- 0:05Speaker 1: Hello, my love. It is La La Kent. Welcome back
- 0:08Speaker 1: to the Give Them Laala Podcast. Happy New Year. We're
- 0:11Speaker 1: officially in twenty twenty five.
- 0:15Speaker 2: I feel really great about it.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Today is my first day back at work and I've
- 0:21Speaker 1: been off the grid. I was not really on social
- 0:25Speaker 1: media over the holiday. I just really took the time
- 0:29Speaker 1: to be present. I've been implementing all of these changes
- 0:33Speaker 1: that I've wanted to make, and I have actively been
- 0:36Speaker 1: telling my mind the moment that I want to act
- 0:39Speaker 1: the way I did in twenty twenty four, that we're
- 0:41Speaker 1: not doing that. We get then and we're back at it,
- 0:45Speaker 1: and I truly believe that twenty twenty five is not
- 0:49Speaker 1: ready for how hard I am about to fuck her.
- 0:54Speaker 3: She needs it from you.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I feel like she does too. Hello Jenna Willis.
- 0:58Speaker 4: Hello, it's good to have you.
- 1:00Speaker 3: That's nice to be here.
- 1:01Speaker 1: We've got Jenna Willis on the podcast today. She'll be
- 1:04Speaker 1: on the bonus as well. You guys know her from
- 1:08Speaker 1: just being in the group of friends for years. I've
- 1:11Speaker 1: been friends with you for what ten eleven, twelve years?
- 1:14Speaker 3: Crazy?
- 1:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's wild, and she is not only one of
- 1:18Speaker 1: my nearest and dearest friends, but she is my personal trainer,
- 1:23Speaker 1: and she has been training me for a very long time.
- 1:25Speaker 1: We yesterday, I know, Well, I said that I was
- 1:31Speaker 1: going to try to start like we all do. I'm
- 1:33Speaker 1: going to start working out again this year because I
- 1:37Speaker 1: wasn't able to work out throughout the entire pregnancy with Sosa.
- 1:41Speaker 2: And you and I officially have a schedule.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought you was did you? Guys?
- 1:45Speaker 3: She said, baby, come back.
- 1:47Speaker 2: We start tomorrow.
- 1:49Speaker 1: What we do? Are you ready? I love it.
- 1:52Speaker 5: I told you I wanted to be a part of this,
- 1:55Speaker 5: and then you're going and doing scheduling without me.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Well, I'll talk to Jenna tomorrow. Your my gosh, I know.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I'm very excited Roger on.
- 2:03Speaker 5: The pod because you would have shown up and I
- 2:05Speaker 5: wouldn't have I would have been asleep, see, leaving me
- 2:08Speaker 5: out of the loop.
- 2:10Speaker 1: We're waking up and we're rocking it, and I then
- 2:13Speaker 1: not freaking weight. So a couple of things happened over
- 2:17Speaker 1: the weekend. First of all, I would be doing everyone
- 2:21Speaker 1: a giant disservice if I did not say that. The
- 2:23Speaker 1: la Rams have made it into the playoffs. Congratulations, we
- 2:27Speaker 1: know John producer.
- 2:28Speaker 6: John so fucking high. The Chargers are in it too,
- 2:32Speaker 6: but we don't care about them. They're the clippers of
- 2:34Speaker 6: of what's called La football stuttering because I'm so fucking
- 2:37Speaker 6: hypey JR.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Rammant bolt up, whatever you prefer, I don't care. I'm
- 2:45Speaker 1: just very excited to live in a state where the
- 2:47Speaker 1: sports teams are actually.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Decent enough to make it to the playoffs post season.
- 2:52Speaker 4: That's what we look.
- 2:53Speaker 1: So they'll be playing on Monday against the Minnesota Vikings. Also,
- 3:01Speaker 1: over the weekend, we had the Golden Globes.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Did anyone watch?
- 3:05Speaker 3: No, but I watched the recaps, did you Yeah?
- 3:09Speaker 4: So?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Nicki Glazer is one of my most favorite comedians and
- 3:15Speaker 1: people were sleeping on her until she did the Tom
- 3:18Speaker 1: Brady roast.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Did you watch that, Jenna?
- 3:20Speaker 3: I didn't.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Don't worry about it. Her part is it's like, it's
- 3:24Speaker 1: very long, okay, and some of it was just not funny,
- 3:28Speaker 1: but Nicki Glazer made it iconic okay. And after that
- 3:32Speaker 1: her career was just like revived and revamped. And this
- 3:36Speaker 1: year she hosted the Golden Globes as we all know
- 3:38Speaker 1: Joe Coy, which I didn't watch last year. I'm not
- 3:42Speaker 1: going to sit here and pretend like I'm into Award shows.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I usually don't watch. I'm a googler, Google Google it is. Yeah,
- 3:49Speaker 1: and I just heard that Joe Cooy completely bombed like
- 3:52Speaker 1: it was horrendous. I could not tell you why. I'm
- 3:55Speaker 1: sure you guys know why, but I guess it just
- 3:57Speaker 1: wasn't funny. So I know it's.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Almost like he almost got canceled.
- 4:02Speaker 1: He certainly did. I do remember that. Yeah, I haven't
- 4:06Speaker 1: said here first no, no, no years late to the
- 4:10Speaker 1: party usually no, but we're not years late to the party.
- 4:13Speaker 1: We're bringing this up because Nicki Glazer really her opening monologue.
- 4:18Speaker 1: If you are like me and you don't watch award shows,
- 4:21Speaker 1: it is worth googling or youtubing her opening monologue. It
- 4:26Speaker 1: was absolutely hysterical. She called it Ozepic's biggest night. That
- 4:30Speaker 1: was hilarious.
- 4:31Speaker 4: She's on the stage for the night, is what she did.
- 4:34Speaker 1: She truly, truly did. And in her opening monologue, I
- 4:38Speaker 1: was shocked because she did talk directly to Timothy Shallomeh
- 4:44Speaker 1: who's dating Bill was really great? Who's dating Kylie Jenner?
- 4:47Speaker 1: Did you know this?
- 4:48Speaker 4: Yes?
- 4:48Speaker 1: This, I know Jenna lives under a rock more than
- 4:51Speaker 1: I do. Yes, and didn't acknowledge Kylie Jenner's presence. I
- 4:54Speaker 1: was and she looked beautiful. Nicki Glazer and Kylie Jenner,
- 4:57Speaker 1: they both looked fantastic. But she even poked fun at
- 5:01Speaker 1: like her career not being great until the roast, and
- 5:07Speaker 1: how she was so grateful for this opportunity. She's like,
- 5:10Speaker 1: I'm in a room full of the biggest stars, the
- 5:13Speaker 1: most powerful people. They could literally do anything except get
- 5:18Speaker 1: the country to vote for somebody else. But it's fine.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I'll do better next year if there is one. Like
- 5:25Speaker 1: she was really really funny, that's amazing. She brought up Diddy,
- 5:28Speaker 1: how the after party is not going to be as good.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Stanley too Well.
- 5:35Speaker 1: She was like Stanley Tucci's freak off just doesn't have
- 5:40Speaker 1: the same ring to it, and she goes, there won't
- 5:42Speaker 1: be baby oil, but a lot of olive oil.
- 5:46Speaker 2: She was really funny. I highly recommend looking it up.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I like how she went in she did.
- 5:51Speaker 4: You know no?
- 5:52Speaker 5: It was really yeah, fair jokes and well played.
- 5:56Speaker 4: I agree with her. Timing was great.
- 5:58Speaker 5: That's the other thing that people don't understand is like
- 6:01Speaker 5: the timing of everything that she did was perfect.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Comedic timing is everything literally, and the tone you have
- 6:08Speaker 1: to conquer all of it has to be funny. The
- 6:11Speaker 1: tone and the comedic timing is is like nothing else.
- 6:15Speaker 1: And to be honest, there's places in LA that you
- 6:18Speaker 1: can go to teach you these things, like I think
- 6:21Speaker 1: it's groundling.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Yeah, oh, there's a ton you can't teach comedy.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I don't think you need to see born with groundlings.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I mean there's definitely techniques that.
- 6:28Speaker 4: You can you can use, but a feeling that like.
- 6:30Speaker 7: Inherently I feel like you're either kind of naturally funny
- 6:33Speaker 7: or you just don't got it.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Yeah, right, you know what I mean.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Well, I think that's why it's so hard to get
- 6:38Speaker 1: into some of these schools is they're very small classes,
- 6:41Speaker 1: and I think you actually have to go in and
- 6:43Speaker 1: audition the teachers or professors or whatever you call them.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Oh you don't, you just sign up?
- 6:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:49Speaker 7: So there's different levels and there's entry levels, and then
- 6:53Speaker 7: you have to pass the course to get.
- 6:54Speaker 3: To the next, the next, the next.
- 6:56Speaker 4: If you fail, can you just keep retrying?
- 6:58Speaker 1: Uh? Yeah, technically can Easton? They don't say get back
- 7:01Speaker 1: on the horse for nothing. If it was impossible to
- 7:04Speaker 1: do that, they wouldn't use that phrase exactly.
- 7:07Speaker 4: I just give up very easily.
- 7:09Speaker 2: That makes me sad for you.
- 7:12Speaker 4: If I won't reach for the chair.
- 7:17Speaker 1: No. I appreciate your honesty though and self awareness.
- 7:21Speaker 4: But those are what you need in life.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Everything's very very true. I looked up the looks of
- 7:26Speaker 1: the evening. It was very much like old school Hollywood,
- 7:30Speaker 1: very little edge.
- 7:31Speaker 4: It's the only one thing I have to bring up
- 7:33Speaker 4: because I'll forget.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, bring it up.
- 7:35Speaker 4: That was the room that we went to for.
- 7:38Speaker 2: The brunch Shapiro Foundation.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Yes, oh, yes, there too is now Okay.
- 7:44Speaker 5: I was looking in that room and it looks so
- 7:46Speaker 5: huge and grand, and it is, but it looks so
- 7:49Speaker 5: much bigger on TV.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Let me tell you, guys, something, between the things that
- 7:55Speaker 1: I have attended, whether it was with my ex someone else,
- 8:00Speaker 1: things that I've done on my own with vander Pump
- 8:02Speaker 1: Rules or NBCU, everything is such an illusion. Like you
- 8:09Speaker 1: watch the Red Carpet on TV. Let me tell you something.
- 8:14Speaker 1: You drive down Hollywood Boulevard while they're setting that shut up,
- 8:18Speaker 1: that ship, that shut I've also stopped cussing that shut up.
- 8:23Speaker 1: It is like so trashy.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Oh it's a disaster.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Yeah, So I do want it to be known that
- 8:31Speaker 1: you watch these things that are like the biggest stars
- 8:35Speaker 1: in Hollywood will enter the stage in this gorgeous ballroom and.
- 8:40Speaker 2: You're like, oh my god, I want to be there.
- 8:43Speaker 1: As you're watching on TV and you're you're a child
- 8:45Speaker 1: and you're watching and you're like, oh, I just want
- 8:47Speaker 1: to be a star.
- 8:48Speaker 2: You get there, you're like, this is.
- 8:49Speaker 4: It what.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Everyone looks like?
- 8:54Speaker 1: They want to go home? You know what?
- 8:55Speaker 7: The perfect example is what Instagram versus reality one wonder
- 8:59Speaker 7: person is just if you're wondering, that's exactly because.
- 9:02Speaker 5: My other favorite thing is like that's how they'd always
- 9:04Speaker 5: just walk through, like on the very when they're going
- 9:07Speaker 5: to commercial, they have like cameras and it was like
- 9:09Speaker 5: four screens of just people. Every time somebody realized, they'd
- 9:13Speaker 5: put their hand on their face. In turn, no one
- 9:16Speaker 5: wanted to be there a look.
- 9:16Speaker 1: That's what I love about actual Hollywood is the moment
- 9:22Speaker 1: that like the the MC like mentions their name, they're like,
- 9:26Speaker 1: we have Glenn Close or whoever the fuck, and they're like, fuck,
- 9:31Speaker 1: don't call me out, Like I just want to act.
- 9:33Speaker 4: I don't thought I was coming.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'm happy I made it, But I just like the
- 9:38Speaker 1: art and apparently this comes with it.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Agree with that though.
- 9:42Speaker 1: When you're you're in, you use you are, but you
- 9:46Speaker 1: used to be before becoming a trainer. Yeah, which is
- 9:50Speaker 1: your calling.
- 9:51Speaker 2: By the way, thanks babe.
- 9:53Speaker 3: You were balls deep in it. Yeah, balls deep baby.
- 9:57Speaker 1: How do you feel about it now?
- 10:00Speaker 3: I think it's one of those things and I think
- 10:03Speaker 3: you can relate.
- 10:04Speaker 7: To this if you're a performer, you're a performer, and
- 10:09Speaker 7: if you love the craft, it's always a part of you.
- 10:14Speaker 7: And I don't think that ever goes away. And even
- 10:16Speaker 7: now with the fitness stuff right, doing Pop Sugar, Fabletics,
- 10:21Speaker 7: the tone it up stuff right, all of that, I
- 10:23Speaker 7: get to be on camera, so I still get to
- 10:26Speaker 7: use the performative aspect. But now with the expertise of training.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I love that.
- 10:32Speaker 7: So I feel like that's the gift and like it
- 10:33Speaker 7: all was like that ah, like the Little Mermaid ah
- 10:37Speaker 7: ye for that moment. It was that moment of like,
- 10:44Speaker 7: oh this this all makes sense.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Now we have the best of both worlds. Yeah, versus
- 10:48Speaker 1: working in my favor, Yes, totally. So I still get
- 10:51Speaker 1: to do what I love, just honed in a different way.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah, because it is grueling.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I mean when when I think back to auditioning, it
- 10:58Speaker 1: was like, you have an AUDI, then you have a callback,
- 11:01Speaker 1: then you have another callback, but then they're a little unsure,
- 11:04Speaker 1: so that you're going to have another callback.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Then you have to do one.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Where it's you and the producer whoever, and you're up
- 11:11Speaker 1: against three other girls. Now we're going to do a
- 11:13Speaker 1: screen test between you and one other girl. But now
- 11:15Speaker 1: we're still even more unsure, so we're going to bring
- 11:17Speaker 1: another It's just like, oh my God, like me or not,
- 11:21Speaker 1: I'm done.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I'm pulling me around.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Why, Yes, it is.
- 11:24Speaker 7: It's a grueling industry.
- 11:27Speaker 3: And it goes back to what you just said.
- 11:29Speaker 7: There's a lot of shit behind the veil that people
- 11:34Speaker 7: don't see, and people think it's all glitz and glam,
- 11:36Speaker 7: and you could be a working actor and still not
- 11:39Speaker 7: be able to pay your bills.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, you know.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Well, I know a couple of people and that's the thing.
- 11:45Speaker 5: They keep getting callbacks and things like that, and I
- 11:47Speaker 5: feel like that's what really kills you in the industry.
- 11:50Speaker 5: If I were to go into an audition and they
- 11:53Speaker 5: were like, yeah, you're good, I'd be like all right,
- 11:54Speaker 5: and I'd go to another I would never give up,
- 11:56Speaker 5: but when they are starting to pull you in so
- 11:58Speaker 5: many ways and then you don't get it, like, was
- 12:00Speaker 5: it personally me totally?
- 12:02Speaker 4: You know?
- 12:03Speaker 3: Well, I have a funny story.
- 12:04Speaker 7: I had a girlfriend who called me once, who was
- 12:07Speaker 7: going through a series of interviews and job interviews and
- 12:10Speaker 7: trying to get a job. And she called me and
- 12:12Speaker 7: she was like, I don't want you to take this personally,
- 12:18Speaker 7: but how do you handle so much rejection?
- 12:24Speaker 4: Let me tell you.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Thank you. She's like, You've just handled it so gracefully
- 12:29Speaker 1: and so well for so many years. I was like,
- 12:33Speaker 1: are you complimenting me on my strength or are you
- 12:37Speaker 1: to acknowledge the fact that I don't book shit but
- 12:40Speaker 1: you did book a lot of shit I did. Look
- 12:43Speaker 1: the people versus OJ was a that was massive. I mean, yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 1: I was very fortunate to work and be on probably
- 12:50Speaker 1: fifteen different TV shows, right, but you know, there was
- 12:54Speaker 1: a lot of rejection in between those fifteen. There's fifty
- 12:59Speaker 1: that you know, you don't hear jack shit from right,
- 13:02Speaker 1: And although the entertainment industry is a completely different world
- 13:07Speaker 1: and it's a different level of rejection, because it does
- 13:11Speaker 1: feel so personal. That's kind of how life works. And
- 13:16Speaker 1: that's why I always preach like, you have to be
- 13:19Speaker 1: in love with yourself, and that's not an ego thing.
- 13:23Speaker 1: That's not like you can be a humble person still
- 13:26Speaker 1: be in love with yourself, because when you enter the
- 13:28Speaker 1: outside world, especially in the industry that you and I
- 13:32Speaker 1: were once in pretty heavily like that was the end all,
- 13:35Speaker 1: be all goal, it can break you. And you do
- 13:40Speaker 1: start looking at yourself when you're like, well, maybe if
- 13:42Speaker 1: my eyebrows were like this, or maybe it's my nose,
- 13:44Speaker 1: maybe it's my personality, maybe I'm just not a good actress,
- 13:47Speaker 1: and you go down a rabbit hole of all of
- 13:49Speaker 1: the things that could be wrong with you, when truthfully,
- 13:54Speaker 1: it's really none of those things. It's just someone else
- 13:58Speaker 1: fit that role by and there's no rhyme or reason
- 14:02Speaker 1: to it. It's just what they saw and for the
- 14:05Speaker 1: most part, anytime they chose someone else, I watched the
- 14:07Speaker 1: show and I was like, this fucking sucks.
- 14:11Speaker 7: But also, what a great metaphor for any job interview
- 14:14Speaker 7: that you wrote. Yes, it's not just the industry. Most
- 14:18Speaker 7: of the time, it isn't even about you. It's about
- 14:20Speaker 7: what they're looking for.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, and That's why I always and I
- 14:26Speaker 1: say that it could just be my way of making
- 14:28Speaker 1: myself feel better about the path that I'm on. But
- 14:31Speaker 1: I say the universe will place you exactly where you're
- 14:34Speaker 1: supposed to be if you believe in it. Yeah, and
- 14:36Speaker 1: there will be a day where it makes sense. And
- 14:38Speaker 1: I think you're living proof of that because what you
- 14:42Speaker 1: do for a living is personal training, but you do
- 14:45Speaker 1: so much more than that. You get people's mental health
- 14:48Speaker 1: on point, but you also have made it so you
- 14:51Speaker 1: can be in front of a camera where you do
- 14:55Speaker 1: have to somewhat take on a different role.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I love it.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I know about it. Telling me can't squat, ain't nobody
- 15:02Speaker 1: telling me I can't squat. I love it. The last
- 15:07Speaker 1: thing I'm going to say about the Golden Globes is
- 15:09Speaker 1: I looked up the looks. It was very old Hollywood.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I was very into it. I can't say that I
- 15:14Speaker 1: had a well, I do have a favorite look.
- 15:17Speaker 2: That's not old school Hollywood by any means.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Everyone looked absolutely beautiful, a lot of gloves, which I
- 15:23Speaker 1: love a good glove.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Did you watch True Detective Night Country?
- 15:28Speaker 1: No?
- 15:28Speaker 3: I didn't, but I heard it. I heard it was
- 15:31Speaker 3: really good.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Okay, finish it.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I finished it, damn you Now. I looked it up
- 15:35Speaker 1: because when it finished, I was like, I looked at
- 15:37Speaker 1: my mom and I was like, that was really bad.
- 15:40Speaker 1: So then I look it up and the reviews everyone's
- 15:44Speaker 1: wraving about it, and everyone's talking about the director's perspective,
- 15:48Speaker 1: and I was like, Oh, it's not that it was bad,
- 15:50Speaker 1: It's that I'm dumb.
- 15:53Speaker 4: If I feel like a movie's bad, I always go
- 15:56Speaker 4: what did I not get? What did I not?
- 15:58Speaker 1: What did I not?
- 15:59Speaker 4: What am I missing in this?
- 16:01Speaker 1: Well? I was missing a lot. And then I was like,
- 16:02Speaker 1: if if I go down all the rabbit holes of
- 16:06Speaker 1: what people are talking about and like the director's motivation,
- 16:11Speaker 1: I'm going to be down a lot of rabbit holes
- 16:12Speaker 1: and I could learn a lot.
- 16:13Speaker 2: But I'm retired, so I'm going to bed.
- 16:15Speaker 7: There's a lot that I want to see now that
- 16:18Speaker 7: I haven't yet. Based on the Golden Globe, same there's
- 16:20Speaker 7: a showgun brutalist.
- 16:22Speaker 3: I was like, where are these showguns?
- 16:24Speaker 4: Good?
- 16:25Speaker 1: I did start that and it was really has one accident,
- 16:30Speaker 1: literally going off about that last night. So I started
- 16:32Speaker 1: back from season one on Hacks. But the girl Kaylee Reese,
- 16:39Speaker 1: who plays one of the detectives on True Detective Night Country.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Her look was by far my favorite.
- 16:45Speaker 4: It was I liked her speech a lot too, and
- 16:47Speaker 4: it was absolute. Oh not her what's her name? The
- 16:52Speaker 4: about the other cop?
- 16:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I Jodie Foster.
- 16:58Speaker 4: I loved one in. Her speech was great. Sorry, she was.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Great in it.
- 17:02Speaker 3: But she did play opposite Kaylee Reese.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So you're in the same in the same, the same show.
- 17:06Speaker 5: About that, I was like, because she they gave you,
- 17:09Speaker 5: they hugged when she won.
- 17:12Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 17:12Speaker 4: Yeah, that she is very attractive.
- 17:16Speaker 2: She's she's like, she's a fighter.
- 17:19Speaker 1: That is Kaylee Reese. She will fuck you up.
- 17:22Speaker 4: I could tell when in the copy uniform. Yeah.
- 17:25Speaker 1: No, she's a badass. So moving on from the Golden Globe,
- 17:34Speaker 1: I went to o Hi after we got back from
- 17:37Speaker 1: uh Hawaii, and I took Ocean to a Santa brunch
- 17:42Speaker 1: with a few kids in her school and their parents.
- 17:45Speaker 1: And I have to be honest, my child was a
- 17:49Speaker 1: nightmare while we were there, Like I was in tears.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Most she's she's three and a half.
- 17:57Speaker 1: She's almost four, and a lot of it is that
- 18:00Speaker 1: this is how she came right, like she was born
- 18:04Speaker 1: into the world. She's double Pisc's sun and rising, and
- 18:07Speaker 1: I believe that she just knows what she wants, she
- 18:09Speaker 1: knows who she is, and there's gonna be no conflict.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Like I always say, my Virgo and Scorpio are constantly battling,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and it's a giant conflict with Ocean because she came
- 18:21Speaker 1: into the world and then her rising is exactly what
- 18:24Speaker 1: she portrays to the world.
- 18:26Speaker 2: There's no battle.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Wow.
- 18:28Speaker 2: So she's strong.
- 18:30Speaker 1: But my job is to kind of is to incubate
- 18:34Speaker 1: who she is, but also kind of smooth out instead
- 18:39Speaker 1: of the edges being sharp, make them a nice like
- 18:42Speaker 1: round almond shape, right, rather than a butcher knife shape.
- 18:49Speaker 1: But that's really hard when she is split between households,
- 18:54Speaker 1: and I've been trying to kind of keep consistency. And
- 18:59Speaker 1: I'm a so I like routine and I like to
- 19:04Speaker 1: make things consistent. That's kind of where I fit best,
- 19:07Speaker 1: and it's good for Ocean as well. So there were
- 19:10Speaker 1: a few times where she did not act right and
- 19:14Speaker 1: she lost her privilege to go and do certain things
- 19:18Speaker 1: and it was heartbreaking. But I have to stick to
- 19:21Speaker 1: my guns because she has to see the consequence. So
- 19:24Speaker 1: I hear that Shena and Brock have invited two couples
- 19:29Speaker 1: to their room to play games, and the kids are
- 19:30Speaker 1: going to play in the room, and I said, you know,
- 19:33Speaker 1: I think I'm going to come down Ocean. I got
- 19:36Speaker 1: to put her to bed. She's tapped out. She's a
- 19:39Speaker 1: monster right now. And I was beat right because I'm
- 19:42Speaker 1: also taking care of my infant. So I go down
- 19:45Speaker 1: and they're playing a game and it's really cute, and
- 19:47Speaker 1: then they're all talking about and I'm already emotional about
- 19:50Speaker 1: Ocean right and they're talking about how the girls are
- 19:55Speaker 1: going to go out to the bar after and the
- 19:57Speaker 1: boys are going to stay in the room, play games,
- 20:00Speaker 1: have some wine and take care of the kids. And
- 20:03Speaker 1: I don't know what about that completely rocked me. So
- 20:10Speaker 1: Brock and Sheena had seen how Ocean was acting that
- 20:13Speaker 1: day and they saw that like I was spent. And
- 20:16Speaker 1: so I told Brock, you know how I handled it
- 20:19Speaker 1: when I got back to the room, and he gave
- 20:22Speaker 1: me a big hug and said, I know that wasn't
- 20:24Speaker 1: easy for you. And I just lost my mind to
- 20:28Speaker 1: you guys, Like the other two moms were like, oh
- 20:30Speaker 1: my gosh, are you okay? And at the elevator when
- 20:34Speaker 1: I told she and I don't want to go to
- 20:35Speaker 1: the bar. I'm just going to go up to the room.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I said, that's the first time that I've been around
- 20:40Speaker 1: couples who share children, who seemed to be in healthy,
- 20:46Speaker 1: happy relationships, and it hit me that I will never
- 20:49Speaker 1: have that. And I spoke to my mom about this,
- 20:52Speaker 1: because when I went up there, she was like, are
- 20:54Speaker 1: you okay, what's wrong? And she goes, but you will
- 20:56Speaker 1: have that, and I was like, it's fine to say that.
- 20:58Speaker 2: I won't.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I will never be with the father of my children.
- 21:01Speaker 4: But I do want to say back to the Oscars.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yeah, the Golden Globes.
- 21:05Speaker 4: The Golden Globes. Okay, I can't remember his name, but
- 21:08Speaker 4: I do it.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I'll be Addream Brodie.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Yes, okay, that's him.
- 21:13Speaker 5: But he thanked his stepdad okay, and was like, thank
- 21:18Speaker 5: you for being a man and taking on a single
- 21:22Speaker 5: mother with a child, and just ended it on that
- 21:26Speaker 5: and he just said and I pointed up and he
- 21:28Speaker 5: just said, thank you guys. So you will have that,
- 21:31Speaker 5: and that is something you will find a man who
- 21:34Speaker 5: will want you and your children and will not change anything,
- 21:38Speaker 5: and you will have that same thing. Doesn't matter if
- 21:40Speaker 5: it's his kids, Okay, because I would be I don't
- 21:43Speaker 5: I'm at that age. I've talked to my friends. I
- 21:45Speaker 5: may be with a single mother.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Right, because you are reaching that age where a lot
- 21:49Speaker 1: of girls.
- 21:49Speaker 4: I did it.
- 21:50Speaker 5: Yeah, every girl that I now find attractive usually has
- 21:53Speaker 5: a child.
- 21:54Speaker 7: I'm at that age, and I think it's you know,
- 21:56Speaker 7: it's a matter of how deep we want to go here.
- 21:58Speaker 5: But but I would do it, Like, that's a thing
- 22:00Speaker 5: I would take on another child. And she was like,
- 22:03Speaker 5: would you come on this vacation for couples with yeah zones,
- 22:06Speaker 5: I'd go yes, So that is something you will have it.
- 22:09Speaker 4: There are men that will take that on.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 22:11Speaker 7: What were you saying, Jenna, First of all, absolutely to
- 22:14Speaker 7: that that's not even a question. But to deny yourself
- 22:18Speaker 7: the possibility of having that with someone in the future
- 22:22Speaker 7: is only discrediting.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Yourself, like mindset right already.
- 22:27Speaker 7: Having that closed mindset, which is something that we've spoken about. Yeah,
- 22:32Speaker 7: and how you're having this new year, this new perspective,
- 22:35Speaker 7: how it's about to get fucked in the ass by you.
- 22:37Speaker 5: Right, Yes, And you're saying like you dress well and
- 22:40Speaker 5: you play well, right, you're on this new thing, so
- 22:42Speaker 5: think well and results will come to you well.
- 22:45Speaker 7: Right, and maybe don't Why have that mindset of I'll
- 22:50Speaker 7: never have it because you don't know.
- 22:53Speaker 1: That's and you know, my mom was saying this to
- 22:55Speaker 1: me as well, and I and I said to her, like,
- 22:58Speaker 1: just let me say this, like instead of making me
- 23:01Speaker 1: and I love that you guys are making me feel
- 23:03Speaker 1: good in this moment though, I said, stop trying to
- 23:05Speaker 1: make me feel good right now.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Just let me do that and.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Have this moment of like I will never.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Be with the actual father of my children. And I said,
- 23:18Speaker 1: and that's okay. But for some reason right now, it
- 23:22Speaker 1: just it was like I walked into a glass door
- 23:25Speaker 1: when I watched the dynamics of the women who could
- 23:30Speaker 1: go and have wine without having a drinking problem, who
- 23:33Speaker 1: could leave their.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Children with the fathers, is what you're saying.
- 23:38Speaker 1: It was soon, baby, And I knew that one time.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I knew that, I knew that it was a big onion.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I'm like, you have to understand. I want you to
- 23:49Speaker 1: be in my mind right now.
- 23:51Speaker 8: It's a layered I watched children lay in a bed
- 23:55Speaker 8: with their little reindeers and watch a fucking movie while
- 23:59Speaker 8: my child was kicking me yelling that she hated me
- 24:02Speaker 8: as I left the room.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Like, it's very layered.
- 24:05Speaker 1: I know that.
- 24:06Speaker 7: Also, one of my biggest pet peeves is when people
- 24:10Speaker 7: tell you to like stop crying or it's okay, and
- 24:12Speaker 7: I'm like, can I just have my fucking moment here?
- 24:16Speaker 4: Always?
- 24:16Speaker 5: The one thing I found out about women is you
- 24:18Speaker 5: do want the you know, but you want that feeling
- 24:23Speaker 5: to be.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Noticed. Like, yes, we're going to talk you out of that.
- 24:28Speaker 5: But you guys are like, yes, but notice that I
- 24:31Speaker 5: feel like this, And then we're.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Like, okay, you can feel like that. It's okay to
- 24:34Speaker 4: feel like that.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Then you guys are like, okay, yes, how do we
- 24:39Speaker 1: do it Easton?
- 24:39Speaker 2: Okay, that's so true.
- 24:42Speaker 4: It is just validate that one feeling and.
- 24:46Speaker 3: I don't move on and have the moment to process.
- 24:48Speaker 5: We don't want to validate you feeling shitty about yourself,
- 24:51Speaker 5: but until we do, we can't move on.
- 24:53Speaker 1: No, that's exactly what I agree.
- 24:55Speaker 4: So I'll validate you feeling shitty from now on.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but I am sorry, little thing. Yeah, thank you.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Not easy.
- 25:02Speaker 1: We all go through those moments, though of life was
- 25:05Speaker 1: supposed to be a little bit different.
- 25:07Speaker 2: But it's okay.
- 25:09Speaker 1: And so looking back on the o Hi trip though,
- 25:12Speaker 1: like the only reason I remembered this feeling was because
- 25:14Speaker 1: I wrote it in my notes to talk about it
- 25:16Speaker 1: on the podcast. But when I look back to OHI,
- 25:20Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm doing it every year. We had the
- 25:21Speaker 1: best time. Like, I don't remember Ocean acting a damn fool.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I want to have a meltdown every year.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Yea, every year one meltdown that is just like, blow
- 25:33Speaker 1: the windows out of the house, horrendous.
- 25:35Speaker 5: I didn't go my mom and her called me and
- 25:37Speaker 5: they were like, you're not never coming again.
- 25:39Speaker 1: No, let me tell you it was. It was so
- 25:42Speaker 1: bad that I actually picked up the phone and called
- 25:47Speaker 1: my ex crying.
- 25:51Speaker 4: That was a really productive conversation.
- 25:53Speaker 1: And I said, you must tap yourself in wow and
- 25:59Speaker 1: and and from my understanding again, I'm not there. I
- 26:03Speaker 1: can only hold out hope that that's what's gonna happen,
- 26:08Speaker 1: because I did get her back on Christmas Eve, and
- 26:10Speaker 1: she was again a fucking nightmare on Christmas. So but
- 26:14Speaker 1: then I brought I brought her back and she's been
- 26:16Speaker 1: an angel.
- 26:17Speaker 4: An ocean that I've never seen.
- 26:19Speaker 1: She's angel by amazing and now I know the style
- 26:24Speaker 1: of discipline because I'm learning Ocean's only for she's my
- 26:28Speaker 1: first child. And even though I'm learning and I think
- 26:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna know what to do with Sosa, Sosa is
- 26:34Speaker 1: going to be a different child and she's going to
- 26:36Speaker 1: require a different set of parenting skills. So I now
- 26:40Speaker 1: know what Ocean needs. Ocean does not respond well to toughness,
- 26:45Speaker 1: bringing down the hammer, putting my foot down. She responds
- 26:48Speaker 1: well to me telling her I think you need to
- 26:52Speaker 1: take a minute. How you're speaking to me is not
- 26:54Speaker 1: kind and not okay. I want you to go take
- 26:57Speaker 1: a beat, and then I'll go in there. And if
- 26:58Speaker 1: she still wants to acspy, I see, I say, let
- 27:01Speaker 1: me know when you're ready so that I can love
- 27:03Speaker 1: on you and we can talk. And she comes out
- 27:06Speaker 1: and says I'm ready to talk.
- 27:08Speaker 4: She usually comes out very it's more of a.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Kind of KOI yeah, yeah.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry, yes, And then I say what are we
- 27:19Speaker 1: sorry for? And she tells me, and I say thank
- 27:21Speaker 1: you so much, I love you. We're going to do better,
- 27:24Speaker 1: and then we like that's what she required.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 5: No, it's crazy that the discipline of a three and
- 27:29Speaker 5: almost four year old is how you would discipline almost
- 27:33Speaker 5: a six, seven.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Or eight year old.
- 27:35Speaker 7: Well also, by the way, anyone, if you think about it,
- 27:39Speaker 7: no one. No one likes to feel like they're being
- 27:41Speaker 7: punished or they were bad, right, But if they can
- 27:44Speaker 7: understand and you can communicate and say why this is happening, yeah,
- 27:49Speaker 7: people are always more receptive.
- 27:51Speaker 4: Cool.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Think about what you're fighting, and you're just about no One.
- 27:53Speaker 3: You're not listen. I'm not listening to shit you're saying.
- 27:55Speaker 7: When you're no, that's very true. And I'm also screaming
- 27:58Speaker 7: what I'm screaming.
- 27:59Speaker 2: But let me tell you something.
- 28:00Speaker 1: I had friends where their dads would say, give them
- 28:04Speaker 1: the look, knock it off, get your ass to your
- 28:07Speaker 1: fucking room, and after that they they came.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Correct.
- 28:12Speaker 1: If I did that to Ocean, Yeah, you want to
- 28:14Speaker 1: know what would happen? She would scream right back and
- 28:17Speaker 1: me the same words that I said to her. And
- 28:19Speaker 1: then when she's playing with her dolls, I'm saying this
- 28:23Speaker 1: would happen, This did happen. She looks at her dolls
- 28:29Speaker 1: and says, you're in time out, I'm done, and I'm like,
- 28:34Speaker 1: that's what I look like.
- 28:35Speaker 2: She's mimicking me.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Well, literally, she is your child.
- 28:44Speaker 4: What happened? Why is she like this? I'm like, she's you.
- 28:50Speaker 1: If you want to go look in the mirror for
- 28:52Speaker 1: a hot second.
- 28:58Speaker 4: The only person who can fuck up?
- 29:00Speaker 3: Want to do we want to go deep for a
- 29:01Speaker 3: second year. Why is this how you need to be
- 29:04Speaker 3: communicated to?
- 29:07Speaker 4: Wow?
- 29:07Speaker 1: Yeah? Probably yeah, yeah, I know you start yelling at
- 29:16Speaker 1: me and to the occasion. Yeah.
- 29:20Speaker 2: And I don't want to rise, I want to chill.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. Yeah, motion, I've burnt myself out. You know,
- 29:30Speaker 1: it's just a fact. So cut to we get home,
- 29:34Speaker 1: back to La Repack. I've been on the road since
- 29:36Speaker 1: November thirtieth. I'm exhausted. I'm so happy to be home.
- 29:40Speaker 1: We arrive to my house in Palm Springs Christmas and
- 29:44Speaker 1: New Year's and I look outside and I have these
- 29:48Speaker 1: garage doors at the in the back of my house
- 29:50Speaker 1: because we get sandstorms and Palm Springs, so it protects
- 29:53Speaker 1: all the furniture.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Well, there must have been an opening somewhere in the garage.
- 29:57Speaker 4: There must have We there saw them.
- 30:00Speaker 1: There wasn't no we found them. There was. I google
- 30:05Speaker 1: the most common rodents in Palm Springs. Okay, it's rat
- 30:10Speaker 1: shit everywhere, sticks, feathers, they must have killed something pee
- 30:16Speaker 1: and I'm talking about ship everywherewhere. So I google how
- 30:21Speaker 1: to get rid of rat shit and I'm like, I
- 30:24Speaker 1: can't call someone to do this because it's Christmas Eve.
- 30:28Speaker 3: My goodness.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm going to send you the video, John, so you
- 30:31Speaker 1: can post us what we looked like. Okay, you want
- 30:34Speaker 1: some rat traps? No, I don't.
- 30:37Speaker 6: I had a rat issue and I have been the
- 30:39Speaker 6: rat killer this past two weeks at my house.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Okay, I'm going to say thank you because I said.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Rat traps and they were like, no, I.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Don't don't want to kill No, I don't want to
- 30:50Speaker 1: kill it steal. I was like, what is that? So
- 30:56Speaker 1: we get wool steel, which is that it's basically like you.
- 31:00Speaker 4: It looks like a yeah, just make that like thin
- 31:06Speaker 4: thin metal.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Never even heard of that.
- 31:08Speaker 1: They can't chew through it or they don't like to.
- 31:10Speaker 1: So I put that were and we go to home
- 31:16Speaker 1: depot because I looked up how you need to clean
- 31:18Speaker 1: up bradship because you can't just sweep it because the
- 31:20Speaker 1: dust part of it can become toxic. Easton and I
- 31:24Speaker 1: buy hazmat suits, goggles, masks, tons of paper, towels, chlorox lysol,
- 31:32Speaker 1: and we clean out the entire area, every piece of furniture,
- 31:38Speaker 1: sprang everything with like fucking bleach. I felt so accomplished.
- 31:43Speaker 1: I felt like a real homeowner. And I'm sending you
- 31:45Speaker 1: the video, John, because you have to put it with
- 31:48Speaker 1: this video on. It was bad ass.
- 31:51Speaker 3: I'm not kidding. That's like, that's some.
- 31:53Speaker 4: It was fun to do. If it wasn't Christmas Eve.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it was fun. I didn't really care that way.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Christmas Eve, let's do it again. I just kept going,
- 32:01Speaker 1: it becomes back.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Well as we're doing it. Lauren was like, I mean
- 32:07Speaker 4: all of it did need to be cleaned.
- 32:08Speaker 1: I was like, well, no, no, no, it did. The
- 32:10Speaker 1: furniture did need to be it's dusty there, sure, So
- 32:14Speaker 1: I like just blowed off.
- 32:16Speaker 4: She was like it needed to clean, but I was like, well.
- 32:18Speaker 1: We literally eat off the furniture now with how much
- 32:21Speaker 1: fucking chloro lifeol.
- 32:24Speaker 3: You're like, And we did every meal we did.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Christmas Day Ocean was rough, but we had we had
- 32:34Speaker 1: a good time. I look at my mom's phone because
- 32:38Speaker 1: I wanted to google something, and I know what I
- 32:40Speaker 1: wanted to google.
- 32:41Speaker 2: We had been watching Pocahonta.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Can I say something to oh wait, I just envision
- 32:44Speaker 1: breaking bad seeing.
- 32:46Speaker 3: You two in those suits?
- 32:47Speaker 4: What it was?
- 32:48Speaker 3: Literally, yeah, Jesse, Yeah that's all I could think.
- 32:52Speaker 2: That's exactly what we look like.
- 32:53Speaker 1: So dope Ocean is on this Pocahontas and Mulan kick
- 32:58Speaker 1: and she wants the uh the armband tattoo that Pocahonts has.
- 33:01Speaker 2: But I tell Easton as we're watching pocahont.
- 33:04Speaker 4: She tells me, Easton, you have to come and listen
- 33:07Speaker 4: to this song. This song.
- 33:09Speaker 1: I just said, if anyone ever asks you, what is
- 33:11Speaker 1: your your sister's favorite scene in a movie, the most iconic,
- 33:17Speaker 1: and I said, it's this scene. And it's when pocahont
- 33:20Speaker 1: just rolls up on Grandmother Willow and she's like, I've
- 33:22Speaker 1: been having dreams and it's like understand.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I'm like and like and she's like.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Like yes, She's like, what do you see, child?
- 33:40Speaker 2: And she's like clouds, strange clouds.
- 33:42Speaker 4: You want to know what Easton?
- 33:44Speaker 1: It finishes, and I go, isn't it fucking like chills
- 33:48Speaker 1: to your core?
- 33:49Speaker 5: I go, Grandmother Willow is a giant glitterist. You cannot wait.
- 33:54Speaker 1: I need to see this. I need to see image.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Grandmother Willow isn't a vagina.
- 33:59Speaker 1: And she has big old I can never watch.
- 34:02Speaker 4: I saw this.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Grandmother Willow is really isn't there this whole history of like.
- 34:11Speaker 5: Right?
- 34:12Speaker 3: I thought they cut that though. Oh but pocahont is
- 34:16Speaker 3: from that era.
- 34:18Speaker 4: He's a pretty little vagina on Mother.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I need to see this. No, she is a giant clip.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I can never watch the scene.
- 34:28Speaker 3: I don't know if I'm like excited or scarred.
- 34:32Speaker 4: She is Grandmother.
- 34:35Speaker 3: That's on repeat on my TV now.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Grandmother bean instead of Willow. Wow, I know.
- 34:42Speaker 3: And so how did they get away like away with
- 34:45Speaker 3: this for so long?
- 34:46Speaker 1: Well, if you notice a little mermaid when the when
- 34:50Speaker 1: Ursula is getting married to the prince and the bird
- 34:53Speaker 1: is flying, the guy marrying them has a boner.
- 34:57Speaker 5: No, come on, but Ursula is like a giant vagina
- 35:01Speaker 5: like mother Willow is a an.
- 35:04Speaker 4: Actual character that's just a clit in your face who
- 35:08Speaker 4: like talks. Yes, she's a speaking.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Character to the bon dick in a box.
- 35:14Speaker 1: It's a clit in your face, truly, with a with
- 35:19Speaker 1: the voice of God, to be quite honest. So it
- 35:21Speaker 1: does track.
- 35:23Speaker 7: He sends in front of the TV for days.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna sorry, yeah, yeah, I forget you guys are
- 35:32Speaker 1: related sometime. So I I also sat there and was like,
- 35:36Speaker 1: I have to see if anyone on the internet is
- 35:38Speaker 1: talking about this, Like TikTok has to have some sort
- 35:41Speaker 1: of something that talks about all the sexual, phallic.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Looking shit in old school Disney films.
- 35:47Speaker 1: So I asked my mom for because again I've been
- 35:50Speaker 1: off the phone. So I grab Lisa's phone and she's
- 35:54Speaker 1: in her messages and again it's Christmas Day and there
- 35:58Speaker 1: are just line up of every single person that she's
- 36:02Speaker 1: texted Merry Christmas, but it says meet Christopher.
- 36:07Speaker 7: On every wait, so everyone wait, no, meet Christopher.
- 36:14Speaker 1: She didn't double.
- 36:15Speaker 5: Glass, so she spelt it so awful that it didn't
- 36:19Speaker 5: it couldn't even get it back to Merry Christmas, just
- 36:23Speaker 5: meet Christopher.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Two thoughts.
- 36:27Speaker 3: First of all, surprise her new boyfriend.
- 36:32Speaker 7: Did you imagine if by the way she was like,
- 36:36Speaker 7: there's something I need to tell you, she.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Would have ued I don't have it. I didn't have me.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Christopher is not a Merry Christmas.
- 36:43Speaker 1: No, I just learned that grandmother Willow is a clip.
- 36:46Speaker 1: I can't deal with your new boyfriend Also, auto text
- 36:49Speaker 1: auto correct has done me dirty, has done I. I
- 36:54Speaker 1: have literally I went to text my cousin something one night.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I don't even remember what it was. Okay, but it
- 37:00Speaker 1: auto corrected to you.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Guys ready for this?
- 37:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I just.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Banged an Irish man.
- 37:06Speaker 4: But oh, I totally.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Wish that you remember what you were trying to say
- 37:10Speaker 1: to him. I so badly wish And instead of anything crazy,
- 37:14Speaker 1: his response was good for you. He's like not even
- 37:19Speaker 1: shocked that you would text him something like that.
- 37:21Speaker 3: He's like, she needed this.
- 37:24Speaker 2: No, it was her cousin.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Oh that auto auto I mean, at least it was
- 37:27Speaker 1: meet Christopher instead of you know, who knows what else
- 37:30Speaker 1: that could have turned into.
- 37:35Speaker 2: That would have been way worse.
- 37:37Speaker 1: But I pretty iconic, honestly coming from Lisa, because it's
- 37:40Speaker 1: like Lisa's doesn't have her glasses on. Again.
- 37:44Speaker 4: Also, she sent it for just one pair of glasses.
- 37:49Speaker 1: She either she says, I either have to have my
- 37:52Speaker 1: contacts on or two pairs of cheaters. I'm like, your
- 37:54Speaker 1: eyes are so bad. The fact that you're going to
- 37:56Speaker 1: like CBS to get your glasses makes me sad. You
- 37:59Speaker 1: need to go to an optometrist and get a prescription.
- 38:02Speaker 7: By the way us starting us starting workouts. We need
- 38:06Speaker 7: to get Lisa on a healthier kick. Here also needs to.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Be a twenty twenty five resolution.
- 38:11Speaker 1: It's it's for the whole family. Also, what happened in
- 38:16Speaker 1: Palm Springs is I made the exchange with my car.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I officially have the GMC to Nali. It is a
- 38:23Speaker 1: fucking beast. She's gorgeous, but ginormous, and I did cry
- 38:29Speaker 1: when the range.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Left, so we picked it up.
- 38:33Speaker 2: I almost went that day and bought a g watch.
- 38:35Speaker 4: Bring that up.
- 38:37Speaker 5: I'm sorry, I can't tell you. So we pick up
- 38:39Speaker 5: the car. She's following me. I'm driving this big honker.
- 38:42Speaker 5: She's in a Range Rover. We have to now take
- 38:44Speaker 5: the range Rover to get picked up. She's sitting there.
- 38:48Speaker 5: I wanted to take a photo so bad, but I
- 38:50Speaker 5: didn't have a phone, And she looked like a kid
- 38:55Speaker 5: who was watching, like her parents go on vacation and
- 38:59Speaker 5: she had to stay with a like the babysitter.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Okay, so can I ask something?
- 39:04Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 39:05Speaker 7: I think it runs deeper, like I feel like it's
- 39:08Speaker 7: been a part of your identity for a long time, right, Yeah,
- 39:12Speaker 7: but I think it represents something deeper.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Well it does. There's many layers again similar to oh hi, yeah,
- 39:19Speaker 1: this hit many layers as well. Yeah, it was the
- 39:24Speaker 1: fact that number one, when I exited my relationship, that
- 39:28Speaker 1: was the first thing I went out and bought that
- 39:30Speaker 1: was mine, right, that I needed a car, and that's
- 39:34Speaker 1: what I went and got. And I loved her.
- 39:36Speaker 2: She was cute your intendance one percent.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Yeah, So now I have this, this beautiful, beautiful GMC like.
- 39:46Speaker 1: I love her, She's gorgeous. But I was talking to
- 39:49Speaker 1: my mom, and I'm like, for the past however, many
- 39:53Speaker 1: years I have been mom, and I've wanted that.
- 39:57Speaker 2: That's exactly what I've wanted.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I went out and had a baby on my own
- 39:59Speaker 1: because I wanted to be a mom so badly. Now
- 40:03Speaker 1: I'm looking at it and I go, Okay. I never
- 40:06Speaker 1: put makeup on because I'm exhausted. I don't get my
- 40:09Speaker 1: hair bleached because I'm just exhausted. I am always covered
- 40:15Speaker 1: in spit up. If I'm not pumping, i'm breastfeeding. If
- 40:18Speaker 1: I'm not breastfeeding, I'm putting a baby down. If I'm
- 40:21Speaker 1: not putting a baby down, I'm disciplining. If I'm not disciplining,
- 40:24Speaker 1: i'm playing house with my daughter and making her meals.
- 40:28Speaker 1: And now the range Rover is gone because I had
- 40:31Speaker 1: to get a car.
- 40:32Speaker 2: That's conducive to being a mom.
- 40:34Speaker 1: And I'm like, I love being mom, but I need
- 40:37Speaker 1: to be a little bit more than just mom.
- 40:40Speaker 5: Yeah, the identity. You just don't single identity to be
- 40:44Speaker 5: a mom.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I was like, I don't think it's just about
- 40:48Speaker 3: the range Rover. You know, I get it, you know
- 40:50Speaker 3: at therapist, let's stop it. I am a certified life
- 40:53Speaker 3: coach thanks to Jay Shetty.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Hey, that's a big fucking deal. Jay Shetty's huge.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Yeah, he's he's a homie.
- 41:00Speaker 1: I love that.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I got certified under him. I am.
- 41:05Speaker 1: I know.
- 41:05Speaker 3: I don't talk about it a lot.
- 41:07Speaker 1: We will talk about this on the bonus. That's correctly
- 41:10Speaker 1: everything that Jenna does because you get you do know,
- 41:13Speaker 1: when when someone's talking you, you automatically go this is
- 41:16Speaker 1: much deeper. And you would think that that's an easy thing,
- 41:18Speaker 1: but it's actually not a lot of people think that
- 41:20Speaker 1: what someone is arguing about or talking about that it
- 41:25Speaker 1: is well just about that. This is the thing.
- 41:27Speaker 3: And if it's okay to call you out for a second,
- 41:30Speaker 3: the truth the k.
- 41:34Speaker 7: So, look, you like your handbags, you like your nice shoes, right,
- 41:37Speaker 7: but you're not the most materialistic person in the world.
- 41:41Speaker 3: You're just not. No, I wouldn't say that, I am right,
- 41:43Speaker 3: So I.
- 41:44Speaker 7: Know it's not just about having a range drover for you, right,
- 41:47Speaker 7: It's deeper than that.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Yes, No, it definitely is.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Yeah, speaking of handbags, this is a little bit old news,
- 41:55Speaker 1: but I'm sure you've heard about it. No, we would
- 41:58Speaker 1: have spoken about it, but we had to record because
- 42:00Speaker 1: we've been gone for a month.
- 42:01Speaker 4: That is also true.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Walmart just launched their version of a Burkein bag. What yes, see.
- 42:08Speaker 3: I don't even know.
- 42:09Speaker 1: And it actually stop is very very it's great.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Have you gotten any yet?
- 42:16Speaker 4: So they sold out? No, they were only eighty bucks. Okay,
- 42:20Speaker 4: they look dope.
- 42:21Speaker 1: They looked dope. Now, this is really funny because you
- 42:24Speaker 1: just said I'm not a materialistic person, which I truly
- 42:27Speaker 1: don't think that I am.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but I just could not do it.
- 42:33Speaker 1: I'm like, if I'm if I want a Burkin, then I'm.
- 42:36Speaker 4: Going to go to get a Burkin, the first thing
- 42:37Speaker 4: I would have done.
- 42:38Speaker 3: And they're like twenty five thousand dollars.
- 42:40Speaker 5: They're a stupid expense, which and then I would have
- 42:43Speaker 5: had Walmart like designed onto.
- 42:45Speaker 3: It, I.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Would have been sick.
- 42:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 42:49Speaker 3: I think there's a difference between.
- 42:53Speaker 7: Having a Burken bag and not wanting a knockoff of
- 42:56Speaker 7: a Burken bag.
- 42:57Speaker 1: That's what it is, I think, right, and.
- 42:59Speaker 3: I think and by the way, both are okay.
- 43:02Speaker 7: But some people are fine being like this is the
- 43:05Speaker 7: best knockoff ever and I'm rocking this, and other people
- 43:08Speaker 7: are like, you know what, I'd rather just get some
- 43:11Speaker 7: random Italian handbag that's beautiful and has its own identity.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I keep my back to identity.
- 43:19Speaker 3: But I was like, another word besides identity.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Now, I love the word identity, Yeah, besides you know.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Its own entity or right, versus getting a knockoff of
- 43:29Speaker 3: a Burkin.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Right. But I do love that the knockoff Burkin is
- 43:33Speaker 1: only eighty dollars because that's accessible, that's still that's still
- 43:37Speaker 1: you know, that's still a chunk of money. Yeah, And
- 43:43Speaker 1: I just don't feel like if you were to go
- 43:45Speaker 1: and get like the knockoff Burken bags that don't come
- 43:49Speaker 1: from Walmart, that that truly you want people to think
- 43:52Speaker 1: it's a Burken bagger. You want people to think this
- 43:54Speaker 1: is really Gucci, which I know how to tell fake
- 43:56Speaker 1: from real. Yeah, but I'm like, even though those things,
- 44:00Speaker 1: like I went to this woman's house and she was
- 44:03Speaker 1: selling foe everything. There was this north faced Gucci jacket
- 44:08Speaker 1: which I was just looking at. I knew that if
- 44:10Speaker 1: I wanted this, I would go purchase the actual one,
- 44:12Speaker 1: just because that's more my thing. Totally, it was still
- 44:17Speaker 1: eight hundred dollars. What I'm like, So, hold up, this
- 44:22Speaker 1: is a great deal for a Gucci, a real Gucci,
- 44:25Speaker 1: but for a knockoff, a knockoff Gucci. Like I'm spending
- 44:29Speaker 1: eight hundred dollars two have people think I'm in Gucci
- 44:33Speaker 1: to make them think that I'm what They don't. They
- 44:35Speaker 1: don't give a fuck. I've seen many people in a
- 44:37Speaker 1: Gucci and I don't think a thing about it. Yeah,
- 44:40Speaker 1: so it still can get expensive to wear like fake shit.
- 44:43Speaker 3: I'm by the way, I'm with you with that.
- 44:46Speaker 7: I would rather just go to norse Stroms or somewhere
- 44:49Speaker 7: else and walk into a store and be like, I'm
- 44:51Speaker 7: gonna buy this dope jacket.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Yeah, or multiple things. Yeah, yeah, absolutely right. Yeah, So
- 44:57Speaker 1: the thrift shop with eight hundred bucks totally different strokes
- 45:00Speaker 1: for different folks. Some people are really into the name
- 45:03Speaker 1: brand things and maybe they can't afford it at this
- 45:06Speaker 1: point in time, but it does something for them totally,
- 45:09Speaker 1: and therefore I'm happy that they can go and buy
- 45:12Speaker 1: knock off things. Or I do love the ideas and
- 45:16Speaker 1: of getting the Walmart burkein, yeah, and having like an
- 45:20Speaker 1: Alec monopoly like Walmart paint thing happened.
- 45:23Speaker 4: To I think it would be dope at And that's
- 45:25Speaker 4: the other thing.
- 45:25Speaker 5: I'd rather have the eighty dollars burkin and say it
- 45:27Speaker 5: was the Walmart, then have a fake burkein from like.
- 45:29Speaker 4: A third party that is somewhere else.
- 45:32Speaker 3: It's like at least you know, yeah, yeah.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Snoop Dogg left the voice amid Ditty scandal. You know,
- 45:38Speaker 1: it's really hard for large celebrities to do anything or
- 45:43Speaker 1: I guess stop doing something.
- 45:45Speaker 4: Without being without being obligations.
- 45:47Speaker 1: Are you a part of the ditty scandals? Like wow,
- 45:50Speaker 1: I'm just kind of over it.
- 45:51Speaker 4: It's like, no, I know, I was there.
- 45:53Speaker 1: It's more here.
- 45:55Speaker 5: The video with Snoop Dogg and Diddy is releasing and
- 45:58Speaker 5: I was like, what's I I haven't seen it.
- 46:02Speaker 4: If anybody has, let me know, but I thought it
- 46:04Speaker 4: was all. I think he's just taking time. Who knows
- 46:07Speaker 4: he's got me carried out?
- 46:08Speaker 7: I would be you know show, Yeah, burnt out, unintended.
- 46:14Speaker 3: A show like that is so grueling.
- 46:17Speaker 4: Yeah, fling for like ten twelve hours a day.
- 46:21Speaker 1: You know what's wild? Though? He just.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Started doing it?
- 46:25Speaker 1: Oh really yeah? But I mean he's booked and busy.
- 46:29Speaker 1: He does a lot.
- 46:30Speaker 4: But he's on mobile, don't Yeah, but mobile, that's a
- 46:34Speaker 4: that's a day. I mean, you don't matter.
- 46:36Speaker 8: He's on cricket.
- 46:40Speaker 4: It does.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Think about it, like you're on everything from like talking
- 46:44Speaker 1: about freaking.
- 46:46Speaker 5: Voices said like the voice is what you're doing every
- 46:49Speaker 5: you do everything to hopefully get the voice. You don't
- 46:52Speaker 5: drop the voice because you're doing everything.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Maybe there is something different strokes for different folks maybe,
- 46:58Speaker 1: or just or there's a fan the emergency and he's like,
- 47:01Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about it.
- 47:01Speaker 4: I got to go.
- 47:02Speaker 5: It's his kids, like they're athletes, like who knows they
- 47:05Speaker 5: could have torn an a c O.
- 47:07Speaker 4: I'm just making sure.
- 47:07Speaker 1: And there are versions of celebrities going to Ditty's parties
- 47:11Speaker 1: and they know when to leave, which someone said, Washington,
- 47:15Speaker 1: you leave when Denzel least when I didn't hear that really.
- 47:19Speaker 5: Little Dirk said that when you see Denzel Washington leaving
- 47:23Speaker 5: a party, that's when you leave.
- 47:24Speaker 4: That's your cue.
- 47:25Speaker 1: And also like there is a version that these celebrities go. Yeah,
- 47:30Speaker 1: I was at a ditty party and I'm aware he's
- 47:31Speaker 1: discussing and I didn't participate.
- 47:33Speaker 2: I left that party at this time.
- 47:35Speaker 1: Then I would talk amongst my friends about how disgusting
- 47:38Speaker 1: this fucking guy is.
- 47:39Speaker 5: Well, Michael Rubin is getting his party is getting thrown
- 47:42Speaker 5: into it as well, and it's like, I don't know
- 47:44Speaker 5: what is if it's true or not, but like now
- 47:47Speaker 5: everything that is a fancy or a top event is
- 47:50Speaker 5: now being thrown into this ditty thing. So now I
- 47:53Speaker 5: don't allegations are real or why people are leaving, but
- 47:56Speaker 5: I don't think he's a part of it.
- 47:58Speaker 1: I don't know, But I mean there's a lot of
- 48:00Speaker 1: shit that is sus in the world. Like everyone now
- 48:03Speaker 1: knows about the drones and whatever, and Bethany Frankel has
- 48:07Speaker 1: been keeping us updated year from Jersey. Did you see anything?
- 48:10Speaker 3: I didn't see any drones, but my brother did, did he?
- 48:12Speaker 4: Yep, he did.
- 48:13Speaker 3: My dad did too. He's like gen good, I saw one.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Jonah's dad is Italian Jewish, Yes, piercing blue eyes, fucking.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Hot, he slaps especially for eighty one.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Hey hey dad, And so when you impersonate him, I'm like, hello,
- 48:33Speaker 1: does it turn you on?
- 48:34Speaker 3: Is that the reaction.
- 48:36Speaker 1: You impersonating your dad? But Bethany Frankel has been like
- 48:41Speaker 1: all over this shit and in order for her stuff
- 48:43Speaker 1: to not get removed from TikTok.
- 48:46Speaker 4: Or reels, are we gonna ruin it for everyone? Wait?
- 48:50Speaker 1: What do you mean? Well? Your bags? So when she's
- 48:54Speaker 1: talking about this, when she speaks about like the leather,
- 48:57Speaker 1: she's talking about what what is basically what the drone
- 49:02Speaker 1: or plane is made up? Like when so just like
- 49:04Speaker 1: this leather is more metallicky that leather.
- 49:08Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying, ruin it? She's using like coke.
- 49:12Speaker 1: So do you a back? Drones pradas or planes oscar
- 49:15Speaker 1: dayla renta is the ones that morph into orbs and
- 49:19Speaker 1: the closet means the sky.
- 49:22Speaker 5: So and like what she say, like when you take
- 49:25Speaker 5: photos of them, they kind of it's almost like a
- 49:30Speaker 5: guana or something that can like take shape or like.
- 49:34Speaker 4: What is that? What is that it's like a lizard John.
- 49:37Speaker 2: A get go or some ship.
- 49:39Speaker 3: I'm getting what I thought a chameleon, a chamelion.
- 49:43Speaker 1: There we go.
- 49:43Speaker 4: So it's like when you're taking a photo, no, you're good.
- 49:49Speaker 4: When you're taking a photo of these motherfuckers in the air.
- 49:52Speaker 5: They can almost change shame shape or look like something.
- 49:58Speaker 4: That it's not.
- 49:59Speaker 3: So what do you I think it is?
- 50:00Speaker 1: Okay? So here here are some theories. And by the way,
- 50:03Speaker 1: there now there's now this fog that they're talking about,
- 50:09Speaker 1: the gray yes, and they're saying that they believe it's
- 50:12Speaker 1: man made to hide the drones. I've heard this too,
- 50:16Speaker 1: And these are the theories. Obviously, Angels, people are like,
- 50:20Speaker 1: it looks like I'm seeing orbs, I think, and in
- 50:22Speaker 1: the Bible this is what angels look like.
- 50:25Speaker 2: They're like an orb and that's what I'm saying. Aliens obviously, yep,
- 50:30Speaker 2: which I.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Would not doubt.
- 50:31Speaker 7: I wouldn't doubt either. There's definitely other life out there
- 50:34Speaker 7: in my opinion.
- 50:35Speaker 1: In my opinion as well, and I'm talking up in
- 50:37Speaker 1: the sky and down in the sea. Yeah. The other
- 50:41Speaker 1: theory is like we're becoming the Jetsons and we're all good.
- 50:43Speaker 1: They're like now practicing for all of us to be
- 50:45Speaker 1: in like aircrafts to commute. Who that's terrifying.
- 50:49Speaker 4: I like the ground.
- 50:50Speaker 2: I'm going to stay on the ground.
- 50:51Speaker 3: Wow.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to stay in my GMC, not your
- 50:55Speaker 2: R two D two.
- 50:57Speaker 4: Yeah. But what about non existent? And that's well that all.
- 51:01Speaker 3: I don't see that happening in my lifetime.
- 51:03Speaker 7: Yeah, the cars in the air, cars in the air,
- 51:08Speaker 7: I think it could happen in our lifetime.
- 51:09Speaker 3: Wow, all right, you heard heard it?
- 51:12Speaker 1: Hair first, the newest one, the newest one is that
- 51:17Speaker 1: Osama bin Lawden has a son who's trying to prove
- 51:21Speaker 1: himself in what is it? Al Qaeda? Is that what
- 51:24Speaker 1: he's a part of? And he has planned like micro
- 51:30Speaker 1: attacks and these drones are up there scanning for that.
- 51:34Speaker 1: That's terrifying.
- 51:35Speaker 3: That's terrifying.
- 51:36Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna go down that road. I'm going
- 51:38Speaker 1: to say that it's angels and aliens. Wow, And you
- 51:42Speaker 1: know what, I think they're all different because if it
- 51:45Speaker 1: is aliens, like down here on Earth, people are like
- 51:47Speaker 1: what'd you get as a car? They're like I'm looking
- 51:48Speaker 1: at the Corolla or like I'm gonna go buy the
- 51:50Speaker 1: new Range River I'm in the Sienna, which is this
- 51:55Speaker 1: new fabulous minivan or whatever you know, Aliens, I'm sure
- 51:58Speaker 1: up there and they're like, did you see new seven twelve,
- 52:02Speaker 1: fourteen seventy six Z He's flying around these streets fucking awesome.
- 52:06Speaker 4: You know. I'm just different.
- 52:08Speaker 1: It's new. I can't afford it. I may get the
- 52:10Speaker 1: old school model.
- 52:12Speaker 4: I might like this last year's.
- 52:14Speaker 7: But when you say that, are you saying that they're
- 52:15Speaker 7: coming down here being like, instead of wanting the want
- 52:17Speaker 7: you want, they want the GMC.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Probably they're looking at me right now be like, how
- 52:22Speaker 2: do we get this bitch in the air?
- 52:24Speaker 7: This is definitely a Colorado bang and Mom, I mean
- 52:27Speaker 7: I I am loving it.
- 52:29Speaker 1: There's been so many conspiracy theories that have actually started
- 52:32Speaker 1: like coming true, and we talked about this yesterday. I
- 52:36Speaker 1: think a lot of conspiracy theories make sense. And then
- 52:39Speaker 1: I think that the government like plants people in these
- 52:43Speaker 1: groups to give something so fucking out there that the
- 52:47Speaker 1: rest of the world is like conspiracy theorists. She's a
- 52:49Speaker 1: job and it's like, that's because she just told you
- 52:52Speaker 1: that Tupac and Jfker on an island and JFK's writing
- 52:56Speaker 1: all of Tupac's new beats like yes you sound.
- 52:58Speaker 4: Crazy reminded me of don't look up?
- 53:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that great yell?
- 53:08Speaker 4: All right, sheese nuts?
- 53:11Speaker 1: And then what is it in me? Horny for yummy
- 53:13Speaker 1: space Man. It's a great movie. It's so good, so good.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Before we sign off, BuzzFeed Who I Love published gen
- 53:25Speaker 1: Z trends that millennials side I and seven that they
- 53:29Speaker 1: secretly want to take part in.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Oh, I'm so excited for this one.
- 53:32Speaker 2: I'm excited for this too because I can't get your takes.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Okay, okay. The first one is they love baggy jeans. Honestly,
- 53:38Speaker 1: I love how baggy jeans and pants are popular again.
- 53:41Speaker 1: The phase of skin tight pants and jaggings was hard
- 53:44Speaker 1: for me because I felt like I was squeezed into
- 53:46Speaker 1: my clothes for the sake of fashion. What do you
- 53:49Speaker 1: feel about that, Well, you love a baggage.
- 53:51Speaker 3: I love a baggy jean. Oh, I love a baggy pant.
- 53:55Speaker 3: And it does it brings me back to uh, I love.
- 54:03Speaker 1: A baggageen, I've always loved a baggagean yeah, because when
- 54:07Speaker 1: the tight clothes were in, tight pants were in. It
- 54:11Speaker 1: was during the time where I so badly wanted just
- 54:15Speaker 1: a huge ass, but I was only like fourteen. I
- 54:19Speaker 1: didn't feel good.
- 54:20Speaker 7: I didn't I live in leggings, right, so when I
- 54:24Speaker 7: can put on a wide leg pants and be comfy,
- 54:27Speaker 7: I'm like, yes, let's go.
- 54:29Speaker 2: And you can wear it with a cute heel.
- 54:31Speaker 3: Are getting out for sure?
- 54:32Speaker 1: Side eyeing always critical. I can't stand the way gen
- 54:35Speaker 1: Z is always critical of everything Millennials do. They hate
- 54:38Speaker 1: the way we dress, the way we dance. They think
- 54:40Speaker 1: they are old. They think that we are old and
- 54:42Speaker 1: out of touch. I think gen Z is like so
- 54:48Speaker 1: out of touch with life Millennials.
- 54:50Speaker 2: I've always said this, we're the sweet spot.
- 54:52Speaker 1: We had to deal with dial up internet or whatever. Yep,
- 54:58Speaker 1: flip phones. Then the iPhone appar and it was like,
- 55:00Speaker 1: oh what is this? Like I remember all of it right,
- 55:06Speaker 1: I experienced VHSD. The money is going from working for something,
- 55:14Speaker 1: working for something, working for something, And I think the
- 55:18Speaker 1: difference is is that millennials have learned to work smarter, yes,
- 55:23Speaker 1: not harder. We still value like what it takes to
- 55:27Speaker 1: earn a dollar, but we know we know just enough
- 55:32Speaker 1: about technology that we can use it. But still sit
- 55:37Speaker 1: there and be like, I can't deal with this Google calendar.
- 55:39Speaker 1: Someone get me something hard that I can write on. Yeah,
- 55:41Speaker 1: or ride.
- 55:43Speaker 3: Ay twenty twenty five, Baby, we know.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Where my mind goes. Love young men taking fashion risks.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I love that a lot of young gen Z men
- 55:52Speaker 1: are taking more fashion risks that men in my generation. Yeah,
- 55:56Speaker 1: but they didn't.
- 55:57Speaker 3: I agree with that.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Their painting their nails, carrying toe bags, even reading books
- 56:02Speaker 1: in public. I feel like reading books in public, even
- 56:07Speaker 1: painting their nails, and ye like, why is that the big.
- 56:11Speaker 2: It's a he's reading in public?
- 56:14Speaker 4: What a bold fashion choice?
- 56:16Speaker 1: What intelligence? I'm reading right now? A Court of Thorns
- 56:24Speaker 1: and Roses? Yeah, every like everyone's like fantasy, uh, the
- 56:29Speaker 1: fantasy world. It's like fifty Shades of Gray meets the
- 56:33Speaker 1: Twilight series.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Sorry, cute reader like that.
- 56:36Speaker 1: I like to read.
- 56:36Speaker 3: I wanted to take a break from murder.
- 56:39Speaker 1: I don't like. I don't enjoy the fashion choices men
- 56:43Speaker 1: are making, Like I could.
- 56:44Speaker 4: Do with that.
- 56:45Speaker 1: You know what I got back? It's about the way
- 56:48Speaker 1: you carry it. I agree. I think it kind of
- 56:50Speaker 1: makes it fun. Yeah, Like I was all about that
- 56:54Speaker 1: hot guy from One Direction wearing a skirt.
- 56:57Speaker 3: Oh yeah, me too.
- 56:58Speaker 1: I was like, damn, he really pulls that off right,
- 57:01Speaker 1: side eyeing the word sleigh. I'm thirty three and I
- 57:03Speaker 1: can't stand the word sleigh. I feel like that's more
- 57:05Speaker 1: millennial than gen Z. I've been saying sleigh for the longest. Yeah,
- 57:09Speaker 1: but the way gen Z says it is very fucking annoying.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Like I've been watching sex lives of college girls yep,
- 57:16Speaker 1: and I love it right, but there are moments that I'm.
- 57:19Speaker 7: Like, yeah, yeah, yeah, beyond I'm like, I know, it's
- 57:24Speaker 7: very like I actually don't say slay that much.
- 57:27Speaker 2: I never say it.
- 57:27Speaker 1: I don't even know why.
- 57:28Speaker 4: It's just said, girl say.
- 57:31Speaker 3: That, Yeah, yeah, you just slayed that.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Oversized clothes is what we're loving. Side eyeing middle parts.
- 57:40Speaker 1: What millennials are side eyeing middle parts? I'm like millennials
- 57:45Speaker 1: what we both have right now, and we're both millennials,
- 57:48Speaker 1: and I've been rocking a middle part for the longest ever.
- 57:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I never stopped the middle park.
- 57:52Speaker 1: They want to side part I means, I like, does
- 57:55Speaker 1: that mean like I aged and then came back cool?
- 57:58Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe because it says middle park and
- 58:00Speaker 1: the accompanying disdain for the side parts. So it's the
- 58:04Speaker 1: middle part that gen zs are rocking and then following
- 58:10Speaker 1: it up with side parts are for old people, and
- 58:13Speaker 1: it's like, I love a side part too.
- 58:15Speaker 3: Wow, I've never done a side part.
- 58:17Speaker 4: Really you can.
- 58:20Speaker 3: Maybe you're gonna have man, this is my calling to
- 58:21Speaker 3: try it.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Yeah you okay?
- 58:23Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 58:24Speaker 5: Very exhausted from six Flags.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Literally, sorry I didn't I didn't acknowledge that because it's
- 58:33Speaker 1: not interesting.
- 58:34Speaker 4: Just kidding.
- 58:35Speaker 5: I am a six Flag season pass holder.
- 58:39Speaker 1: I'm going to go for breakfast, by the way, I
- 58:41Speaker 1: want to go with you next time, Jenna, we'll go too. Yes,
- 58:44Speaker 1: love's accessories. Love the high socks and hair clips, side
- 58:47Speaker 1: eyeing crop tops, and the obsession with brand named skincare
- 58:50Speaker 1: and the overpriced Stanley Crave again, I love all of them.
- 58:55Speaker 1: I love all of those things, anything that can show
- 58:58Speaker 1: off that hard work. You and I are at the
- 59:00Speaker 1: tail end of millennials, that's true, so we're kind of
- 59:03Speaker 1: like so we're still kind of I think he's the
- 59:05Speaker 1: last age group of millennials.
- 59:07Speaker 4: Wow, love me or the year of under Me.
- 59:10Speaker 1: They love the work attitudes of gen Z, which is
- 59:13Speaker 1: weird because I think they're laziest fun.
- 59:15Speaker 3: I love how we all just went sight.
- 59:17Speaker 4: I know that he was at six Flags and I
- 59:19Speaker 4: saw a lot of.
- 59:20Speaker 1: What they're saying is they are lazy, but they love
- 59:22Speaker 1: how they're not afraid to say fuck the corporate world.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Oh and working past your wage, I.
- 59:29Speaker 5: Mean I get that, but like, you're only worth what
- 59:31Speaker 5: somebody is willing to pay for you.
- 59:34Speaker 1: That that is that fucking part right now, Let's give
- 59:38Speaker 1: that a moment when someone says, yeah, it's it's worth
- 59:41Speaker 1: this much, and it's like, well, it's been sitting here
- 59:43Speaker 1: kind of a while, so I want to tell you.
- 59:45Speaker 1: The worth is what someone's willing.
- 59:46Speaker 4: To pay for. Yeah.
- 59:47Speaker 5: So I know that you think this job that you're working,
- 59:49Speaker 5: you should be getting paid like fifty sixty bucks an hour.
- 59:52Speaker 4: Buddy, you're fine a minimum wage.
- 59:55Speaker 1: And then your Grandma's like, wh're not. I watch working,
- 59:57Speaker 1: I watched making a shut shit out. I would have
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: killed for seven frifty. I think that's the minimum age
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: in Utah. Yeah, so good. They love retro chic. I
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: love retrouse retro chic too. Side eyeing skincare obsession.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: I'm I'd always been about skincare.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: My love's my gen z is developing this because they're
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: looking at everyone else going, I wish they would have
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: put face cream on every night, like this is their
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: obsession with it is because they're looking around, going, if
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: we don't do this.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: We're gonna look like that generation. So that's your own
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: fucking fault.
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: It's called moisturizer.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm confused by that one.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I'm confused by it too, because I love If I
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: see it, I will buy it.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't understand that one at all.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: It could be brand name, it could be from CVS.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I don't give a damn put it on my face.
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: I also feel like, sorry, gen Z, but that's just
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: kind of technology and putting it in.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: But you know what, it's millennials saying that they hate that.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: They're side eyeing that about gen Z. Gen Z is
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: obsessed with skincare, and millennials are like, like, they're ubsessed
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: with her because loss I don't want That's.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: Why we gifted that to them.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Yes, like Kylie Jenner, I believe is a gen Zer
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: And even though she looks older than she is right now,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: that bitch is going to look that way for the
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: rest of her life.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: Oh for sure.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: It's like dad, Yeah, that always looks super fucking old,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden, I was like, I know.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: That looks really good for his age.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: They love that there's less smoking with Gen Z millennials.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: There's not less smoking, it's just a v instead.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: Yeah, and a lot of people do what I do
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: and then I ghost it.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't know you're in trouble at Disneyland.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: I didn't ghost it. That old bag.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: She wasn't an old bag. She was young, and had
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: she been an old bag, she would have kicked you
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: out of Disneyland.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: Lisa with the double glasses.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: No, she has an old back. You already know what
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: I'm gonna say. I just stepped on her toe or something. Yeah.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: So the seventh, they're side eyeing the eyewear styles. I
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: think that's boring and lame because I actually love eyewear.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Interesting.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Yeah, so those are the seven. I found them interesting.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I could get down with some of them, but it
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: makes sense that we're towards the back end of the
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: millennials and I will take that and wear that with pride.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: You guys, this was a super fun podcast. Jenna Willis,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: thank you for joining us, Thank you, thank you always fun.
