- 0:03Speaker 1: And we're back already on the Woody Show of Friday Morning,
- 0:06Speaker 1: August the seventh, Greg manis, Gina, Sammy, Sea Bass, Sport Bond,
- 0:11Speaker 1: Menji Morgan, everybody but Woody and Jeff g They're going
- 0:15Speaker 1: to be back on Monday. Right now. I'm a little
- 0:18Speaker 1: bit sus but Sea Bass says he's got some Dugan news. Yeah,
- 0:23Speaker 1: special edition.
- 0:24Speaker 2: There's an emergency special edition of Dugan News. And I
- 0:28Speaker 2: imagine this would have come across your desk as well.
- 0:30Speaker 2: But John Barenthal, he is the He's the punish Sure,
- 0:34Speaker 2: he's been it was came out, He's the Walking Down
- 0:35Speaker 2: was kind of his big first mainstream thing, but he's
- 0:37Speaker 2: been in a thousand different things. Well, he has an
- 0:40Speaker 2: interview this week. A bunch of headlines about John Barenthal
- 0:43Speaker 2: defending pit bulls.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Excellent.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Now this is actually an older interview, but I guess
- 0:47Speaker 2: the reason it came out is because the Howard TERDN
- 0:49Speaker 2: channel published it this week on their YouTube channel. But
- 0:52Speaker 2: here is John talking about his three Dugans.
- 0:55Speaker 3: My dogs are the greatest and they're they're the myth
- 0:58Speaker 3: of the pit bull is a lot of people got
- 1:00Speaker 3: to stop that.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Don't attack. Yeah, it's just racism. It's just dog racism.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:06Speaker 4: If a pit bull bites you, it's going to suck
- 1:07Speaker 4: you know.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Yeah, They're no more likely to bite you than a
- 1:10Speaker 3: chihuahua or any other breeding dog.
- 1:12Speaker 2: It probably has more to do with who owns them
- 1:14Speaker 2: and how they were trained.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that a lot of knuckleheads, unfortunately, are
- 1:17Speaker 3: attracted to that breeded dog. And to me, you know,
- 1:21Speaker 3: when I see some wanna be gangster getting pulled down
- 1:23Speaker 3: the Venice Beach by his pit bull, and I'm like,
- 1:26Speaker 3: you feed that he's pulling you down there, you know,
- 1:28Speaker 3: to me, that's not manly or strong at all.
- 1:31Speaker 4: You know, I think you got to train your dog.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Okay, he's right, That's what I've been saying. And I
- 1:36Speaker 1: remember seeing this quote this week and reading it and
- 1:39Speaker 1: agreeing with it. I didn't realize it was him who
- 1:41Speaker 1: said it right, But he's totally right. It's the owner.
- 1:44Speaker 1: It's not that, it's not just the breed. I told you,
- 1:46Speaker 1: and you refuse to listen. I know two people in
- 1:49Speaker 1: my past that were literally mauled, like their faces got bitten,
- 1:53Speaker 1: and they were both cases Cocker spaniels. I got bitten
- 1:56Speaker 1: in the nose by a Chihuahua, and I got bitten
- 1:59Speaker 1: in the scrolled him by an Australian sheep dog. Australian shepherd.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Again, all these anecdotes are wonderful, but they don't have
- 2:07Speaker 2: they don't address.
- 2:08Speaker 1: So you said this was a special edition that I
- 2:10Speaker 1: would not be expecting, and now you're just going down
- 2:11Speaker 1: the same breetist and let's face it, dog racist man.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Dog racism.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I shouldn't make the argument because Greg's not going to
- 2:19Speaker 2: listen to me. And that's even though I might be
- 2:21Speaker 2: a thousand percent right, He's not going to listen to me. However,
- 2:24Speaker 2: this also came out this week in response. There's a guy,
- 2:27Speaker 2: a dog trainer named Stony Dennis. He has he's been
- 2:31Speaker 2: doing this for forty years. He has a big farm
- 2:33Speaker 2: in Kentucky. He takes a Regina. You might send you
- 2:35Speaker 2: a little dog to him. Oh, he takes.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Like twenty eight day boardings a little pim. Yeah.
- 2:39Speaker 2: He's trained thousands of dogs, knows more than any everybody
- 2:44Speaker 2: in this room, times one hundred. He knows exactly what's
- 2:46Speaker 2: going on. And he's trained a lot of pit bulls.
- 2:48Speaker 2: He trained a lot of problematic pit bulls. They have
- 2:50Speaker 2: biting other issues. And this is a video this again
- 2:53Speaker 2: made the round this week thanks to John Barenthal and
- 2:56Speaker 2: where he's he's got a pit on his little like
- 2:58Speaker 2: obstacle course that he trains him on and he brings this.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Up Max, about a five and a half month old
- 3:03Speaker 5: pit bull mix. We won't talk so much about pit
- 3:05Speaker 5: bulls exactly. We'll just talk about big square headed dogs
- 3:08Speaker 5: because all of the big square headed dogs kind of
- 3:11Speaker 5: have at some point in their origin story ancestors who
- 3:14Speaker 5: were bred to fight other dogs, or fight game animals,
- 3:17Speaker 5: or engage in some other type of exhibitionary violence.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Oh, in their blood.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Because Stony's heard all the all the rebuttals, he's heard, Oh,
- 3:27Speaker 2: pit bulls aren't the nanny dock.
- 3:29Speaker 4: No they are not.
- 3:30Speaker 2: They were bred to fight bulls as in cows in pitts.
- 3:35Speaker 2: That's where their name came from. Again, as he said,
- 3:37Speaker 2: and he said, I don't want to hear about well,
- 3:39Speaker 2: and he's also addressed there, I don't hear well, that's
- 3:40Speaker 2: not technically a pit bull.
- 3:42Speaker 1: This He also addressed that pit bull is not technically
- 3:44Speaker 1: a breed, right.
- 3:45Speaker 2: But he said description and he's bucket headed dog, right,
- 3:48Speaker 2: But he says like, he says, I know it when
- 3:50Speaker 2: I see it. I deal with him all the time,
- 3:51Speaker 2: So forget that. I'm talking about big, big squarehead him. Well,
- 3:55Speaker 2: and he cuts to the chase here.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Yes, it is the breed. Okay, it might not be
- 3:59Speaker 5: the specific breed that follows the bloodlines as they're outlined
- 4:02Speaker 5: in the breed registries, but it's the type, and we
- 4:05Speaker 5: all know the type. It's like the Supreme Court talks
- 4:07Speaker 5: about pornography. You know what when you see it. I
- 4:10Speaker 5: know a pit bull mix when I see them.
- 4:12Speaker 2: So he addressed it. He says like, yeah, because because
- 4:16Speaker 2: I hear that too. He's like, well, actually that's not
- 4:17Speaker 2: a real one. Blah bla blah, becase you'll see that
- 4:19Speaker 2: under under like every every headline about pitball Mall's toddler.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Well that's not actually a pit ball, that's a blah blah.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Dude. No, I don't forget it. I know the type.
- 4:26Speaker 3: I know.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I've been doing this again thousands of times. And he says,
- 4:30Speaker 2: it's that they're bred like this and this is the reality.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Listen, I got a lot of buddies that like this
- 4:34Speaker 5: kind of dog, and they really generally don't have any
- 4:37Speaker 5: problems with them because they never forget what kind of
- 4:39Speaker 5: dog they are, and they manage them in a way
- 4:41Speaker 5: that's appropriate for the type. But somebody just sent me
- 4:43Speaker 5: a news story where lady had a dog like this
- 4:47Speaker 5: and killed her baby, and she was there, she watched
- 4:50Speaker 5: it happen and she couldn't control the dog.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Okay, But again, here's the thing, is that that goes
- 4:58Speaker 2: to just don't or not that's a thinner headed dog.
- 5:02Speaker 6: That's true. They're not bucket heeaded.
- 5:03Speaker 1: But no, but I'm saying I'm sure a Doberman has child.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Again, that is the That is the cherry picking fallacy
- 5:08Speaker 2: that Greg is employing right now. When you look at
- 5:10Speaker 2: the number of deaths by breed and breed type each year,
- 5:14Speaker 2: pit bulls, dwarf, dwarf, so every combined.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I'm not disagreeing with the data. What can I say.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I've had two pitbulls, both one of them was more
- 5:26Speaker 1: aggressive than the other. The one I currently have is
- 5:29Speaker 1: the sweetest sweet I don't understand what your endgame is like.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You've pointed out the data. Fine, they're the most dangerous
- 5:38Speaker 1: breed of all time, past present, in future. They are
- 5:41Speaker 1: a danger to the world what else do you want
- 5:44Speaker 1: to add to that? Mine rules and a lot.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Of people I don't have to add anything to.
- 5:49Speaker 6: That's a fact.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'm just giving. I don't understand what your purpose is.
- 5:54Speaker 5: You people get a dog like this and they'll be like, well,
- 5:57Speaker 5: if you train it right or if you raise it right,
- 6:00Speaker 5: then it won't do that kind of stuff. That's not
- 6:02Speaker 5: necessarily true, number one. But then number two, most people
- 6:06Speaker 5: that have dogs, they don't really do that good a
- 6:08Speaker 5: job of training them. So when you have these kind
- 6:09Speaker 5: of dogs and they're running around killing your neighbor's dogs,
- 6:11Speaker 5: they're they're they're biting a mailman, they're killing babies, you
- 6:14Speaker 5: just have to accept the fact that, like, people don't
- 6:16Speaker 5: need to have this kind of dog really because most
- 6:18Speaker 5: of the time they're not going to learn to train
- 6:20Speaker 5: them right, they're gonna learn to manage them right, and
- 6:22Speaker 5: a lot of times they're just gonna literally lack the
- 6:24Speaker 5: physical capacity to manage the dog if it doesn't want
- 6:27Speaker 5: to be managed.
- 6:28Speaker 4: So what does this guy I want to do?
- 6:29Speaker 1: Just like you could say cherry picking for the eighteenth time,
- 6:33Speaker 1: what he just said could happen with any.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Dogs, and like what like he's already said, it's the trainer.
- 6:40Speaker 6: It's like you know season Lands there says, I I
- 6:42Speaker 6: rehabilitate dogs. I train people.
- 6:44Speaker 4: What he's saying.
- 6:45Speaker 2: What he's saying, this dog is so dangerous that it
- 6:49Speaker 2: should not be that when it does get loose, unlike
- 6:52Speaker 2: a Chihuahua or a child Cocker spaniel, it severe death,
- 6:56Speaker 2: severe mauling occurs. So and you can say, well trade them, well, well,
- 7:01Speaker 2: just it doesn't work because anybody, anybody, any loser, can
- 7:03Speaker 2: go get a pit bull, and Stony finishes up here.
- 7:07Speaker 5: For normal people, these types of dogs are very dangerous,
- 7:09Speaker 5: and the negative externalities related to owning this type of dogs,
- 7:14Speaker 5: in my opinion, it's not fair to externalize that type
- 7:16Speaker 5: of risk onto your neighbors.
- 7:18Speaker 4: So that's his answer.
- 7:19Speaker 2: He's saying, like the average person cannot and should not
- 7:21Speaker 2: own a pit bull because they are too dangerous and
- 7:24Speaker 2: too violent. And this guy knows because he's seen thousands
- 7:26Speaker 2: of them.
- 7:26Speaker 4: So this guy wants to just a breed.
- 7:29Speaker 1: So what's the end game here? And what is your
- 7:32Speaker 1: end game?
- 7:32Speaker 2: I would say mine, and I think Stony would agree
- 7:34Speaker 2: to me. Would say, we do what many countries have
- 7:37Speaker 2: done and heavily restrict or band pit bulls. Now doesn't
- 7:39Speaker 2: mean you have to go out and euthanize them all,
- 7:41Speaker 2: but just stop breeding them. And you don't allow breeding
- 7:43Speaker 2: except by very very specialized professionals like Stony here.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Well, I know there's areas in Denver where they don't
- 7:49Speaker 4: even allow them in certain agree and many countries have
- 7:52Speaker 4: this problem. So Greg, I knew you were I know
- 7:54Speaker 4: you wouldn't listen to me. But this is a guy.
- 7:56Speaker 4: This is a segment that he would like to know
- 7:58Speaker 4: what happens.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Mega liar, nuclear liar. This is gonna be a special edition.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And I said, oh good, here we go again. Breeds
- 8:07Speaker 1: breed Us, Britus. No, no, no, it's not going to
- 8:09Speaker 1: be like that at all. Trust me. Why don't you
- 8:11Speaker 1: believe me?
- 8:11Speaker 4: It's gonna be so I got brought.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It now it's now you're cherry picking. They're dangerous.
- 8:16Speaker 4: I don't know what you're endgame is. I just told
- 8:18Speaker 4: you what my own game was. Ban and slowly elmina.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Okay, cool, get working on that legislation.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Me and Sony will. But okay, maybe this makes you
- 8:25Speaker 4: feel better, Greg.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I don't need to feel better. I'm fine. The mighty
- 8:29Speaker 1: pointing out that you're a nuclear liar.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I mee these soothing sounds.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I'm not Stony's, I'm not beab, but stony is not
- 8:36Speaker 2: the soothing sounds of Sarah McLaughlin, who loves animals.
- 8:38Speaker 4: You love her sooth your and she loves pitbulls.
- 8:46Speaker 6: This video shows a guy being mauled by two pipules.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Hey pit bull goes on the attack of New Jersey
- 8:53Speaker 2: to chase down this little girl.
- 8:56Speaker 5: The family who lives here says they've had the twelve
- 8:58Speaker 5: year old pit bull since it was a puppy and
- 9:00Speaker 5: trusted it around children, but today it attacked a five
- 9:04Speaker 5: year old boy.
- 9:04Speaker 1: What we've got pret hit both attacking a child when
- 9:08Speaker 1: you chat around by our faith, neighbor's here attention going
- 9:11Speaker 1: to get the dogs dog.
- 9:13Speaker 2: They have witnessed multiple pitbull attacks in the last year,
- 9:17Speaker 2: but since then, they claim not much has been done
- 9:19Speaker 2: to stop the dogs from possibly attacking again.
- 9:22Speaker 7: An eleven year old boy was attacked by fetch pitbull
- 9:25Speaker 7: dog while he was playing at a.
- 9:27Speaker 6: Box near his house, beating a toddler.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Is home recovering tonight.
- 9:31Speaker 2: He needed more than two hundred stitches after a pit
- 9:35Speaker 2: bull attack on Tuesday.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Protect you loved. You need to protecting make feel that
- 9:45Speaker 4: great again.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I don't need to feel better. This texter said it
- 9:50Speaker 1: so well, talk about cherry picking. When you include half
- 9:52Speaker 1: a dozen different breeds of dogs into one type of
- 9:55Speaker 1: dogs aka pitbull, let me finish. Of course, the date
- 10:00Speaker 1: is going to show that more people die because of
- 10:04Speaker 1: that type versus a type of from one specific breed,
- 10:08Speaker 1: and you're the one.
- 10:09Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, that's that's that's the point he addressed. He
- 10:13Speaker 2: cut you off on that point. He said, I know
- 10:15Speaker 2: the pitbull and pit bull mixed when I see them.
- 10:17Speaker 2: They all have these same.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Traits, right, and that includes multiple types of dogs, just
- 10:27Speaker 1: the doverer men.
- 10:28Speaker 4: He cut you. He cut this point out from wonder
- 10:30Speaker 4: you to begin with, and you're not paying.
- 10:31Speaker 6: Attention to No, I get what you save of.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Gaslighting God, the professional, the professional trainers, the gas lighter
- 10:39Speaker 1: and this text too agreed with Greg. What's the purpose
- 10:42Speaker 1: of this for me to say, Okay, I guess I'll
- 10:43Speaker 1: go home and kill my doughter. No, I just don't
- 10:46Speaker 1: get your end game game ponderous.
- 10:49Speaker 4: It's exhausted, get it ditches, because of.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Which he circles back to the original question then go
- 10:58Speaker 1: work on the legislation and try to eradicate the breed.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I don't get it. What is your purpose?
- 11:05Speaker 4: Do you think?
- 11:06Speaker 1: Fan pit?
- 11:11Speaker 6: And we need a break?
- 11:12Speaker 1: Good God, we need to play the d u i Q,
- 11:15Speaker 1: and I'm literally Sea Bass will just take that segment
- 11:18Speaker 1: over all, right, eight seven, Woody, if you want to play,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I'm too exhausted to even think about it. I don't
- 11:25Speaker 1: even understand the point, but I do understand the dui q.
- 11:33Speaker 1: We are back here on the Woody Show, and every
- 11:35Speaker 1: Friday morning we play the dui Q, and so we
- 11:39Speaker 1: handed over to Sea Bass.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I asked a very drunk person very easy trivia questions,
- 11:44Speaker 2: and then you play the dui q. Not by guessing
- 11:46Speaker 2: or knowing the answer to the question. Everyone already knows
- 11:49Speaker 2: the answer. You play by guessing whether the drunk person
- 11:52Speaker 2: one of the answer. If you can guess correctly whether
- 11:54Speaker 2: they know two out of three times, you win.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And our contestant today is going to be Steven in
- 12:00Speaker 1: Long Beach. I do believe Steven. What's up?
- 12:03Speaker 3: Hey?
- 12:04Speaker 6: What else?
- 12:04Speaker 3: Guys?
- 12:05Speaker 1: What else? All right? Stephen?
- 12:07Speaker 3: You know Ryan?
- 12:09Speaker 4: Good? Thanks for asking Steven. You're very quick, You're very kind.
- 12:11Speaker 1: It's real sweet.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Ryan is our drunk subject. And to give you some
- 12:14Speaker 4: more info.
- 12:15Speaker 2: And Ryan, I'm going to talk to him in a
- 12:16Speaker 2: moment and the rest of you all will realize that
- 12:19Speaker 2: Ryan is well. Maybe just give him a minute when
- 12:22Speaker 2: he answers things.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Ryan, you're out with your friends. Where'd they go? Good?
- 12:27Speaker 1: They're going this way?
- 12:28Speaker 4: But you're here about yourself, which is okay. Yeah, So
- 12:32Speaker 4: what if you had to drink this evening again? We
- 12:33Speaker 4: were talking about.
- 12:35Speaker 1: What am I had to drink? Alcohol? How much would
- 12:40Speaker 1: you say? Beer? Yes? Yes, I mean yeah beer probably
- 12:49Speaker 1: one or two? Uh you sure? Just one or two?
- 12:52Speaker 1: Maybe three or four?
- 12:54Speaker 4: A little bit of a delay. Yeah, he has like
- 12:57Speaker 4: he might be.
- 12:58Speaker 2: He's on satellite from the other side of the world.
- 13:00Speaker 2: So that is Ryan there, and your first again, first
- 13:04Speaker 2: question will be uh, given to you. But we're gonna
- 13:07Speaker 2: also play with Menace and Sammy here in studio because
- 13:11Speaker 2: it's always fun to hear what they think the right
- 13:12Speaker 2: answer is, even though.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Even though they're not drunk.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Here's question number one for Ryan. What person is often
- 13:20Speaker 2: called r.
- 13:21Speaker 4: BG for short?
- 13:23Speaker 2: Okay, Greg, you can't help them by saying this is
- 13:26Speaker 2: your hero and back.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Tattoo that's true. That's true, though I did just give
- 13:32Speaker 4: some big hints you did.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna say yes to Sammy, no to Menace, and
- 13:39Speaker 1: no to the drunk Ryan.
- 13:42Speaker 6: I am piggybacking on that. I say yes to the lady,
- 13:45Speaker 6: no to the gents. What about you, Stephen, I'm gonna
- 13:53Speaker 6: agree to.
- 13:53Speaker 5: I'm gonna say yes lay as well.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Just guess on Menace and Sammy for fun. First question, Menace?
- 14:02Speaker 1: Yep?
- 14:03Speaker 4: What person is often called RBG for short Ruth Beta Ginsburg.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Beta beta fish.
- 14:21Speaker 2: All right, so you know Stephen said Ryan would not
- 14:25Speaker 2: know correct, let's find out questions.
- 14:27Speaker 4: It is often called RBG.
- 14:29Speaker 1: For short RBG Gainesburg's judges.
- 14:36Speaker 4: I'll tell you what. I'm gonna hold that one as
- 14:38Speaker 4: a as a toss up.
- 14:39Speaker 2: That was a maybe Ruth Gainesborg because the standard of
- 14:45Speaker 2: they accept that on Jeopardy.
- 14:46Speaker 6: No, of course, but it's the spirit of the game,
- 14:48Speaker 6: not the letter of the game.
- 14:49Speaker 2: So yeah, we'll hold that as amazing if it might
- 14:51Speaker 2: be a tiebreaker if necessary.
- 14:54Speaker 4: We now go to question number two. Give me any
- 14:57Speaker 4: example of a palindrome. Oh, that's a good one. I
- 15:03Speaker 4: don't define it. Give me an actual example.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Oh, well then triple no, definitely right.
- 15:10Speaker 6: I mean I I might be team Sammy on this one.
- 15:15Speaker 6: I might say yes to Sammy, no to Menace and
- 15:18Speaker 6: Ryan all.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Right, all right?
- 15:20Speaker 2: Uh and Steven, what do you think will again? Just
- 15:23Speaker 2: just a guessing on Ryan? Will Ryan give an example
- 15:26Speaker 2: of a palindrome?
- 15:27Speaker 4: Correctly?
- 15:29Speaker 3: I know?
- 15:30Speaker 4: Not even question number one for Sammy. First, give me
- 15:33Speaker 4: any example of a palindrome?
- 15:36Speaker 6: Race car?
- 15:37Speaker 4: Oh, menace, space shuttle launch, Shuttle launch. Yeah, that changes Sammy.
- 15:48Speaker 4: But now Sammy, Sammy was correct? Can you explain? Explain Menace?
- 15:52Speaker 4: Why was Sammy correct?
- 15:53Speaker 1: I am so sorry. I didn't have more faith than you.
- 15:55Speaker 4: I know, how dare you? Why was Sammy correct?
- 15:58Speaker 5: Yes?
- 15:58Speaker 4: Race car U because it was two words and one
- 16:04Speaker 4: two words and one house, because it was a description.
- 16:10Speaker 4: How do we give other examples? How she has race
- 16:15Speaker 4: car and I have Space Shuttle?
- 16:18Speaker 6: Can Greg and I go back and forth?
- 16:19Speaker 4: Give? Please?
- 16:21Speaker 1: Do Hannah?
- 16:23Speaker 4: Radar, Mom, Bob level Dad Space. I looked up race car.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Mom.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Mom, it's also Bob. For folks who are listening, Greg's
- 16:42Speaker 4: doing that arrow right arrow left.
- 16:45Speaker 6: Anyone say a man a plan, a canal, Panama?
- 16:47Speaker 1: No, Hannah, Hannah, cool, you keep on saying words.
- 16:55Speaker 7: Do look so bob bob, okay, this way that way? Yeah,
- 17:03Speaker 7: race car let me see r A ce c A R.
- 17:11Speaker 6: Leave it there.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, we will never know, but that's a
- 17:14Speaker 2: point for our players.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Launch not quite a way necessarily. We'll see, I'll tell you,
- 17:22Speaker 4: we'll see.
- 17:22Speaker 2: It'll depend on what question three, if he gets the
- 17:24Speaker 2: tie break or here is question number three?
- 17:26Speaker 6: Wait?
- 17:26Speaker 4: Wait, what was the Yeah, I'm.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Sorry, I thought we were going to revisit that as well.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Right a word that is this the same when you
- 17:34Speaker 1: spell it forward and backwards? Yeah?
- 17:36Speaker 2: All right, cool, Sorry I jumped I jumped ahead because
- 17:39Speaker 2: I know the answer. Here's the answer for question. To
- 17:41Speaker 2: give me any example of a palindrome.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Pal I'm like, like a forward and backwards? Yes, what's
- 17:49Speaker 4: an example of that?
- 17:51Speaker 1: Why are you saying something? And I give you an
- 17:52Speaker 1: example of.
- 17:53Speaker 4: That example from you? That's the question, you guys, example, what.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Do you mean?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Oh my god, I.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Don't know what to do.
- 18:02Speaker 6: It's just a bunch of half points.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Now would be considered slang.
- 18:09Speaker 2: And it's also yeah, yeah, thank you, here's there's I
- 18:14Speaker 2: love these long versions, like like Gina said, with a
- 18:16Speaker 2: man of plan a nut for a jar of tuna.
- 18:20Speaker 2: No one would say that. That's not the point. The
- 18:24Speaker 2: point is it's fun to think of that because they're
- 18:26Speaker 2: like little puzzles.
- 18:27Speaker 6: A man a planet can now Parama.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Dork taco, but you would use taco cat.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a fun one, all right.
- 18:37Speaker 4: So Steven, he has a point and a half. Let's
- 18:39Speaker 4: say question number three on the d U I Q,
- 18:42Speaker 4: what is the title of the movie that gave us
- 18:44Speaker 4: the Minions?
- 18:46Speaker 2: Okay, we just had we had a new one of
- 18:47Speaker 2: these recently. I know because they had a Wendy's tie
- 18:49Speaker 2: in pop culture.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I have to.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Think about that for one right now.
- 18:53Speaker 4: I wouldn't expect you to know because you don't have kids.
- 18:56Speaker 4: I definitely know it.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I can see it in my head. But yes to
- 19:00Speaker 1: medicine Sammy. This Ryan guy doesn't even know up from down?
- 19:05Speaker 4: He answers.
- 19:08Speaker 6: I want to take a guess, and what he's gonna say?
- 19:10Speaker 1: Oh, I know it now, I'm gonna say yes to
- 19:15Speaker 1: the medicine Sammy.
- 19:16Speaker 6: No to Ryan, Well, Sammy's been on a hot streak.
- 19:19Speaker 6: I'm I think Sammy's gonna sweep And.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Let's get crazy.
- 19:22Speaker 6: Let's say triple yes.
- 19:25Speaker 2: All right, Steven, do you think only our drunk rhyme?
- 19:27Speaker 2: Do you think Ryan will know the answer to this question?
- 19:30Speaker 2: Do the minions?
- 19:34Speaker 4: I'm gonna say no, no, okay, this is for the win.
- 19:38Speaker 4: First for menace. The question what is the title of
- 19:41Speaker 4: the movie that gave us the minions?
- 19:43Speaker 1: Uh?
- 19:44Speaker 4: Universal, that's a studio. Yeah, but I thought I started.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I have not seen one second of any of those movies,
- 19:51Speaker 4: so I don't know. All right, And Samy, would you
- 19:53Speaker 4: help mount? That would be Despicable me. That's correct. I
- 19:58Speaker 4: thought it was like Universal's despic okay, featuring the voice
- 20:02Speaker 4: of Steve. Yeah, I haven't looked it up.
- 20:05Speaker 2: That's gotta be approaching like Shrek level, because they've made
- 20:07Speaker 2: so many of those.
- 20:08Speaker 6: They've always been off their insane they make so much money.
- 20:11Speaker 6: Can I give a can I get you? He's gonna
- 20:13Speaker 6: say something like demandable me?
- 20:19Speaker 2: All right, well, Steve, and he said no, correct, yes, correct, No,
- 20:24Speaker 2: there we could be confusing ourselves.
- 20:25Speaker 4: But for the win, question answer three, what is the
- 20:28Speaker 4: title of the movie that gave us the Minions? I
- 20:31Speaker 4: don't know.
- 20:32Speaker 1: That was a horrible movie.
- 20:34Speaker 4: It was for kids, though, kids are dumb. That is
- 20:39Speaker 4: a winner for you. That riot guy was Oh that
- 20:48Speaker 4: was weird. I didn't even understand Stephen.
- 20:51Speaker 6: That was a tough put for you. So congratulations, well done.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Uh menace. You want to do some more palan dromes?
- 20:57Speaker 4: Uh no, just one please?
- 21:00Speaker 1: I will for me to come up with the one.
- 21:03Speaker 6: Uh nana No, but I will give you the Indian
- 21:11Speaker 6: bread None.
- 21:14Speaker 4: This one menace? Ufo to.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I don't like this game.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Hurts my brain.
- 21:22Speaker 1: It seems to make you sad.
- 21:23Speaker 6: It does extra. Yeah I did.
- 21:27Speaker 4: I did a great jobs card.
- 21:29Speaker 1: We get it. Space Shuttle should have counted.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Yeh, thank you, Thank you, Greg, thank you.
- 21:35Speaker 1: That's how you do the d u i Q or whatever.
- 21:37Speaker 1: That was.
- 21:38Speaker 6: Yeah, that was great.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Yes, Woody Show Friday morning, we are back.
- 21:46Speaker 6: Yep. I have well, I have a big question for
- 21:50Speaker 6: seeing So a very dear friend of mine who works
- 21:53Speaker 6: in the building on another station, he texted me. He
- 21:57Speaker 6: just texted me. It says, is this a car nark special?
- 22:01Speaker 6: I got nabbed in the parking garage? Like, what is
- 22:03Speaker 6: he talking about?
- 22:04Speaker 4: There are no carts in our parking garage.
- 22:05Speaker 6: That's why I was confused.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Well, it could be from the whole food. Yeah, I
- 22:11Speaker 4: walked it across the street.
- 22:13Speaker 6: Well, somebody put this on his card. It's a big sign.
- 22:16Speaker 6: It has pictures of like a driver in a in
- 22:19Speaker 6: a you know driving you know, like in a little seat. Yeah,
- 22:23Speaker 6: and it says warning, this person is parked in the
- 22:26Speaker 6: visitor area and they are not a visitor, they're a
- 22:28Speaker 6: full time employee who is too lazy.
- 22:32Speaker 4: That does speak to cartner to.
- 22:33Speaker 6: Park in an inappropriate to park in an appropriate space.
- 22:37Speaker 6: If they are this lazy and will lie about this,
- 22:40Speaker 6: what else will they lie about?
- 22:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Good question, Sea Bass.
- 22:44Speaker 6: I mean this is kind of an impromptu hot seat.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Right right, right.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Well, first off, I agree with the sentiment of that
- 22:49Speaker 2: is that it was not it was a not a
- 22:51Speaker 2: magnet or a stick or anything like that.
- 22:53Speaker 6: I think it's like a flyer, just a.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Flyer, because I mean I would have if it were me.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Obviously I use magnets. That's my that's my yeah, by trade.
- 23:02Speaker 2: But no, but I do agree with no, I did not,
- 23:05Speaker 2: But I do agree with the sentiment.
- 23:08Speaker 4: People be parking in the visitors spots.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Because it and people And I think it kind of
- 23:12Speaker 2: started as many things did during the coronavirus times because
- 23:16Speaker 2: we didn't have visitors in the buildings, and so the
- 23:18Speaker 2: way folks wh don't know the way our parking lot
- 23:20Speaker 2: is laid out. The first row is either open slash
- 23:23Speaker 2: reserve seating seating parking see the reserve space for the
- 23:26Speaker 2: very important people, or just a couple open spots. The
- 23:28Speaker 2: second row is and it's not it's not hard to
- 23:31Speaker 2: see big green v visitor. And the third row is
- 23:34Speaker 2: open parking. Again, So what you're supposed to do is
- 23:36Speaker 2: if you get here later in the day, when the
- 23:39Speaker 2: first row of good spots are taken, you just go
- 23:40Speaker 2: to the third row because we do have visitors during
- 23:43Speaker 2: the day. We have visitors on the show.
- 23:45Speaker 4: We've had people come to this building who have I
- 23:47Speaker 4: can't find any visitor parking over or the other three
- 23:50Speaker 4: floors of parking exactly.
- 23:53Speaker 1: The visitor parking is a little redundant. It's not really
- 23:55Speaker 1: needed per se. The parking lot is.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Huge, right, But I think what it does is greg
- 24:00Speaker 2: if I poll if I pulled into a office building
- 24:02Speaker 2: that I've never been before, front, yeah, I'd say okay,
- 24:05Speaker 2: because I would be afraid if I parked elsewhere that's
- 24:07Speaker 2: parking in somebody's spot. I'm not supposed to be there.
- 24:10Speaker 2: So if there's a visual, okay, I know that's where
- 24:11Speaker 2: I'm supposed to go. So I again, I fully agree
- 24:13Speaker 2: with this. Do we know that it's not from the building? Man,
- 24:17Speaker 2: I fully doubt that.
- 24:19Speaker 6: What else are they lying about?
- 24:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I would question the person's morals and character.
- 24:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I doubt it. But when I used to work
- 24:27Speaker 6: on a different station, I would work at night, I
- 24:29Speaker 6: would park anywhere I damn well please, I kind of
- 24:31Speaker 6: do that at this state. You know, it's like we
- 24:34Speaker 6: we get up in the middle of the night, like,
- 24:36Speaker 6: who am I hurting? Well, it's not business hours.
- 24:39Speaker 4: Right, But I think the thing is this guy, if
- 24:41Speaker 4: it is.
- 24:41Speaker 6: You, Oh, this is business hours right.
- 24:43Speaker 2: And by the way, we're here so early that we
- 24:45Speaker 2: don't need to worry about that because there are plenty
- 24:47Speaker 2: of open spots. And I agree with you, like, and
- 24:49Speaker 2: that goes back to the maybe the cardon ARCS is
- 24:52Speaker 2: and people are like you only care about the rules, No,
- 24:54Speaker 2: I care about the consequences, like Gina's saying, if it's overnight,
- 24:58Speaker 2: who cares. But if you're actively bl locking let's say
- 25:00Speaker 2: the visitor parking, Yeah that is And just because you're lazy.
- 25:04Speaker 4: So it sounds like I wrote this.
- 25:05Speaker 6: I mean this really all signs point to you like
- 25:08Speaker 6: you might be convinced that you wrote that.
- 25:10Speaker 2: I was just telling Greg that because I would get
- 25:14Speaker 2: a call because someone else is breaking the rules.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Okay, this reeks of you, it does, it does.
- 25:20Speaker 2: But I was telling Greg who else but that the
- 25:23Speaker 2: influence of cartonarks is spreading. New York City just this
- 25:25Speaker 2: week started putting shame style stickers on people that don't
- 25:28Speaker 2: move for street cleaning like that, and it's it says,
- 25:31Speaker 2: I can pull it up right here, this vehicle, this
- 25:33Speaker 2: vehicle Violet NYC street cleaning rules. As a result, this
- 25:36Speaker 2: street cannot be properly cleaned. Help keep streets save about alas.
- 25:39Speaker 4: So they are very much they're very much following the
- 25:41Speaker 4: cart Arks shaming.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Pretend they care about keeping New York clean.
- 25:48Speaker 6: But there is so much detail on this flyer, I
- 25:50Speaker 6: mean there's tons of things. Well, we'll post it because
- 25:53Speaker 6: on the bottom there's a little meter and on one
- 25:55Speaker 6: side there's a bunch of like men in suits looking
- 25:57Speaker 6: toward the meter with question marks. And on the other
- 26:00Speaker 6: side there's a bunch of men in suits looking with
- 26:01Speaker 6: me to pointing their finger. There is a lot going on,
- 26:04Speaker 6: which makes me think that, like Sea Bass, you can
- 26:07Speaker 6: this is a safe space. You can tell us if
- 26:10Speaker 6: you're playing.
- 26:10Speaker 4: It sounds like too much going on for Sea Bass, though,
- 26:13Speaker 4: maybe you would streamline.
- 26:14Speaker 1: It a little bit.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Yeah, because like I'm very like the Cartonnark's magnets are
- 26:17Speaker 2: very like lazybones on board, Right, I don't returmber like
- 26:20Speaker 2: a jerk.
- 26:21Speaker 1: You're not exclusive to magnets. You recently left a coyote
- 26:23Speaker 1: sign that was not a.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Magnet, that's true, and I have left artwork in the hallways, right,
- 26:27Speaker 2: but those are fun.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Like, I truly believe this is more than likely Sea Bass.
- 26:33Speaker 1: But the one thing that makes me think it is
- 26:35Speaker 1: not is I know who sent you this text. Why
- 26:38Speaker 1: would Sea Bass.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Know what car he There's no way where he's parking.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Yeah, because if it is this person, they don't have
- 26:44Speaker 2: the same shift we do, so I would just not
- 26:45Speaker 2: cross paths with this person other than already in the building.
- 26:47Speaker 6: Okay, well, because it's excuse.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But that was megatote.
- 26:52Speaker 4: Sea Bass though, Yeah, this is the Woodie Show.
