1 Peter 4:1-11 - Serving in the End Times
Being a Christian is so much more than just proclaiming the name of Jesus. It also includes following or imitating the life of Jesus Christ, even in suffering. Peter tells his dispersed Church to consider the fact that Jesus suffered for us in the flesh. Therefore, the Church should arm ourselves with the same mind and live the rest of our lives in the flesh, for the will of God and not for the lusts of men. This should be even more so, seeing that the end of all things is at hand.
