- 6:06Speaker 1: What was that?
- 6:11Speaker 1: What was that?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Ct?
- 6:13Speaker 6: Old like me.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Old like you.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yes, old like you.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Old, oh yeah, old, but not forgotten.

- 6:23Speaker 1: Ct.
- 6:25Speaker 1: You're a garbage.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Oh my God.

- 6:34Speaker 6: How's my hair look?
- 6:39Speaker 6: How's my hair look as good as mine.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It's about as good as mine.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Anyways.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I think you should wear that every day.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Who CT or me?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Alright, this is very presidential that we have a precedent.
- 7:02Speaker 1: What the hell?
- 7:04Speaker 1: What's happening here?
- 7:06Speaker 1: Anyways, oh my God, vote for bourbon, yes for sure.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Just know that.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Let's get to what we're actually going to be tasting tonight.
- 7:22Speaker 1: We all picked up this bottle I believe it was just sometime late August, I think I was able to and we all got one.
- 7:31Speaker 1: This is the Smashing, this is Few Spirits.
- 7:35Speaker 1: They're Smashing Pumpkins release and it is bourbon that is proofed down with.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Oh my God, madam Zulu's.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Midnight.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Rose Tea.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I've got sunglasses on, not actual, actual reading glasses, but this bottle is a pretty good bottle.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Um, we were all exciting.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Uh, it was done with this, uh, with, uh, with, uh, paul, don't go.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I, I mean I'm, I'm what hell go, paul.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Yes, and he did this with the Smashing Pumpkins.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I mean they actually came in and did a bunch of different tests and different ways of he's picking his nose, huh.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Are you cleaning out your good nostril there?
- 8:38Speaker 1: Oh my God, I God, anyways this.
- 8:48Speaker 4: I just want to give you a little history about the Smashing Pumpkins.
- 8:52Speaker 4: They're an American alternative rock band from Chicago and that's one of the reasons why Paul let go because he is a music enthusiast and used to being a rock band himself and they were formed in 1988 by frontman and guitarist Billy Corgan and guitarist James La and bassist Darcy Retsky and drummer Jimmy Chamberlain.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Redsky and drummer Jimmy Chamberlain.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yes, and they were able to do that and pick out this particular.
- 9:33Speaker 1: And when we were with Paul when we went to FU, one of the unique things that I really think that he did do when we were there that that I was impressed with was he was, you know, proofing down with the tea and that was one of the cool things I thought you know overall about this.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Now I haven't opened it.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Has anybody opened theirs yet?
- 9:56Speaker 4: because I have not oh yeah, I opened mine because I had to uh, have a pour in the glass before I put the bottle in my pumpkin, you can open it.
- 10:04Speaker 2: So hi Ann, Ann's watching and John's chiming in.
- 10:10Speaker 2: He says that he picked up the Chicago Smokewoods, Cherrywood Smoked Malt Whiskey 93 proof.
- 10:22Speaker 4: That does sound tasty.
- 10:23Speaker 2: That's what he picked up today.
- 10:25Speaker 2: And then he says start sniffing, joe.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I mean CTE, lol, yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And then oh my God, it's like, yeah, now I get to figure out.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Now this isn't as bad as with macaulay.
- 10:43Speaker 1: I think there's a actual place on it.
- 11:32Speaker 1: But you know, with the sunglasses on, being burman, johnson, you know you've got to do things without seeing.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Now I've got a special bottle that that I thought was kind of cool.
- 11:42Speaker 1: That I'm going to do later.
- 11:43Speaker 1: But and it's good that john's on I'm just now sending out we'll talk about that later some, some stuff out to some people.
- 11:52Speaker 4: I can't believe I didn't do this earlier because I was thinking that, uh, I got a bourbon has a mash bill of 70 corn, 20 rye% rye, 10% two-row malted barley, and it was proofed from around 62% to 46.2% using midnight rose, which is a blend of black tea scented with rose petals that's said to contribute flavors of rosewater and sandalwood to the whiskey.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Hey, I don't know if you guys have noticed this, but Arnold Schwarzenegger is red, he's white, he's kind of red.
- 12:43Speaker 4: I'm here to pump this podcast up.
- 12:50Speaker 7: I'm sorry, Joe, but this is super national.
- 12:52Speaker 7: Here you go.
- 12:57Speaker 1: All right, she's pouring out the samples on it.
- 12:59Speaker 1: We popped this baby.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I guess we're just going to play this one by ear tonight, because I have no idea how this is going or what.
- 13:12Speaker 1: It's probably my.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'm probably the most discombobulated I've been in a long time.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Oh, I'm not going to put that there, let's put it in between.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I just don't even know half the time what I'm doing right now.
- 13:27Speaker 1: All right, let's see.
- 13:29Speaker 1: There we go, we're back on and we're still live.
- 13:32Speaker 1: We've got a couple people on YouTube.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Let's hope that that keeps going.
- 13:38Speaker 1: You're a ditzy blonde tonight.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I'm not going to say anything to that.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I'm not getting in trouble with that question, alright.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Ct your costume is just totally throwing me for a.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I just keep looking at it and, yeah, normally you're just all over this and you are playing the role perfectly.
- 14:16Speaker 6: Perfect.
- 14:16Speaker 6: Listen to me when I say what was I going to say?
- 14:21Speaker 6: Hold on, I forgot what I was going to say, Gil.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Oh my God, here look All right.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Anyways, all right.
- 14:34Speaker 1: So let's just kind of review on some of the things that are coming up Now.
- 14:39Speaker 1: We all have it in our glasses, I would have to say the nose on it is pretty potent and kind of has a really nice nose.
- 14:47Speaker 1: What do you think there?
- 14:48Speaker 1: Okay, miss Ultra Box costume wearer, alright, anyways.
- 15:01Speaker 6: Pee on the nose.
- 15:07Speaker 4: I can't you say you got pee on your nose.
- 15:10Speaker 4: It's a straw, but it smells like pee.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Joe's sniffing the people.
- 15:19Speaker 1: That's what Joe said.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Hey, you should bite the end of that.
- 15:27Speaker 1: You should bite that straw.
- 15:29Speaker 1: There's not much straw around here.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I would say the rose.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I can smell the rose.
- 15:37Speaker 1: You can smell the rose, the petals, you can smell that aspect.
- 15:41Speaker 1: It kind of comes and goes.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Just slightly in there, but it's there.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Yeah, very nice yeah.
- 15:49Speaker 1: So before we get this, um, before we start the official barrel bashing of the few spirits of smashing pumpkins on this halloween special, I want to talk about a couple things that's coming up.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Uh, just so you know, this Saturday is Whiskey Thief Festival.

- 16:28Speaker 1: So we will be promoting the Whiskey Thief that morning, the Whiskey Thief Festival.
- 16:34Speaker 1: So come on out.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Going to be down in Bardstown for a little bit of time meeting up with Walker Walker's coming back.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I believe he comes back tomorrow at some time.
- 16:46Speaker 1: He's in Germany tonight.
- 16:48Speaker 1: He was going to try and make the podcast.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Hey, steve, it's good to see that you're here.
- 16:55Speaker 1: My friend Steven Pitzer, or the doppelganger of Matt Groves, whether or not it's hard to tell the difference between the two.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Matt's like a foot taller.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I meant from looking.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Steve is matt's mini me all right, all right, anyways.
- 17:23Speaker 1: So we have that, but then also we have the.
- 17:26Speaker 1: We also have the scotchy bourbon boys christmas party coming up, friday, december 27th, that is the friday after christmas.
- 17:36Speaker 1: It is going to be at jervasi stillhouse and, um, everybody's invited.
- 17:41Speaker 1: It seems to be pretty big.
- 17:42Speaker 1: We've got a nice list.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I know some people are coming up and there's going to be some people traveling, so that's pretty good.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Hey, joe, wake up.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Anyways.
- 17:53Speaker 1: And then also I'm working on, but I believe friday, december 13th, uh, roxy and myself will be at four roses to do a podcast with uh.
- 18:04Speaker 1: We're gonna do a podcast with, uh, brent elliott, so hopefully that goes.
- 18:10Speaker 1: So those are kind of things that are coming up.
- 18:12Speaker 1: But also know that, um, uh, you know we've got a lot of things, but if you haven't, uh, last weekend I was with alex castle, uh, the new master distiller of augusta distillery.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Uh, that podcast was a pretty good one, so go back and check that out.
- 18:30Speaker 1: If you haven't yet, you can either watch it on Facebook or you can watch it on or listen to it on your favorite podcast formats.
- 18:38Speaker 1: All right, so, anyways, this is now Roxy.
- 18:43Speaker 1: This is now the section of hey, joe, do you want to introduce it officially here, do you?
- 18:51Speaker 1: This is the barrel bashing section of the podcast, joe.
- 18:58Speaker 2: He put Kool-Aid in his bourbon, anyways.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Anyways, we'll get back to Joe later.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Alright, this is Oldisville sponsored barrel bash.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Old louisville bourbons and rice.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Uh, make sure that you go down and check it out.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Uh, fantastic uh, whiskeys and bourbons that uh amin puts out down at the Old Louisville Whiskey Company in Old Louisville.
- 19:32Speaker 1: So here we go.
- 19:33Speaker 1: This is our barrel bashing segment.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Our barrel bashing segment consists of our barrel bashing scale of rating bourbons.
- 19:43Speaker 1: The barrel bashing scale is based off of four different categories.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Category number one is the nose or the smell.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Category number two is the body, three taste, four, finish.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Each category we rate with a barrel bash.
- 20:01Speaker 1: The first, the nose or the smell, can give the total of a four, the total of a four, the also.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Then the same total of a four can be given to the body of the of the whiskey or bourbon.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And then, in the last two categories, you can give a total score of five for the taste or the finish.
- 20:24Speaker 1: That they can score fives.
- 20:26Speaker 1: But if one category is exceptional, you can give it a one.
- 20:32Speaker 1: But up, up, up, up, anyways.
- 20:35Speaker 1: So the most that a bourbon can do if it's perfect is get a 19 of 18.
- 20:40Speaker 1: So let's start the category.
- 20:43Speaker 1: What we do is the four of us are here, each one.
- 20:46Speaker 1: We're going to nose it, we're going to taste it and then we're going to nose it, we're going to taste it and then we're going to go, and we'll take a time on each category and each person can give a description of what they're tasting and smelling In the end when we total it.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Joe, wake up.
- 20:58Speaker 1: He's getting tired again.
- 21:02Speaker 4: I know it's past your nap time, but he keeps swirling that Kool-Aid and I think he's putting them into a trance.
- 21:09Speaker 1: That is like the largest.
- 21:11Speaker 1: That's a bourbon.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Jesus, I'm right there with you.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Alright anyways.
- 21:20Speaker 1: So each person will give their Score in the end.
- 21:24Speaker 1: We'll add them up and we'll divide by four and that will be the rating system of this smash special, special release from few uh spirits of the smashing pumpkins.
- 21:37Speaker 1: All right, let's all take some time.
- 21:41Speaker 1: It's kind of bizarre nosing from a skull.
- 21:48Speaker 1: These are pretty cool.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I got this in there.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I got the whole kit with the decanter for this particular podcast.
- 21:59Speaker 1: You can see this one.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Here is the skeleton.
- 22:04Speaker 1: It used to have a hat.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Okay, so we'll just do that.
- 22:06Speaker 1: That's what it used to look like, but I decided before.
- 22:11Speaker 1: When I did it it just fell off and broke, so I basically can.
- 22:16Speaker 1: It's going to be interesting to see about what's in that there.
- 22:20Speaker 4: So here we go crush this glass with my overwhelming strength.
- 22:27Speaker 4: That was me.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Oh, that was you.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Okay, we're going to bump in the night.
- 22:28Speaker 4: What was that?
- 22:29Speaker 4: I mean, I don't crush this glass with my overwhelming strength.
- 22:30Speaker 2: That was me.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Oh, that was you.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Okay, we're going to bump in the night, mm-hmm.
- 22:39Speaker 1: That's not.
- 22:40Speaker 1: That's interesting.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I actually like that.
- 22:45Speaker 1: So one of the things that Paul does is he uses tea to proof down alcohol instead of water, and it's not like he uses flavored teas or he uses other type teas.
- 22:58Speaker 1: He uses really kind of cool natural tea leaves to proof it down.
- 23:04Speaker 1: It adds a certain kind of flavor and if you're a fan of iced tea unsweet iced tea there's a little bit of essence happening in this particular um bottle and I'm kind of impressed because when we left from doing uh, the few spirits, uh podcast that we did a couple years ago when we went to chicago, I think it was actually last year.
- 23:28Speaker 1: It's not been a couple years, but it was last year.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Um, we, um, I was impressed with the oolong tea, the one he um, you know, whatever tea midnight, rosewood tea midnight rose tea.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Is that Hunter Stroh?
- 24:04Speaker 1: no, that's actually Hunter acting like Joe.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Listen here.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Is that a?
- 24:08Speaker 6: microphone.
- 24:08Speaker 6: No, that's actually Hunter acting like Joe.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Listen here.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Is that a?
- 24:12Speaker 6: microphone.
- 24:13Speaker 6: I don't know what trash truck you think you drive, but don't talk about my son.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Is that a microphone or a crackpot?
- 24:23Speaker 1: Sorry, oh, it's getting a little bit.
- 24:27Speaker 1: We're just having fun here.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Alright, I don't think you poured enough of this for me to, so it's very drinkable, so, alright, I need a little bit more to be able to do.
- 24:43Speaker 1: You want me to do it?
- 24:44Speaker 1: Or, okay, you can do it.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Thank you, does that?
- 24:48Speaker 1: Oh, this is interesting.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Good, thank you.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Oh, I don't.
- 24:59Speaker 1: It's like I'm just, this is yeah, I'm liking this podcast, that's for sure.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, let's just do it.
- 25:05Speaker 1: All right, who wants to go first on the nose?
- 25:08Speaker 1: We're going to rotate, roxy, you start us off.
- 25:12Speaker 1: We're going to rotate around.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Who goes first?
- 25:14Speaker 1: But what do you think about the nose?
- 25:17Speaker 2: I think the nose had some very unique Special qualities to it.
- 25:22Speaker 2: I really like the nose so I'm going to give it a 4.
- 25:26Speaker 1: She gives the nose a 4, you can really smell the rose, so I'm going to give it a four.
- 25:31Speaker 2: She gives the nose a four.
- 25:32Speaker 2: You can really smell the rose.
- 25:38Speaker 1: But not so much that you're like oh it's perfumey, let's see about this.
- 25:41Speaker 1: All right, all right, I'm just trying to see.
- 25:46Speaker 1: All right, I don't trying to see.
- 25:48Speaker 1: All right, I don't know if you can hear it on Facebook, but I've got the new microphone so I'm hoping you can hear it.
- 25:54Speaker 1: All right, that's a four.
- 25:57Speaker 1: So that is.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Hey Joe, what are you going to give this one?
- 26:00Speaker 1: You can just hold up some fingers.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Well, I find it interesting.
- 26:06Speaker 6: There's a woman in black who's keeping up with our team, by the way, great movie.
- 26:10Speaker 6: But I only smell latex, rubber and plastic.
- 26:18Speaker 6: So, with that being said, I do get a hint of the rose petal.
- 26:28Speaker 6: Yep, a little rose petal, a little rose pill, a little tea leaf.
- 26:39Speaker 6: So I'm going to give it.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Joe Joe.
- 26:52Speaker 6: Hold on a second, a reed, a reed.
- 26:55Speaker 6: Hold on a second Three, three.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Three Shit's falling off, it's just, it makes sense.
- 27:05Speaker 1: All right, all right, super Nash.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Super Nash, Come on Muscles.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Look, Roxy, I think this is.
- 27:15Speaker 4: It's got some unique aromas to it and it's amazing.
- 27:24Speaker 4: It's kind of tickling my nose and I'm going to have to give it a four Johnson's snorting it over here.
- 27:33Speaker 2: So what did you?
- 27:33Speaker 6: give it.
- 27:34Speaker 6: I didn't say he was being tickled.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I said it tickled my nose when I dumped it in.
- 27:42Speaker 6: Joe likes tickles.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Super nice.
- 27:47Speaker 1: What did you give it?
- 27:49Speaker 4: Gave it a four.
- 27:50Speaker 4: I'm getting like vanilla caramel, I'm getting like the black tea, and then I'm getting a little bit of that rose and then just sort of like an earthy smell to it.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I like it.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I would say I also like it.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I would say on everything that this is.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I think the nose probably is its strong point at this point, so I will give it a four also.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Yeah, a few beers.
- 28:29Speaker 1: You guys hear that this time you hear me banging away.
- 28:34Speaker 1: No, no, can you hear this?
- 28:43Speaker 6: Negative.
- 28:43Speaker 6: Negative.
- 28:46Speaker 4: Ghost Rider.
- 28:47Speaker 4: How about this?
- 28:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah it just doesn't come through.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Alright, this is.
- 29:01Speaker 1: John says.
- 29:03Speaker 1: This is effing funny.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Four other no's agree.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Alright, cause John did, I believe, didn't.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Isn't John the one who got us the bottles?
- 29:15Speaker 1: Yes, I, I believe so, right.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Yeah, so he's tasting along.
- 29:19Speaker 4: We could not be doing this without our friend John yes, the Smashing Pumpkins yes.
- 29:26Speaker 5: Walker says he fell asleep.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Jumping in Walker's in after falling.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's 1 o'clock in the morning in Germany, so, yeah, that's normal for someone to fall asleep, alright, so anyways, alright, hey Joe, you're going to start us off on the body.
- 29:46Speaker 6: Oh, she had a good body.
- 29:51Speaker 4: I bet, so I do remember that.
- 29:56Speaker 1: No.
- 30:03Speaker 6: I'm going to give it a D.
- 30:04Speaker 6: I mean what?
- 30:06Speaker 4: I bet, I bet so.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Hey cheers, matt, good to have you on.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Hey cheers, matt, good to have you on.
- 30:20Speaker 1: It's just like ah CT for the win.
- 30:25Speaker 1: That's what John is.
- 30:27Speaker 4: That's Joe to you.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 30:33Speaker 4: Super Nash, you go next.
- 30:33Speaker 4: What did Joe give it?
- 30:35Speaker 4: A, D, a, d, a, d.
- 30:37Speaker 4: You go next.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Uh what?
- 30:38Speaker 1: did?
- 30:38Speaker 1: What did joe give it d?
- 30:39Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 30:41Speaker 1: I think that's a four because I think there's a four.
- 30:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna put d down here randy ford's watching on uh youtube and says are we all having a few?
- 31:00Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 31:02Speaker 1: It's just for a few of us.
- 31:05Speaker 1: All.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Right for me what?
- 31:07Speaker 1: Did you give it?
- 31:08Speaker 1: A three on the body?
- 31:09Speaker 1: Or did you not give it anything there, nash?
- 31:18Speaker 4: I think I'm going to give it a three.
- 31:25Speaker 1: There's a lot of flavor in it.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I would say don't go to the cheeks though.
- 31:30Speaker 1: No, it doesn't go to the cheeks.
- 31:32Speaker 1: It's not thick and filling the mouth just like that.
- 31:37Speaker 4: It's kind of thin.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I mean, it is what?
- 31:41Speaker 1: 90-something.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Let's see 46.2 ABV, that's 92.4.
- 31:48Speaker 1: 92.4.
- 31:50Speaker 1: It's not a low, but still I would say I'm going to go honestly, yeah, for a 92.4 or 94.2 or whatever the hell we talked about.
- 32:17Speaker 1: I would say that's a lot of flavor, it's not spicy but and it's not really oily it.
- 32:22Speaker 1: It kind of is a little.
- 32:23Speaker 1: It's easy, but there's a lot of flavor.
- 32:26Speaker 2: so I'm gonna go with three on that, what you're gonna do I would say that I like what it does in the front of your mouth.
- 32:42Speaker 2: I wish that continued all the way to the cheeks and to the back.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Um, but yes, it's very flavorful, so I'll say three, three.
- 32:56Speaker 4: Three.
- 32:58Speaker 1: All right.
- 32:59Speaker 1: So the next one.
- 33:01Speaker 1: I will go.
- 33:01Speaker 1: First is the taste.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Very simple, on the front of your tongue there's a little bit of sweetness, but the bourbon and the tea blend together on that back palate.
- 33:25Speaker 1: And then so there's a to me.
- 33:29Speaker 1: I pick up a little bit of licorice, little anise maybe.
- 33:33Speaker 1: If you want to go by, I get a little anise, Not?
- 33:37Speaker 6: you want to go by, I get not your ass, joe this is not the show for that kind of talk, sir not your ass.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Talk about Pluto or Uranus whoa, whoa, whoa it's a planet Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 34:01Speaker 4: It's a planet what?
- 34:05Speaker 1: were you going to say there, Joe?
- 34:07Speaker 1: Oh my God, it wasn't even a bad comment.
- 34:10Speaker 4: I'm getting, like you guys are proof.
- 34:11Speaker 4: I think he forgot what he was going to say.
- 34:14Speaker 1: No, it was some.
- 34:14Speaker 1: So as it goes, it goes, then it goes to the I believe it was and that's where I pick up a lot of the rows.
- 34:23Speaker 1: So on the taste, I would say this is a real, this is a really good average taste, taste, it's, it's, it's what.
- 34:37Speaker 1: So I'm going to just, I'm just on this.
- 34:39Speaker 1: On the taste itself, it's a two.
- 34:45Speaker 4: What'd you say, BJ?
- 34:46Speaker 4: You give it, BJ.
- 34:52Speaker 4: Who's oh Pervin?
- 34:54Speaker 1: Johnson, I said two, that's okay.
- 34:59Speaker 4: All right, BJ gives it a two.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Bourbon Johnson gives it a two Bourbon.
- 35:04Speaker 4: Johnson.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Well, I was trying to keep it short.
- 35:11Speaker 1: All right, Joe.
- 35:14Speaker 1: What do you give it as far as a taste?
- 35:16Speaker 1: No.
- 35:20Speaker 4: He put the straw in the bottle.
- 35:25Speaker 4: I put the salad with the Kool-Aid.
- 35:26Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 35:30Speaker 6: This is the best part right here.
- 35:31Speaker 6: I don't know what happened.
- 35:33Speaker 1: It's a juice box, Joe.
- 35:39Speaker 6: That's the oh, settle down Stroll.
- 35:44Speaker 4: I'm going to grab this up.
- 35:46Speaker 4: He's going straight to the bottle, folks, straight to the bottle I'm going to give this a 995.
- 35:54Speaker 5: Woo.
- 35:57Speaker 4: There he goes, giving away our taxes again.
- 35:59Speaker 1: A 995.
- 36:01Speaker 1: A nine, so you're looking at I don't know, all right.
- 36:16Speaker 4: That would be a five 995.
- 36:24Speaker 1: He gives it a five.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the most you can give.
- 36:28Speaker 1: It is a five.
- 36:29Speaker 1: My world is mine.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I'm trying to give everybody on YouTube we got.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Joe covered up, and so I'm trying to uncover him up.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I think I've successfully done that.
- 36:43Speaker 1: We'll see.
- 36:44Speaker 1: All right, let's see.
- 36:45Speaker 4: John would like to know, is that 2%?
- 36:47Speaker 4: Bourbon, joe Hold on a second.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Yep, you can see him now on YouTube.
- 36:53Speaker 1: See I uncovered him up.
- 36:55Speaker 1: That's a nice setup there, ct, though, joe, it's very presidential, are you?
- 37:01Speaker 6: in the Oval Wait.
- 37:01Speaker 6: A second Wait.
- 37:02Speaker 6: I forgot to do this.
- 37:03Speaker 6: This is for you, hillary.
- 37:09Speaker 5: What went wrong?
- 37:10Speaker 5: Shut up.
- 37:12Speaker 6: I love doing that.
- 37:16Speaker 1: All right, Roxy Joe gave it a five.
- 37:19Speaker 1: What's you giving it?
- 37:22Speaker 2: 997 he gave it.
- 37:27Speaker 6: Are we on the prices right?
- 37:29Speaker 6: Did she just overbid me by $2?
- 37:34Speaker 4: I think she did.
- 37:38Speaker 6: I told you that black, whatever the heck she is Got to watch out.
- 37:42Speaker 6: Hey, hold on a second.
- 37:43Speaker 6: Did I tell you all?
- 37:44Speaker 2: I'm a wolf.
- 37:46Speaker 6: Vote Berman.
- 37:50Speaker 4: See that she's a wolf.
- 37:52Speaker 2: It's not very complex.
- 37:54Speaker 2: So because of that, although I do like the taste, it's pleasant and enjoyable, but I'm going to give it a 2 because there's one taste and one taste only.
- 38:05Speaker 4: Ooh, $9.97.
- 38:06Speaker 4: I thought you said $9.97.
- 38:11Speaker 4: 2.
- 38:11Speaker 4: It'd be $9.98.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Alright, super Nash, you go first on the Two.
- 38:17Speaker 1: It would be 998.
- 38:17Speaker 1: All right, super Nash, you go first on the finish.
- 38:23Speaker 4: I'm going to go last on the taste.
- 38:24Speaker 4: You didn't want my score.
- 38:30Speaker 1: I want your score.
- 38:31Speaker 4: We're just going to throw my score out of the door.
- 38:36Speaker 1: on the taste Out the door on the floor of the score.
- 38:40Speaker 6: I'm going to use the face shot because my face is a little warm.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I am an old wizard.
- 38:52Speaker 4: I don't know what to think about the taste.
- 38:54Speaker 4: To be honest, I don't know what to think about the taste, to be honest.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Each time I sip on it, it's like that rose petal hits the tip of my tongue and I sort of get that perfumey sort of flavor and then, once that sort of goes away, then I might start to taste just a little bit of caramel or maybe vanilla, but then just a little bit of that little bit of oakiness.
- 39:27Speaker 4: But I'm going to have to give it a two.
- 39:30Speaker 4: You give it a two.
- 39:35Speaker 7: You give it a two 995.
- 39:39Speaker 1: You won.
- 39:39Speaker 1: You won on that one, Joe.
- 39:41Speaker 6: Joe always wins, beth.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Before we go one further, because I am, since John supplied us with these bottles.
- 39:52Speaker 4: I'm keeping up with his scores too, so I'd like to know what John gives it on the taste.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Yeah, we would love to John.
- 40:01Speaker 1: He's probably rolling on the floor.
- 40:06Speaker 4: John, when you get up on the floor, can you give us a score on the taste?
- 40:13Speaker 1: All right, but you can while he.
- 40:21Speaker 1: I'll watch it to see what he's chiming in.
- 40:22Speaker 1: You got Greg Schneider watching and he said he's an old whiskey distiller and he knows that we were doing this Smashing Pumpkin edition and what it was, and he just then put in you get, then put in.
- 40:37Speaker 1: You see is what you get.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Okay, so you know, nice nose, good body, taste is average.
- 40:46Speaker 1: We're waiting for John.
- 40:49Speaker 1: He says he's giving it a two as well.
- 40:54Speaker 4: And I got it written.
- 40:55Speaker 1: So, Super Nash the finish.
- 40:56Speaker 1: What do?
- 40:56Speaker 1: So, Super Nash the finish.
- 40:57Speaker 1: What do you think of the finish?
- 40:59Speaker 1: Give that baby up to a number 5 again the finish that.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I'm just going to throw this in.
- 41:18Speaker 1: If you love the smell and taste of roses, this is your bourbon.
- 41:24Speaker 1: If you love that, I know a lot of.
- 41:28Speaker 1: I love this.
- 41:30Speaker 4: I know a lot of women that would love this.
- 41:32Speaker 4: To me it's just a little bit.
- 41:39Speaker 4: The rose just overtakes it just a little bit too much.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Too floral, yeah, floral.
- 41:45Speaker 4: The floral note of this just overwhelms it, just a little bit too much for me and takes away from the other qualities of the bourbon itself, and so I'm going to have to give it a two.
- 42:04Speaker 1: A two on the finish.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, roxy, the finish is just an extension of the taste.
- 42:12Speaker 2: It's very long, though.
- 42:14Speaker 2: You'll have a nice long finish of exactly what you tasted.
- 42:19Speaker 2: So if you really like the taste, you can just keep on enjoying that.
- 42:23Speaker 2: So I'm going to give it a 2.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Not because it doesn't have a good long finish, just because it's not very complex and it's just more of the same.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Wouldn't you say Martin?
- 42:37Speaker 2: It just just more of the same of the taste, wouldn't you say Martin?
- 42:38Speaker 2: It just finishes exactly how you like it to taste?
- 42:41Speaker 4: Yeah, it doesn't, you know, finish very well in the fruit, doesn't?
- 42:45Speaker 4: It just carries over just that, that rose and all that floral and you don't have too much complexity to the other flavors in there.
- 42:58Speaker 2: But it's good, I mean it's a yeah.
- 43:02Speaker 4: Yeah, it's good, it tastes good, but it's just.
- 43:07Speaker 2: No there's nothing.
- 43:09Speaker 4: You know bitter or sour or funky or moldy, joe.
- 43:11Speaker 4: But yeah, I agree with you.
- 43:13Speaker 4: The finish is not really there for me, and that's just my opinion and yours, so let's go on to.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Joe, how did you finish?
- 43:26Speaker 4: Joe, how did you finish?
- 43:28Speaker 6: First of all, let's understand that Joe always finishes.
- 43:32Speaker 6: Let's understand this because I always finishes.
- 43:36Speaker 6: Let's understand this because I always finish, except when it comes to September, october, november.
- 43:45Speaker 6: I didn't finish those three months, but okay, usually I finish.
- 43:52Speaker 1: All right, well, finish what you think about this.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Finish of this bourbon, yeah.
- 43:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Back.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Really Not with.
- 44:01Speaker 1: It's not supposed to be finishing with Kool-Aid.
- 44:04Speaker 1: He's drinking Kool-Aid in his bourbon and he's going to tell us.
- 44:15Speaker 6: Not Kool-Aid.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Okay, it's a fluid John.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Okay, it's a Capri Juicy.
- 44:24Speaker 4: It's Hawaiian Punch, hawaiian Punch.
- 44:30Speaker 1: That's the juice bottle.
- 44:33Speaker 6: How is it with Hawaiian Punch Joe?
- 44:35Speaker 4: Oh, no, I haven't put Hawaiian Punch in it, that's just a full glass of whiskey.
- 44:38Speaker 4: That's my vitamin.
- 44:43Speaker 6: I'm going to give the finish give it to us straight, jeff, we can handle the truth if you take 10 and you subtract 9 and you add 1, you divide that by 2, and then jump ahead 1 and fall back 1, but then you get a bonus 1 up.
- 45:14Speaker 6: That's what I give it.
- 45:18Speaker 4: That's 2.
- 45:19Speaker 4: Was it that's two?
- 45:20Speaker 4: Was it two or one?
- 45:20Speaker 4: He gave it a two he lost me when he jumped off the truck he lost me when he divided two by two.
- 45:33Speaker 2: This dog is good at math.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I just hit two, because you told me it was two divided by two, by two.
- 45:35Speaker 1: I come up with.
- 45:36Speaker 1: This dog is good at math.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I just hit two because you told me it was two.
- 45:39Speaker 1: I didn't have to worry about all that math.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Alright, so I'm going to F you all up.
- 45:45Speaker 1: I think the finish is long and it tastes like.
- 45:50Speaker 4: Hey, didn't Joe tell you this is not a show for that kind of language.
- 45:55Speaker 1: I said Anyways, I'm your happy place, didn't?
- 45:56Speaker 3: Joe tell you, this is not a show for that kind of language.
- 45:57Speaker 1: I said anyways, I'm your happy place.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Let me just let me be clear about what I think of this finish.
- 46:08Speaker 1: I want to be clear, all right.
- 46:12Speaker 4: Okay, BJ.
- 46:14Speaker 1: I think because I was raised by a middle-class family.
- 46:22Speaker 6: That's funny, because I was too.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Anyways, I also think this is the best finish any bourbon has ever had.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Ever.
- 46:40Speaker 5: You got owned.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Super natch, it's super natch.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I think this is the it's.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Obviously.
- 46:49Speaker 1: It's just the best bourbon that you could ever have.
- 46:51Speaker 1: It just is because we're drinking it.
- 46:54Speaker 4: Come on down honey.
- 46:55Speaker 1: But anyways, I will say I'm going to go on this finish, I'm going to go with a four.
- 47:01Speaker 4: Oh, wow you are stepping out on a limb there.
- 47:05Speaker 1: I'm going with the four, 100%, because I do appreciate the length of it and it's almost like if you drink this on Valentine's Day, you know.
- 47:16Speaker 1: But also I'm very curious with the rose aspect of it, with the Smashing Pumpkins when they were doing this in these tastings, how they went with.
- 47:26Speaker 1: You know that.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Are we talking about a red rose?
- 47:31Speaker 1: Are we talking about a black rose?
- 47:33Speaker 1: You know what are we talking about, right?
- 47:35Speaker 4: This is finished with rose tea, madam.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Hold on Bourbon Johnson.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Madam Zuzu.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Madam Zuzu's midnight rose tea.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Madam Zuzu's midnight rose tea.
- 47:53Speaker 1: There you go.
- 47:53Speaker 1: I actually use the tools that I'm supposed to instead of the darkness.
- 47:57Speaker 6: So I'm going to give it.
- 47:57Speaker 6: It's going to be hard to delete, but I know.
- 48:01Speaker 1: You know, madam Zuzu Joe.
- 48:04Speaker 6: Yeah, she and I go way back.
- 48:07Speaker 6: We got Joe Biden.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I mean I think, hey, joe, do you think you're going to go on Joe Rogan?
- 48:17Speaker 1: You should go on Joe Rogan coming up Bourbon Johnson.
- 48:21Speaker 6: You can't take enough of me.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Anyways, okay, so we got the totals here.
- 48:28Speaker 2: That would be an average score of 13.5.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Oh my.
- 48:31Speaker 6: God Wait, a second.
- 48:33Speaker 6: I gave one a 90.
- 48:35Speaker 6: 95.
- 48:38Speaker 4: John, what did you give it on the finish?
- 48:41Speaker 1: Hey Nash, she already came up with the scores.
- 48:47Speaker 2: A total of 47 and an average of 13.5.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I think Joe gave it.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Did Joe give it a two?
- 48:53Speaker 1: He gave it a two.
- 48:54Speaker 1: I think Joe gave it did.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Joe give it a two.
- 48:55Speaker 4: Two to Joe.
- 48:55Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, he said a two.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Yeah, so the final scores between Joe, joe, super Nash, tiny and Roxy.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Why didn't you put Joe in there?
- 49:05Speaker 1: You didn't Okay, so it's third.
- 49:09Speaker 2: What did he do for nose and body, two for?
- 49:11Speaker 1: nose two for.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Just two across.
- 49:13Speaker 2: What did Joe?
- 49:14Speaker 1: do Nash?
- 49:15Speaker 1: What was his first two?
- 49:17Speaker 1: I know he got the Four three two, two, four, three, two and two Seven eight nine, ten, eleven, so you've got to add eleven into the total score and divide by five.
- 49:32Speaker 1: That's a lot of dead airspace.
- 49:53Speaker 4: I'll fill it yeah, you always feel it.
- 49:55Speaker 4: Joe's a little perplexed here.
- 49:58Speaker 6: If you're looking for filler, I'm not your guy.
- 50:01Speaker 6: No, john.
- 50:04Speaker 1: John said yeah, three for that.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Okay, so there you go light, but two, two four, three for that.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Okay, so there you go.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Light, but enough for a low three, all right.
- 50:16Speaker 1: So that was I mean.
- 50:20Speaker 2: That would be like an 11.6.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Okay, so we're down to 11.5.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Six 11.5.
- 50:26Speaker 4: Let's see 11.5.
- 50:27Speaker 4: Six 11.5.
- 50:28Speaker 1: Let's see 11.6.
- 50:29Speaker 1: So it's above average bourbon, I mean, because when you're talking about 18, nine is the average score.
- 50:38Speaker 1: I would say that that's what we're looking at for tonight 11.6, but 11.5 technically because there's no .6s.
- 50:46Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying, all right.
- 50:47Speaker 1: So I got a's no .6s, that's all I'm saying, all right.
- 50:49Speaker 1: So I got a special thing that I did, okay.
- 50:52Speaker 1: So we, you know Blood Oath, I've got, you know, for some reason.
- 50:57Speaker 5: I thought I got Pac-10.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Was there a Pac-10?
- 51:00Speaker 1: Was there a number 20, the 2024 Pac-10?
- 51:03Speaker 1: Black label, black label which I never got.
- 51:07Speaker 1: So we've done in the past, we've done Blood Oath it's a great holiday or Halloween bourbon.
- 51:15Speaker 1: I mean, what more bourbon can you have than a Blood Oath?
- 51:24Speaker 1: Right?
- 51:25Speaker 1: But tonight I did, in my awesome freaking, this skeleton carafe with with the skeleton, here's your little thing.
- 51:33Speaker 1: What I did is I did a frankenstein bottle of and I'm gonna do it every year, but this year it's a way to get rid of bottles.
- 51:43Speaker 1: But I had.
- 51:44Speaker 1: But I had Woodford Double Oak, I had Total Wine and More from Florida Woodford Double Oak.
- 51:55Speaker 1: I had a regular Woodford Double Oak.
- 51:58Speaker 1: I had a Wisconsin Bourbon Pick 0-2-21, the regular Double Oak, and then also Walker gave me one one.
- 52:09Speaker 1: I didn't use it all, I just finished it off.
- 52:11Speaker 1: But I put in the blackjack liquors liquor batch number two all in to one to combine it to the Frankenstein skeleton.
- 52:28Speaker 1: What would you say?
- 52:32Speaker 1: Decanter of Woodford Double Oak.
- 52:36Speaker 1: So me and Roxy are going to try this.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Oh no, concoction of Woodford Double Oak.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Awesome, I don't see how this could be bad.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Roxy, you agree to to that?
- 52:50Speaker 2: I didn't know anything about it.
- 52:52Speaker 4: That's good heavy hand pour there, didn't he?
- 53:00Speaker 4: This is only two ounces total.
- 53:02Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's tall, so it's tall.
- 53:04Speaker 1: So it's like, if this tastes as good as I think it's going to taste, joe.
- 53:09Speaker 4: Joe, what it's all us.
- 53:16Speaker 1: I'm here.
- 53:18Speaker 6: Joe, you're here, listen.
- 53:20Speaker 6: Joe wants to do a blend after you're done.
- 53:21Speaker 6: Okay, joe can blend.
- 53:22Speaker 6: That was wonderful.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Okay, okay, joke and blank.
- 53:25Speaker 4: Smells wonderful.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Okay, so I love Woodford Double Oak, and each one had a little bit more oak, some of them were a little bit more oaky.
- 53:35Speaker 1: I just like what Woodford Double Oak does I mean.
- 53:39Speaker 1: When you're talking about a $52 to $55 bottle, I think that's what it still is right On the shelf all the time.
- 53:48Speaker 1: This is is a spectacular bourbon, but the barrel picks were really good.
- 53:52Speaker 1: But I found I had the three bottles still didn't fill up a 750 milliliter and so I put in the more.
- 54:01Speaker 1: So, overall, I figured this would be a cool way to do this.
- 54:06Speaker 1: The every year on halloween do a skeleton bottle to our, a skeleton uh blend of one brand every single time.
- 54:16Speaker 1: So we're.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 54:19Speaker 1: What do you think, roxy?
- 54:21Speaker 1: smells really I think, that smells amazing she does have a straw, a straw.
- 54:27Speaker 1: The wolf needs a straw, just like Joe does, so don't criticize.
- 54:34Speaker 6: Like I have told so many people, I am a trendsetter.
- 54:39Speaker 2: Okay, guys, that is a weird taste.
- 54:43Speaker 6: Trendsetter.
- 54:47Speaker 1: It just tastes like French toast.
- 54:50Speaker 2: It doesn't taste like a Woodford Double Oak anymore.
- 54:54Speaker 1: What does it taste like to you?
- 54:55Speaker 1: You're drinking out of a straw that's probably a paper straw.
- 55:01Speaker 1: That's probably what it is.
- 55:02Speaker 2: What is it going to do to it?
- 55:05Speaker 1: Joe, what does a straw do to the taste of whiskey when you?
- 55:09Speaker 2: drink it, it still goes in my mouth and hits my tongue.
- 55:13Speaker 6: It makes it delicious.
- 55:15Speaker 2: It aerates it.
- 55:17Speaker 1: That's the first thing I think I've ever heard Like what's between those ears.
- 55:22Speaker 2: I agree with you.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Joe, it does make the whiskey taste delicious.
- 55:32Speaker 2: What do you think, Mr Know-It-All?
- 55:35Speaker 1: I would have to say that just tastes more like French toast than butterscotch.
- 55:39Speaker 1: There's an aspect it stays.
- 55:44Speaker 1: There's more of like a dark fruit on it than what fruit usually has, like there's a little bit of cherry to it.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Like a fig or a plum or something.
- 55:55Speaker 1: The couple that I put in were a little bit oaky.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Yeah, but this is not oaky.
- 56:02Speaker 2: It's not that oaky.
- 56:05Speaker 1: No.
- 56:07Speaker 2: Hi Sherry.
- 56:11Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 56:11Speaker 1: What's going on.
- 56:12Speaker 1: What's going on, super Nash.
- 56:15Speaker 2: How is it that you can put three wood for double oaks together, or four, and take some of the oak away?
- 56:22Speaker 4: Look at the screen and say cheese, cheese, all right.
- 56:26Speaker 4: One more time, here we go, cheese, alright one more time Cheese.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Where's?
- 56:33Speaker 7: Joe looking.
- 56:36Speaker 6: What is that?
- 56:38Speaker 6: That's his.
- 56:39Speaker 6: I'll see you.
- 56:39Speaker 6: I'll see you too it was.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Joe-noculars.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I'm glad Super Nash.
- 56:49Speaker 1: I'm glad, super Nash.
- 56:51Speaker 6: I'm going to use a little Hawaiian punch.
- 56:57Speaker 1: You're going to do a Hawaiian punch blend.
- 57:01Speaker 6: I just like the sound of it.
- 57:03Speaker 6: Check out this bottle, mr Biden.
- 57:07Speaker 6: Watch it come out of the gargoyle's mouth.
- 57:10Speaker 4: Check out this bottle, mr Biden.
- 57:11Speaker 4: Watch it come out of the gargoyle's mouth.
- 57:18Speaker 5: Watch it.
- 57:23Speaker 4: That's pretty cool, isn't it?
- 57:24Speaker 4: I was just wondering if you could tell my wife what to vote for when she goes to vote.
- 57:33Speaker 2: Here's my vote, or her vote.
- 57:43Speaker 6: The most important part of this blend is this straw.
- 57:46Speaker 6: You got to stir it up, you got to blow bubbles in it, because that's good for it.
- 57:52Speaker 1: So Joe Jamie's asking if that's a Von Payne bottle.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Is that the?
- 57:57Speaker 1: What Is that?
- 57:58Speaker 1: The Von Payne bottle Duh.
- 58:06Speaker 6: How many other bottles do you know with a damn gargoyle on it?
- 58:09Speaker 1: well, the gargoyle pour spout you can actually get with Bacardi rum.
- 58:17Speaker 1: They actually I actually have that spout that you.
- 58:21Speaker 6: This is the real shit.
- 58:22Speaker 6: This is on pain.
- 58:24Speaker 2: I'm out of time Super.
- 58:26Speaker 6: Ness.
- 58:31Speaker 4: Hey, Mr Biden, can you tell my wife what to vote for one more time?
- 58:37Speaker 4: You had a little card there or something earlier.
- 58:40Speaker 4: Tell her what to vote for.
- 58:42Speaker 6: Oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 58:51Speaker 4: We all vote for bourbon.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Bourbon is what you need to do yes, we vote for bourbon.
- 58:58Speaker 6: Here we go, here we go.
- 58:59Speaker 6: For the taste, I'm going to guess it's about 1160 on the score here.
- 59:07Speaker 4: She wants to be on camera, that's really odd.
- 59:10Speaker 2: Look at your daddy.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Look at that pumpkin, joe, you've got to give it up for Super Nash's pumpkin, where he basically shoved the bottle in the pumpkin itself.
- 59:26Speaker 6: I myself cannot say anything about that, because there are certain individuals who will be against him hurting that pumpkin.
- 59:35Speaker 6: So, as the great Joe that I am, I'm going to have to stand neutral on that.
- 59:43Speaker 6: Oh, you know, I do like your crayon coloring skills on the smashing part.
- 59:55Speaker 4: Well, just to be clear, it was a vegetable.
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: There's a group for that.
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: There's a group for that.
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: There's a group for that.
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: But your Crayola skills, my friend, they are on nobody's on that level, Impeccable right.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: Yes, Let me just say Hawaiian punch goes good with this.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: That was a nice blend there that you made there.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: Yes, John wants to know what you think of the other fee bottle that he snagged for you at the liquor store barrel pick.
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: Oh man, that is super tasty.
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: I like that.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: I would like to barrel bash that right now and I'll give it like an 18 out of 18.
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: Cool.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: What is it?
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: 997.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: It would be a 999.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: So what do you think?
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: What would you rank this compared to normal?
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: It's less sweet.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: It's less sweet.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Now that it's been in the glass, you pick up a little bit more oak of the double oak, I think, in my opinion, I think all those double oaks getting mixed together are just freaking out in there they are.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: I don't know they're all coming in and going out, and coming in and going out, but I still got that dark fruit.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: It's like an unsweetened dark chocolate fruit taste.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Excellent.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: All right, Joe, you got any more for us tonight.
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: Let me just say that I am about to.
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: I am about to probably fall asleep permanently because I cannot breathe so well.
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: I don't know if you had that made, but yeah, you're not supposed to wear, I don't want to know if you had that made.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: But yeah, you're not supposed to wear that mask for more than 15 minutes at a time.
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: Probably died of carbon monoxide.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Get some air in there, Joe there you go Much better, but other than that.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: He can't breathe out of his slits for ice.
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: Hey, no matter what you do and I know we don't like to vote for Berman but next Tuesday get out and vote.
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: Yeah for sure.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: And next Tuesday we will be live on election night from 8.30.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Some of the polls will be closed but uh, we will be monitoring that after the podcast.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: But we'll have our special election day podcast how to get you through election day.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: That's what it is.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: What do you?
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: do to get through because of all the stress and now that elections are not going to be finalized for four or five days, maybe that type of thing what you can do to stretch out a bourbon throughout all four to five days during these stressful times.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: So that's where this podcast is going to be.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Hey, bj, I mean Bourbon Johnson.
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: Yeah, Do you have a special election day pour that?
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: You like to kick back with?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Yes, I do, it's Dave Schmier does some very, very political pours.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: I will have the representative, and I believe there's another one I'm not exactly sure.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I don't remember exactly, but I will be featuring those the senator, yes, yes, so I will be doing the.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: There you go.
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: Thank you, I bet you are Joe.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that's one thing that you had down what?
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: was that.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: That's one thing that you had down Joe.
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: Down, yeah, something like that.
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: Yeah, hey, thanks for having me on today.
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: I just want to appreciate you having me.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: Yes, hey, thanks for staying awake.
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: It's a little past my bedtime but you know, I will say to my friend Kamala she sent me today with this Hawaiian punch and this helped me out through the night.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: She's a great gal.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Wonderful and this helped me out through the night.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: He's a great gal, wonderful.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: So one of the things that I wanted to do tonight, if you have a little bit left in your glass, whiskey's mom passed away and she passed quietly last night while him and his brother were there for it, and I want everybody, we want to honor, um, his mom.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Uh, she was a wonderful woman and she went through a lot of hard times in the end, but, uh, I want to just raise a pour a glass, uh, whatever's in your glass to Whiskey's mom, because he's feeling a little bit low tonight and we're just sharing a pour.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: This is what bourbon and whiskey is about.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: So rest in peace.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: One of our podcasters and we just we love them and uh, uh, we just want to be there for him.
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: Uh, and everybody else here's to whiskey, here's to whiskey.
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: Whiskey and your mom and your family, absolutely.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: And your brother and the rest of the family.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Yes, that's what it's about man.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: That's what it's about man.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: That's what this is about.
