- 0:27Speaker 2: One day, a young man, confused and directionless in life,
- 0:32Speaker 2: was walking in a park. He sees a well dressed
- 0:35Speaker 2: and well to do old man sitting on a bench,
- 0:38Speaker 2: feeding the birds and enjoying the scenery. He walks up
- 0:42Speaker 2: to him and says, sir, you seem to have done
- 0:45Speaker 2: well for yourself in life. Do you mind telling me
- 0:49Speaker 2: how you did it? The old man says, sure, have
- 0:53Speaker 2: a seat, son, I remember I was just about your age,
- 0:58Speaker 2: without a dollar to my name. Well, one day I
- 1:02Speaker 2: was walking at a park just like this, and I
- 1:05Speaker 2: found a nickel on the ground. I grabbed that nickel
- 1:10Speaker 2: and with it I bought an apple. I sat down
- 1:13Speaker 2: and polished that apple for the whole day. The next
- 1:17Speaker 2: day I sold it for a dime. The next day
- 1:22Speaker 2: I bought two apples. I polished those apples the entire day,
- 1:28Speaker 2: even harder than the day before. The next day I
- 1:33Speaker 2: sold them for a dime each. The day after that
- 1:37Speaker 2: I bought three apples and I polished those three apples
- 1:41Speaker 2: for the entire day. The next day, my uncle died
- 1:46Speaker 2: and left me a million dollars. Do you have any
- 2:00Speaker 2: self limiting ideas? These are ideas in your head telling
- 2:05Speaker 2: you that you cannot do something or that you are
- 2:08Speaker 2: not enough. The bad thing here is that too many times,
- 2:13Speaker 2: if we believe these thoughts and take them to heart,
- 2:16Speaker 2: they become true. We will talk about this in this
- 2:20Speaker 2: week's episode of Positively three sixty five, but first we
- 2:24Speaker 2: have our trivia question of the day. Are you ready
- 2:27Speaker 2: for it?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Here?
- 2:28Speaker 2: It is what guitarists notably performed in Michael Jackson's song
- 2:35Speaker 2: beat It. We will have the answer when we come back.

- 4:36Speaker 2: Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question?
- 4:40Speaker 2: The question was what guitarist notably performed in Michael Jackson's
- 4:46Speaker 2: song beat It. The answer Eddie Van Halen. Now you
- 4:53Speaker 2: know not listening to self limiting beliefs is essential for
- 5:06Speaker 2: unlocking your full potential and achieving personal growth. These beliefs
- 5:12Speaker 2: often stem from past experiences, fears, or societal expectations that
- 5:18Speaker 2: suggest you are incapable or unworthy. By challenging and rejecting
- 5:24Speaker 2: these limiting thoughts, you open yourself to a new possibility
- 5:28Speaker 2: and opportunity. Embracing a mindset of self empowerment and resilience
- 5:34Speaker 2: allows you to pursue your goals with confidence, break through barriers,
- 5:39Speaker 2: and redefine what is possible for yourself or others. Ultimately,
- 5:45Speaker 2: refusing to be confined by self limiting beliefs helps you
- 5:49Speaker 2: to grow, to succeed, and to live a more fulfilling life.
- 6:01Speaker 2: The offices at NASA have a poster hanging on it
- 6:06Speaker 2: the walls with pictures of bees that reads, Aerodynamically, a
- 6:12Speaker 2: bee's body is not made to fly. The good thing
- 6:17Speaker 2: is that the bee doesn't know it. The law of
- 6:21Speaker 2: physics says that a bee cannot fly. The aerodynamic principle
- 6:25Speaker 2: says that the breadth of its wings is too small
- 6:29Speaker 2: to keep its huge body in flight. But a bee
- 6:33Speaker 2: doesn't know. It doesn't know anything about physics or its logic,
- 6:39Speaker 2: and it flies anyway. This is what we all can do,
- 6:44Speaker 2: fly and prevail in every moment, in the face of
- 6:48Speaker 2: any difficulty and in any circumstance, despite what the others
- 6:55Speaker 2: may say. And so let us be bees. No matter
- 6:59Speaker 2: the size of our wings, we can take flight and
- 7:03Speaker 2: enjoy the fallen of life.
