- 0:00Speaker 1: Live from the w o R Life Back studios. Will
- 0:04Speaker 1: Mark Simon show, Well.
- 0:09Speaker 2: We got a lot to get to this hour. We'll
- 0:11Speaker 2: get to a little Fauci. The little worm is in
- 0:13Speaker 2: big trouble. Now we'll get to Iran and we'll get
- 0:17Speaker 2: to a whole lot more. And who does Trump really
- 0:20Speaker 2: want his vice president? There's some evidence as to who
- 0:23Speaker 2: his pick is. We'll get to that coming up. Oh,
- 0:26Speaker 2: I'm looking at I'm watching MSNBC ms Now as they
- 0:32Speaker 2: call it. They put this on the screen today at
- 0:36Speaker 2: twelve noon, Exclusive interview with Senator Elizabeth Warren. I was
- 0:42Speaker 2: planning to go to lunch with some people, but I
- 0:44Speaker 2: think I'm going to cancel that. I want to sit
- 0:45Speaker 2: and stay home and see this. An exclusive interview with
- 0:51Speaker 2: Elizabeth warnings because nobody else asked her who the who
- 0:54Speaker 2: the hell on the air, but they put this up
- 0:56Speaker 2: on the screen. Is that this is the crazy world
- 0:59Speaker 2: they play to. There are people who actually call each
- 1:03Speaker 2: other twelve today Elizabeth Warren, good watch this if you
- 1:07Speaker 2: call call him at the twelve one. I can't talk.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I'm watching Elizabeth Warren on ms NOW. Anyway, the little
- 1:14Speaker 2: Worm Fauci is there is now a criminal referral on
- 1:18Speaker 2: him for contempt of Congress. Rand Paul got it done.
- 1:22Speaker 2: He's sending it over to the Department of Justice. And
- 1:25Speaker 2: normally you never know what's going to happen, but this
- 1:27Speaker 2: is the Trump Department of Justice. I bet they act
- 1:30Speaker 2: on it. I bet they do something about it. We're
- 1:32Speaker 2: waiting for the results from his phone. They got ahold
- 1:36Speaker 2: of his phone from the pandemic era. All those texts
- 1:39Speaker 2: will come at you know how, you already demanded the
- 1:42Speaker 2: Epstein files, which, by the way, you should go online
- 1:45Speaker 2: and read. It's fascinating reading the Epstein files has everything,
- 1:49Speaker 2: all of his emails and all of the text from
- 1:52Speaker 2: his phone, and it's all his credit card bills. It's
- 1:55Speaker 2: really interesting to read through. So I can't wait to
- 1:57Speaker 2: see the Fauci files. And let's see if CNN or
- 2:02Speaker 2: MS now demand the release of the Fauci files and
- 2:04Speaker 2: the phone contents. Hey, in Michigan, this El Sayad, apparently
- 2:09Speaker 2: it's going to get very, very very aggressive. This El Sayad,
- 2:15Speaker 2: doctor Abdul l Sayad. He's the Mamdannie of Michigan. Something
- 2:19Speaker 2: even worse is running against Mike Rogers, who's the Republican
- 2:25Speaker 2: you know, like a good solid Republican. He's a member
- 2:29Speaker 2: of Congress for years before that the military, served in
- 2:32Speaker 2: the military, but you know, he's kind of an establishment
- 2:36Speaker 2: type of guy. Now he's running as the Republican. A
- 2:40Speaker 2: lot of Republicans are hoping this el Sayd got the nomination,
- 2:44Speaker 2: figuring he'll be easier to beat than Haley Stevens would
- 2:47Speaker 2: have been had she won the Democratic nomination. She's kind
- 2:50Speaker 2: of a normal, normal Democrat, but this far left wacko
- 2:55Speaker 2: El Sayad they think will be easier to beat. Now
- 2:58Speaker 2: he won the primary with enough votes from the college
- 3:03Speaker 2: town of ann Arbor, from the crazy left wing Palestinian
- 3:10Speaker 2: Dearborn suburb. But this is now a statewide race and
- 3:15Speaker 2: there aren't enough wackos in the state. Remember this is
- 3:18Speaker 2: outside only one in the Democratic primary. We talk about statewide.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It's different. But apparently he's going to get very aggressive
- 3:25Speaker 2: on Mike Rogers. Now, the reason this is an important
- 3:29Speaker 2: race not only is the first time one of these
- 3:31Speaker 2: wackos is trying to run in the Midwest, but this
- 3:35Speaker 2: has always been a Democratic seat, this Senate seat, there's
- 3:38Speaker 2: a Democratic senator in this seat. He's retiring. He's not
- 3:43Speaker 2: going to run he's retired, and that's why the seat
- 3:46Speaker 2: is open. So if the Republicans pick win this seat,
- 3:49Speaker 2: they pick up an extra seat in the Senate, so
- 3:51Speaker 2: it's crucial. It'll be a pickup of an extra seat.
- 3:55Speaker 2: So that's why it's important. So Alsaiad says he's going
- 3:58Speaker 2: to really go after Mike Rogers and expose him because
- 4:02Speaker 2: of his finances and his money, and it's all big
- 4:05Speaker 2: money behind Mike Rogers. He spent like seventy million in
- 4:09Speaker 2: the primary. Yeah, spent El Sayd eleven to one. I
- 4:14Speaker 2: don't know how much that holds way with the working
- 4:16Speaker 2: voters and Michigan voters. But he's also going to go
- 4:20Speaker 2: after Mike Rogers for owning several homes. This is supposed
- 4:26Speaker 2: to be some sort of crime there. He's going to
- 4:28Speaker 2: go after Rogers because he's wealthy, not that wealthy, but
- 4:33Speaker 2: he's wealthy as a second home, a vacation home. Well,
- 4:38Speaker 2: it turns out they're already doing the opposition research on
- 4:41Speaker 2: El Sayod. It turns out he has several other homes.
- 4:45Speaker 2: He owns multiple homes, not just two, more than two.
- 4:49Speaker 2: And it turns out the Rogers vacation home is in
- 4:53Speaker 2: Florida and Rogers pointing out there are a lot of
- 4:56Speaker 2: people in Michigan that have a place in Florida. It's
- 4:59Speaker 2: not that unusual. Now it turns out El Sayod, where
- 5:02Speaker 2: would you think his vacation home is his two other houses.
- 5:07Speaker 2: One's in India and one is in Dubai. Now, I
- 5:13Speaker 2: do know people that have a house in Florida. That's
- 5:15Speaker 2: not that unusual, or an apartment in Florida or a condo.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I don't know. A lot of people have a house
- 5:19Speaker 2: in Dubai that's unusual. So this El Saiyod is not
- 5:24Speaker 2: a practicing doctor, but he was a doctor of some
- 5:27Speaker 2: sort something in the medical field, apparently made himself a
- 5:30Speaker 2: lot of money, has a house in India and a
- 5:33Speaker 2: house in Dubai. That's not going to play well with
- 5:35Speaker 2: a lot of Michigan voters. You know, Michigan is a Detroit,
- 5:39Speaker 2: a lot of auto workers, a lot of auto company people.
- 5:43Speaker 2: As you go up through the state, you get to
- 5:45Speaker 2: like Flint, Michigan's kind of you know, another working town.
- 5:49Speaker 2: You got Battle Creek and got you start to go
- 5:53Speaker 2: to the upper half of Michigan, the Lower Peninsula, you
- 5:57Speaker 2: got a lot of conservative normal voters, So I think
- 6:01Speaker 2: al Sayad's in trouble. He's also demanding that Rogers debate
- 6:05Speaker 2: him five times. Now. He's a fast talker. He's like
- 6:09Speaker 2: a mom Donnie. That's the only thing I got to
- 6:10Speaker 2: worry about. You get Mom Donnie versus Cuomo in the
- 6:14Speaker 2: member of the Democratic primary. Mom Donnie's as slick as
- 6:16Speaker 2: can be, and he's talking a mile a minute, and
- 6:18Speaker 2: he can talk really fast, and he gets sound really smart.
- 6:20Speaker 2: And then they go to Cuomo and he does that
- 6:22Speaker 2: ooh to talk so slow, mister mom Donnie. And he's
- 6:30Speaker 2: got that weird accent. No one knows where the hell
- 6:32Speaker 2: that accent came from. So he could be good in
- 6:35Speaker 2: debates Elsayod, but Rogers is pretty good, pretty common sense.
- 6:38Speaker 2: So it's an important race because the Republicans pick up
- 6:41Speaker 2: an extra seat in the Senate. And it's also important
- 6:46Speaker 2: to show that in the heartland, in the middle of America,
- 6:49Speaker 2: this crazy radical left wing kook stuff is not going
- 6:53Speaker 2: to work. So the latest on Iran, the deal was
- 6:57Speaker 2: supposed to take place to open the straight or Hornmo's
- 6:59Speaker 2: supposed to happen, maybe last night, maybe today. President Trump
- 7:02Speaker 2: asked about it. The Straight up our booz the act
- 7:05Speaker 2: ghosts reporting that you might open Let's do this tomorrow.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Could happen tomorrow and the next thing tomorrow. There's a
- 7:11Speaker 1: lot of progresses and then what they called me and
- 7:14Speaker 1: they said, please, let's go. They want to make a deal.
- 7:18Speaker 1: They do not want to be hit. It was the
- 7:20Speaker 1: biggest hit since World War two. Is I said, we'll
- 7:23Speaker 1: see what happens. They had a very good day. The
- 7:27Speaker 1: negotiations were good.
- 7:29Speaker 2: That's it. We're making progress, making a lot of progress.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Nobody knows on what making a lot of progress. So
- 7:37Speaker 2: straight oh, hor Moose will be opened until it's closed,
- 7:42Speaker 2: but then they'll get it open again, until it gets
- 7:45Speaker 2: closed again. Then they'll open it again and we will
- 7:49Speaker 2: have a piece agreement. That's for a couple of days.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Then we'll have to go back to war. But then
- 7:54Speaker 2: we'll get another piece agreement and that's important until we
- 7:58Speaker 2: go back to bombing. But after that, I got another
- 8:00Speaker 2: piece agreement coming. There could be a lot of bombing
- 8:04Speaker 2: after that, but then another piece agreement too. Hey, I
- 8:06Speaker 2: don't mind this. A lot of people are upset by this,
- 8:08Speaker 2: but it's good. It just keeps Iran tied up. It
- 8:13Speaker 2: keeps them busy, so they don't have time to put
- 8:16Speaker 2: together October seventh type of events. Here's Trump again on
- 8:19Speaker 2: I rand they back out again, Are they done? Well?
- 8:22Speaker 1: If they back out again, they're gonna get hit really hard.
- 8:25Speaker 2: You know, if they know that, they understand that I
- 8:29Speaker 2: have no choice. They can't have a nuclear weapons. Very simple. Yeah.
- 8:32Speaker 2: So that's that's it. That's it, right from the horse's mouth.
- 8:35Speaker 2: If they do that, then they're gonna get hit very
- 8:38Speaker 2: hard until they sign a piece agreement, which will last
- 8:43Speaker 2: a week. Then they'll get hit very very hard again.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Then there'll be a piece agreement. You know what, Just
- 8:49Speaker 2: ignore it, Just ignore it somehow. In the end, Trump
- 8:52Speaker 2: always figures this stuff out. He always always always maneuvers
- 8:58Speaker 2: and you know, tweaks the plant. Just come back in October.
- 9:02Speaker 2: The whole thing will probably be solved. So hey. By
- 9:05Speaker 2: the way, Trump was speaking with donors and this is
- 9:09Speaker 2: off the record, no cameras, no microphones, alone with these
- 9:12Speaker 2: big donors, and apparently he said to them, we got
- 9:15Speaker 2: to get JD elected, We got to get Jay. So
- 9:17Speaker 2: a lot of people wondering, is it going to be
- 9:19Speaker 2: Marco Rubio, is it going to be JD Vance, Is
- 9:22Speaker 2: it going to be somebody else, but he apparently told
- 9:25Speaker 2: them JD. Right now, it's JD. Now. You got to remember,
- 9:28Speaker 2: anytime you're talking about who's going to be the nominee
- 9:30Speaker 2: in twenty twenty eight, you're a little bit nuts because
- 9:33Speaker 2: there's absolutely no way to predict anything right now. It's
- 9:38Speaker 2: like talking about who's going to win the super Bowl
- 9:40Speaker 2: in twenty twenty eight. It's impossible to say right now.
- 9:43Speaker 2: It's more than two years away. Who knows what the
- 9:45Speaker 2: conditions will be done. Everything will change between now and then,
- 9:48Speaker 2: So it's a crazy conversation. Hey, that story on the news,
- 9:52Speaker 2: the Frank Sinatra houses for sale in Hoboken. This is
- 9:56Speaker 2: supposed to jack up the price. It's Frank Sinatra's what.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Frank Sinatra grew up in a little crummy house in
- 10:03Speaker 2: Hoboken Monroe Street. What this house is when he became
- 10:08Speaker 2: rich and famous. He became very famous as a young guy.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I remember he still in his twenties. He was like
- 10:13Speaker 2: the Beatles, screaming girls at the Paramount Riots outside the theater.
- 10:18Speaker 2: He was that big at the twenty five or whatever
- 10:20Speaker 2: he was. But this is when he made a lot
- 10:24Speaker 2: of money. He bought this house for his parents, so
- 10:27Speaker 2: his parents lived there. They don't quite make that clear
- 10:29Speaker 2: in the real estate ad Frank Sinatra House in Hoboke,
- 10:33Speaker 2: it's actually the Martin Sinatra House, the Martin and Dolly
- 10:37Speaker 2: Sinatra House in Hoboken. Remember, there was an apartment on
- 10:40Speaker 2: the east side seventy second and East End Avenue, Frank
- 10:44Speaker 2: Sinatra's apartment. He did own it. It was his apartment
- 10:46Speaker 2: for he never lived there. Though never lived there for years,
- 10:50Speaker 2: it was he used it for parties. His longtime secretary
- 10:55Speaker 2: Laverne lived there. Sinatra lived in the Waldorf in his
- 10:58Speaker 2: New York years. Thirty three A. That was the apartment.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I still remember thirty three A. And if you got
- 11:05Speaker 2: off the elevator went down the hall to go to
- 11:07Speaker 2: thirty three eight, there was a guy at a desk
- 11:09Speaker 2: with a metal detector. You had to go through the
- 11:12Speaker 2: metal detector to get to Frank sin Hunter's apartment. And
- 11:16Speaker 2: I would watch this and everybody that went to that
- 11:19Speaker 2: metal detector set it off. You can imagine some of
- 11:22Speaker 2: the characters that were going through. They always set off
- 11:24Speaker 2: the metal detector and nobody ever said a word, nobody
- 11:27Speaker 2: ever stopped them. So, hey, I want to keep repeating
- 11:30Speaker 2: this throughout the show. We've every hour had been pushing this.
- 11:33Speaker 2: This is very important because you're going to hear about
- 11:36Speaker 2: the affordability crisis, the price of food, the cost of everything,
- 11:41Speaker 2: the affordability crisis. This just came out this week from
- 11:45Speaker 2: the Euros Bureau of Labor statistic Now, these are absolute
- 11:48Speaker 2: hard facts people now in America, Americans now pay more
- 11:53Speaker 2: in taxes than they do for food, clothing, and shelter.
- 11:59Speaker 2: That's the biggest single expense of America. Taxes used to
- 12:02Speaker 2: be ten percent, fifteen percent. They're so bad now between federal, state, local,
- 12:08Speaker 2: people now pay more in taxes than they do for food, clothing,
- 12:12Speaker 2: and shelter. So if you're worried about affordability, people being
- 12:15Speaker 2: able to afford stuff, that's your number one concern there.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Get those taxes down, Get those taxes down. Even Bill Ackman,
- 12:27Speaker 2: the hedgehront billionaire, saying the affordability crisis is strictly the
- 12:31Speaker 2: result of bad public policy. Very bad public policy has
- 12:37Speaker 2: caused this problem. Now, the taxes, you can get them down.
- 12:40Speaker 2: It's mostly waist fraud bloat. We could cut the government
- 12:45Speaker 2: spending by a fifty percent without affecting anything. You could
- 12:49Speaker 2: actually cut it seventy percent, but let's start with fifty percent. Hey,
- 12:54Speaker 2: everybody's wondering the city council was going to do something
- 12:57Speaker 2: about these e bikes zipping around, causing accidents, terrifying people,
- 13:01Speaker 2: hurting people, E scooters, e bikes. What happened with the
- 13:05Speaker 2: City Council was we did this story that they're they're
- 13:09Speaker 2: going after it now and every single well, what happened.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Here's the problem. Great that they're going after it. Here's
- 13:14Speaker 2: the problem though, it's government, it's New York City government,
- 13:18Speaker 2: it's the City Council. So they're going to hold The
- 13:22Speaker 2: next step is they'll hold an oversight hearing. Then the
- 13:27Speaker 2: next step after that they will conduct a comprehensive review,
- 13:31Speaker 2: and then they will This is gonna take forever. You
- 13:34Speaker 2: know what, Just do it tonight. Go vote on this
- 13:37Speaker 2: right now. All e bytes have to be regulated. They'll
- 13:40Speaker 2: get a license registration. They'll pay a fee for this
- 13:44Speaker 2: every year, they'll have to pay a fee to renew it.
- 13:47Speaker 2: It's a great revenue source. And then start ticketing them
- 13:51Speaker 2: if they're driving the wrong way, if they're going through lights, whatever,
- 13:56Speaker 2: if they're doing any going up on the sideway, Start
- 13:58Speaker 2: writing tickets. If you drove your car through the red light,
- 14:01Speaker 2: you get a ticket. If you drove your car up
- 14:03Speaker 2: on the sidewalk, you'll get a ticket. Do it to
- 14:05Speaker 2: e bikes. You'll get tremendous revenue from it. And if
- 14:09Speaker 2: they start getting tickets, they'll obviously start being more careful
- 14:14Speaker 2: and stop driving through lights and running people down. Start
- 14:18Speaker 2: ticketing them. It's that simple. Hey, we'll take some calls next,
- 14:22Speaker 2: and we want to get new callers. We like getting
- 14:24Speaker 2: all kinds of new callers. If you've never called before,
- 14:26Speaker 2: call us. The number is eight hundred three two one
- 14:30Speaker 2: zero seven ten. Is the number, eight hundred three two
- 14:34Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Hey, and don't forget the show
- 14:37Speaker 2: starts at nine o'clock. Now, this show is now three hours.
- 14:41Speaker 2: It's nine to noon every day, so if you're still
- 14:44Speaker 2: tuning in at ten, you're missing the first hour. So
- 14:47Speaker 2: it's nine to noon every day. And oh, as they said,
- 14:50Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three two one
- 14:54Speaker 2: zero seven ten
