Trusting Beyond Knowing - Bishop T.D. Jakes - The Potter’s House of Dallas. · THE WORLD'S BEST PREACHER

• 0:12
Speaker 1: I want you to go to the Gospel of Saint Matthew,
• 0:14
Speaker 1: chapter twenty one, verse two through nine, a very predictable,
• 0:19
Speaker 1: unpracticable text, considering that we have just stepped into Holy Week,
• 0:27
Speaker 1: and it is introduced to us through a rite in
• 0:29
Speaker 1: a memorial of Palem, what we call Palm Sunday. And
• 0:38
Speaker 1: I always preach occasional messages, but indulge me this morning,
• 0:45
Speaker 1: and I share with you the oracles of God. I
• 0:48
Speaker 1: have found that the flowers shall fade and the grass
• 0:51
Speaker 1: with a but the word of the Lord shall stand forever.
• 0:57
Speaker 2: When you have it, say man saying unto them.
• 1:03
Speaker 1: Go into the village over against you, and straightway he
• 1:08
Speaker 1: should find an ass tied and a colt with her.
• 1:12
Speaker 1: Loose them and bring them unto me. And if any
• 1:19
Speaker 1: man say aught unto you, you shall say, the Lord
• 1:23
Speaker 1: have need of them, and straightway he will send them. All.
• 1:28
Speaker 1: This was done careful, now that it might be fulfilled,
• 1:32
Speaker 1: which was spoken by the prophet saying, tell ye the
• 1:37
Speaker 1: daughters of Sion, and behold thy thing cometh unto thee meek,
• 1:44
Speaker 1: And sitting upon an ass and a colt the foal
• 1:48
Speaker 1: of an ass and the disciples went and did as
• 1:52
Speaker 1: Jesus commanded them, and brought the ass and the colt,
• 1:56
Speaker 1: and put on them their clothes. And they set him thereon,
• 2:02
Speaker 1: and a very great multitude spread their garments in the way.
• 2:07
Speaker 1: Others cut down branches from the trees and strewed them
• 2:13
Speaker 1: in the path. And the multitudes that went before and
• 2:18
Speaker 1: that followed crying, saying Hadana to the son of David.
• 2:26
Speaker 1: Best is he that cometh in the name of the
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: Lord Halana.
• 2:32
  Speaker 2: In the highest?
• 2:35
Speaker 1: Can you say, men, I want to use an odd subject,
• 2:39
Speaker 1: but hopefully before I finish, I'll weave it together in
• 2:42
Speaker 1: some symmetrical ideology that helps you to understand the profundity
• 2:47
Speaker 1: of what I'm about to say. I want to talk
• 2:50
Speaker 1: about trusting beyond knowledge, or trusting beyond knowing. It's one
• 2:59
Speaker 1: thing to know, and that's another thing to trust. Jesus
• 3:02
Speaker 1: told Thomas, you have believed because you have seen. But
• 3:06
Speaker 1: blessed are they who have not seen, and yet they believe.
• 3:11
Speaker 1: Spirit of the Living God full of fresh on us.
• 3:14
Speaker 1: As we open up the book and delve into your word,
• 3:16
Speaker 1: I thank you. I thank you for what you're about
• 3:19
Speaker 1: to do. I thank you for your presence and your
• 3:22
Speaker 1: glory and your impact and your naingty, and I invite
• 3:25
Speaker 1: your presidence to have your way in this place in
• 3:28
Speaker 1: a supernatural way. In the name of Jesus, we pray Amen,
• 3:34
Speaker 1: you may be seated.
• 3:37
Speaker 2: Now, much to your surprise.
• 3:38
Speaker 1: The early Church, the Apostles, Peter James, John Paul, Bartholomew, Thomas,
• 3:48
Speaker 1: Matthew knew nothing of Palm Sunday. It was not a holiday,
• 3:58
Speaker 1: it was not something that was commemorated it every year.
• 4:02
Speaker 1: It was four centuries after Jesus had departed before we
• 4:06
Speaker 1: begin to recognize this as a day of memorial to
• 4:11
Speaker 1: commemorate what the traditional Jews understood as to be a
• 4:19
Speaker 1: messianic sign of the coming of the Son of David.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: Their king is coming, and for them, on a very
• 4:29
Speaker 1: practical level, that meant that their oppressor was defeated.
• 4:35
  Speaker 2: And you must.
• 4:36
Speaker 1: Understand that we are all looking at the same scene,
• 4:40
Speaker 1: but we are seeing it from different perspectives. It's amazing
• 4:45
Speaker 1: how a group of people can get excited about the
• 4:48
Speaker 1: same thing but have different points of view. They'd always
• 4:54
Speaker 1: understand what is at state, but the disciples did. Because
• 5:01
Speaker 1: people who walk really close with a leader, I are
• 5:06
Speaker 1: privy to information that other people don't have. They know
• 5:10
Speaker 1: sometimes when, for instance, I'm preaching as we travel across
• 5:14
Speaker 1: the country, they know when I'm jet lag, they know
• 5:17
Speaker 1: when I'm sick, they know when things aren't going good,
• 5:20
Speaker 1: they know when I'm worried about. Some of the audience
• 5:22
Speaker 1: doesn't know it, but the people who are closest to
• 5:25
Speaker 1: you really get to know you, and in some way
• 5:28
Speaker 1: they become a kind of family. Several years ago, I
• 5:33
Speaker 1: went to Whitney Houston's funeral and I was moved by
• 5:36
Speaker 1: her mother and her daughter who was living at the time,
• 5:39
Speaker 1: and their remarks and all the things that people said,
• 5:42
Speaker 1: her aunt, who presided over different aspects of it. All
• 5:45
Speaker 1: of it was touching. But when her band stood up
• 5:49
Speaker 1: and started talking, I found it difficult to hold back
• 5:52
Speaker 1: my tears because I know what it is to travel
• 5:56
Speaker 1: with somebody, and when you travel all over the world,
• 5:58
Speaker 1: you become a bit of a fan. You've seen them
• 6:01
Speaker 1: in good times. You've been on the road when a
• 6:03
Speaker 1: loved one died. You've been on the road when somebody
• 6:06
Speaker 1: got sick, been on the road when they got in trouble.
• 6:08
Speaker 1: I never will forget. We were in Nigeria and Antar
• 6:11
Speaker 1: got sick and they told me to go ahead and
• 6:13
Speaker 1: fly home, And I said, are you crazy, I'm not
• 6:17
Speaker 1: leaving Antario, Nigeria sick with malaria hop on a plane
• 6:24
Speaker 1: and they thought he had malari. Didn't better hop on
• 6:27
Speaker 1: a plane and leave him behind. I'm old school. If
• 6:37
Speaker 1: he not going, I'm not going. So we might as
• 6:41
Speaker 1: well settle down, Get an extra night, get an extra
• 6:43
Speaker 1: three nights, whatever we got to do, because we're in
• 6:46
Speaker 1: it together. We've been in deserts, We've been in dry places.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: We've been in places where there were no bathrooms. We've
• 6:52
Speaker 1: been in places where there was no food. We've been
• 6:54
Speaker 1: in places where we got sick. There's been times I've
• 6:56
Speaker 1: got sick and he had to nurse me back to health.
• 6:59
Speaker 1: There was one time I was in a hotel, had
• 7:01
Speaker 1: fallen out on the floor. He came in and got
• 7:04
Speaker 1: me up off the floor and treated me till I
• 7:06
Speaker 1: got better. And you think I'm gonna leave him and
• 7:09
Speaker 1: not Jered, You must be out of your mind.
• 7:11
  Speaker 2: Are you tripping?
• 7:16
Speaker 1: I'm never happy when I preach this when I have
• 7:18
Speaker 1: Marcus on the oh organ, because Marcus has been playing
• 7:21
Speaker 1: for me since I'm seventeen years old, since he was
• 7:26
Speaker 1: seventeen years old. I wasn't seventeen when I was seventeen.
• 7:32
Speaker 1: I'm not sure he was born, but he was seventeen
• 7:35
Speaker 1: years old. And he don't even have to look at me.
• 7:37
Speaker 1: He knows my body language, he knows my movements, he
• 7:40
Speaker 1: knows everything about men. I don't have to explain nothing
• 7:43
Speaker 1: to him. It's powerful. When you travel with people, a
• 7:48
Speaker 1: special bond erupts out of that and a closeness that
• 7:52
Speaker 1: comes out of that situation. And so when we step
• 7:55
Speaker 1: into this particular text, the disciples are not feeling what
• 7:59
Speaker 1: the out is feeling because they are privy to information
• 8:03
Speaker 1: that Jesus is going to Jerusalem to die, and Thomas
• 8:12
Speaker 1: has said I must go and die with him. So
• 8:17
Speaker 1: the palpable feeling of anxiety was exactly that. It was palpable,
• 8:24
Speaker 1: It was tangible, it was real amongst the disciples because
• 8:29
Speaker 1: they didn't know how the story was going in. Have
• 8:31
Speaker 1: you ever gotten into something you don't know for sure
• 8:34
Speaker 1: how the story's going to end, and there's a certain
• 8:37
Speaker 1: ominist feeling hanging over your head because you got a
• 8:40
Speaker 1: feeling this is not.
• 8:41
Speaker 2: Going to be a happy ending.
• 8:43
Speaker 1: My mother when she was down to Alzheim, and she
• 8:45
Speaker 1: was trying to prepare me for the depth. She said,
• 8:48
Speaker 1: every story don't have no happy ending, and I knew
• 8:52
Speaker 1: what that meant. I tried to ang like I didn't
• 8:55
Speaker 1: know what it meant, but I knew what it meant.
• 8:57
Speaker 1: She was trying to prepare me. They were going to Jerusalem.
• 9:01
Speaker 1: Jesus had set his face to go to Jerusalem. There
• 9:05
Speaker 1: was no stopping him, even though he knew that to
• 9:09
Speaker 1: go to Jerusalem was to sign a death sentence. And
• 9:14
Speaker 1: the disciples were going along loyally. They've been with him
• 9:18
Speaker 1: everywhere else. They've been with him in every other situation.
• 9:22
Speaker 1: They had been with him with the woman with issure blood.
• 9:26
Speaker 1: They had been with him as Lazarus was raised from
• 9:29
Speaker 1: the dead. They had been with him as a man
• 9:31
Speaker 1: with the with a hand stretched forth his hand and
• 9:34
Speaker 1: got here. They had been with him when he ran
• 9:36
Speaker 1: through the corn fields and they ate of the corn fields.
• 9:39
Speaker 1: They had been with him when the Pharisees tried to
• 9:42
Speaker 1: trap him and he eluded their trap. They had been
• 9:44
Speaker 1: with him in every situation, in every circum said.
• 9:47
Speaker 2: They'd been with him when he took the two fish and.
• 9:50
Speaker 1: Five loaves of bread and fed five thousand They had
• 9:53
Speaker 1: been with him when he walked out on the water
• 9:55
Speaker 1: in the middle of the night and came walking to him,
• 9:57
Speaker 1: and they thought he.
• 9:58
  Speaker 2: Was a ghost.
• 9:59
Speaker 1: They had been with than when he told them to
• 10:01
Speaker 1: go down there and pay the taxes out of the
• 10:03
Speaker 1: fisher's mouth. They had been with him in every situation,
• 10:07
Speaker 1: and it would have been a bit and a fairious
• 10:10
Speaker 1: to walk away now. But the real test of discipleship
• 10:16
Speaker 1: is not walking with somebody when they're performing miracles. The
• 10:24
Speaker 1: real test of real disciples, says is to walk with
• 10:27
Speaker 1: them when they walk through the valley of the Shadow
• 10:29
Speaker 1: of Death. To go through the garden, to get Simone
• 10:33
Speaker 1: and hang out with them and watch them sweat drops
• 10:36
Speaker 1: of blood is proof of being a real disciple. I'm
• 10:39
Speaker 1: not impressed with people who want to follow me up
• 10:42
Speaker 1: on the mountain. I'm impressed with people who hang with
• 10:46
Speaker 1: you in the valley. Am I talking in the right place?
• 10:51
Speaker 1: So the disciples are on edge, so as they near
• 10:56
Speaker 1: going to the place of Jerusalem and starting the Holy
• 11:00
Speaker 1: they run into blind Bottle of Mass. And the reason
• 11:03
Speaker 1: that the side believe that the disciples snap at Blind
• 11:06
Speaker 1: Bottle of Mass because they didn't have time for it,
• 11:09
Speaker 1: and everybody in here. I don't care how save you are.
• 11:12
Speaker 1: There are times, I mean, if you catch me at
• 11:19
Speaker 1: the right time, you get Jesus. But if you catch
• 11:25
Speaker 1: me on the wrong day and I ain't got time
• 11:28
Speaker 1: for it, I don't want to hear that fool. He said, shop,
• 11:35
Speaker 1: we full healing people.
• 11:38
Speaker 2: We got problems. We didn't come to Jerusal to heal
• 11:41
Speaker 2: no blind people. We might die here. Shut up.
• 11:47
Speaker 1: Master sent him away. He cries after us. That's a
• 11:52
  Speaker 1: stress they're caring. That's a stress they're carry because they
• 11:58
Speaker 1: are going to Jerusalem to die. And there he is,
• 12:05
Speaker 1: in this situation, and in the middle of this situation,
• 12:09
Speaker 1: he exhibits throughout the week a threefold deity, an operation
• 12:16
Speaker 1: of deity, prophet, priest and king. He is priest enough
• 12:26
Speaker 1: to serve the Last Supper, the sacraments of the pastor
• 12:32
Speaker 1: he is priest enough to do that.
• 12:35
Speaker 2: He is profit enough.
• 12:38
Speaker 1: To look into another city that he's not in and says, there's.
• 12:42
Speaker 2: An ass and a colt tied up.
• 12:47
Speaker 1: Trouble. I get out when I get to that part,
• 12:50
Speaker 1: because I have to figure that if God knows where
• 12:53
Speaker 1: a donkey is, that I don't have to get down
• 13:00
Speaker 1: on my knees and explain to.
• 13:01
Speaker 2: Him where I'm at.
• 13:03
Speaker 1: Jesus was aware of a coat and it's fole tied up.
• 13:08
Speaker 1: He knew exactly where it was tied up.
• 13:10
Speaker 2: He said, go get him.
• 13:15
Speaker 1: God ain't making this thing up as he goes. He
• 13:19
Speaker 1: had a cat, that ass and that colt tied up
• 13:23
Speaker 1: for years waiting on the right time. I want to
• 13:26
Speaker 1: take a minute and talk to somebody who's been tied up.
• 13:29
Speaker 1: God has not forgotten you. He will tie you up
• 13:32
Speaker 1: until the time is right. I don't care how many
• 13:35
Speaker 1: people go ahead of you. When it's your time, it's
• 13:37
Speaker 1: your time. And when God gets ready to pull you,
• 13:40
Speaker 1: he'll pull you out. He knows exactly where you are,
• 13:44
Speaker 1: He knows exactly what you got tied up. And the
• 13:47
Speaker 1: tie is as much God as the calling is that
• 13:51
Speaker 1: when God gets ready to loose you and let you go,
• 13:55
Speaker 1: no devil in hell can hold you back. Lo sen.
• 14:05
Speaker 2: And let him go.
• 14:11
Speaker 1: He is priests enough to serve the first Communion, previously
• 14:17
Speaker 1: a passover, now a communion. He is profit enough to
• 14:22
Speaker 1: be aware of the donkey and its baby. Could God
• 14:29
Speaker 1: every little voice in you that says that God doesn't
• 14:31
Speaker 1: understand just got a whipping, because you know, if God
• 14:39
Speaker 1: knows where an animal is, if his eye is on
• 14:45
Speaker 1: the sparrow, if the hair on your head is numbered.
• 14:53
Speaker 1: All that stuff you're doing trying to explain to God
• 14:56
Speaker 1: your situation, as if you needed to educate him is away,
• 15:00
Speaker 1: spit and win. God knows exactly where you are. And
• 15:07
Speaker 1: if you don't praise Him when you get loose, you
• 15:09
Speaker 1: got to praise him while you're tied up. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
• 15:16
Speaker 1: yeah yeah. I want the folks that's tied up to
• 15:19
Speaker 1: praise the Lord because the truth of the matter, the
• 15:29
Speaker 1: rope isn't holding me. My divine purpose is. And when
• 15:35
Speaker 1: it's time for me and the stage is said, Hell
• 15:39
Speaker 1: can't make a rope that can hold me back. When
• 15:42
Speaker 1: God gets tready to loose me, he'll loose me. I
• 15:47
Speaker 1: ain't worried about you putting your foot on me, because
• 15:49
Speaker 1: he'll break your foot before you can hold me down.
• 15:52
Speaker 1: If he wants me up, you ain't strong enough to.
• 15:55
Speaker 2: Hold me down. Then a done A foel tied up
• 16:01
  Speaker 2: in the.
• 16:01
Speaker 1: Next village, and Prophet Jesus knew where there was and
• 16:11
Speaker 1: Prophet Jesus knew what posts they were tied to, and
• 16:14
Speaker 1: Prophet Jesus knew what rope was around that day, and
• 16:17
Speaker 1: Prophet Jesus knew exactly what village they were in. And
• 16:20
Speaker 1: he's going to die, and he's thinking about animals. If
• 16:23
Speaker 1: he's singing about animals while he's dying, then while he's resurrected,
• 16:28
Speaker 1: I can surely believe he's thinking about me. Look at you, Nay,
• 16:33
Speaker 1: even tell him, God is singing about you. What is
• 16:37
Speaker 1: man that God art might for him? Or the son
• 16:41
Speaker 1: of Man that thou visited him? For you had made
• 16:43
Speaker 1: him a little lower than the angels, and yet you've
• 16:45
Speaker 1: crowned him with honor and glory. But I think of
• 16:48
Speaker 1: the fact that God's mind is full of me, and
• 16:57
Speaker 1: before the week is out, they will put a crown
• 16:59
Speaker 1: or thrown upon his head and mockingly call him the
• 17:03
Speaker 1: King of Jews, when in reality he is absolutely what
• 17:06
Speaker 1: they called him, the King of the Jews.
• 17:11
  Speaker 2: What idiots?
• 17:11
Speaker 1: That fascinates me in the early journey of this test
• 17:15
Speaker 1: see inaugural display of this text see embryotic development of
• 17:20
Speaker 1: this text is the mixed expectations of the people. And
• 17:28
Speaker 1: the reason I think expectations have a lot to do
• 17:31
Speaker 1: with the text is that write this down expectations control disappointment.
• 17:43
Speaker 1: I can't control what you do to me, but I
• 17:47
Speaker 1: can control what I expect from you.
• 17:53
Speaker 2: And once I find out what.
• 17:55
Speaker 1: You are capable of doing, I lure my expectations to
• 18:00
Speaker 1: your capabilities. So I can't get shocked by your behavior
• 18:06
Speaker 1: because I can't control what you do, but I control
• 18:09
Speaker 1: what I expect. Because to the degree that I control
• 18:13
Speaker 1: what I expect, I monitor my disappointment, because disappointment is
• 18:19
Speaker 1: the end result of lofty expectations, and it is in
• 18:25
Speaker 1: fact about the expectations that I have come to talk
• 18:28
Speaker 1: to you about. They all said the same thing, and
• 18:31
Speaker 1: they all experienced the same moment. The disciples went and
• 18:35
Speaker 1: obeyed him, and they got the cold, and they bought him.
• 18:38
Speaker 1: And Jesus said, if any man stop you in the way,
• 18:40
Speaker 1: tell him the Lord has need of him. And that
• 18:43
Speaker 1: means that somebody gave up their donkey so Jesus could
• 18:48
Speaker 1: have arrived. What have you given up that was yours?
• 18:57
Speaker 1: That you raised up and fed and grew up and nurtured,
• 19:00
Speaker 1: and yet you were willing to give it up so
• 19:02
Speaker 1: that God can use it. There is no success without sacrifice.
• 19:13
Speaker 1: Just because you aren't the one who paid. It doesn't
• 19:16
Speaker 1: mean that somebody didn't pay it. You can come in
• 19:20
Speaker 1: this search for years and throw five dollars in an
• 19:23
Speaker 1: offering plate and walk away and pay it no mine.
• 19:26
Speaker 1: But it is not your five dollars that paid for
• 19:29
Speaker 1: that pew. It is the people who gave five hundred
• 19:31
Speaker 1: and five thousand and ten thousand and one thousand dollars
• 19:35
Speaker 1: for years, and you get to sit in somebody else's
• 19:39
Speaker 1: sacrifice while you pass the plate and do nothing. Just
• 19:43
Speaker 1: because you didn't pay it doesn't mean it didn't get
• 19:46
Speaker 1: paid for it. Just because you didn't buy the milk
• 19:50
Speaker 1: and the refrigerator and you left it out on the
• 19:52
Speaker 1: counter for it to go bad doesn't mean that mommy
• 19:56
Speaker 1: or Daddy didn't pay for the gall of the milk
• 19:58
Speaker 1: that you chose to waste. Because you can waste it
• 20:01
Speaker 1: until you start paying for it. Yeah, when you start
• 20:07
Speaker 1: paying for it, I bet you put it back in
• 20:09
Speaker 1: the refrigerator. My kids used to turn their air conditioning on,
• 20:16
Speaker 1: and the fans said they couldn't sleep without the air
• 20:19
Speaker 1: conditioning and the fan on. When they moved out, they
• 20:22
Speaker 1: learned how to sleep without the air condition on, the
• 20:25
Speaker 1: fan or because when the bills come in your name.
• 20:28
Speaker 1: You learn how to cut stuff off. You ought to
• 20:30
Speaker 1: see them going through the house cutting off and cut
• 20:32
Speaker 1: that light out. Ain't nobody in that room? We don't
• 20:35
Speaker 1: need no light. I think, why are you ten years ago?
• 20:45
Speaker 1: Jesus is literally sitting on the benevolence of a follower,
• 20:52
Speaker 1: which is built on the integrity of his name. Tell
• 20:55
Speaker 1: him the Master has need of it. I'm not going myself.
• 21:00
Speaker 1: I'm not calling him, I'm not reaching out to him.
• 21:03
Speaker 1: You just tell him what I said. My name will
• 21:08
Speaker 1: open up doors to access other people's resource. That's when
• 21:15
Speaker 1: you got power. You ain't got power because you got muscles.
• 21:21
Speaker 1: You got power when you can put your name on
• 21:24
Speaker 1: something and it opens up. Because I mean, it's nights.
• 21:29
Speaker 1: I have muscles. I'm not hating on nobody. I got
• 21:31
Speaker 1: a few. But the problem with it ain't nobody fighting
• 21:37
  Speaker 1: no more.
• 21:41
  Speaker 2: So.
• 21:41
Speaker 1: You can box like Muhammad al laid, but you can't
• 21:44
Speaker 1: box a nine millimeter. Power is when your name has
• 21:55
Speaker 1: enough weight that all they have to do is go
• 21:58
Speaker 1: in your name and doors open because you said it.
• 22:05
Speaker 1: That's what you want to aspire to to get the
• 22:08
Speaker 1: power and the integrity behind your name. That's strong enough
• 22:12
Speaker 1: that your name opens doors and you don't have to
• 22:16
Speaker 1: walk around wearing BRIONI, what are you wearing me? I'm
• 22:30
Speaker 1: wearing me. Yeah, I'm dressed in me. This is my company,
• 22:35
Speaker 1: this is my suit, this is my tailor. Maate Ben,
• 22:37
Speaker 1: I'm wearing me because I'm tired of investing in other
• 22:42
Speaker 1: people's names. I'm gonna start investing. Ya can't handle that,
• 22:48
Speaker 1: Let me get out of that. The mixed expectations of
• 22:54
Speaker 1: the people are mighty because the fact that Jesus has
• 22:58
Speaker 1: summoned the coat to ride into the city reinforces the
• 23:03
Speaker 1: expectation of the people around him that he is coming
• 23:08
Speaker 1: as the son of David, to be king. You see,
• 23:14
Speaker 1: throughout most of the Old Testament, they saw the peaks of.
• 23:20
Speaker 2: The mountains, but not the valleys.
• 23:25
Speaker 1: So they saw the first Advent and the Second Advent,
• 23:29
Speaker 1: the coming of Christ, the return of Christ, and they
• 23:32
Speaker 1: promphesied about the birth of Christ and the return of Christ,
• 23:37
Speaker 1: but they said very little about the death of Christ.
• 23:41
Speaker 1: So the death of Christ was hidden from view because
• 23:44
Speaker 1: the death of Christ is process the return of Christ's promise,
• 23:52
Speaker 1: and God very seldom gives us details about process. Because
• 23:58
Speaker 1: if he gave you the details about the process, you
• 24:01
Speaker 1: would give up on the promise. So he gives you
• 24:06
Speaker 1: a vision about the promise, and then he throws you
• 24:10
Speaker 1: into the process. And you said, Lord, I didn't know
• 24:15
Speaker 1: it was gonna take all of this. I wanted a
• 24:20
  Speaker 1: good marriage, but I didn't mean I didn't mean that.
• 24:22
Speaker 1: I didn't expect that. Shut up. You didn't tell me
• 24:27
Speaker 1: I was gonna have to bite my tongue. I want
• 24:34
Speaker 1: a husband. I don't want to wash no dirty drawer.
• 24:36
  Speaker 1: I want a wife. I don't want to be understanding
• 24:39
Speaker 1: listening to her chatter about people I don't know. I
• 24:45
Speaker 1: learned how to handle that. When my wife does that,
• 24:48
Speaker 1: I respond, shut up, get out of here. No she didn't.
• 24:57
Speaker 1: She know better than that. I can't believe. I keep
• 25:01
Speaker 1: right on reading the paper. Shut up, get out of here.
• 25:07
Speaker 1: She know better than that. Shut your mouth, girl, No
• 25:13
  Speaker 1: she didn't.
• 25:16
Speaker 2: She know better than that. You know, y'a?
• 25:20
Speaker 1: Okay, Still my stuff, that's mine, it's patented. You can't
• 25:24
Speaker 1: have it. But it's why we've been married forty years.
• 25:29
Speaker 1: And as long as you don't question me too deep,
• 25:31
Speaker 1: because I might not even know what she talking about.
• 25:34
Speaker 1: But I did look good in the moment. These are
• 25:38
Speaker 1: the kinds of things that you go through when we
• 25:41
Speaker 1: are living life together but having two completely different experiences.
• 25:45
Speaker 1: My wife and I live in the house, same house,
• 25:47
Speaker 1: but we have two completely different experiences. We go to
• 25:50
Speaker 1: the same party, the same dinner party, We get in
• 25:52
Speaker 1: the car and go home, and it's like we were
• 25:55
Speaker 1: at two different events. You know, she don't like her
• 26:01
Speaker 1: husband at all. Couldn't you tell? No?
• 26:02
  Speaker 2: I couldn't deal. I was talking. I wasn't checking to
• 26:07
Speaker 2: see whether she liked her husband or not. The lady
• 26:11
Speaker 2: in the red shoes had an attitude. She didn't even
• 26:13
Speaker 2: want to call. I didn't even see.
• 26:15
Speaker 1: The shoes, So I don't even know who you're talking about.
• 26:19
Speaker 1: Are you sure we was at the same event? Because
• 26:24
Speaker 1: I was trying to wrap up this deal with Michaerosoft.
• 26:27
Speaker 1: You trying to smoke out these red shoes? Now you
• 26:30
Speaker 1: keep the shoes I wanted to deal. I'm just saying
• 26:41
Speaker 1: that just because we have the same experience, we don't
• 26:43
Speaker 1: have the same expectation. The crowd expected Jesus to fix
• 26:54
Speaker 1: their loneliness. The crowd is an oppressed people in their
• 27:00
Speaker 1: own land. We talk about slavery amongst African Americans a lot,
• 27:06
Speaker 1: and it was horrific and terrible, and it deserves to
• 27:11
Speaker 1: be studied and understood, like the Holocaust, so that it
• 27:14
Speaker 1: is never repeated again. We have to study it not
• 27:23
Speaker 1: from an accusatory perspective, but from a human behavior perspective,
• 27:27
Speaker 1: so that we understand what humans are capable of. When
• 27:30
Speaker 1: we lose equity of power, we set ourselves in threat.
• 27:34
Speaker 1: No matter the color of your skin, too much power
• 27:37
  Speaker 1: totally corrupts.
• 27:41
Speaker 2: You. Hear what I'm saying.
• 27:43
Speaker 1: But the Africans have a completely different experience because they
• 27:47
Speaker 1: were colonized in their own country and restricted out of
• 27:52
Speaker 1: the places they owned with science that said no blacks
• 27:57
Speaker 1: allowed in my own and house. So colonization was as
• 28:04
Speaker 1: traumatic for them as slavery was for us.
• 28:08
  Speaker 2: The Jews are.
• 28:10
Speaker 1: Being enslaved, entrapped second class citizens in their own house,
• 28:21
Speaker 1: and much of their culture has been lost, and their
• 28:23
Speaker 1: food has been lost, and the religion has been tampered
• 28:26
Speaker 1: with by Herod, who is partially Jewish and partially Greek,
• 28:31
Speaker 1: and he has infused his purpose and way to the
• 28:34
Speaker 1: point he is selling them offerings. And Jesus freaked out
• 28:39
Speaker 1: in the temple because he never intended for government to
• 28:44
Speaker 1: get in church business. The reason Jesus is flipping over
• 28:51
Speaker 1: tables is not because they're selling chicken dinners after church.
• 28:56
Speaker 1: The reason Jesus is flipping over the tables is because
• 28:59
Speaker 1: hair is making money off of their belief system. That's
• 29:05
Speaker 1: why it is called Herod's Temple. It was never meant
• 29:09
Speaker 1: to be Herod's temple if it was God's house.
• 29:15
Speaker 2: I'm going somewhere. I'm going somewhere.
• 29:17
Speaker 1: I want you to understand the climate of this situation,
• 29:21
Speaker 1: and so they desperately needed Jesus to be the long awaited.
• 29:30
  Speaker 2: Messiah to.
• 29:35
Speaker 1: They expected his return to liberate them from the oppression
• 29:40
Speaker 1: of Caesar. The Roman dominance had prevailed over the city,
• 29:45
Speaker 1: had left them a second class citizen in their own house.
• 29:48
Speaker 1: Now you can belittle me in the public a little bit.
• 29:55
  Speaker 2: You can.
• 29:57
Speaker 1: You can belittle me in the public a while. When
• 30:02
Speaker 1: you come in my house and you get up in
• 30:07
Speaker 1: my face in my house and try to tell me
• 30:10
Speaker 1: who I'm not, You're gonna get a most unsavory side
• 30:14
  Speaker 1: of me.
• 30:17
Speaker 2: Am I the only one.
• 30:21
Speaker 1: I pay too many mortgage payments to be intimidated in
• 30:25
Speaker 1: my own house. I pay too much property taxes to
• 30:28
Speaker 1: be intimidated. In my own house, I put too much
• 30:32
Speaker 1: work in to be into. I will put you out.
• 30:37
Speaker 1: I had been known to walk over and open the
• 30:39
Speaker 1: door and say, I'm the president in here, I am
• 30:51
Speaker 1: the chief executive officer of my house.
• 30:57
Speaker 2: I am the well.
• 31:00
Speaker 1: You stop me just in time. You know your brother,
• 31:03
Speaker 1: You know your brother. You better pray me on through
• 31:07
Speaker 1: because I get in them outphabets. I forget girl. I
• 31:11
Speaker 1: almost told them who I was right in church. You
• 31:14
Speaker 1: prayed me out of that. I'm so thankful for you.
• 31:18
Speaker 1: Keep on in a seat in fort of Man of Gold. Yeah,
• 31:25
Speaker 1: keep on in a seeding for the Man of God,
• 31:28
Speaker 1: because I will flip out all my stuff. They are
• 31:32
Speaker 1: fresh in their own city. Much of their traditions have
• 31:35
Speaker 1: been compromised. In religion has been diluted, their culture has
• 31:40
Speaker 1: been diluted. They are holding on by the the mere
• 31:45
Speaker 1: skin of their teeth to their priestly order. John the
• 31:50
Speaker 1: Baptist is a priest after the order of Zacharias, and
• 31:55
Speaker 1: yet completely different from him. They're holding on to a
• 31:59
Speaker 1: little of their ceremonies and rituals in spite of the
• 32:02
Speaker 1: fact that the dark of the company's gone. You know
• 32:05
Speaker 1: how it is when people are robbing you of who
• 32:07
Speaker 1: you are and you're trying to hold onto a little
• 32:09
Speaker 1: bit of your personhood. That's where a lot of relationships are.
• 32:13
Speaker 1: They will rob you of who you are until you
• 32:16
Speaker 1: have to fight for the threads of being yourself. I
• 32:21
Speaker 1: don't want you if it means losing me. Write that down.
• 32:30
Speaker 1: I don't want you if it means losing me. Yeah,
• 32:36
Speaker 1: you can accept me, you can love me, but God
• 32:39
Speaker 1: did not call you to change me. You are not
• 32:42
Speaker 1: my pastor. You are not my savior. You're not my deliver.
• 32:46
Speaker 1: We can share life together, but I'm.
• 32:48
  Speaker 2: Gonna do me.
• 32:49
Speaker 1: You do you, We do us. That's how that works,
• 32:54
Speaker 1: you see, that's how that works. They had lost themselves
• 33:00
Speaker 1: in the dominance of their masters, and they were waiting
• 33:05
Speaker 1: for the master to come, and there were multiple points
• 33:09
Speaker 1: of views, and Jesus calls for the donkey to come
• 33:13
Speaker 1: that Zachariah nine nine to twelve may be fulfilled. For
• 33:18
Speaker 1: in Zacharia nine nine through twelve, it says, rejoice, greatly,
• 33:21
Speaker 1: old daughter of Zion, shout, old daughter of Jerusalem. Behold
• 33:25
Speaker 1: our king, come up unto thee. He is just and
• 33:28
Speaker 1: having salvation lowly and riding upon an ass and upon a.
• 33:33
Speaker 2: Colt, the foal of an ass.
• 33:36
Speaker 1: So when they saw him coming on the colt, they
• 33:41
Speaker 1: saw him as the king. So they called him Hosannah
• 33:46
Speaker 1: to the son of David, because they said, our liberator,
• 33:50
Speaker 1: our doctor, King, our Nelson Mandela has finally come. Our
• 33:56
Speaker 1: Kentacomte has a role. What conga forever?
• 34:00
  Speaker 2: This is it.
• 34:01
Speaker 1: We get ready to take over this mug. There's gonna
• 34:04
Speaker 1: be some trouble up in here. Shaka Zulu, Shaka Zulu.
• 34:12
Speaker 1: We get ready to swing down on the trees and
• 34:15
Speaker 1: we're gonna drive you out of Israel.
• 34:17
Speaker 2: We're gonna drive you back. You're gonna have wrong, but you.
• 34:20
Speaker 1: Getting up out of here today, Hozana to the King
• 34:25
Speaker 1: of King. They knew that the scription says, I will
• 34:28
Speaker 1: cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem,
• 34:31
Speaker 1: and the battle bowl shall be cut off, and he
• 34:34
Speaker 1: shall speak peace unto the heathen, and his dominions shall
• 34:37
Speaker 1: be from the sea even to the sea, and from
• 34:40
Speaker 1: the river even unto the ends of the earth.
• 34:42
  Speaker 2: They knew that.
• 34:43
Speaker 1: They knew that he would say, as for thee also
• 34:46
Speaker 1: by the blood of thy covenant. I have sent forth
• 34:49
Speaker 1: thy prisoners out of the pit where there is no water.
• 34:52
Speaker 1: That means I'm gonna loose the prisoners. Turn you to
• 34:55
Speaker 1: the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope. Did you hear that?
• 35:00
Speaker 1: Turn ye to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope. You
• 35:03
Speaker 1: all write that prisoners of hope now because you need
• 35:06
Speaker 1: to be a prisoner of hope. You need to be
• 35:08
Speaker 1: incarcerated by hope, ye prisoners of hope. Even today do
• 35:13
Speaker 1: I declare that I will I will render double unto thee.
• 35:20
Speaker 1: God says, I'm gonna give you a double for the trouble.
• 35:26
Speaker 1: So no wonder They started singing Hosanna to the king
• 35:32
Speaker 1: because they said, this means that we're gonna break the
• 35:34
Speaker 1: bands around our neck. This means we can own our
• 35:37
Speaker 1: own businesses again. This means we can rule ourselves again.
• 35:42
Speaker 1: This means we're gonna get double for the trouble. And
• 35:45
Speaker 1: we have been bound for years. And this is a
• 35:48
Speaker 1: signist hold that Holdzana to the son of Day blasted
• 35:56
Speaker 1: is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
• 36:00
Speaker 1: But they are feeling joy while the disciples are feeling
• 36:04
Speaker 1: pain because they think that Jesus is going to Jerusalem
• 36:10
Speaker 1: to kick butt, and the disciples know that Jesus is
• 36:17
Speaker 1: going to Jerusalem to die.
• 36:20
  Speaker 2: And Jesus the.
• 36:22
Speaker 1: Lord of Glory, that I am of Israel, the Mighty God,
• 36:26
Speaker 1: the day Star, the Kinsman, Redeemer, Jesus Sally of the Valley,
• 36:31
Speaker 1: Jesus that I am of God, Jesus Ruler of the Universe.
• 36:37
Speaker 1: Jesus Principeicce chooses not to ride in on a stallion.
• 36:43
Speaker 1: He's saving that for the encore. He's not going to
• 36:47
Speaker 1: ride in on a stallion. He chooses not to ride
• 36:50
Speaker 1: in on a chariot. He chooses to come in on
• 36:54
Speaker 1: what a child would ride, what a poor proper child
• 36:58
Speaker 1: would ride. Jesus, Lord of Glory, who commands see angels,
• 37:03
Speaker 1: is not riding on chariots sapphire. He's riding on the
• 37:08
Speaker 1: back of an ass to show you that I am
• 37:13
Speaker 1: the God of the down trodden, I am the God
• 37:16
Speaker 1: of the broken, I am the God of the old pressed,
• 37:20
Speaker 1: I am the God of the denied. I am the
• 37:22
Speaker 1: God the forsaken. And if it's necessary, I'll humble myself
• 37:28
Speaker 1: down from the corridors of heaven and sit down on
• 37:31
Speaker 1: a donkey and walk amongst you, right where you are.
• 37:35
Speaker 1: I'm as kidding to you as this donkey is. I'm
• 37:38
Speaker 1: connected to you as this donkey. And in fact, when
• 37:42
Speaker 1: you read through the Bible all the miracles I ever did,
• 37:46
Speaker 1: how use stuff you had, I will bring my glory
• 37:50
Speaker 1: within your reach. I will not put my glory in
• 37:54
Speaker 1: somebody else's house. If it's a jaw bone of an ass,
• 37:57
Speaker 1: that will be in your reach. If it's two fishing,
• 38:00
Speaker 1: five zds of bread, it will be in your reach.
• 38:03
Speaker 1: If it's a part of all, it will be in
• 38:05
Speaker 1: your reach. And whatever it is, I'm gonna put it
• 38:07
Speaker 1: in your ear, or somebody gott to shout me down,
• 38:10
Speaker 1: because I'm telling you, your next miracle is within your reach.
• 38:16
Speaker 1: Stop looking at somebody else's house for your miracle. Your
• 38:21
Speaker 1: next miracle is in your house. It's in your head,
• 38:25
Speaker 1: it's in your thoughts, it's in your mind.
• 38:28
Speaker 2: It is within your reach.
• 38:30
Speaker 1: For whoever that's for, praise him like you lost your mind.
• 38:43
  Speaker 2: It is importance.
• 38:43
Speaker 1: I'm almost finished the importance of balancing the extremes. He
• 38:48
Speaker 1: is the Lord of glory, but he is sitting on
• 38:51
Speaker 1: a horse the extremes of the donkey, waiting and the
• 38:56
Speaker 1: master's urgency, a waiting donkey, an urgent master. This Texas
• 39:03
Speaker 1: full of extremes, the coronation, HOZI out to the son
• 39:08
Speaker 1: of David, the crucifixion, crucify him. Praises in the air,
• 39:16
Speaker 1: Palms are on the ground. Resistance at gisimine submission.
• 39:22
Speaker 2: At the village, it is socks and brons of life.
• 39:27
Speaker 1: The highs and the low, the north and the south,
• 39:29
Speaker 1: the east and the west. Everybody in here has polarities
• 39:34
Speaker 1: in your life. If you show me this side, I'll
• 39:37
Speaker 1: think you're amazing. If you show me that side, I'll
• 39:40
Speaker 1: think you need to be saved. Don't you sit there
• 39:43
Speaker 1: with your holy self and don't act like you don't
• 39:46
Speaker 1: have a side you don't want nobody to see, because
• 39:49
Speaker 1: everybody in here has got a side that contradicts the
• 39:53
Speaker 1: other side. And how you balance those two sides is
• 39:57
Speaker 1: how well you do in life. He can't kill either side,
• 40:02
Speaker 1: but you can control the other side so that you
• 40:06
Speaker 1: can be the best version of yourself.
• 40:08
Speaker 2: Who am I talking to I'm in here. I'm in here.
• 40:13
Speaker 1: They think he is headed to be their king. After all,
• 40:17
Speaker 1: he has sweated till blood has come through the pores
• 40:20
Speaker 1: of his skin. He knows he is headed to the cross.
• 40:29
Speaker 2: And they are all experiencing it together.
• 40:33
Speaker 1: He knows that he has to fulfill what it's called
• 40:37
Speaker 1: escapegoat in the Bible, escapegoat is sent into the wilderness
• 40:43
Speaker 1: after the Jewish priest has symbolically laid the sins of
• 40:48
Speaker 1: the people upon him. When John saw him and said,
• 40:50
Speaker 1: behold the lamb of God, who taketh the way the
• 40:55
Speaker 1: sins of the world.
• 40:56
Speaker 2: He is both the lamb of God and the scapegoat God.
• 41:00
Speaker 1: It was the custom in the book of Leviticus to
• 41:04
Speaker 1: pray the sins on the safe goat and sent him
• 41:08
Speaker 1: into the wilderness. That's why, after the holy ghosts had
• 41:12
Speaker 1: fallen upon Jesus in the Jordan River, they sent him
• 41:16
Speaker 1: in the wilderness, because he is our scapegoat and he
• 41:21
Speaker 1: carried away our sins. Jesus going in the wilderness is
• 41:26
Speaker 1: the shadow of Jesus going to the cross. So he's
• 41:30
Speaker 1: riding on a goat because he is carrying away the
• 41:35
Speaker 1: sins of the world to God be the gold. Look
• 41:40
Speaker 1: at how much God carried away out of your life.
• 41:44
Speaker 1: He carried away stuff out of your life that you
• 41:46
Speaker 1: have been guilty about. That you have been worried about that,
• 41:50
Speaker 1: you have been termed all about. God has carried away.
• 41:53
Speaker 1: Since God has carried it away, why are you still
• 41:57
Speaker 1: carrying it? I'm going to ask you over. Since God
• 42:02
Speaker 1: has carried it away, Wow, are you still carrying it?
• 42:12
Speaker 1: Slapped somebody and tell him it's gone. He carried it away,
• 42:17
Speaker 1: He carried it away. They slapped him and sent him
• 42:21
Speaker 1: into the wilderness. They carried him away. He got on
• 42:25
Speaker 1: the gold and carried it to the cross. And on
• 42:27
Speaker 1: the cross he nailed to the cross every ordernance that
• 42:31
Speaker 1: was ever against me, every curse, every witch, every act.
• 42:36
Speaker 1: That's why I ain't scared at none of you witches
• 42:38
Speaker 1: in here, because all of your spells a nailed to
• 42:42
Speaker 1: the crows. Greater is he that send me than he
• 42:46
Speaker 1: that said in the world. I wish I had some
• 42:48
Speaker 1: warn saints in here. Let the war and saints make
• 42:52
Speaker 1: some noise. Let the warren saints make some noise. Let
• 42:56
Speaker 1: the warring saints make some d I don't care if
• 43:06
Speaker 1: you get a lock on my hair. I don't care
• 43:08
Speaker 1: if you bury it up under the porch. I don't
• 43:11
Speaker 1: care if you kill a dead cat, if you kill
• 43:14
Speaker 1: all the cats I'm still blessed. If you get all
• 43:17
Speaker 1: my hair brushes, I'm still bressed. If you bury my drawers,
• 43:22
Speaker 1: I'm still blessed because you can't curse what God has blessed.
• 43:29
Speaker 2: I feel the annoying to God, the holy ghost in
• 43:33
Speaker 2: this room. I'm blessed. I'm blessed. I'm blessed.
• 43:37
Speaker 1: I'm blessed in the city, I'm blessed in the field.
• 43:41
Speaker 1: I'm blessed in my uprising, I'm blessed in my downs.
• 43:45
Speaker 1: I know you don't like me, but I'm still blessed.
• 43:50
Speaker 1: I see your roll in your eyes, but I'm still blessed.
• 43:54
Speaker 1: I know you hate men, but I'm still blessed cause
• 43:58
Speaker 1: you can't curse what God has blessed. I need thirty
• 44:04
Speaker 1: seconds of crazy praise in this I'm blessed. I'm blessed.
• 44:18
Speaker 1: I'm blessed. From the crown of my head to the
• 44:22
Speaker 1: soul of my feet.
• 44:24
  Speaker 2: I know I'm blessed.
• 44:26
Speaker 1: I want somebody to shout till the hell gets nervous.
• 44:31
  Speaker 2: Shout.
• 44:37
Speaker 1: Shouts till demons tremble, Shout till spills are broken, Shout
• 44:48
Speaker 1: till curses are destroyed. Shout until you get a sense
• 44:54
Speaker 1: of direction. Shout till you come to yourself. Shout till
• 45:01
Speaker 1: you get new power. Shout till you get your backbone.
• 45:08
Speaker 1: Shout to your stand up straight. Shout till you feel
• 45:15
Speaker 1: the annoying of God. Shout till demon start running out
• 45:21
Speaker 1: of the door. Shout till your son gets saved. Shout
• 45:29
Speaker 1: till you get your breakthrough. I feel an annoyting, a breakthrough, annoying,
• 45:37
Speaker 1: a delivering annoyty, a stand up annoyeding. I am blessed,
• 45:45
Speaker 1: shouted out, I am.
• 45:48
  Speaker 3: Bless I'm blessed.
• 46:03
  Speaker 2: If I'm riding a Cadillac, I'm blessed.
• 46:06
  Speaker 1: If I'm driving a Volkswagen, I'm blessed. If I'm sitting
• 46:11
  Speaker 1: on a chariot, I'm blessed. If I'm riding on a
• 46:15
Speaker 1: down chair, I'm blessed. If I'm sitting in.
• 46:19
Speaker 2: First class, I'm blessed. If I'm sitting on.
• 46:23
Speaker 1: The back of a bus, it is not the bus
• 46:27
Speaker 1: that defines me. I'm blessed in my spirit, I'm blessed
• 46:32
Speaker 1: in my soul. I'm blessed in my mind. Somebody blessed.
• 46:38
Speaker 1: Praise them like a blessed man. Plaise them like a
• 46:42
Speaker 1: blessed woman, praise them like I'm blessed daughter, and I
• 46:47
Speaker 1: can't hear you. Look at somebody now at on it. Yeah,
• 47:06
  Speaker 1: I know I'm blessed. I don't need to date you
• 47:10
Speaker 1: to know I'm blessed. I don't need you to inferm
• 47:13
Speaker 1: me to know I'm blessed. When I woke up this morning,
• 47:17
Speaker 1: I knew I was blessed. You can add to it,
• 47:21
Speaker 1: but you can't take from it. I'm blessed, a and blessed.
• 47:29
  Speaker 1: I am blessed.
• 47:32
Speaker 2: Did you hear me?
• 47:34
Speaker 1: Tell hell, I'm blessed. Tell hell, I'm blessed. Tap it
• 47:41
Speaker 1: on the line, put it in your computer, write it
• 47:45
Speaker 1: in your heart. Tell the devil I'm bless.
• 47:50
Speaker 2: Tell cancer, I'm blessed.
• 47:52
Speaker 1: Tell depression I'm bless Tell fear I'm blessed. M hmm.
• 48:32
  Speaker 2: The same people.
• 48:35
Speaker 1: That say a Hoseadah will turn right back around and
• 48:41
Speaker 1: say crucifiing. I want to talk to ten people that's
• 48:45
Speaker 1: been betrayed. They said a hose Hannah one minute, and
• 48:50
Speaker 1: then they said crucified in what they said that hurts you?
• 48:55
Speaker 1: It was who said it that hurts you? Can I
• 48:58
Speaker 1: get a in this city here? Have you had a
• 49:01
Speaker 1: man that hurt by somebody. Your thoughts, you could trust.
• 49:06
Speaker 1: Be a witness from me. Head, jump up and down.
• 49:11
Speaker 1: Let the world know I'm not a liar. They can
• 49:15
Speaker 1: change on you and a man.
• 49:16
Speaker 2: And and all of this happened sitting with me. Give
• 49:36
Speaker 2: me five minutes. I'm done.
• 49:38
Speaker 1: I'm almost done. Can I come down here?
• 49:41
Speaker 2: I want to come back. I want to correct all
• 49:51
Speaker 2: of this. Taste came to giving. The sun.
• 49:59
Speaker 1: Gave his life. That's a big story.
• 50:05
  Speaker 2: The owner.
• 50:07
Speaker 1: He gave the colts. The disciples took their coats. And
• 50:13
Speaker 1: now they didn't go to the warehouse and by court.
• 50:19
Speaker 1: Their coats were made, took hours of labor, and they
• 50:24
Speaker 1: took their coats and covered the ass so Jesus could
• 50:30
Speaker 1: sit on their sacrifice. When was the last time that
• 50:36
Speaker 1: you gave something that cost you something?
• 50:40
Speaker 2: So Jesus could sit on the colt?
• 50:46
Speaker 1: Now tunning in here we see Jesus riding the colt
• 50:53
Speaker 1: like his mama. You will remember that when his mama
• 51:00
Speaker 1: was carrying him, she came riding to the Maine, and
• 51:06
Speaker 1: she was riding on the colt. Isn't it amazing how
• 51:12
Speaker 1: God will bring your life full circle?
• 51:17
  Speaker 2: The first time.
• 51:18
Speaker 1: It was the mama riding, and here comes Jesus riding
• 51:23
Speaker 1: like his mama. God said, I'm gonna do a new
• 51:27
Speaker 1: thing in your life I'm gonna turn it.
• 51:30
Speaker 2: All the way around again.
• 51:33
Speaker 1: And the first time you came in, you was riding
• 51:37
Speaker 1: on a colt time in your mama's relay.
• 51:41
Speaker 2: And the next time you come.
• 51:43
Speaker 1: In, I'm back on the colt again. Somebody hull, I'm back.
• 51:50
Speaker 1: That never tried to kill me, But I'm back. Hell
• 51:54
Speaker 1: try to take me out. I'm about to feel like preaching.
• 51:58
Speaker 1: Hell tried to take me out, but I'm back. I
• 52:03
Speaker 1: need a survivor. That a shout out mind, I said,
• 52:16
Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna say. I'm gonna say, who shut down?
• 52:20
Speaker 1: More course shut take Cabo? Cabo shutting the more for shot?
• 52:24
Speaker 1: Cabo shunned it a oh shot, hev shot. Touch somebody
• 52:29
Speaker 1: tell them something's about to happen in here. I can
• 52:32
Speaker 1: feel it in my hands, I can feel it in
• 52:35
Speaker 1: our feet, I can feel it in my soul.
• 52:39
Speaker 2: I can feel it in my spirit.
• 52:42
Speaker 1: Warn your neighbor, something's about to happen in here. If
• 52:46
  Speaker 1: I leave, don't take I'm crazy. If I'm running, don't
• 52:50
Speaker 1: chase me. But I feel a breakthrough coming in this place.
• 52:56
Speaker 1: I feel the deliverance of the Lord coming in this place.
• 53:02
Speaker 1: Somebody help me praising hard. Somebody help me praising. Somebody
• 53:08
Speaker 1: help me praising it. Say anybody in the balcony that
• 53:20
Speaker 1: would praise the Lord, he say, anybody in the balcony
• 53:24
Speaker 1: that would praise the Lord, He say, anybody in the
• 53:28
Speaker 1: balcony that's about to get a turn around.
• 53:31
Speaker 2: You about to come around for a circle.
• 53:35
Speaker 1: Ride, Baby ride, ride, baby ride. God is about to
• 53:41
Speaker 1: do something in your life. Make some noise, come out
• 53:46
Speaker 1: of your closet. Show your self, stroll online, show your self, stroll.
• 53:55
Speaker 1: I feel the breaking up day. I'm all those who
• 54:15
Speaker 1: I want to be. There are three levels of giving.
• 54:21
Speaker 1: There are those who gave their coats. Some put them
• 54:25
Speaker 1: on the donkeyn, some put them on the ground. But
• 54:28
Speaker 1: they gave something that they had an investment in to
• 54:32
Speaker 1: the Kingdom of God. If you don't invest in the Kingdom,
• 54:36
Speaker 1: how dare you ask the Kingdom to invest in you?
• 54:43
Speaker 1: If you're not willing to give something that costs you,
• 54:45
Speaker 1: something that you sweated for, that it took you months
• 54:49
Speaker 1: to make, that you had to be fitted for, that
• 54:53
Speaker 1: was made for you. But you gave it to him.
• 54:57
Speaker 1: That's sacrifice. It ain't sacrifice. When you buy me something,
• 55:02
Speaker 1: it's sacrifice when you give me something you wanted. As
• 55:08
Speaker 1: long as you give me something you don't like, you
• 55:10
Speaker 1: ain't sacrifice. But if you give me something that you
• 55:12
Speaker 1: wish you had yourself, that's a sacrifice.
• 55:16
Speaker 2: They put the coats on the ground.
• 55:18
Speaker 1: There was something about Jesus that they looked at the
• 55:21
Speaker 1: coat and said, you ain't nothing. Paul said, I counted
• 55:25
Speaker 1: all done that I might wear the excellence of Christ.
• 55:29
Speaker 1: Whenever you see Jesus, you put things in the proper perspective.
• 55:34
Speaker 1: Who's something, boy, whenever you see Jesus. Anytime I see
• 55:38
Speaker 1: somebody stuck on yourself. You seen church, but you ain't
• 55:42
Speaker 1: seen Jesus. If you ever see Jesus, it'll make you
• 55:47
Speaker 1: throw your coat on the ground.
• 55:50
Speaker 2: If you ever see Jesus.
• 55:53
Speaker 1: In a change of pride, If you ever see Jesus,
• 56:00
Speaker 1: it'll make you put everything up under your feet. Paul said,
• 56:05
Speaker 1: I counted all but doug that I might win the
• 56:10
Speaker 1: excellency of Jesus Christ. Somebody who knows the word, did
• 56:16
Speaker 1: the Lord A please right now? Slap somebody and say
• 56:39
Speaker 1: throw it down. Whatever you've been exalted, throw it down,
• 56:44
Speaker 1: whatever you've been prouder, thaw it down, whatever you put
• 56:49
Speaker 1: all in, taught down, tut down down, taught down, down down,
• 56:56
Speaker 1: tut down down down, taught down, down down, taught down.
• 57:02
Speaker 2: Now that's wash them.
• 57:04
Speaker 1: When you throw it down, slap your neighbor and say,
• 57:08
Speaker 1: thaw it down. There were three levels of giving. The
• 57:25
Speaker 1: giving of the coach is something that was for you,
• 57:30
Speaker 1: but when you saw him, you counted it as dumb,
• 57:35
Speaker 1: and you threw it down for him. The second level
• 57:42
Speaker 1: is the cutting of the palm tree, which costs you nothing,
• 57:49
Speaker 1: but you wanted to do something, so the only effort
• 57:53
Speaker 1: you expended was cutting down what was easy. You have
• 58:00
Speaker 1: never given enough free. All you've ever given it was
• 58:05
Speaker 1: palm trees. You just reached over and cut down something
• 58:13
Speaker 1: that was close anyway. You didn't have nothing invested in it.
• 58:17
Speaker 1: It didn't cost you nothing, but it looked good in
• 58:20
  Speaker 1: the crowd.
• 58:21
Speaker 2: You cut down the palm tree.
• 58:24
Speaker 1: And laid it down at his feet, and you thought
• 58:27
Speaker 1: you had done something big. But to the folks who
• 58:29
Speaker 1: dropped their coat, your palm tree don't mean nothing at all,
• 58:34
Speaker 1: because you cut down what didn't bleed. You cut down
• 58:42
Speaker 1: what you cared nothing about, and you gave it to
• 58:46
Speaker 1: God as if you were throwing something big, all based
• 58:50
Speaker 1: on what you thought he was gonna do for you.
• 58:55
Speaker 1: You cut down the palm trees because you thought you
• 58:59
Speaker 1: was gonna get double for your trouble. You cut down
• 59:03
Speaker 1: the palm trees because you thought you had a new king,
• 59:06
Speaker 1: the son of David. I gave my coat because I
• 59:11
Speaker 1: esteemed who he was to be greater than what he did.
• 59:16
Speaker 1: If you don't do anything else for me, if I
• 59:19
Speaker 1: can do anything to make you more comfortable, if I
• 59:23
Speaker 1: have to give you something, I'll give you the shirt
• 59:26
Speaker 1: off my back because I love who you are, not
• 59:31
Speaker 1: what you did. If you're gonna die, or die with you.
• 59:36
Speaker 1: Notice most of the coat givers were disciples.
• 59:41
Speaker 2: They knew he was going to die. Most of the
• 59:44
  Speaker 2: branch cutters.
• 59:46
Speaker 1: Were people who lived up under the illusion that he
• 59:49
Speaker 1: was going to set up his kingdom. Because as long
• 59:53
Speaker 1: as you only serve God for what he can do
• 59:56
Speaker 1: for you, you will give something, but it it will
• 1:00:00
Speaker 1: cost you nothing. But when you have fallen in love
• 1:00:03
Speaker 1: with God, and when you esteem him above your chiefest joy,
• 1:00:09
Speaker 1: it changes the way you'll give because your value changes.
• 1:00:15
Speaker 1: So what you had coat difference set up. Secondly you
• 1:00:20
Speaker 1: had palm cutters, and then you had lip service. Holda,
• 1:00:29
Speaker 1: you ain't cut nothing, you ain't gain nothing.
• 1:00:33
Speaker 2: You just making noise.
• 1:00:35
Speaker 1: I have learned over the years the loudest folk in
• 1:00:39
Speaker 1: the church do the least, giving them people that gets
• 1:00:46
Speaker 1: out of control and runs all over the place that
• 1:00:49
Speaker 1: you can't do nothing with them, and they dance and
• 1:00:52
Speaker 1: break their shoe and they're hollering and falling all over
• 1:00:55
Speaker 1: top of everybody. Don't give ten dollars the people who
• 1:00:59
Speaker 1: make all of noise. Hosanna to the son of David,
• 1:01:03
Speaker 1: Hosannah to the King of King. Where is your branch?
• 1:01:08
Speaker 1: Where is your coat? Where is your sacrifice?
• 1:01:12
Speaker 2: Wherein has a man rob? God?
• 1:01:15
Speaker 1: With your mouth you drawn down to me, but with
• 1:01:18
Speaker 1: your hearts you're far from me. You must be praying
• 1:01:21
Speaker 1: for me, cause I feel like preaching me. And if
• 1:01:26
Speaker 1: I feel like preaching it, somebody's gonna break in this
• 1:01:30
Speaker 1: place today. I feel the annoting I'm the Holy Ghost
• 1:01:35
Speaker 1: about come break loose in this place. Somebody's gonna get delivered.
• 1:01:41
Speaker 1: Hill he Louliah, God, don't just want your lip service.
• 1:01:47
Speaker 1: He wants so sacrifice. Somebody shout yes, that was cute,
• 1:01:54
Speaker 1: but I said, shout yes. Stop stop being impressed with
• 1:02:15
Speaker 1: lip service, Stop being impressed with people speaking in tongues
• 1:02:19
Speaker 1: at the grocery store, stop being impressed with bathroom profits.
• 1:02:25
Speaker 1: Because anybody can make noise, but you have to be
• 1:02:28
  Speaker 1: a special person.
• 1:02:30
  Speaker 2: To make change.
• 1:02:32
Speaker 1: And I feel change coming in the atmosphere.
• 1:02:37
Speaker 2: I fifty not nice, suck.
• 1:02:39
Speaker 1: I feel change coming in the atmosphere. I wish I
• 1:02:44
Speaker 1: had a hundred old saints that knew how to go
• 1:02:48
Speaker 1: into a sanctified praise somebody else.
• 1:02:51
  Speaker 2: I feel a change.
• 1:03:09
Speaker 1: So this is my point that I'm closing. They did
• 1:03:13
Speaker 1: all of that, given the three levels are given the coat,
• 1:03:15
Speaker 1: the palm, trees of praise, and they was good with
• 1:03:19
Speaker 1: it till he got to the Sanahedrin court, till he
• 1:03:25
Speaker 1: was apprehended by palette, and then he was apprehended by
• 1:03:30
Speaker 1: that which they thought he was going to apprehend So
• 1:03:35
Speaker 1: the same people who said, Hosannah, you get anything, now
• 1:03:43
Speaker 1: that I see that you're not gonna do what I
• 1:03:46
Speaker 1: thought you was gonna do, now I got no more.
• 1:03:50
  Speaker 2: Use for you.
• 1:03:51
Speaker 1: Watch out for people who throw you away. Stop crying
• 1:03:56
Speaker 1: over who threw you away because you didn't lose nothing
• 1:03:59
Speaker 1: in the first when they were saying O Hosannah, they
• 1:04:03
Speaker 1: were opportunists. When they said crucify him, they were opportunists.
• 1:04:08
Speaker 2: The only reason they.
• 1:04:09
Speaker 1: Mad at you is because they can't get out of
• 1:04:11
Speaker 1: you what they want to get out of you. And
• 1:04:14
Speaker 1: there you sit up crying, thinking you lost something that
• 1:04:17
Speaker 1: you never had. You never had him in the first place.
• 1:04:23
Speaker 1: I feel that preaching. I feel the annoy any of
• 1:04:27
Speaker 1: the Holy gold. Sir, somebody's getting delivered from people. You've
• 1:04:31
Speaker 1: been delivered from alcohol, You've been delivered from drugs, but
• 1:04:36
Speaker 1: now God is getting ready to deliver you from people.
• 1:04:41
Speaker 2: If God is delivering you from.
• 1:04:42
Speaker 1: People, take about ten seconds and praise Him like you
• 1:04:48
Speaker 1: trying to clear your I'm true. I'm true with people.
• 1:04:55
Speaker 1: I'm true with worrying about it. I'm through with trying
• 1:04:58
Speaker 1: to get along with through a word about people.
• 1:05:14
Speaker 2: Two things that I'm done.
• 1:05:16
Speaker 1: The Bible will say, Thomas, you have believed because you
• 1:05:25
Speaker 1: have seen or other worse.
• 1:05:27
Speaker 2: You believe and trust because of what you know. But
• 1:05:34
  Speaker 2: ba'ss it.
• 1:05:36
Speaker 1: Are those who have not seen, and yet they need
• 1:05:44
Speaker 1: all of these others foot loss their blessing because their
• 1:05:48
Speaker 1: Hosannah turned to crucify him. But there were a few
• 1:05:53
Speaker 1: people left on the cross that said, though he's slaved yet,
• 1:05:59
Speaker 1: shall I trust me? If he died, I'm gonna trust him.
• 1:06:03
Speaker 1: If they bury him, I'm gonna trust him. If they
• 1:06:07
Speaker 1: put him in a grain, I'm gonna be freaking sudding man,
• 1:06:12
Speaker 1: I fooled. I feel like preaching this word. Does anybody
• 1:06:18
Speaker 1: want to hear this word? So I asked God. I said,
• 1:06:26
Speaker 1: since they did not start celebrating Palm Sunday until the
• 1:06:31
Speaker 1: fourth century, after the Early Church, and it didn't get
• 1:06:36
Speaker 1: big to the eighth century, eight hundred years after the Resurrection,
• 1:06:43
Speaker 1: before Palm Sunday became embedded in the Christian theology, so
• 1:06:50
Speaker 1: before it was a tradition. Why did you spend so
• 1:06:54
Speaker 1: much time articulating the text to me? He said, because
• 1:06:59
Speaker 1: I want my people to have trusting.
• 1:07:05
  Speaker 2: Beyond knowing.
• 1:07:13
  Speaker 1: To to trust.
• 1:07:16
Speaker 2: Me when you don't know how things are going to
• 1:07:19
Speaker 2: turn out. This is important. Please, God told me this is.
• 1:07:26
Speaker 1: Important, he said, I want somebody to trust me before
• 1:07:31
Speaker 1: knowing to trust me when I make a U turn
• 1:07:39
Speaker 1: to trust me. When I had something in mind different
• 1:07:42
Speaker 1: from what you had in mind to trust me when
• 1:07:46
Speaker 1: you had bad theology. To trust me when you thought
• 1:07:50
Speaker 1: I was going to do something one way and I
• 1:07:54
Speaker 1: did it another way. To trust me when you understand
• 1:07:59
Speaker 1: that you think of earthly kingdoms, and my kingdom is
• 1:08:04
Speaker 1: not of this world. And sometime I have to disappoint
• 1:08:08
Speaker 1: you to elevate you.
• 1:08:12
Speaker 2: Come come on, come on, come on.
• 1:08:16
Speaker 1: Trust me. Trust me if I break your heart, trust me,
• 1:08:23
Speaker 1: if I let you down.
• 1:08:25
  Speaker 2: Trust me.
• 1:08:27
Speaker 1: You were going out to Pilot. I was going out
• 1:08:30
Speaker 1: to Saytan, trust me. You got a bigger enemy than
• 1:08:36
Speaker 1: what you see. And while you're trying to get me
• 1:08:39
Speaker 1: to deal with somebody that I know is gonna be
• 1:08:42
Speaker 1: overthrown in a few years. Anyway, I'm going after your
• 1:08:46
Speaker 1: real enemy. He was wounding it for my transgressions.
• 1:08:53
  Speaker 3: He was bruded.
• 1:08:55
Speaker 1: I gotta stalk there for my iniquities. The trustise me
• 1:09:00
Speaker 1: of my peace was upon him, and with his straits
• 1:09:05
Speaker 1: I am heal for this purpose. What's the son of
• 1:09:09
Speaker 1: man made manifest? That he might destroy the old card
• 1:09:15
Speaker 1: of mercy. I'm about to feel like I'm forty one,
• 1:09:18
Speaker 1: that he might destroy the works of the devil. I
• 1:09:23
Speaker 1: didn't come to destroy Pilot I told you he's gonna
• 1:09:27
Speaker 1: destroy himself. Not one stone will be left standing upon another.
• 1:09:32
Speaker 1: But I came to destroy the works of the devil.
• 1:09:37
Speaker 1: Somebody shall destroy it. Destroy cancer. Holler destroyed, destroy suicide.
• 1:09:45
Speaker 1: Hollow destroy, destroyed mental pain, to Holler destroy, destroy kidney disease,
• 1:09:52
Speaker 1: Holler destroy, destroy leukemia. Somebody hollered destroy.
• 1:10:04
Speaker 2: That's all. Here is our great challenge. It's to not
• 1:10:13
Speaker 2: be like the palm throwers and the lip service people.
• 1:10:21
Speaker 1: To be like the Disciples means they gave their coat
• 1:10:26
Speaker 1: to a savior that they knew was gonna die.
• 1:10:33
Speaker 2: Now that's wash them to trust me.
• 1:10:37
Speaker 1: I'm knowing. That means I give you my coat. If
• 1:10:44
Speaker 1: you don't restore the kingdom, that's good. That's good. That
• 1:10:49
Speaker 1: means I give you my coat. If I keep on
• 1:10:52
Speaker 1: living out my same normal routine as long as I
• 1:10:57
Speaker 1: got you. Yeah, Yeah, that means.
• 1:11:05
Speaker 2: That I keep on praising you.
• 1:11:08
Speaker 1: Married or not, boyfriend or nots, big house and notts,
• 1:11:16
Speaker 1: mutual funds are notts. That means that I praise you
• 1:11:20
Speaker 1: job or nots. That means if my hair stop growing,
• 1:11:25
Speaker 1: I'll praise you with a bald head. That means if
• 1:11:28
Speaker 1: my hair turns whiter, I'll praise you up into my
• 1:11:31
Speaker 1: old age. That means that the building is empty, I'll
• 1:11:35
Speaker 1: still praise your name. If there is no crowd, I'll
• 1:11:39
Speaker 1: still praise your name. If I have to preach in
• 1:11:42
Speaker 1: the jail house, I'll still preach your worry, because it's
• 1:11:46
Speaker 1: not about dollars and cents.
• 1:11:48
Speaker 2: It's about purpose and passion.
• 1:11:54
Speaker 1: And I want to raise up somebody who trusts beyond knowledge.
• 1:12:01
Speaker 1: Stand to your feet. I'm close with this. The ways
• 1:12:06
Speaker 1: of the Lord are high lifted up. Even the people
• 1:12:10
Speaker 1: who suppose to know what he's doing don't know. Even
• 1:12:15
Speaker 1: the people who think they know don't know. I tell
• 1:12:19
Speaker 1: all the preachers all the time, do all the teaching
• 1:12:21
Speaker 1: you're gonna teach down here. Write all the books you're
• 1:12:25
Speaker 1: gonna write down here. There will be no bookstores in heaven.
• 1:12:32
Speaker 1: If you want to be a professor, be a professor
• 1:12:34
Speaker 1: down here, because there will be no professors, and there
• 1:12:37
Speaker 1: will be no universities in heaven, because all of our
• 1:12:41
Speaker 1: knowledge amounts to foolishness.
• 1:12:45
Speaker 2: When he shall up hear.
• 1:12:48
Speaker 1: There will be none of us teaching him theology, hermeneutics, homiletics,
• 1:12:55
Speaker 1: all of these man made names, normatology, we won't be
• 1:12:58
Speaker 1: teaching nothing. We'll sit out at his feet. We'll sit
• 1:13:10
Speaker 1: out at his feet, and he will say, I love
• 1:13:17
Speaker 1: you because you trust me beyond knowing. Now, there are
• 1:13:24
Speaker 1: people in this room that are dealing with all kinds
• 1:13:26
Speaker 1: of stuff, and you deal with the stress of not.
• 1:13:30
Speaker 2: Knowing how it's gonna turn out.
• 1:13:32
Speaker 1: Right. Yeah, you don't know if you're gonna get the
• 1:13:36
Speaker 1: home back together or not. You don't know if the
• 1:13:40
Speaker 1: kids are going through school or not right. You don't
• 1:13:43
Speaker 1: know if they're not blowing your heart earned money, smoking
• 1:13:47
Speaker 1: up their tuition. You don't know if they're coming home
• 1:13:52
Speaker 1: pregnant or anytime to be positive. You don't know for
• 1:13:58
Speaker 1: sure if you're gonna laid off tomorrow. You cannot have
• 1:14:05
Speaker 1: faith based on knowing.
• 1:14:13
Speaker 2: Because I'm gonna tell you the truth. Man, I'm gonna
• 1:14:17
Speaker 2: tell you the truth sometime. I don't know. I don't know.
• 1:14:26
Speaker 2: I don't know if everything's gonna be okay.
• 1:14:30
Speaker 1: I don't know if I don't want to have to cry.
• 1:14:33
Speaker 1: I don't know who I have to say goodbye to.
• 1:14:36
Speaker 1: I don't know if this is the last time.
• 1:14:38
  Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know if the market's going
• 1:14:43
Speaker 2: up and down. I don't know if my house will
• 1:14:46
  Speaker 2: sell or not.
• 1:14:48
Speaker 1: I don't know if I finish my strategy or drop
• 1:14:53
Speaker 1: dead when I walk off the stage.
• 1:14:56
Speaker 2: I don't know. But the beauty of my past is
• 1:15:01
Speaker 2: that I can trust to be unknowing.
• 1:15:14
Speaker 1: To all my brothers and sisters who have to know everything.
• 1:15:18
Speaker 1: Where we're gonna stay, Where we're gonna live, but we
• 1:15:21
Speaker 1: gonna eat it, What we're gonna do, How much money
• 1:15:24
Speaker 1: we're gonna make you, let me see how much rent
• 1:15:27
  Speaker 1: we gonna pay.
• 1:15:28
Speaker 2: Let me see if it makes sense to me.
• 1:15:30
Speaker 1: To all of you people who have to know everything,
• 1:15:34
Speaker 1: you are canceling out a chance to walk with God
• 1:15:40
Speaker 1: the word, because to walk with God is to be
• 1:15:46
Speaker 1: cool with uncertainty. To be cool with uncertain you'll know
• 1:15:51
Speaker 1: whether your parents, whether your patience, are gonna live or not.
• 1:15:55
Speaker 1: You do everything you know how to do, and you pray,
• 1:15:58
Speaker 1: and you sow and you give, and you're great doctors.
• 1:16:01
Speaker 1: But you don't know. Don't nobody know but God. You
• 1:16:07
Speaker 1: look at all evidence and make a decision as a judge,
• 1:16:10
Speaker 1: But you don't know. We don't know. It's okay to
• 1:16:16
Speaker 1: not know. Stop trying to know everything. They saw the
• 1:16:25
Speaker 1: cult and they thought it was the kingdom, but the
• 1:16:30
Speaker 1: kingdom was not of this world. And the reason they could,
• 1:16:34
Speaker 1: with such venom say crucify him is because they were disappointed.
• 1:16:41
Speaker 1: And the reason they were disappointed is because they expected
• 1:16:46
Speaker 1: something that was not in God's plan. What have you
• 1:16:51
Speaker 1: expected that is not in God's plan? And you got
• 1:16:56
Speaker 1: the nerve to tell God he lets you down? How
• 1:17:03
Speaker 1: dare you say he lets you down like it's his
• 1:17:07
Speaker 1: job to fulfill your desire. God don't work for you.
• 1:17:12
Speaker 1: God doesn't work for you. You work for God. God
• 1:17:17
Speaker 1: doesn't work for you, and it is not his job
• 1:17:23
Speaker 1: to fulfill your desires. You done carried that boss thing
• 1:17:28
Speaker 1: too far. You don't run up on the real boss. Now,
• 1:17:33
Speaker 1: the real boss, the ruler of the universe, and his
• 1:17:39
Speaker 1: thoughts are above our thoughts, and his ways are above
• 1:17:41
  Speaker 1: our ways.
• 1:17:43
Speaker 2: And he told me to tell you, And I don't
• 1:17:45
Speaker 2: know who is for it.
• 1:17:47
Speaker 1: I don't know whether you're in the room or in
• 1:17:50
Speaker 1: the back, or in the balcony, or you just got in.
• 1:17:53
Speaker 2: It, or you're long doing.
• 1:17:56
Speaker 1: But God says he's not gonna let you know, so
• 1:18:02
Speaker 1: stop asking him to make you know. He said he
• 1:18:11
Speaker 1: requires of you that you trust beyond knowing. My third clothes,
• 1:18:27
Speaker 1: he won't stop talking to me. He told Abraham to
• 1:18:31
Speaker 1: get up early in the morning and take the sun
• 1:18:35
Speaker 1: that he waited one hundred years to have, and he said.
• 1:18:39
Speaker 2: Take him to a place I will show you.
• 1:18:43
Speaker 1: So Abraham loads up the wagon and takes his son,
• 1:18:48
Speaker 1: and it SAIDs where we're going, I don't know, but
• 1:18:52
Speaker 1: I'll know it when I see it. That's how you
• 1:18:56
Speaker 1: live your life. You want to know, you can't know.
• 1:19:08
Speaker 1: You have to follow one to know. You have to
• 1:19:12
Speaker 1: just where we going, Daddy, I'm not sure. He said,
• 1:19:17
Speaker 1: It's somewhere out here, and I know it when I
• 1:19:21
Speaker 1: see it, and I trust beyond knowing. And when he
• 1:19:28
Speaker 1: the Bible said he was three days off from the place,
• 1:19:30
Speaker 1: and he looked up and he saw the place.
• 1:19:33
Speaker 2: He said, that's it. Now I know the place.
• 1:19:37
Speaker 1: And so he starts up the hill and he says
• 1:19:39
Speaker 1: to the servants, stay, hear me in the land, are
• 1:19:42
Speaker 1: going your hunder the worship. And he starts up on
• 1:19:44
Speaker 1: the hill to go from one not knowing to another
• 1:19:48
Speaker 1: not knowing. The boy says to him.
• 1:19:50
Speaker 2: Daddy, I see the knife, and I see the.
• 1:19:52
Speaker 1: Wood where it's the sacrifice he said, I don't know.
• 1:19:58
Speaker 2: I don't know where it is.
• 1:19:59
Speaker 1: I just know that God himself shall provide the sacrifice.
• 1:20:06
Speaker 1: Here's God's word to you. Here's God's word to you, warriors.
• 1:20:13
Speaker 1: It'll be there when you get there. Abraham goes up
• 1:20:23
Speaker 1: from the mountaintop raises up his knife to slay. You
• 1:20:29
Speaker 1: have to have a son to understand it. This is unthinkable.
• 1:20:35
Speaker 1: This is just something I can't hardly even preach it.
• 1:20:40
Speaker 1: To lay my son on the altar and raise a
• 1:20:45
Speaker 1: knife to stab my son as I can't even preach it.
• 1:20:51
Speaker 1: And Abraham raises his hand to slay his son, and
• 1:20:56
Speaker 1: all of a sudden, you hear Abraham, stay your hand
• 1:21:06
Speaker 1: been hold, I have a ram in the thicket. You
• 1:21:10
Speaker 1: didn't know it. You didn't know it. God says, you
• 1:21:15
Speaker 1: don't know what he has in store for you. Stop
• 1:21:20
Speaker 1: saying stupid stuff. I'm gonna kill myself. My life is
• 1:21:23
  Speaker 1: not worth him.
• 1:21:24
  Speaker 2: Shut.
• 1:21:28
Speaker 1: You have to trust me on knowing, because you don't
• 1:21:32
Speaker 1: know what's coming up the other side of the hill.
• 1:21:34
Speaker 1: While Abraham was coming up this side, the answer was
• 1:21:37
Speaker 1: coming up on that side. And faith is not about
• 1:21:42
Speaker 1: what you know, it's about.
• 1:21:45
  Speaker 2: What you don't.
• 1:21:45
Speaker 1: No bless it are they who have not seen, and
• 1:21:55
Speaker 1: yet they believe about heads and closed eyes. I'm done.
