- 0:22Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 0:52Speaker 2: And coming to you live from the Sports Allegedly Media Center,
- 0:55Speaker 2: where I am officially.
- 0:57Speaker 3: On IR, and it was both mine and Kenny's worst
- 1:02Speaker 3: weeks of sports all around, I guess. It's Sports Allegedly. Welcome. Welcome, welcome.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Thank you, everybody.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Why do you have that pulled up?
- 1:15Speaker 1: Thanks for joining us today. September 17, 2026. Sean to
- 1:20Speaker 1: my right, I'm Kenny. We appreciate you listening. Thank you
- 1:23Speaker 1: for watching.
- 1:23Speaker 4: We got a lot of views last week on YouTube,
- 1:26Speaker 4: and sorry we missed some of the text. Some of
- 1:27Speaker 4: that stuff doesn't show up, so we're trying.
- 1:31Speaker 3: To do better. Remember to like and to subscribe.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Follow us at Sports Allegedly on the X as my
- 1:39Speaker 1: Six-year-old said, it's no longer Twitter, it is X. And
- 1:42Speaker 1: I said, yes, but for us old folks, it will
- 1:44Speaker 1: always be the Twitter.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Facebook.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yeah, Facebook for sure. Anyway, so lots to talk about.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Had a Sooner fan, had a very rough weekend last
- 1:54Speaker 4: weekend as a Cowboys fan. And I'm not talking the Dallas,
- 1:57Speaker 4: I'm talking the Oak State.
- 1:58Speaker 1: What a weekend for them. We'll recap some of those
- 2:01Speaker 1: games we watched.
- 2:01Speaker 3: We'll talk a little bit.
- 2:03Speaker 4: We'll recap a little bit of NFL. Obviously, we're going
- 2:06Speaker 4: to do some talk about the future games this weekend.
- 2:10Speaker 4: and NFL and talk a little.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Bit about it. It's in about 10 minutes, give or take.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Amazon finally has a decent game on Thursday night. It's
- 2:21Speaker 2: a Lions-Bills game.
- 2:23Speaker 1: What's the over-under? Yeah, 54. Take the over.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Buff by five and a half. But still, it's one
- 2:30Speaker 2: of the first games that I remember being one of
- 2:33Speaker 2: the better games. Remember, because they usually just have trash
- 2:37Speaker 2: teams on them.
- 2:37Speaker 1: You're right.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Jacksonville versus the Browns, kind of like last week, and
- 2:40Speaker 4: that should have been their prime game.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Atlanta Falcons at... Cardinals. Arizona Cardinals.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Which both teams, or Cardinals won, surprise wins. So the
- 2:50Speaker 4: only team that's 0-1 in the NFC West is your
- 2:54Speaker 4: Super Bowl favorite Rams, who we talked about had a
- 2:57Speaker 4: horrible game already because we potted after.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Let's get to the college.
- 3:00Speaker 2: But just think, the New York Jets are leading the
- 3:03Speaker 2: AFC East.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Let's get to the.
- 3:07Speaker 3: College.
- 3:07Speaker 1: We'll talk a little bit.
- 3:08Speaker 3: We're not doing sports news first. We're just doing college.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll finish up sports news at the end.
- 3:12Speaker 3: All right. College.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I'll tell you how, and if you look at our Twitter,
- 3:18Speaker 1: you can kind of get my mood, how that game
- 3:20Speaker 1: was going. I absolutely, and I have always, I've been
- 3:25Speaker 1: saying this. I mentioned it before.
- 3:27Speaker 3: It's been said.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Five to six years, the O-line has been average at best.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Just because we get one out of every three-year guy
- 3:34Speaker 4: in the NFL.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I get that.
- 3:36Speaker 1: We should be rolling two to three a year in
- 3:39Speaker 1: the NFL for that good.
- 3:40Speaker 3: We should be rolling.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Boise State has a better O-line than Oklahoma. I watched
- 3:46Speaker 1: them against Oregon. They have a better O-line.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Okay, well, Oklahoma State proved to have a better O-line
- 3:51Speaker 3: against Oregon as well.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Good point, but we'll talk about them in a minute.
- 3:54Speaker 4: But no, and no running game. I thought the play
- 3:57Speaker 4: calling was average material. He's not fixed anything. He's overthrown.
- 4:02Speaker 4: All the receivers have got to be seven foot, and
- 4:04Speaker 4: our receivers coach only recruits anyone six foot or under.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Somebody said something to me about the OU game getting beat,
- 4:09Speaker 2: and it being bad. I was like, well, we did
- 4:13Speaker 2: hold them to 17 points.
- 4:16Speaker 1: No, we held them to 10.
- 4:17Speaker 4: The defense did. That other seven's been tier. He threw
- 4:20Speaker 4: a fucking pick that went right to the five.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Okay, but still, at the same time, we have an
- 4:24Speaker 2: offense that cannot get started. I'm thinking they might not
- 4:28Speaker 2: even make it to four and eight.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Would they score 20 points once last year or twice
- 4:33Speaker 1: against SEC teams?
- 4:35Speaker 3: I mean. Maybe.
- 4:37Speaker 1: This has been a consistent problem with Venables that just
- 4:40Speaker 1: keeps going.
- 4:41Speaker 3: And I called for his head, and you said no.
- 4:42Speaker 1: No, he doesn't need to be fired. He just needs
- 4:45Speaker 1: to make better decisions.
- 4:46Speaker 2: You ain't got that much time to fix a damn
- 4:48Speaker 2: offense by your ass.
- 4:50Speaker 1: How long has he been there? I would rank that
- 4:53Speaker 1: loss last Saturday as top three disappointing losses of all time.
- 4:56Speaker 1: In the history of a fan.
- 4:58Speaker 2: But congratulations to one of our favorite coaches, Kyle Whittingham.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I do love Kyle.
- 5:04Speaker 3: I mean, that's the bad thing. We lost to Uncle Kyle.
- 5:08Speaker 1: 10-0 at half. I mean, they didn't run the ball.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I mean, you look at.
- 5:14Speaker 3: I did. I looked. I watched the game.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I know we kept getting pinned back.
- 5:17Speaker 1: 100 yards rushing.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I got that we kept getting pinned back, but at
- 5:20Speaker 2: the same time, you have to be able to get
- 5:22Speaker 2: out of that.
- 5:24Speaker 1: No, but I'm going to tell.
- 5:25Speaker 3: No, you do.
- 5:25Speaker 2: You have to be able to get out of getting
- 5:27Speaker 2: pinned back with your run game.
- 5:29Speaker 4: 13 run plays to people that have RB behind their name.
- 5:34Speaker 3: 13.
- 5:35Speaker 1: That's it for the whole game. That's it. I know.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I know.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I know. It's unacceptable.
- 5:41Speaker 2: A lot of people watched. A lot of people upset. Yes,
- 5:44Speaker 2: we were very wrong about it. Five and a half
- 5:47Speaker 2: was the.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Line for OU.
- 5:53Speaker 1: This should have been 24-13, something like that.
- 5:56Speaker 3: It should have been a 30-point game.
- 5:57Speaker 1: And so we're still in the game.
- 5:59Speaker 4: No, not that much. Michigan has got a pretty good defense. No, no,
- 6:03Speaker 4: we should have scored 30. No, we can't score 30.
- 6:04Speaker 3: I'm talking about them 17. We should have still scored 30.
- 6:06Speaker 1: We could score 30 on this defense. It's good.
- 6:08Speaker 4: So, hey, let's talk about Georgia loss. Let's talk about
- 6:11Speaker 4: Texas loss. We can't score 10 points against Michigan.
- 6:14Speaker 1: That's all we scored.
- 6:15Speaker 3: We're going to talk about– I mean, there's.
- 6:17Speaker 1: No games that you're just going to get for sure anymore.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Lobos will lose this week, this coming week, by five. Yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 3: the spread's only 20. Kentucky's going to beat us. Because
- 6:28Speaker 3: I knew they had Alabama down at halftime.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but Alabama ran away with that.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but they still had Alabama down at halftime. South
- 6:35Speaker 2: Carolina beat us. I forget who else we have. Mississippi
- 6:38Speaker 2: State definitely beat us. We got to play them.
- 6:40Speaker 3: It's just.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I was sick. Sick to my stomach.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Sick! He was so sick that he passed out on
- 6:47Speaker 3: the couch from sickness.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Drinking. Not over-drinking, but sickness of the OU loss.
- 6:56Speaker 2: And, hey, congratulations to the undefeated Oklahoma team, University of Tulsa.
- 7:04Speaker 3: You are now 2-0. You have beat a team that
- 7:07Speaker 3: has beat a national title contender.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Now, Sam Houston... Oh, you did. I mean, Tulsa did
- 7:13Speaker 1: not have a good game, especially on the defensive side.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I do not know what happened.
- 7:18Speaker 4: They give up over 300 yards in passing. The spread
- 7:20Speaker 4: was in the 20s, wasn't it? Almost 20. So I
- 7:23Speaker 4: know the Bearcats covered from Sam, you say, and they're 0-2,
- 7:26Speaker 4: and was losing a half.
- 7:28Speaker 1: I mean, Tulsa needs to focus and.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Get better where they need to be. Tulsa was down
- 7:32Speaker 3: 14-10 at halftime.
- 7:33Speaker 1: But otherwise, the game was.
- 7:35Speaker 2: 13, and then you don't score again.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Yeah, the game overall, time possession, penalties, stuff like that
- 7:41Speaker 4: was pretty much even. But the difference in, you know,
- 7:45Speaker 4: they only give up 55 rushing yards, but they give
- 7:47Speaker 4: up over 300 passing yards to this team. So you've
- 7:50Speaker 4: got to do better, especially with some of the teams
- 7:51Speaker 4: that are coming.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that secondary needs to get fixed.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I think that's going to be one of their big
- 7:54Speaker 2: banes anyways for the last couple years. Even beyond that,
- 7:59Speaker 2: it's been their secondary.
- 8:00Speaker 3: They get carved up.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Correct. All right, let's talk about the other.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I don't know if you can find some intelligent secondary.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I mean, Dax, he's not going to work.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Oklahoma State. Oregon comes to town. We wrote them off.
- 8:12Speaker 4: It was 69-3, I think, last year or something.
- 8:17Speaker 1: 67-3.
- 8:17Speaker 3: It was bad. It was bad.
- 8:18Speaker 4: We kind of wrote that game off. And lo and behold,
- 8:21Speaker 4: they're winning 24-17 at half. And I'm still going, no
- 8:25Speaker 4: fucking way. What is going on?
- 8:26Speaker 3: Mestamaker, Mestamer, Mestamerker, whatever his name is.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Drew Mestamaker.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah, he's now up for the Heisman. This Heisman talk
- 8:35Speaker 2: on this kid. But what did we find out this
- 8:39Speaker 2: week about the Oklahoma State team?
- 8:44Speaker 3: That who gave it away? We don't know who gave
- 8:47Speaker 3: it away.
- 8:48Speaker 2: We know that it was said because I read an
- 8:50Speaker 2: article and I watched a video on it. It was
- 8:53Speaker 2: the fact that the Oregon offensive line was giving away
- 8:58Speaker 2: if they were pass or run. And then Deontay Moore
- 9:03Speaker 2: was giving away if he.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Was going to throw or run.
- 9:09Speaker 2: And I'm going to say that I guess that really
- 9:13Speaker 2: does help your defensive coordinator out with what play is
- 9:16Speaker 2: going to call. Hey, look, they're lined up and, you know,
- 9:20Speaker 2: with this much space, they're going to be running it.
- 9:23Speaker 3: So just go ahead and stack the box, guys.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Well, it's smart for OSU to figure it out, for one,
- 9:32Speaker 1: if that's truly what happened.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Right.
- 9:35Speaker 1: But I thought it was a bit odd. We talked
- 9:37Speaker 1: about this earlier before the show. why they brought it
- 9:41Speaker 1: up publicly and how that got leaked. It's like, why
- 9:44Speaker 1: would you tell?
- 9:44Speaker 4: And I think probably the most pissed off people about
- 9:46Speaker 4: it all is the other big 10 teams that maybe
- 9:49Speaker 4: would have picked up on that without Oregon knowing.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Well, yeah. And so now.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Oregon has time, but I mean, congratulations to the Cowboys,
- 9:57Speaker 2: to Oklahoma State Cowboys you guys won you straight out
- 10:01Speaker 2: won you beat the number six team in the nation
- 10:05Speaker 2: uh you didn't get fined for your celebration on the
- 10:07Speaker 2: field you figured out what was going on but you
- 10:11Speaker 2: released it and you got to tell people to stop talking.
- 10:18Speaker 4: So one of the rumors was it was Dante Moore.
- 10:21Speaker 4: You know, pre-snap stance, feet together, run, feet apart, pass.
- 10:30Speaker 1: And I think that.
- 10:33Speaker 4: You know, and maybe no one from OSU released it.
- 10:35Speaker 4: Somebody had to say something. Somebody's picking up on it
- 10:39Speaker 4: and they're going, wait a minute.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Somebody's talking.
- 10:42Speaker 1: And then knows.
- 10:45Speaker 3: That.
- 10:46Speaker 1: It got out, so now you have to kind of backtrack.
- 10:49Speaker 4: Anyway, no, a hell of a win. You lose to Tulsa.
- 10:51Speaker 4: How's your season? So what is OSU? I mean, are
- 10:54Speaker 4: they really good?
- 10:55Speaker 3: What is OSU?
- 10:55Speaker 1: OSU is... Are they going to... You know, this week.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Tulsa's the best team in the nation. OSU is the
- 11:01Speaker 2: second best.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Team in the nation.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Now, they play Murray State this week. It's going to
- 11:05Speaker 1: be a complete drilling.
- 11:06Speaker 3: It's bad. We're not going to talk about the game. Well,
- 11:09Speaker 3: we will, I guess.
- 11:10Speaker 1: No, that's all I'm going to talk about. They're playing
- 11:11Speaker 1: Murray State at 6 o'clock.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Don't we have to pick that game? Are we doing pick-ems?
- 11:15Speaker 1: Oh, shoot. I forgot about that.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Yes. Don't we have to pick that horrible game? I
- 11:18Speaker 3: know you've got the Lobos.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Did we go spread last week or not?
- 11:24Speaker 3: It doesn't matter.
- 11:25Speaker 1: We probably lost. No, we didn't.
- 11:26Speaker 3: No, we didn't. We probably lost.
- 11:29Speaker 1: No, we did. We lost here. And we both had
- 11:32Speaker 1: the Bills. You had the Giants. So you're one up
- 11:39Speaker 1: on me. Woo!
- 11:42Speaker 3: So yeah. You're 5-1, I'm 4-2. Ladies and gentlemen, you
- 11:46Speaker 3: heard it here first. I'm 5-1.
- 11:50Speaker 1: We'll talk about it. You picked the Giants, I picked
- 11:52Speaker 1: the Cowboys. We both picked OU.
- 11:55Speaker 3: I should be 5-1.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Oh, did I get all of them?
- 11:58Speaker 3: OU, yeah. We lost Oregon, too. Oh, shit, that's right.
- 12:03Speaker 3: There she is.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I like to bring Kenny back down there and let
- 12:07Speaker 2: him know what's going on. He tends to forget.
- 12:10Speaker 3: That was a wash.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It wouldn't matter. We both had an extra loss. But yeah,
- 12:13Speaker 1: Murray State, they're going to play.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Sam Murray State. You've heard it here. No, not Sam.
- 12:19Speaker 3: They're coming for you, Sam Murray. Probably going to lose
- 12:23Speaker 3: that game. They're just going to change their stats. All right.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Biggest disappointment game of the week for me, Ohio State
- 12:31Speaker 2: versus Texas.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Ohio State up 23-3.
- 12:33Speaker 1: And Disappointing if you're a Texas fan.
- 12:37Speaker 3: No, no, it's disappointing. I don't know why people keep
- 12:41Speaker 3: saying that Arch Manning brought him back.
- 12:44Speaker 2: That was Mushamp's defense that brought them back. He made
- 12:48Speaker 2: adjustments against Ohio State that gave Arch and the offense
- 12:56Speaker 2: the ability to score.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I don't know if you watched any of that game.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I didn't because I got sick.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, that's right.
- 13:03Speaker 1: You were sick and angry.
- 13:05Speaker 3: He ate some lettuce.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I watched a little bit of it in the first
- 13:11Speaker 1: quarter and Ohio State was looking easily like they were
- 13:14Speaker 1: going to win the game.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Texas made adjustments. Ohio State did not make adjustments. Give
- 13:18Speaker 3: them credit.
- 13:19Speaker 1: You've got to give Texas credit. They won that day.
- 13:23Speaker 1: That's a possible playoff matchup again.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Who do I give credit to? I'm going to give
- 13:27Speaker 3: it to Orange.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I don't think Ohio State's defense is as good as
- 13:31Speaker 1: it was last year. That's by Patricia, isn't it? Yeah,
- 13:34Speaker 1: but I'm talking just players lost.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Right, but I think Machamp made better adjustments.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Hey, we talked that that's one of the bigger, quietest
- 13:42Speaker 1: pickups of a coach.
- 13:43Speaker 3: It really was.
- 13:44Speaker 4: You know, Sarkeesian brought him in, and they're both loud
- 13:47Speaker 4: fireball people, and obviously there's an Alabama connection.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I wish Oklahoma would bring in a– Shout out.
- 13:52Speaker 1: We don't have a defensive problem.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Offensive coordinator. I bet I do. Like that.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Well, I said Brennan Marion years ago, if you remember that.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Now he's– Had three jobs since. One as a head coach,
- 14:02Speaker 4: and he's at Colorado. And while they did win that game,
- 14:06Speaker 4: their offense looks much better.
- 14:09Speaker 1: And the quarterback played like hell in that game.
- 14:12Speaker 2: But from what I've heard is the quarterback playing like
- 14:14Speaker 2: hell is still comparable to Jadeveon Sanders, who played.
- 14:19Speaker 3: There two years ago. What was his name?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Shadir.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Shadir Sanders, who played there. He's had those moments.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Colorado plays Northwestern this week.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Easy win.
- 14:30Speaker 1: You think so?
- 14:31Speaker 3: Yeah, easy win, just like that Notre Dame-Rice 52-0.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Really? Well, it's tough.
- 14:39Speaker 2: What do we got? What else do we have? Is
- 14:41Speaker 2: there any other interesting games? Texas A & M ended
- 14:44Speaker 2: up running.
- 14:44Speaker 1: No, I thought it was a very boring. I thought
- 14:49Speaker 1: it was a very boring.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Alabama.
- 14:52Speaker 2: You remember we did say that Alabama was losing at halftime, 17-13.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Ended up 45-17. I mean, it.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Is just Kentucky. It looks like USC had a little
- 15:08Speaker 2: trouble there against the UL Raging Cajuns.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Their offense is really good.
- 15:13Speaker 3: They have no defense.
- 15:15Speaker 1: 49-30.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Arizona did try to take it to bear Brockmire and
- 15:19Speaker 2: the fighting Mormons.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Noah Fafita, 230 yards, one touchdown. But the....
- 15:29Speaker 2: The Fighting Mormons did come out on top, 28-17. I
- 15:32Speaker 2: know that was an upset for you because I know
- 15:34Speaker 2: you really like Fafita.
- 15:37Speaker 3: You really like Arizona.
- 15:39Speaker 1: No, I didn't really pick them very high. I do
- 15:41Speaker 1: like Fafita.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I thought McMillan being gone last year hurt him. And
- 15:47Speaker 4: he does tend to make some mistakes. So I think
- 15:51Speaker 4: that part he needs to clean up. Tennessee's quietly 2-0.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Utah.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Utah.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Rolls in– Utah has Arkansas come to their house and
- 16:00Speaker 2: rolls Arkansas 43-10 with their new coach.
- 16:03Speaker 4: I kind of think that's what's going to show you
- 16:05Speaker 4: about Arkansas. They're not going to be very good.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Iowa and the– Hey, we called it.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Iowa won.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Iowa won at home finally.
- 16:14Speaker 3: 16-13 in the Cyhawk Bowl. Iowa State. Are they still
- 16:22Speaker 3: trading that back and forth? Or is this the second
- 16:24Speaker 3: year Iowa's won?
- 16:27Speaker 4: I think Iowa won last year, but Iowa State had
- 16:29Speaker 4: been kind of winning Matt Campbell.
- 16:31Speaker 1: They talked about that when he went to Penn State.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I think it was like every away team was winning. Yeah, 16-13,
- 16:36Speaker 3: still not an exciting game. I'm sorry, people in Iowa.
- 16:41Speaker 2: You guys got to get more exciting for any of
- 16:44Speaker 2: us to care. Kansas State over Washington State, 34-7. North
- 16:51Speaker 2: Carolina does beat East Tennessee, but also this week they
- 16:55Speaker 2: have lost.
- 16:57Speaker 3: uh, the baby Billick.
- 16:59Speaker 1: So apparently on medically, but then it's further talks about it.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Investigation.
- 17:04Speaker 1: The conduct doesn't fit, you know, Carolina's blah, blah, blah.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I don't understand what's going on there.
- 17:12Speaker 3: South Florida four point went over army.
- 17:14Speaker 4: You think he's going to, and the funny thing is
- 17:16Speaker 4: he's two at Carolina, probably going to win this week.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I think we'll look at the future. We haven't looked
- 17:22Speaker 1: at that, but I think he's got a winnable game.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Uh, And the problem, ladies and gentlemen, right now is
- 17:28Speaker 2: we're only second week. I mean, you want to hear
- 17:30Speaker 2: about UT Martin versus West Virginia?
- 17:31Speaker 3: No. Colgate versus Central Michigan?
- 17:34Speaker 1: Hey, their quarterback throws the ball in front of them.
- 17:36Speaker 1: People catch it. Hawkins, we used to have that guy.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Get about West Virginia. Remember that guy? Yeah.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Mississippi State takes it to Minnesota 38-13.
- 17:45Speaker 2: It looks like Mississippi State might not be at the
- 17:48Speaker 2: bottom of the barrel this season that OU is going
- 17:50Speaker 2: to be that team.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Pittsburgh beat UCF 12-7.
- 17:56Speaker 4: That would surprise me because I like the Heinzel kid,
- 17:58Speaker 4: and I made a comment talking to a couple of friends.
- 18:00Speaker 3: I think you just like Pittsburgh.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Oh, you need to go after that kid.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Right, but I believe that you had Pittsburgh, you know,
- 18:07Speaker 3: picked a little higher than I did.
- 18:08Speaker 1: We're going to have to spend some money next year
- 18:10Speaker 1: on a quarterback that's proven.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Well, you know, little Debbie.
- 18:14Speaker 1: And California.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Kerr McGee, we need you to pony up.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Tasha Boy's first win as coach. Congratulations, Tasha. For his
- 18:23Speaker 1: first win. And the Duke upset. That was one that
- 18:26Speaker 1: kind of surprised me as well.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Oh, that really was. It really was.
- 18:30Speaker 4: Because a lot of people, we had them 9-3, Sean,
- 18:33Speaker 4: if you remember. We were worried about Duke and the
- 18:36Speaker 4: Mensa leaving. You know, we were worried about Duke's, how
- 18:40Speaker 4: they would.
- 18:41Speaker 2: You got to remember who their coach is. And the
- 18:43Speaker 2: reason why he's the coach there. Remember, he didn't do
- 18:47Speaker 2: bad in Miami. He was just replaced for a bigger name.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, but who was it?
- 18:59Speaker 3: Manny Diaz.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Oh, no, I know Manny.
- 19:01Speaker 2: But what I'm saying is he was replaced in Miami
- 19:06Speaker 2: for a bigger name, for Mario Cristobal.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 19:12Speaker 3: And so he just went to Duke. And I may
- 19:15Speaker 3: have misjudged Duke.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Well, we know they're always smart.
- 19:19Speaker 2: We know they're smart, but I think the Duke football
- 19:22Speaker 2: team has gotten better.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Or, hey, maybe we overjudge. Yeah, I was going to say,
- 19:28Speaker 1: is that maybe a little bit more of that? A
- 19:31Speaker 1: little bit more of that.
- 19:32Speaker 3: I don't want Brett Belima to leave. I like his
- 19:35Speaker 3: loud mouth and his angry taste.
- 19:38Speaker 1: All right, let's get on to the next game. There's
- 19:40Speaker 1: my love. All of a sudden. Week two was bad.
- 19:44Speaker 3: It really was. Your boy Jackson Arnold got beaten by
- 19:49Speaker 3: North Texas.
- 19:49Speaker 1: He's even playing.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Here's the thing.
- 19:53Speaker 2: New Mexico beat Mercyhurst 70-7.
- 19:59Speaker 3: I forgot who is New Mexico's coach. Ertz Yes, and
- 20:06Speaker 3: it's very possible that we get upset by them.
- 20:08Speaker 1: No, they're not going to upset us, but it's going
- 20:11Speaker 1: to be close.
- 20:11Speaker 2: They're going to upset your tummy again. Battle of the
- 20:16Speaker 2: group of five leaders, Memphis.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Sorry, not Ernst. Jason A. Hey, they won 10 games
- 20:21Speaker 1: last year. New Mexico did.
- 20:23Speaker 3: I'm in the middle of something.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Boise State beats Memphis 38-20.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Oh, you're talking about a game.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Well, it's the battle of the G6.
- 20:30Speaker 2: It's a battle of who's the best in the G6.
- 20:33Speaker 2: And right now, everybody's saying it's Boise and Memphis.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Yeah, but I mean, I don't know. Does Boise look
- 20:37Speaker 4: so good after losing to Oregon? Then OSU turns around
- 20:40Speaker 4: and pretty much bitch slaps them.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I know.
- 20:42Speaker 1: What does that say about you?
- 20:44Speaker 4: OSU had over 500 yards of offense against the defense
- 20:47Speaker 4: that Dan Lanning says is supposed to be better than
- 20:49Speaker 4: it was last year. He's a defensive specialist. See, that's
- 20:52Speaker 4: why when you talk about Venables leaving... You know, you
- 20:55Speaker 4: talk about Venables wanting to get fired. We don't do
- 20:58Speaker 4: that at Oklahoma on the defense. But they are. That's
- 21:01Speaker 4: the concerning part. If people were putting up five, six
- 21:04Speaker 4: yards on our defense, that would have me going, yes, go.
- 21:07Speaker 4: He just needs to make some changes as far as getting,
- 21:13Speaker 4: you know, the offense right. And you're going to have
- 21:15Speaker 4: to make tough decisions on hiring coaches that have been there.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Anybody that knows the show knows who the hell I'm
- 21:21Speaker 4: talking about.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Exactly. That needs to go off that fucking football.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Oh, I'm sure we all know. Why isn't my computer
- 21:29Speaker 3: heating the fuck up?
- 21:30Speaker 1: Ted already at 14, nothing.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Uh, Friday game of wake forest, Miami. Nobody cares. It's
- 21:37Speaker 3: going to be a shellacking 20 and a half.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Miami looks Houston.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Texas is going to be the game to watch tomorrow
- 21:43Speaker 2: at 7 PM.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Is that a Friday game too?
- 21:45Speaker 3: It is 22.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Houston comes to, uh, Lubbock, Texas at the galaxy, uh,
- 21:51Speaker 2: Samsung Galaxy, the best phone, Stadium Arena.
- 21:56Speaker 3: It's a Texas Tech by seven and a half. Over Houston.
- 22:02Speaker 3: And it's possible Houston pulls that out. I'm taking Houston
- 22:05Speaker 3: for that.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I would take them with the spread. I don't
- 22:08Speaker 4: know about a straight-up win, but the Connor Wigman, former
- 22:12Speaker 4: A & M quarterback.
- 22:14Speaker 1: For Houston, looks really good.
- 22:16Speaker 4: I talked about, I can't think of his, why am
- 22:17Speaker 4: I drawing a name blank off his coach, the name
- 22:20Speaker 4: from Tulane.
- 22:21Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no.
- 22:22Speaker 1: The Houston coach. Willie Fritz. That's who it is, Willie Fritz.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Always builds.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Give him one year to fix things. They didn't do
- 22:29Speaker 1: so well last year. But he's always going to have
- 22:31Speaker 1: a better team. So, no, I do think that's a
- 22:34Speaker 1: really good game. I didn't realize that was a Friday
- 22:36Speaker 1: night game. I thought that was going to be center.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Yeah, you've got Solana coming to town.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Yes.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Uh... SEC game, Mississippi State is going to South Carolina.
- 22:47Speaker 2: This is going to be a game that is not
- 22:50Speaker 2: going to get Jeff Levy fired if he loses, but
- 22:53Speaker 2: I can see it putting more heat on Beamer if
- 22:59Speaker 2: he loses at South Carolina.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Beamer needs it more than Levy. But it's a pretty
- 23:04Speaker 1: mixed bag.
- 23:05Speaker 3: And it's only South Carolina by four.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Does the 58 kind of surprise you?
- 23:09Speaker 3: Nope. No, but the amount of points that Mississippi State's
- 23:12Speaker 3: been putting up recently.
- 23:14Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. I think the over carries that.
- 23:17Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Right, but that's what I'm saying. You said it's 58.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Surprise you. No, I think it's like a 69 or
- 23:23Speaker 3: a 7. Yeah, I would agree. All right.
- 23:27Speaker 2: A little preview of OU New Mexico. The Lobos are coming.
- 23:33Speaker 2: The Lobos are coming. I don't remember who they are.
- 23:35Speaker 1: They are the Lobos, yes.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Well, because New Mexico State is the Comancheros or something.
- 23:41Speaker 2: The Lobo is coming to Oklahoma. It's going to be
- 23:44Speaker 2: a balmy 97 degrees. OU is favored by 21.5. The spread, however,
- 23:51Speaker 2: is only 45.5. Let's go for the lower on that one.
- 23:56Speaker 2: It seems that New Mexico comes in with a heavy
- 23:58Speaker 2: run game as Humphrey is 174 yards on the season
- 24:03Speaker 2: three tutties. And I'm taking this to be a close game.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I'm telling you, it's going to be closer than 21
- 24:12Speaker 2: and a half. OU's offense, unless they change something, unless
- 24:17Speaker 2: I'm surprised and they change something, and OU does make
- 24:25Speaker 2: the adjustments and does fix the offense and that keeps
- 24:29Speaker 2: going forward, I'm going to take.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I'm taking New Mexico close.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Well, I don't think... I think a lot of it's
- 24:40Speaker 4: more about dudes than coaches. You know, I bitch about
- 24:42Speaker 4: the coaches, but the coach has got to bring the
- 24:43Speaker 4: dudes in. I think the quarterback... Ladies and gentlemen, Kenny
- 24:46Speaker 4: loves dudes. No, I think the quarterback is just mid.
- 24:50Speaker 4: And the play calling needs to run the ball more. Unfortunately,
- 24:53Speaker 4: what they're going to do is they're going to get
- 24:54Speaker 4: our hopes up again. I think they have a good game.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I think they cover the 21. I think they also
- 24:58Speaker 4: go over the 45. I think OU scores.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 25:01Speaker 4: I think OU scores a bunch and makes it look
- 25:07Speaker 4: like everything is righted, but I give no hope to
- 25:10Speaker 4: this team.
- 25:12Speaker 3: As I said, we would be lucky to be four tonight.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Oh, bitch. And it's offense. I mean, Satanga's really good,
- 25:21Speaker 1: but Mateer can't throw to him. They're trying to run
- 25:23Speaker 1: Satanga on these end rounds. Why don't you do what
- 25:25Speaker 1: you did in UTEP and run the fucking ball? I
- 25:27Speaker 1: don't know why you done that and then turn around
- 25:30Speaker 1: and try to get cutesy. It's like run the fucking ball.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Like I said earlier, it was what, 13 carries by
- 25:34Speaker 1: running backs?
- 25:35Speaker 3: For a whole game. For a whole game.
- 25:39Speaker 1: No, I'm beyond hurt. I'm fucking pissed about that.
- 25:43Speaker 3: He's going to go home and beat us. He doesn't
- 25:45Speaker 3: have a wife. He's just going to drunk pass out again.
- 25:48Speaker 3: But I don't. I was sick. Oh, sick. Sorry. Sorry,
- 25:51Speaker 3: he's sick. Sick pass out. It's just. I know. It's infuriating.
- 25:57Speaker 3: It's frustrating.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Like I said, it's one of the most pissed off
- 25:59Speaker 1: I've ever been after a game. And I've been a
- 26:01Speaker 1: fan since I was my teens.
- 26:03Speaker 2: And it was a game that we should have won.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Yes. Yes.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Yes. At least by 10. I'll give you that.
- 26:09Speaker 1: And then you're like, okay, Mateer, it's tied. Go.
- 26:13Speaker 3: And you're down.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Just don't make a mistake. Oh, let me throw that
- 26:15Speaker 1: right fucking to you.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Go.
- 26:17Speaker 1: And then let him run it down to the fifth, five.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Oh, I watched numerous opportunities for him to throw, and
- 26:22Speaker 3: he made bad decisions.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Overhead, overhead, overhead. It's like, it's cool.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Maybe you shouldn't have bulked up so much. No, no,
- 26:29Speaker 4: I remember the pictures. You know, all the pictures and stuff,
- 26:32Speaker 4: and it's like, I.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Remember the same picture, seeing John Mateer's.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Sweet, sweet fucking body.
- 26:39Speaker 4: I'd rather see you studying and doing some mechanical work,
- 26:42Speaker 4: which you think he's done, and he still hasn't fixed anything.
- 26:44Speaker 3: No, he got in the gym and he made himself sexy.
- 26:45Speaker 1: But what have I said for the past five or
- 26:47Speaker 1: six years with other quarterbacks? The O-line is fucking average.
- 26:50Speaker 1: We're not any good. We have good players, but we never,
- 26:54Speaker 1: like Fasusi is an all-star. He's all world. I'll be
- 26:58Speaker 1: surprised if he doesn't leave after this year.
- 26:59Speaker 3: There's a certain head coach that Kenny's coming for.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Not a head. It's just time.
- 27:04Speaker 3: No, I said a certain coach.
- 27:05Speaker 1: You said head coach.
- 27:07Speaker 3: No, just a certain OU coach.
- 27:09Speaker 2: There's a certain OU coach that you're going to not
- 27:12Speaker 2: beat Kenny in a dark alley because you'll beat him up.
- 27:14Speaker 1: No, he would, but I'm just saying it's just the
- 27:17Speaker 1: same old shit every year.
- 27:18Speaker 3: He'll get scratches.
- 27:19Speaker 1: It's the same shit every year.
- 27:21Speaker 3: I know. Lack of offense, great defense.
- 27:23Speaker 1: There's no depth on the offense.
- 27:25Speaker 3: That's any good.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Number seven defense, number 147 offense.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Yeah, we're in the hundreds by rushing. Well, I forgot
- 27:33Speaker 3: what it was.
- 27:34Speaker 4: But 13 carries for a running back in the whole game.
- 27:37Speaker 4: That's not the fourth quarter. That's the whole game.
- 27:39Speaker 2: And if anybody wants to watch that, that's actually going
- 27:41Speaker 2: to be on ESPN2 for some reason.
- 27:45Speaker 3: And in the 7.
- 27:46Speaker 2: O'clock game against East Texas A & M, favored by 42.5, which.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I've never seen, the Tulsa Hurricane.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I think it's the largest margin of victory I've seen.
- 28:00Speaker 1: I would say so.
- 28:02Speaker 2: We're just going to go ahead and take that one
- 28:04Speaker 2: as a slap. Okay, so Tulsa, the spread for Tulsa
- 28:09Speaker 2: is 42.5, right?
- 28:11Speaker 3: Look at the total, 56.5. They're going to give them
- 28:15Speaker 3: 10 points.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. No, they're not any good, I guess.
- 28:22Speaker 2: One of the better games, Georgia is going to roll
- 28:24Speaker 2: into Arkansas.
- 28:25Speaker 3: We're going to see who Arkansas really is this week.
- 28:27Speaker 1: That's not a better game.
- 28:28Speaker 3: We're going to see who Arkansas really is this week.
- 28:32Speaker 2: George is going to come in and spank him, but
- 28:34Speaker 2: we got to see.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Who Arkansas really is this week. We got to talk
- 28:37Speaker 3: about Arkansas. They're right there. Your family's from Arkansas. It's bad.
- 28:41Speaker 1: That's bad, too. Silverfield, I think, like I said, is out.
- 28:43Speaker 3: In two years.
- 28:44Speaker 1: And they're going to start over again.
- 28:45Speaker 3: It's not unheard that your family might have inbred at
- 28:47Speaker 3: some point.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Nobody said that. Oh, I did.
- 28:50Speaker 3: I did. Let's move on.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Let's talk about the few good games.
- 28:52Speaker 3: All right.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Ohio State versus Kent State.
- 28:54Speaker 3: That's not a good game.
- 28:55Speaker 1: That's not a good game.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Penn State versus Buffalo.
- 28:58Speaker 1: There's not a lot of good games.
- 29:00Speaker 3: No, we're back at that. Kansas-Arizona State will be a
- 29:03Speaker 3: decent game to watch. It'll be competitive. But it is
- 29:06Speaker 3: in Wembley in London.
- 29:09Speaker 1: England. Fun for them.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Yes. Travel is.
- 29:13Speaker 2: It's going to be, here's an interesting 11 a.m.
- 29:18Speaker 3: North Carolina Clemson.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Who's the worst? Who's the better has-been?
- 29:24Speaker 2: You just lost your son to defensive coordinator for misconduct.
- 29:29Speaker 4: Don't forget the general manager's been out for a while
- 29:31Speaker 4: of misconduct as well.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I guess some lady, they probably made a dick joke
- 29:36Speaker 2: to some lady, and that lady's upset.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Oh you know that it was the caterpillar fucking a
- 29:42Speaker 2: french fry cartoon they sent out i haven't seen that
- 29:46Speaker 2: oh you've never seen that it's back in the 80s
- 29:48Speaker 2: dog might have a copy of it nc state vandy
- 29:56Speaker 2: we'll see if vandy is still legit Or if Kenny's
- 30:01Speaker 2: dream ACC title winner and future.
- 30:07Speaker 1: How do you get all my tabs back? Oh, my God.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Hold on. Open it back up.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Sorry for that. You know I'm not very computer literate.
- 30:19Speaker 3: I don't know why he did this.
- 30:21Speaker 1: It's kind of annoying. I blame the computer, honestly.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:28Speaker 1: There we go.
- 30:29Speaker 3: That's it. Thank you. He's got fat hands. There's a
- 30:34Speaker 3: touchpad down there that he can use. Okay, so see, look.
- 30:37Speaker 1: I just took off one and it disappeared again. Stupid.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Go to history.
- 30:42Speaker 1: History.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Go to 21 tabs. Restore window.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I just wanted to click out of that. It clicks
- 30:51Speaker 1: out of everything.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that closes it. That's the closing window. What are
- 30:57Speaker 3: you doing? If you go here.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Oh, there we go.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Just stop. Just stop opening windows.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Illinois has got the Salukis of Southern Illinois.
- 31:13Speaker 3: I know the Southern Illinois Salukis are.
- 31:16Speaker 1: One of the favorite. Like I said, are we going
- 31:17Speaker 1: to talk about good games? Let's talk about the good games.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Alabama-Florida State. That's not. No, but will this be a
- 31:23Speaker 3: repeat of last year? No. Florida State beat Alabama in.
- 31:29Speaker 4: I think I feel like Florida State fans and OU
- 31:33Speaker 4: fans feel the same right now.
- 31:35Speaker 3: No, I got it. I got it.
- 31:36Speaker 2: And, you know, there may or may not have been
- 31:38Speaker 2: a moving truck moving some high items out of Norvell's
- 31:42Speaker 2: house in Florida. But you do remember that this was
- 31:46Speaker 2: an upset game last season.
- 31:47Speaker 1: It was, but it ain't.
- 31:48Speaker 3: Alabama's only favored by 19 and a half.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Only?
- 31:52Speaker 3: Okay. And it's at Brian Dennehy Stadium. And, dude.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Florida State did upset them. And remember that, oh, you
- 32:01Speaker 2: beat them until we got to the playoff.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Not happening this year.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Well, I know that. We can't even beat ourselves.
- 32:08Speaker 1: No, I'm talking about that game either. I like the
- 32:11Speaker 1: SMU-Louisville game. Yeah, I was going to talk about this.
- 32:13Speaker 3: I'm going to talk about SMU-Louisville.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Jennings is one of the better passers, but Louisville does
- 32:19Speaker 2: have a very, very good quarterback.
- 32:21Speaker 1: The Keenholts, I think is how you pronounce it.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Is that who it was?
- 32:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:25Speaker 2: This is going to be a game to watch to
- 32:28Speaker 2: see who makes it to the top of the ACC
- 32:30Speaker 2: with Miami.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Pretty much what we talked about.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Yes. Number 16, SMU.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Let's look at my ACC schedule.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Oh, my God. He finally found it. Let's see. I
- 32:42Speaker 3: hate him. He couldn't have had this like two weeks ago.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Miami and SMU is who I had.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Okay. So you need SMU to pull it out. 2-0 SMU.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Jennings has looked really good. He's looked a really good quarterback.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Wouldn't bet any money on it.
- 33:01Speaker 2: He says he wouldn't bet any money, but yet somehow
- 33:04Speaker 2: I have to send money to.
- 33:06Speaker 1: That's for other things.
- 33:07Speaker 3: I don't bet, yes. Yes, you do, Kenny.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Just for the bets.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Yes. Duke, Stanford, Liberty. I haven't seen anything fun this week.
- 33:18Speaker 3: Told you.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Florida, Auburn.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Florida, Auburn. Battle of the brand new coaches. Here you go.
- 33:24Speaker 1: I like Florida. Uh-huh. And I'm wondering if I had
- 33:28Speaker 1: that picked. Going through my schedules here. Yeah, he's got
- 33:37Speaker 1: to figure out where he's at. I had Auburn winning
- 33:39Speaker 1: the game.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Uh-oh. I had Florida winning the game.
- 33:41Speaker 1: But I'm leaning towards Florida. You know why I'd done that, though,
- 33:45Speaker 1: is because Auburn was at home.
- 33:46Speaker 3: You were a sucker.
- 33:48Speaker 1: No, and that was why. I could see that.
- 33:50Speaker 2: You were in love.
- 33:53Speaker 3: God, Josh Allen's already on the board.
- 33:55Speaker 1: I have. I got to check my fantasy to make
- 33:58Speaker 1: sure I kept Dante Moore in there.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Of course, I have. You mean DJ Moore? DJ Moore.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Sorry. He's at a negative 10 currently.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Dante Moore.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Cool. He's at a negative 10. What do you fucking do? Fumble?
- 34:11Speaker 3: Lord. Oh, DJ Moore already negative one yard. No passing. Cool.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Josh Allen's already got a fumble. Why couldn't you have
- 34:18Speaker 2: done that last week, Josh Allen? Sam Laporte has already
- 34:23Speaker 2: got two tutties.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Two tutties.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Oh shit, there's another score. They just scored again.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Who did? The Bills. Oh my God. How did that happen?
- 34:33Speaker 1: Hopefully it's DJ Moore.
- 34:34Speaker 2: No, it's probably Jared Goff probably just threw an interception
- 34:38Speaker 2: at it because I started Jared Goff.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Oh, did you really?
- 34:41Speaker 3: Don't tell me that he did that.
- 34:44Speaker 1: I haven't seen anything yet.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Okay, no, Josh Allen has a rushing touchdown and a
- 34:49Speaker 2: passing touchdown.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Okay. But I'm sure that... Did he fumble?
- 34:55Speaker 1: No. No.
- 34:56Speaker 4: Maybe it's just a quick three and out for you.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Oh, it's always a quick three and out for me.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Oklahoma State is playing Murray State on the ESPN +.
- 35:05Speaker 2: We already know how that's going to go. Can they
- 35:07Speaker 2: figure out their line sets? UT Martin going to Memphis.
- 35:11Speaker 1: We've all picked the local teams.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Nickel State. Notre Dame. Michigan State.
- 35:16Speaker 1: No, the big game is the one big game. It's
- 35:19Speaker 1: LSU-Ole Miss.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Hold on. No, that's not a big game.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Stop, stop.
- 35:22Speaker 3: I know that you're a fan of Michigan State.
- 35:24Speaker 1: No, you just know I'm not, and we just sat
- 35:25Speaker 1: here talking about the Ole Miss game.
- 35:27Speaker 3: You did. You're a big fan of Michigan State.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I like their coach.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Huge fan of Michigan State. Yeah, biggest game.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Is Ole Lane going back to Ole Miss. Now, will
- 35:38Speaker 2: the fans be very nice?
- 35:40Speaker 1: Oh, this would be a game I would love to
- 35:42Speaker 1: be in.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but I don't think we can get a hotel
- 35:44Speaker 2: in Memphis. I don't think you can get a hotel
- 35:47Speaker 2: anywhere around there right now. From what I've heard, from
- 35:52Speaker 2: lower Mississippi to, or from middle Mississippi to lower.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Is this a Jerry Reid song?
- 36:00Speaker 3: Yeah. To lower Tennessee, you ain't getting a ticket.
- 36:04Speaker 1: You ain't getting no ticket.
- 36:05Speaker 3: You ain't getting no ticket down there.
- 36:07Speaker 4: So Sam Leavitt, obviously transfer quarterback for LSU.
- 36:10Speaker 3: No, dude, it's a smokescreen.
- 36:12Speaker 1: You think so? Yeah. Now, I've read a couple reports
- 36:15Speaker 1: that Mississippi players and coaches are dead set on thinking
- 36:19Speaker 1: that he is out.
- 36:20Speaker 4: They're planning for it. They don't think it's a trick
- 36:23Speaker 4: as far as what's going on.
- 36:25Speaker 3: You can't trust Lane Kiffin.
- 36:27Speaker 1: So you talk about LSU three-point favorites at Ole Miss. Generally,
- 36:30Speaker 1: the home team usually gets a little love, and I
- 36:35Speaker 1: guess they are. LSU is a better– I think you're
- 36:39Speaker 1: going to want to scroll through some shit.
- 36:41Speaker 4: No, LSU is the better team. So LSU comes into
- 36:44Speaker 4: Ole Miss 630 ABC primetime. You're damn right it is.
- 36:47Speaker 4: And look at Ole Miss getting a night game. Lane
- 36:50Speaker 4: always bitched that Ole Miss always had to start at 2.30,
- 36:54Speaker 4: 11 a.m. They get that big primetime night game in
- 36:58Speaker 4: the Grove, which we went there a couple years ago.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Fantastic atmosphere. And it was a day game too. It
- 37:04Speaker 1: was an early game, which was disappointing. But they come
- 37:07Speaker 1: out and show this game, Lane returning is going to
- 37:10Speaker 1: be absolutely insane. Now, Levitt's been upgraded to questionable rather
- 37:16Speaker 1: than doubtful, so I wanted to make you aware of that.
- 37:18Speaker 1: That just came across.
- 37:19Speaker 4: In the first report, I think it was Wednesday, it
- 37:21Speaker 4: comes across he's doubtful and now he's questionable. It's got
- 37:24Speaker 4: some shoulder soreness or something, which tells me it's nothing major.
- 37:27Speaker 4: They're just going to kind of wait and see how
- 37:28Speaker 4: it goes.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I think what Lane might be doing, also like Sean said,
- 37:34Speaker 1: maybe he's a smokescreen. He's also going to say, hey,
- 37:37Speaker 1: let's throw him on there.
- 37:38Speaker 4: In case he does miss and it doesn't piss the
- 37:40Speaker 4: world off that the starting quarterback for LSU is just
- 37:43Speaker 4: sitting on the bench. And then you have all kinds
- 37:45Speaker 4: of drama then. So I like LSU in this game.
- 37:50Speaker 4: I think Sam Leavitt will play, even though statistically he's
- 37:53Speaker 4: not been the best as far as what you're talking about.
- 37:58Speaker 4: He's already thrown four picks, but his legs is what's
- 38:01Speaker 4: going to carry him. Now, I thought Ole Miss, when
- 38:03Speaker 4: you talk about they're ranked very high, and so is OU,
- 38:06Speaker 4: aren't they?
- 38:09Speaker 1: They didn't look as... spectacular as, as you would want to,
- 38:15Speaker 1: especially on the defensive side.
- 38:17Speaker 4: Now you got Kyron Lacey, you got Trinidad Chambliss. I mean,
- 38:20Speaker 4: the offense is, is, is right there, but can they keep.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Up with LSU?
- 38:25Speaker 4: And I think LSU, and I think both sides are
- 38:28Speaker 4: going to be in this point proven type mode. Lane's
- 38:32Speaker 4: going to want to run it up on purpose, but
- 38:34Speaker 4: he's going to be the guy that acts like he's
- 38:36Speaker 4: humble when he comes back, you know, Ole Miss, I
- 38:39Speaker 4: have a lot of great memories. I mean, I can
- 38:40Speaker 4: already see the blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And Ole Miss,
- 38:43Speaker 4: the fans are going to be rocking. And Pete Golden's
- 38:45Speaker 4: going to want to kill them. It's a point-proven game.
- 38:48Speaker 4: But is the pressure too much for one of the teams?
- 38:50Speaker 4: That's a concern I have for that. But I like LSU.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Here's a question. Now, didn't he take the defensive coordinator?
- 38:57Speaker 1: What?
- 38:58Speaker 3: Lane.
- 38:58Speaker 1: No, he's the head coach. He took Charlie Weiss, the
- 39:02Speaker 1: offensive coordinator.
- 39:03Speaker 3: So he took the offensive corner. Golden was the defensive corner.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Was defense. Now he's head coach.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Here's an issue. These guys have been coaching against each other.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Oh, it'll be fun.
- 39:12Speaker 2: We're going to see either somebody exploiting what they know
- 39:19Speaker 2: about the other, or we're going to see a stalemate.
- 39:23Speaker 1: Well, that's kind of why I was talking about the
- 39:25Speaker 1: pressure on both sides.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Do we get sloppy? That's curiosity for me.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Are we going to see a blowout or are we
- 39:31Speaker 2: going to see a stalemate of, I know what you're
- 39:34Speaker 2: going to call, I'm going to call this.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Unlike that Super Bowl that Tampa Bay won where it
- 39:40Speaker 3: was a farce and it was cheating because they knew
- 39:46Speaker 3: all the plays.
- 39:47Speaker 1: No, the other team doesn't adjust. That's their fault. It's
- 39:50Speaker 1: not cheating.
- 39:51Speaker 3: No, he cheated. Oh, Bo, what did he used to
- 39:55Speaker 3: call him?
- 39:56Speaker 1: You called him Bo Callahan.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Yeah, Bo Callahan because he looked like a Bridges.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Yeah, he looked like Bo Bridges. That is a fact.
- 40:06Speaker 1: That is a fact.
- 40:07Speaker 2: That's one of our favorite first names for a coach.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I'm going to take LSU in this.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Oh, me too. Are you writing that down?
- 40:16Speaker 1: I thought we only picked three and three. We only
- 40:18Speaker 1: did three.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Well, we talked about taking two. We'll just do three.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Let's take this game, too. Okay.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Well, I mean, we're both picking the same. Okay. Cheat.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Cheat.
- 40:29Speaker 3: After that.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Well, West Virginia. Virginia's interesting. It's a rival game. Is
- 40:34Speaker 1: Virginia for real? Right. Maybe Virginia was my North Carolina state,
- 40:37Speaker 1: and I just missed it.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Pribula.
- 40:39Speaker 2: I know Pribula's been talked about. He is rising in
- 40:43Speaker 2: the Heisman category.
- 40:44Speaker 4: Which I had Virginia at 9-3. It's not like I
- 40:46Speaker 4: dropped him way down.
- 40:48Speaker 3: He's rising in the Heisman talk.
- 40:50Speaker 1: I don't think anybody's talking about Heisman right now. I
- 40:53Speaker 1: think that's just.
- 40:53Speaker 3: No, I'm just. It's overreaction.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Look for Mensah. Mensah will be there. Arch will be there.
- 40:58Speaker 2: It's overreactions for the first two weeks. You know how
- 41:01Speaker 2: people like to do.
- 41:02Speaker 1: I like the receiver at Indiana. And I'm drawing a
- 41:06Speaker 1: blank on his name.
- 41:07Speaker 3: He's had a really good start. Yeah. I know Julian
- 41:11Speaker 3: Say and Stock fell for that. But I know Pribula's
- 41:14Speaker 3: been moving up.
- 41:15Speaker 2: And I'm only saying this because he's a guy that
- 41:17Speaker 2: came in that you would not expect to be in
- 41:19Speaker 2: that Heisman talk.
- 41:20Speaker 1: But he's a well-paid transfer.
- 41:24Speaker 3: Correct.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I mean, it's not like he gets scrubbed.
- 41:26Speaker 2: 317 yards, five touchdowns, one INT on the season. Michael
- 41:29Speaker 2: Hawkins comes in as the leading rusher for this game
- 41:32Speaker 2: at 26 carries, 199 yards, three touchdowns, which OU could
- 41:36Speaker 2: have definitely used in multiple games. You know, congratulations, Hawkins.
- 41:42Speaker 2: I hope that you develop an arm. At some point.
- 41:45Speaker 1: They all develop something better when they leave.
- 41:46Speaker 3: No, no, he's great as a running back, but I'm
- 41:48Speaker 3: hoping that he develops an arm at some point.
- 41:50Speaker 1: I think he's played pretty well.
- 41:53Speaker 3: But not to be.
- 41:54Speaker 1: But.
- 41:55Speaker 3: You need to be leading in both categories.
- 41:58Speaker 1: But he has not... They haven't played a whole lot
- 42:02Speaker 1: of tough competition either.
- 42:04Speaker 3: Correct.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Correct.
- 42:05Speaker 3: Now, Virginia, this is going to be the test for
- 42:06Speaker 3: these two teams of Virginia, West Virginia.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Because it was UT Martin and somebody else.
- 42:11Speaker 3: And I think... Yeah, and I think I called Virginia
- 42:15Speaker 3: as one of my dark horses.
- 42:18Speaker 1: I have nine and three, so I think they're good.
- 42:19Speaker 4: It wasn't my dark horse because I think they're good
- 42:23Speaker 4: after watching last year.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Out of that, we have nothing left for college football.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Well, there's our picks. Let's move on to the NFL
- 42:33Speaker 1: as we get moseying on out of here.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Daddy's going to get home tomorrow.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Already late.
- 42:42Speaker 3: That is good. That Detroit defense is back, baby.
- 42:44Speaker 1: That was the thing that they had to improve on
- 42:49Speaker 1: this year.
- 42:50Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 42:50Speaker 1: And it doesn't look like anything has been done.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Apparently my fantasy football quarterback.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Because look, it was the Saints last week. Two-point conversion
- 42:59Speaker 1: just missed it.
- 43:01Speaker 3: They go to beat them. Whoever Tina's playing right now
- 43:03Speaker 3: is getting torn up.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Ha!
- 43:04Speaker 2: Josh Allen, 97 yards passing, one touchdown. Josh Allen, 40
- 43:09Speaker 2: yards rushing, one touchdown. My starting quarterback, Jared Goff, because,
- 43:15Speaker 2: I mean, why start Herbert?
- 43:16Speaker 3: Because he's an idiot. Lost all of his guys. Jared Goff,
- 43:21Speaker 3: two yards passing.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Jameer Gibbs, 25 yards rushing.
- 43:26Speaker 3: Well, I'm glad I didn't pick him up and get
- 43:27Speaker 3: Montgomery instead. We knew.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Jesse Palmer, wide receiver. Is it Jordan Palmer? I think
- 43:34Speaker 2: is actually what it is. One receiving touchdown, one reception
- 43:39Speaker 2: for 43 yards. That tells you how bad that secondary is. Well,
- 43:43Speaker 2: I guess the Saints game should have shown you, but
- 43:46Speaker 2: you would figure that it was the first game because
- 43:49Speaker 2: we did a lot of first game surprises. That's why
- 43:52Speaker 2: we had Minnesota beating the Green Bay Packers. We did
- 43:55Speaker 2: not have Arizona beating the LA Chargers.
- 43:58Speaker 3: No. Nobody did. Nobody had that. Nobody did.
- 44:01Speaker 1: Nobody had that.
- 44:02Speaker 2: And there were some others. You know, there were some
- 44:04Speaker 2: others surprised, like Bill's Texans. Hard-fought game.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Could have been any way. I'm just talking about both defenses.
- 44:10Speaker 1: You know, the Bills needed to improve their defense.
- 44:12Speaker 3: It looked sloppy. Made C.J.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Stroud look really good.
- 44:15Speaker 4: But then you talk about the Texans, who I thought
- 44:17Speaker 4: was going to be the top three defense in the league,
- 44:19Speaker 4: and they gave up that many points to the.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Bills, which I know the Bills are good offensively. But
- 44:23Speaker 1: that goes into, we've got three games in the NFL. Bengals, Texans.
- 44:28Speaker 4: At bears and giants at rams and we'll talk about
- 44:31Speaker 4: those so don't talk about those three if you want
- 44:32Speaker 4: to go down the list no.
- 44:34Speaker 2: No i'm just doing this is the first game but
- 44:36Speaker 2: but this this is week one you know steelers with
- 44:39Speaker 2: a lackluster win over the falcons who are using cooper rush.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Well i think the steelers got a return interception in
- 44:45Speaker 1: that game.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Too they did yeah it was tj what yeah but
- 44:49Speaker 2: hey your leading receiver and ed rusher are the same guy.
- 44:54Speaker 3: What does that tell you?
- 44:55Speaker 2: That just tells you that Cooper Rush is getting scared
- 44:58Speaker 2: and dropping the pass down.
- 44:59Speaker 1: I didn't think it was a bad game for him.
- 45:01Speaker 1: I didn't think that was a problem.
- 45:02Speaker 3: For Cooper Rush or for B. John Robinson? It was
- 45:04Speaker 3: a great game for B. John.
- 45:06Speaker 1: And that's what it was going to be.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Here's the funny thing about the Bears' 59-37 win. Bryce
- 45:11Speaker 2: Young was the leading quarterback in that.
- 45:21Speaker 3: He was 23 and 37 for 361 yards.
- 45:24Speaker 4: They're only giving him that because of his yards. You know,
- 45:27Speaker 4: Caleb threw two, scored two. I'm pretty sure. No, I
- 45:31Speaker 4: know that you only get for pass and rush separate.
- 45:35Speaker 2: And then the guy that I left on the bench, Coker,
- 45:37Speaker 2: 138 yards.
- 45:39Speaker 1: He'll never have those points again.
- 45:40Speaker 3: You don't know that.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Well, play him as a starter this.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Week, big fella.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Who are they playing? Someone with a defense? Yeah.
- 45:48Speaker 4: Because I know the Bears, it's concerning to give up
- 45:50Speaker 4: 37 points. Now, granted, time of possession was probably nuts.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Carolina probably had more than that.
- 45:55Speaker 3: No, look at the beginning of the game. It was
- 45:57Speaker 3: first quarter, 14 to 7. Second quarter, 24, 34, 34, 34.
- 46:01Speaker 3: What are you talking about? I'm looking at them trying
- 46:06Speaker 3: to add.
- 46:07Speaker 1: 31 to 24?
- 46:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's it.
- 46:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 46:07Speaker 3: 31-24, right? So it's a close game.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Sure.
- 46:17Speaker 2: And then, you know, the Bears keep scoring continuously 14-14,
- 46:21Speaker 2: but yet they give up a touchdown.
- 46:24Speaker 3: And two field goals in the next two quarters.
- 46:29Speaker 2: So, is that concerning or is it they are still
- 46:33Speaker 2: doing that second half adjustment where they are.
- 46:36Speaker 3: Better, except... It's now just the defense, and it's not
- 46:39Speaker 3: the offense. The offense is coming out.
- 46:41Speaker 4: Well, it makes Bryce Young's contract extension towards the end
- 46:43Speaker 4: of the year look a little better.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Oh, absolutely.
- 46:46Speaker 1: But we've got to see what he does against the
- 46:48Speaker 1: other teams. Well, DeAndre swooped action.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Finally, we had a run game.
- 46:53Speaker 1: They are playing the Falcons, and the Falcons, to their credit,
- 46:57Speaker 1: even are Vikings bystanders. said that they have a good defense.
- 47:00Speaker 1: They do have a good secondary.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Yeah, Falcons.
- 47:03Speaker 2: Yeah, Falcons do have a good secondary. Because they got
- 47:07Speaker 2: Bowman Jr.
- 47:07Speaker 3: From Oklahoma.
- 47:08Speaker 1: A lot of young kids.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Remember that his rookie season, he had two, three interceptions.
- 47:13Speaker 3: I forget how many. Maybe five. They have a good.
- 47:17Speaker 1: And it was the other corner that was up for
- 47:20Speaker 1: rookie of the year. Bowman didn't even get a step. Yeah,
- 47:21Speaker 1: no shit.
- 47:22Speaker 3: That's what was fucked up.
- 47:23Speaker 1: No, he's just that much better. That's how good they were. Yeah.
- 47:27Speaker 3: And the fact that they fire their coach and then
- 47:29Speaker 3: bring in Stefanski.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Which I think was a good hire.
- 47:32Speaker 3: I like Stefanski.
- 47:33Speaker 2: For your offense, I wouldn't say for your defense, I'd
- 47:35Speaker 2: be like trying to figure out that the D coordinator.
- 47:37Speaker 3: Is like, hey, can we keep this together?
- 47:41Speaker 2: And now for the game of the century that nobody
- 47:45Speaker 2: cares about, the Las Vegas Raiders.
- 47:49Speaker 3: Beat the Miami Dolphins 27-13. Well, hey, when.
- 47:55Speaker 4: You have the Jets and the Raiders... 1-0. That's pretty impressive.
- 48:00Speaker 4: Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
- 48:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I just shut down.
- 48:04Speaker 1: We know the Dolphins are going to be bad. We
- 48:06Speaker 1: picked them.
- 48:07Speaker 2: We know the Dolphins are who they thought we were.
- 48:09Speaker 3: Wait, how does that go?
- 48:10Speaker 1: They are who we thought they were. RIP, Denny Green.
- 48:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I love you, Denny.
- 48:17Speaker 4: No, I thought another disappointing was Jalen. I mean, I
- 48:19Speaker 4: thought Philadelphia came out very mid. I know Sean's got
- 48:22Speaker 4: the Commanders going to the Super Bowl, so it was
- 48:23Speaker 4: a good start to them.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Played them close. A lot of people have the Eagles.
- 48:27Speaker 3: Is that any worse than your Falcons Super Bowl pick?
- 48:29Speaker 1: Well, we're both 0-1, and I didn't pick the Falcons.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Hey, at least my team lost by a two-point conversion
- 48:34Speaker 2: and not an interception.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Which is sad for the Eagles to come out that way.
- 48:39Speaker 3: Yeah, Saquon Barkley, what'd you do for me, Bubba? Saquon,
- 48:42Speaker 3: you got 83 yards, you dick.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Yeah, but made it interesting. Of course, my team loses
- 48:47Speaker 1: to the Bengals. Now, I watched most of that game.
- 48:49Speaker 1: I don't feel bad about that game.
- 48:51Speaker 3: I don't. The Bengals' defense was on fire.
- 48:53Speaker 1: But, no, hold on now.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Hold on now.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Baker at the one-yard fumbles.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Because the defense, he didn't hold on. No, he got
- 49:00Speaker 1: a tackle and dropped the ball.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Everything I've seen, it's the Bengals' defense.
- 49:03Speaker 1: It's not Baker's fault.
- 49:04Speaker 4: Well, no, they showed him that, though. It was Baker's fault.
- 49:06Speaker 4: And then they also give him, you know, Baker, I think,
- 49:09Speaker 4: threw a pick and then give up another fumble. So,
- 49:12Speaker 4: I thought the Bucs played pretty well.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Baker, you get that contract extension and you just.
- 49:16Speaker 1: But you're right. The Bengals' defense is much better. That
- 49:19Speaker 1: is a fact. Andrea.
- 49:20Speaker 3: For Sam Darnold. I did call it. He broke his dick.
- 49:23Speaker 1: I think he's going to be back week three or four.
- 49:25Speaker 3: Something like that. He tore his penis. They did say
- 49:28Speaker 3: that it was a soft tissue, and they're trying to
- 49:29Speaker 3: say it's his butt. He broke his penis. Allegedly. No,
- 49:33Speaker 3: it happened.
- 49:35Speaker 1: The opinions of Sports Allegedly are not so that they're
- 49:39Speaker 1: not always my opinions.
- 49:43Speaker 3: Yeah, anyways, Eagles do pull out a thriller at Veterans Stadium.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Is it still Veterans Stadium? I have no idea. I
- 49:52Speaker 3: don't know.
- 49:52Speaker 1: I don't. It's probably got a banking name of some type,
- 49:55Speaker 1: I'm sure.
- 49:55Speaker 3: Some financial institution. No, Wells Fargo's in Washington.
- 50:05Speaker 1: No, I said any. I didn't say Wells Fargo. I
- 50:07Speaker 1: said any.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Any.
- 50:08Speaker 2: But yeah, Washington Commanders do fall, but they fought hard.
- 50:13Speaker 2: And that defense is better. Jaden Daniels is playing better.
- 50:20Speaker 3: Jalen? It's one game. Jaden.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Lincoln Financial. See, I told you.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Another shocker.
- 50:28Speaker 3: The Saints fall to the Detroit Lions 31-30.
- 50:33Speaker 2: In overtime. Now remember, so they both scored. They both
- 50:39Speaker 2: had the chance to score. Was it at the Lions
- 50:44Speaker 2: that scored first?
- 50:45Speaker 1: Correct.
- 50:45Speaker 3: And the Saints gambled and went for the two points.
- 50:49Speaker 1: For the men? As they should have.
- 50:50Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 50:51Speaker 1: On the road.
- 50:52Speaker 2: We got into an argument with another nightclub bystander.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Ha ha ha.
- 51:03Speaker 3: As to why they went for that two. Well, they
- 51:06Speaker 3: went for that two to win the game.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Well, two is practically a loss, to be honest. I mean,
- 51:10Speaker 1: some will disagree with that. But I think the problem
- 51:13Speaker 1: with the Saints, what they've got to focus on is
- 51:15Speaker 1: their run game.
- 51:16Speaker 4: Only had 91 yards rushing. I know Kellen Moore likes
- 51:18Speaker 4: to throw the ball around. I mean, obviously, Dak had
- 51:21Speaker 4: some of his best seasons.
- 51:22Speaker 3: Tyler Slow had 410 yards. Three tutties. Yeah. But 35
- 51:25Speaker 3: at 56. I mean, that's 21 missed balls.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Yes.
- 51:34Speaker 3: So that's a lot. I don't even know. We'd have
- 51:37Speaker 3: to go in and look, and I really don't want to. Well,
- 51:40Speaker 3: don't remember. Don't forget there was overtime.
- 51:43Speaker 1: True.
- 51:44Speaker 3: The run plays. You have that pulled up? You have
- 51:48Speaker 3: the run plays?
- 51:49Speaker 1: The actual play? I don't know, but they ran.
- 51:51Speaker 3: No, the total number of run plays. Oh, 21. Yeah,
- 51:54Speaker 3: so you passed 56 times.
- 51:57Speaker 1: 21 for a person that's not the quarterback. Tyler Shuck
- 51:59Speaker 1: at four. Slow.
- 52:01Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 52:03Speaker 2: One of our favorite games of the week was Aaron
- 52:06Speaker 2: Glenn versus.
- 52:09Speaker 3: I don't know if you saw.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Any of this in the highlights. Aaron Glenn versus Robert Sala. Jets-Titans.
- 52:20Speaker 3: Both of these coaches celebrated....
- 52:25Speaker 2: Extra, it was like extra point misses or special teams,
- 52:29Speaker 2: special teams things.
- 52:31Speaker 1: They were really into it.
- 52:31Speaker 3: They were really into that.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Well, this was their one win that they're trying to get. That's,
- 52:36Speaker 1: you know, viable.
- 52:38Speaker 2: Um, but like Arch Manning Browns or Arch Manning Titans.
- 52:45Speaker 3: Uh, I think his grandpa would, is going to force
- 52:47Speaker 3: him to go to the time.
- 52:47Speaker 4: I think the dolphins are going to have the number
- 52:49Speaker 4: one pick and the dolphins have some really interesting. I mean, I,
- 52:53Speaker 4: I said to trade last year, uh, And they took Fernando.
- 52:58Speaker 4: Dolphins might be in that.
- 52:59Speaker 3: Fernando!
- 53:01Speaker 1: I mean, trade. I mean, look at the stuff you're
- 53:04Speaker 1: going to get. Because there's everybody going to pick a quarterback.
- 53:06Speaker 3: I understand.
- 53:07Speaker 1: And Dante Morris, you know, he could have been the
- 53:09Speaker 1: first pick last year. He stayed in school. Probably not smart.
- 53:12Speaker 3: He's getting paid.
- 53:12Speaker 1: He's getting paid well.
- 53:13Speaker 3: But that's what I said. Trinidad Chambers as well. He
- 53:15Speaker 3: should have went out.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Not yet. Give him a little credit. Because I don't
- 53:18Speaker 1: think he would have been the number one pick. And
- 53:20Speaker 1: I don't even think he would have went in the
- 53:21Speaker 1: top 20.
- 53:21Speaker 3: I'm saying Ole Miss.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I know. I don't think he would have went that high.
- 53:23Speaker 3: Ole Miss is going to get spanked.
- 53:24Speaker 1: I don't think he would have.
- 53:25Speaker 3: But he would have went. He would have went.
- 53:26Speaker 1: He'll go next year. He'll go in the first round
- 53:28Speaker 1: next year.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Yes, he will. That poor kid's going to get hurt.
- 53:31Speaker 1: No, no. All right, let's get to this week's games.
- 53:34Speaker 1: But Packers, Vikings, not to brag, but me and Sean
- 53:36Speaker 1: did pick that.
- 53:39Speaker 3: Five.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Cardinals somehow with 26. Should we watch out for the Cardinals? No.
- 53:44Speaker 1: But Brissette's not bad, and he got paid.
- 53:46Speaker 3: Here's another game that I called that you didn't.
- 53:49Speaker 1: That's right.
- 53:50Speaker 3: The Giants beat the Cowboys. At Live Stadium.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Did you watch any game?
- 53:55Speaker 3: I did. No, I watched it.
- 53:57Speaker 4: The bubble passes, like four in a row, that Dallas
- 54:02Speaker 4: just would not adjust to.
- 54:03Speaker 1: With Singletary, I'm like, what the fuck are you doing?
- 54:07Speaker 2: What did you say about that defense whenever it started?
- 54:11Speaker 1: They can't get any worse.
- 54:12Speaker 2: It looks like they did. And on a lighter note,
- 54:17Speaker 2: the Chiefs beat the Broncos.
- 54:19Speaker 3: 31-10.
- 54:19Speaker 4: Beat the shit out of them. And look at Kenneth
- 54:21Speaker 4: Walker smiling all the way to the bank.
- 54:24Speaker 3: Right.
- 54:24Speaker 2: And people are questioning that Denver defense now. Well, they're
- 54:28Speaker 2: also questioning that Denver offense. I know you love Bo Nix.
- 54:31Speaker 3: Uh-uh.
- 54:31Speaker 1: You know I said.
- 54:32Speaker 3: I know you love him.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Mid. Very mid. I know you love Bo Nix. Very mid.
- 54:36Speaker 3: I really thought. Your Super Bowl hope for Bo Nix
- 54:38Speaker 3: is quickly going down.
- 54:40Speaker 1: I thought Sean Payton made him look better.
- 54:42Speaker 3: Jesus Christ. It looks like the Bills are going to
- 54:44Speaker 3: score again.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Well, hopefully it's with DJ Moore. I need all the
- 54:49Speaker 1: help I can get.
- 54:50Speaker 3: I need something. But anyway, I just need Jared golf.
- 54:58Speaker 3: They glad you didn't do that trade.
- 55:00Speaker 2: So there was a, there was a proposed trade because
- 55:03Speaker 2: some idiot took the same receivers.
- 55:07Speaker 1: I'm still a negative 10.
- 55:08Speaker 3: Thank you. Two tips.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Some idiot in our fantasy league has taken two receivers
- 55:15Speaker 2: on the same team. So He didn't think about the
- 55:18Speaker 2: bye week. He's put one of them up. Well, right now,
- 55:23Speaker 2: I think our Tampa Bay bystander.
- 55:26Speaker 1: I'm not taking this.
- 55:27Speaker 2: Lucky for not taking that trade because I started Jared Goff.
- 55:33Speaker 1: Maybe he's doing good. No, no notifications, huh?
- 55:37Speaker 3: Oh, no, there's a text. It's just not a notification.
- 55:42Speaker 1: All right, we get to move to this week. A
- 55:45Speaker 1: few games. We're going to do our picks here in
- 55:46Speaker 1: a minute.
- 55:47Speaker 4: We got Bengals at Texans, Vikings at Bears, Giants at Rams.
- 55:52Speaker 3: Oh, God damn it.
- 55:54Speaker 1: But some of the other.
- 55:54Speaker 3: Sorry, that was some work shit. Some of the other.
- 55:57Speaker 3: That's a lot of money. Yay, Bears, Vikings, Bears.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Go, Bears.
- 56:01Speaker 3: Bears win hard.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Bears. We'll do those last.
- 56:05Speaker 3: Oh.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Look over some of the other games. Anything interesting.
- 56:08Speaker 3: Eagles-Titans?
- 56:09Speaker 1: No.
- 56:10Speaker 3: Steelers-Patriots?
- 56:10Speaker 1: No.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Raiders Chargers is definitely going to be. Are we going
- 56:16Speaker 3: to see the Chargers?
- 56:17Speaker 1: It's like a must win for the Chargers already.
- 56:19Speaker 3: It literally is.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Are we going to see the Chargers team that we.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Thought we were going to see game one? Like a
- 56:28Speaker 1: 37 to nothing.
- 56:30Speaker 3: What do we have them?
- 56:31Speaker 1: 12, 13 wins?
- 56:32Speaker 3: Somebody only had them 15-2, and somebody else had them 12-5.
- 56:36Speaker 1: Were you the 15-2, I hope?
- 56:37Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay. That was not a game.
- 56:42Speaker 1: But I had the Chiefs as the best one, did
- 56:44Speaker 1: I not? And you did not.
- 56:46Speaker 3: 13-4.
- 56:46Speaker 1: So how's my Denver pick? Was I pretty mid on them?
- 56:49Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, we were around the same for Denver.
- 56:53Speaker 1: 10-7, 12-5.
- 56:53Speaker 2: We were mid. But this Raiders pick's looking bad.
- 56:58Speaker 3: They're already... Hey, wait, no, I had them at 7-10.
- 57:02Speaker 3: So I did pick them.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Dude, they played the fucking who? Who was it?
- 57:06Speaker 3: The who?
- 57:07Speaker 1: Who'd they play? Some crappy team. Oh, wait, not in Cleveland.
- 57:12Speaker 3: I was trying to think. Miami. I can't even remember. Miami.
- 57:15Speaker 3: Like I said, I still got them 7-10. It's still working.
- 57:17Speaker 1: Well, that's because Miami, I think, I picked up. 1-16. Shit,
- 57:22Speaker 1: I probably had them beating the Raiders.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Packers are going to go Jets.
- 57:28Speaker 2: We're going to see if the Jets are for real.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Browns going into Tampa Bay. So Tampa Bay is guaranteed
- 57:33Speaker 2: to win. I will be starting at Kabuka. Baker Mayfield
- 57:38Speaker 2: will earn his contract for the season in this one game.
- 57:41Speaker 2: One of the funner games that we are going to
- 57:44Speaker 2: try that I hope I get to watch are the
- 57:47Speaker 2: Saints Ravens.
- 57:49Speaker 3: I want to see.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Same thing with the Bengals Texans. I want to see
- 57:54Speaker 2: the teams that are for real. Ravens slaughtered. Ravens just
- 57:57Speaker 2: look great on both sides.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Of the ball.
- 57:59Speaker 1: I think they're going to be really good.
- 58:00Speaker 3: Saints looked improved.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Now, from what we're seeing in tonight's game against the Bills,
- 58:12Speaker 2: maybe Detroit took a step back.
- 58:17Speaker 3: Maybe Detroit took three steps back.
- 58:19Speaker 1: Definitely not good.
- 58:20Speaker 2: But Bengals-Texans definitely is the Bengals' Defense improved. I mean,
- 58:26Speaker 2: that's a big question mark because they did go all
- 58:28Speaker 2: out to get defense.
- 58:31Speaker 3: Texans, C.J. Stroud, Kenny bounced back from his sophomore slump.
- 58:36Speaker 3: Season's again, three, four? Who?
- 58:38Speaker 1: This is his fifth.
- 58:39Speaker 3: Fifth season.
- 58:40Speaker 1: That'd be a six-year senior slump.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Six-year senior slump. One of my favorite games coming up,
- 58:47Speaker 3: Washington Commanders versus Dallas Cowboys.
- 58:48Speaker 1: That will be interesting.
- 58:50Speaker 3: I believe I do have the Cowboys to win at home.
- 58:54Speaker 1: I would pick that.
- 58:54Speaker 3: Because I split that. Dallas is only by three and
- 58:56Speaker 3: a half.
- 58:57Speaker 2: If you are a Dallas Cowboys fan, please text us
- 59:01Speaker 2: to give us tickets.
- 59:02Speaker 4: And Seahawks Cardinals. I think the spread is a little
- 59:06Speaker 4: low on that. I think Cardinals kind of come back.
- 59:08Speaker 2: No no i don't think it's low it's only low
- 59:10Speaker 2: because drew lock.
- 59:13Speaker 1: I just that defense of seattle just is really good
- 59:16Speaker 1: and i just don't see cardinals going to beat him
- 59:19Speaker 1: now i know his own.
- 59:20Speaker 2: My game that i've taken the niners versus the dolphins.
- 59:26Speaker 3: I'm going to need that for the bar as well.
- 59:28Speaker 3: No kidding. I'm taking it for Survivor and I'm taking
- 59:30Speaker 3: it for the bar.
- 59:31Speaker 1: I might do that as well for Survivor. That's a fact.
- 59:37Speaker 1: If everyone thought they'd have picked the Rams, maybe I
- 59:39Speaker 1: should save it. Is that the easy one?
- 59:40Speaker 4: Is everyone that's just going to go play Survivor in
- 59:43Speaker 4: your Survivor leagues, whoever plays the Dolphins, pick them.
- 59:46Speaker 1: It can't be the same team every week. So there
- 59:49Speaker 1: you go.
- 59:49Speaker 3: It can't, but also you do that with the Browns
- 59:51Speaker 3: as well. Ooh, I don't know.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Browns is going to sneak a couple stupid ones out.
- 59:56Speaker 3: But they do. And like I said.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Dolphins, I don't think will.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: But the Browns always sneak a stupid win against somebody
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: in their division.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: They could beat the Ravens tomorrow. But they had a
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: better defense. No, but if they play the Ravens tomorrow,
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: they beat the Ravens. We don't know how that goes.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: They do that.
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: Chiefs versus Colts. Chiefs will win that one, obviously. I
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: think Chiefs are really good.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: We'll pick that game last. All right, let's go back
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: to our picks. Bengals at Texans. Let's move up to
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: that one. Bengals disappointed on defense.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Houston's a two-and-a-half point favorite at home.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: They're at home, yes.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: They were at home last week, though, too. Disappointed against
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: the Bills, but we think the Bills are going to
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: be really good. I think this is the Bills' year.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: It's going to be one of the Bs in the AFC.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Baltimore Bills. Bengals looked good last week. Defense definitely improved
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: against Tampa, but they were gifted three turnovers. One of
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: them was their own.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: I get that.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: But they were gifted them and only won by seven.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: So let's not say that this is, you know, some
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: dramatic turnaround for whatever.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: I like the Texans as well. Spreads two and a half.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: I'd even bet the Texans.
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: What do you got, Sean?
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Same.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: I'm taking Texans.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: All right, here we go. All right. Our next game
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: of the picks. So we all agreed on everything. Vikings
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: at Bears.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: Bears, Bears, Bears, Bears.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: 21 now to nothing.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: Carson Wentz is going to make the Bears look like
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: they are the, they're going to break the league record.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Offensive points. Or just point scoring. I think that's how
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: it goes. The Bears are going to make– I know
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: that LaFleur is going to– Is it LaFleur?
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: We surprised a lot of people.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Brian Flores. Yeah, Brian Flores. I know Flores has got
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: a great defense.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: And they showed it last week.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Yes, and they did.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Now, they're not going to give up 59 points. No,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: they're not going to give up 59 points.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: But their offense might.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: I do. I do.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: I think it's– Here's your problem, Jeff.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: I think that the offense might not– It's a bold strategy, Cotton.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: I do like the Bears. I've got the Bears doing it.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: I think that the Bears' defense takes it from the Vikings.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I can see that. I mean, you're going to
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: have wins.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: So I'm taking the over.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I'm taking the over in the points. Taking the Bears
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: in the spread. Taking all that.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I think I would probably agree.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: Especially on the Carson Wentz is still Carson.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: God, but I think they're going to put up some
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Buffalo is up 21 and nothing.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: I think, I look, nobody called this game. Like I did.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: I said, the bill slaughterhouse side, Detroit, you're done.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: All right. Then we move on the money game.
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: Which team is, which is the giants better, which yes,
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: they are under Harbaugh. It looked like a Harbaugh coach team.
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: Greg Roman, really, the place.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Is Donald still out, right? And then, yes. Hold on,
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: let me go look at this. Let me go look
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: at the injury report on this. Isaiah Likely, remember that he.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Was one of Baltimore's favorite targets, and now he's over
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: in New York with Johnny, old Johnny Harbaugh. You know,
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Johnny Football Harbaugh. So we have zero sacks for either team.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: You just think that's not surprising?
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Well, Miles Garrett's on IR. He's not playing. Dahl's not
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: going to play.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: All right, so we've got Greg Newsome, the second. He's questionable.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: There's Ribs. Deontay Banks is a cash. That's about it
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: for them. But yes, Miles Garrett. Okay, so Miles Garrett
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: did go on IR.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Look at the estimated return time. Holy moly.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Halloween, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: And every Cleveland executive's over there going... Yes.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: Monday. I got eight, ten more draft picks, bitch.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: So, yeah, with Myles Garrett being out, and I don't
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: know if Donald's been playing.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: He's not going to play, I don't think.
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: Well, I'm taking New York.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: Oh, don't be stupid.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: I want New York. I want New York in this.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: That'll be the one we disagree on. Rams come back.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: They win a close one. I wouldn't bet any money
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: on it. I think it's low scoring as well.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: I just think it's because you're a hater of Jackson Dart.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: No. No.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: I wish you loved Jackson Dart a little more.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: All right. Anything else?
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Baseball? Yes.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Currently, well, we might not be in first place. We
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: might be tied.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: You had OU. Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: OU has softball.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Did get the number one softball recruit today. Let me
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: pronounce her name right.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: The Lions are barely driving.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Sophia Shadler, number one pitcher, recruiter.
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: Did win the recruiting battle over Texas Tech in Texas.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: That was the other choice. And she's the number over three.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: I'm sorry, number three overall player in the 2028 class.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: You heard it here first, ladies and gentlemen. She's the
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: number over three.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: She's an Iowa product.
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: Is that division?
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Congratulations to OU. We obviously need the pitching. So, Chicago
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: White Sox currently up on Detroit right now.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: Three to one, bottom of the second. But remember, we
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: blew it in Cleveland.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but Detroit's not Cleveland.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: We had it. I know. This won't happen. All right,
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: I'll go to your standings. So, Tampa Bay and New
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: York have already clenched.
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: So, we will probably be tied after tonight.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: We have ten days left in the season.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: Nine games for the Indians. You guys will have eight.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: No, we still have nine. Yeah, we still have nine.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Everybody's got nine.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: You should have nine because it looks like everything ends
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: on the 27th. They do not want you going past that.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: Or if you have makeup games, I'm thinking that they're
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: going to use that.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: You have not made up. So Tampa Bay has pretty
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: much already won their five games up. Still a chance.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: On the AL East, themselves, the Tampa Bay Rays, and
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: the New York Yankees have already clinched. Kansas City Royals
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: were eliminated. Sacramento Athletics, Los Angeles Angles, they're out. Right now,
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: we have a battle in, I think it's just a battle.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: It's just a battle in over here, isn't it?
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Literally just a, oh, no, there's one. It's a battle
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: in the AL. So Cleveland has taken a half-game lead
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: over the White Sox. The White Sox are playing tonight
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: and are currently up two runs. White Sox did drop two.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: One very, very dramatically. Two runs in the ninth to Cleveland.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: And then three, it was a six to three game,
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: wasn't it?
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: Last game.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: We had a three-game stand for our last series. Roberto
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: Clemente Day. Fuck you, Roberto Clemente.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: I love you, but, you know.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: We have to play Houston Astros and Texas Rangers are
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: both currently tied.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Now, the Diamondbacks are chasing that spot.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: They are. No, the Diamondbacks are chasing this spot.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: In the hunt, obviously, it's the Rangers, Blue Jays, Baltimore.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: You throw Houston in there because each one of them
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: has not won the division yet.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: Correct.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: So it'd be one of the other two.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: But the other one is still in the wild card.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: But it's going to be a tight race because everybody
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: in the wild card is right there within a couple games.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: Jump down to the AL.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: Milwaukee has already won and clinched the NL Central over
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: the Chicago Cubs.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: Fuck you, Cubs. I'll never not say that.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: But the Cubs are leading the wild card.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: The highest payroll Mets are out. Washington Nationals have been eliminated.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: The Braves are holding a four-and-a-half game lead over the
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Philadelphia Phillies. Miami Marlins still not eliminated. They're 13 games out.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Just go ahead and eliminate them. Cincinnati Reds have been eliminated.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Chicago Cubs. Pittsburgh Pirates. All them other ones are following.
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: Not going to make it.
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: Here's where it is.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: I really think it's just Arizona's it. Arizona's it.
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: Did you pull it up?
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Arizona's the only one.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: Giants, Rockies already eliminated. Dodgers already won the NL West.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: They're really the only one that's trying to get that
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: last spot. From the Padres. That's the competition right there.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: The Padres in Arizona.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: So, White Sox have currently, since they moved to number
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: two in the AL, we have a one-game lead over
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: the Rangers and the Jays.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: But so does Cleveland.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: But we're five games back from Boston.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: Yeah, one and a half. Fuck you, Boston.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: And currently, Padres have a four-game lead over.
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right. Four-game lead over the Diamondbacks.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: But the Padres have been 9-1 in the last 10 Diamondbacks.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: I mean, at one point, the Diamondbacks did have that spot.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Are you playing the Diamondbacks at the end of the season, Chicago?
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: Pull up that picture.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Or is it Colorado?
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: I can't. Everything's screwy on my end. I got it
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: right here. Everything went screwy fighting.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Digga digga.
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: No, can't say that. That's a bad word.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Yeah, Rockies. You know how it's the Rockies. Rockies are horrible.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: So you're good. Okay, good, because it didn't flip at all.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Oh, that's not what I was supposed to say.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: I went to look at it and it didn't pull
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: up at all.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Alright, anything else?
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: It's over here. It's stuck. This was supposed to be
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: a short one and it's out of town. It's not
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: supposed to be a short one.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: This was supposed to be a long one. We haven't
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: even talked about Billy. Did we talk? Yeah, nobody cares.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: It's just a fucking joke.
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: McVeigh slapped a lady and Manning thought it was real.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: It was not Manning.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: It's Sarkeesian.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: Slapped a lady. Oh, yeah. I'm sorry. It's right on.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Detroit did score.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: Sorry, it's right on top of that. And as we know,
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: everybody loves our coverage of.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: Zion Williams.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: So just some Pelicans news that they paid Bay three years,
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: $ 55 million. So that does take away from Zion's baby
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: and cheeseburger money. And don't believe the, just do not
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: believe Sam Levitt. I just opened Microsoft Teams.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: Hold on. I can't quit yet.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: See, that's when you go too long.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: I rolled over.
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: The show's already kind of ended.
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: No, this is one of our best shows.
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: Nobody cares about Sam, that stupid Sarkeesian ass and Arch Manning, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: They talk about this shit just for fodder. That's what
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: national people do. And people, that's why they don't listen
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: to national TV anymore. They listen to our type stuff
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: all the time because we talk about shit that matters,
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: not about famous people that want to get their name
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: thrown out there again.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Nobody cares.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: Kenny, you want to get your name thrown out there.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: No, I'm just talking about, why would you talk about
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: Arch Manning? We already talked. They had a good game.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: The comeback was good. Why are we talking about some
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: stupid thing he said and laughed? I don't care. Everybody's
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: on social media. You can't believe anything on social media.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: So why is it?
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: Does that mean that you're on social media?
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: No, you just can't. You can't believe everything you read.
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: What's your Facebook? I don't have a Facebook. Yeah.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: All right, everybody. We'll be back next week. More stupidity.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: Of course. More horrible football takes. And, you know, maybe
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: our fantasy football.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: But we were right about the Vikings week one.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: That's all we got.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: So we'll see if we get anything this week right.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Bye.
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: I can't shut down Kenny.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: That was true. I got a PS2, that's why it's true.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: Thanks for watching!
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: So you
