- 1:13Speaker 2: All right. I already know I'm gonna sound like an idiot.
- 1:15Speaker 1: But here it goes.
- 1:17Speaker 2: So, Okay, I started seeing this girl. We've only gone
- 1:21Speaker 2: on a few dates, but she's super cool and she's
- 1:24Speaker 2: really into art. She likes to go to like museums
- 1:28Speaker 2: and galleries and talk about art stuff like meaning and
- 1:33Speaker 2: texture and oh's for some reason. Yeah, no, it's cute.
- 1:37Speaker 2: It's like it's awesome. She's passionate about it. But I
- 1:40Speaker 2: wanted to like relate to her, and I thought it
- 1:43Speaker 2: would be like a good idea to say, oh, yeah, well, like, yeah,
- 1:47Speaker 2: I do art too, which I don't do art.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Oh Wayne, Okay, So there's a difference between telling her,
- 1:56Speaker 3: oh I like art.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Too, and or I do art very different you said
- 2:01Speaker 1: I'm an artist. Basically, I kind of.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Wanted to like up the anty a little bit. And
- 2:08Speaker 2: that's like, could not be a bigger lie. I've like
- 2:10Speaker 2: I've never done a painting or I have no artistic
- 2:15Speaker 2: gills whatsoever. Great, but like I saw the look in
- 2:19Speaker 2: her eyes. She was like so excited, and she shows
- 2:24Speaker 2: me like some of the stuff that she's into and
- 2:27Speaker 2: it's like really cool, and like she just is legit,
- 2:31Speaker 2: like she she knows her stuff. And I'm just thinking
- 2:35Speaker 2: to myself like.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Oh, she shows you the art that she's done.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Right, Like it's really good. Great, Okay, So you don't textures,
- 2:45Speaker 2: you don't know color color.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I mean, at some point you're gonna have to be like, well,
- 2:52Speaker 3: this is she wants to see your art.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I'm assuming YouTube quick. Yes.
- 2:56Speaker 2: So we're like supposed to hang out this weekend and
- 3:00Speaker 2: and she was like, I want to see some of
- 3:01Speaker 2: your work. And so I like, I went to Michael's
- 3:07Speaker 2: and I bought a bunch of art supplies and I
- 3:09Speaker 2: was like, I told her, I'm like an abstract artist.
- 3:12Speaker 2: So I'm like, oh, you know like that stuff.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah it is.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I'm telling you guys. Like I got home and like
- 3:20Speaker 2: I had this canvas and like, you know, paint, and
- 3:24Speaker 2: I was trying to like just do some abstract stuff
- 3:28Speaker 2: and it looked so bad, like beyond bad, like something
- 3:34Speaker 2: you bring home like from school and to be embarrassed
- 3:37Speaker 2: to show your parents bad.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that bad. So I mean you never said you
- 3:43Speaker 1: were a good artist.
- 3:44Speaker 2: I definitely expressed that I've been doing it for a
- 3:46Speaker 2: long time. So I feel like it would be a
- 3:49Speaker 2: deal breaker if she was like, oh, so I had
- 3:53Speaker 2: another plan. I went to home Goods and I bought
- 3:56Speaker 2: a painting and like, you know, I took a marker
- 3:59Speaker 2: and like, sign my name on it.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Oh my god, she does art, She's gonna be able
- 4:07Speaker 1: to tell.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my'll be like I like your breaststrokes.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, She'll totally be able to tell.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I think so, But I mean I don't know. Hopefully
- 4:19Speaker 3: she doesn't take it off the wall and see the
- 4:21Speaker 3: price tag in so, what she's gonna also say where
- 4:26Speaker 3: like is if you're an artist to be doing it
- 4:27Speaker 3: for a while, Like I, I do art.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I have a ton of pieces at home.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I have a ton of art at home that I
- 4:33Speaker 3: is sitting in a room, like I have an art room.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Right, So I thought of that, and I'm I'm I plan.
- 4:38Speaker 2: If she does say that, I'm just gonna say, like, well,
- 4:40Speaker 2: I actually, like I've sold most of my pieces and
- 4:43Speaker 2: I've given other pieces away to friends, so I feel
- 4:46Speaker 2: like I've covered my track for that.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Well this is gonna go well.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I mean. The other thing is, though I'm worried that
- 4:53Speaker 2: she like will like I want to see my process
- 4:57Speaker 2: or something, and asked me to actually like paint, like
- 5:00Speaker 2: with her right in front of her, with her, she's
- 5:03Speaker 2: gonna all.
- 5:04Speaker 1: The brushes are and all of the pens and like paint.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Do you even know what you put paint? Answer? What
- 5:11Speaker 3: do you call the thing that you put paint on?
- 5:14Speaker 2: It's the it's with a pee, it's something with a
- 5:17Speaker 2: p right.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Yes, okay, he said, it's with a p What what
- 5:25Speaker 3: is the canvas? What does the canvas stand on? What
- 5:28Speaker 3: does it usually sit on the stand?
- 5:31Speaker 1: The easel?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Ease?
- 5:34Speaker 1: Okay, you got this? You gotta buy one.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Do I just come clean and tell her that I
- 5:39Speaker 2: was like a moron, or just try to ride this
- 5:43Speaker 2: out and you're the woman, and tell her how passionate
- 5:48Speaker 2: you were about making her believe that because of just
- 5:51Speaker 2: how passionate you.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Are about her, I would you know, she can teach.
- 5:55Speaker 3: You, That's what I would say. I'd say, listen, I'm
- 5:57Speaker 3: gonna I can't lie before she comes off. I'd be like,
- 6:00Speaker 3: I got carried away and I was going to try
- 6:02Speaker 3: to make a painting for you, and then I realized
- 6:04Speaker 3: how bad it was. Yeah, so I don't do art.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Maybe you can teach me and laugh about it. She'll
- 6:09Speaker 3: think it's cute whatever. And you've learned to respect art
- 6:12Speaker 3: so much more through this process. But if you stick
- 6:14Speaker 3: with this lie, like Pooh says, he would stick with it, yeah,
- 6:17Speaker 3: and just remember do do happy clouds and happy trees,
- 6:21Speaker 3: you'd be good.
- 6:22Speaker 1: You'd be happily single.
- 6:25Speaker 3: For sure.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Come clean and let us know what happens.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Okay, okay, okay, Vincent van no
