- 0:32Speaker 1: He's one of my favorite people I've come across in
- 0:34Speaker 1: the music industry. Usually I meet young artists and they
- 0:37Speaker 1: really annoy the shit out of me, or they're stupid,
- 0:39Speaker 1: or they just don't have like a good head on
- 0:41Speaker 1: their shoulders, or maybe they're being misguided, or you know,
- 0:44Speaker 1: they haven't lived enough life to not be little dickheads.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Nli Chopper, for being an eighteen year old kid man
- 0:50Speaker 1: is just a wise, amazing young man. So we got

- 1:16Speaker 1: get to the NL Choppa Interview Bootlet keVs Show Special
- 1:18Speaker 1: guests Here, I got Nli chopper Man. You know what
- 1:21Speaker 1: it is. We back here. Yeah, the new album is well,
- 1:24Speaker 1: by the time this comes out, it'll be out. First
- 1:27Speaker 1: of all, Yeah, what are you drinking? Seems with spring
- 1:32Speaker 1: water Soul Shasta. The seams came from Honduras. Fun fact,
- 1:38Speaker 1: it came from the same place that doctor Sibby used
- 1:42Speaker 1: to get a lot of his seamus from same dive.
- 1:45Speaker 1: So help me understand. I mean, I do sea moss,
- 1:48Speaker 1: but I take pills. Right, they're probably crunched up. You
- 1:51Speaker 1: said that that's not good for you. It is not
- 1:53Speaker 1: good because the capsules they weakened on immune system because
- 1:56Speaker 1: of what they made out out of you know, some
- 1:58Speaker 1: of them made out of plastic. Another thing. So what
- 2:02Speaker 1: it does is temporarily it works, but over the time
- 2:05Speaker 1: it's hard to you know, get get the plastic and
- 2:08Speaker 1: stuff out of the run. So we're breaking down so
- 2:12Speaker 1: you this is raw seams. You just put it in
- 2:14Speaker 1: the water, and this is your this is your drink. Yeah,
- 2:16Speaker 1: the mas zill is it? Is it? Good's it terrible?
- 2:20Speaker 1: I'm used to it now, you know whatever. I feel
- 2:22Speaker 1: like whatever is good for me. I'm cool with consuming.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I ain't really looking for the taste of it. I'm
- 2:27Speaker 1: just looking for the benefits, you know. I'd like to
- 2:31Speaker 1: point I do think that the first time that people
- 2:33Speaker 1: really got to get a real glance of where you
- 2:37Speaker 1: were at on your health, shit on your as they
- 2:41Speaker 1: call you, Annelie Chakra. I feel like that was when
- 2:45Speaker 1: it came on my show in twenty twenty talk about
- 2:50Speaker 1: just like, uh, you know, how how do you feel
- 2:53Speaker 1: now that you're like, fully, you know, it's been what
- 2:55Speaker 1: a year and some change that you've been living this lifestyle.
- 2:57Speaker 1: How do you feeling? Honestly, I feel I feel the
- 3:00Speaker 1: best I've ever felt. Just knowing my purpose, just knowing
- 3:02Speaker 1: what I'm here for, you know what I'm saying, knowing
- 3:04Speaker 1: that I'm here to impact people, last deeple then just
- 3:07Speaker 1: making music or a song. I feel like I feel like,
- 3:11Speaker 1: you know, I'm just as happy as I ever been
- 3:12Speaker 1: because I know why I'm here, I know me, I
- 3:14Speaker 1: know my son. Yeah. So are you like noticing that
- 3:17Speaker 1: like your fans or people who follow you are starting
- 3:19Speaker 1: to try to implement some more health ship into their life. Helly,
- 3:23Speaker 1: a lot of people, you know, my peers, my family.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Every time I interview with interview, have an interview with somebody,
- 3:30Speaker 1: something they take away that they hit me back or
- 3:32Speaker 1: help find somewhere to reach out and be like, oh,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I took this from you. I've been doing this, you know.
- 3:37Speaker 1: So I feel like just me being vocal about what
- 3:40Speaker 1: I go through today is like help try the world,
- 3:42Speaker 1: help people around you. Know. It's crazy because I think
- 3:45Speaker 1: the first time we met, we're talking and I was like, dude,
- 3:49Speaker 1: you're super talented, got a good head on your shoulders.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I think I met you with your parents on the
- 3:53Speaker 1: radio station. This is right when your ig got taken away.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Yea might have been the same day I was high
- 3:58Speaker 1: as hell today, Yeah, And I was like, man, you know,
- 4:03Speaker 1: you're always up involved in some fucking bullshit on the internet, right,
- 4:08Speaker 1: And I feel like you've matured so much over the
- 4:12Speaker 1: last couple of years. And I feel like mentally you're
- 4:16Speaker 1: in a space where a lot of artists aren't right,
- 4:18Speaker 1: A lot of your peers aren't really where you are.
- 4:21Speaker 1: But it feels like people are just trying to always
- 4:23Speaker 1: drag you, drag you back into old l or just
- 4:27Speaker 1: into some fun shit Like is it hard to not
- 4:31Speaker 1: you know, kind of get back into that mind state,
- 4:34Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I feel like at the
- 4:36Speaker 1: end of the day, whatever I was in the past
- 4:38Speaker 1: is still a part of me. So it's never like
- 4:41Speaker 1: it's never like you grow so much, it's not there normal,
- 4:45Speaker 1: you know, It's still a part of me. So certain
- 4:47Speaker 1: people might get that type of reaction they're looking for
- 4:49Speaker 1: at me, you know, because at the end of the day,
- 4:51Speaker 1: I've grown and that mature. But at the end of
- 4:53Speaker 1: the day, at heart and the soul, I'm the same person.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I'm just more mature than I know how to balance it,
- 4:57Speaker 1: like win to be this person and when be that?
- 5:00Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. So if I'm protecting my name,
- 5:03Speaker 1: my brand, my family, my daughter, my son, whatever, I
- 5:06Speaker 1: am the person that they once knew me for because
- 5:09Speaker 1: at the end of the day, I killed for my family.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I do whatever I gotta do for anybody around me
- 5:13Speaker 1: that I love or anything that I love. Of course,
- 5:16Speaker 1: But it's just about being having a balance of it,
- 5:19Speaker 1: you know, because at the end of the day, it's
- 5:21Speaker 1: gonna come with with you being good, with you being
- 5:23Speaker 1: on what you're doing, with you trying to be positive.
- 5:25Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, That shit gonna come. Negativity, Hey,
- 5:28Speaker 1: it's gonna come because it's just the devil working overtime,
- 5:31Speaker 1: trying to knock you off your pivot. Yeah. And then
- 5:33Speaker 1: I also just feel like, you know, like what the
- 5:37Speaker 1: explain to me is there is there Like I'm assuming
- 5:40Speaker 1: you don't have any issues with young boy. It feels
- 5:42Speaker 1: like he just got issues with everyone. No, I ain't
- 5:44Speaker 1: got issues with nobody, you know. I mean type type
- 5:47Speaker 1: of lifestyle I live. There's no room for that. What
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'm saying, I'm focused on too much to be able
- 5:54Speaker 1: to empower what I got, going to be able to
- 5:56Speaker 1: empower my family, to be able to empower myself, like
- 5:59Speaker 1: this this little kids stuff, you know, this fifth grade stuff.
- 6:03Speaker 1: To me. Now, what I'm saying, we do bigger, better things.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I'm trying to change the world. I ain't got no
- 6:08Speaker 1: problem with nobody. The beef comes from the mind, the
- 6:11Speaker 1: beef and the enemy is the mind. Whatever high move
- 6:14Speaker 1: and pride. You know what I'm saying, that's what it is.
- 6:16Speaker 1: So that's a real shit. You push back your album
- 6:21Speaker 1: a week, Uh Dolphin and uh you know obviously everyone
- 6:24Speaker 1: who was signed the Dolph put out the longer Dolph
- 6:26Speaker 1: project out of respect to Dolf. You guys are from
- 6:29Speaker 1: the same city. What was your guys' relationship? Like, I mean,
- 6:35Speaker 1: I sent him like I sent him two times, but
- 6:37Speaker 1: it wasn't anover a relationship. That was just Bill like
- 6:40Speaker 1: you know, I could call on him or call on me.
- 6:43Speaker 1: But at the end of the day was mutual respect.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You know, I always it wasn't never anything. But at
- 6:48Speaker 1: the end of the day. When I was younger, I
- 6:50Speaker 1: looked up to a lot of these people, like you
- 6:52Speaker 1: know the Yl guyis, I looked up to young Dolph.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I looked up to both of them two camps, because
- 6:57Speaker 1: at the end of the day, with you from Memphis,
- 6:59Speaker 1: it's like who you can signed to if you blow
- 7:01Speaker 1: it right now, you're gonna got it, like to talk,
- 7:04Speaker 1: and I looked up to what they model was how
- 7:07Speaker 1: they did things. And when I blew up instead of
- 7:09Speaker 1: signing to either one, I said, you know what them
- 7:12Speaker 1: guys so now I got my own label. They inspired
- 7:15Speaker 1: you to just yeah, because you stayed Indy, you could
- 7:18Speaker 1: have signed to anybody. For real, that's big. What just
- 7:21Speaker 1: being from Memphis, what it doff mean to the city, Like,
- 7:24Speaker 1: that's a that's a really serious loss man. Independence more
- 7:28Speaker 1: than anything I know from my standpoint, because that's on
- 7:30Speaker 1: my mom teach. You know what I'm saying, anything anybody
- 7:33Speaker 1: to teach what my mom preaching. What I was brought
- 7:35Speaker 1: up on. I rock with so independence and at the
- 7:38Speaker 1: end of the day, family, you know, I feel like
- 7:40Speaker 1: he had he had like two or three kids, he had,
- 7:43Speaker 1: he had a girl. What I'm saying, You're a family person.
- 7:45Speaker 1: So when stuff like that happened, I don't even think
- 7:48Speaker 1: about the person. I think about the family and the kids.
- 7:50Speaker 1: You know, That's where it hit home, and that's where
- 7:52Speaker 1: it hit most at are you Are you still in
- 7:56Speaker 1: Memphis or yeah? I live in Memphis. But if I'm
- 7:59Speaker 1: not a mythh I'm out here a lot of the time.
- 8:01Speaker 1: But I like to create that balance because it's certain
- 8:03Speaker 1: things I want to implement in my city and I
- 8:06Speaker 1: feel like if I'm out of touch with my surrounders
- 8:08Speaker 1: at a city, I won't really know what the city
- 8:10Speaker 1: need right well, I mean, because some people in your
- 8:12Speaker 1: position might leave Menph it's you know, a lot of
- 8:15Speaker 1: people leave their hometown, maybe go to Atlanta, just to
- 8:18Speaker 1: kind of get out the way, because usually you got
- 8:19Speaker 1: more haters in your hometown than anywhere else. So for you,
- 8:23Speaker 1: it was like a conscious decision to stick around because
- 8:25Speaker 1: you want to get back to the city and you
- 8:27Speaker 1: want to make sure you kind of have yeah, and
- 8:29Speaker 1: just know how to move. You know, it's all about
- 8:31Speaker 1: how you move when you in these places. You know,
- 8:34Speaker 1: don't never go out of bounds. I always stay in
- 8:37Speaker 1: your same routine. Whatever you do. If you have to
- 8:39Speaker 1: go out of bounds, don't do it unless you really
- 8:41Speaker 1: have to go somewhere that you don't go every day.
- 8:43Speaker 1: You know, if you ain't eating, if you ain't at
- 8:47Speaker 1: my house, if you ain't in grandma house, be at
- 8:49Speaker 1: home doing what you gotta do. You know what I'm saying,
- 8:51Speaker 1: getting your piece together. Because I can come out here
- 8:54Speaker 1: and I can move around because I know how to work.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I work out here, but if I'm at home, I'm
- 8:58Speaker 1: trying to develop a type of thing in space or
- 9:00Speaker 1: type of piece. So I'm not really in the mix.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I feel like being in the mix, this one stuff
- 9:05Speaker 1: goes wrong. I mean the endbounds out of bounds. There
- 9:07Speaker 1: it is. You were talking earlier that you feel like
- 9:10Speaker 1: you've reached the peak of your meditation. Yeah, so what
- 9:13Speaker 1: explain to me how meditation has been for you? And
- 9:16Speaker 1: just like what is I don't think people understand like
- 9:19Speaker 1: exactly how to do that? Like it's you know what
- 9:22Speaker 1: I mean, like give us that breakdown, and like when
- 9:24Speaker 1: you say you reach the peak of your meditation, what
- 9:26Speaker 1: do you you know, what are you alluding to? So
- 9:28Speaker 1: pretty much like as I mean. Okay, So when I
- 9:30Speaker 1: first started meditating, I was receiving visions same day. I like,
- 9:35Speaker 1: I like meditate and my eyes would light take like lights,
- 9:39Speaker 1: Like I could meditate with a certain type of squint
- 9:42Speaker 1: and my eyes. It was crazy. He used to be
- 9:44Speaker 1: able to take like certain pictures or whatever that was
- 9:46Speaker 1: in my eye sight and bring them together and make
- 9:50Speaker 1: visions out of him. It was crazy. It was like
- 9:52Speaker 1: some shit I've never seen before, Like on one thing,
- 9:56Speaker 1: one thing I cannot remember. It was some delivery company
- 9:59Speaker 1: I think it was X or something, some damn ups
- 10:04Speaker 1: or something. I was looking at it while I was meditating,
- 10:06Speaker 1: and I think I broke down the whole letter and
- 10:09Speaker 1: it made like a symbol. It was like an eye,
- 10:11Speaker 1: and it was like weird. I was breaking down everything,
- 10:15Speaker 1: like my third eye was really moving. I would have dreams.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I have like strong gas dreams where I'd be able
- 10:21Speaker 1: to feel like I was really there. I still have
- 10:23Speaker 1: those dreams, but it was more stronger because it was
- 10:25Speaker 1: something I wasn't the custom to. It wasn't a lifestyle.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It was like getting introduced to it. But now it's
- 10:30Speaker 1: like I still have those dreams, but I don't want
- 10:33Speaker 1: so have like the visions or certain things like that.
- 10:36Speaker 1: But I feel like I just reached the peak of
- 10:39Speaker 1: my independence of meditation. Now I want to implement certain
- 10:42Speaker 1: things like like tribal and meditations, or like meditating with
- 10:47Speaker 1: like a group of people, like certain stuff that can
- 10:49Speaker 1: strengthen what I got going on, like mushrooms yours shrooms too,
- 10:53Speaker 1: or have you ever heard of ayahuasca? Ayahuasca? I have
- 10:56Speaker 1: heard that I have her. They come off a plant. Huh. Yeah,
- 10:59Speaker 1: you got to go to Costa Rica, get a shaman, prepare,
- 11:04Speaker 1: drink that ship and then you know, I heard as
- 11:07Speaker 1: I heard a song to it, resead, is that not
- 11:10Speaker 1: what reset your whole mind? Yeah, that's what they say. Yeah,
- 11:15Speaker 1: it's it's like like I had a friend do it
- 11:17Speaker 1: and he said it was like thirty years of therapy
- 11:19Speaker 1: and like one day. So yeah, ship, that's pretty that's
- 11:24Speaker 1: pretty deep, yo. How are you? I feel like? You know,
- 11:29Speaker 1: I saw the tweet you sent out recently about how
- 11:31Speaker 1: you were saying that when it comes to music, you
- 11:33Speaker 1: can't get that right. Seemed like if you were frustrated
- 11:36Speaker 1: when you sent that tweet, where's your mind? Stay at man?
- 11:40Speaker 1: What was going through your head when that happened? Just
- 11:42Speaker 1: just just what's going on? Honestly? Like first and first
- 11:45Speaker 1: and foremost. It's like it's like never really a frustration
- 11:49Speaker 1: thing to me. It's more so remember this ship, Like
- 11:53Speaker 1: it's just like it's never like, oh man, you were
- 11:57Speaker 1: down on yourself. It's never there. It's more so I like,
- 12:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you, motherfuckers. I can show you better
- 12:03Speaker 1: than I can tell you. I'm gonna be it. You
- 12:05Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I'm not feelna i'ma I'm gonna
- 12:08Speaker 1: let y'all. I had a joke, so I'm gonna let you.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I had a talk, and I'm gonna let y'all had
- 12:11Speaker 1: a science stuff. I'm gonna let y'all do that. But
- 12:15Speaker 1: everything come around for a circle. Motherfucker's gonna they're gonna
- 12:18Speaker 1: be like all that. He said that, and you know,
- 12:20Speaker 1: people gonna be on my dick. Just watch because like
- 12:22Speaker 1: at the end of the day, I look at it
- 12:24Speaker 1: like this. People only see a glimpse of what you
- 12:27Speaker 1: really got going. They don't never see what you're doing
- 12:29Speaker 1: behind the scenes. I work my ass off like every day.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I'm working hard as fun. Like my work ethic is unmatched,
- 12:38Speaker 1: and I can I can vouch like it's unmatched. I
- 12:40Speaker 1: ain't nobody doing what I'm doing. So I know what's
- 12:43Speaker 1: mine is coming to me. I know it's already here.
- 12:45Speaker 1: He's gonna be this year. So I sent there. I said,
- 12:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna make sure I get this tweet out in January.
- 12:51Speaker 1: So when it comes December thirty, first, they gonna say,
- 12:54Speaker 1: God damn, Chop had a hell of a year. It's
- 12:56Speaker 1: gonna be fat and they're gonna remember that tweet. Is
- 12:59Speaker 1: it hard for you to not pay attention to outside
- 13:01Speaker 1: noise or not pay attention to like obviously you're on
- 13:04Speaker 1: social media. You know, I know people some people like
- 13:06Speaker 1: I know that don't they just don't follow nobody. They
- 13:09Speaker 1: don't look at the comments, and you know they kind
- 13:11Speaker 1: of try to step step outside of you know, maybe
- 13:15Speaker 1: just looking at a lot of shit. Yeah, I mean
- 13:17Speaker 1: certain outside noise fuels me. It drives me. I use
- 13:20Speaker 1: it as motivation as far as like getting down. I
- 13:24Speaker 1: get down. Probably I get it. I get the slightest
- 13:26Speaker 1: bit of question and like why, you know what I'm saying.
- 13:29Speaker 1: But with every why, you know, with every question that
- 13:33Speaker 1: I say, why too, It's just it just it developed
- 13:36Speaker 1: some type of drive in my brain and the body
- 13:38Speaker 1: to make me want to keep going anyway, you know
- 13:40Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So I feel I just use it.
- 13:43Speaker 1: It's fuel. It fuels me. If everybody was if everybody
- 13:46Speaker 1: was on my dig, if everybody was good, if everybody
- 13:49Speaker 1: was cool what I was doing, I'd be relaxed. I'd
- 13:51Speaker 1: be if you're doing good. This shit gonna come so
- 13:55Speaker 1: uh this year, man, you said you're gonna have a
- 13:57Speaker 1: crazy twenty twenty two. Obviously the album is out, so
- 14:00Speaker 1: go get the album. If you're watching this, it's already out.
- 14:03Speaker 1: But what else? I mean, how are you dropping just
- 14:05Speaker 1: a ton of music this year? You got you know what?
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm dropping a ton of music. I'm dropping a ton
- 14:09Speaker 1: of gems. I'm doing a lot outside of music with
- 14:13Speaker 1: TV shows, movies. I'm minim know what I'm saying. Herbs,
- 14:16Speaker 1: People need herbs, come to me? Whatever are you? Are
- 14:19Speaker 1: you hustling the health? Are we moving some herbs in
- 14:22Speaker 1: these streets and seas? I've been doing it last year.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I moved a lot of herbs. I had a website
- 14:28Speaker 1: in itally health and Willness. You can check it out.
- 14:30Speaker 1: You got sea malls. I got herbal viagra. I got
- 14:33Speaker 1: herbal viagra. Yes, sir? Is that like at the ship
- 14:37Speaker 1: at the gas station? No, it's better like the rhino pill.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Is the honey Patrick though. It's like a powder. You know,
- 14:43Speaker 1: they say that stuff's natural. I don't believe thematural. If
- 14:46Speaker 1: it's in the gas lation, not natural. Show you something this.
- 14:49Speaker 1: You've tested the herbal viagra, Yes, sir? And it works, Yes, sir,
- 14:53Speaker 1: your ladies here it works. She ain't. She ain't felt
- 14:58Speaker 1: that out, you know. Honestly, seems a herbal viag or
- 15:02Speaker 1: to itself really shout out to seems. Anything Semas doesn't do,
- 15:08Speaker 1: will it change my oil? I'm just playing, I know
- 15:11Speaker 1: what you're telling me. I mean, I'm just I'm just
- 15:13Speaker 1: being a dead But now for real though, Yeah, it's
- 15:17Speaker 1: a natural. It's pretty much a natural viag too. So
- 15:19Speaker 1: you drink seamas, get hard on pretty nicely. No, it's
- 15:23Speaker 1: just it helps your endurance in a big Okay, get
- 15:26Speaker 1: hard off of it. But when you want to think
- 15:28Speaker 1: about your gress, what I think of you know, six
- 15:31Speaker 1: and hands and then you know, listen, there's this whole
- 15:33Speaker 1: wave of motherfucker's talking about not busting nuts, seeming retention,
- 15:38Speaker 1: semen retention, Kevin Gates, talk about it, Joey bad I
- 15:42Speaker 1: talk about you, talk about it. Please elaborate. No, it's
- 15:46Speaker 1: good for you, first and foremost, your your ejaculation is life.
- 15:55Speaker 1: So once you give a part of life away, you
- 16:00Speaker 1: lose a part of life. You know, I tell everybody
- 16:03Speaker 1: these example, with one niche, you can run eight miles.
- 16:06Speaker 1: It's like the equivalent to eight miles, you know what
- 16:08Speaker 1: I mean? The mouths. You know how many footsteps that is?
- 16:11Speaker 1: Really one neck can make a whole child. You think
- 16:14Speaker 1: you can't, you can't. You know what I'm saying, you
- 16:17Speaker 1: can't go to extra male or do your work or
- 16:19Speaker 1: do extra stuff within that. You know what I'm saying,
- 16:21Speaker 1: So it's better to keep it in and you feel better,
- 16:25Speaker 1: like just go on to similar retention, like you how long?
- 16:29Speaker 1: Just try? Like how do you? Guy? Six? I mean
- 16:32Speaker 1: often I married. My wife's beautiful. We be fucking you
- 16:35Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, So like, just try. I feel
- 16:38Speaker 1: like my wife would be offended if I didn't come now,
- 16:40Speaker 1: She'd be like what the fuck And I'd be like, no,
- 16:42Speaker 1: I'm ely chopper. Eighteen year old kids told me, yea,
- 16:48Speaker 1: do seemen retention? So okay, So is it hard to
- 16:53Speaker 1: like not get your ship off. You got to have
- 16:58Speaker 1: a goal. If you put a goal in place, if
- 17:00Speaker 1: you be like, okay, this week, I want to record
- 17:03Speaker 1: seven songs and this is like a song today. You know,
- 17:08Speaker 1: if that's your goal, attack it. You know what I'm saying.
- 17:11Speaker 1: But with you having six and bus on the hunter
- 17:13Speaker 1: and that it might not be possible. Because let me
- 17:16Speaker 1: make it more realistic. I'm gonna speak on my terms,
- 17:18Speaker 1: like I try to record three songs a night, if
- 17:21Speaker 1: I'm if I'm in for a week, if I got
- 17:23Speaker 1: a week recording, says, So I'm trying to do three songs.
- 17:25Speaker 1: There's twenty one songs in one week. That's a that's
- 17:28Speaker 1: an our album, two albums. So you know what I'm saying,
- 17:31Speaker 1: If that's my focus, if that's my approach going into
- 17:34Speaker 1: that week, I can't have six because I'm gonna be
- 17:36Speaker 1: too tired. I want certain hours that's gonna be knocked
- 17:40Speaker 1: off with each a certain hour be knocked off. So
- 17:44Speaker 1: once you develop a goal or focus some to drive towards,
- 17:48Speaker 1: I feel like that's when you implement it, you know,
- 17:51Speaker 1: So when you are doing retention seeming retention and then
- 17:55Speaker 1: you still fuck right, I'm just trying to understand this.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I haven't done it to where I'm fucking and like,
- 18:00Speaker 1: so you'll just be celibate. Yeah, ok I'm not fucking
- 18:04Speaker 1: and I'm like, I'm not sometimes because I'm just wondering
- 18:07Speaker 1: if that's the case. When do you know when it's over? No,
- 18:11Speaker 1: I ain't got the you know, like when you're like,
- 18:12Speaker 1: all right, you're good because I'm I'm this okay, okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 18:16Speaker 1: So you just have to you tell wife, he like, hey,
- 18:18Speaker 1: look the next week I'm chilling. I got an album
- 18:21Speaker 1: to finish. I got a marathon I'm training for. That's
- 18:27Speaker 1: why boxers aren't supposed to boxing. No sports. Well, you
- 18:31Speaker 1: know they say you can't, you can't funck before you
- 18:33Speaker 1: fight because it's like it fucks with your endurance and likes.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Did Yeah, Well, Tyson also fought on. He fought on
- 18:40Speaker 1: fucking d M T and shrooms and weed and cocaine
- 18:44Speaker 1: and he did that whole last fight with Roy Jones Junior,
- 18:47Speaker 1: highest fucking balls or was it. Yeah, a recent one
- 18:52Speaker 1: was Roy Jones, so no he was. He was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, Tyson,
- 18:58Speaker 1: I think yeah, and these that's great, it's great. Yo.

- 19:54Speaker 1: would you with kind of I was just talking to
- 19:58Speaker 1: do you know who D Smoke is? D Smoke? He
- 20:01Speaker 1: was on Netflix Rhythm and Flow. He won the show
- 20:03Speaker 1: and he got nominated for a Grammy last year. He's
- 20:06Speaker 1: a rapping from La. But we were talking about just
- 20:10Speaker 1: the how rappers. The new bag to get is you
- 20:14Speaker 1: could get a boxing bag, Go get a pay per
- 20:16Speaker 1: view bag. Would you ever entertain doing that? You know,
- 20:19Speaker 1: for you know, let's say maybe an undercard on a fight.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I don't really have no reason to do that. What
- 20:25Speaker 1: if it was a million dollars that'd be a recently.
- 20:28Speaker 1: They don't really move for money. But like, I don't know,
- 20:32Speaker 1: I jump in the ring and get somebody want to fight?
- 20:34Speaker 1: If I want to fight somebody, yeah, would you like
- 20:37Speaker 1: if somebody like, hey, I got a million for you
- 20:39Speaker 1: to fight him? Like, ain't no draft. It would have
- 20:42Speaker 1: to be someone you'd actually want to fight. I want
- 20:44Speaker 1: to kno, hm, that's fair. I just can't know. Then
- 20:50Speaker 1: there's a lot of dedication because whatever you got to train,
- 20:53Speaker 1: I want to train. I'm gonna want to try. I
- 20:55Speaker 1: ain't fnna try to go in there with just if
- 20:58Speaker 1: past street fights. I want to be able to really
- 21:01Speaker 1: go to distance because I get tired or what. So
- 21:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna really have to train. I'm gonna have to
- 21:04Speaker 1: take this part of my life off and do this.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I ain't really ready for that. If I get older,
- 21:09Speaker 1: if I'm the did everything I had to do when
- 21:12Speaker 1: my ears, did everything I had to do with my music,
- 21:14Speaker 1: did everything I had to do with TV, food truck,
- 21:17Speaker 1: all this stuff, all this stuff is running well. Then yeah,
- 21:21Speaker 1: but you got a food truck Beagan food truck? Was
- 21:24Speaker 1: it in Memphis? Nice? How was I mean? Because the
- 21:28Speaker 1: restaurant industry is obviously a hard industry to get into,
- 21:31Speaker 1: right hard, but the food truck eliminates a lot of
- 21:34Speaker 1: overheady simpler Yeah, yeah, it's going well though, Yeah it's
- 21:38Speaker 1: going good. I broke it out like five times. I'm
- 21:40Speaker 1: trying to get it. I'm trying to get a consistent
- 21:42Speaker 1: team on it to where we can just have it flowing.
- 21:44Speaker 1: But this year is gonna happen. It's gonna be real consistent.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I could see you doing like a eventually a nationwide
- 21:51Speaker 1: vegan fast food chain. What come on? Yeah, for sure,
- 21:54Speaker 1: that's just it's just small steps. Start off like that
- 21:58Speaker 1: so I can learn that master that then moved to
- 22:01Speaker 1: like restaurants, put some in the city. That's why I
- 22:03Speaker 1: want to stay in the city. I want to put
- 22:05Speaker 1: like vegan restaurants. I feel like, with me just changing
- 22:08Speaker 1: my dad, my mind sets chined. So a lot of
- 22:10Speaker 1: niggas in my city vegan. The crying way might just
- 22:13Speaker 1: decrease a little bit. Niggas might start thinking a little different.
- 22:16Speaker 1: You might be right. I think vegan people are more peaceful,
- 22:18Speaker 1: Yeah for sure. For show, I mean, at least all
- 22:21Speaker 1: the ones I know, when's the last time you eat?
- 22:24Speaker 1: You have? You slipped up and had any meat. Meat.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Last time I had meat, I accidentally ate some beans
- 22:31Speaker 1: with some crump meat crumbles in it. Uh. I was
- 22:36Speaker 1: in the airport and then I didn't know it was
- 22:38Speaker 1: beefing there, but like after the third bite, I recognized
- 22:41Speaker 1: it with beef. So you were was fucked up on
- 22:43Speaker 1: the plane. You weren't like craving wings and we're like,
- 22:46Speaker 1: fuck it, give me some chicken wings this one time. No,
- 22:49Speaker 1: I won't be right with myself. I'll be lying on myself.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Do you miss what do you miss the most? That's
- 22:55Speaker 1: you don't miss any of the dos. Not everything that
- 22:57Speaker 1: I eat vegan. It's an alternative to what I used
- 23:00Speaker 1: to be a custom to. Some of that shit tastes
- 23:02Speaker 1: like rubber. Though, Man, you just gotta season it right, man.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Some of that some of that fake those fake chicken nuggets,
- 23:09Speaker 1: something like the plant based or ship Yeah, I stay
- 23:12Speaker 1: away from those. It's still that stuff is process is
- 23:17Speaker 1: a science experiment. So I try to stay away from
- 23:20Speaker 1: a lot of the I don't know what to call it,
- 23:24Speaker 1: but it's like it's processed food. It's not the real
- 23:27Speaker 1: it's not it's frozen, it's boxed up and the real
- 23:30Speaker 1: ship you know, I try to have like real natural ship.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I really, I'm really trying to move towards alkaline, you know,
- 23:36Speaker 1: but I feel like a lot of people that alkaline
- 23:38Speaker 1: you have to have a shelf with you. What then
- 23:41Speaker 1: does that mean alkaline? I mean like it's nothing just
- 23:44Speaker 1: really processed. It's more so everything so here it's like raw,
- 23:47Speaker 1: like raw food and not just raw, but like everything
- 23:50Speaker 1: is it's just PhD pH is higher than seven. Couldn't
- 23:54Speaker 1: you just drink a whole lot of pH water? But
- 23:57Speaker 1: then like what I'm gonna eat? I'm just being I'm
- 23:58Speaker 1: just being ignorant, I know, yeah, like let me just
- 24:02Speaker 1: go get a bunch of a of a centia. And
- 24:05Speaker 1: that's another thing watched the spring water there's sensu and
- 24:08Speaker 1: the fucking what's the other water? A little blue one? Well,
- 24:14Speaker 1: the worst water is aquafina and the sani that ship
- 24:17Speaker 1: tastes like says spring water. Oh dumb ass boy, Oh
- 24:21Speaker 1: Evian that too, Fiji, Fiji, those three lights watch out
- 24:26Speaker 1: for those like they say it's higher in pH or alkaline,
- 24:29Speaker 1: and it's only alkaline because of the fucking bacon soda.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Baking soda makes water alkaline, so you know, how much
- 24:37Speaker 1: is this bottle of water? This is caused a lot.
- 24:39Speaker 1: It's bottle and glass, no plastic in it to fuck
- 24:43Speaker 1: up the water and the minerals in it. So everything
- 24:45Speaker 1: is like a nine dollars bottle of water. I don't know.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I buy it by the case. Oh so this is
- 24:50Speaker 1: like your water. No, this is this a story? I mean,
- 24:53Speaker 1: but they need to I need to bro I need
- 24:55Speaker 1: an endorsement. I push this water. Ah. Yeah, I'm surprised
- 24:58Speaker 1: you don't have any endorsements of like some of these like, uh,
- 25:01Speaker 1: you know, healthy places. I gotta meet. I gotta meet
- 25:04Speaker 1: CEO for sure. I pushed this shit because this is
- 25:07Speaker 1: all I drink on the matter. Here. You don't get
- 25:09Speaker 1: a ship to you to Memphis. I tried once, and
- 25:12Speaker 1: a lot of them busted because of the glass. Yeah,
- 25:15Speaker 1: but I try to. I pack them in my suitcase
- 25:17Speaker 1: real good when I'm flying back. Yo. That I know
- 25:22Speaker 1: you've already spoken about it. But the incident that happened
- 25:24Speaker 1: at the airport that went viral, which is just by
- 25:26Speaker 1: the way, some of the fuck boys shit will happen,
- 25:28Speaker 1: not on your behalf. Obviously, having like some shit like
- 25:32Speaker 1: that happened, does it just make you like, like a
- 25:34Speaker 1: little bit paranoid moving around because I feel like when
- 25:37Speaker 1: you're popular, not just you, just anybody. You're like, anybody
- 25:42Speaker 1: can try to go viral off of just putting you
- 25:44Speaker 1: in a fucking stupid situation, and it's got to be like,
- 25:49Speaker 1: I mean, I'd be fucking paranoid after some shit like
- 25:51Speaker 1: that happened. I mean, it's a society we living in, bro,
- 25:55Speaker 1: you just got to embrace it. Everybody got a phone,
- 25:58Speaker 1: everybody won't sometime type of cloud or whatever on stuff
- 26:02Speaker 1: like that happened, so you can move according to and
- 26:05Speaker 1: improve What was wrong? Why did he get that close?
- 26:09Speaker 1: It's just some symbol like making sure security with you seven,
- 26:12Speaker 1: not because you're scared of somebody coming, because you're smart,
- 26:15Speaker 1: you got a family, because like you know, because because
- 26:17Speaker 1: what if it what if it was somebody who was
- 26:19Speaker 1: actually what if somebody what if he had a gun? Yeah,
- 26:22Speaker 1: you know we was reacting in the rental car cinema,
- 26:25Speaker 1: so it was you could have had a gun. You know,
- 26:27Speaker 1: what if that was the case. What if it was
- 26:29Speaker 1: somebody else? It was really a threat? You know, So guy,
- 26:33Speaker 1: just do that to let you know for this your year,
- 26:36Speaker 1: you're Finlah had one of the best years of your life.
- 26:38Speaker 1: You need to have make sure that you are security
- 26:41Speaker 1: where you go. So that was just he he gave
- 26:43Speaker 1: me a lot of little test runs and ship this
- 26:45Speaker 1: whole month to let me know that this year is
- 26:48Speaker 1: going to be amazing, because this whole this whole month
- 26:50Speaker 1: been held for me, honestly, but he's doing it to
- 26:54Speaker 1: let me peep all the flaws and in the circle
- 26:56Speaker 1: and everything that's going on so I can improve it.
- 26:59Speaker 1: So when it further down the line, when I'm in
- 27:01Speaker 1: September and something like this was to happen or you
- 27:04Speaker 1: know whatever, We'll be ready to handle it, you know.
- 27:09Speaker 1: And then we had talked to except Blackboy JB was here,
- 27:12Speaker 1: and I know we talked before in our interview and
- 27:14Speaker 1: you said he was one of the OG's in Memphis
- 27:16Speaker 1: that had kind of fuck with you early on. Is
- 27:18Speaker 1: there anybody who's coming up who you've kind of taken
- 27:22Speaker 1: a liking to, who you've maybe given some advice. I know,
- 27:24Speaker 1: I know you spoke about a conversation you have with
- 27:26Speaker 1: King Vaughan, right, but I just mean in general, like,
- 27:29Speaker 1: is there any up and coming artists that you just
- 27:31Speaker 1: are a fan? Of that, maybe you've reached out to
- 27:32Speaker 1: or had some like some dope conversations with Maybe give
- 27:35Speaker 1: me some game. I got three artists on my label
- 27:39Speaker 1: from the city, one of them from Arkansas, one of
- 27:42Speaker 1: them from Mississippi, and the other ones from South Memphis.
- 27:46Speaker 1: But they're all pretty much from Memphis because this where
- 27:48Speaker 1: they operated. So I feel like Folk, I'm Draco, Baby
- 27:52Speaker 1: Hot and Gino two times, those those three right there,
- 27:56Speaker 1: like they the face of pretty much was coming. Because
- 27:59Speaker 1: I'm not just saying it because they are on my label.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I'm saying it because like I wouldn't put nobody on
- 28:04Speaker 1: my fucking label if you're not talented and I don't
- 28:06Speaker 1: see no driving you. So I just want to let
- 28:09Speaker 1: y'all know, not only is it gonna be a great
- 28:11Speaker 1: year for me, it's gonna be a great year for
- 28:13Speaker 1: in Eli as a whole. My producer also beats by Draco.
- 28:17Speaker 1: So indeed, them folk guys right there, I bet the
- 28:21Speaker 1: bank on him. I bet thank on him. That's big.
- 28:25Speaker 1: What is what are what's like some of the things
- 28:27Speaker 1: that you know you you kind of try to I mean,
- 28:29Speaker 1: you've experienced this shit as a kid, Like how long
- 28:32Speaker 1: would you turn eighteen. No, I'm nineteen. You're nineteen now.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I just turned nineteen November. First both time flages ye
- 28:39Speaker 1: on me jesus, I was like seventeen when I was
- 28:43Speaker 1: with you when I first game. No, I think you
- 28:45Speaker 1: are sixteen the first time I interviewed you last year.
- 28:49Speaker 1: You might, you know, because I interviewed you in like
- 28:53Speaker 1: the first time July twenty twenty. Here, Yeah, that was seventeen,
- 28:57Speaker 1: and then in twenty nineteen we interviewed you. Me damn,
- 29:00Speaker 1: that's crazy. But what what what like for your artists?
- 29:04Speaker 1: What do you tell them, like the things to look
- 29:06Speaker 1: out for, maybe some advice, some ship that like you,
- 29:08Speaker 1: you kind of had to learn the hard way, bro man.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Just just watch how you talk to people, Watch how
- 29:13Speaker 1: you deal with people. You know you can your emotions
- 29:16Speaker 1: can be feeling one way, but try to have I
- 29:18Speaker 1: let one of my artists know that the most, because
- 29:20Speaker 1: he'd be he'd be going through it. What is baby
- 29:23Speaker 1: mama system manager or whatever it is? Just tell him wait, wait,
- 29:27Speaker 1: wait wait, these are different people, right. I just want
- 29:30Speaker 1: to make sure that his baby Mama's sister and manager
- 29:32Speaker 1: aren't the same person, because that'd be interesting. Well, it
- 29:36Speaker 1: pretty much is so his baby mama and his system.
- 29:40Speaker 1: That's the least of a concern though. But this is
- 29:42Speaker 1: not one human Okay, I'm sorry. It's just it's just
- 29:45Speaker 1: a lot of it is the South. I had to
- 29:46Speaker 1: ask continue. It's just a lot of things. It's just
- 29:49Speaker 1: a lot of things on you know what I'm saying,
- 29:51Speaker 1: from different people. You just got to watch out from
- 29:53Speaker 1: you know. Just know, everybody ain't got your best interesting.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Everybody don't want to see you, you know, full of
- 29:57Speaker 1: your full of your reshow, full of potential. So just
- 30:00Speaker 1: be on the lookout for it. Keep your head up,
- 30:02Speaker 1: stay smooth, and stay out of trouble. That's the best
- 30:05Speaker 1: thing you could do. As long as you staying out
- 30:06Speaker 1: of trouble. You at the way you in the studio,
- 30:08Speaker 1: you're doing what's right. So what was the one Like,
- 30:11Speaker 1: was there like a catalyst to you changing the way
- 30:14Speaker 1: you move, maybe changing like some of your behavior, staying
- 30:17Speaker 1: the fuck out the way, staying out of trouble, staying
- 30:19Speaker 1: out of the fuck shit. Like, was there a single
- 30:21Speaker 1: like event or something that had happened there, something that
- 30:23Speaker 1: you remember happening where you were like, man, I gotta
- 30:26Speaker 1: I gotta really chill out, man, Just watching how the
- 30:28Speaker 1: world is right now, Just watching a place where everybody
- 30:31Speaker 1: is what I'm saying, Just taking note of your surroundings,
- 30:34Speaker 1: taking notes of what you're saying every day. You know
- 30:36Speaker 1: what I'm saying. This is all I can do. I
- 30:38Speaker 1: can move a corder about like how how I view things,
- 30:41Speaker 1: you know, or what I feel. So just just personal
- 30:45Speaker 1: experiences and just watching other shit happen. Who else on
- 30:48Speaker 1: the album? I got Young Thug, I got you Herbo
- 30:55Speaker 1: Polo G. Yeah, money Babe, Me and money Bait just
- 31:05Speaker 1: dropped out a single. I saw that. Yeah, that's the
- 31:08Speaker 1: hell of a hell of a lineup. It was great.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Was there anyone who you were trying to get on
- 31:14Speaker 1: the album? But maybe because of the deadlines it didn't
- 31:16Speaker 1: work out? Smart? It was about the only person. He
- 31:21Speaker 1: was the only person that was about it. Smart. Were
- 31:26Speaker 1: you in the studio with these or was it just
- 31:27Speaker 1: were you sending the records out? People sending the records
- 31:29Speaker 1: out and it was just knocking them out. Yeah, they
- 31:32Speaker 1: got them done. On me twenty twenty two, Man, nobody's
- 31:35Speaker 1: getting the studio together hardly ever. On me, it ain't
- 31:39Speaker 1: working like that. We just had blue Face up here
- 31:41Speaker 1: and I told him the first time I ever really
- 31:44Speaker 1: thought that he was improving as a rapper was on
- 31:48Speaker 1: that on the on the Remax, he did the remix
- 31:50Speaker 1: with you, and I was like, Yo, that song made
- 31:55Speaker 1: me be like, oh, maybe you aren't a terrible rapper
- 31:57Speaker 1: on any more music with blue Face coming, because I
- 32:02Speaker 1: know you guys are maybe like there was some sort
- 32:03Speaker 1: of flirtation. Maybe I'll do some more ship together, like
- 32:06Speaker 1: I mean yeah, I mean yeah, for show, you got
- 32:10Speaker 1: to get him on your health ship and just get
- 32:12Speaker 1: him out of the just get him off only fans, bros.
- 32:18Speaker 1: He's turning up on only fans. This bitches is fighting
- 32:21Speaker 1: every day and there's a toothless woman who says she's pray.
- 32:24Speaker 1: It's it's it's it's it's insane. Anything else, man, Obviously
- 32:29Speaker 1: you're talking about TV. You said you got TV ship
- 32:32Speaker 1: coming this year's works acting, So what TV do you watch? Like?
- 32:39Speaker 1: What what's like in your rotation at the crib. That's
- 32:42Speaker 1: that I don't watch TV. You don't watch TV nothing,
- 32:46Speaker 1: don't play video games? So he plays on YouTube. Yeah,
- 32:51Speaker 1: YouTube is like my cable. I don't know. You don't
- 32:54Speaker 1: really need anything but YouTube. You can get anything you
- 32:56Speaker 1: want on there? Netflix? What's your YouTube history? Like in
- 33:01Speaker 1: the lead shop of reaction for videos. I just like
- 33:04Speaker 1: to watch people talk about me, see what I can improve,
- 33:07Speaker 1: what I can't? You say you watch Netflix, so that's TV?
- 33:10Speaker 1: What the fuck you watch on Netflix? Movies? Horror movies whatever?
- 33:14Speaker 1: Someone set the movie? No TV series though? No, Like
- 33:16Speaker 1: you don't get into the episodic shows. The Kevin Hart
- 33:21Speaker 1: one Oh with Wesley Snipes? Was it good? I've heard
- 33:26Speaker 1: about this. It was real good. Never seen Ozark? You
- 33:30Speaker 1: gotta watch Ozark. It's on Netflix. That's just that's it's crazy.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Some cartel ship's pretty wild. Well with the album out,
- 33:38Speaker 1: go get it? Uh you just dropped it. Well. First
- 33:41Speaker 1: of all, again, this is the video is not out
- 33:45Speaker 1: yet technically, but when people watch this, there's gonna be
- 33:47Speaker 1: a video out so which this video is already shot,
- 33:54Speaker 1: editing waiting on the color. You know what's crazy? Your
- 33:58Speaker 1: videos are always extremely fire like. There's a few people
- 34:02Speaker 1: who always have just consistent visuals. Is that all from
- 34:04Speaker 1: your brain? Are you coming up these contexts? Video? That's
- 34:08Speaker 1: big man? Now you're superhands on, like you're like, I like, bro,
- 34:11Speaker 1: we gotta get this shit. Colored, and most people wouldn't.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Even most artists ain't. Ain't hands on with their ship
