- 0:00Speaker 1: Clarity Out Countdown Week is underway today. We'll break it
- 0:03Speaker 1: down for you. There's a lot happening that you guys
- 0:04Speaker 1: will want to pay close attention to today. I want
- 0:07Speaker 1: to thank our sponsor today and that is Uphold. We've
- 0:10Speaker 1: all been there. Expenses pop up right when the market's
- 0:13Speaker 1: starting to heat up. It's not the right time to sell.
- 0:16Speaker 1: The last thing you want to do is sell your Bitcoin,
- 0:18Speaker 1: your ethereum, your XRP, or even your stable coin USDC.
- 0:22Speaker 1: This is exactly why Uphold launched the Exa credit card.
- 0:26Speaker 1: When I found out about this, I was blown away.
- 0:29Speaker 1: It's an instant line of credit that lets you borrow
- 0:32Speaker 1: against your crypto without having to sell. All you have
- 0:35Speaker 1: to do is just use your assets as collateral and
- 0:38Speaker 1: spend it worldwide using a virtual visa card. This is
- 0:41Speaker 1: the coolest feature I love about this. There are no
- 0:44Speaker 1: credit checks and you can repay on a schedule that
- 0:47Speaker 1: works specifically for you. It's the smartest way to stay
- 0:50Speaker 1: long in the market while accessing your portfolio's value. Today,
- 0:55Speaker 1: download the Uphold app and get your virtual Exa card
- 0:58Speaker 1: in just a few taps. Let's start over this tweet
- 1:01Speaker 1: right here. This, of course, is coming in from President
- 1:03Speaker 1: Trump in honor of Senator Lindsey Graham, a big supporter
- 1:06Speaker 1: of a big supporter. The US Senate should pass the
- 1:09Speaker 1: Clarity Act. China and many other countries would like to
- 1:12Speaker 1: take complete control and total control of this major financial
- 1:16Speaker 1: happening as well as Ai, where we are leading now,
- 1:21Speaker 1: but where they are fighting hard. Don't let China win
- 1:24Speaker 1: on either subject, President Donald J. Trump. So there you have.
- 1:28Speaker 1: This is the first time that we've really seen him
- 1:31Speaker 1: get behind Clarity. Maybe this is another support mechanism of
- 1:35Speaker 1: him going into the front of the line and getting
- 1:38Speaker 1: some of the people that are on the hump to
- 1:40Speaker 1: go ahead and vote for this. But you've got it
- 1:42Speaker 1: right here. Twenty four days, five hours before this is
- 1:45Speaker 1: pretty much over for Clarity not going through. Even though
- 1:49Speaker 1: twenty four days you feel like that's hey, that's almost
- 1:52Speaker 1: a month pault, the reality is is there's only a
- 1:55Speaker 1: handful of days that are in there. So this is
- 1:57Speaker 1: a very critical week for already. Patrick Witt, of course,
- 2:01Speaker 1: is out there pushing this as well. I want to
- 2:04Speaker 1: go to this right here. This shows you the layout
- 2:07Speaker 1: of what would potentially happen if the Senate passed This
- 2:10Speaker 1: is what happened in Genius Act. The Senate passed it
- 2:14Speaker 1: in June seventeenth, this was last year. Thirty days later
- 2:18Speaker 1: the House passes it, and then immediately right after that,
- 2:20Speaker 1: July eighteenth, Trump signed that, so just one day. The
- 2:23Speaker 1: key here is if the House does not have to
- 2:27Speaker 1: go back and relook at this. So if there's material
- 2:30Speaker 1: difference between what the Senate comes out with and what
- 2:33Speaker 1: the House sent to them, then you could potentially get
- 2:37Speaker 1: a delay in there. But it looks as though this
- 2:40Speaker 1: could really get done if they allow it. If you
- 2:43Speaker 1: go over and look at the calendar, here we are
- 2:45Speaker 1: in July today being the thirteenth, right there, Monday this
- 2:49Speaker 1: week is the critical week they're talking about. Then you've
- 2:51Speaker 1: got next week and the following that pretty much puts
- 2:55Speaker 1: you down to the wire. August seventh is kind of
- 2:58Speaker 1: the last day, and that is the question mark right now,
- 3:01Speaker 1: because September, the likelihood is there already out campaigning, and
- 3:05Speaker 1: of course we know nothing's happening in October. They're not
- 3:08Speaker 1: in session. November is when midterms occur. So there you
- 3:12Speaker 1: have it, guys. We are literally down to the wire,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and that is the real situation right now. One of
- 3:18Speaker 1: the big milestones that will happen this week is if
- 3:21Speaker 1: they drop the text. If this gets delayed, then that's
- 3:23Speaker 1: a problem. Everybody's awaiting the updated legislative texts, merging the
- 3:27Speaker 1: Senate Banking and Senate Agricultural Committee versions of the bill.
- 3:31Speaker 1: This is again what the House will go back and
- 3:33Speaker 1: look at. If there's not a lot of differences, and
- 3:35Speaker 1: they like what they see, and it goes to the
- 3:37Speaker 1: Senate and passes, then the House would pretty much rubber
- 3:39Speaker 1: stamp this and you've got Trump right on the heels
- 3:41Speaker 1: of being able to sign this. One other point, even
- 3:44Speaker 1: though this issue I want to go over in a second,
- 3:46Speaker 1: but the other issue is ethics. They have not reached
- 3:48Speaker 1: anything that we know of. Maybe there's some backroom deals,
- 3:52Speaker 1: but nothing that we know of that has really addressed
- 3:54Speaker 1: the ethics issue, which we believe is going to be
- 3:58Speaker 1: the most critical thing to get this three. The other
- 4:00Speaker 1: thing that's complicating matters right here is the death of
- 4:03Speaker 1: Senator Lindsey Graham and coupled with the continued absence of
- 4:07Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell. Is he going to vote or not going
- 4:09Speaker 1: to vote? Both these Republicans are a problem because if
- 4:12Speaker 1: they now are really in a position where if you
- 4:16Speaker 1: lose those two votes, you've got to be able to
- 4:19Speaker 1: recover those And that is another factor, because it's already
- 4:22Speaker 1: a big issue of being able to get enough votes
- 4:24Speaker 1: to reach the sixty vote threshold. So that is a
- 4:28Speaker 1: big deal. There is a hearing coming up in the
- 4:32Speaker 1: House building the Future of Finance, how Clarity Act unlocks innovation.
- 4:35Speaker 1: This is happening July seventeenth. Maybe that's a good sign.
- 4:39Speaker 1: And then, of course it's been a while since we
- 4:40Speaker 1: talked about choke point two ponent. I wonder if they're
- 4:42Speaker 1: going to be talking about it then, because remember all
- 4:46Speaker 1: of this choke point problem that we dealt with. Well,
- 4:48Speaker 1: now the courts are now starting to divvy out damages.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Kraken got twenty two million dollars in awards. You know
- 4:57Speaker 1: who pays this, right, it's the federal government pays this
- 5:00Speaker 1: because of the actions of the ICC. That's you and
- 5:02Speaker 1: I paying those kinds of fees. So let's jump over
- 5:06Speaker 1: a course to the biggest proponent, and that is Cynthia Lummis.
- 5:09Speaker 1: She is out there tweeting constantly and pushing almost one
- 5:13Speaker 1: a day in terms of promoting the Clarity Act and
- 5:17Speaker 1: getting it done, and that is something I think that
- 5:20Speaker 1: will continue to push at least people that are on
- 5:24Speaker 1: the fence maybe to a position of yes, let me
- 5:27Speaker 1: think about voting for this. But I think this is
- 5:29Speaker 1: still a very very close issue. Remember though, midterms happening
- 5:34Speaker 1: right now, that's what everybody's up against. You've got this
- 5:36Speaker 1: massive fundraiser going on in some states. One of them
- 5:39Speaker 1: is the one in Dallas, which will be at the RNC.
- 5:42Speaker 1: That's September ninth through tenth in Dallas. So as you
- 5:44Speaker 1: can see, this is pretty much over if we do
- 5:47Speaker 1: not get this done in August. Big deal. Another thing
- 5:51Speaker 1: that you kind of have to consider is corruption always wins, guys,
- 5:56Speaker 1: it always wins. And this is jillibrandt Senator Jill Brand's son.
- 6:00Speaker 1: He's twenty two years old. He's getting ready to launch
- 6:03Speaker 1: his own financial exchange. And guess who's back in him. Well,
- 6:07Speaker 1: you got Chris Larson there, you got John Griffin, Mark
- 6:10Speaker 1: or Mark ein all our angel investors. So there is
- 6:13Speaker 1: a lot of I think importance on the line in
- 6:18Speaker 1: terms of even the people that are in our government
- 6:22Speaker 1: now because of special interest down to the level of
- 6:26Speaker 1: their own family members. So this is going far beyond
- 6:29Speaker 1: even just what's happening with the Trump family. So what
- 6:31Speaker 1: could stop this? Let's take a look at it, because
- 6:33Speaker 1: right now it's pretty much anything you've got Zach coming
- 6:36Speaker 1: over from Gray Scale saying this. It's not one thing,
- 6:39Speaker 1: it's another strategy, not buy or sell. This is July
- 6:42Speaker 1: sixth to twelfth. That's a problem Trump. We're taking over
- 6:45Speaker 1: the straight you've got that. That's another problem. Point is
- 6:49Speaker 1: there's a lot of issues that are facing not only
- 6:52Speaker 1: the crypto community, and clarity is just one of them.
- 6:55Speaker 1: So if we don't get clarity, what could potentially happen? Well,
- 6:59Speaker 1: the SEC is going to take the lead. You've got
- 7:01Speaker 1: them hitting it right here. This is an interesting point too.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Transfer agents. This is a group for the transfer agents
- 7:07Speaker 1: that are urging the SEC to favor issuer sponsored token
- 7:11Speaker 1: token I shares, and the way they're asking it is
- 7:14Speaker 1: right here, should receive preferential treatment under future rules. So
- 7:20Speaker 1: that tells you right there why we need clarity. The
- 7:23Speaker 1: SEC is going to get into a position where they
- 7:25Speaker 1: can kind of dictate the rules. We've seen that before
- 7:28Speaker 1: and we didn't like it. The other thing that will
- 7:30Speaker 1: happen is the banks are going to continue to put
- 7:32Speaker 1: pressure on it, especially around stable coin yields. And you've
- 7:35Speaker 1: got all of these earnings calls happening this week. We're
- 7:39Speaker 1: going to listen to them all, guys, because there's going
- 7:41Speaker 1: to be some hidden gems in here. I just know it.
- 7:44Speaker 1: There is a lot happening this week, including even on Wednesday,
- 7:48Speaker 1: quite a bit more and Stanley Blackrock. All of this
- 7:51Speaker 1: could be at the very cusp of maybe breaking open
- 7:56Speaker 1: the clarity at its complete And what I mean by
- 7:59Speaker 1: that is is the banks may have a strategy of
- 8:02Speaker 1: their last ditch effort that would happen this week and
- 8:05Speaker 1: maybe next maybe uncovering in these files. So we'll see
- 8:09Speaker 1: if that actually gets in there. One of the things
- 8:12Speaker 1: they probably will be talking about is of course Circle,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and that will be on their high agenda because remember
- 8:19Speaker 1: Circle has received their final occ approval to establish Circle
- 8:22Speaker 1: National Trust. You've got that with Ripple, You've got that
- 8:25Speaker 1: with Robin, You've got it pretty much with every major
- 8:28Speaker 1: entity out there that's competing against the banks. So the
- 8:31Speaker 1: reality is real and it's going to happen. The other
- 8:34Speaker 1: thing that is happening right now is Robinhood has actually
- 8:38Speaker 1: had to go in and build an alternative mechanism because
- 8:41Speaker 1: we can't have nice things yet. And what I'm talking
- 8:44Speaker 1: about is we can't build a token is stock engine
- 8:46Speaker 1: within Robinhood until we have clarity. So what do they do.
- 8:50Speaker 1: They go out and put the Robinhood chain and what
- 8:53Speaker 1: happens mean coins takeover. So this is the kind of
- 8:55Speaker 1: issue that the markets will find a way, whether we
- 8:59Speaker 1: like it or not. The markets will find a way
- 9:01Speaker 1: and eventually we will be competing against other countries and
- 9:05Speaker 1: we will be competing I think against maybe other sectors
- 9:09Speaker 1: entirely if we don't get clarity through. So a lot
- 9:11Speaker 1: of pressure on the line this week. Make sure and
- 9:14Speaker 1: stay tuned for all of what's going to happen. If
