  [SPEAKER_00]: Right now, though, I wanted to talk about like,

  [SPEAKER_00]: What are the actual, biggest issues plaguing this team, the Jaguars?

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're five and four, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: So it hasn't been horrible, although the last three weeks they've gone, well, not three weeks, because they had the by week, but the last four games that they've played,

  [SPEAKER_00]: They've lost three of them, and they very easily could have lost to the Raiders, maybe should have lost to the Raiders really.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So you look at what they've done.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The bottom line is the bottom line, the last three weeks, four games, they're one and three, not good enough.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're five and four overall, they're still in a position to control their own destiny,

  [SPEAKER_00]: They can take down the chargers this weekend, they'll own the tiebreaker against the chiefs.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Play the Titans twice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They control their own destiny still, even though they're way behind the cults.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Let's just say, offensive line penalties, pre-snap, and execution wise.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's been incredibly clutched throughout his career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Tuma-Doga oversets like crazy then has to try to work back inside hands of the face.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I've seen some people saying, man, if they just had one playmaker to get something, they did.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then on the final play of the game, the Texans are playing the boundary.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's no way for you to go with the football to get down.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's no way for you to go with the football to get out of bounds.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The pre-snap offensive penalties, specifically on the offensive line, and the penalties in general on the offensive line, holding hands to the face, legal man downfield.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Most of them have been, you know, holding and fall start, but it's been brutal.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's been absolutely brutal.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars, I believe lead the NFL in holding penalties on offense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have several offensive linemen at the top of the league in penalties in general, and holding calls.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Adoga's up there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So just the lack of execution both pre and post snap from the entire offense aligned and that's not blaming everyone and it's on hair since been pretty damn good, but you know he's out at the end of last game and said to him a dog is in there and he fumbles the bag, you know as your Cleveland's been pretty good Robert Haines, he's been pretty good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: All three of those guys, Anton Harrison, Robert Hansie, as your Cleveland, have dealt with injuries.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you can say, well, every team's going to get holding, yes, but it's the holding calls or the illegal hands to the face this past week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, number two, could go a lot of different places with this one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to think about how I want to order this, like what is actually the second leading reason beyond that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna have to flip to the defensive side of the ball because the defense has been horrible.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely horrible dating back to whatever week five against the chiefs.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They figured it out against the seahawks and and gave themselves a chance But they had given up 20 points in the first You know basically half plus The first drive of the second half you had given up 20 points.

  [SPEAKER_00]: safety play combined you know that's the you know safety play as part of coverage but your safety play has not been good enough even when Eric Murray and Andrew Winger are out there together has not been good enough and I think Eric Murray's been pretty good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Dewey is out of his depth as a starter very unfortunate kind of maybe fool's gold at the beginning of the year

  [SPEAKER_00]: everybody's like do he is the most improved player he's amazing love about he was playing great for but he's not of a player that should be playing from depth he's a player that needs to be closer to the line of scrimmage they don't have a player that can play from depth right now you know Antonio Johnson's out there he is lost a lot he's got physical skill there's no

  [SPEAKER_00]: Can't really play from depth consistently.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's tough spot for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then coverage in general, I think

  [SPEAKER_00]: start a pair of starting corners in a zone scheme.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But the jags are running 20% man coverage which is very low.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But 20% man coverage basically cover one cover zero.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And on those

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then, my biggest issue, because, you know, that just, it's going to happen sometimes.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's not like what is the overall biggest problem with the coverage.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think the safety players, the biggest problem with the coverage combined with playing off coverage.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The jag wars were lined up so far off the line of scrimmage.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Against the ramps, against the Raiders, against...

  [SPEAKER_00]: the Texans, that you're giving Davis Mills free yards.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We saw this in the preseason and it was a big problem.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When you come and talk about it, it's back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're just lining up too far off.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If you're lining up, eight yards away from the line of scrimmage in the quarterback trying to throw at three yards off the line of scrimmage, that's easy access.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Right, so they've got to get some stuff figured out inside that building from a coverage standpoint.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Three, I would say, you know, walker little, just straight up walker little.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has regressed so, so much this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He played well down the stretch last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He played well every single time he played left tackle for the most part, substituting for Cam Robinson or again last year down the stretch.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Arguably, the worst starting left tackle in football, he has given up the most pressures in the NFL this year at 36 by a fairly wide margin.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's actually, you know, Austin Deculus is not too far behind, deculus the Charger's left tackle right now because of.

  [SPEAKER_00]: injury to Rochon Slater and Joe Alt.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't played as many games, but he's actually performing worse than Walker Little, but still that's not the point.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Austin Deculus is a back-up Walker Little is a 15-million dollar starter.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's just been a treacherous.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's had a couple decent games, but the Neil Hunter will Anderson, these guys have absolutely killed him,

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has performed as a borderline unrasteable player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not saying that's what he is, but that's how he has performed this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, I don't know how you're supposed to execute an offense down the stretch when you cannot win a one on one matchup.

  [SPEAKER_00]: you know, Liam Cohen, great, you didn't ski.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you need to be chipping every single play with a tight end or a running back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was a limit you a little bit, yeah, but it also limits you to have Daniel Hunter in the backfield every play.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The offensive line, penalties in general, pre-snap, and post-snap, lack of execution, the coverage problems.

  [SPEAKER_00]: These are the three big things for sure, in my opinion.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Then you also have injuries, which have certainly been a major problem.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter out for the year, BTJ, in and out of the line up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Army Browns been injured, Brenton Strange has been injured,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, Devin Lloyd missing a good good chunk of time.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travelling Walker missing time, and then, you know, still battling through the wrist injury.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, Eric Murray, Travis Hunter at corner, Travis Hunter is hever.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it's been a tough situation for sure with the injuries and that's just out of your control a little bit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Don't really know what else you can do there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, you've got your pre-snap penalties, lack of execution, offensive line wise, you've got Walker little.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You've got the coverage issues, you've got injuries, I had a fifth one, what was the fifth one?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it is five for me, but it's still pretty bad.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Just lack of execution from receivers and being able to catch the football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You still lead the league in drops.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's just a trotters.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But the team still leads the league in drops.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's been games where they completely cripple the offense with with drops.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's unacceptable.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if it was

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter, Parker Washington, Britain Strange, as your top four receiving targets, I don't think you would have drop issues.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's mainly been the backup tight ends.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Brian Thomas Jr. obviously, the Army Brown, you have one Parker Washington game where drops were a problem against the Rams, but other than that, and really, at least one of those drops probably should have been called passenger clearance for Parker to his credit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: lack of execution when they're receivers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, I think you can point to a lot of other areas that haven't been as good as you would hope, but they haven't been problematic.
