  Speaker 1: It's still welcome.
• 0:16
Speaker 2: Everybody. Welcome to this week's edition, Miss no Real. This
• 0:20
Speaker 2: shows number seven hundred and sixty one for September twelve two.
• 0:24
Speaker 2: That on twenty four is your eight of all out,
• 0:27
Speaker 2: recap and review edition of the ass R tam you.
• 0:32
Speaker 2: I am one after the show, I am Jeff Packet
• 0:34
Speaker 2: joined every single week on agost of one one, Doctor
• 0:37
Speaker 2: Trent Franklin, Doctor Tray. I bet you didn't think I
• 0:39
Speaker 2: was gonna be able to sound like this, my friend.
• 0:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, I was telling you off air.
• 0:43
Speaker 3: I thought, at worst you might sound a little bit
• 0:47
Speaker 3: like Eugene. At best maybe Cody Rose, Jack Swagger, lisp
• 0:53
Speaker 3: going on or thing. The fact that you threw out
• 0:57
Speaker 3: the normal intro just then, less than a week after
• 1:01
Speaker 3: having well right out, a week from having jaw surgery,
• 1:04
Speaker 3: you're a trooper, Jeff Peck in false sense of the term.
• 1:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot of people that are amazed at
• 1:10
Speaker 2: my healing. I guess I'm certainly one of them. It
• 1:13
Speaker 2: has been a trip, certainly for myself. So I had
• 1:17
Speaker 2: a tumor on my jaw. It's come back, It's benign.
• 1:21
Speaker 2: Everybody's good. Had that removed, had about a two and
• 1:24
Speaker 2: a half three hour surgery a week ago today, so
• 1:27
Speaker 2: last Thursday. And it was the longest surgery of my life.
• 1:31
Speaker 2: The only other time I had surgery, I was out
• 1:33
Speaker 2: for ten minutes, legitimately ten minutes. And I know, doctory
• 1:37
Speaker 2: you're coming off with some surgeries recently and all that stuff.
• 1:40
Speaker 2: Anesthesia is no joke, my friend. I mean, I went
• 1:43
Speaker 2: out at like two forty five. My surgery was at three.
• 1:47
Speaker 2: I went out at two forty five, and the next
• 1:48
Speaker 2: time I looked at a clock, it was seven oh
• 1:51
Speaker 2: seven pm, And I'm like, whoa, how the hell did
• 1:54
Speaker 2: we get here? And my surgery ended at about five
• 2:00
Speaker 2: thirty or so, and I don't remember really coming to
• 2:03
Speaker 2: until about like seven o'clock at night. So I'm not
• 2:07
Speaker 2: eating solids still soft food for the time being, which
• 2:12
Speaker 2: really really sucks. And I actually am doing this podcast
• 2:17
Speaker 2: with one earbud in my ear right now. I should
• 2:21
Speaker 2: have grabbed my headphones and literally over my ears because
• 2:24
Speaker 2: they did the surgery on my jaw. I was up
• 2:26
Speaker 2: on my condyle through basically through my ear, like pulled
• 2:31
Speaker 2: my ear lobe off my body, which is just weird
• 2:34
Speaker 2: to say. So I can't get any EarPods in my
• 2:40
Speaker 2: ear right now, So I am I am gutting this out,
• 2:42
  Speaker 2: my friend.
• 2:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, So I think I told you last week and
• 2:47
Speaker 3: a little bit I told this before. Like I remember
• 2:49
Speaker 3: the first time I ever had a colonoscopy. I remember
• 2:54
Speaker 3: them putting me on the gurdy. They put an IV
• 2:56
Speaker 3: in me, and then they said cow bag from one hundred,
• 2:58
Speaker 3: I made it's like ninety five and that was it.
• 3:01
Speaker 3: And then I remember waking up in the lobby of
• 3:05
Speaker 3: the facility we were in talking to my dad like
• 3:09
Speaker 3: mid sense and I'm like, wait, how did I get here.
• 3:12
Speaker 3: He's like, You've been talking to me for like thirty minutes.
• 3:14
Speaker 3: And I'm like, how did I even get dressed? And
• 3:16
Speaker 3: he was like, oh, well, be in. The nurse got
• 3:18
Speaker 3: you dressed. I'm like, I'm a grown man and my
• 3:21
Speaker 3: dad and a nurse were dressing me. And so anesthesia
• 3:25
Speaker 3: is so wild that I remember, like the last one
• 3:27
Speaker 3: for the foot surgery, like I didn't didn't have to
• 3:31
Speaker 3: count back, like they put it in and before I
• 3:34
Speaker 3: got to the surgery to the surgical room, I was
• 3:37
  Speaker 3: already out.
• 3:39
Speaker 2: Yeah, that was very similar for me.
• 3:41
Speaker 3: Yeah, and I don't remember anything until I mean, it
• 3:45
Speaker 3: was probably a couple hours, like you, like a couple
• 3:47
Speaker 3: hours after the surgery that I woke up and my
• 3:49
Speaker 3: wife said there next to me.
• 3:50
Speaker 1: I'm like, how long have I been here for? She's like, oh,
• 3:52
Speaker 1: about an hour and a half.
• 3:53
Speaker 3: And I'm like, I don't know how you guys have
• 3:55
Speaker 3: the patience to sit here for an hour and a
• 3:57
Speaker 3: half with someone who's just like snoring and drooling Like
• 3:59
Speaker 3: I would have been, like I didn't check it out
• 4:01
Speaker 3: on of got some food and came back and kept.
• 4:04
Speaker 1: An eye out. But yeah, it's it's crazy.
• 4:06
Speaker 3: And then you'll have like a little bit of a
• 4:08
Speaker 3: lingering effect for like a couple of days.
• 4:10
Speaker 1: Sometimes it's like a fog that just kind.
• 4:13
Speaker 3: Of sets in that just takes forever to kind of
• 4:17
  Speaker 3: dissipate out.
• 4:18
Speaker 2: Oh, I said on Sunday to my wife, I'm like,
• 4:20
Speaker 2: I still don't feel one hundred percent. Is that normal?
• 4:24
Speaker 2: Because it's the anesthesia alone, Like my jaw feels pretty decent.
• 4:29
Speaker 2: I mean there's like a dull, little like pain and
• 4:33
Speaker 2: like the right side of my face closer to my
• 4:35
Speaker 2: as I get closer to my ear, it gets a
• 4:37
Speaker 2: number and numb. I'm starting to regain feeling in my cheek,
• 4:41
Speaker 2: but I had this like massive wrap around my head
• 4:44
Speaker 2: for seventy two hours. I've explained it to people like
• 4:49
Speaker 2: like I looked like someone that had a toothache in
• 4:51
Speaker 2: nineteen fifty. That's what I had going on. But the
• 4:55
Speaker 2: thing that was the most was like the anesthesia like
• 4:58
Speaker 2: really kicked my ass. My wife showed me a photo
• 5:03
Speaker 2: last night Wednesday night of me in recovery post op,
• 5:08
Speaker 2: and I'm looking at myself and I'm like, wait, I
• 5:11
Speaker 2: had an iv in. I had no idea, and no
• 5:15
Speaker 2: idea they were giving me fluids. Yeah.
• 5:17
Speaker 3: My question for you right now is though, are are
• 5:19
Speaker 3: you just sharing foods with your son right now?
• 5:22
Speaker 2: We're going back and forth. Well, he's just one sold
• 5:25
Speaker 2: breast milk, So no, him and I are not sharing that.
• 5:28
Speaker 2: But I guess if he was a couple months older,
• 5:30
Speaker 2: then he and I would be into smashed peas and
• 5:34
  Speaker 2: apple sauce.
• 5:35
Speaker 3: I mean, you could look at your wife and say, hey,
• 5:38
Speaker 3: some foods protein, calcium.
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: There you go.
• 5:42
Speaker 2: I walked right into that one my friends. So but yeah, no,
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: it's been it's been pretty wild. It's there's a potential
• 5:51
Speaker 2: for a second surgery, and I mean this is like
• 5:55
Speaker 2: nobody ever says like, oh, this that was enjoyable or
• 5:58
Speaker 2: anything like that. But doctor, I do not want to
• 6:02
Speaker 2: touch a surgery anytime soon, and I'm hopeful that they
• 6:05
Speaker 2: can repair the final leg of this entire jaw issue
• 6:09
Speaker 2: that's been plaguing me the last couple of years over
• 6:13
Speaker 2: various different ways rather than surgical because in all honesty,
• 6:17
Speaker 2: like the anesthesia like really screwed me up. I mean
• 6:21
Speaker 2: it was. It was brutal. Man.
• 6:24
Speaker 3: So not to kind of change subjects, but I had
• 6:28
Speaker 3: my followed like the day you were having surgery. I
• 6:30
Speaker 3: had my four month follow a visit with my doctor
• 6:34
Speaker 3: for my foot surgery, and you know, everybody works.
• 6:38
Speaker 1: Be like, man, when do you get in back? What
• 6:40
Speaker 1: are you get in back?
• 6:40
Speaker 3: And I'm you know, I told you just off air,
• 6:42
Speaker 3: like they never gave me a timeline. And so I
• 6:45
Speaker 3: finally saw my doctor for the first time in about
• 6:47
Speaker 3: a month and a half two months I've been seeing
• 6:49
Speaker 3: like her associate doctors and things like that, and she
• 6:54
Speaker 3: told me flat out, she goes, your foot is the
• 6:57
Speaker 3: bone graft took? Everything looks great, everything was healing properly.
• 7:02
Speaker 3: She goes, what are you like four and a half
• 7:03
Speaker 3: months from the surgery. I'm like, no, it's been three
• 7:05
Speaker 3: and a half. She goes, and then she looked at
• 7:07
Speaker 3: the physical therapy report and she goes, you know, you're
• 7:10
Speaker 3: about a month ahead of schedule.
• 7:12
Speaker 1: And I was like really. I was like really.
• 7:14
Speaker 3: She goes, yeah, she goes, normal recovery time for this
• 7:16
Speaker 3: is about six months. She goes, you're looking to be
• 7:19
Speaker 3: recovered by five and she goes, even that surprising because
• 7:21
Speaker 3: with you being a diabetic, I was expecting seven to eight.
• 7:25
Speaker 3: So I was like, wow, okay, cool, Like, I guess
• 7:32
Speaker 3: Jeff and I both just heal faster for a diabetic
• 7:36
Speaker 3: and a ginger, which I think is going to be
• 7:38
Speaker 3: our new podcast down the road.
• 7:40
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just gonna be a medical.
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: Show Ginger Diabetes.
• 7:43
Speaker 2: Yeah. As the older we get, we just discussed our
• 7:45
Speaker 2: latest surgeries that are going in our lives. Funny enough,
• 7:49
Speaker 2: doctor Trey, So I'm sure you just experienced with your
• 7:52
Speaker 2: surgery a couple months ago as well. There were multiple
• 7:55
Speaker 2: people that came in multiple times asking me the same
• 7:57
Speaker 2: questions over and over before I went to surgery, what
• 8:00
Speaker 2: type of allergies? I have medical past, medical history, family history,
• 8:04
Speaker 2: all this stuff. So the big one was the anst anesthesiologist.
• 8:08
Speaker 2: They came in both separately twice to me one apiece.
• 8:13
Speaker 2: They asked the same questions, do you have any family
• 8:14
Speaker 2: history of anesthesia issues? No, what is your past medical history?
• 8:17
Speaker 2: Very minimal? Blah blah blah. Then I did it again,
• 8:20
Speaker 2: I actually said to the woman. I was like, I
• 8:22
Speaker 2: literally just gave this to your colleague like twenty minutes ago,
• 8:24
Speaker 2: and she's like, okay, yeah, yeah, just do it again
• 8:26
Speaker 2: for me. I'm like, okay, went through the whole gambit.
• 8:29
Speaker 2: So I'm sitting in the recovery room post op and
• 8:33
Speaker 2: my monitor is right in front of me and it
• 8:36
Speaker 2: has like all this information on it and all this stuff,
• 8:38
Speaker 2: and I'm just like looking at it, and I happen
• 8:41
Speaker 2: to see and it was like, there's like this anesthesia
• 8:44
Speaker 2: report and it said like past family history and it
• 8:48
Speaker 2: said bulleted family doesn't take to anesthesia. Well, I'm like,
• 8:53
Speaker 2: I did not say that at all. And then it
• 8:55
Speaker 2: said past medical history type two diabetes. I'm like, I
• 8:58
Speaker 2: am not a diabetic, Like what the fuck is this?
• 9:02
Speaker 2: Like they did I get a stronger dosage? Did somebody
• 9:06
Speaker 2: screw up? Because this is not factual. So I actually
• 9:09
Speaker 2: never got to the bottom of that because I was
• 9:10
Speaker 2: still screwed up by the time I left to the hospital.
• 9:12
Speaker 2: I just wanted to go. I was like, I could
• 9:14
Speaker 2: walk out of here. They're like, no, you need a wheelchair.
• 9:16
  Speaker 2: I was like, I believe me, I can go. I'm
• 9:20
Speaker 2: glad they got the wheelchair.
• 9:22
Speaker 1: So I drew on my foot.
• 9:25
Speaker 3: I was like, this foot and then on the other foot.
• 9:28
Speaker 3: I went, not this one, the other one, just to
• 9:31
Speaker 3: make sure they actually got it right, because I was
• 9:35
  Speaker 3: literally in that.
• 9:36
Speaker 1: Like I had a friend of mine he went in for.
• 9:40
Speaker 3: He had to have some kind of prostate surgery and
• 9:42
Speaker 3: he literally went in and on the front part of
• 9:45
Speaker 3: the anatomy he like around his groin, he rode not this,
• 9:50
Speaker 3: go to the back door for his proces surgery.
• 9:53
Speaker 2: I thought that was right. Oh that is awesome, man.
• 9:58
Speaker 2: So there you go surgery Recap and Review on this
• 10:01
Speaker 2: week's edition of SRTU. Glad I'm I'm doing well and
• 10:07
Speaker 2: you know, able to sit here and do the podcast,
• 10:09
Speaker 2: because I really thought I was gonna be like, no,
• 10:10
Speaker 2: coming up next to the aw all out recap and review,
• 10:13
Speaker 2: and I was like, gonna have to have a disclaimer
• 10:17
Speaker 2: in the beginning that if I sound like I have
• 10:18
Speaker 2: marbles in my mouth, I apologize. So if I sound
• 10:21
Speaker 2: like I have marbles in my mouth, now, that's just
• 10:23
Speaker 2: because I'm tired and maybe still groggy and can't really talk.
• 10:27
Speaker 2: So and that's just in general. It has nothing to
• 10:30
Speaker 2: do with surgery. With U said, let's switch gears to
• 10:33
Speaker 2: aw all out recap review this past Saturday from the
• 10:36
Speaker 2: Now Arena in Chicago, Chicago, Illinois. We had four pre
• 10:40
Speaker 2: show matches here, Doctor Trey, and this kind of tells
• 10:43
Speaker 2: you how like a little bit groggy I was with
• 10:45
Speaker 2: some of my notes from this stuff. So the first
• 10:47
Speaker 2: match here the Acclaimed defeating the Iron Savages. We did
• 10:50
Speaker 2: not predict this match. The Iron Savage has got a
• 10:53
Speaker 2: lot of good offense in on a team that that
• 10:55
Speaker 2: was just involved in the aw Tag team title match
• 10:57
Speaker 2: at all in and he acclaimed. It was also weird
• 10:59
Speaker 2: to see the Acclaimed in the spot two weeks after
• 11:02
Speaker 2: all in anything you want to share about this pre show.
• 11:04
Speaker 1: Match, really enjoyed the Iron Savages.
• 11:08
Speaker 3: The weird little hand motion to motor boating thing is
• 11:11
  Speaker 3: kind of catchy.
• 11:12
  Speaker 2: Tity City.
• 11:13
Speaker 1: Yes, if you say so.
• 11:16
Speaker 2: That's what they call it. This is not my I
• 11:18
  Speaker 2: thought you.
• 11:18
Speaker 1: Said RJ City, so I got confused for a second.
• 11:21
Speaker 2: Fair fair enough, same thing, But yeah.
• 11:24
Speaker 3: It was really for me, the biggest done for this
• 11:26
Speaker 3: one was the fact that you had the acclaim that
• 11:28
Speaker 3: we're just in a triple threat World Tight Team title
• 11:31
Speaker 3: match as the opening match on the pre show, like,
• 11:35
Speaker 3: not even the main event on the pre show like
• 11:37
Speaker 3: the opening match. So maybe it's their way of kind of,
• 11:41
Speaker 3: you know, getting the crowd fired up, but if you
• 11:44
Speaker 3: need to get the crowd fired up for all out,
• 11:46
Speaker 3: then you're probably having some other issues.
• 11:48
Speaker 1: But it's just a weird spot for the BM.
• 11:49
Speaker 3: But yeah, the Iron Savage has got a lot of
• 11:51
Speaker 3: offense in for that match, but I think it was
• 11:54
Speaker 3: mostly to lead to for some reason, Max Caster having
• 11:57
Speaker 3: to pick up a big, giant man for some reason.
• 11:59
Speaker 3: So outside that it was, it was a fun little
• 12:01
Speaker 3: tag match and enjoyable to watch.
• 12:04
Speaker 2: Hologram Sammycavar on Dustin Road defeated the Premier Athletes in
• 12:06
Speaker 2: a trio match. Once again, we did not predict this one.
• 12:09
Speaker 2: I hope they start to advanced Holograms booking, as I'm
• 12:11
Speaker 2: interested to see how he would fare with some bigger
• 12:13
Speaker 2: names in aw Also, how weird has Sammy Gazzar Sammy
• 12:18
Speaker 2: Guvar's booking been in the last year. Uh. I think
• 12:21
Speaker 2: it's due to being self inflicted, as he was spent
• 12:23
Speaker 2: for a period of this time as well, But that
• 12:26
Speaker 2: has been one of the most confusing things I've ever
• 12:27
Speaker 2: seen for a guy who was considered to be or
• 12:29
Speaker 2: is considered to be one of the pillars of aw
• 12:32
Speaker 2: Doctor Trey, your thoughts on.
• 12:33
Speaker 3: This one, Yeah, I mean it was a it was
• 12:35
Speaker 3: a good little it was a good little six man
• 12:36
Speaker 3: tag but like I'm watching this Cooks, I had not
• 12:38
Speaker 3: really seen a lot of the hologram in person, just
• 12:41
Speaker 3: the just kind of like some clips and stuff, and
• 12:44
Speaker 3: for a brief moment I was convinced that was especially
• 12:47
Speaker 3: saying Kara uh, but it wasn't. The Sammy Guvar booking
• 12:51
Speaker 3: is weird. Seeing him and Dustin as a tag team
• 12:53
Speaker 3: is still taking some getting used to. Not to mention,
• 12:57
Speaker 3: Dustin is one third of the ring of our six
• 13:00
Speaker 3: man tag team champions and neither of his partners were
• 13:03
Speaker 3: in this match, so a.
• 13:05
Speaker 1: Little confusing there as well.
• 13:06
Speaker 3: But overall, like once again, this was the entire pre
• 13:09
Speaker 3: show is they were kind of fun, silly nondescript matches,
• 13:14
Speaker 3: but yeah, I'm kind of the Sami booking is weird.
• 13:18
Speaker 3: Is Hologram gonna get the Commander treatment because or a
• 13:22
Speaker 3: Kingo treatment because those guys were super over for a
• 13:24
Speaker 3: little bit and then distant memories in the past. I
• 13:28
Speaker 3: just I don't know what they're going to do with
• 13:31
Speaker 3: this character who doesn't really speak and is kind of
• 13:35
  Speaker 3: a gimmick look.
• 13:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't know what they're gonna do too.
• 13:38
Speaker 2: I mean, I've been watching on collision and he is
• 13:40
Speaker 2: very impressive. There are times that he does miss some
• 13:43
Speaker 2: of his amazing spots, which should be a given at
• 13:46
Speaker 2: Brussel Prus that he's human. The name is very lame
• 13:49
Speaker 2: in very nineties, but I think they need to start
• 13:52
Speaker 2: pushing them up a little bit because there have been
• 13:54
Speaker 2: some highlight reel stuff and I think it's time coming
• 13:57
Speaker 2: out of all out and all in to see what
• 13:59
Speaker 2: we've got with them and if he's someone that can
• 14:01
Speaker 2: stay up there with the best of them, So we
• 14:04
Speaker 2: will see where things go from there. Next match here
• 14:06
Speaker 2: is the Bang Bang Gang defeating the Dark Order in
• 14:08
Speaker 2: trios match. Once again the not predict this one. The
• 14:11
Speaker 2: Bank Bank Gang are super over and should be pushed more.
• 14:13
Speaker 2: And I also miss the days when the Dark Order
• 14:15
Speaker 2: we're featured more on AW television. I'm sure your thoughts
• 14:17
  Speaker 2: on this one.
• 14:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, I miss Johnny Hungy being on Dynamite more like
• 14:23
Speaker 3: I can watch him wrestle all day long.
• 14:26
Speaker 1: Now Evil, you know, I like Evil?
• 14:27
Speaker 3: Who know? I like Alex Rams, but John Silver like
• 14:30
Speaker 3: why he is not? Their version of Chad Gable makes
• 14:33
Speaker 3: no sense to me? But the Bang Bang Gang and
• 14:37
Speaker 3: Juice Robinson are just so over and so much fun
• 14:40
Speaker 3: to watch, and I'm just itching for j White to
• 14:42
Speaker 3: get back so they can be featured more because having
• 14:45
Speaker 3: the acclaimed in the Bang Bang Gang on your pre
• 14:49
Speaker 3: show is kind of a waste.
• 14:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, It's just the whole pre show to
• 14:58
Speaker 2: me in general, Doctor Troy was like just thrown together
• 15:01
Speaker 2: matches and I did I did not understand the pre show.
• 15:04
Speaker 2: I know we got one more match to go here,
• 15:05
Speaker 2: but I actually was like irritated watching the pre show.
• 15:09
  Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree.
• 15:10
Speaker 2: So next match is the Undisputed Kingdom feeding the Beast.
• 15:13
Speaker 2: Mortos and Shane Taylor Promotions in Action Andretti Anti Flight
• 15:16
Speaker 2: Top Flight in a three way trios match did not
• 15:18
Speaker 2: predict this one another strange throwaway match on the pre show,
• 15:22
Speaker 2: as the Beast Mortos had been working with the Undisputed
• 15:24
Speaker 2: Kingdom all the time leading up to this match. At
• 15:26
Speaker 2: least aw cover that as a segment on Collision or
• 15:29
Speaker 2: Rampage the day before, and I wonder what happened to Wardlow.
• 15:32
Speaker 2: I just was saying the Undisputed Kingdom and I was like, man,
• 15:34
Speaker 2: what the hell is Wardlow? They won this one, Doctor.
• 15:37
Speaker 1: Trey, Yeah, I was.
• 15:39
Speaker 3: I know they try to cover it, but I was like,
• 15:40
Speaker 3: did Tony Kahn think Beast Mortos was black?
• 15:43
  Speaker 1: I don't.
• 15:43
Speaker 3: I don't really understand. It was like, yeah, they covered it,
• 15:46
Speaker 3: but still is like it's weird. And then you know
• 15:49
Speaker 3: we had that weird appearance on Dynamite from him as
• 15:51
Speaker 3: well to take out Ricochet.
• 15:52
Speaker 1: I was like, does he I don't know what his
• 15:54
Speaker 1: deal is, but yeah it was.
• 15:55
Speaker 3: It was an interesting match in well done, but then
• 15:59
Speaker 3: you know, heck, I got surprised with Donama. I forgot
• 16:03
Speaker 3: Leo Rush was friends with Top Flight, so at least
• 16:06
  Speaker 3: that I'm like, okay, Like I like the I don't
• 16:10
Speaker 3: hate the gear when they do the top gun version
• 16:14
Speaker 3: of their gear, but the Flight Attendant Captain ones are
• 16:19
Speaker 3: a little disconcerting at times, but yeah, I mean at
• 16:22
Speaker 3: least Roddy and Tayvin and Bennett got a win because
• 16:25
Speaker 3: those guys have been kind of the good soldiers for
• 16:30
Speaker 3: everybody else they're trying to get over, So it's a
• 16:32
Speaker 3: good victory for Undisputed Kingdom.
• 16:35
Speaker 2: We have met our quote officially of mentioning something about
• 16:38
Speaker 2: the top Flight uniforms. I think we're running on a
• 16:42
Speaker 2: three week podcast streak, so stay tuned for next week
• 16:44
Speaker 2: if we could talk about it, because I'm with doctor Trey.
• 16:46
Speaker 2: It's it's one of those things I noticed every single time.
• 16:49
Speaker 2: Sometimes they wear them, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they're different,
• 16:51
Speaker 2: sometimes they're not there. You go Top Flight in Action
• 16:55
Speaker 2: and treading in Leo rush All. Now in Flight weear
• 16:58
Speaker 2: onto the main show. MJF defeats Daniel Garcia. We both
• 17:01
Speaker 2: at MGF in this one. This was an interesting match
• 17:04
Speaker 2: result with MJF getting the victory, but Daniel Garcia lays
• 17:06
Speaker 2: them out post match despite MJF going away for a
• 17:09
Speaker 2: bit to film something. I guess that's why they did
• 17:11
Speaker 2: that angle. It appears there may be a contract issue
• 17:14
Speaker 2: with Garcia then, because then that doesn't make sense to me.
• 17:17
Speaker 2: When don't you have Garcia takeout MGF with the victory
• 17:19
Speaker 2: and the postmatch injury angle if he is still with
• 17:22
Speaker 2: aw not the way that they went about that. So
• 17:25
Speaker 2: despite all that, Doctre I did think this was a
• 17:27
Speaker 2: really fun opener's MJF defeeded Daniel Garcia.
• 17:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, and a good bay to start of the show.
• 17:32
Speaker 3: The crowd was super into it. They were really hyped
• 17:35
Speaker 3: up for it. My thought on it was, okay, you
• 17:38
Speaker 3: can have MJF sneak the win at because just like
• 17:41
Speaker 3: we mentioned last week with Swarrez Strickle, do you really
• 17:43
Speaker 3: want MJF losing back to back pay per views. This way,
• 17:47
Speaker 3: MJF gets a win, Garcia still comes out strong, and
• 17:52
Speaker 3: you can still write both guys off if you need
• 17:54
Speaker 3: to if the movie or the contract situation takes place.
• 17:57
Speaker 3: So but really really fun and enjoyable batch and just
• 18:02
Speaker 3: love the fact that a pile driver is once again
• 18:06
Speaker 3: an important wrestling move like it was as a kid.
• 18:10
Speaker 3: Paul Ornhor's pile driver, you know, Don Morocco's pod Those
• 18:13
Speaker 3: were like Killer Lawler, Jerry Lawler and then just got
• 18:17
Speaker 3: banned and went away. Now one of them I don't
• 18:19
Speaker 3: know if you saw the picture one of them that
• 18:21
Speaker 3: Garcia hit on MJF looked really scary, look very reminiscent
• 18:25
Speaker 3: of the owen Hart's stone Hole tombstone, like the way
• 18:28
Speaker 3: the head was positioned. But just it's just good to
• 18:31
Speaker 3: see that move VM using wrestling again.
• 18:33
Speaker 2: Yeah and again, just on this whole thing, Doctor Trey.
• 18:35
Speaker 2: I mean, whennt it made sense for Daniel Garcia to
• 18:38
Speaker 2: win lay him out if he's staying with AW.
• 18:41
Speaker 3: If he's staying with AW, but if the contract's up
• 18:43
Speaker 3: in the air, MJF getting the win, but Garcia getting
• 18:47
Speaker 3: a measure of revenge that way, if at the contract doesn't
• 18:50
Speaker 3: work out, he can ride off into the sunset and
• 18:53
Speaker 3: be forgotten about in a year or so.
• 18:55
Speaker 2: I will add, and this is going to be a
• 18:57
Speaker 2: feme on the show. No follow up to this on
• 18:59
Speaker 2: one Today's Dynamite. Next match, here is the Young Bucks
• 19:03
Speaker 2: defeeding Blackpool Combat Club of Claudia Castilian Wielder Units, retaining
• 19:06
Speaker 2: AW Tag Team Championship. We did not predict this one.
• 19:09
Speaker 2: This is a really solid tag team match with an
• 19:11
Speaker 2: awful finish. I kind of want the Young Bucks to
• 19:14
Speaker 2: get back to the good old days as I felt
• 19:15
Speaker 2: like this EVP angle has ran its course. I'm not
• 19:18
Speaker 2: sure why Claudio and you were the number one contenders
• 19:20
Speaker 2: for the tag titles, but here we are when it
• 19:21
Speaker 2: comes to Aw's booking. That's sure. Your thoughts on this
• 19:24
Speaker 2: one is the Young Bucks tofeed the Blackpool Combat Club.
• 19:27
Speaker 3: Well, they weren't the number one contenders. They just asked
• 19:30
Speaker 3: for the match, so they got a match. So it
• 19:34
Speaker 3: wasn't that they were number one rated. They were just like, hey,
• 19:37
Speaker 3: we want to shot. No you don't get one. Well,
• 19:39
Speaker 3: you guys are chickens. Okay, now you get one. So
• 19:41
Speaker 3: that was basically the storyline leading into it. I thought
• 19:44
Speaker 3: this match was okay, but just it just felt like
• 19:49
Speaker 3: a filler spot kind of tag team match, and the
• 19:52
Speaker 3: finish was really bad. So it was okay, but not
• 19:56
Speaker 3: up to the level of Widow the Bucks in Claudio
• 19:59
Speaker 3: and Dic couldn't if really given the opportunity in a
• 20:02
Speaker 3: little bit of a storyline.
• 20:03
Speaker 2: Next match year is will Osprey defeating Pak to retaindy
• 20:06
Speaker 2: AW International Championship. We both had will ospray this one
• 20:09
Speaker 2: my recap in this and I just simply wrote, holy shit,
• 20:12
Speaker 2: that was a lot of fun. That's the recap.
• 20:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's about what I had written down too. I
• 20:19
Speaker 3: was like, dear God, I forgot how good pak can
• 20:22
Speaker 3: be when given the opportunity. Every time I see will Osprey,
• 20:26
Speaker 3: I like him more and more, And this was just
• 20:29
Speaker 3: an amazing match. I don't know what else in the
• 20:31
Speaker 3: shows or on this car is going.
• 20:32
Speaker 2: To top it. Will Osprey is a star of my friends.
• 20:35
Speaker 2: Chris Statlander defeats Willow Night and Gallon of Chicago Street Fight.
• 20:38
Speaker 2: We both had Chris Statlander and this one. Stan Lander
• 20:40
Speaker 2: and Willow had the tough task of following Osprey park
• 20:42
Speaker 2: and they delivered. And then some incredible performance by both
• 20:46
Speaker 2: women and a nice bounce back went for stat Lander,
• 20:48
Speaker 2: who really need the victory. She has taken too many
• 20:50
Speaker 2: l's lately. I also guess this wasn't for the CMOL
• 20:53
Speaker 2: World Women's World Championship, Doctor Trey. Your thoughts on this one?
• 20:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought that was what was like.
• 21:01
Speaker 3: This might be the best women's street fight I have
• 21:03
Speaker 3: seen in the last few years, arguably Willow's best match
• 21:08
Speaker 3: I've ever seen Willow have.
• 21:11
Speaker 1: And just a lot of fun.
• 21:14
Speaker 3: For these two, Like how do you follow up ospray
• 21:18
Speaker 3: and Poc and be on level. I was amazed at
• 21:22
Speaker 3: how good this match was, so kudos a both those girls.
• 21:25
Speaker 1: They absolutely killed it.
• 21:27
Speaker 2: Next match is Cazisco Kata defeating Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassie,
• 21:30
Speaker 2: Kenoski Takashka in a fatal four way match, retaining the
• 21:32
Speaker 2: AW Continental Championship. We did not predict this one. I
• 21:35
Speaker 2: really liked the night before that they made this a
• 21:37
Speaker 2: big part of Collision on Friday night heading into AW
• 21:40
Speaker 2: all in are all out, excuse me? And I thought
• 21:43
Speaker 2: that was really good and smart booking by AW creatively
• 21:46
Speaker 2: because I'm going to bash them for some stuff here.
• 21:49
Speaker 2: This match reminded me how I much how much I
• 21:51
Speaker 2: enjoy watching Okada, Oc, Brisco and Takeshko Russell. I hope
• 21:55
Speaker 2: we get to see more Continental title matches on AW
• 21:57
Speaker 2: because I feel like it's become a forgotten title since
• 21:59
Speaker 2: Okada was champion, and we need more title defenses from
• 22:02
Speaker 2: the rain Maker. It's like that's all I can think about.
• 22:05
Speaker 2: I'm like, wait, why don't we get this more. There
• 22:07
Speaker 2: was a period of time the International Championship and in
• 22:09
Speaker 2: the Condinal Championship were defended so many times on television,
• 22:13
Speaker 2: and now we barely get it, Doctor Trey. Your thoughts
• 22:15
Speaker 2: on this one as Ocada retains.
• 22:18
Speaker 1: I kind of thought the same thing.
• 22:19
  Speaker 2: I was like.
• 22:19
Speaker 1: I was like, I love seeing o'cad in the ring.
• 22:21
  Speaker 1: He's fun.
• 22:21
Speaker 3: I'm looking forward to Acata and Takeshko when that happens.
• 22:25
Speaker 3: And I blame will Ospray for not having more Ocata
• 22:27
Speaker 3: matches because they have will Lost Spray like literally in
• 22:31
Speaker 3: everything right now. So yeah, it was really fun match.
• 22:35
Speaker 3: I love Mark brisco I Orange Cassidy's fun. Like this
• 22:39
Speaker 3: is a really fun for a match that really didn't
• 22:43
Speaker 3: get a whole like I mean literally is like a
• 22:44
Speaker 3: one day build to it, but it kind of worked,
• 22:47
Speaker 3: so it was. It was a good four way match
• 22:50
  Speaker 3: and really entertaining.
• 22:52
Speaker 2: Next match here, as Mercedes Monet defeending Nakarls Sheeta retain
• 22:54
Speaker 2: the AWTBS Championship both with that Monau and this one.
• 22:57
Speaker 2: I don't know if there was a miscommunication between Mo
• 23:00
Speaker 2: and Cheetah, but Mercedes kicking out at one and rolling
• 23:03
Speaker 2: out of the ring after three consecutive Katana kicks also
• 23:06
Speaker 2: known as Sheeta's finisher, was a really odd look. Other
• 23:10
Speaker 2: than that spot, I thought this was a nice bounce
• 23:12
Speaker 2: back match for Monett after a match with Britt Baker
• 23:14
Speaker 2: all in which was not good. I really hope she'd
• 23:17
Speaker 2: get some consistent booking because I do enjoy her work. Doc,
• 23:20
Speaker 2: suree your thoughts on this one.
• 23:21
Speaker 3: I thought it was a slightly better match for Monet
• 23:25
Speaker 3: than against Baker. I couldn't figure out if Monette was
• 23:30
Speaker 3: just no selling Cheetah for the sake of pissing her off,
• 23:33
Speaker 3: or if it was Lyargy's miscommunication. But I also realized
• 23:37
Speaker 3: I would much rather watch Mariah Bay than Mercedes Money
• 23:41
Speaker 3: any day of the week.
• 23:43
Speaker 1: Just way more entertaining.
• 23:44
Speaker 3: Like just the segment that Mariah May had began the
• 23:48
Speaker 3: show with Sky Blue was more entertaining to me.
• 23:50
Speaker 1: The dispatch next match.
• 23:52
Speaker 2: Here is Brian Danielson defeating Jack Perry to retain the
• 23:55
Speaker 2: aw World Championship. Hold on to this one here, Doctor Trey,
• 23:59
Speaker 2: we both at Brian Daniels annoying this one. You know
• 24:02
Speaker 2: how in wrestling you'll hear legends say that fans can
• 24:04
Speaker 2: tell when something is bullshit. Well, Jack Perry playing some
• 24:09
Speaker 2: sort of badass rebel is that bullshit that I could
• 24:12
Speaker 2: smell out as a wrestling fan. His character slash Kimmick
• 24:15
Speaker 2: is not working with me and he should go back
• 24:18
Speaker 2: to the character he portrayed pre all in twenty twenty
• 24:20
Speaker 2: three when he was coming out with the classical music.
• 24:24
Speaker 2: I thought that was really good before he was suspended.
• 24:27
Speaker 2: Referee Bryce Remsburg breaking up the small package pin was
• 24:31
Speaker 2: also a really bad look in this one. With all
• 24:34
Speaker 2: that said, I will give the scapegoat his due, which
• 24:38
Speaker 2: was he held his own in this match with Danielson,
• 24:40
Speaker 2: and the entering storytelling was really good. The postmatch angles
• 24:43
Speaker 2: were the best stuff from the segment, from the interaction
• 24:45
Speaker 2: between Killswitch and Jack Perry to the BCC turning on
• 24:48
Speaker 2: Danielson made creative sense. We got an explanation as to
• 24:53
Speaker 2: Moxley and Pock's BCC status, and you to being upset
• 24:56
Speaker 2: with his mentor Danielson being taken out made sense as well.
• 25:00
Speaker 2: There have been some stuff from Dynamite that has not
• 25:02
Speaker 2: made sense when it comes to this angle, which I'll
• 25:04
Speaker 2: get to you here once we recap this pay per view,
• 25:07
Speaker 2: But looking at the show itself, Doctor Trey, that was
• 25:09
Speaker 2: my thoughts as Brian Danielson retained over Jack Perry.
• 25:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, I literally when I'm watching this scapegoat thing. I
• 25:16
Speaker 3: literally think I just wish he would do a Hollywood
• 25:19
Speaker 3: Jack Perry gimmick. I get why you're doing it, but
• 25:22
Speaker 3: now I mean the stuff with punk and everything else.
• 25:25
Speaker 3: That's been almost a year. Now let it go, move
• 25:29
Speaker 3: on to something else. A Hollywood Jack Perry paired with
• 25:33
Speaker 3: the Bucks. It makes a lot more sense. The characters
• 25:35
Speaker 3: would be more in alignment. Him doing like this mad
• 25:39
Speaker 3: Max type thing at times doesn't make a lot of sense,
• 25:41
Speaker 3: especially when you're one hundred and ninety pounds. In this match,
• 25:45
Speaker 3: it worked because Brian Danielson is one hundred and ninety
• 25:47
Speaker 3: pounds also, so it made it worked out. The match
• 25:50
Speaker 3: itself I thought was really well done. It's a universal
• 25:54
Speaker 3: wrestling questions of did Jack Perry hold his own or
• 25:57
Speaker 3: did Brian Danielson carry him through the match? I think
• 25:59
Speaker 3: this is much more Perry can wrestle. He's just the
• 26:03
Speaker 3: character doesn't fit what he does. I loved Claudio and
• 26:07
Speaker 3: you'd to cut it coming out to initially cut off
• 26:10
Speaker 3: the Bucks, and then when it led into the turn postmatch,
• 26:14
Speaker 3: I thought it made a ton of sense. It really worked.
• 26:17
Speaker 3: One of the best turns we've seen in wrestling in
• 26:20
Speaker 3: quite some time, even though, yeah, it's gonna get remembered
• 26:22
Speaker 3: as the plastic bag incident. But for the most part,
• 26:25
Speaker 3: seeing Mox and Pak and Claudio turn on Brian Nilson,
• 26:29
Speaker 3: I thought that was really really cool and gave the
• 26:31
Speaker 3: BCC some direction finally because they haven't had some in
• 26:35
  Speaker 3: a while.
• 26:36
Speaker 1: So love the match, love the finish.
• 26:38
Speaker 3: Just great overall, other than just Jack Perry trying to
• 26:42
Speaker 3: be and you're right, the kill switch Jack Perry thing
• 26:45
Speaker 3: was really cool as well.
• 26:47
Speaker 2: I saw something online that it had a picture of
• 26:50
Speaker 2: Jack Perry and Raven next to one another, because he's
• 26:52
Speaker 2: doing the Raven post a lot of times, and they
• 26:55
Speaker 2: called Jack Perry Timo's version of Raven, which I thought
• 27:00
Speaker 2: was a great line. It's just not working for him.
• 27:04
Speaker 2: This the bus and rolling up and I'm supposed to
• 27:07
Speaker 2: believe that this son of a very famous nineties actor
• 27:14
Speaker 2: is some sort of badass and he just got punked
• 27:17
Speaker 2: out by CM punk via the footage that they themselves
• 27:20
Speaker 2: shared a couple months ago on aw Television. It's just
• 27:23
  Speaker 2: it's not working. It's not working at all. I can't
• 27:26
Speaker 2: believe it, and you could smell it a mile away.
• 27:28
Speaker 3: Yeah, he needs a ward Low a Keith Lee Sin's
• 27:33
Speaker 3: he's not doing anything right. He needs some muscle behind
• 27:36
Speaker 3: him really for this character, he needs a kill switch
• 27:39
Speaker 3: for this character to really work. He needs some muscle
• 27:43
Speaker 3: behind him because then it makes it look more like
• 27:46
Speaker 3: he's a cultish leader and people could buy it, like
• 27:50
Speaker 3: much like Christian Cage has going on or some of
• 27:52
Speaker 3: the other people, or even though like dawaias sixty degree,
• 27:55
Speaker 3: if you have that character with a following, that's great.
• 27:59
Speaker 3: But so and that character is a sidekick in a faction,
• 28:04
Speaker 3: it doesn't work as well.
• 28:06
Speaker 2: We'll get to some of the BCC stuff here once
• 28:08
Speaker 2: we recap again, but yeah, feel free to chime in
• 28:10
Speaker 2: at SRTU podcast with anything that we've said so far
• 28:13
Speaker 2: in regards to all out from this past Saturday. With
• 28:16
Speaker 2: that said, to the main event here is Hangman Adam
• 28:18
Speaker 2: Page defeat Swerve Strickling in a steel cage match. We
• 28:21
Speaker 2: both had a Hangman Adam Page in this one. Hangman
• 28:24
Speaker 2: Page walking out of the heel tunnel and embracing the
• 28:26
Speaker 2: dark side was a really nice subtle start to this
• 28:28
Speaker 2: match that he'ped prepare for what was expected during this match.
• 28:32
Speaker 2: The spot to this one were something Swerve Staple in
• 28:35
Speaker 2: the family photos from the house buying segment onto Hangman's body,
• 28:38
Speaker 2: the cinder block vertebreaker, Swerve stabbing Hangman with a burnt
• 28:42
Speaker 2: piece of wood from his house, Hangman power bombing Swerve
• 28:46
Speaker 2: on a cinderblock, the hyperdermic needle into Swerve's cheek, and
• 28:50
Speaker 2: finally the last chair shot to the head leading to
• 28:53
Speaker 2: Hangman's victory. This was gory, rustling cinema and this is
• 28:56
Speaker 2: the best feud AW has ever produced. Its version of
• 29:00
Speaker 2: Raven Dreamer and Stein Generico. Hangman being broken post match
• 29:04
Speaker 2: with the crowd being silent was something, and it was
• 29:07
Speaker 2: a cool one eighty for his once lovable character. And
• 29:09
Speaker 2: I love the closing shot of an insane Hangman screaming
• 29:12
Speaker 2: to close the show. Doctor Trey, your thoughts on this.
• 29:15
Speaker 3: One one of It's a weird thing for me to
• 29:20
Speaker 3: say this. At times I felt they did too much,
• 29:26
Speaker 3: but some of the stuff they did I have never
• 29:28
Speaker 3: seen before, which blows me away. The very beginning of
• 29:32
Speaker 3: them lowering the cage and trying to wedge each other's
• 29:36
Speaker 3: head into the cage as it's lowering, I'm like, Okay,
• 29:39
  Speaker 3: that's really cool.
• 29:40
Speaker 1: Never seen them before.
• 29:41
Speaker 3: The so of the cinder blocks, I'm like, all right,
• 29:44
Speaker 3: maybe a bit much like a verte breaker onto a
• 29:46
Speaker 3: cinder block. The verte breaker has literally ended people's careers
• 29:50
Speaker 3: and was banned in multiple states for a long time
• 29:54
Speaker 3: because of about dangerous to do it onto a cinder
• 29:57
Speaker 3: block and the match continue, I thought was a little
• 30:01
Speaker 3: too much, But overall this might have been the best
• 30:05
Speaker 3: steel cage match I've seen in a decade.
• 30:08
Speaker 1: Just the steel cage much, I gotta.
• 30:10
Speaker 3: Say, with the pile driver for many a many year
• 30:13
Speaker 3: was like the pen ultimate way to end a feud
• 30:17
Speaker 3: and has gotten kind of misplaced over the past few years.
• 30:21
Speaker 3: This was as brutal of a cage match as I
• 30:25
Speaker 3: have seen since the old NWA days of like Dusty
• 30:28
Speaker 3: and Flair for crying out loud, just brutal, crazy, over
• 30:33
Speaker 3: the top, as much fun as you can have watching
• 30:36
Speaker 3: a wrestling match and still suspending disbelief and going what
• 30:41
Speaker 3: the F did I just see here?
• 30:44
Speaker 1: Just for as like as over the top.
• 30:47
Speaker 3: As it was at times, it was just maybe the
• 30:50
Speaker 3: most fun I've had watching a wrestling match in quite
• 30:52
  Speaker 3: some time.
• 30:53
Speaker 2: You know what's a good thing that aw did here
• 30:55
Speaker 2: is you go back to the full gear match, and
• 30:57
Speaker 2: there was a lot of stuff that we actually discussed
• 30:59
Speaker 2: in that match. We liked that match, but we were like,
• 31:01
Speaker 2: I think they went a little bit too far and
• 31:02
Speaker 2: it was too much. Being that they already like broke
• 31:05
Speaker 2: that wall down, anything that they did in this match
• 31:07
Speaker 2: did not surprise me at all. Even the hypodermic needle.
• 31:10
Speaker 2: I'm like, it's a little bit like like, oh my god,
• 31:13
Speaker 2: like queasy, like looking at it. Done. Not the biggest
• 31:16
Speaker 2: fan of needles, and they're putting in his mouth. I'm like,
• 31:18
Speaker 2: this is insane. And I'm almost positive that Hangman wanted
• 31:22
Speaker 2: to puncture it through his cheek, like that was the
• 31:24
Speaker 2: spot that they were looking for and it just wasn't working.
• 31:28
  Speaker 1: That was.
• 31:30
Speaker 2: What these guys come up with for this match is insane.
• 31:34
Speaker 2: But the entire feud itself, I mean, obviously those two
• 31:37
Speaker 2: guys are playing a massive hand in how the direction
• 31:39
Speaker 2: their feud's going. Whoever is creatively helping build this feud,
• 31:43
Speaker 2: I mean, all of them, who everybody's involved, deserves to
• 31:46
Speaker 2: like take a mass about, like let's let's break the
• 31:48
Speaker 2: fourth wall on an upcoming dynamite. All these people come
• 31:50
Speaker 2: out and they just take a bow Well, give him
• 31:52
Speaker 2: a noster or whatever, because it has been really good
• 31:55
Speaker 2: wrestling cinema, and I think what's most important here, Doctor Trey.
• 31:58
Speaker 2: There were some parts of this throughout the entire show
• 32:00
Speaker 2: that did this as well, including that BCC angle at
• 32:03
Speaker 2: all out it proved that AW can deliver from a
• 32:08
Speaker 2: storyline standpoint, because we saw that come ahead with this
• 32:13
Speaker 2: feud and match and build since Hangman's been back on television.
• 32:16
Speaker 2: I mean, this entire feud has been phenomenal and it's
• 32:19
Speaker 2: been start stop. I think it came together very organically.
• 32:22
Speaker 2: And you know, Joe Swerve is the joker to Hangman's batman.
• 32:29
Speaker 2: I mean he turned Hangman to a heel. He turned
• 32:33
Speaker 2: him into a bad guy. And who would have thunked that,
• 32:36
Speaker 2: you know, a year and a half ago when he
• 32:38
Speaker 2: was this clean cut baby face that did cowboys shit
• 32:41
Speaker 2: on AW television. Again, my only issue with this going
• 32:45
Speaker 2: back to like how I felt with the MGF Daniel
• 32:47
Speaker 2: Garcia stuff, Doctor Trey no follow up on Wednesday's Dynamite.
• 32:51
Speaker 2: I was disappointed to see that nothing from Hangman, no segment.
• 32:55
Speaker 1: No, No, there was Hangman backstage.
• 33:00
Speaker 2: Oh that's right, he did the stuff backstay Okay, yeah,
• 33:03
Speaker 2: the dark order. People weren't looking at him and all
• 33:05
Speaker 2: that stuff. Jeff Jarrett, Yes, the stuff with Jeff Jarrett. Yes,
• 33:09
Speaker 2: you're absolutely right. This is what I get for watching
• 33:11
Speaker 2: aw at two am when I'm feeding my son and bottle.
• 33:15
Speaker 2: But yeah, no, you're right, that did carry over. The
• 33:17
Speaker 2: only thing with that is I just didn't felt like
• 33:19
Speaker 2: it was. I guess it's impactful because it didn't resonate
• 33:22
  Speaker 2: with me.
• 33:23
Speaker 3: Well, there's the weird thing for me was Hangman saying
• 33:28
Speaker 3: and if you tried to help him or stop me
• 33:31
Speaker 3: in this, you're on I'm coming for you next. And
• 33:35
Speaker 3: I was like, well, who was that was? I mean,
• 33:38
Speaker 3: the only person really they got involved this whole angle
• 33:40
Speaker 3: was Jeff Jarrett. So and then they played that off
• 33:42
Speaker 3: a little bit, and Jarrett was mad that Hangman touched Karen.
• 33:45
Speaker 3: So I was like, who's there's still we need direction
• 33:51
Speaker 3: or we need I guess a little cleaner follow up
• 33:55
Speaker 3: than what we saw. Even you know, you look at
• 33:57
Speaker 3: him going you've changed, Okay, didn't you guys turn a heel?
• 34:02
Speaker 3: Also when din'd you guys be embracing this darker side?
• 34:04
Speaker 3: I this is and this is I guess a little
• 34:08
Speaker 3: bit of the issue I have with AW is like
• 34:11
Speaker 3: they forget sometimes or they just don't give a crap
• 34:14
Speaker 3: as to what direction a character's going, So then it's
• 34:20
Speaker 3: like they or at least they only do it with
• 34:22
Speaker 3: like the main event guys, like the the mid card
• 34:25
Speaker 3: and the undercar guys. They forget stuff at times. But
• 34:29
Speaker 3: but yeah, I mean, at least that one did have
• 34:31
Speaker 3: a slight follow up and they didn't just ignore that, Hey,
• 34:34
Speaker 3: our main event match, we're not going to say anything
• 34:37
Speaker 3: about on the very next episode of Dynamite.
• 34:40
Speaker 2: Yeah, yep, no, you were right. I did forget about
• 34:43
Speaker 2: that segment. I guess I would have liked to see
• 34:47
Speaker 2: something a little bit more of those impactful like I
• 34:48
Speaker 2: love the stuff with Moxley at the start of Dynamite,
• 34:50
Speaker 2: Like I thought that was memorable. That was a really good,
• 34:53
Speaker 2: you know, opening segment that they did there to recap
• 34:55
Speaker 2: everything from all out. I guess Word is going away
• 34:59
Speaker 2: for a little bit. He's potentially filming something, So him
• 35:02
Speaker 2: and MGF are filming something, which is not great. I
• 35:04
Speaker 2: don't know if they're not if they're filming together, but
• 35:08
Speaker 2: it's a buddy cop drama that they're doing. Comedy but yeah,
• 35:13
Speaker 2: he's off of television for a little bit. I guess
• 35:14
Speaker 2: according to reports with in regards to Swerve, which is
• 35:17
Speaker 2: a bummer. You got to figure that this feud picks
• 35:19
Speaker 2: back up again. I hope it continues Doctor Trey once
• 35:23
Speaker 2: Swerve comes back. I would love to see whether they're actors, actresses, whatever.
• 35:28
Speaker 2: But I think you got to get Hangman's family involved
• 35:31
Speaker 2: at this point, right, Like his wife and his kids
• 35:33
Speaker 2: need to, you know, have a segment and be like,
• 35:35
Speaker 2: we need our dad back, we need our husband back,
• 35:37
Speaker 2: Like who are you anymore? Like get the crowded gasp
• 35:40
Speaker 2: and all that crap. I think that's kind of what's
• 35:42
  Speaker 2: missing here.
• 35:44
Speaker 3: I think one of the line that Jared said is
• 35:46
Speaker 3: that the toughest opponent some like, when you go down
• 35:48
Speaker 3: this path, the toughest opponent you'll have is the.
• 35:51
Speaker 1: Man you're facing in the mirror.
• 35:52
Speaker 3: And I'm waiting for the segment where you see Hangman
• 35:55
Speaker 3: fighting with himself in his house, his wife and his
• 35:58
Speaker 3: kids around, and Hangman looks at them and Swerve a
• 36:01
Speaker 3: staring back at him in the mirror.
• 36:03
Speaker 1: Cool stuff like that.
• 36:04
Speaker 3: Stuff like that would be really impactful to kind of
• 36:07
Speaker 3: show why he's gone off the rails. But you know,
• 36:11
Speaker 3: like that's that's the thing that the w like certain
• 36:14
Speaker 3: storylines they play. I mean, hell, they're playing off at
• 36:16
Speaker 3: angle from four and a half years.
• 36:18
Speaker 1: Ago right now. Like they do have the ability to
• 36:21
  Speaker 1: do stuff.
• 36:22
Speaker 3: It's just that sometimes they like they have Sammy Govarber's
• 36:27
Speaker 3: Ricochet for no apparent reason other than somebody said, oh, I'd.
• 36:30
Speaker 1: Love to see those guys go at it. They're they're high.
• 36:32
Speaker 3: Flyers, So I mean, doesn't really play No, a storyline,
• 36:35
Speaker 3: doesn't really play into the way things have been booked,
• 36:37
Speaker 3: and then hey, we should just have Morto Spear Ricochet
• 36:40
Speaker 3: for no apparent reason other than he's bored and Ricochet
• 36:45
  Speaker 3: Sometimes where's Red and I don't know, I don't know.
• 36:49
Speaker 2: Is a big fan of the Chicago Bulls.
• 36:50
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that's and that's the thing that drives
• 36:54
Speaker 3: me nuts sometimes is like they'll they'll play stuff off
• 36:56
Speaker 3: that's really well in a great angle, and then they
• 36:59
Speaker 3: have other stuff that you're just like, why, like by
• 37:03
Speaker 3: the way, when you put by the way, I don't
• 37:04
Speaker 3: this is a nipicking thing.
• 37:05
Speaker 1: And I know we're getting off track here. That match
• 37:07
  Speaker 1: with govar Ricochet.
• 37:09
Speaker 3: Why do you do a moon salt off the top
• 37:11
Speaker 3: of the stage like four minutes into the match, and
• 37:14
Speaker 3: at the eight minute Matt, at the eight minute.
• 37:16
Speaker 1: Mark, you're doing at chinlock like that makes no sense.
• 37:22
  Speaker 2: I don't. I don't see what you're upset about. This
• 37:25
Speaker 2: is what you're upset about. So there you go. It was.
• 37:29
Speaker 2: It was cinema. I think it's like Batman and Joker
• 37:31
Speaker 2: for AW. I love the stuff with Swerve laughing at
• 37:34
Speaker 2: the end before Hangman finished him off because I could
• 37:38
Speaker 2: be perceived that Swerve is laughing because he got him
• 37:41
Speaker 2: to the dark side. I mean, there was a lot
• 37:43
Speaker 2: of great stuff it was. It was really really well done.
• 37:46
Speaker 2: With that said, let's give our match to the night
• 37:49
Speaker 2: an event rating. Doug Tray, I always seem to go first,
• 37:52
Speaker 2: so why don't you go first? What was your event
• 37:54
Speaker 2: rating for all out? What was your match of the night?
• 37:57
Speaker 1: My event rate was at four point one.
• 37:59
Speaker 3: Really solid show with some really memorable, really memorable stuff
• 38:03
Speaker 3: that we'll remember five ten years from now.
• 38:05
Speaker 1: Match of the night.
• 38:07
Speaker 3: I think I'm gonna go Swerve in page just because
• 38:09
Speaker 3: they kept upping the A like you wet a great point.
• 38:12
Speaker 3: They've upped the ante every single match they've had in
• 38:16
Speaker 3: this feud, and if they go to a fourth match,
• 38:19
Speaker 3: I don't know what ups it from here other than
• 38:21
Speaker 3: literally just setting somebody on fire.
• 38:23
Speaker 2: Yeah, well, let me get there's some point. We've seen
• 38:26
Speaker 2: that already once before. In aw my event reading, I
• 38:29
Speaker 2: gave it a three point seven out of five. I
• 38:31
Speaker 2: didn't fully love the show. I thought there was a
• 38:33
Speaker 2: couple of gaps, but there's some really good stuff that
• 38:35
Speaker 2: went on there. M Jeff Danglarcia, Willow and Stat and
• 38:40
Speaker 2: Osprey and Pack and I liked the Danielson angle at
• 38:43
Speaker 2: the Inn, and I liked obviously Swerve and Hangman, But
• 38:47
Speaker 2: I thought there was a lot of stuff that was
• 38:49
Speaker 2: kind of filler in there, including stuff with ap pre
• 38:50
Speaker 2: show that we talked about. My match to the night
• 38:53
Speaker 2: was will Osprey Park. I love that match, but that
• 38:55
Speaker 2: was very hard not picking Hangman out in Page and
• 38:58
Speaker 2: Swarp Stroke Clane. I feel like you can't go wrong
• 39:01
Speaker 2: picking either one of those matches from the show, Doctor Trey.
• 39:03
Speaker 3: Yeah, let me ask you this, if you cut out
• 39:05
Speaker 3: the pre show, would your rating be higher?
• 39:09
Speaker 2: I think just even looking at the main card, like
• 39:12
Speaker 2: Bucks Blackpool Combat Club wasn't a big fan of Ocada, Briscoe,
• 39:16
Speaker 2: Cassie Takeshko was okay, Mercedes Mona Hikarashida I did not
• 39:21
Speaker 2: fully enjoy. I thought it was fine, and I thought
• 39:24
Speaker 2: Danielson and Perry ran a little bit too long for
• 39:26
Speaker 2: my liking. I just I didn't find the show completely
• 39:32
Speaker 2: top to bottom like entertaining in that sense.
• 39:35
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean for me, the Seeta Mona mash kind
• 39:38
Speaker 3: of was blah. The Bucks match was kind of but
• 39:43
Speaker 3: just about everything else I was, I got really into,
• 39:46
Speaker 3: which for an aw show, I can't really say that.
• 39:48
Speaker 1: All that often. So that's like.
• 39:51
Speaker 3: I always kind of base mine off. Is there gonna
• 39:53
Speaker 3: be something that I remember years from now? And I
• 39:55
Speaker 3: think I got two of those moments between the Hangman
• 39:59
Speaker 3: pay or the Hangman's Worst stuff and then the BCC turned,
• 40:03
Speaker 3: So I'll have stuff I remember from this, you know,
• 40:05
Speaker 3: five years from now.
• 40:06
Speaker 2: The only thing I will say to this because a
• 40:08
Speaker 2: couple of months ago, I thought the EVPs Jack Perry
• 40:11
Speaker 2: taken out Tony Kahan segment was gonna be one of
• 40:13
Speaker 2: those things that we would remember forever and maybe we'd
• 40:15
Speaker 2: still do because that's what happened. That to me has
• 40:19
Speaker 2: not resonated as an impactful moment, you know, months later.
• 40:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, but then Tony Kahn's never done anything for retribution,
• 40:26
Speaker 3: which is why it kind of fell by the wayside.
• 40:28
Speaker 2: Well, he's just had hired He's just hired Christopher Daniels
• 40:31
Speaker 2: to do his dirty work, which is strange. All Right.
• 40:34
Speaker 2: With that said, let's just I want to move over
• 40:36
Speaker 2: to this conversation here who should be the one that
• 40:39
Speaker 2: ends Brian Danielson's full time wrestling career. And I had
• 40:43
Speaker 2: mentioned earlier on that I was going to talk a
• 40:45
Speaker 2: little bit about some creative stuff that I did not
• 40:47
Speaker 2: enjoy from Dynamite following up from the whole all out show,
• 40:52
Speaker 2: and that one thing is the Moxley angle and Darby
• 40:56
Speaker 2: Allen and Nigel McGinnis heading into Grand Slam. I really
• 40:59
Speaker 2: liked the opening of Dynamite. I thought it was a really,
• 41:01
Speaker 2: really great way to recap, and I like the explanations
• 41:03
Speaker 2: from John Moxley. And then Moxley and Darby have their
• 41:07
Speaker 2: moment and he says, Darby's not ready hand over your
• 41:12
Speaker 2: title shot for an aw World Championship match because the
• 41:16
Speaker 2: match that you were guaranteed to have at Grand Slam
• 41:18
Speaker 2: against Brian Danielson is not happening because he's incapacitated, and
• 41:23
Speaker 2: I was like, okay, this makes that makes sense. Now
• 41:25
Speaker 2: he wants to have the championship. He doesn't think Darby's ready.
• 41:28
Speaker 2: He wants me the one that wins the championship and
• 41:30
Speaker 2: take over the company, at which Moxley said, and then
• 41:34
Speaker 2: he says that Danielson's in capacitated, he won't be at
• 41:36
Speaker 2: Grand Slam. And then Nigel McGinnis comes out and challenges
• 41:41
Speaker 2: Brian Danielson to a match of Grand Slam, and Tony
• 41:43
Speaker 2: Kahn green lights it in storyline standpoint, and they said
• 41:47
Speaker 2: that the only way this happens is if Brian Danielson
• 41:49
Speaker 2: gets cleared in the next two weeks from the match,
• 41:51
Speaker 2: And that explanation did not make me feel good at all,
• 41:58
Speaker 2: Doctor Trey. And this actually ties into you, who I
• 42:01
Speaker 2: think should be the one that ends Brian Danielson's full
• 42:03
Speaker 2: time wresting career. I thought that was shit booking, I
• 42:06
Speaker 2: really did. I think it started off good, that made sense,
• 42:09
Speaker 2: but you keep Danielson off that card. I want to
• 42:11
Speaker 2: see him and Nigel go at it. But it's like,
• 42:15
Speaker 2: I have an idea what they're doing here, which I
• 42:17
Speaker 2: will get to you in just second, But I thought
• 42:19
Speaker 2: that was shit booking in regards to what they're doing
• 42:23
Speaker 2: with Brian Danilson post aw all out.
• 42:26
Speaker 3: Yeah, I thought it made absolutely zero sense because Darby
• 42:32
Speaker 3: is scheduled to have this match. Moxley comes out and
• 42:36
Speaker 3: just like you said, Moxie comes out, says Daniel says a.
• 42:38
Speaker 1: Capacity, he won't be able to do it. Dad.
• 42:41
Speaker 3: I'm like, all right, cool, that makes sense that way,
• 42:43
Speaker 3: you're not kind of screwing Darby here, Like I get
• 42:46
Speaker 3: why you're doing it. It makes sense, but to him.
• 42:51
Speaker 3: And then when Nigel comes out and says, you know,
• 42:53
Speaker 3: the way he set it up, thats like Dalels has
• 42:55
  Speaker 3: been ducking in.
• 42:56
Speaker 1: This is the match that he's been wanting. Da Dada.
• 42:58
Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, it makes sense. But then have it
• 43:00
Speaker 3: go into the same show that forty five minutes earlier
• 43:05
Speaker 3: you just said he's incapacitated but now he might be ready.
• 43:11
Speaker 3: Well that that just kind of screwed everything up. It
• 43:13
Speaker 3: didn't make a ton of sense to me so as much.
• 43:17
Speaker 3: And the bad thing is both matches I really do
• 43:20
Speaker 3: want to see you do want to see Darby and
• 43:22
Speaker 3: John Mossey go at its. I want to see Nigel
• 43:25
Speaker 3: and Brian Nilsen go at its, but to get to
• 43:28
Speaker 3: it made zero sense, and you kind of just blew
• 43:31
Speaker 3: everything else up in your face in the process, like
• 43:34
Speaker 3: it just didn't work for me. And it's still you
• 43:37
Speaker 3: got Jack Perry out there still doing yes, you know,
• 43:40
Speaker 3: mocking Daniel Brian or excuse me, Brian Danielson with the
• 43:43
Speaker 3: the yes move and stuff, and it's like, are are
• 43:46
Speaker 3: we going back to that as well? Is that still
• 43:49
Speaker 3: part of this whole angle? And him just kind of
• 43:52
Speaker 3: storming off like it just wasn't well thought out to
• 43:58
Speaker 3: get to where you wanted to get. I don't mind
• 44:02
Speaker 3: where you want to get to, but at least let
• 44:04
Speaker 3: the path make sense.
• 44:06
Speaker 2: Yeah, again, I agree with you. These are two matches
• 44:08
Speaker 2: I want to see, and the entire thing of itself,
• 44:13
Speaker 2: like if you separate both storylines from one another, it
• 44:16
Speaker 2: makes sense. It's like, oh, okay, that makes sense why
• 44:18
Speaker 2: Moxley wants to do it, but maybe you do. Nigel
• 44:21
Speaker 2: versus Danielsen at Wressell Dream a couple of weeks later
• 44:24
Speaker 2: and Danielson's cleared and we'll figure out if Moxley or
• 44:28
Speaker 2: Darby has won you know that opportunity for a title
• 44:31
Speaker 2: match post Russell Dream maybe you do it a full
• 44:35
Speaker 2: gear And then that takes me to what I think
• 44:37
Speaker 2: is going on right now. So who should be the
• 44:39
Speaker 2: one that ends Brian Danielson's full time wrestling career for
• 44:43
Speaker 2: argument's sake here, for discussion sake, doctor Trial, just come
• 44:45
Speaker 2: out and say that I think it should be Darby Allen.
• 44:47
Speaker 2: There were reports out there pre all in that if
• 44:51
Speaker 2: Danielsen were to win, he was going to drop the
• 44:52
Speaker 2: title like pretty immediately to Darby Allen at Grand Slam
• 44:55
Speaker 2: because he had won the Royal Rampage match to have
• 44:59
Speaker 2: a championship title shot at Grand Slam in late September.
• 45:03
Speaker 2: And then I started noticing Wressell Dreams coming up twenty
• 45:06
Speaker 2: twenty four, and it's in Tacoma, Washington. You got two
• 45:09
Speaker 2: Washington boys, Brian Danielson and you got Darby Allen. And
• 45:13
Speaker 2: if there was a place that they want to crown
• 45:16
Speaker 2: Darby Allen champion, it is in front of the hometown crowd.
• 45:20
Speaker 2: And to me, I think that's what we're getting at.
• 45:22
Speaker 2: I think Darby wins over Moxley, which creatively would not
• 45:28
Speaker 2: make a bunch of sense, right now, so maybe I
• 45:32
Speaker 2: could be talked out of that part. I think Moxley
• 45:35
Speaker 2: versus Danielson or Russell dream after he defeats Darby for
• 45:39
Speaker 2: the title shot would make sense. And obviously I think
• 45:42
Speaker 2: Danielson defeats Nigel mcguinnis in a dream match that you
• 45:45
Speaker 2: know Nigel's wanted to see and I never thought we
• 45:47
Speaker 2: would get to see every again because I think the
• 45:49
Speaker 2: last time these two guys Russell one another was in
• 45:51
Speaker 2: two thousand and nine and Roh and they were both
• 45:53
Speaker 2: on their way out. One was they both were suspected
• 45:55
Speaker 2: to be going to we and then I believe Nigel
• 45:57
Speaker 2: failed a medical exam or physical, So that's who I think.
• 46:02
Speaker 2: I don't think that there's anyone else on that roster
• 46:05
Speaker 2: right now in aw that should be the one that
• 46:07
Speaker 2: ended Brian Danielson's full time wrestling career doct tray, and
• 46:10
Speaker 2: I think it's Derby out of everyone. I would have
• 46:14
Speaker 2: said Swerved Strickland, but obviously that ship is sailed. It's
• 46:18
Speaker 2: got to be someone that deserves the rub, and the
• 46:21
Speaker 2: one that deserves the rub is Derby. And I could
• 46:22
Speaker 2: see Darby winning at Wressell Dream in front of the
• 46:24
Speaker 2: hometown crowd, And I would not be shocked if Christian
• 46:27
Speaker 2: Cage came out and cashed in and defeated him and
• 46:30
Speaker 2: walked out of w Russell Dream as the AW World
• 46:32
Speaker 2: Champion in front of the crowd that's going to be
• 46:34
Speaker 2: booing and really really irritated and pissed off, taking a
• 46:37
Speaker 2: page out of the book of how fans felt about
• 46:39
Speaker 2: Brian Danielson when he was Daniel Brian in twenty thirteen SummerSlam,
• 46:43
Speaker 2: when he defeated John Cena and triple H turned on
• 46:45
Speaker 2: him and then led to Randy Or to win the
• 46:47
Speaker 2: championship again. So I could see something like that playing out.
• 46:51
Speaker 2: So those are my thoughts, Doctor Trey. It's definitely something
• 46:53
Speaker 2: that's going to gain a lot of momentum in traction
• 46:55
Speaker 2: the longer that this goes. But Danielson needs to put
• 46:58
Speaker 2: someone over that deserves it on his way out to
• 47:00
Speaker 2: end his full time rustling career and also drop the
• 47:02
Speaker 2: AW World Championship. And I don't think there's any more
• 47:05
Speaker 2: anybody else more deserving or that would utilize this opportunity
• 47:08
Speaker 2: of the most than Darby Allen would in the AW.
• 47:11
Speaker 3: I think my only issue with it is how much more.
• 47:14
Speaker 3: How much more rubbing of Darby Allen can he get?
• 47:17
Speaker 3: I mean he I know that sounds weird, but like
• 47:22
Speaker 3: he's had the sting rub, he's had the pillars rub,
• 47:26
  Speaker 3: Like I get it. He's true. He's a generational talent.
• 47:31
Speaker 3: Like the guy is an incredible wrestler. He's the most
• 47:36
Speaker 3: death defying wrestler we've seen since you know, Jeff Hardy's
• 47:39
Speaker 3: early days. To me, it should have been Swerve because
• 47:44
Speaker 3: of the same thing you just mentioned. They're both Washington guys,
• 47:48
Speaker 3: Like it makes sense. But if they do the Derby route,
• 47:52
Speaker 3: Like that was my thought process when you went down
• 47:54
Speaker 3: the Derby route, was like, Okay, Darby wins in Tacoma,
• 47:57
Speaker 3: but then Cage catches in because I, once again it's
• 48:00
Speaker 3: kind of Jack Perry thing. As much as I love
• 48:02
Speaker 3: Darby Allen, I just don't see the guy who's one
• 48:04
Speaker 3: hundred and sixty five pounds, Like the belt almost outweighs Darby,
• 48:09
Speaker 3: Like I just have an issue with these tiny people
• 48:13
Speaker 3: beating up like three hundred pounds man three of like
• 48:17
Speaker 3: just so these giant guys, it just it doesn't happen
• 48:20
Speaker 3: in real life unless you're like if you go back
• 48:23
Speaker 3: to like UFC one and two when they had these
• 48:26
Speaker 3: the crazy fighting styles. You saw the hoist Gracie fighting
• 48:29
Speaker 3: a sup bow wrestler and he'd win, Like it just
• 48:32
Speaker 3: doesn't typically happen with trained fighters. And that's always been
• 48:37
Speaker 3: kind of my knock on AW is it is the
• 48:42
Speaker 3: land of like tiny people, Like Edge is a giant
• 48:46
Speaker 3: in ae W and he's like six four two fifty.
• 48:50
Speaker 3: You know, it's like he was an average sized guy
• 48:53
Speaker 3: at time in WW. If you're gonna go down the
• 48:56
Speaker 3: route of who needs who kind of should be the
• 48:58
Speaker 3: one to end it? To me, it should have been
• 49:00
Speaker 3: Swerve or should have been MJF just because I think
• 49:04
Speaker 3: those guys are more positioned to be the flag bears
• 49:08
Speaker 3: of your company just physically.
• 49:10
Speaker 2: They don't need that now, right they're established. It's got
• 49:14
Speaker 2: to be someone that I think, I think Danielson wants
• 49:17
  Speaker 2: to establish someone.
• 49:19
Speaker 1: Well, I mean, look at this way.
• 49:20
Speaker 3: Out of all of the wrestlers that you and I
• 49:22
Speaker 3: have followed over the years and Havery's hired, has any
• 49:28
Speaker 3: of their opponents actually really done anything after those big matches?
• 49:33
Speaker 2: Shawn Michaels, Yeah, I'm just kidding. He really actually didn't
• 49:38
Speaker 2: after the match with taker.
• 49:41
Speaker 3: Does take me from retiring Flair to take or need
• 49:44
Speaker 3: the rub for retiring Sean.
• 49:46
Speaker 2: I just think it's just that old guard wrestling mentality
• 49:48
Speaker 2: which Danielson has. I guess the only other person I
• 49:50
Speaker 2: can think of is we're having this discussion, is Osprey.
• 49:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, or I mean a Wheeler dah, Oh.
• 49:58
Speaker 2: My god, that's not wheel Er? You to AW World Champion? Yeah,
• 50:02
Speaker 2: I mean I like the guy in all but none, no, no.
• 50:05
Speaker 3: But it's there's some of these guys on this roster's like,
• 50:07
Speaker 3: okay this there are some very talented younger wrestlers, but
• 50:10
Speaker 3: they're all undersized, which Brian Danielson is. So I guess
• 50:14
Speaker 3: in that sense, it doesn't make sense to pass the torch.
• 50:18
Speaker 3: But if you were like, hey, who's the guy at
• 50:20
Speaker 3: AEW that you think Brian Dason? What should pass the
• 50:22
Speaker 3: torch to Darby? Doesn't really fit the Danielson character. I
• 50:27
Speaker 3: mean it should be like a Garcia or you know,
• 50:30
Speaker 3: like I hate saying Wheeler, you know, but I mean
• 50:33
Speaker 3: those guys wrestler summer styles. I mean, Baron Corbin didn't
• 50:36
Speaker 3: do anything after retiring, Kurt Engele, you know, somebody's guys
• 50:41
Speaker 3: don't do anything with it.
• 50:42
Speaker 2: So you know his run on NXT as part of
• 50:46
  Speaker 2: the Wolf.
• 50:46
Speaker 3: Dogs, Yeah, I mean, and now he's what the Wolf crewise,
• 50:52
Speaker 3: I guess I mean cruel, cool, crul.
• 50:57
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 50:58
  Speaker 3: I don't know if there's anything really it's to be
• 51:00
Speaker 3: gained by you know. Oh, he's the one that I mean,
• 51:05
Speaker 3: if you're gonna be a heel, I'm the one who
• 51:07
Speaker 3: retired Brian Danielson. Okay, that works, but I mean Darby's
• 51:11
Speaker 3: not gonna got bragging about it.
• 51:13
Speaker 1: That's not the character.
• 51:14
  Speaker 3: So I I just don't know if there's an upside
• 51:16
Speaker 3: to it unless Christian Cage cashes in in the middle
• 51:20
Speaker 3: of the match and wins the match and then he
• 51:23
Speaker 3: can have his little two year runs being the guy
• 51:26
Speaker 3: who retired Brian Danielson.
• 51:28
Speaker 2: I like Christian Cage in all, and I just think
• 51:31
Speaker 2: he has pushed way too much on a TOWB television.
• 51:33
Speaker 2: I find I find this, I find this current run
• 51:36
Speaker 2: to be boring with him. I gotta be.
• 51:38
Speaker 1: Honest, I liked it.
• 51:44
Speaker 3: There are times that has ebbed and flowed, and I'm
• 51:46
Speaker 3: with you, I got I'm like, does he have something
• 51:48
  Speaker 3: on Tony Khan?
• 51:48
Speaker 2: Like, does he have Tony Kan's favorite wrestler. He's Tony
• 51:51
Speaker 2: Khan has come out and said that, but it's all
• 51:55
Speaker 2: time favorite wrestler. You said it's Christian Cage. He's booking
• 51:59
  Speaker 2: him like that.
• 52:00
Speaker 3: Yeah, like I think that, Like I've always loved Christian Cage,
• 52:04
Speaker 3: but he's not my favorite wrestler of all time. It's
• 52:07
Speaker 3: just that's an odd person to single as being your
• 52:10
Speaker 3: favorite wrestler. That's like saying, you know, for somebody to say,
• 52:12
Speaker 3: like Lance Storm was our favorite wrestler of all time.
• 52:16
Speaker 3: Like I love lan Storm, but not my favorite wrestler
• 52:18
Speaker 3: or Steve Blackman for that matter.
• 52:20
Speaker 2: Wow, now we're just getting head cheese lower and lower here.
• 52:24
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just yeah, like the Christian Cage you're on,
• 52:28
Speaker 3: it's been good. I have enjoyed it, but yeah, there
• 52:30
  Speaker 3: are times where I'm like, ah, right, it's it's a
• 52:33
Speaker 3: little stale at times, but then they do something that's
• 52:36
Speaker 3: kind of fun and weird and they've killed the kill
• 52:38
Speaker 3: switch turning on him. Angle at the point now where
• 52:42
Speaker 3: when kill switch does turn nobody's going to give a crap.
• 52:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess the only part. I mean, Moxley Mosley
• 52:47
Speaker 2: could defeat Darby right and Moxley let ending Danielson's full
• 52:50
Speaker 2: time wrestling crew would make sense.
• 52:52
Speaker 3: To Yeah, by the way, did you did you love
• 52:55
Speaker 3: the references to his lordship in the in the.
• 52:58
Speaker 2: Mox pro I did like that.
• 53:01
Speaker 3: I mean that's a saying like mox Claudio, like anybody
• 53:03
Speaker 3: in the BCC makes sense because you can build off
• 53:06
Speaker 3: those guys like Maxi's not going anywhere for the next
• 53:08
Speaker 3: four or five six years, so he could have a
• 53:10
Speaker 3: little bit of a run with it. To me, though,
• 53:13
Speaker 3: it should just be somebody that you think could physically
• 53:15
Speaker 3: withstand the demands of being your world champion. I mean
• 53:18
Speaker 3: a hangman hangman doing it wouldn't make sense, especially because
• 53:21
Speaker 3: it stays on this dark journey.
• 53:24
Speaker 1: But and if Darby does it, it's fine, especially if
• 53:27
Speaker 1: it's in Tacoma. It's fine with me. I'm not gonna
• 53:29
  Speaker 1: hate it.
• 53:30
Speaker 3: It just needs to be somebody to me, like, if
• 53:32
Speaker 3: I'm looking forward at my company five years from now,
• 53:36
Speaker 3: ten years from now, who can withstand the rigors of
• 53:39
Speaker 3: being a focal point physically hold up to those demands.
• 53:44
Speaker 1: And I don't know if Darby can do it.
• 53:47
Speaker 2: I think they want them to do it, though, I
• 53:49
Speaker 2: think if all out of all the pillars right, MGF
• 53:52
Speaker 2: has already been established. The next one that makes sense
• 53:54
Speaker 2: to me, it would be Darby. I mean, I don't
• 53:56
Speaker 2: think Sammy and I don't think Jack Perry are world
• 53:58
  Speaker 2: champions right now.
• 54:01
Speaker 1: I think they think Jack Perry could be a world champion, though.
• 54:06
Speaker 2: I think they do too. I think I think there
• 54:10
Speaker 2: is a lot of Vince in some Tony Kahn book
• 54:12
Speaker 2: and I think he's a very stubborn booker, I gotta admit,
• 54:14
Speaker 2: And I think putting Jack Perry in that spot it
• 54:17
Speaker 2: all out in Chicago was like an FU to anybody
• 54:19
Speaker 2: who's anti Jack Perry and pro sampunk.
• 54:22
Speaker 3: To me, yeah, these very like Vince would hold grudges
• 54:27
Speaker 3: and do things just to incite the fan base. And
• 54:30
Speaker 3: I think Tony does the same thing.
• 54:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's this playground. Feel free to chime in
• 54:36
Speaker 2: at sr TW podcast on X on who you think
• 54:39
Speaker 2: should be the one that ends Brian Daelson's full time
• 54:41
Speaker 2: wrestling career. Dutchery is some big news that was announced
• 54:44
Speaker 2: during this past week's edition of Monday Night Ross starting
• 54:46
Speaker 2: I think October the seventh. It's like the first Monday
• 54:49
Speaker 2: Night in October ROZ going back to two hours for
• 54:53
Speaker 2: the rest of the time on the USA network. In
• 54:55
Speaker 2: regards to how many how long it will go on Netflix,
• 54:59
Speaker 2: the our reports are stating that there may be times
• 55:01
Speaker 2: it goes two hours, it may go two and a
• 55:03
Speaker 2: half hours, and it may go three hours. Sometimes we
• 55:05
Speaker 2: may exceed that. There really is no time for him
• 55:07
Speaker 2: right now when it goes to Netflix. So you and
• 55:10
Speaker 2: I have been fans of Monday Night Raw being three
• 55:13
Speaker 2: hours the last couple of years. Now are you happy
• 55:17
Speaker 2: that it's going back to October two hours in October?
• 55:20
Speaker 2: And is it for the good?
• 55:21
Speaker 3: You know, when this was announced, I immediately flashed back
• 55:24
Speaker 3: to some of our early shows and We're like, dear god.
• 55:26
Speaker 1: We had to watch three hours of Raw. That was
• 55:29
  Speaker 1: oh excruciating.
• 55:30
Speaker 3: It took forever, it just drug And now I'm like, damn, Like,
• 55:34
Speaker 3: are you gonna like have to eliminate some of the
• 55:36
Speaker 3: people that we like watching right now because it's only
• 55:40
Speaker 3: got two hours and we're getting some really good quality
• 55:43
Speaker 3: matches because instead of having filler, we just extend the match.
• 55:48
Speaker 1: It make it even better.
• 55:50
Speaker 3: Like I'm okay with it because I think they're gonna
• 55:54
Speaker 3: try to cram a whole bunch of stuff into two hours,
• 55:57
Speaker 3: because now you've got to figure out what you're gonna
• 55:59
Speaker 3: do that extra hour and fit it back into the
• 56:02
Speaker 3: whole program. Because it's been really, really good. It's gonna
• 56:07
Speaker 3: be hard, Like how do you build up a Bronson raid?
• 56:09
Speaker 3: How do you build up some of these other guys
• 56:10
Speaker 3: that have been getting built up over the last few
• 56:14
Speaker 3: months with a three hour show?
• 56:17
Speaker 1: Now you have to limit that.
• 56:19
Speaker 3: And they're still talk of Roman Reigns having to be
• 56:21
Speaker 3: on raw, and if you have Roman on Raw, like
• 56:23
Speaker 3: you got to make sure you got time for that,
• 56:25
Speaker 3: because I love Roman Reigns. But sometimes those promos with
• 56:28
Speaker 3: Paul Hayman can run about twenty minutes.
• 56:31
Speaker 2: Oh, they certainly can. Yeah, those will run for a
• 56:33
Speaker 2: real long time, and yeah, it will be long on Netflix.
• 56:39
Speaker 2: I guess I'm looking forward to the changeover for Netflix.
• 56:42
Speaker 2: And the old man in me is excited about two
• 56:45
Speaker 2: hour Monday night raws. I got to meet Doctor Trey,
• 56:47
Speaker 2: so like for it to be over at ten o'clock,
• 56:49
Speaker 2: Like that's a dream for an old guy like myself,
• 56:51
Speaker 2: because watching some of those three hour raws on DVRs
• 56:54
Speaker 2: back in the day would suck. But they've done really good.
• 56:57
Speaker 2: I'm upset that people are gonna lose some character development
• 56:59
  Speaker 2: in this one.
• 57:01
Speaker 3: Yeah, and for me, the show will be ending at
• 57:03
Speaker 3: nine o'clock, which means what the hell do I do
• 57:06
Speaker 3: for an hour? Because I go to bed at ten? So, like,
• 57:08
Speaker 3: what am I gonna do for an hour? Like imbout
• 57:10
Speaker 3: to flip over and catch the end of a Saints
• 57:13
Speaker 3: Vikings Monday night football game?
• 57:15
Speaker 1: I guess in that last hour?
• 57:16
Speaker 2: Oh God, I hope it's not Saints and Vikings. And
• 57:19
Speaker 2: then we talk about this every year. So with the
• 57:21
Speaker 2: PWI five hundred, the top ten release list was released.
• 57:26
Speaker 2: Let's go through it here, Doctor Stray ten through one.
• 57:28
Speaker 2: Ten was Mystico nine, Gunther eight, John Moxley seven, MJF six,
• 57:34
Speaker 2: Damien Priest five, Titsi and Ido four, seth Rons, three,
• 57:38
Speaker 2: will Ospray, two Swerve Strickland and one Cody Rhodes. Your
• 57:44
Speaker 2: thoughts on the list?
• 57:45
Speaker 3: So did they give you the dates of when the
• 57:49
  Speaker 3: rankings were compiled?
• 57:51
Speaker 2: I think they always do it September to September, all right.
• 57:54
  Speaker 1: I mean I don't hate the rankings.
• 57:57
Speaker 3: I mean you can argue, you know, is Mystico really
• 58:01
Speaker 3: a top ten guy when most of the audience doesn't
• 58:04
Speaker 3: know who he is, didn't I thought Nido had a
• 58:09
Speaker 3: bad year in New Japan, but maybe I was wrong,
• 58:13
Speaker 3: you know, like some of it is a little bit skewed,
• 58:15
Speaker 3: but I think for the most part, I think seven
• 58:18
Speaker 3: of the top ten absolutely deserved to be there. I
• 58:21
Speaker 3: saw people complaining that gun Thy maybe should been higher
• 58:23
Speaker 3: than Davey and Priest, but Priest had a little better
• 58:26
Speaker 3: he was championed for longer and Guntherer just got the
• 58:29
Speaker 3: belt right before the rankings ended. But Gunther was ic
• 58:32
Speaker 3: champ for forever. I don't like saying six hundred and
• 58:35
Speaker 3: sixty six days because then God punishes me.
• 58:38
Speaker 1: But you know, maybe Gunther over Priest.
• 58:42
Speaker 3: You know, m j Or Moxley was in and out
• 58:46
Speaker 3: a lot this year, so it is kind of you know,
• 58:50
Speaker 3: it's you can nitpick it. But I really think outside
• 58:53
Speaker 3: of you know, Mistico and Nido, like eight of the
• 58:56
Speaker 3: top tens and the top ten are pretty solid picks.
• 58:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with you. I you know, this goes
• 59:03
Speaker 2: a lot with how we feel about how this year
• 59:05
Speaker 2: has turned out. I mean, we had this discussion a
• 59:07
Speaker 2: couple of months ago when we were looking at the
• 59:08
Speaker 2: halfway point of the year. I think it's a three
• 59:10
Speaker 2: dog race on the men's side of things when you
• 59:12
Speaker 2: look at Osprey, Swerve and Cody Rhodes to the top
• 59:14
Speaker 2: men in professional wrestling right now.
• 59:18
Speaker 3: I as with as much as Drew McIntyre has done
• 59:23
Speaker 3: this year, even though not winning as much as maybe
• 59:26
Speaker 3: he should, I think he's been one of the most
• 59:28
Speaker 3: entertaining characters. So I think I think maybe Drew should
• 59:31
Speaker 3: be in the top ten. If he wasn't mentioned there,
• 59:33
Speaker 3: I literally forgot you if you said Drew McIntire.
• 59:36
Speaker 2: No, he's not in the top ten. And that's that's
• 59:37
Speaker 2: a very fantastic point of somebody who should be in
• 59:39
Speaker 2: that list. Let me Actually they broke it down some
• 59:42
Speaker 2: more over at Wressell Purris on Twitter. So the twenty
• 59:45
Speaker 2: twenty four p WI five hundred top ten from we
• 59:48
Speaker 2: SO one was Cody Rhodes, Number four was seth Number
• 59:50
Speaker 2: six was Damian Priest, Number twelve was Sammy Zay. Thirteen
• 59:54
Speaker 2: is Drew McIntyre at seventeen. Here you go ahead, I
• 59:59
  Speaker 2: was a third.
• 59:59
Speaker 1: That's way too low for Drew McIntire this year.
• 1:00:01
Speaker 2: I agree, he's had a really, really, really good year.
• 1:00:05
Speaker 2: I think i'd put him top five. Doctor try.
• 1:00:08
Speaker 3: Yeah, i'd at least have I mean, i'd have him
• 1:00:10
Speaker 3: over missed a go Nido, you could argue him and
• 1:00:13
Speaker 3: count Priest and was out for the year.
• 1:00:17
  Speaker 2: I Moxley, I would put him over. I liked I've
• 1:00:20
Speaker 2: actually liked Damian Priest a lot this year. I think
• 1:00:23
Speaker 2: he could be a top top five wrestler and he's
• 1:00:26
Speaker 2: just on the outside with six.
• 1:00:29
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 1:00:29
Speaker 3: No, I to me, it would probably be Cody Swerve Osprey,
• 1:00:33
Speaker 3: McIntyre Priest would be my top five.
• 1:00:35
Speaker 2: Cody Swerve McIntyre, Osprey Priest.
• 1:00:39
Speaker 1: Yeah, you can switch Ospray McIntyre.
• 1:00:42
  Speaker 2: Yeah, I would go cod I thought, Man, I don't
• 1:00:44
Speaker 2: know right now, I really want to say Swerve number one.
• 1:00:48
Speaker 3: Oh no, I'm not saying like Cody's number one. I'd
• 1:00:50
Speaker 3: just say my top.
• 1:00:51
Speaker 2: Five top five wrestlers this year. Yeah, yeah, like Cody
• 1:00:55
Speaker 2: Swerve Osprey McIntyre Priest. Yeah, I think I agree with you.
• 1:01:00
Speaker 1: I'd probably go Swerve number one as of right now.
• 1:01:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I would go Swerve number one right
• 1:01:04
Speaker 2: now as well. And I think Cody two, Osprey, three Priest,
• 1:01:11
Speaker 2: McIntyre four, Priest five.
• 1:01:14
Speaker 3: Yeah, that would be my Yeah, I would and and
• 1:01:17
Speaker 3: but then i'd have Gunther right behind Priest.
• 1:01:20
  Speaker 2: Yeah, I think's in there.
• 1:01:22
Speaker 3: I can't really, just as the character development for both
• 1:01:26
Speaker 3: those guys this year has been great. Seeing guntherer do
• 1:01:29
Speaker 3: a lot of stuff on his own without Kaiser and
• 1:01:32
Speaker 3: Vinci right there with him, I think helps him out,
• 1:01:35
Speaker 3: as you know, helps him out as well.
• 1:01:38
  Speaker 1: But yeah, it's it's hard.
• 1:01:39
Speaker 3: It's for me, it's hard to separate Gunther and Priest
• 1:01:42
Speaker 3: because I think they both had outstanding years. I just
• 1:01:43
Speaker 3: think McIntyre's been more entertaining than both those guys.
• 1:01:46
Speaker 2: I also think Rollin's being injured the last like five
• 1:01:49
Speaker 2: months and off of television here and there has really
• 1:01:54
Speaker 2: like dampened how good of a year he was having
• 1:01:57
Speaker 2: from the last time that they did this list.
• 1:01:59
Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean that's literally like Rolins, Moxley, mjf
• 1:02:03
Speaker 3: are all basically gonna saying like Tree when they're there,
• 1:02:06
Speaker 3: it's great years. But they've been off TV so much
• 1:02:09
Speaker 3: this year it's hard to put them into that upper
• 1:02:12
Speaker 3: echelon that we named.
• 1:02:13
Speaker 2: That is a really good point. That is a good point.
• 1:02:16
Speaker 2: The rest of the We List seventeen was Juso twenty seven,
• 1:02:19
Speaker 2: is La Night twenty eight is Trick Williams. I like Trick.
• 1:02:22
Speaker 2: That's way too high. Thirty Elia Dragonoff, like Ilia, that's
• 1:02:26
Speaker 2: probably way too high. Thirty seven Logan Paul, that's way
• 1:02:30
Speaker 2: too high. PWI five hundred. Top ten from AAW two
• 1:02:34
Speaker 2: is Swerve three, will Ospray seven, mjf Hhn Moxley eleven,
• 1:02:39
Speaker 2: Samoa Joe fourteen, Brian Danielson twenty, Eddie Kingston twenty one,
• 1:02:46
Speaker 2: Kisisko Katta twenty four, Orange Cassie twenty six, Adam Copeland.
• 1:02:51
Speaker 3: Okay, so you're gonna have Eddie Kingston, who hasn't been
• 1:02:54
Speaker 3: in a ring in like seven months, just off that
• 1:02:57
Speaker 3: ranking is higher than Kevin Owens in ring Orton this year.
• 1:03:01
Speaker 2: Well that was just top ten for AW. But yes,
• 1:03:03
Speaker 2: you're right, Kevin Owens and Randy ort were not up there,
• 1:03:05
Speaker 2: now that I get what you're saying.
• 1:03:07
Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, so, I mean it's is PWI as much
• 1:03:11
Speaker 3: I love, and they do have a little bit of
• 1:03:12
Speaker 3: a melter thing to them where they'll rank some guys
• 1:03:16
Speaker 3: a little bit higher than they should be just because
• 1:03:19
Speaker 3: they're of their affiliation. And we probably get skewed by
• 1:03:22
Speaker 3: fans as well for saying that we have more of
• 1:03:24
Speaker 3: a WWE bias. But Eddie Kingson's twenty and he broke
• 1:03:28
Speaker 3: his leg like in April.
• 1:03:32
Speaker 2: He was having a great year. That Continental Classic run
• 1:03:35
Speaker 2: was a lot of fun. But I get what you're saying.
• 1:03:36
Speaker 2: I do get it.
• 1:03:38
Speaker 1: Sis he won it.
• 1:03:38
Speaker 3: They took the belt right off, They split all the
• 1:03:40
Speaker 3: belts up right like what two months after he won
• 1:03:42
Speaker 3: the Triple Crowd Tile they split all the belts up
• 1:03:45
Speaker 3: and then o'cata had the Continental title.
• 1:03:47
Speaker 2: Right after that. Some just for fun here which we've
• 1:03:50
Speaker 2: never covered, but Russell Puris had had put this up
• 1:03:52
Speaker 2: on their Twitter feed. Who do you think they have
• 1:03:56
Speaker 2: down as the number one colored commentator and profession and wrestling?
• 1:04:00
Speaker 2: This is not a play by play person number one
• 1:04:02
  Speaker 2: color commentator.
• 1:04:04
Speaker 1: Oh that's a good one. Crap.
• 1:04:10
Speaker 3: I honestly don't know, because I would probably say Wade Barrett.
• 1:04:14
Speaker 2: Wade Barrett is number two.
• 1:04:16
Speaker 1: Ah, okay, number one. Nigel McGinnis, Okay, I can't hurt
• 1:04:22
  Speaker 1: Nigel's good.
• 1:04:23
  Speaker 2: I can't. Nigel's amazing. When I saw this list, all
• 1:04:27
Speaker 2: I could think to myself is how much is Triple
• 1:04:29
Speaker 2: h pissed off that when he got sick? Vince let
• 1:04:33
Speaker 2: Nigel go to rot On like NXC level up and
• 1:04:36
Speaker 2: let his contract basically run out.
• 1:04:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, but do you think Triple H would let Nigel
• 1:04:40
Speaker 3: get back in the ring.
• 1:04:44
Speaker 2: I think he's been a little bit more flexible about
• 1:04:46
Speaker 2: that than anyone, because I think he had discussions with
• 1:04:49
Speaker 2: Soraya slash Page about getting back in the ring before
• 1:04:52
Speaker 2: she had I think she had said she signed with AW.
• 1:04:57
Speaker 2: I think he would doctor try. I do. I think
• 1:05:00
Speaker 2: if Nigel was able to get cleared, I think he
• 1:05:02
Speaker 2: would give the okay.
• 1:05:04
Speaker 3: But and and you know, we're getting Nigel and Brian Danielson,
• 1:05:08
Speaker 3: so I think I'm okay with it. But yeah, by
• 1:05:11
Speaker 3: the way, I meant to ask you this, and I.
• 1:05:12
Speaker 1: Know this is a little bit off topic, but what
• 1:05:14
Speaker 1: do you think of Joe Tesataur so far?
• 1:05:16
Speaker 2: Uh? Interesting? Because I wanted to ask you about that
• 1:05:18
Speaker 2: because I know you're more the college football guy than
• 1:05:20
  Speaker 2: I am. I think it's he's not he's not there yet, right.
• 1:05:28
Speaker 2: I really enjoyed Michael Cole's work lately. I liked that
• 1:05:31
Speaker 2: he was showing a little bit of personalent personality, and
• 1:05:33
Speaker 2: I think Test Tour is a little bit too structured,
• 1:05:38
Speaker 2: unseasoned lacking a little bit of personality.
• 1:05:41
Speaker 3: My my thing so far is he's better than add
• 1:05:44
Speaker 3: Non Verk was. Oh yeah, uh he's I think he's
• 1:05:48
Speaker 3: as good as oh, the Scottish kid.
• 1:05:52
Speaker 1: I'm blanking on his name.
• 1:05:53
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, what the hell was his name? Irish Irish kid.
• 1:05:57
Speaker 1: Irish kid. He's better than him. My only take on
• 1:06:00
  Speaker 1: it is.
• 1:06:01
Speaker 3: You can tell he's watched a lot of old wrestling
• 1:06:04
Speaker 3: commentating leading into this, because at times it does sound
• 1:06:08
Speaker 3: a little hokey and corny and a little bit of that,
• 1:06:12
Speaker 3: you know, early nineties wrestling style. But I think the
• 1:06:16
Speaker 3: guy is one of the best football commentaries I've ever heard,
• 1:06:21
Speaker 3: and his vocabulary is very strong. I think with a
• 1:06:26
Speaker 3: little more time, he will be really good at this.
• 1:06:29
Speaker 3: So I'm giving him a little more leegue way than
• 1:06:32
Speaker 3: maybe some of the past, you know, play by play
• 1:06:35
Speaker 3: guys they've had on Raw.
• 1:06:37
  Speaker 2: From what I've read, I believes he's actually a legit
• 1:06:40
Speaker 2: wrestling fan, which I think is a little bit debatable
• 1:06:43
Speaker 2: because he didn't seem to fully know who Brett Hart
• 1:06:47
Speaker 2: was on Raw Monday Night. But from what I've read,
• 1:06:52
Speaker 2: the belief is he is a wrestling fan.
• 1:06:55
Speaker 3: Yeah, but ad Non Vurk was a wrestling fan and
• 1:06:58
Speaker 3: was just wasn't good Sometimes, like being a wrestling fan
• 1:07:02
Speaker 3: can hurt you in this true because you start playing
• 1:07:06
Speaker 3: into what you grew up listening to, and sometimes it
• 1:07:09
Speaker 3: doesn't fit your natural voice.
• 1:07:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, not everybody could be Jim Ross.
• 1:07:14
Speaker 3: Yeah, and sometimes when you're trying to be a Jim
• 1:07:17
Speaker 3: Ross or even back of the day at Tony Shavanni,
• 1:07:20
Speaker 3: it comes off sounding weird to me. I think testatory
• 1:07:24
Speaker 3: him and Barrett already have a good chemistry already, so
• 1:07:27
Speaker 3: I'm not hating the Raw broadcast. I just think it
• 1:07:31
Speaker 3: takes a little time to kind of get that chemistry
• 1:07:33
Speaker 3: down and get that natural vibe. I think at times
• 1:07:37
Speaker 3: he's kind of forcing it to kind of play into
• 1:07:40
Speaker 3: like the stuff he grew up listening to.
• 1:07:42
Speaker 2: Wade is doing a really good job and he helps
• 1:07:44
Speaker 2: him out a lot. Or as Gunther called him on.
• 1:07:45
Speaker 1: Raw, still, yeah, I got that.
• 1:07:48
Speaker 2: Which is his real name, Stu Barrett. All right, with
