In Nehemiah 5, Nehemiah sees the poor being treated unfairly and helps them by asking the rich to be kind and not overcharge. In Nehemiah 6, people try to scare Nehemiah to stop him from rebuilding Jerusalem's wall. He stays brave, doesn't give in to fear, and finishes the wall. Nehemiah 7:1-3 talks about Nehemiah setting up guards for the city and giving instructions on how to keep the city safe. This teaches us to be fair, brave, and responsible in taking care of what we have worked hard to build.
