  giant, a giant leap forward through the Bible and through

  History from the time of Esther, where the Persians ruled the

  world forward hundreds of years. Now, to the time, when the

  Romans ruled the world, and we have landed in the New Testament

  in the book of 2nd Timothy, where we read from Paul, our old
• 0:49
  friend, Paul who writes to his young friend, Timothy who he has
• 0:54
  met. In fact, Timothy joined Paul on
• 0:56
  many of his adventures during the second missionary.

  Campaign they went to thessalonica Phillipi Corinth.

  They dodged some accusations and survived those Journeys together
• 1:09
  and then he was with Paul when he wrote many of the letters of

  the New Testament, this was someone who was really close to

  Paul and their missionary lives really overlapped and here, we

  find Paul reflecting on his life.

  Assuming that he is not far from death.

  And he writes this letter to his young friend too.

  Encourage him and in many ways it's like a last will and

  testament of an old man writing to farewell his family and

  friends. So this is not about make sure

  young friend, a particularly as times go on and they they will

  service in God's church. So this book will take us

  Father we read these words with amazement as Paul writes about

  you and your plan that from the very beginning of time, you had

  planned through Jesus to show us your grace and your love for us.

  It kind of blows our mind that you the father and God and

  creator of the universe would have this plan and your plan was
• 6:13
  not to thunder across the sky and have everyone fall on their
• 6:17
  faces and worship to you, but that's your plan was to give us
• 6:22
  your son. So that through him we would
• 6:25
  know how much you love us. Help us to always place your
• 6:32
  love as our highest priority. That we would celebrate it.
• 6:37
  That we would share it and that we would value.
• 6:39
  Love above, all other things, you are truly spectacular.
• 6:45
  And we just praise you and we pray all of this, in the name of
• 6:49
  your dear son who reveals you to us.
