- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's TLC Tuesday. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: here with Kimberly.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Hello.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Hello.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Okay. Oh wait, she's trying. She's trying.
- 0:23Speaker 4: Did you see the video I sent you on Instagram?
- 0:26Speaker 1: You know what? Right when he was about to tell
- 0:29Speaker 1: us She sent me a video about a guy doing
- 0:32Speaker 1: an Australian accent. Right when he was about to get
- 0:35Speaker 1: to the point of when he was going to explain it,
- 0:37Speaker 1: it went to your next reel. And I was like,
- 0:41Speaker 1: so I had to click it. And so, no. I
- 0:43Speaker 1: got to him saying, it's not an R. It's not
- 0:46Speaker 1: an R. Yeah.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I mean, I still think that sounds better than what
- 0:51Speaker 2: we were doing before we started doing the R. But
- 0:56Speaker 2: he says it's a R. Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, a, Oh, a.
- 1:05Speaker 2: So you're supposed to make an O a, but keep
- 1:08Speaker 2: your lips smiling. I don't know.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It seemed like.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Three different movements at the same time, like patting your
- 1:14Speaker 2: stomach and your head.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I can't do that.
- 1:16Speaker 2: It was very challenging. Um, but I appreciate the listener
- 1:20Speaker 2: that sent it. Uh, don't know if it's going to work.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I said I would keep practicing. I probably won't. Um,
- 1:28Speaker 2: Let us know how important accents are for you. How
- 1:33Speaker 2: much time should we put into this?
- 1:35Speaker 1: Or do you just.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Want to hear the recap and you couldn't care less
- 1:38Speaker 2: about the accents?
- 1:40Speaker 1: Please, please don't do the accents. If there was a poll,
- 1:44Speaker 1: they're all just smashing it. Yeah, you sent me the thing,
- 1:49Speaker 1: but it was like, this person was like, I'm so
- 1:53Speaker 1: interested in this because nobody else in the world does
- 1:56Speaker 1: this particular thing. sound and people get it wrong all
- 1:59Speaker 1: the time. I was like, yeah, I felt targeted. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 1: This week on our notes, it's heavy on the Kimberly
- 2:09Speaker 1: because we had a new couple this week. And I
- 2:11Speaker 1: would say next week, it'll be heavy on me, but
- 2:13Speaker 1: it won't because I'll be out of town. It'll be
- 2:15Speaker 1: heavy on you because you're doing all the notes. So
- 2:19Speaker 1: I know. Thank you so much. I'm getting very excited
- 2:22Speaker 1: about my trip. And I really appreciate all the hard
- 2:25Speaker 1: work that you and Keisha are going to put in Well,
- 2:27Speaker 1: I'm gone. Yeah, in advance.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Hopefully we do put in hard work.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Keisha's already said, like, you've got some sort of, like,
- 2:36Speaker 1: logo that you're going to put up that somebody made.
- 2:38Speaker 2: What, really?
- 2:40Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I thought we were joking about the logo because you
- 2:45Speaker 2: vetoed that really quick in our live. You were not
- 2:50Speaker 2: happy to hear that we were going to take over
- 2:52Speaker 2: your logo.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Whitney, the cookie lady, apparently sent Keisha a logo. Now,
- 3:00Speaker 1: whether she sent it to you, I don't know. But
- 3:02Speaker 1: she said you're going to put it up on the screen.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So she's going to have to send it to you
- 3:05Speaker 1: if she wants that to happen.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Maybe it's in my Instagram and I haven't seen it yet.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it could be. So Whitney, the cookie lady, you know,
- 3:13Speaker 1: I thought we were friends, but I guess you're just.
- 3:17Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. I don't care. Yeah, you're a traitor.
- 3:20Speaker 1: But it'll be fine. Everything you guys are going to
- 3:22Speaker 1: do is going to be great. I get to go
- 3:23Speaker 1: out of town. It's wonderful. I'm still waiting to hear
- 3:25Speaker 1: back from Jessie. She's going to get back to me
- 3:27Speaker 1: to meet her up in Tuscany. Now, here's something I
- 3:33Speaker 1: have to say because I won't get a chance to
- 3:35Speaker 1: talk about it anywhere else. It is that I went
- 3:37Speaker 1: and saw You Can See Everything.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Don't ruin anything because I haven't seen it yet.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I'm not going to ruin anything. I'm just going to
- 3:46Speaker 1: say get the, to your theater.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yeah. And I think even if I did say this
- 3:53Speaker 1: or that, because like I said, Heather McDonald said one
- 3:55Speaker 1: thing that I thought was going to ruin it for me,
- 3:57Speaker 1: but it didn't. Um, because it, it wasn't like a twist.
- 4:02Speaker 1: It was like a huge part that just kind of
- 4:03Speaker 1: continued on through, but, uh, it's, you really do leave
- 4:11Speaker 1: there thinking like, okay, well, which one of these three
- 4:17Speaker 1: people are crazy or all three of them are crazy.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Like is Nathan Fielder crazy? Is he the manipulator? Is
- 4:24Speaker 1: Elizabeth Holmes the manipulator? Is her new husband a manipulator
- 4:28Speaker 1: and crazy? The answer there is 100%. Yes. There's literally
- 4:31Speaker 1: no other outcome that could happen other than her husband
- 4:34Speaker 1: is something ain't right. And it could be, um, but, uh,
- 4:42Speaker 1: it could be, but, um, It was mind blowing. And
- 4:46Speaker 1: so Dave went and saw it with me and he,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you know, he knows the story of like what Elizabeth
- 4:51Speaker 1: Holmes did in the same sense, like he knows about
- 4:53Speaker 1: Enron or whatever, you know, but he just like, he
- 4:56Speaker 1: definitely didn't listen to the podcast. He definitely didn't see
- 4:58Speaker 1: the Hulu documentary. He didn't see that other documentary that
- 5:01Speaker 1: was with the, um, called last blood or whatever it
- 5:04Speaker 1: was called that was with all the former employees. So
- 5:08Speaker 1: he didn't know any of that. And he was just
- 5:12Speaker 1: mind blown by the whole thing. Mind blown by the
- 5:14Speaker 1: whole thing. Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 2: So he was into it.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Very.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Great.
- 5:20Speaker 1: And so for people that have seen it, I know now,
- 5:23Speaker 1: Amanda from Little Miss Recap has seen it. Christian Gray Snow,
- 5:27Speaker 1: my friend who's the Instagram guy who has the podcast
- 5:30Speaker 1: with Vicki Gumbelson, they have seen it. So now they
- 5:35Speaker 1: are getting my wrath of just so many things. I'm
- 5:37Speaker 1: sending them and they're sending me things because we're like,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you've got to have somebody to talk to about it.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Right, right. And that's why I feel like I'm missing
- 5:44Speaker 2: out is because I haven't seen it yet. It feels
- 5:47Speaker 2: like I'm not part of society and have been shunned
- 5:50Speaker 2: from society kind of.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Right.
- 5:52Speaker 1: But so many people are like scrambling to try to
- 5:54Speaker 1: go see it so that they don't get this, you know,
- 5:56Speaker 1: because you like, I panic that some spoiler is going
- 5:58Speaker 1: to come my way. I know.
- 6:00Speaker 2: And I didn't even realize that there would be spoilers
- 6:03Speaker 2: until people started talking about spoilers. And then I talked
- 6:05Speaker 2: to my aunt yesterday who is like 85 years old.
- 6:09Speaker 2: And she told me she saw it and then she
- 6:11Speaker 2: said something and I was like, was that a spoiler?
- 6:16Speaker 2: I don't know what she's talking about, but I think
- 6:19Speaker 2: she might, maybe she was just confused, but maybe it
- 6:23Speaker 2: was a spoiler. So I don't, I don't know. I'm
- 6:25Speaker 2: going to see it hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday and then
- 6:27Speaker 2: I'll be able to talk about it.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah. So we did, that's what we did. And
- 6:31Speaker 1: I mean, I have to tell you that was like
- 6:33Speaker 1: a perfect birthday present to go to a movie and
- 6:35Speaker 1: then go to dinner and talk about the movie. That
- 6:37Speaker 1: just makes me so happy. Yeah. Great. Um, so everybody
- 6:41Speaker 1: goes see it. And if you do, then DM me
- 6:43Speaker 1: on Instagram and tell me your thoughts. I did just
- 6:45Speaker 1: see another person said they went and saw it a
- 6:47Speaker 1: second time watching it through a different lens of maybe
- 6:52Speaker 1: this person's being manipulated, not this person. And what, and
- 6:56Speaker 1: try to like flip it in your mind. Like maybe what,
- 6:58Speaker 1: if this is what's really happening instead of what's on
- 7:01Speaker 1: the surface. So, um, Anyway, now I want to– because
- 7:04Speaker 1: I've been avoiding every article, every everything. So now I
- 7:07Speaker 1: want to see all the articles. I want to read everything.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So that's exciting for me. So everybody, go see it
- 7:14Speaker 1: and DM me and give it two days and then
- 7:17Speaker 1: also DM Kimberly if you've seen it because she's going
- 7:19Speaker 1: to see it in the next two days.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Yeah. But put spoiler alert first in case I don't
- 7:24Speaker 2: get my act together to go to the movies.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But please do.
- 7:29Speaker 4: I know.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I also just have a life. I want to get
- 7:32Speaker 2: my hair cut. I finally have a day off on Wednesday. Yeah.
- 7:36Speaker 2: That's my first day off in forever.
- 7:39Speaker 1: What's happening with your gorgeous hair? What are you going
- 7:42Speaker 1: to do?
- 7:43Speaker 2: I just want to cut it so long.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I've got to cut it. Are you going to cut
- 7:50Speaker 1: a lot or are you just going to do a
- 7:51Speaker 1: good trim? I don't know.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. And then I'm going to miss it
- 7:56Speaker 1: because I'm going to be out of town?
- 7:57Speaker 2: I don't know. Well, yeah. That's what happens.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I know.
- 8:01Speaker 2: That's what happens when you're a world traveler. You miss
- 8:03Speaker 2: important events in people's lives because you're too busy world traveling.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, you know, a lot of places people
- 8:11Speaker 1: wouldn't go right now would be Europe. But me, just
- 8:13Speaker 1: heading right over.
- 8:14Speaker 4: I love it.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Just so many protests. Just so many riots in the streets.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Well, it's not like here. It's so peaceful.
- 8:22Speaker 1: You know, that's true. That's true. But, you know, to
- 8:24Speaker 1: go to the grocery store, I don't have to worry
- 8:26Speaker 1: about somebody throwing like a firebomb at me.
- 8:28Speaker 4: But....
- 8:30Speaker 1: You know um well let's get into this show it
- 8:34Speaker 1: is 90 day the other way season eight episode four
- 8:39Speaker 1: schnapps on the rocks huh there i get it schnapps
- 8:47Speaker 1: i just heard i just heard the one um no
- 8:51Speaker 1: there i think there's two okay yeah Well, we are
- 8:55Speaker 1: going to start with our new couple who this. It's Michelle, 40,
- 8:59Speaker 1: from Dallas, Texas, and Felix, age 31, from Ghana. This
- 9:05Speaker 1: is you. And let's hear what you have to say
- 9:10Speaker 1: because I have a lot of thoughts.
- 9:12Speaker 2: He's kind of cute?
- 9:14Speaker 1: Uh-huh. Yeah, that's not my thought, though. Oh. I'm concerned
- 9:19Speaker 1: about his father. Oh, yeah.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Well, yeah. OK, so Michelle is in is 40 living
- 9:26Speaker 2: in Dallas, Texas. She flips cars for a living, which
- 9:29Speaker 2: I did not know was a job.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Me either.
- 9:32Speaker 2: And it's like flipping houses.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Right.
- 9:36Speaker 2: And she's under a car checking out the radiator. And
- 9:39Speaker 2: then she's at an auction where you bid on cars like.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Like that.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Yeah, just like that.
- 9:49Speaker 2: And then she says she's a hustler. She likes it fast.
- 9:52Speaker 2: She likes to make money.
- 9:53Speaker 4: And she has a best friend, Henry, who is African Nigerian,
- 9:58Speaker 4: I think.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I can't remember. I think they say it later. And
- 10:03Speaker 2: he that's like her best friend, like a brother. And
- 10:06Speaker 2: she loves the rush of bidding on a car. She
- 10:08Speaker 2: loves outbidding someone. It's a sickness, she said. Oh, she's
- 10:13Speaker 2: down with the sickness.
- 10:14Speaker 1: It's gambling.
- 10:15Speaker 2: She said, yep. It is. It's like gambling. So she's
- 10:19Speaker 2: an entrepreneur. She flips cars, electronics, anything that can be flipped,
- 10:23Speaker 2: she's flipping. Not pancakes, but anything else.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Interesting, right? I mean, I've just never, I mean, as
- 10:30Speaker 1: you know.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Broken, like stereo, fix it, resell it.
- 10:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I wonder if she's fixing all these things or, you
- 10:37Speaker 1: know what I mean? Like I love to flip a
- 10:39Speaker 1: handbag on the real, real. I love to get a
- 10:41Speaker 1: bag and Use it for a while and then flip
- 10:43Speaker 1: it over there. But are you doing.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Anything to make it better?
- 10:46Speaker 1: No.
- 10:46Speaker 2: I don't know if that's considered flipping then.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I'm doing things to make it worse. Yeah. I don't
- 10:50Speaker 1: think that's flipping.
- 10:53Speaker 2: That's not in the spirit of flipping.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right.
- 10:55Speaker 2: You're right.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Okay, sorry.
- 10:57Speaker 2: So she was very poor growing up. She started flipping
- 11:02Speaker 2: at 19 with a mobile home that she bought from
- 11:05Speaker 2: working at Denny's.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Wow.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Funny that I just said pancakes. I don't know if
- 11:09Speaker 2: that was a subconscious thing or not. Why?
- 11:13Speaker 1: Because you said flipping?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Because I said flipping pancakes. I said not pancakes, but
- 11:18Speaker 2: she'll flip anything else.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Oh, and then you said Denny's.
- 11:21Speaker 2: And then I said Denny's.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Okay, gotcha.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Sorry, we're so in sync today. She had her daughter
- 11:31Speaker 2: Kira at 20 years old. She worked so hard to
- 11:33Speaker 2: give her a better life. And then she and Henry
- 11:36Speaker 2: are towing the car that they bought. She is going
- 11:39Speaker 2: to Ghana on Friday. So she wants to get this
- 11:41Speaker 2: car flipped before she goes to Ghana. And Henry says,
- 11:44Speaker 2: you know, I moved down to Dallas so that we
- 11:46Speaker 2: could work together. And now you're moving to Ghana. And
- 11:49Speaker 2: she says, well, I fell in love with Felix. And
- 11:52Speaker 2: you know, I never trusted anyone before this. Like I
- 11:55Speaker 2: trust Felix for great reason. He's given many reasons to
- 12:01Speaker 2: trust him.
- 12:02Speaker 1: And it doesn't seem trustworthy to me.
- 12:04Speaker 2: No. So she says her love life has been a mess.
- 12:07Speaker 2: She normally has terrible taste in men, but for some
- 12:10Speaker 2: reason she thinks this is different. Everyone on this show,
- 12:14Speaker 2: my pickers broken, but now it's been fixed.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Right. She flipped my.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Picker and fixed it. But now this time when I'm
- 12:24Speaker 2: on TV show, this time it's different. And I have
- 12:26Speaker 2: great taste in men now. So she, uh, A year
- 12:32Speaker 2: and a half ago, she was flying to Nigeria to
- 12:34Speaker 2: meet Henry on vacation. And she had a layover in Ghana.
- 12:39Speaker 2: And a bartender started talking to her. And they started texting,
- 12:42Speaker 2: sending videos where he's dancing awkwardly with no shirt on.
- 12:46Speaker 2: He's a real awkward dancer. But he likes to dance.
- 12:49Speaker 1: So, yeah.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Go for it. Feel the rhythm inside your soul. And
- 12:54Speaker 2: she had just gotten out of a bad relationship. And
- 12:57Speaker 2: she pursued it, even though she maybe shouldn't have. And
- 13:01Speaker 2: she went to visit him for nine months. She ended
- 13:04Speaker 2: up staying because she was so happy there. He makes
- 13:07Speaker 2: her laugh. They lost weight together and got in shape together.
- 13:10Speaker 2: And then they went to church because his dad is
- 13:14Speaker 2: a preacher. And he, Henry, sorry, not Henry. What's his name? Felix.
- 13:20Speaker 2: He makes her better. And he makes her a better person.
- 13:24Speaker 2: So now she's moving there. More on that later if
- 13:27Speaker 2: you're confused about the timeline and why she left We're
- 13:30Speaker 2: going to get into it.
- 13:31Speaker 1: I'm confused as to how she just goes for a
- 13:33Speaker 1: visit and stays for nine months when she, nine months
- 13:35Speaker 1: when she fully has a, I don't know, whatever age
- 13:39Speaker 1: child and a business. Yeah.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Well, her daughter's 20, so she can do that.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I guess.
- 13:47Speaker 2: But still.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Not the 20-year-olds in this house, but I mean, that's just.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Like a rental in her apartment. Yeah, that's a good point.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:55Speaker 2: So, well, they still have phones in California. Ghana so
- 13:59Speaker 2: she can still like help them out like mom this
- 14:03Speaker 2: thing I don't I'm supposed to do this thing she
- 14:05Speaker 2: could still help.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Maybe maybe she lives there and she just took care
- 14:08Speaker 1: of the apartment and helped Henry with the flipping I don't.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Know right so Henry says I wish you all the
- 14:15Speaker 2: best but you can tell he's kind of annoyed and
- 14:18Speaker 2: I thought a little jealous but then I think he
- 14:21Speaker 2: might be with someone so it's unsure he she says
- 14:25Speaker 2: he fell in love and that's why he moved to
- 14:27Speaker 2: America From Nigeria, question mark.
- 14:31Speaker 1: So I'm sure- Wouldn't it be interesting if- Still with his,
- 14:35Speaker 1: in his life. Wouldn't it be interesting if the person
- 14:37Speaker 1: he fell in love with was her? Yeah, that would
- 14:41Speaker 1: be- And they used to be married or something, you know?
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yeah. So she says she fell in love with Ghana.
- 14:49Speaker 2: She loves the fresh fruit and the coconut water and
- 14:53Speaker 2: the sunshine and the beaches. And they have all of
- 14:56Speaker 2: those things in Texas, but- Except for maybe the coconut
- 15:01Speaker 2: water coming out of actual coconuts.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Yeah. And the pictures they were showing, you know, as
- 15:06Speaker 1: to demonstrate this didn't all look appealing to me, but
- 15:10Speaker 1: to each their own. Yeah. Yeah.
- 15:12Speaker 2: So she got an apartment and Felix moved in, in Ghana.
- 15:17Speaker 2: But Felix's dad has been texting her begging for money,
- 15:23Speaker 2: like $ 1, 500 at a time. or whatever she can spare.
- 15:28Speaker 2: And Henry says, how much have you sent sent to him?
- 15:31Speaker 2: And she says maybe 6,000, but I stopped, I'm not
- 15:35Speaker 2: doing it anymore. And this time when I go, things
- 15:38Speaker 2: will be different. So now we're getting into the real story.
- 15:41Speaker 2: So it started out great when she first moved to
- 15:44Speaker 2: Ghana and his family wasn't involved, but then slowly they
- 15:48Speaker 2: started creeping in and getting really involved. And Felix's dad
- 15:52Speaker 2: was making her very uncomfortable. And I thought it was
- 15:55Speaker 2: going to be sexual, but it was more like asking
- 16:01Speaker 2: for money and asking a lot of personal questions about
- 16:06Speaker 2: the relationship with Felix and asking for money behind Felix's back.
- 16:12Speaker 2: And she started to feel like she was being scammed
- 16:15Speaker 2: by the father. And she tells Henry, the dad is
- 16:19Speaker 2: obsessed with me. He had to know when I was
- 16:21Speaker 2: in the shower and When did I wake up? Did
- 16:24Speaker 2: I eat? And he wants to know about our sex life. Okay,
- 16:28Speaker 2: so maybe it is sexual.
- 16:29Speaker 1: It's weird. It's very weird.
- 16:31Speaker 2: It's weird. It's very weird. And Henry says, she says, like,
- 16:35Speaker 2: is that normal in African culture for a father-in-law to
- 16:38Speaker 2: ask about? And he's like, no, that is not a
- 16:40Speaker 2: normal thing in African culture. So she says the last
- 16:43Speaker 2: time she was there, they got into an argument. She
- 16:46Speaker 2: got into an argument with Felix. She said, I want
- 16:49Speaker 2: to leave. I'm leaving, going back to America tomorrow. The
- 16:52Speaker 2: next day, she woke up at 3 in the morning,
- 16:56Speaker 2: and she hears noises. She goes out into the living room,
- 16:59Speaker 2: and the kitchen and the living room are emptied out. Like,
- 17:02Speaker 2: the furniture's gone, the carpets, the kitchen appliances. They took
- 17:07Speaker 2: her blender. She went and found Felix, and he said,
- 17:11Speaker 2: it was my dad's idea. It was a prank.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Why? What's funny? I don't get it. Where's the ha-ha?
- 17:19Speaker 1: Where's the punchline?
- 17:20Speaker 2: No, there's... So she says, I think Felix is really
- 17:25Speaker 2: innocent in all this. It's his dad that's a bad influence.
- 17:29Speaker 2: And when she told Felix she was leaving, though, he
- 17:34Speaker 2: took her passport and ran away down the street. And
- 17:38Speaker 2: she had to fight to get her passport back. And
- 17:41Speaker 2: then she left.
- 17:43Speaker 1: And then she thought, I'm going to go back.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to go back. Felix is innocent, except
- 17:49Speaker 2: that he took the passport but she thinks it was
- 17:51Speaker 2: the dad controlling him telling him to take the passport
- 17:55Speaker 2: and to do these things.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Because the dad thought she was like a cash cow
- 18:01Speaker 1: yeah I guess maybe yeah I mean I can't figure
- 18:03Speaker 1: out why unless he wants to bang her too I
- 18:05Speaker 1: mean sex.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Life and right did she wake up yet or is
- 18:09Speaker 2: that because like go did she wake up go in
- 18:12Speaker 2: her purse while.
- 18:14Speaker 1: She's sleeping is it that kind of thing or he
- 18:17Speaker 1: thinks she's lazy I don't know.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Yeah Or I want to steal from her in the shower.
- 18:23Speaker 1: It's always the pastors, guys. It's always the pastors. Y'all,
- 18:32Speaker 1: I've been traveling like crazy lately. So I have to
- 18:35Speaker 1: be really judicious with what is in my bag. I
- 18:38Speaker 1: don't have all the space in the world and I
- 18:39Speaker 1: got to keep it lean and mean. So here's what
- 18:42Speaker 1: I have in my purse. Of course, I've got my
- 18:44Speaker 1: readers and my wallet and my keys, duh. But I
- 18:47Speaker 1: also have the Thrive Cosmetics Focus Eyeshadow Palette because I

- 20:32Speaker 1: All right, y'all, let's talk about being in the mood.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I mean, it's pretty hard to feel frisky when your
- 20:38Speaker 1: brain has 40 tabs open and four email boxes that
- 20:41Speaker 1: you're checking. Am I right? Well, luckily for us, Dame
- 20:44Speaker 1: made something exactly for that. You know, low desire isn't
- 20:48Speaker 1: usually a you problem. It's usually a stress problem. And
- 20:51Speaker 1: that is the idea behind Dame's Desire Gummies. The whole
- 20:55Speaker 1: routine with the gummies is this. You take three strawberry
- 20:58Speaker 1: mango gummies a day. And of all the things we
- 21:01Speaker 1: do for ourselves, this is the easiest self-care habit you
- 21:04Speaker 1: can pick up. And here's the science-y part, okay? Dame
- 21:08Speaker 1: didn't just cite ingredient research. They studied the actual gummy
- 21:12Speaker 1: on real women, and 85% reported increased desire in four weeks.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Dame did a four-week observational study run by a third-party
- 21:21Speaker 1: lab with 53 women aged 24 to 52 who reported
- 21:25Speaker 1: the low desire and stressful lifestyles. Now, the study participants
- 21:29Speaker 1: that reported improvement said they had increased sexual desire by 85%,
- 21:34Speaker 1: reduced stress and anxiety by 87%, and improved mood by 93%.
- 21:38Speaker 1: My gosh, y'all, if I could improve my mood by 93%,
- 21:43Speaker 1: you know, everybody in this house wins. And because it's
- 21:46Speaker 1: a daily ritual, Day makes it easy. You just subscribe,
- 21:50Speaker 1: and you'll save 15% on every order. It's delivered every
- 21:53Speaker 1: 20 days, and my code stacks on top of that code.
- 21:57Speaker 1: So you really do need to subscribe because it's a
- 21:59Speaker 1: daily supplement, and you definitely don't want to run out.
- 22:02Speaker 1: So if you want to see for yourself and get
- 22:04Speaker 1: 15% off these gummies, go to dame.com and use code PINKSHADE. Remember,
- 22:10Speaker 1: you can subscribe with the code PINKSHADE, and the discounts

- 22:23Speaker 1: off the desire gummies.
- 22:27Speaker 2: So it's never a drag queen. We'll say that. Henry
- 22:33Speaker 2: says she's ignoring the red flags. And there's a bunch
- 22:38Speaker 2: of red flags that he's seeing. So many red flags.
- 22:42Speaker 2: This is just shocking information.
- 22:44Speaker 1: By the way, I sent, I sent Keisha a bunch
- 22:46Speaker 1: of these. So good. But I think that she's never
- 22:50Speaker 1: taken them out of the box. So you might want
- 22:53Speaker 1: to remind her.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Okay.
- 22:54Speaker 1: These are my little red flags. Okay.
- 22:56Speaker 2: So Michelle says, it's not Felix, Henry. It's like the
- 23:00Speaker 2: dad has brainwashed Felix, which could be true. But again, I.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Just sometimes feel like it's this culture and you just
- 23:10Speaker 1: have to do what the parents say.
- 23:13Speaker 2: And is it worth it? Or maybe just say goodbye
- 23:15Speaker 2: to the whole family. If Felix is being this influenced
- 23:18Speaker 2: by his dad. So Felix told her he was sorry.
- 23:22Speaker 2: It won't happen again. She's going to give him another chance.
- 23:25Speaker 2: She just needs him this time to stand up to
- 23:27Speaker 2: his dad. And so then we're in Ghana and the
- 23:31Speaker 2: producers ask a random man, is it normal here for
- 23:35Speaker 2: a family to interfere in a marriage? And he says, yes.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I mean, your parents want what's best for you. You
- 23:40Speaker 2: bring them a woman and, And they tell you if
- 23:43Speaker 2: she's good or bad.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Great. Great. Sounds not misogynistic at all.
- 23:52Speaker 2: No, love it. Judge this woman that I'm bringing to you.
- 23:57Speaker 2: So we meet Felix and Felix is 31 years old.
- 24:01Speaker 2: So he is nine years younger than Michelle. And we
- 24:06Speaker 2: are at his dad's church and his dad is praying
- 24:09Speaker 2: over Felix. Felix, I thought was pretty cute. He plays
- 24:12Speaker 2: the keyboard at his dad's outdoor church. But right away,
- 24:16Speaker 2: musicians and church. I'm thinking of J.P.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Miller.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Yeah, me too. I'm not liking it. Immediately J.P. Miller. Yeah.
- 24:26Speaker 2: So it's like an outdoor church kind of, but it's
- 24:29Speaker 2: like under a tent, you know. And he looks up
- 24:32Speaker 2: to his dad. He tries to follow in his dad's footsteps.
- 24:35Speaker 2: He respects him. And his dad wouldn't take it well
- 24:38Speaker 2: if he was disrespecting him. So he stays in line.
- 24:41Speaker 2: And he thinks that's very funny.
- 24:42Speaker 1: 31 years old. Okay.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Even though it's ruined his last relationship. So they are
- 24:48Speaker 2: going house to house after church to invite people to
- 24:51Speaker 2: worship with them, which people love. I love when the
- 24:55Speaker 2: Mormons do this.
- 24:56Speaker 1: At my house.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Just knock on the door.
- 24:59Speaker 2: When I have dinner cooking.
- 25:02Speaker 4: So they're so there and they are so young and hopeful,
- 25:06Speaker 4: the Mormons that come.
- 25:07Speaker 1: I know. God bless. And they're always so nice.
- 25:09Speaker 2: So happy.
- 25:10Speaker 4: So nice.
- 25:11Speaker 2: So the dad asks if Michelle is coming. And Felix says, yes,
- 25:16Speaker 2: but we've been fighting a lot. And he says when
- 25:19Speaker 2: he met her, it was attraction at first sight. And
- 25:23Speaker 2: he liked her eyes and other things too. Hubba hubba.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Hubba hubba. She's got some ass sets. Yeah.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I think it's more boob sets.
- 25:35Speaker 1: She's got both.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:37Speaker 4: So.
- 25:37Speaker 2: He complains to his dad about her jealousy and trust
- 25:40Speaker 2: issues because apparently he took off his location and she
- 25:45Speaker 2: wants him to be just sitting at home waiting for
- 25:47Speaker 2: her to call. So she didn't bring up this issue
- 25:49Speaker 2: at all. She has more legitimate reasons to be upset.
- 25:54Speaker 2: So they also say mean things to each other when
- 25:56Speaker 2: they fight. You can tell that she's fiery and they
- 26:01Speaker 2: probably say horrible things. Their dad says at the beginning,
- 26:05Speaker 2: Michelle was a good lady, a good human. And we
- 26:08Speaker 2: were more like a family. And I don't know what
- 26:10Speaker 2: happened since she left Ghana and she changed her character.
- 26:14Speaker 2: And why is she so angry about me? And what
- 26:18Speaker 2: did I do? And he says to Felix, that's why
- 26:22Speaker 2: we pranked her. But she didn't understand. And the dad
- 26:26Speaker 2: says she accused me of being a scammer and a
- 26:29Speaker 2: thief because I robbed her apartment with my son. But
- 26:34Speaker 2: it was a prank because every time they fight, she
- 26:39Speaker 2: kicks Felix out. And every time we would take one
- 26:43Speaker 2: or two things like a television back to my house.
- 26:48Speaker 2: So every time she would kick Felix out of the house,
- 26:51Speaker 2: they would take Felix and also a couple of things
- 26:54Speaker 2: like a television and And then to teach her a lesson.
- 26:58Speaker 1: And the couch. Just like, that'll show her. Yeah.
- 27:02Speaker 2: But then we send everything back to her once she
- 27:06Speaker 2: takes Felix back in.
- 27:07Speaker 1: And is she not.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Paying for all of this stuff?
- 27:12Speaker 1: It seems like she is. At any point, did we
- 27:15Speaker 1: find out Felix has a job besides playing in the band?
- 27:19Speaker 2: No, we didn't find that out.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 27:21Speaker 2: So, curious. So... He tells Felix, she didn't respect me
- 27:28Speaker 2: as a father-in-law and as a man of God. And
- 27:33Speaker 2: I will find her. I don't know what that means.
- 27:36Speaker 1: That sounds very threatening.
- 27:37Speaker 2: And it's possible he didn't say that. And it said,
- 27:40Speaker 2: fix her or something. So she can insult me. I
- 27:44Speaker 2: will find her. Again, I wrote, I will find her.
- 27:47Speaker 2: She can insult me. So I will find her. And
- 27:50Speaker 2: if she... Oh, fine. It's fine.
- 27:53Speaker 1: F-I-N-E, fine. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I made auto-corrected to find. So I think I was
- 27:59Speaker 2: doing my voice texting thing. So I will fine her.
- 28:04Speaker 2: She can insult me. So I will fine her. And
- 28:07Speaker 2: if she accepts my fine, then I will give her
- 28:09Speaker 2: a second chance. She needs to buy me a sheep.
- 28:13Speaker 2: And Felix says, that's too much, dad. Can't we just
- 28:16Speaker 2: like settle this at home without doing that whole thing?
- 28:20Speaker 2: And Felix explains to us that in Ghana, if you
- 28:23Speaker 2: have a problem with an elder person, it doesn't really
- 28:26Speaker 2: matter if you are in the right or the wrong.
- 28:28Speaker 2: If you are the younger person, you have to pay
- 28:31Speaker 2: a fine. And you have to pay the elder money
- 28:35Speaker 2: or goods or schnapps.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Now, where else did we also hear about schnapps when
- 28:44Speaker 1: Miles was marrying Matilda?
- 28:46Speaker 4: And....
- 28:47Speaker 2: We're going to hear about it again. It is a
- 28:50Speaker 2: very serious issue with schnapps. The schnapps are, like, symbolic.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I wish I could remember on the 90 Day UK,
- 28:57Speaker 1: the African girl that was marrying the British guy, and
- 29:01Speaker 1: it was, like, 30 pounds of grain and two sheep,
- 29:04Speaker 1: and it kept getting more, and then it was, like,
- 29:05Speaker 1: two cases of schnapps.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Schnapps are huge.
- 29:09Speaker 1: I don't know why, what the allure is. I haven't
- 29:12Speaker 1: had a schnapp since maybe, like, 12th grade, where we
- 29:15Speaker 1: would get, like, peach schnapps, like.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Who, did someone tell them that this is like the
- 29:22Speaker 2: finest liquor that you can get? Or is it something
- 29:26Speaker 2: symbolic about the schnapps that it's like tradition?
- 29:31Speaker 1: I'll look it up. I'll have an answer for you soon. Continue.
- 29:34Speaker 2: So he tells his dad, she's not one of us.
- 29:37Speaker 2: I don't know how she's going to take this with
- 29:39Speaker 2: the fine. thing. And the dad says, well, we'll explain
- 29:43Speaker 2: it to her. In Africa, you can't treat your father-in-law
- 29:45Speaker 2: like that. American customs are different than ours. But if
- 29:48Speaker 2: she accepts it, I believe she can change for the good.
- 29:51Speaker 2: So he says, Felix, you need to explain all of
- 29:54Speaker 2: this to her. And Felix tells us, Michelle will never
- 29:57Speaker 2: go for this. And she's going to get really angry.
- 30:00Speaker 2: And I'm worried that I'm going to have to choose
- 30:02Speaker 2: between her and my family. And I really love Michelle
- 30:05Speaker 2: and her giant boobies.
- 30:06Speaker 1: And I want to work it out.
- 30:08Speaker 2: And I want to spend my life with her.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Okay. Schnapps. Why do people in Africa love schnapps? This
- 30:15Speaker 1: is what I wrote. In West African countries like Nigeria
- 30:20Speaker 1: and Ghana, imported schnapps, such as Siemens or hinkies, is
- 30:26Speaker 1: deeply integrated into traditional ceremonies, rituals, and social customs rather
- 30:31Speaker 1: than used for casual drinking. They pour a small amount
- 30:36Speaker 1: of liquor into the ground or into the air as
- 30:39Speaker 1: an ancient African practice to honor and communicate with ancestors
- 30:42Speaker 1: and spirits. And clear European-style imported spirits, which look clean
- 30:48Speaker 1: and pure like water, replaced or blended with older brews
- 30:52Speaker 1: like palm wine for these sacred moments. bringing a bottle
- 30:56Speaker 1: of schnapps is a mandatory custom when visiting a traditional
- 30:59Speaker 1: chief elder or family head. It acts as a formal greeting,
- 31:02Speaker 1: a sign of high honor. Um, it's a required element
- 31:07Speaker 1: in a bride price and marriage negotiation and village elders
- 31:13Speaker 1: often use schnapps when arbitrating family or community disputes parties
- 31:18Speaker 1: may be asked to present a bottle of schnapps. Um,
- 31:23Speaker 1: Introduced by European traders and colonial era commerce, the distinct
- 31:26Speaker 1: clear schnapps bottle became standardized over generations as a formal
- 31:30Speaker 1: prestigious medium for custom and ritual, though native alternatives like
- 31:35Speaker 1: palm wine historically preceded it. So we saw with Lisa
- 31:40Speaker 1: and Daniel the palm wine. I will drink the palm wine.
- 31:45Speaker 1: I have heard it is good. But schnapps, man. Schnapps
- 31:51Speaker 1: are making a killing. In Nigeria and Ghana.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:55Speaker 4: Okay.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Now we know.
- 31:57Speaker 2: And American teenagers in Nigeria.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 32:02Speaker 2: There's so many other like clear bottles with clear liquor.
- 32:05Speaker 2: That's just what's so interesting about it.
- 32:07Speaker 1: It's interesting that they.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I think it's more traditional. Like the colonists brought it
- 32:13Speaker 2: and so it stayed that way.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. It became like a thing, but it's just like...
- 32:18Speaker 1: It's interesting, right? I mean, I don't even remember it.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Thank you, Learning Channel.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Mary Payne?
- 32:23Speaker 1: I don't remember it being clear, but I was probably
- 32:27Speaker 1: blackout drunk at 16 in the back of somebody's car.
- 32:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I think it could be clear or
- 32:31Speaker 2: maybe not. I don't know. I didn't really drink.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Anyway, yuck. Tastes like cough syrup and not the good kind. Okay.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Kimberly's gotten distracted.
- 32:43Speaker 2: No, I'm done with my couple. Oh, you are?
- 32:45Speaker 4: Okay.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Sorry. Okay. She's not distracted. I take that back. Um,
- 32:50Speaker 1: let's go to Allie and John. Now I posted a
- 32:57Speaker 1: reel of how many times can one man child roll it,
- 33:02Speaker 1: make a woman roll her eyes in a car. Um,
- 33:05Speaker 1: the answer really was six. I didn't get to the
- 33:08Speaker 1: eye rolls cause she did them later, but I counted
- 33:11Speaker 1: four just in this initial conversation. So, um, we opened
- 33:15Speaker 1: up with either at the.
- 33:17Speaker 2: By the way, like now I feel like I have
- 33:19Speaker 2: to reevaluate my whole theory because I was looking at
- 33:22Speaker 2: the comments under that reel and a lot of people
- 33:26Speaker 2: don't agree with us that he's the worst.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Oh, I have not.
- 33:31Speaker 2: And they think she's the worst.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I haven't seen the comments, so I should go and
- 33:36Speaker 1: look at that.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Also, I am pulling up because somebody did send me
- 33:43Speaker 2: who they think he looks like and I That is
- 33:47Speaker 2: the Green River Killer.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Uh-huh, it is.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Gary Leon Ridgway. Wow. A serial killer who was convicted
- 33:55Speaker 2: of murdering 49 women in the 80s and 90s in
- 34:00Speaker 2: the Northwest U.S. So, and I actually really think it's a,
- 34:06Speaker 2: he looks a lot like him.
- 34:09Speaker 1: He does look a lot like him. Pearl Jam's Song
- 34:11Speaker 1: Black was written about the Green River Killer.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I'm going to take that down because I'm disturbed.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Okay. So Allie is– we're at the prawn place still.
- 34:23Speaker 1: And Allie is talking to her friend Megan and crying.
- 34:27Speaker 1: And John is over there crying to production about the
- 34:31Speaker 1: girls being mean to him basically. Yeah.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I don't like it. But maybe we're being like, oh,
- 34:38Speaker 2: it's sad to see a pregnant lady cry. But it's
- 34:41Speaker 2: annoying to see a man cry. And maybe we should
- 34:43Speaker 2: be like good for him. For expressing his emotions. But
- 34:47Speaker 2: he's so whiny.
- 34:50Speaker 1: It doesn't stop. For like hours. It's not like he's exhausted.
- 34:54Speaker 1: And he had like a little moment where he broke down.
- 34:56Speaker 1: And was like God. I didn't know I was walking
- 34:58Speaker 1: into this. Her friend was going to be so mean
- 35:00Speaker 1: to me. I'm doing the best I can. It went
- 35:02Speaker 1: on and on and on. And then he was just
- 35:05Speaker 1: blaming her. And being so hateful to her.
- 35:07Speaker 2: I mean he probably is super jet lagged. But she's like.
- 35:13Speaker 2: 59 weeks pregnant. And I imagine she feels jet lagged
- 35:17Speaker 2: every single day.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Yeah, totally. So Megan is being nice to Allie and
- 35:24Speaker 1: she's like, look, I guess this is just his way
- 35:26Speaker 1: of dealing with emotion. Like he's upset, but of course
- 35:29Speaker 1: you're going to tell me stuff. Like you have to
- 35:31Speaker 1: have a friend to vent to. Like that's what we do,
- 35:33Speaker 1: you know? And she also says, I can see that
- 35:37Speaker 1: he's a sweet talker, He defends himself a lot. Now,
- 35:40Speaker 1: I don't think that's the correct usage of sweet talker,
- 35:42Speaker 1: but I think she means smooth talker. Defensive. Defensive talker.
- 35:48Speaker 1: And Megan goes, he's attacking me and that's okay because
- 35:51Speaker 1: I'm secure enough to know I'm just a friend defending
- 35:53Speaker 1: my friend. And Allie goes, I really appreciate you talking
- 35:57Speaker 1: to him. And Megan says, hopefully he's going to reflect
- 36:01Speaker 1: on what he heard and you can work it out. Well, no,
- 36:03Speaker 1: you just started a shit storm here.
- 36:06Speaker 2: But she does handle it way more maturely. I mean,
- 36:09Speaker 2: I'm not going to cry that he was mean to me.
- 36:12Speaker 1: She's like, I know that I'm just standing up for you.
- 36:13Speaker 1: So whatever. So the talking head John says, I feel
- 36:18Speaker 1: an extreme betrayal of trust. And if one of my
- 36:22Speaker 1: friends went at her like that, I would tell them
- 36:25Speaker 1: to shut the fuck up. Like she could explain her
- 36:27Speaker 1: feelings to her friends and that's fine, but not the
- 36:30Speaker 1: deepest details and things I'm not proud about.
- 36:34Speaker 2: What did she say? I don't think she brought up anything.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Was there anything dark in there? Like he has a
- 36:40Speaker 2: record or several bankruptcies?
- 36:44Speaker 1: Nothing. It was just he was on TikTok longer than
- 36:48Speaker 1: he was looking for a job.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Hadn't gotten a job yet. That's it. Which is ridiculous.
- 36:53Speaker 2: It's been a day. But did they cut something out
- 36:56Speaker 2: that she brought up the deepest, darkest shames of his life?
- 37:00Speaker 1: Yeah, like one of your children disowned you or something. Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 2: We got nothing.
- 37:06Speaker 1: So in the car, as he's crying, he says, you
- 37:10Speaker 1: put me in that position tonight, and it was the
- 37:13Speaker 1: most horrible shit I've ever had to deal with. From
- 37:18Speaker 1: someone who's supposed to love me? You think I would
- 37:20Speaker 1: let my friends grill you like that and do nothing
- 37:23Speaker 1: about it? Oh, the.
- 37:26Speaker 2: cushiony life this man has had that this is the
- 37:30Speaker 2: most horrible shit he's ever had to deal with.
- 37:33Speaker 1: I know.
- 37:33Speaker 2: Is her friend talking to him sternly over prawns.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Yeah, a 25-year-old reading him the riot act, right?
- 37:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that was the worst thing he said. I need Dr.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Ish to come and give him a verbal bitch slap.
- 37:47Speaker 4: Dr.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Ish accepted my collab on my post. Yes.
- 37:51Speaker 2: I know.
- 37:52Speaker 1: He's dating Dr. Ish.
- 37:54Speaker 2: I know.
- 37:56Speaker 1: So she rolls her eyes and her eyes, because her
- 37:58Speaker 1: eyes are so big that when she rolls them, you
- 38:01Speaker 1: can really see it. And he says, I mean, who
- 38:04Speaker 1: the fuck is she trying to make me look like
- 38:07Speaker 1: a loser or something? I've accomplished so much in my life.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Like what's she even doing here? I mean, big deal.
- 38:14Speaker 1: She went with you to three OBGYN appointments. I'm just,
- 38:17Speaker 1: I'm just tired of this shit. Like I'm trying really hard.
- 38:20Speaker 1: You should try to be in my shoes.
- 38:23Speaker 2: What has he accomplished in his life? Besides joining his
- 38:27Speaker 2: father's business that his father built and procreating.
- 38:33Speaker 1: So she goes, why don't you just take some accountability?
- 38:37Speaker 1: And he goes, fuck your accountability. All I do is
- 38:39Speaker 1: take accountability. You know, I have children at home and
- 38:42Speaker 1: a father at home and you act like I gave
- 38:44Speaker 1: up nothing. Like just move here and fuck everybody else.
- 38:49Speaker 1: And she goes, I did not say that. I just
- 38:53Speaker 1: said to prioritize the current situation that we're in. And
- 38:57Speaker 1: he goes, what the fuck do you think I'm doing?
- 38:58Speaker 1: And she says, well, maybe I should just step aside
- 39:02Speaker 1: because you have so much going on. Like, I feel
- 39:04Speaker 1: like I am too much. Like, I should be your priority,
- 39:07Speaker 1: but I feel like I'm too much. He goes, well,
- 39:09Speaker 1: you are my priority, but you are way too fucking much.
- 39:12Speaker 1: And I've told you that. She rolls her eyes some more.
- 39:16Speaker 1: And this time when she rolls her eyes, she does
- 39:17Speaker 1: the na-na-na-na-na-na-na.
- 39:20Speaker 2: That would be annoying. I get, I mean, I don't
- 39:27Speaker 2: like the mocking, but I probably would do it.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Too it was funny um so she says what the
- 39:34Speaker 1: fuck are we doing here and he goes i don't
- 39:36Speaker 1: know and he says um he says to her i
- 39:39Speaker 1: guarantee if you went through what i went through Bullshit
- 39:43Speaker 1: after bullshit after bullshit. You would feel pretty low and defeated.
- 39:47Speaker 1: And to look over at the person you were doing
- 39:49Speaker 1: it all for and realize they're the reason you're being
- 39:52Speaker 1: treated this way. Like, I thought we were doing the
- 39:55Speaker 1: right thing. Having a family and raising a baby. But
- 39:57Speaker 1: I guess it can't happen unless it's exactly as you
- 40:00Speaker 1: want it. And she just sits there and he goes,
- 40:03Speaker 1: is that what you want? Some dopey guy you can
- 40:06Speaker 1: order around? And she just is... Is this how he
- 40:10Speaker 1: treated his friends?
- 40:11Speaker 2: First wife when she was pregnant and is that why
- 40:15Speaker 2: they're no longer married.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Because this is horrible and it gets worse and he
- 40:21Speaker 1: goes i don't get any credit for my life experience
- 40:24Speaker 1: my age and my wisdom it's not fair dude i'm
- 40:28Speaker 1: just a guy who wants to share his life so
- 40:30Speaker 1: why isn't that good enough I cannot. I'm sorry. I
- 40:37Speaker 1: don't know how anybody could be on his side.
- 40:40Speaker 2: On his side. When he said, try walking in my shoes,
- 40:43Speaker 2: I was like, cry me a river on the tears
- 40:47Speaker 2: of a mediocre white man. Oh, boo-hoo. No one has
- 40:51Speaker 2: it worse in the world than a straight white man
- 40:55Speaker 2: in America. I'm so sorry for you. I mean– You
- 41:01Speaker 2: don't get any credit for your age and your wisdom?
- 41:06Speaker 2: What wisdom? Then why don't you have a job?
- 41:09Speaker 1: This is like a drunk 21-year-old boy who's like, why
- 41:12Speaker 1: don't you love me? Like, I wanted you to be
- 41:14Speaker 1: my girlfriend. And then you were just like mean to
- 41:16Speaker 1: me at the bar.
- 41:18Speaker 2: She's going to have a baby and a toddler.
- 41:22Speaker 1: And a baby.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:24Speaker 1: So when we're talking to Ali, he goes, it's been
- 41:27Speaker 1: hard to communicate my stress and anxiety of our situation
- 41:30Speaker 1: to him because- He gets overwhelmed easily, you think? And
- 41:38Speaker 1: I don't want to hurt him, but I don't think
- 41:41Speaker 1: it's fair for me to take on all the actual
- 41:43Speaker 1: problems we have in our relationship because I'm pregnant and
- 41:47Speaker 1: tired and emotional and stressed already. It's exhausting. You know,
- 41:52Speaker 1: we've never officially broken it off, but I have questioned
- 41:55Speaker 1: whether or not I should be with him, but then
- 41:58Speaker 1: I don't have to deal because then I don't have
- 41:59Speaker 1: to deal with his problems, just my own.
- 42:02Speaker 2: Yeah. If he's not helping you and he's just making
- 42:05Speaker 2: everything harder.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Might be better off being a single mom.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Like, yeah. Yeah. Because this is a lot.
- 42:12Speaker 2: This is so much to deal with. I hate him.
- 42:18Speaker 2: And he might be the Green River killer. But also
- 42:22Speaker 2: someone on Instagram said it's obvious that he doesn't want
- 42:27Speaker 2: to give up working for his dad because he's making
- 42:31Speaker 2: a lot of money, but he doesn't want to tell
- 42:33Speaker 2: her how much he's making. And they were like saying,
- 42:37Speaker 2: she's an idiot for not knowing that how small businesses
- 42:40Speaker 2: work or something. And I was like, that's a weird
- 42:43Speaker 2: take because if he's not telling her that he's making
- 42:47Speaker 2: a lot of money in America and doesn't want to
- 42:50Speaker 2: give that up. And that's why he doesn't want to
- 42:51Speaker 2: get a job that's on him if he's not telling her.
- 42:55Speaker 2: And yeah, he should have told her that. And if
- 43:00Speaker 2: he can't work remotely for the dad's business, I don't
- 43:05Speaker 2: know what to tell you. Then he shouldn't have agreed
- 43:07Speaker 2: to move there.
- 43:08Speaker 1: So he said he wants to get their manufacturing set
- 43:12Speaker 1: up there. Um, so I guess if they did that,
- 43:15Speaker 1: they would run the business out of Connecticut question mark.
- 43:20Speaker 1: And then the, actual manufacturing would take place in Asia.
- 43:25Speaker 1: And so he could go back and forth, which would
- 43:26Speaker 1: be great for both of them. But, you know, like
- 43:28Speaker 1: I said, somebody saw them recently, you know, in the,
- 43:32Speaker 1: just saw him and the baby, not her.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, like, has he told her that? Because she
- 43:38Speaker 2: seems to be expecting him to get a nine to five. Right.
- 43:42Speaker 4: Right.
- 43:42Speaker 2: And not be setting up connections to expand the business.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Right.
- 43:48Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 43:49Speaker 1: You know, it's always these things that we find out later. Okay.
- 43:52Speaker 1: So now they get back home and he sits on
- 43:55Speaker 1: the couch and he goes, do you think I'm overreacting?
- 43:59Speaker 2: Yes.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Yes. We just met you and we do.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:04Speaker 1: And she just sits there very calmly and she says,
- 44:07Speaker 1: I'm really tired. I just want to go to sleep.
- 44:10Speaker 1: I don't want to say anything that I'm going to regret.
- 44:13Speaker 1: I think we should sleep it off. Like the mature
- 44:15Speaker 1: person here.
- 44:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:16Speaker 2: She's way more mature.
- 44:17Speaker 1: And he goes, I'm just feeling super overwhelmed. And she goes,
- 44:21Speaker 1: me too. And then he goes, and he cries. And
- 44:26Speaker 1: she looks at him with such disgust in her face.
- 44:29Speaker 1: And I did as well.
- 44:31Speaker 3: But if this is the way for like three hours,
- 44:34Speaker 3: if this is the way he reacts to, you know,
- 44:37Speaker 3: criticism or whatever, like he has a right to be like, hey,
- 44:40Speaker 3: I don't need your friend coming at me.
- 44:42Speaker 1: He definitely has a right to have an opinion on that.
- 44:44Speaker 1: To say like, I didn't appreciate your friend saying that.
- 44:47Speaker 1: But to cry about it and just like constantly sort
- 44:49Speaker 1: of verbally attack her in the car is beyond an overreaction.
- 44:55Speaker 1: And you clocked it the first time we met this guy.
- 44:57Speaker 1: You're like, I don't like how quick he gets so
- 45:00Speaker 1: mad so quick. Doesn't seem right.
- 45:02Speaker 2: No, he has a hair trigger temper. And it seems
- 45:05Speaker 2: like that he was like that before too. So it's
- 45:08Speaker 2: not just jet lag.
- 45:09Speaker 1: No, because she said he gets overwhelmed. Do I not
- 45:11Speaker 1: get any credit for my age and my wisdom and
- 45:14Speaker 1: my life experience?
- 45:16Speaker 2: Okay. I can't with any just grown white man begging
- 45:22Speaker 2: for pity and sympathy.
- 45:25Speaker 1: We're going to move on to Andy and Nigel from Australia. See,
- 45:30Speaker 1: can't do it. I will say that two, two Australian
- 45:35Speaker 1: listeners reached out to let me know. That they only
- 45:39Speaker 1: test the drivers leaving festivals.
- 45:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 45:43Speaker 1: And they said that she's right and that it is
- 45:46Speaker 1: a nanny state and that you are everything, they watch
- 45:51Speaker 1: for everything and that like a DUI or drinking and
- 45:54Speaker 1: driving is, you know, like I guess it's extremely rare
- 45:58Speaker 1: there because it's so... Yeah, I was like, I love this.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I love that they test the drivers leaving the festivals
- 46:04Speaker 1: because yeah, people may be drunk or that could be
- 46:07Speaker 1: doing drugs or both or whatever. I'm glad that they,
- 46:10Speaker 1: it's a saliva test. They saliva test the drivers in
- 46:14Speaker 1: a quick saliva test. And then I think that's great.
- 46:19Speaker 2: I do too.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I'm for it.
- 46:20Speaker 2: It's a nanny state.
- 46:21Speaker 1: I don't either. I'm for it.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Save a lot of lives. Um, okay. So he's stupid
- 46:28Speaker 2: outfit in that hero shot. He is wearing these tight
- 46:32Speaker 2: pants with this stupid hat with a feather on it.
- 46:35Speaker 2: And I mean, like, some sort of didgeridoo or something.
- 46:40Speaker 1: I almost took a screenshot of that and posted it
- 46:43Speaker 1: on Instagram to say, this is a real couple that
- 46:46Speaker 1: we're watching. This is not people that are dressed up
- 46:50Speaker 1: for Halloween.
- 46:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:51Speaker 2: I just can't.
- 46:52Speaker 1: I can't.
- 46:53Speaker 2: And those little pigtails and the rat tails.
- 46:57Speaker 1: How can you take anybody seriously that has that? I mean, okay.
- 47:01Speaker 2: I know. It's a vibe, I guess, as they would say.
- 47:04Speaker 1: I guess people would say that.
- 47:06Speaker 2: So she says things were going well the day before
- 47:09Speaker 2: until the thing with Camper Girl, where they were outside
- 47:11Speaker 2: of her house.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Camper Girl.
- 47:14Speaker 2: That's what she keeps calling her. Or Camping Girl. So
- 47:20Speaker 2: her name is Azriel. Take it seriously.
- 47:23Speaker 1: I'm going to look up if that's a real name.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Isn't that the name of the lion in Lion, the Witch,
- 47:30Speaker 2: and the Wardrobe?
- 47:35Speaker 1: Azrael is a given name and an occasional surname, although
- 47:39Speaker 1: it is most famously known as a mythological and religious figure.
- 47:45Speaker 1: It has Hebrew and Arabic roots translated as helped by
- 47:49Speaker 1: God or whom God helps. And Azrael is widely known
- 47:57Speaker 1: across the Jewish folklore and Islamic tradition as the archangel
- 48:02Speaker 1: of death. The archangel of death responsible for separating the
- 48:07Speaker 1: soul from the body and guiding them to the afterlife.
- 48:10Speaker 1: So just letting you know, Kimberly, when it's your time,
- 48:15Speaker 1: you will be met by Azrael and not this one,
- 48:19Speaker 1: I hope.
- 48:20Speaker 2: I hope it's this one. I don't know what would
- 48:22Speaker 2: be more terrifying, the squirrel or the angel of death.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Yeah, so I don't think that's her government name.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 48:32Speaker 1: It could be. She could have weird parents.
- 48:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:34Speaker 2: What's the name of the lion and the witch in
- 48:37Speaker 2: the wardrobe, though?
- 48:38Speaker 1: I mean, I really wish I could remember when I
- 48:42Speaker 1: read that because.
- 48:43Speaker 2: It's– Because that book is very Christian.
- 48:46Speaker 4: Oh, it is?
- 48:47Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Okay. So Aslan. Aslan. The great lion and rightful
- 48:54Speaker 1: king of Narnia is Aslan. Maybe it's Aslan. I don't know,
- 48:57Speaker 1: but it's A-S-L-A-N. Everybody knows I don't pronounce things correctly,
- 49:01Speaker 1: but it's A-S-L-A-N. Yeah.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay. So she says things were going well yesterday
- 49:07Speaker 2: until that thing happened. So day one was half good,
- 49:12Speaker 2: half disaster. But today is the welcome party. So she
- 49:15Speaker 2: wants to talk to him before the party because she
- 49:18Speaker 2: doesn't want awkwardness with the.
- 49:20Speaker 1: girl.
- 49:20Speaker 4: So she tries to talk to him about camp girl.
- 49:26Speaker 2: And he's not really paying attention. And you have to
- 49:30Speaker 2: talk to him like he's a child. Like, sit down.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Do you hear me? Can you look at me? Can
- 49:34Speaker 2: you focus on what I'm saying? Buddy? Buddy, do you
- 49:37Speaker 2: hear me?
- 49:38Speaker 1: She was like, let's, I want to talk to you
- 49:40Speaker 1: about something before the party. And he kind of goes,
- 49:43Speaker 1: he's unloading stuff and he goes, no time, no time,
- 49:47Speaker 1: no time. And she's like, there's a camera crew here.
- 49:50Speaker 1: You know, I'm about to talk to you like simmer
- 49:52Speaker 1: down ADHD boy.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:55Speaker 2: So she's says, I, he says, well, I thought it
- 50:00Speaker 2: would be good for you to meet Asriel before the
- 50:02Speaker 2: party to break the ice. And I thought we were
- 50:05Speaker 2: on the same page. And she's like, You didn't even
- 50:08Speaker 2: mention it, that we were going to her house. So
- 50:11Speaker 2: how could I be on the same page? And he says,
- 50:13Speaker 2: I thought you knew. I said we were going to
- 50:16Speaker 2: my friend's house to drop off eggs. And she goes, yeah,
- 50:20Speaker 2: you said friends. You have many friends.
- 50:23Speaker 1: You said friends and you said eggs. I did not
- 50:25Speaker 1: think the girl you're boning in a camper. Right.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Was that that friend was Asriel. And I did not
- 50:32Speaker 2: know that we were going there. And he says Asriel
- 50:35Speaker 2: is his latest friend. part-time lover. And Andy is making
- 50:40Speaker 2: too big a deal out of this.
- 50:42Speaker 4: He's so dismissive whenever she has concerns.
- 50:45Speaker 2: And the producer asks him, the producer says, do you.
- 50:49Speaker 4: Think you could see being in a romantic relationship with Asriel?
- 50:54Speaker 2: And he laughs and says, fuck off. And so charming.
- 51:00Speaker 1: So I'm not going to answer that, is what he says.
- 51:04Speaker 2: So she says, I've realized that there is a through
- 51:07Speaker 2: line happening and it seems to be around this same
- 51:11Speaker 2: girl every time. And I thought he was going to
- 51:13Speaker 2: be having like, she basically thought he was going to
- 51:16Speaker 2: be having lots of hookups with lots of different one
- 51:19Speaker 2: night stands, but not repeat offenders that he was getting
- 51:24Speaker 2: attached to.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Is she testing this guy for STDs? Cause he looks
- 51:27Speaker 1: like a walking STD.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Yes, I know. He looks like he just oozes out
- 51:32Speaker 2: of every orifice. It's nasty. Yeah. So he says she says,
- 51:38Speaker 2: I feel like I'm wondering if there are feelings there
- 51:40Speaker 2: because you were bringing her to this festival to be
- 51:44Speaker 2: your camping friend. And he says, well, we couldn't we
- 51:48Speaker 2: were going to stay in her tent and she was
- 51:50Speaker 2: going to stay in her own tent.
- 51:52Speaker 4: And Andy says, because I didn't want you guys staying
- 51:54Speaker 4: in the same tent.
- 51:55Speaker 2: And, you know, you should have. stayed in a separate tent.
- 52:00Speaker 2: And he's like, of course, but she's my part-time lover
- 52:04Speaker 2: as is our agreement. And Andy says, this doesn't feel
- 52:08Speaker 2: like part of an arrangement. Like if you guys are
- 52:11Speaker 2: camping together, you're, you're sleeping in the same place. You're
- 52:15Speaker 2: getting dressed in the same place. You're brushing your teeth
- 52:18Speaker 2: at the same time, which is hilarious because I don't
- 52:20Speaker 2: think he brushes his teeth. And she feels like that
- 52:24Speaker 2: that's not our agreement. That's like cohabitating. That's not.
- 52:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Just banging one and done. And he says, our agreement
- 52:33Speaker 2: was not to be in a serious relationship with someone.
- 52:36Speaker 2: And after that weekend, I probably wasn't going to see
- 52:39Speaker 2: her again sexually for who knows how long. And Andy says,
- 52:43Speaker 2: but you did see her right after that because she
- 52:46Speaker 2: helped you with that party, moving things. And he goes,
- 52:50Speaker 2: and you slept in the same bed. And he goes, yeah,
- 52:52Speaker 2: but nothing happened. I needed an extra pair of hands.
- 52:55Speaker 2: And she was willing to help out. And an extra
- 52:57Speaker 2: pair of boobies.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Free labor.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Free labor. And he says, nothing happened though after that
- 53:05Speaker 2: party because she respects my boundaries with you. And Andy says,
- 53:09Speaker 2: but did you want something to happen? And he fully
- 53:12Speaker 2: lies and is like, no. No.
- 53:15Speaker 1: What do you think I am? Just a horny guy
- 53:17Speaker 1: that wants to fuck everybody? Why would you think that?
- 53:19Speaker 1: Why would you think that?
- 53:20Speaker 2: That I could sleep with a woman in the same
- 53:23Speaker 2: bed and not want to do her. Of course I
- 53:25Speaker 2: didn't want to do her. I'm not. wanting to have
- 53:28Speaker 2: sex all the time. And she says, are there feelings?
- 53:31Speaker 2: And he says, I like her as a friend and
- 53:34Speaker 2: as a person. And so she doesn't feel better at
- 53:37Speaker 2: all before this party. And she thinks that he's not
- 53:40Speaker 2: valuing her feelings. And he doesn't want to give up
- 53:44Speaker 2: this other lady and be monogamous with her, which is
- 53:47Speaker 2: crazy that she still thinks that he would want to
- 53:49Speaker 2: do that because he has given no indication that he
- 53:53Speaker 2: thinks they are giving up the non-monogamy and going to
- 53:57Speaker 2: be monogamous. And she just assumes that it's going to
- 54:00Speaker 2: happen now that she's moved there.
- 54:02Speaker 1: And it's crazy. I mean, it's like, he thinks that
- 54:06Speaker 1: this party tonight, she might meet somebody and bang him
- 54:08Speaker 1: in the bathroom and that would be fine. Yeah. But
- 54:12Speaker 1: I don't think he would be fine, but I don't,
- 54:14Speaker 1: maybe he would.
- 54:15Speaker 2: The agreement is off now that I lived, moved here.
- 54:18Speaker 2: And she's like, I just think he understands it. What
- 54:21Speaker 2: about him has given any indication that he understands things?
- 54:25Speaker 1: You haven't told him. So how would he understand?
- 54:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:27Speaker 1: They haven't discussed it.
- 54:29Speaker 2: They're both just driving me crazy.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Y'all, let's talk about perimenopause, okay? I can remember exactly
- 54:37Speaker 1: when I realized I was entering perimenopause. I looked at
- 54:40Speaker 1: another mom at my son's back-to-school night and goes, whew,
- 54:43Speaker 1: it's hot in here, right? And she just said, no,
- 54:46Speaker 1: it's 40 degrees outside. But after that, I just started
- 54:49Speaker 1: noticing more and more symptoms. For me, not only was
- 54:52Speaker 1: I just hot all the time for no reason, but
- 54:55Speaker 1: I did not feel like myself. I was so exhausted
- 54:57Speaker 1: all the time. I was not sleeping well. And let's
- 55:00Speaker 1: don't even talk about the mood, okay? My husband called
- 55:03Speaker 1: me Bad Mood Betty. That is a true story. But
- 55:06Speaker 1: luckily for you perimenopausal ladies, Rituals Perimenopause Health is here

- 56:32Speaker 1: prevent any disease. Y'all, why does buying glasses always feel
- 56:38Speaker 1: so complicated and overpriced? I'm just trying to buy some glasses,
- 56:42Speaker 1: not feel like I need to break out one of
- 56:44Speaker 1: my spreadsheets to understand what's going on. Don't get me
- 56:48Speaker 1: started on how hard it is to find something you
- 56:50Speaker 1: actually like and fits your face and you feel confident,
- 56:53Speaker 1: you know, when you leave your house. Like, how can
- 56:55Speaker 1: you tell if they're going to look good on you
- 56:57Speaker 1: from just a tiny, tiny picture? This is why I'm
- 56:59Speaker 1: obsessed with Warby Parker. Seriously, nothing comes close on quality, price, selection,
- 57:06Speaker 1: and they have amazing customer service. Once you buy from
- 57:10Speaker 1: Warby Parker, you realize how much easier they've made the
- 57:12Speaker 1: entire process. Okay, they have a virtual try-on. It is
- 57:16Speaker 1: a total game changer. You can literally try on glasses
- 57:19Speaker 1: from your phone before you buy. The glasses that I
- 57:21Speaker 1: wear every single day are from Warby Parker, and I
- 57:24Speaker 1: bought them 100% online. It's so easy. You just point
- 57:28Speaker 1: your camera and boom, you can see a lot of
- 57:30Speaker 1: different frames on your face in real time. I mean,
- 57:33Speaker 1: so many times I think this will look so good
- 57:35Speaker 1: on me, but then the virtual try on will knock
- 57:37Speaker 1: me down a peg and make me realize right away, okay,
- 57:40Speaker 1: that does not look good on you, but this one does.
- 57:43Speaker 1: And that, you know, prescription frames, they start at $ 95.
- 57:46Speaker 1: So it's a win-win. So my latest glasses that I
- 57:48Speaker 1: got from Warby Parker are progressives, which is a new
- 57:51Speaker 1: thing for me. I didn't even realize how much I
- 57:53Speaker 1: would love it. They are the Hughes style in the
- 57:56Speaker 1: marzipan tortoise color. They make me feel cute on the
- 58:00Speaker 1: days where I just don't want to wear my contacts.
- 58:02Speaker 1: But speaking of contact lenses, Warby Parker also has contact lenses,
- 58:06Speaker 1: online eye exams, and sunglasses. It's all in one place,
- 58:10Speaker 1: which makes everything so easy. They also have 300 retail
- 58:14Speaker 1: stores across the U.S. Mine is local to me, and
- 58:17Speaker 1: I love going in there. It's so cute. It's nice
- 58:20Speaker 1: knowing you have that in-person option if you ever want it.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Right now, you can buy one pair of glasses and
- 58:26Speaker 1: get 20% off any additional pairs at warbyparker.com slash pinkshade.
- 58:32Speaker 1: That's 20% off any additional pairs when you purchase one
- 58:36Speaker 1: pair at warbyparker.com slash pinkshade. That's warbyparker.com slash pinkshade. And
- 58:45Speaker 1: show me your new glasses after you get them.
- 58:48Speaker 2: The producers ask a nicely dressed Australian man at, which
- 58:52Speaker 2: is a new thing they seem to be doing, which
- 58:54Speaker 2: is ask the locals.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 58:57Speaker 2: New segment called ask the locals. So they asked this
- 59:00Speaker 2: Australian man who is trying to eat his dinner at
- 59:02Speaker 2: a restaurant and is monogamy, like ethical non-monogamy a thing
- 59:08Speaker 2: here in Australia? And he's yes but we generally don't
- 59:12Speaker 2: think it's a very good idea and my wife would
- 59:15Speaker 2: never go for it and is she gonna see this
- 59:17Speaker 2: segment because she would kick the shit out of me
- 59:22Speaker 2: can you blur my face.
- 59:25Speaker 1: And why did you close up on my plate of
- 59:27Speaker 1: food so many times?
- 59:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Thank you. I'm self-conscious now. So it's the party. She
- 59:33Speaker 2: has made a gorgeous charcuterie board, which is not what
- 59:37Speaker 2: I would want to have at this party when everyone's
- 59:40Speaker 2: fingers are just really dirty because no one is bathing.
- 59:44Speaker 2: So there's an outdoor backyard bonfire that is raging and
- 59:48Speaker 2: made me very nervous. But I live in Southern California,
- 59:52Speaker 2: but it does not seem to be in control. Um,
- 59:55Speaker 2: and she's meeting everybody and there's a lot of other
- 59:58Speaker 2: musicians there and hippie people and everybody that comes in though.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: She's like camper girl. Is this camper girl? Did you
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: say Asriel? Did you say your name is Asriel? Oh, Emma,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: you said Emma. Sorry. Nice to meet you, Emma. Oh
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: my God. And everybody that's not Asriel gets a huge hug.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: It's just like, who are you? You're Tanya.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Great.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Oh, Tanya loved me. Oh, great. Especially if the woman
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: comes up that's married and it's like, oh, I'm married
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: to the drummer.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: She's like, you're married.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Great. Oh, big, extra big hug for you.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: She's so jealous. So she tells Nigel her body is
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: tense and she needs to lower her vibration. It's not
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: for me. That kind of talking is not for me. No, same.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Strange.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: He's not bothered. He's like, it's all good for my end.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: And Azriel's end, she's chill. And if Andy has issues,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: that's her insecurity.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I hate Nigel so hard. I don't know if I
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: hate Nigel more or John Jonathan.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: I don't know. No, I hate John Jonathan more for sure.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: You do?
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: I hate the Green River Killer. Yeah, more.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: But I hate Nigel.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: It's a close.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: It's close. It's close.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: I at least think John thinks he looks like he
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: smells better.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Oh, for sure. For sure. For sure.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: So then Nigel starts awkwardly flirting with two girls who
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: brought fire hula hoop things. They're going to do some
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: fire performing.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: As you do. And then someone says someone, someone's like, oh, Asriel,
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: did you blah, blah, blah. And so then we realized
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: that this girl that he's been talking to is Asriel
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: and we've been gaslit. And you would never have thought
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: it was her because they were so awkward talking. It
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: was like, hey, glad you're here. Did you find the
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: place okay? Do you want a drink? It's so like,
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: he's awkward. And she's super awkward. Maybe we should have
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: assumed that that was her because it's so awkward. To me,
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: it just seemed like she was someone that he was
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: trying to flirt with. That was like a newcomer, like
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: a friend of a friend that he had never met
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: before that he was trying to flirt with.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: I thought it was awkward because it's like we're on
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: camera and everybody knows we banged and this is a storyline.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: So it's awkward.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: I should have picked up on that.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: And Andy is talking to other people, but she hears
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Asriel and it's like a dog whistle. She's like, what?
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Scooby's next?
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: Wait, she's here? And so this girl is wearing, has
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: a midriff showing. And has green, bluish hair. And Andy says, wow,
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: she looks nothing like me. And, you know, oh, God,
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: I don't know if I should like her or not
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: like her. I'm probably going to go with not like her.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: I don't know why I'm even wondering. And then she's
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: like talking to people and she sees Nigel and Asriel
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: are going into the house to the kitchen. As she's
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: trying to have a normal conversation, but she can't focus
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: because she keeps watching them. And they keep showing what's
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: happening in the kitchen through the window as if they
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: are full-on banging up against the kitchen sink.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: And they're just talking, but it's like scary music, like
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: something's happening.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Well, never forget, you can't see everything because of the
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: dick screen.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. Okay, now.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Sorry for you, but it's still your turn. We're going
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: to talk about Squishy Squishy and Niles. I have a
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: lot of questions here, so let's go.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: So hopefully I can answer that.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: You can. Okay.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: So I probably can't. So it's the continuation of their
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: fight in the car, but they've calmed down a lot.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: And then he has the gall to say to us,
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: I can't believe she rented an apartment without telling me.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: she needs to be 100% honest with me. And I
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: was like, is he punking us? Or does he know
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: how that sounds?
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: He would have to probably, yeah, he'd probably have to
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: take a beat and think about the hypocrisy.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Oh, that's ironic.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: So they have to go to Mr. Ark's house now
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: and pretend that everything is hunky-dory. And Mr. Ark's chyron says, Mr.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Ark Niles' Ghanaian.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Ghanaian I'm saying it wrong father and Mrs. Ark's Ghanaian
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: and Mrs. Ark's just says marry Mr.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Ark's wife oh she doesn't get the title of mommy
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: she doesn't but he calls her mommy like when he
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: sees her he's like mom and she's like.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: My son and then he holds Mr. Ark's fake hand
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: as they're embracing. And right away, they literally just sit
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: down and Mr. Ark says, Niles, I asked you to
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: bring some things for me. Two bottles of schnapps, champagne,
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: a parcel of money and clothes for my wife and I.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: I love how unashamed everyone is about how transactional it is.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Like everyone who's not from Africa is all like, coded.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: It's all transactional coded. And I'm like, just say that
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: it is transactional because it is. And at least these
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: people are like, it's fully transactional. Give me this. I
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: give you woman.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: So give you woman.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: Niall says, um, I forgot. He told me he wanted
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: this stuff and I was already in the airport. So
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: it's like it was on the flight. He was at
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: the airport.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Go through duty free. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: And he's like, I was so busy fighting with Matilda
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: about the apartment. I just forgot to bring it. I'll
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: have to bring it tomorrow. And Matilda is like shaking
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: her head like he's fucked up again. So Mr. Ark says,
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: you've been away for two years. You need to be
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: more responsible. You're a handsome boy. I don't want you
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: to misbehave. I don't know what any.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Of that meant. Nothing to do with each other, but OK.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Do you think he's going to get somebody else pregnant
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: in America?
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Oh, that's probably what he was saying. I didn't grasp
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: that because none of it made sense to me, but okay.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: So Niles says, I really fumbled the bag here. I
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: was so busy fighting with Matilda. I forgot the gifts
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: and I'm just pissing everyone off. Why not add Mr.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Ark to the list? And Mary, my mom, to the list.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: So Niles says, I know you asked us to stay here,
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: but I just learned that Matilda got an apartment without
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: telling me. And so we're going to stay there so
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: I can bang my wife. And Mr. Ark has a
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: very scary silence and he's just staring. And then he goes,
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: that's understandable. Okay. But just don't go to her parents
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: without us. I have to go with you because you
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: said it would take five months for you to bring
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Matilda to the United States and they're going to be
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: very upset. And Niall says, yeah, the visa process has
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: been a lot slower than I thought. And Mr. Ark says,
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: you said to me, Daddy, I can do it in
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: five months.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: The use of the word daddy is just... I hate it.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: I love it. It's hilarious.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: So you plan to deceive us, Niles, and that's what's wrong.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: And Mr. Ark says, what's going on? Why is it
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: taking so long? And he says, I'm a man of
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: my word. And it's been very shameful for me personally because...
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: I am Niles's biological father in this situation. And so
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: I am responsible because he has now deceived her family.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: They're coming to me and asking questions. And Niles says,
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: so how do we explain to the family that the
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: visa process is not in my control? And Mr. Ark says, well,
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: you're not going to be allowed to talk. I'm going
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: to talk on your behalf. And Niles gets so scared
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: that he jumps. He grabs his chest like he's going
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: to have a heart attack. And he's like, whoa, sorry.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: You scared me there, Mr.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Ark.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Daddy, sorry. So Mr. Ark says, if Matilda was my daughter,
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: I would not allow this. I would slap you with
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: my fake hand. And it is very hard. It is
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: made of the strongest wood.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Classic.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: And Matilda is grinning. She's so happy that Mr. Ark
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: is on her side.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: And Mrs. Ark just goes, I am not happy. I
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: was like, aww. Sorry, Mary.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Sorry, Mommy.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: So Matilda says, I'm glad Mr. Ark is helping us
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: because Niles gave my family four bottles. of schnapps and
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: an agreement that he would bring me to the U.S.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: in five months. And I don't think how badly he
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: understands that he's messed up.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: And Mr.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Ark says, Niles, this is very, very serious. Matilda's parents
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: can reject our offer. They could offer us a bottle
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: of schnapps and that will be the end of everything.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: The marriage over. And Matilda says, Niles, do you understand
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: what he's saying? My mom could give you back the
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: bottle of schnapps that you gave her to marry me.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: And she could say, it's been too long. You didn't
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: fulfill your promises. The marriage is over. Here's your schnapps back.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Matilda's back on the market.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: It's like a wedding ring, the schnapps. It's like that symbolic.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: And so Niall says, I knew the schnapps had some
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: serious cultural and spiritual significance, but this is really freaking
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: horrible and I am sick to my stomach that it
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: is this serious, that the marriage could be over. And
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: he is like, also, I'm still supposed to tell them
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: that I'm moving here and not ever bringing her to
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: the U.S.? Right, right, right. So they go to the
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: new apartment and he says today sucked. It has sucked
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: more than every day in the history of sucking. And
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: maybe I get to bang my wife. So they go
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: to the apartment, which is sparse. It has no furniture,
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: but it does have a bed. It does have also
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: oddly painted lime green pillars.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: I was wondering if she did that. Cause she was
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: trying to make it like girly, but there's just a,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: there's just a lot of decor problems happening here. Number
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: one being the, the little tiny table and chairs that
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: seems like it would be for eating breakfast or whatever,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: right by the front door, right by the front door
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: and the pillars.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: And then there's nothing else in the living room.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: And then you step down and it's this expanse of nothing.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: And then the bedroom, which has like a fake Burberry
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: plaid bedding.
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: It's all, listen, she did what she could, but I
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: will tell you, I found the most interesting thing. He
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: was presenting the gifts, right? She's sitting on the bed.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: He's presenting the gifts. Behind her, floor-to-ceiling shelves filled with
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: a lot of purses that looked exactly alike. So I'm like,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: is she reselling coach bags? Like, I couldn't quite... Surely
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: she doesn't have, like, 30 handbags. It looks like a
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: lot of purses that maybe she was selling.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Maybe he's mailing her fake designer purses I'm sure they
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: sell fake designer stuff there.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: I'm sure they do but maybe I don't know but
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: it was like you know at the bottom shelves were
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: like shoes and looked like a normal amount of shoes
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: but then on the top was all some were like
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: lined up side by side some were facing forward so
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: if anybody else noticed that let me know what you
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: think I don't.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Know I don't I'm sure they were cheap but it
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: still seems like the money situation is not.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: In control I don't know what she does for money
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: to have gotten this apartment.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: So why are you collecting handbags? It just seems like
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: priorities are out of whack. And she has gotten the
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: taste of not being like literally dirt poor for once.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: But we've never seen her like with a purse. Do
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: you know what I mean? So that's why I'm thinking
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: she sells them. She resells them. But I don't know.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Somebody knows.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: She used to work with her mom at the. the
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: cart selling food.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: That's right. When we first met her, that's right.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: So I don't know what's happening. And did he buy
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: her the car? And like, I'm assuming he bought her
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: the car and he, she's using his money to pay
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: for the apartment.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I guess so. And if it's 1500 a month, maybe
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: that's just like you pay.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: For all of it. She's not supposed to work now.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: I don't know. We don't know. So we need help.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: We need somebody to tell us.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: But they're both being shady about everything. Money, finances, they're
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: both being not great. So he likes it. He's like,
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: you did great, Matt. And she's just not smiling. And
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: he's like, I see a little smile. Do I see
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: a little squishy? Squishy, squishy? Little smile?
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: No. Can you smile?
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Give me a little smile, baby. Matt, give me a
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: little squishy, squishy. Squishy, squishy, squishy.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: And she's like, She never even one corner of her
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: lip does not even quiver. She is so mad at him.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: She is going to be the best sulker of any
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: wife we've ever had on this show. You just do
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: not want to piss this lady off because she will
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: not cave until you give her a present.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Well, who amongst us?
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: But you know what she's not doing? Crying and aggressively
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: pointing out his flaws like Green River Killer.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: Um, so he says, um, she, he says, am I
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: going to be banished to the couch? And she's like, no,
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: I would never do that. I rented this place for
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: us and this is your home now. So you can
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: sleep in the bed. And he's like, oh, okay. And
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: so then he tries to butter her up with some gifts.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: He bought her. It seems like a laptop that matches
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: an iPad that he had. I'm always confused. She she's,
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: he's like, remember my iPad?
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Well, I got you a laptop, but he, pulls out
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: this iPad that's still in the box.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I didn't understand. So did he get
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: her both? And again, how is he not spending on
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: the Visa? I know they might be used, but they're
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: still really pricey.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: But why is the iPad in a box, protected, is
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: just loose? Unsure.
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: I didn't understand either.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: So she's speechless. She could not be more excited.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: She's so excited.
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: She's a kid that has gotten their first little ipad
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: and she's just like leave me alone mom i'm gonna
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: be on this for the rest of my life and
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: she's so happy and then he brings out two tablets
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: that are wooden and he has gotten them engraved with
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: like wood engraving kind of of his maxims so He,
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: we forgot about this, that he has these maxims that
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: he lives his life by. And last season he tried
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: to tell her them and he pulled out his phone
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: and started reading them. And she was so bored. She
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: fell asleep on his shoulder. And he says, I want
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: you to learn these maxims. I was like, I don't
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: think you're in the position to be asking her to
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: do anything right now, but you did just give her
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: a laptop and she's very happy. And so I want
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: you to learn these and 99% of your problems will
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: go away.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Okay. Have they worked for him?
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Do you have no problems?
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it hasn't worked for you, but okay, let's try
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: it on somebody else.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Yeah. So she's like, she starts laughing hysterically and she's
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: laughing in her talking head. She's laughing right in front
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: of him. She's like, did he get these from a
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: burning bush or what? Why? I don't know what I'm
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: supposed to do with this. I really like the laptop though.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: Delighted with the laptop. So she's so happy and he
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: starts calling her squishy, squishy and squishing her face. So squishy, squishy.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: And he says, well, that was easy. I could just
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: win her over with a gift.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Except you're poor. So you can't do this every time
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: you piss her off.
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: It's not going to work. You have no money. And
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: then they're going to do it. And he is going
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: to wait some time before he tells her that he's
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: moving there. Which I don't like when people keep a secret,
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: but they still have sex with the works.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Is it going to be around the time that she
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: says it's been about two weeks? What's your return trip?
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Going home.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Yeah. When's your, When's your ticket.
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: To go home?
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: No, I think it's like you said. It's at the airport. Okay, bye.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: I'll miss you, Niles. Actually, I'm staying.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Surprise. Ta-da. In the words of Vito. Ta-da.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: So the next morning, he says, I got to spend
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: the night with my squishy mama. And he keeps pinching
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: her cheeks. And she's like, motherfucker, let me sleep.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Quit touching my face.
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: Who wants to be touched their face in the morning?
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Squeeze like that.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Oh, stop. So she says, I did miss his squishy
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: squishies and he always talks and I miss him. It's
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: like he's always talking. So she says that we started,
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: but we did not finish. And he says, when you're tired. No,
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: he says, when you're tired, your body pulls the plug.
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: And I have so much on my mind. So it
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: didn't really happen. We started, but we didn't finish. And
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: then he starts doing planks, which I guess is part
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: of his morning routine, maxims. And she tells us, I
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: can't tell you what happened last night, but I enjoyed it.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: And she's telling us, yeah, I don't know what's going
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: to happen when he talks to my family. I did
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: tell him to stop lying to everyone, even though I
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: lied about the apartment. But let's not focus on that.
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: And so then she's driving him around town and he says,
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: I don't see any speed limits. And she's like, yeah,
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: you just do whatever you feel like.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Shut up. She's yelling at people.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: Drive wherever and how fast you want to. And then
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: she's like, shut up. And then he goes, I see
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: Rose bridge is a thing here. And uh so they
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: go to mr arc's house to pick him up and
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: they're going to her parents house and she's like clean
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: yourself up you're sweating and but she's also freaking out
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: but she doesn't want to tell him and she's like
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: my family doesn't trust him anymore and they might end
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: the marriage but i don't want to freak him out
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: any further than he already is because he's dripping like
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: A sieve.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: I mean, you can't just like say somebody can't be
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: married and like throw them back out there like a
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: fish that you caught and throw them back out. I mean,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I guess you can.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: Does Matilda have another, a ton of other American options
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: in this village?
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Is American option the only option? I mean, I don't
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: get it.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: It seems to be what they're all, what they really want.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Focused on. Yeah.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, he is American.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: She also loves him, she says.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: She says. She could tolerate him. That's for damn sure.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: Yeah, she can. Yeah.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: All right. Let's finish up with Jesse and Vittorio Mario.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: So I looked up where his house is that, you know,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: there's been a post that it's an Airbnb, right?
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: He then did a counter post to explain that this
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: is actually his family home. That then they turned over
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: to a rental group and they kept it in the family,
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: but they rent it out because people don't live there anymore.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: So I guess he's allowed to live in the apartment. Unclear.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: People don't completely believe it, but he had a lot
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: of pictures of himself growing up on this property. Is
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: it AI? How would we know? I don't know.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I don't know. All I know is I'm looking for him.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: I think it's a bunch of little... condos that are
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: rented out.
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: So his family must be very wealthy if they own
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: the whole property. Yeah. And then he's staying in like
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: one of the apartments.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: That's what it seems like, but unclear if it's true.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: So I looked up the driving distance between this place
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: where he's staying and the place where I'm staying in
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: Florence and it is 20 miles. So if you do
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: not think I'm going to look for him, I am.
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: I want to know if you're going to look for
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: Giuseppe the horse.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: No. I'm just looking for Vittorio. So we opened with
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: him showing her how to ride the motorcycle. You know,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: you lean when I lean. You hold on tight. Oh,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I hate this. Oh, it gives me so much anxiety.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: I can't stand it. And she says, you know, I
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: love Vito, and I'm trying to make this work and
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: be a good sport. I'm scared of motorcycles. And they're
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: going to his bougie tennis club to meet his friends.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: And she's like, I hope it's not too bad. I
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: hope it's going to be fine. You know, I play tennis,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: but I've played a few times. It's not like I
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: know how to play, but it's not like my thing.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: So they arrive and meet his friends. It's Vittorio and
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Marco and Fabio. It's just like, can it be more Italian?
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Marco and Fabio. Fabio is saying, I can't believe this, Vittorio.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: You're serious now. And he's like, I know, I know.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: Can you believe it? And so as she's, like, taking
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: off her sweats, she goes, he didn't tell me to
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: wear white. He goes, she's not wearing white. It's okay.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: It's okay. And she goes, oh, you guys look so
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: cute in your white. Like, he didn't tell me I
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: was supposed to wear white. So he knew she would
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: look out of place. Yeah. But whatever.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: So they go to play. They're going to play doubles.
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: Also, one of his friends, Fabio, makes it like this
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: weird moaning sound when he kissed her on the cheeks.
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: He went, mmm, mmm. I rewound it because I was like,
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: is that in the soundtrack or is that him making
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: that noise?
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: Ew.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: I think they were like, wow, you really did it.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: She's super hot. How is this possible?
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: Yeah, because you have an anger issue. So it's another
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: man with an anger issue. So do we have any
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: good guys on the show? Let's go through them really quickly.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Felix seems like has a bad scammer as a father. Jonathan,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: we've covered him pretty extensively. Nigel, not great. Niles, liar. Vittorio,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: not great. Anger issue. No, not great.
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: Wants to follow a woman into the bathroom to get
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: rid of her.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Ben.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: Ben.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Ben and Zuri, the jury's out on him. And then
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: we have Armando and Kenny, who we love. So please
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: let them save the day.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: No, Ben is not because he did not defend her
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: in front of his friends.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: When they threw ice at her.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: You're right. Everybody sucks.
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Women. Women power for the show. So Matt Sharp is
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: a feminist. So we open... uh so at the bougie
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: tennis club right and so she's like oh i've never
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: played doubles and he's it's gonna be fine it's gonna
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: be fine you're gonna hit the ball because the ball
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: so he's doing a lot of instructions like you go
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: here you do that you're done oh you run up
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: what are you doing i know you got to keep
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: it in the in the lines he's doing that you
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: know a lot of that and talking to her together
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: she goes you know i'm not training to be serena
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: williams like it's okay and he goes In Italy, the instructors,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: they never tell you you're doing good. They want you
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: to always do better. You just do what they do.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: They never say you do good. You've got to be
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: hard on them. And she goes, you know, the more I'm, yeah,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: you're never like, great shot. Do it again.
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: It's like, here's a trophy for participating.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Yes, right. No, none of that. So she goes, you know,
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: the more I'm around you, you're like an onion. So
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: many layers. He goes, yeah. And she goes, but onions
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: also make me cry. He's like, oh. So the talking
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: head alone, she goes, you know, he's yelling at me
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: and mocking me and embarrassing me in front of his
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: friends that I just met. Like, it's awful. He needs
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: to chill. Yeah. So at one point they're getting towards
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: the end and he's like, okay, you go over there.
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: What'd you do? Jesse, what you doing? And you could,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: she looks directly at the camera, like Jim from the office. Like,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: are you kidding me? Like, she's like, yeah, this is crazy.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: So she goes, you know, can we just take a break?
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: And he goes, oh, my God, this is your best
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: idea of the whole day. And he's just being such
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: a dick.
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: Just like so sarcastic.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: And it's just like trying to show off in front
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: of his friends. I don't know. But they don't think
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: he's funny.
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: Or this was preplanned ahead of time because they're not
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: even a real couple.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: A lot. There's probably a smidge of truth there. So
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: she's walking ahead and they go to the drinks bar
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: where you get a post drink. And he goes, what
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: do you want? She goes, I'm going to order a cappuccino.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: He goes, oh my God, no, no, no, no. You
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: can't order that. She goes, what? He goes, you can't
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: order a cappuccino. It's 8 p.m. Here in Italy, you
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: don't order a cappuccino after 11 a.m. And she goes,
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: who made that rule? And he goes, us, the Italians,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: we created it. And he goes... Hugo Spritz. We'll take
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Hugo Spritz. And she's like, okay.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: I mean, I've heard that rule. But you don't yell
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: at someone for doing it. You just go, okay, they're American.
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: They're different.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: People in America drink coffee at all times. I just
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: had a cup of coffee just now. It's 4 o'clock
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: in the afternoon.
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: Kimberly did not yell at me. Thank you. So he goes,
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: you can't order it. So he orders Hugo Spritz. And
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Jesse looks at his friends and goes, is he always
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: like this? Like with the shouting? And the friends go, yeah,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: he yells a lot.
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: He yells at us.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: He yells at us. He yelled at us to be here.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: And Vittoria goes, yo, I'm passionate. I'm passionate. Start drinking.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: You talk too much. Okay.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: You lost me.
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: I hate that. I'm passionate. This is just how I am.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: I'm a Scorpio.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: Whatever the bullshit is, I can't deal with it. It's like,
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: I'm just, this is how I am. I don't have
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: to change my bad behavior.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: We are in Scorpio season. I just said that randomly.
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: I just picked that randomly out of a hat. Sorry,
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: it was the first one that came to mind.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: The only reason I know that is because I'm right
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: on the cusp of Libra and Scorpio and we've passed over.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: And so now we're into Scorpio.
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: That's the only reason I know that. So Fabio and
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: Marco say... yeah, it's surprising. Yeah. That he's got a
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: serious girlfriend. Cause she's like, okay, let's try to keep
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: it light. So are you guys surprised? He's got like
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: a serious girlfriend. And they're like, yeah, it's, it's weird
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: because he's been like, what's the word? Like a playboy.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: He's a playboy. And he goes, I don't, I don't
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: see it.
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: I don't see it.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: I see it with Marco. I saw it with Marco.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Marco looked like he could have been a playboy for sure. Um,
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: And he goes, you don't have to say too much.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: You don't say too much. Don't say too much. I'm
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: over that Playboy life now. I'm committed to her. And
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: his friend goes, are you sure, man? Like, considering your
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: track record. And this is where I was like, okay,
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: this was all planned. Because no friend is going to
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: say that. He doesn't know how much Italian she speaks.
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: You know? He goes, are you sure? Considering your track
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: record as a Playboy? And he goes, ah, past is
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: the past. Future, future in front of us. And... She goes,
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: what are you guys talking about? And Vittoria goes, oh,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: he just asked me about the shops here. The shops,
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: the shops. And she goes, no, I understood. That wasn't
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: what he said. And she goes, he goes, oh, now
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: you speak Italian. Okay, I give you a book. You
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: get to page four. Oh, okay. And she goes.
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: What an asshole.
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: She goes, you don't have to be a dick.
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: And then she goes, you know, why won't you tell
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: me what he said? She goes, because sometimes you have
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: to lie in a relationship. you don't have to overshare
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: and overshare i don't have to tell you everything and
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: she goes oh that's interesting well did you guys know
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: that he told me he lived in florence in the
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: city but he lives in the country and there's like
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: horse shit all over the road and he goes hey
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: we at the tennis club you speak properly And she goes,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: you're not speaking properly to me.
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: She goes, you weren't speaking properly to me on the court.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: And then he goes, oh, yeah. And she says, first,
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: I don't wear the right outfit. Then I say the
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: wrong words. And so what else? And he goes, you
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: ordered the cappuccino.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: And she goes, can I talk to you in private
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: right now, please? And she pulls him off.
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: I kind of feel like she wasn't in on the plan.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: I think so too. I think he was like, let's
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: make this good scene and tells his friends beforehand. Now
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: his friends are immediately uncomfortable and did not know he
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: was going to go so hard.
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: And I think they're like.
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: He's real method about this. And no one thought he
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: was going to do this and be so dickish. And
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: now she's like, you're going way too far. And you're,
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: you're actually hurting my feelings, even though I know this
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: is fake and you're going to come off like, irredeemable
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: like a total dick.
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: I think probably she was in on the like oh
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: I'll wear red because like that's the opposite of white
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: and I'll look like a you know and then I
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: think she's probably like what else could I do ooh
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: I'll order like a cappuccino because she's like that's so
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: stupid that that's a thing so I'll do that and
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: she didn't know he was going to take it to
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: the 10th level yeah and her talking head she goes
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: the way that he is talking to me in front
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: of his friends I want to flip out right now
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: so She pulls him over to the side. She goes, listen,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: when we're in public as a couple, you should uplift
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: me and make me look good. I am in a
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: foreign country meeting your friends for the first time. And
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: you're like trolling me and embarrassing me. You're making me
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: feel like an idiot. And he goes, no, no, no, no, no.
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: They know me here. They know me here. I have
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: an image. You can't make me look bad. And she goes, what?
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: I mean, he's making himself look bad.
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: And she goes, I don't care about your image. Who
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: cares if I'm not in the right color and ordering
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: a cappuccino? And so she starts to walk off. She goes,
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: I don't want to talk like I'm cold. So she
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: hasn't put on her sweatpants yet. So I'm like, put
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: your sweatpants back on. And he goes, okay, go get
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: a cappuccino. If you're cold, you can look like a clown.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: And she goes, fuck off. And she walks off. And
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: he goes, where are you going? You don't have a
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: way to get home. She's just stormed. She's looking for
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: the bathroom. So he's following her down the stairs to
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: the bathroom. And she's like, stop talking to me. Just
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: give me a minute. And he goes, oh, my God, Jesse,
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: you're acting like a children. You're acting like children, like
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: you're six years old. And she goes, get out of here.
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: Get out of my face. I'm overstimulated. I'm freezing. I'm
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: jet lagged in a new country. Get the fuck out
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: of here. It's too much because he's like in the bathroom.
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: He is literally following her into the bathroom.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: Yeah. So he walks off doing what Ali did earlier
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: under his breath. And he's going, fuck off. Because she
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: tries to close.
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: The door to the bathroom and it won't close. And
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: he's like, you don't even know how to close a door, right?
- 1:31:55Speaker 2: And I was like, are you five years old?
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: He's really something. So in the talking head, Vittoria says,
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: you know, in Italy, tennis is not just a sport.
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: It's a social status. And I want her to be
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: a part of it. But after having this fight with
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: her at the tennis club is very embarrassing, very embarrassing
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: for me. And it says on his LinkedIn that he
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: is also a tennis instructor. Right. So maybe that's why
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: there's only like seven people there because it was Sunday
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: and it was closed and they opened it and they're
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: only serving Hugo Spritz. They didn't even warm up the
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: cappuccino machine. So he goes back and talks to his friends.
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: I'm picturing Jenny back there. I don't know how to
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: do this, man. Now we're in Italy?
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: I was picturing Mito like, I'm going to be method.
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: I'm going in, and I'm not going to break character.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: So he goes to talk to his friends, and he goes, oh,
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: my God. He goes, she's pissed because did she say
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: I raised my voice? You should hear her at home.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: She's been here two days, and we're fighting. We're fighting.
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: And the friends go.
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: That's not in front of people. That's not in front
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: of your friends that she's trying to impress or strangers
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: at the club.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: It seems like he's got a fiery Italian temper and
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: she's got a fiery, you know, Dominican temper. It sounds
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: like the two of them together are going to be fiery.
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: But not in front of other people.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: Screaming. Yeah.
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: The other person.
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Marco and Fabio go. You know, maybe she's just not
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: used to it here yet. And he goes, I don't know.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: She gets mad. She storms off. But, you know, I
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: adore her. She's beautiful. She's perfect for me. She's perfect
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: for me. But her attitude, it needs some work. So
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: he says goodbye to Marco and Fabio. And the minute
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: he walks off, they're like, this is weird. This is
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: never going to work. And the way that they're saying
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: it is like, we all know that he likes dudes, right? Like,
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: this is weird. Like, why does he have this girl here?
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: The way that they're saying it is like there's a
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: huge chunk of information that we don't have.
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: Listen, I'm willing to suspend disbelief and believe that he
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: is just very European.
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: Yes, same.
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: But if it comes out that it was all fake
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: and they are gay BFFs and she is just- She
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: works for his company. And I wouldn't be surprised at all.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: Because it does say, you know, on her LinkedIn- Or
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: even on her Instagram, it says she is like the
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: product manager for his company.
- 1:34:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: And he's the store manager at Hermes, of which I'll
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: be going into every Hermes I see to look for him.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: I'm going to have a picture of him on my phone.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: Do you know this man? So she comes out of
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: the bathroom and she says, you're not listening to me.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: And you exploded at me. And I'm so embarrassed. You
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: were making fun of me. It's not funny. And he goes, okay,
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: you have a problem. We can talk at home, but
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: in a social setting, I need you not to storm off.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: And then she goes, what? And he goes, for me,
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: social engagement, social situation is so important. And she goes, okay,
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: you're the one that did it, but okay. And she goes,
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: I don't want to ride back with you. You've really
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: rubbed me the wrong way. Now she's got her sweatpants
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: on now, thank God. And she goes, I don't feel
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: comfortable on the motorcycle already. He goes, get on the motorcycle.
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: We get home.
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: We got to get home so fast. She goes, no.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: And now you're saying you're going to go fast and
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: I already don't feel comfortable. I don't want to go
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: in it. And he goes, you are ridiculous. And she goes,
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: I'm setting a boundary. I do not want to ride
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: home on the motorcycle. And he goes, this is so stupid.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: So she looks at right at the camera again, looks
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: at producers and goes, can I ride home with you?
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: And the producer says yes. And so he's like, oh, okay. Okay.
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: So she goes, stop. This is too much. And you're
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: the one that's yelling. So She says, she's walking back
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: to the production van. She goes, everybody thinks Vittorio is
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: so cute and so sweet. But this is how he is.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: This is annoying as fuck. So she gets in the
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: van and she goes, he's being so arrogant and disrespectful
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: and acting like a child. And this is not the humble,
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: kind Vittorio I fell in love with. And he rides
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: his motorcycle past the door of the open production van. Like, na-na-na-boo-boo.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: It really was like a little, like a six-year-old.
- 1:36:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: And he rides past it with the little tennis racket
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: sticking out of his backpack and goes, you go fuck yourself. Oh,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: my God. And she's like, oh, my God, fuck off.
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: And then she looks at the production and goes like,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: this is toxic for real. Like, this is bad. So
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: a lot of people do think that all of this
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: was like some big plot employed to get a scene.
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: But I think your point is the correct one. in
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: that she knew she was going to wear the wrong
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: color or order a cappuccino, but she didn't know it
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: was going to be like this. And his friends also
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: were like, you're doing too much. What are you doing?
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: You should be embarrassed. You're screaming. You work here.
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: I am curious to go on Reddit and see if
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: people are still on his side because last week it
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: was like, she's being so spoiled. She doesn't appreciate what
- 1:37:16Speaker 2: a beautiful area that would be to live in. a
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: totally ignoring that he lied to her about it.
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: People on Reddit really hate women.
- 1:37:26Speaker 4: Women.
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: Um, next time on Asriel and Nigel do a cheers
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: in the kitchen to not making it weird. And then
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: to partners in crime.
- 1:37:38Speaker 2: And now it's getting weird.
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: And now it's weird. Cause you just said you guys
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: are partners in crime.
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: Um, And in the talking head, Andy, no, in the
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: talking head, Asriel says, Nigel and I have shared a
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: connection and some intimacy. And in the talking head, Andy goes,
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: there's no way there's not real feelings going on for
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: this person. Like you can see it. Okay. So Zuri
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: is saying to Ben, your sister has been very distant
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: to me. And he says, my sister has been very
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: critical of Zuri for not learning French. And then we
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: see the three of them at dinner and they're speaking
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: in French. And Zuri goes, okay, I know she speaks
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: some English. And the sister hates her. And the sister
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: says something like, just because you learned Spanish. and she didn't, like,
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: it's not a competition, like, whatever. But, like, the sister
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: is staring at her with daggers like she hates her.
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: They all hate her because she won't learn French. Just
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: learn French.
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: Just immerse yourself and do it. It's going to be
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: really hard.
- 1:38:43Speaker 2: Yeah. It's like that. This is something that French people
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: just really hate about Americans, I think, in general. And
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: they just want you to try to speak their language
- 1:38:54Speaker 2: if you're going to be there. And it's like that
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: is the one country that she has gone to where
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: it just does not fly. And she has learned not.
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: And she has had two years apart from him to
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: just slowly duolingo one phrase a day. I mean, you know?
- 1:39:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: Okay. Michelle calls Felix, and it was like, you are lying.
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: You've got a girl there. And he's like, no. And
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: she's like, turn the phone around. Let me see. Turn
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: the phone around. And he won't. And then she tells us,
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: I heard he had a girl, so I hired someone
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: to find out. I'm from the streets, and you can
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: pay anyone to do anything.
- 1:39:33Speaker 4: She has spies in Ghana?
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: And then she's like slamming the door. She lived there
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: for nine months. She made some connections.
- 1:39:41Speaker 2: They have way too many problems. Besides him robbing her,
- 1:39:45Speaker 2: there's now a jealousy issue. It's too much.
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: It's too much.
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: Pick a lane, people. Pick a plot line.
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: Pick one problem. Yeah. So Niles meets with Mr. Ark
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: and Matilda's family. And Mr. Ark says, I have come
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: here today to apologize on behalf of my son, Niles. Seed.
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: My pride and joy from my family, Niles.
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: I love watching him being born, coming out of Mary
- 1:40:15Speaker 2: over here.
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: Just the vagina, no anal. But Niles just is like
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: shaking and sweating and looks terrified. Then we see Jesse
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: saying to Vito... They're in the kitchen. And she says,
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: I'm giving up so much for you. What are you
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: giving up for me? And he's like, oh. And she's like,
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: you lied to me. Because he says, you're a monster.
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: And she goes, but you lied to me. You lied
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: to me. And he goes, you've turned into a monster.
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: Shut the fuck up. Shut the fuck up. And she's like.
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: Terrible.
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: And she goes, he is tripping. I cannot believe he
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: is speaking to people this way. Like, Vittorio.
- 1:40:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: He did post something else on Instagram that I didn't
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: look at. He's like in a Mario costume.
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 1:41:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: And then other people have posted his like valedictorian speech
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: at college where they say he doesn't sound as much like,
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: this is a Mario.
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: Yeah. He's really amped it up apparently.
- 1:41:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:41:14Speaker 1: They say he's still got the accent, but it's not
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: as much. I've not read it. I was like, okay, whatever. Yeah.
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: I wonder if he thought this would be received as
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: it has. Right. Right. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:41:26Speaker 2: Or if he doesn't care, because it's promo for the business.
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: And it may be in fashion. It's like being like
- 1:41:33Speaker 2: a chef. Like if you're angry, but you're a brilliant chef,
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: it doesn't matter. It's fine.
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: Yeah, right, right. Well, he's got me coming to stalk
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: for him in Tuscany. So I'm on my way, like
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: literally on Tuesday. Yeah, I'm on my way. Everybody, that
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: is it. Oh, I had something to play for you, Kimberly.
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: Let me just remember that now my fog from my
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: morning anesthesia is wearing off. I've become a real Michael Jackson,
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: you guys. Just knocking myself out here and here. Okay.
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: I've got something I want to play for you. Now,
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: as we know, when Zuri was traveling to France, she
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: was packing her enchilada sauce. I famously said enchilada. Okay.
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: I have been told I am wrong. Moira Rose from
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: Schitt's Creek would disagree. She would also say enchilada sauce.
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: But I understand that 99.99999% of the world says enchilada.
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: It doesn't roll off the tongue, but there you go. Now,
- 1:42:34Speaker 1: when I was in Mississippi, I asked my parents. I
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: held up a piece of paper and said, how do
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: you say this word? I'm going to play for you
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: that clip now. Okay, here it is. I hope it works.
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: I haven't tested it out to see if it worked,
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: but here we go. Mother, how do you pronounce this word?
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: Enchilada.
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: Okay, how do you pronounce this word? enchilada all right
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: mother so one more time how do you pronounce this
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: word enchilada okay how do you pronounce this word.
- 1:43:04Speaker 2: Enchilada he said enchilada too he did.
- 1:43:09Speaker 4: He should have gone first because i want to hear
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: what he says when he's not right next to her.
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: Uh believe me when i tell you he's not trying
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: to do anything she tells him.
- 1:43:19Speaker 2: So I just think you tend to like repeat the
- 1:43:24Speaker 2: person and then go, wait, is that how I say it?
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: Maybe now I'm not sure how I normally would say it.
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: I need to just not be around someone who's saying it.
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: I held up the piece of paper to my son
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: and asked him. He said enchilada. I held it to
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: my daughter. She said enchilada. My husband said enchilada. My
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: sister said enchilada. My other sister said enchilada. So somehow
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: my parents, somewhere in our lives, saying enchilada, somehow stuck
- 1:43:53Speaker 1: with me. Or I got it from Warrior Rose. I
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: don't know. But I did walk around with that piece
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: of paper in my purse, flashing it at people. How
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: do you say this word? And then my mom, I
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: was putting the piece of paper back in my purse.
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: And it was a card that you got at their
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: little dining room that was like, how are we doing?
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: And I just found a blank space on it. And
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: I go to put it in my purse. My mom goes, now,
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: I want that card. That's a good piece of cardstock.
- 1:44:20Speaker 1: You could use that for something. I was like, did
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: you just become a hoarder just this minute? Just now
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: you became a hoarder? Because she's actually the office. She
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: constantly gets rid of stuff.
- 1:44:35Speaker 2: That's hilarious.
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: But she wanted that cardstock piece of paper. I go, no,
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: this is my prop that I have to show people
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: to figure out. She goes, oh, okay.
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: Check her purse for bottle caps. Old napkins.
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: Ketchup packets.
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: Ketchup. Not ketchup.
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: Ketchup. I'm going to do it again. Anyway, everybody, that's
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: the end of Enchilada Gate. And I have discovered the
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: root of it. And it is my mother. It is
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: my mother.
- 1:45:06Speaker 2: Hilarious. But somehow your sisters escaped unscathed.
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: None of us have ever ordered an enchilada in a restaurant,
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: so it's not a word that we say very often.
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: But now I just feel like I can't stop saying it. Everybody,
- 1:45:20Speaker 1: so this week we had relationship rehab yesterday with Keisha.
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: We've got the other way today, Wednesday. Welcome to Plathville
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: with Keisha and I. And on Thursday, it'll be Poppin'
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: Bravo with Aliza Rosen. And on Friday, you will have
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: 90-Day Hunt for Love Wednesday. Prime with Kimberly and I.
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: I am on all these episodes this week. They're all
- 1:45:41Speaker 1: being recorded in the next day. And next week, it's
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: a full Bunky Takeover with Keisha and Kimberly. They're doing
- 1:45:48Speaker 1: all the shows while I'm in Italy with Vittorio playing tennis.
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: And you guys, it's going to be so fun. It's
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: going to be great.
- 1:45:58Speaker 2: I'm so excited.
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: Not scared at all.
- 1:46:00Speaker 2: I can't wait to hear what Keisha thinks of these people.
- 1:46:03Speaker 1: She hasn't watched a main 90-day show in a long
- 1:46:06Speaker 1: time Oh boy. I told her, I was like, you
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: got to start catching up. There are two hours. And
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: she's like, oh, I was like, yeah, get on it, girl.
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: Are you excited to be able to listen to us?
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: No, she doesn't listen. Are you excited to talk about Plathville?
- 1:46:21Speaker 4: I am.
- 1:46:21Speaker 2: I'm, I'm a little nervous because I'm, I'm just, I
- 1:46:26Speaker 2: haven't watched it in a while. I mean, except that
- 1:46:29Speaker 2: new season. So I'm going to be very confused, like
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: going backward in time, like you were.
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: Yeah. But are you listening? Do you ever listen to
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: the episodes? I always listen to you guys.
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: Where we are in our timeline in Minnesota is starting
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: to get very dark.
- 1:46:45Speaker 2: I'm so excited.
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: We're doing a lot of Olivia and I don't have
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: the same values about child rearing. We're getting a lot
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: of that.
- 1:46:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: We used to be on the same page with our values.
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: But she has changed.
- 1:47:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: We're getting a lot of that.
- 1:47:02Speaker 2: You were willing to look the other way. She was
- 1:47:06Speaker 2: always going to California talking about the gays.
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: She always enjoyed the gays and she's not a racist either.
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: So win, win in the Olivia column. So guys, Keisha
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: and I'll be on this week, Kimberly and Keisha the
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: next week. So that's what's going on. When you log
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: in next week, you'll get to hear those two beauties
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: chatting and hopefully not shitting on me or listen, you
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: definitely want to hear dogs barking in the background. That's
- 1:47:30Speaker 1: what you got going on here. So A dog track.
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: Then I can just.
- 1:47:36Speaker 2: Play a sound effect and go, Ginger! Oh, my God.
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: Make sure you're following Kimberly and Katie over on at Date,
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: Dateline on Instagram, A Date with Kay and Kay on YouTube.
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: And make sure you're following their secondary podcast, A Date
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: with the Bake. That's on YouTube and wherever you get
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: your podcasts.
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: Follow me at PinkShadePod.
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: Okay. okay you got it all the time but it's
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: not it's um ramona ramona yeah okay.
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: I need to see if they covered the first episode
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: of the golden life because ramona just being ramona just
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: just gave me all the feels gave me all the
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: feels loved it so much okay everybody I won't see
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: you next week, but Kimberly will. Bye.
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: Bye.
