- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from kf I
- 0:04Speaker 1: am six forty and now Handle on the news. Ladies
- 0:16Speaker 1: and gentlemen, here's Bill Handle.
- 0:20Speaker 2: All right, good morning, Monday morning, March ninth. Handle here obviously,
- 0:25Speaker 2: Amy is there just another Monday. We're only watching the
- 0:30Speaker 2: world literally fall apart as oil prices are exploding. Always
- 0:38Speaker 2: out to tell people how great things are. So that's
- 0:41Speaker 2: fun for me.
- 0:42Speaker 3: All right. We started today.
- 0:43Speaker 2: There's lots of cover today, as you can imagine, it
- 0:46Speaker 2: was going on GIA politically.
- 0:48Speaker 3: First of all, let me start with Will.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Good morning, Will Bill Hammon, Yes, yes, that's correct, that
- 0:53Speaker 2: is my name.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Excellent good And there's Amy Amy.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Which we've heard from Hi Bill, We're starting the Amy
- 1:01Speaker 2: King Hour.
- 1:02Speaker 3: And then there is.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Neil and and Buddy. Hey, hey, oh, I have a question.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I was going to go to the Gary and Shannon
- 1:13Speaker 2: thing in Anaheim and.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I just completely forgot.
- 1:17Speaker 4: You miss I missed.
- 1:19Speaker 3: They were thrilled you forgot.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I'll bet you they did because I told them I
- 1:23Speaker 2: was showing up and I would have, but I just
- 1:25Speaker 2: I just forgot. I forgot what I was doing on Saturday.
- 1:29Speaker 2: And uh, you need post it notes for the fridge.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I do you know that I should have posted notes?
- 1:34Speaker 2: And I have my calendar on my on my phone
- 1:37Speaker 2: that I never look at, and I have to start
- 1:39Speaker 2: doing that.
- 1:41Speaker 3: That's so crazy. So yeah, that's a shame.
- 1:46Speaker 5: I heard it was a good party. Yeah, oh it
- 1:48Speaker 5: looked fantastic. I didn't get a chance to go either.
- 1:51Speaker 5: I was with the family on Saturday.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Oh I'd much rather go going to be with the family,
- 1:56Speaker 2: but I just plan old just forgot.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Yeah, oh do you know what last night, I'm going
- 2:02Speaker 3: to do this later on too.
- 2:04Speaker 2: At seven point thirty, I was watching the Paralympics, the
- 2:08Speaker 2: opening ceremony in Verona where Lindsay and I got married
- 2:14Speaker 2: in Verona, and every time they panned to the arena
- 2:18Speaker 2: to the main square, she would go, oh, yeah, and
- 2:21Speaker 2: the ice cream shop is right.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Behind there, And I mean she knew, she.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Knows every inch of that place because that's where we're
- 2:28Speaker 2: going to end up living. And so we're watching the
- 2:33Speaker 2: opening ceremony, which were pretty terrific. The arena was half
- 2:38Speaker 2: empty for opening ceremonies. It literally was half empty.
- 2:44Speaker 3: We all know you got married there, or yeah, that's
- 2:47Speaker 3: probably it, but it was that was so depressing. It
- 2:50Speaker 3: really was.
- 2:52Speaker 2: And there they were dancing at the beginning. It was
- 2:55Speaker 2: a very impressive opening ceremony. It was kind of neat,
- 2:57Speaker 2: and some people in a wheelchairs were doing the thing
- 3:01Speaker 2: and it was, you know, obviously appropriate and just it
- 3:06Speaker 2: was just horrible to see, and especially Lindsay. You know,
- 3:10Speaker 2: Lindsay is basically half a gamp herself. She suffers from
- 3:15Speaker 2: gimp ititis and she is in a wheelchair some of
- 3:20Speaker 2: the time. She has crps so she can walk short distances.
- 3:24Speaker 3: She has a tough time, I know. So I go,
- 3:27Speaker 3: this is amazing.
- 3:27Speaker 2: So I go from one wife who is gimpy and
- 3:31Speaker 2: I go to a gimpier person.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Yeah, my shrink says, there's something there. Bill.
- 3:37Speaker 2: In any case, watching the Olympics, I'm going to repeat
- 3:40Speaker 2: this later on. There were there were a couple events
- 3:44Speaker 2: that were just wow.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Really.
- 3:47Speaker 2: There is blind downhill skiing, seriously, seriously wow. Blind downhill
- 3:55Speaker 2: skiing where there is a guide that skis in in
- 4:00Speaker 2: front of the in front of the blind skier and
- 4:04Speaker 2: they're on a headset and you and it tells the
- 4:08Speaker 2: skier turn left, turn right. There's a mogul coming up
- 4:12Speaker 2: and they're hauling ass down the hill and I mean
- 4:16Speaker 2: that's you know, that's not a slow jaunt. They are
- 4:20Speaker 2: moving in this downhill, going through the flags and do
- 4:24Speaker 2: it's It was nothing short of incredible to watch these
- 4:28Speaker 2: people do what they do. And I mean this is
- 4:31Speaker 2: you know the para the paranormal or para Olympic.
- 4:38Speaker 5: Or paranormal Olympics. It's just sks with nobody on them.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Yeah, skis actually skis three inches above the slope as
- 4:48Speaker 2: they go right down levitates. In any case, the Paralympics
- 4:52Speaker 2: are extraordinary in many ways, far more so than regular Olympics,
- 4:56Speaker 2: because there is also a handicapped factor in there, where
- 5:02Speaker 2: the level of disability is also included into the time
- 5:08Speaker 2: and the and the scoring. And it's really complicated and
- 5:12Speaker 2: it's fascinating stuff. And the other thing that was heartbreaking also,
- 5:16Speaker 2: I mean we walked away. Lindsay was really depressed walking away.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Not only was the stadium half empty watching Oh I'm sorry,
- 5:23Speaker 2: we have to half empty is when you're you're a pessimist.
- 5:28Speaker 2: It was half full, and therefore you can be an optimist.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Here you go, buddy, there you are?
- 5:33Speaker 5: Hey, is there ever I'm just a side side quest
- 5:36Speaker 5: here is there any joy?
- 5:38Speaker 3: In your home.
- 5:39Speaker 5: No, all you talk about is how depressed you are
- 5:41Speaker 5: in your wafe foot Yeah, okay.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Just check there is There is no joy, only joy.
- 5:46Speaker 2: The only joy that I have is that there is
- 5:49Speaker 2: no joy. That is joy in my life.
- 5:53Speaker 5: Anytime someone says money is going to make their life better,
- 5:56Speaker 5: I say, handle and that's true.
- 5:58Speaker 3: You know here here and here's the other. Here's the
- 6:01Speaker 3: other statement. I love it.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Money can't buy you happiness, yes it can. I just
- 6:06Speaker 2: or you can at least rent it if you can't
- 6:09Speaker 2: buy it. In any case. The other thing that was
- 6:11Speaker 2: pretty depressing was as these skiers were going down the
- 6:16Speaker 2: hill watching this extraordinary uh physical abilities of blind skiers
- 6:20Speaker 2: and one legged skiers and I mean just incredible what
- 6:23Speaker 2: they can do.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Uh.
- 6:25Speaker 2: There was no commentary, There was no commentary. They just
- 6:30Speaker 2: were skiing down the hill. There were no experts commenting
- 6:33Speaker 2: on it. There was no play by play.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Zero blind look at that. Yeah, but who's gonna want
- 6:42Speaker 3: that job?
- 6:42Speaker 4: Budget cuts at NBC?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, yeah it was peacock. Who wants to want
- 6:46Speaker 2: that job? Well, former Paralympic athletes who have been in
- 6:50Speaker 2: that sport like you during regular Olympics and a.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Play they're part of that community as well.
- 6:58Speaker 6: They had just you know what, there is some unanchored
- 7:03Speaker 6: coverage when you're watching just the live stuff. Sometimes they
- 7:07Speaker 6: do that. I'm thinking back to other Olympics where I'm like, one,
- 7:10Speaker 6: where are the people and it's just during the regular
- 7:13Speaker 6: competition maybe not the highway.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Well, this was the major stuff. This was the major stuff.
- 7:17Speaker 2: They didn't even we were talking. They didn't have the
- 7:20Speaker 2: microphone live as to the television audience of the skier,
- 7:25Speaker 2: the guide skier going down the hill and saying turn left,
- 7:29Speaker 2: turn right.
- 7:30Speaker 3: You couldn't even hear that. It was. It was pitiful,
- 7:33Speaker 3: it really was. That'll be talking more about that. Yeah,
- 7:36Speaker 3: that is horrible.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I were talking more about that later on, because i mean,
- 7:40Speaker 2: this Paralympics is, man, there's nothing quote special in the
- 7:46Speaker 2: sense of like special Olympics, which are people that really
- 7:49Speaker 2: are developmentally disabled. These the Paralympic athletes are just world
- 7:55Speaker 2: class athletes. That's all with one leg, one arm or
- 8:00Speaker 2: no arms, no lakes. Those guys go down the sleds okay, seriously, yeah,
- 8:08Speaker 2: the torso races. Okay, let's jump right into handle on
- 8:14Speaker 2: the news with Amy Neil and me. Please sorry, we
- 8:25Speaker 2: have a new grand Puba in Iran, a grand vizier,
- 8:31Speaker 2: and that's muchtaba.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Ham and a, and he is the site.
- 8:35Speaker 2: He was expected to be the new Iran slain Iran's
- 8:41Speaker 2: supreme leader, following his dad's slain position where his dad
- 8:46Speaker 2: is now the dead former supreme leader. And so the
- 8:51Speaker 2: second that it was announced that he is the new guy,
- 8:56Speaker 2: Israel said, we're going after him boom, and we'll see
- 8:59Speaker 2: how long he left. And this is important because it's
- 9:02Speaker 2: not just the sun and it's dynastic, which that's a
- 9:06Speaker 2: whole conversation, but this shows that it's hardliners are going
- 9:10Speaker 2: to stay there because he is a hardliner. There was
- 9:13Speaker 2: talk of someone being a little bit more moderate, although
- 9:17Speaker 2: moderate in clerical in the clerical world in Iran we
- 9:22Speaker 2: wouldn't call moderate, but relative to the hardliners. So it
- 9:26Speaker 2: looks like Iran's going to go down fighting, certainly with
- 9:30Speaker 2: the Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian Army.
- 9:32Speaker 3: And the pounding continues on.
- 9:37Speaker 6: Was it the US Iran says it was, and so
- 9:39Speaker 6: does the Times. So a video has been uploaded by
- 9:42Speaker 6: Iran's semi official mayor news agency, and then The New
- 9:46Speaker 6: York Times says it has verified it showing a Tomahawk
- 9:49Speaker 6: cruise missile striking a naval base beside a school in
- 9:54Speaker 6: the town of Minab back on February twenty eighth. The
- 9:57Speaker 6: US military is the only force that U use as
- 10:00Speaker 6: Tomahawk missiles. This is the school where one hundred and
- 10:04Speaker 6: seventy five people, many of them children, were reportedly killed.
- 10:08Speaker 6: The base that was being fired on is operated by
- 10:12Speaker 6: the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't understand this. Well, I guess I do
- 10:17Speaker 3: understand this.
- 10:18Speaker 2: But the Defense Department and the President saying no, that
- 10:20Speaker 2: wasn't us, that wasn't us, when all the evidence at
- 10:23Speaker 2: this points points to the fact that it was. You
- 10:26Speaker 2: would think that instead of denying and being shown as liars,
- 10:30Speaker 2: simply saying, yeah.
- 10:31Speaker 3: We did it.
- 10:32Speaker 2: It was a mistake, it was it was mistargeted or
- 10:36Speaker 2: there was something wrong with a guidance system and we
- 10:39Speaker 2: abhoor loss of innocent life and the apologies apologies.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I think that would have worked a lot better.
- 10:45Speaker 4: And why not say, because.
- 10:48Speaker 6: What it's showing is that the base was hit beside
- 10:53Speaker 6: the school, right, and the damage then is what killed the.
- 10:57Speaker 3: That's why I want I think it was a direct hit.
- 11:00Speaker 4: This story is saying it wasn't. It's saying it hit
- 11:02Speaker 4: the base beside the school.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Well, in any case, if that's the case, then then
- 11:07Speaker 2: they're free and clear.
- 11:09Speaker 3: All they have to do is explain it. Why is
- 11:12Speaker 3: there a school built next.
- 11:14Speaker 2: To a military another question, right, Yeah, that's a very
- 11:16Speaker 2: good question. Yeah, why would they do that because they
- 11:19Speaker 2: didn't have to. There's lots of land out there, unlike Gaza,
- 11:22Speaker 2: where you sort of have to build your military and
- 11:25Speaker 2: your civility at all in one place because there's no room.
- 11:28Speaker 2: And it's yeah, it's a shame that that happened, a
- 11:32Speaker 2: real shame, but there's a you know, the problem is
- 11:34Speaker 2: the administration can't be wrong.
- 11:36Speaker 3: It can never make a mistake ever, No.
- 11:39Speaker 6: Matter what, Israel would do something and they go, yeah
- 11:42Speaker 6: that was and they own up to it when.
- 11:44Speaker 3: They say we're investigating it, and of course they don't.
- 11:48Speaker 3: You have to.
- 11:49Speaker 2: You have to, or they do, and the guy gets
- 11:52Speaker 2: a slap on the wrist, you know whatever, soldier that
- 11:55Speaker 2: committed some horrific act and he's probably demoted, so they don't.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Israel does pretty horrible things, but at least doesn't deny it.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Happens, all right.
- 12:06Speaker 5: So with everything else, oil prices are going up. This
- 12:10Speaker 5: has been expected, of course, but they are rising above
- 12:15Speaker 5: one hundred and ten dollars a barrel. You remember when
- 12:19Speaker 5: it hit one hundred dollars a barrel, wasn't it that?
- 12:23Speaker 3: You know, it's very tough, it really is.
- 12:26Speaker 4: So it's right at one hundred right now.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it came back down a little bit to one
- 12:30Speaker 2: hundred because of the Trump administration saying, oh, it's we're
- 12:35Speaker 2: going to open up the straight her moves pretty quickly,
- 12:38Speaker 2: which I don't think is going to happen. But one
- 12:41Speaker 2: hundred dollars a barrel, I mean, that's what was it.
- 12:43Speaker 2: It's gone up like thirty percent in two weeks, week
- 12:46Speaker 2: and a half.
- 12:47Speaker 3: It has.
- 12:48Speaker 5: It's about fifty percent more expensive than it was before
- 12:51Speaker 5: the United States and Israel began.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Fifty cents, not fifty percent.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Why does it say fifty percent on the story in
- 12:58Speaker 3: New York Times.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Oil is expensive.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Oil is not correct.
- 13:04Speaker 6: That is not correct because the prices were like seventy
- 13:09Speaker 6: seventy five. They're saying it's up about twenty percent, but
- 13:11Speaker 6: fifty cents a gallon.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's probably going to go higher than that
- 13:15Speaker 2: as this thing moves on, because the straight oh horror
- 13:17Speaker 2: moves is just shut down completely and there are refineries
- 13:22Speaker 2: being taken out, certainly in a run where Israel and
- 13:26Speaker 2: the United States are now moving towards refineries, which is
- 13:29Speaker 2: you know, I thought that would be the last that
- 13:32Speaker 2: would be attacked, because after let's say the Revolutionary Guard,
- 13:37Speaker 2: the Molas are done, are gone, Iran still is still
- 13:42Speaker 2: going to need to sell oil and with the refineries
- 13:45Speaker 2: you can't do that, and so and refineries. I think
- 13:48Speaker 2: it's Saudi Arabia refinery was hit, you knowman, refineries were
- 13:52Speaker 2: hit and that is a lifeblood there.
- 13:55Speaker 3: So it's it's going to be a while to say
- 13:57Speaker 3: the least.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Speaking of getting the oil moving again, the US Energy
- 14:05Speaker 6: Secretary says it might not be long before a lot
- 14:08Speaker 6: of tankers stranded in the Persian Gulf start taking their
- 14:11Speaker 6: oil out to the world again. That's according to Chris Wright,
- 14:14Speaker 6: the Energy Secretary. Nearly all the ship operators have stopped
- 14:17Speaker 6: tankers from going through the straight Huver moves because Iran
- 14:20Speaker 6: is threatening to attack them.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Now the question is how do you define it might
- 14:25Speaker 2: not be taked, It might not take long, probably weeks
- 14:30Speaker 2: instead of months. Yeah, okay, that helps stock market. By
- 14:37Speaker 2: the way, it opens in five minutes. I think the
- 14:39Speaker 2: futures are down what over five hundred points already yep
- 14:42Speaker 2: on the Dow. Not gonna be another fun day, all right, Neil.
- 14:49Speaker 5: Yes, So, along with everything else going on, I was
- 14:52Speaker 5: listening to Aimy this morning talking about that there's a
- 14:56Speaker 5: seventh US service member killed during Operation Epic Fury. So
- 15:03Speaker 5: it's been confirmed another US service member has died in
- 15:07Speaker 5: the Iranian attack.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Yeah, your service member. We don't know who it was,
- 15:13Speaker 2: but the service member was killed in that initial attack,
- 15:16Speaker 2: survived and then died of injuries.
- 15:18Speaker 3: And your question.
- 15:19Speaker 2: When I was watching this and looking at the news,
- 15:23Speaker 2: they're calling it a dignified transfer of the remains, and
- 15:27Speaker 2: I've never heard that before, as in what it was
- 15:31Speaker 2: undignified before? It was the president at Dover Air Force
- 15:35Speaker 2: Base receives the body on behalf of the American people,
- 15:39Speaker 2: so we receive the remains, the remains or brought to
- 15:42Speaker 2: the United States. When did it become a dignified transfer?
- 15:46Speaker 2: I mean, that is just weird.
- 15:48Speaker 3: I did.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I just found that strange, that's all because it was Okay,
- 15:53Speaker 2: does that mean it was wasn't before just a weird
- 15:56Speaker 2: choice of words. I just noticed that, not that it
- 15:59Speaker 2: has really anything, but I meant I noticed that. Okay,
- 16:03Speaker 2: let's do one more before you know, people realize that
- 16:07Speaker 2: I go off on tangents that make absolutely no sense.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Bombing at momb Donni's.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Oh yeah, quick, five times?
- 16:17Speaker 3: Yeah right?
- 16:18Speaker 6: IEDs ignited outside Mayor zoram mam Donni's residence. It's called
- 16:25Speaker 6: Gracie Manor where he lives in New York City. There
- 16:29Speaker 6: were dueling protests and apparently they got out of control
- 16:35Speaker 6: and someone lit something. Nobody was hurt. And then now
- 16:38Speaker 6: they're investigating because apparently two explosives were found impossibly a third.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Thanks for training that out, because I thought originally the
- 16:46Speaker 3: story was I U d's that were loaded with explosives.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Uh huh, well that's that's where liberalism is gone.
- 16:54Speaker 5: They're actually they have grenades that just shoot IUDs into women.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Pretty much, there will be no babies on my watch.
- 17:02Speaker 3: So this was I mean, this was the real thing.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I mean, this was a fragmentation device that was going
- 17:07Speaker 2: to do a lot, a lot of damage.
- 17:09Speaker 5: All right, I've been in a lot of nutty situations,
- 17:12Speaker 5: but I never want to have to be on a
- 17:14Speaker 5: plane yelling out heads down, hands up, repeatedly, and that's
- 17:19Speaker 5: what took place on a Southwest passenger plane. So they
- 17:24Speaker 5: had to make a detour. This happened this weekend and
- 17:26Speaker 5: ended up with cops rushing onto the plane with their
- 17:29Speaker 5: guns out. So the video I saw was intense. You
- 17:35Speaker 5: have people with their head down, all the passengers heads
- 17:39Speaker 5: down behind the chair the seats with their hands up.
- 17:44Speaker 5: And this went down Friday after a flight leaving Nashville
- 17:48Speaker 5: for Fort Lauderdale had been diverted to Atlanta. Apparently there
- 17:54Speaker 5: was some sort of concern, security concern, So you have
- 17:58Speaker 5: multiple officers rushing down obviously the tight space of the
- 18:02Speaker 5: middle aisle there, full tactical gear, helmets and all head
- 18:06Speaker 5: down this aisle toward the back of the plane before
- 18:10Speaker 5: wrenching this guy out of his seat and putting cuffs
- 18:13Speaker 5: on him. And apparently nothing came of this that we
- 18:18Speaker 5: know of.
- 18:19Speaker 2: No, it was nothing. It turns out that they were playing.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Simon says, heads down, hands up, hands.
- 18:27Speaker 3: You didn't have to do it though, because Simon didn't say.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Huh, well, well it started with it started with Simon says,
- 18:36Speaker 2: suck duck grass.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Oh, it's goose bell, it's goose.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Okay, Terror's on the table.
- 18:43Speaker 6: Police in Norway say an explosion at the US embassy
- 18:46Speaker 6: in the capital city of Oslo overnight may have been
- 18:50Speaker 6: an active terror, but they're saying that they're also investigating
- 18:53Speaker 6: other possible motives. The explosion at the embassy compound happened
- 18:58Speaker 6: at one am local time, sending thick smoke into the
- 19:01Speaker 6: street by the entrance of the consolar section. No one
- 19:04Speaker 6: was hurt and there is some minor damage that they
- 19:08Speaker 6: say could be terrorism given what's going on in the world,
- 19:11Speaker 6: might not be.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Yeah, how could it not be?
- 19:13Speaker 2: I'm just curious what are the chances of it not
- 19:16Speaker 2: being terrorism based on it's the US embassy, although Oslo,
- 19:22Speaker 2: you know, it's Norway, although Norway has had its share.
- 19:26Speaker 2: And you remember that boys, that camp that where seventy
- 19:33Speaker 2: six kids or something were killed.
- 19:35Speaker 4: Why, yeah remember that? Yeah it was a few years ago.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah, a few years back.
- 19:40Speaker 2: It was a camp labor union camp for the kids
- 19:43Speaker 2: kind of thing, and the guy came in there, a
- 19:45Speaker 2: young man came in and just started shooting the place up,
- 19:48Speaker 2: and seventy six kids died PERF yeah, and he got
- 19:53Speaker 2: life imprisonment.
- 19:54Speaker 3: He's still in prison.
- 19:55Speaker 5: I'm assuming, well, speaking of children, you know, I don't
- 19:59Speaker 5: know how to be able to tell at site if
- 20:02Speaker 5: someone is a horrible offender and illegal immigrant. But I'm
- 20:08Speaker 5: gonna guess it's not the deaf six year old kid
- 20:11Speaker 5: that's gonna be. That's what I'm going to yield to.
- 20:13Speaker 5: So you've got California officials now calling for the return
- 20:17Speaker 5: of a deaf six year old student and his family
- 20:21Speaker 5: after they were detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement
- 20:25Speaker 5: agents this week, deported to Columbia state leaders calling for
- 20:30Speaker 5: Trump administration to bring him and his family home. Apparently
- 20:33Speaker 5: there's some medicine involved, to some life saving medicine the
- 20:37Speaker 5: boy needs. But they're saying, the six year old boy
- 20:42Speaker 5: attends this California school for the deaf in Fremont, but
- 20:46Speaker 5: he was home sick this week and he was detained
- 20:50Speaker 5: and deported without the medical devices, without due process.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm assuming that was with his mother. She I mean,
- 20:58Speaker 2: they just pick up a six year old and send
- 21:00Speaker 2: him on his way by himself.
- 21:02Speaker 5: But listen, I know we have problems and we need
- 21:05Speaker 5: to find out. We need to protect borders. And all
- 21:09Speaker 5: of that, but just the ham handed kind of it,
- 21:14Speaker 5: How do you expect to have any support from the community.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Well, that is exactly the point that you're just made
- 21:20Speaker 2: by these stories. Have you noticed that ICE is pulling
- 21:23Speaker 2: way way back on enforcement. You're going to see fewer
- 21:27Speaker 2: and fewer of these that they're just not doing what
- 21:30Speaker 2: they did.
- 21:31Speaker 3: And look at the deportations. It started.
- 21:34Speaker 2: It was a strong point for Donald Trump when he
- 21:38Speaker 2: was elected running on deporting illegal aliens and criminals, etc.
- 21:42Speaker 2: And now it has become one of his weakest points.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Now it is a liability for him, and so I'm
- 21:48Speaker 2: surprised this even happened this week.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Well, you've got every president before him probably doing ten
- 21:57Speaker 5: times the deportations and not getting people.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Not doing this, not doing exactly that's my point. That's
- 22:03Speaker 3: my point.
- 22:04Speaker 6: Well, they never called attention to it, like hearing about
- 22:06Speaker 6: Obama being the deporter in chief. Whatever he ported like
- 22:10Speaker 6: three million.
- 22:11Speaker 2: People he did he did deport to me, he did
- 22:13Speaker 2: it with some Well we never heard about it, No,
- 22:17Speaker 2: we didn't. And then the question is when he did
- 22:19Speaker 2: deport them, were they in the middle of asylum hearings,
- 22:23Speaker 2: had they been given visas, were visas yanked.
- 22:28Speaker 3: I think it's a different way of doing it.
- 22:29Speaker 2: And certainly ICE agents coming to the courthouse and going
- 22:34Speaker 2: to the home depots and picking people up off the sidewalks,
- 22:38Speaker 2: I don't think that.
- 22:39Speaker 5: And I get that there's there's arguments for these so
- 22:42Speaker 5: called sanctuary cities not helping them get allowing them into
- 22:48Speaker 5: the prisons to get the really bad people. So they're
- 22:51Speaker 5: just blanketing.
- 22:52Speaker 2: But still, yeah, and then you had, you know, the
- 22:56Speaker 2: policy of ICE because the kid was beyond the cutoff
- 23:00Speaker 2: line of five years of age where they don't deport
- 23:03Speaker 2: him once you hit beyond five. They okay, all right,
- 23:08Speaker 2: deal allows State Farm to keep rate hike. And this
- 23:12Speaker 2: is without scrutiny over what they refer to as firestorm payouts.
- 23:17Speaker 2: So State Farm has reached a deal with regulators to
- 23:21Speaker 2: maintain seventeen percent average homeowner rate hikes that took effect
- 23:27Speaker 2: after the.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Devastating Los Angeles what I they call wildfires.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I call them wild failures. Oh all right, yeah, very
- 23:38Speaker 3: good it is.
- 23:39Speaker 2: And you know, as a pissed off as we are
- 23:41Speaker 2: about homeowners insurance, when you get a hit like that,
- 23:44Speaker 2: those fires that cause what eighty billion dollars or whatever,
- 23:47Speaker 2: worth of damage. It's pretty crazy stuff. So you know,
- 23:51Speaker 2: life is going to get more expensive. Gasoline, a little
- 23:54Speaker 2: bit more insurance, just a little bit more right, wait,
- 23:58Speaker 2: just a little bit yea, yeah, that's me being uh.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Your lease, you're being sarcastic.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Yes, wait a second. Isn't insurance socialism? It seems to
- 24:13Speaker 3: be that good. It is.
- 24:15Speaker 5: It's socialism. But and it breaks down that quickly. One
- 24:19Speaker 5: actual claim, uh.
- 24:21Speaker 3: You know, it's not.
- 24:22Speaker 2: It's several hundred actual claims.
- 24:25Speaker 3: For you give millions of people. Yes, because there aren't
- 24:30Speaker 3: that many millions. We should do that with Yes, we should,
- 24:35Speaker 3: all right, Trump.
- 24:40Speaker 5: Jesus, the Trump administration uh is working on some sort
- 24:44Speaker 5: of economic to deal with Cuba.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Man.
- 24:47Speaker 5: You know, so you have Barack Obama lifting some of
- 24:49Speaker 5: the rules dealing, uh you know, in the final years
- 24:52Speaker 5: of his presidency with Cuba, Trump reverses that. Now Trump
- 24:57Speaker 5: maybe he is finding the sweet spot of saying, oh, okay,
- 25:00Speaker 5: we'll open up some ability for people to travel to Havana.
- 25:05Speaker 5: But yeah, here's the deal. We need something in uh exchange,
- 25:10Speaker 5: and that will be oil and shipments and the like.
- 25:15Speaker 3: So well, think.
- 25:16Speaker 2: About this for a moment that uh, you know, one person,
- 25:19Speaker 2: one man wreaking havoc around the world. But look what
- 25:22Speaker 2: he has been able to accomplish. If you're a big fan. Venezuela,
- 25:26Speaker 2: for example, has now effectively become an ally They were
- 25:30Speaker 2: an enemy and they produce a tremendous amount of oil
- 25:34Speaker 2: or will and he did.
- 25:35Speaker 3: He got exactly what he wanted.
- 25:37Speaker 5: Yeah, effective wise, he works.
- 25:43Speaker 3: It's working. Yeah, you can't, it's working undeniable yep.
- 25:48Speaker 2: And you and and what's going to happen in Iran?
- 25:50Speaker 2: I mean, with all of the complete wreckage that's going
- 25:53Speaker 2: to go on. Uh in the end, I think you're
- 25:56Speaker 2: going to see their nuclear program uh dismantled, theiristic missile
- 26:00Speaker 2: program dismantled, and they may even join the the world
- 26:06Speaker 2: community because the hierarchy, I mean, the mula, the supreme leader.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I don't know how long he's gonna last with Israel
- 26:13Speaker 2: going after him. All right, let's do one more and
- 26:16Speaker 2: then we have to get to the Penis story. Matter
- 26:20Speaker 2: of fact, why don't we do this. Let's get to
- 26:22Speaker 2: the Penis story.
- 26:24Speaker 3: You're gonna pass up. Yeah, Jack Jackson story.
- 26:28Speaker 2: His son said that the presidents didn't really didn't know it.
- 26:32Speaker 5: In Barack Obama Joe Biden, although they spoke for hours, gave.
- 26:37Speaker 6: Political speeches during the memorial service for Jesse Jackson.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Okay, Neil Oma Biden. Neil yes, yes, sorry you Peter
- 26:51Speaker 3: of six years old. Now it's too funny.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Come on, we have to do these stories. Come on,
- 26:56Speaker 5: it's not funny. It's horrible.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Man died by cutting off his own penis. That's funny.
- 27:02Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 27:03Speaker 5: You're just happy because if you cut off yours, you
- 27:05Speaker 5: could live for days and days.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Oh, thank you so much, I bled out.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Well, hold on a minute. It's a little controversial.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Why because they say he cut off his own penis.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Yet they filmed there's a video of a very distraught
- 27:19Speaker 2: and oil on that street corner.
- 27:22Speaker 5: Gosh, what is Ai taking my job? No, this is
- 27:26Speaker 5: a man who died legibly. He was mutilating himself. There
- 27:30Speaker 5: were photographers there. Actually, this is at fig and Pico Boulevard.
- 27:34Speaker 5: I know the area, well, it's across from the La
- 27:38Speaker 5: Convention Center there of course. Uh three am. He was
- 27:42Speaker 5: cutting himself, you know there was It's horrib so he died.
- 27:49Speaker 5: He cut off his bean at penis and bled to death.
- 27:51Speaker 5: If you look, there was a bunch of odd stories
- 27:54Speaker 5: that went on this weekend, horrific scenes of violence and stupidity.
- 28:00Speaker 5: The city is absolutely not governed by our mayor.
- 28:06Speaker 2: And by the way, I'm being pretty rotten about making
- 28:09Speaker 2: fun of a guy who cut off his own penis
- 28:11Speaker 2: and bled out. I mean, you know, he obviously had
- 28:15Speaker 2: some real issues, his mental issues, to say the least.
- 28:18Speaker 5: There was no way to give him an addictomy or
- 28:20Speaker 5: something that helped him.
- 28:22Speaker 3: That he gave himself an addictomy. No, it is a
- 28:24Speaker 3: song called detachable penis Detachable?
- 28:29Speaker 4: Yes, and why do you know that she worked at rock?
- 28:35Speaker 3: They actually played it.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Okay, Rodney did all right, and then let's do one
- 28:39Speaker 2: more story. We'll go back to get away from penis stories.
- 28:43Speaker 6: Talk about a photo finish. American Nathan Martin won the
- 28:50Speaker 6: La Marathon. It looked like the guy from Kenya was
- 28:53Speaker 6: about to win, and in the last second Nathan stepped
- 28:56Speaker 6: up beat him by like a foot. It was a
- 28:58Speaker 6: photo finish. He closest finish ever. Tret pretty astounding.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Do you know what one of the things though, that was?
- 29:07Speaker 2: And it usually it's Kenyans who win, or Ethiopians win
- 29:11Speaker 2: these races almost religiously, so this is the second time
- 29:14Speaker 2: American champion. But I always wonder about these world records
- 29:20Speaker 2: that are set, you know, two hours seven minutes, two
- 29:23Speaker 2: hours ten minutes. They're different races. If you're running the
- 29:29Speaker 2: Boston Marathon, it's a different course than the LA marathon.
- 29:33Speaker 3: I'm assuming it's the world of record for each marathon.
- 29:36Speaker 2: But even then the courses are different, aren't they marathon
- 29:40Speaker 2: to marathon?
- 29:41Speaker 3: But there so, where do you get a world record?
- 29:44Speaker 5: How does that make any sense? Because you're finishing a
- 29:47Speaker 5: certain mileage.
- 29:49Speaker 2: I know, but it's a different course. But it's a
- 29:51Speaker 2: let's say you're uphill more than the other course.
- 29:54Speaker 6: Well that could be said of the Olympics too. Then,
- 29:56Speaker 6: if you're looking at skiing, the world are set on
- 29:59Speaker 6: different mountains.
- 30:00Speaker 2: That's correct, That is you're absolutely right, You're absolutely right.
- 30:06Speaker 3: It doesn't matter. She's right, it's different mountains.
- 30:08Speaker 2: And even if there is and and people win by
- 30:10Speaker 2: hundreds of a second and so like here, and if
- 30:14Speaker 2: it's a different course.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Different days, different time of the day.
- 30:17Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, morning to afternoon snow is
- 30:21Speaker 2: a different condition.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Radio.
- 30:24Speaker 5: I mean, there just might not be much to listen
- 30:26Speaker 5: to in the morning in La.
- 30:29Speaker 3: You know.
- 30:30Speaker 2: I don't know why you're still here, Neil. It just
- 30:34Speaker 2: absolutely floors me that you're still No, you don't, yeah
- 30:39Speaker 2: I do. No, No, you don't.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Well me and that shirt you're wearing. No, there you are.
- 30:44Speaker 2: See, this is why, this is why we're not on TV.
- 30:47Speaker 2: All right, guys, we're done. What's happening with the United States,
- 30:51Speaker 2: what's happening with the Rawan and and particularly southern California
- 30:54Speaker 2: because we are affected more than most. And I'll explain why.
- 30:58Speaker 3: This is KFI. I am sixty. You've been listening to
- 31:02Speaker 3: the Bill Handle Show.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Catch My Show Monday through Friday six am to nine am,
- 31:07Speaker 2: and anytime on demand on the iHeartRadio app
