- 0:27and prompt widespread attention. Its discovery
- 0:31led to the creation of dedicated computer security
- 0:34practices and the birth of a community focused
- 0:37on protecting networks and raising awareness
- 0:40about digital resilience. So now you know. And

- 2:42Sunny mornings send you. In local news, the owner
- 2:47of TD Garden is suing a cannabis dispensary called
- 2:51the Boston Garden for allegedly copying their
- 2:54distinctive and famous trademark, particularly
- 2:58the name of Boston's former arena. Delaware North,
- 3:02operated by the billionaire Jacobs family, filed
- 3:05a federal lawsuit in court in Boston last month,
- 3:08claiming trademark infringement and dilution.
- 3:11The complaint argues that the dispensary's name
- 3:14is likely to deceive the public, suggesting confusion
- 3:17regarding source and affiliation. Co -founders
- 3:21Jonathan Tucker and Ivelys Rivera insist they
- 3:24followed all legal processes when establishing
- 3:27their brand, which has expanded since its 2021
- 3:30opening in Athol. Rivera noted that their brand
- 3:33has never been associated with sports events.
- 3:41Now on to sports. In college basketball, H .E.
- 3:46DiGhanza put on a historic show in the Big 12
- 3:50tournament. The BYU freshmen scored 40 points
- 3:53against Kansas State last night, setting a new
- 3:56Big 12 tournament record for freshmen and surpassing
- 4:00Kevin Durant's mark of 37. Dybanza shot 15 of
- 4:0521 from the field with nine rebounds and six
- 4:08assists in a 105 to 91 win. He faces West Virginia
- 4:14today in the second round. Meanwhile, 15th seeded
- 4:18Pitt pulled off an upset in the ACC tournament
- 4:21with DeMarco Minor hitting the game winner with
- 4:250 .7 seconds left for a 64 to 63 victory over
- 4:30Stanford. The Panthers dominated the boards with
- 4:33a 20 -7 advantage on offensive rebounds. Switching
- 4:38to the diamond, Italy stunned Team USA 8 -6 in
- 4:43world baseball classic pool play. The Italians
- 4:47took an 8 -0 lead before the Americans mounted
- 4:50a late comeback that fell short. Italy improves
- 4:54to 3 -0 while the USA finishes pool play at 3
- 4:59-1. In local sports, the Bruins extended their
- 5:04home dominance to 13 straight with a 2 -1 overtime
- 5:08win over the Kings last night. Charlie McEvoy
- 5:12scored just 39 seconds into OT on a feed from
- 5:16Mark Kastelic, while Mason Laurie broke the scoreless
- 5:20tie in the third. Jeremy Swamen was sharp with
- 5:2414 saves. The San Jose Sharks come to town Thursday
- 5:29at 7 p .m. Meanwhile, the Celtics got a rough
- 5:33lesson from San Antonio, falling 125 -116 in
- 5:39a contentious matchup down south. Derek White
- 5:43led Boston with 34 points, but it was not enough
- 5:47against Victor Wembenyama's dominant 39 -point,
- 5:5111 -rebound performance. Jason Tatum added 24
- 5:55in his third game back from his Achilles injury.
- 5:58though Jalen Brown was ejected in the first half
- 6:01after an argument with officials. Oklahoma City
- 6:05awaits tomorrow night at 930. On the Patriots'
- 6:09front, the offseason is picking up steam. Romeo
- 6:13Dubs signed a four -year deal worth up to $80
- 6:16million, giving Drake May a legitimate top target.
- 6:20Drummond Jones and Alicia Vera Tucker also joined,
- 6:24bolstering both the weapons and protection around
- 6:27the franchise quarterback. In top news, gold
- 6:33investments have been rewarding for many investors,
- 6:36especially those who bought over a year ago.
- 6:39Gold's price rose from about $2 ,600 per ounce.
- 6:44Early last year, to over $5 ,500 per ounce in
- 6:49early 2026. Investors are increasingly buying
- 6:53gold to protect against stock market volatility.
- 6:57The federal government taxes gold as a collectible,
- 7:00leading to higher long -term capital gains rates.
- 7:03However, a strategy known as the IRS loophole
- 7:07allows investors to hold physical gold in a self
- 7:10-directed gold individual retirement account.
- 7:13This offers tax advantages similar to traditional
- 7:16retirement accounts. Investors can benefit from
- 7:20tax -deferred growth or tax -free growth depending
- 7:23on the type of account. In business news, surging
- 7:28oil prices are upending the stock market, and
- 7:31the travel industry is being hit particularly
- 7:34hard. Norwegian Cruise Line and Carnival have
- 7:38both fallen close to 20 % since the conflict
- 7:41began. making them the two worst performers in
- 7:44the S &P 500. Southwest Airlines is down 16%,
- 7:50while United Airlines has dropped 13%. As oil
- 7:55prices surged above $100 a barrel, airlines and
- 7:59cruise operators were around 3 -4 % lower in
- 8:02pre -market trading. However, it is still possible
- 8:05for the energy spike to become a short -term
- 8:08headwind for the travel sector. In crypto movement,
- 8:13Bitcoin is up 2 % to $70 ,000. Ethereum is up
- 8:181 .5 % to $2 ,000. And XRP is up 1 .5 % to $1
- 8:25.39. Moving on to a more local vibe. In our community

- 9:13back to the show. Let's talk tech. AI agents
- 9:19are becoming more prevalent, yet they remain
- 9:21unpredictable. Recently, an AI agent named Roam,
- 9:26part of a research project by a lab linked to
- 9:29Alibaba, unexpectedly began mining cryptocurrency.
- 9:33Researchers discovered this unusual activity
- 9:36through severe security alerts indicating attempts
- 9:40to access internal resources. They described
- 9:43the AI's actions as unsafe behaviors arising
- 9:47without explicit instruction. Fortunately, the
- 9:50researchers intervened before any real -world
- 9:53damage occurred. This incident highlights the
- 9:56potential risks associated with AI agents in
- 9:59the corporate world. As their popularity grows,
- 10:03so does the need for stricter guidelines. And
- 10:08in entertainment news, War Machine, a new sci
- 10:13-fi action film starring Alan Richson, was the
- 10:16most watched title on Netflix during the week
- 10:18of March 2nd to March 8th, debuting with 39 .3
- 10:23million views in three days. Season 4 of Bridgerton
- 10:27was the second most watched title overall. and
- 10:30the most watched on the television chart, hitting
- 10:3313 .1 million views in the first full week of
- 10:37availability for part two. The season debuted
- 10:40at number one with four episodes in January,
- 10:44then returned to number one with 28 million views
- 10:47last week with the release of its final four
- 10:50episodes. Well, all righty, folks, it's time
- 10:54for the quote of the day. And today... Our quote
- 10:58comes from the American computer scientist and
- 11:01internet pioneer, Vint Cerf. And he said, the
- 11:06internet is a reflection of our society and that
- 11:08mirror is going to be reflecting what we see.
- 11:13And that's a wrap for this morning. You can check
- 11:16out our Instagram, YouTube and TikTok for some
- 11:20captivating aerial videos with local news and
- 11:23the weather reports. Have an amazing day, my
