, takes them off yours. Oh my god, you
- 12:33Speaker 1: guys are beautiful. I'm obsessed with you guys, puts a
- 12:37Speaker 1: glasses back on, walks out to her.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Car, center piece. I love her, I was like.
- 12:42Speaker 1: What what?
- 12:44Speaker 2: So? I became a fan when she re recorded her
- 12:47Speaker 2: song I got in the morning.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Saying fuck Peete, fuck with you hard. Let me tell
- 12:55Speaker 1: you when I became the biggest fan is when her
- 12:58Speaker 1: song single handedly got me through my leaving of he
- 13:05Speaker 1: whose name we shall not mention and hauling ass on
- 13:10Speaker 1: fucking mule holland blasting that song movie my shit out house.
- 13:16Speaker 1: That's when I was like, I'm a Kasha fan. That song. Oh,
- 13:19Speaker 1: She's like, I'm proud of who I am. Oh, she's
- 13:23Speaker 1: so fucking good. Anyway, she ends up not being able
- 13:27Speaker 1: to make it because, as everyone knows, everyone's falling sick
- 13:31Speaker 1: right now, and she like wasn't feeling very good, so
- 13:34Speaker 1: she doesn't make it. They have Nick Lachet and my inner.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I'll be honest, My my grown ass woman started freaking
- 13:40Speaker 1: because I love ninety eight degrees and I'm gonna let
- 13:42Speaker 1: you in on a little secret. My most favorite ninety
- 13:44Speaker 1: eight degrees song is the theme song on Mulan featuring
- 13:48Speaker 1: Stevie Wonder, True to your Heart. It is the greatest
- 13:52Speaker 1: Me and ocean in the car on the way to Disney.
- 13:54Speaker 1: We are up in that bitch, just the fucking rockin'
- 13:58Speaker 1: ready to take Disney bybe balls. Okay, so I did
- 14:03Speaker 1: it with him. It was fucking awesome. The next day,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I have a full day of press that's supposed to
- 14:09Speaker 1: start at like nine am. I keep clicking snooze because
- 14:12Speaker 1: I am in bad shape, and all I can think
- 14:14Speaker 1: about is that whatever Kesha may or may not have
- 14:17Speaker 1: been feeling had teleported itself to me in New York.
- 14:20Speaker 1: And I was like, every time I stood up, you guys,
- 14:23Speaker 1: I felt like I was going to pass out. I
- 14:25Speaker 1: was sweating, I felt like I was gonna throw up.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I was so nauseous. I ended up canceling all of press.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I could not even I could not even get myself
- 14:35Speaker 1: on my feet. And I had to make a flight
- 14:38Speaker 1: that night, and I'm like, I'll be damned if I'm
- 14:39Speaker 1: stuck here one more night. I gotta get out, Love
- 14:42Speaker 1: you New York, got to get back to the West Coast.
- 14:45Speaker 1: So that was my Watch What Happens Live experience. I
- 14:48Speaker 1: had a wonderful time. Lena, who does my hair, is
- 14:52Speaker 1: the one who dressed me. Because I just have been
- 14:56Speaker 1: so clocked out recently. I was like, hey, babe, can
- 14:58Speaker 1: you please bring off for me? And I had tried
- 15:01Speaker 1: on that same jumpsuit to wear to Bravocon and I
- 15:06Speaker 1: was like, it's so cute, but like, it's not really
- 15:08Speaker 1: the vibe I'm going for. Let's save it for Watch
- 15:11Speaker 1: What Happens. The way that it fit me at Bravocon
- 15:14Speaker 1: compared to the way it fit me after heartbreak and
- 15:16Speaker 1: stress not a standing up look for me in that moment.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I'd lost a little bit of weight. I wasn't quite
- 15:24Speaker 1: filling it out properly, but you know what, sitting it
- 15:26Speaker 1: looked great. I felt like I felt like Jennifer Tilly
- 15:30Speaker 1: when she was like, it's really more of a standing
- 15:32Speaker 1: up dress. Not a sitting because the eye and the
- 15:35Speaker 1: lip went wonky on her reunion. Look when she sat,
- 15:38Speaker 1: Mine was the opposite. When I sat great, standing up
- 15:41Speaker 1: not so much. So I get home and the next day, Friday,
- 15:47Speaker 1: what'd you guys do while I was gone? Sorry, I
- 15:49Speaker 1: feel like I'm just on it.
- 15:50Speaker 2: No, what my you know what I've been up to.
- 15:53Speaker 2: I've been doing those two little quietly.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Oh you've been doing business. You've been standing on business?
- 16:00Speaker 2: Yeah, just working on that business. There's yeah, I was
- 16:04Speaker 2: just working on the computer. I've got two little things
- 16:06Speaker 2: that have three things I'm working on.
- 16:19Speaker 1: How were the kids while I was gone?
- 16:21Speaker 2: Great?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Did they allow you to get things done? I mean
- 16:24Speaker 1: Ocean at school, I wasn't gone that long. I was
- 16:26Speaker 1: done less than forty eight hours.
- 16:27Speaker 2: No, I mean there's simple, They're easy and luckily we
- 16:30Speaker 2: have Cynthia like throughout the day. So like while they
- 16:33Speaker 2: were at school, I got a whole bunch of work done.
- 16:35Speaker 2: When they'd get home, we would hang out, eat, play games, color,
- 16:40Speaker 2: we'd go outside and play on the basketball court, swam.
- 16:43Speaker 2: We just did a whole bunch of stuff. And then
- 16:45Speaker 2: when the little one went down, Sosa like Ocean's so easy.
- 16:48Speaker 2: She'd just like get in her bed, or she would
- 16:50Speaker 2: sit on the couch. We watched Shrek. She's really in
- 16:53Speaker 2: was obsessed with Shrek Shrek ever After, which in my opinion, is.
- 16:57Speaker 1: The worst one yea where Shrek Wish is for yeah,
- 17:01Speaker 1: but it's nothing because Rumpell steal skin, steals his old,
- 17:05Speaker 1: his life, and it's I don't love it.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I like one and three.
- 17:09Speaker 1: You watched it? Do you watched it while I was gone?
- 17:14Speaker 2: Well, I've seen it.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so let me tell you. I get home,
- 17:19Speaker 1: and Ocean knows that if it's a weekend, she can
- 17:22Speaker 1: sleep in my bed. If it's a weekend weekdays and
- 17:24Speaker 1: there's school, you got to be in your own bed. Anyway,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I told her that I was leaving town and I
- 17:28Speaker 1: would be gone, but by the time, you know, she blinked,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I would be back. And I said, So, I promise
- 17:35Speaker 1: you when I get home Friday night, you and me,
- 17:38Speaker 1: babe on the couch, we're doing a spawn night. We're
- 17:40Speaker 1: gonna have popcorn with Eminem's in it, and we will
- 17:44Speaker 1: watch whatever movie you want. So Friday rolls around and
- 17:48Speaker 1: I have to do, don't have to I get to
- 17:51Speaker 1: I should say this shop today, so it's like a
- 17:56Speaker 1: part of the Today Show with the Rainbow in some capacity,
- 18:01Speaker 1: and they had myself, Brittany, what was it myself, Brittany,
- 18:06Speaker 1: Michelle and Kristin That's sorry, my mind is mushed today.
- 18:11Speaker 1: And it was so much fun. Everyone looked amazing. We
- 18:14Speaker 1: basically just did a panel where we talked about being
- 18:17Speaker 1: moms and what it's like at this stage of life.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You know, Brittany got to speak on having a son
- 18:23Speaker 1: with autism who's five and all of the mountains he's
- 18:27Speaker 1: been moving, Kristin, you know, doing IUI and going through
- 18:31Speaker 1: a fertility journey and getting pregnant in a at an
- 18:35Speaker 1: older quote unquote age. We spoke about mom guilt, which
- 18:41Speaker 1: is what I was really struggling with in that moment
- 18:44Speaker 1: and have continued to struggle with. And I think everyone
- 18:47Speaker 1: can relate except for Michelle. We asked, They asked Michelle
- 18:54Speaker 1: how she manages it. She goes, I don't have mom guilt,
- 18:56Speaker 1: and we all were like, oh what. She was like, No, Like,
- 19:01Speaker 1: I think about going out and doing things and it's
- 19:05Speaker 1: like I have to have my cup full and be
- 19:08Speaker 1: well rested and feel like I'm my own person in
- 19:11Speaker 1: order to show up as a good mom for Isabella,
- 19:14Speaker 1: and keep in mind, they really hit the ground running.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Isabella wakes up at like six am and is ready
- 19:21Speaker 1: for full blown activities from the time they wake up
- 19:24Speaker 1: till the time they go to bed, so she really
- 19:26Speaker 1: does have to practice self care on like a completely
- 19:29Speaker 1: different level. Granted it's fifty to fifty that they have,
- 19:33Speaker 1: but as time goes on, Like I remember at the
- 19:35Speaker 1: beginning of my situation, if something fell on a weekend
- 19:41Speaker 1: that I didn't have ocean, it was not happening. As
- 19:45Speaker 1: time passes you realize that that's that's your hope. But
- 19:49Speaker 1: there are going to be things that you have to do,
- 19:51Speaker 1: whether it's work or a birthday that your friend is
- 19:54Speaker 1: having that falls on a day that you have your kid,
- 19:57Speaker 1: and it's okay to tap and a sitter or a nanny,
- 20:01Speaker 1: you know, like go do your thing. But the fact
- 20:05Speaker 1: that she does not struggle with mom kilts. I was
- 20:09Speaker 1: very impressed. I mean I decided to press it. Yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I decided to go have dinner with them after and
- 20:14Speaker 1: it was like maybe four thirty. I was tweaking out.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm like, I promised my kid a movie night and
- 20:22Speaker 1: spawn night and they're like, great, it's four thirty. I'm like,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I know the time. I was like, I feel guilty
- 20:29Speaker 1: that I'm like going out with my friends to an
- 20:31Speaker 1: early early early bird special dinner and like enjoying myself.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Like how weird is that? Like I found guilty. I
- 20:38Speaker 1: kept calling you said, I'm like, are you guys okay?
- 20:41Speaker 1: Is mom okay? Are you guys? Upset? I promise I'm hurrying.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I got home at six, We started the spaw night.
- 20:48Speaker 1: She had the time of her fucking life. I highly
- 20:50Speaker 1: recommend if you have a little girl or a little
- 20:52Speaker 1: boy who wants to do something like that, anytime I
- 20:58Speaker 1: do that with her, something so freaking simple, you guys
- 21:01Speaker 1: sitting on a couch with eye patches on. She saw
- 21:04Speaker 1: that I had put on my doggy pajamas. She ran downstairs,
- 21:09Speaker 1: comes up and has on the same pajamas as I do. No,
- 21:12Speaker 1: she's adorable, fucking adorable. We make the popcorn. She's on
- 21:16Speaker 1: cloud nine. She gets the candy, she puts it in,
- 21:20Speaker 1: We sit down, We watch Shrek four again, and she
- 21:25Speaker 1: looks at me and goes, this is the best night ever.
- 21:28Speaker 1: And I kid you not anytime we do that. She
- 21:31Speaker 1: tells me, it is the best night ever.
- 21:33Speaker 2: No, she loves a good chocolate in the bad.
- 21:36Speaker 1: No, we did on the couch because she was like,
- 21:38Speaker 1: I want to watch on the couch so that if
- 21:41Speaker 1: Easton and GG want we want to watch, we could
- 21:44Speaker 1: joint watch.
- 21:45Speaker 2: We did join in for a.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Bit, and she loved it so much that the next
- 21:49Speaker 1: night we did the exact same thing no Groundhog's Day,
- 21:53Speaker 1: except we were in Spice Girl pajamas. But we did
- 21:56Speaker 1: watch Shrek four.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Isn't that good for you? Though? For time? I am
- 22:00Speaker 2: so worry some You're like living in fifty first day.
- 22:02Speaker 2: It's where time never goes anywhere, right, you would think, Yeah,
- 22:06Speaker 2: you're living the same day every day. It's kind of
- 22:08Speaker 2: like time is in passing.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I woke up this morning. Oh god, I was up
- 22:12Speaker 1: this morning and I was like, oh my gosh, another
- 22:15Speaker 1: day has passed. That means we're closer to the end.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I can start moving my body in motion, stays in
- 22:22Speaker 2: my get fucking dark. I get down, figure it out.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I gotta figure it out, dude. It's like not good anyway.
- 22:32Speaker 1: I saw a note while I've gone and I actually
- 22:36Speaker 1: I didn't think you were going to talk about this
- 22:37Speaker 1: and I'm so happy that you're it is.
- 22:39Speaker 2: So sad, guys.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Should I tee it up?
- 22:42Speaker 2: Or do you want to see?
- 22:43Speaker 4: No?
- 22:43Speaker 2: Tee it up?
- 22:44Speaker 1: So we see that there's like this little baby duck
- 22:48Speaker 1: in our pool and it seems distressed. And then I
- 22:52Speaker 1: hear tweeting in the neighbor's yards, so I yell over.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I'm like, do you guys have baby ducks over there?
- 22:56Speaker 1: And they're like, yeah, they're in the pool. They can't
- 22:58Speaker 1: get out. I'm like same. I text my other neighbor.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, just so you know, I hear baby
- 23:03Speaker 1: ducks in your backyard. There's one in my yard and
- 23:06Speaker 1: one in my other neighbor's yard, Like, don't let your
- 23:08Speaker 1: dogs out. She's like, cool, have I have two over here? Whatever,
- 23:13Speaker 1: We get our baby duck out to safety, and it
- 23:16Speaker 1: just the moment it gets out.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Guys. We try to party so much effort into getting
- 23:20Speaker 2: this duck out because I was like, maybe he can't
- 23:22Speaker 2: get out of the big lipped pool. So we put
- 23:24Speaker 2: like a little runway so we could get out. I
- 23:27Speaker 2: put like a nut like in the corner if he
- 23:29Speaker 2: felt like coming into it. He swam into the net.
- 23:31Speaker 2: So I was like, oh, okay, So I like, pick
- 23:33Speaker 2: the net up. I gently put it on the side
- 23:34Speaker 2: of the pool. He gets out, looks around, and just
- 23:37Speaker 2: right back into the pool. So I was like, all right,
- 23:39Speaker 2: maybe that's where he wants to be.
- 23:40Speaker 1: But they were tweeting. They were a tweet tweet tweeting.
- 23:43Speaker 2: They were tweeting for their mom.
- 23:44Speaker 1: They were tweeting for their mom. So I say to Cynthia.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I was like, Cynthia, did you see that there's ducks
- 23:49Speaker 1: back here? And she goes, oh, yeah, there was like
- 23:51Speaker 1: a mom and all her babies. She shows me a
- 23:54Speaker 1: picture there on the basketball court, just having like a
- 23:56Speaker 1: little heyday back there, shows me the picture, so I
- 23:59Speaker 1: know where they are.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Now we walk back there. I so let me also
- 24:07Speaker 3: reiterate the ducks.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I did not know there were a family of them.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I just saw the one in the pool. So I
- 24:18Speaker 2: went out and tried to help. But Bernice got out
- 24:22Speaker 2: of the house and she she killed two of them.
- 24:29Speaker 2: It's the only way to put it. She killed two
- 24:31Speaker 2: of them.
- 24:32Speaker 1: It makes me so sad.
- 24:33Speaker 2: No, it makes me sad. And here's the thing, like
- 24:35Speaker 2: Pablo I wouldn't even go near, Like he wouldn't even
- 24:39Speaker 2: go outside and Bernice was just out there. And then
- 24:41Speaker 2: after we found the duck in the pool, I was like,
- 24:43Speaker 2: oh no. So I went around the yard and we
- 24:47Speaker 2: found one poor little ducky.
- 24:51Speaker 1: An ocean was out there, and she like runs in
- 24:53Speaker 1: the house and goes and gets like these little snow
- 24:55Speaker 1: mini mouse mittens, like what are you doing? I'm gonna
- 24:59Speaker 1: pay get up. We have to save it. I was like, baby,
- 25:02Speaker 1: it died, and she was like, no, you have to
- 25:03Speaker 1: give it mouth to mouth. I'm like no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 25:05Speaker 1: no no. I was like, it's gone. This is the
- 25:09Speaker 1: backyard where baby things come to die. Remember the squirrel.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I remember the squirrel.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Two days later, guys found another one. Well, I see
- 25:18Speaker 2: Bernice just like in the backyard being weird, being Bernice,
- 25:24Speaker 2: And I was like, something's not right. So I walk
- 25:26Speaker 2: out there and right when I walk out there, she
- 25:28Speaker 2: turns and she has another one in her mouth.
- 25:32Speaker 1: A baby duck.
- 25:33Speaker 2: M hm, baby tweety, a baby tweety. And I looked at.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Her, Oh my god.
- 25:39Speaker 2: She dropped the duck.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Can life get any worse?
- 25:43Speaker 2: And she legs between her tail between her legs, like
- 25:47Speaker 2: legs between her tail. The legs were between betwixt the tail. No,
- 25:52Speaker 2: she sprawled out like a little no, the frogs like
- 25:55Speaker 2: a frog sprawl. She knew any trouble. She kept looking
- 25:59Speaker 2: at it too, And so I had to pick that up.
- 26:02Speaker 2: And I won't lie to you. I looked at Bernice
- 26:04Speaker 2: very differently for a good couple of days.
- 26:06Speaker 1: How could you not?
- 26:08Speaker 2: Oh God, Bernice. The name fits it perfectly too. He
- 26:12Speaker 2: is a Bernice.
- 26:14Speaker 1: It just makes me so again. I thought, after the
- 26:18Speaker 1: squirrel situation, the squirrel situation and then the Palm Springs
- 26:22Speaker 1: house where I killed the lovebirds babies.
- 26:25Speaker 2: That was by accident.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Of course, it was by accident. I would never do
- 26:29Speaker 1: that on purpose, I know.
- 26:29Speaker 2: But we have to reiterate.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Speaking of passing, Archie Badore, Shannon Madore's famous golden retriever
- 26:40Speaker 1: passed away. I am sure she is beside herself. I
- 26:44Speaker 1: mean that was.
- 26:45Speaker 2: How old was her daughter?
- 26:47Speaker 1: I think at least ten. Oh, life is just so sad, man,
- 26:52Speaker 1: what is going on?
- 26:53Speaker 4: I know I cried to Pablo, and I know Shannon Badour,
- 26:56Speaker 4: probably because I look at him and Bernice. I cried
- 27:00Speaker 4: to both of them, and they've lived through everything with me.
- 27:04Speaker 1: I know that feeling.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Yeah, So when they're gone. It's like the chapters really gone.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I remember moments laying on the floor with Lily
- 27:15Speaker 1: and thinking like when this animal goes, I'm gonna be
- 27:19Speaker 1: a rack. Yeah, And I would just saw them and
- 27:21Speaker 1: be like, it's not today. And then when that day came,
- 27:23Speaker 1: I immediately went back to those little special moments. Yea knowing,
- 27:28Speaker 1: but that's why I'm weird about time.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I know that's why Dad did it right. He croaked
- 27:33Speaker 2: before the.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Dog And we listened to one song. We listened to
- 27:40Speaker 1: Angel by Fifth Harmony. I turned down when it says
- 27:43Speaker 1: the fuck word and replace it with mess and Ocean
- 27:47Speaker 1: sits in there, and then the song ends and she
- 27:54Speaker 1: didn't ask for another one, and she was just talking
- 27:55Speaker 1: because you know, she's a talker, and I just sat
- 27:58Speaker 1: there and looked in the rear view. I did pay
- 28:00Speaker 1: attention to the road on occasion, but I was like,
- 28:04Speaker 1: the days are winding down where I'm taking my child
- 28:08Speaker 1: to t K. Then it's going to be kindergarten and
- 28:11Speaker 1: first grade, and like, yes, I know I'm telling you
- 28:14Speaker 1: things that you all know that this is how school works,
- 28:16Speaker 1: but it's the time that fucks me up so badly.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Watching her on my Instagram be terrified of me saying,
- 28:25Speaker 1: Santa Claus is on the phone, you have to pool
- 28:28Speaker 1: all gone gone, you know. I'm like, that was yesterday,
- 28:32Speaker 1: that was that was yesterday, that was not three years ago?
- 28:35Speaker 1: How did I blink and the time just was done?
- 28:39Speaker 2: Right?
- 28:40Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 28:41Speaker 2: When she when she so yeah, but he was like,
- 28:46Speaker 2: where is she? Like? That is she?
- 28:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be There's going to be a day
- 28:52Speaker 1: where she says, where is she?
- 28:53Speaker 2: Like a normal And I'm going to the point of
- 28:56Speaker 2: when you were talking about ocean and I said, where
- 28:59Speaker 2: is she that little version of her where?
- 29:02Speaker 1: Oh, don't make me solve on this podcast. I can't
- 29:05Speaker 1: take it. I really can't take it. Let's move on
- 29:08Speaker 1: to news about Spencer Pratt.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Bro, Do you think that hurt him? What him saying
- 29:15Speaker 2: if he doesn't win, he'll move away from LA Do
- 29:18Speaker 2: you think that.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Hurts you know, I don't understand politics. I look at
- 29:23Speaker 1: things that help or hurt them, and I'm like, I
- 29:26Speaker 1: can't even believe that I'm looking at what I'm looking at.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I'm like, out of all the people on the planet,
- 29:31Speaker 1: and I'm not coming for Spencer. I'm just saying in general,
- 29:34Speaker 1: there are moments where I'm like, these these are the options.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Guys. What do you think about him wanting to do
- 29:42Speaker 2: a reality TV show? That's I think already been done.
- 29:45Speaker 2: I think they've already picked up cameras. They're doing it,
- 29:48Speaker 2: or they did it through his election or electoral.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Let me tell you this, I never talk about who
- 29:52Speaker 1: I vote because it's just not important, right or maybe
- 29:57Speaker 1: it is, depending on how you look at it. I
- 29:58Speaker 1: just I do my thing. I You should have seen
- 30:02Speaker 1: me on chat GPT when I was feeling out at Easton.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I was like, Easton's I need to know what I'm doing,
- 30:10Speaker 1: not like obviously everyone knows, like the mayor.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Although when you're.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Talking about the sixty six the districts.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Like that, we were like, all right, who's in right now?
- 30:22Speaker 2: And does it need change?
- 30:24Speaker 1: Right?
- 30:24Speaker 2: Okay?
- 30:25Speaker 1: The questions.
- 30:25Speaker 4: Then we saw the homework. Yeah, and then we saw
- 30:28Speaker 4: some people that are in. We did research. They're trying
- 30:31Speaker 4: to do a lot of things. Budget isn't there, and
- 30:33Speaker 4: we're like, why can't we got to you know, sometimes
- 30:35Speaker 4: we've got to keep the same person in who is
- 30:37Speaker 4: putting an effort, and things like.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Sheriff's department, does he have any control over what's happening
- 30:42Speaker 1: if there's no funding, Like we really put the pieces
- 30:45Speaker 1: of the puzzles out.
- 30:46Speaker 4: There because guys, what I I mean, I'll get a
- 30:50Speaker 4: little polt, I'll get into politics. It's hard because when
- 30:53Speaker 4: we were casting our vote for like the sheriff, the
- 30:57Speaker 4: new sheriff, I was like, this is so hard because
- 30:59Speaker 4: the only thing that I'm remembering is when Karen Bass
- 31:05Speaker 4: fired the chief of the fire department when all of
- 31:10Speaker 4: the fires were going on, and she was saying that
- 31:13Speaker 4: we had no water, we just had and forgive me
- 31:16Speaker 4: if I'm wrong. It was like seventeen million dollars taken
- 31:18Speaker 4: away from their budget and all of this stuff. So
- 31:20Speaker 4: it's like the fire, like the police, the chief of
- 31:24Speaker 4: police and her like, they could be the best for
- 31:27Speaker 4: that position, and we're voting them out because we don't
- 31:30Speaker 4: think they're doing enough, and it's because their hands are
- 31:32Speaker 4: tied with funding.
- 31:34Speaker 2: So it was hard. It was hard for me. It
- 31:36Speaker 2: was so hard, yeah, because I was like, it's it
- 31:39Speaker 2: doesn't feel right to vote somebody out who is actually
- 31:42Speaker 2: giving their all and being honest. Do you want to
- 31:46Speaker 2: say how I don't feel right voting somebody else in
- 31:49Speaker 2: when you are doing what you can and doing it
- 31:52Speaker 2: pretty well with what you're given. It was tough. It's hard.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I think politics are the hardest thing in the world.
- 31:57Speaker 2: And every time you cast your vote you always think, fuck.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I think there's did I make the right choice? You
- 32:05Speaker 1: want someone in the position. Specific to Spencer Pratt, he
- 32:10Speaker 1: lived it right like he's for the people because he
- 32:12Speaker 1: is the people. However, the man has not one ounce
- 32:15Speaker 1: of but that's experience in politics.
- 32:18Speaker 2: But that's where I love him and he.
- 32:21Speaker 3: No, but he saying that, But he didn't because even
- 32:24Speaker 3: said it with Karen Bass when they were going back and.
- 32:27Speaker 4: Forth, and he was like, I'm not and he goes,
- 32:29Speaker 4: But what I can do is surround myself with amazing
- 32:33Speaker 4: people and an amazing team, just like Karen Bass has.
- 32:36Speaker 2: But my team will care. She just pretends to. Okay,
- 32:40Speaker 2: So it's like that is true, and it's like I
- 32:43Speaker 2: I know right from wrong.
- 32:44Speaker 4: I need to be I need a team around me,
- 32:47Speaker 4: but I can also tell my team that this isn't right.
- 32:49Speaker 4: So it's sometimes having somebody that isn't so smart, but
- 32:52Speaker 4: that can put you in a logical position that makes sense. Right.
- 32:56Speaker 1: I do understand that that there's a lot of cooks
- 32:57Speaker 1: in the kitchen, and then there's one face to the
- 33:00Speaker 1: madness when it comes to the reality show. I don't
- 33:05Speaker 1: love that at all. And you said, well, then we
- 33:07Speaker 1: can see as every move. I'm like, coming from someone
- 33:10Speaker 1: who has been a part of reality TV for a
- 33:13Speaker 1: long time, they can shop and screw that as much
- 33:16Speaker 1: as they freaking want. They can manipulate scenes, they can
- 33:19Speaker 1: whatever they want to do. They can freaking do right,
- 33:21Speaker 1: a reality show, it's not a documentary where it's you know,
- 33:26Speaker 1: like the Crash right where no one who was a
- 33:30Speaker 1: part of that documentary had any control over what was
- 33:33Speaker 1: going to be the final edit. Yeah, it was a
- 33:36Speaker 1: bunch of producers that were watching going, oh, this is
- 33:39Speaker 1: fucking wild that these things are coming. Which I want
- 33:42Speaker 1: to talk about the crash so badly. Oh my god. Okay,
- 33:46Speaker 1: hold on, stick to stick, don't let your add get
- 33:50Speaker 1: the best of you. It doesn't matter. I don't like
- 33:54Speaker 1: the idea of the reality show at all. I think
- 33:57Speaker 1: that that I mean one filming maybe him going you know,
- 34:02Speaker 1: through the race, but if he takes it, stick to
- 34:06Speaker 1: like the job at hand, which is making La a
- 34:10Speaker 1: place that is livable again, Like make it the city.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Don't worry about that.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I moved to You know, you have now traded the
- 34:20Speaker 1: reality hat for being the mayor of Los Angeles. We're
- 34:26Speaker 1: going to need to take that very serious.
- 34:29Speaker 2: That's where I'm at. It's just like it's a very
- 34:31Speaker 2: serious position and throwing cameras at it like a reality
- 34:36Speaker 2: show kind of waters down. I think what the job
- 34:39Speaker 2: title is, and that's what scares me in a sense.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Yeah, the crash was freaking crazy. I want to talk
- 34:58Speaker 1: about it. It's like number on Netflix right now. I'm
- 35:01Speaker 1: sure it'll be number one very soon. You must watch it.
- 35:03Speaker 1: It's about a girl who was driving a car with
- 35:07Speaker 1: her boyfriend and a friend in the back seat. They
- 35:09Speaker 1: crashed into a wall and as time passes, alarm bell
- 35:15Speaker 1: start going off, saying, this doesn't seem like an accident
- 35:17Speaker 1: to me, this seems like murder. Watch it, please, because
- 35:22Speaker 1: I want to talk about it the next time we podcast.
- 35:25Speaker 2: And when we do, we should have asked. We should
- 35:27Speaker 2: have a Q and A with people asking certain things.
- 35:30Speaker 1: You were trying to get this bitch out. She's just
- 35:31Speaker 1: fucking crazy.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Really, okay. See that's where I want to know, and
- 35:34Speaker 2: it's insane. How could you okay?
- 35:37Speaker 1: So I want to read you guys. It was last
- 35:42Speaker 1: week's episode. I talked about Mauricio. He was caught outside
- 35:47Speaker 1: of Crags. He called the paparazzi to Crags so he
- 35:50Speaker 1: can do they like live out there? They live out there.
- 35:54Speaker 1: It was like TMZ who maybe asked him a question
- 35:58Speaker 1: about what I said on my podcast and he calls
- 36:01Speaker 1: me a fucking liar. All right, I first want to say,
- 36:06Speaker 1: this is the exact transcript of what I said on
- 36:09Speaker 1: the podcast. You guys, it has been so good, but
- 36:13Speaker 1: I was so surprised to hear that the Potomac Housewives
- 36:15Speaker 1: had filmed with Mauricio and I believe Chemo sabe and
- 36:19Speaker 1: that a lot of them were like gassing him up
- 36:21Speaker 1: and like flirting with him and talking about how sexy
- 36:24Speaker 1: he is, and then Kyle receiving h like I'm sorries.
- 36:28Speaker 1: I'm literally reading it verbatim, no, like like that was
- 36:31Speaker 1: not cool, and Kyle's absolutely right, And maybe I'm up
- 36:33Speaker 1: in the night with this, but I do feel like
- 36:35Speaker 1: within our little Bravo community, it is like, and especially
- 36:39Speaker 1: with the Housewives, there's some there's some sort of unspoken
- 36:42Speaker 1: sisterhood where you just don't date within the crew, right
- 36:45Speaker 1: mm hmm, even if you're not on the same show,
- 36:47Speaker 1: you'd think you just don't do it. And as Kyle
- 36:50Speaker 1: is talking about like if she wants moBack or like
- 36:54Speaker 1: why they haven't filed for divorce, she's saying that it's
- 36:57Speaker 1: not that she's waiting for him to come back, but
- 36:59Speaker 1: it's more of just like a timing thing, like she's
- 37:02Speaker 1: gonna know when it feels right. But her eye said
- 37:04Speaker 1: something different to me. And when they replayed her talking
- 37:07Speaker 1: about how if they would have chosen the other life
- 37:09Speaker 1: right where he didn't have two Nichols to his name,
- 37:12Speaker 1: but we thought about moving to Colorado, he'd be a
- 37:15Speaker 1: ski instructor, and had we chosen that path, I think
- 37:18Speaker 1: we would still be together. And how did we let
- 37:21Speaker 1: something so beautiful slip away? I just men and women
- 37:25Speaker 1: think so differently, so freaking differently. Because Kyle talking about
- 37:30Speaker 1: how you know she's holding on to the memories she
- 37:33Speaker 1: thought that going to her daughter's weddings or graduations, she
- 37:36Speaker 1: would be with the father of her child. And she
- 37:38Speaker 1: shows up to a holiday party and her not husband's
- 37:41Speaker 1: slash husband is like very much living a single life
- 37:44Speaker 1: and feeling okay about it, and I just can't help
- 37:48Speaker 1: but think, like, are we supposed to like be together
- 37:51Speaker 1: men and women? I don't know anymore, Like what is
- 37:55Speaker 1: the point? You have your kids, you build a life,
- 37:57Speaker 1: and then you know, you run the risk of thirty
- 38:00Speaker 1: years you have literally every single memory of your adult
- 38:03Speaker 1: life and becoming a mother. How in the world does
- 38:05Speaker 1: one party Usually the woman move on from that without
- 38:08Speaker 1: holding on extremely tight, where the man can go out
- 38:11Speaker 1: and just like find women in their twenties and totally
- 38:14Speaker 1: be okay, not even think about the memories. It's just
- 38:17Speaker 1: really really hard to wrap my mind around and reconcile
- 38:19Speaker 1: it because I think about this like brief interaction that
- 38:22Speaker 1: I had with someone, and I'm like, I can't imagine
- 38:24Speaker 1: having thirty years with somebody and it coming to a close.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I'm like wrapped up in my own head. Kyle is
- 38:31Speaker 1: a strong woman, strong, strong woman, And I don't even
- 38:33Speaker 1: know if I should be sharing this. It happened so
- 38:36Speaker 1: long ago. I have to say. When I was doing
- 38:39Speaker 1: the podcast with Easton and my old assistant Jessica, I
- 38:42Speaker 1: got the weirdest DM and I was talking about Kyle
- 38:45Speaker 1: and Mo at the time, and this was like at
- 38:48Speaker 1: the height of them not really knowing what they were doing.
- 38:50Speaker 1: But I got a DM from him saying something along
- 38:52Speaker 1: the lines of, you know, I talk about him on
- 38:54Speaker 1: my podcast and he would like to grab a coffee
- 38:58Speaker 1: and just never opened it or respond like what I mean,
- 39:01Speaker 1: what would you have to talk about? There's not a
- 39:04Speaker 1: chance in maybe trying to convince me that, like what
- 39:07Speaker 1: I was saying, I don't even know it could have
- 39:10Speaker 1: been controlled damage. Oh I say it twice a double down.
- 39:13Speaker 1: I don't really know the point. But I'm certainly not
- 39:15Speaker 1: going to be caught out having coffee with you. No,
- 39:18Speaker 1: that's not going to happen. So many other podcasts that
- 39:21Speaker 1: are talking about this exact same thing. How about we
- 39:24Speaker 1: all will all grab coffee and we can try to
- 39:26Speaker 1: and you can try to win us all over, because
- 39:28Speaker 1: it's not going to look good for you. No, we
- 39:29Speaker 1: certainly not one on one. If you're upset about the podcast.
- 39:33Speaker 1: There's many a podcast that are talking. So we're going
- 39:35Speaker 1: to need to make this a group meeting. He's trying
- 39:37Speaker 1: to put out like one little fire when the whole
- 39:39Speaker 1: mountain's flaming. It's like, buddy, good luck. Okay, So the
- 39:44Speaker 1: claim is that he slid into my DM, and I
- 39:46Speaker 1: went on the podcast last week and talked about how
- 39:50Speaker 1: he asked me out on a date, a coffee date.
- 39:53Speaker 1: With what I just read you, I not once, not
- 39:57Speaker 1: a once, said that he asked me out on a
- 39:59Speaker 1: coffee date. I have the exact DM, the exact DM,
- 40:06Speaker 1: and what's weird is that he wouldn't unsend it. That's
- 40:09Speaker 1: what I would have done. See Hey, La La, how
- 40:11Speaker 1: are you hey? I am wondering since you seem to
- 40:14Speaker 1: have an opinion and speculations about me as to whether
- 40:17Speaker 1: I am a player or not, I would like to
- 40:19Speaker 1: talk to you. Let me know if you are up
- 40:21Speaker 1: for that by phone or happy to get a coffee.
- 40:24Speaker 1: It is literally what I portrayed in the podcast that
- 40:28Speaker 1: you were trying to do control damage control.
- 40:31Speaker 2: You're really on that one. You're really on the control
- 40:33Speaker 2: of damage.
- 40:35Speaker 1: That you were trying to do damage control. I never
- 40:38Speaker 1: said you asked me on a date. I talked about
- 40:40Speaker 1: how I spoke about you and Kyle on the podcast.
- 40:43Speaker 1: You didn't like what I was saying. I not once
- 40:46Speaker 1: said that you asked me out on a date. Let's
- 40:48Speaker 1: talk about you. Now, MO old enough to be my
- 40:52Speaker 1: fucking dad, and you're out at Craigs. Sure a little
- 40:58Speaker 1: sauce calling a thirty five year old a fucking liar
- 41:04Speaker 1: on repeat. I really really had high hopes for you, dog,
- 41:10Speaker 1: but you have continued to show me and everyone else
- 41:15Speaker 1: that no matter how much money you have or how
- 41:17Speaker 1: successful this real estate business is is, you are still
- 41:22Speaker 1: a fucking loser. And I stand on that ten toes
- 41:27Speaker 1: down for you, as a grown man father, a grown
- 41:32Speaker 1: man who is a father to all girls, all girls.
- 41:37Speaker 1: For you to go out and handle this the way
- 41:42Speaker 1: you did, you should feel so embarrassed and ashamed. But
- 41:46Speaker 1: why would someone like you feel embarrassed or ashamed. We've
- 41:49Speaker 1: all seen you out and about doing whatever it is
- 41:51Speaker 1: you do mid life crisis ying, over and over again.
- 41:55Speaker 1: God make it end. No one wants to watch it anymore.
- 41:58Speaker 1: You will not come for me like that. I'm a
- 42:00Speaker 1: lot of things. I'm not a fucking liar. I didn't
- 42:03Speaker 1: lie here. I will not. You will not catch me
- 42:06Speaker 1: deadline because I believe in the universe, and the universe
- 42:09Speaker 1: will always expose the truth. How fucking dare you you
- 42:13Speaker 1: would think that a man who is as old as
- 42:16Speaker 1: you are as old as you are and has a
- 42:20Speaker 1: company that's worth multiple, multiple, multiple, hundreds of millions of
- 42:25Speaker 1: dollars that you would have more to worry about than
- 42:30Speaker 1: the Give Them La La podcast, now known as Untraditionally
- 42:34Speaker 1: La La. I liked midlife crisises when they just involved
- 42:38Speaker 1: a red Corvette. Go get a red corvette, all right?
- 42:41Speaker 1: You guys are amazing. A reminder that a new episode
- 42:44Speaker 1: of Untraditionally La La airs every Wednesday. You can catch
- 42:47Speaker 1: the bonus on Mondays. And don't forget an Unlikely Affair
- 42:51Speaker 1: with Myself and Amber Childers airs every Thursday at nine pm,
- 42:54Speaker 1: or you can catch it the next day. I love you, guys,
- 42:56Speaker 1: Bye bye to be
