- 0:37Speaker 3: He's the because why I told him having for dinner.
- 0:40Speaker 2: No, not exactly, but it kind of fits.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Is that your hoties?
- 0:50Speaker 2: No, It'sie. There's that show, I guess, I don't know.
- 0:58Speaker 2: There's that show Primal.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Uh get the guy that made Sammy Jacky Tekovsky. He's
- 1:04Speaker 4: made like season three or some ship. Okay, so I
- 1:08Speaker 4: get clips of that. It's kind of going in like
- 1:10Speaker 4: a supernatural direction where like Matt spoilers, I can't tell
- 1:14Speaker 4: talking about it?
- 1:15Speaker 3: What the Winchester show up with Kansas play in the background? Yeah,
- 1:21Speaker 3: as did you know Dean Sam we're in a different
- 1:30Speaker 3: show now, Actually, Sammy, you're in my showing.
- 1:37Speaker 2: That Sam the boys?
- 1:40Speaker 3: What the what the fuck is Dean Wind not deed?
- 1:43Speaker 3: Sam Winter is gonna do on that show? That's how
- 1:45Speaker 3: do they kill him off?
- 1:46Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:46Speaker 3: They also got fucking they got fucking uh No, don't
- 1:49Speaker 3: say it, don't no, don't say the word. Don't say
- 1:52Speaker 3: the word. My brain I've been I've been testing my
- 1:54Speaker 3: brain the ways of the Jedi Cassiel he fuck you,
- 1:59Speaker 3: fuck you, fuck you disability. See, I know my ship. No,
- 2:05Speaker 3: they even got a fucking uh his name is that?
- 2:07Speaker 3: I know this one's annoying. I remember his real fun
- 2:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah, they got fucking Misha. I
- 2:13Speaker 3: played Cassie on that show too, like me again, but
- 2:16Speaker 3: it makes sense. So sorry. When the show runner is
- 2:18Speaker 3: Eric Kripkey, he's one of my favorites. He's the one
- 2:20Speaker 3: who did Supernantial for the first like six years.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Yes, well you realize, you realize the directors and everything
- 2:28Speaker 4: have their people, you know what I'm saying, Like like
- 2:31Speaker 4: I was just watching uh, you know, Twin Peaks, like
- 2:34Speaker 4: I was talking about and god, his name, what's the
- 2:37Speaker 4: guy's name? David Lynch, David Lynch has he uses Kyle McLaughlan,
- 2:42Speaker 4: and like so many different things.
- 2:44Speaker 2: M hm, you know what I'm saying.
- 2:45Speaker 3: So well, it's like another one, Oh god, what's his name?
- 2:49Speaker 3: From The Walking Dead? Bald guy has an arm chopped off.
- 2:52Speaker 3: He's only in for a couple of seasons. He's in
- 2:55Speaker 3: like every James Gun movie plays giandu.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Let's it's like going back Mike Michael Rooker.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Thank you, Michael Rooker. Yeah, everyone has their people or
- 3:05Speaker 3: best I mean, honestly the best one that has to
- 3:07Speaker 3: be like James Gun Michael Rooker, and then Tarantino. I forget,
- 3:10Speaker 3: I forget the guy's name. He plays like, always pays,
- 3:12Speaker 3: he's always war a cowboy hat.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Well, I mean you could say that about Samuel L.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Jackson to Samuel one.
- 3:19Speaker 3: That's actually I think that what he said, that's the
- 3:21Speaker 3: biggest one. Yeah, ship anyway, I'm your favorite barman host
- 3:30Speaker 3: Chuck from Truantina Oj Patron. I'm least like the Wookie
- 3:44Speaker 3: I was gonna do it.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I'm drinking.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I'm drinking. I am good. I'll be good later when
- 3:50Speaker 3: after dinner I have ribs.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I'm late.
- 3:55Speaker 3: I'm just poiling right now. There's gonna be a weird
- 3:56Speaker 3: cut in a little bit, and there's that middle episode
- 3:58Speaker 3: because I have ribs in the oven right now. They
- 4:00Speaker 3: smell fantastic. I am drinking polar siltzer water, strawberry watermelon.
- 4:07Speaker 3: I've been on a strawberry kick lately. I don't know why.
- 4:09Speaker 2: A little berry springtime.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Actually, really, i've been on actually really like what are
- 4:15Speaker 3: you drinking? I have someone I want to ask you.
- 4:18Speaker 2: I'm actually drinking like a bit of liquor, a little liquor, Ricky.
- 4:25Speaker 3: We're doing a breaking the fourth wall.
- 4:27Speaker 2: We're doing.
- 4:30Speaker 5: We're doing a honey bear, which is a Woodford Reserve
- 4:34Speaker 5: double oaked bourbon, a little bit of a homemade simple syrup,
- 4:39Speaker 5: citrus and sage, simple syrup, and a little bit apple
- 4:43Speaker 5: cider to top it off with some ice on the rocks.
- 4:45Speaker 2: As I say, and stir that bad beery. Yep, you
- 4:47Speaker 2: got yourself a honeybear. Actually, actually so well, you know what,
- 4:54Speaker 2: you know, I've been making this.
- 4:55Speaker 4: We have been getting through the last of the bourbon,
- 4:57Speaker 4: as to the simple syrup. My wife's away on a
- 5:00Speaker 4: on a trip with her her family, and I'm.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Like, I'm gonna it's Wedes.
- 5:05Speaker 3: It's Wednesday's Wednesday, my dudes, Oh my god, it's Wednesday.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Breaking the fourth wall. This isn't a live show.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Ladies and gents, gentsen ladies, Germs and worms.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Germs and worms, bats and bats and baboons.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Answer crickets. Anyway.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Anyway, you got a question for the old g I
- 5:31Speaker 2: don't know.
- 5:31Speaker 3: If you saw my snapchat yesterday I said this to you.
- 5:34Speaker 3: I said to you a couple of friends of mine.
- 5:36Speaker 3: I got a question. Oh really quick, let me get
- 5:39Speaker 3: my marketing TRUXTJ was com trucks and your damn damn
- 5:44Speaker 3: damn brain. Yeah, I don't know why you know. I
- 5:49Speaker 3: think I think you do me pretty well.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I think you know me.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Yeah, you're all right, gay, you know me pretty well.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I mean if I okay, in my twenties or actually,
- 6:02Speaker 3: here's the I'm a larger male. I like I still
- 6:05Speaker 3: like to eat, but I used to like to eat
- 6:06Speaker 3: a lot. I also used to like drink, not like alcohol.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I mean I did drink out Like I used to
- 6:11Speaker 3: drink a lot of this. What's it called carbonated beverage?
- 6:15Speaker 2: They call it a pop with some call it a pop.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Some call it a soda. Some call it a soda.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Some call it.
- 6:21Speaker 2: A liter of cola liter of cola.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Yeah, some call it a pepsi. But then of course
- 6:27Speaker 3: you ask the waiter trouper, and you something else is pepsi?
- 6:31Speaker 2: Okay, they never have that.
- 6:34Speaker 3: I think I like pepsi strategy, Like they don't acknowledge
- 6:37Speaker 3: it because it's always like like people will know who
- 6:39Speaker 3: we are anyway, and I think it's so smart. I mean,
- 6:41Speaker 3: I think personally, I think they have the better amount
- 6:43Speaker 3: of different other drinks in my opinion. Anyway, classic getting
- 6:46Speaker 3: off the point, rambling on. I don't know why I
- 6:51Speaker 3: have never and I mean this when I say this,
- 6:53Speaker 3: I have never been a diet coke guy. My mother
- 6:57Speaker 3: used to drink. My mother used to drink. And I
- 7:00Speaker 3: don't see him as stories anymore. You could rarely i'll
- 7:02Speaker 3: see him the gold caffeine free diet coke class. My
- 7:07Speaker 3: father in law likes a diet coke every now and then.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I think I've seen my dad probably had a diet
- 7:11Speaker 3: coke one time, just because there's no coke and.
- 7:13Speaker 2: A party who are at?
- 7:14Speaker 3: And of course that of course my dad, you know,
- 7:16Speaker 3: put a little bit.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Of cup with a good old rum.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Little Captain Morgan. Sorry, how rud me? Sorry that Bacarty.
- 7:21Speaker 3: My dad's a Bacardi guy.
- 7:23Speaker 2: How silly me? I apologize for sure.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Actually I'd like Bacardi two. It was pretty good anyway.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I don't know why the last six it was actually
- 7:32Speaker 3: not the last six months. January when we were in Florida.
- 7:36Speaker 3: I don't know why. My wife and I we went
- 7:38Speaker 3: to a little quick service restaurant and I can say where,
- 7:40Speaker 3: somewhere in the South Florida, and for some reason I
- 7:44Speaker 3: decided to get a diet coke and it like it
- 7:46Speaker 3: wasn't like this like life changing thing. I'm like, oh,
- 7:48Speaker 3: it's really good, like wow, this is my personality now.
- 7:52Speaker 3: But that bug was stuck in the back of my brain,
- 7:55Speaker 3: like a lot of things are stuck in my brain.
- 7:57Speaker 3: God knows, you know that, And for some reason I cannot.
- 8:01Speaker 3: I have this insane desire to just keep drinking fucking
- 8:05Speaker 3: diet coke. I don't know what it is. Our work
- 8:08Speaker 3: where I work at they have this We have like
- 8:11Speaker 3: venda machines and stuff like that, and they have this
- 8:12Speaker 3: deal with a company where essentially we can get a
- 8:14Speaker 3: can of a soda or like we need a canvas
- 8:17Speaker 3: some day for a quarter.
- 8:18Speaker 2: It's pretty nice.
- 8:21Speaker 3: It's a pretty good deal. And I don't know why.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I just every time I have lunch whenever, because that's
- 8:28Speaker 3: what we do. I've talked about this in the podcast,
- 8:30Speaker 3: especially when I think Shagszill was here a couple of
- 8:33Speaker 3: weeks ago. I've been really good since my wife came
- 8:37Speaker 3: back home. I make our lunches a meal prep for
- 8:40Speaker 3: the week. We do some chicken and rice. We'll do
- 8:42Speaker 3: a veggie, we'll do a little fruit, do a little
- 8:44Speaker 3: sweet tree, if you know, the day's kind of right,
- 8:46Speaker 3: kind of feeling, seeing where we feel that morning, and
- 8:48Speaker 3: stuff like that. And I always pack her a drink,
- 8:51Speaker 3: either it's a doctor pepper or it's a you know,
- 8:54Speaker 3: some kind of beverage. And I usually pack myself because
- 8:57Speaker 3: I'll buy them for myself. I usually pack myself a
- 8:59Speaker 3: salts or water. That's all I drink. And every time
- 9:02Speaker 3: I'm sitting there eating, it's just like it is here
- 9:04Speaker 3: in the back, you know, it's like it's like Jason
- 9:09Speaker 3: Caitlyn hates it, by the way. You know, I don't
- 9:13Speaker 3: think it's I don't think it's Actually that's been debate too,
- 9:15Speaker 3: they say, or ke ky ha ha, it's not, or Mama,
- 9:23Speaker 3: it's m yeah. Because of that, that's what I don't
- 9:28Speaker 3: when I hear I when it goes, I don't hear.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I don't hear. I hear. It's like it's like the
- 9:32Speaker 3: it's like the original. It's like the eighties version of
- 9:34Speaker 3: the dress blue or gold. By the way it was revealed,
- 9:38Speaker 3: it was blue and black. Your clothes are black. Uh No,
- 9:43Speaker 3: that was revealed actually a couple of weeks ago. I
- 9:45Speaker 3: don't know why.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I mean, it's been a while. I think. I think
- 9:51Speaker 2: I think people found it online and they're like that
- 9:53Speaker 2: it's blue.
- 9:56Speaker 3: But no, I don't know why. I just had this.
- 9:58Speaker 3: I've had this on insane desire to just get diet coke.
- 10:04Speaker 3: I don't know what it is. And it's only and
- 10:07Speaker 3: it's only when it's in this fridge at our work
- 10:12Speaker 3: where the vending machine's at. Because it's in the can.
- 10:14Speaker 3: It's like, hey, it's twenty five cents. Very di coke yet,
- 10:18Speaker 3: but yet that when when my fat ask goes to McDonald's.
- 10:20Speaker 3: If I go to like a service restaurant or like
- 10:22Speaker 3: a nice restaurant, I'm not ordering diet cokes there. I'm
- 10:24Speaker 3: getting myself, you know. If I go to mcdonald's'm giving
- 10:26Speaker 3: myself a cokeer sprite.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Although already making the choice to go to McDonald's, you're like, well,
- 10:31Speaker 4: we're gonna say fuck it and.
- 10:32Speaker 3: We're gonna suck the diet literally.
- 10:35Speaker 2: But by the way, I have that too.
- 10:37Speaker 4: I went to McDonald's earlier this week to try their
- 10:41Speaker 4: new little big arch sandwich.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and you eat it?
- 10:44Speaker 3: Did you eat it exactly as CEO did?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Sorry I continue, No, But did I enjoy it? Not? Really?
- 10:50Speaker 3: This is really good?
- 10:52Speaker 2: Wow? This product is I love this product.
- 10:55Speaker 3: I'm really really giving myself a chance to get a
- 10:57Speaker 3: sponsored McDonald's on the show where we're voice acting for them.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Brother, they got ripped torn No, not ripped horn.
- 11:04Speaker 2: What's the guy's name? The one actor? But but did
- 11:11Speaker 2: I enjoy it? No? No, I didn't.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Can I can? I? Okay?
- 11:15Speaker 4: But I did it. I did it because it's a
- 11:17Speaker 4: it's a mental thing. It's like I'm feeling down. I
- 11:20Speaker 4: need something that is just greasy and ye and.
- 11:24Speaker 2: That I can just shove in my face as fast
- 11:26Speaker 2: as possible. Let me ask you this.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Question, okay, because before you have them into your new
- 11:31Speaker 3: cosa yet, let me where the McDonald's is by you?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Is it?
- 11:37Speaker 3: Would you say it's good? Would you say like? Would
- 11:40Speaker 3: would you say would you say like if you if
- 11:42Speaker 3: I if you were to go there ten not one
- 11:43Speaker 3: a week, of course, don't do that to yourself. If
- 11:45Speaker 3: you were to go there, say ten times, would it
- 11:48Speaker 3: be like eight out of ten times? It slaps like
- 11:50Speaker 3: it was good.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Because here's the thing, this is a nuanced question, because
- 11:56Speaker 4: do I go to McDonald's to enjoy the food, not
- 11:59Speaker 4: necessarily do I go Toald because it's because it's a look.
- 12:06Speaker 4: I my order for McDonald's more often than not it's
- 12:11Speaker 4: two double cheeseburgers, two mcchickens, and a large coke. And
- 12:16Speaker 4: so at that point, at that point is that it's
- 12:20Speaker 4: not about the quality, it's about the quantity, and it's
- 12:24Speaker 4: it's not about the flavor.
- 12:26Speaker 2: It's about literally, like.
- 12:27Speaker 4: This, it's the salt content essentially, you know, because it's
- 12:31Speaker 4: not it's like, oh, it's just the best fucking flavor.
- 12:34Speaker 2: It's like, oh, it's just like.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Meat and cheese and ketchup in bun and I can
- 12:40Speaker 4: eat it on my way with one hand, and you know, don't.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Listen to me. This is brotherhood packed.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Okay, you can tell my fucking life for how to
- 12:50Speaker 4: do this, because it's like sometimes I do that after
- 12:52Speaker 4: work and I'm.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Like, oh, yeah, man, I didn't eat. I didn't eat much.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Oh it's for dinner because we don't eat until nine
- 13:02Speaker 4: and like most of the days during work, I don't eat.
- 13:05Speaker 4: And listen to me, the my my diet is a
- 13:15Speaker 4: little fucking wacky right now. Okay, can you just give
- 13:18Speaker 4: me a little bit of grace?
- 13:19Speaker 2: Can you do that for me? Yeah?
- 13:21Speaker 6: For me?
- 13:21Speaker 4: Yeah, alright, cool, Because like I don't eat during the day.
- 13:24Speaker 4: I don't have a lunch break. We don't have a
- 13:27Speaker 4: lunch break. No, it's it's fine. Most of the days
- 13:29Speaker 4: it's fine. But some days I don't eat, and I'm like,
- 13:32Speaker 4: all right, let me, I got it. Fucking I'm fucking
- 13:35Speaker 4: hungry and grab something like a little snack for the road.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Sometimes it's ten dollars at McDonald's because for some fucking reason,
- 13:43Speaker 4: well no, we know. The reason is that it's not
- 13:44Speaker 4: real food. Actually it's a it's a burger that is
- 13:48Speaker 4: actually through a.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Squeeze tube and you just squeeze it on the allegedly.
- 13:52Speaker 4: Allegedly, there's plenty of people at McDonald's that, you know,
- 13:56Speaker 4: they I don't know if they have to sign an
- 13:58Speaker 4: NDA to work at.
- 13:59Speaker 2: McDonald's, but anyway, but.
- 14:03Speaker 4: The point of the matter is that like it's quantity
- 14:06Speaker 4: over quality, you know what I'm saying. Like there's a
- 14:08Speaker 4: nostalgic aspect of it where it's like, yeah, this tastes
- 14:11Speaker 4: the same as when I was in high school and
- 14:12Speaker 4: I could fucking stack them on top of each other
- 14:14Speaker 4: and make a mcgang bang and fucking eat them both
- 14:19Speaker 4: at once somehow, And I think back to myself, I'm like,
- 14:22Speaker 4: how the fuck did I even do that? One of
- 14:24Speaker 4: my shaggy from Scooby Dude, and my jaw used to unhinge?
- 14:28Speaker 2: What is wrong with me? But then at the end
- 14:30Speaker 2: of the day, it's like, do I do another one? Do? Yeah?
- 14:34Speaker 2: I could.
- 14:35Speaker 4: I can make two right now. I can make a
- 14:37Speaker 4: double decker mcgang.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Bang and just be double decker, you know, after fucking
- 14:44Speaker 2: marching band practice or whatever.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Yeah, and and so like does it slap?
- 14:50Speaker 2: Was your question? Eight out of ten times? Does it slap? Yes? No,
- 14:53Speaker 2: it doesn't fucking slap.
- 14:55Speaker 4: But does it do what it's Does it do it
- 14:57Speaker 4: it's supposed to do?
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yes? Like I think I definitely.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Our parameters are metrics of slaps versus not slaps? Is
- 15:05Speaker 4: is is different for this?
- 15:07Speaker 2: For this? Like does it slap on a McDonald's scale
- 15:10Speaker 2: of slapping? Sure, I would that's would say that that.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Would be the best way.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Actually, that would be the actual correct And honestly, like
- 15:16Speaker 4: more often than not, I'm disappointed in like the higher
- 15:19Speaker 4: priced menu items and I just do the the double
- 15:23Speaker 4: cheeseburgers or the uh you know, like, for instance, this
- 15:28Speaker 4: big archburger.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yes, I was.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Expecting, okay, yeah, we're gonna this could be actually good,
- 15:33Speaker 4: you know. And and were there parts of it that
- 15:35Speaker 4: were decent, Yeah, like the crispy onions and the sauce
- 15:39Speaker 4: was a bit better, but like the burger itself, the
- 15:41Speaker 4: ship was still pink in the middle.
- 15:42Speaker 2: And I'm like, I didn't order this. I didn't order
- 15:45Speaker 2: this medium rare. You know what I'm saying, like raw
- 15:51Speaker 2: is this?
- 15:51Speaker 4: Is this supposed to be pink because it evokes the
- 15:54Speaker 4: essence of like, hey, you know, this could have actually
- 15:56Speaker 4: been real meat at one point. But then it's also
- 15:59Speaker 4: like this is relatively uncooked compared to most of the
- 16:03Speaker 4: gray meat I get here, So I'm kind of concerned. Luckily,
- 16:08Speaker 4: I haven't you know, keeled over yet or had some
- 16:10Speaker 4: weird meat sweat situation.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Thank you appreciate it. I don't have any wood near me.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Oh fuck, punch yourself of the cock.
- 16:23Speaker 2: You're gonna have to pause the show really quick. Gotta
- 16:27Speaker 2: get myself ready.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Anyway, So I'll put the question back on you when
- 16:33Speaker 4: you go to like the lowest common denominator of fast
- 16:35Speaker 4: food chains, does it usually slap ten?
- 16:41Speaker 3: So the thing about and you know where I live,
- 16:45Speaker 3: we have a lot of really.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Good food places.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the thing, and no, here's the thing there.
- 16:53Speaker 3: As you said, there are some nights where it's like
- 16:55Speaker 3: I just need something in my hands right now. I
- 16:59Speaker 3: don't want to go to a place and wait twenty minutes.
- 17:02Speaker 3: I don't want to go home and throw something in
- 17:04Speaker 3: their microwave or the air frar, like I said, I
- 17:09Speaker 3: since cave and I started doing this, Like I mean,
- 17:11Speaker 3: it's not even like I mean it has been in
- 17:12Speaker 3: a way a diet, but like this like lifestyle change
- 17:14Speaker 3: where we just don't go out as much anymore, Like
- 17:16Speaker 3: we make a lot of our food at home, regardless of
- 17:18Speaker 3: like a situation with our kitchen. Like I don't want
- 17:22Speaker 3: to put my thing. I want to like throw the
- 17:24Speaker 3: thing the microwave. It's like now that my micro I
- 17:26Speaker 3: don't want my micro to even turn on, and I
- 17:27Speaker 3: don't want to wait twenty minutes for the air fire
- 17:29Speaker 3: to get you know, heat up, and then throw it
- 17:30Speaker 3: in the fucking up anyway. Point being fucking rambly on
- 17:33Speaker 3: is the McDonald's by Us. I don't know why even
- 17:38Speaker 3: my you know, Scott, my pops, fucking even he goes,
- 17:43Speaker 3: holy shit, this is actually really for some reason, the
- 17:46Speaker 3: McDonald's buy Us is just like every time I think
- 17:48Speaker 3: maybe there's one time I think it was, like here's
- 17:51Speaker 3: a perfect example. Okay, the McDonald's buy Us I think
- 17:54Speaker 3: is legitimately like one of the best ones I've ever
- 17:56Speaker 3: been to, Like I rarely, you rarely get like those
- 17:59Speaker 3: like room temperature fries. The fries are always boiling because
- 18:02Speaker 3: it's just it's just it's just essentially, it's like the expectation,
- 18:04Speaker 3: like all either fires away normal, you grab one, your
- 18:07Speaker 3: fingers on fucking fire, but you're so distracted you don't
- 18:10Speaker 3: realize it. Then you bite it and you go I
- 18:12Speaker 3: need five cokes to heal my mouth because that's how hard,
- 18:16Speaker 3: that's how hot they are. And literally the only bad
- 18:19Speaker 3: experience I ever had there was actually right when we
- 18:21Speaker 3: first moved here. I once, you know, like a fat
- 18:23Speaker 3: like a fat ass. I uber eatsed it to my
- 18:26Speaker 3: fuck I said a brand name, damn it, sorry shakesy'm
- 18:29Speaker 3: sor I ride shared it to my house the order
- 18:34Speaker 3: was wrong. I got I'm not sure, I'm not shitting you.
- 18:39Speaker 3: I got a handwritten letter.
- 18:41Speaker 2: That's crazy from the manager.
- 18:44Speaker 3: So we are so sorry. Essentially, we're so sorry. Yea yea.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Next like regular value of mules on us and I'm like,
- 18:52Speaker 3: holy shit, because like what that's kind of crazy and
- 18:57Speaker 3: like it wasn't like I contacted them. I just put
- 18:59Speaker 3: like I put like an the like how is your
- 19:00Speaker 3: foot on? My orders were on? Dude, like and they
- 19:02Speaker 3: give like got my money back? That was fine, but
- 19:05Speaker 3: yeah they gave you And I was like wow, and
- 19:07Speaker 3: likely I'm not sick.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Every time I did he handwrite it? Did he mail
- 19:10Speaker 2: it to you?
- 19:11Speaker 3: It was it was literally handwritten on a little like
- 19:15Speaker 3: uh uh. It was one of those like how I
- 19:18Speaker 3: explained it was it was an evident. It was. It
- 19:21Speaker 3: was in an envelope and it was like one of
- 19:24Speaker 3: those like little I don't want to say. It was
- 19:25Speaker 3: like almost like little like business cards, but not like
- 19:27Speaker 3: his business card. It was just like a McDonald's thing
- 19:29Speaker 3: was like you know, free meal, yet you get with
- 19:32Speaker 3: a bunch of McDonald's branding and and yeah and yeah, coupon.
- 19:35Speaker 3: It was. It was literally a coupon duh, and the
- 19:37Speaker 3: back where it's all just like you know, basic, there's
- 19:39Speaker 3: nothing on there. It was literally had just the address
- 19:42Speaker 3: in McDonald's and it had like a little like half
- 19:44Speaker 3: it was like just like blank, and he literally wrote
- 19:46Speaker 3: our apologies and he lived like he put here's our number,
- 19:48Speaker 3: please call me if you have any questions, And I'm like,
- 19:50Speaker 3: what the fuck?
- 19:52Speaker 4: But I'm saying, like when did you get this this coupon?
- 19:56Speaker 3: It was like I'm not joking, and maybe it was
- 19:59Speaker 3: like a week later in the male in the mail,
- 20:04Speaker 3: which which in my mind I'm like like holy ship,
- 20:06Speaker 3: like because I'm sure like what did like Uber contact him?
- 20:08Speaker 3: Because i mean, you never know after a stern while,
- 20:10Speaker 3: like if a certain restrock has so many complaints, you
- 20:12Speaker 3: know they might drop.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Weird though, what is Uber like? You got to go
- 20:15Speaker 2: make this right.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Here's one of the customers.
- 20:22Speaker 2: You think this is a fucking game.
- 20:26Speaker 3: You need to kiss his ring, not his fingering, the
- 20:29Speaker 3: ring on his toes. He doesn't wear ring toes.
- 20:31Speaker 2: You're gonna buy him a ring toe.
- 20:33Speaker 7: You put it on his feet and kiss it again,
- 20:38Speaker 7: and then you think and then you're gonna make him
- 20:40Speaker 7: an off.
- 20:41Speaker 2: You can't refuse suber eats. We're on thin ice as
- 20:45Speaker 2: it is. People get keep pissing on people's food.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Oh my god, spraying Mason it another here's another, Yeah,
- 20:53Speaker 4: but the point.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Can't take another bad pr I.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Don't even remember why we started with this conversation about
- 20:59Speaker 3: this question, but like, yeah, don't I think I think.
- 21:02Speaker 3: I think nothing beats having a Like it's like you
- 21:06Speaker 3: started talking about diet coke. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah exactly.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Because I don't know why I got to.
- 21:11Speaker 3: I know I got a die cope. I I got
- 21:12Speaker 3: on the McDonald's topic. But like, nothing to me beats
- 21:15Speaker 3: when you have like when you're in an area and
- 21:17Speaker 3: you just have even like even like like even the
- 21:19Speaker 3: fucking McDonald's just fucking gas, you know, or some ship
- 21:22Speaker 3: like that. You know it does? How bad? Okay, full disclosure.
- 21:26Speaker 3: It's like a little fat fuck here, which I essentially
- 21:29Speaker 3: am sort of. I have I have Hey, come on,
- 21:33Speaker 3: I have tonemus, I work out. Hey, you know it's
- 21:39Speaker 3: bad when I don't. I think he's one of the
- 21:41Speaker 3: managers there when he knows you my first name and
- 21:43Speaker 3: before you like walk in or before you put in
- 21:46Speaker 3: the drive.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Well, they got your address. They probably tagged your car.
- 21:51Speaker 3: They probably yeah, they probably got my social too.
- 21:52Speaker 4: No, like probably got like a room in the back
- 21:55Speaker 4: of the McDonald's with all the screens and satellite images
- 21:57Speaker 4: and like, okay, he's on his way.
- 21:59Speaker 3: My order, My order is I usually do uh, I
- 22:03Speaker 3: usually do a mcdouble, pull the mustard to hold the cheese
- 22:06Speaker 3: or not. I do a little do some cheese, pull
- 22:08Speaker 3: the pickle, hold the mustard, and I'll do a spicy
- 22:11Speaker 3: mc chicken.
- 22:12Speaker 2: I see, we don't have the spicy mc chickens. And
- 22:14Speaker 2: it's pissing me off.
- 22:15Speaker 4: The do you not have spicy because it's Indiana.
- 22:19Speaker 2: See this is this is to your point.
- 22:20Speaker 4: It's like you're McDonald's a super super gas a McDonald's
- 22:24Speaker 4: on mid as.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Fuck. Also, we don't have spicy med chickens. You don't
- 22:27Speaker 2: think if I had a spicy me.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Chicken, because they do it sometimes it's a limited time
- 22:31Speaker 4: thing and they're every for a while. When I was going, yes,
- 22:34Speaker 4: for a while, when I was going uh back home,
- 22:37Speaker 4: I would stop at an oasis and be like, oh
- 22:39Speaker 4: my god.
- 22:39Speaker 2: A spicey chicken. Oh I know an oasis, ye oasis exactly.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Get the Panics bes right to the that's fucking that's
- 22:49Speaker 4: a crazy story.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I mean, beg James at an oasis.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Come back to that one later he's like, oh, you
- 22:56Speaker 3: didn't know, No, I do know.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I know who you are.
- 23:00Speaker 3: No, but like and it's like it's because, like you know,
- 23:03Speaker 3: like with the Red.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Quick aside, he would be a great Jehovah's witness, just
- 23:07Speaker 4: saying he would be converting people left and right. Oh
- 23:13Speaker 4: you didn't know, smacking people with bibles and throwing him
- 23:17Speaker 4: in the dumpster.
- 23:18Speaker 3: She's just gonna call your ass up.
- 23:23Speaker 2: But that's a pretty care That's fine. It's for us.
- 23:27Speaker 2: It's fine, it's for us. So but that's a quality order. Again,
- 23:32Speaker 2: we're going on the value of that.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I don't do fries. I think their fries are great.
- 23:36Speaker 3: McDonald's fries are always McDonald's fries. My problem is halftime,
- 23:39Speaker 3: Like the McDonald's I go to, they're always hot. But
- 23:41Speaker 3: the problem is when they're not. It is such a
- 23:43Speaker 3: it's such a fucking like two fat like like two guys.
- 23:47Speaker 2: It's such a disappointment. It ruined by whole day. It's
- 23:50Speaker 2: such a disappointment. You know what.
- 23:51Speaker 3: The other places around me, their fries are pretty good.
- 23:54Speaker 2: They're sting.
- 23:56Speaker 3: They're the greatest fries even regardless of the French fries
- 23:59Speaker 3: you eat, though they're.
- 23:59Speaker 4: A He probably has orange orange forty seven. Probably has
- 24:04Speaker 4: a very strong opinion because that is the prime, that
- 24:09Speaker 4: is primary, that is this primary means.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Of nutrition is fast food.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Apparently it's funny like they for the second it's like
- 24:17Speaker 3: like you hear like all these people like who have
- 24:18Speaker 3: like done interviews with him or like have met him,
- 24:20Speaker 3: a person like I've never seen the due drink water.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I want to see the drink coach somehow.
- 24:26Speaker 7: My constitution is the I have the constitution of a
- 24:29Speaker 7: twenty five year old steroid niced athlete. I don't need water.
- 24:34Speaker 7: Actually at this point my body produces it naturally. It
- 24:37Speaker 7: converts the coca cola.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Every time I take a shower, every time I get
- 24:41Speaker 3: bathed by my twenty maids and maidens and like that,
- 24:44Speaker 3: the water just goes poorly into my poors hydration.
- 24:48Speaker 2: It's insane anyway.
- 24:50Speaker 3: But no, I'm trying to make I totally fucking forgot. No, okay,
- 24:54Speaker 3: is whenever I go to the McDonald's. Good. This is
- 24:56Speaker 3: happened a couple of times. Will you do the rewards
- 24:59Speaker 3: thing because everyone's everyone's got the apps on their phone now, right,
- 25:01Speaker 3: the apps on their phones, and ship it goes hey guy,
- 25:05Speaker 3: you know, guy, I get the you know, do you
- 25:06Speaker 3: are you? It's always that automated voice, which pisses me
- 25:09Speaker 3: off because it always.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Said, Hey, welcome to McDonald's.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Will you be using your app rewards today?
- 25:18Speaker 2: Right? That's my favorite thing, and they cut it off
- 25:20Speaker 2: halfway through. Hi, welcome to Hey, what can I get
- 25:22Speaker 2: for you?
- 25:26Speaker 4: The worst is when you start responding to the AI
- 25:29Speaker 4: and you don't get anything, and then another person comes
- 25:32Speaker 4: in and it's like, well.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I just told your robots whatever wanted. What's the point
- 25:38Speaker 2: of this.
- 25:39Speaker 3: But there's a few times r that they've been like, hey,
- 25:41Speaker 3: here's the rewards number for the coupon what we're using.
- 25:44Speaker 3: And then and I mean, you know, his name is
- 25:47Speaker 3: Jose He's I've talked to a couple of times. He's
- 25:49Speaker 3: a pretty nice guy. And then he goes, oh, what's up, Chuck,
- 25:51Speaker 3: And I'm like, son a bitch and he goes like,
- 25:55Speaker 3: look what's up. Just times he's like, uh, we're doing uh,
- 25:58Speaker 3: we're doing the quarter pound or the McDonald all today
- 26:00Speaker 3: and I'm like, fuck, I know I lost some, but
- 26:09Speaker 3: I mean I mean, if this is the way to
- 26:11Speaker 3: the happy, not order the food, well, you fucking sold me.
- 26:16Speaker 2: That's a great customer service.
- 26:18Speaker 3: Yeah, make you feel like a fat fuck You know
- 26:20Speaker 3: what I'm gonna get. Shut up. I know I gotta
- 26:22Speaker 3: foot the ribs. I need to get out a spicy Michucken.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Man.
- 26:28Speaker 2: And then he's like, hey, how was your trip to
- 26:30Speaker 2: Walmart or whatever? It's like, how do you know my location? Oh?
- 26:33Speaker 2: We got everything on you, bud.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean we know you come here every time
- 26:36Speaker 3: you go to Jewel, then Target. We know we were
- 26:38Speaker 3: your third step in your grocery on your grocery trip. Hey,
- 26:42Speaker 3: give me two seconds. I gotta got the ribs.
- 26:44Speaker 2: It's gonna take longer than two seconds.
- 26:46Speaker 3: I won't take that one.
- 26:49Speaker 2: You're not that fast.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Hey, I'm fast as fun boy.
- 26:56Speaker 6: He's lightning clean. Chow good chow. All right, you're just
- 27:07Speaker 6: here along with me.
- 27:09Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 27:11Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 27:13Speaker 4: Gotta say that double cheeseburger from McDonald's looks pretty good
- 27:18Speaker 4: on you right now.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Well, those fries are hot.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Oh, be careful, you don't bring your little fingers. It's
- 27:28Speaker 4: okay if you get hurt eating fries. I mean that's
- 27:33Speaker 4: part of the fun, isn't it.
- 27:35Speaker 2: You know.
- 27:37Speaker 4: You're going to McDonald's. You know what you're in for.
- 27:43Speaker 4: It's kind of like self harm in a way. So
- 27:44Speaker 4: what some grease burns?
- 27:49Speaker 2: Does that really matter?
- 27:52Speaker 4: We can all make better choices, but sometimes life is hard, man.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Sometimes you just want the comfort of a little fast food,
- 27:58Speaker 4: little burger wrapped up ready for you know, what's your
- 28:00Speaker 4: name on it?
- 28:02Speaker 2: You'm sure they might spell your name wrong or.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Put a completely different name on there, but you know what,
- 28:10Speaker 4: that's just part of capitalism, baby. They got things on
- 28:13Speaker 4: demand that the rest of the world looks at us
- 28:16Speaker 4: and it's like, you got that right there, why do
- 28:21Speaker 4: you need more? And maybe they're right. Sometimes a little cheeseburger,
- 28:29Speaker 4: quick and easy. Sometimes it helps us deal with some
- 28:33Speaker 4: of the bullshit. You know, the world's on fire right now,
- 28:37Speaker 4: though the people eat cheeseburgers. That's my two sons, that's
- 28:44Speaker 4: my two sons. That's my little take on it. And
- 28:48Speaker 4: he's coming back.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Don't tell me I said that. You get to bed,
- 28:55Speaker 2: to go to your bed.
- 28:57Speaker 3: The dog, oh, such a dude, little dude should name
- 29:05Speaker 3: you a little dude, I'm just kidding anyway. But yes,
- 29:08Speaker 3: the point being diet coke.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Back on track, back on.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Track, No, I and I think the point was is
- 29:16Speaker 3: like is sometimes when I go to a certain place,
- 29:18Speaker 3: like you get these like weird weird Jesus, you get.
- 29:21Speaker 2: These very things happening on the telephone.
- 29:25Speaker 3: You get these weird cravings like I don't know why,
- 29:31Speaker 3: Like no, for some reason, every time I drive to
- 29:35Speaker 3: uh Okay, that taco place that we went with you
- 29:39Speaker 3: and Roger Tree too, Like every time I drive, I
- 29:43Speaker 3: should you not? We literally had dinner there last night.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Every time we drive by there or it's Tuesday for
- 29:50Speaker 3: gold thusday, they're always in my mind and it's like
- 29:54Speaker 3: but we had, like well no tacos.
- 30:00Speaker 2: No.
- 30:00Speaker 3: But anytime I walk by the fridge at my work,
- 30:04Speaker 3: the venue machine, there's just like there's all the here's
- 30:07Speaker 3: like the thing that drinks our work gets It's like
- 30:10Speaker 3: how who is drinking all these There's like too much.
- 30:13Speaker 3: There's there's coke brands, Pepsi brands. Uh, there's monsters, there's
- 30:17Speaker 3: Dunkin Donuts. It's like it's like holy shit. Well, I
- 30:20Speaker 3: mean we're in manufacturing side, so we have a lot
- 30:22Speaker 3: of people, right, But I'm like, holy crap, like who's
- 30:24Speaker 3: buying all this stuff? And sure is ship for some reason,
- 30:27Speaker 3: it's not like it's in the center, it's it's at
- 30:30Speaker 3: the it's in the second to last bottom row, a
- 30:32Speaker 3: little to the left. For some reason, what's the one
- 30:35Speaker 3: can always catches my eye? It's that little silver bullet can.
- 30:37Speaker 3: It's not the real The little silver can's always glistening.
- 30:40Speaker 3: And I always go, oh, yes, I know you're next to
- 30:45Speaker 3: a coke can, you're next to Mount du But no,
- 30:47Speaker 3: I must have you. I just don't.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 30:51Speaker 4: It's interesting because it's it's you know, obviously it's not
- 30:54Speaker 4: the flavor, because that doesn't taste like Coca cola to me.
- 30:58Speaker 2: I have had a diet coca. It's definitely different. But
- 31:02Speaker 2: it's not bad.
- 31:03Speaker 4: And it you know, you know, there's a there's a
- 31:05Speaker 4: couple like qualifying things like, well, we know this is
- 31:08Speaker 4: technically healthier because it's not as much sugar. You know,
- 31:12Speaker 4: a regular can of coke is like way more sugar
- 31:14Speaker 4: than you need in a day.
- 31:16Speaker 2: More or less. I'm not I'm not checking the facts.
- 31:18Speaker 2: I don't need to google it. But it's also like
- 31:23Speaker 2: you could do way, you could do way worse than
- 31:25Speaker 2: drinking a Coca cola.
- 31:27Speaker 4: What I'm saying is like, and there's that level of justification,
- 31:31Speaker 4: but there's also like the uniqueness of a flavor profile
- 31:34Speaker 4: that like is familiar but not you know, there's a
- 31:37Speaker 4: novelty of it. There's also like, you know, we as
- 31:42Speaker 4: human beings, like it's hard for us to replace like
- 31:44Speaker 4: just cut stuff off cold turkey, right, So there's probably
- 31:47Speaker 4: like a level of like I'm replacing something I know
- 31:51Speaker 4: is unhealthy, but it's obviously like really motivating for me
- 31:55Speaker 4: to to to partake in with something that I know
- 31:59Speaker 4: is healthy here with something that like fits the same
- 32:02Speaker 4: profile of.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Of you know, it's a carbonated beverage soda.
- 32:07Speaker 4: It's got that little the sort of herbal notes that
- 32:10Speaker 4: coca cola has, and uh, you know, so there's that
- 32:15Speaker 4: you know, So you know, Chuck, I don't think I
- 32:17Speaker 4: don't think it's a problem.
- 32:19Speaker 2: I think you're you're good. Like, just don't become a
- 32:22Speaker 2: diet coke person. You're posting about it. Here's my daily
- 32:26Speaker 2: dang coke.
- 32:26Speaker 3: You just don't you want me to be like less
- 32:28Speaker 3: Grossman from Traffic.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Thunder yeah, No, don't fucking diet coke.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Yeah no, but like kind of here's here's what I
- 32:40Speaker 3: was kind of going back to to a little bit.
- 32:42Speaker 3: It's like, uh, you know, trying new things. Like like
- 32:47Speaker 3: I said, like my wife and I we've we've been
- 32:49Speaker 3: like doing like cooking. Like what we've been doing now
- 32:50Speaker 3: is everything Thursday Night's day night. That's been really enjoy
- 32:54Speaker 3: And then what we've been trying, like obviously it's like
- 32:56Speaker 3: you know, it's you know, it's you should go on dates.
- 32:58Speaker 3: It's healthy, it's fun, try new things, and the what
- 33:02Speaker 3: the is my cad doing? Get out of here, weirdo. Sorry,
- 33:07Speaker 3: And we've been trying these what we were trying to do,
- 33:11Speaker 3: we've been trying to go to all these new restaurants
- 33:13Speaker 3: that we we haven't been to. Like we've been in
- 33:16Speaker 3: this area where we've been living here now for four years,
- 33:18Speaker 3: which is crazy to say, and there's restaurants right next
- 33:21Speaker 3: Like there's like restaurants right next to the spots that
- 33:24Speaker 3: we've been going to for years. Like we've we've always like, oh,
- 33:26Speaker 3: we should try it, and like no, we're like no,
- 33:27Speaker 3: fuck it, Like yeah, we are we risking we go
- 33:30Speaker 3: have a shitty meal. Yeah, but here's the thing. They've
- 33:33Speaker 3: all been too good to the point where I go,
- 33:37Speaker 3: how much that costs?
- 33:39Speaker 2: Oh?
- 33:40Speaker 3: Okay, sure, Like here's like, and you know this about me,
- 33:50Speaker 3: I'll eat anything except my cat food or my cat's
- 33:55Speaker 3: cat food. You know he's pissing me off. May eat
- 33:57Speaker 3: his catfood to piss him off. Sorry, I'll eat anything
- 34:01Speaker 3: him that'll show him a little fucker.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Wow, take that, bitch.
- 34:11Speaker 3: I do not eat fish in the winter. I don't
- 34:15Speaker 3: like it. I think it's like, hey, we're in the
- 34:17Speaker 3: middle of the friking country. It's gonna be a lot
- 34:20Speaker 3: most of it's gonna be frozen. Sure, you might catch
- 34:22Speaker 3: some fish from Lake Michigan. You can have some fish
- 34:24Speaker 3: with ice fishing. But like, I'm not stupid. I don't
- 34:27Speaker 3: know why when we're in Florida, I don't know. Oh,
- 34:32Speaker 3: here's a fun story. Okay, I'll talk about this before.
- 34:36Speaker 3: I was having a moment. I think it's good for
- 34:39Speaker 3: people to talk. And I kind of like said, I've
- 34:40Speaker 3: alluded to like some of the things that's going on
- 34:41Speaker 3: with me in the last year and a half or so,
- 34:43Speaker 3: and like what so I was having a moment. We're
- 34:48Speaker 3: in Florida. Okay, long story short, we transferred from one
- 34:52Speaker 3: hotel to another. That's just the waification was going. It
- 34:55Speaker 3: was fine, there was We've done that. We've done it
- 34:57Speaker 3: a hundred times before. I did a thing where they
- 35:01Speaker 3: can transfer your luggage. You give them reservation, they give
- 35:05Speaker 3: you a ticket with a number and all this stuff.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Great cool. I was having a moment, okay, because we
- 35:12Speaker 3: give our luggage to them. We're like, hey, we're not
- 35:14Speaker 3: gonna go to the hotel because we can't check it yet.
- 35:16Speaker 3: We're gonna go around and explore. I mean, hell, you've
- 35:18Speaker 3: been there, We've done that. You go around to the hotels,
- 35:20Speaker 3: you explore, you see things, you try new foods, drinks
- 35:23Speaker 3: and all that stuff. We went to this hotel called
- 35:25Speaker 3: the Grand Floridian. Patrick knows a hotel well, because well
- 35:28Speaker 3: that's where he gave a nice speech because I got
- 35:31Speaker 3: married there.
- 35:33Speaker 4: I might have been a drunk and might have had sunstroke.
- 35:37Speaker 4: We don't know for sure.
- 35:39Speaker 3: I think we all had a little sunstroke that day.
- 35:43Speaker 2: The mine showed anyway.
- 35:47Speaker 3: They had they had a new bar in the center lobby.
- 35:50Speaker 3: It was really fucking good. So I had a couple
- 35:52Speaker 3: of cocktails libations while so I booked. I booked my
- 35:58Speaker 3: wife and I and our her sister joined us later
- 36:01Speaker 3: in the evening for dinner a very nice restaurant. Because
- 36:04Speaker 3: I'm like, you know what, we've been talking about doing
- 36:05Speaker 3: this for years. We're gonna trade ourselves. So I want
- 36:09Speaker 3: to preface this really quick because Patrick has been in
- 36:12Speaker 3: this hotel, so this probably explains my anger. And yes,
- 36:14Speaker 3: I know, wait, how is this about food? I'm getting
- 36:16Speaker 3: to it.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Be patient, relax.
- 36:21Speaker 3: How Caitlin looks lovely as always, dressed up. You know,
- 36:27Speaker 3: she's got like it's it's it's a little warm. It's
- 36:29Speaker 3: a little cooler, not too cool, but not warm where
- 36:32Speaker 3: you can like have like, you know, like a cutoff
- 36:33Speaker 3: and stuff like that.
- 36:34Speaker 2: You know.
- 36:35Speaker 3: So she's like dressed to go to dinner. Mm hmmm,
- 36:38Speaker 3: because she's like, I don't know when we're gonna get back.
- 36:40Speaker 3: I'd rather just get back. Charlie can get ready.
- 36:42Speaker 2: And then we go to dinner. Cool.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Excuse me, I'm in a cutoff shocking. Actually, I take
- 36:49Speaker 3: it back. I'm in a long sleeve tight shirt because
- 36:51Speaker 3: I got my ascles gotta show.
- 36:53Speaker 2: My arms at the show off the guns.
- 36:55Speaker 3: I'm in I'm wearing crocs and I'm why my swim
- 37:00Speaker 3: suit which at the time, because I lost my nice swimsuit,
- 37:03Speaker 3: I couldn't find it. I found it eventually was my
- 37:05Speaker 3: cheap swimsuit, which is a light blue swimsuit which a
- 37:08Speaker 3: bunch with a bunch of bananas on it.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Sick fuck yeah.
- 37:12Speaker 3: And I'm sitting in the lobby of the Grand Floating Hotel.
- 37:15Speaker 4: So you're just missing the back the sunglasses on backwards
- 37:18Speaker 4: and like uh.
- 37:20Speaker 3: And the cut off shirt and the little sunscreened my nose.
- 37:22Speaker 3: So anyway, we're in this really nice hotel lobby. We're
- 37:25Speaker 3: just enjoying the We're just enjoying the libations. Eventually, they
- 37:27Speaker 3: actually have a piano on the center floor. The guy
- 37:29Speaker 3: comes in and starts playing music. Oh wow, people start
- 37:32Speaker 3: gathered around. So more were people. So you know there's
- 37:35Speaker 3: one thing in this center lobby that's not like the other. Well,
- 37:40Speaker 3: they really sticking out. So it's around the time we're
- 37:43Speaker 3: supposed to check in and I'm like, hey, we're having
- 37:46Speaker 3: a good time. Let me call to make sure our
- 37:48Speaker 3: luggage got delivered. Sue, what's our tour? And then you know,
- 37:53Speaker 3: you know I always tip you should always tip. Those
- 37:55Speaker 3: people especially always tip. And it's a great, it's a great.
- 38:01Speaker 3: It's great, dude, very good, very good for the soul.
- 38:04Speaker 3: And I'm like, let me get from our luggage and
- 38:05Speaker 3: I'll have ourluggage liver to our room.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Call them.
- 38:07Speaker 3: We don't have your luggage, sir, where is it? We
- 38:10Speaker 3: have no fucking idea. They didn't say that, and I'm like, uh,
- 38:16Speaker 3: what the shit? And long story short, the person that
- 38:20Speaker 3: I gave my luggage to was a very nice gentleman. However,
- 38:23Speaker 3: according to the person I spoke with at my hotel
- 38:26Speaker 3: who spoiler eventually found my luggage at a completely different hotel,
- 38:30Speaker 3: who has some really fucking shitty handwriting, they said one
- 38:34Speaker 3: of those words. I'm not gonna say which one, but
- 38:38Speaker 3: I will tell you. When they said that, I started
- 38:40Speaker 3: laughing and they go, sir, it has been adet and
- 38:43Speaker 3: yours is a cherry on top. And I'm like, I
- 38:44Speaker 3: appreciate that. So in the preface of all this, I'm
- 38:48Speaker 3: heaving a moment because I'm like, they lost our luggage,
- 38:51Speaker 3: they lost my golf clubs, they lost they lost because
- 38:53Speaker 3: I brought my golf clubs down. They lost Caitlin's stuff
- 38:57Speaker 3: that she got from her run, her medals. They lost
- 38:59Speaker 3: all this, They lost all that because you're the thing man,
- 39:02Speaker 3: Like you know, it's like, hey, your think shit happens
- 39:04Speaker 3: stuff like that. We've been we've had experiences down there
- 39:07Speaker 3: a couple of times things happen, but we don't. It's like, hey,
- 39:10Speaker 3: you control the control. But it's like when they lose
- 39:13Speaker 3: your shit, it's like that's a problem. Long story story.
- 39:17Speaker 3: I'm having a moment like I'm read, I'm flairing, I'm
- 39:20Speaker 3: flaring up, I'm huffing and puffing. So we go to
- 39:23Speaker 3: my wife, being very smart and you know, being the adult,
- 39:28Speaker 3: we go to this uh clothing store. Now keep mind
- 39:32Speaker 3: the hotel we're in. My friend. You know me, I
- 39:35Speaker 3: don't like buying anything that's more than ten bucks for clothes.
- 39:40Speaker 2: I can't imagine.
- 39:41Speaker 3: I'm so mad. I'm not shitting. She gets me these
- 39:45Speaker 3: and I still wear it. She gets me these really
- 39:46Speaker 3: nice dress pants and this really nice quarter zip. I
- 39:50Speaker 3: buy it, no question. I'm like, fuck it, I don't care.
- 39:52Speaker 3: And I then I like literally rumped the price. I'm like, oh,
- 39:55Speaker 3: still bought it. Reason that I'm going to fish Now
- 39:59Speaker 3: there is a very nice gentleman there. He could see
- 40:01Speaker 3: I was having a bad day. Long story short, he
- 40:05Speaker 3: heard Caitlyn Minhall. We're going for dinner and the guy
- 40:07Speaker 3: literally comes up to me and he goes, you gotta
- 40:09Speaker 3: try the soul. Like what And he goes, you gotta
- 40:12Speaker 3: try the soul like like like of course, I'm like,
- 40:16Speaker 3: but the I don't. I don't know what that is
- 40:17Speaker 3: is I'm fucking stupid. He's like, no, it's fish. And
- 40:20Speaker 3: I'm like and explained, and I'm explaining like, look, I
- 40:22Speaker 3: know him in Florida. I just I don't eat fish
- 40:25Speaker 3: in the winter because unless it's I'm like, let's run
- 40:28Speaker 3: the literally on the water line, I don't do it.
- 40:30Speaker 3: And he of it goes are you? He goes, are guys?
- 40:32Speaker 3: He goes you guys from the Chicago And I'm like yeah,
- 40:34Speaker 3: and he goes like, well, I'm from Minnesota, trust me
- 40:37Speaker 3: eat the fish. I'm like, oh, okay, I think I've
- 40:40Speaker 3: had soul now three times.
- 40:42Speaker 2: That's all you have to sailor.
- 40:44Speaker 3: But I know, hey, but either hider holder. Yeah, I'm
- 40:47Speaker 3: not joking. As one of the best I've ever had
- 40:49Speaker 3: in my life, so much so that when we went
- 40:51Speaker 3: to a restaurant in Highwood. Now, getting back to the
- 40:53Speaker 3: point every I referred to twenty minutes ago, we went
- 40:57Speaker 3: to this really nice French like it was like a
- 41:01Speaker 3: French italian Ish style rush. It's like it was mostly French,
- 41:04Speaker 3: but they had like a little hints of Italian excuse me,
- 41:08Speaker 3: and literally on the menu for one of the specials
- 41:11Speaker 3: was the soulfish, and can gives me the look She's like,
- 41:14Speaker 3: you're gonna try and I'm like, ah, Like, I'm like, okay,
- 41:17Speaker 3: I'm not in Florida.
- 41:18Speaker 2: I'm in Chicago.
- 41:19Speaker 3: It's February, Like, do I really And I'm not joking, dude.
- 41:22Speaker 3: It was one of the best misery in my life.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 41:25Speaker 3: Point being forty five minutes later, Don't be afraid to
- 41:28Speaker 3: try new things. Don't be afraid to go to travel
- 41:31Speaker 3: to try new things. Don't don't be afraid to leave
- 41:34Speaker 3: Indiana for a minute to go get a spicy chicken.
- 41:38Speaker 3: I'm gonna take that back.
- 41:39Speaker 6: That was me, Okay, okay, you.
- 41:43Speaker 4: Know, but there's a big difference between like traveling across
- 41:45Speaker 4: state lines for like soulfish and traveling across state lines
- 41:49Speaker 4: for the McDonald's spicy McChicken my guy, like I look.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Look, look, look look like my wife.
- 41:58Speaker 4: My wife and I traveled to Chicago, like I think
- 42:01Speaker 4: it was two years ago for my birthday, just about
- 42:04Speaker 4: two years at this point, and uh yeah, we tried
- 42:06Speaker 4: some good stuff, Like we went to some specific places
- 42:09Speaker 4: that she had picked out and it was really fucking good,
- 42:12Speaker 4: and so like, yeah, there's places that I would I
- 42:14Speaker 4: would try again if I'm in the area, you know.
- 42:19Speaker 2: But I think I think.
- 42:23Speaker 4: Maybe being motivated by a spice of my chicken is
- 42:25Speaker 4: uh not where I'm at.
- 42:26Speaker 2: In life, you know.
- 42:27Speaker 4: But but to say to say to your point, like
- 42:31Speaker 4: trying new things like yeah, you gotta go out, and
- 42:33Speaker 4: especially when we're talking about meals and dining with friends,
- 42:37Speaker 4: like there's not I could I would be hard pressed
- 42:40Speaker 4: to say no to anything, you know, any novel experience,
- 42:43Speaker 4: especially when it comes to dining trying new things, like
- 42:47Speaker 4: you know, Rogerter and I we went with some friends
- 42:51Speaker 4: to Korean barbecue and hot pot place and that just
- 42:55Speaker 4: opened up in town and it's fucking all you can
- 42:57Speaker 4: eat and it's amazing. I've never done how I've never
- 43:00Speaker 4: done the kream barbecue thing, but like I've wanted to
- 43:03Speaker 4: try it for a long time, and lo and behold
- 43:05Speaker 4: there's a place opening up in my backyard and we've
- 43:08Speaker 4: been there three times now. It's kind of been insane,
- 43:13Speaker 4: but it's worth every penny, but it is. It is
- 43:17Speaker 4: a pretty penny and to boot you know, if you
- 43:21Speaker 4: do come down, and I hope you come down soon
- 43:22Speaker 4: so we can try it. They don't they aren't charging
- 43:25Speaker 4: for like wasted food, right, so like, oh, that's a
- 43:28Speaker 4: whole thing where it's like the first time you go,
- 43:32Speaker 4: you know, you don't know how to order, so you
- 43:34Speaker 4: like order a bunch of shit up front and you lose.
- 43:37Speaker 4: You run out of space on the fucking table because
- 43:39Speaker 4: like you're with three other people and everybody's ordering all
- 43:42Speaker 4: kinds of shit, and it's like, yeah, no, this was
- 43:44Speaker 4: way too much up front.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Because you got your little you got your electric.
- 43:53Speaker 4: Stove thing in front of you, and then you've got
- 43:54Speaker 4: an actual grill in the middle of the table and
- 43:56Speaker 4: you're like, man, that's a lot of shit to balance
- 43:57Speaker 4: all once. So you've developed a good stretch and you
- 44:00Speaker 4: know you don't have to do both. You can do
- 44:03Speaker 4: hot pot or the grill or both obviously, And yeah,
- 44:07Speaker 4: so like you got You got to find your flow
- 44:09Speaker 4: in your rhythm. But like trying that out and trying
- 44:11Speaker 4: different flavor combos, the different brass, the different meats, like,
- 44:15Speaker 4: it's all fucking a good time.
- 44:18Speaker 2: And I think that's what is so important in life.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Is going out and trying new things, experiencing new things,
- 44:24Speaker 4: especially when it's like from different parts of the world,
- 44:27Speaker 4: different cultures and different you know, different ways of doing things.
- 44:33Speaker 4: And I think that's what makes people more well rounded,
- 44:36Speaker 4: but also more open, and I think more kind in
- 44:40Speaker 4: general and more tolerant. And I think that in the
- 44:42Speaker 4: world today there's a lot of intolerance. And so if
- 44:45Speaker 4: you can gain tolerance and have a good meal at
- 44:48Speaker 4: the same time, guys, it's.
- 44:50Speaker 2: A win win.
- 44:50Speaker 4: We call it a win win a dub dub. If
- 44:52Speaker 4: you want to say it like that. You don't have
- 44:54Speaker 4: to say like that, but you could say like that
- 44:55Speaker 4: if you want to. We're open to it. We're tolerant
- 44:59Speaker 4: of how every want to say it.
- 45:02Speaker 2: And yeah, man, try the soul. You're gonna like it.
- 45:06Speaker 3: You're gonna like that, You're gonna like the way it tastes.
- 45:08Speaker 2: I guarantee it.
- 45:12Speaker 3: On that note, I needed to go get my ribs,
- 45:15Speaker 3: but that that's the kind of like the reason why
- 45:16Speaker 3: I brought up brother is like, yeah, I don't, like
- 45:20Speaker 3: I said, like, I've never I've never like not been
- 45:23Speaker 3: like too confident my cooking. I know I can cook
- 45:25Speaker 3: some things pretty well, but it's just like, for example,
- 45:28Speaker 3: all in with this, I know the ribs are done.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Ass wipe jesus.
- 45:31Speaker 3: I know, like I could have tricked the alarm off.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Sorry, well I let a little bit my sou So.
- 45:41Speaker 2: What kind of sauce are we doing? What kind of
- 45:42Speaker 2: sauce are you doing?
- 45:43Speaker 3: I'm an I'm an open pick guy, open bit barbecue.
- 45:47Speaker 3: That's my that's my jam. I know, I know there's
- 45:49Speaker 3: a pathther one.
- 45:50Speaker 2: I just it's too sweet for me. Honestly.
- 45:53Speaker 3: I'm gonna try some other ones though, because sometimes you
- 45:55Speaker 3: pick can be a little too spice. It depends on
- 45:56Speaker 3: the season. Anyway.
- 45:57Speaker 2: The point trying to be do some Korean barbecue.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I believe me, that's the one I know.
- 46:02Speaker 4: I want to get the gochu jong at the store
- 46:05Speaker 4: and make your own sauce with the go to jong.
- 46:09Speaker 3: But don't be afraid to try new things. Don't be afraid.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Don't be afraid to try things and fail because that's
- 46:14Speaker 3: the one thing I think I've had. That's the biggest
- 46:16Speaker 3: thing I've always had. The biggest prick I have when
- 46:18Speaker 3: it comes to my own eating habits is I be
- 46:20Speaker 3: too afraid to go to places and try new things,
- 46:22Speaker 3: which is probably why like a lot of times, like
- 46:24Speaker 3: when we go to places, I, oh, we'll go here,
- 46:25Speaker 3: like I'll just get the exact same thing. Like for example,
- 46:28Speaker 3: I was never as guy I don't get anything but tacos.
- 46:31Speaker 2: Now oh I.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Bro like, oh yeah, yeah, you know what I mean.
- 46:37Speaker 2: I even brought up on the duck side.
- 46:39Speaker 3: So on that note, yeah, don't be afraid to try
- 46:42Speaker 3: new things. Don't be afraid if you really want to.
- 46:44Speaker 3: If you really want something, go get it. Go get
- 46:47Speaker 3: that spicy so.
- 46:49Speaker 4: You know what, Yeah everything in moderation. Go have a
- 46:52Speaker 4: fancy meal, but also still stay true to yourself. Have
- 46:56Speaker 4: a mcdouble, have a spicy mc chicken.
- 46:58Speaker 3: It's okay if you have Think if you have the
- 47:00Speaker 3: things you like, enjoy them, but don't be afraid to
- 47:03Speaker 3: don't be afraid to expand your horizons.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Balance and Libra on that.
- 47:09Speaker 3: You can find us at Chuck's Cantina on your socials.
- 47:12Speaker 3: Chucks can't Gina, Gina? Who the fuck is Gina?
- 47:17Speaker 2: Gina?
- 47:18Speaker 4: Chucks Tina on your socials, dammit, Gaina.
- 47:24Speaker 2: See what the potty ripta?
- 47:26Speaker 3: As always, if you had any drinks like a certain
- 47:28Speaker 3: individual had this evening, be afraid to call a ride share,
- 47:31Speaker 3: call a friend, call a taxi, be smart, ride a bike.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Hell you know what, Sit down your knees, pretty guys.
- 47:36Speaker 3: Maybe maybe Chell, you a cord or hell fucking spirit
- 47:39Speaker 3: spiral will show up and fly home anyway safe. I'm
- 47:43Speaker 3: gonna eat some ribs. Patrick's gonna keep drinking his really
- 47:46Speaker 3: good as.
- 47:47Speaker 2: So gonna make you one.
- 47:48Speaker 4: When you come down, you better drink drinks and we'll
- 47:50Speaker 4: go to Korean barbecue.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Man, Come out, come out, come.
- 47:55Speaker 3: Be smart, stay safe, say something nice to somebody, As
- 47:58Speaker 3: a punter once said, you might change your life. And
- 48:00Speaker 3: on that note, you want fries with that, take care
- 48:02Speaker 3: of my my now oh m hm, my rooms are
- 48:07Speaker 3: partie
