- 0:36Speaker 2: What do we have, Crystal, Yeah, the entire shows you
- 0:38Speaker 2: guys will not be surprised to learn, is going to
- 0:40Speaker 2: be focused on ran We've got a million updates for
- 0:42Speaker 2: you this morning, including three fighter jets being shot out
- 0:46Speaker 2: on the sky and what is being claimed as a
- 0:48Speaker 2: friendly fire incident, President Trump saying there are going to
- 0:50Speaker 2: be more dead Americans. We're taking a look at the
- 0:53Speaker 2: markets this morning as they open. Also already blowback here
- 0:57Speaker 2: in the US and abroad, against our illegal, aggressive war
- 1:01Speaker 2: against Iran. We've got some pulling indications that the American
- 1:05Speaker 2: people are unsurprisingly not behind this whatsoever. And then we
- 1:09Speaker 2: have two major gigantic gas. We're so fortunate to get
- 1:12Speaker 2: to talk to Professor Jeffrey Sacks this morning and also
- 1:14Speaker 2: Professor Jang. His first appearance on the show. He made
- 1:17Speaker 2: back in I think May of twenty twenty four to
- 1:20Speaker 2: three bold predictions one Trump was going to win, two
- 1:24Speaker 2: that he would go to war with Iran, in three
- 1:27Speaker 2: that the US would lose that war. So we're going
- 1:29Speaker 2: to check in with him about how he thinks that
- 1:32Speaker 2: prediction is panning out, if anything has surprised him in
- 1:35Speaker 2: the build up in the early phases of this war.
- 1:37Speaker 4: So it's going to be a huge one today.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right. All right, let's go ahead and get
- 1:40Speaker 1: to the latest updates out of Iran.
- 1:42Speaker 2: All right, guys, we're going to start this morning with
- 1:44Speaker 2: shocking images. Let's put this up on the screen.
- 1:47Speaker 4: This is a.
- 1:49Speaker 2: US fighter jet after being hit allegedly by friendly fire
- 1:54Speaker 2: by our Kuwaiti allies, falling out of the sky. And
- 1:58Speaker 2: this is reportedly one of three fighter jets that sentkam
- 2:04Speaker 2: Is saying hit by friendly fire. The Iranians are saying
- 2:07Speaker 2: that they are claiming responsibility for at least one of
- 2:09Speaker 2: these jets, but our government is claiming this was friendly
- 2:11Speaker 2: fire from the Kuwaitis. Three US fighter jets being shot
- 2:16Speaker 2: out of the sky. Now, as far as we know,
- 2:19Speaker 2: all of the service members on board those fighter jets,
- 2:22Speaker 2: all of those pilots are safe. There are some crazy
- 2:25Speaker 2: videos out there too of them being recovered. In one
- 2:28Speaker 2: of them, the Kuwaitis who find one of the pilots says,
- 2:32Speaker 2: let's call an ambulance. The other one says, he's American,
- 2:35Speaker 2: Let's just leave them. Give a sense of the way
- 2:37Speaker 2: that people in the region outside of leadership feel about
- 2:40Speaker 2: American service members and about this operation overall.
- 2:44Speaker 4: But Sager, I.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Mean, before I even get into any of the other elements,
- 2:47Speaker 2: and we have a whole slew of them, did your reactions.
- 2:50Speaker 1: This is a humiliation on the world stage.
- 2:51Speaker 3: This is equivalent to what happened whenever those fighter jets
- 2:55Speaker 3: were lost on the carriers in the middle of high seas.
- 2:58Speaker 3: And this is what we've been warning about here for
- 2:59Speaker 3: a week, is about military readiness, lack of coordination with allies.
- 3:03Speaker 3: You have drones, I mean, by Centcom's own admission in
- 3:07Speaker 3: this alleged friendly fire incident, and by the way, they
- 3:09Speaker 3: call it a parent friendly fire. So obviously the facts
- 3:11Speaker 3: are still not one hundred percent known. Is you had
- 3:14Speaker 3: Iranian aircraft, Iranian missiles, and Iranian drones all in the
- 3:17Speaker 3: sky at the same time. Each one of these aircraft
- 3:20Speaker 3: has a pilot, a weapons systems officer. That's why the
- 3:23Speaker 3: six crew that have been ejected, and they're at least
- 3:26Speaker 3: safe for now, thank god. But these are one hundred
- 3:29Speaker 3: million dollar aircraft per piece, so the three hundred million
- 3:32Speaker 3: dollars just got evaporated in the sky. The scale of
- 3:35Speaker 3: what is happening here is unbelievable. We are talking about
- 3:39Speaker 3: potentially tens of billions already in munitions, in aircraft and
- 3:43Speaker 3: other assets which are already lost and have been used
- 3:46Speaker 3: in this operations. But perhaps more importantly is you don't
- 3:50Speaker 3: want to have these emperor have no clothes moments, because
- 3:53Speaker 3: you're looking at the seat of the global empire and look,
- 3:56Speaker 3: we're going to show you plenty of stuff. We are
- 3:58Speaker 3: capable of vaporizing a lot of things, but in long
- 4:01Speaker 3: sustained kinetic operations, as we're already watching. We have four
- 4:06Speaker 3: Americans dead. As of this morning, four Americans are already dead.
- 4:10Speaker 3: The President and the top general keep saying more to come,
- 4:14Speaker 3: more to come. Maybe there have been more, and they're
- 4:15Speaker 3: not even telling us.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Well.
- 4:17Speaker 2: The President actually indicated in an interview with The New
- 4:19Speaker 2: York Times that they're likely are already more dead, and
- 4:23Speaker 2: in it, I can't even call this really a speech
- 4:25Speaker 2: but a hastily edited statement that Trump gave yesterday. He
- 4:31Speaker 2: spoke about how there will likely be more dead Americans
- 4:35Speaker 2: out of this war. Let's go ahead and take a
- 4:36Speaker 2: listen to that.
- 4:37Speaker 6: Earlier today, Sentcom shared the news that three US military
- 4:42Speaker 6: service members have been killed in action. As one nation,
- 4:47Speaker 6: we a grieve for the true American patriots who have
- 4:50Speaker 6: made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, even as we
- 4:55Speaker 6: continue the righteous mission for which they gave their lives.
- 5:01Speaker 6: We pray for the full recovery of the wounded and
- 5:03Speaker 6: send our immense love and eternal gratitude to the families
- 5:08Speaker 6: of the fallen. And sadly, there will likely be more
- 5:14Speaker 6: before it ends. That's the way it is likely be more.
- 5:17Speaker 6: But will do everything possible where that won't be the case.
- 5:22Speaker 6: But America will avenge their desks and deliver the most
- 5:26Speaker 6: punishing blow to the terrorists who have waged war against
- 5:30Speaker 6: basically civilization. They have waged war against civilization itself.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Interesting he doesn't, yeah, interesting, he doesn't send his own
- 5:41Speaker 2: military age son into this supposedly worthy cause. And we
- 5:45Speaker 2: can put a two up on the screen. This is
- 5:47Speaker 2: the court I was referencing to the New York Times.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I'll read this whole thing. Mister Trump spoke from mar
- 5:52Speaker 2: A Lago about thirty six hours into the conflict, soon
- 5:54Speaker 2: after he received news of American casualties, saying he could
- 5:56Speaker 2: only spring briefly because he was about to meet with
- 5:59Speaker 2: the generals, acknowledge that his administration expected more casualties based
- 6:03Speaker 2: on projections. Three is three too many as far as
- 6:06Speaker 2: I'm concerned. Of course, as Sager said, it's now up
- 6:08Speaker 2: to four one of the wounded service members to come
- 6:11Speaker 2: to their injuries.
- 6:12Speaker 4: He goes on to.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Say, if you look at projections, they do projections, you know,
- 6:16Speaker 2: it could be quite a bit higher than that we
- 6:18Speaker 2: expect casualties. But he professed confidence around wood. In the end,
- 6:22Speaker 2: ben to Americas and Israel's will, the country has been
- 6:25Speaker 2: very substantially weakened, to put it mildly. In other comments
- 6:29Speaker 2: that he gave recently, Sager he also was he was asked, okay,
- 6:33Speaker 2: you want the regime. You're going for the regime change.
- 6:36Speaker 2: How is this going to work? He offered a number
- 6:39Speaker 2: of different theories, including one of them being that the IRGC,
- 6:42Speaker 2: the Revolutionary Guard Corps, would just surrender their weapons to
- 6:46Speaker 2: the population. They would just hand over their weapons and
- 6:48Speaker 2: give it up.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Look, I mean, it's not time for victory lap, but
- 6:51Speaker 3: it's true. If you've been watching the show what we've
- 6:53Speaker 3: been saying, they're on a sugar high from Venezuela and
- 6:55Speaker 3: from mednine hammer. They really believed that it would be
- 6:57Speaker 3: the same. They didn't want to believe any of the
- 7:00Speaker 3: people from the top, General Dan Kane, to many of
- 7:03Speaker 3: the other advisors, who said, this one is very different.
- 7:06Speaker 3: If you want to know how fucked we are, let's
- 7:08Speaker 3: put a three up here. The Jonathan Carl at ABC
- 7:11Speaker 3: News talked to the President last night and he was
- 7:14Speaker 3: asked about possible candidates to take over Iran.
- 7:16Speaker 1: They were killed in the initial attack.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Quote.
- 7:17Speaker 3: The attack was so successful it knocked out most of
- 7:20Speaker 3: the candidates. It's not going to be anybody that what
- 7:23Speaker 3: we are thinking of because they're all dead, second or
- 7:25Speaker 3: third place is dead. He is enamored at the strength
- 7:28Speaker 3: of the US bob or actually even this case, it's
- 7:30Speaker 3: the Israeli bombs that were able to take out these leaders.
- 7:33Speaker 3: But this fantasy idea of the IRGC just handing over
- 7:38Speaker 3: their weapons to the people, yeah, I'm sure that's going
- 7:41Speaker 3: to happen, the very same people that just killed a
- 7:43Speaker 3: bunch of the protesters who rose up against him.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I mean, this is a incitement to civil war.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Already there are massive reports coming out of Iran of
- 7:52Speaker 3: attacks on border stations. You know, why do you think
- 7:55Speaker 3: that you want to do? This is the Syria model.
- 7:57Speaker 3: You eliminate the border and you flooded it with a
- 8:00Speaker 3: bunch of friendly Akacia backed assets. But does anyone want
- 8:05Speaker 3: who want to tell me who the great enemies of
- 8:07Speaker 3: the Shia people are Al Qaieda.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I mean, we've got an al Qaeda.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Leader sitting on the throne in Syria right over there.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Just think this is going to be Libya on steroids.
- 8:18Speaker 3: If the Israelis and I guess these Americans now get
- 8:21Speaker 3: their way, we're screwed. They had no plan, They really
- 8:24Speaker 3: believe some sort of delcea Rodriguez thing was going to happen.
- 8:27Speaker 3: And another way where you can see the lack of coordination,
- 8:29Speaker 3: look at the Gulf. These guys have been caught completely
- 8:32Speaker 3: flat footed. The Kuwaitis are throwing things up a This
- 8:35Speaker 3: is not a sophisticated military you have Doha.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I mean I used to live in Doha.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I am watching places where I know with ballistic missiles
- 8:43Speaker 3: falling out.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Of the sky.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Some of these hotels. You and I have been to
- 8:46Speaker 3: these hotels. Can you imagine Dubai. I've slept in that
- 8:50Speaker 3: airport a million times closed down.
- 8:54Speaker 4: It is hard to I mean, the Dubai piece is wild.
- 8:58Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 8:59Speaker 2: And because the whole brand proposition of Dubai is like, oh,
- 9:03Speaker 2: we're sort of exempt from any instability from the region.
- 9:06Speaker 2: We're like exempt from that because this is where the
- 9:08Speaker 2: global leak keep their money, right, this is where you
- 9:10Speaker 2: can go and buy these palatial, multimillion dollar luxury properties.
- 9:15Speaker 2: This is where you can go on your you know,
- 9:18Speaker 2: your exclusive vacation and you know, with the beautiful beaches
- 9:21Speaker 2: and the manufactured you know, super high end luxury hotels
- 9:25Speaker 2: and all of this. The tallest building in the world,
- 9:27Speaker 2: et cetera, et cetera. Now you've had some of those
- 9:30Speaker 2: hotels hit, you've had them struck. You have all these
- 9:34Speaker 2: videos coming out of people who are shocked. And there
- 9:37Speaker 2: are tons of Americans there by the way, but people.
- 9:40Speaker 4: From all around the world. The global leak all around
- 9:42Speaker 4: the world.
- 9:43Speaker 2: This is a manufactured playground for the rich that is
- 9:46Speaker 2: now taking hits by Iran. The damage this will cause
- 9:51Speaker 2: long term to you know, their whole sort of value
- 9:54Speaker 2: proposition there. You can't even wrap your head around. Then
- 9:56Speaker 2: we're going to get to the market fallout. You know,
- 9:59Speaker 2: you had a soud A Ramco, you had some of
- 10:01Speaker 2: their assets hit. You have Qatar completely shutting down their
- 10:05Speaker 2: energy production already massive impacts. Straight up, Hoomus is de
- 10:10Speaker 2: facto closed because the insurers won't ensure the cargo ships
- 10:14Speaker 2: that are going through there, because the Iranians have attacked
- 10:17Speaker 2: a few ships that are there in the region, and
- 10:19Speaker 2: so the insurers say no, you can't travel through there.
- 10:21Speaker 2: So therefact that's all it took. That's de facto closed.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Now something that's agger. I mean, we've been hearing about
- 10:26Speaker 2: threats and how dire that would be because twenty percent,
- 10:30Speaker 2: twenty to twenty five percent of the world's oil passes
- 10:32Speaker 2: through there, so and it happens to be the you know,
- 10:35Speaker 2: the oil that's most influential in terms of setting the
- 10:37Speaker 2: price for the market. So it's an extraordinary disruption. You know,
- 10:42Speaker 2: you could sort of, I think equate it perhaps to
- 10:44Speaker 2: the level of disruption we saw in the early phases
- 10:46Speaker 2: of the Ukraine War in particular, that's at least where
- 10:50Speaker 2: we all are already, and.
- 10:51Speaker 4: We are mere days into this war.
- 10:54Speaker 2: So you have US fighter jets either being shot out
- 10:57Speaker 2: of the sky by Iranians or by our own ally,
- 11:00Speaker 2: you have damage to our allies throughout the region. We're
- 11:03Speaker 2: going to ask Professor Sachs later on about this clip
- 11:06Speaker 2: of a Saudi analyst saying the Americans abandoned us and
- 11:09Speaker 2: only care about protecting the Israelis. You have already dire
- 11:13Speaker 2: warnings and concerns about the number of interceptors that we
- 11:16Speaker 2: have remaining. The Iranians, which look, they're taking a lot
- 11:19Speaker 2: of damage. I mean, they've had hundreds of people killed,
- 11:21Speaker 2: huge damage in Tehran and other places in the country.
- 11:24Speaker 2: These horrifying images, obviously, these schoolgirls, the hospitals that are
- 11:28Speaker 2: being hit, etc. But they also seem to have learned
- 11:31Speaker 2: from the Twelve Day War, and their strategy is we're
- 11:33Speaker 2: going to send out all of these drones, which it's
- 11:36Speaker 2: the similar drones to what the Houthis we're using. By
- 11:39Speaker 2: the way, the Houthies have joined the fight. HSBLA has
- 11:41Speaker 2: joined the fight. These twenty to thirty thousand dollars drones
- 11:44Speaker 2: that they can produce, mass produce and just send down
- 11:48Speaker 2: and you exhaust the stockpile of interceptors of both the
- 11:51Speaker 2: Israelis and the Americans, and then later on you hold
- 11:55Speaker 2: your your bigger stuff for later on. Now that's a
- 11:57Speaker 2: risk for them because it's possible that they're that their
- 12:00Speaker 2: ability to launch those missiles gets destroyed. That's certainly the
- 12:04Speaker 2: goal of the US and the Israelis, but you know,
- 12:06Speaker 2: it's not a crazy bet that they're making right now,
- 12:09Speaker 2: and they know that we have much less stomach for
- 12:13Speaker 2: and capacity to take damage than they do, because for them,
- 12:15Speaker 2: it's existential. For us, we don't even want to be
- 12:18Speaker 2: doing this shit, right.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Yeah, we're already four more lives than this entire thing
- 12:21Speaker 3: was worth. And all the people at the top are
- 12:23Speaker 3: telling us are that there are going to be more.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Why don't we show some of the video just so
- 12:27Speaker 3: you guys can see it's not just us talking. This
- 12:29Speaker 3: is a region which is on fire. I mean, nobody
- 12:32Speaker 3: has scenes like this literally every I mean even at
- 12:35Speaker 3: the height of the Iraq War. It was in the
- 12:37Speaker 3: middle of Iraq. This is West Jerusalem last night. I
- 12:40Speaker 3: mean that Look at that. Can you imagine living in
- 12:43Speaker 3: the middle of downtown and watching a lab populated densely popular.
- 12:46Speaker 3: I've been to West Jerusalem. That is crazy. Look at this.
- 12:49Speaker 3: This is in Kuwait. You can see an American soldier
- 12:52Speaker 3: of American Service member filming this. Do you hear what
- 12:54Speaker 3: he says? They're starting to dial in our buildings. That
- 12:57Speaker 3: was a suicide drone. This is from the Straits of
- 12:59Speaker 3: hor moves. This was a skylight I believe is the
- 13:02Speaker 3: is the name of the ship which was attacked. There's
- 13:04Speaker 3: already been one confirmed death in an attack on a
- 13:07Speaker 3: ship which was off the coast of Oman.
- 13:10Speaker 1: This is Tehrod. I mean, this is unbelievable.
- 13:13Speaker 3: There were even video coming out late last night our
- 13:16Speaker 3: time where you could see that the bombs were so
- 13:19Speaker 3: light they were lighting up the mountains behind them. Who
- 13:22Speaker 3: knows how many thousands of people are being killed there
- 13:25Speaker 3: right now. This is in Israel, in Bet Schamesh. I
- 13:28Speaker 3: talked about this in my update. That's the Borsh Khalifa,
- 13:31Speaker 3: which we mentioned in the middle of Dubai, probably one
- 13:33Speaker 3: of the most iconic hotels in the world. Here we
- 13:36Speaker 3: have in the middle of Beirut. You have destruction everywhere.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Hasbola has launched.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Attacks into the middle of Israel.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Not to mention the the F fifteen's that we just
- 13:47Speaker 3: talked about that went down, That happened just you know,
- 13:49Speaker 3: middle of the night our time, in the middle of
- 13:52Speaker 3: what was that in the middle of Bahrain. You have
- 13:57Speaker 3: crazy situations playing in Bahrain.
- 14:01Speaker 1: You know, a lot of people may not remember this.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Bahrain has a very significant Shia population, but they're ruled
- 14:05Speaker 3: by a Sunni kingdom. Right well, guess what, every single
- 14:08Speaker 3: time the Iranian drones are making impact in Bahrain, the
- 14:12Speaker 3: local Shia are cheering. This is some Arab spring stuff,
- 14:15Speaker 3: which by the way, the United States actually intervened on
- 14:18Speaker 3: their behalf to actually make sure that they could quash
- 14:20Speaker 3: the Shia opposition inside of that country. This is tens
- 14:23Speaker 3: of thousands of Americans who are housed there. This is
- 14:26Speaker 3: a full blown regional conflict. The price of oil, the
- 14:30Speaker 3: price of gas, everything is being affected. I mean, the
- 14:33Speaker 3: number of people who are dead now has got to
- 14:35Speaker 3: be probably in the thousands, considering the number of casualties
- 14:38Speaker 3: which is happening. The vast majority of these are going
- 14:41Speaker 3: to be in Tehran. As you said, I mean, look,
- 14:43Speaker 3: these are Gaza level images. We're talking about hospitals and
- 14:46Speaker 3: schools and all this which are getting struck. And I'm
- 14:49Speaker 3: not going to let the Iranians off the hook either.
- 14:50Speaker 3: They hit one of the biggest hospitals and it was
- 14:52Speaker 3: a Palestinian hospital in West Jerusalem.
- 14:55Speaker 1: But this is war. This is this, you know, the.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Totality of all of it, and how do you pull
- 15:00Speaker 3: back from here? The off ramp that Trump, Trump, I think,
- 15:03Speaker 3: really believed that he could do midnight Hammer again. He's like,
- 15:06Speaker 3: I'll bomb them and then they'll capitulate and negotiate. He
- 15:09Speaker 3: but he didn't understand, which we did. So it's not
- 15:11Speaker 3: like he didn't have this same information. No, because at
- 15:14Speaker 3: a certain point, fool me once, shame on you, fool
- 15:17Speaker 3: me twice, shame on me.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Well, you could.
- 15:19Speaker 3: See all of this playing out right now for them,
- 15:21Speaker 3: They're like, I'm not gonna be bombed. You're gonna kill
- 15:23Speaker 3: the Iyatola and then I'm gonna come back to the
- 15:25Speaker 3: negotiating table with you. Also, the people with the monopoly
- 15:28Speaker 3: on the use of force, the IRGC, they are the
- 15:30Speaker 3: people mostlyle loyal to the Iyatola. They are the you
- 15:33Speaker 3: know what do they.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Tell us, Oh they're psychopats, Yeah, they hate us.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Okay, you think that they're gonna be the ones who
- 15:39Speaker 3: have all of this control over the military and they're
- 15:41Speaker 3: just gonna turn around and they're gonna say, oh, here
- 15:43Speaker 3: you go, mister Prett. No, okay, they'll fight to the death.
- 15:46Speaker 3: They have tens of thousands of these people.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I mean, the whole thing this is this is a disaster.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Does that even if it ends today, it's a disaster already?
- 15:55Speaker 2: An utter, shameful, destructive, chaotic catastrophe. I was telling you before, Zar,
- 16:02Speaker 2: it's hard for me to think of a more reckless
- 16:06Speaker 2: action taken by any country, not just our country, but
- 16:09Speaker 2: taken by any country in modern history. I mean, in
- 16:12Speaker 2: terms of level of recklessness, it exceeds a rock. I
- 16:16Speaker 2: mean the lies that we're we don't know what the
- 16:19Speaker 2: objective is, we don't know what the goals are. We
- 16:21Speaker 2: don't know what the strategy is. Our allies are not
- 16:24Speaker 2: with us. They don't even bother to manufacture consent. It's
- 16:28Speaker 2: complete and utter insanity. And I think you have to
- 16:32Speaker 2: chalk it up to, you know, Trump being high on
- 16:34Speaker 2: his own supply, with Venezuela being a complete fucking idiot.
- 16:38Speaker 2: And also, I mean you have to look at the
- 16:40Speaker 2: Epstein FILESEGA. I don't know, maybe that is part of
- 16:42Speaker 2: what's driving the calculus here, because the whole thing seems
- 16:45Speaker 2: so incredibly insane. And now you've got effectively so the
- 16:50Speaker 2: Iranians have engaged you know what they call their mosaic strategy.
- 16:53Speaker 2: So these IRGC commanders are relatively empowered to make their
- 16:56Speaker 2: own decisions. So even if you keep taking out Iranian leaders,
- 17:01Speaker 2: they are still empowered to keep going. That makes it
- 17:04Speaker 2: very difficult to see an immediate term regime collapse. Not
- 17:08Speaker 2: to mention like, look, I'm not saying that the current
- 17:11Speaker 2: government in Iran is super popular. I don't think anyone
- 17:14Speaker 2: knows what the popular is, but they do have a
- 17:15Speaker 2: base of support. I mean, there were people who came
- 17:18Speaker 2: out who were mourning the assassination of the Ayatola, who
- 17:21Speaker 2: were deeply upset, and it will predictably have an impact
- 17:24Speaker 2: of a rally around the flag effect and stoking Iranian
- 17:28Speaker 2: nationalism within the country. So, you know, I think what
- 17:33Speaker 2: has happened here is Trump thought that their initial salvos
- 17:38Speaker 2: would be devastating enough that the regime would either topple
- 17:42Speaker 2: or they would be on such thin ice or such
- 17:45Speaker 2: shaky ground that they would feel they had to come
- 17:48Speaker 2: back to.
- 17:48Speaker 4: The negotiating table. And that has not happened.
- 17:51Speaker 2: That is a fundamental miscalculation that you know, if you
- 17:53Speaker 2: were listening to Tree, to Parsi, if you're listening to us,
- 17:56Speaker 2: if you were listening to Jeffrey Sacks, if you're listening
- 17:58Speaker 2: to Professor Merhersheimer, you would have known that is not
- 18:02Speaker 2: what is going to happen here.
- 18:07Speaker 4: So now here we are.
- 18:08Speaker 2: The President announced this devastating war where now American service
- 18:12Speaker 2: members have been killed. Announced this, you know, from his
- 18:16Speaker 2: golf club down at mar A Lago, wearing a ball
- 18:18Speaker 2: cap and a shirt and no tie. He then went
- 18:21Speaker 2: on to a fundraiser, million dollar fundraiser with put his
- 18:25Speaker 2: tie on.
- 18:26Speaker 4: For that part.
- 18:27Speaker 2: We have only heard that from him, these little interviews
- 18:30Speaker 2: where he's calling up various you know New York Times
- 18:32Speaker 2: or whoever to give them two minute interviews, one other
- 18:36Speaker 2: you know, pre edited statement that we just put out,
- 18:39Speaker 2: no live address, not taking any questions. You do have
- 18:42Speaker 2: a Secretary of War Pete Hegseth out this morning as
- 18:44Speaker 2: we speak, giving some sort of a press conference. There
- 18:47Speaker 2: were no administration officials on any of the Sunday shows.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Just think about this.
- 18:54Speaker 2: They have brought us into an illegal war with no
- 18:57Speaker 2: congressional approval, no public approval, well, no public support, and
- 19:01Speaker 2: then they are hiding from us. They won't even tell
- 19:04Speaker 2: us what is really going on, what the goals really are,
- 19:08Speaker 2: what the planning for this is, and what is going.
- 19:11Speaker 4: To happen next.
- 19:13Speaker 2: They don't even have enough respect to go out and
- 19:15Speaker 2: defend their positions on the Sunday shows. And we can
- 19:19Speaker 2: put we have an element to that effect. This is
- 19:21Speaker 2: a part to a eleven guys that you can put
- 19:25Speaker 2: up on the screen just showing what I'm saying here.
- 19:27Speaker 2: But this is one of the things that is utterly
- 19:30Speaker 2: stunning to me. You have now a massive regional war
- 19:35Speaker 2: with all of these strikes on allies down through and
- 19:38Speaker 2: they're taking damage in Dubai and the straight up hormus
- 19:41Speaker 2: shut down. Four service members at least killed and more wounded.
- 19:44Speaker 2: And the Israelis take all this stuff and they didn't
- 19:47Speaker 2: even go on the Sunday shows. Put a twelve up
- 19:51Speaker 2: on the screen here as well. White House just called
- 19:54Speaker 2: a lid for the day, meaning Trump's not expecting to
- 19:57Speaker 2: make any appearances before reporters.
- 19:58Speaker 4: That was at four point thirty on Sunday. I mean, Zager,
- 20:03Speaker 4: what can you even what can you even say about this?
- 20:05Speaker 1: Yeah, we're screwed.
- 20:06Speaker 3: And it's not just about screwed, it is reflective of
- 20:10Speaker 3: Remember after Venezuela Secretary Rubio did a press conference the
- 20:13Speaker 3: next day. Now you could say, look, I opposed the
- 20:15Speaker 3: Venezuela thing, but there was a plan. You kidnapped Maduro,
- 20:18Speaker 3: put Delsi in power. We're good to go.
- 20:20Speaker 1: They don't know what to do now.
- 20:22Speaker 3: I really believe that they're in way over their head already.
- 20:25Speaker 3: It has gone past what they already expected to have,
- 20:26Speaker 3: full blown regional war. The coordination wasn't there. You have
- 20:29Speaker 3: multiple Americans who are dead. The Iranians did not capitulate.
- 20:32Speaker 3: They thought we could just punch them in the face
- 20:34Speaker 3: and they're just going to keep coming back. But what
- 20:35Speaker 3: did we say here over and over again, They have
- 20:38Speaker 3: planned that they're going to take ninety percent casualties, and
- 20:40Speaker 3: that actually did happen. At the top, all of them
- 20:43Speaker 3: are dead. All the national they didn't care. They have
- 20:44Speaker 3: it dispersed, they have it ready to go. The entire regime,
- 20:48Speaker 3: basically at the top of the national security establishment has
- 20:50Speaker 3: been killed. Didn't stop a bunch of missiles flying into
- 20:53Speaker 3: Israel last night. Israel got pounded yesterday. Remember this too.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Israel has a massive amount of censorship. They're broadcasting the
- 21:01Speaker 3: IDF telling do not post videos because it gives the
- 21:03Speaker 3: battle damage assessment. We have no idea what the catastrophe
- 21:06Speaker 3: is like inside of Israel. But you look at that
- 21:08Speaker 3: image of that missile, and there were videos of ambulances
- 21:10Speaker 3: on the way there. God only knows how many people
- 21:13Speaker 3: were killed or the damage that happened. So keep in
- 21:16Speaker 3: mind that it's already gone past what they expected. And
- 21:19Speaker 3: now that's why he's scrambling. He keeps floating these things. Oh,
- 21:22Speaker 3: we'll talk to them. Yesterday he said, where we'll be talking.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Barack Revide goes on TV and goes when he says talking,
- 21:27Speaker 3: He doesn't mean talking to the current regime. Who's he
- 21:29Speaker 3: talking to the Shaws, fail Sun, the polity, idiot, Like
- 21:33Speaker 3: that's what we're dealing with. Wow, and it's catastrophic, I
- 21:36Speaker 3: mean beyond because like you just said with Iraq, Iraq
- 21:39Speaker 3: was worse, okay in terms of damage.
- 21:40Speaker 1: But the plan was there in Stallach Mictalabi.
- 21:44Speaker 3: We go in, we find the fake WMD dune industed,
- 21:48Speaker 3: the Coalition Provisional Authority. We didn't have a real plan,
- 21:51Speaker 3: but we had a fake plan. This one they don't
- 21:53Speaker 3: even have a fake one. I mean, they truly have
- 21:55Speaker 3: no idea what they're doing. The Secretary of Defense is
- 21:57Speaker 3: talking while you and I are now. He says, it's
- 21:59Speaker 3: not a regime chain war, but the regime shir did change.
- 22:01Speaker 3: We did not start this We did not start this war.
- 22:04Speaker 3: This is literally what he says. We didn't start this war,
- 22:06Speaker 3: but we will finish it. The aims are not regime changed,
- 22:08Speaker 3: even though the regime has changed. We're just going to
- 22:11Speaker 3: kill the navy. You think the navy. We're going to
- 22:13Speaker 3: make sure that they can no longer project power outside
- 22:15Speaker 3: of the region.
- 22:16Speaker 1: What does that even means? That's meaningless.
- 22:18Speaker 3: So we're going to replace the government via the air
- 22:20Speaker 3: which has literally never happened.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Ever, Yes, that is worth underscoring because I was listening
- 22:25Speaker 2: to Robert Pape on this. He's studied, he's an expert
- 22:28Speaker 2: on this, right, he studied all of the sense in
- 22:30Speaker 2: the history of air power being used in military conflict.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Do you know how many times it has worked out
- 22:36Speaker 2: that a regime has been placed purely through airstrikes? Zero
- 22:42Speaker 2: zero times, that is how often this has worked out.
- 22:45Speaker 2: And yet here we are, with all of this arrogance,
- 22:48Speaker 2: with all of his egotism, with all of this idiocy,
- 22:52Speaker 2: thinking this will be this will be the one time
- 22:55Speaker 2: that it's worked. It will work with a government that
- 22:57Speaker 2: has survived so much of us trying to destroy for
- 23:01Speaker 2: close to fifty years. This will be the time that
- 23:04Speaker 2: does have some popular race of support, by the way,
- 23:06Speaker 2: in the country, this will be the time that it
- 23:09Speaker 2: works out. What a bunch of fools, you know, on
- 23:12Speaker 2: these fake negotiations that were going on that were clearly
- 23:15Speaker 2: just a ruse in order to you know, buy them
- 23:18Speaker 2: time so that they could amass this wholamar ar mada
- 23:21Speaker 2: in the region and all of the air power that
- 23:23Speaker 2: we have remaining, you know, all of the interceptors we
- 23:25Speaker 2: have remaining, and all of that. There are reports that
- 23:29Speaker 2: you know, Kushner and Witcoff they couldn't even understand what
- 23:32Speaker 2: the Iranians were offering because if this was truly about
- 23:35Speaker 2: nuclear weapons, and we you know doctor true to Parsi,
- 23:37Speaker 2: if we've had on this show many times and he
- 23:39Speaker 2: was speaking to another I think over on MSNBC was
- 23:42Speaker 2: speaking to them. He said, listen, I was an informal
- 23:44Speaker 2: advisor to the nuclear talks back under the Obama administration,
- 23:48Speaker 2: and there is no doubt that what the Iranians were
- 23:51Speaker 2: offering here went way beyond what Obama was able to achieve.
- 23:56Speaker 2: They offered significantly more concessions. Trump wanted to just take
- 24:01Speaker 2: that win and say, look at what I did what
- 24:03Speaker 2: Obama could never do. Blah blah blah. That was there.
- 24:06Speaker 2: But again there are First of all, that was never
- 24:09Speaker 2: the goal. I mean, we've heard, oh, we care about
- 24:11Speaker 2: the protesters, we care about freedom, but we care about
- 24:13Speaker 2: the ballistic missiles.
- 24:15Speaker 4: Then we had it.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Oh, we're worried about their navy and oh and by
- 24:18Speaker 2: the way, the way, we're still worried about the nuclear weapons,
- 24:20Speaker 2: which we told you we obliterated during the last war.
- 24:23Speaker 2: So you know, I don't want to give them credence
- 24:26Speaker 2: to any of the lies and bullshit that they've told here.
- 24:28Speaker 2: But if it was really about nuclear weapons, if it
- 24:31Speaker 2: was really about the nuclear program, they offered far and
- 24:34Speaker 2: away beyond with the previous nuclear deal entailed, and there
- 24:38Speaker 2: are reports that Kushner and Witkoff could not even comprehend.
- 24:42Speaker 4: What was being said to them.
- 24:44Speaker 2: And that is again it's intentional because they weren't there
- 24:47Speaker 2: to negotiate. They were there to install and buy time
- 24:50Speaker 2: for this pre planned operation.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Now, let's turn to what we have now so far.
- 24:55Speaker 3: So one of the what are the pretexts that the
- 24:56Speaker 3: president gave nuclear weapons? Here's Senator Ted Krue saying openly
- 25:02Speaker 3: no evidence they were close to nuclear weapons, also backed
- 25:04Speaker 3: up by a Democratic senator.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Let's take a listen.
- 25:06Speaker 7: In terms of containing the risk, who's securing the nuclear
- 25:09Speaker 7: material that you say still exists within Iran? Who's doing that?
- 25:14Speaker 8: Look the quantity of nuclear material. I didn't say one
- 25:17Speaker 8: anything one way or another on that. What I said
- 25:20Speaker 8: is they were building nuclear weapons a year ago, and
- 25:23Speaker 8: our bombing took that out. They also had an ongoing
- 25:27Speaker 8: desire to rebuild them. I don't have present day intelligence
- 25:32Speaker 8: on what progress they had made towards rebuilding nuclear weapons
- 25:36Speaker 8: since we bombed their facilities. I have no indication that
- 25:41Speaker 8: they were anywhere close to getting nuclear weapons because our
- 25:44Speaker 8: bombing was devastating, and Margaret, that's one of the reasons
- 25:48Speaker 8: I urged President Trump.
- 25:50Speaker 5: Now is the time I think the President has started
- 25:53Speaker 5: a war of choice. There was no imminent threat to
- 25:59Speaker 5: the United States. So the decision to put our service
- 26:05Speaker 5: members in harm's way and bases around the region in
- 26:09Speaker 5: harm's way was entirely based upon the president's decision, not
- 26:15Speaker 5: an imminent threat to America. I saw no intelligence that
- 26:21Speaker 5: Iran was on the verge of launching any kind of
- 26:24Speaker 5: preemptive strike against the United States of America.
- 26:28Speaker 1: None, none, none.
- 26:32Speaker 3: That is from Ted Cruz. And so these are two
- 26:34Speaker 3: as pro war as it gets. If you think that
- 26:36Speaker 3: those people are lying. By the way, if you want
- 26:38Speaker 3: a little bit more of a view into how bad
- 26:40Speaker 3: the situation is, here's Senator Tom Cotton saying that there
- 26:43Speaker 3: will be no large ground force in Iran. Did you
- 26:47Speaker 3: hear the word no large ground force, not no ground force?
- 26:50Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 26:51Speaker 7: The President of the United States warned the American public
- 26:54Speaker 7: that there could be casualties. American casualties. Does that mean
- 26:59Speaker 7: the US is putting boo it's on the ground.
- 27:04Speaker 9: No, Margaret, the President has been clear that what we
- 27:06Speaker 9: should expect to see is an extended air and naval
- 27:10Speaker 9: campaign that's designed not only to continue to set back
- 27:13Speaker 9: Erun's nuclear ambitions, but most importantly to destroy its vast
- 27:18Speaker 9: missile arsenal. Many more missiles in the United States and
- 27:22Speaker 9: Israel have air defenses combined, as well as the missile
- 27:25Speaker 9: launchers and its missile manufacturing capability. Now, obviously, one risk
- 27:30Speaker 9: of that kind of campaign is that an aircraft could
- 27:32Speaker 9: be shot down, and the President would never leave a
- 27:34Speaker 9: pilot behind. So, no doubt we have combat search and
- 27:37Speaker 9: rescue assets in the region that are prepared to go
- 27:40Speaker 9: in and extract any down pilot. But barring that kind
- 27:43Speaker 9: of unusual circumstance, Margaret, the President has no plan for
- 27:46Speaker 9: any kind of large scale ground force inside of iran.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Large scale ground force.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Now, one of the reasons we have to play you
- 27:53Speaker 3: clips of Senator Ted Cruz and Senator Tom Cotton is
- 27:56Speaker 3: the White House explicitly said we're going to allow the
- 27:59Speaker 3: Senators to the talk for us on the Sunday shows.
- 28:01Speaker 3: As you referenced earlier, it is not a rule out
- 28:04Speaker 3: there of American ground troops that will set foot on Iranians.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Oil.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Well, I've got an update for you this morning. In
- 28:10Speaker 2: this Pete tag Seth press conference that's going on right now,
- 28:13Speaker 2: he got asked by a reporter are there currently any
- 28:15Speaker 2: American boots on the ground in Iran? And he said, no,
- 28:18Speaker 2: but we're not going to get into the exercise of
- 28:20Speaker 2: what we will or will not do. Let's take a
- 28:23Speaker 2: listen to that.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I have two questions for you. First, are there currently
- 28:28Speaker 1: any American boots on the ground in Iran?
- 28:32Speaker 10: No, but we're not going to go into the exercise
- 28:35Speaker 10: of what we will or will not do. I think
- 28:37Speaker 10: it's one of those fallacies for a long time that
- 28:40Speaker 10: this Department or presidents or others should tell the American
- 28:43Speaker 10: people and our enemies, by the way, here's exactly what
- 28:45Speaker 10: we'll do. Here's exactly how long we'll go, Here's exactly
- 28:48Speaker 10: how far we'll go. Here's what we're willing to do
- 28:51Speaker 10: and not do. It's foolishness, and so President Trump ensures
- 28:54Speaker 10: that our enemies understand, will go as far as we
- 28:57Speaker 10: need to go to advanced American inch But we're not
- 29:00Speaker 10: dumb about it. You don't have to roll two hundred
- 29:02Speaker 10: thousand people in there and stay for twenty years. We've
- 29:05Speaker 10: proven that you can achieve objectives that advance American interests
- 29:08Speaker 10: without being foolish about it. Now, will we be bold
- 29:11Speaker 10: about it? Are we willing to be decisive about it?
- 29:14Speaker 10: Do we put months and months of planning into what
- 29:16Speaker 10: kind of effects we want to achieve? Absolutely? But going forward,
- 29:20Speaker 10: why in the world would we tell you, you, the enemy, anybody,
- 29:25Speaker 10: what we will or will not do in pursuit of
- 29:27Speaker 10: an objective.
- 29:28Speaker 1: We fight to win.
- 29:29Speaker 10: We fight to achieve the objectives the President of the
- 29:32Speaker 10: United States has laid out, and we will do so unapologetically.
- 29:36Speaker 3: I mean and sager, well, they can't because now we're
- 29:39Speaker 3: in it, and we're in it now.
- 29:40Speaker 2: That's what scares me is what there is no offering there.
- 29:43Speaker 2: I mean, Trump cares about one thing. It's how things
- 29:45Speaker 2: look his ego and how things look on TVO and money.
- 29:47Speaker 4: You know, those are the things he cares about.
- 29:49Speaker 2: And for him to have said we are going to
- 29:53Speaker 2: there's going to be freedom in Iran and explicitly, remember guys,
- 29:57Speaker 2: explicitly frame this as a regime change war and to
- 30:02Speaker 2: go in and get your nose bloodied to have American
- 30:05Speaker 2: fighter just falling on the sky and getting killed. And
- 30:08Speaker 2: the Iranians are saying, no, we're not going back to
- 30:09Speaker 2: the Nogo shading table. How are you going to get
- 30:13Speaker 2: out of this? And you will not get I listen
- 30:16Speaker 2: to my words. They will not accomplish their goal here
- 30:18Speaker 2: of regime change through air power alone.
- 30:22Speaker 4: So what are you going to do? What are you
- 30:24Speaker 4: going to do?
- 30:25Speaker 2: And now we already have him saying, oh, you know,
- 30:28Speaker 2: we can't rule it out.
- 30:29Speaker 4: We're going to do what it takes.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Every day that this goes on.
- 30:32Speaker 3: The Kuwait thing, I mean that we're lucky that more
- 30:34Speaker 3: people have not already been killed. And by the way,
- 30:36Speaker 3: we don't even know what the real numbers. It only
- 30:39Speaker 3: takes one look at Afghanistan. Do you remember how we
- 30:42Speaker 3: would have the deadliest day in Afghanistan? It just takes
- 30:45Speaker 3: one Taliban guy, one lucky RPG and you've got like
- 30:50Speaker 3: thirty seals shot out of the sky. Right, That's it.
- 30:54Speaker 3: That's all it takes. And that happened twice in the
- 30:56Speaker 3: history of the War of Afghanistan. Helicopters, they're on their
- 30:59Speaker 3: way to something routine mission boom, all right, Now twenty
- 31:03Speaker 3: five people are without a they're widows, gold star families.
- 31:08Speaker 3: That's all it takes. That's all it takes. And then
- 31:10Speaker 3: that changes everything. Now, don't forget this. This I mean
- 31:14Speaker 3: one of the pretexts for the war is about what
- 31:16Speaker 3: Iran did to the United States during the war in Iraq,
- 31:19Speaker 3: which was basically take over much of the insurgency and
- 31:23Speaker 3: supply them with the sophisticated means to manufacture these IEDs.
- 31:28Speaker 3: This is called it was efp if I recall, which
- 31:30Speaker 3: is a very specific, deadly type of IED that was
- 31:33Speaker 3: dramatically more lethal than anything else that was seen on
- 31:36Speaker 3: the battlefield.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Now, look, that's true. It is true.
- 31:39Speaker 3: They are responsible for hundreds of debts in the war
- 31:41Speaker 3: in Iraq. We should have been there in the first place.
- 31:43Speaker 3: But I love that this pretext is now currently being used.
- 31:46Speaker 3: If you wanted to strike Iran for doing that, that
- 31:49Speaker 3: would have been the time. There are people alive watching
- 31:52Speaker 3: the show today who probably are There are people who
- 31:54Speaker 3: are watching the show today literally probably right now, who
- 31:57Speaker 3: were not even alive at the time when all that happened.
- 32:00Speaker 3: You can't use some twenty year old pretext. If you
- 32:02Speaker 3: wanted to kill him, he should have done it then.
- 32:04Speaker 3: And you think the Bush administration wasn't up to it.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Do you know why they didn't do it? Because they
- 32:08Speaker 3: were bogged down in Iraq already and they're like, well,
- 32:10Speaker 3: there's nothing that we can really do if we want
- 32:12Speaker 3: to branch into Iran.
- 32:13Speaker 1: That's really what this is about. But also think about
- 32:17Speaker 1: what that.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Means is that we're supposed to believe that this army,
- 32:21Speaker 3: which yes has this conventional capability right now of ballistic
- 32:23Speaker 3: missiles and all of that, is just going to go
- 32:25Speaker 3: quietly into the good night. If by your own admission,
- 32:28Speaker 3: they were capable of killing over a thousand Americans through
- 32:31Speaker 3: all these what you think they still don't have all
- 32:33Speaker 3: that technology. The IED still doesn't work, not even in
- 32:36Speaker 3: terms of occupations, SERMs sponsored terrorism. We're talking the blowback segment.
- 32:40Speaker 3: There's some very sketchy stuff going on with that terrorist attack.
- 32:43Speaker 3: You got a guy with an Iranian flag or with
- 32:45Speaker 3: Iranian flag underneath his garb, with the praise a lah
- 32:49Speaker 3: sweatshirt got pictures of the Iranian leader in his house,
- 32:52Speaker 3: according to police authorities, and this guy is from Senegal.
- 32:55Speaker 1: What the hell is going on here? Right? I mean,
- 32:57Speaker 1: this is bad. And we had no like planning or anything,
- 33:01Speaker 1: you know. I had to fly after the day after.
- 33:03Speaker 3: It's the first time in I don't even know a
- 33:05Speaker 3: decade where I'm like, I don't know, man, you know,
- 33:07Speaker 3: I mean, it shouldn't even be a question, right, It's
- 33:09Speaker 3: one of those where I was like, hope. So, by
- 33:11Speaker 3: the way, it's flying from Austin and in the time
- 33:13Speaker 3: that this terrorist attack literally broke out, how many people
- 33:16Speaker 3: are going to have that up there? You think I'm
- 33:17Speaker 3: going to Dubai anytime soon, which is the gateway too
- 33:19Speaker 3: much of Asia for a lot, for a lot of America. No,
- 33:23Speaker 3: most people shouldn't. This is the danger in what has
- 33:26Speaker 3: now been unleashed. And yeah, even though it's day three,
- 33:29Speaker 3: they're not backing down. Trump says it's going to take
- 33:32Speaker 3: what four weeks?
- 33:33Speaker 1: Is that what he said? He said four weeks, five weeks,
- 33:35Speaker 1: We'll see already.
- 33:36Speaker 3: Just yesterday in the New York Times, he floated cannibalizing
- 33:40Speaker 3: global stocks of ammunition. He says it won't be difficult.
- 33:42Speaker 3: We have tremendous amounts of AMMO. We have AMMO stored
- 33:45Speaker 3: all over the world. This is a nightmare if you
- 33:47Speaker 3: care about China and deterring Taiwan. We're done, all right,
- 33:50Speaker 3: We're done. We're already probably fifty percent blown through the
- 33:52Speaker 3: interceptor stock.
- 33:53Speaker 1: We have maybe three or four weeks left.
- 33:55Speaker 2: And last thing here, I'm just seeing this now because
- 33:58Speaker 2: European gas prices skyrocketing like fifty percent because of all
- 34:03Speaker 2: the you know, the shutdown of the Qatari LNG production
- 34:06Speaker 2: and you know, everything that's going on. The EU has
- 34:08Speaker 2: now reached a quote panic moment, as not all member.
- 34:12Speaker 4: States have sufficient energy reserves.
- 34:13Speaker 2: A leading energy analyst says that EU is likely to
- 34:16Speaker 2: do what increase energy imports from Russia.
- 34:19Speaker 4: So congrats, guys, way to go.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Yeah, congratulations.
- 34:22Speaker 3: Actually, Regula putin the Kremlin doing backflips right now. Oh yeah,
- 34:26Speaker 3: Oil at one hundred will fund the war in Ukraine
- 34:29Speaker 3: for five years. For all of you neo Kon idiots
- 34:31Speaker 3: who supported, you know, taking or doing the war with
- 34:34Speaker 3: Iran and quote support Ukraine.
- 34:36Speaker 1: You just bought another one hundred k casualties on the battlefield.
- 34:39Speaker 1: So congrats to you.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Turning down to the global markets absolutely royaled this morning. Well,
- 34:47Speaker 3: start with the most important Let's put this up here
- 34:49Speaker 3: on the screen. Qatar Energy has now stopped all LNG production.
- 34:53Speaker 3: If they shut down production fourteen trains. A statements war
- 34:56Speaker 3: suggests that is twenty percent of the global output. Single
- 35:00Speaker 3: company is the world's largest LNG producer. European markets spiking
- 35:05Speaker 3: fifty percent this morning for liquefied natural gas, indicating that
- 35:10Speaker 3: they may have to wait for it buy gas from Russia.
- 35:14Speaker 3: In addition, we are now watching oil skyrocket in price. Guys,
- 35:18Speaker 3: can we go ahead and put that one up here
- 35:20Speaker 3: on the screen from B four oil markets that are
- 35:23Speaker 3: currently at least ten percent of a spike, and it
- 35:26Speaker 3: is potentially headed for some one hundred dollars per barrel. Already,
- 35:31Speaker 3: they are indicating that gas will likely rise within the
- 35:34Speaker 3: next week as there's some restock and negotiations that are
- 35:38Speaker 3: currently happening. As I indicated to everyone earlier, let's put
- 35:42Speaker 3: B two on the screen. You can see that the
- 35:44Speaker 3: insurers have already said that they're going to dramatically raise
- 35:47Speaker 3: the insurance price for any ship which is in the
- 35:49Speaker 3: vicinity of the Straits of Hormuz at least by as
- 35:52Speaker 3: much as fifty percent, several hundred thousand dollars per shipment
- 35:56Speaker 3: for probably not only the world's choke point for oil,
- 36:00Speaker 3: but in particular this will massively impact markets in Asia,
- 36:04Speaker 3: where the predominant number of their amount of their oil
- 36:07Speaker 3: moves through. Also, we have significant amounts of other goods
- 36:10Speaker 3: that move through the Straits, and the shutdown of that
- 36:12Speaker 3: could cause crises in the Gulf very very soon. Now,
- 36:15Speaker 3: in terms of our own markets, we're recording this right
- 36:18Speaker 3: after the market open, so we can go ahead and
- 36:20Speaker 3: put the CNBC tear sheet up on the screen. Keep
- 36:22Speaker 3: in mind, you know, we are doing our best right now,
- 36:24Speaker 3: because things may move and change by the end of
- 36:27Speaker 3: the day. But at the moment that we are recording this,
- 36:29Speaker 3: it looks like the Dow is down by five hundred
- 36:31Speaker 3: points by down at least one percent, about a one
- 36:33Speaker 3: percent drop in the s and P five hundred, a
- 36:36Speaker 3: one percent drop in the Nasdaq. The rustle is down
- 36:38Speaker 3: by about one point six to eight percent, and US
- 36:40Speaker 3: Tenure looks like it's down by about four percent. The VIX,
- 36:44Speaker 3: which is like a volatility index, up some seventeen point
- 36:46Speaker 3: nine percent, and gold and bitcoin both moving a little
- 36:50Speaker 3: bit in a higher direction. The dollar also increasing in value,
- 36:54Speaker 3: So you can see that there's already been global market reaction.
- 36:56Speaker 3: But by far, I would say the number one headline
- 36:59Speaker 3: out of this crystal is LNG liquified natural gas. Remember
- 37:03Speaker 3: this is how you We're all getting electricity, and so
- 37:06Speaker 3: our electric prices might be going up. Energy, LNG and
- 37:10Speaker 3: oil are global commodities. So just because the price goes
- 37:13Speaker 3: up somewhere else doesn't mean that it won't necessarily affect you.
- 37:16Speaker 3: And then we also will have to show you this
- 37:19Speaker 3: Saudi Aramco. Let's put B one B up here on
- 37:22Speaker 3: the screen. This was video just coming out this morning,
- 37:26Speaker 3: Saudi official telling all Arabia that spires at Saudi Aramco
- 37:29Speaker 3: are quote not the result of a directive of Trannian strike,
- 37:32Speaker 3: but were caused by falling debris from an intercepted drone.
- 37:35Speaker 3: But regardless, obviously a drone going after Saudi Aramco the
- 37:40Speaker 3: largest oil refining export facility in the entire world.
- 37:43Speaker 1: The refinery has.
- 37:44Speaker 3: The capacity of some five hundred and fifty thousand barrels
- 37:47Speaker 3: per day, in a significant portion of the global oil
- 37:50Speaker 3: supply in that single field at that processing facility. So
- 37:54Speaker 3: the Iranians are awaging a full blown economic war, I
- 37:57Speaker 3: think on multiple fronts. So if we think about the
- 38:00Speaker 3: states outside of Saudi, for them, it was energy plus prestige.
- 38:04Speaker 3: So they've crippled now the Katari gas field. Now they've
- 38:07Speaker 3: already had bombs and things go off in the middle
- 38:09Speaker 3: of Doha falling intercepted missiles the UAE. The way that
- 38:13Speaker 3: Dubai was trying to get, you know, past its energy
- 38:16Speaker 3: image was to become this global powerhouse for the rich.
- 38:19Speaker 3: The Fairmount Hotel and the Bersh Khalifa literally on fire. Right,
- 38:23Speaker 3: You've got all these like Western girl influencers who are
- 38:27Speaker 3: probably being paid to be over there, like hanging out
- 38:30Speaker 3: in tank tops at the gym. Now scrambling to the airport.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Oh oops, except you can't get out because the entire
- 38:35Speaker 3: airport shut down. Semaphore reporting this morning. The going rate
- 38:39Speaker 3: for a PJ out of Saudi today is three hundred
- 38:42Speaker 3: and fifty grand for a single one way flight. For
- 38:45Speaker 3: a single one way flight, So the princes might be
- 38:48Speaker 3: able to make it, some of the you know, people
- 38:50Speaker 3: who pay those influencers might be able to make it.
- 38:52Speaker 3: But if you're there on a tourist visa. You're stuck
- 38:55Speaker 3: for the time being. The entire region's airspace is basically
- 38:59Speaker 3: shut down. I think single commercial passenger plane has left.
- 39:02Speaker 3: I think Abu Dhabi like in the last twenty four hours.
- 39:05Speaker 3: If you look at global air traffic, it's all going around.
- 39:09Speaker 3: You got missiles, drones and all this stuff that's flying
- 39:11Speaker 3: up there. Don't forget what happened in Ukraine. You remember
- 39:14Speaker 3: when those passenger planes got accidentally shot out of the skool,
- 39:17Speaker 3: accidentally shot out of the sky literally, So I mean.
- 39:20Speaker 1: This is serious stuff. This is danger this is extremely dangerous.
- 39:23Speaker 3: And the global economic impact in the gas market, we
- 39:26Speaker 3: haven't seen anything like this since Ukraine. Except now, ironically,
- 39:29Speaker 3: we're going to massively fund the Russian war efforts. So
- 39:31Speaker 3: congratulations to all of the neocons for dramatically enriching the Kremlin.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, those images of the burning Dubai hotels
- 39:38Speaker 2: are crazy. And the theory is that Iran targeted some
- 39:41Speaker 2: of these hotels because service members have kept had been
- 39:44Speaker 2: moved off of bases to be kept safe, and so
- 39:47Speaker 2: the Iranians targeted with these.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Again, these are like thirty.
- 39:51Speaker 2: To fifty thousand dollars drones that they're using en mass
- 39:55Speaker 2: that they mass produce is the same thing that you know,
- 39:57Speaker 2: the houthis were armed with by the Iranian that they're
- 40:01Speaker 2: using to you know, attack hotels in Dubai.
- 40:04Speaker 4: Crazy crazy stuff. Let's put this B six up on
- 40:07Speaker 4: the screen.
- 40:07Speaker 2: And Financial Times had good analysis about what all this
- 40:10Speaker 2: could mean. They talked to an analyst who said, yes,
- 40:13Speaker 2: oil could go up to you know, one hundred dollars
- 40:15Speaker 2: a barrel. They said, how dangerous would that be to
- 40:17Speaker 2: US growth? Given the fact that we are largely energy
- 40:20Speaker 2: self sufficient at this point. It is a different dynamic
- 40:23Speaker 2: than you know in the seventies or whatever. And they say,
- 40:26Speaker 2: but that doesn't mean in an interruption to Gulf oil
- 40:29Speaker 2: flows would be irrelevant to the US economy. Given the
- 40:32Speaker 2: impact on oil benchmarks, sharply, higher global oil prices can
- 40:35Speaker 2: inflict pain on US consumers and corporate America. This would
- 40:38Speaker 2: feed into higher gas prices, placing a visible strand on consumers,
- 40:42Speaker 2: many of whom are already complaining about a cost of
- 40:44Speaker 2: living crisis ahead of November's crucial midterm elections. Oil of
- 40:47Speaker 2: one hundred dollars a barrel could push consumer price inflation
- 40:50Speaker 2: from two point four percent in this year to January
- 40:53Speaker 2: to above four percent. FED targets two percent inflation is
- 40:56Speaker 2: measured by the annual change in the price index for
- 40:58Speaker 2: personal consumption expenditures. In the short term, that would make
- 41:01Speaker 2: the US Federal Reserve less likely to cut interest rates,
- 41:05Speaker 2: which of course is something that Trump has been wanting
- 41:07Speaker 2: them to do. So you're talking about interest rates staying
- 41:10Speaker 2: relatively high. You're talking about inflation overall because of the way,
- 41:14Speaker 2: of course oil prices feed into everything, and you're talking
- 41:18Speaker 2: higher prices at the pump, and you know, you'll recall
- 41:22Speaker 2: back at the beginning early days of the Ukraine War,
- 41:25Speaker 2: there was polling that people were like, yes, I am
- 41:28Speaker 2: actually willing to pay more at the pump because I
- 41:30Speaker 2: believe this was an unjust, unprovoked war of aggression from
- 41:34Speaker 2: the Russians. We want to support Ukraine, like we want
- 41:36Speaker 2: to be on their side. We're willing to take some pain.
- 41:38Speaker 2: I think we're both a little skeptical at the time
- 41:40Speaker 2: how long that would last, rightly so, but this time
- 41:43Speaker 2: I want to see the polling go, ask people you
- 41:46Speaker 2: willing to pay four bucks a gallon for gas so
- 41:49Speaker 2: that we can do whatever the hell we're doing right
- 41:51Speaker 2: now and have American service members.
- 41:53Speaker 4: Killed, et cetera. There is zero appetite for this.
- 41:56Speaker 2: I mean, going into this war, you had maybe twenty
- 41:59Speaker 2: to three thirty percent of the American public who were like, yes,
- 42:03Speaker 2: we're with Iran. Many of them live right here in
- 42:05Speaker 2: the broader DMV region. In any case, you think that
- 42:09Speaker 2: people are willing to pay any like, have any pain
- 42:13Speaker 2: in their lives because of this, and then you look
- 42:16Speaker 2: at the fact, you know, we've had these massive cuts
- 42:17Speaker 2: to the social safety net this year, You've had healthcare cuts,
- 42:21Speaker 2: You've had you know, you had the whole Doge thing,
- 42:23Speaker 2: and all kinds of you know, things that were that
- 42:25Speaker 2: have been made more the life made more difficult for people.
- 42:29Speaker 2: And meanwhile, we're letting one hundred million dollar fighter jets
- 42:32Speaker 2: get drop down to the sky reportedly by our allies,
- 42:36Speaker 2: and God only knows how much is being spent on
- 42:38Speaker 2: this whole absolute catastrophe.
- 42:40Speaker 1: They'll never tell you.
- 42:41Speaker 3: I mean, do you do you want to know what
- 42:42Speaker 3: the operating costs? And a B two bomber is, that's
- 42:45Speaker 3: a thirty six hour mission from the United States over there.
- 42:48Speaker 3: It's millions of dollars. Everything that think even every time
- 42:51Speaker 3: it leaves the base. Every Tomahawk missile mill in hundreds
- 42:56Speaker 3: of thousands, half of them, not half, but a decent
- 42:59Speaker 3: number of Sometimes they don't even explode.
- 43:01Speaker 4: In Nigeria, quarter of them didn't explode.
- 43:03Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 43:03Speaker 3: And then you know the amount of money that were
- 43:05Speaker 3: spent to General Kine this morning said more troops already
- 43:10Speaker 3: on the way. So we already had tens of thousands
- 43:12Speaker 3: of troops who were in the region. Now he's saying
- 43:14Speaker 3: more troops. Anybody remember what it was like in the
- 43:16Speaker 3: middle of a rock God, you know, I really feel
- 43:19Speaker 3: Already there was a report coming out for one of
- 43:22Speaker 3: the guys who was injured, Navy reservist nine to one
- 43:25Speaker 3: to one dispatcher. I mean, can this person probably signed up,
- 43:29Speaker 3: you know, for extra month. I mean, look, I'm not
- 43:31Speaker 3: saying he's not a patriot or any of that, but
- 43:32Speaker 3: he probably never imagined he's going to be in the
- 43:34Speaker 3: middle of a war zone like one weekend a month,
- 43:37Speaker 3: one week in a month or whatever.
- 43:38Speaker 1: And it's I mean, just this is what I watched
- 43:41Speaker 1: this happen with the rock. I know people like.
- 43:42Speaker 3: That, and'm sure that fired firemen in the National Guard.
- 43:46Speaker 3: Next thing you know, he's pulling a sixteen month tour
- 43:47Speaker 3: in Iraq right watching people getting blown up by IEDs.
- 43:51Speaker 3: We may not be that far away from that, unfortunately,
- 43:53Speaker 3: considering what Secretary headsect this morning. But considering, you know,
- 43:57Speaker 3: just on the global economic implication here, it's only day three.
- 44:01Speaker 3: We got to shut down here in LNG. Even if
- 44:04Speaker 3: things quote unquote go back to normal, like if the
- 44:06Speaker 3: war ended today, think about already you have the Straits
- 44:11Speaker 3: of Hornmoz problem. The Iranians at least have some limited
- 44:14Speaker 3: amount of deterrence in that region. You also have a
- 44:17Speaker 3: hardline faction in Iran, which I'm doubtful is ever really
- 44:20Speaker 3: going to truly surrender. Then you've got the Gulf Arab prestige.
- 44:25Speaker 3: What's happened to them? Have we talked about the UAE
- 44:27Speaker 3: stock market. I think we have, yeah, B three put
- 44:29Speaker 3: that one up there. The UAE literally is closing its
- 44:32Speaker 3: entire stock exchange for two days in order to stop
- 44:36Speaker 3: the amount of drop, in order to stop the losses
- 44:39Speaker 3: that they're likely to incur. We'll talk about this later
- 44:42Speaker 3: with Professor Zong. I mean, you had a Amazon data
- 44:45Speaker 3: center take a hit in the middle of the UAE.
- 44:49Speaker 3: That is disastrous for them because their whole economic pitch was, hey, guys, we've.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Got plenty of cheap energy over here.
- 44:55Speaker 3: There ain't no nimbiism out you know, out in the desert.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Fill to whatever you want, take as much stuck, as
- 45:02Speaker 3: much oil out of the ground, will power it for you.
- 45:05Speaker 3: And we've got millions of dollars to boot. You think
- 45:07Speaker 3: they're not going to rethink that all of these data
- 45:09Speaker 3: center companies and others, they're going to be building them
- 45:12Speaker 3: out in.
- 45:12Speaker 1: The Middle East.
- 45:13Speaker 3: I mean, this is a I mean an absolute disaster already. Also,
- 45:19Speaker 3: what we have shown for the golf, they can't have
- 45:22Speaker 3: nearly that much faith in the United For years, the
- 45:24Speaker 3: trade was we sell you the oil, we buy your weapons,
- 45:28Speaker 3: you protect us.
- 45:29Speaker 1: It's not working.
- 45:30Speaker 3: I mean at the very like with these drones, there's
- 45:33Speaker 3: not much you can do against them as far as
- 45:35Speaker 3: I know from what I talk to some of the experts.
- 45:38Speaker 3: The way that the Ukrainians deal with these Iranian drones,
- 45:40Speaker 3: you put a belt fed machine gun and you just
- 45:42Speaker 3: fire it at them.
- 45:43Speaker 1: That's basically all you can do, although.
- 45:45Speaker 3: That requires a lot of ammunition, which you know, even
- 45:48Speaker 3: then we're already talking about having to cannibalize global stocks,
- 45:53Speaker 3: our companies, our defense base is not prepared for the
- 45:57Speaker 3: spin up that was going to be required. If this
- 45:59Speaker 3: last more than three months, we're going to have serious problems,
- 46:03Speaker 3: serious serious problems, like we're going to be down to
- 46:06Speaker 3: the absolute scraps. This is what the generals were warning about.
- 46:09Speaker 3: I just saw a report this morning from inside of Iran.
- 46:13Speaker 3: They say, so far, Iran has declined three requests for mediation.
- 46:17Speaker 3: From day Tehran's perspective, the country possesses the capacity and
- 46:20Speaker 3: preparedness to sustain high intensity conflict for a period of
- 46:23Speaker 3: approximately sixty to ninety days. Within this strategic calculus, accepting
- 46:27Speaker 3: a ceasefire in early stage would not constitute an advantage. Rather,
- 46:30Speaker 3: it would carry greater long term strategic costs than continuing
- 46:33Speaker 3: the confrontation. For them, they're going to say, let's take
- 46:36Speaker 3: as many casualties as we can to sustain for sixty
- 46:39Speaker 3: to ninety days, inflect maximum damage on all of these people,
- 46:42Speaker 3: cripple them, and bring them to high risk strategy, right
- 46:45Speaker 3: because I mean, look at the videos that we've already
- 46:47Speaker 3: showed you.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Who knows how many thousands of people are dead? In Tehran.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Do you think the Israelis care about civilian casualty? They're
- 46:53Speaker 3: carpet bombing that place from what we already saw last night,
- 46:57Speaker 3: So I mean it's it's a catastrophe. Like literally it
- 47:00Speaker 3: could end today and already everything has changed.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Absolutely okay, absolutely the case.
- 47:05Speaker 2: And I just can't get some of these images on
- 47:07Speaker 2: my head, that plane plummeting to the ground, the you know,
- 47:11Speaker 2: there's one going around. We didn't put in the show
- 47:13Speaker 2: because we weren't one hundred percent sure that this is real,
- 47:16Speaker 2: but it appears to show an American service member on
- 47:19Speaker 2: the ground surrendering as a local KUWAITI who found him,
- 47:23Speaker 2: you know, has a stick over his head ready to
- 47:25Speaker 2: beat his ass. I mean, humiliation, like this is horrifying humiliation.
- 47:31Speaker 2: And we're supposed to be the whole point of all
- 47:35Speaker 2: of the foreign adventurism from this maniac of a president
- 47:39Speaker 2: that we have is supposed to be about maintaining our
- 47:42Speaker 2: status as the undisputed global hedgemon. That's what it's, that's
- 47:47Speaker 2: what really at its core, you know, And he functions
- 47:50Speaker 2: in this like mob boss, ego driven way.
- 47:53Speaker 4: That's what it's supposed to be.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Throwing our weight around. This is what it means to
- 47:56Speaker 2: make America great again.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Blah blah blah.
- 47:59Speaker 2: You have these menches of American service members at the
- 48:02Speaker 2: mercy of just random local people in Kuwait or in
- 48:07Speaker 2: other places that are supposed to be our allies. It's
- 48:11Speaker 2: you know, how are you going to persist as the
- 48:13Speaker 2: global superpower when this is the level of humiliation that
- 48:17Speaker 2: you're already suffering. And listen, I mean, let me be clear,
- 48:19Speaker 2: Like there's no doubt our military is much bigger than
- 48:22Speaker 2: the Irani military, like us in the Israelis, we can
- 48:25Speaker 2: inflict much more damage on them than they can.
- 48:27Speaker 4: Do to us. But for them, this is existential. They
- 48:30Speaker 4: will fight to the death.
- 48:31Speaker 2: And by the way, a lot of people in the
- 48:33Speaker 2: Iranian government like they actually believe in what they're fighting for,
- 48:37Speaker 2: Like they are actually committed to some principle. It might
- 48:40Speaker 2: not be principles we agree with, but they are actually
- 48:42Speaker 2: committed to some principle and willing to fight for those principles,
- 48:45Speaker 2: which we're seeing. Not to mention that they're fighting for
- 48:48Speaker 2: their lives and the very existence of their country and
- 48:50Speaker 2: their government to continue. They have I mean to say,
- 48:53Speaker 2: they have more skin in the game. Here is just
- 48:55Speaker 2: like the unbelievable understatement. So listen, the economic warfare is
- 49:01Speaker 2: going to be just as central to this as the
- 49:03Speaker 2: military warfare. And the Iranians know that with our allies
- 49:08Speaker 2: and Gulf they are incredibly vulnerable. The Israelis and their
- 49:12Speaker 2: whole defense tech sector, they're very vulnerable orthough they think
- 49:16Speaker 2: they are actually willing to take some pain in order
- 49:18Speaker 2: to take the Iranian government off the map. And let
- 49:21Speaker 2: me say something else about our great Israeli friends. Do
- 49:25Speaker 2: you think that they care that much if we're weakened?
- 49:28Speaker 2: And no, no, because guess what, then we're not as
- 49:32Speaker 2: much of a factor in the Middle East. They can
- 49:34Speaker 2: be even more of the undisputed heavyweight in the Middle
- 49:38Speaker 2: East throwing their weight around.
- 49:39Speaker 4: So they don't give a shit.
- 49:40Speaker 2: They don't give a shit about American lives, they don't
- 49:42Speaker 2: give a shit about American equipment, American hedgemond, they don't
- 49:46Speaker 2: care that, you could argue they have an interest in
- 49:49Speaker 2: seeing us get into this foolish war and be humiliated
- 49:53Speaker 2: and have our economy tank and collapse on the global stage.
- 49:56Speaker 2: So listen, that's why paying attention to what happens here
- 49:59Speaker 2: with with oil, with natural gas with you know, the
- 50:04Speaker 2: tourism economies that all of these you know, goldfare up
- 50:06Speaker 2: states have tried to build up. All of that is
- 50:10Speaker 2: going to make a huge difference in terms of how
- 50:12Speaker 2: long the US is going to be able to sustain
- 50:15Speaker 2: any sort of political will for this conflict.
- 50:18Speaker 4: And I'll tell you that Warpowers.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Resolution vote is going to be very interesting this week,
- 50:22Speaker 2: as you already see, you know, as you already see
- 50:26Speaker 2: like blowback obviously in terms of the markets. So then
- 50:28Speaker 2: we're going to talk about the global blowback as well.
- 50:30Speaker 1: I hope that we get the vote. I'm not sure.
- 50:33Speaker 1: All right, let's get to blowback.
- 50:37Speaker 3: Turning now to blowback, of course, the term coined originally
- 50:41Speaker 3: by the CIA back in the nineteen fifties about operations
- 50:44Speaker 3: abroad which may blowback on the United States at home,
- 50:47Speaker 3: is already materializing as a result of this Iran conflict.
- 50:51Speaker 3: Let's start already with a very sketchy and strange incident
- 50:54Speaker 3: in Austin, Texas, where I literally was at the time
- 50:56Speaker 3: of the shooting. Let's go and put this up here
- 50:58Speaker 3: on the screen. The FBI is currently a Texas bar
- 51:01Speaker 3: shooting that killed two and wounded fourteen. As a possible
- 51:04Speaker 3: terrorist act. So what they say is that the gunman
- 51:07Speaker 3: was wearing clothes with an Iranian flag design and the
- 51:10Speaker 3: words property of Allah. Killed two people and wounded fourteen
- 51:14Speaker 3: in early Sunday morning at a Texas bar. The FBI
- 51:18Speaker 3: already investigating the shooting already. There's some indications that this
- 51:22Speaker 3: man had pictures actually of the Iranian leader in his
- 51:26Speaker 3: home at the time of the shooting, whenever it was
- 51:29Speaker 3: busted down by the FBI. He was killed in the
- 51:32Speaker 3: incident by the Austin Police Department. However, all of the
- 51:35Speaker 3: circumstances around this are extremely bizarre. The perpetrator appears to
- 51:40Speaker 3: be a Senegalese naturalized citizen of the United States who
- 51:45Speaker 3: came back I believe under Bill Clinton over state of Visa,
- 51:50Speaker 3: married a US citizen, was able to get a green
- 51:53Speaker 3: cart eventually became a naturalized US citizen under several years ago,
- 51:57Speaker 3: so it's been a citizen for over fifteen years. But
- 52:00Speaker 3: I mean, you've got a person here who's again literally
- 52:02Speaker 3: from Senegal, which I.
- 52:03Speaker 1: Didn't even know.
- 52:04Speaker 3: There are a lot of Muslims in Senegal, but whatever,
- 52:06Speaker 3: who is now apparently some sort of acolyte or inspired
- 52:10Speaker 3: by the attack on the Iranians, which has already happened
- 52:13Speaker 3: on the very day of the attack. I mean, look,
- 52:16Speaker 3: you know, if you ask me, you shouldn't be here,
- 52:17Speaker 3: but you're here now.
- 52:18Speaker 1: I mean, what do we do? This is the exact
- 52:20Speaker 1: problem that we have right now.
- 52:23Speaker 3: I mean some of the right wing fever dream has
- 52:26Speaker 3: always been like, look, there could be like terrorists other people,
- 52:29Speaker 3: but like, actually, I mean, for real, though, this is crazy.
- 52:31Speaker 3: You literally have a guy from Senegal who's been a
- 52:33Speaker 3: naturalized citizen with pictures of it. Look, he could be crazy, right,
- 52:37Speaker 3: I'm not going to put that past anybody. But of
- 52:39Speaker 3: course this is the same problem that we would have
- 52:41Speaker 3: during the global War on Terror. And I'm not saying
- 52:43Speaker 3: that's you know, just because people are here and they
- 52:45Speaker 3: want to throw at a TERI stac doesn't mean that
- 52:48Speaker 3: we shouldn't do something abroad. But you should think about
- 52:51Speaker 3: it a little bit, and maybe the FBI director shouldn't
- 52:53Speaker 3: be chugging beers in Milan at the time, allegedly around
- 52:57Speaker 3: the same go time that the order was issued by
- 52:59Speaker 3: the United States government, So did anybody think about it
- 53:01Speaker 3: at all?
- 53:02Speaker 1: They're like, hey, maybe we.
- 53:03Speaker 3: Should heighten our terror alert maybe we should think about
- 53:06Speaker 3: potential terrorist attacks here or is that going to happen
- 53:08Speaker 3: here at home? Apparently to them the cost was worth it.
- 53:10Speaker 3: Not worth it to me, Yeah, it's not worth it
- 53:12Speaker 3: to me.
- 53:12Speaker 2: And here's the thing is, without buying into a bunch
- 53:15Speaker 2: of unproven whatever about Iranian sleeper cells here in the US,
- 53:19Speaker 2: is it any support? Like, do you think our actions
- 53:22Speaker 2: around the globe right now are going to make people
- 53:24Speaker 2: love us? Do you think they're going to inspire love
- 53:26Speaker 2: for this country and desire to see, you know, to
- 53:29Speaker 2: see to our well being. We oversaw a genocide for years.
- 53:33Speaker 2: I mean that is our genocide as much as it
- 53:35Speaker 2: was the Israelis just utterly obliterated Gaza. We just bombed
- 53:40Speaker 2: alongside the Israelis. We just bombed schoolgirls, murdering over a
- 53:44Speaker 2: hundred of them already. There have been something like eight
- 53:48Speaker 2: hospitals in Iran that have been bombed. Just a bully,
- 53:53Speaker 2: just a bully throwing our weight around might mix right,
- 53:56Speaker 2: no care concern about the barbarism. And look, the Ayatola
- 54:01Speaker 2: was not only the leader of Iran, he was also
- 54:03Speaker 2: a spiritual leader for Shia Muslims. Okay, And just imagine
- 54:08Speaker 2: if like, you know, we seem to have this sort
- 54:10Speaker 2: of aniseptic view of like, oh, of course we can
- 54:12Speaker 2: just like assassinate world leaders. That's fine and good. And
- 54:14Speaker 2: by the way, his family, his wife and his grandchildren
- 54:17Speaker 2: and whatever alongside it. Imagine that was done for Trump
- 54:19Speaker 2: and Milania and Baron, Like, just put it in that perspective.
- 54:22Speaker 4: How do you think that's going to make people feel?
- 54:25Speaker 2: And of course, if you can't, you know, project your
- 54:27Speaker 2: own like consciousness onto the situation, you don't have to.
- 54:31Speaker 2: Because we lived through the Iraq War. We saw the
- 54:34Speaker 2: way that it created chaos and spun up terror groups
- 54:37Speaker 2: and caused all sorts of problems not only for our
- 54:39Speaker 2: service members, but created chaos throughout the entire region and
- 54:43Speaker 2: dealt a devastating blow to the US in terms of,
- 54:47Speaker 2: you know, the future and the status of our country,
- 54:49Speaker 2: and not to mention the amount of money and obviously
- 54:51Speaker 2: the horror and the lives lost that you know of
- 54:54Speaker 2: our own service members and also of the many innocent
- 54:56Speaker 2: civilians millions of innocent civilians who were killed in that
- 54:59Speaker 2: concent liked as well.
- 55:00Speaker 4: So no, I mean.
- 55:02Speaker 2: It's entirely predictable that, far from keeping us safer, which
- 55:09Speaker 2: is what we're being sold.
- 55:10Speaker 4: Far from keeping us safer or preventing some.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Undefined risk, this has created much more danger and put
- 55:18Speaker 2: everybody at much more risk.
- 55:20Speaker 4: That is the direct impact of what.
- 55:22Speaker 3: We're I'm going to be at risk. It better be
- 55:23Speaker 3: for something important. It better not be for some shit
- 55:26Speaker 3: like this. Let's continue, by the way to your point.
- 55:28Speaker 3: I mean already, the signs are all around the globe.
- 55:31Speaker 3: Let's put this video up here on the screen. This
- 55:33Speaker 3: is from Baghdad just yesterday, inside of the green zone,
- 55:37Speaker 3: the perimeter where the US embassy is, the most expensive
- 55:39Speaker 3: US embassy ever built, where you could see thousands of
- 55:44Speaker 3: maybe hundreds of protesters with flash bang grenades and other
- 55:48Speaker 3: things that are all going off clashes between the security forces.
- 55:52Speaker 3: Shall I remind everybody there's a massive Shia population inside
- 55:56Speaker 3: of Iraq. That was the whole problem that we had
- 55:58Speaker 3: with the civil war that broke well here is exactly
- 56:02Speaker 3: the reason.
- 56:02Speaker 1: You know, one of the things that we've.
- 56:03Speaker 3: Talked about is that how we rock became basically an
- 56:05Speaker 3: Iranian proxy state as a result of the US invasion.
- 56:08Speaker 3: This is you know, prototypical example number one. They have
- 56:11Speaker 3: a lot of sympathy you have US Basis embassy in Airbel.
- 56:15Speaker 3: We had some video, actually at least some of we
- 56:18Speaker 3: know for sure that there was some sort of Iranian
- 56:20Speaker 3: strike on Airbel in northern Iraq, where there's a significant
- 56:24Speaker 3: amount of US forces and ammunition which is stored there,
- 56:27Speaker 3: and of course was under attack by proportedly some Shia
- 56:30Speaker 3: militias and potentially even some of these Iranian drones. They're
- 56:34Speaker 3: also major confrontation that happened in Pakistan. If we put
- 56:39Speaker 3: this video up here on the screen, I mean, you're
- 56:41Speaker 3: what you're watching here was this consulate in Karachi in Pakistan.
- 56:46Speaker 3: Violent clashes in two instances where at least ten fifteen
- 56:51Speaker 3: people were killed. The Pakistanis are saying that it's by
- 56:54Speaker 3: the local security forces, but you could also see, you know,
- 56:57Speaker 3: US personnel are behind these walls and these compounds, and
- 57:00Speaker 3: it has erupted all over Pakistan with violent protests against
- 57:05Speaker 3: the United States. You can see very clearly that this
- 57:08Speaker 3: is already happening. I mean, look, just read a book
- 57:12Speaker 3: I'm talked about Israel. Sure, I mean, look, I'm not
- 57:16Speaker 3: excusing in any way Al Qaeda, but I do think
- 57:19Speaker 3: it's important to understand what led to the attacks on
- 57:22Speaker 3: nine to eleven. It was US basis in Saudi Arabia.
- 57:26Speaker 3: It was this fanatical belief of the US of the
- 57:29Speaker 3: Great Satan, etc. But a lot of it was also
- 57:31Speaker 3: about Israel and Israeli attacks. So now we've had just
- 57:33Speaker 3: had the situation in Gaza, we've also had now the
- 57:36Speaker 3: assassination of the Ayatola, who was not only the leader
- 57:39Speaker 3: of the country but a literal religious figure inside for
- 57:43Speaker 3: millions of Shia Muslim.
- 57:45Speaker 1: All over the world.
- 57:46Speaker 3: Well, all of this is going to be seen as
- 57:48Speaker 3: a US attack, not only on the religion. So you
- 57:51Speaker 3: could look at it as at a secular level about
- 57:54Speaker 3: attacking this other country under insane pretenses. You could look
- 57:57Speaker 3: at it at a religious level. You could look at the
- 58:00Speaker 3: aren't US support for Israel. You've got these Gulf populations,
- 58:03Speaker 3: They're sitting on ticking time bombs, these monarchies because the
- 58:07Speaker 3: I mean Bahrain I talked about earlier.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Bahrain has a huge Sha population.
- 58:11Speaker 4: Isn't a majority of shit I think?
- 58:12Speaker 3: So now they are literally rioting in the streets where
- 58:16Speaker 3: they are cheering on Iranian drones which are landing in
- 58:20Speaker 3: the middle of Bahrain. You have Saudi Arabia there you go.
- 58:24Speaker 3: So it's like a fifty fit. I knew it was
- 58:25Speaker 3: a decent number, but I wasn't exactly sure. But let's
- 58:28Speaker 3: say in Saudi Arabia they have always had this problem.
- 58:31Speaker 3: The deal with the clerics is you guys, say what
- 58:34Speaker 3: you want.
- 58:34Speaker 1: We get to keep.
- 58:35Speaker 3: All the oil money and live in London. Cool, all right,
- 58:38Speaker 3: I get to have my ferrari. You guys get to
- 58:40Speaker 3: do what you want. Well, the population there is going
- 58:42Speaker 3: to be furious right now, especially not only in terms
- 58:46Speaker 3: of Iran, but if this becomes some sort of massive
- 58:49Speaker 3: alliance with the United States, and especially if they find
- 58:52Speaker 3: themselves fighting on the same side as Israel, They're not
- 58:55Speaker 3: going to like that.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Doha Qatar, same problem. You have this delicate.
- 58:58Speaker 3: Balance of Kuwait as well, you know, with their own population,
- 59:03Speaker 3: Like we may have unleashed a literal same level of
- 59:06Speaker 3: like Arab spring and requestioning of a lot of the
- 59:10Speaker 3: security doctrine that everyone quietly lives with in the Gulf
- 59:13Speaker 3: and just succepts. But right now they're asking big questions,
- 59:16Speaker 3: like we're going to talk later about this clip of
- 59:18Speaker 3: a Saudi on Al Jazeera who's like America has abandoned us.
- 59:21Speaker 3: They're letting us get struck so that they can strike
- 59:23Speaker 3: down Israel. And this is the other problem with constraints
- 59:25Speaker 3: on our military. We literally have to choose, and of
- 59:27Speaker 3: course we're choosing Israel, which we have to do by law.
- 59:30Speaker 4: I mean, think of the UAE.
- 59:31Speaker 2: Okay, somewhere around ninety percent of the population the UAE
- 59:36Speaker 2: are foreign expath it's wealthy foreigners, but it's predominantly actually
- 59:42Speaker 2: the poor laboring class that are brought in and treated
- 59:45Speaker 2: horrifically like indentured servants effectively, And so you know, the
- 59:49Speaker 2: if you if the wealthy, you know, the wealthy foreigners, like,
- 59:53Speaker 2: I'm going to find some other destination for my money
- 59:55Speaker 2: that's not getting bombed.
- 59:56Speaker 1: How about that?
- 59:57Speaker 2: If they leave, then you have an economic collapse. And
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: by the way, the you know, the indentured servant class
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: who are there, you know, driving the taxis and doing
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: the door dash and all that sort of stuff. You
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: think there aren't other places in the world they might
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: prefer to go also that isn't getting bombed. And by
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: the way, if the economy collapses there, there may not
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: be so much work for them there anyway, Like you're
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: talking about a very precarious system here. And you know,
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: again it come back to that photo that I don't
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: know if it's real or not, but I do know
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: the video of the service member who got picked up
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: and the local.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: Kuwaitis are like, ay, he's an American, just leave him.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: We've got video also of the of Bahrainis who are
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: celebrating as they're watching their own country get bombed by
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Iran because it's you know, us assets that are being hit,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Like that's what we're talking about here in the region.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Just like here, the view of the leaders do not
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: necessarily represent the view of the public. And you know,
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: we've had to sort of pressure and control the Europeans
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: to go along with this at all. They're all issuing
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: statements at the top that are like supportive in general,
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: but they're not exactly. They weren't excited about this fight either,
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: and their populations are going to be even more posed
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: to it. And they're the ones who are facing fifty
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: percent spike in LNG prices right now, are like, I
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: guess we're gonna have to buy more from Russia at
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: whatever prices is on off or there So no, I mean,
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: it's it's unbelievable. It is absolutely unbelievable. And these are
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: just like we're in the early days here, guys. We're
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: just seeing the rough edges of what is going to
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: come to pass.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: In Pakistan alone, it wasn't just that one incident at
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: the embassy.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: There have been thirty for this.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: According to drop site, thirty five people killed in Pakistan
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: amid protest over US Israeli attacks on Iran. At least
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: thirty five civilians have been killed across Pakistan after protests
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: erupted denouncing the joint US Israeli strikes on neighboring Iran
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: that also killed Supreme Leader Ayatola Ali comedy, the death
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: toll was sixteen people in Karachi, seven in I'm gonna
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: screw up these names, Gildget six in Scardu, six in Islamabad,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: according to local journalists, and local journalists are claiming that
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: it was not just local police that killed the ones
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: at the protesters at the embassy, that marine security guards
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: were also involved in that. So I don't know whether
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: that's true or not, but that is what's being reported locally.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean exactly, and we're not exactly sure what's happened.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: I looked for the marine stack because it would be
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: insane news. A US marine open fire on a crowd.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: Hasn't been any confirmation. The pakstudies were saying various different
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: things that were out of their mouth, but regardless, it's bad, right,
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: I mean, what you're watching is a heightened alert.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: And think about this too.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: You know how many I don't even want to know
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: the number of American citizens who are stuck in Dubai
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: International Airport or Doha International Airport or Abu Dhabi's airport.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: I mean, you do know how many people fly from
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: here to Asia via the Gulf. Tens of thousands of
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: people probably per day that are moving through the country.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: Just think about that entire choke point where all of
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: these people are now stuck. When I lived in Katar,
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: the number you couldn't even like throw a this was
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: two thousand and eight. You can even throw a brick
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: without hitting another American citizen or somebody from the UK.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Dubai is even more British and American, right. And then
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: even where I was, the expats are everywhere. They're all
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: over Jordan, there are I mean anywhere where there's oil
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: in the UAE. All of these people, their lives I
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: mean they're probably they're gone, right, They're going to be
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: selling their houses in their cars within a year. I
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: don't think any of them are going to keep living there.
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: This has dramatically shifted that the blowback Section two I
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: think is really important just to consider. And look, I
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: wasn't even talking about Iranian sleep. Although again I still
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: think it's weird the circumstances of all this. It's still
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: bad if it's just like a quote unquote lone wolf attack,
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: which you could easily expect as a result of this, right,
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: especially with the population and all these people that we
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: have in the country, we have no idea in some
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: cases who any of these people are. And you've got that,
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: and then you've got the international situation. Every US base
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: is now on a heightened alert. We've got confrontations with Turkey,
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: which is a NATO ally. I mean, there are Americans
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: who live all over the world, and it only takes
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: a single thing. Think back to you know, the al
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: Qaeda days of what all of the various bombings that
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: took place on very different installations. You can't protect everything
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: all the time, and things will crop up, Like nobody
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: thought that the embassy in Kenya was going to get
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: bombed in the nineteen ninety They never even dreamed that
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: such a thing would happen.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: I mean, this guy who showed up at mar A
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: Lago and with like intending to kill Trump, secret Service
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: took him out. Apparently he was discussed. He was a
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: former Trump.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Supporter who was concerned, disgusted about.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: The Epstein files and the economy. So I mean, yeah,
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: when you listen, you have a president who has taken
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: this country into a war that we did not want,
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: right and who is covering up for some things in
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: the Epstein files, and everybody's gotten a glimpse now of how.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: The world really works.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: You don't think that's going to be a radicalizing experience
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: for some people and including you know, in ways that
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: could Obviously this is analysis, not this is a horrifying
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: direction that we're going in, right.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: But you'd be crazy.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: We're a country, you know, full of guns, an untreated
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: mental illness, and you know, being led by a mad
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: king who doesn't care about anything but like his ego
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: and his money and his corrupt regime. It's a it
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: is a recipe for disaster on every single level. And
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: the fact that we're already starting to see. You know
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: that that blowback is is unbelievable. You can't control the
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: whole world with the barrel of a gun. You know,
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: you just can't do it. It's not gonna work. So as
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: much as he thinks he can just throw his weight
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: around the world and he's got the biggest guns and
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: might makes right, et cetera, like the people of the
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: of the world are going to have their say as well,
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: and effectively the only ones that support it are like
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: a small Iranian diaspora mostly here and and the Israelis
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: like that's that's pretty much it. The rest of like,
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: the citizens of the entire world are like, what the
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: fuck is wrong with you right now?
