• 0:03
Speaker 1: Nacky and it's time right now for today's word standing stronger.
• 0:12
Speaker 1: Psalms ninety two to twelve says the righteous will flourish
• 0:15
Speaker 1: like a palm tree. You know, it's Palm Sunday weekend.
• 0:20
Speaker 1: Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, where he
• 0:26
Speaker 1: was greeted by crowds waving palm branches, marking the beginning
• 0:31
Speaker 1: of Holy Week and the events leading up to his crucifixion.
• 0:35
Speaker 1: Many churches will have their palm branches to celebrate. They'll
• 0:39
Speaker 1: be waving them in the air. So today I wanted
• 0:42
Speaker 1: to talk for a second about that palm tree. See
• 0:46
Speaker 1: the reason God said in today's scripture that we'd flourish
• 0:51
Speaker 1: like a palm tree is that God knew we would
• 0:53
Speaker 1: go through difficult times. But here's what's interesting about the
• 0:57
Speaker 1: palm tree. When it's been over by the strong winds
• 1:02
Speaker 1: during a hurricane. Research shows that the extreme stretching is
• 1:06
Speaker 1: actually strengthening the root system and giving it new opportunities
• 1:11
Speaker 1: for growth. Hello, somebody, see after the storm, when the
• 1:14
Speaker 1: palm tree straightens back up, it's actually standing stronger than
• 1:18
Speaker 1: it was before. Come old Jesus, and he said, the
• 1:22
Speaker 1: righteous will flourish like the palm tree. That's what God
• 1:28
Speaker 1: does for us when we go through difficult times. When
• 1:33
Speaker 1: you come out of the storm that was meant to
• 1:36
Speaker 1: defeat you, when you straighten back up, you're not gonna
• 1:39
Speaker 1: be the same. You're gonna be stronger. You're gonna stand stronger.
• 1:43
Speaker 1: You're gonna be healthier. You're gonna be wiser, You're gonna
• 1:46
Speaker 1: be better off and ready for new growth. God never
• 1:51
Speaker 1: brings you out the same. He makes the enemy pay
• 1:54
Speaker 1: you back double for your trouble. The enemy has to
• 1:56
Speaker 1: pay for even bringing the times of darkness and trouble
• 2:00
Speaker 1: into your life. So don't get discouraged in your storms
• 2:03
Speaker 1: and your stretching season. Remember you are like the palm tree.
• 2:07
Speaker 1: Your roots are going to be stronger. You're not only
• 2:10
Speaker 1: going to still be standing, you're going to be standing stronger. Come,
• 2:15
Speaker 1: oh Jesus, Father, thank you for giving us the promise
• 2:19
Speaker 1: that because our roots are in you, we will flourish
• 2:23
Speaker 1: through the storms. Help us to sink our roots of
• 2:26
Speaker 1: faith deeper in you and trust in your faithfulness. God.
• 2:30
Speaker 1: We declare that We're going to stand stronger in you
• 2:34
Speaker 1: in Jesus' name. Now, that's your word for today. Take
• 2:37
Speaker 1: it apply to your everyday life, and you continue to
• 2:40
Speaker 1: be encourage and inspired. It's your Early What He Praise Party.
