- 0:34Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, well, across our entire service area Bartlesville included.
- 0:40Speaker 2: We provide primary care services, which is like you're just
- 0:44Speaker 2: general family doctor. We provide behavioral health services there in
- 0:48Speaker 2: Battlespiel that would be able to be done via telemedicine,
- 0:52Speaker 2: as well as psychiatry services, so we have sports certified
- 0:55Speaker 2: psychiatrists on staff and we could also do that in
- 0:59Speaker 2: the Bartlesviil clin through telemed We provide pediatric services, so
- 1:05Speaker 2: all of our providers are able to see both adults
- 1:09Speaker 2: and children. We have pharmacy services and three of our
- 1:13Speaker 2: locations those uh include Euphaula, Chakota and Stigma. I know
- 1:18Speaker 2: that's not terribly close to you guys in Bartle School,
- 1:21Speaker 2: but we do have pharmacy partners in the Battlestill and
- 1:24Speaker 2: Tulsa area that allow our patients to receive their medications
- 1:29Speaker 2: at very good prices. We provide substance use disorder treatments
- 1:36Speaker 2: both outpatient and residential, meaning if you need to go
- 1:39Speaker 2: to what most people would refer to as rehab, we
- 1:42Speaker 2: do have two facilities for that as well in our
- 1:47Speaker 2: Stigler and Sallasy locations. We also have optometry and dentistry,
- 1:52Speaker 2: but can get referrals for any of those services as
- 1:55Speaker 2: well through the Battlesteel Clinic.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Wow, that's a lot. Goodness, take a little bit of
- 1:59Speaker 1: a house over there. What types of diseases or symptoms
- 2:03Speaker 1: can you treat to hear at the clinic?
- 2:06Speaker 2: Well, you know, once I list the services, you can
- 2:09Speaker 2: kind of.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Figure some of that out mostly basically anything basically anything
- 2:15Speaker 3: from your ongoing Kay, I've got high blood pressure to
- 2:18Speaker 3: your oh my I woke up sick.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Today, you know. In the behavioral health arena or psychiatry,
- 2:25Speaker 2: you know, we treating guiding depression. We also do that
- 2:28Speaker 2: through our primary care if you have more significant behavioral
- 2:32Speaker 2: health issues. We can cover those. We mentioned the substance
- 2:36Speaker 2: use disorder. You know, we have a lot of folks
- 2:40Speaker 2: being treated for their substance use and opiate disorder with
- 2:44Speaker 2: certain medications that we provide that so yeah, we can.
- 2:49Speaker 2: We can treat just about anything you can come up with.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Well, doctor Jennifer, this is pretty cool because when folks
- 2:56Speaker 1: should drive by and they think, oh wow, that's a
- 2:58Speaker 1: cute little clinic and there thin and well maybe it's
- 3:00Speaker 1: an en urgent care. You know, I can you know,
- 3:02Speaker 1: get bandaged up a boo boo, or I can get
- 3:05Speaker 1: checked on for something that I'm not sure about. But
- 3:09Speaker 1: when you talk about the substance abuse and the psychological
- 3:12Speaker 1: aspect of it, that that's just a whole new chapter.
- 3:15Speaker 1: That's something that really kind of kind of new and
- 3:18Speaker 1: groundbreaking for around here. It's really neat. And now are
- 3:21Speaker 1: you walk in or urgent care? What type of clinic
- 3:24Speaker 1: are you here?
- 3:25Speaker 2: Well, again keeping with our broad spectrum, yeah, very broad
- 3:30Speaker 2: at all. You can make an appointment, you know, by
- 3:34Speaker 2: calling the number, you can walk in. You can call
- 3:39Speaker 2: and almost always get in on the very same day
- 3:41Speaker 2: if you know you have acute illness, and you can
- 3:45Speaker 2: basically be seen for just about anything. And if you
- 3:48Speaker 2: do come in and the provider there says, wow, this
- 3:51Speaker 2: isn't something I handle. We have a whole team of
- 3:53Speaker 2: folks that we can use to help get referrals. We
- 3:58Speaker 2: can do specialty referral care and get you where you
- 4:02Speaker 2: need to be.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Now we've got the cold and flu season upon us here. Yeah,
- 4:08Speaker 1: so I imagine you're going to have a lot of
- 4:10Speaker 1: folks coming in with a little bit of a steeze
- 4:12Speaker 1: or a cop for our running nos going how can
- 4:14Speaker 1: I get help?
- 4:15Speaker 2: Absolutely Yet, we have a full gamut of testing, so
- 4:20Speaker 2: you know you can. If you are already symptomatic, we
- 4:23Speaker 2: can test you for flu, we can test you for COVID,
- 4:27Speaker 2: we can test you for RSV, which has kind of
- 4:29Speaker 2: been one of the more new popular things happening to
- 4:33Speaker 2: not just children but adults now. If you don't have
- 4:37Speaker 2: symptoms and you don't want symptoms, we offer flu vaccinations,
- 4:41Speaker 2: and if you're an established patient with our clinic, you
- 4:46Speaker 2: can just walk in and get a flu vaccination if
- 4:49Speaker 2: you've been seen in the last three months or so. Otherwise,
- 4:53Speaker 2: we do like an appointment just so that we can
- 4:55Speaker 2: get that history and make sure that we're doing the
- 4:58Speaker 2: right thing and know everything about before we just start
- 5:01Speaker 2: sticking you as needles. We offer you know, the full
- 5:05Speaker 2: gamut of treatment for you know, cold flu, brount, higher pneumonia,
- 5:10Speaker 2: all of that. And like I said, we do have
- 5:13Speaker 2: that urgent treatment available if you're all of a sudden,
- 5:17Speaker 2: which seems to happen quite frequently.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Oh it does, and then yeah, go ahead, I said,
- 5:23Speaker 1: oh it does.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, And then of course if you just show
- 5:28Speaker 2: up as you know, walking in, we always will do
- 5:31Speaker 2: our best to get you in quickly.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Wow. And you know, we talked a little bit about
- 5:37Speaker 1: some of the long term things like high blood pressure
- 5:40Speaker 1: and things like that. Diabetes is another one that seems
- 5:43Speaker 1: to well, I tell you what, the number of people
- 5:45Speaker 1: with diabetes is kind of quadrupled here over the last
- 5:48Speaker 1: twenty thirty years, and people have a wide variety of
- 5:52Speaker 1: on the spectrum of where they are. Can you help
- 5:55Speaker 1: folks with diabetes.
- 5:57Speaker 2: We sure can. We do a lot of product disease management,
- 6:01Speaker 2: including diabetes and hypertension, which are very at the top
- 6:05Speaker 2: of the list of GAH chronic disease, you know, and
- 6:08Speaker 2: then we can also offer what we call chronic care management.
- 6:11Speaker 2: We have a team of folks, uh that include nurses
- 6:15Speaker 2: and also community health workers that can help people navigate
- 6:20Speaker 2: those diseases a little bit better. And we're about to
- 6:23Speaker 2: open a whole program on just those two diseases, diabetes
- 6:27Speaker 2: and hypertension to help improve long term outcomes for that
- 6:32Speaker 2: using that interesting team as well as the community health
- 6:35Speaker 2: worker team. And so we're really really excited to kick
- 6:39Speaker 2: that off starting actually kicking it off tomorrow.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Wow. Nice. Yeah, Now once again you're you're open quite
- 6:47Speaker 1: a bit. It's a seven days a week.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Correct, yes, and each you know, each clinic has their
- 6:55Speaker 2: own hours that most of them are now able to
- 6:59Speaker 2: be seven days a week.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, that's great there when you need them. Nice
- 7:03Speaker 1: to know that they're in case you need them. That
- 7:05Speaker 1: is our friends here at Health and Wellness right here
- 7:09Speaker 1: in Bartlesville at the corner of Frank Phillips Boulevard and
- 7:13Speaker 1: the kwaw Paw Avenue just right across the street to
- 7:16Speaker 1: a Quawpa here at the radio station. When the building
- 7:21Speaker 1: was going up, everyone was wondering what's that going to be?
- 7:23Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, what are they doing over there? And
- 7:26Speaker 1: then the next thing you know, it's like, oh wow,
- 7:28Speaker 1: that's pretty needed right here in this little part of
- 7:30Speaker 1: our town. And you've been doing a pretty good business
- 7:33Speaker 1: here too. A lot of walk ins coming in and
- 7:35Speaker 1: folks are getting their needs taken care of. And it's
- 7:38Speaker 1: really nice to have you here in the neighborhood.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Thank you very much. We're happy to be there and
- 7:45Speaker 2: up and running.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Finally, now folks.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Want to know a little bit more about your business.
- 7:50Speaker 1: You've got probably a website that they could consult. Just
- 7:53Speaker 1: kind of google Health and Wellness and it can get there.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Correct, Yes, it's health wellness.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Okay, that's so easy. I can remember it that, you know,
- 8:04Speaker 1: I'm a geezer. Wow, I can even get to that.
