- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becka Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hello everybody, We are scrubbing.
- 0:14Speaker 1: In Happy Monday, July twenty seventh for everybody listening. Shot
- 0:19Speaker 1: out of a Cannon today.
- 0:20Speaker 2: She is in a timestamp mood. Yes, she's focused on
- 0:24Speaker 2: time stamps today.
- 0:25Speaker 3: So I'm focused on improving our podcast with time stamps.
- 0:29Speaker 1: With time stamps, I think it's gonna help, you know, one,
- 0:32Speaker 1: one little improvement at a time.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Not full video episodes, but timestamps.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Well, don't get me started out. Don't get me started
- 0:39Speaker 3: on that.
- 0:40Speaker 1: I've been fighting that good fight for years and I
- 0:42Speaker 1: have to pick and choose my battles. This is something
- 0:44Speaker 1: I feel like I can take on my own and
- 0:46Speaker 1: it's just a small sliver of improvement.
- 0:48Speaker 2: That I think you love.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Is a consumer of podcast?
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, So you're shot out of the canon.
- 0:54Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 0:56Speaker 1: Shot out of a cannon means like I'm full four
- 1:00Speaker 1: let's go bring it on type of thing.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Oh, I have to bleep that, John.
- 1:07Speaker 2: What prompted that energy?
- 1:09Speaker 3: Well, I'll tell you Becca.
- 1:11Speaker 1: So actually I got a lot of really sweet dms
- 1:15Speaker 1: from last week's podcast that I want to say thank
- 1:17Speaker 1: you to our listeners because it is really really sweet
- 1:23Speaker 1: that people care that much and it means a lot
- 1:26Speaker 1: to me. I don't want to cry, so I'm not
- 1:27Speaker 1: going to cry.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Also, I want to say that so many people resonate
- 1:32Speaker 2: and relate, whether they're on the journey right now or
- 1:35Speaker 2: have you experience the journey.
- 1:37Speaker 1: So and a lot of people were dming me like
- 1:39Speaker 1: why do you not talk about your fertility journey on
- 1:41Speaker 1: the podcast? And I there's several reasons, the main one
- 1:46Speaker 1: being that we decided BECA and I. You and I
- 1:49Speaker 1: decided years ago that we wanted the podcast to be
- 1:53Speaker 1: a place of joy, levity, light. We didn't want to
- 1:57Speaker 1: bring seriousness into it.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Remember this, Yeah, but not so much about our personal lives.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I don't think that. I don't feel aligned on that.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Oh really, yeah, I don't really feel aligned on that
- 2:08Speaker 2: that part of it.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Because here's the thing.
- 2:10Speaker 1: If I come in here every week and I'm sitting
- 2:12Speaker 1: here and I cry every week because I'm actually sharing
- 2:16Speaker 1: what I'm going through.
- 2:17Speaker 3: It's so sad.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It's like sad, I'm crying every week. It's not a
- 2:21Speaker 1: like light place. It's not a happy place, but it's
- 2:24Speaker 1: triggering for people that it.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Can be triggering for people, and we can when we
- 2:29Speaker 2: talk about it, put you know, a trigger warning. But
- 2:31Speaker 2: I also think it's your life and what you're going through,
- 2:34Speaker 2: like it's the biggest thing in your life right now.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Really Yeah.
- 2:38Speaker 1: And also two tiered tiered step two huh is coming
- 2:44Speaker 1: to work gives me like an escape. It's like the
- 2:45Speaker 1: only time in my day where I'm like not constantly
- 2:48Speaker 1: thinking about it. Okay, So it's like that that three.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I feel like it's triggering for people because it's all
- 2:58Speaker 1: I see. It's like my whole algorith them like I'm
- 3:01Speaker 1: it's just it's so consuming. So it's like again, this
- 3:04Speaker 1: is a podcast where we go for like levity and
- 3:06Speaker 1: lighthearted and like fun.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 1: And the final thing is I'm just up to my
- 3:12Speaker 1: ears with advice, like I can't have any more in
- 3:15Speaker 1: my ear, you know. I'm coming home every day with
- 3:17Speaker 1: like a different coworker that saying, have you tried musin X.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It helps like your mucus and your vagina thicken or whatever,
- 3:24Speaker 1: you know. And then I'm coming home and telling Robbie
- 3:26Speaker 1: I want to try musinx and he's like babe, like.
- 3:28Speaker 2: You do really ingest advice as opposed to thank you.
- 3:33Speaker 2: But I'm I'm good, I'm on my own journey with this.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I yes, I ingest, and I also too don't want
- 3:37Speaker 1: to like people are always ask me questions and I'm like,
- 3:41Speaker 1: I don't not a doctor, So the last thing that
- 3:43Speaker 1: I want to do is like share what I'm doing,
- 3:45Speaker 1: because I'm just throwing spaghetti at the wall at this point,
- 3:51Speaker 1: just seeing what sticks, no pun intended.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I think that you're I don't really think you have
- 3:59Speaker 2: to ex blame yourself on why you don't want to
- 4:01Speaker 2: talk about it, but I do think it's totally up
- 4:05Speaker 2: to you how much you want to talk about my
- 4:06Speaker 2: whole thing. Well, I do want this podcast to be
- 4:10Speaker 2: a safe place, but this I mean a happy place
- 4:12Speaker 2: and like light. But I also like we are living
- 4:15Speaker 2: life and going through things, and we've always shared, Like
- 4:17Speaker 2: even through your dating experience, you shared when you were down.
- 4:20Speaker 2: You know, there's been times where we've shared things that
- 4:23Speaker 2: aren't exactly happy, go lucky, and that's okay. So I
- 4:28Speaker 2: never want you to feel that you don't have space
- 4:30Speaker 2: to talk about it on here because of like me.
- 4:32Speaker 1: No, no, no, and not you at all, but I
- 4:35Speaker 1: do we specifically. I remember vividly having these conversations with
- 4:39Speaker 1: you years ago about planemic, and.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It was like it was about the state of the world,
- 4:43Speaker 2: which can be very heavy, yes.
- 4:45Speaker 1: But we were very much like aligned in the sense
- 4:47Speaker 1: of like, we don't want heaviness, we don't want any
- 4:51Speaker 1: of that. We just want this to be like joy, light, lighthearted.
- 4:56Speaker 2: But I don't think it was relating to I don't
- 4:57Speaker 2: think I took on that agreement with it being about lives.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I honestly never experienced anything like this in my life,
- 5:04Speaker 1: so this is the first time for.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Me, I know. But I'm just saying, share as much
- 5:08Speaker 2: or as little as you want. And there's gonna be
- 5:11Speaker 2: people who are triggered by it because it's traumatizing, or
- 5:15Speaker 2: they're going through it and they don't want to see anymore.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Or there's gonna be people who are like, it's so
- 5:18Speaker 2: nice to hear someone talking about it and going through
- 5:21Speaker 2: this because it makes me feel like I'm not alone.
- 5:22Speaker 2: And you're always gonna have different versions of what people
- 5:25Speaker 2: are going through and how they resonate with things.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Yeah, Like I'm I don't even call it, I call
- 5:29Speaker 3: it fertility. Journey.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I'm not people like infertility. I'm like, I don't I'm
- 5:33Speaker 1: not infertile, yo, Like my levels are high.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Okay, so let's get that straight.
- 5:39Speaker 2: What do we call this lack of control journey?
- 5:44Speaker 3: Like, yeah, like let go let god journey.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 5:47Speaker 1: I was like I've seen so my algorithm is so
- 5:50Speaker 1: much like the fertility journey for a type a person
- 5:53Speaker 1: is such a struggle because you're so used to just like, Okay,
- 5:57Speaker 1: you put in the work and you get your outcome,
- 5:59Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Like this is just so
- 6:01Speaker 1: not that, like it's.
- 6:02Speaker 2: A crazy not lesson, but it's a good practice of
- 6:08Speaker 2: letting go of control because I don't like to do that.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I'm saying, a good practice for someone who doesn't like
- 6:16Speaker 2: to do that. You know, I don't like to do speak.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Practice is not making perfect. Let me tell you I've
- 6:21Speaker 1: been practicing. It's not working.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Yes, it is. It's just it's on its own timeline,
- 6:29Speaker 2: and you don't like something not being on your timeline.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Which we knew that about. Even Robbie proposing that was
- 6:34Speaker 2: a whole thing too. Oh, you didn't have control over
- 6:37Speaker 2: when he was going to.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Propose that man, and he made you practice well, Tortoise
- 6:43Speaker 1: the turtle over there. I think back on that, I'm like,
- 6:47Speaker 1: she really took his time with all due respect in
- 6:52Speaker 1: a timely manner.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Yeah, as someone who got engaged seven years after the fact,
- 6:58Speaker 2: I felt like he did a perfect time timelife.
- 7:02Speaker 3: If I were engaged to you, we'd have some talks.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well, y'all do have talks because we went and
- 7:09Speaker 2: had a little small day.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So oh wait, hold on, I meant to get to
- 7:13Speaker 1: somewhere about this fertility conversation. Why I'm out of cannon, No, no,
- 7:18Speaker 1: we can go back to that. But why I'm shot
- 7:20Speaker 1: out of the cannon is because I got my period
- 7:24Speaker 1: and I decided that I'm taking a month off of
- 7:28Speaker 1: just all the everything everything in my head, and I've
- 7:32Speaker 1: like refocused into just like work.
- 7:35Speaker 2: And live and laughing and love and live.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And laughing and loving, and so I do I feel
- 7:40Speaker 1: a little bit lighter. And so I'm like trying to
- 7:42Speaker 1: rail and rejigger the podcast. I want to like make
- 7:44Speaker 1: the podcast better. I want to like keep working out
- 7:47Speaker 1: and like kind of get my physical shape back into
- 7:50Speaker 1: you know, lots to take on in one month. But anyways,
- 7:54Speaker 1: that's why I find this middle ground.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Maybe we don't go from wanting stream to the next
- 7:58Speaker 2: and we just like merge the two together.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll see. But anyways, I'm feeling good.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I'm glad to hear you got your period.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:09Speaker 2: I was feeling what I would describe as menstrel ludial energy. Yes, well,
- 8:18Speaker 2: we went to so many moms. I feel like every
- 8:22Speaker 2: year we go to the SPA for Tony's birthday. But
- 8:24Speaker 2: she feels like it's only happened twice before. But anyways,
- 8:27Speaker 2: I feel like it's.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Three times out of the last I went to my
- 8:31Speaker 3: for my birthday last year.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I think that's what I was. Anyways, we love a
- 8:34Speaker 2: spa day tradition. Yeah, And so we were at the
- 8:37Speaker 2: SPA and I'm like, we're just having a great relaxing
- 8:41Speaker 2: time and then Tanya goes, I just miss you. Mind you.
- 8:46Speaker 2: I deal with this with my beautiful, wonderful fiance as well.
- 8:50Speaker 2: When we're in the same room and have been together NonStop,
- 8:54Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, well, I'm I'm here, I'm right here,
- 8:57Speaker 2: and she was like, I just you know, I feel
- 8:59Speaker 2: like we haven't had quality time and we're drifted. Our
- 9:05Speaker 2: friendship has drifted apart, and I'm like, I have not
- 9:09Speaker 2: felt this at all, So I'm so sorry I haven't
- 9:11Speaker 2: picked up on this. But next time, just communicate with
- 9:15Speaker 2: me so we can just re establish things. Because I'm
- 9:18Speaker 2: feeling fine. I'm feeling good. Nothing's changed in my heart.
- 9:21Speaker 1: And I was reassuring to hear as someone who feels
- 9:24Speaker 1: their friend is drifting away, I feel nothing.
- 9:26Speaker 3: I feel fine.
- 9:28Speaker 2: No, I just have secure attachment with you.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Ah. Yes, it must be nice, so.
- 9:35Speaker 2: I said, Unfortunately, whether you try to push me away
- 9:39Speaker 2: or not, I'm not going anywhere. We had to re
- 9:41Speaker 2: establish things. So I didn't know we were drifting, but
- 9:46Speaker 2: we're back.
- 9:48Speaker 1: So it was a combination of things. Because I've been
- 9:51Speaker 1: on one.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I'm upset. I didn't tell her about the Taylor Swish wedding,
- 9:54Speaker 2: so okay, yes, however, that's why she felt like we
- 9:57Speaker 2: were drifting.
- 9:58Speaker 1: No, it was before. It was weak before that. But
- 10:01Speaker 1: what I did not take into consideration was a lot
- 10:04Speaker 1: of your emotional mental energy was going to with your
- 10:07Speaker 1: going to your fiance for the movie release, and so
- 10:11Speaker 1: you were a little bit distant, but but rightfully so,
- 10:14Speaker 1: you had a lot going on, which I wasn't really
- 10:17Speaker 1: thinking about I wasn't that wasn't in the forefront in
- 10:19Speaker 1: my mind. I'm like, she's just not available to me,
- 10:21Speaker 1: and like she hates me. And now she's not telling
- 10:23Speaker 1: me about Taylor and Travis's wedding, and now she did
- 10:25Speaker 1: not hear for my birthday and she hates me.
- 10:28Speaker 2: I asked about like go go, and then it's brought
- 10:31Speaker 2: back up in the conversation of a strip.
- 10:33Speaker 1: So anyways, anyways, a lot of progesterone in my system
- 10:38Speaker 1: combode with that, combode with Haley's movie coming out.
- 10:42Speaker 3: I was just feeling a lot of things and I.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Need I need to get away. I think I think
- 10:46Speaker 2: I need a break, just someone people just giving to me,
- 10:51Speaker 2: filling me up.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Well, I'm here, I'm here to do that now, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I'll be seeking that out.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah. But I want to miss you. I mean,
- 11:00Speaker 3: I feel the same way about Robbie what.
- 11:03Speaker 2: You've shared on your story. Yeah. And then he actually
- 11:06Speaker 2: initiated the conversation.
- 11:08Speaker 3: He said I miss you, which he never does.
- 11:10Speaker 1: So I was like, you've trained him well, and I
- 11:15Speaker 1: was like so taken aback by it.
- 11:16Speaker 3: I was like, you finally understand the feeling. Oh yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 3: because I'm like it's.
- 11:24Speaker 1: We Yes, I see you every day, so it's like,
- 11:26Speaker 1: how can I miss you? But like the quality time's
- 11:29Speaker 1: not there because we've been constantly We worked during the day,
- 11:32Speaker 1: so we're not together during the day, and then we've
- 11:33Speaker 1: had a social event every single night, and then we
- 11:36Speaker 1: were in San Diego, so it was like we just
- 11:37Speaker 1: had and then the week before we had the kids, so.
- 11:41Speaker 3: There was just no quality time.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yeah. I messaged telling you on her story and I
- 11:46Speaker 2: was like, I just am so happy I'll found each other.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Same, same, yeah, And I think about that a lot.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Whenever I get like sad about the fertility stuff, I'm like,
- 11:57Speaker 1: at least I have a partner in life at is
- 12:01Speaker 1: as amazing as he is, right truly, Yeah, carries me through.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Yeah, tgfr Stable. Thank God for Robbie. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 12:12Speaker 2: We were always looking for your study.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Eddie, and I found him, I know, thank God.
- 12:18Speaker 2: So you want to say to you this weekend?
- 12:20Speaker 3: Yeah, would you do this weekend?
- 12:22Speaker 2: Well? So Haley was out of town, so Friday night
- 12:25Speaker 2: I was just like a lone ranger and I ordered
- 12:28Speaker 2: every meal to my home. I only talked to Haley
- 12:32Speaker 2: on the phone. That's the only person I actually spoke
- 12:35Speaker 2: out loud to other than Phoebe, which I realized I
- 12:37Speaker 2: talked to her a lot.
- 12:39Speaker 3: I talked to her when it's just us in the house.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Yeah, And then I realized, I'm essentially talking to myself,
- 12:45Speaker 2: but I do it a lot. Like I was really
- 12:48Speaker 2: thinking about how often I'm like saying my little ritual
- 12:52Speaker 2: things to her, you know her in the world.
- 12:55Speaker 3: You always talk to me.
- 12:56Speaker 2: No, but I didn't. Sorry, I didn't want to talk.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I was like happy to be silent, you know. But anyways,
- 13:01Speaker 2: I was Carson and Alley came over with their son,
- 13:04Speaker 2: their one year old son, and I was telling them.
- 13:08Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, Friday, I only talked to Haley, like,
- 13:11Speaker 2: that's the only time I spoke out loud. And I
- 13:13Speaker 2: just sat in silence. And he was like, and you
- 13:15Speaker 2: just ordered every meal to your door. And I was
- 13:16Speaker 2: like yeah. And he's like, wow, that's a dream. He's like,
- 13:22Speaker 2: you don't get that when you have when you have
- 13:24Speaker 2: a child.
- 13:24Speaker 3: That's honestly not my dream.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I know it's not. It's not everyone's dream, yeah, but
- 13:30Speaker 2: I know it's yours.
- 13:30Speaker 3: I'm happy for you.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Thank you. I had a great time. I got olive
- 13:33Speaker 2: garden delivered and what else, Well, I had ice cream
- 13:39Speaker 2: and then also snacks late at night, and then I
- 13:41Speaker 2: had hi that's not neither here nor there.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yeah that does matter, It really doesn't, it really does.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I don't think I was high that night, oh yeah, yeah, okay,
- 13:50Speaker 2: but anyways, I would do that on a sober night
- 13:53Speaker 2: as well. Yeah. So I was just vibing by myself.
- 13:58Speaker 2: And then Saturday I had a day with children. I
- 14:01Speaker 2: Alian Carson came over and swam, and then that night
- 14:04Speaker 2: I went to the park Huntington Gardens with Hailey's sister
- 14:07Speaker 2: and then.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Oh it's the Huntington Gardens. Is it pretty?
- 14:09Speaker 2: Oh my god, it's gorgeous.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Yeah. Everybody tells me that it's beautiful.
- 14:12Speaker 2: And they talked aren't allowed, no, Yeah, but they had
- 14:16Speaker 2: a swing band played. They do like summer concert so
- 14:19Speaker 2: it's like people all bring their like picnics and stuff.
- 14:21Speaker 2: So I went with Haley's sister and then her two kids,
- 14:25Speaker 2: niece and nephew, and it was really fun, so hot,
- 14:29Speaker 2: just so hot, but I was doing cartwheels and round
- 14:31Speaker 2: offs because there was an open field and I just
- 14:33Speaker 2: felt youthful. My whole body is in pain. Yeah, like
- 14:39Speaker 2: every muscle.
- 14:40Speaker 3: It creeps up on you and you do stuff like that.
- 14:42Speaker 2: But it felt so easy doing it, Like I was like,
- 14:44Speaker 2: it's like riding a bike.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I just whenever I play in the pool with the kids.
- 14:48Speaker 1: The next day, I'm like.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Aha, my shoulders maybe into some stretch glasses or something.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Let me tell you it's coming back. I'm doing it
- 14:57Speaker 1: this month. This is the month for me to get
- 14:59Speaker 1: it back.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Is this like the exit of tender Tanya? What's happening? Wonderful?
- 15:03Speaker 3: That extreme? I still love, Like I'm still gonna like
- 15:05Speaker 3: sleep and kitten heels. Yeah, and we're not like going
- 15:11Speaker 3: to the clue or anything like that.
- 15:13Speaker 2: But but like if we went and had dinner, would
- 15:15Speaker 2: you get a drink? Yeah?
- 15:16Speaker 1: I had a drink on Friday too. Actually, how was
- 15:19Speaker 1: it amazing? Except you know what I realized, Well, I'll
- 15:23Speaker 1: tell you when we come back.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Wow, we're back.
- 15:41Speaker 3: We're back. Do you know what I realized? But I
- 15:46Speaker 3: don't like drinking.
- 15:49Speaker 2: The tease of a century. But you just said it
- 15:53Speaker 2: was amazing.
- 15:53Speaker 1: It was in the moment.
- 15:54Speaker 3: So here's the thing.
- 15:55Speaker 2: I just had this conversation with Ali.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Oh really Yeah, So Okay.
- 15:59Speaker 1: So my we had like a really fun dinner and
- 16:02Speaker 1: my inlaws. My in laws wanted to take me out
- 16:04Speaker 1: for my birthday. What I also realized when you don't
- 16:06Speaker 1: have like a activity for your birthday, like you don't
- 16:08Speaker 1: have like a dinner or anything like that, you want
- 16:11Speaker 1: a lot of little activities with with a lot of
- 16:13Speaker 1: people my birthday celebrate you, yes, which is so nice.
- 16:16Speaker 1: So I'm like, I feel like I've been celebrating my
- 16:17Speaker 1: I'm going to lunch tomorrow for my birthday. I'm like
- 16:19Speaker 1: I've been celebrating my birthday for two weeks now.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Fun so loved. Oh what is the the my house is?
- 16:28Speaker 2: What is the saying where people complain about things?
- 16:31Speaker 3: About complaining? I love it so nice, Like you know
- 16:33Speaker 3: what I'm talking about.
- 16:34Speaker 2: When people come like, yeah, some mistake's to buttery, the
- 16:38Speaker 2: lobsters to lobstery. No, not a lobstery anyways.
- 16:43Speaker 3: I understand, but it is nice.
- 16:45Speaker 1: So I went to my in laws took me to
- 16:47Speaker 1: dinner and it was a really fun dinner. It's like
- 16:49Speaker 1: this restaurant that I love. And I had a glass
- 16:53Speaker 1: of wine.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Okay, then I.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Basically finished pauline A's glass of wine.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Then my mother in law was like flirting with not
- 17:03Speaker 1: flirting with, like trying to talk to this job at
- 17:05Speaker 1: the table, charming to like set Pauline up, and so
- 17:09Speaker 1: they sent over champagne. Wow, So I had what is
- 17:13Speaker 1: that one and a half plus champagne? So two and
- 17:15Speaker 1: a half drinks by the time I got home that
- 17:19Speaker 1: night at a headache.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Champagne destroys me.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I literally had I was like, how am I hungover
- 17:26Speaker 1: before the next day? Like this, this is some.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Crazy I even drink in like a year, right.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I'll have like a little bit like when I get
- 17:34Speaker 1: my period, I'll have, you know, a little something to
- 17:37Speaker 1: take the edge off. But it's not more than like
- 17:39Speaker 1: a half a glass of wine. I'm not you know,
- 17:41Speaker 1: throwing anything back really right, So yeah, it's been a minute.
- 17:44Speaker 1: But like the fact that I had a headache at
- 17:47Speaker 1: ten pm on a Friday or whatever, it was like
- 17:49Speaker 1: nine pm.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I will rarely drink champagne because I immediately feel like
- 17:54Speaker 2: I will nap and have a headache.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it's horrible. So it's like the drinking was fun
- 17:58Speaker 3: in the moment.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I had so much fun, but then I'm like, I
- 18:00Speaker 1: have a headache now, and I'm trying to go to
- 18:02Speaker 1: bed and this is gonna mess up my sleep.
- 18:05Speaker 2: This happened when we were in Cabo, and I don't
- 18:08Speaker 2: know if it's just everything's better quality and stronger if
- 18:12Speaker 2: they just do heavier pores. But we would get a
- 18:15Speaker 2: drink at the pool and we were like, we need
- 18:17Speaker 2: to go nap.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Well, also because of the heat.
- 18:20Speaker 2: It was very hot in here. Yeah, but normally you're
- 18:22Speaker 2: sweating it out, so you almost sometimes you feel like
- 18:24Speaker 2: you're actually not like, I.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Know, are you kid?
- 18:28Speaker 2: Say it's your wedding, but yeah, yes, And when.
- 18:31Speaker 1: We were Palm Springs and you were like throwing up
- 18:33Speaker 1: during our Sabrina Carpenter.
- 18:34Speaker 2: However, that was different because I was in the pool drinking,
- 18:39Speaker 2: so I wasn't even feeling.
- 18:40Speaker 1: How No, So the heat dehydrates you and then alcohol
- 18:44Speaker 1: dehydrates you.
- 18:45Speaker 3: It's like a double whammy.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Okay, Well, anyways, the whole time we were like, gosh,
- 18:50Speaker 2: we are such lightweights. We immediately need a nap after
- 18:52Speaker 2: we go to like drink. And then Ali texted me
- 18:55Speaker 2: and said she hasn't basically drink in a year, and
- 18:57Speaker 2: she said she had a margarita and she was like,
- 19:00Speaker 2: I feel drunk from one margerity, yeah, even why do
- 19:03Speaker 2: we do this?
- 19:04Speaker 1: And I was like, well, it's so it's when you're
- 19:05Speaker 1: at a social it's so fun.
- 19:08Speaker 2: There's nothing better than just like that first fiel or
- 19:11Speaker 2: first drink, feeling nothing better.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Nothing better. I was flying high at dinner.
- 19:17Speaker 2: And then you wake up and you're like, was it
- 19:19Speaker 2: that fun?
- 19:20Speaker 3: That's fine. I took some motrin and I was able
- 19:22Speaker 3: to sleep, So it was fun. It was that fun.
- 19:26Speaker 3: So yeah, I don't know, maybe I'll have like a drink.
- 19:28Speaker 2: With you, but well, how lucky would I be? How
- 19:31Speaker 2: lucky could I be?
- 19:33Speaker 3: Do you know what else?
- 19:34Speaker 1: I realize that that I'm so awkward. I always talk
- 19:37Speaker 1: about Zoom.
- 19:38Speaker 3: And stuff like that. How much I hate Zoom.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I really hate Zoom because I just don't think I'm
- 19:42Speaker 1: my best self on Zoom. I had this like meeting
- 19:46Speaker 1: with this person from the Food Network. It was just
- 19:48Speaker 1: like a get to know them type thing, and I'm like,
- 19:52Speaker 1: I'm so awkward.
- 19:54Speaker 2: You probably weren't awkward I am, but what I don't
- 19:57Speaker 2: even I can't even picture you being awkward. I know
- 20:00Speaker 2: I don't have that vibe at all.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I don't think so either, But I left it like
- 20:04Speaker 1: not feeling confident and I don't like that. And I'm like,
- 20:07Speaker 1: it's the zoom. It's these screens.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the damn phone because I don't know, I
- 20:19Speaker 4: can't be one hundred percent myself through the zoom.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Well, now you should just request in person meetings.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll come to you.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll come wherever you are.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Yeah, whatever city you live in, I'm there.
- 20:30Speaker 2: You should just say before we if you have to
- 20:32Speaker 2: do a zoom, you should say, can we start with
- 20:34Speaker 2: an icebreaker and just play the Guess Who game?
- 20:37Speaker 3: Really quick? An excellent idea. It might take a while.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Tell them to allow fifteen minutes you know start time.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Yeah, could work. Also, I might take an AI camp
- 20:52Speaker 1: this summer.
- 20:54Speaker 2: An AI camp?
- 20:55Speaker 3: What is that where I learned about AI?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Where like the Apple Store or they do like free
- 21:00Speaker 2: things for older people?
- 21:04Speaker 3: No, at a college campus, Thank you very much.
- 21:08Speaker 2: I mean, I'm like, it's weird because AI is so
- 21:12Speaker 2: complicated my feelings towards it, because it's happening, whether I
- 21:16Speaker 2: want to support it or not, you know, like it's
- 21:18Speaker 2: it's it's inevitable.
- 21:20Speaker 3: In twenty years, AI is probably gonna be doing your surgeries.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you won't even say twenty years then,
- 21:27Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. It's going fast.
- 21:29Speaker 3: It's going fast.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Anyways. It's kind of like get on the boat or
- 21:32Speaker 2: get left behind exactly, And it's hard to know where
- 21:38Speaker 2: like the moral part of me stand, like my morality
- 21:41Speaker 2: around it, you.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Know, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 21:43Speaker 2: But it's also like it is one of those things
- 21:46Speaker 2: where you go, Okay, our parents didn't want to learn
- 21:48Speaker 2: things about technology, and if you didn't choose to learn
- 21:53Speaker 2: and move forward, you know, I don't know, complicated, But anyways,
- 21:57Speaker 2: where are you taking it? Are you going to code?
- 22:00Speaker 2: What are you going to do?
- 22:01Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I'm not one hundred percent sure this is the place
- 22:04Speaker 1: for me. I'm just like doing some initial investigating.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Huh what are you trying to do with AI?
- 22:09Speaker 3: Just like learn about it?
- 22:10Speaker 2: But like what are you wanting to learn? Which you want?
- 22:14Speaker 1: What I can?
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 22:14Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Like CHATCHYBT is like my Google, my like
- 22:17Speaker 1: Google search, but beyond that, like what can it do
- 22:20Speaker 1: for me?
- 22:20Speaker 3: How can I help me with?
- 22:21Speaker 2: You say, to figure that out? You're going to pay
- 22:23Speaker 2: for a class?
- 22:24Speaker 3: Can I just help you? Know?
- 22:26Speaker 1: I need like I need initial base and care. Yeah,
- 22:29Speaker 1: hands on definitely get not through a screen, not with
- 22:32Speaker 1: an AI.
- 22:32Speaker 3: I don't need AI.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Teaching me about AI. That could be a disaster. Okay,
- 22:36Speaker 1: I feel like Robbie could.
- 22:38Speaker 2: He seems quite knowledgeable in his he's very knowledgeable. Yes,
- 22:41Speaker 2: maybe he can give you some tips and then if
- 22:43Speaker 2: you need further you could take a class.
- 22:45Speaker 3: I don't know about that.
- 22:48Speaker 2: What else are you learning about?
- 22:51Speaker 3: I need something? Is over?
- 22:54Speaker 2: Okay? Tanya sent me up. She was like, oh Hannah
- 22:58Speaker 2: Berner got bowtok and her drawings. You can't smile. And
- 23:01Speaker 2: then Sam said, the article is from June Thirtieth's like
- 23:05Speaker 2: a month since Donya has missed about this happening breaking
- 23:11Speaker 2: news here in grubbing in Hannah Burner.
- 23:15Speaker 1: First of all, Okay, so it's not about the breaking news,
- 23:18Speaker 1: because nobody comes here to get breaking news. This is
- 23:20Speaker 1: not the podcast for breaking news. However, it is our
- 23:23Speaker 1: interpretation or our perspective on that news that I think
- 23:26Speaker 1: is of interest.
- 23:27Speaker 2: What's what's your perspective?
- 23:29Speaker 3: Well, so I don't follow Hannah Burner.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you're missing out.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I don't follow Hannah Burner, nor do I follow the
- 23:34Speaker 1: Giggly squad fill and no I never watched Summer House.
- 23:38Speaker 3: I don't know who these people are.
- 23:39Speaker 2: There are two women in podcasts.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Well, they came late in the game.
- 23:45Speaker 2: They took off though, that's why surpassed us quickly.
- 23:51Speaker 1: That's neither here nor there. Okay, they're not in my orbit.
- 23:55Speaker 1: So this popped up in my like discover page and
- 23:57Speaker 1: I now follow the Giggly Squad because I really enjoy
- 24:00Speaker 1: this clip that I saw. But it was of Hannah.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Uh.
- 24:04Speaker 1: She was like laughing and her face wasn't moving, and
- 24:07Speaker 1: so I was very intrigued of like what she got done.
- 24:10Speaker 3: But I thought it was also really cool that.
- 24:13Speaker 1: She didn't like go to get it like fixed or whatever,
- 24:16Speaker 1: or like cancel the podcast and yeah you can get
- 24:19Speaker 1: it like dissolved.
- 24:19Speaker 2: No not you can't get filler dissolved, not like.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yeah, you can go into a sauna and like heat
- 24:24Speaker 1: it out, because like the sauna.
- 24:27Speaker 2: You can get stuff done, but it's not in it.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I think she's probably doing all the time, assuming she's
- 24:32Speaker 2: probably doing everything she can.
- 24:33Speaker 1: They could have paused their podcast for a beat, like
- 24:36Speaker 1: you know what I mean? If she I just like
- 24:37Speaker 1: that she's owning it.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, a podcast isn't typically audio.
- 24:43Speaker 3: So I saw THEIRS, I was like a clip.
- 24:46Speaker 2: You know they have they have the video option, But
- 24:49Speaker 2: she could have just said The impressive part is that
- 24:51Speaker 2: she didn't say, we're only releasing audio. Yeah, for however
- 24:55Speaker 2: long this takes. She's giving the people the gift of
- 24:59Speaker 2: going through this with her because one of the funniest things,
- 25:03Speaker 2: like when someone goes to the dentist and gets a
- 25:05Speaker 2: shot and they can't smile, but hers is permanent until
- 25:08Speaker 2: it goes.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Away for like a three months.
- 25:11Speaker 2: So basically she had I think she got it for
- 25:13Speaker 2: her TMJ.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Yeah, but I've also had TMJ botalks and my face
- 25:17Speaker 1: did not do that.
- 25:18Speaker 2: The girl that does my bowtox Brianna. She was saying
- 25:21Speaker 2: that sometimes if you go to someone who specializes in
- 25:24Speaker 2: the TMJ aspect and not the cosmetic part, they just
- 25:28Speaker 2: put as much as they need it. They just are
- 25:30Speaker 2: focused on making your TMJ pain go away, as opposed
- 25:33Speaker 2: to thinking about the cosmetic repercussions. And I don't know, I.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Always have to think about the cosmetic repercussions.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Spoiler alert botox. I'm just like throwing caution to the wind. Really,
- 25:45Speaker 2: I mean, I trust her, she knows where to put it.
- 25:46Speaker 2: But like I've had times where I've gone to someone
- 25:48Speaker 2: in my eyebrow was like up higher than the other.
- 25:51Speaker 2: But that you can fix because you can do different muscles,
- 25:55Speaker 2: you know. But I think with the jaw you can't.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Really.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I think it just has to run its course. But
- 26:02Speaker 2: it is hilarious and Page, oh my god, the video
- 26:07Speaker 2: is hilarious. If you had that, I would not be
- 26:11Speaker 2: able to control my laughter.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Would be able.
- 26:14Speaker 1: I don't even know what I would do if I
- 26:16Speaker 1: had that. It would stress me out. It would stress
- 26:20Speaker 1: me out. Yeah, it would send me into a spiral.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I love her. I love She's so funny.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Yeah, new fans. Shout out to Hannah and Page. You
- 26:31Speaker 3: got a new fan and me and they've.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Really got something going on. Girls. Welcome to the.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Podcast Onto something over there at Giggly Squad.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Okay, so speaking of last wait, No, I want to
- 26:45Speaker 2: talk about. Did you go to Arizona State? Is that
- 26:47Speaker 2: where you went? No? The other one? You went to
- 26:51Speaker 2: the other one, the party School?
- 26:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 26:52Speaker 3: I did you went to the party School? Yes? What
- 26:55Speaker 3: was that one called University of Arizona.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Oh, it's tough. Why there's so many there's two Okay,
- 27:00Speaker 2: well I had a fifty fifty I missed a so
- 27:05Speaker 2: Arizona state. I'm assuming your rival, yes, rival has launched
- 27:10Speaker 2: is launching a degree on becoming an influencer.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Yes, I saw this.
- 27:15Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on this?
- 27:17Speaker 1: I think it's a terrible idea. Really, Yes, why Because
- 27:21Speaker 1: here's the thing.
- 27:22Speaker 3: I think that.
- 27:27Speaker 1: A lot of a lot of kids these days, the
- 27:31Speaker 1: kids these days, that's like their go to. If you
- 27:35Speaker 1: ask all these kids what they want to be, they
- 27:36Speaker 1: say they want to be TikTok stars and influencers. Giving
- 27:41Speaker 1: them a course where they think that that's something that
- 27:43Speaker 1: like they all. I don't know, I just find it
- 27:46Speaker 1: to be problematic for our future.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's fair. But I also think it's
- 27:52Speaker 2: a specific personality of someone who, once they get into
- 27:55Speaker 2: the world of making videos and editing videos and doing it,
- 27:59Speaker 2: decid I, oh, do I have the is this what
- 28:03Speaker 2: I want?
- 28:03Speaker 5: Like?
- 28:03Speaker 2: Do I have the personality for this? Do I have
- 28:05Speaker 2: the like desire the consistency? Because the thing about it's
- 28:10Speaker 2: such a luck It's such a lucky thing. And I
- 28:13Speaker 2: think there is a way that you can use tools
- 28:17Speaker 2: and metrics to grow a platform like I do think
- 28:20Speaker 2: you could just start from the bottom and use like
- 28:22Speaker 2: information you have to build. But I think it's I
- 28:27Speaker 2: would say luck that your a video goes viral, And
- 28:30Speaker 2: then I think it's being someone that's interesting. Like I
- 28:33Speaker 2: think about Alex Earl and she was just consistent in
- 28:35Speaker 2: like making videos of her getting ready for her parties
- 28:37Speaker 2: in college and people loved that. She was so like
- 28:41Speaker 2: she was such a party girl and owned it, like
- 28:43Speaker 2: she was just who she was and she was taking
- 28:45Speaker 2: us along with her. And instead of staying stagnant and
- 28:49Speaker 2: that being even though she still like shows her getting
- 28:51Speaker 2: ready to go out and party and stuff, she's elevated
- 28:54Speaker 2: herself into this business woman and has done so much
- 28:57Speaker 2: more and that it's not a lack of hard work.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Is it a fun job? Is it like a dream job? Sure?
- 29:04Speaker 2: But like is she working her ass off? Yeah?
- 29:10Speaker 1: I don't think that this is Like I think there's
- 29:11Speaker 1: space for everybody and anybody that wants to be an influencer.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I think can be I think where my where I
- 29:17Speaker 1: feel like, And I think people do this in real
- 29:21Speaker 1: life where they like go to build their social media
- 29:25Speaker 1: whilst they also are doing something else that's like paying
- 29:28Speaker 1: the bills, right, and then if they catch them, if
- 29:31Speaker 1: they are able to get brand deals, if they're able
- 29:33Speaker 1: to make a living out of it, then they.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Let go of that job.
- 29:36Speaker 1: But I feel like just like going straight into it
- 29:39Speaker 1: taking a course and like graduating with an honor or
- 29:43Speaker 1: an honor and influencing or whatever.
- 29:46Speaker 3: I just I was just a class.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Wait, I agree, it is a degree.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it's concerning to me for just for that purposes,
- 29:55Speaker 1: because I feel like it's something that you should do
- 29:56Speaker 1: in tandem with alongside something else. And I just feel
- 30:01Speaker 1: like when your frontal lobe is not developed, you're not
- 30:04Speaker 1: gonna see that.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Here's the thing. They're already online. Every the kids are
- 30:08Speaker 2: already online. They're already being to do it. So if
- 30:11Speaker 2: they have a chance to use their brain and have
- 30:13Speaker 2: a marketing mindset to where even if it wasn't them
- 30:16Speaker 2: being an influencer working with brands and knowing how marketing
- 30:19Speaker 2: strategy works, I don't think it's a negative thing. If
- 30:23Speaker 2: they're already going to be online, why not make money.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Because they can learn all this on AI? Why are
- 30:31Speaker 3: you taking a class?
- 30:34Speaker 2: I hate when it goes back around like that.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Damn, damn, I hate that for me.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Anyways, it's it's interesting and it might be one of
- 30:44Speaker 2: those things where it was like that was a bust,
- 30:46Speaker 2: you know, we don't need to do that again, or
- 30:49Speaker 2: it might create more people good at marketing and strategy.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Good job as U.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Speaking of social media, you know, it's so freaking funny
- 31:00Speaker 1: and that, like.
- 31:01Speaker 3: I I.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Get what's the word tricked so much on social media?
- 31:09Speaker 1: So there's this girl that I follow. I don't follow her. Sorry,
- 31:12Speaker 1: I don't follow her. She came up in my you
- 31:14Speaker 1: know whatever, my discovery phage.
- 31:16Speaker 3: And it was like.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I lived this amazing life and like click or like
- 31:22Speaker 1: comment below comment class for me to send you what.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Was her name? The lazy Millionaire?
- 31:30Speaker 1: No to send me, I'll send you my five day
- 31:35Speaker 1: crash course on like whatever.
- 31:38Speaker 3: This is right, So what do I do? Comment below class? Okay?
- 31:43Speaker 1: So she DMS me and she goes and it's all automated.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I can tell it's not her, right, it's like all
- 31:48Speaker 1: it's just like it's a message and it goes. In
- 31:51Speaker 1: order for me to send you the class, you have
- 31:52Speaker 1: to follow me, okay, So I go over to her
- 31:55Speaker 1: page click follow. Meanwhile, Robbie's right next to me during
- 31:58Speaker 1: this whole thing. I'm like, babe, this girl's gonna get
- 32:00Speaker 1: this class and like learn all this stuff. And then
- 32:03Speaker 1: she goes click the link and like answer these questions.
- 32:06Speaker 1: And Robbie was like, babe, this is some sort.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Of pyramid scheme. Yes, em mel, yes, and everybody's doing it.
- 32:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but why Okay, So I was gonna fall for it.
- 32:18Speaker 1: But then so she kept sending me the link and
- 32:20Speaker 1: I wasn't clicking the link, and then she like sent
- 32:22Speaker 1: me another automated thing like make sure you click the
- 32:23Speaker 1: link you to get my course, And I was like,
- 32:25Speaker 1: I don't want your course anymore. You said that, no,
- 32:29Speaker 1: but I just ignored it because then Robbie told me,
- 32:30Speaker 1: this's like some scheme. But then I'm like, obviously a
- 32:34Speaker 1: lot of people are falling for it. What's the scheme?
- 32:36Speaker 1: How am I getting schemed?
- 32:38Speaker 2: Not schem? I don't think it's that. I think it's
- 32:41Speaker 2: just like your it's probably like you buy my course.
- 32:44Speaker 2: So that's how she makes money.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Oh so I would have to buy it. You probably
- 32:48Speaker 3: she was gonna send it to me for free.
- 32:49Speaker 2: I don't think nothing's for free. But girl, shoot, yeah,
- 32:55Speaker 2: it's a it's a thing. It's like a business plan. Basically,
- 32:58Speaker 2: it's almost like how to build it's basically becoming an
- 33:01Speaker 2: influencer degree.
- 33:02Speaker 3: So this is what they would teach you at ASU.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Literally it's a step.
- 33:05Speaker 2: By step probably generated from AI, of like how should
- 33:09Speaker 2: I teach people to grow their platform?
- 33:12Speaker 3: Wow, she got me this girl.
- 33:14Speaker 2: It's very I mean, listen, it's business minded, it's marketing.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I followed this girl and she sent me a what
- 33:21Speaker 2: I think is of generated voice memo and it was like,
- 33:25Speaker 2: oh my gosh, I can't believe you followed me. That's
- 33:28Speaker 2: how it started to us, like oh, like she knows
- 33:30Speaker 2: me from watching The Bachelor or something. No, just like
- 33:35Speaker 2: anonymate basically that same thing, which is genius because the
- 33:38Speaker 2: text is the text is deceiving, but a.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Voice note, Yeah, that's what do you want from a girl?
- 33:49Speaker 1: By the way, my dad okay, so you know my
- 33:51Speaker 1: dad's a retired psychiatrist. Yes, So everything is like this
- 33:55Speaker 1: like analysis of whatever.
- 33:57Speaker 3: And when I was.
- 33:58Speaker 1: There this weekend, Robin were having a conversation with him
- 34:01Speaker 1: about somebody, somebody in our life that wants to become
- 34:04Speaker 1: an influencer. And my dad's just like trying so hard
- 34:08Speaker 1: to like understand the life of it and like, so
- 34:11Speaker 1: he was like, I can't remember we brought your name
- 34:15Speaker 1: up and my dad was like trying to understand that.
- 34:18Speaker 3: So why why do people follow beca? Like what is
- 34:22Speaker 3: it about Becca that people say?
- 34:25Speaker 2: Hard to say?
- 34:26Speaker 1: But like we're trying to like differentiate, and like he
- 34:29Speaker 1: just wasn't getting it.
- 34:30Speaker 3: And I was like, that's exactly why.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Because I think when you have someone who has a
- 34:34Speaker 2: niche platform and you're like, oh, they follow me for this,
- 34:37Speaker 2: it's easier to explain to somebody.
- 34:39Speaker 1: But my dad knows you. So it's really the example
- 34:41Speaker 1: that I can give because if I gave him somebody else,
- 34:44Speaker 1: he would not know who they are, do you know
- 34:45Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 34:46Speaker 3: I had to give him like well, you.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Could just be like, oh, this is so and so
- 34:49Speaker 2: she's known for her cooking videos and her recipes like
- 34:52Speaker 2: brock your body, and so everyone follows her to get
- 34:55Speaker 2: recipes that are like dupes from their favorite restaurants. I'm
- 34:58Speaker 2: a tough It's a tough soun for someone who doesn't
- 35:02Speaker 2: understand what was really tough prob.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Me and I were really trying and then I'm just like, you.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Know what, that's the thing about me? I got so
- 35:09Speaker 2: mine literally was luck like I was on the Bachelor
- 35:12Speaker 2: at the right time, influencing, merged with that at the
- 35:16Speaker 2: right time, and it just.
- 35:19Speaker 3: I but you're likable, you're funny.
- 35:23Speaker 2: I've been able to maintain it. I've been able to
- 35:25Speaker 2: maintain like having that career and lifestyle. But I'm saying
- 35:30Speaker 2: how it happened. I didn't grow it from nothing, right,
- 35:33Speaker 2: And that's so hard. I think people don't realize if
- 35:36Speaker 2: everyone could do it, everyone would do it.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so true. If everybody could do it, everybody
- 35:40Speaker 1: would do it.
- 35:41Speaker 2: I'm speaking of social media. I want to what, what
- 35:43Speaker 2: are you going to talk about?
- 35:44Speaker 3: Well, you look sad, so what are you going to
- 35:46Speaker 3: I want to talk about this breakup?
- 35:47Speaker 2: Oh, okay, let's do it when we come back.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Okay, we're back, We're back.
- 36:13Speaker 1: So it's not breaking news because it's happened not that
- 36:18Speaker 1: long ago, a few days ago. But Landria and Nick
- 36:23Speaker 1: from Love Island USA Season seven announced they're split.
- 36:30Speaker 3: And I told you this. Oh wait, they were the
- 36:34Speaker 3: runners up on season seven? Who won Season seven?
- 36:39Speaker 2: Amaya Papaya.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Oh that's right, that's right, that's right, that's right. Yeah,
- 36:42Speaker 1: so they were runners up. I didn't believe this relationship
- 36:46Speaker 1: from the beginning. I thought it was not real from
- 36:50Speaker 1: the beginning. This breakup did not shock me.
- 36:54Speaker 3: I was waiting for it.
- 36:55Speaker 1: However, I would like to say props to Landria and
- 37:01Speaker 1: Nick for keeping the charade going for a year, because
- 37:05Speaker 1: nothing irks me more as a Love Island fan than
- 37:10Speaker 1: these couples that break up like two weeks after they
- 37:12Speaker 1: leave the villa.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Yeah, so even if it was a charade.
- 37:15Speaker 1: And they were just playing us, I applaud it.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Okay, claps for Nick and Orlandria.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Yes, honestly because remember last well you don't watch the UK,
- 37:25Speaker 1: but Sammy and uh what does nuts the guy who
- 37:29Speaker 1: won with her last season, they broke up literally like
- 37:32Speaker 1: weeks after leaving the villa and they won. They won
- 37:34Speaker 1: the season, so did Amya Pathaya and Brian.
- 37:37Speaker 3: Yeah, but they were like not even real.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Oh but Samy and they were like legit.
- 37:44Speaker 1: They were dating like half of the season. They were together.
- 37:47Speaker 1: They were like such a strong couple. So anyways, I
- 37:52Speaker 1: never believe that they were a couple, but I'm happy
- 37:54Speaker 1: that they gave they they put in the work.
- 37:58Speaker 2: They said, we can do one year of this.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Yeah, like we're friends. That's the thing. They were friends.
- 38:02Speaker 3: I think it was just like a friendship.
- 38:03Speaker 2: I didn't follow their relationships so closely, so I only
- 38:07Speaker 2: saw photos of them if it got picked up where
- 38:09Speaker 2: people were posting clips of them somewhere, but it was
- 38:11Speaker 2: always at events. I never just saw like shots of
- 38:13Speaker 2: them like at home, like menapasta, not domesticated. Never images. Yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 2: but again I didn't follow it super closely. But I
- 38:22Speaker 2: liked that they were like we're ending and Bryce and
- 38:26Speaker 2: Trinity are beginning. That's why I thought that model the
- 38:30Speaker 2: model guy, the model boyfriend with the stunning DJ.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, So I did see that Melanie and Sincere
- 38:41Speaker 2: were spotted out together recently in LA, which I thought
- 38:46Speaker 2: they had I just assume maybe they broke up to
- 38:48Speaker 2: but they were hanging out. Yeah, Haley is watching, like
- 38:53Speaker 2: and when I say watching, she's skimming through Love Island
- 38:55Speaker 2: UK this season.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't skim through. It's so good a.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Boring, Like, I mean, it's so many conversations, and.
- 39:04Speaker 1: I know, I actually think about all the time the
- 39:07Speaker 1: editors of that show and like how many boring conversations
- 39:10Speaker 1: they have to watch to get like these little clips
- 39:12Speaker 1: to put into an hour episode every single day.
- 39:16Speaker 2: No, they're really the MVPs.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Yeah that do that.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Yeah, and Ian him having the voiceovers.
- 39:22Speaker 3: I watched one of his, Like, I changed.
- 39:23Speaker 2: My tune on Ian because I used to be like
- 39:25Speaker 2: so I found him. It was the reason why I
- 39:27Speaker 2: wouldn't watch the show. I found him so irritating, and
- 39:30Speaker 2: I've changed. I laugh out loud.
- 39:32Speaker 3: I think he's so funny. Sometimes his jokes don't hit,
- 39:34Speaker 3: but like you can't get a hundred, you know, oh,
- 39:37Speaker 3: night after night, Yeah, you can't bat a hundred. But
- 39:40Speaker 3: the ones that hit are very good.
- 39:41Speaker 2: But Haley's like, where's the host of this show? Why
- 39:44Speaker 2: is there no host? Because Ariana comes in for every
- 39:47Speaker 2: coupling and everything.
- 39:48Speaker 1: So I had the same thoughts. Apparently she was shooting
- 39:53Speaker 1: Trader's UK or.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Something like she's all contestant.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Yeah, like they're doing like a celebrity version and she's
- 39:59Speaker 1: she was like shooting, So that's why she was like gone, booked, yeah,
- 40:02Speaker 1: booked and busy Maya Jama. But she's back, she comes back.
- 40:06Speaker 1: She's been back the past couple of weeks, but it's
- 40:09Speaker 1: almost over. I have like not very many episodes. Well yeah,
- 40:13Speaker 1: and I'm so sad.
- 40:14Speaker 2: So she got through about six episodes last night just
- 40:16Speaker 2: skimming through.
- 40:18Speaker 3: She can't scam.
- 40:19Speaker 2: She's pretty easy to skim. Me figure things out pretty
- 40:21Speaker 2: quick when you're not watching it, like one episode at
- 40:24Speaker 2: a time.
- 40:24Speaker 1: It's I know, I know, but I will say that,
- 40:27Speaker 1: like this season of Love Island UK has been top
- 40:30Speaker 1: tier entertainment for me personally.
- 40:32Speaker 2: I told her you said that, so her expectations are high.
- 40:35Speaker 3: It should be okay.
- 40:38Speaker 2: I wanted to talk since we're talking about dating. Do
- 40:41Speaker 2: you consider liking an Instagram post is cheating?
- 40:44Speaker 3: Yes?
- 40:45Speaker 1: Really, I mean no, but kinda, but like, I don't
- 40:49Speaker 1: think it's innocent.
- 40:50Speaker 3: I don't think it's nice.
- 40:52Speaker 1: If there's like a thirst trap the squirrel has like
- 40:54Speaker 1: her boobs out and her butt out, and Robbie was
- 40:56Speaker 1: to like it, I'd be like, what are you doing?
- 40:57Speaker 2: Right? So it's totally on the basis of how much
- 41:01Speaker 2: skin is exposed, yes, yeah, but otherwise it's fine.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Mm depends on the girl.
- 41:09Speaker 2: Wow, all those gut do you have a mic? Can
- 41:12Speaker 2: we turn you on super disrespectful no matter no matter
- 41:16Speaker 2: what it is. Well, back to your point, if it's
- 41:20Speaker 2: like boobs but out, totally that's out of the question
- 41:24Speaker 2: like that is just you have an intention and it's
- 41:26Speaker 2: not good.
- 41:27Speaker 3: Why you don't think it's cheating.
- 41:29Speaker 2: That that I I don't know that. I would say
- 41:32Speaker 2: it's cheating, but I think.
- 41:33Speaker 1: She's super extreme extreme word, but I would conversation.
- 41:39Speaker 2: But what so you? But you said it's not always
- 41:43Speaker 2: if it's the skin skin.
- 41:45Speaker 5: I have a boyfriend of year, okay, and I see
- 41:48Speaker 5: him like girls that I don't know. If it's girlfriends
- 41:51Speaker 5: that I know, yeah, I'll be like, Okay, I get it,
- 41:55Speaker 5: like we both know her. But if it's a girl
- 41:58Speaker 5: that I don't know, I'm not crazy about it.
- 42:02Speaker 2: That's so true though, because why is he liking a
- 42:05Speaker 2: girl that you don't know?
- 42:06Speaker 3: What do you ever see?
- 42:11Speaker 2: No things you don't know, No like other chefs and stuff.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Robie would never he's near of a silent. He's very
- 42:20Speaker 1: engaged our watcher. Yeah, he's very engaged with our friends,
- 42:23Speaker 1: and he'll engage with like all of our friend's content.
- 42:25Speaker 1: But outside of that, he's not like.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I think if I saw like a really like
- 42:30Speaker 2: a hot girl and I didn't know her, and I
- 42:33Speaker 2: saw Haley like she liked it, I'd be like, who
- 42:37Speaker 2: is she?
- 42:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it's weird.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I'm not. I'm not that chill. I used
- 42:42Speaker 2: to be chill, and I'm not that chill.
- 42:46Speaker 3: So weird to me, but that you're not chill like
- 42:49Speaker 3: that what.
- 42:50Speaker 2: It used to be chill? Is it? I really wasn't
- 42:53Speaker 2: that chill with Robert either, Like really, Yeah, he'd go
- 42:56Speaker 2: on trips with all these like bikini models and stuff
- 42:58Speaker 2: and if I didn't want to, but he was an agent,
- 43:01Speaker 2: so like he was. And honestly, I never once doubted
- 43:05Speaker 2: that anything or I never thought anything was happening. But
- 43:07Speaker 2: it was just like this guy that I'm dating is
- 43:10Speaker 2: around all these hot models, right staying in the same
- 43:14Speaker 2: like house or wherever they are, you know. Yeah, So
- 43:17Speaker 2: I grew some thick skin through that, and then it
- 43:20Speaker 2: got weaker and we got weakened again when I met Haley.
- 43:23Speaker 3: Is Hailey like Rando's on Instagram? No, no, no.
- 43:27Speaker 2: She loves she Last night was watching this family who
- 43:30Speaker 2: lives in like the forest and eats fruit off the tree.
- 43:32Speaker 2: So that's kind of her. Her algorithm makes me feel
- 43:36Speaker 2: very safe with very safe. Yeah, and I'm mostly just
- 43:40Speaker 2: like watching like pranks or people. Okay, we had this
- 43:44Speaker 2: conversation the other day, but I if someone is okay, like,
- 43:49Speaker 2: I know they're okay, went after the fact. I think
- 43:51Speaker 2: it's so funny when people post videos of someone falling,
- 43:54Speaker 2: like if they're walking on ice or something like with
- 43:57Speaker 2: that Love Island challenge where they were having to run
- 43:59Speaker 2: on that slip bring Matt, I was almost crying laughing.
- 44:04Speaker 2: I think it's so funny when it's again when they're
- 44:06Speaker 2: not injured. Haley, I'll show her a video that I
- 44:09Speaker 2: think is so funny and she's like, oh, like, I
- 44:12Speaker 2: don't like that. I know you're the same way.
- 44:14Speaker 3: I don't really like that either.
- 44:16Speaker 2: So we were with her friends yesterday and we were
- 44:19Speaker 2: celebrating her friend Monica's birthday, and I was I brought
- 44:22Speaker 2: this up, and all her friends are like, oh my god,
- 44:24Speaker 2: I die laughing at videos of people following, and I
- 44:27Speaker 2: was like, oh, this makes me feel so much better.
- 44:29Speaker 2: Because both Tanya and Haley don't like pranks and they
- 44:33Speaker 2: don't like when people fall or get hurt. I don't
- 44:36Speaker 2: like when people get hurt, but I love like a
- 44:38Speaker 2: compilation of people slipping on ice or something.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Speaking of this is so right, just because you said
- 44:44Speaker 1: yesterday and I remember what I did yesterday pottery?
- 44:48Speaker 3: No, have you seen the movie The Invite?
- 44:50Speaker 2: No? But I'm curious about it.
- 44:53Speaker 1: It is so freaking funny, so freaking funny funny. It
- 44:59Speaker 1: is so freak funny. Okay, you need to see it,
- 45:03Speaker 1: and we need to discuss it. It's like really just
- 45:05Speaker 1: gonna fall flat if I just like sit here talk
- 45:07Speaker 1: about it.
- 45:08Speaker 2: And I don't want spoilers, so.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Okay, I'm not gonna you spoilers. But there's it's it's
- 45:15Speaker 1: also very like real, you know what I mean. Like
- 45:17Speaker 1: there's like so much realness about like relationships and marriage
- 45:20Speaker 1: and like just being with somebody for a long time,
- 45:23Speaker 1: and there's something about that that's so sad to me.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Like I'm like, I don't want to see people in
- 45:27Speaker 1: like a sad, horrible marriage, do you know what I mean? Yeah,
- 45:31Speaker 1: Like there's something so I'm like, I have mixed feelings
- 45:33Speaker 1: on it because like I haven't laughed that hard in
- 45:35Speaker 1: a movie theater in a long time. Like it is
- 45:39Speaker 1: so funny and they're comedic timing. Like to me, to
- 45:42Speaker 1: have that type of banter with Seth Rogan and Olivia Wilde,
- 45:45Speaker 1: to have that dynamic is very hard, and I feel
- 45:49Speaker 1: like they did it so perfectly, like literally laughing out loud,
- 45:52Speaker 1: but also with this like undertone of just yes.
- 45:56Speaker 3: And I don't think I like that.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Seem like you do?
- 46:01Speaker 3: I love yah.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. It's really it's like it's a tough
- 46:05Speaker 1: pickle that I'm in because I did find it so hilarious,
- 46:09Speaker 1: but also just like so sad and like I get
- 46:12Speaker 1: in the car and I internalize everything, and Robi's like, Babe,
- 46:16Speaker 1: this has nothing to do with us.
- 46:17Speaker 3: And I know.
- 46:18Speaker 1: I'm like God, and I go, I know, but we're
- 46:20Speaker 1: married and I don't ever want to become that, and
- 46:22Speaker 1: He's like, we're not going to and I'm like, but
- 46:24Speaker 1: I don't think they thought that they would become that,
- 46:26Speaker 1: you know, Like I internalize.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Oh, you like to make an effort in our marriage,
- 46:31Speaker 2: you know.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Yeah, that's I.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Think the key is if you get comfortable and let
- 46:35Speaker 2: it that happen, it happens.
- 46:36Speaker 3: I know.
- 46:37Speaker 1: But like with this couple in the movie, it just
- 46:39Speaker 1: like happened so slowly and then over time it just
- 46:43Speaker 1: you're strangers.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Thank you for ending the podcast on such a high note. Sorry, guys, No,
- 46:54Speaker 2: it's okay. I mean I'm gonna I want to go
- 46:57Speaker 2: see it. Oh, I was gonna say I did pottery
- 46:59Speaker 2: yesterday like a seram. Yeah, I'm so bad at it,
- 47:02Speaker 2: Like I'm just not watching the girl, the girl that
- 47:05Speaker 2: was like our teacher do it and everything she did
- 47:07Speaker 2: it was perfect, and then I'd be like, Okay, I've
- 47:11Speaker 2: tried to do it and just tough. But I kind
- 47:15Speaker 2: of I've been thinking about it this morning because at
- 47:18Speaker 2: first I was like, I don't think I need to
- 47:19Speaker 2: do it again, because I would, And that's my mentality
- 47:21Speaker 2: on everything. If I'm not immediately good at something, I'm
- 47:24Speaker 2: just like, oh, I don't think I want to do
- 47:25Speaker 2: it again.
- 47:25Speaker 3: And I'm like, what are you going to do? Make
- 47:26Speaker 3: pottery for like your house?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Yeah? Like what if I made plates for us? Like
