Transcript
- 0:25Hi, good afternoon. Welcome Miller and Condon
- 0:28getting our week started on the Iowa Sports Radio network.
- 0:31Trent Condon and Ken Miller for the next couple of hours to talk
- 0:34sports with you. Thank you for starting your
- 0:36afternoon with us. If you're listening on Des
- 0:38Moines sports station one O 6.3 KX&O on the I heart app
- 0:42anywhere, anytime or on the affiliates located throughout
- 0:45the state of Iowa. Grateful that you're here with
- 0:48us. Here's what we've got coming up.
- 0:49Busy program today. We're going to talk Iowa and
- 0:51Iowa State to get things going. Scott Dockerman's more than
- 0:55Iowa. Scott covers college football
- 0:57for the athletic. But we will cover a lot of
- 1:00ground with Doc Look forward to catching up on the couple of the
- 1:03outstanding issues that maybe need a little clarity when it
- 1:06comes to college football. Doc will be here at 1225 Bill
- 1:09Seals from cyclonereport.com. He'll join us at 12:45.
- 1:14Iowa State lost a running back already, Jaden Jackson.
- 1:18He decided to no longer a right for the program and even though
- 1:22there is no another opening of the transfer portal, Jaden
- 1:26Jackson made official this morning according to numerous
- 1:29cyclone sites that he is leaving Iowa State.
- 1:32So the running back room just got a well, there's a chair
- 1:36empty, another chair empty. So we'll talk to Bill Seals
- 1:39about that coming up. And and Cyclone fans are pissed
- 1:42off at Bill for reporting what the coach said, which is just
- 1:45unfathomable to me. The Jaden Jackson Bill.
- 1:49Bill reports what Coach Rogers said, and he's the villain and,
- 1:56well, there's some idiot out there on.
- 1:57Twitter. Don't even amplify it.
- 1:59Don't even amplify that Who? Thinks Bill's press pass should
- 2:01be taken away from reporting what was said.
- 2:04What an idiot. Yeah, I got it right.
- 2:06I got a call. He's just a fool.
- 2:08I'm going to find out and give him the.
- 2:11Now he's got a bad name, so I won't.
- 2:14But nonetheless, just come on. This is what's wrong with Iowa
- 2:16State. It truly is.
- 2:17This fan base just gets weaker and weaker and weaker.
- 2:21They do go away. Anyways it's in good mood till I
- 2:27saw that Bill steals the villain.
- 2:28Please yes. And it's not that he even came
- 2:32up with a column. This guy stinks.
- 2:34This guy should leave. That's not what this was, right?
- 2:37If you had that, I could understand some fan resentment.
- 2:40Absolutely. He reported what the coach said
- 2:44verbatim. Verbatim.
- 2:46He had a direct quote, yes. Oh my God.
- 2:50Anyways, have fun with that one over at you know where.
- 2:55But hour number two, Matt Snyder will join the program.
- 2:58He talks baseball, covers baseball, CBSSports.com.
- 3:01Look forward to catching up with Bill, with Bill, with Matt to
- 3:06kick off hour number two. And then Joe Donald, the voice
- 3:08of the Minnesota Wild will join us.
- 3:10What a hockey game last night. What a crazy game 96. 3 Nothing.
- 3:15I had to text you during it. I was just, I mean, do they both
- 3:19change their goalies? At this point?
- 3:21I have to think the Wild have to make the move.
- 3:23The wall of Saint Paul was not good yesterday and Gustafson had
- 3:28more starts during the regular season, so he gave up eight.
- 3:31One was an empty netter. Look, this can be a hell of a
- 3:34series. That's a hell of a series.
- 3:35There's two best teams playing. Two best teams still live in my
- 3:38opinion, Colorado and Minnesota, and I hope they entertain us
- 3:42like they certainly did last night if you like scoring, and
- 3:45we certainly had plenty of that after watching the did you see
- 3:49any of Tampa Bay, Montreal games?
- 3:51We watched most of the third period.
- 3:54Well, let me set it up because I've never seen anything like
- 3:56this. Montreal wins the game 21.
- 3:59Do you know how many shots they had in the second period, Trent?
- 4:01In the second period, I know they had nine overall for the
- 4:04game, they had none. They went in the second period.
- 4:08They get a shot at goal. They get a shot in goal, they
- 4:10had four in the third period, four shots in the final 40
- 4:13minutes and they won the hockey game.
- 4:15Both goals cheap. I mean, totally cheap.
- 4:18One went off, you know, somebody in front of the net.
- 4:20The other one was scored by a guy behind the net.
- 4:24But the count and and Montreal moves on and Tampa goes home.
- 4:29But that was unbelievably entertaining Puck last night,
- 4:33fun night, fun night of hockey. Basketball was me yesterday.
- 4:37What's what's your take so far in the NBA's first round?
- 4:39It's. Kind of stunk it has you know
- 4:41and those I. Wanted it to be good.
- 4:43The opening round games, the play in games, those were good.
- 4:46We we had some entertainment. The.
- 4:48Three out of the four. Games one and two, for the most
- 4:51part, that kind of compelling, interesting, there was a whole
- 4:54lot there. And then after that it has just
- 4:57been blowout after blowout. The entertainment level has
- 5:01dissipated in a big time way. It's kind of head scratching,
- 5:04right, how suddenly it can just be like we got two game sevens
- 5:08and I'll be honest, yesterday I watched a lot of the Boston
- 5:11Philly game on Saturday night, but that was it.
- 5:13I I just wasn't into it. I'd rather watch golf, you know,
- 5:16Kim Young was run away with I just.
- 5:18Did you bet him? No, I did not.
- 5:20No, I I didn't have much over the weekend.
- 5:22It was a rough weekend, was it? Oh yeah, absolutely.
- 5:24But it was just one of those days that the NBA as a whole, I
- 5:30need the Timberwolves back too. I mean, selfishly, that will
- 5:32definitely help and that'll ramp things up for me.
- 5:35And working his way back. So he's now questionable.
- 5:38He was doubtful, but he's been upgraded to questionable.
- 5:41What does that mean? Well, and I think they had to
- 5:43upgrade him because he was going through practice and I think
- 5:46there was something, the way that I was reading it is the way
- 5:49that he was practicing. I don't know if that means going
- 5:52five on five or whatever it is during practice.
- 5:55What he was doing in practice made them.
- 5:57They had to do that. I still don't think he goes
- 6:00tonight. I don't think he does.
- 6:01Either and when you have a day off still in between, things are
- 6:05stretched out a little bit more. Go on the caution, see if you
- 6:08can steal one. If not all right, go into game
- 6:11two. Then obviously the pressure
- 6:14ratchets it up if if that's the case.
- 6:15But still, I think that's probably the more prudent thing.
- 6:18I still at this point would be surprised but it's also Anthony
- 6:20Edwards and that dude is tough and he has played through
- 6:23injuries before so I will not be shocked if he makes his.
- 6:26What does he mean to the point spread if he plays?
- 6:29If he plays he's not 100% so you have to factor that in.
- 6:32I mean the dudes questionable. 'Cause it was 12 1/2 in the
- 6:36opener, it's down to 11 1/2 in the couple spots here today.
- 6:40That's what's at now. 9 1/2, maybe couple more points because
- 6:43you also don't know what he's going to look like.
- 6:45You can't just say, well he you know, he's a 5 point player and
- 6:48you're not going to do that with a guy coming off injury.
- 6:50So I don't recall watching the Spurs and the T Wolves play this
- 6:54year and I'm going to hopefully that you did.
- 6:56What did Gobert do against Wimby?
- 6:58We know how he plays against Joker.
- 7:00When those two, you know, have gone up against each other.
- 7:02Gobert has been unbelievable. Does he have that kind of same
- 7:06effect on Weimenjana that he has on on the Joker or I mean, he's
- 7:11so Weimenjana is such he's such a unique player, right?
- 7:14I'm not sure. I know that, you know, we never
- 7:17see anything like him, but he's kind of like you never seen
- 7:20anything like him. So the T Wolves won two games
- 7:23against. Him.
- 7:23They did. Yeah, I knew that part.
- 7:25They went two in one. Edwards, let's see, had a 55
- 7:29point performance. That'll be good.
- 7:32He was. Wimpaniana was not there for the
- 7:34November 30th game. That was the first game of the
- 7:36season between the two. So don't have the box scores
- 7:39that I can click on quickly. Well, maybe I can here.
- 7:42Yeah, I want to know what Gobert was able to do to Wimbignano.
- 7:44Was he able to limit him at all like he did to the Joker?
- 7:47You know, there's this website, Stepmuse that I go from time to
- 7:51time and something that I use to look up like teams against left
- 7:54handers. I use it a lot for baseball and
- 7:55things like that, but there are times you get absolutely lost in
- 7:58this thing. So let's see if I can pop
- 7:59anything up. Did they get the actual box
- 8:01score for the game? There we go Spurs all right, so
- 8:05this was the first game when there was no wembe all right, so
- 8:08that's not going to do us any good Game 210-4103 the T Wolves
- 8:13pull that one out in that one when banana had 29 points on 8
- 8:18of 18 shooting 3 and 9 from 3. How many minutes did go bear
- 8:21play? Go bear in that one.
- 8:23Over on the Timberwolves side, he played 29 minutes, 14
- 8:28rebounds. Now they are -14 when he was on
- 8:31the floor, just what, a four from the floor.
- 8:32But it's about his defense and you can't get a whole lot from a
- 8:36box score in that one. Then the final meeting between
- 8:38the two teams, Spurs won it by three, 126 to 123.
- 8:43When be in that one, he was held to just 39.
- 8:48Limited him to 3930. 99 and 3 for Wembe in that match up and
- 8:53let's see Go Bear, but Go Bear did not play in that game.
- 8:57Very fishy. The plot thickens a little.
- 8:59Bit. So maybe those props that I'm
- 9:02guessing you'll get to later on in the program that what, 10
- 9:05minutes or so before 2:00, maybe you'll have something in there
- 9:08from that. Well, he's going to play
- 9:10tonight. I doubt, like you say, I doubt
- 9:11that Ants going to play in the basketball game.
- 9:14By the way, if you like, if you're a Cubs fan or if you want
- 9:17to bet this Reds Cubs game tonight before the first pitch,
- 9:20it's been moved up 1/2 hour 6/10.
- 9:22His first pitch at Wrigley Field tonight.
- 9:25And the Reds are starting a kid that they just called up,
- 9:27apparently. Are they?
- 9:28Yeah, He was one of their top prospects in their organization.
- 9:33They got a ton of them. Yeah, well, when you, you know,
- 9:35when you're that bad Chase Penny.
- 9:39Oh yeah, I remember that name. Do you really?
- 9:41Yeah, I I just remember maybe as a draft pick or just seeing him
- 9:44on a list or something like that.
- 9:45But yeah, it's do I know anything more else than his
- 9:48name? No, but I remember seeing that
- 9:50name at some point, maybe a guy that they anticipated was gonna
- 9:53get called up. Speaking of the Reds Saturday,
- 9:56the seven consecutive walks. Did you see this?
- 9:59I was busy Saturday. I'll get to that in a.
- 10:01Second. Oh yes, you were.
- 10:02Yeah. So they get swept by the
- 10:03pirates, but the middle game they lose 17 seven.
- 10:07They they had louder who's been really good, another one of
- 10:11their young arms that they're really excited about.
- 10:13He's been outstanding. He was dreadful.
- 10:15He finishes with just four walks, but then a reliever comes
- 10:19in. He walks another three after
- 10:20that and of course all those runs get charged till louder.
- 10:23He finished with eight runs allowed in that one.
- 10:26I can't remember ever seeing 7 consecutive.
- 10:29No, I can't even. I see plenty of times that
- 10:32softball Tennessee, right? Yeah, yeah, right.
- 10:35You can see that from time to time.
- 10:36Not in Major League Baseball where you have that component.
- 10:40And another note from over the weekend that I caught in
- 10:42baseball ABS strikes again. There was another guy that just
- 10:45get middle. Middle really taps ahead.
- 10:48And got embarrassed, like everybody not in the ballpark
- 10:51and watching at home knows how bad he was.
- 10:54The gesture is the one that we saw.
- 10:55Yeah, yeah, yeah. That what he, like I mentioned,
- 10:58he was kind of crouching down and you could see it.
- 11:00This guy just look boom right down the middle.
- 11:03Tapped his head. Yeah, I still love the ABS
- 11:06though. I do too.
- 11:07I do too. It's improved the game
- 11:09tremendously and it's a great it kind of adds to the fan
- 11:12experience. OK, two more baseball stories.
- 11:13I want to get to. First of all, John Sterling,
- 11:15voice of the Yankees, The Yankees win.
- 11:18That's the good dude I'm talking about.
- 11:20He passed away today, I think 86 or 87.
- 11:23One of the most well known radio Brock A did the Yankees just a
- 11:28just a an icon when it came to calling games.
- 11:31And he had his own unique way, especially at the end of the
- 11:34game or when one of the Yankees hit a home run.
- 11:37You know, he would add add a little something to it.
- 11:39I think it came from his background in theatre.
- 11:41But he and Susie Waldman called the called the Yankees forever.
- 11:45He'd retired what, two years ago?
- 11:47And I remember it was such a a or I remember him retiring, but
- 11:51BI remember the blowback that followed it because after I
- 11:55don't know how many years he was the radio voice of the Yankees,
- 11:57but he was there decades. The Yankees bought him a big
- 12:00screen TV. You know they went to Costco and
- 12:02spent 300. Bucks, right?
- 12:03Yeah. I mean, come on.
- 12:04Yeah, exactly. There ain't got to be something.
- 12:06Don't bother. Even do something funny like a
- 12:08rocking chair. You know anything.
- 12:09A grandfather clock. Yeah, do something.
- 12:12Thanks for the effort. Here's a $300 TV.
- 12:15What the Yankees? And by the way, you pick it up
- 12:17at the loading dock, we're not even going to deliver it.
- 12:20You got to get it home somehow on your own on the train or
- 12:22whatever. Just just stupid.
- 12:25But but a great, great, great career.
- 12:27And I'm sure you'll be hearing tributes to him, you know,
- 12:29throughout the day. The other story when it comes to
- 12:32baseball and, and it's not like you and I have been avoiding.
- 12:35We've talked about the Cardinals.
- 12:37Yes. But maybe we need to talk about
- 12:39this Cardinals as as more of a, you know, prove it and you know,
- 12:43let's talk in May or let's get them Trent.
- 12:45They're not bad. They're not bad.
- 12:48There's six games above 500 for crying out loud, and we're in
- 12:51May. The young guns, the young guys
- 12:53coming up where he felt, we'll see, you know, just how they
- 12:57guys like Weatherholt and Burleson.
- 12:58Obviously what we've seen in the huge, huge Mason winds been up
- 13:01for a while, but it's starting to click maybe a.
- 13:04Little bit they took two or three from the Dodgers.
- 13:06What's their Dodgers? But it's 20 and 14 run
- 13:10differential. Now diving deeper into them,
- 13:13they're swinging the bats. 9th in baseball and runs scored.
- 13:16That's good. But 15th in hits, 15 on base
- 13:19percentage, 4th in home runs. That's the shots.
- 13:24On. The other side though, this is
- 13:27the pitching staff. 22nd runs allowed, 26 in hits allowed, 26
- 13:32in batting average against. 24th in ERA, 30th in strikeouts per
- 13:36night. Yeah, it doesn't say I'm
- 13:37sustainable because of those numbers.
- 13:39Those. That's the part of it that yeah,
- 13:41I like what they're doing there when we talked to Brian Walton
- 13:44and yeah, we got to get. I think Thursday was coming on.
- 13:47We got to see if there's any arms that can help for this
- 13:50year, if there's anything, what if they?
- 13:52Stick around, Trent. And here's the thing.
- 13:54They cut it down. It's a rebuild.
- 13:57Well, it is, but don't if if you're sticking around.
- 14:00I mean, we've seen teams that have been close before and trade
- 14:02guys off. You know what upsets the fan
- 14:05base. But maybe at the end of the day,
- 14:06it might be the right move to do.
- 14:07I don't know. It's a long way to go, I agree.
- 14:10I agree and it's a good division and the Cubs aren't going
- 14:13anywhere. They're playing exceptional
- 14:14baseball. This Nico Horner story, my good
- 14:16God, he is so good with the glove in his hand and actually
- 14:20he's pretty good all around ball player.
- 14:22But at second base, the play he made yesterday when he was going
- 14:26to cover second base when the base runner trying to steal and
- 14:30and then he realizes that the balls popped up, makes it over
- 14:34the shoulder catch twists, contorts his body and throws it
- 14:37to 1st for the double play. What a play by Nico Horne.
- 14:40You know, that love about maybe as much as anything, when he
- 14:43makes one of those plays, he's smiling coming off the field,
- 14:46right? He's he's grinning from ear to
- 14:48ear That, you know, that was that was pretty good.
- 14:51I'm a I'm I'm a fan. I'm a fan of Nico Horner, to say
- 14:54the very least. All right, let's go do the let's
- 14:56do the, the Kentucky Derby. By the way, I don't think I've
- 15:01ever seen Prairie Meadows as full as there was on Saturday.
- 15:04It was absolutely packed. That's awesome.
- 15:07It was it were really and truly was.
- 15:09Maybe the coolest part, at least for me, is I'm, you know,
- 15:12walking through out of the corner of my eye, I saw Winnipeg
- 15:15Jets logo. What?
- 15:16Yes, exactly you were wearing it.
- 15:18No, not me, another guy about my age, maybe somewhere in there.
- 15:22And of course I hollered at him. I said, wait a second.
- 15:26I thought I was the only one in the state and and him and I
- 15:31don't know if it was the sun with Oh, wait, I've met so many
- 15:33people. I wish I could remember their
- 15:34names. I remember the faces.
- 15:36I'm sure I'll see him again. But but anyways, the race itself
- 15:41female trainer wins the Sherry Devoe trains the winner.
- 15:45The horse comes from absolutely last circles the field, golden
- 15:50golden tempo right and and and wins the race.
- 15:53It was an it was fascinating finish, but the one hole it bit
- 15:57Renegade it did. The 1 hole cost renegade the
- 16:00Kentucky Derby. It did.
- 16:01There's no doubt about. It was that the best horse?
- 16:03Yes, See, here's the thing, right When you're when you're.
- 16:07He had nobody to his left and when the field comes crashing
- 16:11down, all those other horses that are getting sandwiched,
- 16:13they've got a horse to their left.
- 16:15So it kind of minimizes their path.
- 16:17But Renegade just got clobbered right out of it, lost all chance
- 16:21and but yeah, he was the best horse.
- 16:24But for me, the story, as good as the race was, there's a
- 16:28couple of things AI hit it, but we lost money.
- 16:30I wheeled three horses. Emerging Market was my main key
- 16:33and we had them in Trisley on an I.
- 16:35But we lost money. We hit the exacta and lost money
- 16:38and it paid 141, which was really light.
- 16:42But it was it was a great race and it was a great crowd and
- 16:45we'll see where it goes. I don't think I don't think the
- 16:48Derby winner is going to end up in the Preakness.
- 16:49So there will be no shot for the Triple Crown, but it was very
- 16:53well received, it was very well watched throughout the country
- 16:57and the Kentucky Derby first Saturday in May Pretty good
- 17:00story and a pretty good day overall.
- 17:02My wife had the winner. Did she?
- 17:04Well she saw that it was a female trainer and of course she
- 17:06had to put 5 bucks on that. So she got that one and now her
- 17:09twin Spires accounts got AI. Don't know 100 and some bucks in
- 17:12there and then. Late Dorman until the next.
- 17:15Absolutely. 1st Saturday in May. But we didn't make it out.
- 17:19We said maybe it was packed. Yes, we're it's on the it's on
- 17:24the summer schedule. After doing it again, the kids
- 17:27were into it once again. They want to go out there and,
- 17:29and I explained to Jack, because we haven't been out there with
- 17:32the kids since Ella was probably 3 or 4.
- 17:35I mean, we're talking 6-7 years ago, something like that.
- 17:38Jacks never been out there. He loves animals, he loves
- 17:40horses, he loves bedding. He's got his daddy's bind on
- 17:43that one. So when we were talking about a
- 17:45little bit more and then I explained, yeah, that's just 25
- 17:48minutes away, He got real fired up.
- 17:50So we're putting that on the schedules.
- 17:51I can find a weekend without baseball and softball.
- 17:54Maybe it'll rain, yeah, maybe rain will bring you out there,
- 17:57but you want to be outside to get close to the horses, not
- 17:59upstairs. But yeah, it looked like I
- 18:01haven't seen it. Like I say, I've not seen a
- 18:03crowd that big in a long, long time at Prey Meadows, if ever.
- 18:06So, so good to see. Did you watch any of the golf?
- 18:10Did did Young just run away from this?
- 18:12He did, yeah. He was up six shots going into
- 18:14Sunday and it was a dominating performance.
- 18:16I swear, every time. I don't bet him.
- 18:18Up 6 going into and he won by 6. Yeah, he just cruised.
- 18:21He got an early birdie and and nobody could make any kind of
- 18:24push against him, but he's playing really well and he's one
- 18:27of those guys at at minimum, I think you need to have on your
- 18:30on your sheet for the PGA a guy that you definitely have to.
- 18:33Next week, no. Two weeks. 2 weeks. 2 weeks.
- 18:36Mari Kamo was a guy that I had circled this week and I had the
- 18:39back injury earlier this year. He pulled out of a tournament on
- 18:42Thursday morning and came back, Played well with Masters.
- 18:46Kind of just grinded his way through.
- 18:47He took a big step back this weekend.
- 18:49Going to be an interesting field.
- 18:50And the cool thing about the PGA, I do love the stories.
- 18:53I just read one last night about one of those PGA guys that work
- 18:57at your golf shop, right? Work out your golf public,
- 19:00private, doesn't matter. Those PGA pros and them getting
- 19:03that opportunity and what it's like, and this guy said I never
- 19:06had any inkling ever in my life that I was going to be at this
- 19:10level and now he's going to be there competing with the best of
- 19:13the best. Yeah, that was a pretty cool
- 19:15story. So where did, where does Young
- 19:17rank is? Is he, is he moving up the food
- 19:19chain, if you will? Yeah, that's interesting
- 19:21because. Is he a top ten player at this
- 19:24point? Probably, yeah, on the fringes.
- 19:27I mean, you you start to cross some guys down that just overall
- 19:30have not been certainly in for Mori Comba, definitely one of
- 19:33those guys. You know, Shaf Lee's been so
- 19:35inconsistent. Usually a good horse when it
- 19:37gets to the majors, but that inconsistency that starts to
- 19:40show up. I definitely think top 10 at
- 19:42minimum and maybe even pushing towards that top five.
- 19:45That's kind of the level that he's been playing at.
- 19:48He hits it a long ways. That's going to go a long ways.
- 19:50And I'll be when we get Rudy on be interested to talk a little
- 19:53bit about obviously what it's going to look like and and that
- 19:56set up and of course that they haven't been in so long and
- 19:58certainly for an event like this.
- 20:00Yeah, absolutely. All right, Scott, document
- 20:02coming up. We do have a keyword to get to
- 20:04you in advance. We've keyword contest rolls on
- 20:09for another weekend. Head to Kicks and o.com or
- 20:12whichever station you happen to be listening to on the Iowa
- 20:14Sports Radio Network. Once you get there, a pop up box
- 20:17will appear in that pop up boxthekeywordthishourisgrandgrand@kxando.com.
- 20:23Your chance to win a grand grand KX and o.com your chance to win
- 20:28$1000 in this nationwide contest.
- 20:30More opportunities coming up throughout the afternoon.
- 20:33Fact, Trent and I have another one coming up in the one O clock
- 20:36hour. Let's get Thunder Joe before we
- 20:37go to break. Then we'll come back with Scott
- 20:39Dockerman. Bill Seals coming up 1245.
- 20:42Hello, Joe, How are you? Hey, how's it going?
- 20:45Great time of year, Thunder playoff basketball, Cardinals
- 20:47are playing fantastic. And what you didn't bring up
- 20:49about Cam Young Trent is that the dude literally called a
- 20:53penalty stroke on himself and still pardon the hole.
- 20:55If he really. He's playing, yes.
- 20:57What happened to the ball move or something did?
- 20:59He did. You was.
- 21:00Caught back and it rolled. The ball rolled forward.
- 21:03And so he called the official over.
- 21:04And the officials like, well, did you touch?
- 21:06He goes. I don't know.
- 21:07Really. Yeah, called the stroke on him
- 21:10and still pard the hole. Did could you see?
- 21:12Going your way. No, I agree.
- 21:13Joe, could you was there replay that showed the ball moving and
- 21:16was he close to it? Do you think he do you think he
- 21:18actually touched the ball? Naked eye couldn't tell.
- 21:22OK, so, well, good for him. I mean, that's honesty, right?
- 21:27Who? Who took a lot of criticism for
- 21:29not Was it Patrick? Reed Yeah.
- 21:31Yeah. And what's his apologies?
- 21:33Didn't Craig Stadler put a towel on the ground or something in
- 21:36the Masters and somebody got on the phone?
- 21:38He put his knee down something like like he put his knee on a
- 21:41towel. Yeah.
- 21:42Was it Stadler? I don't know if it was Stadler.
- 21:45I remember the story of the towels.
- 21:46I just can't remember who it was.
- 21:48But yes, that was a big no. It was it Was it a major?
- 21:52I'm not sure. Probably.
- 21:53I mean, in fact, if it's still clinging in the memory
- 21:55somewhere, right, deep, deep in the recesses, that probably has
- 21:58to be the case. But good pull on that one.
- 22:01Look at you, flaunting your. Oh yeah, well, I mill it it all
- 22:04hang out Tran. I counted.
- 22:05I got 33 of them left so I'm empty in the chamber 3.
- 22:09Oh man. Miller and Condon underway on a
- 22:11Monday. Scott Dockerman next.
- 22:13It's the Iowa Sports Radio Network.
- 22:21I'm Hillary Condon, welcome back.
- 22:22Coming up on 12:30, again, the keyword, if you missed it this
- 22:25hour, it was Grand Grand KX and o.com.
- 22:29Just one more thing Craig Statler did put his knee on a
- 22:32towel. Yes, it was the 1987 San Diego
- 22:35Open, so not a major. No.
- 22:38By yet by any means. A caller just called in, said
- 22:40the ground was wet, and he did it to save his pants.
- 22:43Oh, absolutely. And apparently that helped his
- 22:45stance. The walrus.
- 22:46The walrus indeed. Cheating walrus trying to get an
- 22:49edge. Here's Scott Dockerman, he joins
- 22:51the program. Doctor it and Ken, good to have
- 22:53you on on this Monday. Scott, of course writes for the
- 22:55athletic doc. I I guess we have to start with
- 22:58the cash windfall that the Big 10 just received this past
- 23:02weekend. Does this exceed expectations,
- 23:06Scott? I don't remember the money that
- 23:07was being bannered about coming close to this.
- 23:11Or maybe it was, but certainly not to this level.
- 23:15Just your your overall take on the windfall that's coming the
- 23:18Big 10's way. It was really similar to what I
- 23:22expected or what I had heard kind of going into this season.
- 23:26It's just when you see the numbers, then they kind of jump
- 23:28out at you, you know, and, and the fact is, I mean, the Big 10
- 23:32made, you know, 1.47 billion last, you know, the last fiscal
- 23:37year and, and 1.37 of it went to, you know, it's coffers and
- 23:42it went to its 18 members. And in different ways.
- 23:45I think that some of the interesting facts to me are, you
- 23:48know, more than just the actual, you know, dispersal number is
- 23:52that this was the first time where it was uneven based on
- 23:55College Football Playoff revenues.
- 23:58And that's why Ohio State was at 91,000,000 and Penn State was at
- 24:0288 million. And, and that's why Oregon had
- 24:05more than Washington because, you know, they did, but, you
- 24:10know, teams that not only went to the CFP, but advanced in the
- 24:14CFP made more money that way. And which was a departure from
- 24:18pretty much an even split across the board.
- 24:20So, you know, but it is the, the whole number that that I think
- 24:25people, you know, it's got a little bit of sticker shock.
- 24:27And the fact that they made $540 million more year over year is
- 24:32another part of that. Absolutely ridiculous here on
- 24:35the local level when you're going through and digging
- 24:37through the numbers, anything interesting jump out to you
- 24:39about the Hawkeyes and the athletic department over there?
- 24:44No, I mean, it's really, it's just the number.
- 24:47I mean, they, you know, they, they were what, $78 million?
- 24:50I mean, so that's all really, you know, they didn't, they
- 24:53didn't have it circled and, and highlighted in, in black and
- 24:57gold and say, hey, here's Iowa stuff.
- 24:59It's just the number. So no, I mean they got basically
- 25:04the same as everybody else except for the, the CFP teams
- 25:07and, and, and the team and Oregon and and Washington and
- 25:12then a few others were like 76,000,000.
- 25:15So some that I think Maryland is, is still off by a couple
- 25:19million because it's still paying back from when it wasn't
- 25:21a vested member. So Doc, you touched on there
- 25:25with Oregon and Washington as I recall and then I was glad we
- 25:27had you on for this. The LA schools, they got a
- 25:32bigger share coming in right than Oregon and Washington.
- 25:34That's why they weren't on that. What they got 40 something
- 25:38million of memory serves, UCLA and USC, where they kind of
- 25:42brought into the conference at a level above Oregon and
- 25:45Washington. Is that right?
- 25:47That is correct. And it's the only time, you
- 25:51know, since the recent expansion, starting with
- 25:53Nebraska, where the LA schools were brought in as vested
- 25:56members. And that is that's the only time
- 25:58that's happened. Nebraska had to wait six years,
- 26:02Rutgers and Maryland had to wait six years and and Oregon and
- 26:05Washington do. But but the, the way that it was
- 26:08negotiated and the, the at the time, knowing that UCLA and and
- 26:14USC were going to bring in a sizable windfall, you know,
- 26:17which is basically what they got is because of those two schools
- 26:21more than it was even Oregon and Washington that came a little
- 26:24later. They, they got more, but not a
- 26:26whole lot more. So that's why they came in, you
- 26:29know, at 100% right away. The others had to wait six years
- 26:33and like, and what they were given were at least the first 3
- 26:39Rutgers, Maryland and and Nebraska were giving given
- 26:43shares to basically what they were leaving.
- 26:46So what they were at at the ACC, what they were at in the Big 12
- 26:50and and Rutgers, unfortunately for them were and what they were
- 26:54at in the American Athletic Conference.
- 26:57And now Maryland and Rutgers started borrowing up to the
- 27:02point of being invested membership, but then they had to
- 27:05repay it. And which is why I think, right,
- 27:09Maryland was at right around like $125 million it had
- 27:12borrowed from the Big 10 and it's still not completely vested
- 27:17out. I think this is the last year
- 27:19where they have to repay it. But, you know, Nebraska, to its
- 27:24credit, is it's one of the most financially sound athletic
- 27:27departments in the country and certainly is in the Big 10.
- 27:30So it didn't have any issues with it.
- 27:32But Washington and Oregon are pretty good shape, too.
- 27:36Washington does have to borrow some money but but but yeah,
- 27:40UCLA and USC, they they started in at 100%.
- 27:43When we talk about these revenues, a huge part of it is
- 27:46obviously what comes in from television and for years and
- 27:49years and years, even back to the formation of the Big 10
- 27:52network. Well, this bubbles going to
- 27:53burst. And now we see people that have
- 27:55moved away. People don't have cable, people
- 27:57don't have satellite, People stream in different ways, yet
- 28:00revenues are still there. Do you see it there's some kind
- 28:03of tipping point that we're going to hit here in the not too
- 28:06distant future? Or is the revenue just going to
- 28:08keep building, building and building going forward, Doc, as
- 28:10we look at the way that these conferences get their money?
- 28:14It depends on the conference and I'd say the Big 10 and the SEC
- 28:18are in really good shape because people still watch them their
- 28:21games at a really high rate. I mean, the numbers are
- 28:24fantastic for both leagues, you know, specifically the SEC in
- 28:29the regular season and the big 10 and in certain games and, and
- 28:33by and large pretty good. So and plus they're tight end
- 28:35with Fox and in a heavy way. So this is, you know, I don't
- 28:39see it bursting for those two leagues.
- 28:41It's really about what kind of value and ratings you can bring,
- 28:45because I think in the Big 12, you know, I have to look at I, I
- 28:49don't have the numbers in front of me as far as TV goes, but I
- 28:52think there were only three games that were Big 12 games
- 28:54that registered 4 million viewers last year and just on
- 28:59their own. And, and then one of them was
- 29:01the the kickoff, Iowa State, Kansas State.
- 29:03And and so, you know, those are the leagues that why they're,
- 29:08they're not getting as much money.
- 29:09I mean, it's just that's the way it goes.
- 29:10So but the big But as long as people are still watching, and
- 29:13still watching in the millions of numbers that they are, then
- 29:17they'll still continue to enrich themselves.
- 29:19I want to get to 5 to play 5 in just a second doc but something
- 29:22dawned on me knowing that you know, you do cover TV numbers
- 29:26etc. Media at the athletic and it's
- 29:30more this pertains to basketball.
- 29:31I'm talking about the Duke Michigan series when that seemed
- 29:34to be ticketed our our game rather not series hope it's a
- 29:37series ticketed for Amazon. ESPN had signed off the ACC
- 29:43network had signed off ESP. Well, they're related obviously.
- 29:46But then the big 10 at the last minute came and said no, no, no,
- 29:49no, no. That game is ours.
- 29:51Do they want a piece? Amazon obviously had to be
- 29:54writing a big, big check to get that game of that magnitude.
- 29:58Are you familiar with that at all, Doc?
- 30:00The Big 10 kind of getting involved at last minute.
- 30:04Yeah, and, and it's, it's really surprising that it got announced
- 30:09because the the last game between Michigan and Duke was an
- 30:15ESPN game, which meant that it's, and the, the tradition for
- 30:19the any kind of series like this, even if it's a neutral
- 30:22site, is that it goes back and forth with the the host
- 30:26networks. And so, you know, whether it's a
- 30:30home game for Duke that officially that ended up on ESPN
- 30:33or it might be a home game from Michigan that it would end up on
- 30:37Fox or or one of its other networks.
- 30:39That's kind of the the way it goes usually.
- 30:42That's why every other year you might see the side Hawk men's
- 30:45basketball game on BTN, you know, because of those same
- 30:49details. Well, for this to happen is
- 30:54really surprising because usually that's this is all
- 30:59ironed out before it gets notified.
- 31:00So the Big 10 does have a legitimate gripe in this.
- 31:04And, and I don't know that Duke or Amazon or the ACC is going to
- 31:09want to find a way to, you know, try to make this work, but
- 31:12they're going to have to make this right somehow.
- 31:15It or Big 10 will just say no to to Michigan and Michigan won't
- 31:18be able to do anything about it because, you know, the Big 10
- 31:21became the first conference to pool its third party rights in
- 31:251988. And it was really emphasized in
- 31:302007 when they formed the Big 10 Network.
- 31:32And you know, there, there have been episodes even Iowa has
- 31:36tried to get some of those games, basketball games in the
- 31:39beginning when used to be over the air on what probably KDSM in
- 31:42Des Moines or KGAN in Cedar Rapids.
- 31:46They in the past, Iowa looked at some of those early season games
- 31:50and trying to sell them off And Big 10 slapped a tan and said
- 31:53you are not allowed to do that. And that's the same way here
- 31:56because it is part of their media rights deal and that's why
- 31:59the Big 10 disburses $1.37 billion because of those free
- 32:04rights. Zach, I had a call here as we
- 32:07were speaking from Mike in West Des Moines.
- 32:09He was wondering about that loan that was handed out right after
- 32:12COVID fraud to the athletic department from the university.
- 32:15And it's something that's lingering.
- 32:17I see a lot of comments, feels like from Story County about
- 32:19that loan and wondering when that money is going to be
- 32:22repaid. But you see these kind of
- 32:23revenues that continue to increase.
- 32:25I know the cost of doing business is certainly
- 32:27increasing, but any insight? Any idea of when that $50
- 32:31million loan is going to be paid back from the athletic
- 32:33department back to the university?
- 32:36It has been, I mean, it's been repaid every year.
- 32:39It's a 15 year loan. I reported this in the beginning
- 32:42and they pay it back 3, three and a half, $1,000,000 per year.
- 32:46It's part of its, it's part of its expenditure sheet.
- 32:50It shows it, you know, so it's not, it's not like it's never
- 32:53been repaid and it's going to get forgiven or anything like
- 32:56that. It's just, you know, it's
- 32:57something that, you know, ever since the COVID year.
- 33:00So they're what year five, I think, or something like that at
- 33:03this. So it's not, it's not anything
- 33:06they're hiding from. I mean, you know, I guess I
- 33:08could do a better job of putting it all out there, but, but it's
- 33:11not a big deal really. I, I guess I know Iowa State is
- 33:15thinking more revenue or you know, income from the university
- 33:19itself and, and I know, but that's kind of a separate deal.
- 33:22I was not getting anything else beyond what it received during
- 33:25the COVID year. Doc 5 for five seemingly has
- 33:29some momentum behind it eligibility wise when it comes
- 33:32to college athletes. Maybe 1 transfer and then after
- 33:36that you you reverts back to Yep, you can transfer but you
- 33:40got to sit out a year. Your your thoughts on what's
- 33:43being presented and does this have any traction?
- 33:46I do think it will happen. I think there's some real
- 33:49momentum to this. I, I wonder if I mean the
- 33:53leadership or the NCAA Division one council meets later this
- 33:59later next part. I guess it is May now in this
- 34:01month, a couple weeks and I would expect it to have most of
- 34:06it finalized. But I can also see them stalling
- 34:10it long enough to where it's not implemented until maybe the fall
- 34:14or announced in the fall. Because as you as we know,
- 34:17what's going to happen is if they announce it, it's going to
- 34:20happen if there's going to be lawsuit city.
- 34:22And and if you do that and you know, because now with if
- 34:27you're, you know, take any basketball player out there,
- 34:31let's say Tavion Banks from Iowa, probably not going to be
- 34:34in the NBA this year, you know, but you, but you get an
- 34:37opportunity to come back, you're going to make some decent money,
- 34:40buy more money than you would either across in Europe,
- 34:42certainly in the G League. So that's my anticipation is
- 34:46that they probably push it off as long as they can.
- 34:51And so they're, they're not going to have to deal with any
- 34:53kind of loss. And I would think Lipsy too,
- 34:56right? Like not not just him, but his
- 34:57situation, the COVID guys got an extra year, he got 4 to play 4,
- 35:02right? And and now going forward,
- 35:04you'll get 5 to play 5. So maybe, maybe the guys that
- 35:08got 4 to play for, might they have an argument?
- 35:11You're absolutely right. And this is something that, you
- 35:15know, I mean, it would, it would cause such a ripple effect,
- 35:18really hard to calculate, you know, because not just
- 35:21basketball, but football, I mean, if there's anybody
- 35:23lingering around going, hey, you know, I can do this.
- 35:25Because if you want to talk about one group of athletes that
- 35:29got totally screwed by the by everything, it was that class of
- 35:3421, because at the frontline they lost a lot of them didn't
- 35:40get scholarship opportunities because everybody started to
- 35:42come back. And so I, I know of, you know,
- 35:46one person I've talked to a lot about this is Jackson Rexroth
- 35:49from Iowa, who played and was a starter by the end.
- 35:52And I talked to his dad about this and you know, he had
- 35:54opportunities, he thought from the Mac to get a scholarship.
- 35:57Well, as soon as the seasons were cancelled or the the all
- 36:02the players started coming back. They're like there's no more
- 36:04opportunities. So he had to walk on at Iowa.
- 36:06Well, then every year everybody started using an extra year.
- 36:10And so in his case and Carson Shires case and you know, Jayden
- 36:14Harrell's case too, then you had Jay Higgins come back and he had
- 36:19Nick Jackson come back for an extra year.
- 36:20And so you just if you only get one year and now all the way
- 36:24down to the end, you know, it's like everybody outside of this
- 36:27is going to get an extra year. It's like this one ghost class
- 36:31really got ruined by it all. So that that needs to be taken
- 36:35into account. But it should have been taken
- 36:36into account, you know, a while ago because.
- 36:39I think this again, this was a year where everybody just kind
- 36:42of got stuck. They didn't get a play as they
- 36:45didn't get the extra year and then then all those other people
- 36:48took up their valuable playing time while they were in school.
- 36:51Amazing doc, Good stuff. What are you reporting on?
- 36:54What are you writing this week at The Athletic?
- 36:57I've got two, our Big 10 surveys come out tomorrow and Wednesday.
- 37:03So the results which were very, very, very fascinating.
- 37:06Tomorrow's details mostly about the league and people's thoughts
- 37:10on the league and, and all the matters of, you know, Tony
- 37:13Petiti and everything. And then and then on Wednesday
- 37:16is everybody's stuff on their own schools.
- 37:20So all 18 schools are represented by multiple comments
- 37:24and whether or not people think that they have the opportunity
- 37:27to go to the CFP championship game.
- 37:30So I would encourage people to read these.
- 37:32I think, you know, if you're a Big 10 fan or even a college
- 37:34football fan, I think you'll want to see what people have to
- 37:36say about the administration, how they match up with the SEC
- 37:40and then what they think of their own team.
- 37:42Good stuff. Fine.
- 37:43If your schedule allows, we'll we'll rehash that with you when
- 37:45you join us next Monday. Thank you, Doc, as always for
- 37:48doing this. Appreciate.
- 37:49Look forward to that piece. That two parter coming up this
- 37:51week at the Athletic, Scott Doctorman.
- 37:53Thank you, Scott. Thanks.
- 37:55Have a good one you. Do the same Scott Dockerman as
- 37:58we check in on a number of topics with Doc.
- 38:00All right, Bill Seals coming up next, cyclonereport.com.
- 38:03Miller and Condon, Iowa Sports Radio Network Hi, Miller and
- 38:11Condon, welcome back. Iowa Sports Radio Network,
- 38:14Trenton, Ken with you until 2:00.
- 38:17Bill Seals cyclonereport.com He joins us talk a little Iowa
- 38:22State saw Bill at the Prairie Meadows on on Saturday.
- 38:25Trent apparently took a few minutes away from just tearing
- 38:28down the football program. You read Twitter and you
- 38:32shouldn't. No, I shouldn't.
- 38:33It's I should know better. Hello, Bill Seals.
- 38:36I can't believe you're you're becoming the fall guy for of all
- 38:39things are running back, a thin skin running back and Jane
- 38:42Jackson apparently couldn't stand the heat side to get out
- 38:44of the kitchen. But you're the bad guy for
- 38:46reporting what the coach said just never ceases to amaze me.
- 38:49Bill, how are you? Well, I, I've been better, you
- 38:53know, I've got broad shoulders. But yeah, you know, it's, it's,
- 38:58it's been something. But yeah, I mean, it, it, you
- 39:02know, you, you, you just boil it down to, I think in my mind,
- 39:05it's like, you know, where do they go now in terms of
- 39:09scholarship, you know, running backs?
- 39:11How's that situation look, you know, coming out of this?
- 39:14It's too bad that he, you know, he did decide to move on.
- 39:17He was kind of one that the coaches talked a little bit
- 39:20about throughout the spring. You know, I think we got the
- 39:23first inkling, you know, that he had some work to do when we
- 39:27talked to John Johnson earlier in the spring, the running backs
- 39:30coach. And, you know, he was a guy that
- 39:31recruited Jackson out of out of that Houston area, too.
- 39:37And when he was a position coach, actually it was Sam
- 39:40Houston State where he was at that point.
- 39:43So, you know, I figured those two had, you know, pretty close
- 39:47connection and and stuff. And we get some good stuff out
- 39:49of Johnson on progress and didn't really get that.
- 39:53And that was kind of the first inkling maybe that he had some
- 39:56work to do on and off the field. You know, as that played out
- 39:59over the spring. We got the the comments from
- 40:02from Rogers and from Roll after that spring showcase that there
- 40:07was still some work to do. So he's decided to move on.
- 40:11And, you know, Iowa State's got, you know, even a little bit more
- 40:15limited depth at that running back position now.
- 40:18You know, Aiden Flora, I think they're expecting pretty big
- 40:21things out of him. He had a black jersey on and on
- 40:25no no contact jersey on throughout that scrimmage.
- 40:29So I think he's probably their number one guy and they just
- 40:32didn't want to get him nicked up at all throughout that day.
- 40:36You know, they got him out of there healthy, ready to go into
- 40:39the summer. Cam Pettaway is that kind of
- 40:42that scat back, that change of pace guy, a good receiver.
- 40:46We'll we'll see what the injury outlook is.
- 40:49I think with Saladina Law, we'll talk to Rogers probably well, I
- 40:54think in a couple weeks here once they start that tailgate
- 40:56tour, kind of get an idea how his rehabs going into the
- 41:00summer. You know, River Peppers, that's
- 41:03another one. We, we, we like talking about
- 41:05him on the show. We'll get an idea, you know,
- 41:07where his recovery is. And they've got two guys.
- 41:10I think it was well advised. They did sign two guys in the
- 41:132026 class. And you know, Caleb Francois,
- 41:16Minnesota Player of the year, Iowa State did a pretty good job
- 41:19with the last one they got that was the player of the year out
- 41:22of Minnesota, Carson Hansen. So I think they expect big
- 41:26things with him and, you know, we'll see how this thing plays
- 41:29out. Bill, I know you take a peek at
- 41:31the portal there and correct me if I'm wrong.
- 41:34I think I heard this over the weekend that it is closed for D1
- 41:39players, FBS players. But D2 guys can enter the
- 41:42portal. D3 guys can enter the portal.
- 41:44I mean, there's got to be a minimum, some sniffing around
- 41:46there, not just a running back, but just in general for all the
- 41:49coaches say, hey, maybe this guy can help out a roster.
- 41:52You know the rule behind that. And if I was stayed as still, at
- 41:55least shopping around inside the portal.
- 41:57Well, and I think I, I believe that if you're a grad transfer,
- 42:01you can also go at any time. It's not the portal's not if
- 42:07you're a grad transfer, you have your your BA, your undergrad,
- 42:11you're you're good to go anytime you want to jump in.
- 42:14So I think that's another Ave. too.
- 42:17You know, we've heard more about this Markellis Bass, the Butler
- 42:21Community College running back from Kansas.
- 42:25Last I had checked in with him, he had said the coaches were
- 42:28supposed to be in to see him, I believe this week at some point.
- 42:32So, you know, maybe that maybe the the Jackson News expedites
- 42:37things there. So, but she, yeah, again, you
- 42:40know, the the grad transfer route, I don't know of anybody
- 42:43in particular that would be a grad transfer, but that's
- 42:45another Ave. that they could go to as as well.
- 42:50Switching to basketball? Donovan Davis, Is he going to be
- 42:52a Cyclone? You know, I, I put in a, a
- 42:58prediction for him to land at Iowa State, but you know, I
- 43:01think we've talked about him in the past, guys and I, I've, I've
- 43:06thought he was going to be a cyclone for, for over a year
- 43:09now. I think I've, I've just had that
- 43:11feeling, you know, it's played out.
- 43:12I thought, you know, maybe with Jr.
- 43:14Blunt moving on, they might have a little more work to do to kind
- 43:19of close things out, but I think they're still in great shape.
- 43:22Alan Hanson. Not surprisingly, I talked to
- 43:26Donovan last week after the Iowa State visit.
- 43:29He's one, not surprisingly, he was in in contact with when he
- 43:34was a high schooler and well, and when Hanson was at Bradley,
- 43:37he was recruiting Davis a little bit.
- 43:39So there is a a connection there.
- 43:41He's a Wisconsin guy and even Buckley, Tim Buckley, he's he's
- 43:46someone that's been involved in his recruitment too.
- 43:48Iowa State Senate contingent of four coaches up to see Donovan
- 43:54at high school, at his high school recently.
- 43:57So he is, you know, a big time focus of their efforts and I, I
- 44:02think they get the job done on Wednesday.
- 44:04Over to recruiting, over to football and a local guy always
- 44:08loved the local ties with Joe Vineyard, who called a few of
- 44:11his games over at Waukee Northwest.
- 44:13A tight end prospect coming in with the new coaching staff
- 44:16there. It was so crazy because all
- 44:18these guys that came in for this year's team felt like they're
- 44:21all over the country resting, Establishing those local
- 44:24connections. Certainly important for any
- 44:25coaching staff anywhere, and it looks like Rodgers has done a
- 44:27good job of that getting Vineyard.
- 44:30Yeah, Well, how about how about the city of Waukee being tight?
- 44:34What, what do you want to call it?
- 44:35Titan U in college, you know, they sent Evan Jacobson to A&M.
- 44:41So how about that? Now the Waukee Northwest kid is
- 44:44going to get a chance at the the Power 4 level.
- 44:47And I think I I I like what I see in him.
- 44:49He, you know, I think he's done shown that he's going to be a a
- 44:53great blocker, you know, and Tyler rolls offense, you got to
- 44:56be you got to be a guy in there that's going to stick your nose
- 45:00in and, and, and, and block somebody.
- 45:02But also his receiving numbers very, very good as well.
- 45:07He copped up 40 passes, 464 yards, 3 touchdowns.
- 45:12Granted, you know, Joaquin Northwest, he has a gift of
- 45:16having a good quarterback to throw in the ball too.
- 45:19So, but I think he's demonstrated he he he can give
- 45:23the cyclones a lot in addition to not just being, you know,
- 45:26like a tight end that's a plotter that is just out there
- 45:30to block. I think he can catch the ball
- 45:32too. Bill, we're out of time, my
- 45:34friend. Thanks for doing this.
- 45:35We will track you down next week on Monday.
- 45:38Thank you, Bill Seals, appreciate you coming.
