  Speaker 1: the Test, Genesis thirty nine twenty through twenty two says

  Speaker 1: but while Joseph was there in the prison, the Lord
• 0:15
  Speaker 1: was with him. He showed him the kindness and granted
• 0:19
  Speaker 1: him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. So
• 0:22
  Speaker 1: the warden put Joseph in charge of all of those
• 0:26
  Speaker 1: held in the prison, and he was made responsible for
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: all that was done there. You know, when we read
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: Joseph's story, it's easy to celebrate the part where he
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: becomes second in command over all of Egypt, but we
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: forget the process that got him there. Joseph's journey was
• 0:47
  Speaker 1: filled with betrayal, false accusations, disappointments, and long seasons of waiting.

  Speaker 1: He was sold by his own brothers, carried away as
• 0:58
  Speaker 1: a slave, and later thrown in to prison for something
• 1:01
  Speaker 1: he didn't even do. For many, that would have been
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: enough to break their spirits and silence their faith, But
• 1:09
  Speaker 1: Joseph kept trusting God in spite of He stayed faithful
• 1:13
  Speaker 1: even in the dark places. He chose to honor God
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: with his attitude and his actions even when life wasn't fair.

  Speaker 1: What Joseph didn't realize was that every difficulty was a test,
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: a preparation ground for the destiny God had already written
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: for him. The pit, the palace, and the prison were
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: all stepping stones. God was shaping his character. God was
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: teaching him humility. God was strengthening his faith and proving
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: that he could be trusted with influence. If Joseph had
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: given up in discouragement or grown bitter in prison, he
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: might have fortified the blessing. But in sad he stayed consistent,
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: and in do time, Come on, do Time, God elevated him.

  Speaker 1: See you may feel like you're in one of those
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: testing seasons right now. The doors haven't opened yet, the
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: prayers haven't been answered the way that you had hoped,
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: or perhaps you've been treated unfairly. It's tempting to complain
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: or lose heart. But remember the test is not to
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: defeat you. It's to develop you. The very thing that
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: feels like a setback maybe the place where God is
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: refining you, where God is preparing you for a promotion
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: that you can't even see yet. How you respond in
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: these moments matter. Will you stay faithful? Will you keep serving?
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: Will you keep showing kindness? Will you keep trusting God?
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: Joseph's breakthrough came not because everything went smoothly, but because
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: he passed the test of character and faith. And the
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: same God who's with Joseph in the prison is with
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: you today no matter what you're going through. Father, Thank
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: you that you are the most high God, and that
• 3:11
  Speaker 1: you are with us in every season of our lives.

  Speaker 1: Thank you that the challenges we face are not wasted,
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: but are shaping us for the future that you prepared
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: for us. Help us to stay faithful, to keep a
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: right attitude, and to trust that You're working all things
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: for our goods. God, Let us pass it for tests
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: and be ready for the greater things that you have
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: in store for our lives. In Jesus name. Hey, now
