SPEAKER_00: This week on the program, one half of your current undefeated Raiding Pest Pinball Podcast Twipie winner, the electric packcast, it's Kale Hernandez.
0:11
SPEAKER_00: And everyone's favorite official non-sponsored Dietco fanatic, it's Jamie Burchill.
0:17
SPEAKER_00: And the man whose hands are sweatier, and a teenager at his first middle school dance, it's RetroRalf.
0:23
SPEAKER_00: On the Jamie Dance Burkle Table.
0:33
SPEAKER_03: And Retro Ralph, we are very excited to be here today.
0:36
SPEAKER_03: And I want to give a quick shout out to Glenn Wector, our announcer.
0:40
SPEAKER_03: How good is he, guys?
0:43
SPEAKER_03: I mean, he's very pretty good, man.
0:46
SPEAKER_02: My hands are really sweaty.
0:48
SPEAKER_02: They're sweating right now because I'm so nervous for the podcast.
0:51
SPEAKER_03: And shout out to his entire team, Kale, for uh Montra League Hockey.
0:56
SPEAKER_03: I guess they sold the rights to Ramps.
0:58
SPEAKER_03: Is that what happened?
1:00
SPEAKER_03: Ramps is building 100.
1:01
SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
1:03
SPEAKER_04: That's official.
1:05
SPEAKER_04: Oh, cool.
1:06
SPEAKER_04: Well, congrats.
1:07
SPEAKER_04: That's awesome.
1:08
SPEAKER_04: You think they're getting paid?
1:09
SPEAKER_04: Very cool.
1:11
SPEAKER_03: I would say that.
1:14
SPEAKER_03: Oh, his wife is making shrimp.
1:16
SPEAKER_03: That looks good.
1:17
SPEAKER_02: Well, don't you think they wouldn't do it for free, right?
1:23
SPEAKER_02: Ooh.
1:24
SPEAKER_02: Oh man.
1:25
SPEAKER_02: Oh, that looks really good.
1:27
SPEAKER_03: Rachel just wrote some shrimp on the podcast for the first time.
1:31
SPEAKER_01: Did you taste it?
1:34
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:34
SPEAKER_01: She's amazing.
1:36
SPEAKER_01: That looks amazing.
1:39
SPEAKER_01: That's great.
1:40
SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, Rams uh is doing a hundred of the Montre League hockeys and uh so it is that I haven't been paying attention to the news.
1:50
SPEAKER_01: Is that announcement?
1:51
SPEAKER_01: Is that really happening?
1:53
SPEAKER_01: And and do and and uh what if somebody wants one of these?
1:58
SPEAKER_01: Are they spoken for?
2:00
SPEAKER_01: Can you get on a list?
2:01
SPEAKER_03: How does that work?
2:02
SPEAKER_03: Uh Ramps Pinball.
2:05
SPEAKER_03: Wow.
2:05
SPEAKER_03: So good.
2:08
SPEAKER_02: Yep.
2:08
SPEAKER_02: I would hope so.
2:09
SPEAKER_02: I mean, who's doing it for free?
2:10
SPEAKER_02: Why would we not make it paid?
2:13
SPEAKER_02: I mean they they no, but I oh okay.
2:17
SPEAKER_02: You weren't trying to say like they're doing it meant free.
2:19
SPEAKER_02: You're just saying that we hope they make money.
2:21
SPEAKER_02: I meant sometimes I don't need to translate.
2:25
SPEAKER_03: That's what I meant to say.
2:27
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I hope they make money.
2:29
SPEAKER_03: Got it.
2:30
SPEAKER_01: All right, I just hope they I hope they're having a I hope they're having a great time.
2:37
SPEAKER_01: So does this mean road trip is delayed?
2:39
SPEAKER_03: No idea about road trip.
2:41
SPEAKER_03: Uh no one cares about that?
2:42
SPEAKER_03: They're doing a hundred uh Monster League hockeys.
2:45
SPEAKER_02: So I'm thinking they're probably better off with Monster League hockey than Road Trip.
2:53
SPEAKER_01: Well what if this becomes what if this becomes Ramps deal?
2:57
SPEAKER_02: Like uh just make games for other people.
3:00
SPEAKER_01: Make homebrews.
3:01
SPEAKER_01: I mean, of course they couldn't be tied to a a known IP.
3:05
SPEAKER_01: Hey.
3:06
SPEAKER_01: But I don't know.
3:07
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
3:08
SPEAKER_01: It's probably an opening.
3:10
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, who knows?
3:11
SPEAKER_03: Uh let's talk about the the back and the uh retro arcade and eureka heights all have these two pinball machines recently.
3:21
SPEAKER_03: Just got a Beetlejuice and Pokemon's.
3:24
SPEAKER_03: Yeah and uh let's talk about how Beetlejuice is doing.
3:28
SPEAKER_03: How's it doing at the bat?
3:29
SPEAKER_01: Well, let's first how is it doing?
3:31
SPEAKER_01: There are only two locations in Arizona that have Beetlejuice, and it's Ralph's Garage and Electric Bat Arcade.
3:40
SPEAKER_01: So let's talk about how it's doing in Ralph's garage.
3:42
SPEAKER_01: How much has it earned?
3:44
SPEAKER_02: What uh you know, Kaylee's not it hasn't earned a whole lot.
3:49
SPEAKER_02: It's costing money, but uh it I think I have I'm at like 135 plays on it, so I got a decent amount of plays on it so far.
3:58
SPEAKER_02: It's holding up.
3:58
SPEAKER_02: It's holding up.
3:59
SPEAKER_02: I had one problem and Bugs sending a fix for me.
4:01
SPEAKER_02: The uh the Dante's Inferno ramp, uh-huh, the plastic, the ball keeps getting like hung up under the plastic.
4:08
SPEAKER_02: Every now and then, it's like every now and then if there's not enough speed it coming around that corner, it'll get stuck.
4:12
SPEAKER_02: And I've I've like moved it around and and he's he's just sending me a new one.
4:17
SPEAKER_02: So he's sending me a new plastic for it.
4:19
SPEAKER_01: That ramp is on the left, is that correct?
4:21
SPEAKER_02: The left, yeah.
4:22
SPEAKER_02: Yep.
4:22
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
4:24
SPEAKER_02: Um but that one at Eureka doesn't do that, right?
4:27
SPEAKER_02: And yours doesn't at the bat, right?
4:28
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
4:29
SPEAKER_02: So I just man, you know what?
4:30
SPEAKER_01: I haven't I haven't really paid attention or played the game that much.
4:34
SPEAKER_01: Uh um there are a couple of ball traps um that we're kind of working out, but that particular one you're talking about, I have not noticed.
4:43
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you would probably know because people would be coming to you saying the ball's stuck or whatever.
4:47
SPEAKER_02: I mean, because you can shake it out usually, but you'll tilt.
4:49
SPEAKER_02: So right, right.
4:52
SPEAKER_02: But he's he's fixing it for me, so all good.
4:54
SPEAKER_02: Other than that, it's been it's been good.
4:55
SPEAKER_02: And I and I, you know, it was a little bit of a learning curve getting into that game.
4:58
SPEAKER_02: And I think Jamie, you saw that the from the first time you played it.
5:01
SPEAKER_02: There's a little bit of a learning curve.
5:02
SPEAKER_02: But once you get it down, it's pretty fun.
5:05
SPEAKER_01: So the one at the one at the bat, uh Beetlejuice, people are loving it.
5:12
SPEAKER_01: And but you know, it's it's the only one on location in Arizona, so of course there are a lot of people showing up to play this game.
5:20
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
5:20
SPEAKER_01: Um, and it is getting a lot of plays.
5:24
SPEAKER_01: Um I think it's at like about like 1,500 right now.
5:28
SPEAKER_01: I just checked it before.
5:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
5:31
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I checked it before I I got here.
5:34
SPEAKER_01: Um great, 1500 plays, no worries, no nothing.
5:38
SPEAKER_01: We've had we've had these yet?
5:42
SPEAKER_01: I have yet to take the glass off of it.
5:45
SPEAKER_01: Nice.
5:46
SPEAKER_01: Other than uh the deal with the stuck ball.
5:49
SPEAKER_01: Wow.
5:49
SPEAKER_01: But uh yeah, no issues.
5:51
SPEAKER_01: That's good, man.
5:52
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's amazing.
5:55
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Eureka's great.
5:56
SPEAKER_03: You know, they had Eureka one screen it a little bit from the show.
5:59
SPEAKER_03: It only got 450 plays at the show, so not bad, right?
6:02
SPEAKER_03: They got a show game.
6:04
SPEAKER_03: And uh tinkered it a little bit, the the the Dante's Infermo ramp, you couldn't backhand.
6:10
SPEAKER_03: Uh which we saw at the show a little bit, Ralph.
6:14
SPEAKER_03: So they've tinkered with that and tinkered with the left orbit shot, and it's perfect.
6:22
SPEAKER_01: The the only um the only negative feedback I'm getting is you you can't use that um the spooky speak.
6:28
SPEAKER_01: Is that what it's called?
6:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, spooky speak.
6:31
SPEAKER_01: Um too loud in there, huh?
6:34
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but like I don't know if the if it's the room size or just interference from other games, but even when I'm there in the morning when no like when nobody's there playing anything, and I'll I I even like I tested it by turning the stereo off.
6:50
SPEAKER_01: So it's like nothing making any noise.
6:52
SPEAKER_01: Uh, it still doesn't really work.
6:55
SPEAKER_01: Um and I told Bug, I I don't care.
6:58
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's fine, it's it's kind of like an experimental thing.
7:01
SPEAKER_01: Um and I'm he hasn't gotten back to me, to me, but uh, you know, I mentioned, you know, maybe trying a shotgun mic because some people have gotten it to work, but they kind of have to, they're they're sitting at the game, but they have to walk around to the side of the game and yell into that little microphone.
7:18
SPEAKER_01: And and that microphone, that just looks like something you would have at like an office conference room or something.
7:24
SPEAKER_02: It is that's what it is.
7:25
SPEAKER_02: It's actually a conference table mic.
7:27
SPEAKER_01: Correct, and it's not directional.
7:29
SPEAKER_01: Like a shotgun mic would be directional.
7:32
SPEAKER_01: And uh, from a design standpoint, if you know where the person is, which is the player, and you you you know the general area besides somebody's height, uh, a shotgun mic, unless there's something I'm missing here, uh Ralph, you might have some input on that.
7:48
SPEAKER_01: You're kind of an audio video guy.
7:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the the shotgun mic kind of makes sense to me instead of like a uh a general purpose like conference room microphone.
7:59
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean the thing says, like I went and looked at the stats on the mic a while, like when it came out, because I was thinking to myself, hey, could someone just go buy this mic and plug it in, which they can do?
8:09
SPEAKER_01: Um is it just USB?
8:11
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's a USB mic, it's like a$40 mic if you were to buy it, it's like 30-something bucks.
8:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, they claim on the literature of the mic that it's a 20-foot range, but I mean it works okay in my garage, but um, but you know, it was pretty rocky when the first code release came out.
8:28
SPEAKER_02: The the latest code release that I feel like they've kind of buttoned it up, it's working a lot better, but um Yeah, I haven't had any problems, but I'm just wondering if there's too much like ambient noise and it's just maybe more for a house setting or yeah, I mean I don't know.
8:40
SPEAKER_01: I think that's the issue, but yeah, either way, I mean that's the only complaint because people are like, why is that not working?
8:46
SPEAKER_01: Because you know, on parts of the game where it asks, hey, say Beetlejuice, uh you know, Bug did tell me to go ahead and turn that off because it's not gonna work in an arcade.
8:56
SPEAKER_01: Uh, but the fact that it sometimes has worked for some people and sometimes not, I kind of left it on just so people could have fun with it.
9:04
SPEAKER_01: Because you you can also just hit the action button uh or the the lock bar button.
9:09
SPEAKER_03: I don't think it's good because Eureka, whatever guys, same sound issues.
9:15
SPEAKER_03: Uh so they turn theirs off.
9:18
SPEAKER_01: The only other uh complaint has has been like a rules thing where Ralph, do you know, or maybe even Jamie, you know, there's a there's a mode where you I think you hit the match, the matching game.
9:39
SPEAKER_01: Well, not that one, but just the one where you like before you start doing anything, you have to hit the lock bar button to do something with the sandworm.
9:49
SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
9:50
SPEAKER_02: So like there's a part where the sandworm get um it'll say like uh what do you call it?
9:55
SPEAKER_02: Spam the action button, and then the sandworm will like come down.
9:59
SPEAKER_02: He'll come down and then you can shoot it.
10:01
SPEAKER_01: Yes, okay.
10:02
SPEAKER_02: But you don't always have to do that, just certain times.
10:04
SPEAKER_01: Right.
10:05
SPEAKER_01: So in that part of the game, and it's this is just like a code thing, um, people don't know what to do because it there's some it's a new game, and people are playing it, so they're looking at the play field, you know, and and they and they just sit there and like what's going on?
10:19
SPEAKER_02: And they don't said that in my review too, um uh when I did it, and there is uh you can play with it and see if people like it.
10:26
SPEAKER_02: Bug shut it off.
10:28
SPEAKER_02: There there are call outs in it, but you gotta go into the service menu to turn them on.
10:32
SPEAKER_02: They didn't like the way they came out, okay.
10:34
SPEAKER_02: So they just didn't don't use them.
10:35
SPEAKER_02: But if you turn them on, you'll find I think the people playing will because there'll be parts where it's like, shoot the sandworm, shoot the sandworm, and it'll test it.
10:42
SPEAKER_01: That makes that makes so much that that's desperately needed because you you have unless you're looking at the display, it's not telling you what to do.
10:51
SPEAKER_02: And that's what I said in my review.
10:52
SPEAKER_02: I was like, because you're you know, I'm trying to learn the game, so I'm looking at the play field, and and you don't, you know, you don't really have time, and no one was with me.
10:58
SPEAKER_02: But it wasn't until Rudy came over where he's like telling me, and then we just happened to be playing in the code, and I saw something that said, I can't remember what it's called in the menu, something call outs.
11:07
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, I wonder why it's off.
11:08
SPEAKER_02: And then when I streamed it, Bug came into the live stream.
11:11
SPEAKER_02: He's like, No, no, they look because they don't like them, they don't like the call outs, so they didn't really want me streaming them.
11:17
SPEAKER_02: They didn't say don't stream it, but they were like, they don't feel like it's a good representation.
11:22
SPEAKER_02: Because it's like a British guy, it's like shoot the sandwich.
11:25
SPEAKER_02: It's kind of weird, it doesn't dude.
11:30
SPEAKER_01: So are they recording new callouts or what's going on there?
11:34
SPEAKER_02: So I think they're facing a similar thing to what like Jersey Jack did with Harry Potter, where like they they basically said, Look, if you're using a character for call-outs, he can only say the things that he said in the movie.
11:47
SPEAKER_02: So if you say like multiball, like sorry, can't say that.
11:50
SPEAKER_02: So I guess they recorded a guy that was an impersonator and he was doing all the normal callouts that we would say, lock lit, multi-ball, whatever.
11:59
SPEAKER_02: And they came back and they were like, Well, Michael Keaton doesn't say those things in the movie, so feel free to have him say anything he says in the movie, but not anything relating to pinball.
12:09
SPEAKER_02: So you could only do it with a character that wasn't in the movie, I guess.
12:13
SPEAKER_02: And so that's why they hired some dude, I don't remember where they hired him from.
12:16
SPEAKER_02: But I my my question is, are they gonna re-record those or do something else?
12:21
SPEAKER_02: Because if they don't like those and they're not turning them on by default, then where are the calls?
12:25
SPEAKER_02: They don't have to be.
12:32
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he did he did say that, but I I didn't he didn't really clarify what a minor character would be, but I guess it's one that you probably do the call out.
12:40
SPEAKER_03: The older lady would cut up and smoking that'd be cool.
12:44
SPEAKER_03: I mean, you just get using older well, missed out vibe.
12:49
SPEAKER_03: Whatever her name was.
12:50
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I get I mean, I guess you could yeah.
12:53
SPEAKER_02: Why is my is your guys' screens bouncing around everywhere, or is that just me?
12:57
SPEAKER_02: That that's just you.
12:59
SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
12:59
SPEAKER_02: It's weird.
13:00
SPEAKER_02: You guys keep like flip-flopping, but I don't know.
13:02
SPEAKER_02: I'll just leave it alone.
13:03
SPEAKER_01: It's probably something Jamie's doing.
13:05
SPEAKER_01: I'm sure it's all gonna go to shit.
13:07
SPEAKER_03: Speaking of shit, how great is this webcam?
13:09
SPEAKER_03: I finally so I've been using the Osmo Pocket 3 for all my reels, and I realized you know what, you could use this as a webcam, and it just looks so much better.
13:20
SPEAKER_02: You who taught you that?
13:22
SPEAKER_02: You yeah, by the way, you've had this for two years.
13:27
SPEAKER_02: I can't even believe it.
13:28
SPEAKER_02: So you've been having Jay, you've been having Kale and I endure your shitty video for and you could have made it better all this time.
13:35
SPEAKER_01: Not only, not only the here, but also in your reels.
13:40
SPEAKER_01: It it's like you smeared Vaseline all over your iPhone.
13:45
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's weird.
13:46
SPEAKER_01: But I'm glad I'm glad you got it fit.
13:48
SPEAKER_01: Thank you for it.
13:50
SPEAKER_03: Uh what kind of Osmopocket's doing.
13:52
SPEAKER_03: Alright, so that's a bow on Beetlejuice.
13:55
SPEAKER_03: Well, how's uh Pokemon doing at both locations as well?
14:01
SPEAKER_01: Hol holy crap.
14:03
SPEAKER_01: So Pokemon, um I don't know if you guys we got two of them.
14:08
SPEAKER_01: We have a premium and a pro.
14:10
SPEAKER_01: Uh there's usually somebody on both of them.
14:15
SPEAKER_01: Um excuse me.
14:18
SPEAKER_01: Uh uh it the I don't know which one.
14:22
SPEAKER_01: Rachel, you know, Rachel keeps up with all the numbers, but and she talked about it on the latest Batcast.
14:30
SPEAKER_01: Uh but we didn't have a whole month of Pokemon numbers yet.
14:35
SPEAKER_01: So she's pretty sure it's going to beat I think the last record for earnings in one month was Elton John.
14:43
SPEAKER_01: And and I think this is going to beat that.
14:48
SPEAKER_02: Oh wow.
14:49
SPEAKER_01: So it's gonna beat Fall of the Empire too, then oh wow, it it it already has, yeah.
14:55
SPEAKER_02: Well that was interesting because remember the last time I talked to you, you said it was a little bit of a slow start, but I guess it caught up once people realize it was there.
15:03
SPEAKER_01: The the Pokemon?
15:04
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
15:06
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so like um it it even beat out the Papa Shot, which has No way, and that thing's been like the champ, right?
15:13
SPEAKER_01: And and the last month that Papa Shot won, it it earned exactly two times as much as uh Fody.
15:23
SPEAKER_01: Wow, okay Fall of the Empire for you not not enlightened folks.
15:28
SPEAKER_01: Damn.
15:30
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so so Pokemon's killing it basically.
15:34
SPEAKER_01: It is and uh just like with you remember when we got D, we were talking about how lots of people we've never seen before showing up.
15:44
SPEAKER_01: Pokemon's just eclipsing that.
15:46
SPEAKER_01: There are all these people we've never seen before that are hanging out with the arcade because they know Pokemon's there.
15:52
SPEAKER_01: That's cool.
15:53
SPEAKER_01: And it's so great that we have two copies because you know it's it feels weird when you when you come to a new place and there's that one game you want to play, and you know, there's it's freaking occupied.
16:05
SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
16:05
SPEAKER_01: This way there's usually one open or somebody's at least finishing.
16:10
SPEAKER_02: You can at least get on one with not having to wait too long.
16:12
SPEAKER_02: Correct, yeah.
16:13
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's a cool that's good.
16:15
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I think it's a fun game.
16:17
SPEAKER_01: You know, of course it needs it it in dire need of of code, because I mean there's so many people that are just running through it, all the code that's there.
16:26
SPEAKER_01: Um but they're still they keep playing it though.
16:29
SPEAKER_01: They're having a great time with it.
16:30
SPEAKER_01: It's it's a beautiful looking game and it's it's fun, and people are really, really enjoying it.
16:34
SPEAKER_01: Did you put it in the tournament last Tuesday?
16:38
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, oh yeah, we've been and it's not been like too long of a player during the tournament or anything?
16:43
SPEAKER_02: No.
16:43
SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's good.
16:45
SPEAKER_01: And and I haven't done anything weird.
16:46
SPEAKER_02: I haven't like removed stuff or you know, jacked it, put a four-inch leg level in the top.
16:50
SPEAKER_03: Could you put Beetlejuice in the tournament?
16:54
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
16:56
SPEAKER_04: No, we can't.
16:58
SPEAKER_04: It plays way, it plays way too long.
17:01
SPEAKER_02: Way too long.
17:03
SPEAKER_02: Do you think if you shut off some of the ball saves, you could?
17:07
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
17:08
SPEAKER_01: I I guess.
17:09
SPEAKER_01: I just haven't like uh gotten into it.
17:11
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
17:12
SPEAKER_01: And and the way we uh so we watch some experienced players play it, and then we watch some uh you know newer players play it, and we were just like, this is not gonna work.
17:22
SPEAKER_01: We're all gonna be sitting around waiting.
17:24
SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, it it has a lot of ball saves, like they have one that they the Juno scoop, the code, and I don't know if the new one does it, but the old code still did it.
17:33
SPEAKER_02: I'm sure they're still doing it.
17:34
SPEAKER_02: But the Juno scoop sometimes will fire out fast and go straight down the middle.
17:37
SPEAKER_02: There and it automatically turns a ball saver on for that.
17:40
SPEAKER_02: And there's a couple other scenarios you can get into where your ball saver will go on automatically too.
17:45
SPEAKER_02: I almost feel like if you were have to if you were gonna put in the tournament, you'd have to shut that off.
17:49
SPEAKER_02: I think like all of that.
17:49
SPEAKER_02: I was curious if you may do that.
17:53
SPEAKER_03: Eureka's struggling.
17:54
SPEAKER_03: What do they keep it in or not?
17:56
SPEAKER_04: You know, are they having the problem with the long ball times?
18:04
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
18:05
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that's and we don't hate that.
18:08
SPEAKER_01: It is, you know, it you can't have Scooby was maybe you can play that for as long as you want to.
18:16
SPEAKER_03: They're already having spooky, they're now Beetlejuice, and now you know Evil Dead.
18:20
SPEAKER_03: These play long.
18:21
SPEAKER_03: It is what it is.
18:23
SPEAKER_03: It is what it is.
18:24
SPEAKER_03: All right, back to Pokemon.
18:26
SPEAKER_04: Uh Ralph, you're loving it, right?
18:32
SPEAKER_02: I am.
18:32
SPEAKER_02: I'm having a good time with it, but I'm not but I I said it on my podcast today, kind of what Kale just said.
18:37
SPEAKER_02: I feel like I've done all the things now, though.
18:40
SPEAKER_02: Like there that that proves that it's really shallow code.
18:43
SPEAKER_02: If I can get on a game and basically get through all the modes, get to the mini wizard mode.
18:47
SPEAKER_02: I think there's only one battle I didn't do, but for the most part, I've seen everything now.
18:51
SPEAKER_02: But it's still fun.
18:52
SPEAKER_02: Like, I have a I love the whole like dynamic of catching the Pokemon and all that stuff.
18:56
SPEAKER_02: My biggest thing is like, dude, we keep saying it, it's achievements.
18:59
SPEAKER_02: Like, I want the achievements, I want to be able to have the Pokedex on my phone.
19:03
SPEAKER_02: I've gotten really into this, and even though I it's a little bit embarrassing that I've gotten this into it, but I want to see the damn Pokemon on my phone.
19:10
SPEAKER_02: I want to see the damn Pokeron.
19:13
SPEAKER_02: Let's go to Insider Connect.
19:14
SPEAKER_03: Let's do this.
19:15
SPEAKER_03: I want to test.
19:17
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
19:18
unknown: Okay.
19:18
SPEAKER_03: Ladies and gentlemen, all right, what's up?
19:20
SPEAKER_03: You can do this at home as well.
19:21
SPEAKER_03: Go to Insider Connect, your your little app on your uh on your phone.
19:26
SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
19:27
SPEAKER_03: And then on wait forever.
19:29
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
19:29
SPEAKER_03: Wait forever for the server to replace.
19:32
SPEAKER_03: Sorry.
19:32
SPEAKER_03: Wait for Amazon.
19:33
SPEAKER_03: Go to games in the upper right hand corner.
19:40
SPEAKER_02: You act like you're a pro at this moment.
19:41
SPEAKER_02: Navigating Insider Connected.
19:42
SPEAKER_02: All right, I'm not going to be able to do that.
19:43
SPEAKER_02: You do all games.
19:44
SPEAKER_02: Even though you call it Insider Connected.
19:45
SPEAKER_02: Pokemon.
19:47
SPEAKER_03: Alright, click on Pokemon.
19:49
SPEAKER_03: I got it.
19:50
SPEAKER_03: How many games have we played?
19:52
SPEAKER_03: Let's start with KL Hernandez.
19:54
SPEAKER_03: Games played.
19:58
SPEAKER_01: And this is not a joke.
20:00
SPEAKER_01: 69.
20:02
SPEAKER_02: Oh, damn.
20:02
SPEAKER_02: That's a good amount.
20:04
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
20:05
SPEAKER_03: I'm 101.
20:06
SPEAKER_02: What's our highest score?
20:07
SPEAKER_03: Nobody cares about the latest score, but what's our highest score?
20:10
SPEAKER_03: KL Hernandez.
20:11
SPEAKER_03: Kale Hernandez.
20:12
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we'll keep it.
20:13
SPEAKER_01: Who's gonna go first?
20:14
SPEAKER_01: Do I go first?
20:16
SPEAKER_01: Uh uh 218 million and some chains.
20:21
SPEAKER_04: And chains.
20:22
SPEAKER_04: Alright, Jamie.
20:27
SPEAKER_02: 261,852.
20:31
SPEAKER_02: God damn, you beat me, Jamie.
20:33
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
20:34
SPEAKER_02: By what, 10 million grand?
20:36
SPEAKER_02: By 10,000?
20:37
SPEAKER_01: Now I'd I'd do 10 million.
20:40
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's a good one.
20:40
SPEAKER_01: I have one game on the the launch code, and it's not fair.
20:47
SPEAKER_01: I mean I had like 400 million, but it was the scoring was all crazy.
20:51
SPEAKER_01: I count that.
20:52
SPEAKER_01: And what's your average score?
20:55
SPEAKER_01: All right, well we're all pretty cool.
20:57
SPEAKER_01: My a my average score is 77 million.
21:03
SPEAKER_03: So that's really good.
21:05
SPEAKER_03: So average score, you're doing very, very well.
21:07
SPEAKER_03: So just think about how cool this will be, Stern, or really Pokemon, once you just accept this email and get these damn achievements ready.
21:15
SPEAKER_03: Because I'm at it with it.
21:17
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
21:18
SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's not turned well.
21:21
SPEAKER_02: What do you guys think though?
21:23
SPEAKER_02: How long do you think it's gonna be?
21:24
SPEAKER_02: Like, Kale, you sometimes get this scoop on this.
21:26
SPEAKER_02: Like, where's the code?
21:27
SPEAKER_02: Like, are we gonna get something soon?
21:29
SPEAKER_01: Or they we we have no idea.
21:32
SPEAKER_01: They've been waiting for approvals for a long, long time.
21:35
SPEAKER_01: They they have achievements ready.
21:37
SPEAKER_01: It's just kind of like the Walking Dead deal.
21:39
SPEAKER_01: They uh you know, when they when they account when the accountants are like, you need to ship this thing, we need some money to come in, they gotta do it.
21:46
SPEAKER_01: And so uh yeah, uh there's the updates been ready.
21:51
SPEAKER_02: They're just like it could be any time.
21:52
SPEAKER_02: Like if they got approval tomorrow, it could be like the next day or whatever.
21:55
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it could be any time.
21:57
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, man.
21:58
SPEAKER_01: But this just I mean.
22:00
SPEAKER_01: How long before we get to 1.0?
22:02
SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be like two years, right?
22:04
SPEAKER_02: Forever.
22:05
SPEAKER_01: I mean, what what the prob the problem is you're dealing with the largest IP in the entire world.
22:12
SPEAKER_02: And this is like small potatoes to them, right?
22:15
SPEAKER_02: I mean it's like nothing.
22:16
SPEAKER_01: They're making somewhere between 50 and 100 bucks a machine.
22:20
SPEAKER_01: They're probably making more money putting, you know, Squirtle on their thermos.
22:25
SPEAKER_01: You know, it's hard to hard to get these guys to answer the phone, right?
22:31
unknown: I'm glad they did it.
22:32
SPEAKER_01: But I'm glad they did it because it's a fabulous game and it's a wonderful, it's a wonderful IP.
22:37
SPEAKER_01: I think it's it's might be the best IP in the history of pinball.
22:40
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's the largest IP, it's bringing I mean they are selling a shit ton of games.
22:46
SPEAKER_01: Um there there are already a few thousand out there at people's homes or on the street.
22:52
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's a good thing.
22:53
SPEAKER_03: Went to a this is huge.
22:54
SPEAKER_03: I'm having a great time with it.
22:56
SPEAKER_03: I love it.
22:57
SPEAKER_03: When I go to Eureka, it's the first game I play, right?
23:01
SPEAKER_03: And I'm at Eureka Saturday night for a birthday party.
23:06
SPEAKER_03: My buddy Chris Palace, he listens, 40th birthday party, and there's a little boy on Pokemon, right?
23:14
SPEAKER_03: His dad comes over, puts the credit card on, the kid goes, I look, the father's putting five credits at a time on this machine, right?
23:26
SPEAKER_03: So I'm like, well, this kid's gonna be playing Pokemon forever, forget it, I'll go play something else.
23:32
SPEAKER_03: Every time I turn around, this child, this 10-year-old boy, is on Pokemon, right?
23:38
SPEAKER_03: Now, I don't mind for the first half an hour, 45 minutes, but now we're at an hour.
23:44
SPEAKER_03: Okay?
23:44
SPEAKER_03: So I go up and I'm like, I'm putting my quarters up.
23:47
SPEAKER_03: F this, man.
23:48
SPEAKER_03: I'm putting quarters up.
23:50
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
23:51
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
23:52
SPEAKER_02: So wait, you just you just decided this 10-year-old's gonna know what that means, you think?
23:57
SPEAKER_02: Or okay.
23:59
SPEAKER_02: Right?
24:00
SPEAKER_04: Okay, Ralph, because I walk up to the kid and I walk next game.
24:06
SPEAKER_03: Like, I didn't say can I get a quarter up?
24:08
SPEAKER_03: Because he doesn't know what a quarter up is.
24:10
SPEAKER_03: Can I get the next game?
24:10
SPEAKER_03: And he goes, I've got like four left.
24:13
SPEAKER_03: And so I'm like, forget it.
24:15
SPEAKER_03: This kid's just printing money for Eureka Heights, which is fantastic, but I just want to catch a Pokemon before I leave, right?
24:21
SPEAKER_02: I just what if he had a light on the game at the same time?
24:27
SPEAKER_03: No, but anyway, so the dad comes back over and drops another five dollars on it for fun, right?
24:34
SPEAKER_03: So I look at the dad and I go, Wow, this kid's addicted to Pokemon, huh?
24:38
SPEAKER_03: He goes, Yes, he won't play anything else in the entire arcade.
24:41
SPEAKER_03: This is all he wants to play.
24:42
SPEAKER_03: And I go, I gotta tell you, I gotta quarter up.
24:45
SPEAKER_03: And the guy started laughing his ass off, and he goes, After these games, your quarter is up.
24:51
SPEAKER_03: And I said, Alright, cool.
24:52
SPEAKER_03: So there's my my story.
24:55
SPEAKER_03: Beautiful.
24:57
SPEAKER_01: I'm glad you didn't believe it.
24:59
SPEAKER_01: We can all get along.
25:00
SPEAKER_01: It doesn't matter.
25:01
SPEAKER_01: Age, I'm not exaggerating, no, one hour.
25:04
SPEAKER_03: He he probably put 50 bucks in that game, and good for him.
25:08
SPEAKER_03: Blast.
25:09
SPEAKER_01: And he was having a blast, wasn't he?
25:12
SPEAKER_01: He was catching Pokemon and he was doing his thing.
25:15
SPEAKER_03: So I was like, this is badass.
25:17
SPEAKER_03: This is great.
25:18
SPEAKER_03: But I got a quarter-up, kid.
25:20
SPEAKER_03: Uh yeah.
25:23
SPEAKER_02: So I will say, when I was at the um Pokemon launch, I couldn't go to the bat one because uh I couldn't I had something to do that Sunday last Sunday, but I went to the Tilt Games one.
25:32
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and there were there were like three kids, little kids kinda in the tournament.
25:38
SPEAKER_02: And like one of them, she was playing really good.
25:41
SPEAKER_02: I was like, holy crap! Like she was getting it down, she was nudging the machine.
25:45
SPEAKER_02: She was even like dead bouncing a little bit.
25:47
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, damn, this this this little girl's good.
25:50
SPEAKER_02: And they there was these other two little girls, and they didn't have like real control of the ball too much yet, but they still were doing pretty well.
25:56
SPEAKER_02: It's just cool to see like I love it when I see these little kids playing because I'm like, man, that means they're into it now.
26:02
SPEAKER_02: And I asked one of their dads, I was like, Hey, does she just like coming?
26:07
SPEAKER_02: And um, the dad's like, actually, she'll only play in a tournament.
26:12
SPEAKER_02: She won't play, she doesn't have time for that other shit.
26:17
SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.
26:17
SPEAKER_02: I go, will she practice?
26:18
SPEAKER_02: And she he goes, No, she'll just go, it's not a tournament, I'm not playing.
26:23
SPEAKER_02: Which is funny as hell, right?
26:26
SPEAKER_02: Right?
26:27
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, she has a she has a um, you know, she has a profile on uh IFPA and everything.
26:32
SPEAKER_03: So all right, while we're while we're still on Stern Boys, let's talk about the remasters.
26:39
SPEAKER_03: There might be some rumors uh or something that we're hearing.
26:42
SPEAKER_03: What are we hearing?
26:43
SPEAKER_03: Are we hearing anything about remasters?
26:48
SPEAKER_01: Well, I I think the I think we're gonna see uh at this point, like ACDC this year and and maybe the uh those um boomer juggalo ban next year.
27:01
SPEAKER_01: But um but after that, like what do we what do we what what makes sense, right?
27:09
SPEAKER_01: That's that's the discussion.
27:11
SPEAKER_02: So uh I did a little bit of research on this and I pulled all the Sam games and then I pulled where they rank on IF on uh pin side, and I know pin that's all subjective people people say, and then it and then what active like how active this whatever this property is in social um in in like pop culture.
27:33
SPEAKER_02: And the interesting thing is if I went straight by that, the game that they should make, now I again there's probably could be licensing reasons why they can't, would be Star Trek, and it says because there's Starfleet Academy, which is a show, and then there's there's one called Strange New World Strange New Worlds, which is a continued show.
27:54
SPEAKER_02: So it was saying from a cop uh pop culture and popularity perspective, that would be the best the best mix of like franchise visibility and and enthusiast like love for the game.
28:06
SPEAKER_02: The second one that it came up with based on that criteria would be AC DC.
28:12
SPEAKER_02: And it says because AC DC has active tour dates this year, um, and it's just a mass audience appeal for that band, and there's it like transcends generations, so it would be one that just makes perfect sense.
28:24
SPEAKER_02: And then the now it gets a little fuzzy from here because technically speaking, like if it it it kind of like I gave a lot of this data.
28:34
SPEAKER_02: Um I put like the basic stuff together and I gave some of it to Chat GPT just to kind of see if I was like even off or anything.
28:42
SPEAKER_02: But one of the things that was interesting is it was like Iron Man would Iron Man was like kind of a question, and then the other one that was the that they said would be great, but probably wouldn't be great for timing unless they could have timed it around the uh uh the stuff that's going on with Game of Thrones, but it didn't rank them that way, it ranked them Star Trek based on kind of the data I gave it, ACDC, and then if it was going based on just pop culture relevance and stuff, it was saying Tron or Spider-Man, which it thought was interesting, but then it goes, then you look at the next games after that, right?
29:19
SPEAKER_02: It's like Transformers, but we know they're doing a Transformers Modern, so they're not gonna redo that.
29:24
SPEAKER_02: It definitely poo-pooed the crap out of Avatar.
29:26
SPEAKER_02: It ranked KISS really low, and X-Men was actually like number seven.
29:32
SPEAKER_02: And it said they, you know, obviously they because the X-Men 97 season two is scheduled for this summer, it's back in, you know, it's gonna be back in the news, but it was like, you know, I I I can't imagine they'd do that just because they just did an X-Men, so that's probably out.
29:46
SPEAKER_02: Um but what do you guys think of that?
29:49
SPEAKER_02: Like ACDC Tron.
29:51
SPEAKER_02: Like those kind of make sense, but I feel like they missed the boat on Tron with that air.
29:55
SPEAKER_02: They could have aligned that with the movie, right?
29:59
SPEAKER_01: Man, I'm I'm feeling I'm feeling Star Trek.
30:03
SPEAKER_02: Man, that is first of all, I think Star Trek 2 would be awesome, actually.
30:07
SPEAKER_01: Could you imagine a Spike 3 Star Trek?
30:10
SPEAKER_01: That's uh that's a that's a mind-blowing game.
30:13
SPEAKER_01: That's a great game.
30:14
SPEAKER_01: That's a fun game.
30:16
SPEAKER_01: It has cool rules.
30:18
SPEAKER_01: Uh that would be that would be awesome.
30:21
SPEAKER_02: Well, and there's no prior vault of that game.
30:23
SPEAKER_02: So like there's no there's no like reason to not do it, right?
30:26
SPEAKER_02: And I guess it would have to come down to cost, but I think they I think they did vault that game.
30:32
SPEAKER_02: Did they vault it?
30:33
SPEAKER_01: Okay, well, we we have to get into what vault means.
30:37
SPEAKER_01: Back in the day, vaulting used to mean like you get a vault edition, yeah.
30:41
SPEAKER_01: They would they would they would put it back on the line and you get a vault edition because the last run of that game, they had special badges on there.
30:49
SPEAKER_01: I think it was for like an anniversary or something.
30:51
SPEAKER_01: I think.
30:52
SPEAKER_01: But there were because I remember we were selling them and taking them to all the shows.
30:56
SPEAKER_01: Um, they had a little badge on there.
30:57
SPEAKER_01: So I th I and I think that was considered a vault.
31:00
SPEAKER_01: Uh just so we don't confuse everyone.
31:03
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, which vault now means it's no longer gonna be made for some period of time.
31:07
SPEAKER_01: Correct.
31:08
SPEAKER_01: They're putting it into a vault, and you know, like like what's in there?
31:12
SPEAKER_01: Foo Fighters and some some other games.
31:14
SPEAKER_02: Is an Iron Maiden now vaulted?
31:16
SPEAKER_02: I think.
31:17
SPEAKER_02: I thought it was and I think it is.
31:20
SPEAKER_02: Um, but what's crazy is I didn't really realize that that Starfleet Academy was still ongoing.
31:26
SPEAKER_02: So I think that's and then there's something coming out.
31:30
SPEAKER_01: There's so much.
31:30
SPEAKER_01: I uh you know I have Paramount Plus.
31:32
SPEAKER_02: Sorry, Starfleet Academy is premiering January or premiered January 15th, 2026, but then the Strange New Worlds thing is still going on, I guess.
31:40
SPEAKER_01: It's there's a whole new show, and and all of it, all if you're a Star Trek fan and you don't you don't have Paramount Plus, you're missing out, and everything Star Trek is on there.
31:51
SPEAKER_01: The old every television show, every movie, it is I mean, I think that would be a a great game.
31:59
SPEAKER_01: Um as long as they don't phone it in like they did on Walking Dead.
32:04
SPEAKER_01: I mean, like really put time into it, you know, new animate, like really use that big display, new animations.
32:11
SPEAKER_01: Um that would be I think that would be a hit.
32:14
SPEAKER_02: But I think aren't we seeing like all the signs still point to ACDC though?
32:18
SPEAKER_02: Like that's kind of what we feel like it is, right?
32:20
SPEAKER_02: Even though I would like Star Trek over ACDC personally.
32:24
SPEAKER_02: I think it's ACDC and then KISS.
32:26
SPEAKER_02: I from what I'm I'm hearing or reading, and yeah.
32:29
SPEAKER_02: What's interesting is I did some research on KISS.
32:32
SPEAKER_02: KISS doesn't, I mean, KISS is like ranked a lot lower.
32:37
SPEAKER_02: Um but it says there's no like real, like there's nothing really going on KISS related that puts it in the news right now.
32:45
SPEAKER_02: So like I don't know.
32:46
SPEAKER_02: Is that what that one you'd just be purely banking on nostalgia?
32:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
32:51
SPEAKER_01: And it's it's a good game, but you know, remake.
32:56
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
32:57
SPEAKER_02: I mean, then then if you go the other Sam's, wasn't Batman Dark Knight was Sam, right?
33:01
SPEAKER_01: And and you said Spider-Man, which has already been vaulted, the old meaning of vaulted.
33:07
SPEAKER_01: Um uh and they have a good relationship with Marvel.
33:13
SPEAKER_02: Well, and here's the reason for Spider-Man because the brand new day premieres July 31st.
33:20
SPEAKER_02: So that's this year.
33:21
SPEAKER_02: So there's gonna be a new Spider-Man movie this year.
33:23
SPEAKER_02: So it's like you got like a heating up brand.
33:27
SPEAKER_02: Actually, it's probably still hot when you think about it.
33:29
SPEAKER_02: So that that's kind of like I don't know, that if you if your top four would be Star Trek, ACDC, Tron, and Spider-Man, that's your top four.
33:40
SPEAKER_01: Now this is the interesting thing because uh the way time works, it's uh linear, right?
33:48
SPEAKER_01: We h we think.
33:50
SPEAKER_01: Um there's only so the well is not that deep.
33:56
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
33:57
SPEAKER_01: Like at some point, there's what do you what do we even do?
34:00
SPEAKER_02: They'll do CSI.
34:02
SPEAKER_02: I'm just kidding.
34:03
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
34:04
SPEAKER_02: I don't know, I don't know.
34:05
SPEAKER_01: World World Poker Tour, right?
34:08
SPEAKER_01: You know it would be amazing, Simpsons a pinball party.
34:13
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, oh that's true.
34:14
SPEAKER_03: Player two, though.
34:16
SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
34:16
SPEAKER_03: But it's fun.
34:18
SPEAKER_03: You know, it's just it's a fascinating conversation.
34:21
SPEAKER_02: People wanted to start so what do you guys think between you guys?
34:26
SPEAKER_02: Like knowing that that's probably the likely top four, what would you think it's gonna be?
34:31
SPEAKER_02: Is you think everyone ACDC?
34:33
SPEAKER_01: What was your run of the oh I'm I'm pretty damn sure it's gonna be ACDC this year.
34:39
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they got a thing for just these music.
34:41
SPEAKER_02: I I I don't know.
34:42
SPEAKER_02: I I I wouldn't I'm not interested in that because I feel like the last ACDC isn't that old, right?
34:49
SPEAKER_02: Was it 20 well you have uh 12-ish?
34:51
SPEAKER_01: This is like uh that's Gary's jam.
34:55
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, music pins, uh Jody, that's his jam.
35:00
SPEAKER_01: He came from the music industry.
35:02
SPEAKER_01: Um and uh they they hit a home run with Metallica, and they're trying to figure out how to do that.
35:11
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but they need to add the concert footage.
35:13
SPEAKER_03: Like you would have to add all the new concert footage for ACDC, like you did with Metallica.
35:20
SPEAKER_03: You need a thumbs, you can't just all of a sudden spit it out and think people are gonna like it.
35:25
SPEAKER_03: I mean you can't change the art, you have to change it all.
35:28
SPEAKER_03: Right.
35:30
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I I guess I like Metallica a lot more than AC DC as a game, but that's just my personal opinion.
35:37
SPEAKER_02: So like I'm not as excited about that.
35:39
SPEAKER_02: I'd be more excited about A C D C or this.
35:41
SPEAKER_04: That's just me.
35:42
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
35:47
SPEAKER_01: Did Jamie go save No, his his camera does a thing.
35:50
SPEAKER_01: We knew we knew that happened when we were chatting before you you came on.
35:54
SPEAKER_01: So we were we're aware of this.
35:56
SPEAKER_01: We're aware of this.
35:57
SPEAKER_01: I I didn't know.
35:58
SPEAKER_01: Thanks for having me.
35:58
SPEAKER_01: He's got the scales of justice behind him.
36:01
SPEAKER_01: Why you why you like why are we just seeing your head now?
36:05
SPEAKER_03: It's a different just hold on.
36:06
SPEAKER_02: So so it's never an episode where there isn't a technical issue that's caused by Jamie, Kale pretty much every time, right?
36:13
SPEAKER_01: No, and that's why we welcome it.
36:15
SPEAKER_01: Um so it seems like the Osmo loses connectivity and he has to reconnect, he has to reconnect it.
36:24
SPEAKER_02: It's like how the USB Cs fall out of those light boards on JJPs on location.
36:29
SPEAKER_02: Maybe your USB's falling out.
36:32
SPEAKER_03: It's pissed to me off.
36:35
SPEAKER_03: Um keep cocking.
36:37
SPEAKER_01: But the great what what are the uh yeah, yeah.
36:40
SPEAKER_01: So like what where are we?
36:42
SPEAKER_01: We're gonna see ACDC, we're gonna we're gonna see the boomer juggalo band.
36:47
SPEAKER_01: And then after that, what's what's going on?
36:49
SPEAKER_01: What are they gonna do?
36:50
SPEAKER_01: Um after all these four is remastered.
36:54
SPEAKER_02: Oh, after as far as remasters.
36:56
SPEAKER_02: Do you think do you think that a remaster has to be like do you think there internally at Stern, they say, okay, we just started this whole remaster thing a couple years ago?
37:07
SPEAKER_02: It's just Sam era.
37:08
SPEAKER_02: Or do you think that they would go through all the Sam era games and then move on to the next ones, or could we possibly see them remaster something that's even like a bit newer?
37:17
SPEAKER_02: Like a well that well, everyone keeps saying this like rumor about the and I have no idea where it even came from.
37:24
SPEAKER_02: This like gold edition of Godzilla.
37:26
SPEAKER_02: But I don't know, would that even be considered a remaster, or do you think they'll just call it gold edition that just be done, you know?
37:32
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't I don't know.
37:34
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I think they could sell them, so it kind of makes sense.
37:38
SPEAKER_02: I mean, to me, I I think there'd be still a lot of demand for it if they made it, and especially if they made it like very unique and different, like they did with the Jaws 50th, because Jaws 50th, I heard sold awesome, like it sold really well.
37:49
SPEAKER_02: Yep, and that's a great game.
37:51
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I mean so is Godzilla.
37:52
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
37:53
SPEAKER_02: I but I'm but I don't know, man.
37:54
SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm wondering if they would like remaster some of like a more modern game.
37:57
SPEAKER_02: Like, I think Jamie would lose his shit if they remastered Batman 66.
38:03
SPEAKER_04: Uh we can't hear you, Jamie.
38:05
SPEAKER_02: We can't hear him now.
38:06
SPEAKER_02: You're you're muted, buddy.
38:09
SPEAKER_02: Fuck off.
38:11
SPEAKER_01: There we go.
38:13
SPEAKER_02: Did you hear what I said?
38:14
SPEAKER_03: What if they remastered Batman?
38:15
SPEAKER_03: I mean Batman 66 would be just incredible.
38:17
SPEAKER_03: Uh remake there.
38:19
SPEAKER_03: But how do you now you've got different art that's a whole yeah, that's a whole bunch of things because you're never gonna hear it.
38:27
SPEAKER_02: Is it not?
38:28
SPEAKER_01: No, that's that's uh that's a kapow Joe Camiko.
38:31
SPEAKER_01: That's that's his license.
38:34
SPEAKER_01: So they probably couldn't do it anyway, but no, I mean they could just get with him and see if he he does the legwork and they do the manufacturing.
38:44
SPEAKER_01: We'll see.
38:46
SPEAKER_03: All right, let's put a bow on Stern.
38:48
SPEAKER_03: Uh what did we learn about JJP's next game?
38:51
SPEAKER_03: What was it, fantastic this weekend?
38:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so I I um I needed to scour the the internet really fast to read through Nap Arcade's article, but there was like a bunch of stuff that came out of that thing.
39:03
SPEAKER_02: Do you want to just do you want me to just do quick call-outs of it?
39:05
SPEAKER_03: Let's do some quick shout-outs to our boy, Jason Knapp at Nap's Arcade.
39:10
SPEAKER_03: Listen, JP's uh fantastic seminars, and he put it in a nice little bow for us.
39:16
SPEAKER_03: Go ahead, Ralph.
39:17
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so he said he said during in his in his write-up that it was basically talked about enough that it was like without a shadow of a doubt, the next game is Sonic.
39:26
SPEAKER_02: So that that came out.
39:27
SPEAKER_02: Uh the other thing that came out that Steve Ritchie was heard talking about that this is the fastest game he's ever made.
39:36
SPEAKER_02: So I that gets me excited because Sonic, speed, those kind of go hand in hand.
39:41
SPEAKER_02: So that could be very cool.
39:43
SPEAKER_02: Um, I don't know where this came from.
39:46
SPEAKER_02: This was not presented as official, but the writer says they personally believe, oh, this is nap.
39:51
SPEAKER_02: They personally believe Sonic could be sometime in June.
39:54
SPEAKER_02: So that's the time frame.
39:56
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
39:56
SPEAKER_01: It's good, it's gonna release at the uh in Atlanta.
40:00
SPEAKER_01: Southern Frida Gaming Expo Southern Frida Gaming Expo.
40:02
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's the plan.
40:04
SPEAKER_01: You know, who knows what actually happens.
40:06
SPEAKER_02: Mark Siden confirmed that he's working on his next game, and Jack, of course, who likes to talk, said that he played Mark's layout and thought it was really great.
40:16
SPEAKER_02: That's all.
40:16
SPEAKER_02: So I mean he's not really gonna say he thinks it sucks, but he says he thinks it's really great.
40:20
SPEAKER_02: So and I'm not saying it's sure it is another dime.
40:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's like, Don't spend another time until the next one.
40:25
SPEAKER_02: They're like, oh crap.
40:27
SPEAKER_02: So no, I I'm I'm excited for another Mark Siden game because I really liked Avatar, even though I know it's not everyone's favorite.
40:35
SPEAKER_03: Um they said it not said that Mark Sidon's game could be a music pen, is what he's hearing.
40:40
SPEAKER_02: I know, he said it could be a music theme.
40:44
SPEAKER_02: Hmm.
40:45
SPEAKER_02: Hmm.
40:46
SPEAKER_02: Now here's the most interesting thing that I think you guys will want to talk about because there's not a lot of detail on this, and I don't understand what the hell this could be.
40:54
SPEAKER_02: And it is one of the other show topics.
40:56
SPEAKER_02: Jay and I didn't get a chance to look at it look at the what they filed.
41:00
SPEAKER_02: JJP filed a patent related to AI for pinball and gaming.
41:05
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
41:05
SPEAKER_02: What the hell could that be?
41:09
SPEAKER_04: No idea.
41:12
SPEAKER_04: What did Nap guy?
41:14
SPEAKER_02: Nothing.
41:15
SPEAKER_02: Just said Jack said they're filing they're filing the he just said they're filing this hat patent.
41:20
SPEAKER_02: That's it.
41:20
SPEAKER_02: Like they don't know the details of it.
41:22
SPEAKER_02: So I don't know if they probably haven't filed it yet, because I'm sure Nap would have gone and looked at the patent and figured out what it is.
41:27
SPEAKER_02: Totally.
41:27
SPEAKER_02: He's he's a sleuth like that.
41:29
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and also, I mean, what what does that mean?
41:32
SPEAKER_02: I mean it could mean a million things.
41:34
SPEAKER_01: John John Wick supposedly had AI in it, but it but it really didn't.
41:38
SPEAKER_01: It was just a marketing term, you know?
41:40
SPEAKER_01: So that was uh mess.
41:43
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but how I can't even imagine how you would use uh AI in a pinball machine, like for the player where it interacts with the player, but uh I don't know, maybe you're talking to the machine and doing stuff.
41:56
SPEAKER_01: I don't um let's cool.
41:58
SPEAKER_01: Let's see it.
41:59
SPEAKER_01: I'm all for it.
42:00
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, I mean, I guess I mean, I guess you could have some AI in the sense like the code could do something.
42:07
SPEAKER_02: I mean, this would piss off tournament players, but like the code could change, like in a mode, you know what I mean?
42:13
SPEAKER_02: Like it could do different things based on how you're shooting it.
42:16
SPEAKER_02: Like that could be I that I could see them do use AI for that because like it would adapt to what you're doing, like potentially, um, or or it knows you keep missing a shot, so it's gonna like put the ball.
42:27
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
42:27
SPEAKER_02: Like, what that that's where I feel like they could use AI, but I don't know how I feel about that.
42:30
SPEAKER_01: That's just like one thing I thought of, but but you wouldn't you wouldn't even need a AI for something like that.
42:37
SPEAKER_01: I mean, you could you could code what you're talking about, you could just code into a game.
42:41
SPEAKER_02: But what if you did something like, but what if you did said like maybe this is a better opinion, maybe a better way of putting it.
42:48
SPEAKER_02: What if you had the game on location at the bat and it would adapt to the players at the bat?
42:54
SPEAKER_02: Do you know what I mean?
42:54
SPEAKER_02: Like it would potentially make the game harder because the players are better, and it could like, and then if there was time periods where it was during the day and people suck at it, it could like tune itself back to like the non-good player setting.
43:08
SPEAKER_02: I don't know, that's just one thing I could think of.
43:10
SPEAKER_01: Well, if it could recognize that if it could recognize your face and go, oh, it's Jamie, let's put it on easy mode.
43:17
SPEAKER_01: That's that's the kind of AI.
43:19
SPEAKER_01: No, this okay, this makes sense to me now because you you uh on Harry Potter, they debuted this, and I forgot what it's called.
43:27
SPEAKER_01: You have a key fob or something, and you can hold it up.
43:30
SPEAKER_02: Shit, I can't think of what that's called now.
43:32
SPEAKER_02: Right.
43:33
SPEAKER_02: Game changer.
43:34
SPEAKER_01: Game changer, you hold it up and it'll set the the difficulty level for the player.
43:40
SPEAKER_01: That's how you use AI.
43:41
SPEAKER_01: You walk up, oh, this guy, I don't know if he's ready for something like this.
43:46
SPEAKER_01: You it ought to game, you hit the start button and it starts on easy.
43:50
SPEAKER_01: You know, I mean that would be a use for AI.
43:52
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, I guess you could have it prompt you like, oh, you have this this is your first time playing, I've never seen you before.
43:58
SPEAKER_02: Are you a beginner?
44:00
SPEAKER_02: Or player, and you say yes, and then it tunes everything down to whatever, and then the next time you come up, it recognizes you.
44:06
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
44:06
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that could be cool.
44:08
SPEAKER_01: One one interesting thing you keep hearing, and I've heard it from many people, this is the fastest game in the history of pinball.
44:16
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
44:17
SPEAKER_01: So you gotta think about that.
44:18
SPEAKER_01: Like, what the hell is that?
44:19
SPEAKER_01: What do you mean, fastest game?
44:20
SPEAKER_01: What because, like, I mean, you're still dealing with Jersey Jack flippers, that speed's not gonna come from these flippers.
44:29
SPEAKER_01: I I think you're gonna see a hyperloop like no one has ever seen before.
44:34
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
44:35
SPEAKER_01: Like, like you're gonna break something.
44:36
SPEAKER_02: It's so you think the speed's gonna come from some like mech or something in the game.
44:41
SPEAKER_01: That's the only thing that makes sense.
44:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
44:43
SPEAKER_01: Because like I I bet you're gonna see some gigantic coils with some heavy freaking resistance that are just gonna fling multiple balls around at lightning speed.
44:54
SPEAKER_01: Like you your eye is not even gonna be able to follow this thing.
44:58
SPEAKER_03: It's gonna be a heavy machine, is what you're saying.
45:00
SPEAKER_03: That'd be cool.
45:01
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
45:02
SPEAKER_03: Jersey Jack has the heaviest machines on the planet.
45:05
SPEAKER_01: With with a new power supply.
45:06
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
45:07
SPEAKER_03: Jeez.
45:08
SPEAKER_03: Well, that's gonna be awesome, right?
45:09
SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
45:10
SPEAKER_03: All right, let's go to American pinball.
45:13
SPEAKER_02: Did we want to close the loop on the AI topic because we had that other one, or do we want to move on?
45:18
SPEAKER_02: We'll do that later.
45:20
SPEAKER_03: Oh, the AI topic of uh pushing through uh insider connect.
45:26
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we could we could probably do it.
45:28
SPEAKER_02: Sorry, I I just figured because we were already talking about AI, it's kind of like we can do that.
45:32
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, why does CERN why doesn't Stern use AI to speed up software updates?
45:37
SPEAKER_01: I I added that to the notes because I I went to it was some there was some thread on PinSide, and I very rarely go read all this stuff, but I was I had some downtime at work and I was like uh I was like, let me see what's going on on Pin Side.
45:53
SPEAKER_01: I usually only go to Pin Side for like uh mechanic uh like maintenance type stuff, trouble troubleshooting.
45:59
SPEAKER_01: But uh and of course I went uh I checked out the barrels of fun uh thread, and it seems like there's a real disaster going on there, and and and David Van Esse even had to come in and chime in, and uh people are wiring stuff backwards, uh you know.
46:16
SPEAKER_01: But then I went to uh the Stern, one of the Stern ones, I don't know if it was Pokemon or just what is, I think it was the what's the next Stern, and everybody's complaining about code updates, and and you know, they there's a problem.
46:31
SPEAKER_01: I'm not blaming Stern.
46:32
SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, you don't know whether to blame Stern or blame uh are the developers not working fast enough, or or or is the IP holder not picking up the phone or answering emails, but whatever it is, I I know us and the the fans, the people at home, and the people at Stern wishes this would happen faster.
46:55
SPEAKER_01: Yeah but there were so many people there there were there was there's a whole conversation about why don't they just use AI?
47:02
SPEAKER_01: That the the speed of the development is not the issue, it's it's approvals.
47:07
SPEAKER_01: I know for I know for a fact with this the the Pokemon, you know, it's everything's ready, it just needs to be reviewed and approved, signed off on.
47:17
SPEAKER_02: Right.
47:17
SPEAKER_02: And I mean I I I don't really I mean I don't think that this is why you put it in there, but I I feel like I would rather have someone because I'm sure you could train AI to learn about code rules, but I just think you're gonna get a much more interesting software package from someone like that understands pinball, you know.
47:37
SPEAKER_02: So I mean I I'm I definitely but I do feel like they probably already do.
47:42
SPEAKER_02: I'm sure they use AI for like helping them fix bugs in the code.
47:46
SPEAKER_02: That's what I was about to ask.
47:47
SPEAKER_02: Debugging.
47:48
SPEAKER_02: That's what I would expect because that could speed things up.
47:51
SPEAKER_02: But I and I'm sure they do.
47:53
SPEAKER_02: They're probably already doing that.
47:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I would think so.
47:55
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think so.
47:56
SPEAKER_01: I have a lot of programmer fans, friends, and they love AI for that.
48:00
SPEAKER_01: You know, have they they put it all in Claude or whatever, and and they're like, Where's the issue here?
48:05
SPEAKER_01: And AI usually always finds it.
48:07
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
48:08
SPEAKER_02: We we um we did a fun thing at work because we're an engineering company.
48:12
SPEAKER_02: There was a this was like a year ago, though.
48:15
SPEAKER_02: Our like head head um, he's like the founder of the company.
48:19
SPEAKER_02: He assembled a team of human engineers and said, I want you guys to code this scenario, like write the code for this.
48:27
SPEAKER_02: And then he took another group of engineers and said, You guys can only use AI to achieve this goal.
48:33
SPEAKER_02: And he like bet the other dude, like that was running that team, like a thousand dollars that the humans would would do a better job.
48:39
SPEAKER_02: And and he and it and he they did.
48:41
SPEAKER_02: Like the problem was the guys writing the code with AI kept having to do more bug fixes with AI, and it did eventually get to the outcome, but it took them like I want to say it was like four or five hours longer, yeah.
48:53
SPEAKER_02: Because they just kept running into issues that were generated by AI writing like bad code, basically.
48:59
SPEAKER_02: So it's kind of it wasn't necessarily bad code, it's like it has to understand what you're trying to do, and they were only able to use AI.
49:06
SPEAKER_02: It was it was pretty interesting, but very cool.
49:09
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, hey, we jumped around a minute for Stern, but I didn't give you props, Kale, for uh revealing Dracula.
49:16
SPEAKER_03: I never gave Oh yeah, yeah.
49:18
SPEAKER_01: Oh, people are running, people are running with that story, huh?
49:21
SPEAKER_03: People are running with your story, my friend, that you said that it was an original IP is what you were hearing, and you used your expertise and said Dracula, and now people running with it.
49:34
SPEAKER_01: That was just a guess.
49:36
SPEAKER_02: So Q1.
49:38
SPEAKER_02: But it makes sense.
49:39
SPEAKER_02: 2027, we should see Dracula by Brian Eddie.
49:42
SPEAKER_01: I think that will be the first game for 2027, Brian Eddie Dracula, apparently, and then um what's the what's the other one I heard about?
49:53
SPEAKER_01: The the two guys Bill and Ted.
49:55
SPEAKER_01: Bill and Ted.
49:56
SPEAKER_01: Which is weird.
49:58
SPEAKER_01: Is that a good IP?
50:00
SPEAKER_03: Is Bill and Ted a good IP?
50:02
SPEAKER_03: If you had the uh phone booth pop up in one spot and then all of a sudden George Carlin, right?
50:12
SPEAKER_03: George Carlin, and then the phone booth pops up somewhere else and releases the ball?
50:17
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
50:17
SPEAKER_02: That could be I mean that would be pretty cool if you traveled through time through this through the phone booth like you do in the movie.
50:24
SPEAKER_02: Like that would be pretty badass.
50:25
SPEAKER_01: And and if they are doing Bill and Ted, who who's doing that?
50:29
SPEAKER_01: What designer?
50:30
SPEAKER_01: Is that Borg?
50:33
SPEAKER_01: What makes sense?
50:34
SPEAKER_02: I mean, what do we what's our schedule looking like right now?
50:37
SPEAKER_02: You got Elliot.
50:40
SPEAKER_01: Elliot Eiseman Elliot and Elizabeth on Transformers, and Keith.
50:45
SPEAKER_02: Okay, and then Keith.
50:46
SPEAKER_02: And then and then what?
50:47
SPEAKER_02: We have Remastered.
50:49
SPEAKER_02: Remastered, so probably Borg since he does them all.
50:52
SPEAKER_02: And then uh Yeah, then you well, then you'd be at your Dracula, right?
50:57
SPEAKER_02: So so who you're saying, what's after Dracula?
51:00
SPEAKER_02: Who's never who would be next up?
51:02
SPEAKER_03: He's asking who's the designer for it.
51:05
SPEAKER_05: Hmm.
51:07
SPEAKER_01: I think that makes sense.
51:08
SPEAKER_01: Borg, uh, because it I don't think it's gonna be Gomez.
51:12
SPEAKER_01: Like right now, I would imagine Gomez is working on a Costco version of Pokemon.
51:19
SPEAKER_01: Pokemon.
51:20
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
51:20
SPEAKER_02: Do you think that all right, just because we're all friends here, do you think Gomez was like, yeah, I still fucking got it?
51:27
SPEAKER_02: Like after Pokemon came, he's like, I still fucking got it.
51:30
SPEAKER_02: Like you think he like he might not say it, but you know he's thinking it.
51:34
SPEAKER_02: He's like, I think he I think he feels good.
51:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's like, Yeah.
51:39
SPEAKER_02: George bitches, Pokemon.
51:42
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, this is I didn't even know what this, I didn't even know what Pokemon was.
51:46
SPEAKER_01: This game, I mean, as long as they have a good relationship with the Pokemon company, this game's gonna sell more than Godzilla.
51:53
SPEAKER_03: Really?
51:54
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, easy.
51:56
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they gotta do updates though.
51:58
SPEAKER_02: I mean, that's probably will.
51:59
SPEAKER_02: I mean, it will it would be because think here's the thing that's crazy about it is like think about all the sales that haven't happened that are gonna be these people that get into pinball, and then they find out that there's a Pokemon, that's gonna be the game they're gonna want.
52:12
SPEAKER_02: Like, because there's the younger people coming in, then they're gonna want to buy Godzilla.
52:16
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're gonna sell a shitload of them.
52:18
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
52:19
SPEAKER_03: Shitloads.
52:21
SPEAKER_03: Shitloads.
52:22
SPEAKER_03: So we're bouncing around.
52:24
SPEAKER_03: Sorry about that, ladies and gentlemen.
52:25
SPEAKER_03: I tried to organize the notes, but uh, you know, sometimes it doesn't work.
52:29
SPEAKER_03: Uh American Pinball shooting for six different classic remakes.
52:34
SPEAKER_03: We know three from Cal Hernandez.
52:37
SPEAKER_03: We know Circus Voltaire.
52:39
SPEAKER_03: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, hold up.
52:40
SPEAKER_03: That was Ralph.
52:42
SPEAKER_03: No, no, no, no.
52:43
SPEAKER_02: It's you.
52:44
SPEAKER_03: It's you.
52:45
SPEAKER_03: I took the fall for it at TPF.
52:48
SPEAKER_03: Don't believe him, Brian.
52:49
SPEAKER_03: Circus Voltaire, World Cup Soccer, Theater of Magic, but we don't know the No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
52:55
SPEAKER_01: Oh, see, oh, is that the new one?
52:57
SPEAKER_03: Well, you just gave him up.
52:58
SPEAKER_02: You just said that's what you think it is, then.
53:00
SPEAKER_02: Those are the three.
53:01
SPEAKER_02: I thought we were no, it's no, no, we didn't know.
53:04
SPEAKER_02: We were kind of gonna guess, right?
53:07
SPEAKER_01: The next three no, we know the three because it's well, they they announced Circus Voltaire.
53:13
SPEAKER_01: Right, and then it's gonna be Fish Tales and then World Cup Soccer.
53:19
SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry.
53:20
SPEAKER_02: So you don't but they didn't say fish tales, did they?
53:23
SPEAKER_03: No, but they will once uh they will once they're ready.
53:27
SPEAKER_02: What if it's not fish tails?
53:28
SPEAKER_02: What if it's theater of magic, tales of the Arabian Knights, and World Cup Soccer?
53:32
SPEAKER_03: It's not, it's not it's definitely World Cup Soccer and and Fish Tales.
53:38
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
53:40
SPEAKER_02: You don't think they that you don't think they're gonna have Theater of Magic on that list somewhere?
53:43
SPEAKER_01: No, I know for a fact they're not.
53:45
SPEAKER_01: Unless they change something.
53:46
SPEAKER_01: No.
53:47
SPEAKER_01: No, but you don't mean like over time they could No.
53:50
SPEAKER_01: Okay, these are the ones that are already planned, but they they said from what I've read that they're gonna do six, all they have like the licensing for six of them from Rick at Planetary.
54:01
SPEAKER_01: So why don't we try to figure out what all six are?
54:03
SPEAKER_01: That's the that's the mission.
54:05
SPEAKER_01: So let's go.
54:06
SPEAKER_01: So we we know the first three, right?
54:08
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
54:10
SPEAKER_01: All right, now we we now we have to figure out what the next three are.
54:13
SPEAKER_02: Now we have to add theater of magic to that.
54:15
SPEAKER_02: That's gotta be a given that they're doing theater of magic, right?
54:18
SPEAKER_01: That that makes sense to me.
54:20
SPEAKER_01: Makes sense.
54:20
SPEAKER_02: That's my call.
54:21
SPEAKER_02: It has to be there has to be theater of magic.
54:23
SPEAKER_02: That's that's the one.
54:24
SPEAKER_02: That's one I'll I'll take that one.
54:26
SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
54:28
SPEAKER_02: Uh what else?
54:29
SPEAKER_02: Do you want me to help you, Jamie?
54:31
SPEAKER_02: What's that?
54:32
SPEAKER_02: I'm giving you a lifeline.
54:33
SPEAKER_02: No, no, I'm not gonna tell you the game.
54:34
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna give you a lifeline, though.
54:36
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
54:36
SPEAKER_02: So it can't be it can't be Medieval Madness.
54:41
SPEAKER_02: Right.
54:41
SPEAKER_02: It can't be Attack from Mars.
54:43
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it can't be Monster Bash.
54:45
SPEAKER_02: Correct.
54:46
SPEAKER_02: And it can't be Funhouse, and it can't be Cactus Canyon.
54:49
SPEAKER_01: It can't be Twilight.
54:50
SPEAKER_01: It can't be Twilight Zone.
54:51
SPEAKER_02: And it can't be Twilight Zone.
54:55
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
54:56
SPEAKER_01: So you here's my guess.
54:59
SPEAKER_01: We're trying to eliminate him, Jamie.
55:00
SPEAKER_01: Come on, baby.
55:00
SPEAKER_01: You got this.
55:04
SPEAKER_01: I said it earlier.
55:05
SPEAKER_01: Do you want me to give you a guess?
55:06
SPEAKER_01: Go ahead, yeah, please.
55:08
SPEAKER_01: Scared stiff.
55:11
unknown: Scared.
55:14
SPEAKER_04: So you you you already have Isn't Norman didn't Norman do Scared Stuff?
55:21
SPEAKER_04: Uh yeah, I think so.
55:23
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
55:24
SPEAKER_04: I think it did all of them.
55:26
SPEAKER_01: You're taking a really long time, Jamie.
55:28
SPEAKER_01: I can't come up with it.
55:30
SPEAKER_01: But why would it matter if Norman did it?
55:32
SPEAKER_01: I mean, like Rick Rick Rick holds the rights to it.
55:35
SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's right.
55:36
SPEAKER_01: He doesn't have to ask Norman.
55:37
SPEAKER_02: Genie.
55:38
SPEAKER_02: You don't you you you out of the options I gave you, you don't go to one in particular with like a genie in it?
55:45
SPEAKER_02: Totan?
55:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
55:47
SPEAKER_01: I thought um that other company was doing that one.
55:50
SPEAKER_03: I thought that other one was doing Totan.
55:52
SPEAKER_01: The the the overseas company.
55:54
SPEAKER_01: But did we get that confirmation on that?
55:56
SPEAKER_01: No.
55:57
SPEAKER_02: Alright.
55:57
SPEAKER_02: I I well alright.
55:58
SPEAKER_02: So that was one that was the one I was that was the only other one I was thinking.
56:01
SPEAKER_02: So Jimmy you gotta pick one.
56:05
SPEAKER_04: I gotta pick one.
56:06
SPEAKER_04: Whitewater?
56:08
SPEAKER_04: Well they could, right?
56:12
SPEAKER_04: I don't think they are, but they could.
56:15
SPEAKER_01: I I tell you one that would be amazing, but I don't know if they can.
56:19
SPEAKER_01: And it and it's not like a licensing thing.
56:21
SPEAKER_01: It's it's because of the racism.
56:24
SPEAKER_01: Uh champion pub.
56:26
SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
56:27
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I didn't even put that on my list.
56:31
SPEAKER_03: I'm trying to go through thinking of of all the things.
56:34
SPEAKER_02: And we we and and we could they couldn't do they pretty much couldn't do Adam's family, right?
56:39
SPEAKER_02: No, wouldn't that just be like super expensive?
56:41
SPEAKER_02: It'd just be stupid, right?
56:42
SPEAKER_02: It wouldn't even Yeah, you would just go out of business.
56:44
SPEAKER_01: It doesn't even make sense.
56:46
SPEAKER_01: Just trying to work shit out, yeah.
56:48
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
56:49
SPEAKER_02: Isn't there what about uh I don't know, never mind.
56:52
SPEAKER_02: I guess it's a crap.
56:53
SPEAKER_03: And we can't figure them out, ladies and gentlemen.
56:55
SPEAKER_03: So write us, tell us what you think should be the other two or three that we then aren't you getting into like obscure territory at that point?
57:02
SPEAKER_02: Like, what's I don't know this game, like I've never played like uh Dr.
57:06
SPEAKER_01: Dude in his excellent array, that would be amazing.
57:09
SPEAKER_02: Or like what's the isn't isn't Roadshow one?
57:13
SPEAKER_01: Uh Roadshow, you know, you could do you could do party zone.
57:19
SPEAKER_01: The only thing you just have to stay away from the IPs where you have to get other people like like uh I mean Harley Davidson, they could probably get that, but uh that's kind of weird.
57:28
SPEAKER_01: Corvette.
57:29
SPEAKER_02: Uh you know, dude, it actually would be kind of badass if they did Whitewater, right?
57:33
SPEAKER_02: Wouldn't that be kind of cool if they did Whitewater?
57:36
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, people love that game.
57:39
SPEAKER_01: And and uh I don't think very many were made, maybe a few thousand.
57:45
SPEAKER_02: So then it could be so so if if Whitewater was in there, then it'd be Theater of Magic, World Cup Soccer, and Whitewater.
57:53
SPEAKER_02: Is that the other three?
57:54
SPEAKER_02: Or could it be?
57:55
SPEAKER_02: That'd be cool.
57:56
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
57:58
SPEAKER_02: That would be kind of badass.
58:00
SPEAKER_02: Well, because everyone loves World Cup Soccer.
58:02
SPEAKER_02: Theater of Magic's cool.
58:03
SPEAKER_03: They should have put World Cup soccer first and and tied it in with the World Cup coming to the United States.
58:10
SPEAKER_03: So that might have been good move.
58:12
SPEAKER_03: That would have been cool.
58:13
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
58:13
SPEAKER_03: Probably.
58:14
SPEAKER_03: But uh, you know, I'm not marketing, so what do I'm just a recruiter?
58:17
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
58:18
SPEAKER_01: But uh soccer probably would have been a good move with uh, you know, working with the World Cup, getting them in didn't didn't they choose Circus Voltaire because the electric playground guys had already done like a topper or something like that?
58:34
SPEAKER_03: So I don't know.
58:35
SPEAKER_03: I don't know if that was the reason but they did have they did that.
58:38
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they did do that, yeah.
58:39
SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
58:40
SPEAKER_02: And the topper's cool.
58:41
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
58:42
SPEAKER_02: So I don't know if that was the reason, but that definitely I mean we didn't ask them that, Jamie.
58:47
SPEAKER_02: We were hanging out that night, huh?
58:49
SPEAKER_02: Probably should have.
58:49
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
58:50
SPEAKER_03: Everything else.
58:51
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
58:52
SPEAKER_02: I know.
58:53
SPEAKER_03: They wouldn't give us anything.
58:54
SPEAKER_03: Robin and uh Alec wouldn't give us much, but we I heard that uh they do they are making uh uh a music pen.
59:04
SPEAKER_03: That's that's that they've collected.
59:08
SPEAKER_03: It was a music pen, and that uh Mark is working on an IP that American collected, not the one that Electric Playground was working on.
59:20
SPEAKER_01: A different one.
59:22
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I forgot to mention about the JJP where they're thinking it might be a uh a music pin, Mark Sidon's game.
59:32
SPEAKER_01: If it is a music pin, there's a chance it might be Beastie Boys.
59:37
SPEAKER_02: That's been ca that's kind that came up before.
59:41
SPEAKER_02: That would be that'd be pretty cool, actually.
59:44
SPEAKER_02: That would be totally I'd be down for that.
59:47
SPEAKER_01: That would be mind blowing.
59:49
SPEAKER_01: Pass the mind because I've I've heard from some people that like Stern was messing around, maybe talking to them to about doing a pin, but they they it didn't happen.
1:00:02
SPEAKER_02: That would be cool, yeah.
1:00:05
SPEAKER_01: And it may have not happened because somebody else scooped it up, yeah.
1:00:09
SPEAKER_02: And that rumor was was floating around that JJP had that a long a while.
1:00:13
SPEAKER_02: I think it was a couple years ago.
1:00:14
SPEAKER_02: So that'd be interesting.
1:00:15
SPEAKER_02: There could have been truth to that.
1:00:17
SPEAKER_02: I like that.
1:00:18
SPEAKER_02: I hope that's actually what's happening because they probably sell a ton of those, dude.
1:00:22
SPEAKER_01: That would be amazing.
1:00:23
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that would be absolutely cool.
1:00:25
SPEAKER_01: I'm I'll I have to call Jack if that goes down.
1:00:30
SPEAKER_03: All right, that's uh do you want to talk about barrels?
1:00:38
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
1:00:38
SPEAKER_01: I want to talk about everything.
1:00:39
SPEAKER_01: Everything you actually go around the horn, Jamie.
1:00:43
SPEAKER_03: Barrels of Fun.
1:00:45
SPEAKER_03: The rumor that was said to me from two sources.
1:00:49
SPEAKER_03: Don't get mad at me, Dave Vaness.
1:00:52
SPEAKER_03: Here we go.
1:00:53
SPEAKER_03: Okay, yeah, baby.
1:00:54
SPEAKER_03: He can't get mad at us.
1:00:55
SPEAKER_03: No, was going to release a game at TPF, but they didn't have it ready.
1:01:02
SPEAKER_03: Ooh.
1:01:03
SPEAKER_03: And so with but this is like rumorville podcast.
1:01:07
SPEAKER_03: We're doing nothing but rumors like.
1:01:14
SPEAKER_02: When would they have even made it if they there's no way they were ready.
1:01:17
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's no way.
1:01:18
SPEAKER_01: Don't shoot them at the end it doesn't well, that just shows that they need money.
1:01:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:01:23
SPEAKER_01: Because you don't you don't have to you don't have to build them.
1:01:27
SPEAKER_01: You want to get the the deposits in.
1:01:29
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
1:01:30
SPEAKER_01: And so if they announce something and get it some excitement, you know, like I don't what the rumors are Dungeon Crawler Carl and the Never Ending Story.
1:01:40
SPEAKER_01: I don't know how much excitement that would bring.
1:01:43
SPEAKER_01: Um, but I do believe another game designed by Carl would excite people enough to sell 500 machines, um and and that would get more deposits in.
1:01:56
SPEAKER_01: You know, and that it's actually kind of scary that they want to jump.
1:01:59
SPEAKER_01: Like, that's a good point, uh, Ralph.
1:02:02
SPEAKER_01: Like, why are they doing this?
1:02:04
SPEAKER_01: Why are they trying to like fast track games?
1:02:06
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:02:06
SPEAKER_01: The scary part is it kind of it makes you think they're they're hurting.
1:02:11
SPEAKER_03: No, I don't I I I don't take it that way.
1:02:14
SPEAKER_03: I'm just taking it that they they were excited, they hadn't something very, very close, what the person told me, and but they didn't want to rush it, and it's not ready yet, is what I'll well if and and if that's true, kudos, because they they do need to take more time and and fully bake yeah, these games you don't want another Dune, right?
1:02:36
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, not that launch.
1:02:37
SPEAKER_03: You want a good good great launch.
1:02:40
SPEAKER_03: And uh so sorry that if that's true that they missed out on TPF, but uh you know, kudos to holding it back and let's see, let's make sure it's ready.
1:02:52
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, uh I don't know about never ending story.
1:02:54
SPEAKER_02: I keep hearing that, but I I don't again But that seems like such a such a barrels of fun license, don't you think?
1:03:01
SPEAKER_01: Without a doubt, yeah.
1:03:02
SPEAKER_02: I mean it just feels like it when you've done based on the fact that he was into labyrinth, you know, and then we'd heard a whole bunch of other things that were like in that fantasy realm that he was tossing out there.
1:03:11
SPEAKER_02: So I don't know, I feel like that's what he's into, you know.
1:03:15
SPEAKER_03: I think dungeon crawler Carl makes a little more sense.
1:03:20
SPEAKER_02: That I think would do much better than never ending stories.
1:03:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, me too.
1:03:24
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, all right.
1:03:25
SPEAKER_03: And then our last thing, if we're going around to all the manufacturers, just for shits and giggles, Turner.
1:03:31
SPEAKER_03: You order one today, you'll get one in November of 2027.
1:03:36
SPEAKER_02: Well, it's gonna be a while.
1:03:37
SPEAKER_02: I say that.
1:03:38
SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be a while.
1:03:39
SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be a long time.
1:03:41
SPEAKER_01: Well, and that's fine, that's fine because that will give them time to uh to tune it up.
1:03:45
SPEAKER_02: You know, did I see did any of you watch any of the content from Pantastic?
1:03:50
SPEAKER_02: Like I saw they streamed the game again.
1:03:52
SPEAKER_02: So did have they updated any of the music or sound that you guys have seen?
1:03:56
SPEAKER_02: Or I haven't anything.
1:03:58
SPEAKER_01: They streamed it at Pantastic?
1:04:00
SPEAKER_02: I don't know if it was at Pantastic.
1:04:01
SPEAKER_02: It wasn't.
1:04:01
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I didn't watch anything.
1:04:03
SPEAKER_02: I it was part of his um, it was it was part of Nap's article.
1:04:06
SPEAKER_02: It might have been just an older video he pulled up, but I know they just recently streamed it again.
1:04:09
SPEAKER_02: But I want to see if any of that music's been updated or the sound effects, but um, since that was the main complaint coming out of TPF, everyone loved the game.
1:04:18
SPEAKER_02: They just felt like the music and the sound effects were kind of just weird.
1:04:22
SPEAKER_02: But some of the sound effects were actually decent.
1:04:24
SPEAKER_01: I think it was more the music, but so what I you guys have probably heard it too that uh they're trying to get Dirty Pool Jeff to do the sound.
1:04:33
SPEAKER_01: Is that is that an actuality?
1:04:34
SPEAKER_01: I should just ask him.
1:04:35
SPEAKER_02: But they didn't get him.
1:04:36
SPEAKER_02: They they used the Cleeland sound guy, you know.
1:04:39
SPEAKER_02: He's the guy I only know that maybe you guys know this guy.
1:04:42
SPEAKER_02: I only know him because he made the mod for Stranger Things.
1:04:46
SPEAKER_02: So I only knew of him because of that.
1:04:48
SPEAKER_02: So I got the code for the Stranger Things to have like the movie code and some of the music and stuff.
1:04:53
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but he's the guy that it at least that's what I saw, that he's the one they're gonna work with.
1:04:58
SPEAKER_02: But I don't know what his like credentials are outside of making like mods for pinball machines.
1:05:03
SPEAKER_03: I think Ralph's the one that started the Dirty Pool, pinball, Jeff Dotson 2.
1:05:08
SPEAKER_03: No, it was just a suggestion.
1:05:10
SPEAKER_03: I didn't I didn't say that on the live podcast and uh single run with it.
1:05:18
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it tends to happen with us.
1:05:20
SPEAKER_03: It's kind of wild, right?
1:05:21
SPEAKER_03: Tends to happen, isn't it weird?
1:05:23
SPEAKER_03: Hey, real quick, uh, before we get to the other topics, kudos to you two boys and myself for something real quick.
1:05:30
SPEAKER_03: The Pinball Roundtable Live at TPF, which is hard to do a live when Kale's not with you and uh and such, but it is the most downloaded podcast in the history of the JBS channel.
1:05:44
SPEAKER_03: It is?
1:05:45
SPEAKER_03: Holy crap.
1:05:47
SPEAKER_03: Not on the video side, on the video side, there's still George Gomez and such and others, but this is the most downloaded podcast because we we uploaded the audio and the video on Spotify.
1:05:59
unknown: Uh
1:06:01
SPEAKER_02: Jamie, I feel like I have to say this because I feel like I didn't represent Cleeland sound properly.
1:06:07
SPEAKER_02: Okay.
1:06:07
SPEAKER_02: So his name is Kevin Cleland.
1:06:10
SPEAKER_02: He's a pinball hobbyist and an audio engineer.
1:06:13
SPEAKER_02: And he's he is most known for making those unofficial sound mods for modern machines, but he does he is a sound engineering, um, he's a sound engineer as his career.
1:06:24
SPEAKER_02: So I don't want people to think that he's like some Josh Josh some like jabroni, like the guy's got credentials.
1:06:29
SPEAKER_02: Right, right, right.
1:06:30
SPEAKER_01: Um he's is this the guy who did like uh the Jurassic Park where it had like the sound and movie clips, or what has he done before?
1:06:39
SPEAKER_02: I he I know he did Stranger Things and it looks like he did um Guardians of the Galaxy.
1:06:45
SPEAKER_02: I think those are the two that he's most known for.
1:06:48
SPEAKER_02: Um but he re- he's reworked like call-outs and sound packages and stuff like that.
1:06:52
SPEAKER_02: But those are the two that I know.
1:06:54
SPEAKER_02: I don't know beyond that if he's done other ones.
1:06:56
SPEAKER_02: I think that I think Jurassic Park is someone else.
1:06:58
SPEAKER_02: I don't think it's him.
1:06:59
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think if they just get any sound professional at all, they just didn't have anybody when they developed that game.
1:07:05
SPEAKER_03: Um you know, I think that's the biggest criticism of it, right?
1:07:10
SPEAKER_03: That and the and the music is a little campy with the uh 19, you know, 1850s little music though.
1:07:18
SPEAKER_02: It just felt like that was all you were hearing, you know?
1:07:21
SPEAKER_02: Like there needs to be I he did admittedly say Turner was like, Look, man, like we were kind of rushing, so this wasn't meant to be like the end product.
1:07:29
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he said 0.7 code, so he's good time.
1:07:32
SPEAKER_03: And yeah, but the the the funny thing is, KO, is that me and Ralph cornered Dodson in the quiet room and said, uh, so are you gonna do this?
1:07:42
SPEAKER_03: Are you gonna do call-outs for Turner?
1:07:43
SPEAKER_03: And he's like, I'm open, you know, I'm an independent contractor, so yeah.
1:07:47
SPEAKER_03: Uh he wouldn't confirm nor deny.
1:07:50
SPEAKER_03: So anyway, we're just cool being cloud.
1:07:52
SPEAKER_02: I mean, he'd obviously be a great person to go to if they if they needed something.
1:07:57
SPEAKER_02: So he's killed it.
1:07:59
SPEAKER_02: That when Jamie and I were playing Dune, when Jamie and I were playing Dune at uh at TPF, because it was all update the updated code.
1:08:07
SPEAKER_02: I was like, man, the sound is like amazing.
1:08:09
SPEAKER_02: That and in Winchester too.
1:08:10
SPEAKER_02: They're it's a that because I remember Jeff saying something about the guy that it was like a friend of his or something that did the call outs for Winchester.
1:08:18
SPEAKER_02: The call outs at Winchester are so freaking good, like they're really good.
1:08:23
SPEAKER_02: Perfect.
1:08:23
SPEAKER_02: Like almost movie, like it almost feels like it's almost too good for a pinball machine.
1:08:28
SPEAKER_02: Like it feels like it's ultra professional.
1:08:31
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it is pretty solid.
1:08:34
SPEAKER_03: It's so cool.
1:08:36
SPEAKER_03: Shout out.
1:08:36
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, our friend Don from Don's Pinball Podcast is apparently a jugaloo, ladies and gentlemen.
1:08:43
SPEAKER_03: Have you seen this?
1:08:45
SPEAKER_03: Today, Don from Don's Pinball Podcast posted him on stage on a ICP concert in Sang Clown Posse.
1:08:55
SPEAKER_02: His daughter's on the stage with him, too.
1:08:57
SPEAKER_01: Shaking up, shaking up the Fago.
1:09:00
SPEAKER_03: What are they doing?
1:09:01
SPEAKER_03: What's he doing?
1:09:04
SPEAKER_01: It's all it's all making sense now.
1:09:06
SPEAKER_01: It's all coming together, right?
1:09:07
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
1:09:08
SPEAKER_03: Where who Don is and all the things.
1:09:11
SPEAKER_03: I mean, we hung out with him at TPF, but I didn't know he was a damn juggaloo.
1:09:16
SPEAKER_01: I had no idea.
1:09:17
SPEAKER_01: Have you guys ever watched like I don't know there's probably many of them, but there's a really hilarious juggalo documentary on YouTube.
1:09:24
SPEAKER_01: It's been out for years.
1:09:25
SPEAKER_01: Um, it's worth a watch.
1:09:27
SPEAKER_01: Just go look it up.
1:09:28
SPEAKER_01: I I mean I've seen it.
1:09:30
SPEAKER_02: I've never watched it.
1:09:31
SPEAKER_02: Um I would definitely feel like that'd be something I'd be fascinated by.
1:09:34
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna have to check that out.
1:09:43
SPEAKER_03: Donnie, what are you talking about?
1:09:44
SPEAKER_02: That's still no progress on the Ralph Jengis relationship front.
1:09:49
SPEAKER_02: We're working on it though.
1:09:50
SPEAKER_02: We're still working on it.
1:09:50
SPEAKER_02: We're figuring it out.
1:09:51
SPEAKER_02: No, there's no no progress reports.
1:09:55
SPEAKER_03: It's not happening over there.
1:09:56
SPEAKER_03: It's we'll figure it out.
1:09:57
SPEAKER_01: So this happened because you mixed up where he lives and how to pronounce his name.
1:10:02
SPEAKER_01: Is that it?
1:10:03
SPEAKER_03: There's more though.
1:10:04
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and I and and I kind of said something that he took the wrong way.
1:10:08
SPEAKER_02: I I said something like, like, why would like the basic guy was saying that the predator marketing wasn't good?
1:10:14
SPEAKER_02: And I just said, because I don't think this is his career, I said, Well, he's not a marketing guy.
1:10:19
SPEAKER_02: But I wasn't blaming the launch on him.
1:10:21
SPEAKER_02: I was just trying to say, like, they should have gone to a proper marketing firm to do the thing.
1:10:25
SPEAKER_02: That's all I said.
1:10:26
SPEAKER_02: It wasn't a dating at all.
1:10:27
SPEAKER_02: Is he not a marketing guy?
1:10:29
SPEAKER_02: Well, I don't think so.
1:10:30
SPEAKER_02: Well, if he is, then that he would be pissed, but I'm pretty sure he's not.
1:10:32
SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
1:10:33
SPEAKER_02: Right?
1:10:34
SPEAKER_01: Maybe he does the market.
1:10:35
SPEAKER_01: Well, like him and his him and his brother like sell machines.
1:10:38
SPEAKER_01: Maybe he does the marketing for that.
1:10:40
SPEAKER_01: And oh, don't dig it.
1:10:42
SPEAKER_01: I come on, this was all blown over.
1:10:43
SPEAKER_02: It's just it was just a big giant misunderstanding.
1:10:47
SPEAKER_02: I have no problem with anything.
1:10:49
SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm good.
1:10:50
SPEAKER_01: I'm like the dude that likes everybody.
1:10:52
SPEAKER_01: I'm not I have no problems.
1:10:54
SPEAKER_01: Jengis, if you're listening, Ralph is a really great guy, and sometimes, just like Jamie, he puts his foot in his mouth and he doesn't mean anything by it.
1:11:03
SPEAKER_01: And if if here's the problem is if you're living in this world today and Ralph is the guy that pisses you off, you're you're sitting in the wrong chair, man.
1:11:13
SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you, it's a good point.
1:11:14
SPEAKER_03: It's like it's a good point.
1:11:16
SPEAKER_03: Great point.
1:11:18
SPEAKER_03: That's a great point.
1:11:19
SPEAKER_03: Let's build bridges.
1:11:20
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's perfect.
1:11:22
SPEAKER_01: It's the Building Bridges tour.
1:11:23
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's fine.
1:11:24
SPEAKER_01: It'll be 2026, ladies and gentlemen.
1:11:25
SPEAKER_01: Get on, choo-choo.
1:11:27
SPEAKER_03: What else you got, G?
1:11:29
SPEAKER_03: Cocktail table and n disc that uh Cale noticed.
1:11:34
SPEAKER_03: Yes.
1:11:35
SPEAKER_03: What other non-traditional pinballs do we want to see in tournaments?
1:11:40
SPEAKER_01: Did did you guys watch this?
1:11:42
SPEAKER_03: No.
1:11:43
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so NDISC, uh, it never drains in Southern California.
1:11:46
SPEAKER_01: Um Jill B Jim Bel Cito's uh fantastic big tournament.
1:11:51
SPEAKER_01: It's by many, it's considered the world championships of pinball.
1:11:55
SPEAKER_01: Um it is, and I say Jim, but it takes a whole team to put that together.
1:12:00
SPEAKER_01: Uh it is uh in Jim likes to have uh interesting pinball machines in the competition, which it makes a lot of fun.
1:12:11
SPEAKER_01: Like uh for example, the year before he wanted Galactic Tank Force in there.
1:12:18
SPEAKER_01: And that's that's when um you know Steve and uh Steve uh Bowden and uh David Fix and then a programmer all got together and like got uh made new software and and modifications to the game so he could have it in this tournament.
1:12:33
SPEAKER_01: And this year he decided to have a cocktail table in it, a sit-down cocktail table.
1:12:41
SPEAKER_01: And it was great because you you have some of the best players in the world just tearing this machine up, like doing doing shit you didn't even know was possible.
1:12:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and and it was fun because some they they had a they had a chair, an office chair, uh, and that was the only chair you could use to play the game.
1:12:59
SPEAKER_01: You couldn't bring over if you like the folding chair or something else.
1:13:02
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you had to use this chair or no chair.
1:13:06
SPEAKER_01: Now, Walt Wood was the only one who say I'm no chair, I'm gonna stand while I play.
1:13:11
SPEAKER_01: So he he leaned over and played it like that.
1:13:15
SPEAKER_01: And it just so I'm thinking, like, what's next for NDISC?
1:13:19
SPEAKER_01: I mean, if if if we're here, are we gonna see like the Adams Family Values, like redemption machine?
1:13:26
SPEAKER_01: Like, like what's what's left over?
1:13:28
SPEAKER_02: You know what I think would be cool?
1:13:30
SPEAKER_02: Oh, sorry, go ahead, Jamie.
1:13:31
SPEAKER_03: I do you ever see that C hunt where you move the machine?
1:13:35
SPEAKER_03: We saw one at TPS.
1:13:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's a cool there's a couple of them that do that.
1:13:38
SPEAKER_02: Those are cool.
1:13:39
SPEAKER_02: You would nudge it with handles, nudge it with really cool.
1:13:42
SPEAKER_01: That would be cool, or hyperball.
1:13:44
SPEAKER_01: What if we put hyperball?
1:13:46
SPEAKER_01: Have you guys ever played hyperball?
1:13:47
SPEAKER_02: That's the one that didn't Steve Richie made.
1:13:50
SPEAKER_02: Steve Richie made it, right?
1:13:51
SPEAKER_02: It's the one that fires all those pinballs, right?
1:13:53
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's like a machine gun.
1:13:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that thing's pretty cool.
1:13:56
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that thing's wild.
1:13:57
SPEAKER_02: I still don't know what I'm doing when I'm playing it, but it's cool.
1:14:00
SPEAKER_01: But it's fun, it's a hell of a time, yeah.
1:14:02
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so I know one I think would be cool, and it would be an equalizer.
1:14:06
SPEAKER_02: Like if you put this game in there, I feel like none of them I I feel like because so few of them were were were made, there's no way you're gonna have someone that's like an expert at this game.
1:14:15
SPEAKER_02: That that stand-up Williams Varcon, that pinball machine that's a stand-up, I think that would be cool.
1:14:21
SPEAKER_01: That would be phenomenal.
1:14:22
SPEAKER_02: And I'm sure Rob Burke would uh donate his for the cause because for the tournament, yeah.
1:14:27
SPEAKER_01: Or the what what is that that Atari game, that virtual pinball?
1:14:31
SPEAKER_01: Have you seen that one?
1:14:32
SPEAKER_01: Like the old like 80s game.
1:14:34
SPEAKER_02: I know what you're talking about.
1:14:35
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
1:14:36
SPEAKER_02: Have they ever put a baby Pac-Man in N Disc?
1:14:38
SPEAKER_02: That would be crazy because it's half video game, half pinball.
1:14:42
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, or or let's just put an ice cold beer in there.
1:14:46
SPEAKER_02: Actually, that'd be actually that would be pretty fun to see, too.
1:14:50
SPEAKER_02: That would be great.
1:14:52
SPEAKER_02: I wonder if they would do that.
1:14:53
SPEAKER_02: What about uh what's that other crazy one?
1:14:55
SPEAKER_02: Mark has it.
1:14:56
SPEAKER_02: Uh is it oh shit.
1:14:58
SPEAKER_02: Didn't they have it at the at uh the wormhole too?
1:15:00
SPEAKER_02: Safe cracker or whatever it's called.
1:15:02
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, safe cracker.
1:15:03
SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
1:15:03
SPEAKER_01: That'd be yeah, but that's that's basically a pinball machine.
1:15:06
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but um, yeah.
1:15:08
SPEAKER_02: All right, we need that got me excited.
1:15:10
SPEAKER_02: There's some cool things.
1:15:11
SPEAKER_02: I feel like that'd be pretty fun to watch them find like a bizarre, like something bizarre like that.
1:15:16
SPEAKER_03: That's cool.
1:15:17
SPEAKER_03: We need a what are we even doing here segment.
1:15:20
SPEAKER_03: So, ladies and gentlemen, this moving on, Kaylee and I like to say, What are we even doing here?
1:15:26
SPEAKER_03: And uh so we're gonna get Glenn Wector to do some sound effects for us and some music, and then we'll click it up and we'll uh what are we even doing here?
1:15:35
SPEAKER_03: We don't have a topic for today.
1:15:38
SPEAKER_03: I couldn't think of anything of what are we even doing here.
1:15:40
SPEAKER_03: But for the next episode, we're gonna do uh what are we even doing here.
1:15:44
SPEAKER_03: You know how bro, do you even talk pinball does unnecessary mods?
1:15:48
SPEAKER_03: That's a really good segment from there.
1:15:50
SPEAKER_02: That is a good segment.
1:15:52
SPEAKER_03: It's a great segment.
1:15:53
SPEAKER_03: I'm not trying to steal from Kevin or uh Nick, but we're gonna do a what are we even doing here segment on the podcast.
1:16:00
SPEAKER_03: So, Glenn, get writing on a jingle for that as soon as possible.
1:16:03
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so we we'll have to think uh think of topics.
1:16:05
SPEAKER_03: Think of topics.
1:16:06
SPEAKER_03: Uh are you good?
1:16:07
SPEAKER_03: We've got three weeks.
1:16:08
SPEAKER_03: Have you gotten an invite to bro uh do you even talk pinball yet?
1:16:13
SPEAKER_01: Uh no, I haven't I haven't talked to anybody there.
1:16:15
SPEAKER_01: Um, but I am this week, I am doing the the pinball studio.
1:16:20
SPEAKER_01: Oh, nice.
1:16:21
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Sterling.
1:16:23
SPEAKER_03: Sterling's a young cat.
1:16:24
SPEAKER_03: You don't realize how young he is until you meet him.
1:16:27
SPEAKER_01: Okay, I can't wait.
1:16:28
SPEAKER_03: He's a he's a cool dude.
1:16:29
SPEAKER_03: I really enjoyed hanging out.
1:16:31
SPEAKER_01: We're gonna have a blast, you know, we because we we grew up in the same area and you know, the the the grand deep south of the great American uh country of America.
1:16:43
SPEAKER_01: Um the uh and we're in we're into a lot of the same cool stuff, you know, same kind of music.
1:16:47
SPEAKER_01: And uh I used to tour with a lot of the bands he likes.
1:16:50
SPEAKER_01: I think it's gonna be a fun time.
1:16:51
SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's cool.
1:16:52
SPEAKER_03: Oh, that'll be fun.
1:16:53
SPEAKER_03: We do that.
1:16:54
SPEAKER_03: Look forward to that on the Pinball Studio wherever you can download those podcasts.
1:17:00
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
1:17:00
SPEAKER_03: And uh you just you're recording this week.
1:17:04
SPEAKER_01: We're recording this week, so I don't know when it when it'll be out, but we're we're gonna hang out and chat a little bit.
1:17:10
SPEAKER_03: And you just launched an uh the newest electric bat with January and February earnings.
1:17:15
SPEAKER_03: Am I correct on that?
1:17:18
SPEAKER_03: No, it was February March.
1:17:21
SPEAKER_03: February, March.
1:17:22
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
1:17:22
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, which was an excellent episode.
1:17:24
SPEAKER_03: And then Ralph just dropped a uh episode today.
1:17:29
SPEAKER_01: The call-in show.
1:17:30
SPEAKER_02: Beetlejuice versus Pokemon.
1:17:32
SPEAKER_02: No, the call-in show was the last one.
1:17:34
SPEAKER_02: This one's Beetlejuice versus Pokemon.
1:17:36
SPEAKER_01: But it had call-in-the-screen.
1:17:37
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I did have some call-ins I didn't.
1:17:38
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you did call-in.
1:17:39
SPEAKER_01: When are you gonna do a live call-in show?
1:17:42
SPEAKER_02: Uh, I gotta figure out how to do that because right now they just leave voicemails.
1:17:47
SPEAKER_02: It's like a service I pay for, and they can just leave a voicemail.
1:17:50
SPEAKER_02: Right.
1:17:50
SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, I gotta figure that out because I do think that'd be fun.
1:17:53
SPEAKER_02: Instead of having like actual uh like texting, it would be cool to do it.
1:17:58
SPEAKER_02: Like a radio show.
1:17:59
SPEAKER_02: That would be fun.
1:18:00
SPEAKER_02: I would love to do that.
1:18:01
SPEAKER_01: Because yeah, because you have you can have a conversation with somebody.
1:18:04
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I would love that.
1:18:05
SPEAKER_02: And I have my phone handle, Mike, so I can use it, you know.
1:18:08
SPEAKER_01: And I can I don't know if I can do this remotely, but I'll screen the calls because you have to have a call screener.
1:18:13
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know.
1:18:14
SPEAKER_02: That's the thing.
1:18:14
SPEAKER_02: You know, I'm gonna figure this out.
1:18:16
SPEAKER_02: I really like that idea though.
1:18:17
SPEAKER_02: That would be fun.
1:18:18
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm calling up and bop baba booy.
1:18:20
SPEAKER_03: I'm baba booing your ass off.
1:18:23
SPEAKER_02: I mean, it would be really fun because you know you're gonna get some crazy shit that happens during during a show like that.
1:18:28
SPEAKER_03: I think you gotta do it.
1:18:29
SPEAKER_03: Kale and I were talking about it before the podcast of like this is a no-brainer for you.
1:18:34
SPEAKER_02: All right, I'll try.
1:18:35
SPEAKER_02: I'll I'll I'll look into it because that's a cool idea.
1:18:40
SPEAKER_02: Well, I don't I think you can because I believe there's with that I forget what it's called.
1:18:45
SPEAKER_02: I think there's like a service you can pay for, but you have to pay for it.
1:18:49
SPEAKER_02: I think there's like a they'll get a number they can call.
1:18:51
SPEAKER_02: I'm pretty sure.
1:18:52
SPEAKER_02: Like it's a voice over IP thing.
1:18:53
SPEAKER_02: I think I'm pretty sure.
1:18:56
SPEAKER_02: I gotta play with that.
1:18:56
SPEAKER_02: Actually, Sterling.
1:18:58
SPEAKER_02: It has to be a way.
1:18:59
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'll look into it.
1:19:00
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna make a note on that.
1:19:00
SPEAKER_02: I gotta make I gotta make that happen.
1:19:02
SPEAKER_03: All right, counted your notes.
1:19:05
SPEAKER_03: All right, I think that's it, ladies and gentlemen.
1:19:07
SPEAKER_03: That and we wanted to talk one more thing about the Death Star uh fix.
1:19:11
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
1:19:11
SPEAKER_01: This is my segment.
1:19:13
SPEAKER_01: Um Take Care of Your Machines.
1:19:16
SPEAKER_01: Uh man, I was so I was like uh I can't remember what happened.
1:19:20
SPEAKER_01: I was working on Star Wars.
1:19:21
SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, you know how the ball gets caught up in the the swirly bowl?
1:19:25
SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it happens, yeah, and it just rocks back and forth.
1:19:28
SPEAKER_01: And so I was messing, I was messing with that to fix that.
1:19:32
SPEAKER_01: And then this is the funniest part.
1:19:35
SPEAKER_01: Ray Day got in touch with me, the same guy that was trolling Ralph, he he got in touch with me, and he sent me a video of my machine and said, You need to do something about this.
1:19:50
SPEAKER_01: So somebody was playing at the bat and sent Ray Day the video.
1:19:54
SPEAKER_01: It was like, what's up with this Star Wars doing this?
1:19:57
SPEAKER_01: And then Ray Day got in touch with me and said, Hey, you need you need to take care of this.
1:20:01
SPEAKER_01: Uh so I did, but then I was like, as I had the uh play field pulled out, the um the front of the Death Star is smashed in.
1:20:12
SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, whoa, what happened?
1:20:14
SPEAKER_02: So like when it's closed, like the door part is smashed in?
1:20:18
SPEAKER_01: But the door's fine.
1:20:19
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so like you have the door that drops, right?
1:20:22
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:20:23
SPEAKER_01: But I mean, it's basically a bash toy.
1:20:25
SPEAKER_01: Once that door is open, you know, it's the ball's popping up and smacking the lip of the Death Star.
1:20:32
SPEAKER_01: And that's just some type of like resin plastic, I don't know what it is, but it is it's thin.
1:20:37
SPEAKER_01: And with a ball nail when you're nailing it at high velocities with a steel ball bearing, it it is 100% gonna break.
1:20:45
SPEAKER_01: So uh public service announcement, reinf go ahead and reinforce that now.
1:20:51
SPEAKER_01: I don't I don't maybe with like some gorilla tape or something, but it is a very thin piece of plastic that is 100% gonna snap.
1:21:00
SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, and ours is already snapped.
1:21:02
SPEAKER_01: I I just put some tape in the back to hold to keep it on there, but uh just uh PSA for all you people with uh uh Fall of the Empire.
1:21:12
SPEAKER_03: And it's still earning at the bat?
1:21:14
SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's crushing it, yeah.
1:21:16
SPEAKER_03: That's crazy.
1:21:17
SPEAKER_03: Not earning anything, Eureka Heights.
1:21:19
SPEAKER_01: Isn't that wild?
1:21:21
SPEAKER_01: Isn't that crazy?
1:21:22
SPEAKER_01: That surprises me though.
1:21:24
SPEAKER_01: We have an amazing, amazing group of players and people that love I I think we really have something unique because I've heard from other operators, they're like, We're not because we can just we can throw a brand new stern on the floor and it's it's paid off you know, in way less than a year.
1:21:48
SPEAKER_01: Like people love the new games and they tear it up and they want to learn them, and you know, especially as as uh software updates are they gonna they want to revisit it with each software update, and and Ray Day's been crushing it on uh Fall of the Empire.
1:22:01
SPEAKER_01: Um, I think it's really a unique thing because uh Jamie, I'm hearing the same thing from other operators.
1:22:06
SPEAKER_01: They they don't have that ability to just throw a brand new game on on the floor and it's just all of a sudden on fire.
1:22:14
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that one just is not printing money.
1:22:16
SPEAKER_03: It's not what Ralph, right?
1:22:18
SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's just not doing well.
1:22:20
SPEAKER_02: I feel like too, you guys have a unique thing where there's lots of like fandoms that come into like they like different things that they're like, there's like a I don't know, like everyone there is kind of feels like I could bring up almost any like nerdy thing, and like someone in that room is gonna be really into it.
1:22:37
SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
1:22:38
SPEAKER_02: Like you know what I mean?
1:22:39
SPEAKER_02: Like they're into like they kind of crawl out into all the little like subculture type things, so it I that's that's also unique, too.
1:22:46
SPEAKER_02: I feel like to the bat major.
1:22:47
SPEAKER_01: That's a good point.
1:22:48
SPEAKER_01: And I didn't think about that.
1:22:49
SPEAKER_01: Like the the group is so diverse and the group is so large, you know.
1:22:53
SPEAKER_01: For for that many people, you know, a few hundred people coming in, and yeah, you're gonna there somebody is gonna attach to some game, some IP.
1:23:04
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
1:23:06
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's just not earned and then I play it really actually I play it a lot, uh, but I play it right when I get there.
1:23:15
SPEAKER_03: I find that that game is a really good game to warm up on because it's so GD brutal that if you can put up 250, 350 million on it, you're in good shape the rest of the night.
1:23:31
SPEAKER_03: You know, that's how I that's how I view my night starting.
1:23:35
SPEAKER_03: I just go to Fall the Empire and let's see what I can if if I can nudge and my reactions are gonna be strong tonight because that game just kicks my ass.
1:23:44
SPEAKER_02: Do you still have your insider up?
1:23:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
1:23:47
SPEAKER_02: I'd be curious to see how you and I stack up on on Fall the Empire since we always do such a competitive.
1:23:53
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, let me see.
1:23:54
SPEAKER_01: So run run it through, Jamie.
1:23:55
SPEAKER_01: What uh first of all, I have to wait for their server.
1:23:58
SPEAKER_03: Wait for their server.
1:23:59
SPEAKER_03: It's out of Bangladesh, so it's gonna take time.
1:24:02
SPEAKER_01: All right, so games games.
1:24:05
SPEAKER_01: Okay, I okay.
1:24:07
SPEAKER_01: All right, uh like last, I'll go first, like I did last time.
1:24:10
SPEAKER_02: So we do games played first?
1:24:12
SPEAKER_03: Okay.
1:24:13
SPEAKER_03: 53.
1:24:14
SPEAKER_03: Oof.
1:24:15
SPEAKER_02: 99 259.
1:24:20
SPEAKER_02: Holy crap.
1:24:22
SPEAKER_02: I better be better than you at this, Jamie.
1:24:24
SPEAKER_02: Not gonna beat me on the high score.
1:24:26
SPEAKER_01: You know one thing, Jamie.
1:24:27
SPEAKER_01: You know, you know, one thing I've noticed.
1:24:29
SPEAKER_01: You know how every time we try to record or do something, get together, Ralph's always busy.
1:24:34
SPEAKER_01: He's playing pinball, he's playing fucking pinball.
1:24:38
SPEAKER_01: He's playing pinball.
1:24:39
SPEAKER_03: You had a zoom call that ran late tonight.
1:24:43
SPEAKER_03: Fall of the Empire.
1:24:45
SPEAKER_03: High score.
1:24:46
SPEAKER_03: Uh Kale, start us off.
1:24:49
SPEAKER_01: 764 million and some change.
1:24:52
SPEAKER_01: Damn, that's pretty good.
1:24:54
SPEAKER_03: 939 million.
1:24:57
SPEAKER_01: Damn, dude.
1:24:58
SPEAKER_01: You couldn't just do it a little bit longer and get that Billy.
1:25:02
SPEAKER_03: I couldn't.
1:25:02
SPEAKER_03: I choked.
1:25:03
SPEAKER_03: I had an extra ball too, and I that's called fatigue.
1:25:05
SPEAKER_02: So I lose this one.
1:25:06
SPEAKER_02: I'm tired.
1:25:08
SPEAKER_02: I'm 687 million.
1:25:10
SPEAKER_02: So I'm lower than you guys on that one.
1:25:12
SPEAKER_03: And then our average score.
1:25:13
SPEAKER_03: Give me your average, Kale.
1:25:14
SPEAKER_01: What 122?
1:25:16
SPEAKER_01: Ooh, he does very well.
1:25:18
SPEAKER_03: He's uh 110.
1:25:20
SPEAKER_03: Oh wow, we're close.
1:25:21
SPEAKER_03: 108.
1:25:22
SPEAKER_03: Oof.
1:25:24
SPEAKER_03: So uh that's a good average score, Kale.
1:25:26
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's a really good average score.
1:25:28
SPEAKER_03: But he only played it 53 times.
1:25:29
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, only played 53.
1:25:30
SPEAKER_01: I'm I make a count, bro.
1:25:35
SPEAKER_03: Uh, do this with your friends, ladies and gentlemen.
1:25:37
SPEAKER_03: Put it on the comments.
1:25:38
SPEAKER_03: Tell us what your uh your stats are on Pokemon and uh Fall of the Empire.
1:25:43
SPEAKER_03: But uh it it it is the new code is really great.
1:25:47
SPEAKER_03: Shout out to Ray Day.
1:25:48
SPEAKER_03: I finally got to the light speeder, and it is seriously some fun.
1:25:52
SPEAKER_02: Is it cool?
1:25:53
SPEAKER_02: I haven't gotten to it yet, man.
1:25:54
SPEAKER_02: I gotta get to it.
1:25:55
SPEAKER_02: It's pretty cool.
1:25:56
SPEAKER_02: It's fun.
1:25:57
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna play.
1:25:57
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna play it tonight, I think.
1:25:59
SPEAKER_02: It's hard.
1:25:59
SPEAKER_02: I like the code is freaking good on that game, though.
1:26:01
SPEAKER_02: Ray Day really the code is really freaking good.
1:26:06
SPEAKER_03: But eye ballsaver on the premium is I actually do prefer the pro because it just works every time.
1:26:14
SPEAKER_03: Work, yeah.
1:26:15
SPEAKER_03: Um they should have used the you're totally right in your podcast where they just should have used the Beetlejuice type.
1:26:22
SPEAKER_03: It should have just been basic.
1:26:23
SPEAKER_03: It's I don't need it to do it the all-conference.
1:26:26
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, nobody needed that.
1:26:27
SPEAKER_02: No, it could just do it cool, like it can hold it and then throw it.
1:26:30
SPEAKER_02: That's fine.
1:26:31
SPEAKER_02: You can be fancy, like maybe sometimes it does that, and sometimes it throws it.
1:26:35
SPEAKER_02: That would have been fine, but it should have just been you press it and that's it.
1:26:37
SPEAKER_02: Like that's you shouldn't have to do all that other shit.
1:26:39
SPEAKER_02: Like you have to qualify it, but lesson learned.
1:26:43
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I'm re I'm really happy we don't have the premium because you could you imagine being in a tournament, and it's like you don't know whether that thing worked properly or not, and people are gonna be complaining.
1:26:54
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and they and they kind of marketed it as like, oh, it it's cool because you have to you you it's maybe not gonna work most of the time, you know what I mean?
1:27:02
SPEAKER_02: Because it's right, because when it throws it, sometimes it doesn't throw it where you want it.
1:27:06
SPEAKER_01: It's just it's just like when Luke was trying to learn how to use the force.
1:27:10
SPEAKER_02: Remember, he kept fucking up, and that's probably what they were trying to do there, I think.
1:27:14
SPEAKER_02: Maybe.
1:27:14
SPEAKER_03: But I mean, you know, in Return of the Jedi, he's pretty damn good, you know.
1:27:18
SPEAKER_01: It's called theme immersion, guys.
1:27:21
SPEAKER_03: Hey, real quick, let's end in this.
1:27:22
SPEAKER_03: What's with our boy Canada crapping on tournament players?
1:27:25
SPEAKER_03: We're all three of us are tournament players.
1:27:27
SPEAKER_03: We don't wear cargo pair shorts and these things that he says.
1:27:30
SPEAKER_03: What's that about?
1:27:31
SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
1:27:32
SPEAKER_02: What I have nothing against people who wear cargo shorts.
1:27:37
SPEAKER_02: I have friends that wear cargo shorts.
1:27:38
SPEAKER_03: Canada on his Saturday morning spectacular was crapping on.
1:27:42
SPEAKER_03: He's like, if you play in tournaments, save your ten dollars, forget the twenty dollar trans light, go out and enjoy the sun.
1:27:50
SPEAKER_03: Stop wearing cargo pants.
1:27:52
SPEAKER_03: And I'm just telling you, I don't wear cargo pants and I like winning twenty dollar trans lights.
1:27:56
SPEAKER_03: It's fun.
1:27:57
SPEAKER_01: Well, I tell you, and I'm not trying to defend our friend Chris.
1:28:00
SPEAKER_01: uh but he he he hasn't been to an electric bat party man no cu the the because you get you have to think about the probably the last tournament he went to he caused a scene and then threw a drink in somebody's face and so in his mind he still thinks they're like that they're a bunch of sweats that are like taking it too seriously he needs to get out of the house and and come to the electric bad arcade to see what a fun uh pinball tournament's all about all right that's our challenge to you Canada get out of can I can I share something that's really funny that he did like he won't care because he did it but it's really funny what he did I just think this is funny because I think he didn't didn't realize what he did.
1:28:44
SPEAKER_02: I gotta find it because it's pretty funny.
1:28:46
SPEAKER_02: So like he so in his free show he like shits all over you know the whole time he shit all over the tournament players right so for for like five minutes straight he's like going off and and you know he's doing it how he would do it.
1:29:01
SPEAKER_02: And then like after he shits all over everyone he's like you know what man there's this guy Travis I saw him on on YouTube and his tutorial is the reason why I was able to play Pokemon so well and I was like I don't even think he realizes that he's shitting over you know what I mean like the whole thing just made me laugh and then someone left a comment that said it's just funny.
1:29:24
SPEAKER_02: I really I particularly like the part where you trashed and railed against tournament players for five straight minutes and then immediately thanked Travis Murray strategy video.
1:29:34
SPEAKER_02: Travis a well known and respected tournament player who makes tournament strategy videos and has a YouTube channel talking about tournaments.
1:29:40
SPEAKER_02: Real next level Andy Kaufman performance level shit right there that sequence blew my fucking mind that is awesome that comment is awesome.
1:29:52
SPEAKER_03: I was laughing my ass off at that no one liked it though I was like that's such a great comment oh I need to go like it yeah oh my gosh that was great Travis does the best uh two tutorials yeah absolutely he's the reason why I know how to play Jaws what's his channel on YouTube it's like the pinball company company yeah yeah go check it out people all right boys and girls that's all she wrote thank you guys so much another great edition of the pinball round table 90 minutes not bad you can always pause ladies and gentlemen you can always pause and come back but uh anything last words Ralph do you think we'll we will we will we eh we will why can I say that will we have your presence here in the summer so we can do a redo of our uh three hour spectacular that we did last time yeah it's not a question I'm coming this summer okay cool there's not I got nothing to add I'm coming this summer there's no we're doing it yeah that'd be fine because we had a good time be August and it'll be hot as shit but who cares and I'll run an Airbnb and we'll hang out the three of us based on the Chewies again I I really if you're gonna go to the bat ladies and gentlemen again I think you gotta come on a Saturday and then do the Chewy's at the end of the month and then the Tuesday event on make that happen.
1:31:09
SPEAKER_02: We probably should take user viewer feedback though on the angle of the camera that's my bad it was definitely looking straight into crotch cam.
1:31:17
SPEAKER_03: We'll just we'll fix that for this next go around no fine no question we'll make that happen.
1:31:22
