- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with her radio. It's time for another episode of the
- 0:07Speaker 1: Almost Famous podcast. In this episode, we're gonna be breaking
- 0:10Speaker 1: down both episodes of Paradise from this week. There is
- 0:16Speaker 1: a lot to break down, but the overarching storylines are
- 0:20Speaker 1: very consistent, so the details of whatever is happening maybe
- 0:24Speaker 1: aren't as interesting as just the emotion and the transformation
- 0:29Speaker 1: and the switch up as some may call it. Ashley
- 0:32Speaker 1: is here to help us break it down. Ashley, are
- 0:34Speaker 1: you ready? Oh? Hello, Yes, I am ready. Let's start
- 0:37Speaker 1: with the cocktail party. It is our second cocktail party
- 0:41Speaker 1: in road ceremony since the beginning of this thing. That
- 0:44Speaker 1: means we've gone seven episodes with only two. That's how
- 0:49Speaker 1: much longer this Bachelor in Paradise season is. So you
- 0:53Speaker 1: guys wanted you guys wanted more paradise, and you're getting
- 0:56Speaker 1: more paradise, more paradise. But we could see Ashley and
- 0:59Speaker 1: Jared say good by the second bye finally, guys still later.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Are you glad you did it? Ashley? Yes, We're so
- 1:07Speaker 1: glad we did it. I know that the fans didn't
- 1:09Speaker 1: love the fact that they had a married couple there.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Jared and I granted on that on an almost on
- 1:14Speaker 1: his podcast last week. If you guys want to hear
- 1:16Speaker 1: all our thoughts on that they tried something. They had
- 1:19Speaker 1: so much more time this season with sixteen episodes, they
- 1:22Speaker 1: tried something, and maybe it didn't go over according to plan,
- 1:25Speaker 1: but it's all good. We're so glad we did it.
- 1:27Speaker 1: It was so fantastic for our relationship. We will always
- 1:31Speaker 1: look back on those three days six days in total
- 1:35Speaker 1: in Mexico, but three days down apply as Candida so
- 1:38Speaker 1: fondly um and that date that we had will be
- 1:42Speaker 1: remembered forever. Really, it's truly one of our bachelor dates
- 1:46Speaker 1: and it is just as memorable as well, if not
- 1:49Speaker 1: the most memorable, of any bachelor date we've ever had.
- 1:52Speaker 1: That's beautiful. Well, in this cocktail party, seven women and
- 1:56Speaker 1: twelve men remain, which means five men will be leaving ride.
- 2:01Speaker 1: There's a couple people very much on the chopping block,
- 2:04Speaker 1: a couple of people very much thinking they're going home. Uh.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Some will be surprised, some won't, as we'll talk about.
- 2:11Speaker 1: But the first relationships is very interesting as James and
- 2:14Speaker 1: Nay obviously is in a little love triangle Ashley, what
- 2:18Speaker 1: do you think about it? Is in a love triangle
- 2:21Speaker 1: in which she's the most interesting part of it because
- 2:25Speaker 1: she's a character. She's fun to watch, But the guys
- 2:27Speaker 1: that she's into, they're not the greatest of g V.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I love James, he's so so sweet, but like, nobody's
- 2:34Speaker 1: super invested in the storyline because we know that she's
- 2:37Speaker 1: not marrying either of these guys. Simply put, there's no
- 2:40Speaker 1: great love story here. Sorry from repeating myself from last week,
- 2:43Speaker 1: but that's true. So so whatever, I don't care about
- 2:48Speaker 1: this one. I did a podcast this week with grocery
- 2:51Speaker 1: Store Joe and he was so hilarious because one question
- 2:54Speaker 1: about certain couples, he was like, honestly, I don't care,
- 2:58Speaker 1: And I guess that's to me with is it's no
- 3:00Speaker 1: offense to all three of them involved. I love them all,
- 3:03Speaker 1: but like just not super invested in what happens with them. Well,
- 3:08Speaker 1: there are other relationships blossoming. There are a couple of
- 3:11Speaker 1: people that think they're going home for sure. It's Justin
- 3:13Speaker 1: and Michael A are sitting talking about going home. They're
- 3:16Speaker 1: both convinced they're going home. Well for michael A though,
- 3:20Speaker 1: that's until Danielle shows up, which is a massive part
- 3:23Speaker 1: of this episode, is Danielle showing up to the beach,
- 3:27Speaker 1: as some would say conveniently. And I don't mind, actually
- 3:31Speaker 1: the convenience of this setup because it makes for a
- 3:35Speaker 1: beautiful story that we get to watch. The same thing
- 3:38Speaker 1: happened with Demi. She had her love interest come down
- 3:42Speaker 1: the stairs, and it was obviously a planned thing, maybe
- 3:49Speaker 1: not by Demi herself, but it was orchestrated right, and
- 3:54Speaker 1: the fans and the cast mostly the cast gets irritated
- 3:59Speaker 1: by it for under understandable reasons, but it does create
- 4:04Speaker 1: a great love story that I think is worthwhile in
- 4:08Speaker 1: the end. Is it unfair to certain people specifically like
- 4:12Speaker 1: maybe um Sira in this case, quite possibly, But the
- 4:17Speaker 1: thing is this, Michael A and Sierra were never going
- 4:20Speaker 1: to happen, So let's at least because he didn't feel
- 4:23Speaker 1: it all the way, So let's just at least celebrate
- 4:26Speaker 1: the fact that Michael seems submit with Danielle and this
- 4:31Speaker 1: is a relationship that he can actually see going somewhere.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Let's talk a little bit about how wells does say
- 4:37Speaker 1: it was a tabbit orchestrated Um, it didn't make the
- 4:40Speaker 1: cut but Wells did put it out there on the internet,
- 4:43Speaker 1: so I think that it's safe for us to talk
- 4:44Speaker 1: about a little more of the behind the scenes. He
- 4:47Speaker 1: said that he kind of walked Danielle down. I was like,
- 4:51Speaker 1: I have someone for you, and Michael was like, I
- 4:53Speaker 1: have someone for you. It is kind of like a
- 4:54Speaker 1: setup situation because Wells and Danielle have been friends for
- 4:58Speaker 1: so long, and of course Wells has been listening to
- 5:02Speaker 1: Michael for the past week or so in Paradise, so
- 5:06Speaker 1: he just thought, obviously this is this could be a
- 5:10Speaker 1: potential match. They both have similar histories when it comes
- 5:14Speaker 1: to losing a loved one um, and they have been
- 5:18Speaker 1: chatting on in on on Instagram. So I like the
- 5:23Speaker 1: fact that they were all very honest about the fact
- 5:27Speaker 1: that they had talked in the past, but that they
- 5:31Speaker 1: had never met before, and I think that's crucial. I
- 5:32Speaker 1: think it's totally fine if you're d m NG, especially
- 5:35Speaker 1: about what they were d m N about, But as
- 5:38Speaker 1: long as you haven't met in real life, I think
- 5:40Speaker 1: that that's fair game for going to Paradise and meeting there.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I think it's all for your game going to Paradise.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I think it's great that they talked. They're going to talk.
- 5:47Speaker 1: What are you gonna do? Not be friendly to people
- 5:49Speaker 1: just with the thought one day, maybe possibly that you
- 5:52Speaker 1: will find each other in paradise. It's that's a ridiculous thought.
- 5:55Speaker 1: So for them to talk, say they talked, that's all
- 5:57Speaker 1: I want. It's just to meet them, to be honest
- 5:59Speaker 1: about the fact that they did talk, and then we
- 6:01Speaker 1: can move on from there. Well. Actually, uh, the other
- 6:04Speaker 1: part of the roadsterim it took up a lot of time.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Uh was uh the and I don't want to sit
- 6:10Speaker 1: on it too long because I just think this guy
- 6:12Speaker 1: continues to come in and be disrespectful. But it's the
- 6:15Speaker 1: pizza dude. I don't even know his name is at
- 6:17Speaker 1: Peter um I Uh, you know, he's the guy stand
- 6:24Speaker 1: up to him. The women actually stood up to him too,
- 6:26Speaker 1: But he doesn't want to listen to the women. He
- 6:28Speaker 1: only want to listen to the dudes and then make
- 6:29Speaker 1: it feel like, you know, he was the one to
- 6:32Speaker 1: come up with the idea to leave Paradise. Um. Actually,
- 6:36Speaker 1: and about all we need to say about this is
- 6:38Speaker 1: he needed to go. Uh. But his words and the
- 6:42Speaker 1: things he said in interviews, um, and he he'll probably
- 6:46Speaker 1: blame it on editing, but it's really hard to edit
- 6:48Speaker 1: those interviews to do what. You know, he said what
- 6:50Speaker 1: he said. I will say, Uh, he said some terribly
- 6:54Speaker 1: disgusting things that really really hurt me, like, hey, if
- 6:59Speaker 1: they're ugly, don't even come around me or don't even
- 7:02Speaker 1: look at me. I think with something he said. He
- 7:03Speaker 1: also um was bad mouthing the women involved. I don't
- 7:09Speaker 1: like it. Honestly. It ruined a part of this episode
- 7:12Speaker 1: for me because the drama that existed from the switch
- 7:15Speaker 1: up was so much more fun and interesting for me
- 7:17Speaker 1: to watch than some dude just being a jack hole.
- 7:20Speaker 1: UM on the beach. Yeah, well he left in the
- 7:24Speaker 1: most embarrassing fashion ever, being look cute to palace or
- 7:27Speaker 1: wherever he's like. He plugged in his restaurant on the
- 7:30Speaker 1: way out, and everyone was cringing. They're on the beach
- 7:34Speaker 1: and at home. I hope, I hope the show never
- 7:36Speaker 1: uses him again. That's my hope. Um and uh, And
- 7:40Speaker 1: I'll say, I just I'm sure he's gonna go back home.
- 7:43Speaker 1: He's gonna find a way to make this all work.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I just I don't want to see him on this
- 7:47Speaker 1: show again because the stuff that he said, the things
- 7:49Speaker 1: that did his attitude towards other people are things that
- 7:52Speaker 1: are not only hurtful, um, but they're unhealthy, and they're
- 7:56Speaker 1: very unhealthy when you're locked in an environment with him
- 7:59Speaker 1: for so long. So um, not into it, not down
- 8:03Speaker 1: with it. Glad he's going home, That's what I'll say. Okay,
- 8:05Speaker 1: So into the rose ceremony is this, um. Genevieve gives
- 8:10Speaker 1: her rose to Aarin obviously, Serene gives her rose to
- 8:16Speaker 1: Brandon UM. Jill gives her rose to Jacob, Lace gives
- 8:21Speaker 1: her rose to Rodney uh, and then China with the
- 8:25Speaker 1: big switch up, gives her rose to Logan, which means
- 8:27Speaker 1: James is going home. Victoria gives her rose to Johnny.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Brittany gives her rose to Andrew. Danielle gives her rose
- 8:33Speaker 1: to Michael, which is very very sweet to see, as
- 8:36Speaker 1: all of them are sweet to see. So it's important
- 8:39Speaker 1: to note who gave their rose to who, because obviously
- 8:43Speaker 1: it's going to be now a storyline on what relationships exist. UM.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Moving forward, Casey goes home because he uh, he had
- 8:51Speaker 1: a really unfortunate accent that we talked about and the headlines,
- 8:54Speaker 1: which is where he really got hurt. Also James goes home,
- 8:58Speaker 1: Peter goes home, and the others Thatston, which I'm shocked.
- 9:03Speaker 1: If he told me that Justin is gonna get eliminated
- 9:06Speaker 1: the first row ceremony, that guys getting eliminated, I'd be
- 9:08Speaker 1: pretty shocked going into this season. Yeah, um, yeah, he
- 9:13Speaker 1: went on two dates or he's you know, he had
- 9:15Speaker 1: multiple interests and yeah, well Justin is. It's sad to
- 9:19Speaker 1: see him go for sure, he's a he's some funny
- 9:22Speaker 1: comic relief or at least he was when when there. Well,
- 9:25Speaker 1: the next morning, Michael and Danielle go on a date.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Danielle gets the date cards. She asked Michael to go
- 9:30Speaker 1: on this date. This date. It was a special date
- 9:33Speaker 1: because obviously do have very similar backstories. They both still
- 9:37Speaker 1: are processing um pains and wounds. Uh, but they're able
- 9:42Speaker 1: to do it together. Uh. In short, uh, I think
- 9:46Speaker 1: you have to watch the date to fully Ashley encompass
- 9:49Speaker 1: I feel it. But in short, I felt like this
- 9:52Speaker 1: date did show us that they there is something there
- 9:54Speaker 1: and it also the part I want to talk about
- 9:58Speaker 1: is even their willingness to eek about um, their past
- 10:01Speaker 1: relationships with each other and the healthiness that they both
- 10:05Speaker 1: gave in the space they gave each other to do that,
- 10:08Speaker 1: and then they were able to kiss afterwards, which shows me,
- 10:11Speaker 1: you know, when you obviously lose a loved one or
- 10:14Speaker 1: lose a spouse, you know, I have some friends that
- 10:16Speaker 1: have had that happen and they are able to then
- 10:19Speaker 1: move on and find somebody that where they the other
- 10:22Speaker 1: their their new spouse also celebrates the past relationship with them.
- 10:26Speaker 1: It's a really beautiful thing, and I feel like the
- 10:28Speaker 1: two of them together will be able to do that.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I agree. I really do feel a lot of um
- 10:34Speaker 1: potential here. I think it will be slow, and I
- 10:37Speaker 1: think they both wanted to move slow. Interesting tidbit that
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm not sure a lot of people caught, but they
- 10:44Speaker 1: actually kissed on that catamaran, and you can see it
- 10:47Speaker 1: in the recap of the episode beforehand at the top
- 10:51Speaker 1: of episode eight. So they definitely edited the episode to
- 10:55Speaker 1: make it seem like it was slower than it may
- 10:58Speaker 1: have been, especially when it and Michael saying like, when
- 11:02Speaker 1: I met my wife, I felt that instant, earth shattering
- 11:07Speaker 1: love at first sight. Almost feel He's like, I'm not
- 11:10Speaker 1: getting that with Danielle, and I love that he was
- 11:12Speaker 1: so honest about that, um, and then their conversation. It
- 11:17Speaker 1: was one of those amazing bachelor condos that, like it
- 11:20Speaker 1: took up a lot of screen time and you were
- 11:24Speaker 1: glued to every minute of it. Yeah, it was a powerful,
- 11:29Speaker 1: powerful scene. Uh, And I'm glad they're there together, and
- 11:32Speaker 1: I'm glad we get to watch it selfishly again, I'm
- 11:34Speaker 1: glad we get to watch it. Well, the next big
- 11:36Speaker 1: scene is there on their day is Jesse comes in
- 11:38Speaker 1: and announces a massive historic switch up in Paradise. And actually,
- 11:45Speaker 1: obviously most people know what to switch up is. I'll
- 11:47Speaker 1: quickly explain it. Um, the men are staying on the beach,
- 11:52Speaker 1: new women are coming in. The women that were there
- 11:55Speaker 1: are going to be leaving for a week. What we
- 11:57Speaker 1: find out later on is that they'll also be joined
- 12:01Speaker 1: by a new cast of men at their house. At first,
- 12:05Speaker 1: I was like, this is brutal, this is torturous, this
- 12:08Speaker 1: is unfair. And then as I kept watching it, I
- 12:11Speaker 1: felt like I was a big fan of this switch
- 12:14Speaker 1: up because I do think it tests relationships. I do
- 12:17Speaker 1: think it's showing us who was strong and who wasn't.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I don't hate it. I don't hate it either. Me neither.
- 12:23Speaker 1: If you guys are going to be together in the
- 12:27Speaker 1: quote real world, you're gonna be able to survive this.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And if you can't survive this, then you can't survive
- 12:32Speaker 1: the real world. It's simply put like that. It's brutal
- 12:35Speaker 1: because you really just want to enjoy paradise together with
- 12:39Speaker 1: like a little flirtation with like a little like hook
- 12:42Speaker 1: up buddy, do you know what I mean? Like you
- 12:43Speaker 1: want to like have that sense of a vacation fling,
- 12:46Speaker 1: and they're taking away the vacation fling. You can't just
- 12:51Speaker 1: enjoy paradise with somebody that you think is like fun
- 12:54Speaker 1: for now. It's forcing you to really be with If
- 12:57Speaker 1: you're going to be committed, this is gonna be oh commitment,
- 13:01Speaker 1: and you're gonna like just not be able, you know,
- 13:04Speaker 1: you just can't relax with them. Yeah. I don't hate it.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I think it adds an element. I think it intrigues
- 13:11Speaker 1: the viewer. Uh, and so not against it. But obviously
- 13:15Speaker 1: the girls are very upset that they're leaving, their freaking
- 13:18Speaker 1: out that their relationships are going to be ending. Um,
- 13:21Speaker 1: obviously they're sensing that things are changing. Uh. The guys
- 13:25Speaker 1: seem more confused and they are upset, like they just
- 13:28Speaker 1: feel like I don't know what the right move is now.
- 13:31Speaker 1: I kind of really I really enjoyed Logans uh quote
- 13:34Speaker 1: where he said I don't know what the right thing
- 13:37Speaker 1: to do is um or maybe it's could be interesting
- 13:40Speaker 1: to see what I do or Yeah, he was pretty
- 13:43Speaker 1: much being like, hey, I know I know what the
- 13:45Speaker 1: right thing to do is. I ain't gonna do it
- 13:47Speaker 1: like I'm gonna mess something along those lines. Like that
- 13:50Speaker 1: makes me like really enjoy you, Like I really like
- 13:53Speaker 1: that that can do that and be like, yeah, I
- 13:54Speaker 1: try to do the right thing. It's typically not the
- 13:56Speaker 1: way I go about it, though. That was the best
- 13:58Speaker 1: Logan moment ever. Yeah. Do you feel like it was
- 14:02Speaker 1: more traumatic for the girls because they actually were the
- 14:06Speaker 1: ones being plucked out of paradise. Well, I think at
- 14:08Speaker 1: that moment too, is they didn't know that they were
- 14:12Speaker 1: getting guys, that they were getting guys, and so they
- 14:14Speaker 1: felt like, oh, you would send us away, you would
- 14:17Speaker 1: give the guys all these opportunities. You're gonna make us
- 14:19Speaker 1: sit and hang out with each other wherever we're going,
- 14:22Speaker 1: and it feels and I also think a lot of
- 14:24Speaker 1: these girls were very connected to these guys. So yes,
- 14:28Speaker 1: I do feel like that, and I also just think, um,
- 14:32Speaker 1: I think staying in your familiar environment helps. I think
- 14:36Speaker 1: the guys being on the beach, they don't have to
- 14:38Speaker 1: pack up and leave. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 14:41Speaker 1: so I think being familiar with where you're already at
- 14:43Speaker 1: probably helps. But the girls are really upset, especially Jill,
- 14:47Speaker 1: your friend Jill and Genevieve. Lace also was a wreck.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Some of the relationships didn't feel like they were going
- 14:54Speaker 1: to be affected. Victoria felt pretty strong. Uh. Serene obviously
- 14:58Speaker 1: was like I don't like this, this is is that
- 15:00Speaker 1: fun for me? I'm gonna miss Brandon, but like, I know,
- 15:03Speaker 1: he ain't doing nothing wrong one thousand percent. The girls
- 15:06Speaker 1: did look fresher there, though. Do you did you notice that,
- 15:10Speaker 1: like that night they're sitting around the couch and you're like, uh,
- 15:13Speaker 1: somebody got a good shower and air conditioning and everybody's
- 15:17Speaker 1: hair looks lovely because you can actually do it there. I, um,
- 15:22Speaker 1: I do have like one issue with this, and I
- 15:26Speaker 1: just realized why. It felt sort of icky to me.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I didn't like the way that the girls were presented
- 15:32Speaker 1: and then the guys were presented as if they were
- 15:34Speaker 1: like kind of like pieces of meat, being like and
- 15:37Speaker 1: here's your new selection. Because we didn't get introduced to them,
- 15:42Speaker 1: we didn't get their names or anything like that. It
- 15:44Speaker 1: was just like herection. I agree that that is a
- 15:48Speaker 1: weird Alex, Tyler, Adam, and Rick show up to the
- 16:05Speaker 1: girl's sweet. Obviously, Adam is from a season in Australia,
- 16:11Speaker 1: so nobody knows anything about him other than he just
- 16:13Speaker 1: has long hair and he's a good accent. As the
- 16:15Speaker 1: girls say, it feels like from this list to listen,
- 16:19Speaker 1: at least initially, the girl's interests really leans towards Tyler
- 16:22Speaker 1: and alex Um, especially Tyler, which makes sense because Tyler
- 16:28Speaker 1: ends up going on a date with SHENEI uh, pretty
- 16:32Speaker 1: shocking to me how good this date went, Ashley. It
- 16:36Speaker 1: felt like like, I mean, Jane was trying to get down,
- 16:41Speaker 1: like she was like, this is such a good first date,
- 16:43Speaker 1: Like I'm trying, I'm trying to boom boom. But he
- 16:45Speaker 1: had made out with Brittany the night before, and as
- 16:48Speaker 1: an audience seeing both of them, I felt like he
- 16:52Speaker 1: was more into Brittany. Well I think he was again,
- 16:55Speaker 1: but like that's a couple of hours it's paradise. He's
- 16:58Speaker 1: probably like, whatever, let's go with it. Um, who knows
- 17:01Speaker 1: like where his mind's at now. We're gonna probably find
- 17:04Speaker 1: out very quickly, which will probably cause all sorts of
- 17:07Speaker 1: you know, conversations. But how how interesting would it be
- 17:12Speaker 1: for these ladies to show back up to the beach
- 17:14Speaker 1: wondering if their relationship stands with the guys that were there,
- 17:18Speaker 1: and Shane for examples like yeah, sorry, Logan, I've already
- 17:22Speaker 1: dated two other guys, like or I guess you're like,
- 17:27Speaker 1: I'm dating a guy that's now dating somebody else and
- 17:30Speaker 1: now I'm single again, so like, I'm back interested in you,
- 17:32Speaker 1: But let me tell you the bad story of why
- 17:34Speaker 1: I'm even interested in you? That would be That feels
- 17:37Speaker 1: like a lot to happen in a week. It does well.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Logan also goes on a date. So Logan goes on
- 17:42Speaker 1: the date with Yeah, his hurt Sarah. It's Sarah, Okay,
- 17:47Speaker 1: that's Sarah from from a Clayton season. Wow, it feels
- 17:52Speaker 1: like it's been a lot longer than Clinton season since
- 17:55Speaker 1: we saw Sarah. But and I like I like both.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I like Sarah and Logan together. Um, so I'm happy
- 18:03Speaker 1: it does well. The interesting one here is Brittany, because
- 18:07Speaker 1: obviously Andrew is on the beach going, hey, I'm still
- 18:10Speaker 1: interested in Brittany. Uh. You know you and I are
- 18:13Speaker 1: big fans of Brittany. We don't know how she wasn't
- 18:15Speaker 1: like pursued so heavily since the beginning of Paradise. Uh
- 18:19Speaker 1: and so, but he's like, I'm still interested in Brittany.
- 18:22Speaker 1: We don't know where his relationship with Sinda is gonna
- 18:25Speaker 1: go yet. Brittany does seem interest in Tyler actually kind
- 18:28Speaker 1: of hurt and offended that Jane took Tyler on this date. Um.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I want to pause here though, with all this now
- 18:35Speaker 1: wrapping up where Tyler and Shane did go on this date.
- 18:38Speaker 1: How great of a scene is at the sie Jill
- 18:41Speaker 1: just completely block Ene and come in without like reading
- 18:45Speaker 1: the room and being like, yeah, I'm just gonna kick
- 18:47Speaker 1: it with you guys, even though you know it's obvious
- 18:50Speaker 1: I'm not wanted to hear. It was just so awkward,
- 18:54Speaker 1: classic awkward. Yeah. I can't believe that Gene was actually
- 18:58Speaker 1: setting up a boom room room for them after one day.
- 19:02Speaker 1: One day, I feel like that if I was tired,
- 19:06Speaker 1: it was yoga yeah, it was. It was like it
- 19:10Speaker 1: got him all fired up. Every crack was uh was
- 19:14Speaker 1: wet as according to what she said, because she was
- 19:16Speaker 1: sweating so bad. Um, so she was fired up. She's
- 19:20Speaker 1: ready for this. We don't know if Tyler was or not.
- 19:24Speaker 1: But there are some other relationships going on outside and Tyler,
- 19:27Speaker 1: so who knows where that goes. We're going to have
- 19:28Speaker 1: to watch the sea. We mentioned Sarah and Logan, now, um,
- 19:32Speaker 1: Kate and Jacob, that's the other one. It feels solidified,
- 19:38Speaker 1: it does, but it feels like a Bachelor Paradise hook
- 19:40Speaker 1: up a couple to me, Like, I don't I don't
- 19:43Speaker 1: see this going on very long. Well, of course, when
- 19:45Speaker 1: I mean solidified, I mean it's like she's one over
- 19:48Speaker 1: Jill now, because he basically says, um, I don't wake
- 19:53Speaker 1: up in the morning thinking of Jill, but I woke
- 19:56Speaker 1: up this morning thinking of you, And that is a
- 19:58Speaker 1: jagger to any woman's heart because we all know that
- 20:01Speaker 1: thinking about somebody in the morning is such a big deal,
- 20:05Speaker 1: you know. So yeah, I know, I know. But the
- 20:08Speaker 1: relationship that's that's not quietly sneaking up on me. Maybe
- 20:12Speaker 1: my favorite relationship right now is Rodney and Eliza. I
- 20:14Speaker 1: mean I feel bad for Lace. Obviously, I was protective
- 20:17Speaker 1: of her because just I know Lace. But I do
- 20:20Speaker 1: feel like Rodney and Eliza like have something very special
- 20:24Speaker 1: and they're a beautiful couple. Their chemistry is very dynamic. Um.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I don't feel like they're just a paradise hookup. I'll
- 20:34Speaker 1: be shocked if they break up by the end of this. Um.
- 20:37Speaker 1: So I'm really happy for them. I am sad for Lace.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I'm very sad for Jill too. Uh. It's gonna be
- 20:43Speaker 1: a really hard you know, the people that were most
- 20:46Speaker 1: upset leaving the beach are going to be by the
- 20:48Speaker 1: people that are upset coming back to the beach. What
- 20:51Speaker 1: about Genevieve though, because Jenevieve, we we see her crying
- 20:55Speaker 1: a lot, but we don't see anything with Aaron. Aaron
- 20:58Speaker 1: is not talking to anyone over there. Yeah she might, Okay,
- 21:01Speaker 1: yeah she'll She'll probably be good. She'll be good. So
- 21:04Speaker 1: it's Lace, and it's really um, Lace and Jill, They're
- 21:08Speaker 1: going to be just a wreck coming back to the
- 21:11Speaker 1: beach because I think both those relationships have moved on,
- 21:15Speaker 1: both their men have moved on. So earlier, you were
- 21:18Speaker 1: saying that the guys seem to be having um like
- 21:22Speaker 1: just more fun being separated from the girls. And I
- 21:24Speaker 1: feel like this is just a trend in all of
- 21:26Speaker 1: life when girls and guys start dating, even if they're
- 21:30Speaker 1: both really into each other, A gros night sounds so
- 21:34Speaker 1: awesome to the guy, like he'll choose hanging out with
- 21:37Speaker 1: his friends over the girl like a night or two
- 21:39Speaker 1: a week, and the girl is usually maybe I'm stereotyping,
- 21:43Speaker 1: maybe I'm just talking about my own friends circle, but
- 21:45Speaker 1: the girl will be like, why does he want to
- 21:48Speaker 1: hang out with his friends. He should want to hang
- 21:50Speaker 1: out with me over anyone, And I think it's just
- 21:52Speaker 1: so what's playing out in front of us. The girls
- 21:55Speaker 1: are like, no, I don't want to like hang out
- 21:58Speaker 1: with you. Guys are great, but I don't want to
- 21:59Speaker 1: hang out with you. And the guys are like, oh,
- 22:01Speaker 1: my girl's gone for a couple of times. Let's just
- 22:02Speaker 1: brow out. Yeah, And it feels like they are growing out,
- 22:05Speaker 1: Like they're sitting are on the beach around the little
- 22:07Speaker 1: table kind of just like having drinks and kicking it
- 22:09Speaker 1: and probably talking about fantasy football. Oh they are, yeah,
- 22:13Speaker 1: a percent they are, And so it is You're not
- 22:16Speaker 1: wrong and I do feel like the guys are having
- 22:18Speaker 1: an easier time with this, except Aaron does mentioned to
- 22:21Speaker 1: Danielle at some point you're in the episode that he
- 22:23Speaker 1: does miss Genevieve. I think there's that miss for them
- 22:27Speaker 1: going on. But just the comparison, it's just not there. No,
- 22:32Speaker 1: definitely not well. The episode closes like this Ashley Uh
- 22:36Speaker 1: Rodney analizer on their beautiful date together. H. There's obvious chemistry.
- 22:41Speaker 1: As we were mentioning, it feels like there's a connection.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Um that's gonna last. Lace is so upset um that
- 22:47Speaker 1: again she conveniently shows up to the beach while they're
- 22:51Speaker 1: on their date. Uh. And um, Lace is not okay. Uh,
- 22:57Speaker 1: she's not. And the guys, it feels like, are not
- 23:00Speaker 1: uh communicating with her in a way that she wants.
- 23:02Speaker 1: It feels like she's very closed off, very her, very confused. Uh.
- 23:08Speaker 1: There's a scene where we see it in her eyes
- 23:09Speaker 1: and she's kind of looking around like I don't belong
- 23:12Speaker 1: here and I no longer feel welcomed here. Uh. And
- 23:15Speaker 1: it's hard for me to watch. I think it's hard
- 23:17Speaker 1: for the women to watch. Is just Sinya said, because
- 23:20Speaker 1: it's just painful. Um, and but we don't get to
- 23:24Speaker 1: see how the Rodney conversation goes. We have I mean,
- 23:28Speaker 1: we know what's gonna happen, and it's gonna be bad.
- 23:30Speaker 1: We all know it's bad and just taking short and sweet,
- 23:33Speaker 1: like I hope it's Rodney telling her, Hey, I'm I'm
- 23:36Speaker 1: not sorry, but like Eliza came, we have a connection,
- 23:40Speaker 1: I'm moving on and at last can just get out
- 23:42Speaker 1: of there because I just feel like dragging this along
- 23:43Speaker 1: for too long is going to be really painful. Yeah.
- 23:47Speaker 1: You can just see her heartbreaking in front of our eyes,
- 23:49Speaker 1: which is just always just one of those moments just
- 23:52Speaker 1: like so so sorry, so sad to watch. But she, um,
- 23:56Speaker 1: she just needs to rub that band aid off. And
- 23:58Speaker 1: I understand why she just needed to go down and
- 24:00Speaker 1: be like, listen, let me see if it's happening. If
- 24:02Speaker 1: it's happening, that I'm getting out of here, you know
- 24:04Speaker 1: what I mean. Yeah, I hope that was her mindset
- 24:07Speaker 1: kind of going into that beach was like I have
- 24:10Speaker 1: I have this gut feeling that something bad is happening. Uh,
- 24:15Speaker 1: and uh, I'm going to show up to the beach,
- 24:18Speaker 1: but if anything is going on, then I'm out, Like
- 24:21Speaker 1: I'm bouncing as fast as possible. Uh. I have a
- 24:24Speaker 1: feeling though, because she doesn't. This is my kind of
- 24:26Speaker 1: theory is she didn't pack a bag so that she'll
- 24:30Speaker 1: actually go back to the mansion, to the house, and
- 24:34Speaker 1: the girls will see her like super upset and sad,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and all the other girls are gonna freak out a
- 24:39Speaker 1: little bit more. You know what's going to happen. She's
- 24:42Speaker 1: gonna go back, she's gonna say I'm leaving, and then
- 24:45Speaker 1: she's definitely going to be like, this is what's happening.
- 24:47Speaker 1: He's coupled up with her. He's coupled with her, and
- 24:49Speaker 1: so then like Jill is going to start freaking out
- 24:52Speaker 1: and all these other things, and they're just gonna be
- 24:55Speaker 1: locked locked in the cabin. The cabin on the way
- 24:59Speaker 1: I called it because it's like the they're locked in
- 25:01Speaker 1: the tower, you know what I mean, massive, massive, beautiful mansion. Yeah,
- 25:05Speaker 1: and they're just going to freak out more and have
- 25:09Speaker 1: that anxiety rithing through their body until they actually get
- 25:13Speaker 1: to go down there. Yeah. Well, it's going to be
- 25:15Speaker 1: an interesting couple next weeks of Paradise. I'm excited to
- 25:18Speaker 1: watch it. I want to see how this plays out.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I want to see what relationships make it through and
- 25:23Speaker 1: what relationships don't really quick. Do you think there's gonna
- 25:27Speaker 1: be any more entrances or do you think that once
- 25:30Speaker 1: everybody is back together, it's just gonna be that's the
- 25:34Speaker 1: cast and they have to shut out their crap. At
- 25:36Speaker 1: this point, I would be shocked if there's any more entrances.
- 25:39Speaker 1: We're getting so far into this season. Now, there's so
- 25:41Speaker 1: many people, there's so many relationships that have formed and
- 25:43Speaker 1: broken up. I do think there's gonna be some type
- 25:46Speaker 1: of way that even the people who are new that
- 25:49Speaker 1: aren't coupled up. Um was, somebody will end up kind
- 25:53Speaker 1: of staying. I don't know how that's gonna work, but
- 25:55Speaker 1: I think some of them might stay just based on
- 25:58Speaker 1: who's there and who's not. I mean, and then obviously
- 26:00Speaker 1: have the Roses this week, so we'll see some guys
- 26:03Speaker 1: going home. I don't know, though, Ash, I don't know
- 26:06Speaker 1: how this is going to play out now once they
- 26:08Speaker 1: all come together. I would like to see them all
- 26:10Speaker 1: come together because I kind of feel bad for a
- 26:12Speaker 1: Loo and Rick and Adam. Um. The Rick thing was
- 26:16Speaker 1: like demoralizing. I didn't even realize Rick was there until
- 26:18Speaker 1: he was like looking at their girls in the pool,
- 26:21Speaker 1: and I was like, ah, this is awkwardness at its finest.
- 26:24Speaker 1: His game was pretty terrible, though. He was like waking
- 26:26Speaker 1: up a girl from a nappy and like, hey, Genevieve,
- 26:28Speaker 1: wake up. No sleeping here, and it's like, Hey, I'm
- 26:31Speaker 1: I'm not the smartest dude in the world. I don't
- 26:34Speaker 1: have the most most game in the world, but I
- 26:36Speaker 1: know if my wife is sleeping, do not wake her up.
- 26:41Speaker 1: And we're gonna give massages. Yeah, it's it's just weird.
- 26:45Speaker 1: They're trying. Hey, give him, give him a break. They're trying,
- 26:48Speaker 1: but it's weird to watch. Hey, let's take a break here.
- 26:50Speaker 1: We have headlines to get to. Uh some good headlines,
- 26:53Speaker 1: by the way, so let's jump over those right now.
- 27:05Speaker 1: It's time for Bachelor Nation headlines. The first one is
- 27:08Speaker 1: one that shocked me. It's also when I was interested
- 27:10Speaker 1: in Casey Wood says he hasn't walked in over four
- 27:13Speaker 1: months after Bachelor in Paradise injury. Wait, this is so
- 27:18Speaker 1: shocking because it didn't look that bad when it was airing,
- 27:21Speaker 1: But in last night's episode or this week's episode, you
- 27:24Speaker 1: saw him faint and the faint resulted in him injuring
- 27:28Speaker 1: his ankle. Well, it actually was three broken bones, and
- 27:32Speaker 1: then he had three operations and four months later. He's
- 27:36Speaker 1: one sad guy, he says, because he hasn't been able
- 27:39Speaker 1: to walk in four months since that fall. Insane, I
- 27:45Speaker 1: mean insane, I wondered. I honestly, actually my my like
- 27:50Speaker 1: very evil side. I mean, it was like he's faking
- 27:52Speaker 1: it just to get out of this situation. Now I'm like,
- 27:54Speaker 1: oh no again, I'm wrong. It's like he didn't want
- 27:58Speaker 1: to get eliminated or something, and he just like I did.
- 28:00Speaker 1: But that was absolutely not the case. But guys, it's
- 28:04Speaker 1: weird because he was way more concerned of his head
- 28:06Speaker 1: and why he fainted, and then five minutes later he's like,
- 28:09Speaker 1: oh ouch my ankle. Unbelievable. Well, her next headline is
- 28:15Speaker 1: this era feels disrespected watching Michael A and Danielle on
- 28:19Speaker 1: Bachelor in Paradise, as Bachelor Nation weighs in on convenient storyline. Actually,
- 28:24Speaker 1: some of this is based off a Wells' tweet that
- 28:27Speaker 1: he said he helped set these two up. Um you know,
- 28:31Speaker 1: said to Danielle before she even walked down, Hey go
- 28:33Speaker 1: find Michael. But Sierra, She's feeling disrespected. Why so what happened,
- 28:40Speaker 1: as Benda's reference is that like there was more of
- 28:43Speaker 1: a setup than the actual edit shows. And then Sierra said,
- 28:49Speaker 1: I feel highly disrespected. I'm gonna go meditate hashtag Bachelor
- 28:54Speaker 1: in Paradise. Um. This is what she tweeted during the episode,
- 28:58Speaker 1: referring to Daniel's arrival hashtag convenient. And Sierra went out
- 29:03Speaker 1: to call out Michael, revealing that he and Danielle had
- 29:06Speaker 1: spoken before. Um, she's you know, a little bit of
- 29:10Speaker 1: history with and then she put the little emoji of
- 29:13Speaker 1: like her being like, uh like, oh really I didn't
- 29:16Speaker 1: know that. So yeah, I mean I understand where she's
- 29:20Speaker 1: coming from. But yeah, totally. But they didn't know Hi
- 29:23Speaker 1: that they spoke either. They shared that. Um, but I
- 29:27Speaker 1: get it. Feelings are hurt. Well, here's a happy story.
- 29:30Speaker 1: The Bachelor's Leslie Murphy, Mary's Alex in Hawaii. Oh. Their
- 29:34Speaker 1: Instagram content from this wedding was so fantastic. It was
- 29:38Speaker 1: a beautiful wedding. Um. It was in Maui on October.
- 29:43Speaker 1: She showed so many instagram's talking about like her glad
- 29:47Speaker 1: prep and setting up for the seaside celebration. You guys
- 29:51Speaker 1: have to go check them out. She's a travel bloggers.
- 29:53Speaker 1: She does these moments really well. Uh. And then they
- 29:58Speaker 1: also had a first look and and that's documented on
- 30:01Speaker 1: the instagram too, So good stuff out there. Go check
- 30:04Speaker 1: out Leslie's instagram and congratulations of course, and congratulations to
- 30:09Speaker 1: Leslie and Alex Well. This headline doesn't need a lot
- 30:12Speaker 1: of explanation, but it's one we've win waiting for. The
- 30:15Speaker 1: Bachelor's Peter Webber confirms he and Kelly Flannagan are back
- 30:19Speaker 1: together with sweet pick. Uh. This was crazy and I
- 30:24Speaker 1: love it so much. Like I've said on this podcast before,
- 30:27Speaker 1: they must have some crazy passion to get over all
- 30:32Speaker 1: the the words have been back and forth between the
- 30:35Speaker 1: two of them in public over the past year or
- 30:37Speaker 1: so since they split. Um, but I heard from an
- 30:39Speaker 1: inside source that he was just begging to get her
- 30:43Speaker 1: back for the longest time, in treating her like an
- 30:45Speaker 1: absolute princess to prove that it was that she that
- 30:50Speaker 1: he was worthy of being taken back. So anyway, they
- 30:52Speaker 1: posted on Instagram of Peter holding up Kelly at Yankee Stadium,
- 30:57Speaker 1: which is pretty cool in itself. Um, and the caption
- 31:01Speaker 1: read home run uh and then Clay harbor Row underneath
- 31:06Speaker 1: does this game ever end? That's awesome. There's some good
- 31:11Speaker 1: funny comments underneath from Bachelor Nation and you know, besides
- 31:14Speaker 1: Clay's you guys, if you haven't seen this picture, go
- 31:17Speaker 1: look at It's so cute. Last headline of the day,
- 31:19Speaker 1: Vanessa Grimaldi shares a glimpse of postpartum body an adult diaper.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Quote is my favorite outfit I've ever worn. While she's
- 31:28Speaker 1: showing off her postpartum look, she goes greasy hair, adult diapers,
- 31:32Speaker 1: chapped lips, a glowing smile, love in my eyes, a
- 31:35Speaker 1: beating heart, and a body that gave me the most
- 31:38Speaker 1: beautiful gift, my baby boy. She said, I've never been
- 31:42Speaker 1: more grateful and more proud or more confident in my skin.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Thank you body for all that you can do and
- 31:49Speaker 1: continue to do for I know you know to do it.
- 31:53Speaker 1: It's pretty cool. It is pretty awesome to see what
- 31:56Speaker 1: your body can do. It's just when you look at
- 31:59Speaker 1: your baby and your like you I made you in there?
- 32:02Speaker 1: How is that possible? So I totally get what she's saying. Yeah,
- 32:05Speaker 1: it's pretty awesome. Post by Vanessa, and congratulations once again
- 32:09Speaker 1: to her well, that's all the headlines we have for
- 32:10Speaker 1: you today. With that I've Been Been, I've Been Ashley
