- 0:03Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
- 0:06Speaker 1: hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
- 0:09Speaker 1: Sophie Torber and coming up on today's show, Sammy Robinson
- 0:13Speaker 1: has a new man in her life, Michaela Tester's former
- 0:17Speaker 1: manager's bold statement, and Molly May talks about.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Baby number two.
- 0:22Speaker 1: But first, entrepreneur Michelle Battersby has revealed the very unorthodox
- 0:26Speaker 1: way that she eats a meat pie. The Sunroom founder
- 0:29Speaker 1: caused a stir online, revealing she's been eating it this.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Way her whole life.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I haven't actually eaten a meat pie since our SOS
- 0:36Speaker 3: teacher told us in year 11 what's in them. But
- 0:39Speaker 3: this almost made me want to test it out.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I was in that same classroom and he said
- 0:44Speaker 1: that there's assholes and hooves of the cows in there.
- 0:47Speaker 1: And the fetus, that is what really put me off.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I saw a TikTok the other day and someone found
- 0:53Speaker 1: what looked like an asshole in a very cheaply made pie.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I mean.
- 0:57Speaker 3: This whole conversation isn't meant to be putting people off
- 0:59Speaker 3: from eating pies because when Michelle ate this pie, it actually.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Looks so delicious.
- 1:04Speaker 3: So what she does is she firstly takes the lid
- 1:08Speaker 3: off the pie and eats that. So the pastry lid
- 1:11Speaker 3: And I think there's something to be said for people
- 1:13Speaker 3: who actually eat their pies like that. I remember growing up,
- 1:16Speaker 3: it would always be a particular girl that was quite
- 1:18Speaker 3: a perfectionist that would be able to pull the lid
- 1:20Speaker 3: off perfectly and then eat all the filling.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Out of it. I've heard of people peeling the sausage
- 1:24Speaker 1: roll and eating the pastry first and then the sausage bit,
- 1:27Speaker 1: which looked absolutely revolting. I'm sorry for that. Doesn't sound
- 1:30Speaker 1: appetizing to me. I want to get the pastry in
- 1:32Speaker 1: with the mixture.
- 1:34Speaker 3: You've got to wait. So anyway, she eats the lid
- 1:35Speaker 3: first and then she puts tomato sauce on the meat
- 1:38Speaker 3: and she eats all of the meat by itself.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Well, like with a fork or something.
- 1:42Speaker 3: But then she leaves a little bit of the meat
- 1:45Speaker 3: in the bottom of the pie and then she gets
- 1:47Speaker 3: a bag of light and tangy chips, crushes them up,
- 1:51Speaker 3: puts it in the pie and then eats it as
- 1:53Speaker 3: if it's like its own taco.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I mean, she's actually won me over with the light
- 1:57Speaker 1: and tangy chips. I feel like light and tangy chips
- 2:00Speaker 1: are a blast from the past. Aren't they the chip
- 2:01Speaker 1: that you'd have growing up.
- 2:02Speaker 2: As a child?
- 2:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a bit of a random chip though, because
- 2:05Speaker 1: people who make chip sandwiches, I often find they'll use
- 2:08Speaker 1: just an original plain chip. Do you remember back in
- 2:11Speaker 1: the day when Thins used to sell that multifamily pack
- 2:14Speaker 1: and one bag would be light and tangy and the
- 2:16Speaker 1: other one would be plain? You'd always go for the
- 2:18Speaker 1: light and tangy first. Yeah, this is giving me flashbacks.
- 2:20Speaker 2: And you'd get the Tarzo chip.
- 2:21Speaker 1: But also, I remember the bag.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Was mostly full of air. You know what I mean?
- 2:25Speaker 2: You hardly have any of them.
- 2:27Speaker 3: This hack actually reminds me of one of our family traditions,
- 2:29Speaker 3: which I grew up thinking was completely normal. So it's
- 2:31Speaker 3: vanilla ice cream with plain chips.
- 2:33Speaker 2: And they have to be plain chips.
- 2:35Speaker 1: They can't be a different flavor because it's the salty
- 2:37Speaker 1: and the sweet that goes together. I was talking about
- 2:39Speaker 1: this combo with my husband yesterday and his family, and.
- 2:42Speaker 2: They were like, that is so weird.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And I'm like, you guys have to try it.
- 2:46Speaker 2: It is elite.
- 2:47Speaker 1: This isn't a food combination, but we got St. Maxie
- 2:50Speaker 1: Bonds the other day. And I feel like you are
- 2:53Speaker 1: either a biscuit first or a chocolate and ice cream first.
- 2:57Speaker 1: And I judge people on which one they choose. I'm
- 2:59Speaker 1: trying to think what I do.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I think I eat the chocolate bit first because you
- 3:03Speaker 3: hold it with the biscuit. Really?
- 3:04Speaker 1: Well, I was disturbed because my husband told me that
- 3:06Speaker 1: he actually likes the chocolate side the best.
- 3:09Speaker 2: I like the biscuit.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I would prefer if the whole thing was just made
- 3:12Speaker 1: of biscuit.
- 3:12Speaker 3: See, I like both because the biscuit can sometimes get
- 3:15Speaker 3: a little bit soggy. I think if it's melted too much.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Another weird food combo I heard the other day from
- 3:20Speaker 1: my mother-in-law is that she grew up eating sugar and
- 3:23Speaker 1: apple sandwiches.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Hang on.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Do you mean stewed apples? Well, my understanding is that
- 3:27Speaker 1: she meant slices of apple that had sugar sprinkled on them.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Remember how our dad used to go to school with
- 3:32Speaker 1: sugar sandwiches? That was a huge thing back in the day.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I suppose it's like hundreds and thousands.
- 3:35Speaker 2: God, it'd be bloody easy to pack that.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Do you remember the controversy? I think it was probably
- 3:39Speaker 3: like six months ago now when we spoke about that
- 3:42Speaker 3: influencer mum who froze her sandwiches. We pissed off a
- 3:46Speaker 3: lot of people talking about that.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I want to know our listeners' crazy food combos though.
- 3:50Speaker 1: We will put up a question box on Instagram. Send
- 3:53Speaker 1: yours in and it would be fun to try some.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I'm just working from home today.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And I found the hot test buns in Biscoffs.
- 4:03Speaker 4: They're so good.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Sammy Robinson has a new man in her life. The
- 4:08Speaker 1: fashion designer's new influencer, Beau, soft launched the blossoming.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Romance on his Instagram.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Now, this wasn't your typical soft launch. No, he didn't
- 4:16Speaker 1: just casually post Sammy in the background of an Instagram
- 4:20Speaker 1: story or in a photo dump. He made a cryptic
- 4:23Speaker 1: or not so cryptic reel about her. Now, the new
- 4:25Speaker 1: guy in question is a fitness influencer called Sam Cameron.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And all I could think about is the fact that
- 4:31Speaker 1: they pretty much have the same name, Sam and Sammy.
- 4:34Speaker 1: This is another influencer couple with matching names.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Who's the other matching one?
- 4:38Speaker 1: Sophie Keisha and Sophie Vanderhoeven.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Remember they have the same name? Oh yeah, I suppose.
- 4:43Speaker 3: I mean, at least with Sammy, she's Sammy and he
- 4:45Speaker 3: can be Sam or Samantha and Samuel.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I would hate to date someone with the same name
- 4:50Speaker 1: as me. It reminds me a bit of a conversation
- 4:51Speaker 1: we were having the other day about certain names that
- 4:54Speaker 1: you just don't like and that makes you think differently
- 4:57Speaker 1: about a person i hate the name and i'm sorry
- 4:59Speaker 1: if anyone's partner or anyone listening has this name tristan
- 5:03Speaker 1: and it is because one boy at school who i
- 5:06Speaker 1: won't go into but he had the name and you
- 5:07Speaker 1: know when someone puts you off from primary.
- 5:09Speaker 3: School there's a lot of names like that that you
- 5:11Speaker 3: just have to when you're coming up with a baby
- 5:13Speaker 3: name cross them off i think when it comes to
- 5:15Speaker 3: partners though It's a little bit different because it's not
- 5:18Speaker 3: like you're actually choosing the name. And I think we
- 5:20Speaker 3: can all sit here and go, I'd never dated Tristan.
- 5:22Speaker 3: But I mean, if some hot guy that you got
- 5:24Speaker 3: on really well with was called that, you probably would
- 5:26Speaker 3: turn a blind eye.
- 5:27Speaker 2: We get a new association, don't you?
- 5:29Speaker 1: Remember Sophie, you went on a date with a guy
- 5:31Speaker 1: called Dwayne and there was just something about that name.
- 5:34Speaker 2: It's an instant turn off. Yeah. There was another guy
- 5:36Speaker 2: I dated briefly called Darren. And again, I was like,
- 5:40Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm feeling the name, like Darren
- 5:42Speaker 2: and Dwayne.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It's a bit like when you're deciding on children's names too.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Like some names sound really cute as a baby. But
- 5:48Speaker 1: if you're like, oh, I'm dating a guy called Bear and.
- 5:51Speaker 2: He's in his 30s. I don't know. Does it work?
- 5:53Speaker 1: Getting back to the two Sams, it's quite interesting because
- 5:57Speaker 1: Sam used to work as a full-time industrial electrician until
- 6:00Speaker 1: he quit his job two years ago to pursue a
- 6:03Speaker 1: career in content creation. So he launched an online coaching platform.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Red flags.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Well, yeah, he's this really buff fitness guy. He now
- 6:11Speaker 1: has over 47,000 followers. And last week is when he.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Did this soft launch.
- 6:16Speaker 1: So he uploaded a reel of him walking into frame
- 6:19Speaker 1: wearing just orange and yellow Speedo.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Red flag again. He was showing off his six pack.
- 6:24Speaker 1: And over the top of this vision, the caption said,
- 6:28Speaker 1: working hard so that my future wife can run her
- 6:30Speaker 1: successful clothing company. And I don't feel insecure for not
- 6:33Speaker 1: being able to equally financially provide for our family.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I don't mean to be that person, but what work
- 6:38Speaker 3: was he actually doing in the room other than looking hot?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Well, yeah, it was very confusing because underneath one person wrote,
- 6:44Speaker 1: I don't get it. How is walking out of your
- 6:46Speaker 1: unit in Speedos helping your future wife?
- 6:49Speaker 2: Did I miss something? Because maybe if he had shown
- 6:51Speaker 2: himself training.
- 6:52Speaker 1: A group of people or actually working, it.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Would have made sense.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I was like, is this just an excuse to get
- 6:57Speaker 1: your budgie smugglers out? It's like, I'm staying hot so
- 6:59Speaker 1: I can get lots of followers on Instagram.
- 7:01Speaker 2: To continue this lifestyle.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Well, maybe he means working hard, like working out.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It made no sense.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And immediately, super sleuths were like, well, this must be
- 7:09Speaker 1: about Sammy Robinson. Obviously, she's got her clothing brand One Mile.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And over the past few weeks, Sam has actually popped
- 7:16Speaker 1: up in Sammy's photo dumps. So in one photo, she
- 7:19Speaker 1: had Sam in the background of a photo of her
- 7:21Speaker 1: and one of her friends. And then in another, he
- 7:24Speaker 1: was sitting next to her at the beach again with
- 7:26Speaker 1: another group of friends. So it wasn't completely obvious.
- 7:29Speaker 3: And it didn't take long for Sam's friends to weigh
- 7:31Speaker 3: in and drop further clues. One friend wrote, keep grinding
- 7:34Speaker 3: one mile at a time, bro, referring to Sammy's brand
- 7:37Speaker 3: One Mile, while another said one mile closer each time.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Another joked, this is a fairly vague post, bro.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Can you elaborate, please?
- 7:46Speaker 3: And others excitedly asked if it was a soft launch.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I wonder how Sammy felt about that. Because it kind
- 7:51Speaker 1: of comes across.
- 7:51Speaker 2: As he's using her for clout.
- 7:53Speaker 1: It comes across as very strong to call someone your
- 7:55Speaker 1: future wife. Like I know it's a bit of a joke,
- 7:57Speaker 1: but it almost makes you think, oh, are you using
- 8:00Speaker 1: her for.
- 8:01Speaker 2: The clout and for the money?
- 8:02Speaker 3: I mean, I was joking about it before, but there
- 8:04Speaker 3: are far too many red flags here. The fact that
- 8:06Speaker 3: he is saying, you know, love bobbing her essentially saying
- 8:09Speaker 3: my future wife. And then ultimately using her for clout
- 8:13Speaker 3: and engagement.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I know this Sam guy already has a bit of
- 8:15Speaker 1: a following, but do you think in 2025 that people
- 8:18Speaker 1: can actually build an influencer career off the back of
- 8:21Speaker 1: dating somebody?
- 8:22Speaker 3: No, I think it's oversaturated now because look at Matt Sikowsky.
- 8:26Speaker 3: He is dating Tammy Hembrough, who is one of the
- 8:28Speaker 3: most followed people in Australia. I think she's got over
- 8:31Speaker 3: like 16 or 17 million followers. He's sitting at around 150,000. Yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 3: it hasn't gone up much.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Which is what he was on when he was on
- 8:39Speaker 1: Love Island. Like that hasn't come from her. And then
- 8:41Speaker 1: you've got Saffron Barker, the UK influencer who has been
- 8:45Speaker 1: splashing her new boyfriend everywhere. He's this gorgeous model. You
- 8:49Speaker 1: think that her followers would want to, you know, see
- 8:52Speaker 1: what he's up to. And he's only sitting around like
- 8:54Speaker 1: the 10,000 K mark. Because if you think back in
- 8:57Speaker 1: the day, for example, when Jonathan Sauer started dating Shani Grimmon,
- 9:01Speaker 1: he was.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Inundated with followers.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Like His proximity to Sharni made him an influencer. He
- 9:07Speaker 1: was able to quit his job, but you don't see
- 9:09Speaker 1: this happening as much anymore.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's lost all of them, even though he's
- 9:11Speaker 3: dating Madison Woolley, who apparently has nearly 700,000 followers.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I'm that loser, though, that does follow people's boyfriends. I
- 9:18Speaker 1: immediately went and followed Sammy's boyfriend, but then I saw
- 9:21Speaker 1: he was sharing a lot of that motivational fitness content
- 9:26Speaker 1: that I was like, I kind of didn't want it
- 9:27Speaker 1: popping up and my husband seeing it because it was
- 9:29Speaker 1: a lot of, as we say, him walking around in
- 9:31Speaker 1: speedos with his top off.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I was like, I don't know what's his hand but this.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Guy is definitely a bit of Sammy so he's tall
- 9:39Speaker 1: dark and he appears to have a New Zealand accent
- 9:43Speaker 1: it's very much her recent type isn't it he is
- 9:47Speaker 1: very much her type they look really good together I'm
- 9:49Speaker 1: excited to see where this goes but she hasn't had
- 9:51Speaker 1: much luck with relationships which is why I think she
- 9:54Speaker 1: leaves them offline so the fact that he's trying to
- 9:56Speaker 1: now get engagement offer oh I don't think it's going
- 9:59Speaker 1: to last. I think there's nothing more unattractive than a
- 10:01Speaker 1: guy being really big on socials, you know, like let
- 10:04Speaker 1: her post a couple photo of you first before you're
- 10:07Speaker 1: looking so thirsty that you're trying to drop it.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I didn't like that.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Any guys that are listening to this single, People want
- 10:12Speaker 1: to see more than the photo of you and a
- 10:14Speaker 1: fish from 10 years ago, but not too much where
- 10:16Speaker 1: you seem too keen.
- 10:18Speaker 2: No speedo videos.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I think maybe a couple of posts each year and
- 10:21Speaker 3: that's it.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Well, unless you're trying.
- 10:23Speaker 2: To become an influencer. But that in itself is a
- 10:26Speaker 2: bit of an ick.
- 10:29Speaker 4: I've been having a lot of thoughts recently about baby
- 10:32Speaker 4: number two and more babies. And I get asked when
- 10:34Speaker 4: I put those question boxes up, that's like another huge
- 10:37Speaker 4: thing that like always gets asked about. It's like baby
- 10:39Speaker 4: number two, what's your thoughts?
- 10:42Speaker 1: As we edge closer to the release date of part
- 10:44Speaker 1: two of Molly Mae's Tell All doco, rumors she's reconciled
- 10:48Speaker 1: with her former fiance Tommy Fury are getting stronger. Yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 1: because this time they have been caught out enjoying a
- 10:54Speaker 1: romantic weekend away at the river with their daughter Bambi.
- 10:57Speaker 1: So last Wednesday, Molly shared a photo dump which she
- 11:00Speaker 1: titled The Favorites Album. And amongst the photos, there was
- 11:04Speaker 1: a picture of her rugged up sitting next to the
- 11:06Speaker 1: river drinking a cup of tea. Now on Monday, Tommy
- 11:10Speaker 1: shared his own photo dump with the caption, life's been
- 11:13Speaker 1: looking up with a love heart emoji. And I saw
- 11:16Speaker 1: in the comment section, everyone's like, yeah, of course it's
- 11:18Speaker 1: looking up. Molly Mae's taking you back. Now within this
- 11:21Speaker 1: photo dump, there was a picture of him sitting beside
- 11:24Speaker 1: a very similar looking river on a boat wearing a
- 11:28Speaker 1: life jacket. And if this wasn't enough of a clue,
- 11:31Speaker 1: Molly previously had posted a photo to her Instagram story
- 11:34Speaker 1: of her wearing an identical life jacket. Yeah, so it's
- 11:37Speaker 1: very clear that they have spent the weekend together. Molly
- 11:40Speaker 1: seemed to be really gushing about what a wonderful weekend
- 11:43Speaker 1: it was because she subsequently shared a photo of Bambi
- 11:46Speaker 1: sitting in the car with the caption, weekends like the
- 11:49Speaker 1: one we just had, couldn't ask for anything more. They
- 11:51Speaker 1: really have been gradually dropping hints. And I think it
- 11:54Speaker 1: is all gearing up to the big reveal on Molly's documentary,
- 11:58Speaker 1: which is set to be released in spring. Well, I
- 12:00Speaker 1: saw a recent vlog that Molly put up and she
- 12:03Speaker 1: doesn't even appear to know the air date yet. She
- 12:05Speaker 1: said they're still filming at the moment. If these rumors
- 12:08Speaker 1: are true, though, it appears that the Prime video crew
- 12:11Speaker 1: have been capturing this reunion for us because it was
- 12:13Speaker 1: reported last month that the film crew captured their Valentine's
- 12:18Speaker 1: Day getaway, which was at a manor. And the couple
- 12:20Speaker 1: have stayed there before. It's one of Molly's favorite getaways.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I mean, why else would she be.
- 12:24Speaker 2: There on Valentine's Day?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Yeah, well, it was quite interesting because in this recent
- 12:28Speaker 1: vlog of Molly's, she also spoke about the possibility of
- 12:31Speaker 1: having a second series of her documentary. So I suppose
- 12:34Speaker 1: it wouldn't be so much of a documentary. She said
- 12:36Speaker 1: it would be more of a reality show.
- 12:38Speaker 2: And she was- Or about their wedding?
- 12:40Speaker 1: Well, she was basically asking her audience, is this something
- 12:42Speaker 1: you'd like to see? Because she was concerned that maybe
- 12:46Speaker 1: if she did another series that people would lose interest
- 12:49Speaker 1: and maybe they wouldn't watch her YouTube videos anymore. And
- 12:52Speaker 1: she said that The only way she would do a
- 12:54Speaker 1: second series was if it made sense and there was
- 12:57Speaker 1: some form of storyline. She's like, people don't want to
- 12:59Speaker 1: see me just sitting around with Bambi. And I thought
- 13:01Speaker 1: the same thing. I bet if there's a wedding on
- 13:04Speaker 1: the cards, we will see series two of this. Also,
- 13:07Speaker 1: just having the two of them together on camera adds
- 13:10Speaker 1: a new element to it. I think that's what the
- 13:13Speaker 1: series is missing currently. Now, Molly stoked the flames even
- 13:17Speaker 1: further in a Q & A that she uploaded to
- 13:19Speaker 1: YouTube on Monday.
- 13:21Speaker 2: She was really upbeat.
- 13:22Speaker 1: In this video and she even commented that her happiness
- 13:25Speaker 1: levels have been spiking recently.
- 13:27Speaker 2: There is so much breadcrumbing going on.
- 13:29Speaker 1: She went on to say, there's been a crazy amount
- 13:32Speaker 1: of ups and downs over the last year, but currently
- 13:34Speaker 1: I'm feeling really, really happy and the glimmers of my
- 13:37Speaker 1: true old self are coming back. I felt genuinely happy
- 13:40Speaker 1: for Molly when I saw her acting like this. I
- 13:42Speaker 1: know some people were saying, oh, this is.
- 13:44Speaker 2: A publicity stunt.
- 13:45Speaker 1: But as we've discussed previously, I do not believe this
- 13:48Speaker 1: is a publicity stunt.
- 13:48Speaker 2: No, I don't think it is for a minute.
- 13:50Speaker 1: In a very bold move in this Q & A,
- 13:52Speaker 1: Molly answered a follower's question about when she plans to
- 13:55Speaker 1: have a second baby, which.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Soaked the fire even more. Yeah, I'm surprised she touched
- 14:00Speaker 2: on it. Yeah, this is what she said.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Not really in a position right now to sit here
- 14:05Speaker 4: and talk about baby number two and, like, more babies, like,
- 14:08Speaker 4: after the last year that my relationship has gone through. But, like,
- 14:12Speaker 4: besides all of that and, like, if you take the
- 14:15Speaker 4: relationship and like me and Tommy like out of it
- 14:17Speaker 4: for a second like I think a lot a lot
- 14:20Speaker 4: a lot about baby number two and more babies and
- 14:23Speaker 4: like thoughts and feelings in regards to it and me
- 14:25Speaker 4: and my best friend Taylor we talk about it all
- 14:28Speaker 4: of the time and like I don't know I think
- 14:31Speaker 4: it's something that like I do want to speak about
- 14:33Speaker 4: a little bit because I feel like it's another thing
- 14:36Speaker 4: that's in my mind all the time just like circulating
- 14:38Speaker 4: like how am I meant to feel about it because
- 14:40Speaker 4: I do worry that sometimes how I do feel about
- 14:42Speaker 4: it isn't like how I view I should feel about it,
- 14:46Speaker 4: if that makes sense.
- 14:48Speaker 1: She went on to say that she found the newborn
- 14:50Speaker 1: stage unbelievably difficult but joked that she would happily handle
- 14:54Speaker 1: 102-year-olds like Bambi if she could skip the newborn stage.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Not what you want to hear as an expectant mother.
- 14:59Speaker 2: When you're waiting for that.
- 15:00Speaker 1: It's quite interesting because I remember when Tommy and Molly
- 15:03Speaker 1: were still together and That was when Molly was saying,
- 15:06Speaker 1: maybe this is it. Maybe we will only have one baby.
- 15:09Speaker 1: But it's interesting now that, you know, maybe she's trying
- 15:12Speaker 1: to get Tommy back or vice versa, that she's open
- 15:14Speaker 1: to having more kids.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I don't think it's that.
- 15:16Speaker 1: I think it's because Bambi's at an age where Molly's
- 15:18Speaker 1: really enjoying.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Time with her. Yeah, I understand that.
- 15:20Speaker 1: But for Tommy, clearly he wants, I mean, he said
- 15:23Speaker 1: he'd have 10 kids with her if he wanted to.
- 15:25Speaker 1: I just worry that you've broken up, you know, there's
- 15:29Speaker 1: obviously issues with alcohol and then a patch over it
- 15:33Speaker 1: isn't having another child well the reason she said she
- 15:35Speaker 1: potentially wanted a second child was she wants Bambi to
- 15:38Speaker 1: have a sister because she has a very special relationship
- 15:41Speaker 1: with her sister Zoe and she said that's the thing
- 15:44Speaker 1: that makes her feel really bad like she would hate
- 15:46Speaker 1: for Bambi not to have that special relationship what a
- 15:49Speaker 1: weird thing to talk about when you're supposed to be
- 15:51Speaker 1: broken up with your partner even the fact that she
- 15:53Speaker 1: was referring in this Q & A to my relationship
- 15:56Speaker 1: is a clear sign that they're back together because wouldn't
- 15:59Speaker 1: you say my past relationship or shut it down and
- 16:03Speaker 1: say that you're single and it's not something.
- 16:04Speaker 2: That you're thinking about.
- 16:05Speaker 1: This is like soft launching this relationship.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I mean, unrelated.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Did you also see this week that Molly had to
- 16:13Speaker 1: update her passport photo? So she has had the same
- 16:17Speaker 1: passport photo for the last 10 years. But when I
- 16:20Speaker 1: heard this, it shocked me. She was like, yeah, the
- 16:21Speaker 1: last photo that was taken was when I was 15.
- 16:23Speaker 2: That blew my mind. Oh, that's right. She's only 25.
- 16:26Speaker 1: But I feel like you're not allowed to actually travel
- 16:29Speaker 1: on a photo of you as a child.
- 16:30Speaker 3: No, you are.
- 16:31Speaker 1: If you think back to it.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I thought maybe as soon as you turned 18, even
- 16:35Speaker 1: if you had to go to update the photo or something. Well,
- 16:38Speaker 1: she still looked older than 15 in the photo. Some
- 16:41Speaker 1: people look drastically young at 15. Like I don't think
- 16:45Speaker 1: when I was 25 I was travelling with my passport
- 16:47Speaker 1: from when I was 15. Well, it depends when you
- 16:50Speaker 1: renewed your passport or when you got it. It reminds
- 16:52Speaker 1: me of Patsy on Absolutely Fabulous when she has that
- 16:55Speaker 1: passport photo from her 20s and she's like 50.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Tickets and passports, please. Is this upper class?
- 17:00Speaker 1: This is upper class.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Adam, I just want to know, when was this photo taken? Oh,
- 17:03Speaker 2: it's very recent.
- 17:04Speaker 4: It's very recent.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 17:06Speaker 3: It's your boarding classes now.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Have a good flight today.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Bye. Bye.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Check in.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Kiara Dorough has accused her former podcast host, Ashley Bynes,
- 17:16Speaker 1: of owing her money. The revelation came as the mummy
- 17:19Speaker 1: vlogger revealed she's contemplating uploading a tell-all YouTube about the saga.
- 17:24Speaker 1: This drama just keeps on going. We have been covering
- 17:27Speaker 1: this story in depth since November. If you're not all
- 17:31Speaker 1: across it, go back and listen to some of the episodes.
- 17:33Speaker 1: But from a top line level, Kiara and Ashley have
- 17:36Speaker 1: been feuding ever since Kiara left their podcast and Ashley
- 17:39Speaker 1: rebranded and got.
- 17:40Speaker 2: A new co-host.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yeah. So this week, Kiara dished some more dirt during
- 17:45Speaker 1: a recent Instagram Q & A. So a follower asked
- 17:48Speaker 1: her if she was going to do a YouTube tell-all
- 17:51Speaker 1: like she originally promised. Now, Kiara revealed that while she
- 17:55Speaker 1: had pulled the pin on doing it, she now has
- 17:57Speaker 1: mixed emotions. She wrote, I keep trying to give the
- 18:00Speaker 1: other person the benefit of the doubt, but behind the scenes,
- 18:03Speaker 1: it is being made very difficult. I've been left to
- 18:06Speaker 1: look after a lot of the mess and cleaning everything
- 18:09Speaker 1: up myself, ending the business, closing accounts, paying bills, et cetera,
- 18:13Speaker 1: because I don't want to get myself.
- 18:15Speaker 2: In any trouble.
- 18:16Speaker 1: She then wanted to say that she is still owed
- 18:19Speaker 1: payments from October and complained that it's been difficult to
- 18:23Speaker 1: move on from her business relationship with Ashi when she
- 18:26Speaker 1: won't help finalize things. She went on to say, I
- 18:29Speaker 1: also really pride myself in honesty and authenticity.
- 18:32Speaker 2: So then throw in the flat out.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Lies being told just makes me so angry. I'm a
- 18:36Speaker 1: human being, so of course I have moments of big
- 18:39Speaker 1: emotions and feeling like I want to go off, lol,
- 18:41Speaker 1: especially when I'm trying to move on, but things keep
- 18:44Speaker 1: popping up. Whether that be lies told in another episode
- 18:47Speaker 1: or bank situations I'm trying to fix. I wonder if
- 18:51Speaker 1: this situation has been taken to Ashley's legal team yet.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I mean, it's pretty big to accuse someone of owing
- 18:56Speaker 1: you money. I just think as we touched on Tuesday,
- 18:59Speaker 1: people are getting sick of this. Yeah, it's kind of
- 19:02Speaker 1: just weighing into the weeds and getting very petty. I
- 19:04Speaker 1: totally feel for Kiara though, if she is owed a
- 19:07Speaker 1: large sum of money and it's very difficult if someone
- 19:10Speaker 1: won't play the game.
- 19:11Speaker 2: And get back to you.
- 19:12Speaker 1: These are all allegations though. We don't actually know whether
- 19:15Speaker 1: this is true, but I do think this needs to
- 19:17Speaker 1: be taken offline because we don't really need the court
- 19:21Speaker 1: of public opinion on this. As people said, they're already
- 19:23Speaker 1: aware of the relationship breakdown.
- 19:25Speaker 2: People have made up their minds about it. I don't
- 19:27Speaker 2: think it's helping going into the weeds even further.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I wanted to wait until the podcast to release this
- 19:34Speaker 1: information because it's just so sad, sick and fucked up.
- 19:36Speaker 3: And I just, I'm afraid that you guys aren't ready
- 19:39Speaker 3: to hear something like this.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Michaela Tester's former manager, Alicia McKenzie, made a bold statement
- 19:45Speaker 1: this week. She was spotted dining at Nobu in Malibu
- 19:48Speaker 1: with none other than Michaela's former friend, Karina Koff. Now
- 19:52Speaker 1: I say spotted, but it was Karina who wanted everyone
- 19:56Speaker 1: to know about it. posting their spread of sushi to
- 19:58Speaker 1: her Instagram story and also tagging Alicia. Now to put
- 20:02Speaker 1: this all into perspective, it was just a couple of
- 20:04Speaker 1: weeks ago when Karina Koff publicly accused Michaela Testa of
- 20:08Speaker 1: lying about the Paul family. In a brutal Instagram takedown,
- 20:12Speaker 1: Karina labeled Michaela as a pathological liar as well as
- 20:15Speaker 1: a narcissist and manipulative. She went on to say, ask
- 20:18Speaker 1: anyone who has ever come into contact with her and
- 20:21Speaker 1: I promise you, they will say the exact same thing.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Since I met her two years ago, she has not
- 20:25Speaker 1: had one consistent person in her life. Every single person
- 20:28Speaker 1: has come and gone. It's everyone else who is the
- 20:31Speaker 1: fucked up friend who is the common denominator here. Now,
- 20:34Speaker 1: I feel like this is a new thing to get
- 20:36Speaker 1: back at your former bestie because back in November, a
- 20:38Speaker 1: bunch of Ashley Bynes' former best friends shared that they
- 20:41Speaker 1: were catching up over dinner. It's literally code for we're
- 20:43Speaker 1: gossiping about you and want everyone on the internet to
- 20:45Speaker 1: know about it. To be fair, I could imagine pulling
- 20:48Speaker 1: this move in my early 20s. Mm.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Like, you know, when you're a bit immature and you're like, oh,
- 20:53Speaker 2: this will be so funny. We'll get back at them
- 20:55Speaker 2: this way.
- 20:56Speaker 1: But as a 30, well, someone in their mid-30s looking
- 20:59Speaker 1: at this, you're like, oh, it's a bit pathetic.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Stop doing that.
- 21:02Speaker 3: I actually like it because you say so much without
- 21:05Speaker 3: saying anything because what is happening here is people are like, oh,
- 21:09Speaker 3: hang on, is there a little bit of truth to
- 21:11Speaker 3: what Karina Koff is saying? Because why would her manager
- 21:14Speaker 3: and former best friend suddenly be dining with her?
- 21:17Speaker 1: So this Alicia, I remember– she got invited to a
- 21:21Speaker 1: White Fox boutique trip, I think when Coachella was on
- 21:23Speaker 1: and Michaela was supposed to go with her, but she
- 21:26Speaker 1: couldn't get into the country.
- 21:27Speaker 2: She had all of that ordeal.
- 21:28Speaker 1: She couldn't get through security and she ended up being
- 21:31Speaker 1: taken back to Australia. And from what I remember at
- 21:34Speaker 1: the time, it seemed like Michaela would spend a lot
- 21:36Speaker 1: of money on Alicia and buy her a lot of gifts.
- 21:39Speaker 1: And I got the vibe, I'm like, Alicia seems to
- 21:41Speaker 1: be taking a lot from this relationship. So I do
- 21:44Speaker 1: question whether it's an instance where Maybe when you're an
- 21:47Speaker 1: influencer and you've got money, there are some friends that
- 21:49Speaker 1: are out to use you. So maybe I wouldn't say
- 21:52Speaker 1: necessarily that Michaela is the common denominator here.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Well, we don't really know what's gone on behind the
- 21:56Speaker 3: scenes there. But in terms of that trip, Alicia was
- 21:58Speaker 3: traveling with Michaela as her manager. And then she continued
- 22:02Speaker 3: on to the US and actually took Michaela's spot on
- 22:06Speaker 3: that trip.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it seemed like she almost wanted to be a
- 22:08Speaker 1: bit of an influencer herself because she.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Kept appearing in the videos.
- 22:11Speaker 1: You know how there's always so much competition between Gen
- 22:14Speaker 1: Zers and millennials? I actually think this is a very
- 22:16Speaker 1: millennial thing to do.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it is. I mean, I want to know what's
- 22:20Speaker 3: happened because this falling out must have been pretty recent
- 22:22Speaker 3: because Alicia was actually listed as Michaela's co-host in an
- 22:26Speaker 3: upcoming podcast series about her relationship with the Paul family.
- 22:30Speaker 3: So something has clearly happened in the last couple of weeks.
- 22:32Speaker 3: So her name has now been removed from that podcast.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Are we going to see Anna Paul out dining with
- 22:37Speaker 2: them soon? Well, I think that will happen.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I was going to say the Pauls must be
- 22:41Speaker 1: loving all of this because it's not painting Michaela in
- 22:43Speaker 1: the best light.
- 22:44Speaker 3: I sadly think it's a matter of time before the
- 22:46Speaker 3: internet just turns on Michaela Tester and everyone's pro-Anna Paul again.
- 22:50Speaker 1: We spoke about this a little bit when we were
- 22:51Speaker 1: talking about Ashley Bynes and all her dramas, that it
- 22:54Speaker 1: becomes a point where people share too much online and
- 22:57Speaker 1: it really muddies the water. Well, people are like, I'll
- 22:59Speaker 1: get over it. But I actually don't think that that's
- 23:00Speaker 1: going to happen in this instance.
- 23:02Speaker 2: I disagree.
- 23:02Speaker 1: I think once we hear more of what Michaela went
- 23:06Speaker 1: through in her relationship with Addis Paul, she's already made
- 23:08Speaker 1: some very serious allegations about him. I think that people
- 23:11Speaker 1: are going to 100% side with Michaela. I mean, if
- 23:14Speaker 1: you look at Anna Paul's comment section, it is brutal
- 23:17Speaker 1: at the moment.
- 23:17Speaker 3: I think the fact that the podcast has been delayed
- 23:19Speaker 3: for quite a number of weeks since all of this
- 23:21Speaker 3: went down isn't helping Michaela out though, because originally she said, oh,
- 23:25Speaker 3: the podcast is launching next week. And it's probably been,
- 23:28Speaker 3: I don't know, like a month since all that drama hit.
- 23:31Speaker 3: So I think that she needed to capitalize on the
- 23:33Speaker 3: attention because People get to a point on the internet
- 23:36Speaker 3: where they're like, oh, I'm over this.
- 23:37Speaker 2: This is boring. Just shut up.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Well, she did drop about Anna Paul's treatment or alleged
- 23:41Speaker 1: treatment of her birds.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Yeah, she's breadcrumbing there. Yeah. So there's been a bit
- 23:46Speaker 2: of breadcrumbing. But as you say, you don't want it
- 23:47Speaker 2: to be a point where people are like, oh, get
- 23:49Speaker 2: over it and move on. Particularly because she is engaged
- 23:52Speaker 2: to someone else now.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Well, that's where we're going to leave things today. Thank
- 23:55Speaker 3: you for listening to another episode of Outspoken. If you
- 23:57Speaker 3: do enjoy the show, please leave us a review. And
- 24:00Speaker 3: don't forget to share where you're listening from. I love
- 24:03Speaker 3: seeing those pop up on Instagram stories. This podcast was
- 24:06Speaker 3: recorded on the traditional land of the Kaurna people of
- 24:08Speaker 3: the Adelaide Plains. We pay respect to elders past and present.
