Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / JD Vance Admits the White House “Screwed Up” the Epstein Files Release (7/16/26)
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. So jd. Vance went onto the Joe Rogan
- 0:07Speaker 1: Show recently and he had a lot to say about
- 0:10Speaker 1: a lot of things. Obviously, we're going to focus on
- 0:13Speaker 1: what he had to say about Epstein, but as you
- 0:16Speaker 1: can imagine, jd Vance had a lot to say about
- 0:18Speaker 1: a lot of things, including what's going on in Iran
- 0:22Speaker 1: and that Israel, or at least some people in Israel
- 0:26Speaker 1: want to keep the hostilities going. And look, I don't
- 0:29Speaker 1: doubt that for a minute. At the end of the day,
- 0:31Speaker 1: war is big business and a lot of these people
- 0:33Speaker 1: are getting rich because of these wars. Now over in Israel,
- 0:39Speaker 1: there's a lot of other things to consider, right, You're
- 0:42Speaker 1: talking about ancient arch enemies here with blood feuds and
- 0:46Speaker 1: all kinds of crazy shit. So of course there's going
- 0:50Speaker 1: to be people on both sides that don't want to
- 0:53Speaker 1: come to the table. The idea is to find the
- 0:56Speaker 1: people that do want to come to the table, because
- 1:00Speaker 1: guess what, that's what Detante is right. You don't negotiate
- 1:04Speaker 1: with your allies. You negotiate with your enemies, and you
- 1:08Speaker 1: try and come to a resolution that works for everybody,
- 1:11Speaker 1: and unfortunately we just can't get to that place when
- 1:13Speaker 1: it comes to Israel and the Palestinians. But that, of
- 1:17Speaker 1: course is a conversation for a different time. Instead, we're
- 1:21Speaker 1: going to talk about what j. D Vance had to
- 1:23Speaker 1: say about Jeffrey Epstein and how J. D Vance also
- 1:27Speaker 1: believes that Jeffrey Epstein was connected to intelligence. So today
- 1:33Speaker 1: we have an article from the New York Post and
- 1:35Speaker 1: the headline jd Vance tells Joe Rogan Israel wants to
- 1:39Speaker 1: keep Iran war going indefinitely and the Trump administration screwed
- 1:44Speaker 1: up on the Epstein files. Well, I disagree with him
- 1:47Speaker 1: saying they screwed up, because that would mean it was
- 1:50Speaker 1: an accident. This was not an accident. This was all
- 1:53Speaker 1: by design, the whole, entire, disgusting ordeal. This article was
- 1:58Speaker 1: authored by Victor Nava. Vice President. Jay d Vance asserted
- 2:03Speaker 1: in a bombshell interview with Joe Rogan that some in
- 2:06Speaker 1: the Israeli government want to derail US negotiations with Iran
- 2:11Speaker 1: to keep the war going indefinitely. And he acknowledged that
- 2:14Speaker 1: the Trump administration screwed up the release of the Epstein files. Well, yeah,
- 2:21Speaker 1: he they sure did. But like I said, screwed up
- 2:23Speaker 1: means that they made a mistake. This was not a mistake.
- 2:27Speaker 1: All of it was done by design. And now Jay
- 2:30Speaker 1: d Vance is out here trying to run a narrative.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt that there
- 2:36Speaker 1: have been people within the Israeli government who are trying
- 2:39Speaker 1: to like actually shift us away from negotiations because they
- 2:43Speaker 1: want to continue the military campaign, Vance told the popular
- 2:46Speaker 1: podcaster during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience released
- 2:49Speaker 1: on Wednesday. And look, we're not going to get too
- 2:53Speaker 1: deep into that because that leads us into a side
- 2:55Speaker 1: quest and I'm not going to fall for that trap. Instead,
- 2:58Speaker 1: We're going to focus on the real problem, And the
- 3:01Speaker 1: real problem is Jeffrey Epstein's friends. There are some people
- 3:05Speaker 1: within their system, we know, beyond the shadow of a doubt,
- 3:07Speaker 1: who are manipulating and trying to change American public opinion
- 3:11Speaker 1: to keep the war going indefinitely. The Vice President later added, again,
- 3:15Speaker 1: not towards any objective, but just indefinitely. And just to
- 3:19Speaker 1: be clear, I'm not a big fan of any of
- 3:22Speaker 1: these foreign excursions, if you will now look, I'm not
- 3:26Speaker 1: a pacifist and I'm not against military operations, but military
- 3:30Speaker 1: operations that make sense, military operations that help the American people,
- 3:35Speaker 1: and I don't find this excursion in Iran to be
- 3:39Speaker 1: doing that. At the same time, I don't want you
- 3:42Speaker 1: to take that from me saying that I'm not happy
- 3:45Speaker 1: that the Ayatola got blasted into oblivion. I am. I'm
- 3:48Speaker 1: old enough to remember who the Ayatola is and was,
- 3:52Speaker 1: So two things can be true at once, right. I
- 3:55Speaker 1: just wish America wasn't involved. We have plenty of problems domestically.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Why we have to be making excursions back to the
- 4:02Speaker 1: Middle East without naming is real. Advance further alleged that
- 4:07Speaker 1: there is a very discreet, extremely well funded, literal foreign
- 4:10Speaker 1: influence campaign being funded to tank the Iran deal, and
- 4:14Speaker 1: I'm sure that's true too. Make no mistake. When there's
- 4:17Speaker 1: money on the line, and the amount of money we're
- 4:19Speaker 1: talking about when it comes to war, these people don't
- 4:23Speaker 1: give a fuck. Do you think that they care that
- 4:26Speaker 1: soldiers in the idea for having drones rain down on
- 4:29Speaker 1: top of them in Lebanon, not if it keeps their
- 4:32Speaker 1: war going, not if it keeps them, you know, rolling
- 4:36Speaker 1: in the dough. And believe me, the same goes for
- 4:38Speaker 1: the other side. What you think the Palestinians are being
- 4:42Speaker 1: looked after by Hamas? Give me a break, dude. People
- 4:46Speaker 1: that go that far the other way, they're a big
- 4:48Speaker 1: part of the problem, because I assure you Hamas doesn't
- 4:53Speaker 1: give one single fuck about the people of Palestine. I
- 4:58Speaker 1: think that the president completely separate from any influence from Israel,
- 5:01Speaker 1: believes very strongly and again I agree with this that
- 5:04Speaker 1: Iran should not have a nuclear weapon. Vance described himself
- 5:08Speaker 1: as a reasonable moderate in the massive pro Israel anti
- 5:12Speaker 1: Israel Israel debate taking place in the US. Yeah, I
- 5:15Speaker 1: find myself somewhere in the middle. Like, I don't like
- 5:18Speaker 1: our entanglements with Israel, and I certainly don't like any
- 5:22Speaker 1: kind of involvement in any of their nonsense. But at
- 5:25Speaker 1: the same time, I'm a realist and I understand how
- 5:27Speaker 1: foreign policy works. And I also understand that America is
- 5:32Speaker 1: certainly an empire and Israel is just a vassal state
- 5:35Speaker 1: of that empire, no different than rome same kind of stuff.
- 5:41Speaker 1: So I get both sides of this argument. What I
- 5:43Speaker 1: don't like is when people are disingenuous about what's really
- 5:46Speaker 1: going on. He also noted that there's a lot of
- 5:49Speaker 1: elements within the Israeli government that actually do like our
- 5:53Speaker 1: peace process and recognize that an indefinite campaign is not
- 5:57Speaker 1: good for them either. Vance argue that bombing e On
- 6:00Speaker 1: to oblivion wouldn't make it any easier to secure the
- 6:03Speaker 1: Strait of Horror moves. Yo, wasn't the Straight of Horror
- 6:06Speaker 1: moves open before all of this started. It didn't become
- 6:09Speaker 1: an issue until we start a bombing people. You would
- 6:13Speaker 1: think that if they're going to have some kind of
- 6:15Speaker 1: military campaign, they'd have a plan for the Strait of
- 6:17Speaker 1: Horror moves, But I guess not. And this is another problem.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I'm not willing to go to war unless America is
- 6:25Speaker 1: willing to go all the way, and the American people
- 6:29Speaker 1: don't have the heart for that. Because when I say
- 6:32Speaker 1: all the way, I mean all the way. War should
- 6:35Speaker 1: be hell. And if you're going to get involved in
- 6:38Speaker 1: one of these conflicts, there should be no doubt who
- 6:41Speaker 1: the winner is when all is said and done. And
- 6:44Speaker 1: if you can't do that, then my advice is don't
- 6:47Speaker 1: even bother because it's not going to end well for you.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And we've seen it time and time again. Iraq, Afghanistan,
- 6:56Speaker 1: all these different countries in the Middle East. Their way
- 6:59Speaker 1: of life is not compatible with the Western style democracy,
- 7:03Speaker 1: and we just need to accept that. You can bomb them,
- 7:06Speaker 1: you can take away their radar, you can take away
- 7:08Speaker 1: some of their drones and some of their missiles. But
- 7:11Speaker 1: it's just too easy to fire at ships in the straits,
- 7:14Speaker 1: he said, So you've got to actually be willing to
- 7:16Speaker 1: talk and try to figure out the problem. Well, wouldn't
- 7:19Speaker 1: that have been the thing to do before attacking. I mean,
- 7:22Speaker 1: I don't know, Maybe I'm just stupid, but I would
- 7:25Speaker 1: think that the detent would come before attacking. And I
- 7:28Speaker 1: would also think if you're going to attack, you'd have
- 7:30Speaker 1: a plan to deal with the straight of war moves.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Seems like a pretty significant part of the train no.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Vance refused to say if you would have launched the
- 7:40Speaker 1: Iran War if you were president. I'm not a public commentator,
- 7:44Speaker 1: he argued, while noting Trump described him as being less
- 7:47Speaker 1: than enthusiastic about the Iran War than others in his administration.
- 7:52Speaker 1: My approach to this is to not Monday Morning quarterback,
- 7:55Speaker 1: a decision that was made three months ago, Vance explained.
- 7:58Speaker 1: My approach is to try to make it as successful
- 8:00Speaker 1: as possible, which is why I've poured my heart and
- 8:03Speaker 1: soul into these negotiations. Look, I'm not a gigantic fan
- 8:07Speaker 1: of JD. Vance to say the least, but anyone working
- 8:11Speaker 1: for peace you gotta think that's a good thing, right
- 8:14Speaker 1: Because at the end of the day, what is this accomplished?
- 8:17Speaker 1: What did we get done? What did America achieve? I mean,
- 8:21Speaker 1: everything that we heard about, what Iran was up to,
- 8:24Speaker 1: they're still doing. So if all that money spent, all
- 8:27Speaker 1: those resources gone, what did we get for it? That's right?
- 8:31Speaker 1: Absolutely nothing. Once again, midway through the nearly three hour
- 8:36Speaker 1: long interview, Rogan asked Vance about the Trump administration's resistance
- 8:40Speaker 1: to releasing government files related to a notorious sex criminal,
- 8:44Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. The Vice President acknowledged missteps, but insisted there
- 8:49Speaker 1: was no cover up. Oh yeah, no cover up. Huh sure, Jadvance,
- 8:53Speaker 1: Sure there's no cover up. Anyone who believes that is
- 8:58Speaker 1: dumber than Todd Blanche. We absolutely screwed up the coms
- 9:03Speaker 1: of the Epstein files, like we just did. Van said,
- 9:07Speaker 1: But do I think the reason we screwed up the
- 9:08Speaker 1: coms is because we were trying to hide something? No? Well,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I don't believe you. How about that? I mean, you
- 9:16Speaker 1: won't even turn the information over to New Mexico. So
- 9:20Speaker 1: what are you even talking about. How can you look
- 9:23Speaker 1: at anybody square in the face and tell them that
- 9:25Speaker 1: you're not hiding anything when you most certainly are. A
- 9:29Speaker 1: month into Trump's second term, former Attorney General Pam Bondy
- 9:32Speaker 1: infamously teased during a Fox News interview that Epstein's client
- 9:36Speaker 1: list was sitting on my desk right now to review
- 9:39Speaker 1: and would be released, which I told you at the
- 9:41Speaker 1: time was absolute nonsense, and that's because breaking news. There's
- 9:46Speaker 1: never been a list. Days later, Bondi gave binders labeled
- 9:51Speaker 1: the Epstein Files Phase one to a group of conservative
- 9:54Speaker 1: influencers who had been invited to the White House. However,
- 9:58Speaker 1: the binders contained no no new information, but were merely
- 10:02Speaker 1: extracts from the notorious Pedophiles phone book, all stuff we
- 10:05Speaker 1: had seen previously. And then those influencers or whatever you
- 10:09Speaker 1: want to call them, just went on with their merry lives,
- 10:13Speaker 1: and some of them even went on to start talking
- 10:15Speaker 1: about the Epstein Files. You want to talk about drifting,
- 10:19Speaker 1: you want to talk about being a tourist here it is,
- 10:23Speaker 1: I don't know what the purpose of it was, but
- 10:25Speaker 1: I know that the effect of it was to make
- 10:27Speaker 1: people mistrust the entire effort. Van said, well, well, well,
- 10:32Speaker 1: what do you know admitting that you guys fucked it up,
- 10:36Speaker 1: and not only fucked it up, but that people have
- 10:39Speaker 1: a reason to not trust you. I know, Pam, I
- 10:43Speaker 1: like Pam, he said of the fired former attorney general.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I don't think there was anything malicious going on. I
- 10:48Speaker 1: think Pam was trying to respond to the political moment.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I think that she overstated what we had and what
- 10:55Speaker 1: we didn't have, and I think that she, you know,
- 10:57Speaker 1: got roasted for it publicly by a lot of people
- 11:00Speaker 1: voting me oh yeah. JD. Vance the hero and defender
- 11:04Speaker 1: of the Epstein truth. I wonder if Peter Thiel gave
- 11:06Speaker 1: him the okay to talk about Epstein. Vance described himself
- 11:11Speaker 1: as an og Epstein conspiracy theorist who has gone down
- 11:14Speaker 1: every single rabbit hole related to the well connected, disgraced financier.
- 11:18Speaker 1: He clearly had connections to the upper the highest levels
- 11:21Speaker 1: of American intelligence, Van said of Epstein. However, the Vice
- 11:26Speaker 1: President noted the government does not possess any documentation connecting
- 11:30Speaker 1: him to the US and foreign intelligence agencies, and he
- 11:33Speaker 1: suggests that if that evidence ever existed, it may have
- 11:36Speaker 1: been destroyed around the time of Epstein's two thousand and
- 11:38Speaker 1: eight criminal case in Florida. That's what we're doing here, jd.
- 11:42Speaker 1: That's why we're here. And if people would just stop
- 11:45Speaker 1: focusing on the bullshit and focus on the obvious cover up,
- 11:48Speaker 1: maybe we'd have some results. But hey, that doesn't get
- 11:52Speaker 1: the engagement, right, that doesn't drive the viewers. I've asked
- 11:56Speaker 1: where the documents connecting Epstein directly to our intelligence agencies
- 12:00Speaker 1: or anybody else, and the answer is no, Vance said,
- 12:03Speaker 1: but if that shit existed, it wouldn't exist. In twenty
- 12:05Speaker 1: twenty six, the White House did not immediately respond to
- 12:08Speaker 1: The Post's requests for comment. Yeah, it exists at Langley.
- 12:13Speaker 1: I told you that the FBI has the crumbs, but
- 12:15Speaker 1: the CIA they have the cake, and I think JD.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Vance is confirming that without confirming it. What he's doing
- 12:22Speaker 1: right here is telling us that Epstein was an intelligence construct,
- 12:27Speaker 1: and for once JD. Vance is actually telling the truth.
- 12:32Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
- 12:35Speaker 1: found in the description box.
